- 0:00Speaker 1: Donald. Look at this. I'm on a health kick now
- 0:02Speaker 1: because I fucking need to be. And look who's back Giant.
- 0:08Speaker 2: I just started that.
- 0:09Speaker 1: The Giant water bottle is back everyone. And I do
- 0:11Speaker 1: have to give a shout out to Liquid IV I
- 0:14Speaker 1: I they are a sponsor, but they I don't work.
- 0:17Speaker 1: I don't need to mention it, and I'm not required
- 0:20Speaker 1: to mention it while we're talking. But I if you
- 0:23Speaker 1: put the liquid IV packet in the drink, I swear
- 0:29Speaker 1: I drink it. I will literally drink the whole thing because.
- 0:31Speaker 3: It tastes good.
- 0:32Speaker 1: It tastes amazing, and and and there's no calories, right
- 0:35Speaker 1: there's I don't believe there's any calories.
- 0:37Speaker 4: No, It's like it's like creating a a energy drink.
- 0:42Speaker 2: When you do it, you know what I mean.
- 0:43Speaker 4: When you don't liquid IV in there, it's you're creating
- 0:46Speaker 4: an energy drink of hydration.
- 0:49Speaker 1: All I know is I'm drinking it. I actually drink it.
- 0:52Speaker 1: When it's just water and ice, I will not drink it.
- 0:54Speaker 1: But I put a Liquid IV packet in it, and
- 0:57Speaker 1: I drink. There you go, Liquid IV.
- 1:00Speaker 2: I'm gonna show I'm actually.
- 1:03Speaker 1: I can't believe he literally just pulled up his I
- 1:07Speaker 1: go ahead, down, pull up your giant water bottle. Pull
- 1:09Speaker 1: up your giant water bottle. Okay, well I have the
- 1:11Speaker 1: giant water bottle right here. But that's not China enough.
- 1:13Speaker 1: It's not big, it's not as big.
- 1:15Speaker 3: But I was playing Ultimate Frisbee on Tuesday night and
- 1:18Speaker 3: someone was talking about, God, I have these new packets
- 1:20Speaker 3: for my water. It's so much better. And someone's like,
- 1:22Speaker 3: what's it called. She's like, oh, I can't remember. And
- 1:24Speaker 3: I'm listening to this conversation. I just lean over. Does
- 1:27Speaker 3: it happen to be liquid IV. She's like, yes, that's
- 1:29Speaker 3: the one.
- 1:29Speaker 2: I love it so much.
- 1:30Speaker 3: And I was like, well, use code fake doctors.
- 1:35Speaker 4: I thought you were using it as a pick For
- 1:37Speaker 4: a second, I forgot that you had a girlfriend.
- 1:38Speaker 2: I thought you were using it as a pickup line.
- 1:41Speaker 3: Always on the job, baby is liquid?
- 1:43Speaker 1: I mean, by the way, ultimately, this is a side
- 1:46Speaker 1: note digression. Ultimate Frisbee was invented at my high school,
- 1:51Speaker 1: Collumbia High School that's right in Maplewood, New Jersey, and
- 1:55Speaker 1: one of the inventors. One of the participants was Max Weinberg,
- 2:01Speaker 1: the famous Bruce Springsteen drummer slash Conan O'Brien sidekick drummer. Amazing,
- 2:09Speaker 1: he's still alive, right, Max wind Colledge, I think, so, okay,
- 2:13Speaker 1: can you please check me because I somehow got hit
- 2:15Speaker 1: in the head with Did Max Weinberg die? I hope not.
- 2:18Speaker 1: But there's a little bit of ultimate frisbee lore for
- 2:21Speaker 1: those of you out there. It was invented at Columbia
- 2:24Speaker 1: High School in Maplewood, New Jersey, and Max Weinberg, the
- 2:29Speaker 1: famous drummer, was apparently this is the ultimate frisbee part
- 2:33Speaker 1: was definitely true of being invented there, Max Weinberg being
- 2:39Speaker 1: one of the initial guys who came up with it.
- 2:41Speaker 1: I'm not positive about that, but that was Columbia High
- 2:44Speaker 1: School lore. Hell yeah, yeah, you guys. I got to
- 2:47Speaker 1: tell you the most. Oh he's seventy one, so he's
- 2:50Speaker 1: alive and well good, thank you. I saw two trailers
- 2:53Speaker 1: for a good Person, which was I was so.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Nervous you saw. Okay.
- 3:00Speaker 4: It wasn't like a surprise out of nowhere where you're
- 3:03Speaker 4: sitting down and it's like, oh shit, the commercials on.
- 3:05Speaker 1: It was like, you, that's not how that's not how
- 3:09Speaker 1: a studio rolls down, you know.
- 3:10Speaker 2: Okay, I'm just just just check it.
- 3:12Speaker 1: Just check it the way it works for those of
- 3:15Speaker 1: you who couldn't possibly know, because you have to be
- 3:17Speaker 1: directed a studio movie to know. When you direct a movie,
- 3:21Speaker 1: you're not in charge of the marketing campaign. You can
- 3:23Speaker 1: weigh in heavily and passionately, and but their marketing team
- 3:29Speaker 1: is gonna be, you know, gonna sell the product they bought.
- 3:32Speaker 1: You know, So if you have a cool studio, they
- 3:35Speaker 1: really want your input, they really want your suggestion. They
- 3:37Speaker 1: don't want to do anything it's gonna piss you off.
- 3:39Speaker 1: But they also are like you know, they're gonna they're
- 3:42Speaker 1: gonna make a trailer and then like test the trailer
- 3:44Speaker 1: to see like how people react. They're gonna do like
- 3:46Speaker 1: focus groups and like what did you feel after the trailer?
- 3:49Speaker 1: You know they're gonna do all that kind of stuff.
- 3:51Speaker 1: So the good news is they showed me beforehand, Like
- 3:55Speaker 1: just like any position in filmmaking, they show you like
- 3:59Speaker 1: people's credits, so they'll show you like, oh, here are
- 4:02Speaker 1: the here are the trailers. This this guy's cuke, and
- 4:06Speaker 1: like they're sick, you know, and like here this this
- 4:09Speaker 1: gal we're gonna also have. They don't just go to
- 4:11Speaker 1: one person, they'll like go out to multiple people and
- 4:14Speaker 1: they say, we've narrowed it down, and what do you
- 4:16Speaker 1: think of these people? And I'm like, oh my god,
- 4:18Speaker 1: those are like mega movies. Those are those trailers were sick? Yeah, yeah,
- 4:21Speaker 1: those are great. So anyway, and then eventually they send
- 4:24Speaker 1: you like they work on it on their own over
- 4:28Speaker 1: over at MGM, and then eventually after like the ones
- 4:31Speaker 1: I looked at. One said version nine, one said version five.
- 4:35Speaker 1: They really like get it to a point where they're
- 4:38Speaker 1: ready to show you. And I was so nervous because
- 4:41Speaker 1: a good person, like a lot of this stuff I
- 4:44Speaker 1: do is a mix of comedy and drama. And I
- 4:47Speaker 1: kept thinking, like, how do you sell this movie in
- 4:49Speaker 1: two and a half minutes because it's it's it's tricky,
- 4:52Speaker 1: and I was so nervous. And they were great. They
- 4:56Speaker 1: were really good. I'm gonna send them. I'll send them
- 4:59Speaker 1: to all three of you, and you guys can weigh in.
- 5:02Speaker 5: Honest, See, I have questions.
- 5:05Speaker 1: The script.
- 5:06Speaker 5: I've got images in my mind and now to actually see.
- 5:08Speaker 2: Them, and hey, everybody, kind of music did they use?
- 5:11Speaker 1: Uh? But I probably shouldn't say that yet. We have
- 5:13Speaker 1: an official release date, but I won't say it yet
- 5:15Speaker 1: just yet. What Donald, there's the music to the They
- 5:18Speaker 1: use music from the movie because I'm not gonna brag,
- 5:22Speaker 1: but I'm good at that. And they didn't they did
- 5:25Speaker 1: not need to seek outside of the film. How are you?
- 5:34Speaker 1: I miss you, I love you. I don't see enough
- 5:37Speaker 1: of you.
- 5:38Speaker 2: I tested positive for COVID yesterday.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Everybody's getting COVID. COVID is by the way. I saw
- 5:43Speaker 1: in the news that like hospitalizations are up, like LA
- 5:45Speaker 1: again is on fucking fire.
- 5:48Speaker 2: Yeah again.
- 5:50Speaker 4: My daughter had it and then now I'm pretty sure
- 5:54Speaker 4: I have it. I tested positive, but they're sending another
- 5:56Speaker 4: tech over at eleven thirty, so I'm gonna test again. Man,
- 6:00Speaker 4: But I mean, I have no symptoms whatsoever. But my
- 6:02Speaker 4: daughter had it and then I tested positive.
- 6:05Speaker 1: I know so many people, Donald are friends whose names
- 6:08Speaker 1: won't shout out, are like I have it again. I
- 6:11Speaker 1: have it again. Like one person we know has it
- 6:15Speaker 1: for the fourth fucking time now she's she's she's vaxxed
- 6:19Speaker 1: and boosted and has no symptoms, but like has it.
- 6:24Speaker 1: So that's to remind you people out there that you
- 6:28Speaker 1: can still get it. Obviously when you're vaxxed it boosted,
- 6:31Speaker 1: but you're gonna get you know, odds are you'll have
- 6:33Speaker 1: the sniffles and uh, and odds are you're not going
- 6:36Speaker 1: to the hospital.
- 6:37Speaker 2: But you know, here's the thing. I was playing Tennessee
- 6:39Speaker 2: the other day.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Did you even feel it?
- 6:42Speaker 4: And out of nowhere, I was like, damn, I don't
- 6:45Speaker 4: feel just I don't feel so great right now, Like
- 6:49Speaker 4: I feel kind of off, but I.
- 6:51Speaker 2: Got to finish this game.
- 6:52Speaker 4: I'm playing against, you know, some really good competitors, and
- 6:55Speaker 4: I don't want to let my teammate Dawn.
- 6:56Speaker 2: We're playing doubles, and uh.
- 7:01Speaker 4: Halfway through the game it goes away and I'm like, okay,
- 7:04Speaker 4: so maybe I'm just dehydrated and that's it.
- 7:07Speaker 2: I get home. I take this nap that lasts, you know,
- 7:11Speaker 2: a couple of hours. Now.
- 7:13Speaker 4: Granted, my daughter has this shit too, right, that has
- 7:16Speaker 4: it at this point, and so I take a nap.
- 7:20Speaker 4: I wake up from the nap in case he's like,
- 7:22Speaker 4: are you sick, I'm like, I don't think. So I
- 7:25Speaker 4: get tested the next day, which is yesterday, COVID positive. Shit,
- 7:36Speaker 4: But other than that, no symptoms. I can smell, I
- 7:39Speaker 4: can you.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Have no symptoms and maybe it'll last only a few days.
