- 1:02Speaker 1: dot com. All right, let's go into a couple of
- 1:04Speaker 1: topics here. I want to get into the first tweet here. Here,
- 1:08Speaker 1: Bank of Japan calms the markets. They pledged no rate
- 1:11Speaker 1: hikes during market instability. This sparked a rebound in the
- 1:14Speaker 1: Asian markets. Japan was plus a point two, Korea was
- 1:17Speaker 1: up one point eight, and then of course Taiwan money's
- 1:20Speaker 1: meltdown do in part to rate hike fears. And I
- 1:23Speaker 1: think a lot of people have been looking at this
- 1:24Speaker 1: global asset classes pretty much shaken across the globe, and
- 1:28Speaker 1: I think now we might see a little bit of
- 1:31Speaker 1: a pause. And maybe I think that what has happened
- 1:34Speaker 1: is the Japanese have seen the trickle down effect start
- 1:37Speaker 1: to work its way into markets and have a big
- 1:40Speaker 1: backlash effect on Japan itself. So that in itself is
- 1:44Speaker 1: a good news right there. So Bank of Japan goat spooked.
- 1:48Speaker 1: They came in and did an emergency meeting, said hey,
- 1:51Speaker 1: we're going to go in here, no rate hikes if
- 1:53Speaker 1: the markets were unstable. I can't imagine why biggest exporters
- 1:56Speaker 1: of banks toolkit is. Of course rates remembers not it's
- 2:00Speaker 1: the temporary thing. Stronger in will eventually mean EPs revisions
- 2:03Speaker 1: for these companies. So I think this could be good
- 2:08Speaker 1: in the sense of when you look at the macro
- 2:10Speaker 1: effect here and you look at and only what's happening
- 2:12Speaker 1: in the US and how the carry trade works, what
- 2:15Speaker 1: this kind of impact had on the crypto market in general.
- 2:18Speaker 1: Hopefully we've seen a little bit stability and we'll start
- 2:20Speaker 1: to see some movement here. But however, I would say
- 2:23Speaker 1: this is there still are macro fears in the market
- 2:26Speaker 1: right now. All right here, I've got a clip from Bloomberg.
- 2:29Speaker 1: This is talking about whether this was the right move
- 2:31Speaker 1: or not. Take a look.
- 2:32Speaker 2: Do you think the POHA is doing the wrong thing
- 2:34Speaker 2: this morning?
- 2:34Speaker 1: And blink?
- 2:35Speaker 3: I do.
- 2:36Speaker 2: I think what they meant to do is to press
- 2:38Speaker 2: the pause button instead of pressed and rewind button. So
- 2:42Speaker 2: rather than provide the market the opportunity to exit this
- 2:46Speaker 2: carry trade in orderly fashion, they've given a signal to
- 2:49Speaker 2: the market to put on more of the trade, and
- 2:52Speaker 2: that ultimately is going to conflict with the domestic economic requirements.
- 2:56Speaker 4: Do you think the central banks refreight to lead in
- 2:58Speaker 4: this moment, and if so, why.
- 3:00Speaker 2: I think no one wants to be the vocal moment.
- 3:03Speaker 2: So what I'd rather do is see someone else try
- 3:05Speaker 2: to do it and if you need to reverse course,
- 3:08Speaker 2: let them reverse course. I suspect that was enormous external
- 3:11Speaker 2: pressure on the Bank of Japan last night. You probably
- 3:14Speaker 2: went to bed too early, but Japanese stocks were indicated
- 3:18Speaker 2: down hard. That was putting pressure on US futures. And
- 3:22Speaker 2: next thing you know, the Bank of Japan comes out.
- 3:24Speaker 5: When you say enormous external pressure, what external pressure you
- 3:28Speaker 5: talking about?
- 3:29Speaker 2: So the narrative has evolved, and this actually speaks to
- 3:32Speaker 2: a fundamental issue that there are no anchors to this market.
