- 1:16Speaker 5: It was good. A lot of things said. I can
- 1:21Speaker 5: only imagine the Spanish words that were spoken yesterday.
- 1:25Speaker 4: They crap, my goodness was absolutely incredible. It was. It
- 1:30Speaker 4: was awesome. They were way up there altitude yep.
- 1:35Speaker 5: Assuming soccer is not usually like that.
- 1:38Speaker 4: Uh, not like that.
- 1:40Speaker 3: That's one of the I can watch that game, famous
- 1:44Speaker 3: home field advantages that you'll find.
- 1:46Speaker 4: No, I could watch that game for sure. Oh it's awesome. Yeah,
- 1:50Speaker 4: it was incredible. Both games yesterday were actually incredible.
- 1:55Speaker 5: Yeah, no, this is it's been a it's been a
- 1:57Speaker 5: very good World Cup. So hats off for a known
- 2:02Speaker 5: and very public you know, not a hater, but certainly
- 2:06Speaker 5: a second guesser of soccer.
- 2:11Speaker 4: Sure it will take that. They like that one, we'll
- 2:14Speaker 4: take that. We'll take that.
- 2:15Speaker 3: The US place today tonight, Belgium, seven pm. We'll get
- 2:22Speaker 3: into that. There's a lot to get into with that,
- 2:24Speaker 3: a lot to get into, and you know, some disagreements
- 2:30Speaker 3: online if you will, But I don't really care. I
- 2:32Speaker 3: care about America, including America's.
- 2:35Speaker 5: Birthday a week weekend.
- 2:38Speaker 3: Yeah, a lot of weak chin takes two hundred and
- 2:41Speaker 3: fifty years shout out to America.
- 2:43Speaker 4: Yeah, that was awesome, great weekend fireworks in the air.
- 2:48Speaker 5: You can feel the patriotism just in the air. I
- 2:50Speaker 5: don't know if it was just me or not.
- 2:51Speaker 3: No, I feel like I had Lee Greenwood just walking
- 2:54Speaker 3: behind me all weekend, just the entire weekend, just singing
- 2:57Speaker 3: God Bless the USA.
- 2:59Speaker 5: I felt like that too, And I was like, I
- 3:01Speaker 5: don't wonder why, And I was like, because I had
- 3:02Speaker 5: it on repeat on my phone, just sitting in my pocket. Yeah,
- 3:06Speaker 5: I had to charge my phone nine times in one.
- 3:11Speaker 4: Of those portable chargers.
- 3:12Speaker 5: Yeah, I had a couple of battery packs on me
- 3:14Speaker 5: because I had Lee Greenwood on repeat, a little Toby Keith.
- 3:20Speaker 5: I was the weekend we you know, we went and
- 3:24Speaker 5: got the fireworks and did the whole deal.
- 3:27Speaker 4: You know you're not supposed to.
- 3:28Speaker 5: It's like, oh no, I don't know.
- 3:31Speaker 4: Now we live in St George, I think, so maybe.
- 3:33Speaker 2: Do you mind it?
- 3:33Speaker 4: Good?
- 3:33Speaker 2: Because I know it's I don't know, unless it's unless
- 3:36Speaker 2: it's Perish wide and not just Betton Rouge because it didn't.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Saint George's still an eb R parish.
- 3:43Speaker 4: I love that.
- 3:44Speaker 5: I don't know either, And now I think we live
- 3:46Speaker 5: in St George. Now I think, yeah, I don't know
- 3:49Speaker 5: where really where that line is?
- 3:50Speaker 4: Well, I mean you're the one told me I did.
- 3:52Speaker 4: I think you were a launcher one.
- 3:53Speaker 2: Yeah, that's that's someone who's lived in Batterige for a
- 3:55Speaker 2: long time would say, like, I think I think now.
- 3:58Speaker 5: Well, I mean someone ask for addresses. I mean I
- 4:01Speaker 5: live in technically like Saint George, but your address bat Ruge. Yeah,
- 4:07Speaker 5: I don't know if that changes or not. When does
- 4:08Speaker 5: that change?
- 4:09Speaker 4: I don't know when's that in effect that I don't know.
- 4:11Speaker 3: I guess i'll find out if I having sat George
- 4:13Speaker 3: when that happens, when the old male gets returned to
- 4:16Speaker 3: cinder Yep.
- 4:18Speaker 5: But no fireworks, for sure. You can you can do
- 4:20Speaker 5: those anywhere I think you.
- 4:23Speaker 4: Should be able to. No, you can't.
- 4:25Speaker 5: And fiftieth birthday of check, Well, that's the thing I mean,
- 4:28Speaker 5: I think.
- 4:28Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 4:29Speaker 5: I don't know how strongly it gets policed on two days.
- 4:32Speaker 4: Out of the year.
- 4:33Speaker 5: I would assume on the third or fifth. Gotta be
- 4:36Speaker 5: a little character on the fourth. I don't know.
- 4:41Speaker 4: It'd be tough to be very Unamerican.
- 4:44Speaker 5: It'd be tough to catch everybody, that's true.
- 4:46Speaker 4: It's gonna say that.
- 4:47Speaker 5: Yeah, But I was in charge of fireworks at our party,
- 4:50Speaker 5: not gonna. I'm not gonna disclose the location where it
- 4:54Speaker 5: was or wasn't, parts unknown, parts unknown. So I had to,
- 4:58Speaker 5: you know, I had to travel down on the road
- 5:00Speaker 5: a little bit to find the fireworks. Went there, went
- 5:02Speaker 5: to a place that I've gone the last couple of holidays.
- 5:05Speaker 5: Fireworks holidays, say Gabriel, I actually I couldn't tell you.
- 5:13Speaker 5: I'm gonna be honest with you, I don't know places
- 5:17Speaker 5: about parish names, gables, the city. Yep, I know, obviously
- 5:25Speaker 5: clearly joking here on this Monday morning.
- 5:28Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 5:28Speaker 5: Uh so it was great. It was fantastic. I'm a
- 5:31Speaker 5: little bit of a pyro, so I do. I love
- 5:34Speaker 5: a firework and I bet felt very you know, felt
- 5:39Speaker 5: very datish doing it. Having to like wrangle with kids
- 5:42Speaker 5: and tell them to get out of here, and you know,
- 5:44Speaker 5: having to police them around the fireworks. I remember being
- 5:47Speaker 5: that kid growing up.
- 5:48Speaker 3: You're trying to act like you're policing them because you
- 5:50Speaker 3: really want to light them.
- 5:51Speaker 5: Yeah, like get out of here so I can. Yeah,
- 5:53Speaker 5: so I can light these things.
- 5:55Speaker 3: So it was a good that it don't work for
- 5:57Speaker 3: me because I got teenagers, that's true.
- 5:59Speaker 5: But it was great.