- 7:43Speaker 4: Well, my wife had When my wife had it, she
- 7:45Speaker 4: had it, it lasted a while, but she was sick
- 7:49Speaker 4: before she tested positive.
- 7:51Speaker 2: My son was sick before he tested positive.
- 7:54Speaker 4: My daughter tested positive like she had a fever all
- 7:57Speaker 4: of a sudden, and.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Then she's just going to keep going around. If you're
- 8:00Speaker 1: all sitting around the same house, I mean, with children,
- 8:03Speaker 1: you can't really separate, you know. And I know a
- 8:06Speaker 1: girl who has it for the fourth fucking time and
- 8:09Speaker 1: she's she can, like, you know, separate from her boyfriend.
- 8:13Speaker 1: It's you know, with kids, this is going to a
- 8:15Speaker 1: circle around the fucking house.
- 8:18Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm hoping it doesn't because it you know, the
- 8:21Speaker 4: last time it was in this house, only two people
- 8:23Speaker 4: got it. This time it's the other two that got it.
- 8:26Speaker 4: It's me and my daughter, we got it.
- 8:28Speaker 1: And so I'm sorry. Man.
- 8:31Speaker 2: It sucks, man, it really does, man.
- 8:33Speaker 4: And it's you know, these guys are scrambling to try
- 8:35Speaker 4: and fix this whole problem.
- 8:36Speaker 2: Over at history of the world.
- 8:38Speaker 4: And I mean, it'd be great if it was a
- 8:40Speaker 4: false positive, but I mean, the odds of it being
- 8:45Speaker 4: a false positive with me being in a house with
- 8:47Speaker 4: someone with covid are very slim.
- 8:51Speaker 1: Yeah, well, I love you and I send you positive
- 8:54Speaker 1: strength and energy and a big hug. Imagine I'm imagine
- 8:59Speaker 1: I'm cumbert Imagine I'm in like a bubble boy suit.
- 9:03Speaker 2: And you're hugging me through your bubble boys suit.
- 9:04Speaker 1: I'm hugging you through my bubble boy suit.
- 9:06Speaker 2: We could do it through the camera. All you got
- 9:08Speaker 2: to do is touch that.
- 9:09Speaker 1: We could do like, you know, touch the.
- 9:10Speaker 2: Camera, like in prison when the people want to touch other.
- 9:13Speaker 1: Yeah, through the glass to the camera. I'm doing it
- 9:19Speaker 1: like in every like in every prison movie.
- 9:21Speaker 2: Let's put our hands so precious.
- 9:23Speaker 1: I think people really must do that. I've never been
- 9:26Speaker 1: to visit anyone in prison, but I wonder if I
- 9:27Speaker 1: would do that.
- 9:29Speaker 4: I mean, that's probably the only connection that would break
- 9:32Speaker 4: me down. And I'd be like, don't you do that here?
- 9:35Speaker 1: I know, but no, I'm sure it's what It's instinctively
- 9:40Speaker 1: what you would do. But don't you think you'd also
- 9:42Speaker 1: feel like, oh my god, we're the people in the movie,
- 9:44Speaker 1: but instinctively do But.
- 9:45Speaker 2: And you're trying to feel somebody through the glass.
- 9:47Speaker 1: You know, what, have you ever visited anyone in prison?
- 9:50Speaker 6: Uh?
- 9:51Speaker 4: No, I've had friends go to jail and stuff like that.
- 9:53Speaker 4: But the last thing I want to do is see
- 9:56Speaker 4: anybody I know locked up in jail.
- 9:59Speaker 1: No. I but I think I actually am not.
- 10:03Speaker 2: I have friends that are of anyone I want to see.
- 10:05Speaker 1: I have friends that are very involved in prison reform
- 10:08Speaker 1: and uh and that's their goal and charity and cause,
- 10:15Speaker 1: and have invited me to go. They have a problem.
- 10:17Speaker 1: They have a program where you go and visit a
- 10:20Speaker 1: real fucking, no fucking around prison, and I want to
- 10:25Speaker 1: do it.
- 10:26Speaker 4: I'm gonna okay, So yeah that I have been to
- 10:29Speaker 4: I have been to prisons, and no, I've never been
- 10:32Speaker 4: on Scared.
- 10:33Speaker 1: Straight, Donald, you should be on. You should have been scared.
- 10:37Speaker 2: I wasn't. I wasn't a punk kid. I don't. I
- 10:39Speaker 2: didn't either.
- 10:40Speaker 1: I was a good boy.
- 10:40Speaker 2: I didn't need to I wasn't a punk kid.
- 10:42Speaker 1: I needed to be scared into a musical.
- 10:45Speaker 2: Right, they would have had no problem scared in my
- 10:48Speaker 2: ass straight.
- 10:49Speaker 1: They're like they're not, They're like, you're not. Your step
- 10:51Speaker 1: ball change is fucking bullshit.
- 10:56Speaker 4: I remember one time my fucking principal, my no, the
- 10:59Speaker 4: vice principal, because I was late and I was late.
- 11:02Speaker 2: Over and over again. This is public school.
- 11:04Speaker 4: He felt he needed the he needed to bring me
- 11:07Speaker 4: into his office and tear me down, and he did.
- 11:11Speaker 4: And I'm sitting there trying not to cry and ship
- 11:13Speaker 4: because I don't want anybody to know when you leave,
- 11:16Speaker 4: you know, you leave and you still got tears in
- 11:18Speaker 4: your eyes and sh They never let you clean yourself
- 11:20Speaker 4: up and ship, you know. And so I'm sitting there
- 11:24Speaker 4: trying not to cry. And he's given it to me too,
- 11:27Speaker 4: like he's given it to me, like he's trying to
- 11:29Speaker 4: get me there, you know what I mean. He's like
- 11:31Speaker 4: a drama teacher that's sitting there and you can't cry
- 11:33Speaker 4: in drama class, and they're trying to get you there.
- 11:36Speaker 4: This is what the principal was trying to do to
- 11:38Speaker 4: me in the principal the vice principals trying to do
- 11:39Speaker 4: to me in the principal's office.
- 11:40Speaker 2: And I'm like, it's not gonna work.
- 11:42Speaker 1: They probably are. They probably are key words they used
- 11:46Speaker 1: like disappointed.
- 11:47Speaker 2: Yeah, dude.
- 11:48Speaker 4: And then he hit me with one and that and
- 11:51Speaker 4: this is the only time, like in my life, I
- 11:54Speaker 4: had that.
- 11:58Speaker 2: One ticket.
- 12:00Speaker 1: Anzel is the master of the Slope.
- 12:04Speaker 2: That is a talent.
- 12:06Speaker 1: Denzel's like right eye, let right eye go, and then
- 12:12Speaker 1: his brain is like two, He's like just one.
- 12:19Speaker 4: I wonder, yeah, I wonder if that's purpose if that
- 12:22Speaker 4: was purposeful, or if that ship was an accident and
- 12:26Speaker 4: it just turned into iconic Yes to the iconic, iconic
- 12:31Speaker 4: moment that it is, because.
- 12:34Speaker 1: I think if Denzel was here and Joelle, please make
- 12:38Speaker 1: it happen'd like.
- 12:39Speaker 2: Alright, he'd be like all right, okay, all right, let's
- 12:42Speaker 2: get into it.
- 12:43Speaker 1: He would say that, I mean, I'm I'm all right.
- 12:47Speaker 1: I'm sure he would say that that was just real
- 12:50Speaker 1: and one of the finest moments of his career. And
- 12:53Speaker 1: it happened, and it happened on camera, and it's one
- 12:56Speaker 1: of the most memorable moments in cinema history. And and
- 12:59Speaker 1: then it became like something we we we particularly both
- 13:04Speaker 1: referenced because we both love him and we both love actors.
- 13:07Speaker 4: He's the well, I mean, when it comes to actors,
- 13:10Speaker 4: let's be honest, he's easily top five in the world.
- 13:13Speaker 1: Oh easily, well, live alive, definitely.
- 13:17Speaker 4: On stage, you can't There's not a lot of people
- 13:19Speaker 4: that could fuck with him.
- 13:20Speaker 2: And then a lot of people that.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Can and I love that he's become a statesman now,
- 13:26Speaker 1: I mean there was that.
- 13:28Speaker 2: He just has great he has. He's always been this
- 13:30Speaker 2: way on.
- 13:31Speaker 1: My Instagram because my Instagram knows I love him. They'll
- 13:35Speaker 1: like bring up like the search thing brings up like
- 13:39Speaker 1: you know, like Denzel like in an interview, like just
- 13:42Speaker 1: dropping knowledge and like so fucking well said m h
- 13:46Speaker 1: And I love it. I like watch it over and
- 13:50Speaker 1: over again.
- 13:50Speaker 4: Yeah, dude, he has some of the greatest you know
- 13:52Speaker 4: what else does look at some old Tupac shit. Holy cow, dude, Yo,
- 13:58Speaker 4: Pac had freaking knowledge.
- 14:02Speaker 2: For everybody to.
- 14:04Speaker 4: Absorb and never, you know, back in the day because
- 14:08Speaker 4: of all of the East Coast West Coast beef and
- 14:09Speaker 4: the hatred, nobody really ever got to hear that shit.
- 14:12Speaker 4: But thank goodness for this is one thing that's great
- 14:14Speaker 4: about the interwebs. Old shit can resurface, and when it's
- 14:19Speaker 4: positive stuff and you find great things like what you know,
- 14:22Speaker 4: some of the things that POC says, some of the
- 14:24Speaker 4: things that you know, Denzel said in his past interviews
- 14:27Speaker 4: and stuff. When you find these things, it's such a gem, man.
- 14:30Speaker 4: And you know, for that, I am happy that Twitter
- 14:33Speaker 4: and Instagram exists.
- 14:36Speaker 2: But the other things not so much. Man.
- 14:38Speaker 1: Speaking like my Twitter, it was announced Wonder to that
- 14:43Speaker 1: Warner Brothers has canceled Wonder Twins because of the mergers
- 14:49Speaker 1: and acquisitions they're going through, and I put on Twitter.
- 14:53Speaker 1: I very rarely post them, very rarely on Twitter, but
- 14:55Speaker 1: when I heard this news, I thought it was an
- 14:57Speaker 1: opportunity to let Toby Emerick, who's the head of Warner
- 15:02Speaker 1: Brothers and a very nice man. I've worked with them.
- 15:04Speaker 2: He is such a great guy, dude.