- 3:35Speaker 2: That's no longer a growth anchor, that's no longer a
- 3:37Speaker 2: policy anchor. So the narrative on Thursday and Friday was
- 3:41Speaker 2: that the market disruption was due to economic developments in
- 3:46Speaker 2: the US. Then comes Monday and suddenly everybody's pointing the
- 3:51Speaker 2: finger Japan. And by today, if you've noticed, the people
- 3:55Speaker 2: who have come on have talked all about positioning. Positioning
- 3:58Speaker 2: has become the main culporate for what has happened. And
- 4:00Speaker 2: people Forgotursday and Friday and the many say positioning, you
- 4:05Speaker 2: immediately look at Japan. So the narrative has evolved to
- 4:08Speaker 2: put the emphasis on Japan as being the calls. Now
- 4:12Speaker 2: all those people who rushed to predict into meeting cuts
- 4:16Speaker 2: and everything else. Are going to have to scramble and
- 4:18Speaker 2: get back on state. And mean, it's fascinating to me
- 4:20Speaker 2: to watch a really well paid industry whip sort the
- 4:24Speaker 2: way it has been whipsorted.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Yeah, I think that's the surprise to me is the
- 4:29Speaker 1: fact that we did see this kind of move quickly.
- 4:31Speaker 1: And you're right, He's right. I mean, this is these
- 4:34Speaker 1: are experts have been in the industry for decades. It
- 4:38Speaker 1: also presents maybe a challenge that you have to look
- 4:40Speaker 1: at and say, maybe the markets are finally at a
- 4:44Speaker 1: point where they really don't know what is going on,
- 4:47Speaker 1: which of course benefits I think crypto and risk assets. However,
- 4:50Speaker 1: that being said, jump Trading could sell eighty million in eth.
- 4:54Speaker 1: They reveals they onstake eleven thousand, five hundred eighth value
- 4:57Speaker 1: of twenty nine million from Lido. A couple of the
- 5:00Speaker 1: points right here spot the courting spot on chain Jump
- 5:03Speaker 1: Trading on stake the amount for twenty nine mil. Firm
- 5:06Speaker 1: also applied to reteem over fourteen thousand and eighth value
- 5:09Speaker 1: to forty eight million. I know that's not a lot,
- 5:11Speaker 1: but as they start to unwind their portfolio I think
- 5:15Speaker 1: that's going to be the real question. This tweet right
- 5:18Speaker 1: here kind of goes in a little bit more on
- 5:20Speaker 1: what they're doing on their portfolio. You can kind of
- 5:23Speaker 1: see right here if you have exposure in some of these,
- 5:26Speaker 1: just be aware could this have some impact on Solana
- 5:29Speaker 1: there of course is Leto along with a handful of
- 5:32Speaker 1: other tokens like Suie, Celestia say is in there, and
- 5:37Speaker 1: a handful of others that I think have been moving
- 5:39Speaker 1: pretty heavily. So their portfolio is down eight three percent
- 5:41Speaker 1: from the all time high, and then most tokens have
- 5:44Speaker 1: dropped off significantly, So this will be could be a
- 5:48Speaker 1: moment right now for what's going to be happening with
- 5:50Speaker 1: Jump Crypto. I want to go to a clip real
- 5:52Speaker 1: quick because this is where Kathy Wood takes a harder
- 5:55Speaker 1: look at this whole issue. Take a look.
- 5:58Speaker 4: Jump Trading, which has a big quipt book, has been
- 6:01Speaker 4: unwinding its book in a way that is, to me
- 6:04Speaker 4: suggests that they are being forced to unwind it, as
- 6:07Speaker 4: in they've been doing it in ways that are not
- 6:09Speaker 4: very market friendly in reasonably large size.
- 6:13Speaker 6: Yeah, and the CEO of Jump.
- 6:18Speaker 4: Left and he was a young, young, young person so
- 6:22Speaker 4: if you're twenty five years old, you haven't been through
- 6:24Speaker 4: that many market cycles. I know crypto happens very quickly,
- 6:27Speaker 4: but and so.
- 6:29Speaker 6: We're trying to connect some dots. The CEO of that
- 6:32Speaker 6: division leaves they are unwinding the book. Clearly, I don't
- 6:36Speaker 6: know if the regulators have gotten in there. We don't
- 6:40Speaker 6: know what is going on this.
