- 2:41Speaker 2: heads up the rest of the week. Of course, Jake
- 2:44Speaker 2: is out of town for the remainder because he is
- 2:47Speaker 2: doing He's like, like, I don't envy his job. He's
- 2:49Speaker 2: got to cover the draft starting today through the weekend.
- 2:55Speaker 2: Can you imagine having to be on and covering the
- 2:58Speaker 2: draft all day on that last day? No, Like, my gosh,
- 3:01Speaker 2: you gotta be a sick o to be like talking
- 3:03Speaker 2: in the sixth seventh round about every draft pick that.
- 3:06Speaker 3: But you also got to be a sicko to be
- 3:07Speaker 3: listening to that.
- 3:08Speaker 2: Yep, I was. I was, actually so yesterday I did
- 3:13Speaker 2: the celebrity shootout at the Zurich Open, Yeah, and it
- 3:17Speaker 2: was fantastic, had a great time. The second time I've
- 3:19Speaker 2: done that. I played in the Pro Am Monday, which
- 3:21Speaker 2: was awesome, and then yesterday was a uh was they
- 3:26Speaker 2: called the celebrity shootout? I would say mostly celebrities and
- 3:30Speaker 2: then like like a washed up quarterback as well on
- 3:34Speaker 2: top of it. So Chris Berman, Marshall Falk, Tyler Shuck, Yeah,
- 3:42Speaker 2: who else was it? Who else was it? Pete Werner
- 3:44Speaker 2: and Justin Reid from the Saints.
- 3:47Speaker 3: That was your team?
- 3:48Speaker 2: No, no, so there's six total and there's three two
- 3:50Speaker 2: man teams. I was actually teamed up with Chris Berman.
- 3:53Speaker 3: Nice.
- 3:54Speaker 2: Let's see, I think Marshall Falk and Tyler Shuck were
- 3:56Speaker 2: together the Pete Warner and yeah, so Tyler and Marshall
- 4:01Speaker 2: Fuck won and there was I was actually kind of shocked.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Everybody was a really good golfer. Now Marshall Fuck, let
- 4:09Speaker 2: me tell you that guy. I could play plays golf
- 4:11Speaker 2: ball really like real good, like good game like good good.
- 4:15Speaker 2: I was very impressed. You never know, like former athletes
- 4:18Speaker 2: I've seen, I've seen football players pick up the sport,
- 4:22Speaker 2: and a lot of football players don't pick up golf
- 4:24Speaker 2: to like their adults, and most people pick up as
- 4:26Speaker 2: an adult don't get like real good like it's it's
- 4:28Speaker 2: something that you kind of got to be do as
- 4:31Speaker 2: a kid. It's kind of an unnatural moment, right, But
- 4:34Speaker 2: they're really good. He was fantastic nice. We got a
- 4:40Speaker 2: hope that his golf game goes down a little bit now,
- 4:44Speaker 2: but we'll see. We'll see, of course, head coach for
- 4:48Speaker 2: your Southern Jaguas. But it was a great time.
- 4:52Speaker 1: I was.
- 4:52Speaker 2: It was awesome being with Chris Burman.
- 4:53Speaker 3: Yeah, I was gonna ask that was awesome.
- 4:56Speaker 2: YEA, such a nice such a nice man.
- 4:58Speaker 3: He just seems like somebody that I would love to
- 5:00Speaker 3: hang out.
- 5:01Speaker 2: Such a nice man. We exchange numbers. Hey, you got
- 5:03Speaker 2: to send me that picture. I'll send it to Booger.
- 5:05Speaker 2: I was like, all right, like awesome, dude, that's fantastic,
- 5:09Speaker 2: And uh, it was great. We came here. It was
- 5:11Speaker 2: bog It tied for second place.
- 5:13Speaker 3: Nice.
- 5:15Speaker 2: It was good and it was all for charity.
- 5:17Speaker 3: Yeah oh yeah.
- 5:18Speaker 2: So we went out there. They raised a lot of
- 5:19Speaker 2: money for it, and it's just a cool event that
- 5:21Speaker 2: they do and actually kind of brings us to the
- 5:24Speaker 2: next point that we I was able to play for charity.
- 5:28Speaker 2: Each of us got to play for five thousand dollars
- 5:29Speaker 2: for charity. Nice And I told Joe yesterday I'm going
- 5:32Speaker 2: to split that between the Dreams Come True Foundation because
- 5:35Speaker 2: we're doing the radios on here and have to Hester's
- 5:37Speaker 2: Foundation as well because they're doing their for their for
- 5:40Speaker 2: their great calls as well. So I know we talked
- 5:43Speaker 2: about this yesterday. I mean it's not general. I mean
- 5:46Speaker 2: all I did was go play golf, right, but it was.
- 5:48Speaker 2: It was an awesome opportunity, an awesome chance.
- 5:50Speaker 4: To like, but we appreciate you choosing Dreams Come True
- 5:53Speaker 4: as one of the charities that you are going to donate.
- 5:56Speaker 2: Of course here at one of four five ESPN are
- 5:59Speaker 2: of course do it in the radio on and we
- 6:01Speaker 2: talked about it a lot yesterday and like humbly, I
- 6:06Speaker 2: think we all can get together and thank our listeners
- 6:09Speaker 2: yesterday for all the y'all brought it yesterday, y'all broke
- 6:14Speaker 2: a record.
- 6:15Speaker 3: Like Michelle called me yesterday. Michelle Southern for EGO ninety
- 6:18Speaker 3: eight point one.
