- Rob (AI host): Your phone can now hand you a finished document, not just a chat answer. Dana (AI host): HubSpot says Breeze on mobile can build documents, email drafts, and web pages in a canvas you refine by chatting. Rob (AI host): Stay for Marcus, a made-up account manager who turns a photo into a shareable PDF before hotel checkout. Narrator (AI voice): This is Sidekick's What Just Shipped, presented by Sidekick Strategies. Narrator (AI voice): Your hosts, Rob and Dana, are AI. Narrator (AI voice): The voices are synthetic, the research is real, and humans check every claim before it reaches you. Rob (AI host): Housekeeping first: Dana and I are AI hosts. Rob (AI host): We don't carry phones, and we're reading HubSpot's mobile Breeze help article, updated in late October. Dana (AI host): And for this one, today I'm playing an account manager who preps renewal notes in hotel lobbies and refuses to open a laptop. Rob (AI host): Perfect fit. Rob (AI host): HubSpot's August product updates say Breeze on mobile can generate documents, email drafts, and HTML pages in a canvas you refine from chat, on iOS and Android. Dana (AI host): Okay, now I'm listening. Dana (AI host): Wait, a canvas, on a phone screen? Rob (AI host): That's the August wording. Rob (AI host): The help article calls each output an artifact, and we'll get to how you open one. Dana (AI host): Fine. Which accounts can use it? Rob (AI host): The help article is marked for all products and plans. Rob (AI host): One requirement: an admin has to turn on Give users access to Breeze Assistant in your AI settings. Dana (AI host): And can Breeze do anything I ask from my phone? Rob (AI host): No. HubSpot says user permissions decide which actions Breeze can perform. Rob (AI host): So it can't hand you more access than you already have. Dana (AI host): Good. How do I open it on my phone? Rob (AI host): On iPhone, open the HubSpot app and tap Ask Breeze in the lower right. Rob (AI host): On Android, tap the search bar at the bottom. Then type a prompt and tap send. Dana (AI host): And the documents? Rob (AI host): HubSpot calls them artifacts. Rob (AI host): They hold what Breeze makes in a conversation: documents, email drafts, and custom HTML pages. Rob (AI host): Each shows up as a card in the chat. Dana (AI host): So I tap the card. Rob (AI host): Right. Rob (AI host): In the artifact view you can read through it, then tap the X to get back to the chat. Rob (AI host): In the upper right there's a share icon, with options like Share as PDF. Dana (AI host): And if it's an email? Rob (AI host): You review it, edit it, and send it to the contact if you want. Rob (AI host): HubSpot's wording is send it if desired, so nothing goes out on its own. Dana (AI host): Is that the only way to draft an email on my phone? Rob (AI host): No. Rob (AI host): From a contact record, tap the email icon, then the AI icon at the bottom right. Rob (AI host): The content assistant asks for the email type, what you're selling, who you're selling to, what you want to say, the tone, and the language. Rob (AI host): Tap Generate, then Insert, or Regenerate for another try. Dana (AI host): Can I feed it something to work from? Rob (AI host): Yes. Rob (AI host): Tap the add icon in the chat box and pick Camera, Photos, Files, or HubSpot Files. Rob (AI host): HubSpot's own example prompts include, summarize this proposal and draft a follow-up email, and extract the contact details from this business card. Dana (AI host): Ha, lobby life, confirmed. Rob (AI host): Here's a made-up scenario. Rob (AI host): A hypothetical account manager, Marcus, snaps a photo of a client's printed renewal terms, asks Breeze for a one-page summary, tweaks it in chat, and shares it as a PDF before checkout. Rob (AI host): Nobody opened a laptop. Dana (AI host): And if typing on a phone is the problem? Rob (AI host): Tap the microphone icon, speak, then tap the checkmark. Rob (AI host): And if you set up a project on desktop, you can open it from the three dots menu, then Projects, and start a new chat with that project's context and reference materials. Dana (AI host): What about getting ready for the meeting itself? Rob (AI host): Ask Breeze to prepare for your next meeting. Rob (AI host): For meetings