SPEAKER_00: Hello, hello, and welcome to another episode of a really good podcast with Greg and Liz.
0:15
SPEAKER_00: And today's episode, I f I don't even know what what's gonna happen here.
0:20
SPEAKER_00: We're going off the cuff a little bit.
0:22
SPEAKER_01: It's a fantastic idea.
0:23
SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna give you the all the credit as I am.
0:25
SPEAKER_00: So I was on Facebook and I'm scrolling and I see a, I believe it was a BuzzFeed article, and it was like 40 couples you never would have believed existed.
0:34
SPEAKER_00: I started reading through it and I was like, what the fuck?
0:37
SPEAKER_00: And I personally am, I consider myself to be a pretty big pop culture aficionado.
0:44
SPEAKER_00: The best.
0:44
SPEAKER_00: And I was blown away by some of these.
0:46
SPEAKER_00: So I texted you.
0:47
SPEAKER_00: This was months ago when we were still on our hiatus.
0:50
SPEAKER_00: So then I started compiling the list, but then I realized like, I don't there's no structure here.
0:54
SPEAKER_00: There's no, we're just gonna like talk about random couples that have dated.
0:58
SPEAKER_01: Which is fun, and you know, and and of course I wanted to contribute, but had difficulty.
1:02
SPEAKER_01: And I had a little shocker.
1:05
SPEAKER_01: Well, I it just was going, it was uncomfortable because I was like, all right, whoopi Goldberg and Ted Danson.
1:12
unknown: Yeah, yeah.
1:14
SPEAKER_00: Do you remember that movie they made?
1:15
SPEAKER_00: Made in America?
1:17
SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
1:17
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
1:18
SPEAKER_00: It was like they were related, or somebody was somebody's dad, or something weird.
1:24
SPEAKER_01: Silly stuff.
1:24
SPEAKER_01: I remember there was the one with like my day with dad or some shit with like Macaulay Culkin and Ted Danson, and he had like a ponytail and he's like supposed to be like this wayward father, but they had like a good day and it all worked out.
1:34
SPEAKER_01: It's Macaulay Culkin and Ted Danson.
1:36
SPEAKER_00: Unless I'm it's a favorite no, it it that does sound familiar.
1:40
SPEAKER_00: That does sound familiar.
1:41
SPEAKER_01: So, all right, so there's that's my first couple.
1:43
SPEAKER_01: Then I'm thinking to myself, and then I'm thinking, Seal and is it Molly Sims?
1:47
SPEAKER_01: Heidi Clum.
1:48
SPEAKER_01: Heidi Clum.
1:49
SPEAKER_00: Not Molly Sims.
1:50
SPEAKER_01: But then I have that.
1:51
SPEAKER_01: So my list has two couples right now, and now I'm like, what's going on here?
1:54
SPEAKER_01: Like I think.
1:55
SPEAKER_00: You are you're only focusing on interracial couples.
1:58
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you're like, Wow, this is random.
2:01
SPEAKER_01: Let's first of all, we but you're following so far, right?
2:04
SPEAKER_01: It's just getting uncomfortable.
2:06
SPEAKER_01: It has nothing to do with interracial couples, because I'm a huge fan of them, you know?
2:10
SPEAKER_01: Trying to think of one hard time.
2:14
SPEAKER_01: And this is why I kind of like pass it over to you for you.
2:18
SPEAKER_00: So when I texted you and said you have a list of couples, right?
2:22
SPEAKER_00: You said, Oh yeah.
2:24
SPEAKER_00: And and that was it.
2:25
SPEAKER_00: It was Ted Dancing and Whoopi Goldberg and Steel and Hetty Clum, who by the way, we're married for like 20 years.
2:32
SPEAKER_01: You know, I didn't, I I'm that was a misjudgment on my part.
2:35
SPEAKER_01: But what's funny though is I did have ones that eat me.
2:38
SPEAKER_01: Actually, if I'm being honest, the first one that came to mind was Billy Bob and Angelina, but I'm I'm like, there's no way she doesn't get that one.
2:44
SPEAKER_00: Well, see, I was kind of struggling because after I came up with it, it was like, is this I can't believe they dated or just randomly matching, or and then I was like, you know what, we can do whatever we want.
2:55
SPEAKER_00: So let's just talk about some random fuck couples.
2:57
SPEAKER_01: I know, but the the thing about those two, it's like it actually made sense.
3:01
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I think Angelina, I she's got some daddy issues.
3:04
SPEAKER_01: And she's like Edgar Allan Poe and Jerry Lewis like marrying young cousins.
3:10
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean that's that's that's a whole different thing.
3:13
SPEAKER_01: Where are we going with this?
3:14
SPEAKER_00: Like, are we doing like I don't like I don't want to dedicate a whole episode to incest, but that's a whole different that's a whole different piece.
3:22
SPEAKER_01: Problematic relationships, yeah.
3:23
SPEAKER_00: Problematic relationships would be a good one.
3:25
SPEAKER_00: So thankfully, I don't depend on you to do the work ever.
3:29
SPEAKER_01: You want to know what have you heard of the Habsburg dynasty?
3:32
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, isn't it your ancestors?
3:34
SPEAKER_01: I'm basically a product of a long history of incestual relationships.
3:39
SPEAKER_01: It makes so much sense though.
3:41
SPEAKER_01: Comfortable that happened within my family.
3:43
SPEAKER_01: And I'm gonna clear that up real quick because I I heard how that came out.
3:47
SPEAKER_01: But my grandfather was lit like lived next, and he, you know, he had a bunch of brothers, and my grandmother had a bunch of sisters, and a couple of the brothers married a couple of the sisters.
3:56
SPEAKER_01: Now I know that's not incest.
3:58
SPEAKER_01: No, but it is weird, it's it's a strange, it always kind of felt strange that like family thing where it's like, oh, Pepe's brother is like Meme's Wait, what?
4:07
SPEAKER_01: Meme's sister's husband.
4:09
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so I mean, I guess it's not really any different because it's not like it changes your family tree, but like it does close the gaps a little bit.
4:18
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and they took it, they took like the shortest path ever.
4:21
SPEAKER_01: Like neighbors, and they were like, you know what, this is fine.
4:24
SPEAKER_00: Do you think the last couple that got together was just like whatever?
4:28
SPEAKER_00: Let's just let's just do it.
4:29
SPEAKER_01: We're doing it.
4:31
SPEAKER_00: It'll make Christmas so much easier.
4:34
unknown: Yeah, yeah.
4:36
SPEAKER_00: All right, so I have a few different things.
4:38
SPEAKER_00: Well, I have quite a few couples here, but one of the things I thought we'd start talking about is current couples who seemed really random and now have been together and don't seem that random anymore.
4:51
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
4:52
SPEAKER_00: Right there.
4:52
SPEAKER_00: Let's start out Matthew Lawrence and Chili.
4:55
SPEAKER_01: That that's that's the third one we mentioned.
4:57
SPEAKER_01: Is that interracial?
4:59
SPEAKER_00: I mean, and honestly, I don't even know if I have any other interracial couples here.
5:02
SPEAKER_00: It was just the first on my list.
