- 0:00SPEAKER_01: Hi guys, welcome back to another episode of Skincare Anarchy.
- 0:03SPEAKER_01: This is your host, Ecta, and I have such a wonderful guest with me today.
- 0:07SPEAKER_01: I am a huge fan of this brand new hair care line that I've discovered recently.
- 0:11SPEAKER_01: I've been using it pretty religiously, and it's done wonders for my scalp, for my hair, and I just can't wait to introduce you guys.
- 0:19SPEAKER_01: So without further ado, I want to introduce you guys to Safira, who is the founder of uh Sophia Haircare.
- 0:24SPEAKER_01: Welcome to the show.
- 0:25SPEAKER_01: Sophia, I'm so excited to be hosting you.
- 0:27SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh, thank you for having me.
- 0:30SPEAKER_00: I was like watching everything that you do on Instagram, and I'm so amazed.
- 0:34SPEAKER_00: So I'm so honored to be here.
- 0:36SPEAKER_00: Congratulations.
- 0:37SPEAKER_01: Thank you so much.
- 0:38SPEAKER_01: And likewise, uh, for your amazing, amazing hair care line.
- 0:42SPEAKER_01: I'm really in love with it.
- 0:43SPEAKER_01: And I can't wait to learn all about you know what went into it, but I want to learn about you first and your background and what led to the creation of the brand.
- 0:50SPEAKER_01: If you could walk us down memory lane.
- 0:52SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh.
- 0:53SPEAKER_00: Okay, I would love to.
- 0:55SPEAKER_00: So my background's in positive psychology, um, which I love and I still, you know, very into it.
- 1:02SPEAKER_00: Um when I was studying positive psychology, I was working specifically with an organization called Strong Women, Strong Girls.
- 1:10SPEAKER_00: Um, it was founded at in Boston at Harvard University.
- 1:14SPEAKER_00: I did not go to Harvard, but I was a very different school.
- 1:19SPEAKER_00: Um, and even though I think it's amazing whoever got in, but that wasn't me growing up.
- 1:24SPEAKER_00: And um, I took that organization and placed it into um different homes where children are court ordered to uh leave their family because of abusive reasons, usually.
- 1:38SPEAKER_00: Um, and I was helping young girls um just have empowerment programming.
- 1:44SPEAKER_00: So, how can we have lessons about women in history who have made differences and grow from that as a child?
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: So we learn about a woman who did something amazing, and it could be in present day as well, and then we do an activity.
- 2:01SPEAKER_00: So I don't know if people know, but there's this wonderful woman who actually she created the whole um school system and municipality system in the state of Florida and really set up many cities and how it would be arranged.
- 2:17SPEAKER_00: So with the girls, after we learned her bio, then we build the school or another school made out of recycling, any kind of recycling, bottles, things.
- 2:27SPEAKER_00: And the same thing goes with politics.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: If we're learning about a woman, um, we teach them how about, you know, saying how you feel is so important and a debate and you know, believing in yourself to speak your mind and speak what you feel and not being embarrassed.
- 2:42SPEAKER_00: So we have many, many lessons.
- 2:44SPEAKER_00: Um, I'm currently not with the organization anymore, but that was really my roots.
- 2:49SPEAKER_00: And then I met a guy who was in the beauty industry, and I quickly learned from going to different hair shows all over the world that um there were really only men in this hair industry in beauty, um, especially in the manufacturing side.
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: And I would sit there, you know, and just listen to these men in very nice suits who would talk about women's hair.
- 3:15SPEAKER_00: And I found that like, what a joke.
- 3:18SPEAKER_00: What is this?
- 3:19SPEAKER_00: You're not a woman.
- 3:20SPEAKER_00: How could you like create products and understand what I'm feeling?
- 3:26SPEAKER_00: Like we're just so different.
- 3:28SPEAKER_00: So um I then married that man who took me to these beauty shows, and together we took our wedding money and created Sephira.
- 3:38SPEAKER_00: And the Sapphira brand, the envision, and it still is, you know, one of our pillars is how we can use positive psychology through our marketing and how we can use our minerals because we are a 26 mineral hair care line and help women feel good inside and out.
- 3:58SPEAKER_00: So it's been it's about almost 13 years now since the company began.
- 4:04SPEAKER_00: Um, and it's you know, started in our basement.