- 15:07Speaker 1: He oversaw going in style when he was at New Line,
- 15:10Speaker 1: and he is a mensch as we say, and he
- 15:14Speaker 1: is the head of Warner Brothers. And I let him
- 15:16Speaker 1: know on the Twitter that Donald and I are willing
- 15:19Speaker 1: and ready to step into the shoes of whoever had
- 15:22Speaker 1: the parts. And we would have to ask you a
- 15:28Speaker 1: question because I tagged Warner Brothers. I would like our
- 15:30Speaker 1: listeners if you're on the Twitter a why the fuck
- 15:34Speaker 1: you used toll on there? But if you happen to
- 15:36Speaker 1: be on there, please retweet it because I'm not kidding.
- 15:43Speaker 1: I think that there's a play to be had where
- 15:46Speaker 1: we do Wonder Twins, and I don't.
- 15:49Speaker 2: Think I don't think it's just that.
- 15:50Speaker 4: I think there's a play to be had where we
- 15:52Speaker 4: play superhero buddies.
- 15:54Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 15:55Speaker 1: I want to be your Wonder twin. There's a story.
- 15:57Speaker 2: There's no story girl one to a girl one to boy.
- 16:02Speaker 1: I know, but it's twenty twenty two. We're changing things up.
- 16:07Speaker 1: You know, people are all on different scales of sexuality.
- 16:11Speaker 1: I don't see why we couldn't do it.
- 16:15Speaker 2: Okay, that's what's saying.
- 16:16Speaker 1: I mean, there's a world, right cho Well, come on,
- 16:19Speaker 1: you're our pop culture goddess.
- 16:21Speaker 5: I would love to see you in that pixie cut.
- 16:24Speaker 3: She has fire.
- 16:27Speaker 2: Well, they both have pixie cuts, like the Donnie Osmond.
- 16:30Speaker 1: I would like to see Donald in a pixie cut. Listen.
- 16:33Speaker 1: I just think there's a world where you and I
- 16:36Speaker 1: are the Wonder Twins, and Toby Emrick knows it. Okay,
- 16:39Speaker 1: so we all know it, and I need you to
- 16:42Speaker 1: all on Twitter and read tweet it.
- 16:43Speaker 2: Here's the argument. I agree.
- 16:45Speaker 4: I think you and I together as the Wonder Twins
- 16:47Speaker 4: is probably the funniest version of a.
- 16:51Speaker 1: DC think think DC fans would revolt.
- 16:55Speaker 2: I don't think they would revolt. I think it.
- 16:57Speaker 4: I think it works in the DC world. The only
- 17:00Speaker 4: is the Wonder Twins were kids, they were young.
- 17:04Speaker 1: Alien that's agm.
- 17:05Speaker 4: Maybe we're maybe maybe it's agism maybe with maybe we've
- 17:11Speaker 4: aged and with the Wonder Twins, but it's years later after.
- 17:17Speaker 2: I don't listen.
- 17:17Speaker 1: I think the odds of this being a DC feature
- 17:20Speaker 1: like that's released in theaters. Let's be honest or slim.
- 17:24Speaker 1: But I don't know why. Like we can't be on
- 17:27Speaker 1: like HBO Max in some version.
- 17:29Speaker 2: Come on, dude, I'm not gonna lie man. I still
- 17:32Speaker 2: have dreams of us playing Blue Beetle in freaking.
- 17:36Speaker 1: I don't. I don't want to be on the c W.
- 17:40Speaker 2: Okay, no offense to the c W.
- 17:42Speaker 1: Did they've fucking canceled their whole lineup? Did you see
- 17:45Speaker 1: that everything? Even Riverdale?
- 17:48Speaker 2: Riverdale got canceled?
- 17:49Speaker 5: Every time that canceled, they.
- 17:50Speaker 1: Called it the Red Wedding from Game of Thrones.
- 17:55Speaker 2: Well what got caned? I don't know what got care?
- 17:57Speaker 2: I know legends got killed.
- 17:58Speaker 7: Well really pretty much all of the d everything got canceled.
- 18:01Speaker 2: Except Flash and.
- 18:04Speaker 6: No.
- 18:04Speaker 5: I think everything got canceled.
- 18:06Speaker 2: Bro, and they got it picked up.
- 18:09Speaker 5: I'm looking it up, looking it up.
- 18:11Speaker 2: Flash had gotten picked up already.
- 18:13Speaker 1: Flash might be picked up. But dude, they canceled like
- 18:16Speaker 1: like eight shows.
- 18:17Speaker 4: Flash and and and and Superman and Lois had gotten
- 18:20Speaker 4: picked up.
- 18:20Speaker 1: Mark Pettwitz, who's ahead of it, said, it's like a
- 18:23Speaker 1: it's like a rebuilding time, like like on a sports team. Donald,
- 18:27Speaker 1: you know they have a rebuilding year.
- 18:29Speaker 4: So what are they saying? Berlanni's not a part of
- 18:32Speaker 4: the CW anymore?
- 18:33Speaker 2: Is he not?
- 18:34Speaker 1: I don't know about I don't know what Brilanni's doing
- 18:37Speaker 1: or if he's going to take his deal elsewhere. I
- 18:38Speaker 1: have no idea. I'm just saying that they they're shaking
- 18:41Speaker 1: it up over.
- 18:41Speaker 2: There because I know his deals with Warner Brother.
- 18:44Speaker 1: It's a rebuilding year, Wow, Donald.
- 18:48Speaker 7: Yeah, so Charmed Dynasty, forty four hundred, in the Dark, Legacies,
- 18:53Speaker 7: Naomi Roswell, New Mexico, Riverdale, a lot of the Air Overse, Batwoman,
- 19:01Speaker 7: and DC's Legends of Tomorrow.
- 19:03Speaker 1: Bamn, the Red Wedding, Donald, Wow, that's all.
- 19:07Speaker 2: That's That's all brilante, isn't it.
- 19:11Speaker 5: I don't know if it's all brilliant.
- 19:14Speaker 1: But he'll be okay, he'll be.
- 19:16Speaker 2: Oh. I'm sure they have their all over the place.
- 19:19Speaker 1: I have a feeling I have a feeling. I don't know,
- 19:21Speaker 1: I haven't asked him this, I'm making this up, but
- 19:23Speaker 1: I feeling he's gonna make more like HBO Max content
- 19:26Speaker 1: that this is that's the same company, and I imagine
- 19:29Speaker 1: he's gonna, you know, keep his CW stuff going, but
- 19:33Speaker 1: but but make more HBO Max. And I'm kind of content.
- 19:37Speaker 2: Okay, So dude, that was my doctor though. Hit me up.
- 19:41Speaker 2: He's like, Yo, take the pill.
- 19:43Speaker 1: What's the pill?
- 19:44Speaker 2: So there's a pill.
- 19:45Speaker 4: That's out there right now that you know, cuts the
- 19:48Speaker 4: viral load down quite a bit and makes it so
- 19:51Speaker 4: that you don't get long COVID. They've talked about it
- 19:57Speaker 4: in news. I'm not exactly sure what it's called or
- 19:59Speaker 4: anything like that, but it it it lessens the chances
- 20:04Speaker 4: of long COVID, I should say. And so he's like,
- 20:09Speaker 4: I think you should take it. Like okay.
- 20:13Speaker 2: Uh He's like, uh.
- 20:16Speaker 1: So, well, listen to your medical professionals. Everyone, that's what
- 20:19Speaker 1: we have to say. Let's counting everybody. Five six stories
- 20:25Speaker 1: show we made about a bunch of.
- 20:32Speaker 6: Said, here's the stories, Nelson, So get here, ye here,
- 20:47Speaker 6: let's get it.
- 20:47Speaker 4: Why would anyone call an old man grandpa? Like what
- 20:51Speaker 4: the fuck dude, Like, how disrespectful can you be? Just
- 20:55Speaker 4: out the gate when you introduce yourself or when you're
- 20:58Speaker 4: asking for something. We open the show to Frisbee Yeah,
- 21:01Speaker 4: and it lands in front of Kelso and a young
- 21:05Speaker 4: man runs up to him and says, hey, Grandpa, a.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Little help little that's very rude.
- 21:10Speaker 4: I would have choked the kid out on the first
- 21:12Speaker 4: he gave the kid a warning. I would have choked
- 21:14Speaker 4: him out straight up right there, man, listen.
- 21:16Speaker 1: I am old timer either.
- 21:20Speaker 4: I am forty something years old. I'm about to be
- 21:22Speaker 4: fifty in a few years.
- 21:24Speaker 1: God willing, don't Russia.
- 21:25Speaker 2: Don't rush it, God willing. You know what I mean.
- 21:28Speaker 2: Look straight up, if you come, I don't give it.
- 21:33Speaker 4: The minute you turn over eighteen, you can catch these hands.
- 21:36Speaker 4: If you come at me with some bullshit, I don't
- 21:38Speaker 4: give a fuck, dude, straight up, Okay, straight up, disrespect me.
- 21:45Speaker 1: Like that, don't call Donald Grams.
- 21:48Speaker 2: You can catch the two piece and a biscuit.
- 21:51Speaker 1: This was directed by John Putch, who's a great director
- 21:55Speaker 1: that we all love. Written by Clarence Livingston. When did
- 21:58Speaker 1: he join us? Donald?
- 22:00Speaker 4: Because I think I believe he joined us this season
- 22:02Speaker 4: Season six, Black writer. Uh, I think he might have
- 22:05Speaker 4: went on to do the What's the Cleveland Show? I
- 22:08Speaker 4: think I think he went on to do Cleveland.
- 22:10Speaker 1: Yeah, oh, to create it or to work on it.
- 22:13Speaker 2: He created created it? Yeah, yeah, that's fancy writers.
- 22:19Speaker 1: Yeah, well then he didn't create it.
- 22:22Speaker 2: Well he I know that he went from Scrubs to that.
- 22:25Speaker 4: And and I don't know if he's still there.
- 22:28Speaker 1: But they don't still do Cleveland right because it was
- 22:32Speaker 1: a white guy doing Cleveland's voice right, and you can't
- 22:35Speaker 1: do that.
- 22:35Speaker 2: He can ask you a questions. His last name.
- 22:38Speaker 1: Really Steamer, probably because his last name was.
- 22:44Speaker 2: Brown, Cleveland Brown, not Cleveland Steamer.
- 22:48Speaker 1: Was the show?
- 22:49Speaker 4: Does anyone know what a Cleveland steamer ism?
- 22:54Speaker 2: It's when somebody ships on you, I believe, yes, am
- 22:58Speaker 2: I correct?
- 22:59Speaker 1: Yes, Yes, that's gross. I don't want to be shot
- 23:03Speaker 1: on during sex.
- 23:05Speaker 5: Or any time.
- 23:08Speaker 3: Sake.
- 23:08Speaker 1: Stop talking about your willings, all right, listen ready, Enid
- 23:12Speaker 1: is having some dementia issues, and she's packed a lunch
- 23:16Speaker 1: of a stapler and a golf ball for Kelso.
