- 0:28Speaker 2: I hosted the show second night.
- 0:30Speaker 1: That's so great. How was it?
- 0:32Speaker 2: It was good. She is number one, really nice and
- 0:37Speaker 2: took the best care of me and everyone else there,
- 0:40Speaker 2: and she's built this really impressive community. The whole thing
- 0:45Speaker 2: was just really well done. So shout out to Alex
- 0:48Speaker 2: Cooper everybody at the Unwell Family. Thank you for being
- 0:51Speaker 2: so kind to me. I had the best time. It
- 0:53Speaker 2: was really good.
- 0:54Speaker 1: I love that.
- 0:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 0:55Speaker 1: Were you there the day that DJ Meredith Mars was there?
- 0:59Speaker 2: I saw Meredith. I think that my show was on Saturday,
- 1:02Speaker 2: her show was on Friday.
- 1:04Speaker 1: On Friday? Yeah, and then am I allowed to bring
- 1:07Speaker 1: up a little nugget that you just shared with me?
- 1:09Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:10Speaker 1: Yeah, you are okay, So tell me, tell me I
- 1:12Speaker 1: just saw a little sneak. Yeah.
- 1:14Speaker 2: I'm coming out of DJ retirement myself, so I'm going
- 1:17Speaker 2: to start back You know what you saw, Well, you
- 1:20Speaker 2: did Coachella, remember when I did Coachella. But I also
- 1:23Speaker 2: did like the Mosquito Show the year before. So and
- 1:26Speaker 2: you know my first husband was a DJ. Oh right,
- 1:29Speaker 2: that's right. So, I mean it's been in my blood
- 1:31Speaker 2: for a long time, and I decided, fuck it, let's
- 1:36Speaker 2: do it, do it again, Let's do it again. So
- 1:38Speaker 2: I'm excited. Yeah, I'm putting my stuff together now, brushing
- 1:42Speaker 2: up because you know, you got to do it right.
- 1:44Speaker 2: And there you go.
- 1:46Speaker 1: That's so fun. When do you think it'll start soon?
- 1:48Speaker 2: I think we may have our first gig before the
- 1:52Speaker 2: end of the year. Really, yeah, I mean I'm still looking.
- 1:55Speaker 2: I'm putting together possibly. I mean, there's a couple of
- 1:59Speaker 2: different options here. There's a few different options. But of
- 2:02Speaker 2: course i'll let you know. Yeah, yeah, of course I'll
- 2:04Speaker 2: let you know. Come by for five ten minutes.
- 2:06Speaker 1: We were laughing because the other day.
- 2:08Speaker 2: Yeah, come by for five to ten minutes at the gig.
- 2:10Speaker 2: You know, She's like, yeah, oh yeah, well I mean
- 2:14Speaker 2: this you're saying that, well, come by because you know,
- 2:17Speaker 2: who knows how long she want to stay.
- 2:19Speaker 1: I mean, you know, I can sure stay more than
- 2:22Speaker 1: five ten right.
- 2:23Speaker 2: I mean, you know it's going to be loud and
- 2:25Speaker 2: really loud.
- 2:26Speaker 1: So whatever, it's clubbing, you crack me up.
- 2:29Speaker 2: I was actually really inspired because we went to the
- 2:31Speaker 2: opening of the Marquee reopened Unwell had their after party
- 2:37Speaker 2: at one of the after parties at Marquee, and they've
- 2:40Speaker 2: done a beautiful reopening. Shout out to Marquee and at
- 2:44Speaker 2: the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas stunning. Like the club, it's
- 2:48Speaker 2: like clubbing is back. I feel, yeah, I feel as
- 2:52Speaker 2: if dance music is back. I mean it never really left,
- 2:54Speaker 2: but my love for dance music has returned, and it's
- 2:59Speaker 2: nice to get up there and have some fun.
- 3:01Speaker 1: That's cool. I like it. I like it. I'm proud
- 3:04Speaker 1: of you.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Thank you babes.
- 3:05Speaker 1: They're always like, it's really an inspiration because you're always
- 3:09Speaker 1: working on the next thing.
- 3:10Speaker 2: I think it's important for my brain. It's just how
- 3:13Speaker 2: my personality works. I need to be busy. I enjoy creating,
- 3:18Speaker 2: and this is something that I've always loved and I've
- 3:20Speaker 2: always done.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Yeah, if you had to pick your favorite way of performing,
- 3:25Speaker 1: would you say it's djinghing?
- 3:27Speaker 2: No, it's like being on Broadway or my own show,
- 3:30Speaker 2: my own Erica Jane show, like the one in London
- 3:32Speaker 2: for Mighty Hoopla. Yeah, I mean I love the DJ bit.
- 3:35Speaker 2: You're playing other people's records, right, and you're hyping a
- 3:38Speaker 2: crowd up. But when you're doing your own show, it's
- 3:40Speaker 2: like you're doing your own show. Yeah, you know, that's
- 3:41Speaker 2: a different that's a different relationship with an audience. Yeah
- 3:44Speaker 2: than standing behind decks.
- 3:47Speaker 1: And showing a different type of vulnerability.
- 3:50Speaker 2: Yeah, and just really like throwing your entire body and
- 3:52Speaker 2: soul into it.
- 3:53Speaker 1: Are you missing Broadway at all?
- 3:55Speaker 2: A little bit? Yeah, a little bit. Yeah. I had
- 3:58Speaker 2: a conversation the other day about possibly going back.
- 4:02Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:03Speaker 2: Yeah, but you know, it's a real commitment, which is great,
- 4:08Speaker 2: but it takes a lot out of you, but it's
- 4:09Speaker 2: so fucking worth it. Yeah, you know, it's fucking worth
- 4:12Speaker 2: it at the end of the day.
- 4:13Speaker 1: It's pretty amazing.
- 4:15Speaker 2: At the end of the day. You have to check
- 4:16Speaker 2: these things off.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Yeah, there's a lot of stuff going on right now,
- 4:20Speaker 1: and then you know, we'll reconvene when we when we
- 4:23Speaker 1: get to Bravo kan Oh god, are you going yes, yeah,
- 4:29Speaker 1: I think two panels. I know I'm gonna need.
- 4:32Speaker 2: You, Okay, that's fine. I'm gonna need you. I don't
- 4:36Speaker 2: know who's open who you know? That is a to
- 4:40Speaker 2: everybody that's listening. Bravo con is great. I mean, it's
- 4:42Speaker 2: great for the audience and it's a great way for
- 4:47Speaker 2: everyone at Bravo to to say thank you and give
- 4:51Speaker 2: FaceTime to all of those that support everyone on Bravo.
