- 0:12Speaker 1: Hey everybody, welcome to Pink Shade. It's Mary Payne here.
- 0:15Speaker 2: It's TLC Tuesday.
- 0:18Speaker 1: I've got Kimberly. Guess what? We're back in our home spots.
- 0:23Speaker 2: Regularly scheduled programming.
- 0:26Speaker 1: That's correct. No hotels.
- 0:30Speaker 2: No horrible lighting. My normal makeup set. And that same
- 0:37Speaker 2: old good filter button.
- 0:39Speaker 1: That filter button does it every time. Every time. Yeah,
- 0:44Speaker 1: I had to put my hair up today. I mean,
- 0:46Speaker 1: like halfway.
- 0:46Speaker 2: It's really cute.
- 0:48Speaker 1: I just was like, I can't. I got to get
- 0:50Speaker 1: it out of my face.
- 0:51Speaker 2: Super cute.
- 0:52Speaker 1: I don't normally wear my hair like this. But, you know, guys,
- 0:55Speaker 1: if you're not watching, you don't get to see on video. YouTube,
- 0:58Speaker 1: follow us. Okay.
- 1:00Speaker 2: You're missing out.
- 1:01Speaker 1: You're really missing out. Now, Kimberly and I have just
- 1:06Speaker 1: returned from New York City, where Kimberly was there for
- 1:12Speaker 1: 10 days.
- 1:14Speaker 2: I heard that song approximately 27 times.
- 1:18Speaker 1: Concrete jungle where dreams are made of.
- 1:21Speaker 2: I feel really bad for the people that work around
- 1:24Speaker 2: Times Square.
- 1:26Speaker 1: You have to imagine that. that the people that play
- 1:28Speaker 1: that song over and over and over, because they're trying
- 1:31Speaker 1: to lure you to their photo machine, that they have to,
- 1:35Speaker 1: it's just got to be like ambient noise. They don't
- 1:38Speaker 1: even hear it.
- 1:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:40Speaker 1: They could go to sleep to it. They've got these
- 1:44Speaker 1: machines guys, you know, the ones like you stand in
- 1:46Speaker 1: the middle and then the camera swirls around you really
- 1:48Speaker 1: fast and they play that song and there's, they're everywhere.
- 1:52Speaker 2: It's over and over again. Yeah. Just it's a lot.
- 1:56Speaker 1: It's a lot.
- 1:57Speaker 2: Um, But I did see one of the bicycle guys
- 2:00Speaker 2: who do the little bicycle carts where you ride around
- 2:03Speaker 2: and film yourself and look really touristy playing Taylor Swift,
- 2:09Speaker 2: Welcome to New York.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Okay, that's good.
- 2:11Speaker 2: Thank you for changing it up a little.
- 2:14Speaker 1: I would have gotten in that one. I've been in
- 2:17Speaker 1: those tuk-tuks before. I've been in, I told you, with
- 2:21Speaker 1: Ingrid and all three kids, all three girls one time
- 2:24Speaker 1: we did that. That was too many people. scary yeah
- 2:27Speaker 1: ingrid and i've definitely jumped in them before because they
- 2:29Speaker 1: will get you there faster because you because you almost
- 2:32Speaker 1: die in the process there's there's not a seat belt
- 2:36Speaker 1: it's just get in and good luck yeah yeah um
- 2:41Speaker 1: we were in a cab going somewhere and producer james
- 2:44Speaker 1: was telling us about he's been in those tuk-tuks in
- 2:47Speaker 1: india yeah oh really yeah and he's like fun He said,
- 2:53Speaker 1: there's no way. Keisha can't handle New York. She can
- 2:55Speaker 1: never handle it. Keisha's so funny. Every time we would
- 2:58Speaker 1: depart with Kimberly, Keisha would be like, are you guys
- 3:00Speaker 1: okay to walk? We're like, we're good, girl. We're in
- 3:02Speaker 1: the middle of a huge city. Yeah. She's very concerned.
- 3:06Speaker 2: I know, but she did great.
- 3:08Speaker 1: She did great. She sent me a long- She.
- 3:10Speaker 2: Texted me the nicest message today. Did she text you
- 3:14Speaker 2: a nice message?
- 3:15Speaker 1: She did, and I have not responded because I'm not
- 3:18Speaker 1: in a place to accept it. and take it in.
- 3:22Speaker 1: I was on my way out to talk to the
- 3:24Speaker 1: doctor about a foot injection. And then I came home
- 3:27Speaker 1: and I had to do these notes. And so I
- 3:29Speaker 1: was too busy. I will look at it later. Because
- 3:32Speaker 1: I just, you know, like in your car, you can
- 3:34Speaker 1: press car play and the car reads it to you.
- 3:37Speaker 1: And it started with, I know you're not going to
- 3:39Speaker 1: want to hear this, but it was like started some
- 3:41Speaker 1: nice compliments. And I just was like, done. I don't
- 3:44Speaker 1: want to hear this. I don't– it's not good for
- 3:46Speaker 1: my soul to hear things like that.
- 3:48Speaker 2: No, too much joy is bad for you.
- 3:51Speaker 1: It's too much niceness.
- 3:52Speaker 2: You feed off negativity and sarcasm.
- 3:56Speaker 1: True.
- 3:57Speaker 2: That's true.
- 3:57Speaker 1: But not too much negativity. Don't call me ugly or anything.
- 4:00Speaker 1: I can't take that. No, no.
- 4:02Speaker 2: Or don't say anything about the bangs.
- 4:05Speaker 1: Please.
- 4:06Speaker 2: Because you'll still be talking about it years later.
- 4:10Speaker 1: How dare you. Yeah. okay, let's, let's break down this
- 4:16Speaker 1: show because it was a long one. It was a
- 4:18Speaker 1: good one and a lot happened. So we're going to
- 4:21Speaker 1: be talking for a while.
- 4:22Speaker 2: Nice enough to do all the notes because I had
- 4:26Speaker 2: a very long journey yesterday and I got back at
- 4:31Speaker 2: one in the morning, my time, New York time, which
- 4:35Speaker 2: I was used to by then. My journey was 13 hours.
- 4:42Speaker 2: Which is ridiculous.
- 4:43Speaker 1: It's supposed to be four.
- 4:45Speaker 2: It's supposed to be five and a half.
- 4:46Speaker 1: Okay.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Okay.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Whenever I think about going to LA and it's so far,
- 4:52Speaker 1: I literally could go from here to London in the
- 4:54Speaker 1: same amount of time.
- 4:55Speaker 2: That's crazy.
- 4:56Speaker 1: It's really far away. So that's why you don't do
- 4:59Speaker 1: it very often. The people that just go back and
- 5:01Speaker 1: forth like every week.
- 5:02Speaker 2: I don't get it.
- 5:02Speaker 1: I don't get it either. And both you and I
- 5:05Speaker 1: came back with some sort of like nasal funk.
- 5:09Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 5:09Speaker 1: So I'm hoping when I wake up tomorrow, it'll be gone.
- 5:11Speaker 1: I'm hoping it's just, like, the shock. And if not,
- 5:13Speaker 1: I'm going immediately to the doctor and, like, give me
- 5:17Speaker 1: a steroid shot. Give me something because I cannot be sick.
- 5:19Speaker 1: I've got too much going on. Too much going on.
- 5:22Speaker 2: She's a jet setter.
- 5:23Speaker 1: I'm a jet setter. I'm jet setting to Mississippi next.
- 5:26Speaker 1: So go Rebs. Okay. So this episode, it's Season 8,
- 5:32Speaker 1: Episode 2, 90 Day Fiance. The other way, it's called... Kiyasu, Kanchung,
- 5:43Speaker 1: and carry on. Let me do this. Let me go
- 5:45Speaker 1: down here and find.
- 5:47Speaker 2: I did write down the definitions. I Googled it, and
- 5:49Speaker 2: then she explained it, and I didn't need to have
- 5:51Speaker 2: Googled it.
- 5:52Speaker 1: Kiyasu and Kanchung. Kanchung is how I wrote it down.
- 5:57Speaker 1: And carry on. Okay. We're going to start with Squishy Squishy, Matilda...
- 6:04Speaker 1: Squishy Squishy, Matilda, and Niles. So I also like this.
- 6:09Speaker 2: I don't like that there's a Niles and a Nigel because.
- 6:13Speaker 1: It's hard.
- 6:14Speaker 2: For ladies with perimenopause, that's not nice to do.
- 6:17Speaker 1: It's rough. It's rough for our brains.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 6:21Speaker 1: So the Squishy Squishy, you know, we're going to get
- 6:24Speaker 1: sick of it, but it's cute at the beginning. Yeah.
- 6:27Speaker 2: And it hasn't been too much yet, but, and if
- 6:30Speaker 2: you're new here last season, Niles and Matilda are a
- 6:33Speaker 2: repeat couple and they, do a lot of.
- 6:35Speaker 1: Squishy squishy squishy squishy on the face and squishy at
- 6:38Speaker 1: some point she's gonna slap the squishy squishy out of him.
- 6:42Speaker 2: Yeah i think oh i'm gonna go see my nephew
- 6:43Speaker 2: tomorrow and i'm gonna do a squishy squishy.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Squishy squishy yeah um okay so matilda 26 from ghana
- 6:51Speaker 1: and niles 29 from mobile alabama so niles is getting
- 6:56Speaker 1: his haircut i love when he has his haircut short
- 6:59Speaker 1: like that it looks so much better um and he's
- 7:01Speaker 1: telling the barber he's moving to ghana The.
- 7:05Speaker 2: Guy has no reaction. Where are you going?
- 7:08Speaker 1: Ghana?
- 7:08Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
- 7:10Speaker 1: Yeah, you packed? You good? You good?
- 7:13Speaker 2: What?
- 7:14Speaker 1: He's like, Ghana? Is that in Africa? Where's that? So
- 7:18Speaker 1: he's packing his bags with his squishy mommy's gifts, and
- 7:22Speaker 1: he says he wishes his parents would drive him to
- 7:25Speaker 1: the airport, but... He knows he has to get there
- 7:29Speaker 1: and get established with Matilda and make her understand that
- 7:33Speaker 1: he's making the best decision for the family. And he
- 7:36Speaker 1: hopes the squishy mommy can understand. And then we see
- 7:41Speaker 1: him getting in the cab, which is a Mercedes. So
- 7:43Speaker 1: it's obviously an Uber, a production car. And in the
- 7:47Speaker 1: talking head, he says, my family is not supportive of
- 7:50Speaker 1: the marriage. They're not supportive of this move. But my
- 7:53Speaker 1: mother did call me today to tell me that she
- 7:55Speaker 1: loves me and wishes me well. But I do wish
- 7:58Speaker 1: they would have come with me in person to say goodbye.
- 8:00Speaker 2: That would involve appearing on this program, which they have
- 8:05Speaker 2: not yet done, which is very rare for this show.
- 8:09Speaker 2: Usually we see the families.
- 8:11Speaker 1: Yeah. They don't want any part of this bullshit.
- 8:14Speaker 2: They're like, Matt Sharp, fuck him.
- 8:16Speaker 1: That's exactly. How dare? And, you know, they wish him well.
- 8:22Speaker 1: And he says he has not heard from his father
- 8:25Speaker 1: at all. So he goes, fuck it. I'm going to
- 8:28Speaker 1: call my father. And it goes right to voicemail. And
- 8:31Speaker 1: he goes, no, I'm not surprised he didn't answer. And
- 8:34Speaker 1: he says, my family thinks Matilda is a scammer. And
- 8:37Speaker 1: they're fully expecting this to fail. But I really want
- 8:40Speaker 1: to prove them wrong. Okay.
- 8:43Speaker 2: And at this point, I wrote, Mr. Ark is a
- 8:45Speaker 2: better father to you in his one hand than your
- 8:48Speaker 2: own father.
- 8:49Speaker 1: With two hands.
- 8:50Speaker 2: With two hands. Well, I wrote this before what happens next.
- 8:55Speaker 1: Oh, okay. I thought you weren't going to take any notes.
- 8:58Speaker 2: Well, that's all I wrote.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Okay.
- 9:01Speaker 2: That's all I wrote for the entire episode. No, I
- 9:04Speaker 2: took little notes like I was following along. Okay. It
- 9:07Speaker 2: helps me pay attention.
- 9:10Speaker 1: So in the airport, it's one hour later, and he's crying.