- 6:00Speaker 4: It's amazing.
- 6:00Speaker 5: But you can go by and like the quality of firework.
- 6:04Speaker 5: You can just go get comes in a little cube,
- 6:08Speaker 5: just light it up. I feel like the man people
- 6:11Speaker 5: are like that is a great firework show. I'm like,
- 6:13Speaker 5: well thanks, I did it all myself. Actually, this cube
- 6:18Speaker 5: I bought, it's got a hundred shots in it and
- 6:20Speaker 5: then just you just light it once and it just goes.
- 6:23Speaker 5: It's pretty awesome. So we had a great time.
- 6:26Speaker 3: Mm hmm uh luke dat How was the the Fourth
- 6:29Speaker 3: of July festivities?
- 6:31Speaker 4: It was good.
- 6:32Speaker 5: I celebrated it in San Antonio.
- 6:35Speaker 4: Got back last night. We had a.
- 6:39Speaker 5: Nice little pool party, had so many waters all the.
- 6:46Speaker 4: Yeah, it was good. It was nice. Yeah, it was
- 6:48Speaker 4: nice to celebrate the fourth out of town. So yeah,
- 6:51Speaker 4: it's kind of cool. Time awesome, added LP take in
- 6:56Speaker 4: the We.
- 6:56Speaker 2: Had a big one. I mean, we had a festival
- 6:59Speaker 2: that's art at the park outn Walker. I think it
- 7:01Speaker 2: opened at like two. We didn't get there until seven,
- 7:05Speaker 2: but got there at seven late. Watched the hot dog
- 7:09Speaker 2: eating contest of course, went around all the vendor stands,
- 7:13Speaker 2: got us a dirty soda, maybe some other beverages as well.
- 7:16Speaker 2: Then fireworks nine o'clock. That firework show, it was like
- 7:20Speaker 2: over thirty minutes. We timed it. It was incredibly long,
- 7:23Speaker 2: like not really a finale. It just kind of ended.
- 7:25Speaker 2: But it was great. It was long. We had a
- 7:28Speaker 2: good time. Started early. I mean, I'm sitting there inside,
- 7:31Speaker 2: it's one forty five Saturday here fireworks outside popping. Like,
- 7:36Speaker 2: I appreciate the enthusiasm. I don't know how well you're
- 7:39Speaker 2: going to see a firework at one in the afternoon
- 7:42Speaker 2: on a sunny day. But they got started early out
- 7:45Speaker 2: there and no pe.
- 7:45Speaker 5: Sure, sometimes it's just about the noises.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Yeah, sometimes it's just the vibe. It was great. We
- 7:51Speaker 2: had a great time.
- 7:53Speaker 4: It's fantastic.
- 7:54Speaker 2: We were kind of on on baby watch over the weekend.
- 7:57Speaker 2: I was like, Okay, let's see what's gonna happen. Still nothing.
- 8:00Speaker 2: I'm questioning whether nothing. She's she's faking it now. I'm
- 8:06Speaker 2: gonna be very real at that point. Yeah, I think so. Boy,
- 8:11Speaker 2: we're hoping to hold out until after the eighth, be
- 8:16Speaker 2: cause her O B G y N went on like
- 8:18Speaker 2: a two week vacation. She's like, yeah, I'll be back
- 8:21Speaker 2: on the eighth. I'm like, if we could wait till then,
- 8:23Speaker 2: all the doctors there were great. She's just familiar with
- 8:26Speaker 2: this one, you know, so it's in a perfect world.
- 8:29Speaker 5: Oh for sure. Yeah, you want your doctor right now.
- 8:32Speaker 5: And she's like, yeah, I'll be back on the eighth.
- 8:34Speaker 5: And we're like, Okay, that's really close to the due day.
- 8:36Speaker 5: Hopefully we're hopefully we're good, but I think we'll be good.
- 8:39Speaker 5: Hopefully that's the two days. Look, you're ready to jump
- 8:43Speaker 5: over to do both board. If he gets the call,
- 8:45Speaker 5: you ready, I'll jump on.
- 8:55Speaker 3: What would we do if somehow, some way they didn't
- 8:59Speaker 3: show up in the morning.
- 9:02Speaker 4: I guess we just throw it to national. We don't
- 9:04Speaker 4: know how to do that. That's a good point.
- 9:06Speaker 5: I don't know, Like, does it just automatically come on
- 9:08Speaker 5: automatically showed up?
- 9:11Speaker 2: This room automatically goes live. So in order to put
- 9:14Speaker 2: it to national, y'all would have to go over here
- 9:15Speaker 2: and like pot it up, kick it on.
- 9:17Speaker 4: So we we do radio.
- 9:19Speaker 3: So we could do radio if it automatically, Yeah, you
- 9:22Speaker 3: would just have to turn on your mics.
- 9:23Speaker 4: I definitely know what you button's back there for sure.
- 9:26Speaker 2: It's the easy part. The mics are literally labeled one
- 9:29Speaker 2: through six. I would just turn all six of them morning. Well,
- 9:31Speaker 2: what happens a commercial?
- 9:32Speaker 4: Though?
- 9:33Speaker 5: We would never go It would be three straight hours.
- 9:34Speaker 5: It would never go to commercial.
- 9:36Speaker 2: Just fired off.
- 9:37Speaker 5: I could show you the basis, but don't you wouldn't
- 9:40Speaker 5: be here, right, I guess at the end of the
- 9:43Speaker 5: hour automat that.
- 9:44Speaker 3: Luke drank too many waters in San Antonio and you
- 9:47Speaker 3: had your baby and then uh oh whoop, here we
- 9:50Speaker 3: go two meat heads, you got to run the show.
- 9:53Speaker 5: We would never go to break unless it automatically goes
- 9:55Speaker 5: at the end of the hour. We would just do
- 9:58Speaker 5: our own commercials. Yeah, is water is you know we
- 10:03Speaker 5: could do them.
- 10:03Speaker 2: I know that one.
- 10:04Speaker 4: I know that one.
- 10:06Speaker 3: Just do them, So we we'd go to break kind of,
- 10:09Speaker 3: but we would just be doing the commercials that we hear.
- 10:12Speaker 2: I'm so worried about her, like, yeah, going into labor
- 10:16Speaker 2: at like four am. I'm like, I'm gonna have to
- 10:18Speaker 2: call somebody. It ain't nobody gonna wake up at four
- 10:20Speaker 2: am to fill in for me a day, so that
- 10:23Speaker 2: that's gonna be a day, depending on what theme that happens.
- 10:26Speaker 5: So, you know, nothing like this ever happens in the
- 10:28Speaker 5: middle of the day. It's gonna be in the middle
- 10:29Speaker 5: of the night. I know.