- 4:54Speaker 2: But it is a hard schedule for four days. Yeah,
- 4:56Speaker 2: it is a very very demanding schedule. And I do
- 4:59Speaker 2: show oh yeah. But there's something about that in person feel,
- 5:05Speaker 2: you know, that's it's it's demanding and meeting so many people,
- 5:10Speaker 2: That's what I'm talking about, the energy of so many people.
- 5:13Speaker 1: And being on for so long. Yes, yeah, a lot.
- 5:16Speaker 2: It's a lot, but I'm sure Bravo makes the killing.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Yeah, and I think and it is a fun way
- 5:26Speaker 1: for all the housewives to kind of meet each other
- 5:29Speaker 1: that haven't met before, or to see people that you've
- 5:31Speaker 1: gotten along with and or I always enjoy that.
- 5:34Speaker 2: I enjoyed that too, because a lot of the people
- 5:36Speaker 2: I don't know from other shows. Yeah, and it's nice
- 5:39Speaker 2: to connect with them and say hello. I mean, and
- 5:42Speaker 2: a lot of us other housewives we don't know each other.
- 5:44Speaker 1: Yeah. So, and without this pod, I wouldn't probably watch
- 5:49Speaker 1: all of the different franchises. But now that I know
- 5:52Speaker 1: every single franchise, I'm like, Okay, do I walk in
- 5:55Speaker 1: and I'm I'm high, like have yourself or am I like?
- 6:00Speaker 1: Oh shit, this person probably hates me.
- 6:03Speaker 2: So what that's part of the game. They know what
- 6:05Speaker 2: the deal is. How about the Salt Lake Girls getting
- 6:07Speaker 2: the cover of what is it us? Or something?
- 6:09Speaker 1: I know, but it was from the Vanity Fit from
- 6:12Speaker 1: the original Vanity Fair Desperate Housewives.
- 6:14Speaker 2: That's fine.
- 6:14Speaker 1: I think it's fine now for them.
- 6:16Speaker 2: I was with Heather Gay at the Unwell weekend. We
- 6:20Speaker 2: had a nice moment together. She's really sweet. I've never
- 6:24Speaker 2: really had that kind of in person FaceTime with her.
- 6:27Speaker 2: But they're doing really well. Yeah, that show's doing really well.
- 6:29Speaker 2: Good for them.
- 6:30Speaker 1: I mean you you wouldn't even believe it.
- 6:33Speaker 2: I've never watched a show, and but I know You've
- 6:37Speaker 2: always been like a really good fan.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Yeah, like I'm they deliver, They deliver, and then they
- 6:42Speaker 1: move on and then something else. And I mean they.
- 6:46Speaker 2: They could be the strongest Housewives franchise.
- 6:49Speaker 1: They could be right now, sure, I would say, yeah, yeah,
- 6:52Speaker 1: that's fair.
- 6:53Speaker 2: To say.
- 6:54Speaker 1: I think, you know, they put in the work, and
- 6:58Speaker 1: also the past is right, they have is right, they
- 7:01Speaker 1: have fun, and I think that's the part that's missing
- 7:04Speaker 1: from so many of these franchises. Yeah, it's having fun. Yeah, Like, yes,
- 7:09Speaker 1: these these women fight, but then they always go back
- 7:13Speaker 1: to like laughing, partying, doing whatever. And I think that's
- 7:18Speaker 1: where a lot of the other places they clock it
- 7:21Speaker 1: in and they clock out.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Yeah, they get it wrong. Yep, I listen and I'm
- 7:26Speaker 2: on a show. I agree, Yeah, I agree, I agree,
- 7:28Speaker 2: all right. Raw Housewives of Orange County Season nineteen, Wow,
- 7:34Speaker 2: Episode fifteen, Take it Away.
- 7:37Speaker 1: So Shannon hosts a lunch for Jen. Gretchen arrives first.
- 7:41Speaker 1: Shannon says, the girls think Gretchen acts like Tamra.
- 7:45Speaker 2: Oh I can see that. That was actually I liked
- 7:47Speaker 2: Shannon saying this.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Yeah, and if she doesn't stoop to her level, no
- 7:51Speaker 1: one will say that. Gretchen has a list of points
- 7:54Speaker 1: of reasons why she's not like Tamra.
- 7:56Speaker 2: So this looks prepared, like have you yeah, she on
- 8:00Speaker 2: this for a while, is this a yeah? Prepared?
- 8:04Speaker 1: And then when they go to her confessional, she has
- 8:06Speaker 1: it written out.
- 8:08Speaker 2: And something on the bottom on her phone.
- 8:10Speaker 1: Yeah, she says, I don't have it. These are the
- 8:12Speaker 1: reasons why she says she's not like Tamra. Meanwhile, doing
- 8:16Speaker 1: this makes worse, worse, like girl, this, she says, especially
- 8:30Speaker 1: her first one, I don't have a child, calling me
- 8:32Speaker 1: a manipulator and a liar.
- 8:34Speaker 2: Not yet, she's too little. Yeah, your day's coming, Your
- 8:38Speaker 2: day's coming. It happens to all of us. I'm not
- 8:41Speaker 2: just saying you.
- 8:42Speaker 1: I haven't been sued and lost because of my lives.
- 8:44Speaker 1: Then almost suit again for another lie. She's talking about
- 8:48Speaker 1: the Jambalino and the Ryan.
- 8:50Speaker 2: It can happen to you too. It's just not yet.
- 8:53Speaker 2: I'm telling you.
- 8:54Speaker 1: I know, quit speaking in absolute right. I didn't reach
- 8:58Speaker 1: out to Tamar's ex to try to get dirt on her.
- 9:02Speaker 1: But you know what she's saying something that I don't
- 9:07Speaker 1: think is necessarily true.
- 9:09Speaker 2: Oh you mean about the recording. Yeah, yeah, I'm not
- 9:13Speaker 2: profiting from people's pain her podcast. You are because you're
- 9:16Speaker 2: on the show, so you're getting paid to be on
- 9:18Speaker 2: the show. We all profit off each other's pain. Yeah,
- 9:21Speaker 2: sows flash, and it's part of the gig.
- 9:24Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not harming or constantly hurting my friends.
- 9:28Speaker 2: I don't know about that.
- 9:29Speaker 1: We don't know. We haven't really seen you because the
- 9:31Speaker 1: one time that you were hanging out with your friends
- 9:33Speaker 1: is when you were talking about Tamra.
- 9:35Speaker 2: Oh you mean it the sleepover?
- 9:36Speaker 1: Yeah, so I don't. I don't really know. And then
- 9:41Speaker 1: other than that, I've just been seeing her yelling a lot.
- 9:44Speaker 2: Well, she came in with something in mind, and she's
- 9:49Speaker 2: stuck to the plan. I'm not disclosing information my friends
- 9:53Speaker 2: asked me not to talk about like she did with
- 9:56Speaker 2: Shannon and her dad.
