- 0:14SPEAKER_00: Hey guys, welcome back to Surviving Ish.
- 0:18SPEAKER_00: I'm so excited.
- 0:19SPEAKER_00: So you all have known from previous episodes where I've been getting people from Australia, and I got an email from our new friend Christine, who I'm who I will be bringing in.
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: And she is also from Australia.
- 0:35SPEAKER_00: And so I am going to do the thing that she probably hates the most and ask her, what is the future like?
- 0:42SPEAKER_00: Because it is 10 a.m.
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: her time, 8 p.m.
- 0:45SPEAKER_00: my time.
- 0:45SPEAKER_00: So I'm going to ask her, is there anything I need to be prepared for in the next 12 hours?
- 0:51SPEAKER_00: We're still here.
- 0:53SPEAKER_00: He hasn't pushed the button yet.
- 0:55SPEAKER_00: We're still here.
- 0:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I have to throw in a dad joke every now and then.
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: So okay, I'm so excited to have this conversation.
- 1:03SPEAKER_00: I kept trying to go on like, what ish should I want to talk about?
- 1:06SPEAKER_00: And sometimes I scramble and I'm like, it's been a good week.
- 1:11SPEAKER_00: What would I want to vent or bitch about?
- 1:14SPEAKER_00: Today I was like, okay, I need to eliminate at least five of the seven.
- 1:22SPEAKER_00: It's been one of those days.
- 1:24SPEAKER_00: Um but before we get started, please enter introduce yourself to us.
- 1:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:29SPEAKER_01: So my name is Christine Blasdale, and I am the expert authority coach.
- 1:34SPEAKER_01: I'm basically a unicorn in the business coaching field.
- 1:39SPEAKER_01: So I help overwhelmed entrepreneurs, coaches, authors, speakers, thought leaders.
- 1:47SPEAKER_01: I help them get seen.
- 1:48SPEAKER_01: I help them get trusted, which is the most important thing, and then help them get paid for what they already know.
- 1:56SPEAKER_01: And um, I have clients all around the world.
- 1:59SPEAKER_01: I'm so grateful.
- 2:00SPEAKER_01: I'm very grateful and happy to be here in Australia.
- 2:03SPEAKER_01: I've made the permanent move six years ago.
- 2:06SPEAKER_01: I have a whole story around that.
- 2:09SPEAKER_01: Oh, and uh, and COVID and all that great stuff that happened.
- 2:13SPEAKER_01: But I've been here with my wife, who's Australian.
- 2:16SPEAKER_01: I think when I saw Greece, I got I was all crazy about the Aussies.
- 2:20SPEAKER_01: I was like, I want to marry Olivia Newton John.
- 2:23SPEAKER_01: Um yeah.
- 2:24SPEAKER_01: But uh, but yeah, no, I'm I'm just super grateful and and I love my clients.
- 2:29SPEAKER_01: They're they're more like family members and friends to me than than clients.
- 2:34SPEAKER_01: But um, that's what I've been doing.
- 2:36SPEAKER_01: And I I love writing books, I love creating courses and uh and programs that help overwhelmed entrepreneurs get the exposure and the attention that they deserve and that the world really needs.
- 2:51SPEAKER_01: So it's kind of uh it's a fun position to be in.
- 2:54SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yes, absolutely.
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: And and what I think is so cool, and and I've mentioned this on multiple episodes that I've had, is I I identify as an atheist, but sometimes I battle with am I atheist or agnostic?
- 3:10SPEAKER_00: Like I feel like maybe some that something is out there that's greater than me, whether it's God, universe, whatever you want to call it.
- 3:17SPEAKER_00: But I things keep happening.
- 3:21SPEAKER_00: And it's like every time that I'm going through something that could be a life-changing event, whether it's something horrific or something that is next to my career and what I'm trying to do with my podcast, the person that I have on as a guest that week.
- 3:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I know what you're gonna say.
- 3:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, is that person?
- 3:41SPEAKER_00: And so I want to give a little bit of a shout out because I am wearing my brand new merch shirt, surviving-ish.
- 3:49SPEAKER_00: We've got all kinds of cool things coming out with it.
- 3:52SPEAKER_00: This was like the first like prototype they sent to me just to fill it, and I love it.
- 3:55SPEAKER_00: I don't want to take it off, but um, so I'm gonna give a shout out to Productal Goods, they're the ones that put it together.
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: I'll share the link.
- 4:03SPEAKER_00: I don't have anything for sale yet, but again, back to what I was just saying, like the fact that you are this coach, this expert in branding, and I have been trying to when when I started podcasting, I had no mentors.
- 4:21SPEAKER_00: Mine happened over COVID when when my therapy stopped because I'm a gay man in the south.
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: I was a victim of a brutal hate crime.
- 4:29SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'm so sorry.
- 4:30SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I I'm a victim of a brutal hate crime attempted murder because I'm gay.
- 4:36SPEAKER_00: And I didn't realize how much therapy helped me until so the hate crime happened 10 years ago, and then when COVID happened and the world shut down, my therapy shut down, and I didn't realize how much it helped me.
- 4:51SPEAKER_00: And and so I was like, you know what?
- 4:54SPEAKER_00: I need to talk.
- 4:54SPEAKER_00: So I'm gonna I'm gonna find a room in my home, and that's gonna be my vomit corner, get vomit corner, and I'm gonna buy the equipment and start a podcast.
- 5:06SPEAKER_00: My mom will give it a thumbs up on Facebook, and I'll put the equipment in the closet and be done with it.
- 5:13SPEAKER_00: And I was wrong.
- 5:14SPEAKER_00: You know, this has been such beautiful therapy, the connections that I've made, even the straight men that have reached out to me and said I was a victim of sexual assault as well by a woman, and I was told the whole time that you're a straight kid, a hot woman cannot sexually assault you.
- 5:34SPEAKER_00: And I know how that feels because when I was raped and someone tried to kill me, they tried to say, Well, he's a good-looking military guy.
- 5:43SPEAKER_00: You can't rape a gay man.
- 5:45SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you can't.
- 5:46SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
- 5:47SPEAKER_00: I did not give him permission to be inside my body.
- 5:50SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, you know, and so that's where this podcast originated from.
- 5:55SPEAKER_00: And five years later, here we are.
- 5:57SPEAKER_00: And I wanted it to grow and change as I was growing and changing through my therapy, through my growth, um, which is what led us to surviving-ish, because I found that people who were predominant in my life, they saw the growth, you know, and and they started learning how to joke with me again, learning how to accept the new David, and sometimes have to still wear kid gloves with that new David because 10 years ago was not that long.
- 6:25SPEAKER_00: You know, there's a lot of no this man's fingerprints are gonna be in my body till the day that I die.
- 6:31SPEAKER_00: I just have to develop the tools to manage those those things.
- 6:36SPEAKER_00: But I found like during holidays, especially people, you know, that maybe I don't see on a regular basis, they were still, they still saw victim David.
- 6:50SPEAKER_00: And and I appreciated that, but at the same time, it's like you can still joke with me.
- 6:55SPEAKER_00: What I need to know, and I feel that I'm in a safe place to say, you know what, I'm kind of triggered by that joke, or that's not setting well with me, or whatever.
- 7:03SPEAKER_00: And we're all gonna, it's all a safe place for me to say that, for you to receive that, and we we're still gonna be familiar with friends, and so that's why I wanted to develop into surviving ish, where we share these petty grievances, where we talk about these things for people to see me outside of that victim.
- 7:19SPEAKER_00: The fact that, like, I still, yeah, someone raped me, yeah, someone tried to kill me, yeah.
- 7:24SPEAKER_00: I had to learn how to walk again, yeah.
- 7:26SPEAKER_00: I faced them in court.
- 7:27SPEAKER_00: My trauma is no bigger than anyone else's, and I still get pissed off at five o'clock traffic.
- 7:32SPEAKER_00: And all those things can be true at the same time, right?
- 7:36SPEAKER_00: Yes, yes, they can be.
- 7:38SPEAKER_00: So I want to that that's my long tangent into uh my question of how I like to start the show is what is your surviving ish?
- 7:46SPEAKER_00: What is that petty, fun little grievance that you're dealing with right now?
- 7:52SPEAKER_01: Gosh, you know, and and and I mean I know when I had when I had reached out to you to be on the show, I I think I gave you some some examples, and now I'm can't now I can't remember them.
- 8:02SPEAKER_01: But I'm sure I'll I'm sure I'll have, you know, we our we were talking just the other day about our our kids.
- 8:08SPEAKER_01: My my wife and I, um, we have two two wonderful children that have flown the nest, so to speak, right?
- 8:15SPEAKER_01: So they've they've moved out with their significant others, and so that's fabulous, and we're very supportive of that.
- 8:24SPEAKER_01: But I remember when they were here, I used to I I used to just go crazy.
- 8:29SPEAKER_01: I would go into the bathroom and there'd be that empty toilet paper roll.
- 8:33SPEAKER_01: And I think every parent knows that that thing of going in and going, are you fucking kidding me?
- 8:41SPEAKER_01: Like, what are you animals?
- 8:44SPEAKER_01: Uh it's the little things, it's interesting because you kind of you I we miss them, but at the same time, uh there's those things that I remember.
- 8:52SPEAKER_01: I remember going in and grabbing a thing of milk and there's two drops left.
- 8:56SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 8:56SPEAKER_01: Put back in the refrigerator.
- 8:58SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 8:59SPEAKER_01: Why?
- 8:59SPEAKER_01: So I think there's some things, there's some issues that you have as a parent, and yet and you you miss them, you miss their presence in your in your house.
- 9:10SPEAKER_01: Um, we do get to see them quite often, so that's so at least we're not we're not completely apart from them, so we get to see them a little bit.
- 9:17SPEAKER_01: But I would say, you know, I'll tell you and based on my on my business too, as um an expert authority coach, there's oh I actually have to from time to time, not often, but from time to time, I have to refuse certain people that that come to me, right?
- 9:38SPEAKER_01: That they say, I want you to help me with my branding or my website or my offers, my communication, my messaging, blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 9:45SPEAKER_01: And I will take the time to have a 30-minute free consultation.