5:04
SPEAKER_00: No, I I think that that's more random.
5:06
SPEAKER_00: A, she's like 12, 13 years older than him.
5:10
SPEAKER_01: Okay, we went different ways with that.
5:11
SPEAKER_01: I've always when they said crazy, sexy, cool, they weren't lying.
5:15
SPEAKER_00: No, I always thought she was the prettiest for sure.
5:18
SPEAKER_00: T-Boz looks pretty good.
5:20
SPEAKER_01: But the in the video with their all they're all like draped in satin.
5:23
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
5:24
SPEAKER_00: No, T Boz, I always thought T-Boz was and left eye looks very pretty.
5:28
SPEAKER_00: Had some troubles, had some troubles there.
5:30
SPEAKER_00: Speaking of random couples, she did set someone's house on fire.
5:33
SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, I she did.
5:34
SPEAKER_01: Andre Ryzen, I think.
5:36
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
5:36
SPEAKER_01: Now on this list, and I do want to talk about Chili.
5:39
SPEAKER_01: Not like it was forced for like podcast reasons, and then it just kind of worked out.
5:42
SPEAKER_00: What?
5:43
SPEAKER_00: Oh, for them?
5:44
SPEAKER_00: No, they weren't on a podcast together.
5:45
SPEAKER_00: No, but they would do a lot of TikToks.
5:47
SPEAKER_00: Well, they did that after they started dating.
5:49
SPEAKER_00: No, they were on a plane.
5:50
SPEAKER_00: I watched a video of the of how it started because I was so fascinated by them.
5:53
SPEAKER_00: They were on a plane coming back from a 90s con, the one that's in Connecticut that I want us to go to sometime, and she asked him out.
6:02
SPEAKER_00: Interesting.
6:02
SPEAKER_00: I mean, he's a good looking guy.
6:04
SPEAKER_00: He is a good looking guy.
6:04
SPEAKER_00: They're all good looking.
6:05
SPEAKER_00: I actually just fun fact, I just did a little bit of a deep dive on Joey Lawrence and his relationship.
6:11
SPEAKER_00: Have you seen anything about this?
6:13
SPEAKER_00: Whoa, whoa.
6:14
SPEAKER_00: Whoa.
6:15
unknown: Okay.
6:16
SPEAKER_00: So Joey Lawrence, he was married before.
6:19
SPEAKER_00: He got married again.
6:21
SPEAKER_00: And in August of 2024, his wife filed for divorce.
6:25
SPEAKER_00: This was a wife of like a year, two years, maybe.
6:28
SPEAKER_00: Like it wasn't a long term.
6:29
SPEAKER_00: It wasn't his wife that he had his original kids with.
6:31
SPEAKER_00: And she said that he cheated on her with the star of a lifetime movie that he was making.
6:37
SPEAKER_00: And her husband, that woman's husband, came out and filed for divorce also and said that they had this affair.
6:42
SPEAKER_00: He made this statement a few weeks later saying their marriage was broken, it was irreparable because she would never accept his older daughters into their family.
6:52
SPEAKER_00: And like he knew he couldn't be with her because she was so unaccepting of his children and he had to prioritize his children.
6:57
SPEAKER_00: And then like two months later, they got back together and they just had a baby.
7:01
SPEAKER_01: Well, I mean, here's the thing about that too.
7:03
SPEAKER_01: Like, tell her before you cheat on her, I think is probably the move.
7:06
SPEAKER_00: Also, how do you come back from that?
7:09
SPEAKER_00: If Tucker's going on and making a statement that I don't prioritize his children, well, obviously that's not possible, but you know what I mean.
7:18
SPEAKER_00: They're definitely canceling their lifetime subscription.
7:20
unknown: Yeah.
7:21
SPEAKER_00: But I was like, that is a wild thing to come back from.
7:23
SPEAKER_00: Okay, anyway, let's move on.
7:25
SPEAKER_01: I I can I pick one real quick because it just came to my mind.
7:27
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
7:27
SPEAKER_01: See if this is on your radar.
7:29
SPEAKER_01: Flavor Flavin Brigitte Nielsen.
7:31
SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, I know.
7:32
SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, it's interracial.
7:34
unknown: Fuck.
7:35
SPEAKER_00: You're obsessed.
7:36
SPEAKER_00: But have you seen the guy on Instagram that does the old man thing?
7:40
SPEAKER_00: And he's like, he's like, oh yeah, big, big, big deal for us.
7:43
SPEAKER_00: It's like explaining our childhood to our grandkids.
7:47
SPEAKER_00: And one of them, he was like, Yeah, I mean, you know, he was dating a bunch of women and then he'd hand out a clock to the ones that he wanted to date.
7:54
SPEAKER_00: Of course we were obsessed with it.
7:56
unknown: And it's so true.
7:57
SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, I forgot that it was from Flavor of Love.
8:00
SPEAKER_00: No, no, no, no.
8:01
SPEAKER_00: He she wasn't on Flavor of Love, it was from that celebrity house show.
8:06
SPEAKER_01: Oh, the surreal life.
8:07
SPEAKER_00: The surreal life, yes.
8:09
SPEAKER_01: Okay, and all waste and peed.
8:12
SPEAKER_00: But were they really dating?
8:14
SPEAKER_00: It kind of seemed like it.
8:16
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it did.
8:17
SPEAKER_01: I mean, Rocky Four, she was, she was and and Lionheart, a great callback to a Van Dam movie.
8:22
SPEAKER_00: I bet.
8:23
SPEAKER_01: I don't even think that was her actually, but whatever.
8:26
SPEAKER_00: Same thing, same enough.
8:27
SPEAKER_00: It's enough.
8:28
SPEAKER_00: I feel like she was like two feet taller than him, too.
8:30
SPEAKER_00: Oh, she's she's a big woman.
8:31
SPEAKER_00: She is a big woman.
8:32
SPEAKER_00: All right.
8:33
SPEAKER_00: Next for current couples that are odd, seemed odd at the time.
8:37
SPEAKER_00: Kylie and Timmy Chalamet.
8:39
SPEAKER_00: It did seem odd.
8:40
SPEAKER_00: But I think it seemed odd because I think we all think of Timothy Chalamet as like a young baby.
8:46
SPEAKER_00: I mean no, like a turn of the century boy.
8:50
SPEAKER_01: Oh, I mean like a like a medieval, like page.
8:53
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
8:53
SPEAKER_00: Like he like seems like somebody who'd maybe be French.
8:56
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, like a lord or something.
8:58
SPEAKER_00: Or yeah, or like an old timey shoe.
9:01
SPEAKER_00: Like he's you know, like he just seems of a different time.
9:05
SPEAKER_00: And then you find out that he was like New York industry kid and he's not French.
9:12
SPEAKER_00: It kind of makes more sense.
9:13
SPEAKER_01: Chamelet does throw you off.
9:15
SPEAKER_00: I mean, yeah, it's Chalamet.
9:19
unknown: Fine.
9:20
SPEAKER_01: Um, but to me, I have a problem with that being like the sort of archetype for the modern male.
9:26
SPEAKER_00: No, me too.