- 6:42Speaker 7: They could have been.
- 6:45Speaker 6: Part of the carriage trade in ways that we just
- 6:47Speaker 6: don't understand. All of those speculators and others betting that
- 6:53Speaker 6: the yen would continue to at least be stable or
- 6:57Speaker 6: go down. They are probably being hit by margin calls,
- 7:02Speaker 6: and we're trying to figure out who they are well.
- 7:06Speaker 4: And Jump Trading has a tradition like you could imagine
- 7:08Speaker 4: if there's a trading firm that gets caught out, you
- 7:11Speaker 4: know too, it would be somebody that has a crypto
- 7:14Speaker 4: book and also is running trade making and kind of
- 7:17Speaker 4: other areas. Try to Google search and figure out who
- 7:20Speaker 4: those guys are. It's very mysterious. We know they've taken
- 7:23Speaker 4: multi hundred million dollar hits against FTX and against the
- 7:26Speaker 4: wormhole hack, and they were terror Luna exposed and kind
- 7:30Speaker 4: of have seemingly danced through it all. You know, we
- 7:33Speaker 4: don't know like how the finance, what their balance sheet
- 7:36Speaker 4: looks like, how much leverage they could have taken on.
- 7:39Speaker 4: And like you say, Katy, there's a lot of there
- 7:42Speaker 4: is leverage out there on the carry trade. Like if
- 7:44Speaker 4: you look at the end lending by Japanese banks, it's
- 7:48Speaker 4: on the order of one point seven trillion dollars. It
- 7:51Speaker 4: looks like about half of which is to other bank
- 7:54Speaker 4: and the other half is to non bank financial institution,
- 7:57Speaker 4: so things of like the Dado banking sector. So if
- 7:59Speaker 4: you have seven hundred billion dollars of loaned money out
- 8:02Speaker 4: there that has boxed uff and suddenly that's all the
- 8:06Speaker 4: cost of that loan money has gone up, and and
- 8:10Speaker 4: you know there's suddenly the assets that's supposed to collaboralize
- 8:13Speaker 4: the loan money is falling apart. Then it takes time
- 8:17Speaker 4: for that to unwind and cascade through and and hit you.
- 8:23Speaker 1: All right, So a lot of things done wrapped there
- 8:25Speaker 1: because there they made a couple of statements there. One
- 8:27Speaker 1: of course, is the issue of the possible involvement in
- 8:31Speaker 1: the carry trade around Japan. And really if you think
- 8:33Speaker 1: about the Japanese cary trade, I mean it's kind of
- 8:36Speaker 1: old school models where you get money at zero, you
- 8:39Speaker 1: out leverage into the market, you're making money until those
- 8:41Speaker 1: rates go up. Then it's you know, it messes everything
- 8:44Speaker 1: up on the on the backside. So if they were
- 8:46Speaker 1: caught up in that, sure there's gonna be some problems there.
- 8:48Speaker 1: But to their point, this is one of those companies
- 8:51Speaker 1: also that has been on the fringe of crypto. Granted
- 8:53Speaker 1: there's a lot of those kinds of investment firms out there.
- 8:57Speaker 1: The thing that concerns me the most right now, I
- 8:59Speaker 1: would say, is going to be fired answer. Remember Jump
- 9:01Speaker 1: Crypto very very involved in fired answer. Remember that the
- 9:06Speaker 1: Salona event is happening here in the next few months.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Whether or not we're going to see fire answer at
- 9:11Speaker 1: actually get launched, that'll be a big question, I think,
- 9:13Speaker 1: for what's going to happen at breakpoints, So be on
- 9:16Speaker 1: the lookout for that. Keep your eyes open here. It
- 9:18Speaker 1: is a big issue right now with the Salona community.
- 9:21Speaker 1: Now that being said, you know, kind of the negative
- 9:24Speaker 1: side of it, on more of a fud position, Let's
- 9:26Speaker 1: go to more of a pro position. Here's Jeff Dorman,
- 9:30Speaker 1: who is Arcascio.