- 9:52SPEAKER_01: I do this for everyone because it's the only way I get to know what kind of business you have, what you what your expertise is, so that I can showcase you and get you more attention and get you paid and all that stuff.
- 10:04SPEAKER_01: So I have this these consultations and um call them discovery calls.
- 10:09SPEAKER_01: And there's a few times where I've had to basically say, I'm not the right person for you.
- 10:15SPEAKER_01: Even though, yes, I would love to have them be a client, and I of course I could use more clients and more money, that's fantastic.
- 10:22SPEAKER_01: But uh, those are the people too that everything that comes out of their mouth is negative.
- 10:30SPEAKER_01: And they say that they want to be, I want to be a coach, and I want to get more clients, and I want to do I want to help people, but then everything out of their mouth is negative.
- 10:39SPEAKER_01: Or if I come up with a if I've got an idea or a suggestion, here's a strategy that I would do if I were you, and they poo-poo it, right?
- 10:49SPEAKER_01: Immediately.
- 10:51SPEAKER_01: And I find that with those people, they will always find the glass half empty, never half full.
- 10:59SPEAKER_01: And I just don't waste my time, my breath on those folks because it's gonna be an uphill battle.
- 11:05SPEAKER_01: I'll be I'll be pulling teeth the whole way, and they're not gonna be successful, no matter what I do.
- 11:14SPEAKER_01: And so I want I want people to I want people that after they work with me, they can see a before and an after, and there's this huge transformation so that they when they recall working with me, or many people continue to work with me f for years, but I want them to go, I am so glad that Christine Blasdale came into my life.
- 11:38SPEAKER_00: I got my money's worth, I learned.
- 11:40SPEAKER_01: I've got more than my money's worth, I've got beautiful video testimonials from clients who have taken the time to to go on video and record and the and saying, you know, not only did Christine help me with this, but she opened me up to this, that, and the other, and and networking and all of this other stuff.
- 12:03SPEAKER_01: And when they say it was way well worth the money, I got so much more than what I expected.
- 12:10SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 12:11SPEAKER_01: That as a coach or as a teacher, is that makes you so happy.
- 12:14SPEAKER_01: But yeah, my ish is when people are just everything is negative, they feel that they're a victim all the time, somebody else's fault, somebody else's issue, and um, yeah, I don't have time for that.
- 12:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 12:28SPEAKER_00: And I admire that because there are people that we all know, we've all come across, that could have the mindset of, okay, I know that they're not ready for me, but I'm ready for their money.
- 12:41SPEAKER_00: So I'm gonna take the money and I'm gonna give them, I'm gonna give them what they put in, which is gonna be nothing, and then they're gonna leave unhappy.
- 12:51SPEAKER_00: And the creator, the, the, the, the, the person in charge might not be thinking at the time of what that's gonna mean for their credibility and their name.
- 13:00SPEAKER_00: And but they're looking at that dollar, right?
- 13:03SPEAKER_00: Because maybe they're just starting this new business.
- 13:05SPEAKER_00: And so, so I appreciate that you were like, I'm not gonna take your money, you're not gonna take my time, we're not a fit.
- 13:13SPEAKER_01: No, because and this is the crux of what I work with all my clients is this is your business.
- 13:21SPEAKER_01: If you're a coach, if you're a solopreneur or an author or a speaker, your business is you are the brand, you the person, and we all have an energy, we all have an imprint, right?
- 13:36SPEAKER_01: So when I sent you my information and you maybe you went to my website or you looked at my media kit, right?
- 13:42SPEAKER_01: There's a photo, there's an image that I have, and I use that, and that image has opened up so many doors for me because as soon as you see it, it's a pure expression of joy on my face.
- 13:53SPEAKER_01: You can't even see my eyes if you if you look at the picture.
- 13:58SPEAKER_01: But I have my headphones on, I have a microphone in front of me, so I'm in my habitat, my natural habitat, but you cannot see my eyes because I'm I have this expression of joy on my face.
- 14:10SPEAKER_01: It's either that I'm laughing or I'm just having a ball.
- 14:13SPEAKER_01: But that's an energy imprint, and we all have energy and emitting from us, and so that when I'm working with clients, especially on their branding, I am like, what kind of energy, what kind of bat signal are you putting out?
- 14:28SPEAKER_01: Is it desperation?
- 14:30SPEAKER_01: Is it scarcity mindset?
- 14:33SPEAKER_01: Or is it I am so happy and I am so confident in my skills, no ego attached, no arrogance.
- 14:40SPEAKER_01: It's just I'm damn good at what I do, that we can work with.
- 14:46unknown: Yeah.
- 14:47SPEAKER_00: I love that.
- 14:48SPEAKER_00: And before I get into my ish, I can totally relate to that.
- 14:50SPEAKER_00: And I haven't said this out loud to the community before, just because that the opportunity hasn't presented itself, but there have been a few people, especially when my podcast was predominantly sharing survivor stories.
- 15:08SPEAKER_00: There have been a few people that have found a safe place with me, and I wear that with a badge of honor.
- 15:14SPEAKER_00: And I'll record with them, but during the recording, I can tell that they're not in a safe place for themselves to share that story.
- 15:23SPEAKER_00: Maybe, maybe they're maybe their divorce isn't finalized, maybe their trauma is too soon and they haven't had the right therapy.
- 15:30SPEAKER_00: And I a few times have been in that position of having to go to this person and say, I see you and I hear you, but I don't know that my platform is a place for you to be seen and heard by others right now.
- 15:51SPEAKER_00: And and because that that can be perceived beautifully, or it can be perceived by the middle finger.
- 15:56SPEAKER_00: And you know, because sometimes people don't know that they're not ready until they figure out that they're not ready, and it isn't usually me telling them they're not ready for that lob switch to flip.
- 16:08SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and but but I'm not gonna put someone in a place that is gonna do more damage because they here and now, because I'm trying to save some kind of face.
- 16:18SPEAKER_00: You may hate me right now.
- 16:19SPEAKER_00: If I were if I spend an hour, two hours recording with you, if I spend the time and money editing, if people come back to me off record and say, I don't know that this is the best time and place for them, and then I have to go break that news to you, I'm okay if you hate me because you won't hate me long.
- 16:39SPEAKER_00: Because eventually the light switch is gonna flip and you'll be like, Oh, this is what David was saying.
- 16:45SPEAKER_00: Now I will say I always keep their episode, I don't trash it, I keep it in a file.
- 16:53SPEAKER_00: If at some point they contact me and they seem ready, then I still have the episode, and maybe we take clips from, maybe we do something magical with it.
- 17:02SPEAKER_00: Sometimes maybe they just need to hear that episode themselves without it being public to hear them say it out loud.
- 17:10SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's so good.
- 17:12SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's so good.
- 17:13SPEAKER_01: Then it gives them the opportunity to go, look, David, I am I am so okay with that.
- 17:20SPEAKER_01: Or you know what?
- 17:21SPEAKER_01: After listening to that, I realize that, oh, what if my what if my kids hear that or all those different things that we don't think about necessarily all the time.
- 17:30SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 17:31SPEAKER_00: So I so I still know, yeah.
- 17:33SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so I I appreciate the way that you're handling things and and it's not about the dollar.
- 17:38SPEAKER_00: The the money's always great and perfect, but so is the time away from your family, the thing, the sacrifices you have to make to earn that dollar, you know.
- 17:48SPEAKER_01: And I want to look forward, I look for 99.9% of the time I look forward to my first clients in the morning.
- 17:57SPEAKER_01: You know, I and I get I work early, really early, because I'm up against the international time zones.
- 18:03SPEAKER_01: Okay, so I start at six, which means I get up a little bit after five, and I'm not a morning person, but I perk up.
- 18:10SPEAKER_01: And so it's my life force.
- 18:13SPEAKER_01: It's my when I don't I'm I'm the kind of coach who's really I'm a teacher.
- 18:19SPEAKER_01: I've always wanted to be a teacher since I was little, but we didn't have coaches when I was little.
- 18:23SPEAKER_01: When I was little, a coach was a softball coach or a football coach.
- 18:26SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 18:26SPEAKER_01: We didn't have business coaches, we didn't have social media coaches or anything like that.
- 18:32SPEAKER_01: But the thing is, is that it's a transfer of energy.
- 18:36SPEAKER_01: And if I have someone who has energy that I don't feel is in is congruent with mine, then it's a drain.
- 18:44SPEAKER_01: And I don't want to be drained.
- 18:46SPEAKER_01: I look forward to Monday mornings.
- 18:49SPEAKER_01: I look forward to being with my clients because I know we're gonna get a lot done and they're gonna be blown away.
- 18:57SPEAKER_01: I just today, just so right before this conversation, one of my clients is um a therapist, a sex addiction and pornography addiction therapist.
- 19:06SPEAKER_01: Love him.
- 19:07SPEAKER_00: I would love to be introduced to him if he does podcasts.
- 19:10SPEAKER_01: Oh, I'm going to introduce you because I need to get him on podcasts.
- 19:13SPEAKER_01: And he's got he just started his he just started his own podcast.
- 19:16SPEAKER_01: Oh wow.
- 19:17SPEAKER_01: And it's called the The Compassionate Recovery Podcast.
- 19:20SPEAKER_01: And he's got a voice of a god.
- 19:22SPEAKER_01: He speaks into the microphone, and I was like, oh my God.
- 19:24SPEAKER_01: I said, You gotta have a podcast.
- 19:28SPEAKER_01: He says, Oh, that's what I want.
- 19:29SPEAKER_01: So we're we've developed one.
- 19:31SPEAKER_01: Today was the today was the day where we uploaded the first five episodes and we submitted it to Apple Podcasts, and just a couple minutes ago, I said, Congratulations, it's up on Apple Podcasts.
- 19:45SPEAKER_01: Here's this here's your show.
- 19:47SPEAKER_01: And he was so moved, and there were like tears in his eyes, you know, and he felt so good and so accomplished.
- 19:55SPEAKER_01: That to me is such a huge reward.
