- 1:34I want nothing to do with them at like on am sorry?
- 1:37Let me preface Monday before a holiday like the Fourth of July,
- 1:42like, it makes no sense. Sorry.
- 1:44But nobody's going to be wanting to use your business on a
- 1:47Monday. The day before Fourth of July,
- 1:49when everybody gets Tuesday off, everyone gets to zero.
- 1:52Nobody nobody cares. Nobody wants imagine.
- 1:55Could you imagine could Ausmus following on like a Wednesday
- 1:57and they're like, all right Tuesday, you got to come in.
- 2:00It's like that. It's Christmas Eve, bro.
- 2:03Like, you can absolutely not, sir.
- 2:05Absolutely. Honestly, I think we should.
- 2:07I think we should add the third of July as like another federal
- 2:10holiday like, just as a precursor like and the fact that
- 2:13you and the sixth and side of us, I think I think every day in
- 2:18the month of July should be celebrated as a Federal holiday.
- 2:21I don't think we should work at all.
- 2:22You know, we should do though, before we talk about not working

- 3:58about to start his own campaign. So if you want to listen into
- 4:00that, Yes. Feel free.
- 4:03Please I love. I love having an audience for
- 4:06rd&d sessions. I think it adds to a lot of the
- 4:09hilarity, especially when you you can see people on the
- 4:11cameras laughing. Well there's nothing like it
- 4:15when you know, there's something hilarious going on in game and
- 4:17we're trying to be serious and you know, people start cracking
- 4:20jokes in the campaign and you see people that are just
- 4:22watching and they have their cameras on and they just started
- 4:25laughing because they're like what kind of absurd thing are
- 4:27they about to get into right now?
- 4:28So yeah that's honestly a lot of fun.
- 4:30I think that more people should do that.
- 4:32Do you think is the cam show critical?
- 4:34I don't know. It's kind of small.
- 4:35I do. They ever got really big with it
- 4:37but yeah, those fucking I mean we're gonna blow them out of the
- 4:39water anytime now with our campaigns, but I know really
- 4:42welcoming mr. Who recorded no content?
- 4:45Right there's no clips. We are joking.
- 4:48A critical role is a huge influence on say yeah, I love
- 4:51critical role, Matt Mercer and the entire gang are phenomenal
- 4:55with what they do and huge influence.
- 4:57So if you want to hear us play D&D and really just riff the Her
- 5:02time. It's all really we do need to
- 5:05record it. We are going to I'm actually me
- 5:07and Evan were actually discussing on the phone the
- 5:10other day on how we're going to incorporate that content within
- 5:14the swan cam Network. I think we have a pretty good
- 5:17grasp on what we want to do because we are taking the Ade
- 5:21very fucking serious. We aren't we aren't, you know, I
- 5:25think it's the perfect mixture of.
- 5:26We can recognize the absurdity. But when we have to get serious
- 5:29and dramatic and all, that's not what I'm referring to him.
- 5:32Referring to a how much we want to play and how much we are
- 5:34playing. Oh yeah, we're pretty serious
- 5:36about that. I'd say yeah for sure.
- 5:38I've so already built my next character and now Brody, he's
- 5:41just waiting on ex-husband and his buddy.
- 5:46Yeah I said X host, Matt you don't listen to this, you don't
- 5:50listen to it, you don't know, you don't know, you know what
- 5:53else he doesn't know about. What next week's episode now he
- 6:00doesn't. He got no clue.
- 6:03Should we? We could tease that were allowed
- 6:05to I believe I think. Yeah, we are good enough.
- 6:07I mean you keep doing just the tip but with this so I don't
- 6:10know how I feel about you trying to next week's episode July 7th,
- 6:15that'll entice gross fucking. I feel like I feel like Roman
- 6:20Roy after he just heard a disgusting sexual remarks.
- 6:22He's like, oh, that's what I was going for and worked.
- 6:26Did so July, 7th, wasd, and Beyond proudly, welcome back,
- 6:32David Craddock to the show with Richard Moss, the writer and

- 7:38the, you know, the cool thing FPS harder.
- 7:40I don't think it's the last you'll hear of wasd talking to
- 7:43the FPS team. No, I don't think so.
- 7:45And I think that's a good thing for everybody including
- 7:47ourselves mostly ourselves. I think that's mostly results.
- 7:49Thank you guys for believing in us.
- 7:51If David had some great words to say after the interview,
- 7:54appreciate it. Ah, support David and Richard,

- 8:14really cool and you get to learn a lot about the movie in that
- 8:17episode. Check that out next Friday.
- 8:21So moving on though, yes. Yes, I was.
- 8:25Yes it has. I was blown the fuck away.
- 8:29Well first off I want to bring some up.
- 8:31Oh boy. Yeah.
- 8:34To Canada. Chill the fuck out.
- 8:37This is Nick's. Next lungs are not doing
- 8:41particularly well this week, if you never static sounds fucking
- 8:44Tuesday, he's he's been inhaling a lot of Canadian smoke and not
- 8:50the cool kind. Not the ganja, he's been
- 8:52inhaling forest fire smoking which is a dive as I face as he
- 8:59mastic second of the day I might add s Breeze.
- 9:02Permit of the deck. No sir.
- 9:04It's and it's a pro. So it's the bigger one, like,
- 9:07first. One of the day.
- 9:09Anyways, it smells like burning plastic.
- 9:11It does not smell good. I noticed that today, I'm not
- 9:13very good with smells. I really can't think that's a
- 9:17spell. So I had covid I haven't I don't
- 9:19think I have a very good sense of smell.
- 9:21I have to smell things like really, really strong for me to
- 9:24be able to get them and it took I right.
- 9:26People were like yeah it smelled so bad.
- 9:28Yesterday, like burnt, like you said like burning plastic and I
- 9:30like I didn't smell anything. Like I honestly Monday and Say
- 9:33when the when it started when it like got five music, man, it's
- 9:36really foggy. I thought it was fun, dude.
- 9:38I didn't know the smoke until my mom sent a screenshot and I was
- 9:42like apple. Well, the hair is happening to
- 9:47York. So, yeah.
- 9:50So I'm fucking, I'm outside vaping.
- 9:52And the GM at my work is like, I wonder if this is all that smoke
- 9:57from Canada and I was like, it's fucking fog.
- 9:59Jerk-off dude, no soot in my head.
- 10:02No, sooner, I'm out. Like I felt like shit all day.
- 10:05I was crabby as shit. You talking to that.
- 10:07I was a dickhead super crabby. I came home and I was Moody and
- 10:11I was a dick head that I was a dickhead.
- 10:13My wife. I was crabby though.
- 10:15And you know, I was like what the fuck my lungs hurt.
- 10:19I have a headache on Tuesday. I got home and like, that's when
- 10:22Perry and Landon are usually, you know, Perry's at her
- 10:25friend's house because they both work in the same location and
- 10:28landed with his grandma. So like it's game time, right?
- 10:30Like I can get home shower game. Yeah.