- 9:59Speaker 1: Isn't that what this the whole season is about, the
- 10:01Speaker 1: things that she's disclosed about. I mean, I hate to
- 10:05Speaker 1: keep saying about Tamra, but that's what she's doing every
- 10:08Speaker 1: single time.
- 10:09Speaker 2: I wish we could talk about something else other than Tamra.
- 10:11Speaker 2: And that's no shade, But I'm just tired of talking
- 10:15Speaker 2: about Tamra.
- 10:16Speaker 1: But it's it's exactly what she's doing. She's creating this,
- 10:21Speaker 1: she's creating all the question about Tama.
- 10:23Speaker 2: I'm telling you, like I said this a few weeks ago,
- 10:25Speaker 2: how cool would it have been if she'd come in
- 10:27Speaker 2: and had no grudge and they could have gotten along? Oh,
- 10:30Speaker 2: at least for a couple episodes and then blow out
- 10:32Speaker 2: over something present, not seventeen years ago. Correct, nobody, I
- 10:35Speaker 2: don't even remember seventeen hours ago.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Her next one is, I don't have excess coming forward
- 10:40Speaker 1: to publicly say I'm a liar and a cheater.
- 10:42Speaker 2: Well, honey, you ain't living well.
- 10:44Speaker 1: And I feel like that might also not fully be true. Yeah,
- 10:49Speaker 1: I mean her ex passed away. So the one that
- 10:53Speaker 1: she had all of the like, oh, rumors and drama
- 10:56Speaker 1: with on the show.
- 10:57Speaker 2: Well, we're gonna give him a pass because he's on Yep.
- 11:01Speaker 1: I don't call or DM bloggers and try to get
- 11:04Speaker 1: them to post horrible things about my castmates. Oh uh,
- 11:09Speaker 1: Gretcher's Gretchers, I thought you hated that. I knows you
- 11:16Speaker 1: lose me with the first one. I think it's gross.
- 11:20Speaker 1: The first one. I don't have a child calling me
- 11:22Speaker 1: a manipulator and a liar.
- 11:23Speaker 2: Not yet. I'm telling you, your daughter's young, you're going
- 11:25Speaker 2: to hear those words. All of us parents get it.
- 11:27Speaker 2: It's just a matter of time love. And that's no
- 11:30Speaker 2: shade to anybody because we all get it. As you know, parenting,
- 11:34Speaker 2: do you how do you like that? Parenting of three children?
- 11:37Speaker 1: You know it's it's non stop. Slate was mad at
- 11:42Speaker 1: me the other.
- 11:43Speaker 2: Day and she called you a manipulator or a liar.
- 11:46Speaker 1: Yet no, but she said, I you said we were
- 11:50Speaker 1: going to have a conversation about it, and I said
- 11:52Speaker 1: we did have a conversation. I just said no, and
- 11:55Speaker 1: you don't like my answer, and she slammed that door
- 11:58Speaker 1: so fast.
- 12:00Speaker 2: I hope you broke that door down.
- 12:02Speaker 1: I was like, I open the door. I go, if
- 12:05Speaker 1: you have an attitude about this one more time. This
- 12:08Speaker 1: is being taken away and it's something that's important to
- 12:10Speaker 1: her and she was like, right, yeah, And I was like, yeah,
- 12:15Speaker 1: we I realized that you're becoming a teenager and you're
- 12:18Speaker 1: about to go through the Change or whatever that movie
- 12:21Speaker 1: the First Change. Yeah, but you're going to need to
- 12:25Speaker 1: cool You're yeah, because it's hard. You know, once they
- 12:28Speaker 1: become teenagers, it's a whole different ballgame because then the
- 12:33Speaker 1: entire world revolves around their plans and what they want.
- 12:36Speaker 1: And I'm like, what she's mad at me about is
- 12:38Speaker 1: I said that she could go to a Halloween party
- 12:41Speaker 1: the night before Halloween with all her friends, but I said,
- 12:44Speaker 1: on Halloween, you're going to spend it home. With me
- 12:47Speaker 1: and like we we go to the same Halloween party
- 12:50Speaker 1: every year. Yeah, and I'm like with all the kids
- 12:53Speaker 1: everybody goes. This is what happens. You have friends there,
- 12:56Speaker 1: we have family there, like we have Yeah, that's what
- 12:58Speaker 1: we're doing. And she wanted to go to the other party.
- 13:02Speaker 2: Well, this is going to become a you know, more
- 13:05Speaker 2: increasingly thing as she grows older. But I think that,
- 13:09Speaker 2: you know, people don't know this, but Teddy, she's a
- 13:14Speaker 2: very calm parent and then she will click out on
- 13:19Speaker 2: them and be really, you don't let those kids get
- 13:24Speaker 2: away with shit. Shit. No. She' you're very nice and
- 13:30Speaker 2: then you're like, Okay, that's enough and you're very tough. Yeah,
- 13:33Speaker 2: like you you will not act like that. I've seen
- 13:37Speaker 2: it in person.
- 13:37Speaker 1: I was like, ah, yeah, we won't. We won't. We
- 13:40Speaker 1: won't be behaving this. No, you won't be talking.
- 13:43Speaker 2: You will not be talking like that.
- 13:44Speaker 1: No, no, AnyWho. Then Shannon asked everyone to go around
- 13:49Speaker 1: the table and give Jen their marriage advice.
- 13:51Speaker 2: Which I thought was kind of fun.
- 13:52Speaker 1: I mean, what do you feel about the way Shannon
- 13:55Speaker 1: was at the beginning when she was kind of flipping
- 13:57Speaker 1: out about the stemware.
- 13:59Speaker 2: Listen and I'd rather see somebody flip out about stemware
- 14:03Speaker 2: than drag each other through the mud about other shit.
- 14:06Speaker 2: Like flipping out about stemware is a housewives thing that
- 14:10Speaker 2: I welcome as opposed to hurting each other's feelings so deeply.
- 14:13Speaker 2: Does that make sense?
- 14:14Speaker 1: Yeah, I agree, you're right. You're right on that.
- 14:17Speaker 2: Remember, like in the Derete Champagne thing, Like, I'd rather
- 14:20Speaker 2: do that than all the other stuff that we've seen.
- 14:23Speaker 2: And yeah, you know, I'd rather like silly fights than
- 14:27Speaker 2: really digging deep, in digging deep and just kind of hurting. Yeah,
- 14:31Speaker 2: because she's you know, she's pretty worked up about it.
- 14:34Speaker 2: She seems very excited about the party. Jen didn't seem
- 14:39Speaker 2: that excited. And I don't know if that was being
- 14:40Speaker 2: ungrateful or just not into it or both, or.
- 14:43Speaker 1: Just or just doesn't have a date yet, and so
- 14:46Speaker 1: she feels like it's strange to have a.