- 10:32Speaker 2: If it's in the middle of the night, I'm like,
- 10:33Speaker 2: let it be like nine o'clock at night. No, at
- 10:36Speaker 2: least that way I can call somebody.
- 10:37Speaker 4: Hey about three fifty seven.
- 10:41Speaker 2: Well, well you'll see, you'll see a text message in
- 10:44Speaker 2: the ESPN group chat. And that's all I can do.
- 10:47Speaker 2: All I can I can.
- 10:48Speaker 5: I can get those boards up, I'll zoom in, I'll
- 10:51Speaker 5: zoom in on Jake's face. That'd be kind of fun.
- 10:57Speaker 5: Me and you, it's me and you ran the whole show. Really,
- 11:00Speaker 5: See the TV over here is off.
- 11:02Speaker 2: The TV's Oh it was dark as hell the other day.
- 11:05Speaker 4: I'll fix it. Now.
- 11:08Speaker 3: You can get one of those for about fourteen dollars
- 11:11Speaker 3: at Walmart.
- 11:12Speaker 4: Now.
- 11:12Speaker 5: I do like how I got the Brian Kelly football
- 11:14Speaker 5: in the shade a little bit.
- 11:16Speaker 4: You can see the signature.
- 11:19Speaker 2: See that smudge, Matt, pretty recognizable signature.
- 11:22Speaker 5: Randy Jackson on the day that we put the football
- 11:26Speaker 5: helmets back out because Taylor said, it's football season, you're
- 11:31Speaker 5: gonna put that up here. Yeah, you ever heard of
- 11:35Speaker 5: LSU football? He's the former head coach.
- 11:37Speaker 4: Yeah, I have.
- 11:39Speaker 5: I have a big deal. Not everybody can get that job.
- 11:42Speaker 3: Well, the last three one national championships before that, we
- 11:46Speaker 3: don't have.
- 11:46Speaker 4: A ball up of them. Gone too soon.
- 11:54Speaker 3: No, you can listen to him called Hawaii Fresno this
- 11:58Speaker 3: year I shot at Actually I don't know if I
- 12:00Speaker 3: think in the back too big for him.
- 12:09Speaker 4: Well, what you're watching.
- 12:10Speaker 5: Over there watching stage three of the Tour de France,
- 12:16Speaker 5: No tour that tour. So stage three started this weekend
- 12:21Speaker 5: started on July fourth, which I didn't love.
- 12:24Speaker 4: That's weird. Don't love that.
- 12:26Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't know why somebody else happened happened to
- 12:30Speaker 5: fall on a Saturday, you know, so, so we're excited. Todday,
- 12:34Speaker 5: Pagacha came in looking like slim Shady, got his hair bleached,
- 12:38Speaker 5: like a baseball travel bro. Yeah, he's He's a baseball
- 12:41Speaker 5: travel guy. He just got with his travel season. Played
- 12:43Speaker 5: in the World Series. It was in it was in France.
- 12:48Speaker 5: Only French teams though, played in it. Yeah, so he's
- 12:54Speaker 5: by far the favorite. I sent you a lot of
- 12:56Speaker 5: the screenshots. He's pretty much won every time he's gotten
- 12:59Speaker 5: a this year as far as a big time race,
- 13:03Speaker 5: So the heavy favorite, going for his fifth all time
- 13:07Speaker 5: toward De France win. Of course, his main rival, Jonas
- 13:12Speaker 5: winga go for Team Visma, is there as well, and
- 13:17Speaker 5: he's actually Yonas is actually wearing the yellow jersey right now.
- 13:21Speaker 5: Yellow jersey tends to switch out a few times, a
- 13:23Speaker 5: good handful of times, maybe a couple of handful of
- 13:25Speaker 5: fulls of times, kind of depends on how the race
- 13:29Speaker 5: lays out, what kind of stages they have early on
- 13:31Speaker 5: when they started out the Towar de France with a
- 13:33Speaker 5: little team time trial which didn't happen all the time,
- 13:37Speaker 5: and Yonas took the yellow jersey. He won it, won
- 13:42Speaker 5: the team time trial. But Tyde, of course these are
- 13:47Speaker 5: right behind him. I think he's seven six seconds behind,
- 13:50Speaker 5: so he'll get it. What does that mean for American
- 13:57Speaker 5: Oh yeah, they're not they're not there. You know we
- 14:00Speaker 5: used to be, Well we did.
- 14:05Speaker 4: They got any more of that secret sauce, got any
- 14:08Speaker 4: more lances out there? No?
- 14:10Speaker 5: Yeah, I think so today is probably gonna he's in
- 14:14Speaker 5: good form right now. Okay, probably gonna go down as
- 14:16Speaker 5: the best biker of all time. So if you remember
- 14:22Speaker 5: from last year me educating you today won two years,
- 14:26Speaker 5: and then Jonas came back and won two years in
- 14:28Speaker 5: a row after that, and then Toddy two more years out.
- 14:31Speaker 5: He's so he's won four total, he's going first five Okay,
- 14:37Speaker 5: so very exciting. The team try time trave was actually
- 14:39Speaker 5: really really funny because they got their individual times, but
- 14:43Speaker 5: like the whole team sits there and works for their leader, right,
- 14:46Speaker 5: so they will go out and they will lead the pack,
- 14:49Speaker 5: so they will be that first person in line to
- 14:52Speaker 5: you know, create the slipstream. So they're the ones that
- 14:55Speaker 5: going into the wind, but everybody's drafting behind them, and
- 14:57Speaker 5: they'll just absolutely wear themselves out and they'll keep their
- 15:00Speaker 5: team leader at the back the entire time, so they'll
- 15:02Speaker 5: wear themselves out until they can't pump their legs anymore,
- 15:06Speaker 5: and then they'll just drop off and then the next
- 15:08Speaker 5: guy steps up, and they like pretty much just sacrifice
- 15:11Speaker 5: the real.
- 15:11Speaker 3: Like Ricky Bobby, Yes, yeah, but they're thinking what if
- 15:16Speaker 3: I finished first one time?
- 15:18Speaker 5: Yeah, but like now what I win? You know, So
- 15:22Speaker 5: like they do, they absolutely just destroy their bodies and
- 15:26Speaker 5: to get their team leader to the front of the pack.
- 15:29Speaker 5: And so yesterday in stage two, today the favorite, and
- 15:33Speaker 5: he's got one of the best teams right.
- 15:36Speaker 4: They are.