- 10:33Passed out. I had a fucked-up headache.
- 10:36I felt like shit. I couldn't breathe.
- 10:38So Mike do that's a smoke. It 'smoke.
- 10:39It's fucking smoke yesterday. I'm like dying at work Evans
- 10:44like are you okay? Sobbing shit.
- 10:45I'm like, I'm dying is a smoke and it's like, yeah, okay, today
- 10:49I was just fucking dude, Canada, stop this man.
- 10:52Just bad. We just got out of a pandemic.
- 10:56Okay, so covid, zup kind of gone.
- 11:01Submarine blue. The fuck up and now submersible
- 11:05Ferrari. Uncultured gosh, so different
- 11:08and it also it imploded, then blow up so it word exploded.
- 11:12What? If we're gonna do it, they
- 11:13actually found the wreckage. Yeah, I saw some pictures.
- 11:17Yeah, just want to take some pictures.
- 11:19Now, that's not a good one. Now, 250k just to do that, I
- 11:26would like to say, I'm actually, I'm actually, I'm actually
- 11:29pretty mad about the FAA. Fog because once I realized it
- 11:32was smoke and it was Canadian forest, fire smoke.
- 11:35I did say that to my parents. I'm like what happened in New
- 11:38York and they're like, yeah. And I'm like, well, why doesn't
- 11:40it look fucking cool outside? Well, I just looks like the Mist
- 11:44like, at least in, you know, New York City.
- 11:46I saw those pictures comparing it to like Blade Runner 2049 or
- 11:49fucking hell. Didn't ring and classically
- 11:52Khalid. I was like, wait running, like
- 11:54that looks fucking sweet. I wish I was like here and then
- 11:56it finally gets her. And it's like, now, it just
- 11:58looks like fog. It just looks like it's a Dr.
- 12:00Bober day in Michigan. Those man looks like bullshit,
- 12:03dude, but it's not bullshit. It's hot and it's humid.
- 12:06I'm pretty perfect. And it's raining.
- 12:08Yeah, it's like, I feel like I'm on a really bad Planet, no man's
- 12:11Sky to its are toxic toxic wastes away too hot,
- 12:15radioactive, like constant for forest fires.
- 12:19I'm like, I'm over this. Like, dude, I want it to be
- 12:21gone. I don't know.
- 12:22When it's supposed to be gone. I'm one of those people now, who
- 12:24in the summer, I don't check the weather.
- 12:25I just zoom every day. It's going to suck because I
- 12:27never did. We're not out that we're not
- 12:29out. I don't know if you guys You
- 12:30could tell were not outdoor, people know, like I try to be
- 12:33and then I go out, I try I try to be and then I go out there
- 12:36and it just, it kills me. Yeah.
- 12:39Like my dad looks fine when he's out and like he's wearing like
- 12:44jeans in a long sleeve, like a dress shirt.
- 12:46No. And I'm like, no.
- 12:47I'm like, you've gotta be sweating buckets.
- 12:50He's like, no, this is normal. I'm like normal, what?
- 12:52Like, no absolutes, not fair, it's not fair.
- 12:55You're lying to me. You guys somebody's doing
- 12:57something, they're using some special deodorant and their what
- 13:00They're in they're like not sweating.
- 13:01I don't I don't get absolutely the fuck not not doing that.
- 13:05Yeah one call Canada that's fine.
- 13:08Yeah call out again. There's things to make sure your
- 13:09passive-aggressive fucking forest fire.
- 13:12Jeff Jeff as probably Jeff if we both work at the same time.
- 13:16Thanks Jeff thanks, Chef, Eric School.
- 13:19You your the passive-aggressive for his fire.
- 13:21This is this is where Eric pops in and he goes well actually it
- 13:24was me but I did damn it now we have to defend Jeff.
- 13:28Anyways he's trying to take Gus out for the next DMD session.
- 13:32There's like, I know how to win. So, finally, get the topic
- 13:38picture. Hey man, leave you alone.
- 13:40He hurt nobody. So the topic of today's episode
- 13:43is actually a topic we've discussed before.
- 13:45And when the game was first, really shown off, There's huge
- 13:51hyper on this game. It's going to be one of the
- 13:53biggest games to come out in a long time and when we first saw
- 13:57the game made Evans reaction was a resounding.
- 14:02Yes. Yeah.
- 14:04It was very lackluster. We were not impressed and for a
- 14:11game this big you need to come out swinging which they did not
- 14:16but I'm happy to say that during the Xbox showcase that cut to
- 14:22the Starfield showcase when it was all said and done, it's turf
- 14:25field, direct. Yeah.
- 14:27The Lord and Savior, whatever you want to call them.
- 14:30Todd Howard, walks out on stage, and you know, in his head, he's
- 14:35going but yeah, but to my surprise.
- 14:45Very, very, very excited. Now I gotta say, I think I'm a
- 14:50bit more. I haven't been on the side of it
- 14:54and trusted it. As soon as they said the initial
- 14:57there will be a thousand planets in their not procedurally
- 15:01generated. And I was like, hmm.
- 15:02Like is that entirely out of the realm of possibility for a major
- 15:07company to do not necessarily but it's one of those things
- 15:10where it's you hear that and you just kind of go like okay like
- 15:14sure. Yeah because it's like the same
- 15:18thing. It's like whenever When Apple
- 15:20does there, you know, conferences and they say this is
- 15:22the fastest iPhone yet. So, yeah, it's the newest one.
- 15:24I would expect it to be. Yeah, I would hope it's like,
- 15:27it's like, one of these things where like Starfield says, it's
- 15:31a thousand planets and you're waiting for like that that
- 15:33asterisks at the end where it's like a thousand planets that
- 15:37are, you know, there's some are, you know, some really specific
- 15:41thing that breaks it up. So it's not actually a thousand
- 15:43planets and we learned something like that after the direct where
- 15:46it's two thousand planets, but only 100 have life on.
- 15:49You know, that kind of thing right?
- 15:51Where it's like. So now people are assuming
- 15:52there's 900 dead planets which they haven't, obviously said
- 15:58they won't try it, but I will say like, that's when I was not
- 16:02on the side of them and after seeing the direct I have been
- 16:05swayed over to the side of like, okay, I am anticipating this,
- 16:09I'll probably preload it and try it when it comes out because it
- 16:11is game past day one, baby ju Xbox.
- 16:15I will say yeah during the entire showcase for Xbox.
- 16:19Yes. Game passed a one-game past 81
- 16:22games. A lot phenomenal.
- 16:25And we're not going to talk about the FTC hearings.
- 16:27Then this episode there's a I don't pack with that.
- 16:31We will probably touch on that next episode next time, Yaks.
- 16:34I was that. Some sure.
- 16:36Yeah. So let's just schedule that out
- 16:38in front of you guys. Yeah, I did.
- 16:41But I mean, yeah, man, like Starfield looked uninspired.
- 16:46When we first saw it specially in the biggest thing that I
- 16:49noticed when we first saw, it was the That.