- 23:19Speaker 4: I think this is now Kelso's now starting to really
- 23:21Speaker 4: love his wife a little like at this point, does
- 23:25Speaker 4: he feel guilty because he's talked bad about her for
- 23:28Speaker 4: six seasons, and now we're starting to understand that she's
- 23:32Speaker 4: really she's close to on the way out.
- 23:35Speaker 1: Apparently, well, she's she's packing a stapler for lunch. She's
- 23:38Speaker 1: definitely not all the way there. Maggie is his friend
- 23:42Speaker 1: who he sees has a foot injury, some sort of
- 23:46Speaker 1: serious infection on her foot, and he says, we got
- 23:50Speaker 1: to get you in the hospital, and then we start
- 23:53Speaker 1: this whole dance of bringing her to the hospital. And
- 23:56Speaker 1: Jad explains of her voiceover that the doctors in the
- 24:00Speaker 1: hospital have a whole dance they do when someone has
- 24:04Speaker 1: no insurance and they want to try and sneak them
- 24:06Speaker 1: through the system. Bizarrely, of course, this is Kelso's friend,
- 24:10Speaker 1: but they're still hiding it from Kelso and because he's
- 24:14Speaker 1: mister you gotta get insurance, and he's a rule follower
- 24:17Speaker 1: about that. But they have this whole dance they do
- 24:20Speaker 1: when they find out that someone's just been deceased. Before
- 24:23Speaker 1: anyone finds out, everyone plays along and they put the
- 24:28Speaker 1: person in that person's bed so they can get their insurance.
- 24:32Speaker 2: So j just play along.
- 24:34Speaker 4: Yeah, freaking all of the interns play along. You just
- 24:37Speaker 4: hope that they all play along, and then you got
- 24:40Speaker 4: to find a surgeon who'll do it pro bono.
- 24:44Speaker 1: Yeah, any way, you're going to best. So they put
- 24:47Speaker 1: her in mister Rabinowitz's bed because he's just passed away.
- 24:51Speaker 1: We learn because he put his peep in an electrical
- 24:54Speaker 1: socket and.
- 24:54Speaker 2: You just don't do that.
- 24:55Speaker 1: And JD goes, you can't, you can't do that, I
- 25:00Speaker 1: can't do that, and then you do have to do it, uh,
- 25:04Speaker 1: pro a doctor, a surgeon will do a pro bono.
- 25:08Speaker 1: And then the time.
- 25:09Speaker 4: Comes in and Goes comes in and says, I've had
- 25:12Speaker 4: a pro bono all day, all morning, all morning.
- 25:16Speaker 2: Something might be wrong. Five yea.
- 25:20Speaker 1: By the way, the Todd has one of the funnies
- 25:21Speaker 1: stokes of the episode later on, which we'll get to.
- 25:26Speaker 1: Now we go to distract Kelso. We decide to go
- 25:30Speaker 1: I'm sorry again.
- 25:31Speaker 2: I know. Here we go again.
- 25:33Speaker 1: It's just controversial, but it is a part of Scrubs history.
- 25:36Speaker 1: We go to an Asian massage parlor and and Kelso
- 25:42Speaker 1: gets a full release in front of us, yes, which
- 25:45Speaker 1: is which felt one step out of character for him,
- 25:49Speaker 1: but he really doesn't.
- 25:51Speaker 2: Said wait, hold up, you said it felt out of character.
- 25:54Speaker 2: For him.
- 25:54Speaker 1: He didn't care if we watched.
- 25:56Speaker 2: Do you know how many times you do? You know
- 25:58Speaker 2: how many times j D and Turk kept run into Kelso?
- 26:01Speaker 1: Right, but he's never in a situation watched him getna
- 26:03Speaker 1: hand release?
- 26:04Speaker 2: Yeah he has. He says it will cost extra in
- 26:06Speaker 2: one episode.
- 26:08Speaker 4: In one episode he goes you and you can come in,
- 26:11Speaker 4: but it'll cost extra.
- 26:13Speaker 2: No, that's the episode that you directed.
- 26:15Speaker 1: No, No, that's the one where he says you can
- 26:16Speaker 1: come in, but you have to take your shoes off.
- 26:18Speaker 1: Right anyway, Listen, you can't not look because you have
- 26:34Speaker 1: a crank in your neck and you have to look.
- 26:37Speaker 2: I close my eyes at first, but then in.
- 26:39Speaker 1: The very last second you open one because I want
- 26:41Speaker 1: to watch that. You can't help yourself. This episode was
- 26:44Speaker 1: all over the place, by the way. Yeah, I mean
- 26:47Speaker 1: it really it really bounced. I mean it was funny,
- 26:50Speaker 1: but it ping Pong's all over the place with so
- 26:53Speaker 1: many different.
- 26:54Speaker 2: Story I mean there was what was it four storylines
- 26:58Speaker 2: in this one.
- 26:59Speaker 1: I don't know. Well. One of the main ones is
- 27:00Speaker 1: that Alexander Chaplin, who we call Sandy is his nickname,
- 27:04Speaker 1: is back as the drug addicts and Cox thinks there's
- 27:09Speaker 1: no way. He's holding a group for addicts, and Cox says,
- 27:15Speaker 1: and Elliott get in their classic battle over whether someone
- 27:19Speaker 1: can can truly defeat his addiction or whether whether he's
- 27:24Speaker 1: a liar or not. I don't think Cox doesn't believe
- 27:27Speaker 1: people can overcome addiction. But he thinks that this character
- 27:30Speaker 1: in particular, whose name is Sam, is a fucking liar.
- 27:34Speaker 4: He's a big time scam artist because and the only
- 27:37Speaker 4: way he knows this is because he got caught out
- 27:39Speaker 4: there the last time Sandy was on the show. He
- 27:44Speaker 4: uh cock, Jordan explains to Elliott, how wait, no, who
- 27:51Speaker 4: is it that get Jordan gets caught out there and
- 27:54Speaker 4: everybody explains how this guy's how this guy has done.
- 27:59Speaker 2: Them in and uh and uh, and he's just the one.
- 28:04Speaker 4: Cox is one of the first people that he's that
- 28:06Speaker 4: he did it too, and so he hates.
- 28:09Speaker 1: He just knows he's a liar. And no matter how
- 28:12Speaker 1: ye over and over, but he's always got a new
- 28:14Speaker 1: angle and this this new angle is that he holds
- 28:17Speaker 1: a group and that and so so so so. But
- 28:22Speaker 1: Elliott and Cox are are.
- 28:25Speaker 2: Both of them.
- 28:26Speaker 4: By the way, in the beginning of the show, Elliott
- 28:28Speaker 4: over the broken leg which was hilarious where they don't
- 28:31Speaker 4: even even acknowledge the fact that they that she he
- 28:35Speaker 4: trips her over a man with the broken in a
- 28:38Speaker 4: wheelchair with the broken leg. The man screams aha, and
- 28:42Speaker 4: they continued their conversation.
- 28:44Speaker 1: That was new nor Saudi, by the way, who was
- 28:47Speaker 1: one of our main stuntmen and uh and stunt coordinators.
- 28:51Speaker 1: There's so many of your favorite physical comedy jokes that
- 28:55Speaker 1: new Norsaudi UH choreographed.
- 28:58Speaker 4: And then and then she does the same thing to
- 29:02Speaker 4: Cox by a distract. She distracts Cox into walking into
- 29:07Speaker 4: a door.
- 29:09Speaker 1: Yeah, Johnny took a nice doorhead. But right before that,
- 29:12Speaker 1: you missed that Elliott has a new facial cream that's
- 29:15Speaker 1: made from the baby foreskins.
- 29:18Speaker 2: God, I didn't miss that. I did miss that.
- 29:24Speaker 1: He says, you look so beautiful, and she's like, you
- 29:26Speaker 1: never get recompiments. It must be because of my new
- 29:29Speaker 1: facial cream that's made from the foreskins of babies.
- 29:32Speaker 2: WHOA well, and then he I mean it's got to
- 29:39Speaker 2: be used for something right away.
- 29:42Speaker 1: You might as well if there is a nice cream
- 29:44Speaker 1: to be made out of them. I don't see any harm.
- 29:49Speaker 2: Joel will take all the mail for that Joel.
- 29:52Speaker 1: Joel, I'm sorry if that's problematic, but can I make.
- 29:56Speaker 7: One comment on mail really quick? I haven't done it yet,
- 30:01Speaker 7: but if you send me a picture of your child's
- 30:03Speaker 7: poop or your poop, it's going to be an automatic
- 30:05Speaker 7: block from now on.
- 30:07Speaker 1: I saw that on it on Twitter. Someone sent you
- 30:11Speaker 1: well well, because we talked about how what was cut
- 30:13Speaker 1: out of the musical episode was.
- 30:17Speaker 7: J.
- 30:17Speaker 2: I saw the letter J. Somebody sent the letter J.
- 30:24Speaker 7: You're trying to take it with an air of you're
- 30:25Speaker 7: trying to reach out. You feel friendly about the podcast.
- 30:28Speaker 2: Did You're trying to gross you out? So please never
- 30:32Speaker 2: send me pictures of ever ever.
- 30:35Speaker 4: Ever, don't send poop because I got some poop pictures
- 30:38Speaker 4: in my freaking Please.
- 30:43Speaker 1: Don't send if you have to, never see if you
- 30:47Speaker 1: poop a perfect letter J. Just just pat yourself on
- 30:49Speaker 1: the back.
- 30:50Speaker 2: I laughed at the ship because that ship was a
- 30:52Speaker 2: perfect letter J. It was like it was like a
- 30:55Speaker 2: fish hook almost, dude.
- 30:56Speaker 5: It was like it was like, and now we're talking
- 30:59Speaker 5: about all right.
- 31:01Speaker 1: All right, now they're getting the attention they want it.
- 31:03Speaker 1: Don't send Joel or any of us pictures of your
- 31:06Speaker 1: poop if it's a letter. J just say Zach and
- 31:12Speaker 1: Donald are proud of you to yourself, curly letter.
- 31:19Speaker 2: As long as it's a deuce.
- 31:21Speaker 1: We should we should take a break, and when we
- 31:25Speaker 1: come back, we're going to tell you and remind you
- 31:27Speaker 1: about the Austin TV Festival that Donald are gonna and

- 32:04Speaker 1: Like odds are we're gonna be hungover if we're going
- 32:06Speaker 1: to Austin for a Saturday night? Why making do this hungover?
- 32:11Speaker 2: All right? I you know that's how.

- 33:15Speaker 1: But I don't remember. You know, people work and they

- 33:19Speaker 1: We'll see.
- 33:21Speaker 2: All. I'm excited. I'm not gonna lie to you. I'm excited.
- 33:24Speaker 1: It's gonna be too short because I know what's gonna happen.
