Hello, welcome to the live stream.
0:05
Thank you for being here today. We have a lot to cover, so let's
0:09
get started right now. Are we in for an extreme move in
0:16
the silver price and gold price? More than just potential?
0:20
Can we look at some actual facts and get super excited about
0:25
what's coming down the road for the precious metals?
0:28
I know we've been beat to a pulp over the last few years.
0:31
We don't need to cover that. Let's talk about potential for a
0:35
massive 10 year bull run in the silver price and the gold price.
0:41
I understand you're probably like me.
0:43
We don't even like to like we don't.
0:45
We don't give ourselves room within our minds to even allow
0:50
for the fact that we could have skyrocketing prices and silver
0:54
and gold. But I want to remind you, it was
0:56
OK for the S&P 500 to go into bubble territory.
0:59
It's OK for real estate to go into bubble territory.
1:04
It was OK for the bond market to go into bubble territory.
1:07
All those synthetic markets out there that are in bubble
1:11
territory. Some people might even include
1:15
some of the crypto currencies. Why can't we have it for silver
1:19
and gold? I've got two big components
1:22
regarding comparison of now to what happened in the 1970s and
1:28
80s in this country that are going to blow you away.
1:31
Let's dig into them right now. I appreciate you being here.
1:34
Please give this a thumbs up and you can subscribe to get a new
1:37
video, a new live stream every day from Ron's basement.
1:41
You can make some friends here. Subscribing is always free.
1:45
Thank you. OK.
1:48
Silver went up unbelievably, in the 1970s and 80s.
1:53
Are we in for an even bigger and better run right now?
1:57
Look, I don't have a crystal ball, don't make any financial
2:00
decisions based on anything that I'm telling you.
2:02
I'm just a normal guy like you. I'm in my basement.
2:06
But I think we've got a lot more to be excited about right now
2:11
than people in the 1970s. I was born in 1970.
2:15
I planned that purposely so that I can enjoy a bull run in the
2:20
silver and gold market. And now that I'm 54, I'm ready
2:23
for another one. OK?
2:25
In the 1970s, listen to this. And I dug into these numbers for
2:29
you. Silver alone rose from under a
2:33
dollar $51.50 per oz in 1970 to nearly $50.00 in 1980.
2:42
Thus silver rose by more than 25 times, or more than 2500%.
2:48
But that's not it. That's actually wrong when you
2:51
do the math. When you divide $50 by $1.50,
2:56
you come to 33 per or 33 times, not 33%.
3:01
Can you imagine that? 33 times?
3:04
OK. And I've actually heard some
3:05
people say that from the very bottom to the very top during
3:09
that period, it was more like 38 times.
3:11
But we'll be conservative because that's what we do here
3:14
in the basement. We'll say 25 times.
3:17
If you multiply, if we were to get those returns now at $25
3:22
silver now, right? If silver were to go up by 25
3:27
times, that would mean $625 silver.
3:33
I could have put that on the thumbnail.
3:34
People would have attacked me. It happened guys, in the 1970s.
3:38
But what's crazy and what we really need to consider here are
3:42
two big factors when we compare now to then that make that that
3:49
potentially make a move like that even more accentuated based
3:56
on what's going on now because things are different now and
4:00
they're different in a more exaggerated way that is more
4:04
conducive to the price of silver and gold.
4:07
OK, And let's remember, OK, let's remember this, I want a
4:12
little dose of reality. That $50 nineteen 80 high.
4:17
When you when you account for inflation in today's dollars,
4:21
that's about, I've heard, between 160, one $180 per oz.
4:25
So maybe we're shooting a little too high with $625 silver.
4:30
Nonetheless, I think I know I would.
4:32
Would you be happy with $160 silver right now?
4:37
Put it in the chat. Yeah, say 160.
4:40
You know what? I'll put my money where my mouth
4:43
is, 160. But what's even What's even
4:49
crazier about this? What's changed now?
4:51
OK, what's changed? Let's look at the big picture of
4:55
what's changed. OK, compared now compared to
4:57
1970, the 1970s. Now, from a fiscal perspective,
5:02
we know our government is way more out of control than it ever
5:06
was in the 1970s from a monetary policy decision.
5:10
We know the Fed and the printing.
5:12
Nobody talked about Burgos, the printing press back then, right?
5:16
The Fed was a bank back then, not a public relations firm like
5:20
it is now. So both fiscally our government
5:23
and monetarily the Fed things are more screwed up now, way
5:27
more screwed up, wouldn't you say, than they were in 1970 debt
5:32
levels. Now I think back then the United
5:34
States had a debt to GDP rate of ratio of like 30%.
5:39
Now we are above 100. I hear 100 and 21130 right?
5:43
Our debt. Do I need to pull up the US debt
5:45
clock? We don't even have to pull it up
5:47
anymore, do we? Basement dwellers?
5:49
We know it's going through the roof, the debt socially in this
5:53
country. Don't even get me started,
5:56
right? Things have disintegrated now
5:59
socially compared to back then, politically in this country,
6:03
right? We're in a big election year.
6:05
I mean, can you see this happening, All of these things
6:08
coming together right now and again?