- 19:57SPEAKER_01: Remember when it was just a concept, or you just thought, hey, this would be cool to do.
- 20:03SPEAKER_01: And then we took it and we each session, each week, we work together, and I'm showing him how to record it, showing him how to edit, and showing him and now he can now he can say he's he's a podcaster and he's got a show on.
- 20:16SPEAKER_01: And he can help so many people. 'Cause because there is a problem.
- 20:20SPEAKER_01: There's there's there's a problem.
- 20:21SPEAKER_01: And he knows because he he was an addict himself and then got the help that he needed and became this amazing therapist.
- 20:31SPEAKER_01: He's got offices in different parts of the US, but now he's also gonna be a coach as well.
- 20:37SPEAKER_01: So I'm just like that's that to me see I look forward to working with Jeremy.
- 20:42SPEAKER_01: I look forward to being with him because also he's open, he's open to ideas, he's open to my to my expertise.
- 20:51SPEAKER_00: Yeah if that makes sense.
- 20:52SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 20:53SPEAKER_00: 100% it does.
- 20:54SPEAKER_00: I I can relate because I look forward to these conversations.
- 20:58SPEAKER_00: When I look at my calendar and I'm like, oh, I have to schedule dinner or whatever around this podcast meeting, I'm so happy to do that because there's not one, there's not a single person that I've ever had on my show that I don't have ongoing conversations with that that isn't lacking commenting, listening, whether they're a podcaster or not.
- 21:21SPEAKER_00: You know, like and so you know, people ask me all the time, would well no, let me tell them that people do not ask me all the time.
- 21:29SPEAKER_00: I was on, I was a guest on a podcast and they want to do rapid fire questions.
- 21:33SPEAKER_00: And they asked me one of the rapid fire questions is would you change what happened to you?
- 21:41SPEAKER_00: And immediately I said no.
- 21:44SPEAKER_00: And you can see in real time, I was like, the fuck?
- 21:49SPEAKER_00: You know, because I didn't I didn't even expect to answer it that way.
- 21:52SPEAKER_00: Like I had to go outside afterwards and ground myself, have a glass of wine, put my feet in the grass on the grass, pray whatever it is.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: Because I was like, what does that mean?
- 22:03SPEAKER_00: But I would not have been a podcaster.
- 22:06SPEAKER_00: I never listened to podcasts before what happened to me.
- 22:10SPEAKER_00: Um, everyone that is in my life now is able to, they've been a victim of something where they've I've been a safe place for them to share their story.
- 22:22SPEAKER_00: And I've traveled to be with these people, and they've traveled to be with me outside of recordings.
- 22:28SPEAKER_00: Like these are these people have become my family and my friends.
- 22:32SPEAKER_00: They're they're the most amazing people that I would not have met if it wasn't for what happened.
- 22:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah, no, yeah, I will not wish for what happened to me to happen, but I learned how to drive the car, and I'm a good goddamn driver.
- 22:49SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean?
- 22:50SPEAKER_00: Like, like I learned how to drive the car, and and I'm not I'm not mad at it anymore.
- 22:55SPEAKER_00: But it took them asking me that question, and you can even see in camera, I was like, because they they messaged me and like, we really want to make this into a real, but you can see as much Botox as you get, you your face moved.
- 23:09SPEAKER_00: And I was like, you know what?
- 23:10SPEAKER_00: Like, but it was so raw, it was so real.
- 23:13SPEAKER_00: I was like, no, I I want it, I want it there.
- 23:17SPEAKER_00: And so yeah, one of the questions I would love to ask your client if you ever want to send one to me, and I know this is kind of off topic or whatever, but I had a health, uh I had a healthy sex life before my rape.
- 23:38SPEAKER_00: It was 10 years ago.
- 23:39SPEAKER_00: I was 34 when it happened.
- 23:41SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean?
- 23:42SPEAKER_00: I had a healthy sex life, I knew what healthy consensual sex was.
- 23:49SPEAKER_00: One time with a stranger that I would not be able to pick out in a crowd, that I have no memory of, changed the definition of sex for me.
- 24:00SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 24:01SPEAKER_00: And when when after a couple of years uh uh of me learning how to walk and talk and be secure enough to live on my own again, I became unhealthily uh sexual to try to trigger myself because I wanted to remember.
- 24:21SPEAKER_01: Oh, right.
- 24:22SPEAKER_00: My bad guy, my bad guy knew what I looked like taking my last breath.
- 24:27SPEAKER_00: My bad guy knew all these things that I did not know about me, and it pissed me off, right?
- 24:32SPEAKER_00: And so I was trying to trigger myself.
- 24:34SPEAKER_00: Well, then, luckily through amazing therapy, I got past that and I got into an amazing relationship.
- 24:41SPEAKER_00: We were together for seven years.
- 24:42SPEAKER_00: He's the most amazing guy in my life.
- 24:44SPEAKER_00: We're not together any longer, unfortunately.
- 24:46SPEAKER_00: But one of the demises of the relationship is I thought if I did not have sex with him, that was me showing him love because I was tainted, I was gross.
- 24:59SPEAKER_00: I I so because my definition of sex changed.
- 25:03SPEAKER_00: So where he felt neglected, where he was needing things that I wasn't giving him, I thought I was giving him everything because having sex with me was punishment.
- 25:13SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 25:14SPEAKER_00: You know, and and so we're clashing.
- 25:16SPEAKER_00: And and that was in the core of us breaking up, but it played a big factor in it.
- 25:21SPEAKER_00: And so I'm on this journey right now of trying to redefine what sex is to me, and I would love to talk to your client.
- 25:28SPEAKER_00: If he would love to talk to me, I would love to talk to you.
- 25:30SPEAKER_01: Oh my gosh.
- 25:31SPEAKER_01: No, I will I will do an introduction to the two of you.
- 25:33SPEAKER_01: First of all, you're you're both lovely and you're both my family now, so too late.
- 25:37SPEAKER_01: You can't escape.
- 25:38SPEAKER_01: But I think also what you were saying earlier about, you know, not that you would wish that upon you, what what happened, but because of what you experienced, you have been able to also help so many people and who are who feel that they're the only ones, right?
- 26:01SPEAKER_01: Or they have so much shame wrapped around it and so much turned inward self-hatred and beating themselves up, you know, like how stupid, how stupid of I you was I to take that drink that somebody offered me, and and you know, and then they were raped because of a a you know, drug in their drink, or oh, how stupid of me to take that ride in that unmarked cab or whatever all these things that we do, we beat ourselves up.
- 26:26SPEAKER_01: And I think it's really important that you are able to tell that story and come from a place of it didn't change who I am, the core of my soul.
- 26:41SPEAKER_01: And in so many respects, the things that happen to us change us.
- 26:46SPEAKER_01: You know, I've done um one of the books that I've written is called Um Interview with the Narcissist.
- 26:52SPEAKER_01: And there's all different kinds of levels of narcissism, right?
- 26:55SPEAKER_01: And but there's like the malignant narcissist that's in the White House right now.
- 27:00SPEAKER_01: We have um expression.
- 27:03SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 27:04SPEAKER_01: We we have uh we have those, we have uh all all different levels, but a lot of times and I had my own experience with the narcissist who I didn't know I didn't I didn't I could never in my wildest imagination think that someone would do that to some to myself or anyone to pretend that they were madly in love with you in order to extract energy like a vampire.
- 27:32SPEAKER_01: That's why I called it interview with the narcissist, and it's all set like in a Anne Rice kind of novel type setting.
- 27:39SPEAKER_01: But I was like, who would do that for over a year?
- 27:45SPEAKER_01: Like I it never even dawned on me, and it was a woman, it was a w right, who was who was saying, oh you're a my soulmate and I love you so much.
- 27:53SPEAKER_01: And then I when I found out when I discovered she was doing this with many other people, and the triangulation and the lies and the they're very good actors as well, but it was to siphon energy off of me, and the first thing was was I I my heart was destroyed into dust, and I became somebody who said, I don't trust men, I don't trust women, I only trust my little toy poodle, so I'm gonna live the rest of my life by myself, I'll be happy.
- 28:28SPEAKER_01: And it it was it had the potential of changing me and not trusting people.
- 28:35SPEAKER_01: And the thing is, is that would have changed Christine and then they would have not only hurt me, but then they would have destroyed me.
- 28:47SPEAKER_01: And just like a month after that, maybe two months after that, my wife, who is my wife now, she found me on Instagram, and she was just like this woman, blonde, an Australian, and she started inboxing me, and I thought to God, you are cruel.
- 29:06SPEAKER_01: Like, what kind of bastard are you?
- 29:08SPEAKER_01: You're gonna do this to me again?
- 29:10SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna be catfished or ghosted or it's gonna be some crazy person.
- 29:16SPEAKER_01: And it was just testing me.
- 29:19SPEAKER_01: It was like, Christine, this is and she was the person, my human.
- 29:26SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 29:28SPEAKER_01: And I'm so glad that I didn't run away.
- 29:30SPEAKER_01: It took me I was gun shy.
- 29:32SPEAKER_01: I was still like I was like a dog that had been hit.
- 29:34SPEAKER_01: I was like, I don't know, are you but uh the thing is is that it those kind of things that happen in our life can really change us.
- 29:44SPEAKER_01: And narcissists, what I found is that very early on, usually in their developmental stage, when they're bet zero and seven, a lot of times they are victims of abuse within the family, sexual trauma, mental abuse, physical abuse.
- 30:01SPEAKER_01: And what happens is something in them shuts off, and it's their empathy.
- 30:05SPEAKER_01: When you lack empathy, it's a very scary thing.
- 30:10SPEAKER_01: You become like the person in the White House.
- 30:12SPEAKER_01: You have no empathy.
- 30:13SPEAKER_01: You could somebody could be dying in front of you, and you just walk over them.
- 30:16SPEAKER_01: You don't care.
- 30:17SPEAKER_01: You don't care.
- 30:18SPEAKER_01: And so, but that happens because at a very young age, a lot of times they have trauma and they shut themselves off.
- 30:24SPEAKER_01: Where other people might have DID, just you know, multiple personalities to deal with it.