- 33:26Speaker 1: If it's Bill's gonna talk the whole time, We're not
- 33:30Speaker 1: gonna be able to fit a word in edgewise.
- 33:32Speaker 2: Right, Well, I mean, isn't that what we want? Though?
- 33:35Speaker 4: Don't we want Bill to? I mean, he did create
- 33:38Speaker 4: the show. He does have the best perspective, then probably.
- 33:41Speaker 1: And he's funny as hell, and we have a podcast,
- 33:43Speaker 1: so we'll let him talk.
- 33:45Speaker 4: He's probably, he's probably, if you ask me, one of
- 33:48Speaker 4: the funniest people I know.
- 33:51Speaker 1: He's definitely easily, easily one of the funniest people.
- 33:55Speaker 2: In my life. Easily.
- 33:56Speaker 1: I don't think you signed one of the biggest deals
- 33:58Speaker 1: in TV comedy to you if you're not one of
- 34:01Speaker 1: the funniest people.
- 34:02Speaker 2: It'd be weird if you did, wouldn't it.
- 34:05Speaker 1: Well, there are all those people that are funny, but
- 34:06Speaker 1: they're like not funny in person. Probably.
- 34:11Speaker 4: That was the first thing I remember when I met Bill.
- 34:13Speaker 4: I was like, holy shit, this dude is just always funny,
- 34:17Speaker 4: Like he could find the comedy in anything.
- 34:20Speaker 1: Yeah, let's get back to the show Scrubs that the
- 34:23Speaker 1: man created. So, by the way, I want a little
- 34:27Speaker 1: little trivia. By the way, two Scrubs wiki things. One
- 34:31Speaker 1: thing I learned that was helpful. This is the last
- 34:33Speaker 1: appearance Sandy aka Alexander Chaplin. This is his fine This
- 34:39Speaker 1: is the last appearance of any Spin City cast member
- 34:42Speaker 1: on the television show Scrubs.
- 34:44Speaker 4: Until the season eight finale, Right, maybe aren't some of
- 34:50Speaker 4: them in the hallway or no.
- 34:52Speaker 1: That's a good question. But according to Scrubs wiki is
- 34:54Speaker 1: the last appearance, so it made.
- 34:55Speaker 2: It's pretty clear Trevor doesn't know everything.
- 34:57Speaker 1: Well, one thing I want to correct with Trevor, that's
- 35:00Speaker 1: on here, Dude. I know that you're probably busy with
- 35:02Speaker 1: other things and you've moved on from this, but it
- 35:05Speaker 1: says something very weird. Oh, I gotta go, I gotta,
- 35:07Speaker 1: I gotta go back to it. There's a mistake, okay, Trevor.
- 35:11Speaker 1: So if you're listening, if you're still with us, I
- 35:14Speaker 1: don't mean like alive, I mean if you're still like
- 35:16Speaker 1: listening to the show. There's a mistake. That's weird, it said.
- 35:31Speaker 1: In the trivia section, it says this is the second
- 35:35Speaker 1: of only two episodes to be filmed in front of
- 35:38Speaker 1: a live studio audience. This episode was most definitely not
- 35:43Speaker 1: filmed in front of a live studios I mean, how
- 35:46Speaker 1: would you have filmed this in front of a live
- 35:48Speaker 1: stity audience. The only time we did that was the
- 35:51Speaker 1: sitcom spoof we did, which was filmed in front of
- 35:53Speaker 1: a live studio audience, and.
- 35:55Speaker 2: That's the only.
- 35:57Speaker 1: And what does this mean? This is the only Scrubs
- 35:59Speaker 1: episode to how the save ems catchphrase ko chung? Does
- 36:03Speaker 1: anyone know what that means?
- 36:04Speaker 2: No chung.
- 36:07Speaker 1: I don't know what save ems is, but they, I guess,
- 36:11Speaker 1: have a catchphrase called ko chung. And somebody says ku chung.
- 36:14Speaker 1: I don't know if anyone says ku chung. I just
- 36:17Speaker 1: wanted to let you know those little bits of trivia.
- 36:20Speaker 2: What the hell is Save thems?
- 36:22Speaker 7: Joelle two thousand and three through two thousand and six
- 36:25Speaker 7: animated television show.
- 36:27Speaker 1: Yeah, do you remember anyone saying ku Chung?
- 36:30Speaker 5: I don't remember Save thems?
- 36:31Speaker 2: Let's ships. I don't remember the show either.
- 36:34Speaker 7: Dude, But the characters are not bringing up But that's
- 36:37Speaker 7: a long run for a kids show, though, like three years.
- 36:40Speaker 1: Well maybe someone said ku chung.
- 36:44Speaker 7: We're gonna have to assume that they did. I don't
- 36:46Speaker 7: even remember hearing Kua chung in this episode.
- 36:47Speaker 4: Like I'm trying to say, Trevor Wickie don't know everything, yo,
- 36:51Speaker 4: he ain't got the answers.
- 36:52Speaker 1: Y'all listen, some people are allowed, not just Trevor or
- 36:56Speaker 1: you have to be a member. I'm sure, but other
- 36:58Speaker 1: people are allowed to add things. And Trevor is the moderator.
- 37:01Speaker 1: He's the one who's gonna rectify the studio audience thing.
- 37:05Speaker 1: All right. Moving on, Lloyd is in the meeting that
- 37:08Speaker 1: Sandy is holding for addicts.
- 37:09Speaker 4: Yes, Lloyd is played by Mike Schwartz, one of our
- 37:13Speaker 4: comedy writers.
- 37:14Speaker 1: Our favorite writers.
- 37:15Speaker 2: Was he was he on? That's a good question. Was
- 37:18Speaker 2: Mike on the show the entire run?
- 37:21Speaker 1: Yes?
- 37:22Speaker 2: And if so, and if he wasn't, did Lloyd he
- 37:25Speaker 2: must come back? Yeah? Did Lloyd come back? And he
- 37:28Speaker 2: just did cameos later on, how did you get good?
- 37:32Speaker 2: Bless you?
- 37:33Speaker 1: You better not have given me COVID when I did
- 37:37Speaker 1: the jail cell hold up hand thing through the camera.
- 37:41Speaker 1: The janitor wants to become a baby broker. There's a
- 37:44Speaker 1: lot of weird shit with the janitor in this episode. Okay,
- 37:46Speaker 1: he's found rowdy. Now, if you recall when.
- 37:52Speaker 4: He traced no, he traced Carla steps and found rowdy.
- 37:57Speaker 1: Yes, if you recall Carla lost round. The janitor turned
- 38:01Speaker 1: in his squirrel collection.
- 38:04Speaker 2: But so the janitor is the one that named the
- 38:06Speaker 2: dog Steven.
- 38:07Speaker 1: Also, yes, the janitor. The janitor turned in his taxidermy
- 38:13Speaker 1: and squirrel collection, so.
- 38:15Speaker 2: A taxidermy dog.
- 38:16Speaker 1: Yes, we could get Stephen and fool.
- 38:18Speaker 4: Us because he felt bad about whatever happened with him
- 38:22Speaker 4: and Carla at that time.
- 38:23Speaker 1: Right now, the janitor is trying to.
- 38:27Speaker 4: Know because it turns out that Carla lied to the
- 38:30Speaker 4: janitor and she was the reason why the dog went missing.
- 38:34Speaker 4: And so the janitor has retraced Carla Stepps.
- 38:37Speaker 2: And found Rowdy. He found Rowdy.
- 38:41Speaker 1: So now we have a situation where U Churk is
- 38:44Speaker 1: expressed to Carla how important and Rowdy is to be
- 38:47Speaker 1: to him and JD and and Carla realizes that some
- 38:53Speaker 1: of this blackmail that the janitor's talking about she might
- 38:56Speaker 1: have to get into, including she teaches him how to
- 38:58Speaker 1: salsa dance.
- 39:00Speaker 4: Throws her into a window. That's Judy Bank, see.
- 39:06Speaker 1: There, Judy, Judy being funny. We play a game with
- 39:14Speaker 1: where we we tricked Ted. It's pretty dangerous still game
- 39:19Speaker 1: we play. We put roller skates on Steve Steven and
- 39:24Speaker 1: we pull him with a red string across and Ted
- 39:27Speaker 1: yells ghost dog goes dog.
- 39:30Speaker 2: And crash after he crashes into electrical.
- 39:34Speaker 1: Uh what the tower?
- 39:37Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, and then that crashes into a into a
- 39:43Speaker 4: the generator, the generator of the hospital, and we have
- 39:46Speaker 4: a backup generator, thank goodness.
- 39:48Speaker 2: But JD and Turk are responsible for vandalism pretty much well,
- 39:53Speaker 2: and a car accident.
- 39:55Speaker 1: A car accident that could have killed Ted and knocking
- 39:59Speaker 1: out the power. We're all hospital.
- 40:01Speaker 4: Yeah, they could have killed more than just Ted and
- 40:04Speaker 4: and and doctor Kelso says, relax, everybody, we have a
- 40:07Speaker 4: backup generator. And the backup generator kicks in and he goes, oh,
- 40:10Speaker 4: thank god because I was just bluffing.
- 40:12Speaker 1: Yeah, and then he and then he yells at Ted
- 40:15Speaker 1: for how much it's going to cost. And he says,
- 40:17Speaker 1: and don't try and blame this on the fact that
- 40:19Speaker 1: I paved over that Indian burial ground. We needed the
- 40:23Speaker 1: parking spaces.
- 40:25Speaker 4: It's a poultry guy situation going on there. What poultry guys.
- 40:29Speaker 4: That's poltrgey'st was about.
- 40:31Speaker 1: Well, that's what maybe Kelso things happened. He doesn't know
- 40:35Speaker 1: about the ghost dog trick we pulled. So another another
- 40:41Speaker 1: thing is that everyone steals scrubs in the hospital. So
- 40:47Speaker 1: Kelso's kissed about that light item.
- 40:48Speaker 4: Okay, so how it starts is who steals it first. Well,
- 40:55Speaker 4: how it ends is ridiculous.
- 40:57Speaker 1: How it starts the I as shower our curtain.
- 41:00Speaker 4: You have towels, a washcloth, dad, harvyah.
- 41:06Speaker 2: Just like just straight up scrubs. So who's at start
- 41:12Speaker 2: with somebody?
- 41:13Speaker 1: I forgot who else? Who else?
- 41:15Speaker 4: And it just gets more and more ridiculous as it goes.
- 41:17Speaker 4: So it starts with Ted where he comes home and
- 41:20Speaker 4: he's like.
- 41:21Speaker 2: Mom, someone tried to die on me again. But I
- 41:24Speaker 2: wouldn't let him. I wouldn't let him.
- 41:27Speaker 1: You learned that all this time has been lying to
- 41:29Speaker 1: his mom that he's a doctor at the hospital.
- 41:32Speaker 4: And then and then, and then it turns out that
- 41:34Speaker 4: nurse Roberts is using the scrubs for the choir.
