  and then you can learn stuff from the Holy Ghost, who is the spirit of wisdom and revelation.

  This is why religious people know the Bible, but they don't know anything about

  Paul didn't pray that the church would get more religion. He didn't pray that they'd get more money.

  He said, give them revelation.

  And it's basically a prayer. You're saying, God, he's like, I've been trying

  to find my way, but I don't have a clue.

  Tell me, should I stay here or do I need to move? Give me revelation.

  And he's basically saying, I've tried everything I know.

  I need you to reveal. What's reveal? It's uncovered. It's something discovered.

  And God hides stuff in the spirit. I don't know if you know this or not,

  but he hides stuff and he doesn't hide it from you. He hides it for you.

  And there are things that you and I will only get in the spirit pressing in.

  And here's the thing, all the stuff that we worry about, it chokes the spirit of God.

  As the Bible says, the cares of this world choke the word. So when you're worried

  about your bill, and look, please understand me. I know these are big worries.

  I'm not telling you to just be like, oh, who cares? I'm telling you to have

  a trust in your heart that God is not going to let you starve.

  Okay. So here we go. That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ would give you the

  All right. Paul didn't pray that the church would get different things.

  So you can have truth right in front of you and still not see it.

  the Holy Ghost and speak in tongues, but I was taught and saw it in the Bible

  Paul's prayer wasn't for information. It was for illumination.

  Ephesians 117, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory,

  would give to you, say to me, point your finger at yourself.

  And this is what I do with this prayer. I pray this prayer and I put my name

  in it. So I pray it like this, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ would give

  me the spirit of wisdom and revelation knowledge.

  And if I'm praying it for Chad or Matilda, I say the God of the Lord Jesus Christ

  would give Chad the spirit of wisdom and revelation and the knowledge of him.

  This is the best prayer to pray for anybody that you know.

  It's the best prayer to pray for your husband, your wife, your girlfriends, me.

  You know, if you don't know what to pray for me, pray that. Oh God,

  please give Lisa or Pastor Lisa, whatever you call me, please give her the spirit

  of wisdom and revelation.

  And the Greek word for wisdom is Sophia.

  It means wisdom, insight, understanding, divine intelligence,

  the, the ability to see something as God sees.

  Come on. How many of you know that what you see and what God sees are totally

  different because the Bible says that God sees the beginning to the end,

  the first and the last, you just see your mess. You just see your stopping point.

  But, but God sees beyond that.

  Thank you, mom. So God sees beyond that. And what this is, it's not human wisdom.

  You can be smart. There are a lot of book smart people and they're dumb as a

  box of rocks when it comes to the spirit of God.

  There are a lot of people that know the Bible around me 10 times over,

  but they have never had a miracle because they don't have a revelation of a healing God.

  They've got a revelation of a God in the Bible. They know the words on the script,

  but they don't know the spirit behind it.

  So it means wisdom and insight. This is not just human wisdom.

  It's not just common sense. This is heaven's perspective coming into your heart.

  Human wisdom says it's impossible, but God says with all things,

  all things are possible. I just preached that to you last night.

  Revelation, the Greek word for revelation is apocalypsis. Isn't that weird? That's a weird word.

  It means, listen to this, unveiling, uncovering of something hidden being revealed. Isn't that good?

  The word revelation is there's something hidden and you're asking God to show
• 12:44
  it to you. God, give me revelation.

  But Paul prayed this for you. This is what he prayed for the church.

  God, give them a revelation of who they are, basically. He said, give them a revelation.

  Why is that? Because Paul the apostle understood you already have everything,

  but you just don't know it.

  You have everything you need, but you don't know it yet. And there's a place

  where you can tap in and press into the spirit of God, where you're gonna see

  things your friends aren't gonna see.

  You're gonna see things your husband won't see. You'll see things your wife won't see.

  You'll see things your friends don't see because God is individual and he tells

  you things. He tells Matilda stuff he doesn't tell me. He tells me stuff he doesn't tell Matilda.

  It comes from the word apocalypse, but in the Bible, revelation means the veil is pulled back.