- 9:13Speaker 1: He's very upset because his parents really are not coming
- 9:15Speaker 1: to the airport. And he calls his father, Mr. Ark.
- 9:21Speaker 1: And he.
- 9:23Speaker 1: Mr. Ark says, you were coming to Ghana to see
- 9:26Speaker 1: your father, and I will welcome my son from the
- 9:28Speaker 1: United States.
- 9:30Speaker 2: I had forgotten this, like, way too seriously. They take
- 9:34Speaker 2: this role playing that they started at the wedding.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 9:38Speaker 2: It's like, you are my son. I gave birth to you.
- 9:41Speaker 2: I put sperm in your mother, and you came out
- 9:44Speaker 2: of her nine months later. You are my biological child. Like,
- 9:47Speaker 2: they took it. I think they think it's serious, and
- 9:50Speaker 2: I love it.
- 9:51Speaker 1: The two of them together are sharing a brain and
- 9:53Speaker 1: they are like, this is what it is now. Like
- 9:56Speaker 1: you are my child.
- 9:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:58Speaker 1: And Mr. Ark says, I'm sure Matilda. will pick you up,
- 10:01Speaker 1: but you will need to come and see me first
- 10:04Speaker 1: before you talk to the family. My wife and I
- 10:07Speaker 1: will need to go with you to talk to Matilda's
- 10:09Speaker 1: family because her family is going to have a lot
- 10:11Speaker 1: of questions. And Niall says, yep, there is a lot
- 10:16Speaker 1: to discuss and I'll just do what you say, dad.
- 10:19Speaker 1: And Mr. Ark says, you have to stay at my house,
- 10:22Speaker 1: my son. And Niall says, Dad, can Matilda stay with us?
- 10:27Speaker 1: And he says, yes, of course. She is your wife.
- 10:31Speaker 1: But remember, no anal.
- 10:33Speaker 2: No anal. We don't believe in anal here. And we
- 10:38Speaker 2: also don't believe in trimming our nose hairs. Or eyebrows.
- 10:43Speaker 1: So many nose hairs, and the camera is always just
- 10:46Speaker 1: right up there.
- 10:46Speaker 2: Right up there, and it's just gray nose hairs and
- 10:51Speaker 2: the eyebrows.
- 10:52Speaker 1: The eyebrows are crazy. So now we go over to Ghana,
- 10:56Speaker 1: and Matilda is talking to her family, and nobody's happy.
- 11:01Speaker 1: And you know the phrase, if mama ain't happy, ain't
- 11:03Speaker 1: nobody happy, and mama ain't happy. Mm-mm. And they're like,
- 11:07Speaker 1: he's bringing shame to our family. He said five months,
- 11:11Speaker 1: but this process is taking forever. Now, do we know
- 11:15Speaker 1: that they applied and got denied, but they're applying for this?
- 11:19Speaker 1: They're married. So they're applying for this spousal visa or
- 11:22Speaker 1: he never applied.
- 11:23Speaker 2: I think he still has not applied. And because she
- 11:27Speaker 2: says something about like, maybe he's going to come and
- 11:30Speaker 2: we're going to go for the interview. And I'm like,
- 11:33Speaker 2: none of that has happened yet. Because he still hasn't
- 11:35Speaker 2: saved up the money. And I don't know how much
- 11:38Speaker 2: the spousal visa costs compared to the K-1. It might
- 11:44Speaker 2: be similar. $ 7, 000, $ 10, 000, something.
- 11:47Speaker 1: It's a lot. And that's just if you do it
- 11:50Speaker 1: regular without a lawyer. That's just you do it yourself. Yeah.
- 11:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't think he's done squat.
- 11:58Speaker 1: So Matilda says, I love Niles, and he loves me,
- 12:02Speaker 1: and I'm pleading with you to take it easy on
- 12:04Speaker 1: him when he gets here. But, you know, he's coming.
- 12:06Speaker 1: He's coming tomorrow. He says he has a huge surprise
- 12:10Speaker 1: for me. You know, it could be a ring. It
- 12:12Speaker 1: could be a new car. I mean, he could be
- 12:15Speaker 1: saying my visa is ready.
- 12:16Speaker 2: Maybe he's bringing you a bra. Girl.
- 12:22Speaker 1: She wasn't?
- 12:24Speaker 2: No. And she was really cookin'. With the, the helping
- 12:28Speaker 2: her mom with dinner. And it was, I was like,
- 12:31Speaker 2: that just hurts me.
- 12:34Speaker 1: Oh, I did not notice. So she's young.
- 12:35Speaker 2: But good for her if she's comfortable. It's not a car.
- 12:40Speaker 1: And it's not a ring. Not a ring. It's not
- 12:45Speaker 1: a visa.
- 12:47Speaker 2: It's, it's a, it's a 29 year old. Surprise.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Here I am. So in the talk it had, Niles goes, wow,
- 12:57Speaker 1: now I have two bombs to drop. We're moving in
- 13:00Speaker 1: with Mr. Ark, and I'm moving to Ghana permanently. Surprise!
- 13:06Speaker 2: You're not moving in with Mr.
- 13:08Speaker 1: Ark.
- 13:08Speaker 2: You're just staying with him for this trip that he
- 13:11Speaker 2: thinks is just a trip. Because Mr. Ark doesn't know
- 13:15Speaker 2: that he's moving there, right?
- 13:17Speaker 1: I don't know. I assume he's told no one, because
- 13:20Speaker 1: that's what he does.
- 13:21Speaker 2: I think that's what he does, yeah.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Mm-hmm. Y'all know how you see the social media posts like,
- 13:26Speaker 1: what's in your bag? Where's this girl going? What are
- 13:28Speaker 1: you doing? Well, let me tell you what's in my bag, okay?
- 13:30Speaker 1: It's very exciting. It's breath mints, my reading glasses, my wallet,
- 13:34Speaker 1: my keys, and my Thrive Cosmetics Liquid Lash Extensive Mascara,
- 13:39Speaker 1: my lip stain, and their Focus Eyeshadow Palette. It has
- 13:42Speaker 1: a mirror so you can check yourself before you wreck yourself. Like,
- 13:45Speaker 1: I can't tell you how many times I used that
- 13:47Speaker 1: mirror while we were in New York. And lately, I'm
- 13:49Speaker 1: just super into Thrive's Lasting Mark Lip Defining Stain. That's
- 13:54Speaker 1: also a great thing to have in your bag because
- 13:56Speaker 1: you can use it all day. I'm like lining my
- 13:58Speaker 1: lips with that stuff as much as Lisa Barlow is, okay?
- 14:01Speaker 1: But sometimes really a lip stain will dry your lips out.
- 14:03Speaker 1: But this one is hydrating and kind of feels like
- 14:05Speaker 1: your bare lips instead of being, ew, like a dry lip.
- 14:09Speaker 1: So for me, I can throw on Thrive's Mascara and
- 14:12Speaker 1: this lip stain and be ready to go out into
- 14:14Speaker 1: the world for the entire day. That's all I need.
- 14:16Speaker 1: And did you know, I'm sure you did, for every
- 14:19Speaker 1: product purchased, Thrive Cosmetics donates products and funds to help
- 14:23Speaker 1: communities thrive. Over $ 185 million in product and cash donations
- 14:29Speaker 1: to over 700 plus giving partners.
- 14:30Speaker 2: Hello.
- 14:31Speaker 1: They really, really put their money where their mouth is,
- 14:33Speaker 1: you guys, with Thrive. And all of their products are,
- 14:35Speaker 1: of course, 100% vegan products. cruelty-free and made with clean,
- 14:40Speaker 1: skin-loving ingredients that work with you and not against you.
- 14:44Speaker 1: And that is what we need as ladies of a
- 14:45Speaker 1: certain age. So, get your new Everyday Favorites and have
- 14:49Speaker 1: 20% off your order. That's 20% off your first order

- 15:11Speaker 1: let's move on to Andy and Nigel. Oh, God. Okay,
- 15:16Speaker 1: get ready. So we did find out this episode that everyone.
- 15:20Speaker 2: At Lieberfest that we talked, I talked to about this show. Yeah.
- 15:23Speaker 2: I just talked about Andy the whole time.
- 15:26Speaker 1: Yeah. I liked her a little more this episode, kind
- 15:31Speaker 1: of seeing her through Nigel's eyes. You know, that made
- 15:35Speaker 1: me like her. I think she's a little bit cooler. Yeah.
- 15:38Speaker 1: You know?
- 15:40Speaker 2: The bangs, I just can't get over. No. But he
- 15:43Speaker 2: was better than I thought he'd be. Oh, he was worse. Oh, see,
- 15:48Speaker 2: I thought he was better. No.
- 15:53Speaker 1: Did you notice, in addition to the super short bangs,
- 15:56Speaker 1: she also has a rat tail in the back?
- 15:58Speaker 2: Oh, yes, I did.
- 16:00Speaker 1: Yeah. Okay. So double whammy on the hair.
- 16:03Speaker 2: And also he's got- I don't know what you call
- 16:05Speaker 2: a mullet that has short, it's so short, the short
- 16:09Speaker 2: bangs in the front. So it's like a tiny business
- 16:13Speaker 2: in the front, party in the back. He's also got-
- 16:17Speaker 2: It's a small business.
- 16:20Speaker 1: It's a small business.
- 16:21Speaker 2: Small business loan in the front. And then you're having
- 16:25Speaker 2: a rager in the back.
- 16:27Speaker 1: But he also has like the guy on Double Lives.
- 16:30Speaker 1: He's got like a two mullet situation happening.
- 16:33Speaker 2: Yes.
- 16:34Speaker 1: It's like.
- 16:34Speaker 2: Combined with the beard and the little handlebar mustache.
- 16:39Speaker 1: It is.
- 16:42Speaker 2: It's a hair raising situation. It is.
- 16:44Speaker 1: And he's got bad teeth.
- 16:47Speaker 2: Okay. That I knew you were going to.
- 16:51Speaker 1: Of course. I couldn't take it. Yeah. So we open
- 16:53Speaker 1: with Andy singing at her piano saying like she's writing
- 16:56Speaker 1: this song. And continuity is important here. They keep messing
- 17:01Speaker 1: up showing us her lyric book. It's two different lyric
- 17:05Speaker 1: books they keep showing us. So they obviously filmed this twice.
- 17:09Speaker 1: One day and they go, hey, just for pickups, just
- 17:12Speaker 1: do it one more time. Because at one point, it's
- 17:14Speaker 1: like a long and skinny lyric book with only one row,
- 17:19Speaker 1: one column of lyrics. And then when they're showing it later,
- 17:22Speaker 1: it's a wide landscape. style book with two.
- 17:29Speaker 2: Rows of lyrics. We had Forrest and Sheena pretending that
- 17:34Speaker 2: they had never met each other and they had fully
- 17:37Speaker 2: visited multiple times. That's Matt Sharp for Audacity.
- 17:42Speaker 1: This is continuity.
- 17:44Speaker 2: You gotta let it go.
- 17:45Speaker 1: I didn't like it. So she tells us she's getting
- 17:50Speaker 1: super nervous about her move to Australia in four hours,
- 17:53Speaker 1: which we say, please head to the airport. And writing
- 17:58Speaker 1: this song is really helping her work through these things.
- 18:02Speaker 1: But she knows that going to Australia will help her
- 18:04Speaker 1: understand that it's worth the risk. And she's got nothing
- 18:07Speaker 1: to worry about. She's just got to get on that plane.
- 18:12Speaker 1: So we meet Nigel. Nigel rides up on a motorcycle.
- 18:16Speaker 1: And he's acting at a kid's party as a pirate
- 18:19Speaker 1: where you can rent a Cinderella costume. a transformer, a.
- 18:26Speaker 2: Ooh, Johnny Depp.
- 18:29Speaker 1: A wiggle, I guess, if you're Australian. I don't know.
- 18:32Speaker 1: The yellow wiggle.
- 18:33Speaker 2: I did those parties for a brief moment.
- 18:36Speaker 1: You did? Yeah. What did you go as?
- 18:39Speaker 2: I think some sort of princess, but not a good-looking one.
- 18:44Speaker 1: Well, they're all good-looking, and you've got the hair for it.
- 18:47Speaker 1: You were Rapunzel.