- 6:19Speaker 4: She's also our operations director or yeah, operations director. She
- 6:23Speaker 4: called me yesterday and she was like, what did you
- 6:27Speaker 4: say on the radio this morning? Which my heart dropped
- 6:30Speaker 4: when she said that, because I can say literally anything
- 6:33Speaker 4: at any given moment. I don't have control over my mouth.
- 6:36Speaker 4: And I was like, oh my god. She was like,
- 6:39Speaker 4: what did you say about dreams Come True? And I
- 6:41Speaker 4: was like, why what happened? And right before we did
- 6:43Speaker 4: the segment, like seriously, shout out to our listeners and
- 6:46Speaker 4: I need y'all to like show up again. She right
- 6:49Speaker 4: before the segment, she sent an email. She was like,
- 6:52Speaker 4: we only have fifty dollars in donations.
- 6:54Speaker 3: Yep, we check.
- 6:56Speaker 4: After the segment, shout out to every single one of
- 6:59Speaker 4: you that don't because we got to thirteen hundred dollars.
- 7:05Speaker 4: We got to one thousand, three hundred and fifty dollars,
- 7:07Speaker 4: when right before she told us that we only had
- 7:10Speaker 4: fifty dollars in donation, So shout out to all of
- 7:12Speaker 4: our listeners.
- 7:13Speaker 2: So that did trigger a what'd we call it?
- 7:15Speaker 4: A so shout out to our purple sponsors because they
- 7:19Speaker 4: matched each of them match that thousand dollars donation. So
- 7:23Speaker 4: Chad's Collision, super of Baton, Rouge, Lewis Mechanical, Patient Plus
- 7:28Speaker 4: and River Parish Contractors are each gonna match that thousand
- 7:31Speaker 4: dollars that we hit.
- 7:33Speaker 2: Awesome, awesome, So so well we're doing today. We want
- 7:36Speaker 2: to talk about it again because there is another level
- 7:39Speaker 2: of sponsors.
- 7:40Speaker 4: For this, right, so if we get to two thousand,
- 7:43Speaker 4: then First American Bank and Trust and Boudro's Electrical will
- 7:46Speaker 4: each match that two thousand as well. So we want
- 7:48Speaker 4: to challenge all of you because then Michelle started like
- 7:52Speaker 4: talking ish on the phone. She was like, I you
- 7:55Speaker 4: know my listeners, they also always show up and show out,
- 7:59Speaker 4: Like I know you're out here breaking records, but like
- 8:01Speaker 4: at toward the end, I think that eagle and I'm like, no, no, no,
- 8:05Speaker 4: espn ore OTB listeners are going to do us a
- 8:09Speaker 4: solid and we're going to raise a bunch of money
- 8:11Speaker 4: for this. And also if you donate, you're inter to
- 8:15Speaker 4: win an awesome prize pack, a couple of jazz Fest
- 8:19Speaker 4: tickets for next weekend, a couple post malone tickets, a
- 8:23Speaker 4: jersey signed by Jake, a jersey signed by you, and
- 8:25Speaker 4: a bunch of raising cane swags. So not only are
- 8:29Speaker 4: you doing something really good for an amazing charity that
- 8:33Speaker 4: is here and helps local children like it stays here
- 8:36Speaker 4: in Louisiana, you're also entered to win a pretty sick
- 8:40Speaker 4: prize pack. I think you came up with something too.
- 8:42Speaker 2: And let me tell you something. Eagle Listeners, they don't
- 8:46Speaker 2: know how to compete. No, we're ESPN right, we're this,
- 8:50Speaker 2: We compete daily. So it's a little competition. We can't
- 8:54Speaker 2: let Eagle Listeners but us you know what I'm saying,
- 8:58Speaker 2: No we can't. We can't let that happen. So what
- 9:01Speaker 2: we get, what we want to do, what we're challenging
- 9:03Speaker 2: everybody to do. And look, this is dreams come true
- 9:05Speaker 2: of Louisiana, making child's dreams come true that have some
- 9:10Speaker 2: life altering or life threatening situation happening like and they
- 9:14Speaker 2: do incredibly. It's Kelly on last Week, Yes, last Scow
- 9:18Speaker 2: talking about how it changed their lives, and it's you know,
- 9:20Speaker 2: it's everything that it's on top, like you see the
- 9:23Speaker 2: dreams that they may come true, whether it's take a
- 9:25Speaker 2: child that has some some awful disease they've been diagnosed with,
- 9:29Speaker 2: they take them to Disney or whatever it is. But
- 9:31Speaker 2: it's even on top of that, it's a support that
- 9:33Speaker 2: they give the family as a as a support, a
- 9:36Speaker 2: shoulder to lean on, and people to talk to and
- 9:39Speaker 2: just a way to get that support. So we want
- 9:43Speaker 2: to challenge all that we do. We if we get
- 9:45Speaker 2: this thing to two thousand, we have another set of
- 9:48Speaker 2: sponsors that will each match two thousand dollars. Like I said,
- 9:53Speaker 2: a half of so twenty five hundred from what I
- 9:56Speaker 2: did yesterday is going to be going as well to
- 9:59Speaker 2: the dreams I'm true this radio thon that we're doing here.
- 10:02Speaker 2: So I encourage you all to go to one of
- 10:04Speaker 2: four five ESPN. Yeah, and you can find the link
- 10:08Speaker 2: right there.
- 10:09Speaker 4: It's the first thing on the front page of the
- 10:11Speaker 4: website is Dreams Come True. So just click on that
- 10:14Speaker 4: and it'll take you to a page where you can donate.