- 16:51Yes. And the brass thing, it looked
- 16:54like another it just like Fallout 4 in space.
- 16:58Yep, right. Which is fine if it isn't, it
- 17:01is, it's finding the sense that you're buying a Bethesda game.
- 17:04You know, you're getting a game in the same vein as Skyrim.
- 17:08Oblivion Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas but it mainly Vegas.
- 17:13Same fucking thing. It's obsidian but whatever.
- 17:16But like, you know, you're getting a game like that style
- 17:19stylized like that. But for this generation and for
- 17:24the council's that were get that we have in the PCS that were
- 17:26able to play games on. I expect more.
- 17:29I just do as a gamer, I expect more and for what I saw in this
- 17:34showcase I think it's going to shape up to be quite wonderful
- 17:38experience. I'm not saying it's going to
- 17:40come out, not bugged out. I know when the game comes out
- 17:43it's going to be bugged the fuck out, but it's one of those
- 17:45things where with Bethesda and I I don't like that.
- 17:52They get the pass. I really miss him.
- 17:56I am. And I'm not, I really don't like
- 17:58that. They get the pass, but like you
- 18:00watch a game like Skyrim come out, and how it gets shaped.
- 18:07And how you play it in the story.
- 18:10And you're like, okay there is love in these games, we're not
- 18:14going to my 76. That game is a pile of shit but
- 18:17there is love and set for Fallout 4.
- 18:20There's love, definitely love ball three.
- 18:22And there's definitely love in Skyrim and Oblivion.
- 18:25Yeah, yeah. So in that aspect is not worried
- 18:27about Starfield. I am worried about the bugs.
- 18:32I am worried that we're going to get the game.
- 18:34And it might be a bag of false Goods.
- 18:43If I see you reading from your notes no I'm just like trying to
- 18:47like think carefully and like not because I want to praise the
- 18:50gay. I have my notes up though.
- 18:52Yeah I want to praise the game because what we did see was
- 18:55awesome. And we will talk about a lot of
- 18:59points that, you know, we saw there in the Showcase, but I
- 19:02don't want to praise them highly because I don't want to get
- 19:05burned after cyberpunk. After all these games release
- 19:10the way they release. I mean, look at the Golem game,
- 19:12I wasn't pumped for that game but he amount.
- 19:16You can't release a game like that in this day and age, man.
- 19:19I just so for me and this is not entirely related directly to it,
- 19:24but because you brought up like the Golem game, I To know where
- 19:27it's falling apart at, you know, in the process of like, is it,
- 19:31is it gameplay? Is it Q&A, like are there QA
- 19:34testers that are just saying it's good without trying
- 19:36anything? You know what I mean?
- 19:37Like, I don't want to accuse anybody but I want to know where
- 19:41it's fumbling. And I think companies, I think
- 19:44they're like just put it out, let them fucking test it
- 19:46themselves as a mold release. And I'd like to know that like,
- 19:49I'd like to know is that the memo that because I mean, I
- 19:51think honestly, it's one of those things where we don't stop
- 19:55buying these Games because we get mad that they don't work.
- 19:59But there's never a clear culprit.
- 20:02There's no run name-dropped where it's like, this is the
- 20:05sole reason why it did not go well and I don't know if you can
- 20:08blame One Singular person for that.
- 20:11It's like maybe that comes out as bad, right?
- 20:12You can't blame solely one person for it, right?
- 20:15There's got to be multiple people real compassion of.
- 20:18Yeah. So I think if you like, I think,
- 20:22honestly, if you were to release, if there was a memo or
- 20:25there was something that came out, Early to where it was like,
- 20:28for instance, as an example. The CEO of EA said something
- 20:32about how, you know, those idiots are going to keep buying
- 20:34mad. And every year, I think you'd
- 20:35have a significant increase in people that wouldn't by Madam,
- 20:38you don't drop that. I think you would.
- 20:41And I think that's that's why you're giving them the past,
- 20:43right? Is like yeah, 76 came out and it
- 20:45wasn't what we wanted. It wasn't polished well and
- 20:49they've done their best to fix it, but at the same time, right?
- 20:52I think it was in a way. I hope it was a wake-up call for
- 20:55them. Yeah, where it's like we can't
- 20:57just keep making the same game. Like at the end of the day I
- 21:00want to fall out five but I don't want Fallout five to play
- 21:03like Fallout 4 3 and New Vegas and 76.
- 21:05I wanted to play like something new and I think that's where we
- 21:10see like Star field. Where yeah the first time we saw
- 21:12it we were like okay this is just like you said Fallout 4 in
- 21:16space, like the combat looks the same.
- 21:18The health bars are basically the same, I didn't see it but I
- 21:22was waiting for some you know star fast specific At system.
- 21:27I was what I was waiting for it because I was like this is it, I
- 21:29would expect it. And like that that bums me out
- 21:32because it's like, you guys have had how many years?
- 21:34And there's people want to say there's Innovation, but it's
- 21:37like that's most of the time. That's what you're going to be
- 21:39doing is fighting people and you know, you're going to be
- 21:43crafting and doing all that stuff.
- 21:44And if you don't improve on those basic systems people are
- 21:47going to look at it and go. Yeah, it is.
- 21:48Yeah, it's a fun game. The gameplay is the same as
- 21:51Fallout 4 and I think there's like, for me, I would kind of be
- 21:53like, yeah. That kind of sucks like If GTA 6
- 21:57comes out and it plays just like GTA 5, in the sense of, you
- 22:01know, I can't do the things I could do in Red Dead Redemption
- 22:03to, like, I couldn't talk to everybody.
- 22:05I would be pretty bummed out. I'd be like, well, what what's
- 22:08the point like, why are was all that work?
- 22:10You were talking about? Yeah.
- 22:11Why did it take you 8 to 10 years?
- 22:13And I mean according to rumors GTA a billion dollars to make
- 22:17GTA 6 if I'm not getting a vastly improved experience, same
- 22:21thing here you know if it come come to find out what Starfield
- 22:24cost three hundred million dollars to make and it plays
- 22:26just Like follow for, I think you'd have a bit of people on
- 22:28your hands that are going. Like, what what did we spend our
- 22:31money on? Somebody gonna made a mod of
- 22:33this in Fallout 4 and we would have been better off well and
- 22:36you got. But that's the saying this is
- 22:37their biggest adventure yet, you know me?
- 22:40So they're already hyping it up. They've been hyping it up since
- 22:43the direct to because I wanted that's what I wanted to bring up
- 22:46where you lose that sort of trust in you don't want to trust
- 22:49them. Is because every time after
- 22:51companies or big games, have a really good launch in terms of a
- 22:54trailer or, you know, gameplay thing.
- 22:56You always get those little tidbits after where it's, you
- 22:59know, one of the devs was interviewed and asked about
- 23:01bugs. And he said, I think one of the
- 23:03devs was like, yeah, we were to lease it tomorrow.
- 23:05It would have been. It would be one of the least
- 23:07buggy, Bethesda games of all time, so I'm going to hold you
- 23:10to that statement and in September when it comes out, if
- 23:14it's extremely buggy, explain it.