- 18:49Speaker 2: I honestly can't remember, but I, or maybe I never
- 18:52Speaker 2: did a party. No, I did a party. I just
- 18:54Speaker 2: can't remember what I was dressed as. I think I
- 18:57Speaker 2: only did one party. And then I was like, nah,
- 18:59Speaker 2: I don't like children. And his job is depressing. But
- 19:06Speaker 2: for him, he's like, I'm almost 40. It's a great
- 19:08Speaker 2: job for me.
- 19:09Speaker 1: He loves it. But we see these kids putting sprinkles
- 19:13Speaker 1: on bread and eating that. And I was like, is
- 19:15Speaker 1: this an Australian thing to put sprinkles on bread and
- 19:18Speaker 1: eat it? That sounds kind of gross to me.
- 19:20Speaker 2: No, I've seen that even in America. Yeah. Fairy bread
- 19:25Speaker 2: or something.
- 19:26Speaker 1: Oh, okay. Well, kids, what do they care? It's got sprinkles.
- 19:28Speaker 1: They're happy. Yeah. We see him barefoot in his hero
- 19:32Speaker 1: shot with some drumsticks, but barefoot is going to be
- 19:35Speaker 1: the theme here. So he tells us, I'm Nigel. I'm
- 19:39Speaker 1: a good time. I consider life to be a permanent vacation.
- 19:43Speaker 1: I have made good investments and good life choices, other
- 19:47Speaker 1: than that timeshare, I guess. And he considers himself retired.
- 19:52Speaker 1: He owns his own home. He has a motor home.
- 19:55Speaker 1: He doesn't have to work a job every day.
- 19:56Speaker 2: I mean, I love this for him, and I want
- 20:00Speaker 2: it for myself. What investments can he give me tips?
- 20:06Speaker 2: Why didn't he invest in his teeth?
- 20:09Speaker 1: And why did he dip out on the timeshare? Why
- 20:11Speaker 1: did he like kind of pressure her into doing it
- 20:14Speaker 1: and now he's not going to pay for it?
- 20:16Speaker 2: Right. I don't believe that this is a good investment
- 20:20Speaker 2: type guy.
- 20:22Speaker 1: Doesn't seem like it.
- 20:24Speaker 2: Did he like get into like Apple like way back when?
- 20:28Speaker 1: Right. That's a good call. So we see all his
- 20:33Speaker 1: mechanical projects that he wants to work on shoved under
- 20:35Speaker 1: his house. And he's like, this is untreated ADHD. I
- 20:39Speaker 1: do work on projects. Then I shove it under the house.
- 20:43Speaker 1: And his buddy Chris comes over. And talking head, Chris goes,
- 20:46Speaker 1: Nigel is just a big child. He never sits down.
- 20:50Speaker 1: Do you think Chris is American? He's definitely not Australian.
- 20:53Speaker 2: He had a slight accent that I couldn't place. And
- 20:56Speaker 2: it was only on certain words. Yes. So, yes, I
- 21:00Speaker 2: did think he was American. I am very much into him.
- 21:04Speaker 2: And think that Andy should date him instead of Nigel.
- 21:07Speaker 2: A thousand. He has way better teeth.
- 21:09Speaker 1: Yep.
- 21:10Speaker 2: And he seems more responsible and he seems like he showered.
- 21:14Speaker 1: And he seems very hot for Andy.
- 21:16Speaker 2: He's in love with Andy. Yes.
- 21:20Speaker 1: So Chris is like, so why are we out here
- 21:23Speaker 1: working on this riding lawnmower race car? Like, have you vacuumed?
- 21:28Speaker 1: Have you washed? Have you put out some smelly candles? Like,
- 21:32Speaker 1: you're about to have a full-fledged woman living with you.
- 21:35Speaker 1: He's like, oh, I know. Nigel tells us his first
- 21:39Speaker 1: impression of Andy is that she's just like a super
- 21:41Speaker 1: cool chick. Very tall. Easy to talk to. Beautiful. Kind.
- 21:46Speaker 2: Genuine.
- 21:47Speaker 1: Talented. He feels so honored she's choosing to move in
- 21:50Speaker 1: with him and start this life. And then we see
- 21:53Speaker 1: all the pictures of them together. Yeah. And he was like, okay.
- 21:58Speaker 1: He's very into her. He appreciates, you know, her.
- 22:02Speaker 2: He's honored she's moving in.
- 22:05Speaker 1: Yeah. So Chris says, I got to be honest. Andy
- 22:09Speaker 1: is the top of the top tier of what you
- 22:12Speaker 1: could pull.
- 22:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:14Speaker 1: No offense.
- 22:14Speaker 2: Out of your league.
- 22:16Speaker 1: She's cool. She's hot. She's talented. Chris is in love
- 22:19Speaker 1: with Andy. 1,000%.
- 22:21Speaker 2: So Chris asked him- And maybe doesn't even like Nigel,
- 22:26Speaker 2: even though he's friends with him.
- 22:27Speaker 1: Yeah. He's like, he's my next door neighbor. But Chris
- 22:31Speaker 1: asked him, now he says two different, they say two
- 22:33Speaker 1: different things here over and over. They say ethical non-monogamy,
- 22:37Speaker 1: but they also say polyamory a lot as well. And
- 22:41Speaker 1: these are two different things.
- 22:43Speaker 2: Okay. Okay.
- 22:45Speaker 1: That's the difference. Well, ethical non-monogamy is we are together
- 22:50Speaker 1: and we can choose to go out with other people
- 22:54Speaker 1: as long as we don't bring it home and we've
- 22:56Speaker 1: set our own rules and the rules are this. And
- 23:00Speaker 1: we abide by the rules and that's ethical non-monogamy. But polyamory,
- 23:05Speaker 1: in my understanding from watching all these shows, is that
- 23:10Speaker 1: it is you can have multiple partners, but you could
- 23:14Speaker 1: be Like these are my two girlfriends. Like you're dedicated
- 23:20Speaker 1: to the two people. Non-monogamy is more just like you're
- 23:24Speaker 1: allowed to fuck around within your parameters.
- 23:27Speaker 2: But they are just.
- 23:28Speaker 1: No relationships.
- 23:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:30Speaker 1: Okay.
- 23:31Speaker 2: That's it. Okay. I'm not sure if that's correct, but
- 23:34Speaker 2: that could be. Yeah.
- 23:37Speaker 1: Cause I feel like, like the Davis family, they practice polyamory.
- 23:41Speaker 2: Right.
- 23:42Speaker 1: But this, what he's doing is like, I can just
- 23:45Speaker 1: take these lovers, but they have nothing to do with
- 23:47Speaker 1: my main relationship.
- 23:49Speaker 2: Yes, I see what you're saying.
- 23:51Speaker 1: Yeah. So, Nigel says, since my divorce, I've really spread
- 23:57Speaker 1: my rings, my wings, my rings and my wings. And
- 24:01Speaker 1: I have found a polyamory community within going to festivals. Wow.
- 24:08Speaker 1: Andy is on the same page with wanting to practice
- 24:12Speaker 1: ethical non-monogamy.
- 24:14Speaker 2: She couldn't be less on the same page.
- 24:17Speaker 1: She's just like, I'm not there for six months. So
- 24:19Speaker 1: if he wants to like bang somebody at a festival,
- 24:21Speaker 1: I get it.
- 24:21Speaker 2: Yeah. She wasn't practicing it and she wasn't ever interested
- 24:26Speaker 2: in it before this.
- 24:28Speaker 1: Right. So Nigel, so Chris is like, so you're just
- 24:32Speaker 1: going to like stick with this. And he goes, yeah,
- 24:34Speaker 1: I think it's my forever lifestyle. Like I'm used to
- 24:37Speaker 1: it now. And, It hasn't been smooth sailing. Like she's
- 24:40Speaker 1: been jealous sometimes. Like maybe she's jealous because I'm getting
- 24:44Speaker 1: more tail than she is.
- 24:46Speaker 2: No, now I hate you.
- 24:47Speaker 1: Now we're mad.
- 24:49Speaker 2: Now I was wrong. You suck. That's not at all
- 24:53Speaker 2: what she's feeling. Jealous that she hasn't been getting as
- 24:57Speaker 2: much sex.
- 24:58Speaker 1: Like it's a tit for tat. Yeah, right.
- 24:59Speaker 2: That's no.
- 25:03Speaker 1: He said, you know, recently I was performing at a
- 25:06Speaker 1: festival and I had a plus one that I could bring.
- 25:10Speaker 1: So I was going to take one of my playmates along. No,
- 25:14Speaker 1: don't like that term. And Andy was annoyed. And even
- 25:18Speaker 1: though it was within the rights of our agreement, but
- 25:22Speaker 1: I felt like I had to honor her feelings about
- 25:24Speaker 1: the situation. It really killed my vibe. And Chris is like, yeah,
- 25:29Speaker 1: you have to honor the agreement. So in the talking head,
- 25:35Speaker 1: Nigel says, my recent part-time lover, it's fun. She's great.
- 25:41Speaker 1: And it's annoying that Andy shut it down and she
- 25:44Speaker 1: made it awkward when it didn't need to be. Okay.
- 25:48Speaker 2: Imagine how it's going to be when she is staying
- 25:50Speaker 2: at home and you're going out to have a play
- 25:56Speaker 2: date with playmate and she's like just at home waiting
- 26:00Speaker 2: for you to come home. That's really going to cramp
- 26:02Speaker 2: your style.
- 26:04Speaker 1: Chris is like, yeah, man, this all sounds sticky. Don't
- 26:09Speaker 1: you think since she's moving all the way here, she
- 26:12Speaker 1: thinks you're going to give up that other lifestyle once
- 26:14Speaker 1: she's here? He goes, no, I don't think she thinks that.
- 26:19Speaker 1: And a talking head, Chris, who hates Nigel and loves Andy, says,
- 26:23Speaker 1: I think Nigel has been living a very selfish lifestyle
- 26:28Speaker 1: for a long time.
- 26:29Speaker 2: Oh, you hate him.
- 26:32Speaker 1: And I think he's going to have a massive lifestyle
- 26:36Speaker 1: change when she gets here. And I'm unsure if he's
- 26:38Speaker 1: actually thought this through.
- 26:41Speaker 2: No, and I don't think they've talked it through. They're
- 26:43Speaker 2: both assuming that they're on the same page and they're not.
- 26:47Speaker 2: She's assuming he'll give it up and he's assuming he
- 26:50Speaker 2: won't have to give it up. Right. So I think
- 26:54Speaker 2: this before you get there.
- 26:55Speaker 1: Well, I think neither one of them want the answer
- 26:58Speaker 1: that the other one's going to give. So that's why
- 26:59Speaker 1: they didn't ask.
- 27:00Speaker 2: You're exactly right.
- 27:02Speaker 1: Yeah, so it's like if I just don't mention it,
- 27:03Speaker 1: maybe it'll go my way.
- 27:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:06Speaker 1: So we see her leaving, and they do this whole
- 27:08Speaker 1: montage with all the couples that are flying out, which
- 27:11Speaker 1: was different. Not great for note-taking. No. We see her leaving,
- 27:19Speaker 1: and then we flip over to a didgeridoo man, and
- 27:27Speaker 1: I will never unsee the mouth hole that I saw there.
- 27:30Speaker 1: That was upsetting. Nigel's teeth look amazing compared to this guy. Yeah.
- 27:34Speaker 2: At least this guy was wearing shoes in the woods.
- 27:38Speaker 1: He was?
- 27:39Speaker 2: Yeah. I thought he would be barefoot. He was shirtless. Yeah.
- 27:46Speaker 1: There's so many snakes and critters there that he definitely
- 27:49Speaker 1: was like, yeah, this is scary.
- 27:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:53Speaker 1: Well, we see Nigel has cleaned up and put on
- 27:55Speaker 1: his worst outfit, and he wants her to know that
- 27:59Speaker 1: life with him is one big party, so that's why
- 28:01Speaker 1: he's dressed this way.
- 28:03Speaker 2: You know who he was dressed exactly like is the
- 28:06Speaker 2: guy from Love After Lockup who is dating the older
- 28:10Speaker 2: model chick and proposed to her on a bridge.
- 28:14Speaker 1: Yeah, you're exactly right. I can't think of their names.
- 28:16Speaker 1: I really do feel like her name is something like Andy,
- 28:20Speaker 1: but I cannot remember what their names are. But yeah,
- 28:24Speaker 1: he's dressed exactly like him. And it doesn't look.
- 28:27Speaker 2: Like either one. But that's his future.
- 28:29Speaker 1: Yeah, absolutely. That's his future.
