Transcript
- 0:01Stu does America.
- 0:06Got a big show coming up.
- 0:07Dave Landau is going to be here in a couple of minutes,
- 0:08which you know is going to be fun.
- 0:10But we're going to start by doing the Met Galala.
- 0:12Yes,
- 0:12it was a big night last night for all the rich people
- 0:16and
- 0:16the people that generally speaking,
- 0:17annoy you.
- 0:18Uh,
- 0:19then in 2025 Met Galala,
- 0:21the theme was superfine,
- 0:23tailoring black style.
- 0:25Explained,
- 0:26and you might say,
- 0:26wait a minute,
- 0:27do I need to have tailoring black style explained to me?
- 0:30I,
- 0:31I learned tons honestly today,
- 0:33much more than on a normal news day when we're talking about tax policy,
- 0:35which is stuff I've probably read 10,000 times.
- 0:37I had no idea what black dandyism was until today.
- 0:41So there you go,
- 0:42let me tell you what it is.
- 0:43The 2025 spring expedition is entitled
- 0:46Superfine Tailoring Black Style,
- 0:47and the accompanying dress was called
- 0:49Tailored for You.
- 0:51A 2025 theme explored black style and the history of dandyism.
- 0:55The exhibition was inspired by some book,
- 0:58Slaves of Slaves to Fashion,
- 1:01Black Dandyism,
- 1:02and the Styling of black diasporic Identity.
- 1:06I don't think there's actually any words that
- 1:08make sense in the English language there,
- 1:09but they of course have to explain it to you.
- 1:11Uh,
- 1:12post-emancipation,
- 1:13black Americans had a chance to reclaim their autonomy,
- 1:15paving the way for the Harlem Renaissance.
- 1:17From the 20s to 30s,
- 1:19neighborhood became a hub for black cultural expression.
- 1:22The Renaissance was a time of living and dressing boldly for Black Americans.
- 1:25Women donned furs and beaded dresses,
- 1:28while men experimented with tailored fabrics,
- 1:30billowing silhouettes and fedora hats.
- 1:32Yeah,
- 1:33I mean,
- 1:34honestly,
- 1:34of course there's part of this too that
- 1:35it's just a strange,
- 1:37strange,
- 1:37uh,
- 1:38choice to make.
- 1:38It,
- 1:39it feels like a throwback to
- 1:40like the ultra woke era of a few years ago where everyone just
- 1:44tried to beat each other to pander,
- 1:46pander more than anybody else.
- 1:48Kind of felt like what it was going,
- 1:49going on.
- 1:50We did get some breaking news though,
- 1:51um,
- 1:52Rihanna
- 1:53appeared to confirm her third pregnancy.
- 1:56At the Met Gala,
- 1:57I think this is funny because they say
- 1:59she seemed to confirm rumors she was pregnant
- 2:02when she met shouts of congratulations with thank you.
- 2:07Now,
- 2:08before we show this picture,
- 2:10uh,
- 2:10why would you say,
- 2:11like,
- 2:11they can't,
- 2:12the New York Times can't even say things they know are true.
- 2:14That's,
- 2:15that's how pathetic this is,
- 2:16they have to beat around the bush,
- 2:17they can't even tell you.
- 2:19If someone says congratulations to you and you say thank you,
- 2:21that's not a guarantee that you're pregnant,
- 2:23right?
- 2:24That could be a career achievement,
- 2:25it could be,
- 2:26hey,
- 2:26you look hot tonight,
- 2:27who knows?
- 2:28Now,
- 2:28this is what you looked like in the moment,
- 2:31which is.
- 2:32She looks freaking pregnant,
- 2:33I,
- 2:34you know,
- 2:34look,
- 2:35look maybe 60 to 70 months pregnant.
- 2:37She looks,
- 2:37uh,
- 2:38uh,
- 2:39pregnant.
- 2:40Everyone knows this.
- 2:43But the New York Times can't even tell you that it's true because,
- 2:46of course,
- 2:47uh,
- 2:48abortion,
- 2:48a longtime abortion advocate,
- 2:50um,
- 2:51uh,
- 2:51Rihanna is there and like you're not allowed to say it,
- 2:55but this is the problem,
- 2:56like
- 2:56when we see all this woke stuff happen,
- 2:58a lot of times they'll just kind of cancel the words and they'll say,
- 3:00they said a racial slur,
- 3:01and you don't even know what it was,
- 3:03and you can't judge the story because they won't tell you what
- 3:05the racial slur is because they don't want to say it,
- 3:07and it's like,
- 3:08you're supposed to be a news publication.
- 3:10It's pretty freaking obvious she's pregnant there.
- 3:12You can just say it.
- 3:14Unless she's wearing,
- 3:15I don't know,
- 3:15a,
- 3:15a false belly,
- 3:17I,
- 3:17which,
- 3:18who knows who would put it past her.
- 3:19Um,
- 3:20also,
- 3:21real star celebrities were there,
- 3:22not just like Rihanna,
- 3:24you know,
- 3:24not people like that,
- 3:26real celebrities like.
- 3:28Kamala Harris.
- 3:30Kamala Harris makes a surprise
- 3:32and quiet debut appearance
- 3:35at the Met
- 3:36Gala.
- 3:36Yes,
- 3:37it's true.
- 3:37Here's a picture,
- 3:38if you'd like to check it out from
- 3:40Cameron Smith photography,
- 3:42and they,
- 3:43I guess she could,
- 3:44I mean the reason why you need to,
- 3:45uh,
- 3:46there wasn't a zillion pictures of her is because she
- 3:47didn't go on the red carpet for whatever reason,
- 3:49maybe.
- 3:50You know,
- 3:50she doesn't want to necessarily be known as kind of the snobby person that goes to
- 3:54an event like this,
- 3:55you know,
- 3:56$75,000 a plate,
- 3:58you know,
- 3:58again,
- 3:58she doesn't pay that.
- 3:59The only the,
- 4:00the,
- 4:01the people that want to hang with the celebrities pay the $75,000.
- 4:04And there's,
- 4:05look,
- 4:05this is weird for me because like there's a ridiculous opulence to this event,
- 4:09right?
- 4:10It's way over the top.
- 4:11Everyone gets dressed up,
- 4:12they spend ridiculous amounts of money on their clothes,
- 4:14they,
- 4:15uh,
- 4:15it's this,
- 4:15you know,
- 4:16ridiculous night out.
- 4:17Um,
- 4:18and it is easy to mock.
- 4:19I will say though,
- 4:20I have no problem with rich people doing things they enjoy.
- 4:23You,
- 4:23you,
- 4:24you make a bunch of money,
- 4:25you want to go out there and have your big night,
- 4:27whatever.
- 4:28I'm fine with it.
- 4:29I don't have any problem with Elon Musk if he wanted to buy a $200 million yacht.
- 4:33I wouldn't be sitting here going,
- 4:34I can't believe this guy.
- 4:35Why?
- 4:36Because he's not going to turn around the next
- 4:37day and talk to me about income inequality.
- 4:39That's the problem here.
- 4:41Every person
- 4:42who was on,
- 4:43you know,
- 4:44on the stage and went to this event yesterday,
- 4:46the same exact people that are going to tell you,
- 4:49first of all,
- 4:49how you're a racist for being white,
- 4:52but secondly,
- 4:53how your evil wealth is terrible and billionaires shouldn't exist.
- 4:58It's the hypocrisy that bothers me,
- 5:00and I would propose,
- 5:02you know,
- 5:02when you go and you win the Masters,
- 5:03you have a lifetime exemption,
- 5:04you get to play in the Masters forever.
- 5:07I would
- 5:08propose that we do the same thing here
- 5:10with the Met Gala.
- 5:11If you go to the Met Gala one time,
- 5:13you have a lifetime exemption
- 5:15from ever
- 5:16being able to,
- 5:17you are restricted forever
- 5:19from speaking about income inequality.