- 10:16Speaker 4: I don't know what the record in terms of like
- 10:18Speaker 4: the totality of how much we've donated to Dreams Come
- 10:21Speaker 4: True in the past, but I kind of want to
- 10:22Speaker 4: figure it out because I want us.
- 10:25Speaker 3: To break that record.
- 10:26Speaker 2: Yep. Well, yeah, of course we're competitors.
- 10:29Speaker 4: Look, I'm not saying I kind of think somebody needs
- 10:32Speaker 4: to take one for the team. Yep, because Michelle also
- 10:36Speaker 4: told me that an EGO listener last year donated nine
- 10:39Speaker 4: hundred and eighty one dollars, like equal ninety eight point
- 10:42Speaker 4: one nine hundred and eighty one dollars. I think somebody
- 10:46Speaker 4: needs to take one for the team and donate one
- 10:49Speaker 4: thousand dollars and forty five cents.
- 10:51Speaker 2: Oh yeah, all right, we're asking a lot there, asking
- 10:55Speaker 2: a lot.
- 10:56Speaker 3: I'm just saying, well, look, you write it off.
- 10:59Speaker 2: It doesn't matter what the size is, honestly doesn't matter.
- 11:03Speaker 2: It really doesn't sound sweet though, right, And I know
- 11:08Speaker 2: some some people in the chat yesterday we're talking about
- 11:12Speaker 2: because we have to giveaway with jazz Fest tickets, posty tickets,
- 11:16Speaker 2: the jersey signed by Jake, one one by Jake, so
- 11:19Speaker 2: it's two separate jersey that's one, so you get a fifteen,
- 11:23Speaker 2: you get an eighteen. Some people are talking about how
- 11:26Speaker 2: do we just get those jerseys? Not that like we're old,
- 11:29Speaker 2: like where we get it? Where has beens? But like, look,
- 11:31Speaker 2: there was a there was a time. There's a time
- 11:33Speaker 2: and a place, right, So for two hundred and fifty bucks, Well,
- 11:37Speaker 2: if you donate two hundred and fifty bucks, you'll get
- 11:39Speaker 2: a sign jersey by Jake and I.
- 11:41Speaker 3: Oh yeah, so I love that alight.
- 11:43Speaker 2: So we'll well, however, when those when the dust settles
- 11:46Speaker 2: on this, yeah, it's you know, two undred fifty bucks
- 11:49Speaker 2: donation for it. Jake and I will order the jerseys,
- 11:53Speaker 2: get them shipped in, sign them and we'll ship those
- 11:56Speaker 2: things out. We'll get in touch with these So let's
- 11:57Speaker 2: go there we go.
- 12:00Speaker 3: That's how kids dreams come true.
- 12:02Speaker 2: I think these dreams come true. And if you want
- 12:05Speaker 2: to check out the if you want to see about
- 12:08Speaker 2: the just learned a little bit more about it. We've
- 12:10Speaker 2: all heard of it. We know it is d ct
- 12:13Speaker 2: of l a dot com. Just kind of go see
- 12:17Speaker 2: where your donations are going to go to go see
- 12:19Speaker 2: those good the good deeds and and what they do
- 12:22Speaker 2: here in Louisiana. So go check that out. And then
- 12:24Speaker 2: to kind of give you a little update on the
- 12:26Speaker 2: rest of the week as well, I'm going to be
- 12:28Speaker 2: out Friday, headed to headed to Daga talid Valladega with
- 12:34Speaker 2: the Green Bay Brothers. Well it's going to be you know,
- 12:38Speaker 2: we all know. It's the guys that you know, you've
- 12:40Speaker 2: you went to battle with. Yeah, not just on the field,
- 12:43Speaker 2: but at the bars with you know you you hung
- 12:46Speaker 2: out and then you get together forty plus years old.
- 12:51Speaker 3: Just cut off.
- 12:51Speaker 2: You got that inkling in your eye, like I think
- 12:55Speaker 2: we got to get crazy like we used to. Like
- 12:57Speaker 2: probably can't handle it like we used to. You can't,
- 13:00Speaker 2: We'll see you can't.
- 13:01Speaker 3: Just take a bunch of my highs.
- 13:02Speaker 2: That's a good point. Take a bunch of them.
- 13:04Speaker 3: That's exciting though, That's gonna be fun.
- 13:08Speaker 2: That's right. Thursday show tomorrow, we will be at l
- 13:12Speaker 2: s U, the l s U Parade grounds for another
- 13:15Speaker 2: fantastic cause we I think all the shows tomorrow are
- 13:20Speaker 2: going to be live from from l s U. Correct,
- 13:23Speaker 2: and so we are going to be asking people to
- 13:29Speaker 2: come and come to l s U and get swapped
- 13:33Speaker 2: like a little Yes, there's a girl named Kate and
- 13:37Speaker 2: she has a condition. Then she needs bone marrow transplant.
- 13:42Speaker 2: And bone mara is not like blood. It's not like
- 13:45Speaker 2: a specific type like you have to. It has to
- 13:47Speaker 2: be the very it's a very rare situation to find
- 13:49Speaker 2: a blood marrow match. And they've been doing this for
- 13:52Speaker 2: a little while now, gone to different locations. They've had
- 13:55Speaker 2: different events to try to find a match to help
- 13:57Speaker 2: save her life, and they have not been able to
- 14:00Speaker 2: do it. So what we're doing, but the more swabs
- 14:02Speaker 2: the better. So if you're able, if you're willing, if
- 14:05Speaker 2: this is something that speaks to you, we're obviously for
- 14:08Speaker 2: one of four or five ESPN it speaks to us
- 14:10Speaker 2: because every show is going to be there tomorrow. We're
- 14:13Speaker 2: just going to be raising awareness and.