6:11
We're comparing this to the 1970s when we had a a AA33X
6:17
return in silver. But politically, we're heading
6:20
into this election year, which will mean money, more money,
6:23
more free money. Printing.
6:25
Right? Why do you think Jerome did what
6:26
he did last week? What do you think President
6:29
Biden's going to do? He's going to promise all kinds
6:31
of free money for everybody, right?
6:34
Anything these politicians will try to buy people's votes.
6:38
Let's just be real. That happens in every election
6:41
year, Republican or Democrat. All right.
6:43
Geopolitically, do we need to even get started?
6:46
Israel war. Europe.
6:48
Ukraine. War.
6:49
China. Major issues.
6:51
North Korea. I mean the world geopolitically,
6:53
the bricks and the bricks. Plus, again, we're comparing now
6:57
to the 1970s when we had a 25 time, 33 time, 38 time return in
7:02
the silver price. Did I miss anything?
7:05
I don't know. There's more, but things.
7:07
The bottom line is from a big picture, but it gets even
7:10
better, 'cause there's a big, big, big.
7:13
But when we focus in on silver and gold, but specifically
7:17
silver things, something that's different now that is way
7:22
different and could mean that this move could happen literally
7:26
overnight, OK. But when we go back to what we
7:31
just talked about, that whole list of issues, things are,
7:34
wouldn't you say things are different now than back then?
7:37
I mean, and they're different in a much more escalated, negative
7:42
way, unfortunately, right, the last 50 years.
7:47
Hello. Oh, Susie Silver Surfer, thank
7:54
you for the Super chat and Tara Tiara.
7:56
I'm sorry I missed them. I get so focused on talking with
8:00
you. So thank you for the Super Chat.
8:02
Super chats. Never expected.
8:04
I never want you to donate any money to me that you can't
8:07
afford. But if you got a little extra
8:09
money and want to give a super Chat, it's always super
8:11
appreciated because I'm trying to raise 2 super 12 year old
8:14
daughter. So thank you, thank you, Thank
8:16
you. Appreciate it.
8:19
All those things are crazy, but what could happen?
8:22
I want you to think about this. Right, guys?
8:24
OK, here's the deal. When you talk to the old timers
8:29
about what happened in the 70s, they will tell you people were
8:33
lined up out the door of the coin shops wanting to get their
8:39
hands on some silver out the door around the block.
8:44
A lot of these coin shops would be so busy that they would have
8:48
to turn people away. OK, That was what happened with
8:52
silver during the 70s. Think about what's different
8:57
now. How do you think people
8:58
communicated back in the 70s? Well, they had their telephones,
9:01
right? And they had their water cooler
9:03
at work. They read newspapers.
9:04
They read magazines. It took time for news to spread
9:09
back then. We are living right now, excuse
9:14
me, in a much different environment.
9:16
News can spread instantly, absolutely instantly.
9:20
I'm telling you, if we get another run on Silver and look,
9:22
we just had one a year ago when we had the the three biggest
9:27
three of the four biggest banks in the history of the United
9:29
States, quite possibly the history of the world that
9:33
collapsed, right? That news spread ultra quick.
9:37
Bell time. OK, All right, hold on.
9:39
That's Susie talking to me through a walkie-talkie, which
9:43
I'm. I love.
9:46
All right. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
9:48
Let's ring it. All right, guys.
9:53
When we get the 200 thumbs up, we'll ring the cowboy news
9:56
travels much more quickly. It travelled ultra quick.
9:59
We have social media. You don't need me to tell you
10:01
that, right? You got Facebook, you got
10:02
Twitter, you got instant communication.
10:06
This silver run that we could have, right?
10:10
I don't know. I'm just saying if if we have
10:12
another run on silver, the news could spread quickly.
10:15
But what's even crazier when you compare now to then is you don't
10:20
have to see lines outside the door at the coin shop.
10:23
People can wipe out the available retail silver
10:27
literally in a matter of days, hours because of online
10:33
purchases. You don't have to go wait in
10:36
line at the coin store anymore. People will.
10:38
They'll probably could be lines at the coin store if this
10:41
happens. I'm not, you know, I'm just, I'm
10:44
not. I don't have a crystal ball.
10:46
I'm just telling you what I see, right?
10:48
But people, and that's what happened a year ago, people this
10:52
the news spread ultra quickly about the banks failing and the
10:55
news spread and people were taking money out of their bank
10:58
accounts instantly. People were also buying silver,
11:01
remember? Right?
11:03
Our friends at Pinbec's, our friends at at my All Mouse
11:06
Franklin, SD Bullion, all these big bullion companies, they they
11:10
were they were experiencing massive, massive increases in
11:15
sales and a lot of the companies had to institute like five week.
11:19
I remember six week waiting periods for inventory to be
11:23
shipped. I remember calling my local coin
11:26
shop. I actually went there and look,
11:28
they had nothing. Gone, all gone.
11:31
And I said, I'm just curious. If I were, I get all my silver
11:34
from Pimbex, but nonetheless, if I were to want to buy some
11:37
silver from you, they said it's going to take four weeks, 4
11:40
weeks. And it's a big, big shop that
11:42
moves a lot. So let's recap this because it's
11:46
very important. Number one, basement dwellers,
11:49
silver went up by 33 * 33 times. All right, 25 times.