- 23:17Why? So, how is it less buggy in
- 23:19July? Or one of the least buggies,
- 23:21Bethesda games in July but yet it is more buggy than Fallout 4
- 23:25by September because logically That doesn't make sense.
- 23:29Well, you're not allowed to do the CDP are thing.
- 23:30Where years after Lisa go, well actually, I think the backlash
- 23:35was kind of blown out of proportion.
- 23:36Do you see that? And did somebody say?
- 23:39That's what that, that's what the head of PR said, bro?
- 23:41You promised us like, what? Bro, that's what he said, bro.
- 23:49Like what I wrote a 10-page essay that day and in
- 23:52preparation like not preparation for it, but I did it as my final
- 23:56College. Class.
- 23:57And I was like, yeah, my reward is cyberpunk 2077.
- 24:00Do you know how disappointed devastated he was Devon?
- 24:03I was devastated. I drank half of fifth that
- 24:05night. I was so mad first.
- 24:07We were pissed but like I was saying that you can't just walk
- 24:10back. If you're saying this, you can't
- 24:12go. You can't go three years later
- 24:14and another thing you're doing, yeah, one more thing fuckers.
- 24:17Yes, like nah, bro. You had you had your time in the
- 24:20sun. Um, actually I think it was your
- 24:22father, like, what? No.
- 24:24Yeah, like you're catching. You gonna catch his hands.
- 24:26Oh, yeah, man. I'd be I'd be mad as hell about
- 24:29that. No, that's my brother that I
- 24:31went. Okay.
- 24:32But he told me that good thing. You didn't send it to me.
- 24:34I would have said, like, dude, what like it really was bastard,
- 24:37are you out of your car? Like but like that's what like I
- 24:41don't want to happen with this like I'm excited I don't like I
- 24:43like Space games and I like I mean to touch a bit more on some
- 24:46of the other stuff we saw newer things right I loved the
- 24:50shipbuilding I like that it looks so unique like you can
- 24:54ever you that's going to be an entire Subreddit is going to be
- 24:57people's oh my God. Yeah, shins, they had ones that
- 25:00look like trucks. You know, like transponders.
- 25:05Yeah, you can, you can build them out, to be whatever you
- 25:07want. And I love that two of you can
- 25:09build them for specific purposes.
- 25:10Whether it's their more of a pirate based, you know, damage
- 25:13heavy ship, something that's fast and light.
- 25:15Something for cargo like Star Citizen, get on it, like
- 25:20following that step, I don't care.
- 25:21If you got like 60 ships, just give me like the base to work
- 25:24with and I can change. By the way, I want, but I like
- 25:28that. I like that.
- 25:30The ship's look really incredible to talk about a basic
- 25:33gameplay but yeah, well what are you worried about Michael
- 25:36transactions with when it comes to the shipbuilding?
- 25:40You think there's going to be that in a single player but
- 25:42there's no game. Did we have any 4023?
- 25:48I think later on you did. I throw the body for it to be
- 25:51able to mod? Yeah.
- 25:52But I think that was like, a one-time purchase or a
- 25:54subscription. It's 2023.
- 25:58So, I bring that up because like I want in a game like this.
- 26:05I want to feel rewarded, right? So I want to do cool shit to
- 26:08earn cool. Shit for my ships.
- 26:11I want like a micro transaction here or there for a game like
- 26:16this. Okay.
- 26:17Besides you have Diablo levels like, I loved a blow for.
- 26:21Yeah, I'm not, but I see what you meant by that.
- 26:24I am not blind to how expensive a set of armor.
- 26:27Isn't that game? It is a rich man's game to play
- 26:30that and what I mean yes it is because of how expensive it was
- 26:34to get. In Diablo for and then on top of
- 26:37that to add in all of the micro transactions with Cosmetics, it
- 26:41is a rich man's game. But after the fact ya know 100%
- 26:44I don't want to see that and Starfield man like here and
- 26:48there. Sure okay.
- 26:49And later on in its life cycle, a little like I give it a year
- 26:51in sure. Oh yeah right away.
- 26:54You drop that right out the gate dude you are gonna you want to
- 26:58watch, Bethesda burn the you're gonna piss everyone.
- 27:00I don't I don't want it to be the thing when I load up the
- 27:02game I don't want to go on a spacing of I don't want it to
- 27:05be, I downloaded a one-game pass and I don't want to load up the
- 27:08game after I get home from work. And I have to click through
- 27:11Banner board. Get the get the Explorer packed
- 27:16today, only $20 and it's like, it's like a outfit and a gun
- 27:20like no, just don't, don't don't do that.
- 27:23Like right gear your bank, on the fact that people are going
- 27:27to buy the game and it's going to get good word of mouth and
- 27:29more. People are going to buy it.
- 27:30You already got three hundred dollar watch, we'll talk about
- 27:33that later on this though. But yeah, but I agree with you,
- 27:36I don't want to see a bunch of, Michael transactions, right out
- 27:39the gate, where it's just like, hey, yeah, like thank you for
- 27:43getting Game Pass or spending $70 or $90 or $250.
- 27:48If you have the collectors edition, would you be interested
- 27:51in buying a pack with a cool banana on the backpack?
- 27:54Like, no be from Papa. I would gladly, give you
- 27:57microtransaction. Hey, we're $20 too much.
- 28:01Just don't like I'll play the game I but what's not going to
- 28:04make it? Play it as me getting in there
- 28:06and you ask him for more of my money, right?
- 28:08That's that that really pale that would kill my experience
- 28:12but to more of your on your point of the shipbuilding, it
- 28:15looks fucking awesome. It looks and it looks awesome
- 28:19because it actually looks inspired.
- 28:22It's inspired and it's very it's letting you do it, right?
- 28:25It's nice. You're not fitting into our
- 28:27mold, just do what you want to do maps.
- 28:29It looked like it snapped really fucking.
- 28:31Well, I hope it makes noise when you snap them like that.
- 28:34Like cool. That'd be sick.
- 28:36What like it's like Starship Troopers the base building the
- 28:38Starship Troopers, like everything just kind of goes.
- 28:41Boom, boom boom, boom, boom. In a like and it's nice.
- 28:44It feels great. Like I know the base building in
- 28:47Fallout 4 sucked. You have is now that's why I
- 28:50hated doing it when they make you do it.
- 28:52Like they force you to do it in the story until like build a
- 28:55generator and it's just like, dude, this looks awful, which I
- 28:58think what's the star field? You can build bases to on
- 29:00separate plants. Can you not if I'm not mistaken?
- 29:02Yes. Yes I said you'll be able to a
- 29:03lot more you available. Puss and to add a different
- 29:06thing about gameplay. We can segue into in a minute or
- 29:10so after you're done is the companions which you can, it
- 29:13looks the way they worded it as in previous Fallout games and I
- 29:17think you can, you know, confirm this for me.
