- 0:04Speaker 1: Well, come into Northside Territory presented by Fox One Foul
- 0:08Speaker 1: Territory Networks. Cubs Podcast. I'm Sahadev Sharma with my partner
- 0:11Speaker 1: Patrick Mooney. We are your Cubs beat writers over at
- 0:15Speaker 1: the Athletic Patrick. The Cubs lived to play another day,
- 0:20Speaker 1: another game at Wrigley. The fans get one more game.
- 0:24Speaker 1: At least, we'll see what happens. But it was a
- 0:29Speaker 1: nail bier. Yet again. I feel like every win for
- 0:33Speaker 1: them has been a nail bier this postseason. There's there
- 0:37Speaker 1: have been no easy victories. The first two losses to
- 0:41Speaker 1: the Brewers. Obviously the Brewers had some ease there, but
- 0:45Speaker 1: this one was not easy. I think Craig Council said
- 0:51Speaker 1: after the game, jameson Tyne gave him what he needed.
- 0:55Speaker 1: That was a minimum amount he needed. He's like, I
- 0:57Speaker 1: just just needed twelve outs. Kind of the way that
- 1:00Speaker 1: fourth inning went. He thought going into it, maybe I
- 1:03Speaker 1: can get a fifth out of him. It did not
- 1:05Speaker 1: go that way. They scored another run and then it
- 1:10Speaker 1: lined up to the bullpen as needed, and you know
- 1:16Speaker 1: they have these five arms that they're going to lean
- 1:19Speaker 1: on and wins. And the guys did enough. I think
- 1:23Speaker 1: the only mistake was Jake Bauer's home run off Andrew Kittridge.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Certainly tense moments. I think the Brewers had their opportunities.
- 1:32Speaker 1: I think you could say that about the Cubs to
- 1:34Speaker 1: try and pad the lead. They had a couple opportunities.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Neither team came up with the clutch hit except for
- 1:39Speaker 1: one big one, and that it all kind of happened
- 1:42Speaker 1: in the first inning.
- 1:44Speaker 2: And that first inning two had a only in Wrigley's
- 1:47Speaker 2: sort of moment there that miss missed pop up an
- 1:52Speaker 2: infield fly rule that was not applied in this particular case,
- 1:58Speaker 2: and with good reason. I thought ty One showed a
- 2:04Speaker 2: lot to not let that inning spiral out of control.
- 2:08Speaker 2: And that's really kind of who he is, right of
- 2:13Speaker 2: just an extremely dependable, reliable person and pitcher, extremely consistent,
- 2:22Speaker 2: and to keep it at that and to minimize the
- 2:25Speaker 2: damage was huge because otherwise, I mean, our stories would
- 2:32Speaker 2: have been written of you know, of like I think
- 2:34Speaker 2: our buddy Paul Sullivan dropped a cubby occurrence on the
- 2:39Speaker 2: situation in his story for this morning, and that's kind
- 2:43Speaker 2: of what it felt like, Oh, oh, here we go.
- 2:45Speaker 2: And for him to stabilize that moment and then also
- 2:48Speaker 2: like they needed a credible starting pitching performance, Like I
- 2:53Speaker 2: get it, bullpens are more important here and there's more
- 2:55Speaker 2: off days you can push guys. But they rode those
- 2:58Speaker 2: relievers really hard to win a wild card round, and
- 3:03Speaker 2: just what Boyd and Shoda gave them was nowhere close
- 3:07Speaker 2: to enough so for to organize the game that way
- 3:13Speaker 2: was big And we'll get into later can they do
- 3:17Speaker 2: it again, how they piece it together? But at least
- 3:20Speaker 2: the fans that really get get one more night of
- 3:21Speaker 2: playoff baseball, and that should never be taken for granted.