- 5:21You can't do it anymore.
- 5:23I,
- 5:23I,
- 5:23you know,
- 5:24Kamala probably gonna run for governor,
- 5:25maybe run for president again.
- 5:27She should not be allowed to mention income inequality ever again.
- 5:30Can we just get that out of society?
- 5:32I will say,
- 5:33Donald Trump has a lot of,
- 5:34uh,
- 5:35of these executive orders he's been doing.
- 5:37You know,
- 5:38some of them are really,
- 5:38really big and sweeping,
- 5:39some of them are kind of more symbolic.
- 5:42He should
- 5:43pass,
- 5:43if you,
- 5:44I want
- 5:46an executive order that just says
- 5:48if you ever go to the Met Gala,
- 5:50you're not allowed to speak anymore about
- 5:53income inequality.
- 5:54And and people might say that's unconstitutional.
- 5:56Let's amend the constitution.
- 5:58I will take a new amendment
- 5:59that just says that because honestly I I can't take it anymore.
- 6:02And another person I can't take anymore is the big host of the evening.
- 6:05The big host of the evening,
- 6:07fashion icon.
- 6:10LeBron
- 6:10James.
- 6:12I,
- 6:13OK,
- 6:13LeBron James was the host of this.
- 6:15Now.
- 6:16He didn't show up.
- 6:17That's the big news,
- 6:18of course.
- 6:20LeBron James.
- 6:22Did not show up to this.
- 6:23He says he missed it because he had a knee injury.
- 6:26Now I was watching the game,
- 6:28OK.
- 6:29It's amazing how the,
- 6:30how these uh
- 6:32these injuries for LeBron James and the massive flops that he has
- 6:36all seem to happen right around the end of losses.
- 6:39It's fascinating.
- 6:40Down 3-1,
- 6:41I don't know,
- 6:426 minutes left,
- 6:43they're in real trouble,
- 6:43probably gonna lose,
- 6:45and he bumps knees and all of a sudden he's got lots and lots of pain.
- 6:47Now he comes and still plays the whole rest of the game,
- 6:50so
- 6:51I don't know how painful it was,
- 6:52uh,
- 6:53but.
- 6:54I have my guesses on that one.
- 6:56that's just,
- 6:57uh,
- 6:57LeBron James in general.
- 6:59Um,
- 6:59but then he can't,
- 7:01first of all,
- 7:02he can't come to this event because of a knee injury.
- 7:04Why?
- 7:04Like,
- 7:04uh,
- 7:04you could obviously just,
- 7:06I mean,
- 7:07he's a multi,
- 7:08multi,
- 7:08he's a billionaire,
- 7:08I think,
- 7:09right,
- 7:09or a multi 100 millionaire.
- 7:11You get in your private jet,
- 7:12you get off of it,
- 7:13you get in a wheelchair,
- 7:14trot yourself in with your fancy outfit,
- 7:15OK?
- 7:16That's easy.
- 7:17Uh,
- 7:17you can,
- 7:18he sent his wife.
- 7:19In lieu of it,
- 7:20but bigger than that is the fact that they scheduled him to be the host.
- 7:23They were the 3 seed in the West.
- 7:25They got upset,
- 7:26in theory,
- 7:27in this first round series.
- 7:28They should have been playing,
- 7:29you know,
- 7:30basketball right now.
- 7:32Why was he scheduled to be at the Met Gala in the first place
- 7:35on a night he likely either was playing basketball or
- 7:38just coming off of a night where he played basketball?
- 7:40Uh,
- 7:41I,
- 7:41I,
- 7:41I don't know.
- 7:42I,
- 7:42I will say.
- 7:44I didn't understand anything from the Met Gala.
- 7:46I don't get it.
- 7:46I don't understand why people talk about it all the time,
- 7:49other than to make fun of it,
- 7:50which by the way,
- 7:50I will say,
- 7:51uh,
- 7:51is fun and valuable.
- 7:53If you get a moment to go back and listen to Megyn Kelly today,
- 7:56her monologue at the beginning of the show.
- 8:00was so funny about this.
- 8:02She just doesn't care.
- 8:02She just doesn't care.
- 8:03She's just bashing these people,
- 8:04and I find
- 8:05plenty of joy
- 8:06in that approach to it.
- 8:08Maybe we can get some of that bashing out of Dave Landau.
- 8:10He's going to be here in just a second.
- 8:22What if the front door to your American dream
- 8:25was standing wide open while you slept soundly inside?
- 8:28In our digital age where identity becomes ones and zeros,
- 8:32your home title sits unguarded in county records,
- 8:35silent,
- 8:36vulnerable,
- 8:36and just waiting to be picked off.
- 8:38Modern thieves don't need crowbars,
- 8:40they don't need broken windows,
- 8:41they just need a forged signature,
- 8:42a counterfeit notary stamp,
- 8:44you know,
- 8:44a small filing fee at a county office.
- 8:47This is a perfect crime and it doesn't need masks or getaway cars.
- 8:51The media talks about celebrity gossip.
- 8:53They talk about the Met Gala all day long,
- 8:55but the financial nightmare that unfolds in neighborhoods nationwide is real.
- 9:00Families discover the truth only when strangers claim ownership of their
- 9:03homes or banks demand payment on loans they never took out.
- 9:06Home title lock stands guard when you cannot.
- 9:09The technology.

- 9:35We're joined now by Dave Landau,
- 9:36comedian and host of Normal World right here on Blaze TV,
- 9:38also the author of the new book,
- 9:40you gotta pick this up,
- 9:40Party of One,
- 9:42which we just spent about 10 minutes off the air discussing.
- 9:44Each chapter I read is like a whole another 10 minute discussion with Dave on this.
- 9:48Uh,
- 9:48you can pick this up wherever you get your books.
- 9:50It's hard to,
- 9:50hard to believe these stories are true,
- 9:52but apparently they are.
- 9:53Dave,
- 9:53how's it going?
- 9:54Good,
- 9:54how about you,
- 9:54sir?
- 9:55Very,
- 9:55very good.
- 9:56Um,
- 9:56I will say watching the Met Gala,
- 9:58or at least the coverage of it last night,
- 9:59I can't say that I tuned into the.
- 10:01Minute by minute.
- 10:02We didn't watch the whole celebration.
- 10:03No,
- 10:04and I'm sure it was incredible.
- 10:05Yeah,
- 10:05it was great.
- 10:06Uh,
- 10:07it was fascinating to see what they,
- 10:09what the media likes to highlight and then what really went on.
- 10:12Like
- 10:12this was like a celebration of black culture and all these things.
- 10:15It felt a little bit out of like five years ago,
- 10:17a little
- 10:18like peak woke era,
- 10:21uh,
- 10:21to me.
- 10:21It did.
- 10:22And also if you look at the people.
- 10:25They're all pimps.
- 10:26They're like 80% of them are dressed as pimps to celebrate black culture.
- 10:32That's not supposed to be what it was.
- 10:33I know.
- 10:34I thought it was black dandyism,
- 10:36which is wonderful.
- 10:37Well,
- 10:38dandies and pimps have some in common.
- 10:40I think so.
- 10:41There's,
- 10:41I mean,
- 10:42there's really no dandies anymore.
- 10:44And there's only two kinds of people that wear,
- 10:46uh,
- 10:46a cape,
- 10:47superheroes and pimps.
- 10:49That's true.
- 10:49I guess you could count vampires.
- 10:51Yeah,
- 10:52yeah,
- 10:52that's true.
- 10:52Oh they're kind of in the superhero family.
- 10:54They are the bad side of the superhero.
- 10:56Blade,
- 10:56yeah,
- 10:57right,
- 10:57yeah.
- 10:57He's half vampire.
- 10:58Yeah,
- 10:58right.
- 10:59So there's a relationship
- 11:00that we can.
- 11:01I mean we've,
- 11:02I think we've nailed it.
- 11:03I don't know if we need to go any farther on it.