- 29:19I don't really remember very well but you would be able to
- 29:23find companions. Have them be your companions and
- 29:26when you want to switch them out you had to send them back.
- 29:28Did you not? Because you couldn't have more
- 29:30than a certain amount? A certain amount.
- 29:31Yeah. You'd have to send them back to
- 29:33wherever or like just Like, let tell them to wander the
- 29:36Wasteland, you'll they would be on your pip, they'd be on your
- 29:39Pip-Boy, you see what they are but like, well, I can you send
- 29:43them off the way they were talking about it, with this new
- 29:46version of companions. They've created, is that you
- 29:48will have ship members. You'll have crew members, and
- 29:50then you also can find other people and society, and on
- 29:54different planets, and you can recruit them to stay at your
- 29:57Outpost and work there, or stay there.
- 29:59And like, they will give you benefits for being there.
- 30:02So like each companion. Has strengths and weaknesses.
- 30:06So you obviously would want to have somebody who's more of an
- 30:08engineer be on a ship with you rather than being at some base.
- 30:13That doesn't require that sort of thing.
- 30:18I'm, I'm really excited about that.
- 30:20I like that there's going to be that sort of ability of I'm not
- 30:23losing these people. These people are, I am building
- 30:26relationships with them in a way of, like, yeah, I went, and I
- 30:29traveled, you know, tons of planets with this guy and, you
- 30:33know, he wants to just relax. And some down, he doesn't have a
- 30:36place to be. Well, I have an outpost on this
- 30:38planet, that doesn't require a lot of Maintenance or things
- 30:41that you like to do or something like that or things that you are
- 30:43good at. So go stay there.
- 30:45And then whenever I want to stop in there and I'm, you know,
- 30:47taking a rest or something like that, he is there.
- 30:49She's there and I'm able to talk to them and I like that idea
- 30:52like I like that instead of. Yeah, like you said just telling
- 30:55him to, you know, F off and go somewhere like they are there
- 30:59and they will be doing something right rather than just I mean
- 31:02was soon as you tell a companion in Fallout New Vegas to like Go
- 31:05and wander the Wasteland or whatever, they just they go.
- 31:07Okay. And they just go give a fuck
- 31:09off, they go somewhere and they just like, yeah, kill things or
- 31:12whatever. Like there's nothing, there's no
- 31:13purpose to them are literally just walking.
- 31:15There's one thing. Yeah.
- 31:16And it's like and also in terms of a somatic thing.
- 31:21Why just you gonna tell some guy in the post-apocalyptic world of
- 31:24leg, Las Vegas? Yeah, I just fuck off.
- 31:26Go go fight. Some red.
- 31:28See you, when I see you. Yeah.
- 31:30Cause yeah, I'll see you when I see you, I don't care.
- 31:32But like, so I like that and I think that the Has are going to
- 31:35be really interesting to see how they go and how they all have
- 31:39like characteristics. Instead, they're all fear own
- 31:42personalities is really awesome. Their own traits was a big thing
- 31:46discussed traits and you can romance in this game trade
- 31:52school. I do like what they're doing
- 31:56with that because it adds more depth to your relationships with
- 32:00your companions. And it makes you have to think
- 32:03about like who you're going to bring out with you.
- 32:05If anyone at all, it makes you think we're going to add to your
- 32:08ship. If anyone at all.
- 32:10I like that a lot it. Again, it adds depth to the game
- 32:14and it's just the more and more, they discussed it.
- 32:19The more I was like, okay, this is very well thought out so far,
- 32:23there are a lot of traits. A lot of traits that yes.
- 32:26If I choose from like they had xenobiologist, I think they had
- 32:29like yeah, it was, is this physicist Diplomat like tons of
- 32:33stuff and like, yeah, obviously, there's your basic, you know,
- 32:37certain things of like a diplomat means, you're able to
- 32:39get, you know, compromise get things done.
- 32:41You can be a little bit more persuasive, obviously a chef,
- 32:44you know how to cook. So like you have better meals,
- 32:47which give you better benefits, and People will respond like
- 32:49that's what they says. Like people will respond to
- 32:51that. If you cook well your companions
- 32:53will notice that they're not going to just say like, you
- 32:57know, the same retired voice line over and over again every
- 33:01time you make right or something like that.
- 33:02So I I think that's really interesting to me, and it gives
- 33:10I think this kind of feeds into rd&d Obsession recently is that
- 33:14we want more games. That encourage that encourage,
- 33:17that sort of behavior of this is your world.
- 33:19We have created it. I mean, they've created this
- 33:22world for us play in it, you know, like, playing it enjoy it,
- 33:26have fun with it and do what you want to do.
- 33:28Be good be bad. Be, they had that one employee
- 33:32that she like, just like slapped, like 1000 sandwiches on
- 33:36a table and she's like, yeah, you can do that.
- 33:39Like just just make a table and if you want to put a bunch of
- 33:42sandwiches on there, you can't nobody gonna stop you.
- 33:44The cool thing about that, is it showed the persistence in the
- 33:47game as well? And how?
- 33:49Well that is working within the game objects persist in this
- 33:53game and I like that they're really showing you.
- 33:56Like there is a lot of depth here and this is how much depth
- 34:01there is and the Persistence of the depth and of these objects
- 34:05of these. These characters will remain.
- 34:07I like that. A lot is something I star Fields
- 34:09actually working on right now. This is let to start.
- 34:14Sorry. Field is to a lesser degree
- 34:16obviously because it's not online, right?
- 34:19Yeah. But it is still nice to see that
- 34:21they have. Worked on it, more from each
- 34:26title that, but that's the releases.
- 34:29So that that is nice that, you know, that's not one of those
- 34:32things where it's like, okay, cool.
- 34:35Let's start with that fucking combat and first and third
- 34:38person, it's a state first and third person is a staple in a
- 34:41but that's a game that is. Yeah, we'll get that all the way
- 34:43right now. It is nice to see that they are
- 34:45sticking with that combat. I got to say, I think the combat
- 34:49really reminded me at first, when I saw it, kind of like a
- 34:52Wolfenstein. Ask you, like, it's faster, but
- 34:55it's not as fast as Doom. Like, the Doom is quick, Dumas
- 35:01fast. I'd sumhassin Wolfenstein can be
- 35:05quick, but you have the ability to also take it slow and be
- 35:08stealthy if you want. Yeah.
- 35:11And you can have you are I'd say in Doom, your kind of rewarded
- 35:15for going as quickly as you can. Get more Health, you get more
- 35:18armor, whereas and Wolfenstein. I think that people will find
- 35:20that. It feels like doom and some of
- 35:22the movement and how fast you are, but you are so much weaker
- 35:27so you can't afford and all of your enemies.
- 35:29Have a lot of armor and I kind of like where I hope it takes
- 35:33more after that and star field of it being like, yeah, you can.
- 35:36But this is also an RPG, right Wolfenstein isn't so you have.
- 35:40I think you're going to have a lot of ability to customize how
- 35:42you want to play co-op combat. You know if you don't want to
- 35:46just tanked up with a bunch. Armor and a shotgun go for it.