11:56
Whatever you want to call it during the 70s.
11:58
OK, up through 198025 times. If silver were to do that from
12:03
today, that would make $625 silver.
12:06
But wait, things are different now.
12:08
Yeah, the whole world is screwed up on a much higher level,
12:11
fiscally, monetarily, socially, demographically, weather.
12:16
Right now we have global warming.
12:18
I forgot about that. Hey, that adds to the the demand
12:21
for silver for solar. We'll talk about that later.
12:24
OK, things are much more have escalated, the conditions have
12:27
escalated. But wait, there's even more.
12:29
Because now, with electronics, if there is to be right, if
12:33
there was another little burst of interest in silver, the news
12:38
will travel instantaneously. You don't have to wait to go to
12:42
the town square to hear it from the town crier.
12:45
You don't have to go to work and hear it at the water cooler.
12:49
You don't have to read about it in your newspaper.
12:51
No, you got the Internet. Now you can read about it
12:55
instantly. Oh, and by the way, you don't
12:59
have to go to your coin store to buy silver or gold.
13:02
You can buy it instantly. The supplies can be wiped out.
13:06
It could happen quickly. Mark my word.
13:08
OK, Today is what, the 23rd of March, 2024?
13:13
It can happen. OK, look, I'm not saying it's
13:17
gonna happen next month. I'm just laying out this.
13:20
The the facts as I see them. You make your own decision.
13:24
If by chance you do look at that, see my finger?
13:29
Pi, MB, EX Pinbex. You know who they are.
13:35
They're an online bullion dealer.
13:38
I learned about them about a year ago, a little over a year
13:41
ago from you, from fellow basement dwellers.
13:44
People said, hey Ron, you should check out Pinbex.
13:46
Couple of you did. So I went and checked out Pinbex
13:49
and I was like, wow, their prices are lower than all the
13:54
other online bullion dealers and pretty significantly.
13:57
And then I read about the company, I read the reviews and
14:01
wow, people really love this company.
14:03
And then I looked at their selection and I thought, they
14:05
have the exact same products that a lot of these other big
14:08
online bullion dealers have at a lower price.
14:11
I'm going to give them a chance. And I did.
14:13
I made several purchases from Pinbex before they sponsored my
14:18
channel, before I was affiliating myself with them.
14:22
And I consider it a big honor to have them as a sponsor, 'cause I
14:25
can feel good telling you that you might want to check them out
14:29
for yourself. I'm never going to tell you what
14:31
to do, but you may benefit from checking out Pembex next time
14:34
you want to buy some gold, silver, or platinum.
14:38
And if you ever want to convert an IRA part of an IRA into
14:42
precious metals, do yourself a favor.
14:44
Talk to them as well. You'll find when you deal with
14:47
Pembex, you always get more metal for your money.
14:52
Thank you, Pembex for sponsoring Ron's basement.
14:55
Let's move on, guys. OK, Make sure I didn't see it.
14:59
We could have another silver squeeze.
15:01
We could have another silver squeeze.
15:04
We could have another bomb go. I mean guys it can happen.
15:07
We could have a we could have a 10 year bull market in silver,
15:11
10 year bull market in gold, A10 year bull market in commodities.
15:16
I know it's like we're like we're like the we're like the
15:19
forgotten stepchild, us precious like we can't we don't think big
15:23
enough. I think sometimes we don't give
15:26
ourselves enough credit. Everybody else got to have a
15:28
crazy bull market. Maybe it's our turn.
15:32
OK. And you know the beautiful thing
15:34
I think about investing. I don't know how you feel about
15:37
this in precious metals. Here, here, I'll let me show you
15:40
this. A real beauty.
15:46
I'm always having a there look at that.
15:47
Isn't that absolutely beautiful? OK.
15:52
But the really beautiful thing I think about this silver is even
15:59
if we don't have the crazy bull market, we don't have the big
16:02
squeeze, we don't get to 625. You know, I feel comfortable
16:07
knowing from a risk perspective, right, owning this, the downside
16:12
risk in terms of it as an investment to me, just my
16:15
opinion is very minimal when compared to the upside
16:20
potential. Sure, this could go down $5 in
16:23
value over the next six months. Look, guys, anything's possible.
16:26
It could go down $8, it could go down $10.
16:29
You really think we're going to see $15 silver?
16:32
I don't. But it could happen.
16:33
And I realize, and I accept that, right?
16:36
Worst case scenario, right. But the upside, right?
16:40
This could be worth $100. This could be worth $200.
16:45
I don't know. Where do you think if I'm
16:46
sitting here in two years holding this up right today it's
16:49
worth about $30.00 because it's got a premium 28 whatever.
16:54
What do you think it's going to be worth 2 years from now?
16:57
Well, worst case scenario, I could be down here crying saying
17:01
it's it's only worth $20 or you know, whatever goes down a
17:05
little bit. But I believe it could be worth
17:07
a lot, lot, lot more. Again, I'm not having a crystal
17:11
ball. I don't have a crystal ball or
17:14
crystal balls for that matter. I'm just sharing with you my
17:17
honest opinion. It's a big deal that you're here
17:20
today. I really appreciate it.