- 9:32Speaker 7: Listen to what he had to say, a lot of
- 9:34Speaker 7: people are tying the Jump trading eth sales on Sunday
- 9:38Speaker 7: to the end carry trade completely guessing that why else
- 9:42Speaker 7: would these two things be tied. Throughout the course of
- 9:44Speaker 7: the last couple of weeks, was losing money, realized that
- 9:47Speaker 7: it was going to open again down on Sunday night,
- 9:49Speaker 7: had to sell whatever collateral they could to free up cash,
- 9:52Speaker 7: and eath is the only market available on a Sunday morning.
- 9:55Speaker 7: It's plausible. I certainly don't have any knowledge for sure
- 10:00Speaker 7: know if that is the case. There are rumors that,
- 10:03Speaker 7: you know, Jump is exiting crypto and shutting down. I
- 10:05Speaker 7: think that is incorrect. I think we have a fair
- 10:07Speaker 7: amount of data points to suggest that Jump is not
- 10:09Speaker 7: going anywhere. I just don't see any evidence of it.
- 10:12Speaker 7: And I think that this is one of the best
- 10:14Speaker 7: buying opportunities that you will see all year as a result.
- 10:19Speaker 1: All right, so we'll see if that is the other
- 10:22Speaker 1: side of the base right now. A couple other analysts
- 10:25Speaker 1: out there right now looking at this the Jump rebalance
- 10:29Speaker 1: playing out in real time because fired answer could run,
- 10:32Speaker 1: could be in a position run the NASTAC and a
- 10:35Speaker 1: lot of the stable coin rails. This would put Salona
- 10:38Speaker 1: and Ethereum in pretty good positions from a dominant standpoint
- 10:41Speaker 1: and overall market, you know, dominance. And I think if
- 10:46Speaker 1: all of this plays out, yeah, okay, there are some
- 10:48Speaker 1: signals here that could kind of point to that direction.
- 10:50Speaker 1: But it's kind of like what someone said the other
- 10:53Speaker 1: day on a livestream, you know, when they're smoking those
- 10:55Speaker 1: kinds of scenarios. Is there fire? Is there something going on?
- 10:59Speaker 1: And we've seen in off of this happened before from
- 11:02Speaker 1: Voyager to Celsius to what's happened with FTX. We start
- 11:07Speaker 1: to recognize these patterns. Is jump going to be one
- 11:09Speaker 1: of those going forward? One thing to kind of look
- 11:13Speaker 1: at right here, Solona year to date up fifty one,
- 11:16Speaker 1: Bitcoin year to date up thirty six, and eighth year
- 11:19Speaker 1: to date up eleven. So everybody kind of says, well,
- 11:21Speaker 1: we kind of let the charts do the talking, and
- 11:23Speaker 1: that is the case. Eth is clearly lagging even with
- 11:26Speaker 1: the ETF. Some of the people that are kind of
- 11:29Speaker 1: keeping this on the radar, preferring soul after, you know,
- 11:33Speaker 1: kind of avoiding the suits. I think this is going
- 11:35Speaker 1: to be interesting to play out. Plus, I think the
- 11:39Speaker 1: trade that you look at from Slana standpoint, for it
- 11:42Speaker 1: to be able to bounce back so quickly off of
- 11:44Speaker 1: this move that we saw from the Japanese, you know, impact,
- 11:49Speaker 1: pretty impressive, pretty impressive, even more so than I think
- 11:52Speaker 1: that many of the projects did not anticipate that kind
- 11:56Speaker 1: of move. Here, of course, is the soul Eth trade
- 11:59Speaker 1: just a little bit about to enter price discovery in
- 12:01Speaker 1: terms of its price versus ethereum. This is another reason
- 12:05Speaker 1: that I think a lot of people are still looking
- 12:07Speaker 1: Aslon even though I still think right now, as it
- 12:10Speaker 1: plays out around the one to fifty mark, that could
- 12:12Speaker 1: be a change. So just a quick look at the
- 12:15Speaker 1: Salona eighth chart right here, you kind of see it
- 12:17Speaker 1: about the enterprice discovery in terms of its price versus ethereum.