- 14:16Speaker 3: Like, look, we'll have some swag out there too.
- 14:18Speaker 2: We're gonna have some swag.
- 14:19Speaker 4: Yeah, you know free Stiff always gives people out. I've
- 14:22Speaker 4: got some free if if it's free, it's me. I've
- 14:26Speaker 4: got some sick Camo ESPN hats that we're going to
- 14:28Speaker 4: be given out.
- 14:30Speaker 2: But yeah, yeah, it's it's gonna be a great event,
- 14:33Speaker 2: and like, look, how cool would it be to find
- 14:35Speaker 2: a match?
- 14:36Speaker 3: It's it hadn't I so badly want her to find
- 14:39Speaker 3: a match here.
- 14:43Speaker 2: It's a huge event and it's again they've been at
- 14:46Speaker 2: different places, different cities trying to They've.
- 14:48Speaker 4: Been at Mississippi State, they've been out Ole miss They've
- 14:51Speaker 4: been several different they have thousands of people that have
- 14:55Speaker 4: come to get swabbed, right, and she has not found
- 14:59Speaker 4: a match yet. Now I will say that like when
- 15:01Speaker 4: you get swabbed, it's not just for Kate. You're added
- 15:03Speaker 4: to the registry, so you could find like you could
- 15:07Speaker 4: be somebody else's match, and you could save somebody else's
- 15:09Speaker 4: life if even if it's not Kate's, you know what
- 15:12Speaker 4: I mean. I mean, God willing we find a match
- 15:14Speaker 4: for her at some point, but you get added to
- 15:18Speaker 4: the registry. It's suggested between eighteen and thirty five, because
- 15:23Speaker 4: that's how that makes her odds better. If you're between
- 15:27Speaker 4: the ages of eighteen and thirty five. Obviously we're not
- 15:30Speaker 4: going to turn you away if you're not in that
- 15:32Speaker 4: age range. But if you can't make it out, or
- 15:35Speaker 4: you're not in that age range and you still want
- 15:37Speaker 4: to be added to the registry, or you still want
- 15:39Speaker 4: to see if you're a match for Kate, you can
- 15:41Speaker 4: go to ESPN's website and click on the flipper that
- 15:44Speaker 4: has Team Kate on it, and you can register and
- 15:50Speaker 4: they'll send you a free swab kit in the mail,
- 15:53Speaker 4: and they'll also give you return postage as well so
- 15:55Speaker 4: that you can send it back and then you'll be
- 15:56Speaker 4: added to the registry.
- 15:58Speaker 3: So come on out, I'll get swag. I'll get swabed.
- 16:02Speaker 2: To get some swag and check us out.
- 16:05Speaker 3: Everyone's gonna be out there an excuse to go.
- 16:07Speaker 2: To l s U check out the campus, just randomly
- 16:09Speaker 2: on a Thursday morning, so and and we'll be out
- 16:12Speaker 2: there all week or all day all day so from
- 16:14Speaker 2: our show through Matt show in the afternoon.
- 16:17Speaker 3: So if you want to come hang.
- 16:18Speaker 2: Oh guess what. Guess he's gonna be sitting with me tomorrow.
- 16:22Speaker 2: Because I told y'all, I said, if I got to
- 16:24Speaker 2: do the show alone remote, I'm just gonna quit. I
- 16:27Speaker 2: can't do it. Nobody wants to hear me talk by
- 16:29Speaker 2: myself in my for three hours. Well, I couldn't do it.
- 16:33Speaker 3: It would just be I'd stream of consciousness.
- 16:35Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 16:37Speaker 2: Watch watch Sports Center last night. I couldn't tell you
- 16:41Speaker 2: what happened on it, but watched it. That'd be That'd
- 16:43Speaker 2: be about it. Chris Marler, it's going to join me.
- 16:46Speaker 2: He's gonna be sitting with me tomorrow. So the man,
- 16:49Speaker 2: the myth, the legend that sits in and does all
- 16:51Speaker 2: the uh in control of our social media here one

- 17:21Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 17:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 17:23Speaker 2: I texted him about it yesterday. He seemed like shocked.
- 17:25Speaker 2: He's like, what met?
- 17:26Speaker 3: Well, yeah, he's fired up. I actually think it's gonna
- 17:30Speaker 3: be good.
- 17:30Speaker 2: I don't think he's gonna be that fired up when
- 17:32Speaker 2: it's like five point thirty in the alarms going off.
- 17:37Speaker 2: He doesn't seem like an early riser.
- 17:39Speaker 3: Oh he's not.
- 17:40Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:41Speaker 4: He texted me yesterday and he was like, are we
- 17:44Speaker 4: gonna be Morning show coworkers for a day? And I
- 17:48Speaker 4: never texted him back because I was in that pilates class.
- 17:50Speaker 4: And then he texted me like two hours later and.
- 17:52Speaker 3: He was like Okay. I was like, bro, he's very offendite.
- 17:59Speaker 2: Were so?
- 18:00Speaker 4: Did he like the most offended. And I swear like
- 18:02Speaker 4: if he's listening right now, he's about to text me.
- 18:04Speaker 4: But like I was, like I was, I pulled the card.
- 18:09Speaker 3: I was like, oh my bad.
- 18:11Speaker 4: I was in a pilates class, Like, god forbid, I

- 18:15Speaker 4: heart attack.
- 18:20Speaker 2: In conversation, yeah, okay, I'll see aboutself out.