- 11:04I was interested to see how people
- 11:07translate
- 11:08these moments because,
- 11:09like,
- 11:09you know,
- 11:11it is a fascinating thing to see that like the,
- 11:13you know,
- 11:13the type of style that was supposed to happen at this was
- 11:16this reflection of how
- 11:18back in the day,
- 11:20uh,
- 11:20you know,
- 11:20slave owners forced
- 11:23black people,
- 11:23slaves to.
- 11:25To dress this like uh like,
- 11:26you know,
- 11:27nice
- 11:28um
- 11:28formal sort of wear,
- 11:30but that was why they were wearing it,
- 11:32not because they chose,
- 11:32it was kind of like
- 11:33white people told them to wear it.
- 11:35And so the solution to to work a field with the trucks,
- 11:38right,
- 11:38yes,
- 11:39I guess this is for the more upscale events.
- 11:41Oh OK,
- 11:41so they're when they're allowed inside,
- 11:44they tell them to dress a certain way and this,
- 11:45they're playing off of that style.
- 11:47It's fascinating because.
- 11:48It's essentially
- 11:49to highlight this,
- 11:50to solve this deep racial
- 11:52hurt we have
- 11:53of
- 11:54of white slave owners
- 11:56telling black people how to dress.
- 11:57We had Anna Wintour telling black people how to dress,
- 12:00which is,
- 12:01I don't know exactly how that works,
- 12:03but like you could see how it would be difficult.
- 12:07Well,
- 12:07you could see how it would be difficult,
- 12:08I feel like for some of these people
- 12:09to actually understand what they're supposed to do.
- 12:11I have a little bit of grace for the White Lotus star.
- 12:14Uh,
- 12:14her name is Lisa,
- 12:15apparently that's how she's known.
- 12:16I,
- 12:17I don't,
- 12:17I don't know her.
- 12:18I did not watch White Lotus,
- 12:19so I don't know the show.
- 12:20But she's apparently also saw the first season.
- 12:22You saw the first season.
- 12:22I heard it was really good,
- 12:23actually.
- 12:24Yeah,
- 12:24the first season was pretty good,
- 12:26and I even kept going.
- 12:27If you like a good gay sex scene.
- 12:30It,
- 12:30it's your jam.
- 12:31Yeah,
- 12:32see,
- 12:32I've got that on so many other services.
- 12:33I know I don't need to,
- 12:35I need to fast forward through all this talking.
- 12:37Who inbox is polluted already,
- 12:39already.
- 12:40So,
- 12:41um.
- 12:42So this star of White Lotus is also a K-pop star.
- 12:45Apparently she's,
- 12:46I think she's from Thailand maybe,
- 12:47and and she
- 12:49might not be familiar with the ins and outs
- 12:51of this.
- 12:52She's a Korean pop star from Thailand,
- 12:54right?
- 12:55I just want to get that accurate for how they feel about each other.
- 12:57OK,
- 12:58there you go.
- 12:58I'm sure everything's going smoothly in that relationship.
- 13:01White Lotus Star is now being slammed
- 13:03for a distasteful Rosa Parks underwear incident.
- 13:06At the Met Gala.
- 13:07Now
- 13:08I saw this.
- 13:09I think she's probably just trying,
- 13:10no,
- 13:11but I put Rosa Parks,
- 13:12like she probably thinks this is good.
- 13:14This is her,
- 13:14is how she was dressed.
- 13:16Now
- 13:16one thing I will note,
- 13:17and this is
- 13:19another tradition here in the United States,
- 13:21um,
- 13:21pants.
- 13:23You could wear,
- 13:23you could theoretically wear pants,
- 13:25and even if you had Rosa Park Parks underwear,
- 13:27we wouldn't know it.
- 13:28That's just a tip for anyone coming in.
- 13:30True,
- 13:32is Rosa Parks just on the crotch?
- 13:34Yeah,
- 13:34so let's let's zoom in,
- 13:35if you will.
- 13:36We have to.
- 13:37Oh yes,
- 13:37I mean you,
- 13:38you now you did request these.
- 13:39Multiple times today,
- 13:40but yes,
- 13:41we've zoomed in.
- 13:42If you look very closely,
- 13:43you can see little faces
- 13:45of people.
- 13:46Now,
- 13:47I don't know for sure if it's Rosa Parks.
- 13:50We did do the effort of putting a side by side together so you can see here,
- 13:53Dave and do the full analysis.
- 13:55Um,
- 13:56do you,
- 13:57which do you see her in,
- 13:59in the underwear?
- 14:00I feel like
- 14:02it's possible
- 14:03that the person.
- 14:05Very close to the middle,
- 14:06shall we say.
- 14:07Boy,
- 14:07there's pearls,
- 14:08that's something.
- 14:09Um,
- 14:09there's uh.
- 14:11Just
- 14:12ropes.
- 14:13Uh,
- 14:14let me,
- 14:15I,
- 14:16I'm just investigating this all day.
- 14:17I don't let you take it down.
- 14:18Hey,
- 14:19hang on,
- 14:20hang on,
- 14:20I gotta magnifying glass and bring it over to the screen.
- 14:23I don't really see it,
- 14:24but I don't know why you would.
- 14:25Is,
- 14:26is there several leaders on there or just her?
- 14:28I think it's,
- 14:28uh,
- 14:29I think the theory was that it was a bunch of
- 14:31maybe activists,
- 14:32but that really only Rosa Parks was the only one identified.
- 14:35Now,
- 14:35I do think that she would come out and say.
- 14:38No,
- 14:38it's just a bunch of faces.
- 14:39It wasn't Rosa Parks on the underwear.
- 14:41It was just a bunch of faces.
- 14:42That did not seem to be her answer to this.
- 14:44So I think.
- 14:46I think,
- 14:47uh,
- 14:48why would you make it on your crotch?
- 14:51Well,
- 14:51that's the place everyone's looking.
- 14:52Well,
- 14:52that's true.
- 14:53You know that's what happens when you don't wear pants,
- 14:55Dave,
- 14:55in public.
- 14:56People look at your crotch.
- 14:57You can't put her in the back.
- 14:58She refused that.
- 15:01So why,
- 15:02where's she supposed to go?
- 15:04She's gotta go to the front.
- 15:05I know there's nothing wrong with that.
- 15:08I,
- 15:08that's what she would have.
- 15:10She's honoring the memory.
- 15:12Yeah,
- 15:12and I'm,
- 15:12look,
- 15:12I'm a Rosa Parks fan.
- 15:14She lived in Detroit up until the day she died,
- 15:17I think.
- 15:18Yeah,
- 15:18I don't,
- 15:19would she really care?
- 15:22You know,
- 15:22I,
- 15:23I good question.
- 15:24I don't know,
- 15:25like,
- 15:25I guess it's different,
- 15:26but I guess if,
- 15:27I guess if a guy showed up with his,
- 15:29my face on his crotch,
- 15:31I would be like,
- 15:31this is,
- 15:32what are you doing?
- 15:32I guess I could be offended from a distance.
- 15:34You know,
- 15:35yeah,
- 15:35I can see it a little bit,
- 15:36but I do think you're right,
- 15:38putting in the front makes it a lot better.
- 15:39I,
- 15:39I think in the back of the bum would have been bad.
- 15:42She fought against that.
- 15:43But I,
- 15:43I realize she's Asian,
- 15:45but I don't think that she made the underwear.
- 15:48Isn't this given to her?
- 15:49Yeah,
- 15:50no,
- 15:50she's not 10,
- 15:51so the designer was,
- 15:52uh,
- 15:52David Duke apparently.
- 15:53Uh,
- 15:54so that might explain she's wearing Dukes Dukes.
- 15:59I just,
- 15:59it's a,
- 16:00look,
- 16:00a lot of fascinating choices were made,
- 16:02OK,
- 16:03at this event.