- 28:32Speaker 2: To like a very skinny, dirty looking pirate wannabe wearing
- 28:41Speaker 2: leopard pants.
- 28:42Speaker 1: Nigel's not wearing any eyeliner.
- 28:44Speaker 2: Zebra pants.
- 28:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 28:45Speaker 2: Yes, he hasn't. You're exactly. Yes, that's what's missing is
- 28:49Speaker 2: the eyeliner.
- 28:50Speaker 1: And he doesn't look like he's.
- 28:52Speaker 2: And he still has a lot of hair. And that
- 28:54Speaker 2: guy on Love After Lockup has the long thinning hair.
- 28:58Speaker 1: And meth face. Yes. Yeah. Okay.
- 29:03Speaker 2: Give it time.
- 29:06Speaker 1: So, okay. He says, I'm hoping things are going to
- 29:09Speaker 1: work out, you know, with the ethical non-monogamy. Because it
- 29:13Speaker 1: seems like she was mad that I was getting more
- 29:15Speaker 1: love than her. Again.
- 29:17Speaker 2: Again.
- 29:18Speaker 1: Stop. That's rude. And you're saying, like, I'm cuter and
- 29:21Speaker 1: could catch more tail. Like, it's not cute. Yeah.
- 29:23Speaker 2: She could have, if she was trying.
- 29:25Speaker 1: She could do what she wanted.
- 29:26Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 29:28Speaker 1: So another continuity issue I'm going to point out. When
- 29:31Speaker 1: he leaves his house, and he is wearing shoes, when
- 29:33Speaker 1: he leaves his house, he's pulling a trailer behind his truck.
- 29:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 29:38Speaker 1: But when he's at the airport, it's not there. It's
- 29:40Speaker 1: just the truck bed.
- 29:41Speaker 2: Oh.
- 29:41Speaker 1: Okay.
- 29:42Speaker 2: Well, that was a good decision to ditch that trailer.
- 29:44Speaker 1: Yeah. I think he just circled the block and came
- 29:46Speaker 1: back and dropped it off.
- 29:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 29:47Speaker 1: So she has a 28-hour journey. Also, why does he
- 29:52Speaker 1: have that car? That truck?
- 29:56Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 29:56Speaker 1: Because he works on all those stupid projects and shoves
- 29:59Speaker 1: them under his house.
- 30:01Speaker 2: But there's no, it's not like a truck that has
- 30:05Speaker 2: like walls on the back part. So everything's just exposed.
- 30:10Speaker 2: It's just a flatbed.
- 30:11Speaker 1: He's got those things you can strap it down.
- 30:14Speaker 2: Just with straps. It doesn't seem like enough. Like put wall,
- 30:17Speaker 2: at least have, you know, like a normal truck.
- 30:19Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Sides. Yeah.
- 30:21Speaker 2: Do it.
- 30:22Speaker 1: That's the kind that Dylan had, a Dylan amputee. He
- 30:25Speaker 1: had a regular truck. Yeah. So it's been 28 hours.
- 30:29Speaker 1: That's how long it takes to get there. Oh, my God.
- 30:32Speaker 1: I should be complaining. Oh, my God.
- 30:34Speaker 2: I should be complaining.
- 30:35Speaker 1: My hair would be so greasy. So she heads to
- 30:38Speaker 1: Baggage Claim to greet him in his getup. And he
- 30:42Speaker 1: has flowers. She says, you look like a wizard. She
- 30:46Speaker 1: has her guitar on her back. And I said, this
- 30:49Speaker 1: is when I realized, in addition to the bad bank,
- 30:51Speaker 1: she has a rat tail. And I was upset. Yeah.
- 30:55Speaker 1: Then we hear some music and she's like, what is that?
- 30:58Speaker 1: And then people kind of come from all over and
- 31:00Speaker 1: start dancing around. There's a bubble machine. For some reason,
- 31:03Speaker 1: some guy's dancing with the big fucking lizard, a bearded dragon.
- 31:07Speaker 1: She's dancing, having fun. There's bubbles. I'm assuming they're all
- 31:10Speaker 1: on acid. I have no idea. But he's like, I
- 31:15Speaker 1: just thought like, what could I do to greet her?
- 31:17Speaker 1: And I've created a flash mob because she loves dancing.
- 31:19Speaker 1: And I was like, these are all his drug friends, right?
- 31:22Speaker 2: Like, Oh, 100%. He called them at 3 in the morning. Yeah.
- 31:25Speaker 2: He was like, can you be at the airport?
- 31:28Speaker 1: They're like, we're not going to sleep. It's fine.
- 31:29Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah. It's fine. And bring all of your accoutrement.
- 31:33Speaker 2: Like bring whatever you have. Like you have a lizard.
- 31:35Speaker 2: You have a bubble machine.
- 31:37Speaker 1: Bring it.
- 31:38Speaker 2: You have a hula hoop.
- 31:39Speaker 1: Yeah. Bring it.
- 31:40Speaker 2: Is there a fire dancer?
- 31:42Speaker 1: No. It's fine.
- 31:43Speaker 2: The didgeridoo guy, he had plans.
- 31:48Speaker 1: So in the talking head, Andy says, this is what
- 31:50Speaker 1: I love about Nigel. He has such a fun sense
- 31:53Speaker 1: of humor about life in general. He knows how much
- 31:56Speaker 1: I love to dance, so he surprised me with this.
- 31:59Speaker 1: But reality is starting to hit me like a ton
- 32:02Speaker 1: of bricks. I just left my friends and my family
- 32:04Speaker 1: and my music career, which was just taking off, and
- 32:07Speaker 1: I have a list a mile long of worries. One
- 32:10Speaker 1: of them, of course, is about does he want to
- 32:12Speaker 1: be monogamous? And I'm beginning to wonder, can I fit
- 32:16Speaker 1: into this life? Okay, good question. You know what?
- 32:20Speaker 2: I thought his place looked not that bad.
- 32:22Speaker 1: It was clean.
- 32:23Speaker 2: Yeah. It was clean. And he kept saying bachelor pad,
- 32:27Speaker 2: but he had furniture.
- 32:29Speaker 1: Right.
- 32:29Speaker 2: So he's a step above Thomas. And he's into music.
- 32:34Speaker 2: You're into music. I don't know if their musics coincide.
- 32:38Speaker 2: Could they play together or both book the same festivals
- 32:42Speaker 2: or something? But I do see potential aside for the...
- 32:47Speaker 2: monogamy issue and the timeshare issue.
- 32:51Speaker 1: Right he just seems to be very into going to
- 32:54Speaker 1: festivals to do drugs in my opinion.
- 32:57Speaker 2: Yeah if there are drugs involved and she's not into
- 33:00Speaker 2: drugs but they've traveled together it seems like a lot
- 33:03Speaker 2: so she should know what she's getting into in terms
- 33:06Speaker 2: of drugs yeah.
- 33:08Speaker 1: It seems like she's never seen this place because he's
- 33:10Speaker 1: like i hope she's okay with my bachelor pad yeah
- 33:12Speaker 1: and it was It's fine. It's fine.
- 33:15Speaker 2: It's a house.
- 33:15Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah.
- 33:16Speaker 2: And then his friends, like all the bubble people, they
- 33:20Speaker 2: hugged her. And well, the dragon guy, the lizard guy,
- 33:24Speaker 2: he hugged her. Like, it seemed fine.
- 33:27Speaker 1: Yeah. We'll see. Were one of these girls one of
- 33:30Speaker 1: the girls he was banging? Unclear.
- 33:32Speaker 2: Is it the bubble girl? She was hot. Yeah.
- 33:35Speaker 1: She had on the crop top?
- 33:38Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
- 33:38Speaker 1: Mm-hmm. Um, okay. Let's move on.
- 33:41Speaker 2: Nothing like dancing barefoot at the airport.
- 33:44Speaker 1: I mean, okay. You've heard me talk about grocery store feet, right?
- 33:50Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 33:51Speaker 1: Later on, we're going to see two people walking barefoot
- 33:54Speaker 1: in a grocery store.
- 33:54Speaker 2: Okay.
- 33:55Speaker 1: Yep. Gross. So, um, let's move on to Allie and Jonathan.
- 34:01Speaker 1: I'm just going to call him John because she calls
- 34:03Speaker 1: him John. His thing is Jonathan. Sort of like my
- 34:07Speaker 1: husband really wants to be called David, but He introduced
- 34:09Speaker 1: himself to me as Dave 30 years ago. So that's
- 34:12Speaker 1: what I call him. He doesn't get to be David now.
- 34:13Speaker 2: Oh, I didn't know that. Now I'm going to try.
- 34:16Speaker 1: You can try to call him David, but that's not
- 34:18Speaker 1: his name. So we start with the fight in the
- 34:22Speaker 1: car about vaping again. And he's like, I'm not vaping.
- 34:26Speaker 1: I don't know what you want me to do. I've
- 34:28Speaker 1: made a lot of sacrifices to be here. And she goes, well, okay, great.
- 34:31Speaker 1: Making sacrifices and lying are two different issues, which is
- 34:36Speaker 1: a good point.
- 34:38Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
- 34:38Speaker 1: And he goes, okay, you're right. I'm sorry. I'm going
- 34:40Speaker 1: to try to do better about being a liar who lies,
- 34:44Speaker 1: I guess. So they go to the Hawker, H-A-W-K-E-R, the
- 34:49Speaker 1: Hawker Center, which is a food court. And to save
- 34:51Speaker 1: the table, you chop it. They keep saying chop it
- 34:54Speaker 1: by putting something on it. To me, that's just like
- 34:57Speaker 1: when you save a beach chair, you like put something
- 34:59Speaker 1: on it, you know? Yeah. There was a lot of
- 35:03Speaker 1: emphasis on this as if we've never heard this before. Yeah.
- 35:07Speaker 2: Well, there you can do it just with like a napkin.
- 35:10Speaker 1: Yeah. And then you're like, this is mine. Yeah. Yeah.
- 35:13Speaker 2: Because that's how rule following these people are. Because they're terrified.
- 35:18Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 35:19Speaker 2: Every move is being filmed by the government.
- 35:22Speaker 1: Yes. There's CCTV everywhere and they can fine you for anything.
- 35:26Speaker 1: She says no spitting. That's $ 782 fine.
- 35:31Speaker 2: And she spits to mime it. And I was like,
- 35:35Speaker 2: the cameras are going to see you.
- 35:36Speaker 1: She mimes it, but she doesn't spit.
- 35:39Speaker 2: Right, but the cameras might not know that. They might
- 35:41Speaker 2: just see that she, they might think she spat.
- 35:46Speaker 1: Don't you think somebody is going to run up right
- 35:47Speaker 1: behind to see if there's any spit on the ground?
- 35:50Speaker 2: I do. I don't know.
- 35:52Speaker 1: No spitting.
- 35:53Speaker 2: I'm scared. It's like living in the Hunger Games or something.
- 35:56Speaker 1: No littering. That's a $ 235 fine. I like that. If
- 36:01Speaker 1: you don't flush the toilet in a public bathroom, $ 117 fine.
- 36:05Speaker 1: I love that too. I love that. Now, how would
- 36:08Speaker 1: they know? Because are they watching you go to the bathroom?
- 36:14Speaker 1: And if you're in your apartment and seeing naked through
- 36:17Speaker 1: the windows, it's a $ 1, 562 fine.
- 36:21Speaker 2: I love that. I mean, the whole city of New
- 36:24Speaker 2: York would be extremely rich, I feel like, because I
- 36:27Speaker 2: feel like people are just, I mean, I didn't see
- 36:29Speaker 2: anybody across from my hotel room, but I didn't either.
- 36:33Speaker 1: But if there was a way to just look, I
- 36:34Speaker 1: would just sit there all day and watch people. I
- 36:37Speaker 1: find it fascinating.
- 36:39Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 36:39Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 36:41Speaker 2: You do a rear window and witness a murder.
- 36:43Speaker 1: Yes, I love. Is that what rear window is about?
- 36:46Speaker 2: Yeah, it's he's in a wheelchair because he broke his
- 36:51Speaker 2: leg and he's bored and he starts watching his neighbors
- 36:54Speaker 2: through his like telescope and he witnesses a murder. And then.