- 18:23Speaker 3: One thing about me.
- 18:24Speaker 4: I'm gonna take it too far, no doubt about it.
- 18:27Speaker 4: But I actually and I said, I told him, I said,
- 18:29Speaker 4: I actually think this is gonna go well. And he
- 18:31Speaker 4: was like, you could have let that actually out of there.
- 18:33Speaker 4: I was like, who nitpicks compliments? Right, just take it,
- 18:36Speaker 4: take the compliment. I said, this is actually gonna go.
- 18:39Speaker 3: Well, take it for what it is.
- 18:42Speaker 2: Who else gets compliments? Katz? Why because they're the best

- 22:13Speaker 2: next level group dot com, you know it might be
- 22:22Speaker 2: needing a job. Dana Rassini, did y'all hear about what happened?
- 22:28Speaker 3: What happened? Didn't she save that guy from a car
- 22:30Speaker 3: wreck or something?
- 22:31Speaker 2: She did save that guy from a car wreck, but
- 22:33Speaker 2: like briefly before that, she did some other stuff with
- 22:37Speaker 2: another guy. It happens to be the head coach of
- 22:41Speaker 2: the New England Patriots. They weren'ted a private bungalow together
- 22:47Speaker 2: and apparently was it it's a it was an investigative
- 22:50Speaker 2: person like it was hired potential allegedly, yes, allegedly. The
- 22:56Speaker 2: te hot goss.
- 22:58Speaker 4: The hot goss on the street is that Russini's husband
- 23:02Speaker 4: hired a private investigator because there's also like a picture
- 23:07Speaker 4: of them at a bar.
- 23:08Speaker 3: Have you seen that one?
- 23:08Speaker 2: I haven't seen that one, and it looks.
- 23:10Speaker 3: Like it's like a hitting camera flirtatious. Oh, they're like
- 23:15Speaker 3: standing out at the bar together.
- 23:18Speaker 2: She's just getting the scoop. Yeah, just a little scoop.
- 23:24Speaker 2: Well now that off season has started. Yeah, of course
- 23:28Speaker 2: he is the head coach for the New England Patriots.
- 23:30Speaker 2: We've talked about it, like he's probably his job's probably
- 23:33Speaker 2: pretty safe, Oh, Robert Kraft, he's at his run. Ends
- 23:38Speaker 2: a little missoilish parlor situation happening, so he's got like
- 23:42Speaker 2: no room to talk a little bit. They've had their
- 23:45Speaker 2: issues over there. I think they like look the other
- 23:47Speaker 2: way a little bit. And he's a really good head coach.
- 23:50Speaker 2: That would be so unfortunate if this situation would carry
- 23:54Speaker 2: over and spill over and like make him lose his job,
- 23:56Speaker 2: because I'm sure at some places it would. We see
- 23:59Speaker 2: it happen in college sports all the time. When these
- 24:01Speaker 2: types of things happen, a head football coach loses his job.
- 24:06Speaker 2: It would be a shame because I think rabil is
- 24:08Speaker 2: A is a really good football head coach. Obviously, if
- 24:13Speaker 2: the alleged transgressions happened off the field. We're not gonna
- 24:17Speaker 2: look up or respect that portion. But he had to
- 24:20Speaker 2: get in front of the microphone yesterday and of course
- 24:22Speaker 2: address everything and certainly sounded like a guilty man.
- 24:28Speaker 3: I told you during the break it was giving Bill Clinton.
- 24:32Speaker 2: Yeah, so he like, I mean, he had to say,
- 24:35Speaker 2: he had to say the things, okay, and I'll read
- 24:38Speaker 2: you a little bit of what he did have to say.
- 24:41Speaker 2: He said, I've had some difficult conversations with people I
- 24:44Speaker 2: care about, my family, the organization, the coaches, the players.
- 24:48Speaker 2: Those have been positive and productive. We believe in order
- 24:52Speaker 2: to be successful on and off the field, you have
- 24:55Speaker 2: to make good decision that includes me and that starts
- 24:58Speaker 2: with me. So we've had to He's had to have
- 25:01Speaker 2: some difficult conversations with his family. I was I was
- 25:07Speaker 2: reading this and I was like, I don't think you
- 25:08Speaker 2: did Russini any favors this situation, because she put her
- 25:13Speaker 2: foot in the ground and said I'm going to quit
- 25:15Speaker 2: the athletic because they are saying they are wrong. This
- 25:19Speaker 2: is this is false narrative. There's no truth behind this. Yeah,
- 25:23Speaker 2: I get it looks bad. I was just there to
- 25:26Speaker 2: get the scoop though, I just got I got relationships.
- 25:29Speaker 2: I got that kind of relationship with a lot of
- 25:30Speaker 2: different people, but you mightn't know. But yeah, but Mike
- 25:39Speaker 2: basically said, yeah, I hit it.
- 25:43Speaker 3: Mike was like, I did that.
- 25:45Speaker 2: Yeah, we did that. I've had to have these conversations.
- 25:47Speaker 2: They're not difficult unless you did the thing. So he's
- 25:52Speaker 2: had to have these difficult conversations. But it certainly sounds
- 25:55Speaker 2: like he will continue to be the head coach unless
- 25:58Speaker 2: like some other stuff was going out.
- 25:59Speaker 4: I mean, I don't know, so did you remember like
- 26:03Speaker 4: whenever the story first came out, him and Russini both
- 26:07Speaker 4: came out with statements denying the allegations, and mil Rabel
- 26:14Speaker 4: called them laughable.
- 26:15Speaker 3: He was like, oh, the pictures are laughable, this situated whatever.