- 15:37Speaker 5: He has a leadout guy. He's a first year guy,
- 15:39Speaker 5: young fella, last name del Toro from Mexico. So it
- 15:44Speaker 5: could have been a really big day from Mexico all
- 15:46Speaker 5: in all yesterday. But he leads today out up a
- 15:49Speaker 5: hill because it's a it's a little bit of an uphill,
- 15:51Speaker 5: then a downhill, then an uphill finish. So they're attacking
- 15:55Speaker 5: Jonis finger go Yeskay del Toro and today and he's
- 15:59Speaker 5: sackered fights himself but he still got the legs to
- 16:01Speaker 5: go and he is pushing towards the finish line. They
- 16:05Speaker 5: get a little space between their the rival Yonas and
- 16:09Speaker 5: today is supposed to win the when the win the race,
- 16:12Speaker 5: but his leadout guy and he's a young guy, was
- 16:15Speaker 5: doing so awesome. Todday just yells at him, is like,
- 16:17Speaker 5: go go, you just win it, and he like pushes
- 16:20Speaker 5: him across the finish line right in front of him.
- 16:22Speaker 5: Good team player, good team player. It's a good moment.
- 16:27Speaker 4: Who mmm who like? Who decides?
- 16:31Speaker 5: Like New Mexico won a stage race first time in
- 16:33Speaker 5: a long time yesterday?
- 16:36Speaker 4: Okay, yeah, they didn't win against England.
- 16:38Speaker 5: They didn't lost three to two.
- 16:42Speaker 4: The Power didn't go out like I was hoping.
- 16:44Speaker 5: Yeah, really a lose lose situation. I feel like that one.
- 16:51Speaker 5: I didn't want England to win.
- 16:52Speaker 4: I gotta tell you it's kind of what the power
- 16:54Speaker 4: to go out?
- 16:55Speaker 5: Yeah again because goes us.
- 16:59Speaker 4: His biggest on soccer. It's not closed, no question. I can't.
- 17:03Speaker 4: I can't do that.
- 17:04Speaker 3: Sorry, sorry Danny, Sorry Landra. I can't do it, won't
- 17:07Speaker 3: do it. But you know it is two fifty of
- 17:13Speaker 3: our country.
- 17:16Speaker 5: Who but in fairness we beat the breaks off of England. Yeah, yeah,
- 17:20Speaker 5: when we fought him. Yeah, and then they've been a
- 17:22Speaker 5: little chirpy online. Get this pub that's older than your country.
- 17:26Speaker 5: It's like, okay, you realize, like you saying that and
- 17:30Speaker 5: us showing you these hands and you catching these hands
- 17:33Speaker 5: makes you look worse, right, Yeah, And that pub pretty old,
- 17:36Speaker 5: probably needs a good pressure washing. The last time you renovated,
- 17:40Speaker 5: nobody wants to go in that old place. Get something new,
- 17:43Speaker 5: modernize it a little bit. Yeah, but I don't like
- 17:46Speaker 5: Harrycane's face. I've said it here. He looks like Beavis
- 17:48Speaker 5: a little bit. Like I'm watching the game, it looks
- 17:51Speaker 5: like Beavis. So who were you all for last night?
- 17:53Speaker 5: I saw a lot of chat. That's just a good question.
- 17:57Speaker 5: I was for Carnage, I mean we got a lot
- 18:00Speaker 5: of that.
- 18:00Speaker 2: I guess i'd be for England, like I guess, like
- 18:03Speaker 2: I'd personally just fit in better in England. Just looked wise,
- 18:06Speaker 2: I could pass for British and like a little bit
- 18:08Speaker 2: less cartels, So like, I'll go England, I guess.
- 18:11Speaker 5: Yeah. We had Mexican food last night to go, and
- 18:16Speaker 5: we came home and watched a Marvel movie and then
- 18:18Speaker 5: I watched the second half of the game after the
- 18:21Speaker 5: movie was over, so I couldn't. Like when I watched games,
- 18:26Speaker 5: my body automatically starts to cheer for somebody, and it
- 18:29Speaker 5: was oh, really, yeah okay, because I was, I did
- 18:32Speaker 5: and it was like England. My brain was telling me
- 18:36Speaker 5: to cheer for Mexico. Yeah, but Mexico ran out of plays.
- 18:41Speaker 5: They round out of things to do with the ball
- 18:43Speaker 5: at the end, none of it worked. Yeah, we can
- 18:49Speaker 5: break it all down.
- 18:50Speaker 4: We will break it all down whenever we come back.
- 18:53Speaker 3: It is Monday here on otb Our Monday Show's course
- 18:56Speaker 3: brought to you by by you.
- 18:57Speaker 4: Automotive is off the bench.
- 19:14Speaker 5: Up, welcome back. All right, how are we doing over there?
- 19:22Speaker 5: Everything's good, crushing.
- 19:24Speaker 2: It and it's coming out of the rock behind us,
- 19:33Speaker 2: not through the board. So we said it.
- 19:36Speaker 5: Hey, you know, it's early, it's early on the week.
- 19:39Speaker 5: It's Monday morning. Our one working some kinks out.
- 19:44Speaker 3: You know, we're all about to the leather of the
- 19:47Speaker 3: law here. Got to make sure it's done the right way.
- 19:51Speaker 3: We've always said it. This is the show.
- 19:54Speaker 5: I want to hear us starting to scream at you.
- 20:00Speaker 4: Yeah, that's not gonna happen. Uh, we are back here,
- 20:02Speaker 4: o TB.
- 20:03Speaker 3: We did have some World Cup news for the Americans yesterday.
- 20:09Speaker 3: For the United States of America, flow Balligan is going
- 20:14Speaker 3: to be eligible to play tonight against Belgium.
- 20:18Speaker 4: Uh.
- 20:18Speaker 3: They suspended his red card and so he's got to
- 20:21Speaker 3: serve it within you know, a calendar year, I believe
- 20:24Speaker 3: is the verbiage of it.
- 20:26Speaker 5: And so like they can choose some random Nations League
- 20:29Speaker 5: game against some picker team. No, that's that. That would
- 20:36Speaker 5: be a team that we would play in the Nations League.
- 20:39Speaker 4: What's the Nations League against go? I mean, I really
- 20:43Speaker 4: don't care who it is as long as time Mexico.
- 20:46Speaker 4: What's the Nations League?
- 20:47Speaker 3: It's just a tournament of the confederation conker CAF that
- 20:52Speaker 3: the US plays in Canada and Mexico and other Caribbean
- 20:57Speaker 3: teams and Panama or confederate ration.
- 21:02Speaker 4: All right, just another tournament. Got it. Didn't know we
- 21:06Speaker 4: were allowed to say that anymore. Tournament or nation confederation.
- 21:13Speaker 4: It's what it's like, a soccer confederation. Okay, yeah, all right,
- 21:15Speaker 4: we got it. Learned something new every day.
- 21:17Speaker 3: So uh, Flobalagon is gonna be able to play and
- 21:20Speaker 3: oh man, the old Europeans are not happy online about
- 21:25Speaker 3: this one.
- 21:26Speaker 5: Gosh, I heard some kind of shown the true colors.
- 21:28Speaker 4: I heard some.