- 3:25Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, speaking of taken for granted, we probably
- 3:29Speaker 1: all take Jameison ty Own for granted. I don't. And look,
- 3:33Speaker 1: he I don't believe he's this elite pitcher. He doesn't
- 3:37Speaker 1: get enough swing and miss, he doesn't you know, he
- 3:42Speaker 1: doesn't get the you know, All Star Games. He's not
- 3:46Speaker 1: going to get cy Young votes. That's that's kind of
- 3:49Speaker 1: who he is. But he's very stable. He's you know,
- 3:53Speaker 1: I think back to last deadline twenty twenty four and
- 3:57Speaker 1: people kind of assume, like, why don't trade this guy,
- 4:01Speaker 1: and the way it was so flippantly thrown about, like
- 4:05Speaker 1: you just trade him at max value and then the
- 4:08Speaker 1: same thought, they're thinking they can compete in twenty twenty
- 4:11Speaker 1: five pitching. Like I think sometimes people just don't realize
- 4:15Speaker 1: how hard it is to find competent pitching you need.
- 4:19Speaker 1: There's all types of different pitching. There's the pitching you
- 4:23Speaker 1: use to get through one sixty two in the pitching
- 4:25Speaker 1: you use to win in the playoffs. And Jameson Town
- 4:29Speaker 1: isn't the perfect type of postseason pitcher because he doesn't
- 4:32Speaker 1: rack up strikeouts, and I think you want guys that
- 4:35Speaker 1: miss bats, particularly in the playoffs. But there's something about
- 4:41Speaker 1: him that he can overcome that. Like you said, that
- 4:44Speaker 1: first inning probably would have spiraled out of control with
- 4:47Speaker 1: a lot of other pitchers, not Jameson Tywn. He you know,
- 4:53Speaker 1: he probably could have gone deeper in a normal game.
- 4:56Speaker 1: Obviously this is not a normal game. And the relievers,
- 5:02Speaker 1: it's almost like you can tell it's they're not in
- 5:04Speaker 1: perfect form right now, but they're doing what they need
- 5:07Speaker 1: to do. I think a lot of this, in my opinion,
- 5:12Speaker 1: falls back on the offense. Look, that was a huge
- 5:15Speaker 1: hit by Pete koraram Strong in the first inning. It
- 5:19Speaker 1: felt like it was about we talked to Craig Council
- 5:24Speaker 1: about momentum and after the second game, the momentum of that,
- 5:30Speaker 1: the Andrew Vaughn home run, the three run homer comes
- 5:33Speaker 1: have the momentum, and I think there is momentum in
- 5:35Speaker 1: a game. I think it's really tough to carry that
- 5:39Speaker 1: over in baseball to the next game, just because pitching
- 5:41Speaker 1: is so incredibly important in baseball and it all kind
- 5:44Speaker 1: of shifts. But they don't get that hit from Pete
- 5:49Speaker 1: korarm Strong and they only score one run in an
- 5:52Speaker 1: inning where they were knocking Quinn Priester around. It's like
- 5:56Speaker 1: the opposite of what happened in Game one. You know,
- 6:00Speaker 1: if if Nico Horner makes that play that you know
- 6:04Speaker 1: he everyone knows he should have, maybe it's a different
- 6:08Speaker 1: feeling in a different game. If if Peko Armstrong strikes
- 6:12Speaker 1: out instead of blinding a single to score two, maybe
- 6:15Speaker 1: it's a different game. And it's just such a big
- 6:17Speaker 1: Like that was a moment when when Carson Kelly struck out,
- 6:20Speaker 1: I was like, this, this is bad, Like you cannot
- 6:23Speaker 1: miss this opportunity. They're going to like this is how
- 6:26Speaker 1: they like this is this is just not a good
- 6:28Speaker 1: situation for them because you can't miss those opportunities. And
- 6:31Speaker 1: it's like it would be very deflating because Carson Kelly
- 6:35Speaker 1: missed a double by two inches, Saya Suzuki missed a
- 6:39Speaker 1: double because South Freylk made it a fighting catch. I
- 6:44Speaker 1: don't know how we made that catch. Like literally two
- 6:46Speaker 1: minutes later, the sun popped back out. It was like
- 6:48Speaker 1: hiding behind clouds and it would have been right in
- 6:50Speaker 1: his face, and I wonder how much that would have
- 6:53Speaker 1: impacted him. But still just I mean even I don't
- 6:56Speaker 1: care if there was no sun at that point in time.