- 26:19Speaker 4: So a reporter actually asked him if he still thought
- 26:23Speaker 4: that the implication of the photos was laughable, and he
- 26:27Speaker 4: totally like sideswipe or side stuff the question, Like he
- 26:30Speaker 4: was like, I appreciate the question, but we're going to
- 26:33Speaker 4: focus on the football team right now.
- 26:37Speaker 2: So and he's got an obligation to speak to the media,
- 26:43Speaker 2: of course, and they started and like he's not going
- 26:45Speaker 2: to let his players have to answer these questions before him.
- 26:49Speaker 2: So it's one of those things, man, you just have
- 26:52Speaker 2: to got to take your medicine.
- 26:53Speaker 3: I mean, he kind of just like hid until yesterday.
- 26:58Speaker 4: But Diana was out here just first of all, her
- 27:00Speaker 4: PR team was working overtime with that wreck, saving lives.
- 27:04Speaker 4: She's never like she's a lifesaver, she's a good Samaritan.
- 27:07Speaker 4: And then she like quit the athletic posted about it
- 27:11Speaker 4: and then tried to, like the day after the story broke,
- 27:14Speaker 4: tried to tweet something like breaking something or like a
- 27:20Speaker 4: report of some sort, and everybody was like, bro come on, God,
- 27:23Speaker 4: like what are you trying to do here? And then
- 27:25Speaker 4: so she was like kind of taking it on the chin,
- 27:27Speaker 4: no pun intended. And he's like just kind of hiding
- 27:31Speaker 4: until yesterday.
- 27:33Speaker 2: What do you mean, no pun intended.
- 27:34Speaker 3: It's just taking it on the you know.
- 27:40Speaker 2: Not a great look. No, not a great look for her.
- 27:42Speaker 2: Like for him, he did what he had to do.
- 27:43Speaker 2: He's going to keep his job, you would assume, unless
- 27:46Speaker 2: like there's some other stuff that starts coming out, He's
- 27:50Speaker 2: gonna be fine. I think so she had to, you know,
- 27:56Speaker 2: which I mean you could I don't think that's a
- 27:58Speaker 2: double standard. I think it's just make a more safe job.
- 28:01Speaker 4: I think, well, first, I don't think it's a double standard.
- 28:03Speaker 4: I think she put herself out there more than Mike
- 28:06Speaker 4: Rabel did. Right, Like she was resigning, she was putting
- 28:09Speaker 4: out statements. Mike Rabel just be quiet mm hmm, like
- 28:13Speaker 4: he stayed silent until he had to go up in
- 28:15Speaker 4: front of the press. So she kind of like put
- 28:17Speaker 4: herself in the line of fire. Not to like victim
- 28:20Speaker 4: blame her. I don't even know she's a victim, but
- 28:22Speaker 4: like not to like blame her. I don't think it's
- 28:24Speaker 4: a double standard because I think she did it to herself.
- 28:28Speaker 3: Thoughts Cassie, Yeah, who.
- 28:30Speaker 2: Side are you on? I don't know if there's sides
- 28:33Speaker 2: to take here.
- 28:34Speaker 3: I'm on the side of the people.
- 28:36Speaker 2: The people. Hey, if you're married, don't do anything stupid.
- 28:44Speaker 2: What's the point? What's the point?
- 28:46Speaker 1: Wait?
- 28:46Speaker 2: What are we doing?
- 28:47Speaker 4: Right?
- 28:49Speaker 2: You just took your team to the Super Bowl? Literally
- 28:52Speaker 2: that was awful a year before.
- 28:56Speaker 4: The funnier part about this is like all the clips
- 29:00Speaker 4: surfacing of Diana Russini just like crapping on her husband
- 29:03Speaker 4: any chance.
- 29:04Speaker 2: She got, Oh, something tells me he might not be
- 29:12Speaker 2: that bothered by it.
- 29:14Speaker 4: Who Mike Rabel, Oh the husband. I don't know if
- 29:19Speaker 4: he he allegedly hired a private investigator. That feels like
- 29:23Speaker 4: a revenge move to me. Yeah, but I think of
- 29:28Speaker 4: things differently than men do, so like girls think of
- 29:31Speaker 4: stuff differently, Like.
- 29:34Speaker 3: That's something I would do. Oh, your cheating on me.
- 29:36Speaker 4: I'm about to hire a private investigator and I'm gonna
- 29:39Speaker 4: sell it to tabloids.
- 29:40Speaker 2: And I'm gonna remember that old show that came on
- 29:43Speaker 2: like late night Cheaters, cheaters like Fox late night. Yeah,
- 29:50Speaker 2: so dumb, yeah, gotcha. There's a TV crew.
- 29:58Speaker 3: And everybody was sick.
- 30:00Speaker 2: I don't know, say, am I like eleven pm after
- 30:05Speaker 2: should have been asleep. We don't have anybody, we don't
- 30:08Speaker 2: have a late night show. So here's some people cheating
- 30:11Speaker 2: that we caught.
- 30:13Speaker 3: I wonder if any of those were real or if
- 30:15Speaker 3: it was just all stage.
- 30:16Speaker 2: It had to be, right, I mean it was real
- 30:21Speaker 2: and they were still like bad actors. All right. Well, well,
- 30:27Speaker 2: on that note, we're just gonna good stuff. It was
- 30:33Speaker 2: a good breakdown, and so we'll see how it all
- 30:35Speaker 2: plays out. We'll see if Dinana Versini gets her gets
- 30:38Speaker 2: ever ever gets back in the media. But we would
- 30:40Speaker 2: assume Mike Brabill still gonna be the coach from the
- 30:42Speaker 2: England Patriots headed into the draft, and we're gonna we're
- 30:46Speaker 2: gonna talk a little draft one. What are you laugh?
