- 3:43sorry, y'all, I have to switch over to my computer for my phone
- 3:46right before the show tonight because my computer went haywire. I was on a
- 3:51podcast right before this show and it kind of threw things off a little bit.
- 3:54I'm gonna I'm not going to schedule anymore podcast before my show anymore,
- 3:58y'all. I'm sorry, but anyways, let's get to our guest tonight,
- 4:01Okay, shall we? All right? Okay? Wayne Sothrow is the host
- 4:08of the Paranormal Odyssey podcast as well as the founder and president of Manimal Research,
- 4:13a small sasquatch research organization based out of Southeast Tennessee. Manimal was formed
- 4:18in twenty nineteen, and Wayne has led many field investigations in the years since
- 4:25starting the group and has uncovered some interesting evidence along the way. Okay.
- 4:30Also, Wayne was approached in twenty twenty two to take over the hosting duties
- 4:35of the Paranormal Odyssey podcast after hosting his own YouTube channel on the subject of
- 4:40big Footsis twenty twenty. He's well respected in the community and clearly displays a
- 4:45passion for the subject. And I'm gonna get my act together here, y'all
- 4:49and please help me. Welcome to the show tonight, my buddy Wayne.
- 4:54What's up, Wayne? Than you have been tonight? Yes, you know
- 5:01what, I just did a podcast like right before the show and it completely
- 5:06I think it like overheated my computer or something. I'm not sure what happened.
- 5:11So yeah, I feel like I'm juggling a bunch of plates right now.
- 5:14That's what I'm doing. But it's so good to have you here.
- 5:16Thank you so very much. You're you're handling it well, Thank you,
- 5:21thank you. I'm just a big old hot mess. I'm just glad that
- 5:25I made it on air tonight. That's all I'm worried about. And so
- 5:29it doesn't matter if I'm sweating bullets. It's okay. We're gonna get through
- 5:31this because we're having a good time. We always have a good time here
- 5:34at Space Out Radio. Actually, and Wayne, I had a really good
- 5:38time hanging out with you on your show. We just did a two part
- 5:41series, okay on over at Paranormal Odyssey. So tell my audience a little
- 5:46bit about your your podcast and uh and kind of let's let's talk about how
- 5:51you got into big footing a little bit too, all right, Well,
- 5:56which one you want to jump into first? Because I got into the big
- 6:00footing first. So absolutely, let's go with the big footing first, because
- 6:04you actually research some of the areas that I researched with my team. Yeah,
- 6:11it was back in twenty nineteen. I've always had a livelong interest in
- 6:16cryptids and mainly you know, big Boot is king. You know, he's
- 6:20the top dog went when you talk about cryptids, and always had an interest
- 6:25in I you know, when I was a kid, get to go to
- 6:27the library once a week and check out a book or a couple of books
- 6:30and keep those for a week and then you come back and you put them,
- 6:33you know, turn them in, get another book. And I was
- 6:35always checking out anything on cryptids that I could find. Bigfoot, Locknous Monster
- 6:40at Troup of Carbre you know all that gets stuff. But like I said,
- 6:44big Boot was king, and back in two thousand and nineteen, I
- 6:48was working a job about an hour from my house, about fifty five minute
- 6:54drive there and then a fifty five minute drive back, and my car went
- 6:59down, so I had to put it in the shop, and I borrowed
- 7:01an extra pickup truck from my dad. So I'm driving this no truck his
- 7:06truck back and forth to work. And the second day I have his truck,
- 7:10the radio goes out. I'm like, what the heck for two hours
- 7:15a day driving with nothing to listen to. That's when I discovered podcasts.
- 7:20So I started listening to a cryptid podcasts and I loved it. I was
- 7:25just I was hooked. But I kept finding myself wishing that everyone would shut
- 7:30up about everything else and just get back to Bigfoot, because that's all I
- 7:33was really interested in. And I thought, there's no way there's gonna be
- 7:40an entire podcast dedicated strictly to Bigfoot and low and behold, I found one,
- 7:45No Sad Squats Chronicles. That's where I think everybody gets their start in
- 7:49the Bigfoot no podcasting realm. So I found it and I started listening to
- 7:55it, binging the hell out of it every chance I got, and I
- 7:58found out people were we're actually going out into the woods and looking for this
- 8:03thing. And I had always thought they were out west, you know,
- 8:05Oregon, Washington, California. And I started listening. In one particular episode,
- 8:13this gentleman talked about having an encounter. He lives in a small town
- 8:18about forty five minutes north of Chattanooga, Tennessee. I'm like, I live
- 8:22forty five minutes north of Chattanooga, Tennessee. And then what he was talking
- 8:26about my town And he was talking about a place, a recreation area that
- 8:31I go to and he had had an encounter in there. I'm like,
- 8:35what in the hell? So I just I started looking into it, you
- 8:39know, to getting out in the woods and doing this stuff on my own,
- 8:43and I found out a lot of people were doing it. I looked
- 8:46into joining other groups, like I'm not going to mention them, but y'all
- 8:50know, yeah, and to uh looking and joining other groups, and I
- 8:56just saw so much negativity, Jessica. I mean, it's like everyone puts
- 9:00everyone down. If you don't eve a certain way the same way that another
- 9:05person does, you're wrong, or you're a liar, or you're a hoax
- 9:09or And I just didn't want any of that I didn't want anything to do
- 9:11with it, so minimal research was born. I started getting out in the
- 9:16woods and I really I put it. To be honest, I put an
- 9:20ad on Craigslist to meet people that, you know, we're interested in it,
- 9:24and I was blown away at the response that I got. So many
- 9:30people were interested in this subject, and I meant really really cool people.
- 9:33Yeah. Wow, So I got my start into bigfooton that's amazing. You
- 9:37know what my min actually was like opposite of that, because I started doing
- 9:41bigfoot research before I even knew there were podcasts about bigfoots and things like that.