- 16:03I just don't,
- 16:04I guess I would have just lied and said,
- 16:06oh,
- 16:06I don't,
- 16:07I don't know English.
- 16:08I got that.
- 16:09That was that Old Navy.
- 16:10This is what they had.
- 16:11I don't,
- 16:11right,
- 16:12I don't know.
- 16:13Ah,
- 16:14yeah,
- 16:14she could have just worn a jacket with leaders on it then.
- 16:17Right.
- 16:18And that would have made some,
- 16:19although again,
- 16:19you,
- 16:20you,
- 16:20you probably want to keep,
- 16:21I don't know,
- 16:21it just seems odd to put them right at your private,
- 16:23but hey,
- 16:23yeah,
- 16:24you know,
- 16:24because someone said,
- 16:25I heard someone say MLK was on there and I didn't see them.
- 16:29I mean,
- 16:29I guess he could be in front of the hole.
- 16:33I'm just saying if you wanna go for accuracy.
- 16:35I just,
- 16:37I just wouldn't put a bunch of leaders
- 16:39of the black community.
- 16:41I think it's a bad idea.
- 16:42Terrible idea.
- 16:43I think a bad idea.
- 16:44I don't,
- 16:44I would not recommend it for your next performance.
- 16:46I don't,
- 16:47don't go this direction.
- 16:47I've never even seen
- 16:49a pair of underwear that offered that.
- 16:52So good.
- 16:53Uh,
- 16:53and it's,
- 16:54you know what,
- 16:55it's gonna get,
- 16:55it's gonna be blown over quickly.
- 16:57Yeah,
- 16:57I,
- 16:58I think most people are just gonna be like,
- 16:59alright,
- 16:59yeah,
- 17:00I don't know.
- 17:00She probably just doesn't.
- 17:01What are you gonna do?
- 17:02You're gonna be like,
- 17:02oh,
- 17:02we're not gonna go to the K-pop concert,
- 17:05right?
- 17:05I know.
- 17:05Who's that for?
- 17:06I'm sure all the giggling,
- 17:07you know,
- 17:07teenagers are gonna be like,
- 17:08I'm offended by that Rosa Parks underwear.
- 17:10I don't know who she is.
- 17:11No,
- 17:12well,
- 17:12somebody,
- 17:12somebody knows.
- 17:13She's got 100 million followers,
- 17:14Steve.
- 17:15Oh yeah.
- 17:15That's more than me.
- 17:16I believe even more than you.
- 17:17Yeah,
- 17:17only by a little.
- 17:19Right.
- 17:19Only by about 100 million.
- 17:21OK,
- 17:21good.
- 17:22So.
- 17:22Let me ask you another about another interesting choice.
- 17:24This is a long,
- 17:25this is a long term choice,
- 17:26a long-term development.
- 17:28Pamela Anderson.
- 17:30Remember her from back in the day?
- 17:31Baywatch.
- 17:32You met her.
- 17:32She seems
- 17:33delightful.
- 17:34She gave me a kiss on the cheek.
- 17:36Really?
- 17:36There you go.
- 17:36That seems very nice.
- 17:37I got hep C.
- 17:40You guys are close apparently.
- 17:42I did work with her though,
- 17:43she was a sweetheart.
- 17:44Yeah,
- 17:44I've heard she's actually very nice.
- 17:45Now again,
- 17:46like.
- 17:47It,
- 17:48it's,
- 17:48it's difficult.
- 17:49The Hollywood asks a lot of difficult things of these people,
- 17:51right?
- 17:51Like
- 17:52you're supposed to look 24 for your entire life,
- 17:55and obviously that's not possible.
- 17:56But there are people who,
- 17:57like,
- 17:57you know,
- 17:58I remember Jamie Lee Curtis was like this.
- 17:59She decided,
- 18:00you know what,
- 18:00screw it.
- 18:00I'm not gonna go out there,
- 18:01I'm not dyeing my hair,
- 18:02not going for any of it.
- 18:03I'm just,
- 18:03I'm just gonna go out there
- 18:05and however I look is how I look and get used to it.
- 18:07OK,
- 18:07cool.
- 18:08Uh,
- 18:08she turns heads at the uh at the Met Gala with a bold new hairdo.
- 18:13And this is her,
- 18:14uh,
- 18:15how she came to the Met Gala.
- 18:16Again,
- 18:16like the most glamorous
- 18:18night of your life,
- 18:19I suppose.
- 18:20Um,
- 18:21it's an interesting haircut.
- 18:22I,
- 18:23I was on with Megyn Kelly
- 18:24earlier uh today,
- 18:25and uh she was not a fan
- 18:27of the smiling,
- 18:28I would say.
- 18:31Boy,
- 18:33What,
- 18:34what's,
- 18:34what's your take here,
- 18:35Dave?
- 18:36Well,
- 18:36uh,
- 18:37I would say it's kind of a Rocky Dennis haircut.
- 18:40Maybe a special needs bowl cut,
- 18:42and that's not against anybody
- 18:44who has,
- 18:45there was just a haircut
- 18:46in the 80s that was very common
- 18:49for people with
- 18:52Down syndrome.
- 18:53OK,
- 18:54well
- 18:55that's,
- 18:55you were,
- 18:55you were there trying to be.
- 18:57No,
- 18:57I know,
- 18:57but it was,
- 18:58it's an interesting approach for the Jim Carrey Lloyd Christmas haircut.
- 19:02OK,
- 19:02yeah.
- 19:03But in the,
- 19:03it's what a cat lady would have.
- 19:05Right,
- 19:06right.
- 19:06And now this is not supposed to be,
- 19:07can we remind you what,
- 19:08what Pam Anderson looked like back in the day?
- 19:11There's been a transition here,
- 19:13and again,
- 19:13age is age,
- 19:14gravity always wins,
- 19:15we know that.
- 19:16What's that?
- 19:17Nothing.
- 19:20We know that gravity always wins.
- 19:21That's,
- 19:22that's that's part of the story.
- 19:23Even no scientific achievement as of yet has
- 19:26been able to solve that particular issue.
- 19:29Um,
- 19:29but it is,
- 19:30this is more than,
- 19:31isn't this like choice?
- 19:32Like,
- 19:32there's something going on here.
- 19:34Yeah,
- 19:34I can't,
- 19:35I mean,
- 19:35she still looks good
- 19:37from the neck down.
- 19:38I don't,
- 19:39I mean,
- 19:39I don't want to insult somebody's face.
- 19:40She's,
- 19:40I'm sure she's very pretty,
- 19:42uh,
- 19:43in,
- 19:43in a different light.
- 19:45I'm trying to figure out what to
- 19:47which light with that.
- 19:48It's Joe Dirt's haircut.
- 19:52I don't understand why,
- 19:53I don't understand why all fashion is like,
- 19:56this is,
- 19:56it all feels like a prank.
- 19:58Like this feels like a prank.
- 20:00Yes.
- 20:00Well,
- 20:00you know,
- 20:01people are showing up with pianos strapped to their back,
- 20:03which is acceptable though,
- 20:04because that's Andre 3000.
- 20:06Outkast,
- 20:07where I'm like,
- 20:07I get that.
- 20:08But the rest of them,
- 20:09literally everyone else
- 20:11who's not Andre 3000.
- 20:13Like,
- 20:14ah,
- 20:14that is,
- 20:15it's a little strange.
- 20:16Um,
- 20:17by the way,
- 20:18uh,
- 20:18Jadis Stokes,
- 20:19uh,
- 20:20from Walking Dead,
- 20:20I don't know if you watched The Walking Dead.
- 20:21I was told by my producers the exact same haircut as her.
- 20:24Oh my goodness,
- 20:25I think you're pretty much right there.
- 20:27That's spot on.
- 20:27Now,
- 20:28is she wearing that because she's in the future where
- 20:30there are zombies and she doesn't I have think so of
- 20:33haircut.
- 20:33I think so.
- 20:34That might be to keep the hair out of her eyes.
