  Speaker 1: You know, we've been removed from my season six years,

  Speaker 1: and she's been Imparadise. Has been five years since Paradise

  Speaker 1: I think, or maybe six for her as well. So

  Speaker 1: that's that's going to be very interesting for me. I

  Speaker 1: also want to point out that I have no clue

  Speaker 1: who Haley Malls is zero zero, Like, really, did she

  Speaker 1: go home the first night? Do we have like footage

  Speaker 1: of her even being on the show. It's hard to find. Yeah,

  Speaker 1: I was reading fan feedback and they were like convinced
• 2:58
  Speaker 1: that this is like some producer reck and they're pretending
• 3:01
  Speaker 1: as if she's been on a previous We've got to
• 3:02
  Speaker 1: do some research there. And then, you know, I always

  Speaker 1: thought that Hunter had a bad um just kind of

  Speaker 1: an unfair experience during Clayton's season. You know, she was
• 3:12
  Speaker 1: the one that was ousted for suffering with IBS became
• 3:15
  Speaker 1: a big deal, and I would like to see her
• 3:18
  Speaker 1: kind of shine on the beach. I mean, I could
• 3:20
  Speaker 1: go on and on. I'm very excited for this season.

  Speaker 1: Then Michael A. Michael as a guy that I like,
• 3:25
  Speaker 1: I've I've been able to talk to. He's a great dude,
• 3:27
  Speaker 1: and uh, I think this format could be really good
• 3:30
  Speaker 1: for him. Um and so yeah, I mean, yes, I
• 3:35
  Speaker 1: think this first sand group for me is exciting. I
• 3:40
  Speaker 1: don't know. And Ashley, you and I have been able
• 3:42
  Speaker 1: to talk about this in our podcast. You might be

  Speaker 1: able to help me out here. I don't know who

  Speaker 1: we're missing that I was expecting or excited to see
• 3:49
  Speaker 1: on the beach. I'm most excited about the big three.

  Speaker 1: I want to say, from like Katie season with Andrew,
• 3:56
  Speaker 1: Justin and Michael Ay. Those guys were definitely notably missing
• 4:01
  Speaker 1: from last year's Paradise, but for this year's Paradise, anyone.

  Speaker 1: I mean, I think it's weird that we have such few,
• 4:12
  Speaker 1: so few from this past season Rachel and Gabby. There's
• 4:16
  Speaker 1: like no one here from Rachel Gabby. Obviously they'll be added,
• 4:22
  Speaker 1: but do you know how many are typically from the
• 4:25
  Speaker 1: season that's just airing? And we have to note that
• 4:29
  Speaker 1: it got flipped, so you know, Bachelorette is usually in
• 4:33
  Speaker 1: the fall and Bachelor in Paradise is usually in the summer,
• 4:36
  Speaker 1: and I know it always follows something, but it kind
• 4:39
  Speaker 1: of flipped this season because they put Gabby and Rachel
• 4:43
  Speaker 1: during the summer. Well, I think we're seeing Paradise in
• 4:46
  Speaker 1: the fall past based on the past couple of Bachelor
• 4:49
  Speaker 1: in Paradises. I think we're seeing like the notable characters
• 4:53
  Speaker 1: from the previous Bachelorette season kind of being held back
• 4:56
  Speaker 1: a year or two seeing if they have Bachelor their
• 5:00
  Speaker 1: Bachelor material um, and then doing it the following year. Yeah,
• 5:06
  Speaker 1: that makes sense. So I'm really excited about Serene. I
• 5:10
  Speaker 1: loved her on Andrew on uh, which season was Clayton season?

  Speaker 1: I loved her. I love Michael A too. Everybody. I mean,
• 5:24
  Speaker 1: who doesn't want to root for the you know, the
• 5:27
  Speaker 1: single dad I do. But I do want to say
• 5:32
  Speaker 1: that I would love to see a little bit older
• 5:36
  Speaker 1: crowd like not UM just because you know, I'm I'm
• 5:41
  Speaker 1: the ancient one in the bunch, but I would love
• 5:43
  Speaker 1: to see some people from not especially recent UM seasons.

  Speaker 1: You know. I think that's what's a little bit disappointing
• 5:52
  Speaker 1: is that lace is our only major throwback. Yeah, totally,
• 5:56
  Speaker 1: I love it. Throwback. That's what we are worth, a throwback.

  Speaker 1: excited about the single dad guy about him and uh,

  Speaker 1: and I kind of agree. I would like a little

  Speaker 1: bit throwback to Actually, that was really interesting what you
• 6:25
  Speaker 1: said about kind of letting people marinate a little bit
• 6:28
  Speaker 1: before they put them on Bashing Paradise. I didn't know
• 6:31
  Speaker 1: that was kind of a philosophy of the show at
• 6:33
  Speaker 1: this point. I think that's a great idea. Yeah, and
• 6:37
  Speaker 1: now we're excited to see those guys again. But I
• 6:39
  Speaker 1: do think that like they're holding back guys from this
• 6:42
  Speaker 1: past season, because like, if you think of this season,
• 6:44
  Speaker 1: who's been eliminated on Gabby and Rachel's season that you
• 6:47
  Speaker 1: would have expected to see in the original cast Um
• 6:52
  Speaker 1: Jordan's v Jordan's. I think I got his name right.
• 6:57
  Speaker 1: He's the race car driver who got released. Oh yeah,
• 7:00
  Speaker 1: I loved him, love him. He was awesome. He's married
• 7:06
  Speaker 1: long enough, you know he was kicked off. You want
• 7:08
  Speaker 1: to give him the best chance. That's how I kind
• 7:11
  Speaker 1: of see Paradise is like you want to give people
• 7:14
  Speaker 1: the best opportunity to find love, and it's everybody's kind
• 7:16
  Speaker 1: of second chance, third chance, maybe fourth chance. That's why
• 7:20
  Speaker 1: I think having some like throwbacks it would be really
• 7:23
  Speaker 1: fun because people like from my season maybe who haven't
• 7:26
  Speaker 1: found love yet. And I don't know off the top
• 7:29
  Speaker 1: of my head who those are specifically, but how fun