- 4:07SPEAKER_00: We had just enough money to make four products, and we made maybe only 500 units of each and hired a chemist because that was the most important part is how we can make a healing hair care line and how these minerals really work to help people going through struggles and strengthen their hair and their scalp.
- 4:28SPEAKER_01: I love that.
- 4:28SPEAKER_01: And I want to just say, you know, truly hats off for you know, just the wonderful work because I think when we talk about you really hit it on the uh the nail on the head when you said that men don't know much about women's hair.
- 4:41SPEAKER_01: Or, you know, it's a little funny to watch them, right?
- 4:44SPEAKER_01: Figure out what's up with our hair and how to treat it.
- 4:47SPEAKER_01: And what I find to be really interesting is this um, the you know, positive psychology portion of this because hair is so tied, as I'm sure you know, to how women, how we perceive ourselves, how we feel about ourselves, you know, when we talk about beauty and the whole um what makes us feel beautiful, you know what I mean?
- 5:05SPEAKER_01: Like hair is such an integral part of that.
- 5:07SPEAKER_01: And yeah, I mean, I I completely resonated with what you were saying, you know, seeing a bunch of men sitting around trying to figure out what does a woman need for her hair.
- 5:16SPEAKER_01: You can't, you just possibly can, you cannot answer that question if you're a male.
- 5:20SPEAKER_01: There's no way to do it.
- 5:21SPEAKER_01: You know, and there's no hate against men.
- 5:23SPEAKER_01: I mean, there's a lot of really brilliant men out there in the beauty industry, but when it comes to certain things, like it's very important to acknowledge that there is a psychology, you know, that needs to be addressed for consumers, you know, and and a lot of that has to do with experience.
- 5:37SPEAKER_01: And women have that experience when it comes to our hair and what we want and how we want it to feel and all that.
- 5:42SPEAKER_01: So I think that's wonderful that you identified that.
- 5:45SPEAKER_01: It's really cool.
- 5:46SPEAKER_00: A hundred percent.
- 5:47SPEAKER_00: And even like if people don't know and are listening, you know, the first thing that's affected in your life and in your physical body when you're going through emotional stress is your hair begins to fall out and your nails become weak.
- 6:01SPEAKER_00: And anybody who's, you know, going through postpartum or really just had a baby, it's such an emotional roller coaster for all of us women.
- 6:11SPEAKER_00: And your hair, clumps of it fall out.
- 6:13SPEAKER_00: I mean, we all go through it.
- 6:15SPEAKER_00: And it just shows how important it is to use healthy healing hair care products because we really focus on how we can help women feel stronger and more empowered through having awesome, healthy, strong scalp and hair.
- 6:31SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 6:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah, absolutely.
- 6:33SPEAKER_01: And I think uh you really read my mind with the postpartum because I was actually gonna bring that up.
- 6:37SPEAKER_01: You know, I think um right now we're seeing such an interesting time in the in the hair care industry because we're finally talking about topics like alopecia, hair fall, you know, like all of these things that women have been going through for so long.
- 6:50SPEAKER_01: I think, you know, Sophia, I was reading an article the other day about um, you know, a celebrity and she was actually being very vocal about menopause and like, you know, perimenopause and just talking about the changes that she went through.
- 7:02SPEAKER_01: And one of the things that stood out to me was that hair loss, you know, and how it stood out because we're never talking about it, you know, and we're never putting it out there for women to finally come into this feeling of I'm comfortable talking about these things and you know, resonating with what other women are saying.
- 7:18SPEAKER_01: So it's really like creating a safe space around hair care.
- 7:21SPEAKER_01: So I just find it to be, you know, I find it to be a really, really important area, you know, that needs to be discussed in this industry, is is that.
- 7:29SPEAKER_00: So no, I'm so right.
- 7:32SPEAKER_00: You're because listen, I mean, we all focus on our skincare, you know, we always want the best for our skin, but we forget because it's never hair care has always been like the cool industry, you know.
- 7:44SPEAKER_00: You want that cool bottle, you want the cool look, which hairstylist is behind it that looks cool.
- 7:51SPEAKER_00: It's a different field than going into you know what skincare products you're using.
- 7:56SPEAKER_00: So I think we really are trying to address the point of we can really help you develop a healthy scalp.
- 8:05SPEAKER_00: So it's a very different, you know, compared to the other hair care brands that have been in the industry for so many years.