- 30:48Speaker 4: Well, somebody in the chat Albo said, I think they
- 30:51Speaker 4: stopped that show because the host got stabbed.
- 30:56Speaker 2: We're gonna have to look this up. That would be classic.
- 31:03Speaker 2: O my god. All right, I do have a little
- 31:06Speaker 2: bit of NFL newsky on the other side, so we'll
- 31:09Speaker 2: get to that might be about Garrett Nussmeyer in his
- 31:12Speaker 2: landing spot potentially or hopefully so. Stick with us right

- 34:48Speaker 2: the draft of course starting tomorrow, which we'll run through
- 34:51Speaker 2: the weekend. And all eyes certainly on the Saints. Pick
- 34:55Speaker 2: at number eight. Are they gonna go Monsore? They're gonna
- 34:57Speaker 2: go Sunday? They who are they gonna go? We don't know.
- 35:00Speaker 2: We're tired of speculating, We're tired of guessing. It's about
- 35:04Speaker 2: time to actually find out and have something tangible to
- 35:06Speaker 2: talk about here in a couple of days. But until
- 35:09Speaker 2: that point we're gonna keep speculating. But something has happened.
- 35:13Speaker 2: A little news did reach out yesterday and I saw
- 35:16Speaker 2: which I found interesting. Of course, we've been talking a
- 35:19Speaker 2: lot about Garrett Smeyer and his cyst on a spinal
- 35:22Speaker 2: cord and how that might have impacted the way he
- 35:25Speaker 2: played this past year, and how just like annoying and
- 35:28Speaker 2: frustrating that is for all those LSU fans, and I'm
- 35:31Speaker 2: sure for Garrett as well. But I've been saying for
- 35:35Speaker 2: a long time, well I'll say a long time last
- 35:38Speaker 2: couple of weeks, like I would love for Garrett to
- 35:40Speaker 2: get in the right situation to be able to grow
- 35:43Speaker 2: learn within a good offensive scheme with stability at a
- 35:46Speaker 2: coaching staff. And I've said, man, I would love for
- 35:50Speaker 2: him to go to the Rams. My second choice room
- 35:52Speaker 2: would be the Packers, just because that play style that
- 35:55Speaker 2: he has is I think a little bit similar to
- 35:57Speaker 2: Jordan Love. But for years I have compared him, since
- 36:00Speaker 2: he's been here, I've compared him to the play style
- 36:03Speaker 2: of Matthew Stafford. Now I'm not comparing the players. I'm
- 36:08Speaker 2: comparing the play styles. Very talented with your arm can
- 36:11Speaker 2: throw it. Like when I first went and saw Garrett
- 36:13Speaker 2: and as Meyer in practice in a scrimmage when he
- 36:16Speaker 2: was a freshman making throws and reads and decisions that
- 36:19Speaker 2: you can't really teach. He anticipated people getting open over
- 36:23Speaker 2: the middle, which is hard to do as a freshman
- 36:25Speaker 2: coming out of high school in a college atmosphere in
- 36:28Speaker 2: Tiger Stadium in a scrimmage. The anticipation, the ability to
- 36:31Speaker 2: know that I can I can fit it in. It
- 36:34Speaker 2: might not look open. That route might not look open
- 36:37Speaker 2: to most people, but to me, I see leverage on
- 36:41Speaker 2: a defensive back, I see a linebacker with his back turn.
- 36:44Speaker 2: He was able to pull the trigger. And Matthew Stafford
- 36:47Speaker 2: has always been really good at that. Able to throw
- 36:48Speaker 2: from different arm angles as well. Of course, Matthew Stafford
- 36:51Speaker 2: has like one of the most gifted arm talents. Ball
- 36:55Speaker 2: out of the hand, wrisked finger extension pronation like one
- 36:58Speaker 2: of the best we've ever seen do it at different
- 37:01Speaker 2: arm angles. Matthew sav was still doing it. He'll be
- 37:03Speaker 2: a Hall of Famer. Of course, got his first MVP
- 37:06Speaker 2: this past season was his first. I can't remember anyway,
- 37:10Speaker 2: I think it was that. That is my hope that
- 37:12Speaker 2: he goes there gets to learn from one of the
- 37:14Speaker 2: best to ever do it. Sean McVay has had one
- 37:16Speaker 2: of the top offenses almost every year that he's been
- 37:18Speaker 2: the head coach. I think he's been the head coach
- 37:20Speaker 2: of the Rams for nine years. In that wild nine years,
- 37:23Speaker 2: Sean McVay has been the head coach for the Rams.
- 37:24Speaker 2: So that is where me that I'm sitting, and I
- 37:28Speaker 2: think that would be a fantastic landing spotform Well, I
- 37:31Speaker 2: saw some news yesterday that piqued my interest a little bit.
- 37:35Speaker 2: RAMS backup quarterback is Jimmy Garoppolo. Now, Jimmy Garoppolo has
- 37:40Speaker 2: played you know, he's played football for for quite a
- 37:44Speaker 2: long time. He has let's see, he's played twelve years.
- 37:49Speaker 2: It's made over one hundred and fifty six million dollars.