- 21:29Speaker 3: People like I really, I really thought, were like tough
- 21:32Speaker 3: and gritty, just like completely whine about it and just
- 21:37Speaker 3: say say the word shameful as many times you could
- 21:39Speaker 3: say it in like a thirty second period. And look
- 21:42Speaker 3: is it is? It has it got a little mess
- 21:44Speaker 3: to it?
- 21:45Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 21:45Speaker 3: Maybe so, uh but I mean just you know, this
- 21:48Speaker 3: now makes the fifth player that had a red card
- 21:52Speaker 3: situation that is not going to serve it here in
- 21:55Speaker 3: this World Cup, including Christiano Ronaldo. He had one coming
- 22:00Speaker 3: and it's gonna have a three game ban actually, and
- 22:02Speaker 3: so they actually used the same rule in that ruling.
- 22:08Speaker 3: So a lot of back and forth, a lot of
- 22:10Speaker 3: Europeans mad online, man at a lot of people over
- 22:13Speaker 3: the pond, a lot of Canadians actually, maybe more than anybody,
- 22:17Speaker 3: because oh my gosh, if you tweet about it, here
- 22:20Speaker 3: comes the Canadians on social media.
- 22:22Speaker 5: Yes what I mean, Look, they get one win, they
- 22:28Speaker 5: win a game.
- 22:29Speaker 4: We're gonna make fun of Canada.
- 22:30Speaker 3: A little bit later on with their coach, it was
- 22:32Speaker 3: like I'd rather be us than them.
- 22:34Speaker 4: Them moved on to the next round.
- 22:38Speaker 3: The timing of it is about the only thing that
- 22:40Speaker 3: I think you could complain about twenty four hours before
- 22:43Speaker 3: a match, and if you're Belgium's coaches, you're like, hey,
- 22:46Speaker 3: We've prepared for this and now it might be that.
- 22:48Speaker 3: I get that part, you know that portion, that part
- 22:50Speaker 3: of it, But it should have never been a red card.
- 22:54Speaker 4: Should have never been.
- 22:55Speaker 3: Like ninety nine percent of the people that saw that
- 22:58Speaker 3: said it should have never been a red card. And
- 23:00Speaker 3: so if it should have been done like right afterwards,
- 23:04Speaker 3: I get that, but let's not act like this was
- 23:07Speaker 3: an egregious red card that they're turning a blind eye to.
- 23:11Speaker 4: Either. Yeah, the.
- 23:14Speaker 5: Like the whole Belgium head coach situation, like in the
- 23:18Speaker 5: weak comments that are made, and like the like don't
- 23:22Speaker 5: you like the World Cup, especially if somebody was wronged
- 23:26Speaker 5: in some way, if something was called that wasn't fair.
- 23:28Speaker 5: Don't you want to like not win by like some
- 23:34Speaker 5: messed up call, messed up situation. Don't you want to
- 23:36Speaker 5: play somebody's best?
- 23:38Speaker 4: You would think so?
- 23:39Speaker 3: Not not with the verbiage that's coming out of there.
- 23:43Speaker 5: No, yeah, they don't.
- 23:44Speaker 4: They were excited that it's July.
- 23:46Speaker 3: I think he said like something like, it's July fifth,
- 23:48Speaker 3: but it feels like April first.
- 23:50Speaker 4: Yeah, it feels like April fool's.
- 23:51Speaker 5: Yeah, he's basically said, where's Ashton might being punk right now?
- 23:55Speaker 5: So yeah, you would think that, But I guess it's
- 23:57Speaker 5: not surprising coming from those little year peeing countries over there.
- 24:02Speaker 5: They want to play you at your worst. They're hoping
- 24:04Speaker 5: that your best players are always gone, even though even
- 24:07Speaker 5: if he got kicked out and got a red card
- 24:08Speaker 5: for no reason.
- 24:10Speaker 4: Yeah so.
- 24:11Speaker 3: In an ESPN dot com article, a former Premier League
- 24:16Speaker 3: reph Andy Davies said, in my postmatch review, I spoke
- 24:20Speaker 3: about not only the decision being incorrect, but the var
- 24:23Speaker 3: process not aligning to protocol, as only slow mo and
- 24:27Speaker 3: still pictures were presented to the referee when asked to
- 24:29Speaker 3: review the situation at the screen. Real time footage should
- 24:34Speaker 3: have been considered by the referee and this was not
- 24:37Speaker 3: the case in my opinion. Again, this is a long
- 24:40Speaker 3: time Premier League referee. In my opinion, FIFA has reviewed
- 24:43Speaker 3: the incident internally and felt that either the judgment to
- 24:46Speaker 3: send Baaligan off was incorrect or the correct process to
- 24:52Speaker 3: do so via Vaar was not followed. But either way,
- 24:56Speaker 3: this outcome feels like a pivot from FIFA using a
- 24:59Speaker 3: regulation to add credibility to their reasoning. The decision lacks
- 25:04Speaker 3: transparency and credible rationality as to why a red card
- 25:09Speaker 3: has effectively been overturned. To summarize, Davies says, the call
- 25:14Speaker 3: was wrong and the wrong procedure was used to make it.
- 25:17Speaker 4: That's oh for two.
- 25:19Speaker 3: But FIFA owes it to everyone, the United States men's
- 25:22Speaker 3: national team, it's fans, Belgium, everyone else to explain the process.
- 25:26Speaker 3: So you have a lot of referees saying, actually, it
- 25:29Speaker 3: wasn't a foul. Actually the process they used to confirm
- 25:32Speaker 3: the red card was not correct. But I think there's
- 25:35Speaker 3: a large portion of people that aren't really upset that
- 25:41Speaker 3: it was overturned. I think more the timing of it.
- 25:43Speaker 3: But again we always talk about it. If you just
- 25:45Speaker 3: kind of came out, like if FIFA came out and
- 25:47Speaker 3: they were like, yeah, hey, here's the deal, here's why
- 25:50Speaker 3: we did it, I think that that does ease some
- 25:51Speaker 3: of the control, because now it does feel like it
- 25:56Speaker 3: could be a distraction.
- 26:01Speaker 4: The only thing to me that.
- 26:05Speaker 5: Whatever I would question, like the legitimacy of this is like,
- 26:11Speaker 5: because everybody's questioning, like, did the president have something to
- 26:13Speaker 5: do with this? It was this like collusion. This is
- 26:15Speaker 5: stinky blah blah blah. That's everybody's complain about it. The
- 26:18Speaker 5: only thing that, like, I think gives any credence to
- 26:20Speaker 5: any of that is you said the things like he
- 26:23Speaker 5: was given a wrongful red card and it's over too
- 26:26Speaker 5: on the things that we measured.
- 26:27Speaker 4: Yeah, why does he have to still serve it?