- 14:50Speaker 2: Would I say, though, if somebody's going to throw you
- 14:52Speaker 2: a party, just say thanks and have a good time.
- 14:54Speaker 1: Yeah, say thanks, have a good time. Clearly they spend
- 14:57Speaker 1: a lot of money on it.
- 14:58Speaker 2: Yeah, say thank you. I wouldn't. Yeah, just be gracious.
- 15:02Speaker 1: All the time, because she knows and I remember when
- 15:06Speaker 1: she served one croissant at the beach party. These parties
- 15:09Speaker 1: are expensive, yes they are, and production is not paying
- 15:13Speaker 1: for it.
- 15:13Speaker 2: No. No, And I saw something on TikTok on it.
- 15:17Speaker 2: Maybe I shouldn't even bring this up, but I see
- 15:19Speaker 2: like these people that say that they are quote ex
- 15:21Speaker 2: showrunners and they are talking about behind the scenes things
- 15:25Speaker 2: about what Bravo pays for and shit like that. That's
- 15:28Speaker 2: not true.
- 15:29Speaker 1: It's not true. They'n's not true. There may be a
- 15:31Speaker 1: certain amount that they.
- 15:32Speaker 2: Any lot girl and it ain't shit. Yeah, it's so
- 15:37Speaker 2: get it together. Yeah, so you ain't nobody paying for
- 15:40Speaker 2: that white party.
- 15:41Speaker 1: Yeah, then I.
- 15:48Speaker 2: Are not writing those checks.
- 15:50Speaker 1: Yep, Nope, they are not doing that. But when Shannon
- 15:54Speaker 1: asked everyone to go around the table, Tamra says, your
- 15:56Speaker 1: second marriage, you know what to do, you know what
- 15:59Speaker 1: not to do.
- 15:59Speaker 2: I agree, I agree. I mean, I think if you
- 16:02Speaker 2: know your second marriage is something that you know thinking
- 16:05Speaker 2: about the first self reflection, Hey maybe I don't want
- 16:08Speaker 2: to do whatever.
- 16:10Speaker 1: Again, right, but then you can make new mistakes beyond.
- 16:14Speaker 2: Yeah, we're always going to make mistakes. I think that
- 16:17Speaker 2: marriage or humans or any type of relationship, you're always
- 16:20Speaker 2: going to make mistakes. It's just hey, I'm not going
- 16:22Speaker 2: to do that one again. Right, You're gonna have your
- 16:24Speaker 2: own unique set of problems with this marriage.
- 16:27Speaker 1: Shannon says, communication is key, obviously. Yeah, I didn't need
- 16:32Speaker 1: to know that John Janssen farted under the covers.
- 16:36Speaker 2: I don't need I don't. I don't like that.
- 16:38Speaker 1: Shit.
- 16:38Speaker 2: Do you fart in front of Edwin?
- 16:40Speaker 1: I mean, now, well.
- 16:44Speaker 2: I bet you. I bet you'd have a blowout in
- 16:47Speaker 2: front of him, just just just because how about this?
- 16:52Speaker 2: How do you feel about that?
- 16:55Speaker 1: Sorry?
- 16:55Speaker 2: I hate to be such a teenager, but.
- 16:57Speaker 1: You know, yeah, I would say there are probably times
- 17:03Speaker 1: in the sixteen years one way I've slipped out.
- 17:05Speaker 2: Yeah, but not on purpose.
- 17:06Speaker 1: Not on purpose.
- 17:07Speaker 2: Yeah, No, That's why I like having two bathrooms. Yeah,
- 17:12Speaker 2: two separate bathrooms. I go over here, you go over there.
- 17:16Speaker 2: You know, if accidents happen, that's one thing, But not
- 17:18Speaker 2: on purpose.
- 17:19Speaker 1: Yeah. But then, as Shannon's talking about communication is key,
- 17:24Speaker 1: somebody asked her, I forget, who are you talking about
- 17:27Speaker 1: with John? Are you talking about with your with David?
- 17:30Speaker 2: I think she said both, right, and then she said
- 17:32Speaker 2: both both?
- 17:32Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, both. So she considers her relationship with John
- 17:37Speaker 1: like a marriage.
- 17:39Speaker 2: Well, I mean, let's not go that far. It was
- 17:43Speaker 2: an important relationship. I don't know if it was a
- 17:45Speaker 2: quote marriage, but it definitely was enough to get upset
- 17:49Speaker 2: about and have all these problems with. So why not
- 17:52Speaker 2: you know that legal problem, That's what I'm saying. That's
- 17:55Speaker 2: a fucking marriage without having being married. So true, you know,
- 18:00Speaker 2: it's as the same as a pain in the ass
- 18:02Speaker 2: as a marriage.
- 18:02Speaker 1: Yep. Gina tells her not to lose herself and have
- 18:06Speaker 1: your person be a compliment to your life. I think
- 18:09Speaker 1: that's a really good piece of advice.
- 18:11Speaker 2: Very good. And Emily says everyone has a person, and
- 18:15Speaker 2: I agree with that.
- 18:16Speaker 1: I mean, but you could have more more than one person,
- 18:19Speaker 1: more than one.
- 18:19Speaker 2: Person in a lifetime.
- 18:20Speaker 1: I think so too. Ye. Then Gretchen says faith is
- 18:25Speaker 1: an important part in her relationship.
- 18:27Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, I'm not going to attack anyone's faith.
- 18:29Speaker 2: I I if that is true, I mean that is
- 18:31Speaker 2: true for her, That's great, I mean whatever.
- 18:34Speaker 1: Yeah, And then Heather says people will judge or make
- 18:38Speaker 1: comments about you.
- 18:39Speaker 2: Let them you have to. Yeah, she's there are all
- 18:42Speaker 2: these are like whose advice would you take most seriously?
- 18:45Speaker 2: They're all good things here. I mean, you know, nobody's
- 18:48Speaker 2: giving stupid advice.
- 18:50Speaker 1: Whose advice would you take the most seriously?
- 18:53Speaker 2: Not to lose yourself? Yeah, I think should the person
- 18:56Speaker 2: be a compliment to your life. I think that a
- 18:58Speaker 2: lot of women do that, and we do it just naturally,
- 19:01Speaker 2: were naturally built to, you know, take care of the
- 19:04Speaker 2: family and take care of the husband and kind of
- 19:05Speaker 2: put our needs or our lives second. And I think
- 19:07Speaker 2: that that's a super important one.
- 19:09Speaker 1: Yeah, I agree, Just.
- 19:10Speaker 2: To remind everybody out there too, you know, make sure
- 19:13Speaker 2: that you're you're taking care of too.
- 19:16Speaker 1: Yeah. Then we're back to the farts because then Emily
- 19:20Speaker 1: asks whether she farts in front of Terry. She says
- 19:24Speaker 1: she doesn't fart.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Well, what, Yeah, And I'm down with that answer.