  Speaker 1: would it be, you know, four or five years later

  Speaker 1: to see them back on the beach, um trying again.

  Speaker 1: We can kind of catch up with their life. I

  Speaker 1: would enjoy it, but I'm biased because that was my season.

  Speaker 1: But even like you know, seasons passed then a little bit,

  Speaker 1: I would like to say. I was just going to say, so,

  Speaker 1: We've had so many people on almost famous o g

  Speaker 1: s that I feel like would be awesome on Paradise

  Speaker 1: Sarah Bryce, who was engaged to Charlie O'Connell. Um, she's

  Speaker 1: seen newly single again. Um, Sadie from Lorenzo's season, who

  Speaker 1: is so much fun and would be hysterical on cameras.

  Speaker 1: My god, I love both of them. Um, I know

  Speaker 1: we've had people on that that definitely would draw people in.

  Speaker 1: I don't know why they're not pulling from you know,

  Speaker 1: seasons past yours? Yeah? Interesting, right? Yeah? Why is it

  Speaker 1: perpetuate because it was awful. Um, So I'm glad to

  Speaker 1: see her back. I think she's so stunning. Agreed, you

  Speaker 1: gotta get, you gotta give. I mean, that's the kind

  Speaker 1: of stuff on Paradise that I love that there's a

  Speaker 1: spinoff show because people like her deserve to be seen

  Speaker 1: in better, fresh new eyes, especially when she didn't have

  Speaker 1: really a great moment to defend herself or like, how

  Speaker 1: seeing the ins and out. She has some time removed.

  Speaker 1: I think for me, if I found myself back on

  Speaker 1: the beach, I do think five years removed, I would

  Speaker 1: I don't want to say care less, I would just

  Speaker 1: have I just be more relaxed. Like it's kind of like,

  Speaker 1: you know, you just kind of get it, You're not

  Speaker 1: so like nervous your second third time around. And so

  Speaker 1: I see her just kind of relaxing and saying what
• 16:50
  Speaker 1: she thinks, what she feels, and what she's seeing. And

  Speaker 1: I think that's great for Paradise. Yeah, and let me say,

  Speaker 1: I the care thing, you're you at it perfectly. She cares,

  Speaker 1: or she wouldn't be there. She just is way more

  Speaker 1: relaxed and totally removed from it, or at least has
• 17:08
  Speaker 1: been for a while so she can let it all. Yeah.

  Speaker 1: When we said she doesn't care, I meant she does

  Speaker 1: not care. She's the center of drama. If she there's

  Speaker 1: any conflict around her, she will face it. She's not scared.

  Speaker 1: That's finally, And I do want to say a little um,

  Speaker 1: a little personal input. My friend Jill is part of

  Speaker 1: this cast, my fellow Rhode Islander, and I know that
• 17:34
  Speaker 1: she may have had some off camera resentment between her
• 17:41
  Speaker 1: and Kira. They may have been fighting over a man
• 17:45
  Speaker 1: before hitting the sand, and we'll see how that unfolds.

  Speaker 1: I think that's enough of a tease that I think

  Speaker 1: that's a fine tease. That's a great tease. And I

  Speaker 1: think we'd be a miss to leave this podcast without

  Speaker 1: love matches. So what do we think it's fallen in love?

  Speaker 1: I'm gonna say from this initial cast what I'm seeing here,

  Speaker 1: I'll give you two couples, right, I don't want to

  Speaker 1: go on and on here. I'm gonna say Brandon Um

  Speaker 1: in Brittany. And then I'm also gonna say I really
• 18:25
  Speaker 1: want to pair up Um Andrew here because I think
• 18:30
  Speaker 1: obviously he's gonna be one of the bigger names on
• 18:33
  Speaker 1: the beach, and I could see Andrew with his like
• 18:37
  Speaker 1: Smiley like jovial personality. Um really finding uh something special
• 18:46
  Speaker 1: with somebody like Teddy because I think he spoke about
• 18:49
  Speaker 1: Teddy when when that season was airing, and I feel
• 18:52
  Speaker 1: like she is similar, like just a smiley, happy person.

  Speaker 1: So those would be the two I'm looking for. Like

  Speaker 1: for the one that surprises me here that I can't
• 19:03
  Speaker 1: quite figure out is Casey. I do kind of remember
• 19:07
  Speaker 1: him from Michelle season, but I feel like he could
• 19:10
  Speaker 1: be a kind of one of those sleeper picks, uh
• 19:14
  Speaker 1: where he finds a relationship here because he maybe isn't
• 19:17
  Speaker 1: the biggest name, he hasn't had maybe the attention others
• 19:20
  Speaker 1: have had, and so I think he's coming here really