- 36:59Speaker 1: Oh, didn't even know. Okay, so they get some food
- 37:05Speaker 1: and they're eating. And he's like, I think she says,
- 37:10Speaker 1: everything feels normal now that you're here. We're going out
- 37:12Speaker 1: and we're eating. You know, she has been going out
- 37:14Speaker 1: too much because she's working really hard. She tells us
- 37:17Speaker 1: she's a tech analyst. And he goes, but that's great
- 37:20Speaker 1: that you have that job because you have the health coverage.
- 37:23Speaker 1: And she goes, yeah, but it's not enough. And that's
- 37:26Speaker 1: why I need you to have saved the $ 10, 000. She
- 37:31Speaker 1: says that her insurance only pays some, and she was
- 37:33Speaker 1: told that it's $ 15, 600 to have the baby. So she
- 37:39Speaker 1: needs that money for birth and postpartum, and $ 10, 000 is
- 37:42Speaker 1: actually probably not enough. So she's saved some, but not enough.
- 37:46Speaker 1: So he goes, $ 10, 000 is not that much. She's like, what?
- 37:51Speaker 1: And she goes, do you have it? Right, right. And
- 37:54Speaker 1: she goes, if you aren't worried about it, then why
- 37:57Speaker 1: haven't you saved it? He goes, I'm not worried about
- 38:00Speaker 1: the financial stuff at all. And she goes, you know,
- 38:03Speaker 1: I just got to get my company going in Singapore
- 38:05Speaker 1: or Malaysia. I don't care.
- 38:06Speaker 2: And he's got very pregnant already.
- 38:10Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 38:11Speaker 2: How fast do you think you can get a business
- 38:13Speaker 2: up and running there?
- 38:14Speaker 1: A sonar underwater listening device company. He wants to get
- 38:20Speaker 1: the manufacturing of the product moved to Asia is the point.
- 38:25Speaker 1: And she's like, right, but you also, while you're doing that,
- 38:28Speaker 1: have to have a regular job. And he goes, yeah,
- 38:31Speaker 1: I will. She goes, you haven't even started looking. You
- 38:33Speaker 1: should have started looking months ago. Like, how are you
- 38:35Speaker 1: going to be making money? You need to be applying.
- 38:37Speaker 1: And he goes, I really literally just got here. You're
- 38:40Speaker 1: being very aggressive. And she goes, I don't think I'm
- 38:43Speaker 1: being aggressive. I'm very kiasu and kunchung. It's fear of
- 38:50Speaker 1: missing out and fear of missing out on opportunities and
- 38:54Speaker 1: having anxiety around it. And she explains it like, there's
- 38:58Speaker 1: a bus coming and I'm going to go like 6 a.m.
- 39:01Speaker 1: So I'll be there. So I'll be the first one
- 39:02Speaker 1: to make sure I have a seat. How did you
- 39:05Speaker 1: find it in your definitions?
- 39:07Speaker 2: That seems extreme. It's Kiyasu, afraid to lose out. And
- 39:15Speaker 2: the other one, Kiyasu. meaning nervous anxious panicky flustered or
- 39:23Speaker 2: in a rush okay it's the opposite of what the
- 39:27Speaker 2: phrase is keep calm and carry on which is what
- 39:30Speaker 2: they're parroting because they're saying panic and carry on. It's
- 39:34Speaker 2: actually more accurate to my lifestyle. Yeah. Constant panic, but
- 39:40Speaker 2: keep going.
- 39:41Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, thank you, medication. Yeah.
- 39:44Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 39:45Speaker 1: My mom is not medicated and she just is always
- 39:48Speaker 1: in a worry and always in a panic. Yeah. Scooting panic. Yeah.
- 39:54Speaker 1: I feel that. So she's saying to him, she goes,
- 39:58Speaker 1: why didn't you apply to any jobs? Why didn't you
- 40:01Speaker 1: do it? He goes, the why doesn't matter now. Now
- 40:05Speaker 1: I'm just going to do it that I'm here. And
- 40:06Speaker 1: she goes, it does matter why. I need to know why.
- 40:08Speaker 1: And he's like, Jesus fucking Christ. I have all this
- 40:12Speaker 1: success and you're coming at me about applying for a
- 40:15Speaker 1: fucking job right now. I mean, he really goes to
- 40:17Speaker 1: the cursing real quick.
- 40:19Speaker 2: I don't like his anger. I know he's traveled a
- 40:22Speaker 2: very long way and probably just wants to rest.
- 40:25Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 40:25Speaker 2: He doesn't want to be at a market and being
- 40:27Speaker 2: on TV, I guess. But I don't like this anger
- 40:31Speaker 2: he has.
- 40:31Speaker 1: I don't like it either.
- 40:32Speaker 2: And he's pregnant and calm down and– Also, why didn't you?
- 40:37Speaker 2: The why does matter. And that sounds like a gaslighting
- 40:40Speaker 2: thing to say. Like, the why doesn't matter.
- 40:42Speaker 1: Okay, just show me some action, you know? All right, ladies,
- 40:46Speaker 1: let's talk and be honest here. A lot of us
- 40:49Speaker 1: are ladies of a certain age, and we are so busy.
- 40:52Speaker 1: I was just talking to a good friend of mine
- 40:55Speaker 1: this weekend about this. We're so busy. We have no
- 40:57Speaker 1: time to think about anything, and we're all stressed for
- 41:00Speaker 1: some reason or another. My stress is not your stress.
- 41:03Speaker 1: Your stress is not my stress. Everybody's got something going on.
- 41:06Speaker 1: And that's the idea behind Dame's Desire Gummies. Low desire
- 41:11Speaker 1: usually isn't a you problem. It's a stress problem. So
- 41:16Speaker 1: let's talk about it, okay? Desire isn't just physical. It's
- 41:18Speaker 1: in your head. It's tangled up with stress, mood, and
- 41:21Speaker 1: how much you're carrying in your daily life. And Dame
- 41:23Speaker 1: gets it. They get it. Their Desire Gummies are a
- 41:26Speaker 1: daily supplement that works on the stress and the mood
- 41:29Speaker 1: side of the equation. And that's what I love. The
- 41:32Speaker 1: gummies were developed with an OBGYN and clinically studied as
- 41:36Speaker 1: a complete formula. Most women in the study noticed a
- 41:39Speaker 1: difference within two weeks, and 85% reported increased desire by
- 41:43Speaker 1: week four. Because it's a daily thing, you have to
- 41:46Speaker 1: take it daily. Day makes it easy. Subscribe and save
- 41:49Speaker 1: 15% on every order. They're delivered every 20 days. You
- 41:52Speaker 1: don't miss out. And your code stacks on top of
- 41:56Speaker 1: that 15% off your subscribe and save. You need to
- 41:59Speaker 1: subscribe because it's a daily thing, like I said, and
- 42:01Speaker 1: you don't want to run out. But here's the science-y thing.
- 42:04Speaker 1: Dame didn't just cite ingredient research. They studied the actual
- 42:07Speaker 1: gummy on real women, and 85% reported increased desire in
- 42:12Speaker 1: four weeks. So they did this four-week observational study run
- 42:16Speaker 1: by a third-party lab with 53 women aged 24 to
- 42:20Speaker 1: 52 who reported low desire and stressful lifestyles. So the
- 42:24Speaker 1: participants reported improvement, and they said they had increased sexual
- 42:28Speaker 1: desire by 85%, guys. reduced stress and anxiety by 87%
- 42:34Speaker 1: and improved mood by 93%. My God, if I could
- 42:38Speaker 1: improve my mood by 93%, I mean, everybody wins, right?
- 42:42Speaker 1: So if you want to see for yourself and get
- 42:44Speaker 1: 15% off these gummies, you're going to go to dame.com
- 42:48Speaker 1: and use code pink shade. But remember, you can also
- 42:50Speaker 1: subscribe with code pink shade and the discount stacks 15%
- 42:55Speaker 1: off with the code plus 15% off every subscription order.
- 42:59Speaker 1: That is dame.com code pinkshade for 15% off the desire gummies.
- 43:05Speaker 1: So she goes, I need stability. And he goes, oh, okay.
- 43:10Speaker 1: Are you suffering? And she goes, I've been suffering because
- 43:14Speaker 1: I've been alone. And my parents are more kiasu and kanchung.
- 43:19Speaker 1: I was saying it wrong. They are more so than me.
- 43:23Speaker 1: And they are going to wonder, why did you knock
- 43:25Speaker 1: me up and then you didn't plan and then you
- 43:27Speaker 1: didn't get a job? That's what they're going to want
- 43:29Speaker 1: to know. Yeah.
- 43:31Speaker 2: They don't even know that she's pregnant.
- 43:33Speaker 1: That's the craziest part. I can't wait to see how
- 43:35Speaker 1: long it's been since she's seen them that they literally
- 43:37Speaker 1: do not know she's giving birth in two months.
- 43:40Speaker 2: I know.
- 43:41Speaker 1: Crazy. All right. Zuri and Ben.
- 43:46Speaker 2: Okay. Also, he already has like two children that are grown.
- 43:50Speaker 1: Ben, yeah. No, not Ben.
- 43:53Speaker 2: Sorry, sorry, sorry. John.
- 43:54Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 43:54Speaker 2: John, I want her to gossip with the first wife. Like,
- 43:59Speaker 2: has he always been like this? Is he super immature,
- 44:02Speaker 2: but it gets it together at the last minute? Yeah.
- 44:07Speaker 2: Is he always fly by the seat of his pants?
- 44:09Speaker 2: Is he lazy? What's going on? Right. Right.
- 44:13Speaker 1: Um, yeah, I'd love to see her talk to the
- 44:15Speaker 1: first wife too. Um, First wife apparently has no problem
- 44:19Speaker 1: with this and she still lives at that house. I mean,
- 44:20Speaker 1: you know. Right.
- 44:22Speaker 2: Maybe she has her act together even less.
- 44:26Speaker 1: Okay. Let's talk about Zuri and Ben. Zuri is 26.
- 44:31Speaker 1: She's from Fairfield, Connecticut. And Ben is also 26 from Nancy, France.
- 44:38Speaker 2: Nancy?
- 44:39Speaker 1: Nancy? I thought is what they said. And that's why
- 44:41Speaker 1: I was like, Nancy? Nancy? Where is Ben from 90
- 44:46Speaker 1: Day Toe from? Nope. That's a different Ben. He's the
- 44:57Speaker 1: guy that died. Yeah, Ben died. I thought it was
- 45:00Speaker 1: going to be him. It did. France with Zuri. Okay. Me, Zuri,
- 45:09Speaker 1: and Benjamin. They met. It says niece. It says niece. Niece. No, Ben,
- 45:18Speaker 1: who resides in Nancy, France. Okay. Okay.
- 45:23Speaker 2: Is it maybe not said Nancy? Like, maybe it's pronounced differently?
- 45:28Speaker 1: I don't know. TLC.com. It says Nancy, France. I mean,
- 45:32Speaker 1: I wrote it down as Nancy. Let's look this up.
- 45:36Speaker 2: No, it's fine. I'm just going to keep laughing about it.
- 45:39Speaker 1: Nancy. That's just a funny name.
- 45:41Speaker 2: Nancy.
- 45:41Speaker 1: Nancy. france um nancy nancy like nancy but nancy.
- 45:50Speaker 2: Nancy okay okay yeah.
- 45:53Speaker 1: Okay nancy um that's worse that's funnier to say nancy
- 45:57Speaker 1: okay so uh we meet zuri and she works with
- 46:01Speaker 1: musicians and when this guy came on It was singing.
- 46:05Speaker 1: I was like, is this an ad for Ozempic? Because
- 46:07Speaker 1: he's like, freedom. And it sounded like, is this like
- 46:12Speaker 1: an Ozempic or a Zepbound commercial? Like, what is it?
- 46:15Speaker 2: He was giving that face that like, really happy. I'm
- 46:19Speaker 2: trying to sell you a medication that might give you diarrhea. Yes.
- 46:25Speaker 1: Yes. Not approved by the FDA. But We see Zuri.
- 46:29Speaker 1: She is there taking pictures and talking. And she is
- 46:32Speaker 1: a marketing director and social media manager for a recording studio.
- 46:37Speaker 1: But this guy got a lot of airtime for whoever
- 46:41Speaker 1: he is. So she tells us she's an only child
- 46:45Speaker 1: and very outgoing. She's a social butterfly. She's adventurous. She
- 46:50Speaker 1: loves to travel. And she says there's an American Zuri
- 46:54Speaker 1: and a French Zuri. Ooh la la. But there's not
- 46:58Speaker 1: a French degree because she doesn't speak French.