9:26
SPEAKER_00: But I think it's flipping around.
9:30
SPEAKER_00: I like a man in a hoodie and maybe a baseball hat, some sneakers.
9:36
SPEAKER_00: I don't want to see a man in fashion.
9:39
SPEAKER_01: Oh, see, okay.
9:41
SPEAKER_01: I'm I'm somewhere in between though, because I want to see a man in fashion, but I want it to be a little more man fashion.
9:47
SPEAKER_00: Oh, like cardigans and little page boy hats.
9:50
unknown: That's right.
9:51
SPEAKER_01: I take that shots fired, but also and I will say, yeah, he looks like he just got school, like his mom took him school shopping.
9:59
SPEAKER_01: Like that's age and the fashion we're talking there.
10:02
SPEAKER_01: But he's got Kylie to take care of him.
10:04
SPEAKER_01: I mean, let's be honest, he he's in good hands if it if it in terms of fashion, right?
10:07
SPEAKER_01: She knows what she's doing.
10:08
SPEAKER_00: Well, she's kind of like trashy, though, you know, like she's not she's not high fashion, she's like sheen high fashion.
10:16
SPEAKER_01: Okay, all right.
10:17
SPEAKER_01: Is that sort of the consensus on her?
10:19
SPEAKER_01: Is that where like him was high fashion?
10:21
SPEAKER_00: No, no, the Kardashians are they're they're new money.
10:26
SPEAKER_00: If we're gonna go with like the Gilded Age terms, they're the ones that show up with like the garish gold ballrooms.
10:33
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and then like they have a lot of money, but as Countess Luann said, money can't buy you class.
10:39
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, okay, moving on.
10:40
SPEAKER_00: Travis Kelsey and Taylor Swift.
10:42
SPEAKER_00: It makes a lot of sense now.
10:44
SPEAKER_00: At the time, that was random.
10:46
SPEAKER_01: It was random, and it was like career ending, I feel like, in a lot of ways for him.
10:51
SPEAKER_00: Well, no, because he won the Super Bowl that year that they dated.
10:55
SPEAKER_01: That's a good point, but nothing after that.
10:56
SPEAKER_01: No, it just seemed like it took a lot of steam out of him, you know.
10:59
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
11:00
SPEAKER_00: I mean, he was he was partying a lot more than he should have been.
11:03
SPEAKER_00: He was flying into like Barcelona Barcelona for the errors tour.
11:08
SPEAKER_01: I mean, can't be doing that and keeping your mind on the game.
11:10
SPEAKER_01: So I don't know, but what was we because ultimately they are two super rich, talented so it's not crazy.
11:17
SPEAKER_00: Billy Ray Cyrus and Elizabeth Hurley.
11:19
SPEAKER_00: Did you even know they were dating?
11:21
SPEAKER_00: No, they're currently dating.
11:23
SPEAKER_00: They're currently dating, and he's a disaster.
11:25
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he's a lot of drinking and everything, huh?
11:27
SPEAKER_00: Well, he dated that like he was engaged to that like 20-something year old fire rose, and she has made an Instagram account where she just posts all videos of him like abusing her, basically.
11:40
SPEAKER_01: Like abusing her physically?
11:42
SPEAKER_00: Well, I don't know if it's physical, it's black, like you can't see it, but you can hear him like just tearing into her and saying like horrible, horrible things about how disgusting she is and like all this stuff.
11:53
SPEAKER_00: So it's not great.
11:55
SPEAKER_00: I don't know what she's doing.
11:56
SPEAKER_00: Like, she always said, I mean, you know, Hugh Grant.
11:59
SPEAKER_00: Do we remember Hugh Grant and the She's problematic too?
12:02
SPEAKER_01: He added a lot of the the The Lady of the Night.
12:04
SPEAKER_01: He's gonna break her icky breaky heart.
12:05
SPEAKER_01: Oh come on.
12:06
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, or she, I mean, she might, but like, how is she desperate?
12:10
SPEAKER_00: I doubt it.
12:11
SPEAKER_00: All right, so let's get into some former couples that are really random.
12:16
SPEAKER_00: Let's just start out with a with a banger, okay?
12:19
SPEAKER_00: Give me what you got.
12:19
SPEAKER_00: Andre Agassiz and Barbara Streisand.
12:22
SPEAKER_00: That is I don't even have anything else with it.
12:26
SPEAKER_00: I don't even think I looked up the info, but that was on that list.
12:29
SPEAKER_01: And how long did were they dating for?
12:31
SPEAKER_01: That couldn't have been very long.
12:32
SPEAKER_00: I want to say they had a brief but highly publicized romance in the early 1990s.
12:37
SPEAKER_00: Despite a 28-year age gap, they formed a sympathy friendship and mutually inspired each other in that era before eventually parting ways amicably, obviously.
12:47
SPEAKER_00: Their romance blossomed in 92 when Streisand, a massive tennis man, began attending Agassiz's matches.
12:53
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
12:55
SPEAKER_01: 28 years old.
12:56
SPEAKER_01: See, I didn't even think she was that much older.
12:58
SPEAKER_00: I know.
12:58
SPEAKER_00: In his 2009 autobiography, Open, which I've heard was a good autobiography.
13:03
SPEAKER_01: Incredible.
13:03
SPEAKER_01: I've actually read it, yeah.
13:04
SPEAKER_00: So how did you not know about this?
13:06
SPEAKER_00: Um, noting that the public outcry only added spice to their connection.
13:10
SPEAKER_01: Hmm.
13:11
SPEAKER_01: It must have been a little spicy, right?
13:13
SPEAKER_01: She's like 50 and he's 20 something too, right?
13:17
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
13:17
SPEAKER_00: Well, no.
13:18
SPEAKER_00: Well, oh yeah, I guess it would have been 92, 28-year age gap.
13:22
SPEAKER_00: So yeah, they would have been, yeah.
13:24
SPEAKER_01: They hit it.
13:24
SPEAKER_01: That's the sweet spot.
13:25
SPEAKER_01: Like that's the doable 22 and 50 if you're gonna be 28 years.
13:30
SPEAKER_00: That's the sweet spot.
13:34
SPEAKER_01: Well, I mean, you only have so much room, you know what I mean, to play.
13:39
SPEAKER_01: I mean, it's not like you I know.
13:40
SPEAKER_00: Well, it it all goes downhill real quick though.
13:43
SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
13:44
SPEAKER_00: So you gotta make it quick.
13:45
SPEAKER_00: I always said if Tucker and I get divorced, I'm not getting married again or anything, but I would maybe date someone that was like 15, 20 years younger just for fun.
13:53
SPEAKER_00: You're date in the sweet spot, yeah.
13:54
SPEAKER_00: But like not, I wouldn't go early 20s, I don't think.
13:57
SPEAKER_00: No, I'd like to have their brain fully formed first.
14:00
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
14:01
SPEAKER_00: Well, it depends.
14:02
SPEAKER_00: It depends on what you're going for, you know.
14:04
SPEAKER_00: You got what, 10 years?
14:05
SPEAKER_00: That's like borderline made December.
14:08
SPEAKER_00: Sweet spot.