- 26:30Speaker 5: Like is it not reverse to the fact that, like,
- 26:34Speaker 5: to the fact that he still has to serve the
- 26:36Speaker 5: red car within a calendar year makes this like is
- 26:39Speaker 5: the only thing I think that gives people ammunition. You're
- 26:42Speaker 5: see you're you're still admitting that he was wrong right
- 26:45Speaker 5: and has the red card. You're not taking the red
- 26:47Speaker 5: card away, suspending it. You're telling me that it's he
- 26:50Speaker 5: shouldn't have got it. It was wrong. We see the
- 26:53Speaker 5: NFL do this all the time. They reverse rulings like
- 26:56Speaker 5: they reverse good calls, they reverse bad like they reverse
- 26:59Speaker 5: ps like if if a referee misses a call, they'll
- 27:02Speaker 5: go back and find somebody right. Yeah, but they're not
- 27:06Speaker 5: reversing it. They're just saying it was wrong. You still
- 27:11Speaker 5: got to serve it. Yeah, we're gonna let you play now, right,
- 27:14Speaker 5: which is which to me is still a good call.
- 27:16Speaker 5: It's a very aware call, like, don't make anybody servant
- 27:19Speaker 5: like that in the World Cup. Make them serve it
- 27:22Speaker 5: another time, which is what they're doing. But the excuse
- 27:25Speaker 5: doesn't like line up exactly to me with what they're
- 27:29Speaker 5: telling him that they're still making him serve it at
- 27:32Speaker 5: some point, just take it away.
- 27:35Speaker 3: Yeah, And I'm gonna be real honest with you. It's
- 27:40Speaker 3: loud from Canada and Europe, and I'm gonna be real.
- 27:45Speaker 4: I don't care.
- 27:47Speaker 1: Hu.
- 27:48Speaker 3: You can be mad, you can say the process and
- 27:51Speaker 3: corruption all of that.
- 27:53Speaker 4: All I care about.
- 27:55Speaker 3: Is the United States men's national team winning tonight against Belgium.
- 27:59Speaker 4: All I care about, right, wrong or indifference. All I
- 28:02Speaker 4: care about. A win in tonight's match, right. Round of
- 28:09Speaker 4: sixteen would be monumental for US soccer. Monumental.
- 28:18Speaker 3: It would be the first time they ever won two
- 28:19Speaker 3: knockout games in a World Cup, right, I mean, it's
- 28:23Speaker 3: it only happened one time before. We'll get ready, so
- 28:27Speaker 3: like there's there there would be an entire generation of Americans,
- 28:32Speaker 3: certainly like.
- 28:34Speaker 4: Youth, that are watching this.
- 28:37Speaker 3: That are going to want to do that that never
- 28:40Speaker 3: maybe before, would want to do that at that level.
- 28:43Speaker 3: It's monumental for the growth of soccer in this country.
- 28:46Speaker 4: That's huge. I mean, especially like.
- 28:50Speaker 5: We get to watch it in our time zone, We
- 28:53Speaker 5: get to watch it on our soil, the crowded, our
- 28:57Speaker 5: back so like you're just like you said, like if
- 28:59Speaker 5: they win, it's gonna be huge for soccer in this country.
- 29:02Speaker 5: I would think it would be.
- 29:03Speaker 4: Yes, it will, I mean more so than than playing
- 29:06Speaker 4: in host having to wake up at nine am and
- 29:07Speaker 4: watch it. Right, Like if it's in four years.
- 29:10Speaker 5: I don't know where it's going in four years, but
- 29:12Speaker 5: I'm assuming it's not gonna be in our times.
- 29:13Speaker 4: I say, but.
- 29:14Speaker 5: You'll so you'll have all eyes on it. It's the
- 29:16Speaker 5: best opportunity.
- 29:18Speaker 3: Spain and Morocco. I'll be sharing it all right for
- 29:21Speaker 3: the next one. So to your point, but we're we're
- 29:23Speaker 3: gonna win. Yeah, we gotta flow.
- 29:27Speaker 4: We owe Belgium one too. Oh, we owe them. I
- 29:29Speaker 4: don't know what from but.
- 29:30Speaker 3: Twenty fourteen when Tim Howard made thirty seven thousand saves,
- 29:35Speaker 3: it got us right, They.
- 29:36Speaker 5: Got us, They go, Yeah, next time we'll get right
- 29:39Speaker 5: game it is. We don't get right payback for that.
- 29:41Speaker 5: We're gonna punch around the face.
- 29:45Speaker 3: Had a chance right at the goal in stoppage time.
- 29:48Speaker 3: He sailed it over the bar. If he makes it,
- 29:51Speaker 3: you win.
- 29:52Speaker 4: We owe him. We're gonna win.
- 29:54Speaker 5: Three Nil's right, we get to sweet sixteen. I say,
- 29:59Speaker 5: neil three nail? Oh yeah, oh wow, what that's not enough?
- 30:05Speaker 5: That's great, sounds fantastic. We'll take that. Well, yeah, we
- 30:10Speaker 5: got flow. And they've already shown their true colors. They've
- 30:15Speaker 5: already shown a week they are and how coward how
- 30:18Speaker 5: they are. So the US did prepare for like three
- 30:20Speaker 5: and a half days for something else without him.
- 30:25Speaker 4: How But it's soccer. How complicated can it be? There's
- 30:30Speaker 4: tactics to soccer?
- 30:31Speaker 5: No I want did you say game last night? Yeah,
- 30:33Speaker 5: there were any tactics. They just kicked it out to
- 30:35Speaker 5: the side and they just they it up there.
- 30:37Speaker 3: That's because Mexico allowed England only having ten men to
- 30:41Speaker 3: affect their strategy and they're like, we'll just keep sending
- 30:43Speaker 3: into the box.
- 30:44Speaker 4: We got numbers.
- 30:45Speaker 3: But what they don't know is like England is really
- 30:47Speaker 3: good at defending the box than them, and they just
- 30:50Speaker 3: dropped obviously a player back and then just had a
- 30:54Speaker 3: you know, one striker.
- 30:56Speaker 4: Yep.
- 30:57Speaker 5: Yeah, they were everywhere. Mexico was like playing against It
- 31:01Speaker 5: felt like fifteen defenders, a.
- 31:03Speaker 3: Lot of Harrycanes, your favorite Harry. We do maybe have
- 31:08Speaker 3: to play that interview. Lost his voice? Yeah in the chat.
- 31:15Speaker 3: Yeah three nothing, you heard it, America wins. Let me clarify. Yeah,
- 31:22Speaker 3: you need to clarify that. All right, we will step away.
- 31:25Speaker 3: We've got much more OTB coming right back your ways.
- 31:28Speaker 3: Stay locked in here OTB, Raisin Kanes Studio, right.
- 31:33Speaker 1: Back off the bench.