synced with HubSpot, it summarizes the related contact, company, deal, and ticket details, plus emails, calls, and notes. Rob (AI host): For meetings that aren't synced, it works from the calendar event information. Dana (AI host): And can I find yesterday's chat again? Rob (AI host): Tap the previous icon to reopen a conversation. Rob (AI host): Tap and hold one to rename it or delete it. Rob (AI host): Why it matters: the gap between a conversation and the follow-up gets shorter when the draft happens on the device already in your hand. Dana (AI host): So who benefits first? Rob (AI host): Our research points to field reps and account executives, founders who wear every hat, marketing ops leads keeping briefs moving, and customer success teams prepping summaries away from a desk. George B. Thomas (AI voice clone): Hey, it's George B. Thomas from Sidekick Strategies. George B. Thomas (AI voice clone): Full honesty, this is my AI voice clone, made with my permission. George B. Thomas (AI voice clone): A Breeze feature on every phone doesn't help if your team never opens it. George B. Thomas (AI voice clone): The hard part is adoption, not capability. George B. Thomas (AI voice clone): In our AI for HubSpot Teams workshop, I work onsite with your revenue team to build Breeze playbooks for each role, and wire real AI workflows into your live portal. George B. Thomas (AI voice clone): We also map what's free, what's gated, and what to ask your Super Admin to turn on. George B. Thomas (AI voice clone): Look under workshops at Sidekick Strategies dot com. Dana (AI host): Rob, where does our August write-up need a second look? Rob (AI host): Two spots. Rob (AI host): First, our write-up says you can export a document as a PDF or save it as HTML. Rob (AI host): HubSpot's article shows a share icon with Share as PDF as an example. Rob (AI host): We didn't find a save as HTML step, so treat it as unconfirmed. Rob (AI host): Second, it says each change saves automatically as you refine. Rob (AI host): HubSpot's article doesn't say that either way, so check the artifact before you share it. Dana (AI host): Fair, that's a real limit. Dana (AI host): What about client data in those photos? Rob (AI host): HubSpot points to its AI Trust FAQs and AI Model Cards for detail on security controls, data use, and compliance. Rob (AI host): If your team uploads client documents, an admin should read those first. Dana (AI host): And if the PDF looks off? Rob (AI host): Refine it in the chat before you share. Rob (AI host): HubSpot's update says you refine the canvas from chat, so ask for the change, then open the card again. Dana (AI host): Anything else to watch on a phone? Rob (AI host): HubSpot recommends keeping the mobile app updated for the best performance. Rob (AI host): And one detail: when you draft an email from a contact record with the content assistant, the text length option is on iOS only. Dana (AI host): So Android users, don't hunt for it. Rob (AI host): Right. Rob (AI host): And admins can manage AI feature access in AI settings and choose what data is shared. Dana (AI host): Okay. Give me a plan for my first week. Rob (AI host): Step one: confirm your admin has turned on Breeze Assistant access in AI settings. Dana (AI host): Step two: update the HubSpot app, then find Ask Breeze on iPhone, or the search bar on Android. Rob (AI host): Step three: try one real job, like a photo of a proposal turned into a one-page summary. Dana (AI host): Step four: open the artifact, read every line, then share it as a PDF. Rob (AI host): Step five: for emails, edit before you send, because Breeze drafts and you decide. Dana (AI host): Verdict from the lobby: use it for first drafts and quick PDFs, but read every word before anything leaves your phone. Rob (AI host): Try it once this week with a real document, not a test prompt. Dana (AI host): HubSpot's help article, the August product updates, and our research are linked in the show notes, and there's more at Sidekick Strategies dot com. Rob (AI host): Thanks for listening, and happy drafting. Dana (AI host): Draft on the go, read before sending. Narrator (AI voice): Sidekick's What Just Shipped is presented by Sidekick Strategies, with AI hosts Rob and Dana and AI-generated music.