- 19:27Speaker 1: You know what, it doesn't happen.
- 19:29Speaker 2: That's great.
- 19:31Speaker 1: The fact that Shannon is still finding ways to bring
- 19:35Speaker 1: up John Jansen, though, do you find that odd or no?
- 19:38Speaker 2: I think it's just conversation. I didn't have that much
- 19:40Speaker 2: value into It's her last relationship of consequence, so whatever.
- 19:46Speaker 2: I don't really you know, it's not that big video.
- 19:48Speaker 1: Yeah, it kind of, but it makes me a little
- 19:50Speaker 1: bit sad.
- 19:52Speaker 2: I didn't even take it as that. I just thought
- 19:54Speaker 2: it as like she was just laughing, and she was
- 19:56Speaker 2: just laughing about things that were, you know, in the past.
- 19:58Speaker 2: I didn't. I didn't lean that much into it.
- 20:01Speaker 1: Yep. Then the girls are going on a trip to Amsterdam.
- 20:04Speaker 1: Heather's parents lived there when she was in college. Kind
- 20:07Speaker 1: of cool.
- 20:07Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean that was kind of a cool thing.
- 20:11Speaker 2: Heather brings up her dad's ashes and doesn't know where
- 20:14Speaker 2: to put them, Okay, so and then you know, Terry
- 20:17Speaker 2: thinks about bringing it to Amsterdam where he lived. Here's
- 20:20Speaker 2: the thing. I was immediately taken back to mercy in
- 20:23Speaker 2: the purse. So I'm just going to say. I was like,
- 20:27Speaker 2: are we going to get into these ashes? And then
- 20:29Speaker 2: Heather opens up about her dad and how he was
- 20:31Speaker 2: a corporate dad and they didn't have much of a relationship,
- 20:34Speaker 2: which you know.
- 20:36Speaker 1: It's pretty common.
- 20:37Speaker 2: It's common, and it's sad. Yeah, you know, corporate dad.
- 20:43Speaker 1: I never heard that phrase.
- 20:44Speaker 2: No, but it's a good one.
- 20:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:45Speaker 2: I don't know if she made it up or not,
- 20:47Speaker 2: but it's a good one.
- 21:01Speaker 1: They're all sitting around, you know, at this Bridle not
- 21:05Speaker 1: Bridle shower and they're like, we should go on a
- 21:08Speaker 1: trip and they're like someone warm somewhere, Warm somewhere this,
- 21:11Speaker 1: and then someone's like Amsterdam.
- 21:14Speaker 2: Magically, they're in Amsterdam. I'm not going to say a
- 21:16Speaker 2: word on this. I'm contractually bound, not.
- 21:19Speaker 1: Too so, but it magic Whose trip is this?
- 21:24Speaker 2: By the way, it felt Honestly, it kind of felt
- 21:27Speaker 2: like Shannon's and then it kind of felt like Heather
- 21:29Speaker 2: had a piece of it, like I you know, I
- 21:31Speaker 2: used to go there in college, so you know, I
- 21:34Speaker 2: mean that's all I can say.
- 21:36Speaker 1: Then Tam and Eddie go to dinner. Tamar gets annoyed
- 21:39Speaker 1: with how Eddie is chewing Oh. Marriage, Yeah, that's marriage.
- 21:43Speaker 2: That's marriage.
- 21:44Speaker 1: Yep. Tamer says she thinks the problem in their marriage
- 21:47Speaker 1: is that they don't communicate and then it all explodes.
- 21:50Speaker 2: Eddie says the way she talks to him sets him. Often,
- 21:53Speaker 2: usually she's drunk and she comes at him. Yeah, I
- 21:59Speaker 2: mean I get it. He's valid, he has his point
- 22:02Speaker 2: of view.
- 22:03Speaker 1: Yeah, like I think he's saying, you know, I haven't.
- 22:06Speaker 2: Seen him show remarkable control, more so than any man
- 22:12Speaker 2: I've been married to would have. So Eddie, Yeah, I
- 22:17Speaker 2: mean I think that you've handled yourself in some situations.
- 22:20Speaker 2: I know mister Girardi would have fucking leveled me at home.
- 22:28Speaker 2: I'll tell you that.
- 22:29Speaker 1: Well. She asked if she if he thinks she has
- 22:31Speaker 1: a drinking problem, and Eddie says, for their relationship purposes,
- 22:35Speaker 1: she shouldn't drink and just come to him.
- 22:37Speaker 2: I agree. Yeah, nothing good is with alcohol. I mean,
- 22:40Speaker 2: I just it just doesn't Liquor and personal relationships like
- 22:47Speaker 2: that home just it's not good. It does not work
- 22:50Speaker 2: out well for anybody. And I'm not just saying you
- 22:52Speaker 2: so don't get offended. I just say as a full
- 22:55Speaker 2: on blanket statement, it's not.
- 22:57Speaker 1: Good when we're unhappy and we're drinking.
- 22:59Speaker 2: It's bad.
- 23:00Speaker 1: It's bad. It's bad for everybody. It's bad what you know, like.
- 23:05Speaker 2: And it just there's a limit to drinking, like there's
- 23:07Speaker 2: a limit to everything, Like one drink, two drinks, cute, three,
- 23:10Speaker 2: I start to become an asshole. Yeah, and I cannot
- 23:13Speaker 2: do that anymore, I.
- 23:14Speaker 1: Know, and then I feel like death the next day.
- 23:17Speaker 2: Yeah, it's just is anybody really drinking?
- 23:21Speaker 1: I enjoy like one or two drinks.
- 23:23Speaker 2: Yes, that's my max. I had two drinks over the
- 23:26Speaker 2: weekend and that was it because I just don't I
- 23:31Speaker 2: want to do other things. Yeah, you know, I don't
- 23:33Speaker 2: want to wake up in the morning and feel like
- 23:35Speaker 2: I feel terrible.
- 23:36Speaker 1: It's just like, oh yeah, but I think that this
- 23:40Speaker 1: conversation is a lot of couples. I think you know
- 23:43Speaker 1: that you many couples. Yeah, when you.
- 23:47Speaker 2: When alcohol gets involved, it's never It can start out
- 23:50Speaker 2: fun and it usually ends up in a in like
- 23:53Speaker 2: a bit bickering or even sometimes a snarl like I
- 23:58Speaker 2: I just don't like myself on liquor like this in
- 24:00Speaker 2: a relationship.
- 24:02Speaker 1: Yeah. Then they all go to Amsterdam.
- 24:05Speaker 2: Amazing, like all of a sudden, we arrived in Amsterdam.
- 24:08Speaker 2: How did this happen? The magic of TV.
- 24:13Speaker 1: There's no mention of no Katie really erased.
- 24:17Speaker 2: I told you you erased from the record, just like.