- 35:49But if you also want to be a bit more laid back and maybe a
- 35:54sniper of some kind, you can I like that?
- 35:56You can? This is this if you make a game
- 35:58where people have jet packs and you can't shoot the jet packs
- 36:00and they fly around and explode. There's no reason to make a game
- 36:03with jetpacks. And I'm happy to see that you
- 36:05can do that in this. Like you didn't really see in
- 36:08the last video they showed off the gameplay.
- 36:11So the again the combat here. They the cool thing is you know,
- 36:16if people Went, this looks like shit, the combat looked like
- 36:20shit. I'm just going to say, I'm not
- 36:22going to sugarcoat it. It look it look it look like hot
- 36:24fucking garbage. It was like, okay cool.
- 36:27This sucks I guess it's going to be boring this combat.
- 36:30I was like, okay cool. They've they've refined it.
- 36:32They've asked for help the people behind Destiny.
- 36:35I want us bungee, I believe help them.
- 36:37So I mean, hey man, it needed to happen and it did happen.
- 36:42And here we fucking are bright. Beautiful phenomenal.
- 36:46Thank you. That they tried it right instead
- 36:49of just saying, you know, we're going to stick to our guns,
- 36:51right. There were like, okay, if it's
- 36:52really that bad, and that's a problem, let's fix it.
- 36:54You know? And that's kind of what you say,
- 36:57has to do. Ya like, yeah, you're supposed
- 36:58to do so happy that they did that.
- 37:00Yeah. I'm excited for the combat,
- 37:02although I think because it's a space game, my heart really lies
- 37:05with the exploring and the just discovering planets and life
- 37:10forms, and all that kind of stuff.
- 37:11I hope that there's some sort of level of being able to be
- 37:14rewarded for finding those things because there is good
- 37:17because I say, wouldn't do that. Yep, that's all I want to do in
- 37:20Star Citizen, right? That's all I want to do.
- 37:23I just want to explore. I want to find these really
- 37:25weird planets with weird features and and problems and
- 37:31different life forms that I've never seen before and then
- 37:33document them and sell them to people for information.
- 37:36And that's, that's the dream for me is like, it's a life of, It's
- 37:40like Star Trek. I am boldly going where nobody
- 37:44has gone before. Oh, that was crazy.
- 37:45I hated saying every word of that.
- 37:47So before we can go before we get into the exploration, I will
- 37:51say the jetpack is a great addition and if you're in zero g
- 37:58and you are shooting that bitch will push you back.
- 38:01I think that's so cool. So that is awesome.
- 38:03It's a nice touch. It also looks like there is
- 38:06going to be plenty of enemy variations between human robotic
- 38:10cybernetics and you know, alien animal.
- 38:14There's a lot here. When it comes to the exploration
- 38:19it looks like it's going to be very fun.
- 38:23There's a star map that will show you the planet.
- 38:25You're going to be entering that star map will give you a
- 38:28breakdown of the planet. What elements are possibly on
- 38:31this planet, what you can mine from the planet.
- 38:34The exploration you've done in the planet, what you found on
- 38:38the planet and what you've mined from the planet.
- 38:40So there there's depth right then and there in the
- 38:43expiration, the travel looks like it's going to be pretty.
- 38:47Asked, I think it's going to be a glorified loading screen, so
- 38:52like it's quick. Yeah, I'm really worried.
- 38:55It's going to be a lot of easy travel between planets and then
- 38:58some weird loading screens in between, but I understand why it
- 39:00is a big game, they got a stream, a lot of stuff in.
- 39:04So I don't know. I'm curious about how that's
- 39:07going to go in terms of the loading between planets, but I
- 39:09will agree with Nick 100% I love, I love that.
- 39:12I love that, you can read all the information about these
- 39:14planets to about us, you know, That's that was a cool thing.
- 39:18Always in no man's Sky. How you could choose which
- 39:19planets you wanted to go to? You got a little brief
- 39:22description of like it's radioactive a lot.
- 39:24Like the ones you always were looking out for were Paradise
- 39:26planets. Like these are planets that have
- 39:28very little problems, they are beautiful, all that kind of
- 39:32stuff and then they would tell you other things about them as
- 39:34well. Whereas I like this.
- 39:35It's a bit more scientific in its approach of being.
- 39:38Here's the 02 percentage. Here's the gravity here's this,
- 39:41you know, like here's the main elements that make up the
- 39:43atmosphere blah, blah, blah, that to me is a little bit
- 39:46cooler, Because it's a bit more grounded in reality.
- 39:49I feel like with no man's Sky, you're clearly in a very
- 39:52futuristic Galaxy. It would not make a lot of sense
- 39:55for me for my HUD on my, you know, super highly technological
- 39:59spaceship to tell me like yes, cool, like that's not a lot of
- 40:03information to go off of well, speaking of ships.
- 40:08I am also proud to say and happy to say the combat looks great.
- 40:13Yes. There is ship docking.
- 40:15So you can dock on an enemy ship and you can nice.
- 40:19I see what you're doing. I know you're doing and you can
- 40:21steal that enemy ship or just attack them.
- 40:24Yeah. And once you still let ship it
- 40:26is a part of your fucking Fleet. That is sick.
- 40:30That's cool. That is fucking awesome.
- 40:33Great job and get the Bad Karma. Did.
- 40:36Did I hope? Yeah, I'm gonna be an asshole.
- 40:38Like I did in Star field Star Citizen.
- 40:41That was not cool. What you did to that guy?
- 40:43No, that was not cool. That could come.
- 40:46So the forums are you? So pissed.
- 40:49Probably you believe it. And I'm like yeah, that's my
- 40:51boy. He did it.
- 40:55So everything that you know, space exploration, ship
- 40:59customization, the ship fighting being able to steal our people
- 41:02ships be able to dock on other ships, and fuck them up or take
- 41:05them or All the resources or take ship.
- 41:08Great. Looks awesome.
- 41:10The level of depth there again, the word here today is depth.
- 41:14Yeah, there's a lot of it in this game and I'm very fucking
- 41:17stoked. There looked like looked to be a
- 41:19new animation system, everything looks sleek solid and fluid.
- 41:23I really liked that a lot. The game itself looks fucking
- 41:26beautiful. There was a new city shown off,
- 41:31very big city. There's a few, I believe.
- 41:35But so there's one Yeah, there's some big cities with this is one
- 41:37of the biggest they've ever done.
- 41:39New Atlantis was a massive massive and it looks to be kind
- 41:45of maybe a player hubs. Well the alien / creature,
- 41:50design of the game, looked awesome.
- 41:53Yeah. Like didn't look like, likes the
- 41:55game Spore where there's like a bunch of Dick knows, aliens
- 41:57walking around. Is that looked really good?
- 42:00I'm gonna the facial animations are B diff But that's not why
- 42:07you're playing the game, you know.