  Paul was praying, God, pull back the curtain.

  Let them see what they could not see before.

  Revelation is when the Bible stops being just words on a page and becomes like fire in your spirit.

  I know it now. I see it now. God, I see it now.

  Revelation is when you say, I've heard that verse before, but now I see it.

  Revelation isn't new truth. It's old truth becoming alive. We used to say it's

  a rhema word, a living word.

  You know, the Bible said that this book is the book of life.

  Does it not say that? It said the words of God, they are life to those who find it and health to them.

  What does it mean that the Bible's life? It comes alive.

  The Bible says in the beginning was the word. The word was God.

  The word dwelt among us and became flesh.

  So if the word, if this Bible, if this is God, then you know that God is never ending.

  God is ever increasing. You'll never know the limit of God. There's so much

  wisdom and knowledge in God.

  And you know, I've heard people say, I don't know what else to pray.

  Are you out of your mind? What do you mean you don't know what else to pray?

  Ask God to show you stuff in heaven.

  God, show me the riches of heaven. Show me miracles I've never seen.

  God, use me in ways that nobody's ever been used before.

  God, help me to crawl up out of this pit of the natural and show me stuff that

  I don't even know how to find.

  But God, you know where it is. And I'm coming to you as your daughter.

  I'm coming to you in an intimate.

  God, I'm coming to you because I love you. You're my father. I'm your daughter.

  Open up the mysteries of heaven. God, prosper me in such a way that it blows people's minds.

  Help me, God, to build a big complex for you where kids can get radically saved.

  One of the greatest things we can do as Christians is grab the kids.

  If you can help a child, you know, grownups are stubborn. Y'all think you know

  everything. I know it. I already know it. You can't tell grownups half nothing.

  But a little kid, you could teach them about Jesus and they can be believing,

  and then the devil doesn't have to go get them.

  So just start praying. Knowledge. Paul said, in the knowledge of him.

  The Greek word for knowledge is epignosis.

  It means precise. Listen to this.

  Personal, experiential knowledge.

  So when Paul says knowledge, he's not just talking about, he's talking about

  knowledge for you, something personal for you.

  It's like I said, you know, I mean, I'm sure this has existed forever,

  but I never thought in my whole life ever of not having Matilda launch out on her own.

  And all of a sudden, it was like the Lord dropped in my spirit.

  Jewish people don't do that. I'm like, what are you even talking about?

  Jewish people don't throw their kids to the street to go. Jewish people don't

  let their young 18-year-old daughters run off and go to college by themselves

  in some dorm where they can have sex with five guys. It just doesn't happen that way.

  I think if they do go, they go with a bunch of other girls and they're highly protected.

  They just don't do that because they're smart because they know if your young

  daughter goes out there, some idiot's going to try to grab her.

  And the same for their boys. So their kids stay with them and they collect money.

  I mean, that's why they have so much money.

  They're not, you know, there's an old thing, Jerry Seinfeld,

  when he was becoming an actor and he had an actor friend and the actor friend's

  like, how do you afford to even live here?

  You know, these apartments in LA are so expensive. And Jerry Seinfeld looked

  at him and he said, I own a complex. He's like, you own a complex.

  And he looked right in his eye and he said, Jews don't rent.

  How do Jewish people know more than we do? Because they know who their God is.

  And so they have a revelation. And the reason they can do this stuff is for

  generation after generation.

  They don't let their kids go spend $800, $900, $1,000 on crappy,

  janky apartments instead of buying a house.

  So what they do is they keep their kids with them. They save all that money.

  Like I know for me, I don't know how much you spend, but I probably spent 20,

  30 grand in stupid apartments over the years. That's dumb.

  But I could have saved that 20, 30, could have went into a house.

  Then eventually over a few generations, a house is totally paid for.

  Then you can have a house. You can give your kids a house. That's how they become rich.

  Well, I didn't know that. God dropped that in my spirit. He's been dropping

  a lot of stuff in my spirit. I'll tell you something he dropped in my spirit last night.