17:22
OK. This is not possible without
17:24
you. So thank you.
17:25
Let's move on because we got a lot more to talk about.
17:29
Let's just do a quick review. Silver in the futures market was
17:33
down last week, 1.5% according to my calculations.
17:38
What you know about 2484 and you know this crazy moves in silver
17:45
'cause it was above $26 at one point, right.
17:48
And then down, up a dollar. Down a dollar.
17:50
I'm gonna talk to you about that silver buyer.
17:53
By the way, gold was actually up about half a percent for the
17:56
week 2166 in the futures market. Guys, guys, and I, I don't know,
18:02
do you feel this like like it was kind of a frustrating?
18:07
I won't say I'm depressed about the metals prizes, I would never
18:11
say that, right? But that's kind of was kind of
18:12
like a was kind of like a mini rug pull, right, 'cause
18:16
Wednesday we had gold shoot up to what, over $2200 per oz,
18:21
silver over $26 per oz. And then Thursday and Friday it
18:26
was a bit of a rug pull. Guys, we still have basically
18:29
$25 silver, which is good, right?
18:32
We're still fighting in there, and we have gold at 2166.
18:37
What do you think's going to happen this week?
18:39
What do you think? Next week when we're talking
18:41
about silver, we're going to be saying it'll be interesting to
18:44
find out. Let me move on to something,
18:47
though. Let's talk about this idea.
18:50
Right. Wednesday.
18:51
Wednesday. Yeah.
18:53
Wednesday we had $26 silver. OK.
18:58
I talked to a couple insiders Coin Shop, Chris and M1 of the
19:04
owners over at Pembax. Let me tell you what they told
19:07
me is going on kind of their feel for what's going on in the
19:11
retail bullion market. First our good friend.
19:13
Remember our we'll never forget him.
19:16
He's our friend. Coin Shop Chris was talking to
19:18
him last night. He said, quote, people are
19:21
buying 90% silver like no tomorrow, End Quote, OK.
19:27
He sees mostly Dimes and quarters that people are buying,
19:31
he said earlier. This is where I'm You're in
19:33
trouble. You're in trouble.
19:35
I'm mad at you. Yes, you.
19:38
I can be mad. Hey look, all relationships have
19:40
their ups and downs and you and I are going to get mad at each
19:43
other. Trust me, I get all kinds of
19:45
interesting emails, but I'm mad at you right now if you did this
19:50
earlier in the week. Coin shop Chris said when silver
19:53
was way up, people were buying like crazy.
20:00
Really. OK, later in the week when the
20:03
price dropped, silver sales dropped.
20:05
Guys, it's not you. I know your your basement
20:09
dwellers. Maybe I'm not mad at you, but
20:11
that is exactly what we've talked about so many times.
20:14
When the price shoots up, people will think, hey, it costs more
20:19
to get silver. I'm going to go buy some.
20:21
I mean, that's what people do when the price drops.
20:24
Right. Well, I don't want to buy
20:25
silver. It's the price is too low.
20:28
I want to wait for it to skyrocket.
20:30
I mean, uh, people, it it's very interesting.
20:36
But again, that adds more fuel to the fire if we do get a
20:39
massive uptick, Why do people do this?
20:43
Why don't, why don't you buy? And I know this is not you, and
20:46
I'm not really mad at you. I could never be mad at you,
20:50
right? No.
20:50
Why don't people buy when the price drops?
20:53
I don't know, right? People buy silver when the price
20:55
goes up. Well, guess what?
20:58
I think over the next year people are going to be buying a
21:00
lot of silver. I talked to Mike at Pembex.
21:03
I asked him, I said Mike, this was via text, but I said what
21:07
are you seeing? Coin shop.
21:08
Chris tells me that the 90%, there's an uptick in sales
21:12
quote. He said, hey Ron, we are seeing
21:16
strong demand for all 90% constitutional, but Dimes get
21:22
the nod. So Dimes are like in big demand,
21:25
OK? Washington quarters are
21:27
currently the best deal and Kennedy half dollars are the
21:32
hardest coin to keep on the shelf.
21:34
People want real money. End Quote.
21:38
Again, that's Mike at Pinbex, right?
21:40
He's doing a lot of volume. He's got a good feel for what's
21:43
going on out there. And again, they sponsor the
21:46
channel, but just super great guy, super smart guy, and I
21:51
appreciate that input. So people are buying
21:54
constitutional. We saw that about a year ago.
21:57
There's more and more people wanting real money.
22:01
Like Mike said, all right, let's circle back.
22:04
Circle back. Did you hear?
22:09
Did you hear? You know who?
22:12
Phillips Baker, CEO of the oldest?
22:15
A 100 year old Hekla mining, right, The biggest silver miner
22:19
in the United States. He had some interesting comments
22:23
to make. Let's read through these 'cause
22:24
this has everything to do with silver, he said.
22:28
The demand for silver is all about the energy transition
22:31
right now. Photovoltaics.