- 20:36Um,
- 20:36let me give you one more.
- 20:37This is,
- 20:37uh,
- 20:38we don't have pictures of this one,
- 20:39but did you see Zendaya?
- 20:41Um,
- 20:41now Zendaya,
- 20:42very pretty,
- 20:43like beautiful,
- 20:44kind of known as a,
- 20:45I don't know,
- 20:45a big star,
- 20:46kind of a sex symbol I guess.
- 20:48She looked and all that.
- 20:49She looked beautiful,
- 20:49like very she was the one person that kind of stood out as like,
- 20:52ah,
- 20:52she actually
- 20:53dressed like a human being and looked great.
- 20:56So I know Zendaya.
- 20:57I remember her from,
- 20:58I think it was Euphoria,
- 20:59right?
- 21:00on HBO.
- 21:01That's,
- 21:01that was my
- 21:02my understanding of who Zendaya was.
- 21:04She's on Euphoria and then she's been in a bunch of movies.
- 21:08So I get home the other day
- 21:10and I'm watching made of pills or costume?
- 21:14That whole show was made of pills.
- 21:15That show was insane.
- 21:17Absolutely,
- 21:17um,
- 21:18made of pills.
- 21:18So,
- 21:19uh,
- 21:19I,
- 21:19I go home the other day and,
- 21:20and my daughter's watching TV.
- 21:22And she's on Disney Plus and she's watching some show,
- 21:27and it's Zendaya
- 21:28at like,
- 21:29I don't know,
- 21:3014 or something.
- 21:31Oh,
- 21:31so she was a,
- 21:32like a child star.
- 21:33Apparently.
- 21:34Do we have anyone else?
- 21:36Is every single,
- 21:37uh,
- 21:38person that we eventually turn into a sex symbol on a show where they're 12 on TV?
- 21:42That's a weird,
- 21:44weird thing we're doing.
- 21:46Well,
- 21:46it,
- 21:46it's not new though.
- 21:47It's not new.
- 21:48You could like Kurt Russell.
- 21:50I don't mean to compare him to he is hot.
- 21:52I don't know,
- 21:53you know what I'm saying.
- 21:54You know,
- 21:56he's gotta look if you had to,
- 21:58no,
- 21:58but
- 21:58I just mean like
- 21:59there's so many like young child stars
- 22:02that do end up
- 22:04growing into sex symbols.
- 22:05Yeah,
- 22:05well,
- 22:06I mean Britney Spears,
- 22:07right?
- 22:07Uh,
- 22:08Selena Gomez,
- 22:09yeah,
- 22:10the other one
- 22:11who was Hannah Montana.
- 22:12Yeah,
- 22:12Hannah Mont,
- 22:13uh,
- 22:13yeah,
- 22:14that her,
- 22:15yeah,
- 22:15uh,
- 22:15the lady that Miley Cyrus,
- 22:17Cyrus,
- 22:17yeah,
- 22:17you got Miley Cyrus and then you have,
- 22:19uh,
- 22:19it's like super common
- 22:21and it happens a lot,
- 22:23and it's
- 22:23a weird tradition,
- 22:25Dave.
- 22:25It is a weird tradition it almost feels like you should be off limits from that.
- 22:29And they all have that transition where they have,
- 22:31oh Sabrina Carpenter is the is another one that's just happened.
- 22:34And they all go that way too,
- 22:35it's like from like uh you know,
- 22:37buttoned up uh you know,
- 22:39child star
- 22:40into like absolutely all clothes are coming off at any opportunity.
- 22:44I'm.
- 22:45And I just feel like that there's a weird thing about America that that's doing that.
- 22:49I don't know if it's just us,
- 22:50but it's a,
- 22:50it's,
- 22:51it's an interesting thing I've been noticing.
- 22:52I feel like it's the actual PR move.
- 22:54It's like you're very innocent at this point,
- 22:56and then the second that you break into acting in the mainstream above 18,
- 23:01you gotta go full whore,
- 23:03like,
- 23:04and that's what they want you to do,
- 23:05and it just seems
- 23:07like I watched it with Miley Cyrus.
- 23:09She like came out naked almost at like one of the MTV awards,
- 23:13and I mean.
- 23:14You know that was uh
- 23:15horrible,
- 23:16but it seemed really traumatizing.
- 23:19Yeah.
- 23:20Well,
- 23:20I mean,
- 23:20and again I get why it would be the right PR move.
- 23:23You're shedding an old
- 23:25stereotype about yourself.
- 23:26You're it's like everybody who has a big role,
- 23:28you don't want to do the similar role you typecast.
- 23:30Yes.
- 23:31So I get that.
- 23:33But we really seem to celebrate it as a society.
- 23:36Like there's nothing,
- 23:37I don't know,
- 23:38there's something darker.
- 23:39It's grooming.
- 23:40Yeah,
- 23:40right?
- 23:40There's no other way to put it.
- 23:41And I mean with the stuff about Nickelodeon
- 23:43coming out with Dan Schneider and everybody else,
- 23:45I mean,
- 23:46there's no doubt that that's part of it.
- 23:47Like there's a whole plan set up
- 23:50for a lot of these
- 23:51women.
- 23:52Am I like discovering electricity here?
- 23:54Did everyone know this already that it was.
- 23:55Weird or is it like,
- 23:56I think everybody does,
- 23:57but we,
- 23:58we don't really talk about it,
- 24:00but we all kind of know.
- 24:01Yeah.
- 24:02Yeah,
- 24:02it's a little,
- 24:03it's a,
- 24:03I blame Billy Ray Cyrus.
- 24:05Yeah,
- 24:05it's all his fault.
- 24:06It's all
- 24:08to blame for so many things in our society.
- 24:09Yeah,
- 24:09well,
- 24:10except for,
- 24:10uh,
- 24:11great music.
- 24:11He's,
- 24:12he's not accountable for that at all.
- 24:14No,
- 24:14he is not.
- 24:15Uh,
- 24:15Dave Landau will have more
- 24:16in just a second.
- 24:25Remember house hunting like before smartphones,
- 24:28uh,
- 24:28remember it back then,
- 24:29and then you imagine it with,
- 24:31imagine now house hunting with AI bots outbidding you.
- 24:35It's gonna be a weird world going forward.
- 24:36Things are changing as we've just mentioned,
- 24:38they seem to change
- 24:40in similar ways over and over again.
- 24:41Buying or selling a home is going to be crazy in 2025.
- 24:44It was crazy back in the day.
- 24:45You need to know someone who kind of has the whole picture
- 24:48of the entire process.
- 24:49One minute you might be browsing listings,
- 24:52the next you're drowning in paperwork thicker than.
- 24:54Like government spending bills,
- 24:56you don't want to get into that world.
- 24:58Everyone's got opinions.
- 24:59Your uncle thinks prices are going to crash,
- 25:00your co-worker knows a guy who like flipped 3 houses,
- 25:04and,
- 25:04and meanwhile,
- 25:05cable systems coming after you.
- 25:07They're telling you,
- 25:08uh,
- 25:08cable news is saying that like,
- 25:10oh,
- 25:10everything's going to crash or it's going to skyrocket
- 25:12depending if you're on MSNBC or Fox News.
- 25:14Here's the thing,
- 25:15when you're making possibly the greatest and biggest purchase of your life,
- 25:18you need someone who knows what they're doing.
- 25:21And that's why I would recommend Real Estate Agents ITrust.com.
- 25:23They connect you with the top pros that can help you
- 25:26see what you need to see in the market and someone who sells homes,

- 26:02Dave Landau is with us.
- 26:03Dave,
- 26:03I've been,
- 26:04you know,
- 26:04I go on YouTube and
- 26:05there's a fancy algorithm that sends me
- 26:08things that I watch,
- 26:08and apparently I've been watching some of your material
- 26:11because I keep getting,
- 26:12uh,
- 26:12these served to me over and over again.