- 42:09Yeah I mean I agree with you on that of that's not the reason
- 42:12but at the same time I am to be looking at these people's faces
- 42:14when I'm talking. Yeah, I'm hoping they can maybe
- 42:17iron that out, they're not as bad as I'd say like Fallout 3
- 42:20was where it was like. They only did they did the same
- 42:23head tilt animation every time they had a question like oh
- 42:26yeah, Jesus. Oh now I didn't see that a lot
- 42:29of the time. So I mean, and we didn't really
- 42:31spend a lot of time in the direct really talking
- 42:32specifically to different people and seeing how it went.
- 42:35But Yeah I think yeah they look a little stiff but I would hope
- 42:40that maybe that's just I hope it's just not every conversation
- 42:44feels the same in terms of how they move and how they toss, you
- 42:47know. Like I hope that it's very not
- 42:50fluid but I hope there's a difference.
- 42:53It's not just the same retired assets over and over and Anime
- 42:57over and over. Yeah, the greatest fan from
- 43:00Elder Scrolls returns in this as a nice little fucking not the
- 43:05care. Character creation.
- 43:07So we're going to do, we're going to knock out our main
- 43:10points to talk about the negatives.
- 43:11We're going to fucking hammer in that nail, the character
- 43:15creation was massive. Yes.
- 43:18Very again detailed and in-depth looks, that's going to be a fun
- 43:24little chunk of my time playing with the character creation and
- 43:28this really fucking around with. It looks awesome.
- 43:31It looks fun and I'm excited to make my character try to look as
- 43:36much. Looks like me as possible.
- 43:37Like I love doing that these games especially yeah I'm
- 43:41excited for the character creation as well.
- 43:42Not so much, the physical stuff but definitely the personality
- 43:46details traits. That kind of thing is really
- 43:47going to be where I'm sinking my teeth into.
- 43:49I don't really think I'm like Nick in the sense of I try to
- 43:53make myself look more like my characters or I try to make I
- 43:56try to add on some things that I wish I had had like a full beard
- 44:00or something. Yeah, but where I really get to
- 44:03like, I love sinking my teeth into is Definitely, the
- 44:07backstory /. You know what has my life been
- 44:10up to this point? What I'm like, what am I good
- 44:13at? What am I, you know, I think
- 44:14that comes from the character creating stuff in D&D and
- 44:17Baldur's Gate. I spent a lot of time in
- 44:20Baldur's Gate, three. I created my character really
- 44:23quick got that out of the way and then I was like, okay, now I
- 44:25get to choose all the cool stuff being, you know what, what, you
- 44:28know, yeah, class May going to be, what specialization am I
- 44:31going to be? You know, what's the story?
- 44:33That's right. That's where I'm drawn to when
- 44:35it comes to Character creation. But yeah, I agree, I think it's
- 44:38going to be really in depth and going to be a lot of time.
- 44:39A lot of lot of fun, and I don't like character creation.
- 44:43Customization there is weapon customization in this and that
- 44:47again, looked in depth. It looked like there's a lot
- 44:50there, you may grow up as a pretty fucking cool.
- 44:53On top of that, there is a gravity compensation.
- 44:56I was not expecting to do that. That's pretty cool, and Base
- 45:00building, which I figured we'd come back after it was in
- 45:03Fallout 4. They may I figured they were
- 45:05going to want to revisit Eat that and really refine it, which
- 45:09given how the space customization looks, it's
- 45:12probably be refined. Yeah, I hope it's a bit.
- 45:15Yeah, I would say, I think it's going to be a bit more refined
- 45:17and, and II just hope it's not followed for no, I do not.
- 45:22So I'm hoping for this. So, I mean, this is a Bethesda
- 45:25game through and through, I'm very excited for this one,
- 45:31though. There is a Collector's Edition
- 45:33comes with a watch the watch text to your phone.
- 45:36And very nice-looking presentation on the watch.
- 45:40The packaging looks very nice. The watch itself does look cool.
- 45:45Yeah that price points is not cool.
- 45:49Yeah, I think especially if you already have a smart watch,
- 45:53there's really no reason for you to go out and get this one
- 45:55unless you're that big of a. The thing for me is, I don't
- 45:58think you should necessarily role with a Collector's Edition
- 46:00for your first foray into a new IP.
- 46:04No, I don't think so. Like like nobody knows how this
- 46:07is gonna play out, you know. Like when they did 76 and you
- 46:11could get the helmet like sure, everybody knows that helmet and
- 46:15every like that's what the simple care.
- 46:19About the bag. I just wanted that element.
- 46:20I never got it. The symbol of the game.
- 46:22Was that helmet right? Or like what you when people
- 46:25think of Follow that and the Pip-Boy are what come to mind,
- 46:28whereas Starfield. It's like we don't even know
- 46:30this. Like, we know the significance
- 46:32of the watch now, but like, if you had made two star Fields up
- 46:35to this point in, this is the third one and this is you know
- 46:38that watch has become a staple. Now I could see making it a
- 46:40collector's edition. Right.
- 46:42That's basically your Pip-Boy right right in the yeah.
- 46:45It's your Pip-Boy in this game, which is cool.
- 46:47But again, I think I'm just questioning I think the decision
- 46:50of spending the time on that of making those watches and it is
- 46:54cool for people that you know, are gonna end up getting them
- 46:56that don't have a smart watch as it does, do that functionality,
- 46:59it can tell you you know certain things about your health and
- 47:02what not but at the end of the day I just I would be really
- 47:05shocked to find someone out in the world.
- 47:08Wearing that I don't think anyone in our friend group is
- 47:11going to buy that. No, I wouldn't expect him to and
- 47:13I'd kind of just you know I mean it's your choice, right?
- 47:16You get it, you get it. But I just wouldn't see the
- 47:19Point in it especially you're putting how much?
- 47:21What 350 250 300 333 300 I think.
- 47:25Yeah so you've been three hundred dollars behind a
- 47:28brand-new Bethesda. IP that sounds dangerous.
- 47:30If you really want to get something merchandise for this
- 47:33game, the headset and the controller looked gorgeous.
- 47:37The controller I would say is personally probably my favorite
- 47:40thing and that was cool futuristic retro look to it
- 47:44which is what they said they called it NASA punk, I think is
- 47:48what they call. In the direct, which is that,
- 47:51it's that early era of space flight, but it's still got that.
- 47:55It's got a punk look to it like it's been, you know, humanized a
- 47:59bit more, I'd say. And it's a bit rough around the
- 48:02edges in a good way rather than being.
- 48:04Yeah. Just like, we're Rusty, and that
- 48:06kind of thing. But, yeah, I, but I like that,
- 48:08which I think is what the controller looks like.
- 48:09You have very classic like design choices but the colors
- 48:13are bright, they're very strong, they're really, really good,
- 48:16really pops. Yeah, they make a statement.
- 48:18Yeah. But like the Just in the design
- 48:20around. It is very form-fitting feature,
- 48:23you know, functionality purpose. Yeah, based.
- 48:26So yeah. I'd say the controller would be
- 48:28my thing that I'd get honestly because I just think it looks
- 48:30gorgeous. Yeah, I think I think
- 48:33controlling the headset looks amazing.