- 30:29SPEAKER_01: They just go, you know what?
- 30:31SPEAKER_01: When I get older, I'm gonna hurt somebody just like they hurt me.
- 30:36SPEAKER_00: Well, and and I think that 100% everything you said is so true.
- 30:40SPEAKER_00: And and it one of the things that we talk about a lot on the show is that multiple things can be true at the same time, right?
- 30:46SPEAKER_00: Like we can understand that this that my bad guy probably had an abusive past, has probably been a victim of something.
- 30:58SPEAKER_00: That does not negate or minimize what he did to me.
- 31:02SPEAKER_00: But what we need right, but what we need to really focus on is how do we get to the core of the problem?
- 31:08SPEAKER_00: Because if we have all these people in prison who have done all these assaults or crimes are victims of something, let's get to the core of the problem.
- 31:20SPEAKER_00: Putting them in jail for a few days and taking a couple hundred bucks isn't changing anything until we get to the core of the problem of mental health and the importance of it, and the fact that two things can be true at the same time.
- 31:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah, this person had some crazy crap that happened to them, but they also did crazy crap to me.
- 31:40SPEAKER_00: Both those things can be true, um, they can be uh penalized or or punished or whatever separately.
- 31:51SPEAKER_00: But I want what what I want is for my attacker to get out of prison and be someone that I would be okay living next door to me and my children.
- 32:00SPEAKER_00: But in America, we're not rehabilitating.
- 32:04SPEAKER_01: No, and there's some people that are not rehab rehabation, rehab, they're not able to be rehabilitable.
- 32:10SPEAKER_01: Rehabilitable.
- 32:12SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 32:12SPEAKER_01: We can pick up your words.
- 32:15SPEAKER_01: But you're right, but you're but you're right.
- 32:17SPEAKER_01: It's what we have to go back to the core issue.
- 32:21SPEAKER_01: And you see, like when I was young, when I was a child, my father was an alcoholic.
- 32:26SPEAKER_01: My mother was complete opposite, very she's from Morocco, very French European, loved me so much, like would constantly say how much she loved me.
- 32:36SPEAKER_01: And I felt safe with her.
- 32:38SPEAKER_01: With my dad, on the other hand, alcoholic, son of a child of alcoholics, okay.
- 32:44SPEAKER_01: He came from a family where he would get the belt.
- 32:47SPEAKER_01: And so when he got frustrated and he was smashed, I got the belt, okay?
- 32:52SPEAKER_01: And I was terrified of my father for many, many years.
- 32:56SPEAKER_01: It's only, and when you're a kid, you know, you you're able to compartmentalize things, you're able to go, this I'm getting beaten over something very small, and this is a way overreaction.
- 33:10SPEAKER_01: And we take a moment, we will either replicate that behavior with other people and say, This happened to me, so I'm gonna do it to other people, or as a child, I remember specifically seven, eight years old getting hit with a belt and saying, I will never ever have someone that I know feel this way.
- 33:38SPEAKER_01: I would never do this to anyone, my worst enemy.
- 33:42SPEAKER_01: I would never because I knew what it felt like, right?
- 33:45SPEAKER_01: So that that uh curse, that family curse or whatever was stopped.
- 33:50SPEAKER_01: Also, I'm not an alcoholic.
- 33:51SPEAKER_01: I love to have a drink every now and then, love my sake, but I've seen what alcoholism does to people and it's gross.
- 33:59SPEAKER_01: It creates more problems, right?
- 34:02SPEAKER_01: You're drinking to solve a problem.
- 34:03SPEAKER_01: I need a drink, and then you create more problems.
- 34:06SPEAKER_01: But the thing is, is that I'm able to now as an adult to look back and to see my dad and see why he was the way he was.
- 34:15SPEAKER_01: It doesn't forgive him for that or for doing those things and crossing the line, but I'm able to look at it and go, so we need to stop, we need to fix those things early.
- 34:30SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 34:30SPEAKER_01: So we don't pass them on, we don't harm our children, we don't harm the trend of generational abuse, right?
- 34:36SPEAKER_00: You said, I'm not doing this with my children, and then you're also able to look at your father and recognize that that there was abuse with his child in his childhood.
- 34:48SPEAKER_00: So then now, and where and I want to try to say this the best way that I can not a doctor, not elegant with words, but I'm a white man, and I'll be the first to say I think a lot of the core of the problem is with the white men.
- 35:13SPEAKER_00: Hallelujah.
- 35:14SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 35:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like for example, when uh when when my attorney got the discoveries of my attack, the uh my attacker told the policeman that he had murdered me because I sexually propositioned him.
- 35:32SPEAKER_00: Here's the thing if that was the case, it would have been two consensual adults, no need to murder me.
- 35:41SPEAKER_00: But then in court, he mentioned that was not true, that I did not sexually proposition him.
- 35:47SPEAKER_00: He did not know that I was following him home or that uh he was following me home and coming into my home, but that he knew that if he said that to the police, they would go easier on him.
- 35:59SPEAKER_00: And so on the discovery, the policeman said, Sounds like two boys are fighting out in the front yard and one of them lost.
- 36:08SPEAKER_00: That's the mentality that we go to, right?
- 36:11SPEAKER_00: They had not found my body yet.
- 36:13SPEAKER_00: They stopped and bought him a pack of cigarettes so he could smoke a cigarette and took him through McDonald's drive-thru.
- 36:20SPEAKER_00: What?
- 36:21SPEAKER_00: Because he was the victim, because he was propositioned allegedly by Faggett, right?
- 36:29SPEAKER_00: Right, and he and he knew that he could say that, and they would go back to the city.
- 36:33SPEAKER_00: And they would go, yep, I'd do the same thing.
- 36:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah, right.
- 36:37SPEAKER_00: And the discovery shows that's why when I saw that immediately, I was like, I had to.
- 36:45SPEAKER_00: You're in the south?
- 36:46SPEAKER_00: I'm in Tennessee.
- 36:48SPEAKER_00: Oh I'm in Knoxville.
- 36:51SPEAKER_00: David, come to Australia, mate.
- 36:54SPEAKER_00: Well, you know, so before today's administrative shit, I was like, you know what?
- 37:02SPEAKER_00: Uh because people ask me all the time, like, you still live in the same town.
- 37:06SPEAKER_00: Why are you there?
- 37:07SPEAKER_00: And I said, because there's other little Davids out there that I'm going to prevent this from happening to.
- 37:12SPEAKER_00: I'm not the only little gay boy out here.
- 37:15SPEAKER_00: I'm not the little, I'm not the only elementary school kid that that felt.
- 37:20SPEAKER_00: I'm going to bring awareness to this.
- 37:22SPEAKER_00: I survived this for a reason.
- 37:24SPEAKER_00: And if I can change anyone, it's not in vain.
- 37:27SPEAKER_00: And if I up and I leave and I go to New York or I go to California where I'm more accepted, then I'm leaving behind the kids that don't have that choice yet.
- 37:36SPEAKER_00: And I can be that big brother to them without them even freaking knowing I'm here, right?
- 37:40SPEAKER_00: And so that was kind of my mindset.
- 37:42SPEAKER_00: However, today's America's kind of changing that.
- 37:47SPEAKER_01: David, I left six years ago, and I got the last flight out of Los Angeles when COVID happened.
- 37:54SPEAKER_01: Australia shut their borders for the whole country, shut it down, and I landed that same night.
- 37:59SPEAKER_01: They shut it at midnight.
- 38:00SPEAKER_01: I got there about 9:30 at night.
- 38:03SPEAKER_01: And this was six years ago, a little over, yeah.
- 38:07SPEAKER_01: I don't recognize America.
- 38:10SPEAKER_01: I don't recognize it.
- 38:12SPEAKER_01: I was living in um Ventura County area.
- 38:17SPEAKER_01: I grew up in Los Angeles, so we're talking multicultural.
- 38:22SPEAKER_01: I love my Mexican friends, I love my black friends, I love my Cuban friends, my Asian friends, my Jewish friends, my Muslim friends.
- 38:33SPEAKER_01: And it's not the same.
- 38:38SPEAKER_01: I have friends that live in Ventura and they said the fields are empty.
- 38:44SPEAKER_01: There's nobody working because they're afraid to come out of their house.
- 38:48SPEAKER_01: Everybody is on high alert.
- 38:52SPEAKER_01: Which is what happens when you grow up in an abusive home.
- 38:55SPEAKER_01: You don't know who's coming through that door.
- 38:58SPEAKER_01: You don't know if it's nice, you know, nice dad or or mean dad.
- 39:03SPEAKER_01: And right now there's a lot of power that is being exerted on people.
- 39:08SPEAKER_01: And it's kind of like that the the frog in the pot.
- 39:12SPEAKER_01: You don't put the frog in hot water because it'll jump right out.
- 39:14SPEAKER_01: You slowly turn up the heat, and after a while, the frog doesn't even realize and he's being cooked.
- 39:21SPEAKER_01: And we are the heat has been turned up.
- 39:24unknown: Yeah.
- 39:24SPEAKER_00: I mean, in America.
- 39:26SPEAKER_00: That's the cult mentality, right?
- 39:27SPEAKER_00: Like some people have it and some don't.
- 39:30SPEAKER_00: I look back and I can see and I'm like, what the hell?
- 39:34SPEAKER_00: And there are some people that uh look at me and think, What the hell?
- 39:40SPEAKER_00: I just I when I moved into my home after after my partner and I split up, I was living by myself, and I met a guy strictly platonic, like a friend.
- 39:53SPEAKER_00: He knows very little English.
- 39:56SPEAKER_00: He's here on asylum from Venezuela, and I'm paid to break his lease for him to move in with me.
- 40:06SPEAKER_00: And we have air tags, we have multiple copies of his documents hidden, hidden in his car, my car, uh basement, because I'm terrified for him.
- 40:21SPEAKER_00: And I want to be that safe place.
- 40:23SPEAKER_00: And if at least if I can trace that air tag as far as I can, um, we we have a we have a text message pre-programmed in his phone.