- 37:52Speaker 2: Jimmy Garoppolo and currently thirty four years old. He's actually
- 37:55Speaker 2: contemplayed in retirement right now. That came out yesterday and
- 37:59Speaker 2: Sean mcg they had to address this, and he said,
- 38:02Speaker 2: we leave the door open. You don't want to like
- 38:05Speaker 2: press him. We want to be able to give him
- 38:07Speaker 2: his time to make that decision. And he knows where
- 38:10Speaker 2: we stand, which I'm sure is I'm sure they want
- 38:12Speaker 2: him back, and he's one of the top backup quarterbacks
- 38:14Speaker 2: in the league. Once was a starter, and you know,
- 38:17Speaker 2: he was a high draft pick. I was actually with
- 38:19Speaker 2: him his rookie year in New England. So if he retires,
- 38:25Speaker 2: certainly that moves up the time frame. Now Garrett has
- 38:28Speaker 2: you know, once we had said that we don't know
- 38:29Speaker 2: where he's going to get drafted. We don't know if
- 38:31Speaker 2: he was going to halfway through the season. I don't
- 38:33Speaker 2: know if he's draftable. At this point, well, everything has
- 38:36Speaker 2: come He's done all the right things, performed great at
- 38:38Speaker 2: the Senior Bowl, had a good combine show, and has
- 38:41Speaker 2: shown people that, look, there was an issue. It wasn't
- 38:44Speaker 2: just me forgetting how to throw the football, how to read.
- 38:47Speaker 2: Deefen says, I didn't like overnight start to suck, Like,
- 38:50Speaker 2: that's not me. That last season was. So let's go back,
- 38:53Speaker 2: let's look at the complete body of work of my
- 38:56Speaker 2: years at LSU, and let's take a look at everything.
- 38:59Speaker 2: And so since then, I don't know if anybody's helped
- 39:01Speaker 2: themselves more than Garrett Nesmeyer has in this whole draft process,
- 39:05Speaker 2: you go from a late round guy to now being
- 39:08Speaker 2: thought of as a you know, probably a second to
- 39:10Speaker 2: fourth round grade for most teams. That doesn't mean he's
- 39:14Speaker 2: gonna go in the second, but they put him a
- 39:16Speaker 2: two to four grade. I don't know if anybody's gonna
- 39:19Speaker 2: have him outside of that, but the Rams are one
- 39:23Speaker 2: of those teams that now other people are projecting might
- 39:26Speaker 2: scoop him up in that second or third round. Of course,
- 39:29Speaker 2: the Rams a really good team, probably the second best
- 39:32Speaker 2: team in the NFL last year. I think the only
- 39:34Speaker 2: team that could have beat the Seahawks at that time
- 39:36Speaker 2: of the year was the Rams, and they of course
- 39:38Speaker 2: got beating the NFC championship That to me was the
- 39:41Speaker 2: super Bowl, that NFC Championship game. So they don't need
- 39:47Speaker 2: as much help as other teams, so I would it
- 39:49Speaker 2: would be so fantastic if Garrett could go to the Rams.
- 39:52Speaker 2: So that's where I'm hoping for him. That's where I'm
- 39:54Speaker 2: gonna predict him. And now with Jimmy Garoppolo actually contemplating
- 39:57Speaker 2: retirement and even if he does a there's uncertainty there
- 40:01Speaker 2: now for the Rams organization, their GM, their head coach,
- 40:05Speaker 2: all their all their scouts. They have to be looking
- 40:08Speaker 2: at the future a little bit, and hopefully that future
- 40:11Speaker 2: could potentially be Garrett Nessmeyer. I don't know who else
- 40:14Speaker 2: it's going to be. I don't think if Carson Beck
- 40:15Speaker 2: fits the mold of that type of offense. There's maybe
- 40:20Speaker 2: a couple of other players that do. I don't know
- 40:22Speaker 2: if Taylor Green fits them mold to that offense. Those
- 40:25Speaker 2: are guys that are kind of in the same have
- 40:27Speaker 2: kind of the same grade as nus Meyer. I think
- 40:29Speaker 2: Nesmar would be a good addition to them for that
- 40:32Speaker 2: and could fit Weather nicely with the Sean McVay offense.
- 40:35Speaker 2: So here's the hope. And I guess that's all we
- 40:37Speaker 2: can do right now. Because it's all hope, it's all guesses.
- 40:41Speaker 2: Nobody knows. I guess what well know. In a couple
- 40:44Speaker 2: of days, Cassie, Garrett Nessmeyer, what teams are you going
- 40:49Speaker 2: to be on in three days?
- 40:51Speaker 3: On the Rams?
- 40:55Speaker 2: I guess, ol Andre, what teams Garrettsmyer going to?
- 41:03Speaker 3: I guess the Rams' Oh my.
- 41:05Speaker 2: Gosh, come on, people, you could have picked thirty one other.
- 41:11Speaker 3: The Rams are.
- 41:14Speaker 2: Pittsburgh, Okay, kay, Pittsburgh's not a bad one. Yeah, Pittsburgh,
- 41:18Speaker 2: not a bad one. It's my guy, Aaron Rodgers, gonna
- 41:20Speaker 2: do who knows? All right, Well, there you have it.
- 41:24Speaker 2: It's officials. I was going to the rams because all
- 41:28Speaker 2: three of us said the same thing. Lady Kane has

- 43:46Speaker 2: thrower of a ball and a sport. Didn't look very
- 43:50Speaker 2: good thing to baseball.
- 43:53Speaker 3: To be fair, Joe Burrow did that. He didn't look
- 43:55Speaker 3: good doing it either.
- 43:58Speaker 2: I mean, he's like the straight Wait the most fos
- 44:02Speaker 2: for me? Did he did he do the strike out things?