- 31:45Speaker 5: All right, welcome back in OTB here live from the
- 31:49Speaker 5: Raisin Kanes Studio. Of course, our Monday shows again brought
- 31:52Speaker 5: to you by our friends over buy you Automotive, Buy
- 31:54Speaker 5: you Automotive dot Com.
- 31:55Speaker 4: Check it out today, uh Tata.
- 32:00Speaker 3: Since Elandra's not here and the Londra is usually our
- 32:03Speaker 3: go to for any baseball updates, going to throw the
- 32:06Speaker 3: ball to you. LSU Baseball get some good news over
- 32:11Speaker 3: the weekend.
- 32:11Speaker 2: Yeah, great news. They land Oregon right field transfer Angel Layah.
- 32:16Speaker 2: He hit two ninety six last year, fourteen homers, ten
- 32:20Speaker 2: doubles on ops on the season of nine thirty four.
- 32:23Speaker 2: He stole four bases as well. Another great thing about
- 32:27Speaker 2: this edition is it gives you another lefty bat in
- 32:30Speaker 2: the lineup that you kind of needed up to this point. Sure,
- 32:33Speaker 2: Steven Mylin's a switch hitter, but you need some power
- 32:35Speaker 2: from the left side. I think he gives you that.
- 32:38Speaker 2: He's a guy that could come in and he looks
- 32:41Speaker 2: ready to play day one. You look at this lineup
- 32:44Speaker 2: now potentially what it's going to look like next year,
- 32:47Speaker 2: and it looks really good. Like right field, you were thinking, Okay,
- 32:51Speaker 2: if William Patrick could take that next step, maybe he's
- 32:53Speaker 2: your guy. Patrick's gonna struggle to get on the field
- 32:55Speaker 2: now with this, so like your lineup could potentially be
- 32:59Speaker 2: in the infield Mason Brawn, Kid Kurlin, Stephen Mylam, Dawson
- 33:03Speaker 2: Park and then in the outfield Angel Layah, Bino Waters
- 33:07Speaker 2: and Jason Waks the two lane transfer. That is a
- 33:10Speaker 2: dangerous lineup. There's a lot of power there. You can
- 33:13Speaker 2: do a lot of different things. One through nine. I
- 33:16Speaker 2: think this is awesome. Again. My only concern is what
- 33:19Speaker 2: it's going to look like starting pitching wise. I would
- 33:22Speaker 2: have loved for you two have went and got a
- 33:24Speaker 2: bona fide starter in the portal. Maybe Jay didn't think
- 33:27Speaker 2: there was one. Regardless of that, they haven't. No, maybe
- 33:31Speaker 2: a Hood or a Kidden Smith steps up and becomes
- 33:35Speaker 2: that guy. But on paper right now you don't have it.
- 33:38Speaker 2: But one through nine in that batting lineup looks really
- 33:40Speaker 2: really good.
- 33:41Speaker 4: No, it does.
- 33:42Speaker 3: And Hunt's got a great right up on louisiansports dot Net,
- 33:46Speaker 3: kind of a projected lineup, so you can certainly take
- 33:49Speaker 3: a look at that. And as Hunt points out, everybody
- 33:51Speaker 3: one through nine has ten home run plus power, which
- 33:55Speaker 3: is going to be exciting to watch in the box.
- 33:57Speaker 3: And you mentioned the rotation and that's gonna be something
- 34:01Speaker 3: that a lot of people talk about leading into the season.
- 34:04Speaker 4: Hell, talk about it now.
- 34:05Speaker 3: It's in July, right and you hadn't even started any
- 34:08Speaker 3: kind of fall ball yet. I mean, people are still
- 34:10Speaker 3: in the Cape cod right now, and you're talking about
- 34:11Speaker 3: it because a lot of people thought maybe you'd add
- 34:14Speaker 3: a top tier arm.
- 34:16Speaker 4: But this is Jay Johnson.
- 34:17Speaker 3: At least KJA feels like it's saying, Hey, this is
- 34:20Speaker 3: we know our three guys, right, We're gonna get more
- 34:22Speaker 3: back from injury. We believe in Cason Evans, we believe
- 34:25Speaker 3: in Schmid. That's gonna be our three guys, and they
- 34:27Speaker 3: wouldn't got some guys that have had starting experience if
- 34:30Speaker 3: they needed to make a change or if they need
- 34:32Speaker 3: a spot start. But this is Jay Johnson and his
- 34:35Speaker 3: staff telling you those are our three guys we rolled
- 34:37Speaker 3: with last year. We're gonna roll it back with him
- 34:39Speaker 3: again this year.
- 34:40Speaker 2: Yeah. Absolutely. And you mentioned you have some guys that
- 34:43Speaker 2: you brought in that are big time pitchers, like Landon
- 34:45Speaker 2: Hood didn't start at Gonzaga, but there were twice last
- 34:50Speaker 2: year where he threw over one hundred pitches in relief,
- 34:53Speaker 2: so he knows how to extend and case and chud flashes.
- 34:56Speaker 2: Cooper Moore was really, really steady. We only saw him
- 34:59Speaker 2: too as weekends before his injury. Think about the JOHNP.
- 35:03Speaker 2: William Schmidt wade from year one to year two. If
- 35:05Speaker 2: he could do that again, Yeah, I mean you could say, oh,
- 35:08Speaker 2: they're running it back with the same pitching staff that
- 35:10Speaker 2: was inconsistent. Sure, but what happens if they take that
- 35:12Speaker 2: step forward, then you're looking really good.
- 35:15Speaker 5: You're gonna need them too. You certain, if you're gonna
- 35:17Speaker 5: make a run, doesn't matter how good your lineup is,
- 35:19Speaker 5: You're going to need them to step up. And I
- 35:21Speaker 5: think this is all kind of saying Jay Johnson saying,
- 35:24Speaker 5: I like what we have here better than what we
- 35:28Speaker 5: was available in the portal, And everything that I read
- 35:30Speaker 5: or heard was that this wasn't a very deep portal
- 35:33Speaker 5: for the high caliber eates. So certainly his staff showed flashes.
- 35:39Speaker 5: But they're gonna need to be a lot better, of course,
- 35:41Speaker 5: next year than they were this year. Yet this year
- 35:43Speaker 5: it was good at times, but certainly wasn't close to
- 35:47Speaker 5: good enough. Too many walks, too many free bases leading
- 35:50Speaker 5: to big, big innings here and there. So certainly they
- 35:54Speaker 5: got the talent. We've seen it. We saw with Kazon
- 35:58Speaker 5: like he's got it. He just has to show it
- 36:00Speaker 5: when his command is on heeds.
- 36:02Speaker 3: Certainly, I mean he went out and shut down the
- 36:05Speaker 3: eventual national champion team in Oklahoma.