- 40:33SPEAKER_00: If he gets pulled over or anything, he hits send and I get that text message.
- 40:38SPEAKER_00: And I know that I need to start tracking, that I need to figure out what's up and do whatever I can.
- 40:43SPEAKER_00: I'm a small person, I don't have a lot of power, but I'm at least gonna know that he's in jeopardy, and I'm not gonna close my eyes until I have answers.
- 40:56SPEAKER_01: And see, who would have thought if you wrote that in a book or you said you pitched it as a movie to Hollywood 10 years ago, six years ago, yeah, uh, they would have to they would have thrown you out of the office and go, that's crazy.
- 41:12SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that will never happen.
- 41:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 41:14SPEAKER_01: And then we see what's happening with our trans brothers and sisters.
- 41:19SPEAKER_01: Uh we see what's happening with them.
- 41:23SPEAKER_01: And it's just and a lot of people around the world, outside of the United States, too, are saying, What the fuck is going on?
- 41:35SPEAKER_01: And who is going to stop this?
- 41:39SPEAKER_01: Who is gonna stop this?
- 41:41SPEAKER_01: Because it's getting it's and I mean, and just seeing a crazy person's rants on social media talking about nuking an entire civilization out of existence, like it's these family child play.
- 41:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah, they're they're they're all like, oh, we're family first, but you're okay with these kids starving to death.
- 42:02SPEAKER_00: You're okay with and the fact that you hate immigrants, but Elon Musk is now a trillionaire because of what we have given him.
- 42:14SPEAKER_00: The only difference is he's white.
- 42:18SPEAKER_00: He's an immigrant, but he's white.
- 42:20SPEAKER_01: But he's got money.
- 42:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 42:22SPEAKER_00: Well, and he's got money mostly because of us, because of the what he's a love card.
- 42:26SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean?
- 42:27SPEAKER_00: Of course.
- 42:28SPEAKER_01: And look at Melania Trump.
- 42:29SPEAKER_01: She's also it she got to the United States on an Einstein visa.
- 42:34SPEAKER_01: Now, you know how hard it is to get to the United States in an Einstein visa?
- 42:39SPEAKER_01: It means that you are absolutely brilliant, or you have such a you know, have an invention or a cure for some disease.
- 42:46SPEAKER_00: She's lived here for 30 years, so she knows five languages, and I can't understand a damn thing she said.
- 42:52SPEAKER_00: And and and I and I don't mean that disrespectful toward people who are learning languages, but she does not know five languages.
- 42:59SPEAKER_00: She does not know five, she's not a genius.
- 43:02SPEAKER_00: She, in my opinion, was a sex worker, which I respect.
- 43:08SPEAKER_00: But I don't respect her because you you she has all the answers.
- 43:13SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 43:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 43:16SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 43:18SPEAKER_01: There's a few people, there's a few, there's a few people who could help wrap this whole thing up.
- 43:23SPEAKER_01: But uh but the you know, it's just such a strange uh place to be, space to be, because uh you know my homeland is America, uh Los Angeles.
- 43:35SPEAKER_01: The city of Angels is what it's called.
- 43:38SPEAKER_01: Los Angeles, City of Angels.
- 43:41SPEAKER_01: And um and like I said, I just I don't recognize the the country anymore.
- 43:46SPEAKER_01: I really don't.
- 43:48SPEAKER_01: And that that is a shame because America used to stand for it was the the golden beacon, you know, it was the place that all all kinds of things can happen if you put if You work hard and you, you know, you get there, there's opportunities for all of our different families and generations.
- 44:07SPEAKER_01: And it's just it's not the same.
- 44:09SPEAKER_01: It's just changed.
- 44:10SPEAKER_01: Unless you have a lot of money.
- 44:11SPEAKER_01: You can buy a Trump gold card for whatever, a million or five million or something.
- 44:16SPEAKER_00: Whatever it is today.
- 44:18SPEAKER_00: But you know what?
- 44:19SPEAKER_00: Here's here's my thought.
- 44:21SPEAKER_00: This is all alleged.
- 44:22SPEAKER_00: My thought, not an expert.
- 44:24SPEAKER_00: All those legal things my attorney tells me to say over and over.
- 44:27SPEAKER_00: He told me I have to get certain things tattooed on my arm, so I will remember to read it.
- 44:31SPEAKER_00: Whatever.
- 44:32SPEAKER_00: I'm doing all the things I think I'm supposed to say.
- 44:34SPEAKER_00: But I think that in the administration that we have today, that any accusation is a confession.
- 44:43SPEAKER_00: And I think that the election was absolutely rigged.
- 44:46SPEAKER_00: I think Kamala Harris won.
- 44:48SPEAKER_00: And people are saying right now in America that we are still so far behind.
- 44:54SPEAKER_00: We wouldn't elect a woman.
- 44:55SPEAKER_00: We wouldn't elect a woman of color.
- 44:57SPEAKER_00: But we did.
- 44:58SPEAKER_00: We did.
- 44:59SPEAKER_00: But when you look at Peter Till, who owns a certain company, that Elon Musk, who is now a trillionaire, they were buying these electoral companies that uh were counted the votes months before votes.
- 45:20SPEAKER_00: And then Donald Trump is because he can't keep his damn mouth shut, thankfully, but he's on these going to these speeches or whatever, rallies is the word I'm looking for, and saying, you don't have to vote.
- 45:33SPEAKER_00: We've got all the votes we need.
- 45:35SPEAKER_00: Elon knows this system more than anyone.
- 45:38SPEAKER_00: But the fact that people are looking, and even Americans are uh deflated because they're thinking, we're not where I thought we were.
- 45:46SPEAKER_00: We won't vote for a woman, we won't vote for a woman of color, of color, and we fucking did.
- 45:52SPEAKER_00: We did.
- 45:52SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 45:53SPEAKER_00: And I know that we did.
- 45:55SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 45:56SPEAKER_00: But there are still those people that are racist, homophobic, misogynistic, transphobic, all those things.
- 46:07SPEAKER_00: But society has at one point forced them to have at least a bit of a filter.
- 46:13SPEAKER_00: You can hate me all day long.
- 46:15SPEAKER_00: You don't have to come to my wedding.
- 46:17SPEAKER_00: You don't have to high-five me.
- 46:18SPEAKER_00: You can hate me.
- 46:21SPEAKER_00: But leave me alone.
- 46:22SPEAKER_00: You know, like you don't have to like me, but but let me live, right?
- 46:27SPEAKER_00: Um, so what's happened that is so dangerous is I don't think MAGA is as big as it's being portrayed, but they're being really amplified and loud right now because they're given the permission to remove the filter and to say the things.
- 46:43SPEAKER_00: The fact that the day that the day after they announced that Donald won and there's video cameras of these college student frat boys walking through Texas looking at women and saying to women, your body, my choice.
- 46:58SPEAKER_00: That was the thing.
- 46:59SPEAKER_00: That that and I dare some little fratastic fucker to say that to my niece.
- 47:05SPEAKER_00: I dare you.
- 47:16SPEAKER_01: What's happened is it's allowed the bullies to come out.
- 47:26SPEAKER_01: And I don't, and it's not the majority of people.
- 47:28SPEAKER_01: And I try and tell people here in Australia, you know, the the majority of American people are beautiful, wonderful, loving, kind, caring people.
- 47:38SPEAKER_01: It's just that they've the bullies of the country have been given the green light and said that it's okay.
- 47:47SPEAKER_01: It's kind of like that thing, there's you know let's say police officers grab a uh uh a a guy who's who's in the middle of a crime, right?
- 47:59SPEAKER_01: And they know he's a bad guy.
- 48:03SPEAKER_01: Instinctively, internally, maybe they might go, you know what, I could just beat the crap out of this guy because he's he's a bad guy, or I caught him right before he was gonna do something really bad.
- 48:13SPEAKER_01: And the crowd mentality would go, Yeah, you have every right to do that, or give him to us and we'll beat the crap out of him, right?
- 48:20SPEAKER_01: And so it's that that mentality of I have an opportunity and I'm gonna take it.
- 48:29SPEAKER_01: And everybody's gonna agree with me because that's who I'm hanging around, people that agree with me.
- 48:35SPEAKER_01: But the the issue is is that's not the right thing to do.
- 48:39SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 48:40SPEAKER_01: Your job as a police officer is to apprehend the the suspect or the person in question, make sure that you take them to to jail and then they have a court proceeding and then they uh all that stuff.
- 48:53SPEAKER_01: It's you're not the the what judge, jury, and executioner.
- 48:59SPEAKER_01: And we've flipped that on the its head now.
- 49:03SPEAKER_01: So people are a lot more bold, but it's very few people that are I I believe.
- 49:08SPEAKER_01: I mean I hope.
- 49:10SPEAKER_01: That's my you know, in the in the middle of the of America is a very different thing.
- 49:14SPEAKER_01: Being where you are at too, in this in the south is very different than Los Angeles or New York, right?
- 49:19SPEAKER_01: Those the the two the west and east coast kind of thank goodness for the east and west coasts.
- 49:26SPEAKER_01: But I think that yeah, and something has to break, something has to happen.
- 49:30SPEAKER_00: This is this and can't be sustained.
- 49:33SPEAKER_00: And because I'm not in a cult, I can say this as where mega followers they can't criticize.
- 49:43SPEAKER_00: I will criticize the Democrats, I need him to toughen up, speak up, fight fire with fire.
- 49:55SPEAKER_00: I appreciate you wanting to be PC and loving and all these things.
- 50:04SPEAKER_00: But I need you to love me with some goddamn armor on, like go to bat into war, like because everything has changed now.
- 50:13SPEAKER_00: This everything has changed.
- 50:15SPEAKER_00: People don't even know what the constitution is anymore, they don't know how to abide by it, and I mean this respectfully toward all victims, but when you look at these ICE agents, when you look at the people uh committing the rapes uh against women and children or men, they have a certain type of background, and there's usually a a uh religious uh background to it.
- 50:50SPEAKER_00: There's usually shame and some kind of trauma, which leads us back to what I was saying was we got to get to the core, and the core of the problem is the fact that we will not tell a white man or men, period, but especially white men that dude, you can cry.