- 9:46I mean, I didn't really listen to podcast back then because I started
- 9:50doing this back in twenty eleven, so it's been a while. And that
- 9:52was before anybody had like a big foot sticker on the back of their car,
- 9:58you know, like big Bigfoot wasn't it wasn't like real popular like it
- 10:01is today. And that's why I didn't go public for so long. I
- 10:05waited ten years to even go public at all about my research and the stuff
- 10:11that we've been doing. And so, yeah, what year was that when
- 10:15you first started. I'm doing your bigfoot research twenty nineteen twenty nineteen. Yeah,
- 10:20it was getting a little more popular by then, I think because they
- 10:24had Finding Bigfoot on TV and shows like that. Yeah, and since I've
- 10:31been doing this, I have since I wish I would have gotten started around
- 10:35the time you did, or even before, because I mean, there's no
- 10:39telling what I could have seen if I would have dedicated more time to or
- 10:41any time to it at all back then, and I had it twenty years
- 10:46or so that I've been looking into this, It's no telling what I could
- 10:50have seen by now, you know exactly well. I bet you've seen a
- 10:52lot of cool stuff though, And so you're not out there just looking for
- 10:56Bigfoot, right, I mean you don't you kind of cover all the paranormal
- 11:00subjects or is it mostly just Bigfoot? As far as my research and getting
- 11:05out in the field, it's it's only Bigfoot. The show that I host,
- 11:09Paranormal Odyssey. I talk to people that do everything, you know.
- 11:13I talked to paranormal investigators, ghost hunters, several psychic mediums. I've talked
- 11:20to alien people you have, I'm sorry, people are interested in UFOs,
- 11:24aliens and stuff like that. Just anything weird I talk about over there on
- 11:28paranormal odyssey. Yeah, it's like a mixed bag of everything. I've loved
- 11:33that. And what do you think about the paranormal like everything being connected?
- 11:39Do you believe there's a connection between Bigfoot and dogman, UFOs, like ghost
- 11:43all that kind of stuff. Is there some kind of weird connection there?
- 11:46You know what, Jessica, when when I first started this, you could
- 11:50not convince me that Bigfoot was anything other than a biological creature, blessing blood,
- 11:56just a North American primate that we haven't caught up with yet. That's
- 12:01all it was to me and anybody talking about seeing them get out of UFO
- 12:05or cloaking or disappearing in the woods. I mean I didn't want to hear
- 12:09any of that. I mean I respected your opinion and everything, but I
- 12:13just I didn't believe it. I didn't want anything to do with it.
- 12:16But since I've been talking to people since twenty nineteen and really twenty twenty when
- 12:20I started my show on YouTube, I mean I've really come full circle.
- 12:26I believe. I mean, these people were seeing they're legit. I mean
- 12:30there are some some respected, you know, just well versed people that are
- 12:35seeing things and it's becoming more accepted, and these people are seeing I mean,
- 12:41you listen to them and they're truly they're afraid. You know what they
- 12:45saw It really messed with them. So they saw something. So I've come
- 12:48full circle. I really believe that there's so much more to this topic than
- 12:54I don't know. So to answer your question, that was really a long
- 12:56winded answer, but yeah, I think that it's very possible that they all
- 13:01could be connected. Yeah yeah, okay, So can you understand why I
- 13:05didn't go public for ten years? I guess because you know, when I
- 13:09did go public, I'm not gonna lie. The first the first public appearance
- 13:13I made was kind of unannounced. Nobody knew who I was. But then
- 13:16my name started getting out there a little bit, and I started getting smear
- 13:18campaigns, you know, from like Bigfoot hoax or groups and stuff like oh
- 13:22this girl, she's crazy, she's into the woo, you know, and
- 13:26all that kind of stuff. Because I knew it might it might have been
- 13:28an issue, but I didn't know that I was going that there are people
- 13:31that are so dead set on, you know, Bigfoot not being any kind
- 13:37of paranormal supernatural being, you know. So so I took some bullets.
- 13:41I'm not gonna lie I did. And uh and so shout out into all
- 13:46my my boots on the groundfield researchers out there that that are putting information out
- 13:50there though, you know, and and for even having an open mind,
- 13:52Wayne, right, I mean, what how do how important is it to
- 13:56have an open mind about all this? I think if you don't have an
- 14:00and mine, you should stay at home and definitely keep shut. I mean,
- 14:05you just you should just shut up. If you're not willing to hear
- 14:09other people out and just consider what they say they've seen, then you you're
- 14:18doing a disjustice to the field. I believe we're not going you know,
- 14:22I say it so many times on my show. Shows like yours and like
- 14:26mine are the best research that we have because we can get out, you
- 14:33know, you know, you get out your boots on the ground, on
- 14:35boots on the ground. We can get out and do all that you know
- 14:39stuff, all that research all the time, all day long, and nine
- 14:43times out of ten, we're not going to come across anything. Anybody that
- 14:46says they find something every time they go out there lying it's not possible.
- 14:50But when you and I interview these people that have seen something. That is
- 14:58the best way that that we have. That's the best tool that we have
- 15:01to learn about these things until we have one in captivity where we have a
- 15:07body or however you feel about that. Nobody's got one tied up in their
- 15:11basement. Nobody we There's no other way to study these things other than getting
- 15:18out in the field, don't we do which is limited or listening to people
- 15:22that have witnessed them. No, I witnesses encounters are the best tool that
- 15:26we have right now. In my opinion, that's right, and I love
- 15:31them or leave them. You know, there's certain big foot field research groups.
- 15:35You know, there's one in particular, actually b fro O that you
- 15:39know, my I don't necessarily I've never been a part of that group before.
- 15:43I think they're a great organization, but I know that from interviewing people
- 15:48and having some of the guys on my team being a part of that.