14:11
SPEAKER_00: Now, this one I thought was really interesting.
14:14
SPEAKER_00: Megan Fox and David Gallagher, who you may know of as the little blonde boy on Seventh Heaven.
14:21
SPEAKER_00: I cannot believe that happened.
14:22
SPEAKER_00: She dated him for like a while.
14:25
SPEAKER_00: It was like a significant relationship.
14:27
SPEAKER_01: She loves those like WB.
14:29
SPEAKER_01: I'm not gonna call 90210 WB, but like those like teen, I don't know, what what would you call that?
14:34
SPEAKER_01: Like a soap opera?
14:35
SPEAKER_00: I feel like she loves like a blonde man, I guess.
14:39
SPEAKER_01: You know how I feel about a blond man.
14:40
SPEAKER_01: I do not trust the blonde man.
14:42
SPEAKER_00: Even though you are a blonde man.
14:43
SPEAKER_01: I'm not a blond man, not anymore, but you were once upon a time.
14:48
SPEAKER_01: Not anymore.
14:49
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so oh also her in the David from 9020.
14:53
SPEAKER_00: That's why I kind of like David from 9020.
14:55
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that was that was not weird.
14:57
SPEAKER_01: That kind of made sense, but it kind of made sense.
15:00
SPEAKER_01: He's a little bit like I don't know.
15:01
SPEAKER_01: Well, it felt like she was like soaring out of his league.
15:05
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, he got her in the sweet spot.
15:07
SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, he did.
15:08
SPEAKER_00: I think it was like right post Transformers, yes, and then she just skyrocketed and he isn't a weird couple right now.
15:18
SPEAKER_01: I think she's remains a weird, I think she's always a weird couple because well, she's not with MGK anymore.
15:23
SPEAKER_00: Really?
15:24
SPEAKER_00: No, they broke up, they had a baby and broke up.
15:26
SPEAKER_00: It's tough, it is tough, but I mean it depends.
15:30
SPEAKER_01: My baby's my easiest one so far, but I guess if you've never done it before, yeah, and you're MGK and like your spiked bracelets, and it's like, hey, dude.
15:38
SPEAKER_00: He actually has like a 17-year-old.
15:41
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he does.
15:41
SPEAKER_01: And you know what?
15:42
SPEAKER_01: I don't hate the guy, I think he's kind of cool.
15:44
SPEAKER_00: No, and everything I've heard about him as a father is he's actually a really good father.
15:50
SPEAKER_00: But that was also from an interview with Pete Davidson where Pete Davidson talked about how he was his inspiration as a father.
15:56
SPEAKER_00: Speaking of Pete Davidson gets a whole category on here.
16:00
SPEAKER_00: He's kind of in, I made like a weird relationship hall of fame.
16:04
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
16:04
SPEAKER_00: And there's I only put three people in it.
16:07
SPEAKER_00: He's one of them.
16:08
SPEAKER_00: And I'd like to spend upwards of 45 minutes discussing Pete Davidson.
16:14
SPEAKER_00: And like, just what do you think it is?
16:17
SPEAKER_00: Because he's objectively, uh I'm sorry, I know some people disagree.
16:20
SPEAKER_00: I he's not good looking.
16:22
SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna tell you a couple things.
16:23
SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna psychology's my world, right?
16:25
SPEAKER_01: So we'll say we'll say one thing, we'll take it out of the realm of why people are attracted to him outside of physicality.
16:30
SPEAKER_01: So physicality-wise, tall, skinny guys.
16:33
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, let me tell you something.
16:34
SPEAKER_01: There's sort of something known about that genre of human being.
16:38
SPEAKER_01: Do you know what I'm talking about?
16:39
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
16:39
SPEAKER_01: Okay, so there's that big penis.
16:41
SPEAKER_01: That's right.
16:42
SPEAKER_00: You can just say it.
16:42
SPEAKER_00: Well, I think that's part of it.
16:45
SPEAKER_00: Or just tall, like tall in general.
16:48
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I mean, it's just proportions, right?
16:49
SPEAKER_01: Also the childhood trauma.
16:51
SPEAKER_01: And there's a nurt sense of nurture here that, like, you know, women want to nurture him back to sort of health.
16:57
SPEAKER_00: Yes.
16:57
SPEAKER_00: If anyone doesn't know his dad died in 9-11, he was a firefighter, right?
17:02
SPEAKER_01: And then he's and then, you know, women are attracted to people who make them laugh.
17:06
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
17:06
SPEAKER_01: So I think that's something.
17:08
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
17:09
SPEAKER_00: What else?
17:10
SPEAKER_00: My theory is that he is a good listener.
17:13
SPEAKER_00: And I have developed this theory of years of being a woman and, you know, dating and whatever.
17:21
SPEAKER_00: And I think this is why we've talked about this before about how women will fall in love with their therapists, right?
17:28
SPEAKER_01: No, I know it.
17:30
SPEAKER_00: How men don't tend to listen.
17:33
SPEAKER_00: Like, men are not by nature very good listeners.
17:36
SPEAKER_00: So, like, you talk to men and they look through you, they don't really pay attention, they turn it back around on themselves.
17:42
SPEAKER_00: Like, it's very rare that you meet a man, and you're not like this, actually.
17:46
SPEAKER_00: You are an exception to this.
17:47
SPEAKER_00: Probably being a therapist, I would imagine, helps a bit.
17:50
SPEAKER_00: If you are just a guy, and this is if there are any men listening, which I don't know that there are, if you just listen and ask questions and actually like seem interested in the answer, you can probably have any woman you want.
18:03
SPEAKER_01: Is that the secret?
18:04
SPEAKER_00: That's the secret.
18:05
SPEAKER_00: It is so rare to meet a man, and I can actually actively think about these men that I've met in my life that took just an active listening.
18:14
SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean?
18:15
SPEAKER_00: They don't just like uh try to like move the conversation along, they actually respond with questions, can tell they're actually listening and at least appearing interested in what you say.
18:25
SPEAKER_00: And I have a theory that Pete Davidson is like that.
18:27
SPEAKER_01: What's curious, what's making me curious is like you have someone like popped up in your head when you said that.
18:32
SPEAKER_00: Well, I know a lot of people, I've talked about this multiple times over the last like 20 years, because when you date people, it's very obvious, but not even dating, just like with friends.
18:41
SPEAKER_00: I can think of all of my guy friends that are like that, that they talk to you and they ask you questions and they seem interested.
18:47
SPEAKER_00: And that's really all it takes.
18:49
SPEAKER_00: Women just want to be heard.
18:50
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
18:51
SPEAKER_00: And I think that's why I think Pete Davidson does that.
18:53
SPEAKER_00: That's my guess.
18:54
SPEAKER_01: Well, I mean, I don't know how we find out, but but it wouldn't that make sense though?
18:58
SPEAKER_00: Because you said I remember I sent you a text about your coworker, how one of my friends whose son goes to him, she wanted to set him up with one of her friends because she like thought he would be whatever, and you were like, Oh, yeah, this happens all the time.
19:10
SPEAKER_00: And I was like, Yeah, probably because somebody's actually listening to you.