- 26:14These are the fantastic film facts.
- 26:16I just started them.
- 26:17You just started.
- 26:17I
- 26:18like,
- 26:18yeah,
- 26:18I think I'm on like 6 or 7.
- 26:19OK,
- 26:20let me show you one of these if you haven't seen them yet.
- 26:22It's fantastic film facts.
- 26:24Here's your film facts for today.
- 26:26Did you know that the snow in The Wizard of Oz wasn't actually snow?
- 26:31It was asbestos.
- 26:34That's right,
- 26:35what looks like majestic snow was actually
- 26:38poisonous insulation raining onto the cast.
- 26:42It was also often used in elementary schools.
- 26:48I just want people to know.
- 26:49So nice.
- 26:50I will say your voice is so soothing when you tell me these terrible real,
- 26:53they're real film facts,
- 26:54right?
- 26:54All of them are real.
- 26:55All of them are real.
- 26:56Somebody claimed that that wasn't true,
- 26:57but the more I've researched it,
- 26:59it is.
- 26:59It is true.
- 27:00And somebody's like,
- 27:01well,
- 27:01of course it's not real snow.
- 27:02I'm like,
- 27:03thank you,
- 27:03you're a moron.
- 27:04Like we all know it's not real snow,
- 27:06but even at that time,
- 27:08I bet you people thought it was real snow because film was so new,
- 27:11but they didn't real,
- 27:12I mean they didn't realize it was,
- 27:14they didn't realize that asbestos was poison,
- 27:16but that's what they used as snow.
- 27:17You'd think that they could have come up with anything else,
- 27:19but again,
- 27:20at that point,
- 27:21how would they know?
- 27:22Yeah,
- 27:22they wouldn't know.
- 27:23But it's still hilarious because,
- 27:24you know,
- 27:25one of them got like mesothelioma.
- 27:27There's no doubt.
- 27:28Oh my God,
- 27:28with the amount of ads they run to find.
- 27:30People,
- 27:31they,
- 27:31I think everybody's got it.
- 27:32I,
- 27:32I assume.
- 27:33Oh,
- 27:34well,
- 27:34and then the,
- 27:35the dwarves.
- 27:36I did another one on the dwarves.
- 27:38They were known for fighting
- 27:39and pimping each other out.
- 27:41I did see this and they,
- 27:42most of them were severe alcoholics.
- 27:45A lot of that,
- 27:45like they were all crushed from the depression.
- 27:47What is the thought?
- 27:48The thought of these is just take
- 27:50wonderful moments and completely ruin them.
- 27:52Is that basically the thought of it?
- 27:53Yeah,
- 27:53yeah,
- 27:53like I,
- 27:54I,
- 27:54I try to find the most,
- 27:55more,
- 27:56more innocent films.
- 27:57They can see the Jurassic Park one I did.
- 27:59They see Jurassic Park one.
- 28:01Maybe we'll show that one here and there.
- 28:02That one's very funny.
- 28:03OK,
- 28:03um,
- 28:04let me go to a couple of other stories before we get back.
- 28:05By the way,
- 28:06go to Dave.
- 28:06It's at Dave Landau or whatever on yeah,
- 28:08on,
- 28:09uh,
- 28:09yeah,
- 28:09YouTube is Dave Landau comedian,
- 28:11I think.
- 28:11Dave Landau comedian.
- 28:12Go there and you'll get these,
- 28:13uh,
- 28:14as Dave does them and,
- 28:15and creates more fantastic.
- 28:17They're all fantastic.
- 28:18They are fantastic.
- 28:19OK,
- 28:20we have a couple of stars
- 28:21that have decided.
- 28:23This Trump thing's too much,
- 28:24they gotta leave the country.
- 28:25Rosie O'Donnell,
- 28:26we heard about this about a week or two ago,
- 28:28she's moving to
- 28:29she's in Ireland now.
- 28:30She's even done an interview in Ireland saying why she left,
- 28:33which was of course nonsensical.
- 28:35Blending in with every man there.
- 28:36Yes,
- 28:37yes,
- 28:38she does,
- 28:38she does fit in.
- 28:39Um,
- 28:40she has now sold her penthouse,
- 28:42which she bought
- 28:43in New York City
- 28:45in 2017 for $8 million.
- 28:48Now,
- 28:48I would think there.
- 28:50New York's had,
- 28:51I don't know if you heard this,
- 28:52a couple of problems uh in the period of say 2020 to 2022.
- 28:56There were some issues there in New York.
- 28:58You don't have time to go through all of them,
- 29:00but I promise they were there.
- 29:01And I could see like real estate agent values probably
- 29:04went down for a period there when people were wondering,
- 29:06will it be like,
- 29:07you know,
- 29:08I am legend in the city,
- 29:09OK.
- 29:10Yeah,
- 29:10Especially when your entire apartment smells like microwave fish.
- 29:13I just have a feeling that's,
- 29:15that's,
- 29:15it just smells like someone's been microwaving seafood.
- 29:19There's no way sea bass over and over.
- 29:22It's just an awful,
- 29:24there's no way,
- 29:25like nobody wants to live in a place where they know
- 29:28you don't want to use the same bathroom as Rosie,
- 29:30as Rosie O'Donnell.
- 29:31Like that,
- 29:31so I could see that lowering rates a little bit immediately.
- 29:34I was shocked,
- 29:35however,
- 29:36to see.
- 29:37She held it from 2017 to 2025.
- 29:39She sold it for $4.75 million
- 29:41so she lost over $3 million on this house.
- 29:45Wow,
- 29:45which again,
- 29:46New York real estate has been known to
- 29:48be a pretty good investment generally speaking.
- 29:50No matter what happens,
- 29:52it seems that you have to pay way too much in New York for whatever you get.
- 29:56Yeah,
- 29:57right.
- 29:57So for her to do that and just take like the first offer,
- 30:01good,
- 30:01good,
- 30:02good.
- 30:02I,
- 30:02I hope
- 30:03more money away from her and just anyone else.
- 30:06I'm fine.
- 30:06I don't care if she bought it a drug dealer took the profits and took the fine,
- 30:11I'm more offended she had $8 million.
- 30:13That is offensive,
- 30:14isn't it?
- 30:15I just,
- 30:16I never understood it.
- 30:17Like she had that.
- 30:18She,
- 30:18she did a,
- 30:18uh,
- 30:19she had another stakeout,
- 30:21a League of Their Own.
- 30:22She was good in A League of Their Own.
- 30:23That's what everyone.
- 30:24That's the only thing they'll give her.
- 30:25Yeah,
- 30:25it was that Exit to Eden where she has to dress up like in a dominatrix outfit
- 30:30that ruined a year of my life.
- 30:33I do remember that.
- 30:34It was 12 and they used it in 11 or something when I saw that.
- 30:36They used it in the promotional
- 30:38materials for that film.
- 30:39How could you possibly think that was a good idea?
- 30:41Well,
- 30:41yeah,
- 30:4100,
- 30:42it bombed.
- 30:42Do you think it's because we had Rosie O'Donnell
- 30:45wearing sexy clothes on the cover
- 30:47next to Dan Aykroyd?
- 30:49I like Dan Aykroyd,
- 30:50but I feel like Aykroyd was the hot one.
- 30:52He was,
- 30:52he was the hotter chick of the two.
- 30:54Yes,
- 30:54I agree.
- 30:55I fully agree.
- 30:56We also have,
- 30:57uh,
- 30:58Joey Pants,
- 30:59uh,
- 30:59Sopranos star Joe Pantalano.
- 31:01Uh,
- 31:01he's uncomfortable in the US.
- 31:03He's looking to move as well.
- 31:05He wants to run for the hills and thinking maybe Portugal is the place to go.
- 31:09Oh,
- 31:09Portugal,
- 31:10I'm sure it doesn't have any problems.
- 31:12No,
- 31:12um,
- 31:13everything's fine in Portugal.
