- 1:07me. Besides, he leads me beside steel waters. He restoreth my soul.
- 1:27When you become a believer, your spirit is made right. Sometimes the
- 1:36soul doesn't get the notice it has a hole in it delivering me because all
- 1:53I seem to do it. Hey, hey, hey, hey, family
- 2:52and friends, welcome, Welcome, Welcome to every's joint. I'm more than
- 2:57a woman's podcast and I am host doctor Erica T. Moore and happy,
- 3:02terrific and tantalizing Tuesday. Yes we are here but our second show, and
- 3:09I'm truly elated to be here with you. And tonight show is very special.
- 3:15It's going to be a serious show, but it's a show that something
- 3:20that we all need to pay attention to. So I like to begin each
- 3:24of my shows with a quote. And the quote of the day is coming
- 3:29from none other thing, then then me, hope is not doubting but trusting
- 3:35the process. Hope is not doubting but trusting the process. Hunt on that
- 3:40and allow yourself to rarely become personal with that. What does that mean?
- 3:45Well, we're gonna get into the show, and then I'm gonna come back
- 3:47and explain exactly what this means. So listen, I'm excited about this guest.
- 3:53She is truly a woman of many gifts and talents. She is someone
- 3:58there to my heart. She's my spiritual mentor, she's my big sister,
- 4:02she's one of my business partners. But most of all, she's my friend
- 4:08and my prayer partner. So I'm going to present the some and introduce to
- 4:12others apostible, doctor Vivian Cymore. Are you there, Yes, I am,
- 4:19and it's a pleasure to be with you today. Hey, doctor Vivian,
- 4:26I'm so excited to finally have you here. I know that you are
- 4:30gonna bless us richly. So listen, before we get into the show,
- 4:34tell us a little something about yourself. Well, I am a woman,
- 4:43woman of many talents and many callings. I am the founder of New Beginning
- 4:48Life Ministries International, with home base in Maryland as well as Mississippi. I
- 4:56also am a gonna Go pastoral houseful in Mississippi and globally, and as an
- 5:04international representative and diplomat. Also three businesses, so I'm an entrepreneur as well.
- 5:15I guess you would say it's in the blood, and I love people
- 5:20and a bun sir, and I believe that the call of my life is
- 5:25to bring positive change with love and unity in the earth. That's who I
- 5:30am. I love it, and I love your spirit, I love your
- 5:35energy. I know that you are a serial entrepreneur, and believe me,
- 5:42we're going to get into everything. But the first thing I want to talk
- 5:46about, the most important thing I want to talk about, is the work
- 5:48that you are doing. We've all seen well growing up as a kid.
- 5:54We should see the commercial with six o'clock Do you know where your children are?
- 5:59Right? And that's something that that's something that many of us never really
- 6:02paid attention to, and it's something that they don't play today. But in
- 6:06this day a time, we can't afford not to know where our children are
- 6:12from all the evil and the wickedness that is upon the earth. So I
- 6:15know that you are very hands on and very involved with a very special project.
- 6:20Can you tell us about that? Well, that project is to help
- 6:25me save our girls from abuse and human trafficking. The abuse can be sexual
- 6:33or physical, within a home or outside of a home. A lot of
- 6:42people don't believe that human trafficking is all that serious. So can you tell
- 6:46me how serious it is today? It is very seriousness. What's important is
- 6:54that people have to wait as a nation has to become aware. And the
- 7:00hairedness is that the business of human trafficking is illegal, but it is taking
- 7:05place globally and it's anywhere from twenty seven to forty six million adults and children
- 7:14are being abused are being trafficked in the world today for money and for personal
- 7:20gain for the trafficer. Wow, that's scary. I know. I have
- 7:28five daughters, and I know. Um I'm here now in North Carolina,
- 7:32and I know the mall, the Favor of More to the Cross Creek Mall
- 7:39has reportings of young women and young and young men being snatched and taken away.