- 12:20Speaker 1: If you look at the chart overall, all, this range
- 12:23Speaker 1: right here now starting to really break out. So this
- 12:25Speaker 1: could be a scenario where Salona continues its trek in
- 12:28Speaker 1: terms of being the chosen one in terms of this
- 12:31Speaker 1: bull run. We'll see how this plays out. It's one
- 12:33Speaker 1: that we are definitely watching very close. Two billion in
- 12:36Speaker 1: ethereum in in this move right now, our Chinese sees
- 12:40Speaker 1: assets about to crash the market. This will be another
- 12:42Speaker 1: issue where we could see some more fud as Ethereum
- 12:45Speaker 1: wallets linked to the plus token ponzi scheme suddenly become active,
- 12:50Speaker 1: So this will transfer about eight or and twenty thousand
- 12:52Speaker 1: eighth over two billion just in the past twenty four hours.
- 12:55Speaker 1: These wallets, of course, are have been inactive for more
- 12:58Speaker 1: than three years, so this possibly puts out another scenario
- 13:02Speaker 1: around another crypto crash, especially around ethereum. All right, so
- 13:05Speaker 1: let's go over to this news right here. Blackrock and
- 13:09Speaker 1: Nasdak of course aiming to expand the Ethereum investment with
- 13:12Speaker 1: a new ETF options proposal that in itself could be
- 13:16Speaker 1: another play, and there's some good dates here. Twenty one
- 13:19Speaker 1: days to comment in the proposal, with a final SEC
- 13:22Speaker 1: decisionspected by April ninth, twenty twenty five, so this will
- 13:26Speaker 1: be next year. But Nasdek's experience with options trading on
- 13:29Speaker 1: commodity ETF positions, so it's well to extend similar offerings
- 13:33Speaker 1: to ethereum. ETFs could be a good move here, and
- 13:35Speaker 1: again Blackrock I think very pro on the whole idea
- 13:39Speaker 1: of ETF, especially coming from these risk assets. We'll probably
- 13:42Speaker 1: see a lot more of these coming into the market.
- 13:45Speaker 1: Other points I want to hit on right here. Morgan
- 13:47Speaker 1: Stanley clients get permission now to expand bitcoin ETF investments
- 13:51Speaker 1: starting today, and this is going to hit a lot
- 13:53Speaker 1: of people. The ets will now be available through another
- 13:56Speaker 1: fifteen thousand new zooment on that for you guys, fifteen
- 13:59Speaker 1: thousand finale advisors and their clients with a net worth
- 14:03Speaker 1: of at least one point five million. So this is
- 14:05Speaker 1: bringing in some pretty significant money on people who are
- 14:10Speaker 1: maybe looking for alternatives out there. And I think this
- 14:13Speaker 1: will be a big one because it's really starting to
- 14:15Speaker 1: leverage into the size of the market overall. It will
- 14:20Speaker 1: grant access to two of the most popular bitcoin ets,
- 14:22Speaker 1: black Rocks I Shares and ibit, and then the Fidelity
- 14:27Speaker 1: Wise Origin Bitcoin fun FBDC. Their move makes a provision
- 14:31Speaker 1: for shifting scenery with digital assets by placing familiar financial
- 14:35Speaker 1: instruments in front of all these Morgan Stanley clients. So
- 14:38Speaker 1: this will be bullish. I think this is bullish in general,
- 14:40Speaker 1: but again it does get into the whole idea of
- 14:43Speaker 1: centralized I understand that I hear your complaints about that.
- 14:48Speaker 1: So one thing to carry on with this is just
- 14:50Speaker 1: the framework of how Morgan Stanley is addressing this for
- 14:54Speaker 1: the market. One is it's very positive for the markets
- 14:58Speaker 1: in general, and it alsokind of now gives a new
- 15:01Speaker 1: opportunity because many people were saying the wirehouses, you know,
- 15:04Speaker 1: we had Kathy Wood talking about this earlier, the wirehouses
- 15:06Speaker 1: weren't exposed to this. Now they will be. This of
- 15:08Speaker 1: course also starts to generate opportunities for more products, So
- 15:13Speaker 1: you're going to see more products coming in on bitcoin
- 15:15Speaker 1: and eighth that'll play into this as well. All is
- 15:17Speaker 1: very positive, So could this be maybe the last real
- 15:20Speaker 1: buying opportunity before we see these run ups take off?