- 31:14He's Is that Rosie O'Donnell again?
- 31:15Yeah,
- 31:16that's her.
- 31:17Look at her.
- 31:18Wow.
- 31:18Wait,
- 31:19no,
- 31:19that's Joey Pants.
- 31:20Oh,
- 31:20is it?
- 31:20Looks just like Rosie O'Donnell.
- 31:22It looks identical to the just earlier photo
- 31:26of Rosie.
- 31:26It's fascinating.
- 31:27I,
- 31:27I honestly was glancing up and then we have a monitor
- 31:30that shows the pictures and I thought we had put the wrong one up.
- 31:32Do you think they all just become the same person?
- 31:34Yeah,
- 31:35that's it.
- 31:35It's,
- 31:36I see,
- 31:36I like Joey Pants from The Sopranos,
- 31:39but like,
- 31:39what is this new.
- 31:40He's just,
- 31:41he's,
- 31:41he's turning into his character from The Matrix,
- 31:44where he's trying to get out of it.
- 31:46And I don't like it,
- 31:47he's just doing exactly that storyline.
- 31:49It's like you took the pill,
- 31:50you made the movies that were offensive.
- 31:52Like don't,
- 31:53you profited off of America all these years.
- 31:55You did great.
- 31:56I mean now you're just gonna abandon it
- 31:58because you've got a president you don't like.
- 31:59I mean that is pretty weak.
- 32:00And do you really not like him?
- 32:03Yeah,
- 32:03right.
- 32:03That's what I don't believe about a lot of these people.
- 32:05You don't,
- 32:06you don't think they don't,
- 32:06do you think they really like Trump secretly?
- 32:08I think some of them do.
- 32:09Yeah,
- 32:10well,
- 32:10I think a lot of them are either conservative or,
- 32:13I mean,
- 32:14he might hate him.
- 32:15There's no doubt about it.
- 32:16But at the same time,
- 32:17I think so much of this is lip service because it's always been lip service.
- 32:21I feel like there's a lot of people who are
- 32:23conservative in Hollywood.
- 32:24But then are also silent about it.
- 32:26Like they don't wanna,
- 32:26they,
- 32:27they're not gonna be out there praising Trump,
- 32:29even though they might like to.
- 32:30However,
- 32:31when you're coming out and saying you wanna move to Portugal because of the guy,
- 32:34I,
- 32:34I tend to believe he doesn't like him that much.
- 32:36Well,
- 32:36yeah,
- 32:36you know,
- 32:36I don't know.
- 32:37Yeah,
- 32:37you're right to,
- 32:38to,
- 32:38yeah,
- 32:39that's true.
- 32:40But like if you look at like Braddyanelli,
- 32:40he's a,
- 32:42a gay guy who's an author.
- 32:43He wrote American Psycho and Lessonn Zero.
- 32:45He's one of my favorites.
- 32:46Uh,
- 32:47he'll tell you,
- 32:47like he's,
- 32:48he's conservative.
- 32:49He'll tell you that most of Hollywood is conservative,
- 32:51but they just won't tell you.
- 32:53Like,
- 32:53especially the people in Beverly Hills and have,
- 32:55you know,
- 32:55the money,
- 32:56they're usually conservative,
- 32:57but it,
- 32:58it just won't come out.
- 32:59It's fascinating because like I,
- 33:00if that's true,
- 33:01and I,
- 33:01I,
- 33:01you know,
- 33:01it may very well be,
- 33:02I have no,
- 33:03you know,
- 33:03Hollywood connections,
- 33:04it's probably more true at the very least than we expect.
- 33:07But like.
- 33:08You'd think there would be more of a pushback on
- 33:11every single thing needs to be the same way.
- 33:13Every movie needs to have a left wing.
- 33:16You'd think there'd be more of like the Top Gun Maverick type storyline,
- 33:19which is just a positive American thing,
- 33:20right?
- 33:21Like,
- 33:21hey,
- 33:21we won.
- 33:22You know what I mean?
- 33:22Like there's not even that,
- 33:24there's not even an appetite.
- 33:24For that to be created in Hollywood for some reason,
- 33:27they've lost it.
- 33:28I mean,
- 33:29it's hard to explain exactly what happened,
- 33:31but it's kind of like the 80s into the 90s independent film boom
- 33:35where stuff got kind of cookie cutter
- 33:37and then really great movies came out by like
- 33:39Robert Rodriguez and Tarantino and all these people and.
- 33:42Like I think that's going to happen again
- 33:44because I think Hollywood is completely bankrupted itself
- 33:47by going we can only bet on Marvel,
- 33:49we have to be woke about everything
- 33:51and they're really just doing it because they were afraid
- 33:54and then the people who are working like we look
- 33:56at Disney like it's just some thing that produces stuff.
- 33:58But it's just a bunch of people afraid to lose their jobs,
- 34:02trying to look as liberal as possible,
- 34:04creating crap.
- 34:05Why would that be the solution for
- 34:08Disney though?
- 34:08I mean,
- 34:09I just don't understand it.
- 34:10I think it was,
- 34:11I mentioned Megyn Kelly earlier,
- 34:13one of her shows recently,
- 34:14she was talking about,
- 34:15um,
- 34:16it was um not Seabiscuit,
- 34:19one of the other horses,
- 34:19Secretariat.
- 34:20It was.
- 34:21It was
- 34:22Secretariat played by Rosie O'Donnell.
- 34:24Um,
- 34:24and,
- 34:25uh,
- 34:26she was great in that.
- 34:27Um,
- 34:27and she was mentioning that like
- 34:29Disney made that movie,
- 34:30Secretariat.
- 34:30Now Secretariat's not a right-wing movie.
- 34:32It's just a great story about the,
- 34:34you know,
- 34:34one of the greatest athletes of all time in horse form.
- 34:37Well,
- 34:38Dennis Quaid,
- 34:38the rookie.
- 34:40Yeah I mean there's a ton of movies that are just American movies.
- 34:43I mean,
- 34:43if you look at,
- 34:44I mean,
- 34:44uh,
- 34:45I believe that they,
- 34:46I don't know if it was Disney,
- 34:47but it was their production house that made 60.
- 34:50Was it
- 34:51611?
- 34:52Yeah,
- 34:53so
- 34:54I mean they've American stories are American stories.
- 34:56They don't have to be white,
- 34:57black,
- 34:58or anything else.
- 34:59They like that's what used to be all encompassing about this stuff,
- 35:01but then it became,
- 35:03let's not talk about any of this except for racial division,
- 35:06sexual division,
- 35:08and uh.
- 35:09We'll put it out so kids can see this all the time,
- 35:12even though we may Remember the Titans,
- 35:14right?
- 35:15They've made masterpieces,
- 35:17and not even that long ago.
- 35:18Not that long ago,
- 35:18right?
- 35:19It's so bizarre.
- 35:20All right,
- 35:20let me just tell you,
- 35:21let's talk about one more
- 35:22piece of,
- 35:23I think,
- 35:24important
- 35:26human rights legislature.
- 35:28Uh,
- 35:29which is the stripper's Bill of Rights.
- 35:31Oh good.
- 35:32This has
- 35:32apparently fallen short of expectations somehow.
- 35:36Washington,
- 35:37I guess they had a,
- 35:38a stripper's bill of rights,
- 35:41and,
- 35:41uh,
- 35:43shockingly,
- 35:44uh,
- 35:44the,
- 35:44the adult dancers say it's not living up to their expectations for it.
- 35:49Have you,
- 35:49have you,
- 35:50because it seems like the clubs basically found a loophole to this,
- 35:52right?
- 35:53Well,
- 35:53I,
- 35:53I guess I've been to a Washington strip club once.
- 35:56I'll just admit it,
- 35:57and they did not
- 35:59take off their clothes,
- 36:00they just shaved.
- 36:01And uh yeah,
- 36:03yeah,
- 36:03and it was then they lectured us about objectifying women.