- 47:00Speaker 2: No. Also, but she is a shapeshifter. Like, I mean,
- 47:04Speaker 2: she looks different in every photo. The hair changes.
- 47:08Speaker 1: Yep.
- 47:09Speaker 2: Change her whole look, like, shockingly.
- 47:11Speaker 1: Yes. She is a shapeshifter. So now we meet Ben.
- 47:16Speaker 1: Ben works for the family business selling farm equipment. These
- 47:20Speaker 1: two met in London. She was living there. I think
- 47:23Speaker 1: she was in school. And they met up in the club.
- 47:26Speaker 1: And- In Dueling Talking Heads, she tells about traveling to
- 47:30Speaker 1: France to see him. She's excited to go. And he
- 47:34Speaker 1: says he feels like they were made to be together.
- 47:36Speaker 1: She says he feels like home. And after she graduated
- 47:41Speaker 1: in London, she moved from London to Nancy, France, maybe Paris,
- 47:48Speaker 1: maybe Nice, unclear. She moved to France to be with Ben.
- 47:52Speaker 1: But things did not go as planned, and after a
- 47:54Speaker 1: few months, she moved back to the United States, and
- 47:57Speaker 1: that's all we get. I was like, whoa. Things didn't
- 48:00Speaker 1: go as planned. Okay. Now, she's in the kitchen with
- 48:04Speaker 1: her mom. Her mom is baking, and she says, my
- 48:07Speaker 1: mom has owned three bakeries, all named after me. That
- 48:12Speaker 1: just reminds me of Say Anything. I've written 482 songs
- 48:19Speaker 1: about Joe, and I'm going to sing them all tonight.
- 48:21Speaker 1: joe lies joe lies and he cries joe lies okay
- 48:26Speaker 1: so deep cut guys very current reference.
- 48:29Speaker 2: So also her mom owns bakeries but she's cooking in
- 48:33Speaker 2: her own kitchen at home.
- 48:34Speaker 1: She says my mom has has owned three bakeries oh
- 48:39Speaker 1: okay but she looks like she was making.
- 48:41Speaker 2: It felt like gregory sweating over the.
- 48:43Speaker 1: Yeah yeah no shit This was her making king cakes,
- 48:47Speaker 1: it seems, and she was just maybe just doing it
- 48:49Speaker 1: locally for people. She doesn't do it anymore, perhaps.
- 48:51Speaker 2: I'd love to try a king cake. Am I allowed to?
- 48:55Speaker 1: Because you're not from New Orleans? Is that what you mean?
- 48:59Speaker 2: Isn't it a religious thing?
- 49:00Speaker 1: No. It's all about Mardi Gras.
- 49:03Speaker 2: Yeah, but isn't there like a little thing inside?
- 49:06Speaker 1: You find the baby and it gives you good luck.
- 49:09Speaker 2: Isn't it like a baby Jesus or something?
- 49:11Speaker 1: I don't think so. I've never heard it was baby Jesus.
- 49:13Speaker 1: Just find the baby. Oh, okay. You find the baby
- 49:17Speaker 1: and it's good luck. King cakes aren't that great.
- 49:20Speaker 2: Oh.
- 49:20Speaker 1: Yeah. It's a shame. Yeah. But yeah, king cake, it's
- 49:23Speaker 1: a fun thing because if you take the piece and
- 49:26Speaker 1: it's got the baby, you've got good luck for the year.
- 49:30Speaker 2: Unconventional cookies that made us all cookies for LibreFest.
- 49:34Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 49:35Speaker 2: I've eaten... Too many of them. I gave my dad
- 49:38Speaker 2: a couple. They're so delicious and so freaking cute.
- 49:43Speaker 1: I've eaten three. Yeah. I've eaten three and then told
- 49:46Speaker 1: Dave to come up and start eating them so that
- 49:48Speaker 1: I would stop at three. Yeah. And I'm going to
- 49:50Speaker 1: take the ones that are the pink shade logo to
- 49:53Speaker 1: my parents when I go this week.
- 49:55Speaker 2: So cute. They're so good and so beautifully decorated and
- 49:59Speaker 2: they have like theme that like I got date with
- 50:02Speaker 2: Dateline ones. They're so cute.
- 50:04Speaker 1: I got one with Zied on it. That's the one
- 50:06Speaker 1: I ate first.
- 50:07Speaker 2: Stop.
- 50:08Speaker 1: Yes.
- 50:08Speaker 2: Did you take a picture?
- 50:09Speaker 1: Yes. It's on Instagram.
- 50:11Speaker 2: Okay. It has Zied on it? Yep. I love it.
- 50:16Speaker 1: I ate that one first and closed my eyes like
- 50:18Speaker 1: I was having a moment. And then I ate one
- 50:23Speaker 1: of the ones that is the visor that says, I
- 50:26Speaker 1: eat ass. If you know, you know. And then I
- 50:35Speaker 1: ate one of the dancing bears. I love it. Yeah.
- 50:39Speaker 2: I love that. That's so thoughtful.
- 50:42Speaker 1: So thoughtful. Unconventional cookies, guys. Go look it up. She
- 50:45Speaker 1: made every single one of us, Amanda, Amy, Becca, me, Kimberly, Keisha,
- 50:50Speaker 1: all different cookies just for us. All different themes.
- 50:54Speaker 2: Incredible.
- 50:55Speaker 1: Incredible. Thank you. Okay. Back in the kitchen with Zuri
- 51:01Speaker 1: and her mom. So I think her mom's name is Kim.
- 51:03Speaker 1: So unclear. So she talks with her mom about how
- 51:07Speaker 1: she hated living in France the first time. So, of course,
- 51:11Speaker 1: Ben is nervous that she's not going to stay there.
- 51:14Speaker 1: They've now been long distance for two years, but they are.
- 51:17Speaker 1: They do see each other. It's not like they haven't
- 51:19Speaker 1: seen each other. She says there's so much.
- 51:21Speaker 2: Seems like nothing has changed, but she's trying again. But
- 51:26Speaker 2: nothing has changed.
- 51:28Speaker 1: Right. Maybe she feels more mature. she says there's so
- 51:32Speaker 1: much pressure on me to learn French and his friends
- 51:36Speaker 1: feel like I have no personality because I can't talk
- 51:38Speaker 1: to them. One time, one of his friends threw ice
- 51:42Speaker 1: at me. Excuse me, ma'am. What? No.
- 51:50Speaker 2: That could have cut her in the eye or something.
- 51:53Speaker 1: Can you imagine this is your buddy and his new
- 51:56Speaker 1: girlfriend has moved over from London and you're like, At
- 52:00Speaker 1: the club, and you have an ice bucket there, and
- 52:02Speaker 1: you think, she's boring, I think I'll throw a fucking
- 52:04Speaker 1: piece of ice at her. What?
- 52:07Speaker 2: Why, is Benjamin still friends with this person?
- 52:10Speaker 1: Yeah, we see him two scenes from now. Victor. What
- 52:13Speaker 1: the fuck? Fuck off, Victor.
- 52:16Speaker 2: They're bullies. They're full-on assholes.
- 52:19Speaker 1: Horrible people.
- 52:21Speaker 2: Now, should she learn French if she's moving there?
- 52:23Speaker 1: Yes.
- 52:24Speaker 2: That's the fucking lootly... take classes. I don't even care
- 52:27Speaker 2: if it's bad French and you're not doing a good job,
- 52:30Speaker 2: but you're trying.
- 52:31Speaker 1: Kimberly, it's been two years. It's two years. What are you, Kenny?
- 52:44Speaker 1: Kenny fully lives in Mexico and cannot speak Spanish.
- 52:48Speaker 2: Bare minimum.
- 52:49Speaker 1: Bare minimum. Bare minimum. So I agree. She's They had
- 52:54Speaker 1: two years and she should have been learning. If she
- 52:56Speaker 1: thinks this is her person forever, even for that reason alone,
- 53:00Speaker 1: even if she thinks they're never going to live in France,
- 53:02Speaker 1: she should learn the language to be able to talk
- 53:04Speaker 1: to his family and everything. Anyway, back to Victor. Victor
- 53:09Speaker 1: threw ice at her and we say, we hate you.
- 53:11Speaker 1: Fuck off, Victor. So she goes, and another time I
- 53:16Speaker 1: was at his apartment and one of his friends hung
- 53:19Speaker 1: up a photo of Ben and another girl on the
- 53:21Speaker 1: fridge just to piss me off. These are horrible people. Horrible.
- 53:27Speaker 2: I can see it, too. I can picture them doing
- 53:30Speaker 2: it and laughing about it.
- 53:31Speaker 1: And laughing. And she goes, so then I realized not
- 53:35Speaker 1: only do they not want to get to know me
- 53:37Speaker 1: and they don't like me, but now they're going to
- 53:39Speaker 1: be disrespectful to me and my relationship. And she goes,
- 53:42Speaker 1: his friends are a big reason I left France. So...
- 53:47Speaker 1: She tells her mom, I want to make peace with them.
- 53:49Speaker 1: And mom goes, no, you do not have to make
- 53:52Speaker 1: peace with this person that threw ice at you. You
- 53:55Speaker 1: have to set a boundary and show them you will
- 53:57Speaker 1: not be disrespected. And that's the end.
- 54:00Speaker 2: Also, Benjamin has to do that.
- 54:02Speaker 1: Yes.
- 54:04Speaker 2: It's like Patrick and John. Patrick needs to put his
- 54:09Speaker 2: foot down. You can't talk to her like that.
- 54:12Speaker 1: Yes, exactly.
- 54:13Speaker 2: Or I will cut you out of my life.
- 54:15Speaker 1: So she goes, but when you don't know the language,
- 54:17Speaker 1: you're an outsider. But I feel 110% that Ben's worth it.
- 54:21Speaker 1: But you've had two years to learn the language. What?
- 54:24Speaker 2: So he's not worth it then? Do you even have
- 54:28Speaker 2: Babbel on your phone?
- 54:29Speaker 1: I just Babbel or Duolingo or something. Just once a day,
- 54:34Speaker 1: learn a phrase. 15 minutes a day. That's all. This
- 54:38Speaker 1: is where I put the note. Kimberly, she's had two years.
- 54:41Speaker 2: Why didn't she learn the She said longer than two
- 54:43Speaker 2: years because she had all that time before she moved
- 54:46Speaker 2: there the first time. Right.
- 54:47Speaker 1: When she was young and her brain could probably take
- 54:49Speaker 1: it in better. You know, so and then she was
- 54:54Speaker 1: there and she could really practice amongst the French people. Yeah. Yeah.
- 54:58Speaker 1: All right. So now we're at Zuri's going away party
- 55:02Speaker 1: and she's like, I feel really nervous, but I'm ready.
- 55:04Speaker 1: Like it's culture shock, but I'm doing it. And the
- 55:08Speaker 1: friend says, now, what happened? Because I thought he was
- 55:11Speaker 1: going to move to the U.S. And she goes, well,
- 55:13Speaker 1: we thought so, too. And he just said he could
- 55:15Speaker 1: move his company here. But he sells farm equipment. How
- 55:19Speaker 1: would he move his company there? It's a local thing.
- 55:22Speaker 2: Where does he live? Oh, Connecticut. They do have farms.
- 55:24Speaker 2: But still, he doesn't have the connections or anything.
- 55:26Speaker 1: He can't just start up whatever.
- 55:28Speaker 2: No.
- 55:29Speaker 1: So she goes, but it's really off the table because
- 55:31Speaker 1: he's taking over the family business. And the friend goes,
- 55:34Speaker 1: what's the situation with the other girl? So Zuri says,
- 55:40Speaker 1: last summer, after a long stretch of not seeing each other,
- 55:43Speaker 1: I went to visit him. And we were laying in
- 55:46Speaker 1: bed and I saw some girl was texting him on
- 55:50Speaker 1: his phone in English. And when I asked him, he
- 55:53Speaker 1: said he barely knows her. She's just a friend. It
- 55:55Speaker 1: must have been like on Instagram. So I asked him
- 55:58Speaker 1: to unfollow her, and he did. But then when I
- 56:01Speaker 1: got home, I went and looked, and he was re-following her.
- 56:04Speaker 1: And I broke up with him.
- 56:08Speaker 2: Good. But you didn't stay broken up.
- 56:11Speaker 1: They broke up for two and a half months, she goes.