- 15:24Speaker 1: There are other factors that play into this. Obviously, interest rate, yes,
- 15:27Speaker 1: that's going to be most likely coming down in September.
- 15:29Speaker 1: We have an election coming up. Yes, that's going to
- 15:32Speaker 1: happen in November. All of this still very bullish as
- 15:35Speaker 1: long as we don't see something crazy that's more of
- 15:37Speaker 1: a black swan gray swan event that starts to hit
- 15:40Speaker 1: the markets. So right now could be an interesting time
- 15:44Speaker 1: for getting back into the market in a way that
- 15:48Speaker 1: might be positioning some of your projects out there. Other
- 15:51Speaker 1: things that are happening right now. Crypto for Harris this
- 15:53Speaker 1: is a town hall that is now going to be
- 15:56Speaker 1: the event. It's happening on Wednesday night. This is right
- 15:58Speaker 1: before the d C with Rocanna, so that's kind of
- 16:03Speaker 1: the roundtable. Two different events, but this is one that
- 16:05Speaker 1: we might get a little bit of a hint of
- 16:08Speaker 1: the Harris campaign's position on crypto could open things up
- 16:12Speaker 1: for it. We'll see how this plays out for sure,
- 16:15Speaker 1: Aerlen or Tarrett of course breaking some details right here
- 16:18Speaker 1: on crypto for Harris. The group behind it this is
- 16:21Speaker 1: organizers of mixed industry participants, including Sheila Warren of the
- 16:25Speaker 1: Crypto Council, So kudos to Sheila for getting that done.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Next week's town hall also is going to be featuring
- 16:31Speaker 1: I think our one best opportunity is going to be
- 16:35Speaker 1: Richie Torres. I think he is really a rock star
- 16:38Speaker 1: when it comes to understanding, and this guy's a Democrat,
- 16:40Speaker 1: so definitely good Wiley Nicholby, there, Don Davis, and a
- 16:44Speaker 1: handful of others, with of course Rocanna and Mark Cuban
- 16:47Speaker 1: and Scaramucci. We'll see how this plays out, because listen,
- 16:51Speaker 1: at this point, we are in a position right now
- 16:53Speaker 1: where we don't really understand what many of these candidates
- 16:57Speaker 1: stand for, especially around especially from the Democrats, because it's
- 17:01Speaker 1: been a scenario where the Biden demonstration just has not
- 17:04Speaker 1: really opened up to that maybe things are changing. We
- 17:07Speaker 1: will see, all right. With all that being said, I
- 17:10Speaker 1: want to jump to this clip right here. This is
- 17:11Speaker 1: David Plouf, which is one of the campaign managers now
- 17:14Speaker 1: former blockchain enthusiasts and also involved in a lot of
- 17:17Speaker 1: different projects, and he talks about the potential here. So
- 17:20Speaker 1: take a look.