19:14
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
19:15
SPEAKER_00: So what happens?
19:16
SPEAKER_00: Tell me about that actually.
19:17
SPEAKER_00: Do people like actually like I mean, I would assume they know that you're basically married.
19:21
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
19:21
SPEAKER_01: Well, so yeah, but that there there is a two-year rule too.
19:25
SPEAKER_01: What's that?
19:25
SPEAKER_01: That means that a therapist there must it's like built into the system because like you cannot date a person that you've spoken to in a professional sense for at least two years.
19:35
SPEAKER_00: Oh, so it is possible at some point.
19:37
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
19:39
SPEAKER_01: Well, that's a gray area though, with if they're if if you're like the parent of a kid, I wonder what that wonder what that's like.
19:44
SPEAKER_00: Well, so for her, it wasn't for her, it was one of her friends.
19:47
SPEAKER_00: But yeah, I mean, I would think it would be the same with a kid too, because like I feel like it would be really, really weird if I were to date somebody that he's spoken to without me around in that sense.
19:58
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's I'd be like the Forrest Gump scene where he's like, your mama really cares about your health, boy.
20:02
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
20:05
SPEAKER_01: I guess what?
20:07
SPEAKER_01: You know, so uh yeah, no, I I think I think you're onto something there, honestly.
20:11
SPEAKER_00: I'm telling you, just ask questions, just ask questions.
20:14
SPEAKER_01: Right.
20:14
SPEAKER_01: Like it maybe it's the only profession that that's the case, too.
20:17
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'm kind of in a similar profession.
20:19
SPEAKER_00: I'm a borderline therapist without any of the training.
20:22
SPEAKER_00: I think in my job though, it's because I'm you're one-on-one and you're just spending hours and hours of time together.
20:28
SPEAKER_00: So like I'm asking a million questions, but I would imagine it's probably different on like a male-female.
20:34
SPEAKER_00: I don't do men's hair, so and men don't care.
20:36
SPEAKER_00: Men don't need no, no, I refuse to do men's hair.
20:39
SPEAKER_00: I can't say that though, because of like the gender stuff.
20:41
SPEAKER_00: So I don't do any kind of clipper work.
20:44
SPEAKER_01: That's a good way to do it.
20:45
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I you can't say like I don't do men's hair because you know slippery flop.
20:49
SPEAKER_00: It's a it's a tricky, tricky subject now.
20:52
SPEAKER_00: Okay, moving on.
20:53
SPEAKER_00: Another one in the weird relationship hall of fame, Ryan Reynolds.
20:56
SPEAKER_01: Okay, this one I could see for sure.
20:57
SPEAKER_01: He's had some really weird relationships, right?
21:00
SPEAKER_00: Alanis.
21:00
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, okay, that's not even the weirdest.
21:02
SPEAKER_01: Keep going with that.
21:03
SPEAKER_00: Really, you you don't think Alanis is I think it's weird.
21:06
SPEAKER_01: I think Alanis and Dave Coulier was even weirder.
21:09
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, especially because she was like borderline child.
21:11
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's weird.
21:12
SPEAKER_00: But he dated Alanis, he did Melissa Joan Hart before, I think before Alanis, or maybe after.
21:19
SPEAKER_00: He dated Kristen Johnston.
21:21
SPEAKER_00: Do you know who that is?
21:22
SPEAKER_00: She was the woman on Third Rock from the Sun.
21:24
SPEAKER_01: Oh, the she's a big woman.
21:26
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, he's a tall man though.
21:28
SPEAKER_00: Okay, and then obviously he was married to Scarlett Johansson, cheated on Scarlett Johansson with Blake Lively, and has now been with Blake Lively.
21:35
SPEAKER_01: What do you think it's like for Colin Jost to know that?
21:39
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I mean, because it it's it's like Ryan Reynolds, that's those are tough shoes to fill.
21:43
SPEAKER_00: Well, so Ryan Reynolds, I have a lot of feelings about Ryan Reynolds.
21:47
SPEAKER_00: I'll talk about him right now.
21:49
SPEAKER_00: He is very sinister to me.
21:51
SPEAKER_00: There is something very dark about him, I think.
21:54
SPEAKER_00: I've heard things like years and years ago when you you know, I'm big in the celebrity gossip world.
22:00
SPEAKER_00: So going back to like late 2000s when he was first with Scarlet, I used to hear things about him being a wicked asshole to people.
22:07
SPEAKER_00: He was like super intense.
22:08
SPEAKER_00: All this stuff with Blake Lively with the lawsuit with Justin Baldoni, a lot of the stuff that came out was really fucking weird.
22:13
SPEAKER_00: Did you see when he like sent the message to Justin Baldoni and he like talked about his taint in it?
22:19
SPEAKER_00: His own taint?
22:20
SPEAKER_00: His own taint, yeah.
22:21
SPEAKER_00: But like something weird.
22:23
SPEAKER_00: It was like a lot of weird stuff.
22:24
SPEAKER_00: He strikes me as the kind of guy who's the life of the party at the party, and then he gets in the car and he's like, Why the fuck weren't you laughing at me to his wife, you know?
22:32
SPEAKER_01: Like that.
22:33
SPEAKER_00: And flips the switch.
22:34
SPEAKER_00: But if you go and look at Scarlett Johansson and Blake Lively's IMDBs, pretty much the minute they get married to him, there's nothing.
22:44
SPEAKER_00: It like slows down.
22:46
SPEAKER_00: Scarlett Johansson did like five movies in the year before she got with him and then was with him.
22:51
SPEAKER_00: Nothing, nothing.
22:52
SPEAKER_00: Maybe one movie, maybe two movies.
22:54
SPEAKER_00: And then as soon as they get divorced, she's like five, six movies again.
22:57
SPEAKER_00: And I've heard that he likes his wife to be at home.
23:00
SPEAKER_00: Wow.
23:01
SPEAKER_00: Like he likes to be like the alpha male.
23:03
SPEAKER_00: And I think that that's part of the weirdness of the whole Justin Baldoni thing.
23:08
SPEAKER_01: So I wonder, so is Justin Baldoni not a a villain in this story?
23:12
SPEAKER_00: I think that they're both kind of a villain.
23:13
SPEAKER_00: I think Justin Baldoni's a fucking weirdo.
23:15
SPEAKER_00: And I think he probably did do things to make Blake Lively uncomfortable.
23:20
SPEAKER_00: I also think that Blake Lively probably acted in a way or was flirty or did something that this is all alleged.
23:27
SPEAKER_00: This is my opinion, just putting this out of here.
23:30
SPEAKER_00: I think that she was acting in a way, because if you see videos of them, they're very flirty.
23:34
SPEAKER_00: And I think she was probably acting in a way or doing something that she was uncomfortable with Ryan seeing and knowing about and knowing about.
23:43
SPEAKER_00: And I think Justin Baldoni also did some weird shit.
23:46
SPEAKER_00: So I think they're both at fault here.
23:48
SPEAKER_01: And you think that like she kind of had to play it up as almost a victim so that she's so angry with her, meaning Ryan.
