- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Epstein Chronicles. When it comes to the Congressional committee that's
- 0:08being chaired by James Comer, one thing you can guarantee
- 0:13is that they're not going to get anything done and
- 0:15that the whole entire point of the committee is to
- 0:18protect Donald Trump and the administration. And this is something
- 0:22that I've been adamant about since the very beginning, and
- 0:27every time you turn around, there's more evidence backing that up,
- 0:32especially when you hear that James Comer allegedly has been
- 0:36using a workaround in Congress to get around these subpoenas,
- 0:39especially when it comes to high profile people. So instead
- 0:43of having a committee session where they call votes, what
- 0:47he's been doing is hosting roundtables instead. That way he
- 0:51can manage the whole entire situation to protect Trump. At
- 0:55my friends, that's part of the cover up. This whole
- 0:58entire thing stinks from the head down, and in my opinion,
- 1:02this is way bigger than Watergate ever was. I mean,
- 1:05just look at how expansive this Epstein cover up is.
- 1:08Look at how many people have been dragged into it,
- 1:11and look at how many powerful people are keeping it going.
- 1:14And then you hear stuff like this and it really
- 1:17makes you question what James Comer's really up to. And
- 1:19when you really start chopping it up, it doesn't look
- 1:22good for James Comer or the GOP. And if these
- 1:26allegations that are being made by the Democrats about them
- 1:30using these roundtables instead of having committee, it's a big problem.
- 1:34Today's article is from Politico and the headline this is
- 1:37how Democrats say oversight Republicans are trying to squash the
- 1:41Epstein investigation. This article was authored by Riley Rogerson and
- 1:46Haley Fuchs. Members of both parties have for months been
- 1:52hijacking House Oversight Committee business to call votes on subpoenas
- 1:56for high profile figures in the Jeffrey Epstein investigation, and
- 2:00Democrats say Chair James Comer has quietly instituted a new
- 2:04strategy to contain the practice. Well, look, that's what these
- 2:09committees are for. And you open Pandora's box when you
- 2:13start talking about Jeffrey Epstein, especially on the grand stage.
- 2:17And now there's no going back. That camel has left
- 2:20the oasis, and people aren't going to just go back
- 2:24to thinking that everything's okay. They want answers. The Kentucky
- 2:31Republicans work around, they allege is the whole roundtables on
- 2:34various issues within the panel's jurisdiction, rather than hearings. Roundtables
- 2:39are more informal and don't permit members to offer motions
- 2:42to subpoenal witnesses during unrelated committee business, as is allowed
- 2:47during hearings. What are they so worried about? What is
- 2:50James Comer the Gomer so worried about when it comes
- 2:54to subpoenaing Jeffrey Epstein's friends, besides the fact that a
- 2:58lot of them are probably his, don't And you can't
- 3:01go after the piggy bank, can you? And if you
- 3:03think the Republicans are about accountability these days, you got
- 3:07another thing coming. These are not your granddaddy's Republicans, folks.
- 3:11You know, the people that actually tried to make pretend
- 3:14they were conservative. At least they at least had the
- 3:16whole front going on, had a little bit of humility
- 3:19in public. Not these people. Over the past year, some
- 3:25GOP members have joined with Democrats to take advantage of
- 3:28the panel subpoena rules. In July, they voted on a
- 3:31surprise motion to release the full Epstein files when top
- 3:35congressional Republicans were dragging their feed And that's what this
- 3:38all comes down to. Comer wants to control the blast radius.
- 3:43I've been telling you that for a long time, and
- 3:46the best way to do that is narrative control. It's
- 3:49a huge tool, and it's very effective because once they
- 3:53change the narrative, they can start painting people who object
- 3:57to their narrative as crazies. And then when you have
- 4:00the New York Times and Washington Post and all these
- 4:03legacy outlets running the nonsensical narrative, what do you think
- 4:07your grandma's gonna believe? Or your cousin Tommy, who might
- 4:10not be so hip on what's going on with Epstein
- 4:13and only has the legacy media to give him news,
- 4:15What do you think he's going to think? And that's
- 4:17why this whole thing is so nefarious, and that's why
- 4:20the legacy media needs to own their part in it.