- 51:07SPEAKER_00: It's okay.
- 51:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I don't I don't think your dick is small if you cry.
- 51:11SPEAKER_00: I'm probably gonna think it's a little bigger if you cry.
- 51:15SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean?
- 51:16SPEAKER_00: Like, like it's but we don't we don't do that.
- 51:21SPEAKER_01: Well you've you've touched on something, David, that's really important, and this is something that I've talked to a few friends about.
- 51:27SPEAKER_01: If you show emotion, they will say, quit being a crybaby, or you're a girl, or some kind of slur, yeah.
- 51:37SPEAKER_01: And there is a there is a war on the fen feminine, it's been going on for a very long time.
- 51:43SPEAKER_01: They used to burn us at the stake, but you see it in different countries, cover yourself, controlling women, uh and with the present administration, it's you know, this it's the same thing, it's just dressed up differently.
- 51:55SPEAKER_01: But there is this war against the feminine.
- 51:59SPEAKER_01: And so if you have a man who is who embraces their femininity, and if they are seen as gay or look at our transgender sisters, right, they are beaten up, they are ridiculed, they are they have hate crimes against them, and I believe it's because you're not showing the male macho masculine you've actually touched in embracing your feminine, and there are some men out there that hate women.
- 52:36SPEAKER_01: Hate them.
- 52:38SPEAKER_01: Hate them, and they don't even know why.
- 52:40SPEAKER_01: And I think it's because women are amazing and have this unique, amazing gift.
- 52:47SPEAKER_01: It's not just about l bringing life into the world, it's it's just how women are, and the majority, not all, but the majority, care for they care for our children, we care for our community, we care, but there is definitely, I think, a war on on women and the feminine.
- 53:03SPEAKER_01: And if you're seen as being feminine at all, and you're a guy, oof.
- 53:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and you know what's so interesting is that there's a report that was done recently, um, where they were tracking the porn watch uh and the regions and areas that are watching the most porn and the demographics and the type of porn in the reddis of cities.
- 53:32SPEAKER_00: So Oklahoma, um, there is a small little town, Oklahoma, that was number one.
- 53:40SPEAKER_00: They are the reddest of the red.
- 53:43SPEAKER_00: Oklahoma is 50th on education, 50th on safety for women, and number one on trans porn viewers.
- 53:53SPEAKER_00: Wow, yeah, and that that's a true like study that was done.
- 53:59SPEAKER_00: Yeah, the red states have the most gay porn uh and especially trans porn viewings, the red state, the ones voting against it.
- 54:11SPEAKER_00: Mike Johnson has shares a thing with his son to monitor their porns, like to see who's watching what porn to make sure they're not watching gay porn.
- 54:21SPEAKER_00: We have a lot of closet case people that is not as blessed as I am, where my family said, David, be you.
- 54:30SPEAKER_00: We love you, you are safe here, and so they hate me because I'm everything that they cannot be.
- 54:37SPEAKER_01: Yep, absolutely.
- 54:40SPEAKER_01: How dare you shine?
- 54:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah, how dare you express yourself and embrace who you are.
- 54:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yep, absolutely, absolutely.
- 54:53SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh, I'd love this conversation.
- 54:55SPEAKER_01: We just solved the we just solved a big problem.
- 54:56SPEAKER_01: Well, we didn't solve it, but we are we running for president, vice president.
- 55:01SPEAKER_00: I think so.
- 55:02SPEAKER_01: I will be uh no, I don't want to be president because there's too many targets on this president.
- 55:09SPEAKER_00: Target, that's a whole other podcast, but really I know.
- 55:14SPEAKER_00: Oh, I know that 80-year-old ear really grow back in two days.
- 55:19SPEAKER_00: Oh, I love you, David.
- 55:21SPEAKER_00: But what I want to say is to the women we are in this place, in my opinion.
- 55:33SPEAKER_00: My uneducated I had enough money to buy a microphone and speak into an opinion is that we are in this place because of men.
- 55:48SPEAKER_00: The only saving grace that I've ever known us to have, the only heroes that that I've like uh uh yes, there's male heroes, but the women and the black, especially the black women, absolutely they are the fucking heroes.
- 56:05SPEAKER_00: Kamala Harris has more education, more background, more everything, and her little pinky, her little girl pinky with her press on now, than all of this administration, and every single one of them, including the women, have sexual assault charges against them or allegations.
- 56:28SPEAKER_00: Fuck them.
- 56:29SPEAKER_00: I love Kamala Harris and my porn fantasy right by by well, you'll know what I mean when I say that, but my fantasy right now is that we're just gonna hear high heels clicking in a hall, and you can tell it's the courtroom, and she's walking up, and the first fucking lady, Madame Kamala, is also the prosecutor for this administration.
- 56:59SPEAKER_00: Is that not a wet?
- 57:02SPEAKER_00: Is that not fucking amazing?
- 57:07SPEAKER_01: Well, you know what the thing is, is that we wouldn't have had this whole issue too many years ago, because I remember we wouldn't have had the first Trump administration if the Democrats, because you Democrats, you're just you know what, you're it doesn't matter if you're blue or red, or what if you're wearing a blue suit or a red suit, you know that you're corrupt, you know that you uh sold your soul to whatever, whatever you want to call your little deity.
- 57:36SPEAKER_01: And overwhelmingly, because I was there, people wanted this little Jewish old man, Bernie Sanders, because what he was talking about was what people wanted, right?
- 57:51SPEAKER_01: Clean water, decent food, uh working wage, unions are okay, the environment's important, you know, all these things.
- 57:59SPEAKER_01: War, no, no, no war because we know what war does.
- 58:03SPEAKER_01: They wanted him.
- 58:04SPEAKER_01: Well, let's have a sandwich.
- 58:07SPEAKER_01: Yes, and who did they push down our throats?
- 58:10SPEAKER_01: Hillary Clinton.
- 58:12SPEAKER_01: And even die-hard Democrats who are blue till they're blue, they were like, Oh, I can't do Hillary.
- 58:23SPEAKER_01: She's not likable, she scares children.
- 58:26SPEAKER_01: No, so they had to push Hillary, even though we all wanted Bernie, and once Hillary was against Trump, Trump looked like Prince Charming.
- 58:36SPEAKER_01: And that's how he got in.
- 58:38unknown: Yeah.
- 58:39SPEAKER_01: I have Australians too.
- 58:41SPEAKER_01: They the Australians are going, is this the best that your country can like, you know, is this the is this really the highest uh educated people or the people that are I said, no, you don't understand politics, it's crazy.
- 58:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah, somehow the bad guys are behind the wheel.
- 59:01SPEAKER_00: However, yeah, it's not gonna last long.
- 59:05SPEAKER_00: But sometimes I do think that you know you have to hit rock bottom to know which way is up, and we're about there.
- 59:13SPEAKER_00: We're at rock bottom, indefinitely.
- 59:15SPEAKER_00: And and let's find the up, you know, and and I do, I do, and may maybe this is this is uh false security, false positivity, toxic positivity, but it's all I have right now.
- 59:30SPEAKER_01: It's that good old American optimism, yeah.
- 59:33SPEAKER_01: It's all right.
- 59:34SPEAKER_01: The the depression will go over, we'll come, we'll build back.
- 59:37SPEAKER_01: It's okay, World War II, we'll go build back, Vietnam War, we'll go build back.
- 59:41SPEAKER_01: It's the optimism, and that's what makes America great as well.
- 59:46SPEAKER_01: But we yes, we just we need to if they're if the aliens are coming, they better come soon and just take people away.
- 59:53SPEAKER_00: Yeah, well, people were asking me, like, how do you feel about the alien files?
- 59:56SPEAKER_00: And I said, if the aliens are part of the Epstein files, fucking release them.
- 1:00:03SPEAKER_00: If not, put on the back burner, release the Epstein philosophy.
- 1:00:07SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 1:00:08SPEAKER_00: I don't care about the aliens.
- 1:00:10SPEAKER_01: Isn't that funny?
- 1:00:12SPEAKER_01: Because that's the majority of people.
- 1:00:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah, they're like, we're gonna shock them, we're gonna just like distract them with oh, here's a war, and we're like, no Epstein file.
- 1:00:22SPEAKER_01: We need to get the Epstein files.
- 1:00:23SPEAKER_01: Here's aliens, Epstein file, Epstein file.
- 1:00:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean, the fact that if I was sitting outside having a glass of wine after our podcast, I looked up and I saw a spaceship.
- 1:00:35SPEAKER_00: I would think, are you here to release the Epstein files?
- 1:00:41SPEAKER_00: If not, you're probably taking up my internet access.
- 1:00:44SPEAKER_00: I need you to guess exactly.
- 1:00:46SPEAKER_00: Okay, so one of the more two more questions.
- 1:00:50SPEAKER_00: Uh the this last one will be the the closing one.
- 1:00:54SPEAKER_00: So, but I would love to have your opinion on Mandani, the New York mayor.
- 1:00:58SPEAKER_00: What are your thoughts on him?
- 1:01:00SPEAKER_01: Uh you know what?
- 1:01:01SPEAKER_01: I because I don't know that I don't know that much, but everything that I've heard him say, I really like.
- 1:01:08SPEAKER_01: And and there's and again, because we all have an energy about us, we have an imprint, right?
- 1:01:14SPEAKER_01: The energy that comes from him is actually very lovely.
- 1:01:17SPEAKER_01: And I don't see because my bullshit detector is really good now.
- 1:01:20SPEAKER_01: Like I can if somebody starts talking, I'm like, fuck, you're lying.
- 1:01:24SPEAKER_01: But I feel really I feel good about him.
- 1:01:27SPEAKER_01: And more importantly, New Yorkers, the majority of New Yorkers are extremely happy.
- 1:01:33SPEAKER_01: Um, and I think it's gonna be a safe haven.
- 1:01:35SPEAKER_01: Like, what is it in the handmaid's tale?
- 1:01:37SPEAKER_01: Wasn't there a place that they were all they were trying to get to Canada?