- 17:22Speaker 5: I spent some time at Uber and still do some
- 17:24Speaker 5: work for them now, and there's some lessons there, which
- 17:26Speaker 5: is I think oftentimes when they're new technology comes. We
- 17:29Speaker 5: saw that with Airbnb two. You know, policymakers and regulators
- 17:32Speaker 5: will say, how do we fit this new thing into
- 17:34Speaker 5: our old regulations? And that generally doesn't work. I know
- 17:37Speaker 5: that from being a government I mean, I remember when
- 17:39Speaker 5: Barack Obama asked us in government he wanted every regulation
- 17:43Speaker 5: reviewed that was on the books to make sure it
- 17:46Speaker 5: was still fit for a purpose. And we got rid
- 17:47Speaker 5: of hundreds of them, if not thousands, that might have
- 17:50Speaker 5: made sense, you know, thirty years ago, but didn't make
- 17:52Speaker 5: sense anymore. So the question is how do you craft
- 17:56Speaker 5: new regulations? Because there has to be new regulations. How
- 17:59Speaker 5: do we helped raise wages incredibly important, But there's a
- 18:04Speaker 5: flip side that you can also focus on, which is
- 18:06Speaker 5: how do we decrease costs? You know, it has the
- 18:08Speaker 5: same effect on people's bottom line, and I think crypto
- 18:11Speaker 5: and blockchain ultimately can save people a lot of money,
- 18:14Speaker 5: particularly in the lower end of the income spectrum, which
- 18:17Speaker 5: couldn't be more important that. I like to see governments,
- 18:20Speaker 5: you know, openly talk about the value of these platforms,
- 18:24Speaker 5: you know, real estate rental agreements, small business loans, you know,
- 18:28Speaker 5: all the way down to remittance. Is all of those
- 18:31Speaker 5: things right now super burdensome lots of time, a lot
- 18:35Speaker 5: of fees, and I think this technology offers the promise
- 18:39Speaker 5: to reduce a lot of that. You want to make
- 18:40Speaker 5: sure that a lot of that is is fostered here
- 18:43Speaker 5: in the United States.
- 18:45Speaker 6: So now David has indeed joined the Harris Wolfs campaign
- 18:50Speaker 6: as a senior advisor.
- 18:52Speaker 5: Interesting, So.
- 18:54Speaker 1: Your take on the pick.
- 18:57Speaker 5: These are mainstream, popular accomplishments cutting taxes, you know, especially
- 19:02Speaker 5: aimed at small businesses and working families. And of course
- 19:06Speaker 5: if Jdvans decides to debate, you know, Donald Trump right
- 19:09Speaker 5: now is in the mode of ducking debates. I look
- 19:11Speaker 5: forward that debate. I mean Tim Walls is normal, mainstream
- 19:17Speaker 5: and happy and Jdvans is weird, extreme and angry.
- 19:25Speaker 1: All right. So the good thing here is that maybe
- 19:27Speaker 1: on both sides we have crypto positions now, and that's
- 19:30Speaker 1: the good thing that is going to be great for
- 19:32Speaker 1: everybody out there. So if you're a single issue which
- 19:35Speaker 1: I think if you're following us on our channel, you
- 19:37Speaker 1: probably are a single issue voter, and that is something
- 19:40Speaker 1: that's good for crypto in general. Kevin O'Leary actually talked
- 19:43Speaker 1: a little bit more in detail what he thought about
- 19:46Speaker 1: what was happening.
- 19:46Speaker 3: Take a look, and I'm happy to finance with a
- 19:49Speaker 3: Democrat or Republican or independent. When you're trying to raise
- 19:52Speaker 3: a billion dollars, you don't care where it comes from.
- 19:54Speaker 3: And so we've been talking a lot about strategy here
- 19:57Speaker 3: regarding Harris how Comes. She hasn't taken an interview yet,
- 20:01Speaker 3: and I'll tell you exactly why fundraising is paramount right now.
- 20:06Speaker 3: And she is knocking out the lights in low amounts
- 20:09Speaker 3: and in high amounts, and so with her strategists last
- 20:12Speaker 3: week they decided they're not going to go in front
- 20:15Speaker 3: of any press.
- 20:17Speaker 1: They don't have to.
- 20:18Speaker 3: They're going to get the euphoria of today. They will
- 20:21Speaker 3: dominate the airwaves and social media today right in to
- 20:25Speaker 3: the convention, suck the air out of all the media
- 20:28Speaker 3: then and raise another hopefully two hundred million dollars. So
- 20:32Speaker 3: the game doesn't start on policy until after that happens,
- 20:37Speaker 3: because there's absolutely no reason to stop this momentum. And
- 20:41Speaker 3: that's a smart move. And in asking these advisors that
- 20:45Speaker 3: twenty percent and seven swing states, that's everything Trump and
- 20:49Speaker 3: his team are painting her with such a radical brush.