- 15:50You know, they're not real big on adding like UFOs to their field reports
- 15:54and things like that, you know, but it's a it's a great place
- 15:58to start off if you're wanting to get in a big footfield research right But
- 16:02they have great reports, like they do take reports. I think that's so
- 16:06important for the research is knowing where those reports are and like getting an idea
- 16:11of like where are these and you can access all those reports online on their
- 16:14website. Okay, and yes, it's so important, right yeah, I
- 16:21mean you can think whatever you want about the bf R. Oh, you
- 16:23know, we all have our opinions about them. They won't accept anything I
- 16:29get woo, I guess, I mean, I don't know who, but
- 16:33they won't accept anything like that. But and most field researchers and just by
- 16:38any that I know, the first thing you do when you have a new
- 16:42area that you want to go and look in, the first thing you do
- 16:45is you go on the bfr O and you pull up that county and you
- 16:48see how many encounters they have they've had there. Yes, that's an awesome
- 16:52tool. It really is that. I mean, that is a great thing
- 16:56that they're doing for the community. I mean them or hate them, they
- 17:00got it right, they do. I think it's so important. Now,
- 17:04as a researcher, have you ever reported any of your bigfoot sightings or any
- 17:10kind of sighting that you've ever had to an organization, because I haven't.
- 17:14No, I mean it kind of defeats. I know, right, yeah,
- 17:18you know I'll keep them for myself. I know I do too,
- 17:22and so like I'm always telling people it's important to make those reports, but
- 17:26see, I keep it with my team. I guess, so, I
- 17:30don't know. It's a there's a double standard when it comes to field researchers.
- 17:33I guess, right, yeah, maybe we shouldn't be that way,
- 17:37but I don't know. Right, Well, let's see what yours. Yeah,
- 17:41I mean even with UFOs, like with a move on, Right,
- 17:45I've seen many u of oos in my lifetime, some up clothes and uh,
- 17:48and I have never reported a single one of those to move on or
- 17:52anybody but my team most Jessica, have you ever seen orbs? Did we
- 17:56talk about that when you were wrong? Yes, Oh my gosh, Yes,
- 18:00I have seen many orbs, and I've seen different types of orbs.
- 18:03Now what about you, Wayne, have you seen orbs? I've never.
- 18:07This is what I tell people. I might be able to mark one of
- 18:10these off of my list, but there's just a few things that I haven't
- 18:14experienced one going out there that are traditionally reported in bigfoot sidings. You know
- 18:19you've got the smell I've never smelt one. I've never smelled that smell.
- 18:25I've never I've never seen orbs. But orbs is fairly new, you know
- 18:29that that's a fairly new phenomenon, or for me anyway, I've never noticed
- 18:33that. I've never seen an orb. And the third thing which I think
- 18:37I can scratch off my list now is I've never had anything thrown at me.
- 18:41But this past nothing, this past weekend. I was at the Smoky
- 18:45Mountain Conference this past weekend, but the weekend before that, I was on
- 18:48an expedition up in above Knoxville, Tennessee. A family having some issues at
- 18:53their vacation home, so they allowed us to go up in camp for a
- 18:56couple of days. Beautiful cabin out in just the middle of nowhere. I
- 19:02wish they would have left us the key so we could stay inside, but
- 19:04we haven't quite got to that point yet. Oh yeah, we camped out
- 19:10on their property and we just had a crazy weekend. There was so much
- 19:12stuff that go that went on. I shared a video where we got some
- 19:15eyeshine. Not saying it was big, but I shine, but there was
- 19:19something that was looking at us. But getting back to the rock throwing,
- 19:25these people, Like I said, they had a cabin, and like most
- 19:27cabins, they had a tin roof. If an acorn or something falls on
- 19:32a roof, that makes a very distinct sound. If something hits the side
- 19:37of a house or a garage or just a board, that makes a completely
- 19:41different sound. About Yeah, it was about one or two o'clock in the
- 19:45afternoon. We were just sitting around, you know, just bs and talking,
- 19:52and a rock hit the side of the house with some velocity. I
- 19:56mean it was moving and it hit the side of the house. I bring
- 20:00up the ten roof thing because it wasn't anything falling, because that made a
- 20:06completely different sound. I got up and I threw some rocks up on the
- 20:08roof just so we could hear the difference. And it was something something got
- 20:15thrown against the house. I'm very confident in saying. But it only happened
- 20:18to one time, That's what That's what really troubles me, because you think
- 20:23that if it was a big boot or something like that, and they were
- 20:26trying to get our attention or trying to get us to leave, they would
- 20:29have done it more than once. So that's what I can't really understand.
- 20:33So my those three things. The smell I've never experienced, the orbs,
- 20:37I haven't experience and maybe I've experienced it something thrown at me. Oh my
- 20:42gosh, I've had all that happened to me, Wayne, all of it,
- 20:47and and well, no, it's just it's it's been such an experience,
- 20:52right. I mean, I've been camping up at one of our most
- 20:56i'm gonna say the hottest spot, like a hot We have a lot of
- 20:57hot spots that we do our research at, but we have this one in
- 21:02particular, right up in North Georgia. And one night we had something came
- 21:07into our base camp and screamed at us really loud, and then it proceeded
- 21:11all night to throw acorns and rocks at our tents all night, and and
- 21:17the thing was like we could hear the acorns falling from the trees from like
- 21:19up to down. But then these things were going like you could hear the
- 21:26velocity, like you could hear it like going sideways and hitting the side of
- 21:30our tents all night. So, yeah, I know exactly what you're talking
- 21:33about. I think we talked a little bit about that on my show,
- 21:37about that inexperience. It reminds me y'all stayed right, You stayed all night.
- 21:42Yes, we always stay We're not we ain't scared. Is that the
- 21:47time that that you were talking about y'all got real sleepy? Yes, we
- 21:52all went to bed. Yeah, well we all Well, okay, so
- 21:56that happens a lot of times, right when we're out there and we have
- 22:00a lot of activity going on, a lot of And I've had other people
- 22:03tell me the same thing, who are out there doing boots on the ground
- 22:07research. You have a lot of activity in the middle of the night,
- 22:11you should normally stay up all night and keep watch right and do some investigating.
- 22:17Well, we just kind of I just thought it was because we've been
- 22:21doing this for so long, you know, like we're just we're out there,
- 22:23and plus like we're all getting older, you know, we're tired.