- 1:01:40SPEAKER_01: So I think like New York is gonna be a place where people are gonna try and get to because it's it he's um it's a very important city in the US, yeah.
- 1:01:53SPEAKER_01: And it's so close to Florida, which is so interesting.
- 1:01:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I think Florida's a completely different country, you know, night and day.
- 1:02:01SPEAKER_00: But I really like him, and I think that he is gonna be part of the change because there are some MAGA people that I know obviously live in Tennessee, that when I have these conversations about and I ask them about Mamdanny, they immediately want to bring up 9-11.
- 1:02:22SPEAKER_00: Okay, so what but yeah, but what is uh relevant to him?
- 1:02:26SPEAKER_00: Well, they have nothing.
- 1:02:28SPEAKER_00: All they have is the propaganda that he's brown skinned, he's Muslim, or whatever.
- 1:02:33SPEAKER_00: Like it's do they know that 9-11 was an inside job?
- 1:02:38SPEAKER_00: We're talking about MAGA.
- 1:02:41SPEAKER_01: Do they think buildings go down like that after a plane hits?
- 1:02:44SPEAKER_01: Do they really know but I'm like pulverized into dust?
- 1:02:48SPEAKER_01: Okay, all right.
- 1:02:50SPEAKER_00: The conversations that I've been able to have with like the everyday person, like me.
- 1:02:54SPEAKER_00: I'm not saying I'm more educated, like I'm an everyday person too, right?
- 1:02:58SPEAKER_00: And so the conversation I've been able to have with someone where I was able to recite things with receipts and and and have an honest conversation without trying to act like I knew something bigger than is what he did during the blizzard.
- 1:03:15SPEAKER_00: He told people, I we need you all to shovel sidewalks.
- 1:03:19SPEAKER_00: I want to pay you.
- 1:03:21SPEAKER_00: You all pay in taxes.
- 1:03:23SPEAKER_00: I will pay you$18 an hour.
- 1:03:25SPEAKER_00: If it's overtime, it's absolutely time and a half, non-taxed, um, to come shovel our roads and sidewalks for our community, especially for the people who are handicapped and can't do it.
- 1:03:36SPEAKER_00: Hundreds and thousands of people came in as a fucking community and plowed the sidewalks and got a paycheck.
- 1:03:45SPEAKER_00: That's what your tax dollars are for.
- 1:03:47SPEAKER_00: I'm paying taxes to benefit me.
- 1:03:50SPEAKER_01: To benefit not to build an underground bunker that's six stories below the ground and then we call it a ballroom.
- 1:03:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah, this straight man who has unblended orange makeup wants a ballroom and talks about masculinity.
- 1:04:03SPEAKER_00: Come on, guys.
- 1:04:05SPEAKER_00: We have a gay bunker.
- 1:04:08SPEAKER_01: It's a bunker.
- 1:04:10SPEAKER_00: Oh, don't make him gay.
- 1:04:12SPEAKER_00: I know, I would hate that for us, but oh he's in that sundowning where he's making these confessions and everything is about hot and yeah.
- 1:04:24SPEAKER_01: He talks about like whenever he sees the ice agents or the military, he's like, God, that guy's gorgeous.
- 1:04:30SPEAKER_01: Look how hot he is.
- 1:04:32SPEAKER_01: I love it.
- 1:04:32SPEAKER_01: Look how much muscle he's got.
- 1:04:34SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, damn, dude, get a room.
- 1:04:37SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:04:39unknown: Yeah.
- 1:04:40SPEAKER_00: I don't love this for the gay community, however.
- 1:04:43SPEAKER_00: But yeah, the thing is, I love this for the MAGA.
- 1:04:47SPEAKER_01: There's nothing worse than a closeted uh gay person.
- 1:04:55unknown: Yeah.
- 1:04:56SPEAKER_01: Closeted and because and hateful because they do hate the ones, they hate the ones that are out and life and enjoying themselves.
- 1:05:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and maybe this is a southern side of things, but I do think there are closeted people, I know some of them, that don't vote against or hate.
- 1:05:14SPEAKER_00: They're they're just terrified for themselves.
- 1:05:16SPEAKER_00: And and I understand that.
- 1:05:18SPEAKER_00: But when you have the people like Mike John, anywhere there's a Charlie Kirk funeral, whatever that was, and uh or a Republican gathering grinder crashes, those are the ones that don't like, do not vote against me, my rights, and what I can do, and then fetishize me at night.
- 1:05:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah, don't do that.
- 1:05:44SPEAKER_00: Because I do know closeted people, especially here in the south, where they are in that battle of not accepting, but they're not doing it with also hating me.
- 1:05:53SPEAKER_00: And I think there's a difference.
- 1:05:55SPEAKER_01: That's a very there's a yeah, no, there's very big difference between yeah, being just being closeted, and and I think.
- 1:06:00SPEAKER_01: I should have qualified that.
- 1:06:01SPEAKER_01: Oh no, no.
- 1:06:02SPEAKER_00: I I knew what you meant.
- 1:06:04SPEAKER_00: I just but yeah, it just sparked that thought in me, you know.
- 1:06:08SPEAKER_01: Because there's um I again the ones that have hate or they're using their platform to harm others instead of just leaving us alone.
- 1:06:22SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's dangerous.
- 1:06:24SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:06:25SPEAKER_00: The Republican Party thinks more about what's in between people's legs than I do as a gay man, and they think that I'm a pervert.
- 1:06:35SPEAKER_00: You talk more about genitals than I do.
- 1:06:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:06:39SPEAKER_00: And the most disgusting, scariest part of it is you all are Republicans also talk more about what's between a child's legs more than anyone.
- 1:06:54SPEAKER_00: I do not want my children, or I don't have children, but children that are involved in my life, I don't want them in the bathroom with a Republican.
- 1:07:02SPEAKER_00: I think Republicans should have their own bathroom because I don't want my child around them.
- 1:07:07SPEAKER_00: I will let my I will let my child go to the bathroom with a trans person.
- 1:07:10SPEAKER_00: I will let them go in the bathroom with a with a black person, with a mech, with a uh quote unquote illegal for the like and I'm saying that sarcastically to to the people who don't see me doing the quote quotations who are listening.
- 1:07:20SPEAKER_00: I I don't want them in the bathroom with a Republican because the Republicans only think about what is between a child's legs, and I don't like that.
- 1:07:30SPEAKER_01: No, no.
- 1:07:32SPEAKER_01: And we're only with that Epstein list thing too, we're only uh saying part of it.
- 1:07:40SPEAKER_01: It's much darker, much, much darker, much more disturbing.
- 1:07:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah, all right, Christine.
- 1:07:50SPEAKER_00: Will you please come back?
- 1:07:51SPEAKER_00: Like absolutely have an amazing conversation.
- 1:07:54SPEAKER_00: Like I so I went in and my notes was like, okay, my rapid fire question is what does Australia think about America?
- 1:08:02SPEAKER_00: But we just had a 45-minute conversation about that question.
- 1:08:06SPEAKER_00: So but to to end on a okay, this isn't a bad note.
- 1:08:14SPEAKER_00: What we just had isn't a bad note because the people in my community were all like-minded, right?
- 1:08:19SPEAKER_00: And so even though we're talking about harsh things, it's a safe place to do that.
- 1:08:24SPEAKER_00: So I want to be careful how a word, because I'm not saying that we're ending that we would be ending on a hard, harsh note, because that's not the case.
- 1:08:32SPEAKER_00: Um, we we provide a safe place to have these conversations.
- 1:08:36SPEAKER_00: So on a latter different note, I would love for you to take a few moments because you are um an award-winning media personality and what is it five number one bestseller?
- 1:08:52SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:08:53SPEAKER_00: So give us a little bit of plugs, do some shameless plugs for oh no.
- 1:08:58SPEAKER_01: First of all, I want to tell your audience too that writing five bestsellers is was not as difficult as it sounds either.
- 1:09:06SPEAKER_01: And I am not a writer, I'm a talker, I'm a speaker.
- 1:09:10SPEAKER_01: So I take all of those workshops, webinars, speaking engagements, all those things that I'm speaking about, and I take that content and I transfer them into these cool books that people like.
- 1:09:25SPEAKER_01: So that said, the last book is the expert authority code, and it's for overwhelmed entrepreneurs, business owners who are struggling to get their business known, to get them known and seen and paid, uh, getting clients or customers, and they're my strategies that I've worked on for several years, and I've helped quite a lot of people, but it's also a fun read.
- 1:09:53SPEAKER_01: And so I encourage people.
- 1:09:54SPEAKER_01: You can find it on um Amazon.
- 1:09:56SPEAKER_01: It's called the Expert Authority Code, and also you can find it on my website, experthoritycoach.com.
- 1:10:04SPEAKER_01: But whatever it is that you're passionate about, I really want to encourage you to go after it.
- 1:10:09SPEAKER_01: We had a lot of people, as you were saying, during COVID, a lot of people were upskilling, creating podcasts, doing things that they normally wouldn't do because they had that security of that job.
- 1:10:21SPEAKER_01: That was taken away from us, and we are as human beings, amazing species.
- 1:10:28SPEAKER_01: We will look for the positive aspects in life.
- 1:10:32SPEAKER_01: And so don't wait until another lockdown.
- 1:10:36SPEAKER_01: If you want to write that book, write that book if you want to create that podcast.
- 1:10:39SPEAKER_01: If you want to start a business and you need guidance on your branding and your marketing and your offers and how you communicate, how you show up, then reach out to me and I would be happy to help you.
- 1:10:51SPEAKER_01: I have a free consultation that's available.
- 1:10:54SPEAKER_01: You can sign up for that at the website, expertauthoritycoach.com.
- 1:10:58SPEAKER_01: And I would love to learn more about what you want to do or what you've been doing, and maybe it's not working so well and you need a tweak or here or there.
- 1:11:05SPEAKER_01: I'd love to have the conversation.
- 1:11:08SPEAKER_00: I would love that.