- 56:13Speaker 1: But it was awkward because my parents had booked a
- 56:17Speaker 1: trip to go and see his family. So his family
- 56:21Speaker 1: must speak English. So we all went, and it was
- 56:26Speaker 1: pretty awkward. She said, but it gave us a chance
- 56:29Speaker 1: to talk. And he told me nothing had been on
- 56:32Speaker 1: with the other girl, just conversations. So he blocked her,
- 56:36Speaker 1: which you could just unblock. And the friends are like,
- 56:42Speaker 1: so did you ask the other girl?
- 56:44Speaker 2: She says, no.
- 56:45Speaker 1: You know, I have thought about DMing that girl, but
- 56:48Speaker 1: I trust him. I mean, a little voice in my
- 56:51Speaker 1: head says there might be something I don't know. But oh, well,
- 56:54Speaker 1: the friends are going to tell you if there is.
- 56:55Speaker 1: So don't worry. Just ask, just ask Victor. He'll tell you.
- 56:58Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 57:00Speaker 1: So we're talking to her. Her friends are like, we
- 57:03Speaker 1: don't trust this man. Like Zuri should have messaged that
- 57:05Speaker 1: other girl right away and asked what the stories were.
- 57:09Speaker 2: All right.
- 57:10Speaker 1: So it's the next day or whenever, and she's puts
- 57:13Speaker 1: on a beret just to be super cringy and she's
- 57:15Speaker 1: packing and taking her enchilada sauce flower.
- 57:18Speaker 2: She's like, um, she's like blossom.
- 57:21Speaker 1: Yeah. Um, And every time we see her in a
- 57:25Speaker 1: picture in France, she's wearing a beret. We're like, girl, stop.
- 57:28Speaker 2: We get it.
- 57:29Speaker 1: We get it. She's taking enchilada sauce with her because
- 57:32Speaker 1: they don't have it there. She's taking like a big, like,
- 57:34Speaker 1: old El Paso, you know, like.
- 57:36Speaker 2: I'm sorry. Did you say enchilada sauce?
- 57:39Speaker 1: Enchilada sauce? What do you say?
- 57:42Speaker 2: Enchilada sauce.
- 57:43Speaker 1: Enchilada? Say enchilada.
- 57:46Speaker 2: Enchilada.
- 57:47Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm going to eat an enchilada. What? I'm going
- 57:49Speaker 1: to look that up now. What do you mean? How
- 57:52Speaker 1: to pronounce... Is that a southern thing? I don't know.
- 57:57Speaker 1: Pronounce enchilada. Enchilada. I'm going to press the little button
- 58:04Speaker 1: where it says it for me. They say enchilada.
- 58:15Speaker 2: I mean, I live in California, so I feel like....
- 58:20Speaker 1: So... Wait. Enchilada.
- 58:24Speaker 2: Wait.
- 58:25Speaker 1: How do you pronounce enchilada if you're Southern? Okay. That's stupid.
- 58:36Speaker 1: It's like, though a heavy Southern U.S. accent might soften
- 58:40Speaker 1: or draw out the vowel slightly to be enchilada or enchilada. Enchilada.
- 58:51Speaker 2: Oh, Lord, I need some enchiladas.
- 58:53Speaker 1: Enchiladas. Okay, everybody, let us know. I'm saying enchilada. You're
- 58:59Speaker 1: saying enchilada. Yeah. Okay. I'm probably wrong, but.
- 59:06Speaker 2: No, maybe we're both right.
- 59:08Speaker 1: I'll never have to say it again. so she's packing
- 59:10Speaker 1: the sauce okay um so she says goodbye to her
- 59:14Speaker 1: dad in the driveway and the parents are really cute
- 59:17Speaker 1: yeah um and her mom takes her to the airport
- 59:21Speaker 1: um then they're talking about uh ben's asshole friends and
- 59:25Speaker 1: then we cut to meeting them we meet victor Who
- 59:30Speaker 1: is cute, but not cute enough to be this big
- 59:32Speaker 1: of an asshole. No. And Flora Mond, who's not cute
- 59:35Speaker 1: at all. Fuck off. So I hate them, but I'm
- 59:38Speaker 1: really mad.
- 59:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 59:40Speaker 1: And the talking head, Ben, says, last time she was here,
- 59:45Speaker 1: I felt very caught in the middle with my friends
- 59:48Speaker 1: because they were not a fan. And they're going to
- 59:51Speaker 1: have to accept her, or I worry it would be
- 59:54Speaker 1: the end of the relationship. I think it meaning she'll
- 59:57Speaker 1: leave if they act this way again.
- 59:59Speaker 2: But like it's not even you have to choose sides
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: because they don't like each other. The friends are being
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: disrespectful and bullying. So why do you want to be
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: friends with jerks like that? Right.
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: And why can't you put your foot down to say
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: like if you don't respect my relationship, then you can
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: go somewhere like we're not friends. I don't know.
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: Right. Or just be like decent to each other. Yeah.
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: Like it's fine if you don't like her, but I
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: don't want to hear about it.
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: Act nice.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: Don't bully her. Act nice.
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: Don't throw things at her face.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: Act nice or just don't come around. The end. Yeah.
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: You know? Y'all, as we get older, we start to
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: notice things changing about our skin. I look at an
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: old photo and I see brighter skin, but now I
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: have more dark spots and my skin is just not
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: as even as it used to be. So that's exactly
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: why I started using GU Skin Care. It's spelled J-I-Y-U.
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: It's a Korean skincare brand that's taken over the internet
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: because of the before and after results that people are seeing.
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: It helps your skin look healthier, smoother, brighter, firmer, and
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: more youthful without requiring this complicated routine. So they have
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: these rejuvenation toner pads. It's like the entire Korean skincare
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: routine packed into a single swipe. Every pad is saturated
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: with eight clinically-backed Korean skincare actives. It's your shortcut to
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: that radiant, glassy skin. It's designed for the brightening, the hydrating,
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: the soothing, and the anti-aging all in one. It helps
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: combat those dark spots, melasma, acne scars, hyperpigmentation, which I have, discoloration,
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: fine lines, which I have a million of, and wrinkles.
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: I mean, we know I've got those, okay? And the
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: best part is they leave your skin feeling so hydrated,
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: like nourished, refreshed, not stripped down or irritated like other
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: toner pads. Korean skincare has become like the gold standard
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: for healthy, glowing skin, right? We see it everywhere. And
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: this is the best one because, again, it's all in one.
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: But if you're trying it for the first time, I'd
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: recommend getting the Glow Up Bundle. It includes GU's best-selling toning,
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: polish pads, and their moisturizer with the NAD +. You
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: guys know I'm very into the NAD +. It's the
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: easiest way to experience the full GU routine while getting
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: the best overall value. And we need values. Their dermatologist tested.
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: They have over 650,000 happy customers.
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: Hello.

- 1:02:22Speaker 1: a limited time, GU is having a crazy deal for
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: our listeners. Their glow up bundle is already up to
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: 45% off right now, but our listeners can get it
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: for an additional 20% off plus free shipping and Insert
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: our code pink shade at J I Y U skin.com.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: That's J I Y U skin.com and use code pink
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: shade for an additional 20% off. And after you purchase,
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: they'll ask where you heard about them. Please support our
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: show and tell them we sent you. So they're talking
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: and Victor says, so she's made no effort to learn French.
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: And Flora, which is true. And Flora Mon goes, Personally,
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: I don't believe any of it. Please don't get married.
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: And Ben says, all I'm asking is you guys to
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: give her a chance. And Victor laughs and goes, you know,
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: you were better off without her. And he laughs.
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: So hateful. And in the talking together, these two guys go,
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: they laugh and they go, they won't stay together long.
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: She doesn't belong here. That's what he said. He said
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: their worlds are too far apart to ever build something together.
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: What are you talking about? Have you seen the show?
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: Xenophobic against her because she's American. I mean, I get it.
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: Yeah, I guess that's what it is. Yeah.
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: And I get it too that an American moving somewhere
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: and not even bothering to learn the language. Right. I
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: get it. But don't throw things at them.
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: The throwing of the ice really has upset me. Can
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: you imagine how Horrible she felt to see that his
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: friend was laughing at her and threw something at her.
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: So we see her boarding the plane. And I cannot
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: imagine that she is actually wearing that tight heels, a dress,
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: and a beret on an eight-hour flight. Because that's how
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: long it takes to get to Paris. Even if it
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: took five hours.
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: Still shorter than my trip yesterday. Yeah.
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: And mom was like, bye. You can always come back.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: You don't have to go. I love you. And she
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: drops her luggage down there. I had to go on
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: so many escalators going to the train yesterday.
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: Like at the hotel. And I had two bags. I
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: have my regular roller and then I have a little
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: roller and I have bags on top of those. I
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: was like, oh, my God. I should have gotten a
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: red cap.
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: I've never seen someone drop one, and then it goes
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: tumbling down the escalator, and you're going up the escalator.
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: So now you're going to have to take your other
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: one and go down. I don't know.
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: Go down, and you're embarrassed. Oh, my God.
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: Okay. Now we see Jesse and Vitorio. Okay. Here's something
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: I found out about Vitorio. He works for Hermes.
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: Oh.
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: Okay. Okay. So that is the fashion brand that he
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: works for. But on his LinkedIn, it said he started
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: that job seven months ago. So I think it has
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: to be around the time they were filming because she
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: said he just started a new job. He does, in fact,
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: have his own brand, Vittorio Smoot, even though that is
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: not his last name, but that's his name on Instagram.
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: His last name is like Pacelli or something. Vittorio Smoot brand.
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: And her job right now is a fashion director for
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: Vittorio Smoot.
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: Okay. But he works for Hermes.
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: Good for them making it work.
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: But he works for Hermes and he doesn't work for
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: his own brand. Yeah. So, Jessie is trying on some
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: of her pageant dresses with her gay D, not gay B.
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: We were corrected. I thought she said ladies and gay Bs,
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: but she said ladies and gay Ds. Oh, okay.
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: They have a podcast called Ladies and Gaities.
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: And they also have a Team Vittorio and Jessie fan page.
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: And there's a podcast called Ladies and Gaities. There's at
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: least six Instagram accounts you can follow about these two people.
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: Good for them. I won't be listening, but good for them.
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: So Manny is her gaitie. It's not my thing.
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: G-A-Y-D-I-E is how it's spelled on their podcast. She tells
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: us she's been doing pageants for years. She met Manny
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: eight years ago when he came backstage and said, girl,
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: you're going to be my new best friend. She is
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: talking with Manny about when her mom died. Her mom
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: got sick her senior year of high school and died
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: her freshman year of college. So that was before she
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: met Manny because She's 29. This was eight years ago.
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: She would have been 21. And usually you're 21, 22
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: when you graduate from college. She also has an Instagram
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: called Latinas Who Graduate. There's just so many Instagram accounts.
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: Wow.
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: But good for her.
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: Yeah, good for her. So she says her mom was
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: a single mom. Her dad was never in the picture.
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: She could not afford school once her mom died. So
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: she had to work two to three jobs and take
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: on huge student loans. and she says um vittoria's family
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: does not know her but they judge her off her
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: social media and she goes they act like my social
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: media is me twerking in fishnets on a lamborghini but
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: really her social media the pictures we see it's just
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: like some bathing suit shots or some beautiful clothes it's
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: nothing scandalous at all to me i mean.
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: Yeah it's not as like the vibe of Brittany from Miami,
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: who's now- Oh, my God. Right, right, right. Her bikini
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: shots that his family was judging. We were all judging those. Yeah,
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: well- There's a way to do it that's a little
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: more classy. Yeah.
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: I think she's a beautiful girl.
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: She's gorgeous.
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: Yeah. Anyway, she said he comes from a really fancy,
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: nice family. They go to this bougie tennis club. Also
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: his job, he's a tennis instructor.
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: Oh. Wasn't someone else a tennis instructor?
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: Zach Wise, married to Lydia Plath, is a tennis instructor.
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: Just always on the front of my mind. So she says,
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: he told her, you know, when I arrive, I might
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: need to tone down my style.
- 1:08:56Speaker 2: Oh, I don't love that.
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: So now she's... has a map and she's trying to
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: find Florence on the map and she's packing. And she goes,
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: I mean, I am bringing my furs, my leather, my
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: crop tops, my animal print. You know, I think his
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: friends think I dress very showy, but I'm never going
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: to change my style for a man. Good for you, girl.