- 22:27Yeah, this has been a while. We would do this a long time,
- 22:30and so when when the going gets tough, we just go to bed
- 22:34sometimes, you know, if it's in the base camp. But I can
- 22:37tell you, Wayne, not a single one of us fell asleep that whole
- 22:41night. But we all went into our tents and you know, and I
- 22:45know nobody went to sleep because nobody snored okay, and uh, and we
- 22:48were all getting pelted with rocks and acorns all night. But but yeah,
- 22:52there's something that happens. It's almost that's why I feel like there's an et
- 22:55element, like an extraterrestrial potentially extraterrestrial element. When we're having this bigfoot activity,
- 23:02we're having this like interdimensional activity going on out there. I think that
- 23:06I feel like there's some kind of extraterrestrial element to it, and it kind
- 23:10of like puts you to sleep or something. It's really odd or at least
- 23:14makes you want to go down. Yeah, well, what do you think
- 23:17about infrasound? Do you think that could I think that's part of it.
- 23:21Yeah, I think that could totally be part of it. So I since
- 23:26you you've touched on that, I've touched on it a few times talking on
- 23:30my show. It it seems like every time when I go out, when
- 23:34I'm laying down at night and I'm asleep, something wakes me. And not
- 23:40every time, but a lot of times when I go out, something wakes
- 23:42me from a dead sleep, and I know that there's something out there.
- 23:48I know that something woke me up. But I and that's the reason I'm
- 23:52there I'm there to have the experience together, information and evidence, but I
- 23:57cannot make myself get out of bed and go. Look. It's like I'll
- 24:02fall back to sleep. And normally, if you feel like something's walking around
- 24:07or someone's walking around in your camp while you're trying to sleep, you're not
- 24:10going to go back to sleep. You're gonna be on high alert. Right,
- 24:12Well, you'd think that, Yeah, you think that. That's not
- 24:17how it works. So why is it if it was a prowler, if
- 24:22it was a person, do you think maybe we'd have a different we'd feel
- 24:26differently, we would be more alert. I don't know. Oh yeah,
- 24:30absolutely, I think so for sure. I mean, and it's not just
- 24:33one of us, it's like all of us. And I remember that one
- 24:37night, every single one of us did sit and I remember we laid in
- 24:41our cots, in our beds and our tents whatever, in the sleeping bags.
- 24:45We were all just listening, and we knew that we were all away
- 24:48because nobody was snoring. And then about halfway through the night, the head
- 24:52of my team whispers, he goes, remember we do this for fun.
- 24:57You know. It's like we're all just sitting there, just like getting pelted
- 25:00with rocks and acorns. It was almost like we were all an alert waiting
- 25:03to were We were waiting to go on the defensive if we had to,
- 25:08okay, because we didn't know what was out there, but we well,
- 25:11see, here's the thing. Like, it's almost like we wanted the experience
- 25:14of it, and we knew that if we went outside of our tents it
- 25:17was going to stop. Okay, does that make sense too? So yeah,
- 25:22so if we had emerged from our tents, it would have gone away
- 25:26probably. So maybe we were just waiting for it to walk into our camp,
- 25:30you know, that kind of a thing, because it was there.
- 25:33It was in our camp. It was just behind our tents. Yeah,
- 25:37you're telling that story has stuck with me about something running into your camp and
- 25:42screaming. That was that same night. That was what it was. I
- 25:47would poop myself, I really would. I would poop myself. Yeah,
- 25:52you wouldn't. It's not that scary. I mean it was. It was.
- 25:56It was startling, but like once you're out in the woods and you're
- 25:59doing that field reach all the time, I mean, you start having these
- 26:00experiences and it's more exciting than anything. Really, It's not it's not really
- 26:06scary once you're inoculated to it, and it happens a lot it because we're
- 26:11it's just an adventure, okay, But it's also an adventure that keeps you
- 26:15tired the next day and you'll have like circles under your eyes and stuff because
- 26:18you didn't sleep all night. But but that's why we're out there, and
- 26:22uh, and I'm out there to get the experience, just like you are.
- 26:25I want to I want to see for myself what's really out there.
- 26:30Yeah, I've had one what I believe to be one siding, and I
- 26:37got a thermal picture of it. I didn't think I should have sent it
- 26:40to you so that we could share it. I've shared today, Bore.
- 26:42If anybody's familiar with my show, they've seen it. But I'll send it
- 26:45to you when we get done. You can put it up. But yes,
- 26:49it happened on Pigeon Mountain. You know, you and I talked about
- 26:53a Pigeon Mountain. It's in Lafayette, Georgia and North Georgia. And what
- 26:59got me thinking about this was talking about, you know, the being tired
- 27:03and not being able to get up and and all that stuff. What led
- 27:07us to go back to that same spot was a couple of weeks prior.
- 27:14This was in January of twenty twenty twenty one, I believe January of twenty
- 27:18twenty one, Me and the vice president of my research organization, Animal Research,
- 27:26mister Derek Walls, I call them Walls. We were up there,
- 27:30I'm Pigeon Mountain as our first time ever being there. We went up and
- 27:36we didn't read neither of us are hunters. We didn't realize that it was
- 27:38the last weekend of deer season in North Georgia. So whenever the last weekend
- 27:44of deer season was, that's when we were there. So it was in
- 27:45January, cold as hell, just bitterly cold. So we get there.
- 27:52I check in. This is off subject, but I'll share it, okay.
- 27:56I check in with the ranger when we first get there and I go
- 27:59in. I'm meet this young man. He's in his early to mid twenties,
- 28:03very polite, personable, Yes, sir, no, sir, shook
- 28:06my hand. Great kid, just a really good kid. So I felt
- 28:10comfortable. He put me at ease. I felt comfortable saying, well,
- 28:14we're a pair going to be looking for into bigfoot reports there there have been
- 28:18reports on this mountain. Have you heard anything or seen anything, Jessica,
- 28:22I swear to God he looks me in the and he tells me bigfoot.