- 48:34I'm going there. I noticed in this were rear end
- 48:37off, is that it did chug in certain spots and it is going to
- 48:44be locked to 30fps on console. And that's they were the way
- 48:51they were saying was because we want you to notice all the
- 48:54detail, it's a pretty game graphically and we don't want
- 48:57you to miss anything. I don't know.
- 49:03That's a misstep right there. The other misstep they made was
- 49:07they were they announced that their only they were only going
- 49:09to be using AMD sfsr DLS. S is far superior now, they're
- 49:17using now. DLS s is going to be
- 49:18incorporated. Thank you, think that, I think
- 49:22that especially that second part is a bit of a weird move to
- 49:25make. Like, I don't think AMD would
- 49:28care so much that you're using DL s s0.
- 49:31Every, every I don't think they care.
- 49:34I don't think they care. So yeah, I don't see the point
- 49:36in that. I, I agree with Nick and a lot
- 49:40of the respects of keeping it locked at 30.
- 49:42I think it's kind of, especially because these consoles have been
- 49:44touted as being. I mean, the whole talking point
- 49:46behind both of them is that they're more powerful than the
- 49:48previous ones and they're capable of Fucking shit console
- 49:52cycle. The we're not doing that like
- 49:53like there, it's just you haven't seen, I haven't seen the
- 49:57value in a lot of it yet. The only value I've seen in
- 50:00playing either of a new consoles and dollars worth of fucking
- 50:02paper, weights of my house. It's been, it's been the PS5 and
- 50:05it's only because of, like, God of War Ragnarok and gt7 like
- 50:11like last those part to sure. But at the same time, I played
- 50:13that game enough times. That like I don't need it to be
- 50:1560 FPS, no looks good and it looked good enough.
- 50:18Good enough on the PS4. Yeah.
- 50:20I just see, I'm waiting for it to come to PC now, like, I don't
- 50:23care, but I agree with Nick in the sense of, I don't think it's
- 50:28a really good decision to make in this regard, but I also I'm
- 50:31trying to understand it from their point of view of, like,
- 50:33Fidelity wise. It would be too odd maybe for
- 50:38the console to keep trying to get to 60 even though I'm
- 50:41shocked. Yeah, my neck, I'm sorry I'm
- 50:43freaking out but yeah, I think that I'm trying to see both
- 50:49sides of it, but I'm definitely more on your side of.
- 50:53I didn't want to pay $500. Play at 30fps.
- 50:55My guy. If I was a console game, I wish
- 50:58I had the Xbox, I do have PS5, so full disclosure and but I
- 51:02primarily paying my PC, if you listen to show, you know that I
- 51:07would be disappointed. Yeah, incredibly disappointed.
- 51:12I wouldn't be happy with that decision.
- 51:14I would, I understand it. But yeah, it's me.
- 51:18I understand it. Other Gamers will not listen to
- 51:23that, they don't care to hear it and I don't blame them.
- 51:26We've been burned, and burned and burned, and burned,
- 51:29especially if you're on cop, I would say, peace, he's been
- 51:32pretty burned with ports. We get burned when it comes to
- 51:35the our ports. But It's a console gets burned.
- 51:38In many regards to Performance, they get burned in the games
- 51:41that they are allowed to play. We've asked, they have more
- 51:45games than they do. Yeah.
- 51:46Easy. 100%. I mean, why are they all here?
- 51:49So many? No, no, no.
- 51:50We get a lot of community created and people, you know,
- 51:53Indie developer stuff on here, versus where Xbox and
- 51:57Playstation are really they're going to, you know, allow what
- 51:59they want in terms of, in a lot of the games that we could play
- 52:02any. I couldn't, I could never
- 52:03imagine playing squad on a controller.
- 52:06Are my I don't need a CI roller. That's stupid.
- 52:09I've seen it, he'll let loose has a console game.
- 52:12Like they have a console version and it's like, how, what, how,
- 52:16like why are you doing that? Like, I just don't get it but
- 52:20yeah, whatever. I agree.
- 52:22I agree. I think it's one of those things
- 52:24where I understand it. I get it and I understand why
- 52:27it's probably easier for them to not have to worry about
- 52:29constantly trying to hit to hit a 60 FPS Target on the day.
- 52:33A thousand planets, a lot of different, you know,
- 52:35environments in the Occasions and a lot of different effects
- 52:37of cover for all those because I just get it.
- 52:40There's they're trying to make it very variety buried in that
- 52:44sense. That's not good.
- 52:45English. I'm sorry.
- 52:46But like, they're trying to make each planet feel different.
- 52:50I hope. And so it's probably a lot
- 52:51harder for them to try and get that 60fps Target.
- 52:54So I understand it. But I think that you could level
- 52:57some criticism at them for that, or at least not being upfront,
- 53:00about it right away, but you're right, and I hate that Nick is
- 53:03right on this and that Gamers don't listen, they don't care.
- 53:06Like, they don't care that, they don't wanna hear it.
- 53:08You said this console could run as he ever say.
- 53:09Yeah. I probably could, but like the
- 53:11developer didn't want to do that which is their decision, they
- 53:13don't have to run it at 60 FPS because Xbox can run at 60fps.
- 53:18Yes, there's a few caveats here, but hopefully it looks good and
- 53:24I'm excited. I'll be, I'll be playing a day.
- 53:261 and day. One is 96, 23?
- 53:30It is finally almost here. It's probably was originally
- 53:33November. So I means in my That would mean
- 53:36development is went well as going home.
- 53:39So I would hope. So that's a Wednesday by the
- 53:42way. That's when I'll be Takin
- 53:45Thursday off. Yeah man.
- 53:49I'm excited for this before we close.
- 53:52Did you see that? During the FTC hearings Daisy to
- 53:56got leaked why? Thanks, thanks Bohemia.
- 53:58Thanks for finishing Daisy. Anyways, you ready to wrap it
- 54:03up. I'm pissed.
- 54:04I'm fucking so mad. Here for that.
- 54:08Nick. Let's fix if they put their new
- 54:13armed attack in it. I'm cool with it.
- 54:16It's not going to be what you wanted to be, and I'm gonna tell
- 54:18you that, it's gonna suck. Hey, what happened to the day
- 54:21before? I forget.
- 54:25I forgot about that. Until you just said it buddy.
- 54:26That's what happened to. Hey, what happened?
- 54:28That gave as good as it's going to be like, then it was gonna be
- 54:31the next. It's not talking out.
- 54:33They say, well, I would say they stole your money but they never.
- 54:36/. That's the one correct thing
- 54:37they did. They did they did not take any
- 54:39money. That's it for this weeks episode
- 54:42guys. Catch you guys next.
- 54:43Wednesday and Friday for a big wasd and Beyond ex FPS.
- 54:52Yes doc interview. Thank you.
- 54:54My brain is turning off. Alright guys until next week
- 54:57take it easy. See ya this is the You ASD and
- 55:07Beyond card.
