Hospitals are filled with strangers, so when an older woman sits beside a worried daughter in a waiting room and offers a few comforting words, there seems to be nothing unusual about it.

Until her father describes the visitor who came to see him in his hospital room.

Same woman. Same pale sweater. Same reassuring message. Neither remembers seeing her arrive or leave, and hospital staff can’t explain who she was.