- 41:39Speaker 2: So the choir and then she has on the really
- 41:42Speaker 2: nice scrubs in the middle. While everybody has.
- 41:43Speaker 4: On the solid colors, she has on her her her
- 41:47Speaker 4: nurse color.
- 41:48Speaker 1: So she stands out.
- 41:49Speaker 4: So she stands out in the choir. And then it
- 41:51Speaker 4: cuts to you, or I should say, cuts to j
- 41:54Speaker 4: D who has a shower curtain made out of I'm
- 42:00Speaker 4: sewn together. This fucker took time instead of calling out.
- 42:04Speaker 1: And.
- 42:06Speaker 8: Then I'm wearing I'm wearing like I'm wearing like a towel,
- 42:12Speaker 8: a towel that's been made out of scrubs sewn together
- 42:16Speaker 8: and around my waist, and then I'm using a singular
- 42:18Speaker 8: scrub top to dry my hair.
- 42:20Speaker 2: Yes, that one got ridiculous. That one got ridiculous, and
- 42:31Speaker 2: then the other fantasy that got right.
- 42:33Speaker 1: Wait, don't go there yet, because that is one of
- 42:35Speaker 1: the funniest things. That's one of the funniest scrubbs fantasies
- 42:39Speaker 1: I've seen.
- 42:39Speaker 2: Oh my god, that ship got ridiculous. Dude, that ship
- 42:42Speaker 2: got ridiculous.
- 42:47Speaker 1: Now, this was pretty funny. Sam says, you don't know
- 42:51Speaker 1: how hard it is to stay straight, and Rob comes
- 42:57Speaker 1: out of the room behind him. Episode Todd comes out
- 43:01Speaker 1: of the room, checks out his ass and goes.
- 43:04Speaker 4: There's something like tell me about it, brother, But he
- 43:06Speaker 4: says brother at the end as he and then gives
- 43:09Speaker 4: him the head nod.
- 43:12Speaker 1: Like we could fuck, confirming again that the Todd is
- 43:16Speaker 1: down for.
- 43:16Speaker 2: Anything, any action, anything, any action.
- 43:20Speaker 1: Yeah, the janitor. So he finds Rowdy.
- 43:26Speaker 2: And he's trying to blackmail Carla.
- 43:29Speaker 1: Trying to blackmailt Carla, you out of.
- 43:31Speaker 2: Nowhere with the sneak hug Holy shit that man.
- 43:33Speaker 1: Well, there's this whole Gray's anatomy. I guess crazy natim
- 43:36Speaker 1: mus have been very hot now and and and Bill
- 43:38Speaker 1: probably thought that they were copying us, so it was
- 43:41Speaker 1: time to make fun of them because he's they did.
- 43:45Speaker 2: Something right, because that ship is still on the air.
- 43:50Speaker 1: Yeah, Season five hundred, never have to work money again?
- 43:55Speaker 1: How paid? Must Ellen Pompeo be so paid? Ellen POMPEII
- 44:00Speaker 1: is like, might be might be touched touching Oprah money?
- 44:04Speaker 2: It's close. I don't. I don't know if it's that close.
- 44:07Speaker 4: I mean Oprah got money where she could lose one
- 44:10Speaker 4: hundred million and be like I did.
- 44:12Speaker 1: I just think Ellen Pompeo, if you know that long,
- 44:17Speaker 1: I mean, she must be one of the highest paid
- 44:19Speaker 1: actresses in the history of television.
- 44:21Speaker 4: Her and uh suv uh Mariska.
- 44:27Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, but Ellen Pompeo.
- 44:32Speaker 4: They got to be the most paid people on television. Yeah, definitely,
- 44:35Speaker 4: they have to be if they're not just something really.
- 44:38Speaker 1: Wrong the system they done because Ellen Pompeo just has
- 44:40Speaker 1: decided like she's a very good actress and she decided
- 44:43Speaker 1: to just stay forever. And the Mariska and Rishka is
- 44:48Speaker 1: a very good actress. If you make that decision. Somebody said, look,
- 44:52Speaker 1: we're going to back up the Brinks truck.
- 44:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 44:57Speaker 4: They were like, you commit to twenty years of and
- 45:00Speaker 4: we're gonna freaking give you that money.
- 45:02Speaker 1: You were not gonna do anything else, but you are
- 45:04Speaker 1: gonna have forty seven homes.
- 45:07Speaker 2: Right deep, We shure you where to drop that shit.
- 45:12Speaker 2: I got a money bin. I would be Scrooge mc
- 45:15Speaker 2: duck out.
- 45:16Speaker 4: That motherfucker just swimming in my shit, swimming on hard
- 45:19Speaker 4: coin on gold coins.
- 45:22Speaker 1: All right, listen, So he says Grey's Anatomy. Oh, one
- 45:26Speaker 1: of the things he hates is Grey's Anatomy wraps up
- 45:29Speaker 1: every episode with a cheesy voiceover that ties together all
- 45:33Speaker 1: the storylines, which is my least favorite device on television.
- 45:37Speaker 4: Cock says, to go into commercial break, but it has
- 45:41Speaker 4: to be vague too.
- 45:43Speaker 1: Yeah, vague, And then and then JD walks by going
- 45:49Speaker 1: into the commercial break saying the most vague, nonsensical yeah
- 45:54Speaker 1: thing ever scrubs WICKI had it. JD's narration is. And
- 45:57Speaker 1: so in the end, I knew what Elliott said about
- 46:00Speaker 1: the way things were had forever changed the way we
- 46:02Speaker 1: all thought about them. And Bill himself has made lots
- 46:08Speaker 1: of jokes about how sometimes it was late and the
- 46:10Speaker 1: voiceovers just made absolutely no sense.
- 46:14Speaker 4: Yeah, did you notice Beard faces back in pharmaceutical Was
- 46:18Speaker 4: he there?
- 46:18Speaker 2: Yeah? He was there.
- 46:19Speaker 1: He's a pharmacist. So Laverne punches a hole in the
- 46:25Speaker 1: window to try and get rowdy, and she screams her
- 46:30Speaker 1: name like Leroy Jenkins.
- 46:33Speaker 2: Like Lero Leroy Jenkins.
- 46:37Speaker 4: Some people might not know who Leroy Jenkins is because
- 46:39Speaker 4: you're a little bit younger than us. But a long
- 46:43Speaker 4: time ago, there was this game called The World of
- 46:46Speaker 4: Warcraft and it became so freaking popular.
- 46:50Speaker 1: And Daniel, you must have played a lot of it.
- 46:53Speaker 3: I only played it recently, but like, yes, it was
- 46:56Speaker 3: very popular, and that was at the peak of its heyday.
- 46:58Speaker 4: Sideway sidebar, fucking Never Winter Nights is on iOS now
- 47:04Speaker 4: and you can play the overhead version of Never Winter
- 47:08Speaker 4: Nights and it looks like Dan really dead ass, dead ass.
- 47:11Speaker 4: So on my iPhone, I just picked it up. Never
- 47:14Speaker 4: Went to Nights is out and it's all look all
- 47:19Speaker 4: of the campaigns and there's like almost one hundred of them,
- 47:22Speaker 4: absolutely stoner killed. But I need something to do while
- 47:26Speaker 4: I'm laid up in bed with covid.
- 47:28Speaker 1: Are you're so psyched you got COVID? You're like, I'm
- 47:30Speaker 1: just gonna get hime and play video games.
- 47:32Speaker 5: What a dream?
- 47:34Speaker 3: Sounds kind of cool?
- 47:35Speaker 2: I mean, isn't that what you're supposed to do?
- 47:38Speaker 1: Sorry, honey, I've got COVID.
- 47:41Speaker 2: My wife, so you can't. So you can't go to
- 47:43Speaker 2: the thing to night.
- 47:44Speaker 1: I'm like, the doctor said I should smoke weed and
- 47:48Speaker 1: play video games.
- 47:50Speaker 4: She said, she said, So you can't go to the
- 47:51Speaker 4: kids basketball game this weekend. I am bummed about that.
- 47:54Speaker 4: But you know what, I just found out that I
- 47:56Speaker 4: could watch that bad boy over the Yeah, no doubt
- 48:00Speaker 4: the camera in the gym. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm gonna
- 48:04Speaker 4: watch its.
- 48:06Speaker 2: Yeah, your phone he plays Anyway.
- 48:10Speaker 1: To make a very long story short for those who
- 48:12Speaker 1: don't know anything about video games, Daniel, why don't you
- 48:15Speaker 1: summarize what happened?
- 48:17Speaker 2: Okay, so let me puish what I was saying.
- 48:19Speaker 1: I'm sorry.
- 48:20Speaker 4: So, so there was a game called The World of Warcraft.
- 48:24Speaker 4: And what happens in the game is it's an online
- 48:28Speaker 4: multiplayer game, and some of the missions that you do
- 48:33Speaker 4: require strategy, and so these and and and and you're
- 48:38Speaker 4: going up against it's like clan verse clan. So it's
- 48:40Speaker 4: like gigantic groups of people going on.
- 48:43Speaker 1: How many people were live in this group? Would you imagine?
- 48:47Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 48:48Speaker 4: I would say, like to make it funny, I'm gonna
- 48:51Speaker 4: guess like a couple of hundred people, but realistically probably
- 48:54Speaker 4: forty to fifty people something like that.
- 48:56Speaker 1: I'm down thirteen thirteen.
- 49:00Speaker 2: Yeah, that's not funny.
- 49:03Speaker 1: It's still a lot of people you ruined, ruined, you
- 49:05Speaker 1: ruined Donald's. But we like to be accurate on the show.
- 49:08Speaker 3: Look, anybody who's going to be listening to this who
- 49:10Speaker 3: knows the stories and were sitting there like it wasn't that, man?
- 49:13Speaker 1: Is it wasn't that that?
- 49:14Speaker 3: You're talking peak nerd shp where someone's gonna push their
- 49:16Speaker 3: glasses up and say.
- 49:17Speaker 2: Are we going to believe that?
- 49:19Speaker 7: It?
- 49:21Speaker 1: Alright? Sweeting seconds, soaking so mad.
- 49:24Speaker 4: So there's thirteen people and they've worked on this strategy
- 49:29Speaker 4: that they're gonna do for days, like days like.
- 49:33Speaker 1: Wait a second, I have a question that either one
- 49:36Speaker 1: of you might be able to answer. Did they like
- 49:38Speaker 1: did they stop and like meet up again?
- 49:40Speaker 2: Or they know they're all they're all meeting up before
- 49:44Speaker 2: this strategy.
- 49:44Speaker 1: They're gonna they finally made it to a megaboss and they.
- 49:48Speaker 4: They're gonna they're gonna go into this Okay, remember what
- 49:52Speaker 4: we discussed.