- 28:27No. But we've had several reports of gnomes, gnomes, gnomes, the
- 28:33little people. Huh, the little people? Yeah, no way, I've
- 28:37been hearing reports that it was more often myself. Really. Yeah, absolutely,
- 28:42the little people in your area. No, not in Georgia, No,
- 28:48North Carolina. My friend David Pardu actually has a video of some little
- 28:53people. Yeah. They We consider them to probably be aliens though in that
- 28:57video that he has, but we're not sure so. But yeah, I'm
- 29:00in Alaska. This was Georgia. We're gonna have to talk about this some
- 29:04more. This is interesting. Yeah, it was. It was on Pigeon
- 29:08Mountain. He told me that one of the people that reported seeing him was
- 29:12like a twenty plus year veteran, a ranger that worked there, and he
- 29:18told me a story and I don't remember work for work. They talked about
- 29:21they were doing some construction work there, some earthwork, had dozers and stuff
- 29:25moving stuff around, and one of the workers saw one and reported it and
- 29:30like reported to a ranger and he said that the ranger made a phone call
- 29:33to someone and twenty minutes later they completely shut the side down, told everybody
- 29:38that they had to leave. I don't know, yeah, I don't know
- 29:41how much truth there is to that. I can't don't know if there's any
- 29:45way to validate it, but it might be cool to look into I can
- 29:49believe that. Okay, I've heard that before too, that like when there's
- 29:55a dog man's sting, right, a big foot or whatever, if you
- 29:59tell it a park ranger, there's a number that they have to they call,
- 30:03like they're they're told to call this phone number, and then like the
- 30:06I don't want to see like federal agents, but like somebody shows up and
- 30:11uh and so maybe maybe that's why inherently, like I know, like not
- 30:15to report my big foot sightings and I and we're seeing this important to report
- 30:18these sightings and things like that. But like let's just say national parks for
- 30:25instance, right, national parks, Okay, we have all these people that
- 30:29are going missing right now? Is Piget Mountain International Park? Do you know
- 30:33is that a state park or national park? It's a WMA Wildlofe Management Area.
- 30:37I don't know that it's connected to any park though. Well, so
- 30:41that's federal land management then, right, Okay, so that's covered by the
- 30:45government. Yeah so yes. So when when we're out there in like the
- 30:52deep woods, we're getting these reports, we're experiencing it for ourselves. You
- 30:56know, maybe it's not the best idea to report them because they're they're getting
- 31:02these phone calls to come in and they're they're telling the rangers to call them
- 31:06or whatever to come in and either eradicate them, and what do you think
- 31:08they're doing eradicating them or Yeah, you know, that's that's touchy, Jessica.
- 31:15I mean, we don't want to tell people not to report it to
- 31:19like government officials, but there again, do we trust government officials when it
- 31:25comes to stuff like this. We absolutely want people to report them to organizations
- 31:30like ours so that we can go out and look into it. We I
- 31:36mean, I know you guys do too. I've spent so much money on
- 31:38the equipment and my organization. The people in my organization we pay dues,
- 31:44We pay monthly dues and it all goes into a pot and we buy at
- 31:48that pace for our expeditions and equipment and stuff like that. But I've spent
- 31:52a lot of money of my own on the stuff too, so reporting it
- 31:56to organizations like ours. We have the equipment and we make the time to
- 32:00go out there and look into it. But I just I don't know.
- 32:05I don't know if we should, if I should feel, if I feel
- 32:07right telling people not to report it to government officials. I guess, make
- 32:13your own mind up. I don't know. Yeah, just go with your
- 32:15gut, y'all. Go with your gut in time. That's all we can
- 32:20do. Yeah, I started talking about the gnomes and it got me off
- 32:24subject. But we were there Pigeon Mountain check in with the ranger. We
- 32:30head up there and we're thinking, last weekend of deer season, we're not
- 32:34gonna get anything. So we were bummed out. And to add to it,
- 32:39later that night, after it got dark, something happened. There was
- 32:44some kind of medical emergency. I believe a hiker or a hunter maybe got
- 32:49lost, because some trucks, some ranger trucks and an ambulance came flying down
- 32:55these dirt roads. Later that night, and we're out doing in this walk.
- 33:00It's like ten eleven o'clock at night. It's very dark outside. We're
- 33:05doing this walk and we keep hearing this helicopter come flying around the area,
- 33:10and I swear to God, this thing starts hovering over us, and we're
- 33:15like, what the hell is this helicopter doing. He's just hovering above us,
- 33:20watching us, and we think that what happens is we think that they
- 33:22had like the thermal or the infrared imaging, and they were just checking us
- 33:27out because they were looking for somebody. We think somebody either got lost or
- 33:30was hurt or something and they were looking for him. But with all that
- 33:35stuff going on, we were pretty we accepted that nothing was going to happen.
- 33:39There weren't going to be any big but out tonight. There's just too
- 33:42much going on. So we packed it up early and we were we're old,
- 33:45like you said, out of shape, tired when we ate our births.
- 33:52I'm not calling my team all of y'all. I'm not. We've just
- 33:55been doing this a long time, that's all. Yeah. Now, we
- 34:00got bad, got four and everything, and got tired, and we went
- 34:01to bed about one o'clock at nine. We usually stay up way later,
- 34:07but we went to bed, and before I did, I set my voice
- 34:10recorder on our table and I covered it up with some chips, you know,
- 34:19the small little bags of chips your mom used to put in your lunch
- 34:21box when you were a kid, like the individual party size packs. We
- 34:24bought a bunch of those, and I sat it on top of the recorder
- 34:28and we went to bed, and the tent was about ten or fifteen feet
- 34:31away from that table, and you can hear us talking inside the tent,
- 34:37you know, like people doing. You talk until you fall asleep. At
- 34:39twenty twenty five minutes later, you don't hear talking anymore. You hear snoring.
- 34:45So we're asleep, and I swear to God, now I didn't We
- 34:49didn't know what happened until a week or so later, when I was reviewing
- 34:51the audio. About twenty twenty five minutes after we went to sleep, we
- 34:55start hearing this something like something stepping walking into our camp, and then the
- 35:05chips being played with, like rustled. And then after the chips were being
- 35:09rustled, you hear and then like small feet running away, And then you
- 35:16hear that again, like something bigger walking away. We didn't see it.