- 7:45And that's something very scary because I have a young daughter who is soon
- 7:48to turn twenty one, and she she travels a lot of Well, I'm
- 7:53not gonna say anything like that. I ain't gonna put it in the air
- 7:57because hey man, I caught myself. But listen, can you tell me
- 8:01how you got involved in this work. I after being nominated as Mother of
- 8:07the Year from Mississippi, I was asked to do this because I'm a pastoral
- 8:13counselor, and I in the communities where I lived in Maryland as well as
- 8:20the teenagers and the children would gravitate to me because I had a childcare business
- 8:31in Maryland, so a lot of the single mothers had encountered this netrocity of
- 8:37abuse and you know, being raped or molested or domestic violence, and I
- 8:46would nourish their children to feel safe and loved because these are the things that
- 8:54were encountered in it in the home, and it can be very frightening for
- 9:01children. They don't understand what's actually happening until they become a victim of the
- 9:09abuse and the rape or the insects or whatever I mean. And that's how
- 9:18I really got into it. I saw the needs that there needs to be
- 9:22changed and information given to families and globally, whether on the streets or in
- 9:30the malls or restaurants backyards. And one of the favorite books that I have
- 9:37read on this is in our backyards is happening. It could be next door
- 9:43and you're not aware. So my goal is to make people aware to what's
- 9:48to watch for to keep people from being trafficked and taken. That is awesome
- 9:56information and once again, I salute you and I applodic for the work that
- 10:00you do. I know sometimes it could be tedious and maybe perhaps overwhelming,
- 10:05and one of my questions would be how is the success rate and returning our
- 10:13children back home to their loved ones if we make them aware and even though
- 10:20you're depending on sometimes economic status is and the background or the makeup the audience.
- 10:26I believe the more we educate, the more we train and expose and
- 10:33give them techniques and steps what to watch for. Something just as simple,
- 10:39never be alone and form your loved ones where you're going and give a set
- 10:46time to come back. Observe those that may be following you or watching you.
- 10:54And there are other things that can be done as well as some gadgets
- 11:01that you can put as far as the bob, you can put on a
- 11:05key change. If you're in danger, you can press it and it makes
- 11:07loud noise. Some people use the pepper spray, but when it's more than
- 11:13one perpetrator attacking you, sometimes that can be very difficult. But as I
- 11:18said, the more information, the more training that we have and to expose,
- 11:24whether in churches, whether in social groups, whether meeting in homes.
- 11:31We keeps this. I believe we can shut this down, but it has
- 11:35to be done globally. I agree, and I thank you, and I
- 11:41thank you for the information that you just shared. And we're gonna take our
- 11:45commercial break and we're gonna come back with more. Doctor Vivian Cymore, welcome,
- 12:24Welcome back. I am your old doctor Erica Tmore, and I am
- 12:28here with doctor Vivian C. Moore, and we're talking about the silent Killer,
- 12:33something that is going on worldwide globally that a lot of people have been
- 12:37ignoring. So, doctor Vivian, we've just seen your video. Can you
- 12:41explain to us what's going on in that video and what's it about. Well,
- 12:48usually trafficking starts between the fifth grade and the twelfth grade, or you
- 12:52can say twelve years old up until eighteen. So we live in a world
- 12:58where all times the children what I call latchkey kids, they take the key
- 13:05and go home, and they're not noticing if someone is following them. All
- 13:11they're trying to do is leave school, walk home. But we have to
- 13:15inform the parents. Even though you may be a single father a single mother,
- 13:20you must have some steps in place to teach them. You don't walk
- 13:26home alone. If someone says that I sent them for you know, you
- 13:33stay there and call the police and just simple things. But it has to
- 13:37be a community inform looking out for one another. Your neighbors looking out for
- 13:46your children, you look out for their children as well. And still groups
- 13:50are better than single And the other thing when children withdraw, you need to
- 13:58have parents need to have a communication line open at all times where they can
- 14:03feel free to come and talk to the parents, and the parents need to
- 14:09guard the phone to see who they're talking to with the apps and put a
- 14:18block on it so they can't get ahold of these perpetrators that are luring children
- 14:24to meet them. I agree. I remember growing up as a latch key.
- 14:31I was fortunate enough up until was thirteen to have both parents in the
- 14:35household. And the one thing that we was told early on because our parents
- 14:39worked, is that you'll come home together. So be telling people you hold
- 14:43alone, don't don't be volunteering information. You get home, you'll come home
- 14:48together. You get inside, you lock that door, and then you make
- 14:52a phone call to let us know that you're home. That's a pattern.
- 14:54And also I come from the area where the community the neighbors. We all
- 14:58worked, we all looked out for each other. But today I find it
- 15:03that a lot of a lot of parents is like, mind your business.