22:33
A fancy way to say solar panels. 180 million ounces of silver
22:39
were used last year in the solar industry, 180 million.
22:43
That's like 20% of the world's mine output.
22:47
But it gets more interesting here.
22:49
In a year or two, it could be well over 250 million oz per
22:55
year. Let me remind you of something
22:57
very inconvenient for those friends of ours over at the
23:00
COMEX in the LBMA, they're going from 180 million to 250 million
23:06
demand for silver. The supply, the amount being
23:10
mined is dropping. Just saying, OK, a year or two
23:18
from now that'll be overturned 50 million.
23:21
What's interesting is he he brought up the point that 5-10
23:24
years ago this demand in the from the solar industry was
23:28
pretty much non existence. It was more of an afterthought.
23:31
But now it's becoming like could become like sucking up like 30
23:36
to 40% of the mining output within the next coming two
23:40
years. Price does not match up with
23:43
underlying fundamentals. The price of silver does not
23:48
match up with the underlying fundamentals.
23:51
It doesn't, right? We know that, OK, Over 1/2 of a
23:56
billion oz over the last three years, right, had been pulled
24:01
out of above ground surplus supplies to plug these deficits.
24:06
We've had deficits in the silver market for the last three years.
24:09
Where does the silver come from? Well, it comes from the above
24:13
ground supplies. Nobody knows for sure how much
24:15
is really, really there. But we do know one thing, right?
24:19
We do know one thing. Over the last three years, at
24:21
least a half a billion oz have been pulled out of this excess
24:25
supply. And guess what, another
24:29
inconvenient truth for the silver industry.
24:33
Number one, like we said, the amount coming from the mines is
24:37
going down. Don't tell anybody that.
24:40
OK, right. But #2, they've been pulling,
24:44
they've been pulling it out of the reserves, the above ground
24:46
reserves. Guess what, guys?
24:49
That's finite. That's not infinite, right?
24:52
We That's one of the things we love about silver and gold and
24:56
platinum and Palladium, right? And land and oil, anything real.
25:02
But especially silver. It's finite.
25:05
There's only so much. So for now.
25:07
Yeah, they can suck a extra 500 million ounces of silver over
25:12
the last three years out of the above ground supply, but it
25:15
ain't going to last forever. All good things come to an end
25:19
and it could be coming to an end very, very soon.
25:22
I'm going to take a little break here and have a drink of water.
25:24
I'll be right back. So what is also crazy, I did a
25:41
little research, right. We know India imported 70
25:44
million ounces of silver in February.
25:46
That's only about 10% of the world's mine output for the
25:48
whole year. Most people are saying it's
25:51
because of of solar. So I did a little research.
25:54
I'm going to pull up just one picture.
25:56
You're probably tired of looking at me, huh?
25:58
I understand. I'm going to pull up one picture
26:02
and show you that, my friends, is an Indian solar farm.
26:08
India has the biggest solar farms in the world.
26:13
OK? This one is up near Pakistan,
26:17
and it's only about the size of Manhattan.
26:22
OK. Phillips Baker was talking about
26:24
the amount of GW, megawatts. I'm not.
26:27
I don't really get all that. And it's something I haven't
26:29
really wanted. But that solar, we look at each
26:31
one of those panels, each one of those panels, you can think
26:36
about a little silver bar because each one of those panels
26:39
has a little bit of silver in it.
26:42
OK. All right.
26:45
Let's come back to you, my friends.
26:48
How's everybody doing tonight? Happy Saturday night.
26:50
It's Saturday night. It's a Saturday night special.
26:53
We're together. It's a big deal.
26:55
This community is awesome. Thank you so much for being
26:58
here. Thank you to all the moderators
27:00
for being here. OK, the moderators are great.
27:03
Let's type in 888888. All right.
27:07
I'm going to ask you to do something.
27:08
It's a call to action. It's free.
27:10
Type 888. To say thank you to those who
27:13
moderate Susie. We I don't know who's all on
27:16
tonight. It's hard for me to keep track
27:17
of the. It's hard it's hard to do all
27:20
this at the same time. I I love it, right?
27:25
But it it it's hard to keep track of everything at the same
27:28
time. OK, let's not forget, Let's just
27:34
review on this one really quick 'cause it's more good news for
27:38
silver investors. OK, Everything is synthetic.
27:43
Everything is. My old friend Kenny Kagunga
27:45
Lunga from college used to say it's all funny money, right?
27:50
I could pull up extras pyramid for you, but at the end of the
27:52
day, in this world you have silver and gold that are the
27:57
base of everything really. God's money, Mother Nature's
28:01
money. Real money, right?
28:04
Have been everything else. Would you agree or disagree?
28:09
Right is paper dollar. I don't even have any down here.
28:11
Paper dollars, paper, foreign paper and Bolivar.
28:17
Paper. Euro.
28:17
Paper. yen. Paper.
28:19
Paper. Paper.
28:20
Paper. Paper.
28:21
Right. Silver and gold are the only
28:23
real forms. You got paper money, You got
28:25
bank money. You got government debt.
28:28
Oh, I got to ring the bell. All right, hold on.