- 35:24No, it's only speculation, but from what you hear, in your mind,
- 35:29you picture mama bigfoot walking into camp getting some chips, hand it,
- 35:36handing it to baby big Foot, dropping them in, baby big Foot running
- 35:38away, and Mama Bigfoot walking behind him. Did that happen? But we
- 35:43got it on audio and that's what led us to go back a couple of
- 35:47weeks later when we had where we got the thermal hit of something that was
- 35:52eight foot tall with something smaller in front of it, running around playing in
- 35:58front of it. Wow, that's fascinating. Wow that all happened right in
- 36:04your backyard. Oh listen, I believe it. I we have more big
- 36:07foot activity in the North Georgia Mountains than we have anywhere and my teams we
- 36:13researched all over the South Okay, and I've even been to Tennessee. By
- 36:15the way, I know you're up in Tennessee. I just recently did a
- 36:19field investigation of a couple's home. They have four hundred and eighty eight acres
- 36:23up in north the center of Tennessee. Like North up in it's called Whitleyville,
- 36:30Okay, so in the middle of nowhere with caves and all that,
- 36:32and they have big foot activity up there. And I know there's a lot
- 36:35of big foot activity, dog man activity, but North Georgia Mountains. I
- 36:38gotta tell you they got the most big foots. And speaking of big foots,
- 36:44we got big foot Michigan Rob in the chat. Thank you for that
- 36:45superstick or Rob. Y'all go subscribe to his channel. Please, Hello b
- 36:51tomorrow Man, thank you for being here. Yeah, and they've got big
- 36:53foots up in Michigan too, by the way, So they're everywhere, but
- 36:58of the North Georgia Mountains or where it's at if you want to have a
- 37:00big foot sighting. That's my opinion. I'm not gonna get my locations away,
- 37:06but yes, they're up there. Well, I need you to give
- 37:09me a couple I'll eat you up there sometime. Listen, we don't live
- 37:14that far from each other, so we'll be meeting up and doing a trip
- 37:16sometime. I'm gonna hold it. I've talked to a couple of members of
- 37:22my members, one in particular, mister Kevin, if you're watching, buddy,
- 37:25he commented and said that we needed to get out in the woods with
- 37:30you because you're a ball of energy, and yeah, we'd have fun out
- 37:36there. You get out and showing us some new spots. Well shoot,
- 37:40yeah, well there's there's plenty of them out there. Yeah, but the
- 37:44North Georgia Mountains are so just thick with vegetation and places for these things to
- 37:49hide. And okay, my question to you is do you think that bigfoots
- 37:53could have supernatural powers? And I know you said earlier than you do that
- 37:58you got to keep open mind. But where do they go when they're sleeping?
- 38:01Do you think that they are interdimensional beings or do you think they're just
- 38:05going into a cave or something like? Where Where are these things going at
- 38:07night or during the daytime when we see them them? Having that ability to
- 38:15go from dimension to dimensional would absolutely explain why we don't see them. It
- 38:21would. Uh, scientists won't accept that, I mean, mainstream science are
- 38:25they're never going to accept that. But you know, we can as field
- 38:30researchers as something that we can look into, So that would explain. That
- 38:34would answer the question if they had those abilities. But if they don't and
- 38:38they are flesh and blood, and this is the reason science has such a
- 38:44problem with it, because they believe that if they exist, they're flesh and
- 38:46blood, that's what they have to be, where do they go and answer
- 38:51that question? You you you hit it right on the head. I think
- 38:54they go into caves. Yeah, Pigeons Mountain is full of caves there,
- 39:00and they're everywhere up there. This area down here in the South, it's
- 39:04full of caves. I mean, they're all over the place. And people
- 39:07will argue, why if these things are so elusive, why would they back
- 39:13themselves into a corner by going into a cave. Well, we don't know
- 39:16that they're backing themselves into a corner. They've been traveling these cave systems for
- 39:21thousand years. Probably they know the ends and the outs and how where to
- 39:24go and where not to go. But I think that's just a silly argument.
- 39:29But I think cave systems is the answer. I really do. And
- 39:32I don't know. I'm sure you've seen that map that overlays missing people with
- 39:37a map of the cave systems in the US have seen, Yeah, of
- 39:43course, of course told me that someone told me that's not But really I
- 39:49don't Yeah, but I don't know. I mean, every there's always going
- 39:51to be somebody that cries bow on stuff like that. But I haven't seen
- 39:55anything scientific to tell me that it wasn't real. Until I do, I'm
- 40:00going to say that there's a connection. I think I think there could be
- 40:02a connection there. Yeah, I think there's a connection too. And now
- 40:07I gotta tell you something really interesting, right, because I'm I'm trained.
- 40:10I do tracking, right, I'm a tracker. I know how to do.
- 40:14I do human tracking, animal tracking, whatever, right. And uh,
- 40:17when I was up in Tennessee at that property, at Farah and her
- 40:22husband's property, they have this huge cave right behind their house, okay,
- 40:25and these chickens were being taken their their pet chickens were being taken Something was
- 40:30actually opening up the chicken pen taking chickens out, and the only things that
- 40:35were left of these chickens were like feathers. Okay, there's no carnage,
- 40:37no blood, no body parts, no nothing. And but there was a
- 40:40trail of feathers at one point going into that cave. Okay. So and
- 40:45there was a foot There was one footprint that looked like a sasquatch footprint beside
- 40:50the chicken coop. All right. So I go up there with a team
- 40:53of guys and we're looking through that cave, like we literally went into that
- 40:58cave. I was looking for tracks, right, I'm looking for any kind
- 41:01of sign of big foot in that cave. And I gotta tell you,
- 41:04there was a zero. There was nothing, no footprints, no sign,
- 41:10no nothing. I couldn't find anything. And he would think that, like
- 41:14there were the feathers that were going up there, there was it clearly looked
- 41:16as though a sasquash of taking those chickens. There was no sign of big
- 41:21foot at all, no footprints. Now, could they have like jumped up
- 41:24into like one of the caverns in the top of the cave and like not
- 41:28going through the main part, Yeah, totally, but those are tiny little
- 41:32caverns, so I don't know. It was just it was interesting. You
- 41:37got me really interested in that property. That Yeah, that strange, bigot.