- 49:53Speaker 2: We discussed all of this ship.
- 49:54Speaker 1: They have a plan.
- 49:56Speaker 2: We have a the thirteen of us are gonna do
- 49:58Speaker 2: some epic ship right now.
- 50:01Speaker 1: No, no, no, if you what what happens now? You
- 50:06Speaker 1: have to restart? If you don't like defeat this guy,
- 50:09Speaker 1: Like how a bad? How far back to you?
- 50:11Speaker 4: I don't know if you can do that? I don't
- 50:13Speaker 4: know if you can do it again? Like there's certain things.
- 50:15Speaker 1: And Daniel, what's that? What's that you can?
- 50:18Speaker 3: But the idea is that you it's a dungeon and
- 50:21Speaker 3: you're going all the way through it, part by part
- 50:23Speaker 3: by part, and if you die, you go all the
- 50:26Speaker 3: way back to and your character spawned way outside the dungeon.
- 50:31Speaker 1: Now, Daniel, were these people? Were these thirteen people pausing
- 50:34Speaker 1: and like sleeping or were they like doing it all
- 50:36Speaker 1: nighters and ship?
- 50:37Speaker 3: Usually usually they're pulling all nighters and doing it. But also,
- 50:40Speaker 3: you know, I hate to say it, but this is
- 50:43Speaker 3: also fake, like Lera Jenkins, the whole, the whole thing,
- 50:46Speaker 3: it's it's fake, like the whole thing was composed. It's
- 50:48Speaker 3: like it was like a very early internet. Mean, but
- 50:50Speaker 3: the whole thing is fake, so why.
- 50:54Speaker 2: Come out story? Nobody's gonna give us ship now, It's classic.
- 51:01Speaker 3: It is a classic.
- 51:02Speaker 2: I never knew it.
- 51:03Speaker 1: I never knew it wasn't real until now. And I
- 51:05Speaker 1: feel sad you even let Donald finish the story.
- 51:08Speaker 2: I mean you pretty much anyway.
- 51:10Speaker 9: So since everybody knows, since everybody knows, fucking story, since
- 51:15Speaker 9: everybody knows, fuck story, Daniel cut it.
- 51:18Speaker 2: Le Verne punches the window and does the Leroy Jenkins
- 51:21Speaker 2: scream no the guy done. No, that's it, that's it.
- 51:25Speaker 1: No, Daniel ruined the story. I'm trying to explain it,
- 51:28Speaker 1: because Daniel, you should have at least let him finish
- 51:31Speaker 1: before you said.
- 51:32Speaker 3: It's just to me to ask a question.
- 51:34Speaker 2: I was just conte let's get into this double fantasy. Please.
- 51:38Speaker 2: I'm sad about it being I want to get into
- 51:40Speaker 2: this double fantasy now.
- 51:41Speaker 1: Man, he's gonna cry. I'm just sad about it being faked.
- 51:45Speaker 2: Anyway, for those the story was invested in the story,
- 51:48Speaker 2: just now.
- 51:48Speaker 1: This guy, they're already to their campaign, and he instead
- 51:52Speaker 1: runs into the villain and screams leave Roy Jenkins and
- 51:56Speaker 1: they're all like, Leroy, what.
- 51:58Speaker 2: Are you doing, you fucking ass Oh, you're ruinin a campaign.
- 52:00Speaker 1: We've been up all night And at the time we
- 52:03Speaker 1: all thought it was hilarious because we thought this dude
- 52:06Speaker 1: was just sabotaging all their efforts and it was funny. Now, Danil,
- 52:10Speaker 1: since you've already ruined the story, Yes, it was just
- 52:12Speaker 1: a set up joke. It wasn't real.
- 52:14Speaker 3: Yeah, well, because when you're when you're watching it, they're
- 52:16Speaker 3: they're going through all these numbers. They're really making it
- 52:19Speaker 3: seem like you know that they're like, Okay, well this
- 52:21Speaker 3: has to happen, then this has to happen. Then this
- 52:22Speaker 3: has to happen, and like, yeah, there's a lot of
- 52:24Speaker 3: that kind of discussion before you go in into a
- 52:26Speaker 3: boss like that or going in you know, do a
- 52:28Speaker 3: an interaction like this, But none of the numbers they're
- 52:31Speaker 3: saying are real. All of like the calculations they're doing beforehand,
- 52:34Speaker 3: like it's all bullshit. They're just trying to set it
- 52:36Speaker 3: up to make it seem like it's like this super
- 52:38Speaker 3: super calculated thing, and it still is like people did
- 52:41Speaker 3: all of this shit. But Leroy, the whole the whole
- 52:44Speaker 3: thing here.
- 52:45Speaker 1: It was like it was a It was a I
- 52:46Speaker 1: hate when I find out things I like or fake.
- 52:49Speaker 3: The best the best part is at the end when
- 52:50Speaker 3: they're like, way to go, Leroy, and he just goes,
- 52:52Speaker 3: at least I have chicken. No, it's the end of it.
- 52:55Speaker 3: He's eating fried chicken in the entire time.
- 52:57Speaker 2: Oh my god. So Leroy Jenkins is black.
- 53:01Speaker 1: Well, no, I don't.
- 53:03Speaker 3: I don't know that.
- 53:04Speaker 2: I mean, it's name.
- 53:05Speaker 4: Hold on, now, the motherfucker's name is Lee Roy Jenkins.
- 53:11Speaker 4: If that ain't the blackest name I ever heard in
- 53:12Speaker 4: my life, that ain't. Come on, Joel, you know that's
- 53:16Speaker 4: a black ass.
- 53:16Speaker 2: Name right there.
- 53:17Speaker 5: It does sound very black.
- 53:19Speaker 2: I don't know, it does sound very black. That is black.
- 53:23Speaker 2: I want to meet a white Leroy Jenkins.
- 53:25Speaker 1: I don't think there's too many white people naming their
- 53:27Speaker 1: d Leroy Jenkins, but maybe.
- 53:29Speaker 2: Well there's Ken Jenkins. Ken is the first Jenkins I
- 53:31Speaker 2: haven't met that was white.
- 53:32Speaker 1: Yeah, you've always said Jenkins was a popular African American name.
- 53:35Speaker 2: I that's just like, I'm sorry.
- 53:39Speaker 4: When I was growing up watching it, Living Color or
- 53:41Speaker 4: any of those shows, Jenkins is always the name of
- 53:44Speaker 4: the black character that.
- 53:47Speaker 1: Laverne yells Laverne roberts and punches a hole in the
- 53:50Speaker 1: window while trying.
- 53:51Speaker 2: All Leroy Jenkins, let's take a break.
- 53:54Speaker 1: We'll be right back after these fine words. Okay. Then
- 54:04Speaker 1: we learned that Lloyd reveals that to get into Sam's class,
- 54:08Speaker 1: you just have to bring in any drugs you have
- 54:11Speaker 1: at home so you're not tempted, which ruins Sam's scam
- 54:16Speaker 1: and Cocks slow claps at the back because he's proven
- 54:21Speaker 1: that this guy is a compulsive, fucking fraud liar.
- 54:25Speaker 4: Yeah, well he's also getting He's also shooting up with
- 54:28Speaker 4: his po so there's that too.
- 54:31Speaker 1: All right, let's get into this fantasy. I it is
- 54:34Speaker 1: so funny. It's a fantasy within a fantasy, which I
- 54:37Speaker 1: always appreciate.
- 54:39Speaker 2: So do I. So this one, it goes, so we're
- 54:42Speaker 2: gonna save this young lady's foot.
- 54:44Speaker 1: She's not young.
- 54:46Speaker 4: I mean, we just started off this whole fucking show
- 54:50Speaker 4: with being respectful and then I.
- 54:54Speaker 1: Was a twenty three year old. She's a middle aged woman.
- 54:59Speaker 4: Okay, So we're gonna save this woman's foot. And she
- 55:04Speaker 4: goes and she goes, do I have to have surgery?
- 55:08Speaker 4: And we're like, yeah, but you would You wouldn't believe
- 55:11Speaker 4: what it was like five years ago. And it cuts
- 55:14Speaker 4: to five I guess this is supposed to be five
- 55:16Speaker 4: years now.
- 55:17Speaker 1: No, no, it doesn't say five years ago, even even
- 55:19Speaker 1: even just a while ago, okay or something like that.
- 55:22Speaker 1: But then it cuts to like medieval times.
- 55:24Speaker 4: So first it cuts to medieval times and you're standing
- 55:26Speaker 4: there and we're talking like we're Shakespearean must come.
- 55:31Speaker 1: Off it, yeah, and you're sawing. You're sawing with an
- 55:35Speaker 1: actual she's got a bone, she's biting down.
- 55:38Speaker 2: She's biting down on a on a on a stick,
- 55:40Speaker 2: screaming a stick. And then you go and then and then,
- 55:44Speaker 2: and then j D says, and you wouldn't believe it
- 55:46Speaker 2: how it was it?
- 55:47Speaker 1: No, we know, he goes. He goes, we're gonna we're
- 55:49Speaker 1: gonna eat it for dinner.
- 55:52Speaker 2: Right, he goes, We're gonna sor it off and eat
- 55:56Speaker 2: it for dinner. But you wouldn't believe it how it
- 55:58Speaker 2: was it?
- 55:59Speaker 1: Uh a few years before, even a little while ago.
- 56:02Speaker 1: And then we get to caveman times. They rolled that
- 56:05Speaker 1: set out from back from my caveman booty call, and
- 56:08Speaker 1: we're both cavemen now, and you've got a caveman afro.
- 56:11Speaker 4: Right, I got the afro, and you're back in your
- 56:13Speaker 4: caveman outfit. And we got her on the table.
- 56:18Speaker 10: And we're speaking Unga Bunga bunga, and then they knock
- 56:23Speaker 10: her out, and then I knock her out, and then
- 56:25Speaker 10: I knock you out right, which is so funny.
- 56:29Speaker 1: And then you go into a fantasy and you hear
- 56:35Speaker 1: and then you hear my voiceover go Pungo on Pungo.
- 56:44Speaker 2: Very funny.
- 56:45Speaker 1: I thought that ship was hilarious and I I'm a
- 56:48Speaker 1: I'm a sucker for the Scrubs double fantasy.
- 56:51Speaker 2: Very funny. I laughed at that.
- 56:54Speaker 1: What about when we all like do the Fame dance
- 56:56Speaker 1: out of the cafeteria.
- 56:57Speaker 4: That was amazing and pause and there's the big pause
- 57:01Speaker 4: and you're in front of you.
- 57:02Speaker 9: If you look at Judy, Judy has an amazing face,
- 57:05Speaker 9: like everybody has a great freaking dance pose, happy face,
- 57:09Speaker 9: like whoever who directed this episode?
