- 0:01Hello. Welcome to the No God Coach
- 0:03Huddle for February 3rd, 2026. A
- 0:06two-minute call from God's playbook to
- 0:08know him better so we can love and obey
- 0:10him more. Let's huddle up and hear
- 0:12today's play from Romans 13. Besides all
- 0:16this, you know, at what point of history
- 0:18we stand. So, it's high time for you to
- 0:21rouse yourself from sleep. For the final
- 0:24deliverance is nearer than when we first
- 0:27came to trust. The night is almost over.
- 0:30The day is almost here. So let us put
- 0:32aside the deeds of darkness and arm
- 0:35ourselves with the weapons of light. Let
- 0:37us live properly as people do in the
- 0:40daytime, not partying and getting drunk,
- 0:43not engaging in sexual immorality and
- 0:46other excesses, not quarreling and being
- 0:48jealous. Instead, clothe yourselves with
- 0:51the Lord Yeshua, the Messiah. And don't
- 0:54waste your time thinking about how to
- 0:56provide for the sinful desires of your
- 0:59old nature. Bro, brothers, let me ask
- 1:01you something straight up. Are we living
- 1:04like the end is near? Or are we thinking
- 1:06we've got all the time in the world? In
- 1:09Romans 13, Paul doesn't give us a
- 1:12prophecy chart. He gives us a wakeup
- 1:14call. He says, "It's high time for you
- 1:16to rouse yourselves from sleep, for our
- 1:19final deliverance is nearer now than
- 1:21when we first came to trust." Paul wrote
- 1:24that 2,000 years ago, and it's still
- 1:27true today. Whether Christ returns
- 1:30tomorrow or generations from now isn't
- 1:32the point. The point is this. We are
- 1:35always closer to the end than when we
- 1:37were yesterday. The men of God are
- 1:40called to live like that. Paul says the
- 1:42night is almost over and the day is
- 1:45already here. That means the night it's
- 1:47not time for spiritual laziness, moral
- 1:49compromise or distracted living. Men
- 1:52don't sleep through daylight hours. We
- 1:54work. And Paul gets specific. Paul said,
- 1:58"Set aside the deeds of darkness,
- 2:00drunkenness, sexual immorality,
- 2:02jealousy, quarreling, not because we're
- 2:04trying to clean ourselves up, because
- 2:07that way of life no longer fits who we
- 2:09really are. Those are nighttime
- 2:11behaviors and we are daylight men. So
- 2:14instead, Paul says, "Clothe yourselves
- 2:16with the Lord Yeshua, the Messiah."
- 2:18That's identity language. We don't just
- 2:21avoid sin. We put on Christ, his
- 2:23character, his obedience, his mission.
- 2:26And that mission hasn't changed. Jesus
- 2:29came to reconcile the world to God. Now
- 2:31we live as God pleasers and people
- 2:34seekers on commission to seek the lost,
- 2:37make disciples, and teach others to obey
- 2:39everything Jesus commands. Living with
- 2:42that end in mind isn't fear-driven. It's
- 2:44purpose driven. It means living
- 2:46intentionally, obeying consistently, and
- 2:49staying faithful to the work God has put
- 2:52in front of us. Brothers, the night is
- 2:54almost over. The day is breaking. It's
- 2:57time to wake up, to suit up, and to get
- 2:59to work. So run today's play. Wake up to
- 3:02where you've been drifting. Put on
- 3:04Christ intentionally. Don't leave
- 3:06obedience to chance. And take one step
- 3:09today toward helping someone know God
- 3:11and obey him. That's how daylight men
- 3:14live. If this huddle helps you know God
- 3:16better so you can love and obey him
- 3:18more, share it with a friend and write a
- 3:20quick review so others can find their
- 3:22way into the huddle.