- 6:58Speaker 1: That was an amazing catch. And just so many like
- 7:02Speaker 1: tiny moments, one thing shifts and everything feels different. But
- 7:07Speaker 1: right now, you know Dolphins did enough. They really could
- 7:10Speaker 1: have done more. And that's probably like where you point
- 7:14Speaker 1: to and say, like this is how, this is how
- 7:17Speaker 1: the team should be winning, because the pitching is kind
- 7:20Speaker 1: of like piece it together and they're not doing it
- 7:24Speaker 1: enough regularly to really put distance between them. But maybe
- 7:27Speaker 1: that's just playoff baseball. Find a way to win. It's
- 7:30Speaker 1: not supposed to be high scoring. Quick Console did say this,
- 7:33Speaker 1: He's like we're giving up too many runs. You know,
- 7:36Speaker 1: playoff baseball is supposed to be low scoring, so I
- 7:39Speaker 1: guess they did what needed to be done to win.
- 7:43Speaker 1: So it's probably wrong of me to nitpick too much there.
- 7:50Speaker 3: Your the one is supposed to be optimistic about.
- 7:51Speaker 1: The offense, I know, and they're not delivering, so they're
- 7:55Speaker 1: making me look bad.
- 7:56Speaker 3: That's true. That's true. I mean, I'll cover us.
- 8:01Speaker 2: I can't remember, honestly if you were there at this point,
- 8:03Speaker 2: so how if we were talking to a Cups person
- 8:05Speaker 2: and the field was pretty empty at this point. And
- 8:10Speaker 2: there were two sort of pre game takeaways. Of one,
- 8:15Speaker 2: the wind blowing in will be good for Jamison ty
- 8:17Speaker 2: own that he would be able to take advantage of that.
- 8:19Speaker 3: That proved true.
- 8:20Speaker 2: And the other point was they liked that matchup against
- 8:25Speaker 2: Quinn Priester, a sinkerballer on the mound, I could give
- 8:27Speaker 2: them a chance to force the action a bit, put
- 8:29Speaker 2: some pressure on him. Obviously not the same devastating swinging
- 8:35Speaker 2: miss stuff that the Brewers feature prominently a lot of
- 8:38Speaker 2: the time, and those things certainly played out. Credit to
- 8:42Speaker 2: the Cubs for showing up and pushing this to another game.
- 8:48Speaker 2: I think we can flip the show after the break
- 8:51Speaker 2: here and sort of look ahead and say, like did
- 8:53Speaker 2: they find something? Is this sustainable or is Milwaukee still
- 8:57Speaker 2: very much have the upper hand here?
- 8:59Speaker 1: Yeah, let's take quick break. October baseball is here, the

- 10:02Speaker 1: Welcome Back to Northside Territory presented by Fox one Patrick.
- 10:06Speaker 1: They have Game four tonight at Wrigley eight oh eight.
- 10:12Speaker 1: His first pitch, Thank you Phillies for for making it
- 10:16Speaker 1: so late for us. I'm sure as we record, Cubs
- 10:21Speaker 1: fans are stressing out and Craig Council is already thinking
- 10:27Speaker 1: through how do we get through this game? Pitching wise,
- 10:33Speaker 1: there hasn't been at this point in time, there hasn't
- 10:35Speaker 1: been an announcement of who's starting. I think it's Matthew
- 10:41Speaker 1: Boyd is going to factor into this game somehow, probably
- 10:45Speaker 1: getting this start. I would assume. I don't know if
- 10:48Speaker 1: they go with an opener for him, but yeah, it's
- 10:53Speaker 1: it's it's all in all likely. This is four days
- 10:55Speaker 1: rest for Matthew Boyd. I know nowadays managers and organizations
- 11:01Speaker 1: like to get more rest for their starters. They like
- 11:03Speaker 1: the five day rest, but this is what they're faced with,
- 11:08Speaker 1: and I think it's incredibly important that Matthew Boyd looks
- 11:14Speaker 1: like that. Maybe not the first half version, but certainly
- 11:19Speaker 1: not what we saw last start. At least the version
- 11:23Speaker 1: that we saw against the Padres is what Craig Council
- 11:27Speaker 1: is really hoping for.