- 15:07My child is not your business. What's going on with my child is none
- 15:11of your business. And that can be very hurtful in the long run,
- 15:13because you never know when you're gonna need that. You know, miss Belinda
- 15:18that knows the neighbor they call them who see well, I saw them leave
- 15:22with five men. It's very important. And back in the day we had
- 15:26a system, but today it's like, hey, you can't tell me what
- 15:30to do with my children. So again, what would you say to the
- 15:35parents today, especially the younger parents, what would you say to them about
- 15:39safety and guarding the wellbeing of their children. Well, I would say to
- 15:46the mothers, the single mothers, don't bring a wolf in your home.
- 15:52Come on, because you're intiments with that person. You really don't know that
- 15:56person. And if that son doesn't have a place to live on their own,
- 16:02they shouldn't live with you and your children. Number one. Those fathers
- 16:08that I would say a very strong and integrity should protect their children, both
- 16:15girls and boys. Even though I'm working more with girls now, Yet we
- 16:22need fathers to return to the children. It make a throw through a divorce.
- 16:26It may be that the family is separated, but we need strong parents
- 16:33that set I call instructions in place to protect their children, and they need
- 16:44to surprise their children every now and then. See, you're going into my
- 16:49next question. You're going into my next question because but just about to ask
- 16:55you. Should we respect our children privacy to a point. If they're dressing,
- 17:03yes, you need to. You need to see, you need to
- 17:11pay attention when the attitude changed. Yes, if someone is showing up unannounced,
- 17:18they're changing clothes, they're leaving home one way, and they have clothes
- 17:22in their book bags. So you need to be the sergeant of arms and
- 17:25check everything and then be the lad when you get that auction or intuition that
- 17:32something is going on, you should be able to go to the school to
- 17:34check and see if the child is there. And if they're not in school,
- 17:41you need to find out where they are immediately. Agree will teach We
- 17:47will teach techniques to teach you how to find your child. See, I'm
- 17:52one of those parents. I have five daughters, So in my household,
- 17:56there was no privacy, There was no lock in doors or closing doors.
- 18:00Those are my doors, These are my bleholes. This is my house because
- 18:04I understood as a single mother. I understood as my mother as a single
- 18:08mother. She didn't play that in her household. I'm not gonna play that
- 18:12in my household because I need to know where you are. There's no such
- 18:15thing. You're going over to your friend's house that I don't know. And
- 18:21here's another thing that I used to do. Your your cell phone at a
- 18:25certain time, because we had order and we had bedtime at a certain time,
- 18:29give me your phone, as as as my people, as my elders
- 18:33would say, bring me, run me that phone, rung me that phone,
- 18:37me give it here. Who was my phone? No, it was
- 18:40my phone. As long as I pay the bill, it's my phone.
- 18:42Because I need to know who you're talking to, because a lot of a
- 18:45lot of young teenagers are talking to people who they think like because you talk
- 18:52about the book, you know, they think they're talking to people that are
- 18:55They're aging their friends and they got these little nice que profile pictures. But
- 18:59then when a grown ma'am shows up and kidnaps you, they're gone forever.
- 19:04And because mom didn't know her friends because mom didn't get into her privacy.
- 19:11Mom don't know what to say to the police to help them find their daughters
- 19:17and sons, especially in the first forty eight hours. So I'm gonna ask
- 19:21you that question again. I'm gonna rephrase it this way. Shouldn't parents be
- 19:25nosy because it's not popularity. My mother wasn't and my friend he made that
- 19:30clear, I'm not your friend. So should parents go the extra nine yard
- 19:37to secure and make sure that they know what's going on in their children's lives?
- 19:44Well, yes, I agree. And the other thing that I said
- 19:47was single moms that and some change their ways. I said, you left
- 19:52the wolf in the house, And I said, if you let the person
- 19:56in the house, you don't know the person because you're intimate with them,
- 20:00You being intimite, it doesn't know the person's character. And we're teaching some
- 20:04of the teenagers unfortunately that at night, if it's not the person is not
- 20:11their natural father, is to lock their doors at night when they sleep.