- 8:12SPEAKER_01: Yeah, absolutely.
- 8:13SPEAKER_01: And I want to actually dive into that because although it is different, there's so much science here and there's so much information that needs to be understood, especially when it comes to scalp health.
- 8:22SPEAKER_01: And I know you had mentioned you guys have a 26 mineral approach to your line.
- 8:26SPEAKER_01: And I love that.
- 8:27SPEAKER_01: And that's I I couldn't wait to talk to you because my hair has been absolutely loving the products.
- 8:32SPEAKER_01: Um, you know, they're just so good for anybody, even if you're you're listening in and you have like really curly hair, like it doesn't matter what your hair texture is, they're just really great products for nourishing your scalp, for nourishing your hair and you know, giving it what it needs.
- 8:47SPEAKER_01: So I want to talk about that, Safira, and like what really led to, you know, you guys utilizing this approach, you know, the 26 minerals.
- 8:54SPEAKER_01: Um, where did the idea stem from?
- 8:56SPEAKER_00: So I did spend time at the Dead Sea, always heard people flying, you know, to go into the Dead Sea and experience the minerals um and how people really found their skin to be healthier after they went in.
- 9:10SPEAKER_00: And I think even like doctors sometimes prescribe and say you need to go to the fly to the Dead Sea because your skin needs it.
- 9:18SPEAKER_00: So I when I remembered that and I was trying to think of a line that would help people, um, it immediately clicked that one, no one's done it before.
- 9:28SPEAKER_00: No one has ever taken the 26 minerals and put it in a bottle for hair.
- 9:34SPEAKER_00: It's just skincare.
- 9:35SPEAKER_00: And I was like, wait, but we know that Cleopatra even would dip in the Dead Sea thousands of years ago because she wanted healthy, glowing skin.
- 9:45SPEAKER_00: So why has it never been converted into like, let's see what we could do for hair?
- 9:51SPEAKER_00: And so that was really what happened.
- 9:53SPEAKER_00: And we did different, you know, test studies.
- 9:57SPEAKER_00: And immediately when we brought the product out with having zero marketing dollars, because again, this was just my wedding money and starting something new, and I was still doing positive psychology at the time.
- 10:09SPEAKER_00: So, what we saw was the testimonials, people writing to us that they used our mineral mud on their son who has eczema on his scalp and on his um arms, and he was only eight years old.
- 10:23SPEAKER_00: And every night this child would scratch and scratch and have bloody sheets.
- 10:27SPEAKER_00: And the mother wrote this most beautiful letter thanking us that our mud has soothed his skin and he no longer itches at night.
- 10:36SPEAKER_00: And it was these kind of testimonials, and I can tell you, time I just spoke to the beauty director from L Magazine, Danielle James, and she said, Safira, my friends and my family cannot believe the things that are happening to their scalp.
- 10:53SPEAKER_00: I mean, things are just clearing up.
- 10:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and so it's just it's been such an amazing journey to see how we can touch lives through beauty.
- 11:05SPEAKER_00: It's unbelievable.
- 11:06SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no, I mean, it's genuinely also like creating a truly meaningful product, I feel like in today's landscape too, Severa.
- 11:14SPEAKER_01: Like, I feel like I I interview so many brands and I love the brands that we interview, but there's a lot of stuff out here, you know, and it's really hard to follow claims nowadays.
- 11:25SPEAKER_01: You know what I mean?
- 11:25SPEAKER_01: Like in terms of what is you know, scalp health.
- 11:28SPEAKER_01: I mean, I feel like sometimes with marketing, and I'm I'm I'm actually glad 100%, you know what I mean?
- 11:34SPEAKER_01: Like you didn't go, I'm glad you didn't go a ham on your marketing because I feel like a good product in the way that things are right now is really gonna stand out like a gem.
- 11:43SPEAKER_01: And I and I really have seen that time and time again because people take things like scalp health, right?
- 11:49SPEAKER_01: And they turn it into this marketing buzzword, and then all of a sudden you have 15 lines that popped out of the ground, you know, and like it's all about scalp health, but that's just not it.
- 11:59SPEAKER_01: You know, it really does matter, like that there's genuine thought here, you know, and you've thought about well, these minerals are clearly helping, you know, they've been helping for many years.
- 12:09SPEAKER_01: You know, people have recorded the value of them.