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: And She says, he recently got a new job. He's
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: a workaholic now, but I still call him constantly. I
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: call him a lot. I will call someone until my
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: phone catches on fire. You will answer. It's funny.
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: That is a little crazy, but.
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: But I loved the visual of it. I will call
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: you till my phone catches on fire. Yeah. She says,
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: you know, because it's concerning. He works in the fashion industry.
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: He works with a lot of models. We've never had
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: sex yet, which I had already forgotten. But now I remembered. Okay.
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: Yeah, there's a lot of question marks.
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: Okay. Yeah.
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: So, red flags.
- 1:10:01Speaker 2: By the way, on conventional cookies, I got a giant
- 1:10:05Speaker 2: red flag and a tiny red flag.
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: Oh, I only got a tiny one.
- 1:10:10Speaker 2: I got a giant one, too.
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: I ate it already. Okay. Maybe I ate four cookies. Okay.
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: So we see Vittorio getting ready and he goes, he,
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: so he's in this beautiful kitchen and he's got all
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: these like gorgeous, fresh vegetables and fresh flowers. And he goes,
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: so the one thing I did not tell her is
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: I no longer live in the city. I live in
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: the countryside. Every time they showed this place, I was like,
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: is he like super rich? This is a huge, huge estate.
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: It's a huge countryside estate. It's up on the hill.
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: It's gorgeous.
- 1:10:47Speaker 2: But she's going to want to live in the city.
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: Of course. She's from New York City.
- 1:10:51Speaker 2: She's the city gal. But I did love that he
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: bought all of this stuff for her.
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:10:56Speaker 2: He bought the biggest celery I've ever seen in my
- 1:10:59Speaker 2: entire life for her green juices.
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: Yeah. Yes.
- 1:11:02Speaker 2: Really sweet. So sweet.
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: He goes, I know she's going to love being in
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: the countryside. I've got the veggies for the green juice,
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: lots of flowers. He says, you know, us European men,
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: we're probably more romantic, more sensitive.
- 1:11:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: I'm so happy she's moving here. But I'm also anxious
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: because it's so different from what she's used to. And
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: I'm worried when she gets here, she'll think she made
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: a mistake. We see Jesse, because they're doing all these
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: quick clips, saying goodbye to her brother, Ivan. I was like,
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: more Ivan. He was cute. She arrives in Italy. And
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: in the airport, she puts on a t-shirt that says
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: Italia across the front with a trench coat. She thinks
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: it looks chic. But I mean, you know he's going
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: to think it's tacky. So the talking head, he's in
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: the car and he goes, she says she's landed and
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: wants me to be there, be there, be there. But
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: I told her, yes, yes, yes. But then I take
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: my time because she exaggerates, you know, like I'm like
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: a politician that way. I say, yes, yes, yes. But
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: then I just do what I want. We don't like that.
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: I think that's their bickering relationship, though, that we soon
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: see is kind of funny. It's just like it's that
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: New York kind of. Yeah. Just constant bickering.
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. Wear me out.
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: I mean, for me, it would get old really fast.
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: Yeah. I want harmony and peace.
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: So now she's on the train, you know, from the
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: airport on the train headed to wherever he is. And
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: she's super nervous, but she looks amazing. And she gets
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: up and my God, his voice goes up four octaves.
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: I kept thinking like Jake and Matt are going to
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: kill it with this voice. It was amazing. You're an entity.
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: And I was like, wow. If we already had questions
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: about him.
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: Yeah. He's like, welcome, welcome, welcome. And he picks her up.
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: And she's like, oh, my God, you can pick me.
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: He goes, oh, strong, strong, strong. I'm working out. It's
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: the tennis. It's the tennis. And she goes, what do
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: you think about my look? What do you think about
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: the shirt? And he goes, no, okay. So I like
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: the shirt. But see, like, the shirt is okay for, like,
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: watching a soccer game. So the stitching, he's not run properly. Somebody,
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: by someone underpaid in some little country. And she's like, oh,
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: my God.
- 1:13:21Speaker 2: Sweatshop shirt.
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: You got it from Sheen. I can tell. So she
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: has a suitcase with her face on it from one
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: of her pageants, which was hilarious.
- 1:13:33Speaker 2: I didn't know you could do that.
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: He helps her with her shoes on the grate because
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: he's like, no, no, no. But it's nice that, I mean,
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: he's a fashionista. So he realizes that those shoes won't
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: work on the grate. So he's helping her and she's like,
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: oh my God, my shoes are not.
- 1:13:49Speaker 2: He's used to this. So he's not like, why did
- 1:13:52Speaker 2: you wear those shoes? Why did you wear those? You
- 1:13:54Speaker 2: can't even walk in them. He's like, no, this is fashion.
- 1:13:56Speaker 2: You have to wear them, but you need help walking.
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: Yes. So he's like, okay, okay. Perfecto. Perfecto. Okay.
- 1:14:03Speaker 2: We go home.
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: We go home. Let's go.
- 1:14:04Speaker 2: Let's go.
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: Let's go. Bambino. We finally begin our life in Italy.
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: And she goes, yeah, it's real. Don't fuck it up.
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: He's like, oh, he laughs. So they're driving and she goes,
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: where's your apartment? And he goes, oh, 20 minutes, 20 minutes.
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: She goes, why 20 minutes? I thought your apartment was
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: in the city. He goes, so I moved. So I'm
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: no longer too close to city center. Too many tourists,
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: too much, too much. She goes, so you moved and
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: you didn't tell me. And he goes, I mean, his
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: voice is so high. He goes, oh, it happened because
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: I'm never here. I'm never here. I'm always away and
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: I'm traveling. So I just find the situation more flexible.
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: And she goes, so why didn't you tell me that
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: you moved? He goes, I forgot. I have so many
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: things to do. I have so many calls. I have
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: so many things to do. And the talking head, she goes,
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: I just picked up my entire life to move here.
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: And he forgot to tell me that he moved. Like,
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: that's a huge detail to leave out. It's not truthful.
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: It's not honest. My blood is boiling. I am so mad.
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: I don't speak the language. And I know no one.
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: And now I'm isolated in this house. Like, I am pissed.
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: And as they drive up, she's like, oh, hell no.
- 1:15:23Speaker 2: I mean, I would be so pissed. That's ridiculous. I
- 1:15:29Speaker 2: feel like it takes active... planning to hide a move.
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: You have to not FaceTime or not show your background.
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: You have to not tell them what's going on in
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: your life, like boxes and packing.
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: You're moving.
- 1:15:44Speaker 2: It takes up your whole life. He maybe had assistants
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: helping him, but it's a huge thing. So if you
- 1:15:50Speaker 2: were not telling her about that, you were actively lying
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: to her.
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: Because he has a moped. So how did he move
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: with a moped? You know what I mean? He had
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: to like rent a truck. It took a lot of
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: planning to move like that. Oh, my God.
- 1:16:07Speaker 2: I'm sure he hired movers. But still.
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: So he's just lots and lots of time of ghosting
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: her when he was doing this moving process.
- 1:16:15Speaker 2: Yeah, he just chose not to talk to her for
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: like two weeks. Yeah.
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: So next time on. We see Andy and Nigel going
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: barefoot grocery shopping, and I say, no. And so she's
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: asking him, is your lover going to be at the party?
- 1:16:32Speaker 2: I don't like that. How many times are we going
- 1:16:35Speaker 2: to hear that word this season?
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: I don't know if lover or playmate is worse. Playmate
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: reminds me of the people on Double Lives and Suburban
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: Wives going, would we play with other couples?
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: So Zuri arrives in France, and they're in his apartment,
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: and he switches her phone to French and says, your
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: French lessons start now. I'm going to have to be
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: tough on you. Too controlling. I don't like it.
- 1:17:05Speaker 2: I don't like it, but if she had learned any French,
- 1:17:10Speaker 2: then this wouldn't really be a problem.
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: I would say give me four or five days to
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: acclimate to the time, and then let's start. doing French
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: lessons in the house just as we're getting ready. Right.
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: And then I'll be taking official French lessons. Just give
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: me one week to settle in and unpack.
- 1:17:26Speaker 2: For sure.
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: Please. Okay. So, Jessie. Jessie is pissed about the house.
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: She's pissed. And she's like, he lied about where he's
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: living and now I feel tricked. And we see these
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: animals and her like, what's that? And it's like a
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: horse comes by, a chicken, and she's like, what the?
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: And you can imagine if you thought you were going
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: to live in a city and he's going to go
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: to work and you're there with a bunch of animals
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: that you didn't.
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: Sign up for. Yeah, do I shuck hay now during
- 1:17:57Speaker 2: the day? Is that what you do with hay?
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: You bail it. You shuck it.
- 1:18:02Speaker 2: Shuck oysters.
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: Yeah, you throw it. I don't know what you do
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: with hay.
- 1:18:06Speaker 2: Shuck corn. I don't know things. I'm a city girl.
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: She's pissed. And Nigel arrives. Nope. Nope. niles see we're
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: gonna we're gonna yep niles niles arrives to pick up
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: matilda they're doing squishy face squishy hugging and he says
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: i want to tell her the truth but i'm not
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: sure how she'll react and we see her saying like
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: i feel deep shame but i don't think he's told
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: her yet i think she's just like my family will
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: say they feel deep shame if you haven't brought the
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: visa or a car or a ring for me so
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: a car um ali's friend is at the table i
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: think this is the same friend that was in the
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: class with her the lamaze class and says um maybe
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: ali is better off without you and he gets up
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: and storms off and tells production i'm again jesus fucking
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: christ like he's just lots of cursing and he says
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: i might not even stay here i might not even
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: stay here well you fucking better because you got a
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: kid on the way.
- 1:19:12Speaker 2: This guy is walking red flags i don't and he
- 1:19:15Speaker 2: seems on the on paper to have it all together
- 1:19:19Speaker 2: like right right job he works for his family business
- 1:19:22Speaker 2: he has two grown children and like but he is
- 1:19:25Speaker 2: someone did put a side by side and showed me
- 1:19:28Speaker 2: of him with the um green river what's his name
- 1:19:32Speaker 2: that killer the green river killer killer he looks like
- 1:19:36Speaker 2: serial killer essentially He.
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: Looks exactly like somebody else that's been on the show.
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: And it's something about like the nose and the glasses.
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: And it hasn't come to me, but it will come
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: to me. And it could be 12 episodes in, but
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: it will come to me. He looks like somebody else
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: that has been on the show with the glasses and
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: the nose.
- 1:19:53Speaker 2: Yeah. It's not Colt.
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: Absolutely not.
- 1:19:58Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: Mm-mm. So if anybody has a suggestion, let us know.
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: You can DM or you can, if you're on the

- 1:20:17Speaker 1: Keisha and Amy and Amanda and Becca and Kristen, our
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: social media gal was there. We had a blast. We
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: had so much fun. It was great.
- 1:20:26Speaker 2: We should do it.
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: We should do it again. I say we do it again.
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: In LA next year at yet another Hard Rock Cafe. Okay.
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: Because they're so easy to work with. Yeah. Yeah. Let's

- 1:20:47Speaker 1: go right over to LA.
- 1:20:49Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: Yeah. And that's it, everybody. We will see. I have
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: on Thursday this week, I have Melissa Reich, your BISH therapist,
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: on to talk about Bravo. And then after that, we're
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: still going to be doing Papa Bravo, but it's going
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: to be some sort of special episodes and things because
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: I will, in a week and a half, be going
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: to Italy to go to Vittoria's countryside home. I'll be
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: letting you know.
- 1:21:15Speaker 2: Tennis lessons.
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: Tennis lessons. Tennis lessons. Just go to the– oh, my God.
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: What if I go to Hermes and he's there?
- 1:21:22Speaker 2: I know.
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: Oh, my gosh. Now I'm so excited. Okay. And that's it, everybody.

- 1:21:47Speaker 2: What's it called? Yes. A great saint.
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. That show.
- 1:21:52Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: And Dateline will be new this week. And Kimberly's back.
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: Back with Katie. Back in the saddle again.
- 1:21:59Speaker 2: Yep.
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: I haven't watched it yet. I haven't watched it yet,
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: but I will.
- 1:22:04Speaker 2: I have to record right after this.
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: No!
- 1:22:06Speaker 2: Because my eyes are drooping.
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: Oh, no, girl. You run over to Starbucks. And I'll
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: see you guys later this week. And Kimberly and I