23:55
SPEAKER_00: So yeah, so Ryan wouldn't be pissed at her because I think he's very, very, very controlling.
24:00
SPEAKER_00: That is my opinion.
24:01
SPEAKER_00: All right.
24:01
SPEAKER_00: Wow.
24:02
SPEAKER_00: I mean, also, like, why do you have so many businesses?
24:04
SPEAKER_00: Fucking enjoy your family.
24:06
SPEAKER_01: I know.
24:06
SPEAKER_01: And what about the and this and now Colin Colin Jose with Scarlett is kind of a strange relationship, but I think I really I really like him.
24:14
SPEAKER_00: No, I like him.
24:14
SPEAKER_00: I like when people ask him about like, oh, I heard you guys are like the top, you made like 450 million dollars in movies.
24:22
SPEAKER_00: He's like, Yeah, the two of us together did.
24:24
SPEAKER_00: I just made like two million and she made the other 448 or whatever.
24:29
SPEAKER_00: Like he's very he seems very happy to take a back seat.
24:32
SPEAKER_01: But you should watch the pop culture Jeopardy.
24:35
SPEAKER_00: I'm a little bit bitter about it because we tried out for it and they didn't accept us.
24:38
SPEAKER_01: Who's you?
24:39
SPEAKER_00: Me, you?
24:40
SPEAKER_00: Oh, that that yeah, that was what we tried out for.
24:43
SPEAKER_00: And they didn't accept us, we would have crushed that thing.
24:46
SPEAKER_00: I know.
24:46
SPEAKER_00: I watched it and I'm like, this is embarrassing.
24:49
SPEAKER_01: I I watch it with Jack and I get like, I'm like, I would like if you counted up, I would win every time.
24:54
SPEAKER_01: And that means you must clean.
24:56
SPEAKER_00: Well, no, because I think also the big key is the fact that like me, you, and Becca, I think would be incredible because we all have different areas of knowledge.
25:05
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we would crush that.
25:06
SPEAKER_00: We would crush it.
25:07
SPEAKER_00: I know.
25:07
SPEAKER_00: We should try again.
25:08
SPEAKER_00: Maybe we'll try again.
25:09
SPEAKER_00: A throwback here, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.
25:13
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean, that was wild.
25:15
SPEAKER_00: I will never forget.
25:16
SPEAKER_00: I used to bartend in college, so I would work until like I'd come home at like 2 a.m.
25:20
SPEAKER_00: and then I'd sit on the couch and I would watch TV until like four because I couldn't go to sleep after.
25:25
SPEAKER_00: So I would tape things and I taped him on the Oprah show that day.
25:29
SPEAKER_00: I remember.
25:30
SPEAKER_00: And I'm watching it and I'm like so confused about what is happening.
25:35
SPEAKER_01: Can't believe what you're seeing, like with the cat.
25:37
SPEAKER_00: I couldn't believe what I was seeing.
25:38
SPEAKER_00: I actually ended up calling my mom because my mom was in Rhode Island, so she was three hours later, and she would wake up at 5 a.m.
25:44
SPEAKER_00: to go to work because she was a teacher.
25:46
SPEAKER_00: And I remember I called her and I was like, Did you watch this yesterday?
25:49
SPEAKER_00: She was like, Yeah, that was wild.
25:51
SPEAKER_00: Him jumping on the couch.
25:52
SPEAKER_00: I mean, I know it's like in history now, so like it's not that crazy, but seeing that for the first time, psychotic.
25:59
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and and no, it was huge though at the time, though.
26:02
SPEAKER_01: It had a life of its own.
26:03
SPEAKER_01: It was like on an every news source was covering Tom Cruise jumping on the couch because he's like unhinged a little bit.
26:09
SPEAKER_01: Now there was a huge age gap there, too, right?
26:10
SPEAKER_01: Was that yeah?
26:11
SPEAKER_00: I mean, she's like my age, I'm pretty sure she's around my age.
26:15
SPEAKER_00: Dawson's Creek is my year in school.
26:17
SPEAKER_00: We graduated high school together, we went to college together, and I think she was like pretty appropriately aged.
26:22
SPEAKER_00: So she's right around my age, and Tom Cruise, I want to say, is I mean, I don't think it's that big.
26:26
SPEAKER_00: I would say he's he's probably like 15, maybe 20 years older than her.
26:30
SPEAKER_00: That's a lot.
26:31
SPEAKER_00: That is a lot at that time, too.
26:33
SPEAKER_00: And then he also dated Cher.
26:35
SPEAKER_00: Cher is is a character of her own with this stuff.
26:38
SPEAKER_01: She no, I mean Sonny Bono to start with.
26:41
SPEAKER_01: That was a huge age thing.
26:42
SPEAKER_01: And then there was like she now she dates like basically children, not children, but like men super young men.
26:48
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but why not?
26:49
SPEAKER_00: Why not?
26:50
SPEAKER_01: He's like 80 years old.
26:51
SPEAKER_00: I know, I know, but like who has a time?
26:53
SPEAKER_00: I wouldn't, I wouldn't have any interest in that.
26:55
SPEAKER_00: She on Watch What Happens Live, she said Tom Cruise was one of her top five lovers.
27:01
SPEAKER_01: Oh, well, there goes that tall, slender hanging out the window, right?
27:05
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but like, do you believe that?
27:06
SPEAKER_00: He doesn't strike me as someone that would be good in bed.
27:08
SPEAKER_00: He's hanging off the side of airplanes.
27:10
SPEAKER_00: This guy's probably pretty adventurous.
27:12
SPEAKER_00: He probably like puts his all into it.
27:13
SPEAKER_00: He probably is one of those that it's like three hours long.
27:16
SPEAKER_00: It's like, oh, just finish it up.
27:18
SPEAKER_01: I know.
27:19
SPEAKER_01: Like, what are we doing?
27:20
SPEAKER_01: At this point, uh, you know, and and he was probably, yeah, in and out.
27:25
SPEAKER_00: But I mean, if you're with Cher, I guess you gotta like she's she's made some love.
27:29
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you gotta you gotta make it happen.
27:31
SPEAKER_00: On the flip side, obviously, he was married to Nicole Kidman.
27:33
SPEAKER_00: We know this.
27:33
SPEAKER_00: Pretty normal.
27:34
SPEAKER_00: Nicole Kidman and Lenny Kravitz were engaged.
27:37
SPEAKER_00: See that I can see.
27:38
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, especially coming out of I know when some people get divorced, like they go immediately the polar opposite of the last person that they were with.
27:47
SPEAKER_00: And I would say Lenny Kravitz, you can't get any more different than Tom Cruise and Lenny Kravitz.
27:51
SPEAKER_00: And Lenny Kravitz, that's one who's this guy still He he seems like he would be a good time in bed.
27:58
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no kidding, right?
28:00
SPEAKER_01: Like washboard abs at 70 or whatever.
28:02
SPEAKER_01: He's working out in jeans.
28:04
SPEAKER_01: He still he wore those sort of flares as they went out of style and as they came back in.
28:09
SPEAKER_01: He just knew it was right.
28:11
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I know.
28:12
SPEAKER_00: He he waited about okay.