- 20:15Yeah, okay, and yes, and if any what I call the if
- 20:23ever the child feels uncomfortable, they are to say something with their mother,
- 20:29even if they don't agree or go to a school counselor and say this is
- 20:33what I feel and I'm afraid to be alone. Hey, it doesn't it
- 20:38doesn't hurt to be too cautious. It doesn't hurt, because when a wolf
- 20:45is in your home, you have to pay attention, and you have to
- 20:48teach the child to pay attention. Sometimes the mother feels as if she needs
- 20:52someone in her life, and they move it. And it's not that they
- 20:55don't love the children. They're just making the wrong mistake. It is better
- 20:59for them to date outside the house and leave their home as the castle of
- 21:03safety in their home. I agree. I know you and I have talked,
- 21:08and you have counseled, and you have share lots of things. And
- 21:14I want to ask you, how important is the father present, the natural
- 21:19father, you know, the biological father. How important is his presence in
- 21:26the children's lives. It is so dynamic and it's so necessary because that child
- 21:33needs the structure. First of all, that girl needs the father's love.
- 21:38And the father is to teach that girl how she is to be treated.
- 21:45And the sons are taught to be good fathers. Ye, that's love and
- 21:51prepared. So they need to be prepared both ways. When a father is
- 21:55missing, it affects the children greatly. It's not that the mother does and
- 22:00love them. But a woman can teach a male child right from wrong,
- 22:04but she can't teach them how to be a man. That's right. The
- 22:08father mothers can teach their daughters how to be mothers and strong women. You
- 22:18know, to make up in your mind, just don't settle for anything.
- 22:21And that's what's happening in the world today, the absentee of fathers and sometimes
- 22:26mothers. But if the fathers will take a stand. I made a suggestion,
- 22:32and when when everything starts changing in the schools, I made a suggestion
- 22:37to my son that's carrying on new beginning there. I said, you as
- 22:44fathers, you work around men. You get you get fathers to go around
- 22:49that school and pray for that school before it opens. So the shooting,
- 22:56the bomb threats, the bullying and everything that goes a lot of times bullying
- 23:03gets girls raped and boys raped, bullying, intimidation, And I said,
- 23:08you pray around that school, And I said, what do you do with
- 23:11that school? God would do it globally. So they did that before they
- 23:18opened the school and they haven't had any more incidents. From that, we
- 23:22must take a stand. We must care. We need actions that I see
- 23:30something. Sn't be afraid that right person gets angry with you, are offended.
- 23:37You can always say I'm looking out for you and I'm looking out for
- 23:41your children. This is what I see. I appreciate you for that.
- 23:47I've learned so much from you, and I'm just truly just in awe of
- 23:52all that you do. I know you are getting ready this week to leave
- 23:57to receive the award. I want to talk about the ward real quick.
- 24:03I want to talk about the word. But before we talk about the ward,
- 24:06I just want to ask you about success rates. How is the organization
- 24:11the work you're doing. Have you been successful in reuniting with children back home
- 24:17where they belong? Us about the ward? Okay, the reward for American
- 24:23mothers that are bringing change. I'm implementing a program that in our backyard is
- 24:32implementing for the book. So whereas you teach the teenagers, we're using the
- 24:37Boys and Girls Club that's in the future when I get back, we're going
- 24:41to use the Boys and Girls Club for training for how to protect themselves,
- 24:47training making them aware how to use certain instruments to protect him and how what's
- 24:56available out there for families to track their children, to know where they are
- 25:03without them even knowing. There are things that we can do and we need
- 25:08to, especially in the poverty area where children and mothers sometimes fathers become victims
- 25:18of rape and incests. We can do this. This is a mission project.