- 41:43I mean, so something's going in there, something with hands is opening
- 41:47the chicken goop and not killing the chicken right there, but picking it up
- 41:52and carrying it at all. Now, let me ask you this, are
- 41:58they leaving chickens or or are they taking everything they can? Okay, that
- 42:02was such a great question because what my hypothesis is that they are taking the
- 42:07chickens to raise their own eggs. Okay, I don't think they're even killing
- 42:14the chickens. They took some of the hens and and it was hens and
- 42:19there was no blood. I feel like perhaps potentially they're wanting just to have
- 42:22their own eggs and raise their own chickens. Potentially that was my father.
- 42:28They don't take all the chickens drop, No, they only took a couple,
- 42:30and there was like a stick, like a long stick stuck into the
- 42:35back of the pin of it where the chickens were, Like it was poking
- 42:37at the chickens to shoe them to the front of the to where the door
- 42:42was. So it showed some intelligence, right, something with the posable thumbs
- 42:46too. That's I mean, when you get evidence like that, you the
- 42:53only thing it can be is a sasquatch or a person, you know,
- 43:00a federal person, right, you've been talking about feral people. Yeah,
- 43:06yeah, yeah, and those guys were cool, but yeah, I mean
- 43:10you narrow it down to either a sasquatch or you've got an intruder or a
- 43:15trespasser that's coming on. And have they put cameras up or anything? Oh
- 43:21yeah, Oh, there were cameras all over the place. Yeah, they
- 43:23have multiple cameras outside the house. And Pharaoh was picking up orbs and left
- 43:30recording devices out by the cave and she was picking up voices and yeah,
- 43:36the camera actually the last night that the chickens were taken, the camera had
- 43:40been moved right before the chickens were taken. Yeah, so the camera was
- 43:45actually facing in the opposite direction for the first time ever. Yeah, so
- 43:51there was no footage, so that shows intelligence too. Yo. Y'all got
- 43:57a cool blows up there? Yes, oh yeah, hey, I was.
- 44:01I was super happy to be there. It was an awesome investigation.
- 44:04I was up there with the guys from Cryptic Warfare podcast, Zook and Drew
- 44:07Ski and their friends, and we made an operation out of it. It
- 44:12was fantastic. Yeah. We ended up not getting a whole lot of cryptid
- 44:15activity up there, but we got paranormal activity. Actually in the cave.
- 44:21We picked up figures on the SLS cameras. One was a giant and there
- 44:24were two little tiny ones and they were interacting with us. Yeah. It
- 44:30was wild. Yeah, super weird stuff. They can do a whole show
- 44:34talking about that investigation. Yeah. Yeah, and hey, let me know
- 44:37if you want to, if you want me to bring since some of my
- 44:39friends over too. They can tell you all about it on your shot to
- 44:44last time. If y'all go back up there. I'd love to go with
- 44:46you. Yeah, hey, we'll tell you we're we got to plan a
- 44:49trip for sure, because we're too close in proximity to each other to not
- 44:53be going out and doing some big footing together for sure with your team.
- 44:58Yeah yeah, yeah. What is the strangest thing you've ever come across out
- 45:04in the field. The strangest thing I didn't come across it. And again,
- 45:13if we were on my stream yard, I could share this picture with
- 45:16you. But it's a guy that is new to my group. His name's
- 45:22Craig. Shout out to Craig if you're watching, buddy. But this area
- 45:27that he's been looking into, he found this old dead tree. And this
- 45:32might not be strange to a lot of you, but it's strange to me.
- 45:36There's this bound tree that's clearly dead, and there's a boulder that is
- 45:42sitting on top of it. I'm not talking to rock. I'm not talking
- 45:45like a basketball sized rock. I'm talking about a little bit smaller than a
- 45:51Volkswagen boulder sitting on top of this tree. How there's no way, no
- 45:59pastile way that it could be there, and it just it's scary to think
- 46:04about if something put that boulder there, the strength that it possesses, I
- 46:10mean, because we're talking maybe a ton that this thing weighs. And I
- 46:15showed it. I talked about it for a while on my show, and
- 46:20I showed the pictures of it. And of course we have people in there
- 46:22talking about what loggers did it. Loggers picked it up with the equipment and
- 46:27sat it on there. Why why would they do that? That doesn't make
- 46:30any sense. And it's in a state park. I don't think they do
- 46:35a whole lot of logging and state parks so, and the area around it,
- 46:43you can see that it's never been logged before. There's all kinds of
- 46:45trees there. I mean, I didn't buy that, but that was strange.
- 46:51And another guy told me that I worked with, told me about finding
- 46:53a fire hydrant, fire hydrant, a fire extinguisher underneath a down tree out
- 47:01and just miles away from anything in the woods, And I mean, how
- 47:07does that happen? Somebody just take up our extinguisher out there and throw it
- 47:09down and then a tree just happens to the ball on it. How do
- 47:14the stuff like that? Yeah, a lot of a lot of things just
- 47:17don't make sense. And so that's where we have to use our common sense
- 47:22to understand that this stuff don't make sense. Okay, that sounds southern as
- 47:25heck. I know, it just doesn't make sense a lot of it.
- 47:30But why didn't this world makes sense anymore? Wayne? That's my question?
- 47:34What makes sense anymore? Especially when you're dealing with big foot out there?
- 47:38Yeah? Do you come up well on a bunch of like X structures and
- 47:42tree structures and tps and what do you think about that kind of stuff?
- 47:45Ah see them all the time. They're they're everywhere. You know, I
- 47:51don't know, I don't know what to make of it. A lot of
- 47:53it can be explained, but like just natural, no mother nature, just
- 47:59a tree falling or limbs falling. But when when you see staplings bent over
- 48:06and then wedged between other trees, something with hands had to do it,
- 48:12and it wasn't a tornado that came through that wedge distry twelve different ways.
- 48:16And then you see like webbings, like a bunch of limbs like woven together
- 48:22and stuff. That stuff can't be explained. You know, I think they're
- 48:28they're signed. There's like symbols or signs or markers of something. Will we
- 48:34ever know what they're displaying. I don't know that we ever will, but
- 48:38I think they're markers of some sort, really do Yeah, I think that
- 48:44the X, the X markers, I think those are markers for sure.