- 36:08Speaker 4: Like we know he can do it. It's like consistently
- 36:11Speaker 4: doing it.
- 36:11Speaker 3: And then it raises the question because he's been such
- 36:14Speaker 3: a good reliever, stopper or whatever you want to call it,
- 36:16Speaker 3: because I mean he would come in sometimes in the
- 36:19Speaker 3: fifth and he would just go all the way to
- 36:20Speaker 3: the very end of the game. We know he can
- 36:23Speaker 3: do that right, But it's finding that consistency when he
- 36:25Speaker 3: gets the ball to start the game and you've seen
- 36:28Speaker 3: enough to know it's in there. Again, he went down
- 36:30Speaker 3: and shut down to the national champion Oklahoma. It's Jay
- 36:34Speaker 3: Johnson and staff believing he can do that more times
- 36:37Speaker 3: than not.
- 36:37Speaker 4: Like they have that belief that he can do it.
- 36:39Speaker 3: Then William Schmidt, who he had a much better sophomore
- 36:43Speaker 3: season they did freshman year.
- 36:44Speaker 4: That's the obvious thing.
- 36:46Speaker 3: But still like it's control, it's command with all of
- 36:48Speaker 3: these guys, certainly with Evans and Schmid. It's like if
- 36:51Speaker 3: they can find that if they can command the mound
- 36:55Speaker 3: with the stuff that they have and right, wrong or indifferent.
- 36:58Speaker 4: It might be right, it might be wrong. We don't know.
- 37:01Speaker 5: But the staff is telling you they believe, like you
- 37:03Speaker 5: said that they looked at the portal, they saw what
- 37:06Speaker 5: was available, and they're saying, our three guys are better
- 37:08Speaker 5: than anybody that we saw in the portal. Yeah, our
- 37:11Speaker 5: three guys are young, they're talented, and that's maybe they
- 37:15Speaker 5: wanted to find something better in the portal. It just
- 37:17Speaker 5: wasn't available. So we are here right now. We know
- 37:21Speaker 5: Jay can recruit and get whoever he wants. He's got
- 37:23Speaker 5: two rings he can flash in front of him. He
- 37:25Speaker 5: had a month on all the top the top guys
- 37:28Speaker 5: in the World Series. He had a month head start
- 37:29Speaker 5: on everybody. He's got the resources to go out there.
- 37:33Speaker 5: He can get the people that he wants to get
- 37:36Speaker 5: at a very high percentage. He just, you know, like
- 37:41Speaker 5: we said, he's comparing his guys on his roster to
- 37:44Speaker 5: what they're seeing in the portal. And you know what
- 37:46Speaker 5: it shows a guy like me who doesn't know a
- 37:48Speaker 5: whole heck of a lot about baseball, is like he
- 37:50Speaker 5: likes his guys better.
- 37:51Speaker 3: Well, I mean, if we're telling light ninety four to
- 37:55Speaker 3: ninety six Texas Ranger trivia night, Yep, you're my number
- 37:59Speaker 3: one pick.
- 38:00Speaker 4: I'm here, you're on my phone of friend.
- 38:02Speaker 5: Yep, you're my guys who led the Texas Rangers in
- 38:06Speaker 5: nineteen ninety five and RBI I'm calling you. I could
- 38:10Speaker 5: have been probably one, is alles? I probably one. I
- 38:14Speaker 5: mean I probably just good Rusty Greer underrated act more second,
- 38:18Speaker 5: you kid me, that's a little bit later, But good lord,
- 38:21Speaker 5: I had not heard Rusty Greer a good catch on
- 38:25Speaker 5: that kiddie Rodgers perfect game playing right field. I am
- 38:31Speaker 5: just because you know how our brain works. And if
- 38:33Speaker 5: I don't do it, then we'll talk about the rest
- 38:36Speaker 5: of the show. I'm gonna look and see who actually
- 38:38Speaker 5: led them in RBIs in nineteen ninety five. Uh oh,
- 38:43Speaker 5: Wine Gonzalez was second.
- 38:45Speaker 4: Think that much. The guy who actually lives here locally
- 38:52Speaker 4: will the thrill clore? All right, there we go. In
- 38:55Speaker 4: ninety two, good year. Yeah, uh one, gains Us had
- 39:00Speaker 4: eighty two.
- 39:02Speaker 5: Mickey Tettleton shout out, hadn't said that name in a
- 39:04Speaker 5: long time, had seventy eight.
- 39:06Speaker 4: Rusty only had sixty one. He's fifth on the team
- 39:09Speaker 4: though the situation, Uh, Pudge not enough. I don't see Pudge.
- 39:18Speaker 5: Maybe you'd already moved on by that point, I think, so,
- 39:21Speaker 5: I don't know, don't see him on this like youreserve
- 39:24Speaker 5: my whole childhood looking at nineteen ninety five Texas Ranger stats.

- 40:42Speaker 6: M Hordon Henderson Jeordan Henderson angling hurts himself and over
- 40:50Speaker 6: the advertisement board looked like he was even trying to
- 40:53Speaker 6: land on his feet.
- 40:54Speaker 3: He was celebrating and then his arms slipped, like you
- 40:57Speaker 3: put it on the board and it had rained that
- 40:59Speaker 3: night and it just goes off.
- 41:00Speaker 4: I think you, I think he really hurt his arm.
- 41:02Speaker 4: Does he play for them? Ah, he's on the team. Okay,
- 41:06Speaker 4: he's on the team. I mean he once was not
- 41:08Speaker 4: a big blood. No, no, he's he's old. So people
- 41:11Speaker 4: know this guy's name. Oh he's been there.
- 41:13Speaker 5: Yeah, Jordan Heerson's a little long in the tooth for
- 41:16Speaker 5: soccer age, if you will, But yeah, he's tooth.
- 41:19Speaker 4: Joke about an England dude.
- 41:20Speaker 3: Oh yeah, he didn't mean to it all, but yeah,
- 41:23Speaker 3: because they got bad teeth. It was pretty funny. Not
- 41:27Speaker 3: funny that he got hurt, but like to see a
- 41:29Speaker 3: world class athlete, how you get hurt.
- 41:32Speaker 5: Yeah, it's kind of like a football player getting hurt,
- 41:36Speaker 5: you know, celebrate the touchdown. He played for Liverpool for
- 41:39Speaker 5: a long time, so I'm trying not to say anything
- 41:41Speaker 5: completely rude about him.
- 41:43Speaker 4: But nobody knows what that means. Bud.
- 41:46Speaker 3: I'm an Everton fan, I know, but nobody gets it.
- 41:49Speaker 5: They didn't know there's bad blood between Everton and Liverpool.
- 41:52Speaker 5: Everton and Liverpool are from here to the River Center,
- 41:57Speaker 5: away from each other, all right, neighbors. Hour two coming up.