- 25:26I call it Mississippi God Blessed Community Project. That's what I call it
- 25:32because I believe once it's confronted, this spirit is confronted, and we worked
- 25:41together like we when we were children and our parents were children, when they
- 25:45cared, the community came together. I'm preparing a petition to go through the
- 25:51city of Tupelo, Okay to get help. I need volunteers. Are you
- 25:59willing to cover your streets, willing to cover your next door neighbor? Are
- 26:04you willing to inform the police when you see something's happening or even if the
- 26:10parent is not there or they don't understand. Are you willing to call child
- 26:15PEC Text services if need be this is what I see? Or are you
- 26:19willing to be to help your neighbor, maybe pick pick up the children with
- 26:26your children to bring them home. We have to work together to make this
- 26:32happen. I know that in the strict I'm sorry, I know in the
- 26:37streets they have a no snitche rule. What would you say to the person
- 26:42who knows something that they can possibly save someone's life, but because of the
- 26:48street cold and they don't want to be known as a snitch, so they
- 26:51rather say nothing. What would you say to the people who will buy by
- 26:56the no snitch, no snitching? Okay, the no snitch code is no
- 27:04integrity, noever, and snide is that it's been trained to put fear and
- 27:12intimination in the person. Yeah, give the person example. If this was
- 27:18you, would you want somebody to help you if you were in trouble,
- 27:26or your mother, or your sister or your brother. So what's more important
- 27:34you not saying anything or you lose the best part of your life, one
- 27:40of your family members or maybe your best friend. Yes, and I said,
- 27:45I'm giving you something to think about. And this quote that I give
- 27:48often, the decision you make determines your reward. The decision that you make
- 27:56affects not only you, but all that's connected to you and that are around
- 28:03you. I love that. Doctor. We have time for one quick last
- 28:10question, and I know that you are very spiritual. I know that you
- 28:14are a woman of God. You have been a blessing and to me,
- 28:15you have spoken to my life prophetically, and I definitely appreciate you in honoring
- 28:22you. But for the church, the church, you know, it's like
- 28:26a taboo if you if I can say that and be okay, we can
- 28:30talk about certain things, but we can't talk about molestation, we can't talk
- 28:34about human trafficking, We can't talk about things like that. So the church
- 28:40in your communities, are they helpful? Are they hinderance? Hinderances? Because
- 28:48and most of the churches, from what I see and an accounter, it's
- 28:51all about the dollar. Yeah, okay, it's all about the dollar.
- 28:56And come on, people don't have many churches talking about self control, which
- 29:02is one of the fruit of the spirit. You don't have many churches talking
- 29:06about fornication and adultery. Sexual perversion is sexual perversion, well as whether it's
- 29:12LGDP, whether it's beast allergy, whether it's lesbian, is a homosexuality,
- 29:18it's still all considered evil. Yes, we love everybody, but God doesn't
- 29:25love sin. He gave his son to die for us for sin until and
- 29:32those of us that are Christians ignoring this, We are doing a terrible dishonor
- 29:40to the body of Christ. Yes, there should be sessions talking about premarital
- 29:48marriage. When I was children. When I was children, my father sat
- 29:52down and told us biblically what was evil, what was good concerning that area.
- 30:00And there's another quote that I say, it's more important what's above the
- 30:04belt than what's below the belt. I like that below the belt is out
- 30:10of order. It causes you a lot of problems. Everybody is infected that
- 30:17come together and great spiritual principles. I thank you, doctor Vivien. That
- 30:25was awesome. We are out of time and I just want to say,
- 30:29I gotta get you back. We got we gotta, I gotta, I
- 30:30gotta you know, get with your calendar, get some dates. We gotta
- 30:34have you bad because there's so much more to this topic and we need to
- 30:40be aware and educated. So before we go, please tell the people how
- 30:45they can get in touch with you on Facebook. You can look for me
- 30:51is viviancy More telephone number three zero one four six one seven nine seven five.
- 31:00Please leave a message if even if I don't answer, I will call
- 31:03you back. And the email that I'd like for you to use its V
- 31:08for Victor, C for cat Am, for Mary, O for oscar,
- 31:15O for oscar Are for ron E for egg three eight at gmail dot com.
- 31:23We thank you so much, doctor Vivian once again for finding and not
- 31:27robbery, but to bless us here at Average Joint. I'm more than a
- 31:30woman podcast and I'm looking forward to our talks and I'm looking forward to talking
- 31:37with you real soon. Be blessing. I thank you for joining us.
- 31:41We love you, and as we bring this show to a close, I'm
- 31:48gonna share with you. I opened up and I begin with hope's not doubting,
- 31:52but trusting the process. We just heard from the Woman of God,
- 31:56the obstacles that she is facing, but because she believed, and the work
- 32:00that she's doing, because she is spiritual, and because she believes in safety
- 32:06and humanity for everyone, not just her family and friends, but ours,
- 32:12yours. Because you never know who's affected by these things, we cannot be
- 32:15discouraged and we cannot doubt when God is giving you an assignment, when you
- 32:21have a call on your life, because you can go places where many cannot
- 32:24go. You have to go. You can't trust you can't trust what it
- 32:29looks like, but you have to trust the process. You have to know