- 12:12SPEAKER_01: I mean, that's what it takes to create something truly meaningful.
- 12:15SPEAKER_01: And I think when you use the line, you know, for anyone listening that hasn't tried it, you know, when you use the the products, it really immediately stands out to you.
- 12:23SPEAKER_01: You know, it's something you can notice, you can feel it, your scalp will feel healthier, and it's just you know, it's automatic.
- 12:29SPEAKER_01: So I'm I'm a huge fan.
- 12:30SPEAKER_01: I think you really hit it with this one.
- 12:32SPEAKER_00: So thank you.
- 12:34SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
- 12:35SPEAKER_01: No, I want to ask you, like when you guys were like actually formulating, like how was that?
- 12:40SPEAKER_01: I mean, it must have been difficult to get all 26 minerals and uh get them into a formulation, or was that hard?
- 12:47SPEAKER_00: So it's actually not um, it is difficult, but you go through a process to get approved, and we're able to source the minerals from, you know, we're we ourselves can't buy or dig minerals in the Dead Sea, but you buy it through uh a manufacturer or a different company, and then we use that as one of our main raw materials when it comes to making all of our products.
- 13:12SPEAKER_00: So it's something that definitely in the beginning, you know, it was a challenge, and everything was a challenge because you're starting a brand new company and you have to figure out everything by yourself.
- 13:23SPEAKER_00: Um, and everything, you know, is it's just you're on your own, baby.
- 13:27SPEAKER_00: So uh yeah, in the beginning it was a challenge.
- 13:31SPEAKER_00: Um, and it takes it took meat a long time to get into a groove of manufacturing, operations, the warehouse.
- 13:41SPEAKER_00: I mean, it takes time when you've never done it before.
- 13:44SPEAKER_00: So again, when I say, you know, we've been doing this for almost 13 years, I can really say that everything is so well mapped out, you know, and someone places an order, their order is shipped out that same day.
- 13:56SPEAKER_00: Like we're very good now.
- 13:58SPEAKER_00: We've got it all, we've got it together.
- 14:00SPEAKER_00: But in the beginning, of course, sourcing those minerals, everything was was a challenge because you're on your own and it's the first time.
- 14:07SPEAKER_00: And, you know, it's just it's like a just a business that you have to learn.
- 14:13SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you have to kind of figure it out.
- 14:14SPEAKER_01: And but that's that's good to know though, that you know, you can get them.
- 14:17SPEAKER_01: And I I ask these questions because there's so many like people out there that want to know, you know, like where do these ingredients come from?
- 14:24SPEAKER_01: We have people reach out every day, I could you not, and they're like, Well, how do you know that this is in there?
- 14:28SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, Well, that's just manufacturing, you know.
- 14:31SPEAKER_01: So I I always ask these questions because of that.
- 14:35SPEAKER_01: But I think it's really it's really neat what you guys have done.
- 14:38SPEAKER_01: But I'm I'm curious still about, you know, when it comes to the scientific literature, I mean, was there a lot of stuff out there in terms of like papers and stuff that you were able to dive into when you were formulating and um trying to understand what the potential benefits could be?
- 14:52SPEAKER_01: Or um how did that work for you, that whole scientific process?
- 14:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so there are a few articles um that we did find from Harvard, from the NIH hospital, um, about the minerals helping.
- 15:06SPEAKER_00: Um, and we do quote them, let's say, in some of our you know, catalogs, um, explaining how cell division occurs and creates new hair straps, so things like that.
- 15:17SPEAKER_00: So we definitely um dig in.
- 15:20SPEAKER_00: Could be a little boring at some times, but we we do have great sources from the National Institute of Health and from Harvard of how minerals really can help your scalp to say why no one's done it before.
- 15:35SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 15:36SPEAKER_00: Sometimes I don't know.
- 15:38SPEAKER_00: I think we just got really lucky.
- 15:40SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no, I mean I asked I for that reason what you just said was because minerals I know, like just from like biology and like you read about a lot of um, you know, molecular pathways that they will eventually work on and then cause like long-term changes, you know what I mean?
- 15:57SPEAKER_01: And so it's really that's why I'm so interested because it's really like long-term scalp health that you guys are, you know, able to achieve with with something that contains 26 minerals in it.
- 16:08SPEAKER_01: I mean, I think that when we talk about scalp health, oftentimes I'm always seeing like, you know, it works for a week, right?
