Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back
Our exit today has us trying to stop a movie being made based on our likenesses. This week, we are talking about Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, written and directed by Kevin Smith.Along the way, we again return to the work of Kevin Smith after our Dogma episode and the View Askew-a-verse. But we also discuss Ben Affleck, Chasing Amy, meta-narratives, Hollywood satire, cameos, homophobia, Will Ferrell, Shannon Elizabeth, the episodes that work and those that don't, a lot of blowjob jokes, and how this film reads after three seasons of studio comedies.