- 11:30Speaker 2: Boyd Wednesday night was talking as if he's going to
- 11:34Speaker 2: pitch in Game four with you, I would assume that's
- 11:39Speaker 2: in a starting capacity, But at this point of the season,
- 11:43Speaker 2: after everything we've seen in these playoffs, I guess you never.
- 11:48Speaker 3: Know, right, But.
- 11:52Speaker 2: You were alluding to this earlier, like it's the playoffs,
- 11:55Speaker 2: so you don't get graded on style points. But how
- 12:02Speaker 2: they won Game three, I think, just and how they
- 12:06Speaker 2: didn't kind of just blow the Bruers away. I think
- 12:11Speaker 2: that is where you kind of it gets hard to see,
- 12:14Speaker 2: like how they win the next two. I think what
- 12:19Speaker 2: the Cub's been really good at this year just kind
- 12:21Speaker 2: of managing a series. Like there's not a team that
- 12:23Speaker 2: went on super long winning streaks. They're not a team
- 12:27Speaker 2: that would just go into other cities and sweep teams.
- 12:32Speaker 3: Left and right.
- 12:33Speaker 2: It was more of this kind of methodical, conservative, how
- 12:40Speaker 2: creative approach to piecing together the innings puzzle, as Craig
- 12:47Speaker 2: Council would say, deploying the outgetters in the right situations.
- 12:52Speaker 2: And no doubt it worked. But if Boyd is off,
- 12:59Speaker 2: if he's not are it could be a long night.
- 13:04Speaker 2: And that's just the point where you know, I've come
- 13:09Speaker 2: away from this series singing like you absolutely want that
- 13:12Speaker 2: first round by like I'm over the oh, Like is
- 13:15Speaker 2: it better to sort of like stay in rhythm or
- 13:18Speaker 2: experience the playoffs firsts?
- 13:20Speaker 3: Like, No, I think how the Brewers have have lined
- 13:23Speaker 3: this up here.
- 13:25Speaker 2: You're still in a really strong position. But that's why
- 13:28Speaker 2: you play the games.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Yeah, and the only the only way it may work
- 13:32Speaker 1: is if you have a deeper pitching staff. Yeah, and
- 13:37Speaker 1: it's just hard. Two huge injuries over the course of
- 13:41Speaker 1: the season to guys that obviously completely change the complexion
- 13:44Speaker 1: of a postseason pitching staff. And Justin Steele and Kate Horton,
- 13:49Speaker 1: I don't think we we have We've had a podcast
- 13:52Speaker 1: since Kate Horton spoke, but it sounds like there was
- 13:56Speaker 1: progress there. And then Craig council updated that he did
- 13:59Speaker 1: he felt fine after the bullpen session, and he's throwing
- 14:02Speaker 1: another one. Today's Thursday, correct, So you know he'll throw
- 14:06Speaker 1: another one Friday. I'm assuming that happens if they win.
- 14:10Speaker 1: I assume he's not going to be throwing a bullpen
- 14:13Speaker 1: if they lose. So he's not pitching in this series.