28:13
SPEAKER_00: Ryan Gosling and Sandra Bullock, that was a 17-year age gap.
28:17
SPEAKER_01: Is it just because of the age?
28:19
SPEAKER_00: I are a lot of these couples random just because of the age.
28:22
SPEAKER_01: Well, let's say that.
28:23
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I mean, I think so.
28:24
SPEAKER_01: I think that is what makes it strange.
28:26
SPEAKER_01: And also, they are wild, like yeah, because it's like, what if Sandra Bullock and Ryan Gosling?
28:32
SPEAKER_01: Like, what's the conversation about?
28:33
SPEAKER_00: I mean, I feel like probably a lot of serious actor stuff, like method acting, yeah, yeah.
28:39
SPEAKER_00: They were in a movie together, murder by numbers.
28:42
SPEAKER_00: Do you remember that?
28:42
SPEAKER_00: No, I don't.
28:43
SPEAKER_00: It was him and that weirdo kid from Dawson's Creek, I'm pretty sure, Henry, and they like murdered someone and she was the detective, but they were like in high school, so like that's weird.
28:55
SPEAKER_01: The Gosling movies, I mean, he's solid, he is, and he's so funny.
29:01
SPEAKER_00: So funny.
29:02
SPEAKER_00: I feel like Ryan Gosling is everything that Ryan Reynolds wants to be.
29:06
SPEAKER_01: Ryan Gosling in The Nice Guys or Nice Guys, it's one of the top five performances.
29:12
SPEAKER_00: When he was on SNL and they did Beavis and Butthead, do you remember that?
29:16
SPEAKER_00: That was incredible.
29:18
SPEAKER_01: He was been great over and over again on SNL.
29:20
SPEAKER_00: He's always been great though.
29:21
SPEAKER_00: Like, if you look at the range in his career, I mean, him doing Barbie was like kind of shocking because he goes for a lot of serious roles now, and he uh was incredible.
29:32
SPEAKER_01: Okay, because he is funny, he he can be he gets it, he's like really funny guy.
29:35
SPEAKER_00: He's very dry, and I love that he was like gonna marry Ava Longaria and or not Ava Longaria, Ava Mendez.
29:44
SPEAKER_00: Shit, yeah, Ava Longaria, not a desperate housewife.
29:47
SPEAKER_00: We're gonna have live this private life together.
29:50
SPEAKER_00: They go to Disneyland a lot.
29:51
SPEAKER_00: He is a Disney adult, I believe.
29:53
SPEAKER_00: So well, I mean that's where we gotta start.
29:55
SPEAKER_00: Disney adults, there's something there.
29:58
SPEAKER_00: We should do an episode just solely on Disney adults.
30:01
SPEAKER_01: Have one in my life.
30:02
SPEAKER_01: Do you?
30:02
SPEAKER_00: You do?
30:03
SPEAKER_01: Who I'll bleep it out.
30:04
SPEAKER_01: Oh, it's it's it's just a work friend.
30:06
SPEAKER_00: I've had a few brides who were the first sign is you're going, you either got engaged or you're going on your honeymoon at Disney.
30:17
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like you couldn't pay me all the money.
30:19
SPEAKER_00: And I remember I took my kids to Disney.
30:21
SPEAKER_00: We've been once, and we're gonna go again with Remy at some point.
30:24
SPEAKER_00: But I took my kids, they were like seven and nine, you know.
30:26
SPEAKER_00: We waited until they were like old enough to walk around.
30:29
SPEAKER_00: And I remember walking around and being like, I can't imagine coming here without children.
30:34
SPEAKER_00: Like, I just think of like there's so many other places, and I mean, no offense to people that want to go there for like the rides or whatever.
30:40
SPEAKER_00: The rides aren't even that good.
30:41
SPEAKER_00: Now I'm talking solely Magic Kingdom.
30:43
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, have you have you brought your kids there?
30:46
SPEAKER_01: No, I haven't.
30:47
SPEAKER_01: I went when I was 16 years old with a girlfriend.
30:50
SPEAKER_01: Oh god, you would, you would, but you know, I I'm I want to bring the kids, but I keep having one that's too young.
30:56
SPEAKER_01: But we're getting I mean, Henry's probably so we I'm talking the next couple of years.
31:00
SPEAKER_01: We're probably doing it.
31:01
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so here's what you need to know the tickets are$195 a piece.
31:05
SPEAKER_00: So it was almost$900 just for one day at the Magic Kingdom for my family of four.
31:11
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, what's that getcha?
31:13
SPEAKER_01: The whole thing?
31:13
SPEAKER_01: You don't worry about anything when you're there.
31:15
SPEAKER_00: What do you mean?
31:16
SPEAKER_01: Eat and everything.
31:16
SPEAKER_00: It's like no, it's just to walk through the door of the Magic Kingdom.
31:21
SPEAKER_00: So just to lay it out for you, we went to Florida.
31:25
SPEAKER_00: My dad gifted us plane tickets to Florida because he lives down there for Christmas.
31:30
SPEAKER_00: So we stayed with my dad for the first three days.
31:32
SPEAKER_00: So we only had to pay for a hotel for four days.
31:34
SPEAKER_00: He rented us a car, so we had to pay for the hotel for four days, food for four days, and the tickets to Magic Kingdom and Universal Studios we went to.
31:44
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
31:44
SPEAKER_00: And it was like almost six thousand dollars.
31:47
SPEAKER_00: Okay, that sounds all right.
31:48
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, we just went to Jamaica for like five grand for an and at all inclusive.
31:53
SPEAKER_01: Honestly, we drove to New Hampshire, and that was good.
31:58
SPEAKER_00: Well, I know that's the thing.
32:00
SPEAKER_00: Like with my kids, I'm not uh let's travel with my children.
32:04
SPEAKER_00: I'm uh I do now more that they're older and Remy was younger this year, so it was fine.
32:10
SPEAKER_00: But we were like Santa's village, you know?
32:13
SPEAKER_00: That was our first really big trip.
32:16
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you go and you you go out to E and you stay in a you stay, it's all kind of it's all vacation.
32:21
SPEAKER_00: I know, I know.
32:22
SPEAKER_00: I I we'll go again.
32:23
SPEAKER_00: I'm thinking we'll go again when she is out of the nap zone.
32:28
SPEAKER_00: So I'm thinking when she's lady like because also like my kids are older, so I don't want them to be like 18.
32:32
SPEAKER_00: Did your kids say I want to go to Disney?
32:34
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean they've always wanted to go.
32:36
SPEAKER_00: They were more excited about Universal because Crosby loved Harry Potter, but we went, we got there at like 10 a.m.
32:42
SPEAKER_00: and by seven, they were like, All right, I'm good.
32:44
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's millions of the rides.
32:47
SPEAKER_00: I remember we we went on It's a Small Worlds and we got off and Crosby was like, What was that?
32:55
SPEAKER_00: Yeah Like, what the hell just happened right now?
33:01
SPEAKER_01: Oh so I remember that actually.
33:02
SPEAKER_01: I remember going on that, and even like poof, I guess that was about I mean, we're pushing we're pushing 30 years now.