- 57:12Speaker 2: Again, Punch Punch. He had to say freeze at one
- 57:16Speaker 2: point because the freeze frame was in the air.
- 57:21Speaker 9: I know, but the free but he had to be like,
- 57:23Speaker 9: jump now because if the freeze frame is coming, because
- 57:26Speaker 9: everybody's like ah, with big cheesy smiles on and everything,
- 57:30Speaker 9: and it's very funny.
- 57:31Speaker 4: And then the actual exit happens and everybody's back in
- 57:34Speaker 4: their normal scrubs. We should have said that earlier. Yeah,
- 57:37Speaker 4: Kelso makes it so that everyone wears coca colored scrubs,
- 57:41Speaker 4: Coca srubs, and he now has switched it back because
- 57:45Speaker 4: he can't. He doesn't understand why we sent the lady
- 57:48Speaker 4: back without the uh, the without the surgery. He runs
- 57:53Speaker 4: into her at the park again and she still has
- 57:55Speaker 4: the same foot problem. So he walks into the hospital
- 57:58Speaker 4: piss like, Yeah, what the fuck, man, I told you
- 58:01Speaker 4: I thought we were doing the dance.
- 58:02Speaker 1: We weren't doing the dance. We always He admits that
- 58:05Speaker 1: he knows that they do that secret dance to get
- 58:07Speaker 1: around insurance, and why aren't you doing the thing? And
- 58:11Speaker 1: they're and they're like, well, if you don't trust us,
- 58:13Speaker 1: if you if you don't let us do our dance
- 58:16Speaker 1: where we steal scrubs, then we're not going to do
- 58:19Speaker 1: the We're not going to do the dance for your friend.
- 58:23Speaker 4: And then it all costs the hospital a lot of
- 58:26Speaker 4: money because this all comes from this comes from him
- 58:29Speaker 4: being upset about the books and how much money the
- 58:32Speaker 4: generators the new generator is going to cost, and why
- 58:36Speaker 4: scrubs are costing.
- 58:36Speaker 1: Which is our fault, by the way, which is.
- 58:38Speaker 2: Our fault, right, exactly the right.
- 58:41Speaker 4: So not only did we cost the hospital money for
- 58:44Speaker 4: the generator, and not only are we stealing all of
- 58:46Speaker 4: the scrubs, We've now made it so that the dance
- 58:50Speaker 4: that we do that costs all of this money also
- 58:53Speaker 4: that costs the hospital money, is only going to be
- 58:57Speaker 4: implied if we get to steal scrubs.
- 58:59Speaker 2: Still, if we still get to cost the house.
- 59:02Speaker 1: We want our right to steal scrubs, right, We want
- 59:04Speaker 1: our cake and eat and eat it too, and then
- 59:06Speaker 1: and then, and then the cuts to like who is
- 59:09Speaker 1: in the end walking by? Was it Todd? Someone walks
- 59:12Speaker 1: by him also with a stack of scrubs like.
- 59:15Speaker 2: The Todd A.
- 59:19Speaker 4: Funny episode, Like the first half of this season started
- 59:22Speaker 4: off a little weird, and it's starting to get really funny.
- 59:27Speaker 1: The best part of the end of the episode is
- 59:29Speaker 1: that JD and Turk finally see that they've been duped
- 59:34Speaker 1: and that Rowdy and Steven are together.
- 59:37Speaker 4: And uh, but they don't live together anymore, so now
- 59:40Speaker 4: one of them they don't have to share the dog, right.
- 59:42Speaker 1: And and and then he says, how do you know
- 59:44Speaker 1: which ones which? And JD reaches under Rowdy's dead balls
- 59:49Speaker 1: he feels them and goes, that's Steven.
- 59:54Speaker 2: Don't ask me how I know.
- 59:56Speaker 1: Don't ask me how I know. So, somewhere in the
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: the taxi dermine scrotums, JD knows.
- 1:00:05Speaker 4: Somewhere lies the secret between the Somewhere in their taxidermy
- 1:00:10Speaker 4: scrotums lies the secret.
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: There's a sentence no one has ever said before. Somewhere
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: in their taxiderminte scrotums lies the secret. Kelso has hard
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: at the end, though, you know, the show ends with
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: some heart. You know, Cox decides he's not gonna ruin
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: it for Elliott because he doesn't want her to become
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: as cynical as he is, which also, you know, shows
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: his heart that for this woman that that he knows
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: didn't have insurance, and he took care of her because
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: even though he normally looks the other way, he he
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: looked directly at it this time because he he cares
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: for his friend in the park who was quite sick.
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: Kelso definitely is getting softer as.
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: He Yes, I think Bill is strategically making him still
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: totally inappropriate, but but showing little glimmers of more heart
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: as he ages he's accepting Harrison.
- 1:01:07Speaker 4: Moore, Yeah and and Harrison's boyfriends. He's learning their names
- 1:01:11Speaker 4: now instead of just yeah.
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: And and and and and participating in their businesses because
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: you know, he went to the last boyfriend's cinnabon and
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: that's where he's been gaining some weight.
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: Right, oh man.
- 1:01:29Speaker 4: And then also uh Carla. Carla gives the janitor uh
- 1:01:36Speaker 4: squid ink at the end of.
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: The show because the janitor believes that someone at coffee
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: Bus is going to poison him and he wants Carla
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: to be his coffee tester, right, and once she outs herself.
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: As as the whole rowdy story.
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: His blackmail scheme is irrelevant.
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: He can't blackmail anymore. But but he's right that someone
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: is trying to hurt him and they've put squid ink
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: in his coffee. Yeah, and his tongue is black black
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: and his fingers black.
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: He dips his finger and it pulled it out and
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: then tastes it.
- 1:02:18Speaker 4: If you dip your finger in coffee and it comes
- 1:02:21Speaker 4: out and it's covered in black oil or ink.
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: What looks like oil. Are you gonna put it on
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: your tongue after that?
- 1:02:29Speaker 6: No?
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: But thees We.
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: Did it, guys, we did it, guys. We don't even guess.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: Today is somebody flaked on Joel and we don't like you.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: When you flake on our queen, you're like, you know you?
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: How many people want to come on as callers? And
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: and Joel has to shift through We.
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: Don't even get yo, Daniel, Daniel, yes, no song?
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: And instead of that, can we play Joel Joel Monique
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: is down to get down?
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: Oh yeah, let's get that one? Sure? Can yeah?
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: Play play that drop?
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: But which version of it?
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: The dirty one? The dirty one? If you don't mind
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: you all? No, that's okay, all.
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: Right, cool, get the world out all.
- 1:03:10Speaker 3: Joel money is down, get down, no matter what's between
- 1:03:16Speaker 3: your eggs.
- 1:03:17Speaker 9: Tomorrow morning you could be make.
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: An egg Joel money down, get down. Oh yeah, Joel
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: money is down to get That's a bomb.
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: That is a bop.
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: We love you, guys. Sign uh. I'm coming to the
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: Paramount Theater on in In in Austin, Texas on June fifth.
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: This is how fucking this is how this is how
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: my brain works. I was like, what are you going
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: to Paramount Theater?
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: Donald? I hope, I hope even though you have COVID,
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: you get over it and that you enjoy your right
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: to stay away from your children and pull bong hits
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: and play video games. A. Maybe you can watch it,
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: Maybe you can watch Maybe you can watch dan all
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: on twitch? And what are you gonna twitch? Danel?
- 1:04:08Speaker 7: Oh?
- 1:04:09Speaker 3: Same old, same old, mostly Rocket League and maybe this
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: game goes.
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: Don't your viewers get ball on board of you playing
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: Rocket League?
- 1:04:16Speaker 3: Quite the contrary, they like it more.
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: No, Rocket League is Yeah, I don't even know what
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: Rocket League is.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: It's a car soccer game. Sorry.
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: Awesome, Yeah that sounds amazing.
- 1:04:25Speaker 3: It's pretty incredible.
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: And it's overhead.
- 1:04:29Speaker 3: Uh no it yeah, kind of yeah.
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: It's overhead. Why don't you play elden Ring because that
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: game really pisses me off?
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: You know what, I bought it and I tried it.
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: That ship, dude, that's just too much. Man.
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: Gray plays that. She twitches it. Yeah, but you know what,
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: she's Sasha, and she's good at it so many things.
- 1:04:48Speaker 3: She's better than me a video games. I can't do
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: it too much of a baby.
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: I don't have the patience.
- 1:04:53Speaker 3: Same I'd rather play Rocket League, but.
- 1:04:56Speaker 4: I will play never Winter Nights and that's just a
- 1:04:58Speaker 4: tough game. There you go, it's a very difficult game.
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: I am going to play that. I'm so excited. I
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: finished summer.
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: What is the countdown to Obi Wan Kenoby airing on
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: Disney Plus?
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: What's it like seven days after this? It'll be this Friday.
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: So when it airs this Friday? Right? All right?
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: So Friday, guys, check out obi Wan Kenoby because we
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: are all very excited about it.
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: I'm really excited.
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: Even I'm excited about it. I've been I've been watching
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: two episodes. I just give two shout outs, okay for
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: things I watch. Donald don't watch anything but Marvel and
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: Star Wars. But first of all, Colin Firth is such
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: a good actor. I've watched two different things with him.
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: What are you watching?
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: Watched some Staircase on EAHB.
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: She's watching that, she's amazing.
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: And Operation Mincemeat, which is a true story of of
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: a of a spy mission that the English did in
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: World War Two, that is also incredible.
- 1:06:00Speaker 4: Can I just say something though, you said something that
- 1:06:02Speaker 4: everybody after you said it was like, no shit.
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: Colin Firth is such an amazing actor.
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: No shit, no, I know, but I've never particularly focused
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: on it. I've never said I know that he works
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: a lot, I know that he's well respected.
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: And he's an Academy Award winner.
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: I'm just telling you that. Right now, he has two
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: high profile things out and I've watched them both and
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: he's fucking killing it. He's so good, dude.
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: Okay, So I just want you to do this one time.
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: Just go back and watch Love.
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: Actually, oh well, that's old school.
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: Go watch it.
- 1:06:35Speaker 4: It's one of the best movies ever made. And it's
- 1:06:37Speaker 4: not Christmas time, and you can watch it right now.
- 1:06:39Speaker 4: And I guarantee you the scene at the end with
- 1:06:41Speaker 4: Colin Firth in the freaking Portuguese cafe talking to the
- 1:06:47Speaker 4: lady to the girl who was his assistant that summer
- 1:06:52Speaker 4: or at that cottage, whatever it is, that scene where
- 1:06:55Speaker 4: he's talking to her in bad Portuguese.
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: Is one of the best scenes in the movie. That's
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: what I'm talking about. And that movie has so many
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: great scenes.
- 1:07:07Speaker 4: That's what I'm talking about. I like, I like that
- 1:07:10Speaker 4: brother has been good for so long it's ridiculous.