- 24:19Speaker 1: Whoo yeah, no mention of no Katie. They arrive in
- 24:23Speaker 1: Amsterdam and they go on a boat in the canal.
- 24:26Speaker 1: Typical the outfits.
- 24:29Speaker 2: Yeah, so what they were dressed like and I'm down
- 24:32Speaker 2: for it, But it was like the day were they
- 24:34Speaker 2: going from day to night?
- 24:35Speaker 1: Yeah, because I think they all wore the same thing
- 24:37Speaker 1: to dinner.
- 24:38Speaker 2: Yeah, but it like Emily with the cutouts during the
- 24:41Speaker 2: day bold yeah, somebody with the lace body suit with
- 24:45Speaker 2: the thong bold. I mean, I'm giving it to you guys.
- 24:48Speaker 2: Like I was like, wow, could we Wow? Somebody said
- 24:53Speaker 2: you better. We got one outfit for the entire thing.
- 24:55Speaker 2: And they said, let me put on my nightwear.
- 24:57Speaker 1: Yeah, they said let me put on my nightwhere And
- 25:00Speaker 1: somebody even said I forget, which maybe it was doing
- 25:02Speaker 1: like I think they think we're street walkers.
- 25:04Speaker 2: Good good, I mean, I love it.
- 25:08Speaker 1: Then Emily asks Shannon if she thinks Tamar was being
- 25:11Speaker 1: shady when she brought up her dad's drinking, and Shannon
- 25:14Speaker 1: thought it was a dig and she's not able to
- 25:16Speaker 1: forgive her.
- 25:17Speaker 2: I think it is a dig. I think it's better
- 25:19Speaker 2: to get over it, you know. And I know that
- 25:22Speaker 2: I said in a pod before, like you can see
- 25:27Speaker 2: you know I can say I you know things about
- 25:32Speaker 2: my dad, but you can't. So, but I think you
- 25:34Speaker 2: can get over it. I think there's you know.
- 25:37Speaker 1: Tamra says she can't apologize, but Shannon can't. Shannon brings
- 25:41Speaker 1: up being called a seaword multiple times at the dinner table,
- 25:44Speaker 1: and Tamra says, are you a sea word? How would
- 25:48Speaker 1: you have responded to Tamer's question.
- 25:50Speaker 2: No, tam I'm not. I'm right. So there you go.
- 25:53Speaker 1: I mean, you know I would have just said we
- 25:55Speaker 1: all are and moved on.
- 25:56Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 25:58Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 25:58Speaker 2: And you know, it's interesting how that word is. So
- 26:07Speaker 2: what is the word I'm looking for? It's like such
- 26:08Speaker 2: a big deal here in the States, but like if
- 26:10Speaker 2: you go to the UK, everybody's calling each other.
- 26:12Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, but whatever, I mean, they are in Amsterdam.
- 26:17Speaker 2: Close enough for me. But then again, you know.
- 26:23Speaker 1: Emily, Tamra and Jen go to a store to decorate
- 26:26Speaker 1: a penis interesting. Yeah, Emily asked Jen about her vagina.
- 26:32Speaker 1: Jin says it's healed up nicely and now it's fine
- 26:34Speaker 1: and she's good to go.
- 26:36Speaker 2: Yeah. Great, I mean I think that's wonderful. She had
- 26:39Speaker 2: her pelvic floor fixed.
- 26:41Speaker 1: Her pelvic floor fix, and then she said she had
- 26:43Speaker 1: some things cut off the front. She had all the things,
- 26:46Speaker 1: all the things, and now she's good to go back
- 26:49Speaker 1: to having good sex.
- 26:52Speaker 2: That's great. We love a rejuvenated queen. Get that badge rolling, Well,
- 27:00Speaker 2: you're about to get married. I mean you're gonna be
- 27:03Speaker 2: using it more than you probably.
- 27:05Speaker 1: Want, more than you are now, more than you.
- 27:09Speaker 2: Are now, because it's about keeping it together.
- 27:13Speaker 1: Then Heather brings up boundaries and how Jen is still
- 27:16Speaker 1: close with Alexis. Okay, so this just to give you
- 27:19Speaker 1: a little backstory. Heather bringing up how Jin is still
- 27:23Speaker 1: close with Alexis is a little bit of a thing
- 27:27Speaker 1: right now, because apparently Alexis also invited Heather to her wedding.
- 27:32Speaker 2: Yeah, but Heather declined to go.
- 27:34Speaker 1: But Heather's original response on why she declined was it's
- 27:38Speaker 1: my daughter's thing, it's my daughter has something at school.
- 27:42Speaker 2: Okay.
- 27:43Speaker 1: But then when she went on watched What Happens Live,
- 27:46Speaker 1: she said she added something else. Oh shit, Yeah, she
- 27:50Speaker 1: said I had my daughter's thing and I'm not really
- 27:54Speaker 1: that close with them as a couple.
- 27:57Speaker 2: Yeah. Okay, Well, and so it's putting herself at distance
- 28:04Speaker 2: with Alexis.
- 28:05Speaker 1: Yes, And then Jen says she got to save the
- 28:09Speaker 1: date but has not been invited.
- 28:10Speaker 2: What does that mean if you got to save the
- 28:12Speaker 2: date but then didn't get invited.
- 28:13Speaker 1: Well, I know what that means, because I just had
- 28:15Speaker 1: Alexis on the pod. So Alexis ended up disinviting Jin
- 28:20Speaker 1: because or not actually sending her an invite because she
- 28:25Speaker 1: started pulling away from her.
- 28:27Speaker 2: Okay, well, look these things happen. I mean, it's not y'all,
- 28:34Speaker 2: what did you expect? I mean really?
- 28:36Speaker 1: Yeah? But Jen, we literally see you tell Shannon you
- 28:40Speaker 1: will not go to the wedding because of her. Yeah.
- 28:43Speaker 2: I'm not going to make promises like that. Yeah, you
- 28:46Speaker 2: should go not go to the wedding because of you,
- 28:48Speaker 2: not because of someone else.
- 28:49Speaker 1: Yeah. So now are we It's just back to the
- 28:52Speaker 1: wishy washiness. Yeah, we're just back to wishy washy. Then
- 28:56Speaker 1: Emily feels Jin wasn't into her bridal lunch. Jen says,
- 28:59Speaker 1: it's not her thing.
- 29:01Speaker 2: But it's you pretend like it's your thing because someone
- 29:04Speaker 2: is going above and beyond for you pretend, you know,
- 29:08Speaker 2: if it's not your thing, you keep that to yourself.
- 29:11Speaker 2: And I'm not saying on camera, yeah you know, like
- 29:13Speaker 2: it's not gonna it's not gonna. You know, you do
- 29:16Speaker 2: realize that by you saying that it's going to become
- 29:18Speaker 2: a thing, right, Like you do realize that.