- 16:15SPEAKER_01: Or like it's super hydrating, so it'll work for that time that you used it, that product, but we're never discussing it in this long-term approach, which is how can we get rid of things like, you know, you had brought up eczema, but like for example, dandruff, right?
- 16:28SPEAKER_01: Or like dry down, especially with the winter months coming up.
- 16:31SPEAKER_01: How do you get to a point where now you're doing a preventative approach rather than just here it is, here's a quick fix, you know, is correct.
- 16:39SPEAKER_01: Yeah, like that's the whole for me that as a consumer, that's what I want to see hair care move in that direction.
- 16:45SPEAKER_01: And that's why it's very interesting, you know, that you're working with this many minerals because they are active, they're bioactive, you know.
- 16:51SPEAKER_01: So that's very cool.
- 16:52SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and I I definitely also want to mention that the the 26 minerals, they're all sourced from the lowest spot on earth.
- 17:01SPEAKER_00: So the Dead Sea is the lowest spot in the entire world.
- 17:05SPEAKER_00: And it's not like if you take calcium or magnesium, selenium, zinc from different parts of the world, you won't get the same effect.
- 17:14SPEAKER_00: It's because it's sourced at this spot.
- 17:17SPEAKER_00: And when you I'm, you know, whenever you go there and I bring beauty editors there, I bring tons of people to actually dig for the minerals.
- 17:26SPEAKER_00: We have a special trip where when you dig in the mud, and it this is like a very exclusive thing, it's not by any hotels.
- 17:34SPEAKER_00: It's we take a raft out, and you can see what Mother Nature creates, these beautiful square crystals that come out of the ground.
- 17:42SPEAKER_00: Can I tell you it's in our about us video where you see me holding one of them?
- 17:47SPEAKER_00: They're perfectly squared, like Mother Nature made these minerals perfectly cut square.
- 17:54SPEAKER_00: There's no edges that are broken off, they're perfect.
- 17:57SPEAKER_00: And it's so crazy to see that.
- 18:00SPEAKER_00: And it's just so raw.
- 18:02SPEAKER_00: And you can feel and see like this is the real deal.
- 18:06SPEAKER_00: Because if you take any of these minerals, like I said, from this mountain or your water sometimes has minerals, but it's because they're all sourced together from the same spot, the lowest spot on earth.
- 18:19SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's that's really cool though, that it's like, you know, I feel like nature is just it hasn't figured out, you know.
- 18:26SPEAKER_01: I just feel like the closer we go to nature and natural sources for some of the things we need, whether it's you know, beauty or even health, you know, and and drugs that we derive from nature, you're always gonna get something as close as possible to your normal physiology, and it's actually going to work with your physiology, you know.
- 18:43SPEAKER_01: So I that's really intriguing that they come out like that.
- 18:46SPEAKER_01: But I I want to ask you though, you know, I I think one of my biggest um questions with hair care, and it doesn't matter like what the brand is, it's really about, you know, for me, I wonder how like what would be your advice to somebody that says, you know, I want to fix my overall hair health, right?
- 19:04SPEAKER_01: Like people have different answers to this, but what would you say is like the most critical thing that you've noticed is, you know, resonating with your consumers when it comes to just overall good hair care, you know, good hair health.
- 19:15SPEAKER_00: Great question.
- 19:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 19:17SPEAKER_00: Um, so what we do is we create ritual in our in salons that the stylists will be using the products, but also rituals for the end consumer to take home.
- 19:26SPEAKER_00: So what it means is, you know, it's kind of a very a process that surrounds itself by we have Sephira gums.
- 19:36SPEAKER_00: Um, they're delicious, totally vegan.
- 19:39SPEAKER_00: And we have our minerals, of course, in them as well with other biotin, vitamin E, different things.
- 19:45SPEAKER_00: So we have a lot of extracts that go in.
- 19:48SPEAKER_00: So when you start your morning, you take your vitamin.
- 19:51SPEAKER_00: When you're ready to shower, you use the Saphira shampoo based on hair type.
- 19:56SPEAKER_00: We have many different families.
- 19:57SPEAKER_00: We have divine curls, we have hydrate, volume.
- 20:01SPEAKER_00: And then after conditioning, rinse out, use the mineral mud.
- 20:05SPEAKER_00: We have three different muds, but this is what put us on the map.