- 20:52Speaker 3: That's that's damaging in the Swing States, and it can't
- 20:55Speaker 3: go on forever. So she's balancing do I keep raising
- 20:58Speaker 3: money or do I get myself into a policy debate
- 21:01Speaker 3: on the air on a national network. And I think
- 21:04Speaker 3: money first, always money first in politics. Suck every drop,
- 21:09Speaker 3: ride the euphoria. Then let's deal with this move to
- 21:13Speaker 3: the center, and that's when it's going to get interesting.
- 21:15Speaker 3: And one last thought. Vice presidents are completely inconsequential. It's
- 21:20Speaker 3: they are irrelevant, as she was seventeen days ago.
- 21:24Speaker 1: All right, So a lot being said there by O'Leary
- 21:27Speaker 1: and ironically, I agree with him in the sense that, yes,
- 21:31Speaker 1: these are strategies in which you look at if you're
- 21:34Speaker 1: raising money, it's kind of like when you're fundraising for startup,
- 21:37Speaker 1: same kind of thing. You're out there pounding the streets
- 21:39Speaker 1: trying to get that startup money raised, and that's the
- 21:42Speaker 1: same kind of thing around political that last sixty days
- 21:45Speaker 1: to forty five days is going to be critical around
- 21:48Speaker 1: this campaign. So a lot happening here. Other things that
- 21:51Speaker 1: are happening is this right here, pro crypto superPAC Fairshake
- 21:55Speaker 1: has just now announced it's going to spend twenty five
- 21:57Speaker 1: million on TV ads to eighteen House candidates. That's the
- 22:02Speaker 1: big deal here, because we've already started to see losses
- 22:06Speaker 1: that have started to come in on things like the
- 22:08Speaker 1: House Democrats. Again, this is money on money, guys. This
- 22:12Speaker 1: is where we're going to be looking at how do
- 22:14Speaker 1: you win the House and the Senate because at the
- 22:15Speaker 1: end of the day, you're going to need to be
- 22:17Speaker 1: able to pass law, and to do that you cannot
- 22:20Speaker 1: have situations where you cannot get through both the House
- 22:23Speaker 1: and the Senate and into the President's desk. So a
- 22:25Speaker 1: lot of things happening right now. So many moving parts
- 22:28Speaker 1: and a lot of chess is now being played out there.
- 22:31Speaker 1: If you look at this, it is getting close, very
- 22:34Speaker 1: close on the election itself. We'll see how this plays
- 22:38Speaker 1: out over the next few months as things start to
- 22:40Speaker 1: get a little bit more tight. And I want to
- 22:41Speaker 1: go a little bit onto things that are coming out
- 22:43Speaker 1: of the Trump camp. This is Eric Trump talking about
- 22:46Speaker 1: he's following low with crypto, specifically DeFi, So stay tuned
- 22:50Speaker 1: for a big announcement. I don't know what they're up to,
- 22:52Speaker 1: because it's both Eric and also Donald Trump Junior talking
- 22:57Speaker 1: about this, and we're about to shake up the crypto
- 22:59Speaker 1: world something huge decentralized finance in the future. Don't get
- 23:02Speaker 1: left behind. This is interesting. If it's good for the
- 23:06Speaker 1: crypto community, this will be great. If it's good for
- 23:09Speaker 1: the Trump family. I don't know that this would be
- 23:11Speaker 1: a good thing to be spouting with this if they
- 23:14Speaker 1: have a strategy that does something with DeFi that is
- 23:18Speaker 1: part of policy, okay, back in the game. I think
- 23:21Speaker 1: that is something that would be creative and could start
- 23:25Speaker 1: to edge into which camp has the best opportunity. It
- 23:30Speaker 1: is so interesting to see that crypto is in the
- 23:33Speaker 1: center crosshairs of all of these situations playing into what's
- 23:38Speaker 1: happening around the political landscape right now. This is good
- 23:41Speaker 1: for the market, I think in general, and I think
- 23:43Speaker 1: it's going to be good for the United States. So
- 23:45Speaker 1: if you guys are not part of our diamond circle,
- 23:48Speaker 1: get in right now, because that is what keeps innovation

- 24:08Speaker 1: own financial condition and get into crypto. We'll see how