- 29:20Speaker 1: Well, then Tamar thinks Shannon through the bridal shower for
- 29:23Speaker 1: herself to get back at Tamra by being close with Jen.
- 29:27Speaker 2: Yeah, it's for the show. It's not that deep.
- 29:29Speaker 1: You think it's not that deep?
- 29:30Speaker 2: It's not that deep.
- 29:33Speaker 1: Then, Gretchen tells the girls that with Tamra, fighting fire
- 29:36Speaker 1: with fire is the best way to handle it. She
- 29:39Speaker 1: thinks Tamara only responds to strength.
- 29:43Speaker 2: She could be right. You know, what do you think?
- 29:46Speaker 2: I mean, you know, tamor will.
- 29:48Speaker 1: I don't think fighting fire with fire is the best
- 29:51Speaker 1: route with Tamra because I think she's going to keep going.
- 29:54Speaker 2: You know, yeah, she doesn't.
- 29:55Speaker 1: She'll just keep going, She'll keep going. I think the
- 29:58Speaker 1: best way for me, at least. We've only had one
- 30:01Speaker 1: argument that was like contentious, contentious, and I just kind
- 30:07Speaker 1: of had to like, even though I wanted to fix.
- 30:09Speaker 2: It right away, Yeah, I had to let it stay.
- 30:11Speaker 1: I had to let it sit there for a minute.
- 30:13Speaker 1: And then she got over it and I apologized, and
- 30:17Speaker 1: she apologized and then it was done. But it was like,
- 30:20Speaker 1: give her a second of space to let her kind
- 30:22Speaker 1: of process and not be reactive. Yeah, because that's the thing.
- 30:29Speaker 1: If you're reactive and then you're fighting somebody with fire.
- 30:33Speaker 2: Yes, I could see where that would escalate the sitution.
- 30:35Speaker 1: I would escalate. And then they go out to dinner
- 30:38Speaker 1: and Shannon ate a space cake and was high.
- 30:41Speaker 2: But we could get high here in California, Like, is
- 30:43Speaker 2: the weed that much better in Amsterdam?
- 30:58Speaker 1: Do you think Shannon was playing up that she is
- 31:00Speaker 1: more high than she actually was, Like when she was
- 31:02Speaker 1: like getting down under the table to try to find
- 31:05Speaker 1: her barette and all those kind of things.
- 31:08Speaker 2: Well, we have seen her bring pots and pans to stuff, but.
- 31:11Speaker 1: She did cook. We found out she did cook.
- 31:14Speaker 2: Okay, here's the thing. I don't eat weed for this
- 31:18Speaker 2: reason because I don't know how it's going to hit me.
- 31:20Speaker 2: So I can't really say I don't know. I don't know.
- 31:25Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know how much. What is the
- 31:28Speaker 2: space cake anyway? So gummy?
- 31:31Speaker 1: No? So apparently they had either I think they said
- 31:36Speaker 1: cookies or cupcakes.
- 31:37Speaker 2: But what's in it? Just cannabis or is it hash
- 31:41Speaker 2: or what?
- 31:41Speaker 1: What?
- 31:42Speaker 2: What is a space cake?
- 31:44Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 31:44Speaker 2: I mean, I don't want to go to space.
- 31:46Speaker 1: Something something that makes you spacey, maybe more spacey, more spacey.
- 31:52Speaker 1: But then Tamra goes under the table to get Shannon's
- 31:54Speaker 1: hair clip. They're all getting along and they make it
- 31:58Speaker 1: out of it and it makes it look like make
- 32:00Speaker 1: it out of Amsterdam alive.
- 32:02Speaker 2: Well, I think that getting high is if you're yeah,
- 32:07Speaker 2: I mean, I'm I'm agreeable when I'm not drinking. Yeah,
- 32:13Speaker 2: but what do you mean not making out of it
- 32:18Speaker 2: out of Amsterdam alive? Is it all going to blow apart?
- 32:21Speaker 2: And I wonder what I wonder what will be the
- 32:22Speaker 2: catalyst for it to all blow apart?
- 32:25Speaker 1: My guess is it's all going to blow apart. I
- 32:29Speaker 1: would guess that things are not going to stay so copathetic.
- 32:33Speaker 2: It's a cast trip, cast trips, I tell you.
- 32:37Speaker 1: Yeah, So I think we have a lot to come
- 32:41Speaker 1: when it comes to this group of ladies in Amsterdam.
- 32:45Speaker 2: Are you enjoying? Did you enjoy this episode? I think
- 32:48Speaker 2: it's a great setup for what may be coming.
- 32:50Speaker 1: I think it's a good setup for what's maybe coming.
- 32:52Speaker 1: I think it was a little bit of a filler episode.
- 32:55Speaker 2: Well you have to have those, yeah, especially you have
- 32:57Speaker 2: to have the builds, you know, you can't always have.
- 33:00Speaker 1: Yeah, but I think we're not so it's so focused
- 33:09Speaker 1: on Tamera and Gretchen.
- 33:11Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm a little over it.
- 33:13Speaker 1: I'm a little over that. Like I want more.
- 33:16Speaker 2: Of other cast members.
- 33:18Speaker 1: Yeah, I want more things.
- 33:19Speaker 2: I think you want to see more. I think if
- 33:21Speaker 2: I were to guess, and you can tell me if
- 33:22Speaker 2: I'm totally wrong. I think that you, maybe, knowing your personality,
- 33:25Speaker 2: would like to see Jen called out in her behavior
- 33:27Speaker 2: a little more.
- 33:28Speaker 1: Yeah, I thought so I would. Yeah, I think that.
- 33:31Speaker 2: You think she's wishy washy. I know where you're going.
- 33:33Speaker 1: I think she's wishy washy and it bugs me. And
- 33:35Speaker 1: then it also, you can't always be on. You can't
- 33:45Speaker 1: always play the middle.
- 33:46Speaker 2: Yep. You have to take a position.
- 33:48Speaker 1: You have to take a position. And if you're always
- 33:50Speaker 1: going to play the middle, then I think it starts,
- 33:54Speaker 1: it starts weighing on you. Well maybe, but maybe she's
- 33:57Speaker 1: not going to because I think Gen's first.
- 34:00Speaker 2: Well what happened between Well, how do you get first seat?
- 34:04Speaker 2: Be in the middle?
- 34:05Speaker 1: I know That's what I mean. So we who knows what's.
- 34:08Speaker 2: Not that you compete for first seat because it means
- 34:10Speaker 2: you had a fucking shitty time as somebody who had
- 34:13Speaker 2: the first seat. Let me let me tell you that
- 34:18Speaker 2: was like awful.
- 34:20Speaker 1: Yeah, so I mean we don't of course we don't
- 34:23Speaker 1: necessarily know what a first seat means, but a first.