28:31
Bear with me. We got too many people on this
28:49
live stream. 400 people on a Saturday night.
28:53
Hey, you know how to have a good time, right?
28:56
Come to Ram's basement. We'll ring cowbells together.
29:00
For those of you who are new, we ring the cowbell for 200 thumbs
29:03
up. It's a symbol of our love and
29:05
camaraderie with each other. Envision us all sitting around a
29:08
campfire at Camp Silver Silverstone, right?
29:12
We're all together. We're talking about what we
29:14
love. Seriously, it's a big deal when
29:16
you're here. I appreciate you.
29:17
There's only one you. They didn't call it Ron Tube.
29:20
They called it YouTube because you're the most important part.
29:24
And that's the truth. Where was I?
29:26
Oh, all the Everything's fake. Everything's make believe.
29:30
It's all fake. Gold and silver are real.
29:33
Everything, Everything else is synthetic, right?
29:36
Remember the cars in the 70s? We had a 1976 Pontiac Lemon
29:41
Sports coup. It had this red fake,
29:43
leatherish. We called it pleather.
29:46
Plastic leather. It's all fake.
29:48
It's not real, right? And that's gold and silver are
29:51
real. Paper.
29:52
Money's paper. Fake right?
29:55
Government bonds. Give me a break, Eisenhower.
29:59
I mean, really, derivatives. This derivative market is out of
30:03
control. All this stuff.
30:05
All these bonds that are on all the central bank.
30:08
It's not just the United States. It's all over the world.
30:11
It's extras world pyramid. It's all fake.
30:15
It's all make believe. It's all synthetic.
30:17
OK, all right. And all these bonds just for
30:20
instance, that are all over with these higher interest rates, all
30:23
the banks in the world are pretty much insolvent right now
30:28
when all that stuff right. Remember silver and gold are
30:30
down here. When it all starts to fall down
30:33
and look for a new home, right, people are going to be looking
30:36
around saying what should we do? Well, why don't we do what
30:40
people have done for the last 4000 years, Gomer, let's put it
30:44
in silver and gold, right? You could put it in Tulip bulbs.
30:49
You never know, they may come back.
30:55
That just shows you how crazy people are in the world.
30:58
There was a period of time when there was Tulip mania.
31:01
It was a bubble. Tulip bulbs were sun.
31:03
So all that money will make its way back into silver and gold.
31:07
Don't forget that. OK?
31:09
That's all the money starts falling back and that'll be
31:12
could be a big move. OK, what else do we have?
31:16
That we got a lot. I got notes.
31:18
I'm sorry. I tried to keep on track, but
31:20
it's really hard. OK, Andrew McGuire over at Live
31:24
from the Vault. You know who he is, right?
31:26
He's the famous British whistleblower on dealing with
31:29
the LBMA. He that guy knows everything
31:32
about the intricacies of the Comex in the LBMA, and I'll let
31:37
you watch him. I'd highly recommend you watch
31:40
Live From the vault every week, because that guy, I'm not even
31:43
going to act like I have the level of knowledge he has, but
31:47
you can learn from him and he's saying there's trouble in
31:50
paradise when it comes to the physical market versus the fake
31:54
synthetic Comex in the LBMA. There are things going on.
31:58
Let me tell you he six weeks ago when I talked to him, I was on
32:03
his show, he he was, he was talking and giving hints that
32:07
there were something was going on with India.
32:10
And then we got you know four weeks later this big news.
32:13
He knows how to read. He knows how to put the crumbs
32:16
together. And he's saying, you know it
32:20
maybe it could be months away instead of years away that we
32:24
see this physical market challenge, the fake, the fake
32:29
synthetic market. I'm hearing stories.
32:31
Who was it? Several people are telling me
32:35
more and more countries, more and more companies are going
32:39
straight to the silver miners. We heard something about Tesla
32:43
recently. I think it was with Impact
32:46
Silver subsidizing one of their projects so that they could
32:50
have, I guess dibs on the silver that are going to come out of
32:53
it. You're hearing more and more
32:54
about Chinese smelters, refiners going straight to Mexico and
32:59
securing their silver that way, bypassing the COMEX and the
33:04
LBMA. We know what Keith Newmar with
33:07
First Majestic Silver is doing. Go Keith Newmar, I don't he's a
33:10
warrior for the silver community, right.
33:13
He he built his own minting facility in Nevada so that he
33:18
can take the silver that they mine in Mexico and make it
33:22
available directly to the retail customers.
33:25
I think that's going to prove to be a brilliant move on his
33:29
behalf. Things are changing right now in
33:32
the silver market. OK, I'm sorry, but it is.
33:35
What about here? This is, this is.
33:37
Don't take the Don't get mad at me.
33:39
Don't get mad at me. This is good news.
33:41
This is bad news. How can something go from being
33:45
good news for Silver, the bad news for Silver to good news for
33:49
Silver? Let's see if I can pull this
33:51
off. Premiums on Silver.
33:53
Meaning when you go, let me show you this real quick.
33:57
One of my favorite websites to go to Peda.
34:01
Pimbex. See Gold 2165.