- 14:20Speaker 1: That's with the hopes of them advancing. Who knows what
- 14:24Speaker 1: kind of impact he can have. I do think it
- 14:28Speaker 1: completely changes the complexion of how you plan everything. It
- 14:32Speaker 1: just changes everything. And they're pitching is just so fragile
- 14:36Speaker 1: right now. These guys are exhausted. You kind of look
- 14:41Speaker 1: at what the Dodgers did in a sense, like they
- 14:43Speaker 1: had all these injury get related these injury I don't
- 14:47Speaker 1: want to call him injury prone, but guys that have
- 14:49Speaker 1: dealt with a lot of injuries in their careers and
- 14:51Speaker 1: their pitching staff, and it's just kind of like, Okay,
- 14:55Speaker 1: they're not pitching that much during the regular season, but
- 14:58Speaker 1: they're so good it doesn't really matter. And now you
- 15:01Speaker 1: just have a bunch of guys that you can choose from.
- 15:03Speaker 1: It's like, Okay, who's healthy. It's October, go out there
- 15:06Speaker 1: and dominate and they're kind of doing that so pretty.
- 15:10Speaker 1: You know, that's if you can pull that off, great.
- 15:13Speaker 1: Not everyone has that payroll that the Dodgers do to
- 15:16Speaker 1: be able to collect all these high risk, high reward arms.
- 15:21Speaker 1: The Cubs certainly could use more depth. You could make
- 15:24Speaker 1: all the complaints about the trade deadline that you want.
- 15:28Speaker 1: They don't this. This is what they're working with right now.
- 15:32Speaker 1: I will say this. The relievers, it felt like at
- 15:36Speaker 1: the time they were throwing more pitches. Nobody threw over
- 15:40Speaker 1: twenty pitches yesterday, and Council was saying after the game
- 15:45Speaker 1: that he's like, we should. He's like, obviously we need
- 15:48Speaker 1: to see how everyone comes in after throwing and all
- 15:50Speaker 1: that stuff. But it sounds like everyone's you know, he
- 15:54Speaker 1: in his mind, he's looking as everyone's available again in
- 15:56Speaker 1: game four. I can't imagine any of those guys unless
- 15:59Speaker 1: they're dealing with something real would say, I can't go
- 16:04Speaker 1: you know, like some of this stuff, Like I was
- 16:06Speaker 1: just looking at the pitches. Caleb Fielbar threw eleven like
- 16:10Speaker 1: he walked a guy and he's still through eleven pitches,
- 16:14Speaker 1: Like it's like Brad Keller through eighteen pitches. I think
- 16:19Speaker 1: because nineteen pitches and that's one on one third inning,
- 16:23Speaker 1: Like I did not. I think those moments were so
- 16:26Speaker 1: tense that I didn't realize, like how good of a
- 16:30Speaker 1: job they did limiting pitches. It's a good job by
- 16:33Speaker 1: the pitching staff, good job by Craig Council of like
- 16:35Speaker 1: not pushing Daniel Palencia too far or anything like that.
- 16:37Speaker 1: It seemed like it worked. He got the guys in
- 16:40Speaker 1: the pockets that he wanted. It didn't work out perfectly, obviously,
- 16:44Speaker 1: because they gave up some runs and there were some
- 16:46Speaker 1: stressful situations, but just because somehow they limited the amount
- 16:49Speaker 1: of pitches and these guys, you know, it's hard to
- 16:52Speaker 1: measure that, you know, there's a stressful situation Taxi guy
- 16:55Speaker 1: more than a one two three inning with nobody on base,
- 16:58Speaker 1: I don't know, but but certainly they're they're in better
- 17:02Speaker 1: shape than you would imagine, having used all those relievers.
- 17:07Speaker 1: And it's just kind of like we didn't even mention.
- 17:10Speaker 1: We don't know who's starting it for the Brewers either.
- 17:12Speaker 1: I'm assuming Pat Murphy's gonna go Freddy Peralta. My understanding
- 17:17Speaker 1: is that what that's what he's gonna do. So that's
- 17:22Speaker 1: the you know, if they win this game, suddenly the
- 17:25Speaker 1: momentums on the Cub side, or the confidence or the
- 17:27Speaker 1: pressure is on the Brewers, what however you want to
- 17:29Speaker 1: describe it. But it's it's just not going to be easy.