- 34:25Speaker 2: Seat usually means you get mixed up in it. Yeah,
- 34:29Speaker 2: you've got a lot of explaining to do.
- 34:32Speaker 1: And so far, she hasn't no so far.
- 34:35Speaker 2: If I were to look at that, I would say,
- 34:37Speaker 2: so what, yeah, well Tamor is probably Tamar has the
- 34:41Speaker 2: other first seat on the other side, yes, well duh,
- 34:44Speaker 2: yeah seat.
- 34:46Speaker 1: So one side is Tamara, Gina head there, Katie okay,
- 34:50Speaker 1: and then the other side is Jen, Emily, Shannon, and Gretchen. Yeah.
- 34:56Speaker 1: I know it's it's a weird lineup, which leads me
- 34:59Speaker 1: to believe they they are going to be changing for us.
- 35:02Speaker 2: Well, I guess are they going to get mad? Like
- 35:05Speaker 2: what's happening here? Does somebody have a complete breakdown?
- 35:08Speaker 1: I don't know. Do you think that because Gretchen's been
- 35:11Speaker 1: involved in a lot of the drama, she should have
- 35:13Speaker 1: been more forward even though she's just a friend of.
- 35:16Speaker 2: No, I think that's where they put the friends. Yeah,
- 35:20Speaker 2: just even though she worked a lot. I think that's
- 35:23Speaker 2: just kind of how it goes. I mean, do you
- 35:25Speaker 2: think she's speculating like on a ten years I don't know.
- 35:29Speaker 2: By the way, nobody else does either, So don't don't
- 35:33Speaker 2: get cute.
- 35:34Speaker 1: We have zero idea.
- 35:36Speaker 2: Yeah, but you just kind of show up and here's
- 35:38Speaker 2: your spot and you.
- 35:39Speaker 1: Go Really, but would you say Gretchen is willing a lot,
- 35:42Speaker 1: or would you say this is who Gretchen is.
- 35:45Speaker 2: Ah? Both. I think that Gretchen is working a lot.
- 35:49Speaker 2: I think Gretchen has worked really hard as a friend
- 35:51Speaker 2: and and came in with a clear agenda. I mean
- 35:56Speaker 2: these notes as to how she's different, and then the
- 35:59Speaker 2: referring back to the twenty seventeen like you know, they
- 36:02Speaker 2: talk about doing your homework. She came in prepared, which
- 36:07Speaker 2: is annoying.
- 36:07Speaker 1: Which is annoying.
- 36:09Speaker 2: And I've consistently said that I would have liked it
- 36:12Speaker 2: had Gretchen stayed in the present moment.
- 36:16Speaker 1: Because I would say, this makes it like I don't
- 36:18Speaker 1: even know Gretchen.
- 36:20Speaker 2: Like, well, I don't know the present day Gretchen. Yeah,
- 36:22Speaker 2: like I know the Gretchen that's like beefing out over
- 36:26Speaker 2: fifteen years ago of beef.
- 36:27Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what I mean, Like we haven't gotten to
- 36:30Speaker 1: know her what she's like.
- 36:31Speaker 2: But she's right right now, what she's up to right.
- 36:34Speaker 1: Now, because that everything has been.
- 36:36Speaker 2: About the past, and I just think that that's a
- 36:39Speaker 2: real wasted opportunity, especially if she wanted to go forward
- 36:41Speaker 2: on the show. You know, it's okay to have like
- 36:45Speaker 2: you know, you need both you need, Hey, this is
- 36:48Speaker 2: who I am. Hey, this is my past, but this
- 36:50Speaker 2: is how I see myself going forward. Just to constantly
- 36:53Speaker 2: point backwards is a one trick pony in my opinion.
- 36:56Speaker 1: And it gets old.
- 36:57Speaker 2: It gets old. And if you want to stay on
- 36:59Speaker 2: and you you have to grow and evolve. Yeah, and
- 37:03Speaker 2: even if that means you're not you know, in the
- 37:08Speaker 2: forefront all the time at least shows some growth or
- 37:11Speaker 2: some some ways forward, which I think was a real
- 37:14Speaker 2: missed opportunity on Gretch's part.
- 37:16Speaker 1: Do you think Gretchen is doing it on her own
- 37:18Speaker 1: or because she's been coached by slave?
- 37:20Speaker 2: Oh? No, this is a two person situation, and I
- 37:24Speaker 2: think it's an old I think as the Housewives evolved,
- 37:29Speaker 2: just like however many seasons it's been on, it feels
- 37:33Speaker 2: very old school Housewives playbook. You can point towards the past,
- 37:37Speaker 2: but it can't be your whole thing. You can say, hey,
- 37:40Speaker 2: I feel this way because of X, Y and Z
- 37:42Speaker 2: in the past. However I'm putting my best foot forward
- 37:44Speaker 2: or whatever. I think that the key to remaining interesting
- 37:50Speaker 2: and is evolving, even if your softer side or more
- 37:53Speaker 2: vulnerable side, you don't always have to be on it. Yeah,
- 37:57Speaker 2: on it one hundred percent of the time. But then
- 38:01Speaker 2: but it's also only you didn't do anything. Well, yeah
- 38:04Speaker 2: I did. I was growing, Yeah I did. I was
- 38:07Speaker 2: letting things go. Yeah I did. I was looking at
- 38:09Speaker 2: things differently. But then again, you can just always played
- 38:13Speaker 2: at the cheap seats, which a lot of people do.
- 38:16Speaker 2: And I have a list. I got a list, and
- 38:24Speaker 2: I'm fucking good at this list.
- 38:25Speaker 1: It's listed out.
- 38:26Speaker 2: I will never I know, but you and I probably
- 38:30Speaker 2: share a lot of the same.
- 38:31Speaker 1: Yeah, we've probably shared the lot of the same. Yeah,
- 38:34Speaker 1: it's just enter dialogue. Yeah. Thanks guys for tuning in
- 38:39Speaker 1: to another episode of Diamonds in the Rough. We are back.
- 38:42Speaker 1: Do we have two or three more episodes left?
- 38:44Speaker 2: I don't know. We have two, I think, and then
- 38:47Speaker 2: we have.
- 38:48Speaker 1: Reunion Union, which I would guess it's a three partner.
- 38:50Speaker 2: I'm sure. Yeah, I'm sure. Yeah, I'm excited listen. Once again,
- 38:55Speaker 2: I've enjoyed doing this show with you. I'm excited to
- 38:57Speaker 2: see the next episode and the one after that, so
- 39:01Speaker 2: we'll see, we'll see what happens, all right, guys, thank
- 39:03Speaker 2: you so much for tuning in, and like I don't know,
- 39:06Speaker 2: it's good to see you Ted, good to see you too,
- 39:08Speaker 2: Thank you, Bye bye.
