Here in Connecticut, we were rocked by the death of Darik Pearson of Darik and the Funbags. He was so young and just died this month after a 6-year battle with prostate cancer. We spoke with Dr. Phil Gilbo of Nuvance Health about why prostate cancer is being detected in more people 45 years old and younger. Meanwhile, another cancer is also impacting more younger men: colon cancer. We spoke with colorectal surgeon, Dr. Marc Casasanta, from Northwell Health about this too.