- 36:07It was really,
- 36:08yeah,
- 36:08it was 5 bucks to get in,
- 36:1010 to get out,
- 36:11and,
- 36:12uh,
- 36:12it was really an unpleasant experience.
- 36:14So I don't,
- 36:15I'm pretty sure they still have their rights.
- 36:17Really,
- 36:17yeah,
- 36:18I,
- 36:18I,
- 36:18I,
- 36:19it does seem that that sounds like a wonderful evil yeah,
- 36:22yeah,
- 36:22and you're sober and correct.
- 36:24I was sober back in the day.
- 36:25It was a long time ago,
- 36:27weeks,
- 36:27and
- 36:28um.
- 36:30So I,
- 36:32yeah,
- 36:32I,
- 36:32I,
- 36:32I just definitely,
- 36:34you know,
- 36:34good for them.
- 36:35Yeah,
- 36:35you know,
- 36:36women's rights,
- 36:36workers' rights,
- 36:37uh,
- 36:37we're all on the side of,
- 36:38I think if you're big on women's rights,
- 36:40strip clubs is certainly the answer.
- 36:42You're like,
- 36:43I should go be a stripper.
- 36:44Yes,
- 36:45what do you make of this,
- 36:45and we have about maybe 30 seconds here,
- 36:47but like what do you make of this movement from the left that is like
- 36:50now trying to make sex work into this like respectable thing instead of saying like,
- 36:53hey,
- 36:54we shouldn't be.
- 36:55You know,
- 36:55uh,
- 36:56taking these women and objectifying them for sex only.
- 36:59Now,
- 36:59it's like this
- 37:00achievement.
- 37:00I think we're supposed to be proud of it and we can't criticize it.
- 37:03I'm not against sex work,
- 37:05they all say.
- 37:05It's,
- 37:05it's bizarre.
- 37:06I was
- 37:08raised Catholic,
- 37:09so I think all sex is shame
- 37:11and should never be discussed for any reason.
- 37:14I honestly think,
- 37:15look,
- 37:15if it's beneficial for health reasons or whatever.
- 37:18It keeps away trafficking.
- 37:19I can understand the argument against it,
- 37:21but the fact that everyone is doing it now,
- 37:24like you're like people are just like Bad Baby,
- 37:27who's the catch me outside girl,
- 37:29is,
- 37:30is almost a billionaire from her OnlyFans or worth hundreds of millions of dollars,
- 37:34and these are the success stories.
- 37:36This is America's fault though,
- 37:38of course,
- 37:39if you're a guy sending her money.
- 37:41That's,
- 37:41it's your fault too,
- 37:43but I think I really have like weird,
- 37:45I,
- 37:45I don't know what's good or bad for it.
- 37:47I don't think that.
- 37:48It's a good thing to sell your body.
- 37:50Right,
- 37:51like I,
- 37:51look,
- 37:52if you're certainly if you're in that line of work and like,
- 37:54you know,
- 37:55like you shouldn't be abused,
- 37:56you should sex trafficking and all that,
- 37:58of course,
- 37:59but there's a difference between saying,
- 38:00like
- 38:01we're we're all like,
- 38:02oh we can't judge anybody.
- 38:03You know,
- 38:04some choices you can judge.
- 38:06It's OK to judge and say,
- 38:07you know,
- 38:07we as a society,
- 38:09you know,
- 38:09you don't have to agree with our lines,
- 38:11but like
- 38:11we can kind of.
- 38:12Outwardly say that like
- 38:14selling your private parts for money might be
- 38:17not the best road for you to go down.
- 38:19It shouldn't be something that we're embarrassed to say.
- 38:21And I've had mine estimated and I don't think I'm going to make a lot of money trying.
- 38:26But if you go to my Only Dave,
- 38:28giving it a whirl.
- 38:29All right,
- 38:30Ondave.com,
- 38:31is that,
- 38:31that's me.
- 38:32Someone's going to go register that I'm wearing
- 38:34photos that are going to go helmets together.
- 38:37It's a weird place.
- 38:38Honestly,
- 38:39it's just,
- 38:39it's,
- 38:39it,
- 38:40do what you want,
- 38:41but there's,
- 38:41there should be a line,
- 38:42and I think we're going too far with it.
- 38:44Usually,
- 38:45yeah,
- 38:45it seems like,
- 38:45I don't know,
- 38:46every person,
- 38:47again,
- 38:47who seems to have previously been a child star,
- 38:50now is going into this line of work.
- 38:52That's weird.
- 38:52In America,
- 38:53just remember it's weird.

- 40:50MSNBC is needing to walk back a misstatement alleging FBI head
- 40:55Akash Patel spends more time at nightclubs than in the office.
- 40:58Apparently he reportedly he's been visible at nightclubs far more than
- 41:02he's been on the 7th floor of the Hoover Building,
- 41:04and there are reports to daily briefings having him
- 41:07been changed to every day to maybe twice weekly.
- 41:10Uh,
- 41:11this is a rumor that's been going around for a while that Cash is enjoying,
- 41:13uh,
- 41:14his,
- 41:14uh,
- 41:15tenure.
- 41:15He's,
- 41:15uh,
- 41:16had,
- 41:16uh,
- 41:17His personal life has been,
- 41:19uh,
- 41:19a subject of conversation.
- 41:21I don't know why.
- 41:22I mean,
- 41:22I just want him to do a good job.
- 41:23I don't really care what he does in his personal life.
- 41:24I thought that's what we were supposed to think,
- 41:26uh,
- 41:27but,
- 41:27uh,
- 41:28we will see if,
- 41:28uh,
- 41:29MSNBC goes any farther backing off on this.
- 41:32Uh,
- 41:32we also have Andrew Cuomo in the news.
- 41:34Uh,
- 41:34we have that and we have,
- 41:35uh,
- 41:35what's the other one?
- 41:36Is it Gavin Newsom?
- 41:38Two interesting ones.
- 41:38Let me hit the Gavin Newsom one here as well.
- 41:41Trump called for movie tariffs and Gavin Newsom proposes a tax credit instead.
- 41:45Um.
- 41:46Newsom is finding this way of like trying to form himself into another person,
- 41:50another human being completely.
- 41:52He's
- 41:52super far left.
- 41:53He's the most left guy in the world when
- 41:54he wants to win California primaries and recall elections.
- 41:57Now he's trying to run for president in 2028,
- 42:00so he's
- 42:01he's kind of looking to try to get into that populist center.
- 42:04He's been saying things like maybe men shouldn't play in women's sports and
- 42:09toying with that sort of messaging.
- 42:10He's been.
- 42:11You know,
- 42:12occasionally nice to Trump,
- 42:13trying to kiss up to him,
- 42:15trying to manipulate Trump into giving him what he wants,
- 42:19so he's kind of this like,
- 42:20you know,
- 42:20chameleon,
- 42:21and then we also have Andrew Cuomo who might be the ultimate one.
- 42:23Andrew Cuomo
- 42:24was a same-sex marriage champion.
- 42:27He's not courting LGBT.
- 42:302 votes now.
- 42:33He skipped a couple of big LGBTQ conferences and groups,
- 42:37and they say
- 42:39the president of one of these organizations said we interpreted
- 42:42it to mean that the LGBTQ community doesn't mean jack
- 42:45crap
- 42:46to him.
- 42:47Ignoring these two organizations,
- 42:49both is about as subtle as an atom bomb.
- 42:52Basically he's trying to appeal to
- 42:55Jewish voters that may have thought about voting Republican.
- 42:58Um,
- 42:58uh,
- 42:58black churches he's going after,
- 43:00he's,
- 43:01I guess,
- 43:01the paragon
- 43:03of uh.
- 43:05Of,
- 43:06of values now.
- 43:07So believe that if you will.
- 43:08By the way,
- 43:09did I mention Andrew Cuomo is awful.com?
- 43:12Andrew Cuomo is awful.com.