- 1:11:09SPEAKER_00: And I'm gonna have you back, and I'm gonna in the show notes, I'm gonna share all the links, and then um, I'm usually like a couple of weeks ahead of uh or pre-recorded, so I will keep you updated on um perfect uh on release dates, and then once I do the promos and stuff, I send them to you that way you can share them if you want to.
- 1:11:30SPEAKER_00: Um, and I have all your media stuff.
- 1:11:32SPEAKER_00: So, okay, so I'm gonna end the recording there, but and I won't keep you long with this because I know that you got a full day.
- 1:11:38SPEAKER_00: However, I am growing, but I'm hitting walls that are out of my element.
- 1:11:47SPEAKER_00: I would love to set up a time with you to discuss.
- 1:11:50SPEAKER_00: Like you're the first person to see my new merch shirt, you know.
- 1:11:55SPEAKER_00: So I'm like I'm trying to do these different little things, and um, but because I am growing, and but there's just things that are just out of my uh wheelhouse.
- 1:12:05SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and so so I would love to have a what I would do, yeah.
- 1:12:10SPEAKER_01: What I do is I'll I'll put in the chat a link to book in just that discovery call, and it's about 30 minutes.
- 1:12:17SPEAKER_01: It's recorded, and I give it to you afterward, but then I can take a look at your digital footprint, so to speak.
- 1:12:24SPEAKER_01: But I can look at your website, look a little bit at social media.
- 1:12:26SPEAKER_01: Social media is not as important as your messaging on your website.
- 1:12:31SPEAKER_00: Oh, see, I don't have a website, I thought social media was more important.
- 1:12:35SPEAKER_00: Girl, David, David.
- 1:12:38SPEAKER_00: Yes, okay.
- 1:12:45SPEAKER_01: No, no, I I would love a thousand of David's.
- 1:12:49SPEAKER_01: So um let's but let's have that conversation and then I can point you in a couple different directions.
- 1:12:55SPEAKER_01: The things that I would that I would say I would do.
- 1:12:57SPEAKER_01: I work with my clients in a couple different ways where when we're working on a project together, if it's revamping your website or getting you set up with one, or setting up a business model, or creating a media kit so that you can get booked on podcast shows, and you can it's a great way to get more exposure, SEO and AEO.
- 1:13:18SPEAKER_01: So if it's a single session, it's two hours, and it's like one here, one there.
- 1:13:23SPEAKER_01: We do a small goal, we finish it up, wrap it up, it's done.
- 1:13:27SPEAKER_01: And then you go and you do something else, and you come back, and I'll do another two-hour session.
- 1:13:32SPEAKER_01: So that's the a la carte.
- 1:13:33SPEAKER_01: But then I also have an accelerator, which I love working with my clients because then there's big momentum and transformation, and that is we work on everything.
- 1:13:43SPEAKER_01: So we work on your branding, we work on your we'll work on your podcast, make sure everything is all dialed in, but we also get you the exp get you on podcast shows, get you to write that first best-selling book and not a big book, a guide, a 35 tiny book, teeny tiny book, and we put it in a category that you're gonna get a bestseller.
- 1:14:04SPEAKER_01: Like, you'll get a bestseller.
- 1:14:06SPEAKER_00: Okay, yeah.
- 1:14:07SPEAKER_00: That's that that that's the package I would definitely want.
- 1:14:09SPEAKER_00: I don't want to, yeah, I don't want to be like, okay, I've got to fit everything in two hours and then we're done.
- 1:14:13SPEAKER_00: Like, I don't want the olive card.
- 1:14:15SPEAKER_00: I want to I need you to be my best thing and text me every five minutes and I will pay for it.
- 1:14:22SPEAKER_01: That'll be fantastic.
- 1:14:23SPEAKER_01: And I also have a few people, I have a few people that I would love to hook you up with, you know, and connect you with.
- 1:14:32SPEAKER_01: And I have got one client who is this extremely handsome gay man in San Diego who I worked on revamping his.
- 1:14:43SPEAKER_01: I wish I had a before and after thing for his his website and his offers and and everything, but he's got a podcast that is fabulous, and you would be a great guest on his show, and he would be a great guest on your show.
- 1:14:57SPEAKER_00: But also he's really cute.
- 1:15:01SPEAKER_00: Yeah, perfect soul.
- 1:15:03SPEAKER_01: But yeah, and he's a good man, you know what I'm saying?
- 1:15:06SPEAKER_00: I love that, and I love you know, but yeah, you have full permission.
- 1:15:10SPEAKER_00: You can uh group email me with anyone you have full permission.
- 1:15:13SPEAKER_01: Let's have our let's have that consultation, let's have that discovery call first.
- 1:15:17SPEAKER_01: That way also you'll see you'll see how I how I work.
- 1:15:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah and then and then also we'll get you started on the accelerator.
- 1:15:25SPEAKER_01: I work basically with you every single week.
- 1:15:27SPEAKER_01: It's not a two-hour session like the single ones, they're 90 minutes because it's just enough time to get a lot done, but you're not drained afterward because you're like Yeah, yeah.
- 1:15:37SPEAKER_01: And we get a lot done in that time, and we work on everything, but the most important things we'll work on first.
- 1:15:44SPEAKER_01: Perfect.
- 1:15:45SPEAKER_01: So that would be how do people get in touch with you, right?
- 1:15:48SPEAKER_01: How do they book time with you?
- 1:15:50SPEAKER_01: All of those things.
- 1:15:51SPEAKER_01: When we'll talk about that here, I'll put it in the chat and you can book it in.
- 1:15:54SPEAKER_01: You can book it in today, and we can meet whenever this is my calendar, Christine B.com.
- 1:16:01SPEAKER_00: Okay, great.
- 1:16:02SPEAKER_01: There, perfect.
- 1:16:03SPEAKER_01: You see that?
- 1:16:04SPEAKER_01: So book that in, and um, and then we'll get you started.
- 1:16:08SPEAKER_01: We'll get you started right up.
- 1:16:09SPEAKER_01: I would love to work with you.
- 1:16:10SPEAKER_01: Are you kidding?
- 1:16:11SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it'll be so much fun.
- 1:16:12SPEAKER_00: It'll be so much fun.
- 1:16:14SPEAKER_00: And um, and and I'll put together a little thing because I, you know, I do have an LLC, and I have another podcast under my LLC.
- 1:16:23SPEAKER_00: I don't host it, Jenny hosts it.
- 1:16:25SPEAKER_00: It's called Unholier Than Thou.
- 1:16:26SPEAKER_00: She her uh grandfather was the founder of the IFB cult, and so we talk to people who have deconstructed from cult.
- 1:16:34SPEAKER_00: Her show is doing amazing, and so um yeah, so so and and we can talk about all that, but I would love for her to also be a part of it because we're we're trying to grow this to be under my business.
- 1:16:46SPEAKER_00: Okay, she's gorgeous, she's stunning, which always helps.
- 1:16:50SPEAKER_01: And no, and know that when you um if you pay me for a single session or you pay me for the accelerator, which is like I said, every week, you're able to invite anybody that you want.
- 1:17:01SPEAKER_01: Because it's the same, it's a Zoom call, right?
- 1:17:03SPEAKER_01: Right, so you're able to invite whoever you want, or if they're not able to make it, you share the recording because you get recordings of everything.
- 1:17:13SPEAKER_01: And um, and then part of that also is at the end of a the required there's the requirement is three months or 90 days, right?
- 1:17:21SPEAKER_01: After that, you're welcome to stay with me.
- 1:17:23SPEAKER_01: Like I have clients that stay with me over a year and we continue working together, or you could say, Cool, we did the three months.
- 1:17:30SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, I'm so excited, I'm so happy, I'm gonna go on my own, try it for a bit.
- 1:17:34SPEAKER_01: If I come back, I come back.
- 1:17:35SPEAKER_01: But the thing is, is that at the end, you're a guest on my podcast show, and it's a whole profile.
- 1:17:42SPEAKER_01: I mean, it's like um we won't be talking necessarily about a whole bunch of other things, it's really about your business or your pod.
- 1:17:50SPEAKER_01: If that's what we want to do, we want to bring people to your podcast, then we talk about that.
- 1:17:55SPEAKER_01: So that's like your showcase reel.
- 1:17:57SPEAKER_01: In other words, you can you can use that and we get highlight clips and everything, but I'll tell you more.
- 1:18:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah, when I'll put that in.
- 1:18:03SPEAKER_00: Well, okay.
- 1:18:04SPEAKER_00: Well, then I want to schedule it.
- 1:18:05SPEAKER_00: Thank you so much.
- 1:18:07SPEAKER_01: Thank you, David.
- 1:18:08SPEAKER_01: Lovely lovely.
- 1:18:08SPEAKER_01: Yes, I get what you're doing.
- 1:18:09SPEAKER_01: What sign are you?
- 1:18:10SPEAKER_01: What sign are you?
- 1:18:11SPEAKER_01: Cancer.
- 1:18:12SPEAKER_01: Oh, okay.
- 1:18:13SPEAKER_01: You're a water sign, so you're okay.
- 1:18:15SPEAKER_01: Yes, I'm scored.
- 1:18:16SPEAKER_01: So okay.
- 1:18:17SPEAKER_00: You're amazing.
- 1:18:18SPEAKER_00: Thank you so so much.
- 1:18:19SPEAKER_00: Enjoy your day.
- 1:18:20SPEAKER_00: Well, I'm gonna get ready for bed.
- 1:18:23SPEAKER_01: Go have a little glass of wine and then go get ready for bed.
- 1:18:26SPEAKER_01: Have a good day.
- 1:18:27SPEAKER_01: I'll see you on Fred.
- 1:18:28SPEAKER_01: Book that in.
- 1:18:29SPEAKER_01: It's um, it's in the chat.
- 1:18:30SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but I'm gonna take I'm gonna do that now because I've got my calendar open in front of me.
- 1:18:33SPEAKER_00: So yeah, I'm gonna do that now.
- 1:18:34SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 1:18:35SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
- 1:18:35SPEAKER_01: All right, I'll see you soon then.
- 1:18:36SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:18:36SPEAKER_01: Bye, David Clue.