- 20:09SPEAKER_00: Again, the brand has grown really just from word of mouth and showing how it's so healing and helping people.
- 20:15SPEAKER_00: So the mineral mud was really, and also it was just chosen as best of hair in Ell's magazine's awards.
- 20:24SPEAKER_00: It won the award for best of hair because it's so healing and the results are instant.
- 20:31SPEAKER_00: So you gotta start.
- 20:32SPEAKER_00: I for me, if you want the full process, I take my gummies.
- 20:37SPEAKER_00: We have different gummies for different hair types, and then when I'm showering, I use the Sephir shampoo that fits for my hair, conditioner, and I rinse out with our mineral mud.
- 20:47SPEAKER_00: I use it every time I shower.
- 20:49SPEAKER_00: I mean, I don't take breaks.
- 20:51SPEAKER_00: Um, and my scalp is clean, it doesn't have any flakes.
- 20:56SPEAKER_00: And I used to have that.
- 20:57SPEAKER_00: And I have pictures, if you ever want to see it, of my hair growing up, and it was just such a mess.
- 21:04SPEAKER_00: I mean, but but you know, like I didn't know anything about hair care back then.
- 21:08SPEAKER_00: I was just like a positive psychology geek, you know?
- 21:11SPEAKER_00: And when I saw like my hair transform into like this soft, like this was crazy.
- 21:18SPEAKER_00: I couldn't believe I couldn't believe what we did.
- 21:20SPEAKER_00: So I have to say it's about having a real ritual and having a routine.
- 21:25SPEAKER_00: And your body and your health and your emotional state wants to have a routine.
- 21:30SPEAKER_00: People need routine for a healthy life, a healthy environment, an emotional state, a very, you know, those are all components.
- 21:39SPEAKER_00: So using the right shampoo conditioner, and then we go to our mineral mud, definitely, you know, that's the way to start off as a good ritual for hair health for sure.
- 21:50SPEAKER_01: I love that.
- 21:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah, the mud is uh it is phenomenal.
- 21:53SPEAKER_01: It's really phenomenal.
- 21:54SPEAKER_01: And I, you know, another product I really love is it's called the one for everyone.
- 22:00SPEAKER_01: It's a spray leave-in conditioner.
- 22:02SPEAKER_01: I swear by this product, Sephora, genuinely, like you have transformed my ritual because I love leave-in conditioners, you know, and I but I've always using like one or two max, you know, at one time.
- 22:12SPEAKER_01: But this has replaced them.
- 22:13SPEAKER_01: And I use it every day.
- 22:15SPEAKER_01: It's so lightweight.
- 22:16SPEAKER_01: And I'm really, really particular.
- 22:18SPEAKER_01: Like for me as a consumer, it's important that any leave-in that I use is not greasy or like you know, too oil-based.
- 22:24SPEAKER_01: And so this has been absolutely perfect.
- 22:27SPEAKER_01: Like it just leaves your hair super soft to the touch, but it also detangles it.
- 22:32SPEAKER_01: It like does all the things.
- 22:33SPEAKER_01: You know what I mean?
- 22:34SPEAKER_01: Like basically everything.
- 22:35SPEAKER_01: So if you're somebody like if anyone's like me, I don't style my hair.
- 22:39SPEAKER_01: Like I rarely get time to actually sit down with like a curling iron or or you know a blow dryer.
- 22:45SPEAKER_01: I don't do any of that.
- 22:46SPEAKER_01: So what I do is like a good leave-in and I go.
- 22:48SPEAKER_01: And what I found with this product is that once I spray it in, it actually helps my hair dry very beautifully naturally.
- 22:56SPEAKER_01: You know what I mean?
- 22:56SPEAKER_01: Like there's no frizz and flyaways and stuff.
- 22:59SPEAKER_01: So yeah, I love this one.
- 23:00SPEAKER_01: If you could tell us a little bit about the that product.
- 23:03SPEAKER_00: Yes, the one is our definitely our number two seller after the mineral mud.
- 23:09SPEAKER_00: The one, um, first of all, like it's everywhere in my house because we have I have four kids, and they literally will not let me brush their hair without this product, the one.
- 23:18SPEAKER_00: Um, because like you said, it's the best to tangler.
- 23:22SPEAKER_00: You literally will spray it in your hair and like just there's no tangles.
- 23:26SPEAKER_00: It's like, huh?