- 17:34Speaker 1: But you know, one more chance that baseball is weird
- 17:37Speaker 1: and we'll see what happens. That's pretty much how it
- 17:40Speaker 1: feels right now.
- 17:42Speaker 2: And talking to a Cub's official during the workout on
- 17:47Speaker 2: was that Tuesday. Honestly, all these days are blending together.
- 17:50Speaker 2: But the idea was, you know, approached of like someone's
- 17:54Speaker 2: gonna have to step up on the pitching side.
- 17:57Speaker 3: Like it might not be someone we're thinking of immediately.
- 18:02Speaker 2: Not asking this individual to cover six innings, but if
- 18:07Speaker 2: you have to cover eighteen innings over three days with
- 18:11Speaker 2: your pitching not in tatters, but you know you've expended
- 18:16Speaker 2: a lot of.
- 18:17Speaker 3: Resources pitching wise, to get to this point. So it's
- 18:21Speaker 3: you know, guys.
- 18:22Speaker 2: Stepping up on the pitching side because you see, like
- 18:26Speaker 2: the Brewers just don't give away at bats. I mean,
- 18:29Speaker 2: they were down for one early and they just kind
- 18:31Speaker 2: of kept chipping away at it and you know, one
- 18:35Speaker 2: big swing there at the end and we're having a
- 18:38Speaker 2: season wrap up podcast right now. You can go back
- 18:41Speaker 2: to that Padres game, and the Padres do not have
- 18:44Speaker 2: as you know, disciplined or as relentless a lineup as.
- 18:49Speaker 3: The Brewers do.
- 18:50Speaker 2: But that one, too, was not very comfortable for Cubs
- 18:54Speaker 2: people watching that ninth inning there like that was not
- 18:57Speaker 2: So those are kind of the margins you're dealing with here,
- 19:00Speaker 2: and circling back to what you said earlier, Yeah, the
- 19:04Speaker 2: the offense has to step up, whether it's Kyle Tucker,
- 19:08Speaker 2: whether it's Michael Bush, you know, continuing to do what
- 19:11Speaker 2: he's done, PCA kind of staying within himself and coming
- 19:16Speaker 2: up with a big hit. Ian happ Nico Horner, Dansy Swanson,
- 19:20Speaker 2: guys who've been around as part of this build, waiting
- 19:22Speaker 2: for this moment. Like they've half said it the other
- 19:26Speaker 2: night in Milwaukee. They've asked their pitchers to do a
- 19:30Speaker 2: lot this postseason. They've put a lot of pressure on them.
- 19:35Speaker 2: You know, field bar throwing eleven pitches. There isn't a
- 19:39Speaker 2: metric for it, but what are those eleven pitches feel like?
- 19:41Speaker 2: How draining are they compared to you know, a getaway
- 19:45Speaker 2: day in Cincinnati.
- 19:48Speaker 3: I don't know, but they could give themselves some breathing room.
- 19:52Speaker 1: Here.
- 19:54Speaker 2: You're coming home Wednesday night there, turning on the Phillies
- 19:59Speaker 2: Dodgers game, just to see what time we have to
- 20:01Speaker 2: go to work, and it's like, at that point, I
- 20:04Speaker 2: think the Phillis are up.
- 20:05Speaker 3: Like eight to one.
- 20:05Speaker 2: I was like, oh wow, Like that's what that can
- 20:08Speaker 2: happen to in the postseason. I think you have as
- 20:11Speaker 2: the fans at feel who are like hanging on every pitch. Uh,
- 20:15Speaker 2: you know, there is another kind of way out there
- 20:17Speaker 2: that your offense can can score runs. Like every pitching
- 20:21Speaker 2: decision doesn't have to be like life or death in
- 20:24Speaker 2: terms of your playoff viability that you know now can
- 20:31Speaker 2: always if you had a Kyle Schwarber, you know that helps.
- 20:34Speaker 2: But someone in this lineup can can deliver like they
- 20:40Speaker 2: they can kind of you knock the Brewers out here early,
- 20:46Speaker 2: and like the whole complexion of the game changes, it's
- 20:50Speaker 2: it's still it's still within their hands.