34:04
That's spot, I believe Silver 2467 right now, whether you're
34:11
at Pimbex or any other bullion seller.
34:14
OK, But especially Pimbex, 'cause they're prices seem to be
34:17
best, you're going to find premiums have dropped down,
34:20
premiums are down. The amount you have to pay above
34:23
the spot price to buy your silver.
34:25
Most all of you know this has come down a year ago, right now.
34:29
For instance, American Silver Eagles.
34:32
I asked Coin Shop Chris about this a few weeks ago.
34:34
He said they were selling for $52 each at one point last year.
34:38
Right now. Right now, I think the prices
34:42
are like 28. You can go to Pinbec's and check
34:44
it out for yourself. Well, let's let's just for fun,
34:46
let me go here. American Silver Eagle.
34:50
There we go. So, all right, yeah, about
34:55
$30.00 for an American Silver Eagle.
34:57
Yep, 22,024 Eagle 2946. Obviously those prices fluctuate
35:06
depending on how many you buy, but just say $30.00 for an
35:09
American Silver Eagle that a year ago got as high as $52 per
35:15
oz, OK or per coin. So premiums, that's good news,
35:20
right? Premiums have come down on on
35:23
silver now let's get back to this.
35:27
So that's good news. But the bad news embedded in
35:31
that is that that means that's because demand is down, retail
35:35
demand in the West in the United States for silver, I don't know
35:39
about gold coins, it's like I won't speak to that, but for
35:43
silver retail demand is down, down.
35:46
That's bad, right. Well, I guess, I mean, I'm sure
35:52
the Chinese and the Indians are very happy that that's the case
35:55
because everybody else in the world except in the United
35:59
States because we only buy when the price skyrockets like we
36:02
covered earlier. But we're the only place right,
36:05
where where where there's not a robust demand for silver.
36:10
So I guess that went from being good news that the premiums are
36:13
down to bad news, right. But is it really good news?
36:16
And I'll tell you why, because the silver price is hanging
36:19
tough. It's fighting to break out of
36:21
this wedge. And when when your fellow
36:25
Americans wake up, right, And even not you basement to others,
36:30
'cause you're the smart ones. But the let's say that that that
36:35
portion of the stacking community that really only likes
36:38
to buy when the price goes up, right when they wake up, that
36:43
could be the good news. That can be the marginal piece
36:46
of demand. When we have a situation like we
36:47
had a year ago during the banking situation and people
36:51
wake up, it could be great, great news for the silver prize.
36:56
It could be this confluence of factors coming together.
37:00
OK, it's we got a lot to look forward to in that.
37:04
In that regard, I don't know guys, it's going to be
37:08
interesting, right? I got a lot more to talk about.
37:11
I'll be back. I want tomorrow.
37:12
I want to talk about the Fed. Everybody's so focused on the
37:15
Fed, the Fed, the Fed, the Fed. I'm fed up with the Fed #1, the
37:20
Fed, the Federal Reserve Bank. Do you know it is really not
37:25
officially part of our government.
37:26
It's a privately owned bank. OK, you probably knew that
37:30
already. But everybody's so focused on
37:32
the Fed at the end of the day the yes, we.
37:37
Have a question? OK, we have a question from.
37:41
Leanne She wants to know which is better to start
37:46
constitutional silver or fractional silver?
37:49
OK. So we have a question from the
37:53
audience, which is better to stack constitutional silver or
37:59
fractional silver? And I believe when she's
38:01
referring to fractional silver, she may be saying like, you
38:05
know, 110th oz silver. Actually I bought some 110th oz
38:11
Silver Britannias or half oz coins or quarter oz coins or
38:18
what was the other or constitutional.
38:22
OK, I'll give you my opinion and this is just my opinion.
38:25
I generally, except for novelty purposes, stay away from
38:31
fractional silver, meaning anything below an ounce as I say
38:35
that. Hi Susie, that's Susie everybody
38:39
say hi to Susie. She she lives in this
38:42
walkie-talkie and I can turn her off whenever I want to.
38:45
Everything Thank and thank you for the Super chat on that
38:51
question. As I say that, I want to show
38:52
you something that I have right here.
38:54
I bought these the other day because they were a good deal.
38:58
OK, this is a what is it? This is a 1/2 ounce Canadian
39:07
coin. I'm trying to get to focus.
39:09
Aren't they beautiful? I mean anyways, Space Force or
39:13
something. It's worth $2.00 usually.
39:15
I would definitely recommend staying away from fractional
39:19
silver. I got those for the same price
39:22
that that I could buy, like American Silver Eagles in terms
39:27
of premium. The reason I say that to stay
39:29
away from fractional silver is you're going to pay through the
39:33
nose for it. I bought from Pinbex a little
39:36
while ago a little tube of 110th oz UK Britannia coins, 'cause I
39:43
always wanted to buy, they call them lipsticks.
39:46
It's like a little tube, like a thing of lipstick.
39:48
And I knew I was paying, but I bought it, 'cause I I like small
39:51
things, right? Like little toys.