33:08
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
33:10
SPEAKER_00: I mean, I would maybe go with Tucker and like take mushrooms.
33:14
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, then you're gonna have fun.
33:16
SPEAKER_00: You know that sounds awesome.
33:17
SPEAKER_00: Okay, what about Hillary Duff and Joel Madden?
33:20
SPEAKER_00: Now, this is a sketchy one because she was 16 and he was 25.
33:25
SPEAKER_01: That is super sketchy, yeah.
33:26
SPEAKER_01: But it gets less problematic as time goes on.
33:28
SPEAKER_01: What do you mean?
33:29
SPEAKER_01: Well, because when she's 25.
33:31
SPEAKER_00: Well, obviously, Greg.
33:34
SPEAKER_00: I don't say like obviously, like, yeah, in 10 years when she's 26 and he's 35, that's not weird.
33:41
SPEAKER_00: Like, of course, but she was 16 and he was 25.
33:44
SPEAKER_00: Well, how is that legal?
33:45
SPEAKER_00: I it might have been the age of consent might be 16.
33:48
SPEAKER_00: You don't wanna you don't wanna be like wondering what the age of consent is when you start no if you're googling age of consent, just don't don't do it, don't do it.
33:56
SPEAKER_00: I know, like I'm trying to picture like Dylan comes home.
33:59
SPEAKER_00: I'm not I don't even know like what is the Dylan's 16 and she comes home and her boyfriend's 19.
34:04
SPEAKER_00: I'm like emo.
34:06
SPEAKER_00: That's uh I don't know like in Did you ever watch Parenthood?
34:10
SPEAKER_00: Oh yeah, Keanu Reeves, no, the TV show.
34:12
SPEAKER_00: No, so Hattie in it was 16 and she started dating Michael B.
34:17
SPEAKER_00: Jordan, who was 19, and he was a recovering alcoholic with his own apartment, but like he was such a great guy that the parents eventually like let it happen, and he ended up breaking up with her because she was too immature for him.
34:29
SPEAKER_00: But that's a tricky situation.
34:31
SPEAKER_00: His own apartment.
34:32
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'm good.
34:32
SPEAKER_00: I'm not doing it.
34:33
SPEAKER_00: Well, although I don't have daughters.
34:35
SPEAKER_01: No, you don't have daughters, yeah.
34:37
SPEAKER_01: So it's kind of different.
34:38
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so like your son comes home at 16 as a 19-year-old girlfriend, you're like, Great job.
34:44
SPEAKER_00: Nice work.
34:45
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, said high vibe, right?
34:47
SPEAKER_00: So and then I thought we could do oh, Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher.
34:56
SPEAKER_01: Okay.
34:57
SPEAKER_00: Age, age, it's a lot of age.
35:00
SPEAKER_01: Well, look, I mean, let's be honest, it it does get weird.
35:03
SPEAKER_00: It does get weird, and I think the thing that's I'm noticing is a lot of these age gap situations, it's because the woman's older.
35:13
SPEAKER_01: I knew you were gonna say that, but Tom Cruise wasn't that case.
35:15
SPEAKER_00: No, Tom Cruise wasn't that case.
35:17
SPEAKER_00: And then I think we'll do one more, and then I think we're good here.
35:20
SPEAKER_00: Madonna, you ready for this list?
35:22
SPEAKER_01: Yes, I can already think of one, but yes, yeah, think of it.
35:25
SPEAKER_00: Tell me everyone you can think of.
35:27
SPEAKER_00: Dennis Rodman, uh, that wasn't even on my list.
35:31
SPEAKER_00: Of course, you would go there.
35:32
SPEAKER_00: Are you ready?
35:33
SPEAKER_00: You ready for this list of random dates?
35:36
SPEAKER_00: Sean Penn, obviously she was married to.
35:38
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, Warren Beatty.
35:40
SPEAKER_00: Okay, after they started Dick Tracy together, Tupac.
35:44
SPEAKER_00: You ready?
35:44
SPEAKER_00: I'm I'm still going.
35:46
SPEAKER_00: Vanilla Ice and Basquiat.
35:49
SPEAKER_00: Oh, the painter.
35:50
SPEAKER_00: The painter.
35:51
SPEAKER_01: Okay.
35:52
SPEAKER_01: Which one's the weirdest?
35:54
SPEAKER_01: Well, she misjudged the vanilla ice thing.
35:56
SPEAKER_01: She thought this guy was skyrocketing to me.
36:00
SPEAKER_01: I mean, it could have been, but yeah, you know.
36:06
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it was a good song, but like you don't know.
36:08
SPEAKER_00: You don't know until you know.
36:10
SPEAKER_00: You know, yeah.
36:11
SPEAKER_00: I would say maybe Tupac, I'm not sure how real Tupac was, if that was a real thing.
36:16
SPEAKER_00: I would say that might be the weirdest.
36:18
SPEAKER_00: Because Dennis Rodman, like, she was crazy, you know.
36:23
SPEAKER_01: Like sort of being effeminate.
36:24
SPEAKER_01: Oh, you think he's gay?
36:26
SPEAKER_01: I'm I'm I'm I'm just asking if you've seen the videos.
36:29
SPEAKER_00: I have not.
36:29
SPEAKER_00: I have not.
36:30
SPEAKER_01: Well, some, you know, I I don't know.
36:33
SPEAKER_01: I can't, you know, like they maybe they had orgies.
36:37
SPEAKER_00: This day and age, AI, who knows.
36:39
SPEAKER_00: Well, I think it's tough too, with like I know like with black men in that community, any kind of like sexual stuff is not readily accepted.
36:46
SPEAKER_00: There was a movie about it.
36:47
SPEAKER_00: Moonlight won an Oscar.
36:48
SPEAKER_00: Was it about a gay person?
36:50
SPEAKER_00: It was about like a black man in the like tough neighborhood being gay.
36:54
SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah and how like you can't you kind of like can't really do that.
36:59
SPEAKER_01: Well, my Aunt Jean, I'm pretty sure, was never got married or anything like that.
37:03
SPEAKER_01: It's tough in the Catholic neighborhoods too, back in the 80s.
37:06
SPEAKER_00: Your Aunt Jean?
37:08
SPEAKER_00: So not a black man growing up in a rough neighborhood.
37:12
SPEAKER_01: It's tough for the Aunt Jeans out there too.
37:15
SPEAKER_00: All right.
37:16
SPEAKER_00: On that note, I think that we've I think we did it.
37:18
SPEAKER_01: I think we did it too.
37:19
SPEAKER_01: I mean, I hope I didn't go out too much on this mic.
37:22
SPEAKER_01: We need to it's probably the kids smash this thing or something.
37:26
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
37:26
SPEAKER_00: It could be my connection too.
37:28
SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
37:28
SPEAKER_00: All right.
37:29
SPEAKER_00: Well, thank you for joining us, and we will see you next week.
37:32
unknown: Yeah.
37:32
unknown: Okay.
37:33
unknown: Thank you.
37:34
unknown: Thank you.
37:35
unknown: Thank you.
37:36
unknown: Thank you.