- 20:52Speaker 3: They still have a chance here. Yeah.
- 20:54Speaker 1: And I mean for those who just assume that Freddy
- 20:57Speaker 1: Peralta is unhittable, He's an awesome pitcher. He's one of
- 21:00Speaker 1: the best pitchers in baseball. The Cubs often do put
- 21:04Speaker 1: up pretty good you know, battles against him. He's dominated
- 21:09Speaker 1: them in the regular season, he's dominated them twice, and
- 21:13Speaker 1: they've hit him twice. In the postseason, obviously they he
- 21:18Speaker 1: he pretty much dominated them outside of that first at
- 21:21Speaker 1: bat and then uh, and we'll see what happens Thursday night,
- 21:26Speaker 1: assuming he's the starter. It's not I'm not saying that
- 21:30Speaker 1: these things work in a sense like, well, now they
- 21:33Speaker 1: they're due to hit them. It all depends like can
- 21:36Speaker 1: they grind out the ad bats and get to Freddy
- 21:38Speaker 1: peralta swing at the right pitches. It's it's you know,
- 21:41Speaker 1: it's all very simple stuff quote unquote, but it's there's
- 21:45Speaker 1: nothing too crazy going on. They're familiar with this guy.
- 21:48Speaker 1: They're they're not. He's not some you know, mythical creature
- 21:52Speaker 1: that can that that they just cannot hit.
- 21:55Speaker 3: Uh.
- 21:56Speaker 1: But it won't be easy, and I think I agree,
- 21:59Speaker 1: like what they they really need just like the pitching
- 22:02Speaker 1: to just hold you know, just hold the offense down,
- 22:06Speaker 1: hold the Brewers offense down, and they need a big hit.
- 22:09Speaker 1: Someone needs to slug with men on and and just
- 22:13Speaker 1: deliver a blow where it's you know, if the Cubs
- 22:16Speaker 1: are up two to one. Just make it five to
- 22:18Speaker 1: one and just like some guys can breathe a little
- 22:21Speaker 1: bit and maybe you know, if you can even extend
- 22:24Speaker 1: it more and not have to use all your high
- 22:26Speaker 1: leverage arms, because then it's again all hands on deck.
- 22:28Speaker 1: There's another game to still win. So that's that's the
- 22:31Speaker 1: big thing that everyone needs to keep in mind. The
- 22:34Speaker 1: Cubs can't be thinking like that they have to win
- 22:36Speaker 1: this game, but there's more, there's more wins to be had.
- 22:39Speaker 1: So however, you can save some arms that that would
- 22:43Speaker 1: be ideal. We'll see how they can do it. It's
- 22:45Speaker 1: gonna it'll be a fun one at least eight o'clock game.
- 22:49Speaker 1: I'm assuming people will be enjoying themselves in Wrigleyville. We'll see.
- 22:57Speaker 1: It's interesting.
- 22:58Speaker 3: Someone a lot a lot of work from home on Friday. Yeah, Brewers.
- 23:05Speaker 1: Someone working with the Brewers the other day for the
- 23:07Speaker 1: eight oh eight game in Milwaukee was saying, like, I
- 23:10Speaker 1: don't know what, like he's like, I think the I
- 23:12Speaker 1: think the early game it may be a little rowdier.
- 23:15Speaker 1: They may be tired, a little too drunk by eightha like,
- 23:19Speaker 1: these guys maybe out of it. Who knows how they're
- 23:22Speaker 1: behaving that the same can be said of the Cubs fans.
- 23:25Speaker 1: I don't know. Hopefully they have the energy and can
- 23:29Speaker 1: help will will the Cubs to a to a win
- 23:31Speaker 1: there for them at least an entertaining game. We'll see.
- 23:35Speaker 1: We'll see one more game at Wrigley at the very least.
- 23:37Speaker 1: So thanks for listening to everyone. This is Northside Territory