- 23:27SPEAKER_00: How did this happen?
- 23:28SPEAKER_00: Like, it just literally saves the situation.
- 23:31SPEAKER_00: And like what you said, everything we make is mineral water based.
- 23:36SPEAKER_00: So nothing is heavy.
- 23:37SPEAKER_00: And I get this question a lot, like from people who have oily hair, greasy hair, they don't want something to weigh it down, they don't want to feel the grease.
- 23:45SPEAKER_00: And I always try to explain to them like, we're a new concept in hair care, right?
- 23:51SPEAKER_00: So we're using real sources of healthy sources.
- 23:54SPEAKER_00: So even if people say, like, oh, the one is a leave-in, but guys, it's just infused with minerals, it's water-based, it's super light.
- 24:03SPEAKER_00: Like it just, I use it when my hair is dry and when it's wet.
- 24:07SPEAKER_00: And I'll never feel extra grease, I'll never feel anything heavy.
- 24:11SPEAKER_00: Um, so the one is definitely my go-to for my kids, for myself, for blow drying.
- 24:19SPEAKER_00: We even have hairstylists who um use the one and spray it in their hair color bowls so that when they're applying the color, they'll be able to get minerals into the cuticle before the cuticle is sealed.
- 24:31SPEAKER_00: So it's used for everything.
- 24:34SPEAKER_00: It's the best.
- 24:35SPEAKER_01: That's brilliant.
- 24:36SPEAKER_01: I love that.
- 24:36SPEAKER_01: Because I was actually gonna say, like, you know, I um I was doing a little bit of research like a while ago, and it was talking about how there's like brush, like when you're brushing your hair, right, or combing it, there's a lot of like stress on the actual hair strand.
- 24:48SPEAKER_01: And a good way to combat that is a good leave-in.
- 24:51SPEAKER_01: But the problem with most leave-ins is exactly what you said, uh, which is they're too heavy, you know, they weigh down your hair or like something about them, right?
- 25:00SPEAKER_01: Like the greasiness.
- 25:01SPEAKER_01: But honestly, if you really want to like prevent damage to your actual strands, having a great leave-in spray product is like absolutely I think a must.
- 25:12SPEAKER_01: You know, it's it's so so critical.
- 25:14SPEAKER_01: And this one is truly extraordinary.
- 25:15SPEAKER_01: It just does not do any of that stuff that we talked about.
- 25:18SPEAKER_01: So I love it.
- 25:19SPEAKER_01: I mean, I use it every day, and it's really, really wonderful.
- 25:21SPEAKER_01: And I have super long hair, so so I use it a lot.
- 25:25SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and I think, but when it comes to the Sephira brand, we have to think, remember, like, this is a new concept to hair products.
- 25:34SPEAKER_00: So remember, this is not the usual mask that you know, you're gonna get an oily um look on your hair.
- 25:40SPEAKER_00: It's not gonna feel like greasy.
- 25:43SPEAKER_00: This is brand new to the hair care world.
- 25:46SPEAKER_00: So you got to think out of the box with Sephira and really look at it as like, how am I creating a healing ritual for my hair and for my emotional well-being?
- 25:56SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 25:57SPEAKER_01: No, I absolutely love it.
- 25:58SPEAKER_01: And I love the whole line, you know.
- 26:00SPEAKER_01: Honestly, it's very, very like pleasant to incorporate into your routine.
- 26:04SPEAKER_01: I think that's one of the big pain points for me as a consumer sometimes, is like if I find that there is a white space in my own routine, you know, and how to fill that, that's always hard for me.
- 26:15SPEAKER_01: And I feel like with with your hair care line, it's been really nice to just know that here I'm using like say three products, right?
- 26:22SPEAKER_01: And those three products are doing whatever I need my hair to do.
- 26:26SPEAKER_01: And that's it, it just cuts down on so much stress, you know, as a consumer for me, to have something you can rely on, but you know you're actually taking care of your hair.
- 26:34SPEAKER_01: You know, it's not a quick fix, it's not a band-aid, you know, you're gonna actually be nourishing your scalp and your strands, and that's very, very important to me.
- 26:42SPEAKER_01: So I'm just I'm a huge fan.
- 26:44SPEAKER_01: I really think you've really nailed it.
- 26:46SPEAKER_01: And, you know, I I really encourage anyone listening.