39:55
And I've, I've always had a fascination, so I like, I like
39:58
fractional silver as a novelty. Now some people say, oh Ron, but
40:02
if when the zombies are walking around, you can use fractional
40:06
silver, you don't, you know. I I think 1 oz is still going to
40:10
be reasonably functional if we do have a zombie apocalypse,
40:14
which I don't think we're going to have a zombie apocalypse
40:20
apocalypse. No, I don't.
40:24
But we could, right? But I still think if we do one
40:28
ounce, you know, I got at least 1/2 ounce coins could be.
40:33
So what I'm saying is I think the constitutional even from
40:37
that regard Dimes quarters, 50 Cent pieces, silver dollars,
40:42
you're going to be OK and you're going to get a better deal than
40:46
if you buy some of these. I'm not against it, right.
40:49
I think it's cool. It's fun.
40:51
I hope I answered your question because you want to get in my.
40:54
I always like to say I want to get as much medal for my money,
40:58
right? I say that about pin backs all
41:00
the time. So maybe it doesn't hurt to have
41:03
some 110th oz pieces, some half oz pieces, whatever.
41:08
But I would think the minimum size that a person wants to
41:11
really build a silver stack with would be starting with One
41:15
Ounce, One Ounce rounds, 1 oz Silver Eagles, One Ounce UK
41:19
Britannias. That's my that's my opinion.
41:23
Thank you for that question. That was a great question.
41:26
I I always just want to reiterate the people what I
41:30
She's back you got. A stacking server just gave.
41:35
You a super chat? Oh, thank you.
41:36
Stacking Server. Good to see you.
41:38
Hey guys, go check out the stacking server channel.
41:41
He's growing. I'm telling you, this guy's
41:43
going places. Hey.
41:45
He he also wants to know what your favorite coin is to stack.
41:52
My favorite coin. I would have to say at the end
41:55
of the day, I love American Silver Eagles.
41:59
But I also, because my great grandpa was from South Africa,
42:03
came to Saint Louis for the World's Fair.
42:05
He was a cavalry man. He was a boar.
42:08
They were fighting over gold with the British and the boars.
42:12
Anyway, it's a long story anyway, so I like Krugerrands.
42:16
I probably if I if I and I and I love American Silver Eagles.
42:22
And I get what I really love too.
42:24
Individual coins like this one came from my friend Elaine over
42:29
in Paris. He's a big supporter of the
42:32
channel and this is like these different coins from around the
42:37
world. I forget where this one's from.
42:39
Tara 2020. Some of my favorite ones are the
42:44
just the random ones that people occasionally send me.
42:48
So, stacking server, Great to see you guys.
42:50
I'm telling you, he's an up and Comer.
42:52
You can go check him out. Another guy you want to check
42:54
out is a guy named Pound of Gold.
42:59
OK, remember that. Like, just your dream in life,
43:01
right? Pound of gold.
43:04
I was talking to him. That's why I'm so tired.
43:06
I gave him a hard time. I was talking to him for like 45
43:08
minutes right before the live stream.
43:09
I said I'm going to be dead for the live stream pound of gold
43:12
and I'm going to blame it on you.
43:13
And he laughed and he was like, yeah, blame it on me.
43:18
Those are probably I, I, you know, stacking surfer.
43:22
And you just had Andy Scheckman on, so you can check that out,
43:25
right? Andy Scheckman.
43:26
No stacking surfers going places.
43:29
Pound of gold is also going places.
43:32
He's been doing live streams on a daily basis.
43:34
So check him out. Maybe someday we could all be
43:36
together on a live stream. That would be fun.
43:39
So, all right, guys, I'm going to wrap it up right now.
43:42
I'll be back tomorrow. I'm going to talk more about the
43:44
Fed. Why?
43:45
I can't help it. I can't help it.
43:47
OK. The Fed, I don't think they're
43:49
gonna really lower rates. OK.
43:52
I don't think they can really raise rates either.
43:54
And I think that we are gonna be in for some interesting times
43:58
from a real interest rate environment.
44:01
I'll talk more about that tomorrow.
44:03
You have a great Saturday night. Thank you everyone for being
44:05
here. Thank you for the Super chats
44:08
and most importantly, right, your presence.
44:11
Right. This is not possible without
44:13
you. Oh, and I need to talk about
44:16
there's been a lot of questions about my health situation.
44:19
Yes, I have some health thing going on.
44:21
Bad back, really bad back abdominal problems.
44:26
I won't give you all the details, but I've got an MRI
44:28
coming up this week. I did have a CAT scan that said
44:31
everything was great and dandy, so that's good.
44:34
But an MRI coming up this week. I do have some moderate pain
44:37
that I'm dealing with and kind of been feeling a little worn
44:41
out lately. Maybe it's been 2 years of
44:45
putting out a piece of content every day, but I wouldn't have
44:48
done it any other way. I'll keep you posted, but until
44:52
further notice, you can expect something from me every day.
44:56
And you're always welcome to join me in the basement.
44:59
OK, We got a great community and again, that's not possible
45:03
without you. Thank you to my wife Susie for
45:05
all her love and support and endless kindness and all the
45:10
moderators that help out with the channel.
45:13
All right. And one more time I'll say thank
45:16
you to you. All right, guys, have a great
45:18
night and I'll see you soon.