- 48:46I think there's some kind of territorial thing. Even what I mean, if
- 48:50if they do know where the Earth's natural portals are, it could be like
- 48:52a spot like, hey, this is where we come in and out,
- 48:54you know, I mean, who knows. Everybody's got an opinion on it.
- 48:59But but I also always say, like, we can't we can't underestimate
- 49:04the power of a drunk camper or like board campers or boy scouts, you
- 49:07know what I mean, or a T shirt right and a hat. I
- 49:15think those would sell for sure. Yeah, never underestimate the potential of a
- 49:21drunk camper because you know, a lot of a lot of times like they
- 49:24will go out there and they also they'll go out there and they'll make tps
- 49:29and debris huts. And I'm not saying those are drunk campers, even though
- 49:32my team has been out there many times where we have learned and taught each
- 49:37other how to make debris huts and stuff like that. So you know when
- 49:40people send me pictures of stuff like of like debris huts and things, I
- 49:45don't really use that as like evidence on my shows and stuff because I know
- 49:47that a human probably made that. Yeah, But but it's all about doing
- 49:52it yourself, so like you know that humans are capable of doing it,
- 49:55so you don't assume everything's a big foot, you know. I guess that's
- 49:59part of the research. Yeah, I mean, I think that is the
- 50:02most important thing that we as researchers need to do. We need to when
- 50:08we see something, never assome that it's big butt and do everything we can
- 50:15to eliminate any other possibility. And I think that's what a good researcher does.
- 50:22I'm sure that's what you and your team do. Take every other scenario
- 50:27out of play, and with what you are left with was big butt,
- 50:32then present it as evidence. I think a lot of us, a lot
- 50:37of the people out there, especially with the pictures this Paradoia stuff. I
- 50:42mean, it drives me crazy. I know a lot of those pictures are
- 50:45legit, there is something there, but for everyone that there's something there,
- 50:51there's probably in my opinion, there's probably five that there's not. And I
- 50:55think I think it does a disservice to the subject. If you put out
- 51:01a piece of evidence that you're not one hundred percent certain and those pictures you
- 51:06cannot be one hundred percent certain. I'm sorry. I feel like it gives
- 51:09us a bad It gives us a bad name. It doesn't have a subject,
- 51:15a subject that has already looked down on by so many people. When
- 51:19you start putting pictures like that out at the blurry pictures and the pictures of
- 51:22a woodline that could possibly be ahead or a shoulder, that you're just hurting
- 51:29us. In my opinion, you need to be sure that you have something
- 51:31before you release it. In my opinion, yes, well, I just
- 51:37don't show the paradoia stuff on my shows and things like that. But it's
- 51:39not to say that these people aren't having real experiences out there though, you
- 51:44know, and so and I love a good account of like something that happens
- 51:50to somebody, and uh and a lot of times I'll get like my team
- 51:53we get phone calls from people like state park rangers and stuff that are like,
- 51:58I'm having all this activity here, you know, And we don't send
- 52:00the whole team out to go investigate. We usually send like one or two
- 52:04people out at the most just to go scout it, to make sure that
- 52:07what they're saying adds up, you know, before we actually send a whole
- 52:12team out there to research. And so I think that's a good rule of
- 52:15them, as they say, yea, so how many people? How many
- 52:20people you got in your organization, your group? Well, I'm on I'm
- 52:23on three different research teams. So but but we all kind of inter we
- 52:30we intermingle, like we're all like we're all kind of on each person's teams,
- 52:35Like we're all most of the same same people are on the same teams,
- 52:37but we're just in different regions. So I'm gonna say there's about fifteen
- 52:42of us. I'm just roundabout number, Yeah, about fifteen something like that.
- 52:46I'd say we've got about twelve in manimal ten to twelve. I had
- 52:51them in multiple states, and I'll try to not do that as much because
- 52:57you if someone didn't Missouri or Virginia, you can't really keep a grasp on
- 53:02what what all they're doing and everything, you know, with ten to twelve
- 53:07people. A problem I'm having, and I'm sure you are too, is
- 53:12you know, we're all adults, we all have other responsibilities, no families,
- 53:15kids and jobs. Just finding the time to get together, you know,
- 53:22that's something the problem that we're having. Yeah, because it's it's expensive
- 53:27and it's time consuming, but it's so worth it because it's so fun it
- 53:30is, and I can't wait to get out in the field with you guys
- 53:32one day. It's gonna be a lot of fun. And tell everybody,
- 53:37Okay, this hour has gone by so fast. I know I started the
- 53:39show a couple of minutes late because my computer went haywire. But this has
- 53:44been amazing. Wayne, I've had a really good time talking to you tonight.
- 53:47Where can my audience find you? What's your YouTube channel? Okay,
- 53:52I appreciate that. Yeah, if everyone would go and give me a subscribe,
- 53:57I would appreciate it. I'm right there at the two thousand mark and

- 54:02It's a Paranormal Odyssey Live is my YouTube channel there. It is a
- 54:08normal Odyssey. Well, I'm not sure if the live is on there or
- 54:14not. I think it is, but you just put in Paranormal Odyssey.
- 54:17You're you're gonna find me and my research organization is minimal research. I got
- 54:23that group on Facebook. Feel free to head over there and become a member.
- 54:29I would love to have you come and share some of your experiences the
- 54:34my YouTube channel, Paranormal Odyssey. I do a live show every Tuesday night
- 54:37at seven thirty. Some weeks, i'll do an extra one and get a
- 54:42couple of extra like I did one last night. But every episode that I
- 54:45do I release to podcasts, and that's where I have a much bigger reach.
- 54:53I can't even I mean ten to twelve thousand downloads a month I give
- 55:00on my podcast, So anything I do on the YouTube channel gets uploaded to
- 55:05podcast and I interview more people that don't get a live show, so you
- 55:09get extra content. I released an episode every Wednesday and Sunday on Paranormal alreadycy
- 55:15and you can get that anywhere you get podcasts, Apple, Spotify, all
- 55:21that stuff and give me a rating review, guys, help me out.
- 55:24Five stars only, y'all, five stars only. He's amazing. Yeah,
- 55:28you're you have such a great show and I really enjoy being on there.