  While I was marching around the church and I was looking at how impossible our

  situation is, and I was starting to feel like that frustration,
• 17:39
  you know, the frustration you feel when something's impossible.

  And I felt like the Lord said, Lisa, see, because you think you,

  not just me, you think you're trying to pry God into doing something.

  Come on, God, don't you know we need, come on, God.

  But I felt like the Lord was saying, Lisa, did you ever stop to think that maybe

  I need something done in the earth and I knew I could trust you with it?

  I knew you wouldn't quit.

  I've never thought of it from that perspective. So if you're going through a

  hard trial, you should be thankful that God trusts you with the hard trial.

  I'm not talking about sickness. Sickness has to go.

  I'm not talking about if it's a crushing, if it's a financial thing.

  He knows you're going to come out of it. He trusts you. He believes in you.

  I never thought about it that way.

  He wants to get things done in the earth. He knows there's an adversary,

  and he knows I'm not going to buckle under the pressure.

  Instead of, don't you see, and this is so hard, and I don't know.

  Instead of that, it's, all right, God, let's do it together.

  You're with me. I'm with you. Let's get it done.

  It's a whole different perspective, but I never thought that.

  I never had that thought my whole life. Wisdom, revelation, revelation.

  So precise, personal. The word knowledge is personal.

  There's a difference between knowing about healing and knowing Him as healer.

  There's a difference between knowing about provision and knowing God the provider.

  Paul wasn't praying, Lord, let them know you deeply. When he said,

  now here's another prayer in

  Ephesians 1, 18, that the eyes of your understanding would be enlightened.

  The enlightened word is photizio. It means to give light, to illuminate,

  to make visible. So he's saying it's been there all along.

  It's there. Your answer is right there. It's been there all along, but boom, the light.

  It's like if you go in a dark room, like if you come in my room right now,

  this studio room, and it's dark, right? I might trip over the chair.

  It's right there. But when I turn on the light, I can see the chair is there.

  But the chair was there all along.

  That's illumination. That's what you're asking for. It's right there.

  I know my promise is there, but I can't see it. God helped me to see it.

  God enlightened me. It means illuminate. He's saying, turn the lights on inside of them.

  Because when the lights come on, fear is gone. Confusion breaks.

  Your breakthrough comes. You don't need to beg God. You're already victorious.

  So Paul wanted them to know in Ephesians 1.18 that you have a hope.

  You're not random. You're not an accident. You're not just surviving,

  that you're called. You got a divine purpose in life.

  The enemy wants you confused and miscombobulated, but you don't want to be confused

  because a confused person doesn't move forward.

  And that's the bad. That's that right there.

  The crushing comes, the challenge comes so that you can go like this.

  God, I know you're with me. Are you with me? God, are you going to do it?

  And then he said the riches of the inheritance. What is the riches of the glory

  peace inheritance. I got an authority inheritance, a healing inheritance.

  I got an access to my father in heaven.

  The Holy Spirit is my inheritance. I've got an inheritance.

  The tragedy is not that the church has nothing.

  The tragedy is that many believers, you don't even know what you have.

  I don't know it, you don't know it. So we need to ask God.

  Exceeding greatness. What is the exceeding greatness of his power?

  The Greek word for power is dynamis.

  It's miracle working strength, supernatural power, like dynamite.

  Ephesians 1.20, which you wrought in Christ when you raised him from the dead.

  The same power that raised Christ from the dead is working in you.

  Not a weak power, not a religious power, symbolic. All right?

  There's another prayer and I wanna cover it, but it's too much now.

  So that's all I wanna do. So you need to rewind and go through this again so

  that you can get this prayer down. but this prayer will change your life. It'll change your life.

  You just pray it. You pray it with your name in it. Father, I thank you for

  wisdom and revelation, knowledge.

  God, I thank you that you will open up the eyes of my understanding.

  It says that the God of the Lord Jesus Christ would give you the spirit of wisdom

  and revelation, the knowledge of him, the eyes of your understanding would be enlightened.

  You'd know what is the hope of his calling.

  Come on, you pray that and watch God turn on the light for you.