- 4:22Because while they were calling people conspiracy theorists and crazy,
- 4:26Jeffrey Epstein's friends were cleaning up all the evidence. Lawmakers
- 4:32also compelled now former Attorney General Pam Bondi to testify
- 4:36and were prepared to haul in commerce Secretary Howard Lutnik
- 4:39two before he said he would appear before the committee voluntarily.
- 4:44So is Howard Lutnick gonna be in public? You know,
- 4:47like they want the survivors. I think Howard Ludnik should
- 4:50be public too, then, and in fact, I think that
- 4:53members of the public should be able to ask them questions.
- 4:56Since everything's public now, right, let's just get everything out there.
- 5:00Let's go with full transparency and no more behind the
- 5:03scenes depositions. How about that? Because if it's good for
- 5:07the goose, that shit better be good for the gander.
- 5:11This trend is outlined in a new memo prepared by
- 5:14oversight Democratic staff obtained by Politico, which claims that by
- 5:18moving to roundtables, Republicans are avoiding the only forum where
- 5:22Democrats can force votes, demand documents, and hold the majority accountable. Look,
- 5:28there's no accountability, there's never going to be. Everything is broken.
- 5:32The people that are supposed to watch, the watchers are
- 5:35busy stealing handover fist And it really reminds me of
- 5:38the late stages of Rome, when all the senators and
- 5:40congressmen were picking the bones clean, not caring about anything else.
- 5:44I feel like that's where we're at and all of
- 5:47this stuff that we see as far as these committees
- 5:49and acting like they care about Epstein, all of that
- 5:52stuff is just political theater. That way, in four years,
- 5:55when another vote rolls around, they can say they cared
- 5:57about you again. We've heard from committee members, both Republican
- 6:01and Democrat, that they're frustrated. Representative Robert Garcia, the top
- 6:05Democrat on the committee, said in an interview on Monday,
- 6:09we have important investigative work and they want to do
- 6:12this right as we are in the middle of this
- 6:15single largest government cover up in the modern history of Congress,
- 6:19and they want to neuter the Oversight Committee. Give me
- 6:22a break because it was never supposed to have power.
- 6:24This is what I've told you because breaking news. These
- 6:27people are deceitful and they do not care about you.
- 6:33A spokesman for Oversight Republicans, when reached for comment, did
- 6:36not address a question about whether the uptake and roundtables
- 6:40was intended to prevent subpoena votes. The spokesperson said the
- 6:44panel continues to hold many hearings and will host a
- 6:46markup on fraud prevention legislation next week. Oh cool, they
- 6:51can bring in Nick Shirley to regurgitate a bunch of
- 6:54different fraud allegations that we already knew, and then they
- 6:57can lift them up on their shoulders and carry them
- 6:59around like the Naria. What an absolute joke. Oh, we
- 7:03got a mark up on fraud prevention. Well, why don't
- 7:06you guys start with Congress, because you're all frauds, every
- 7:09last one of you. Roundtables provide opportunities to have more
- 7:15substantative and direct conversations with ordinary Americans about issues facing
- 7:19communities across the US. The spokesperson said, you're the oversight committee,
- 7:25you dumb fox. How about some oversight of the DOJ.
- 7:31Every single person on this committee should not be reelected. Sorry,
- 7:37And I remain strong in my opinions about incumbents. My advice,
- 7:43and I don't give it very often. Don't vote for incumbents.
- 7:48Does anyone like the way the country's going, the direction
- 7:51we're headed in? If the answers no, why are you
- 7:55voting for X, Y or Z again when they've proven
- 7:57that they can't do the job, not to the point
- 8:00where it's going to be effective and help the American people. Oh,
- 8:03they'll help themselves, that's a guarantee. But helping me and
- 8:07you forget about it. But the member subpoena free for
- 8:13all over the past nine months has undoubtedly created a
- 8:16complicated political dynamic for comer. Always about politics, never about
- 8:22the survivors, never about the fact that you and I
- 8:24were stolen from, never about the fact that we were
- 8:27absolutely shit on by the DOJ and I to He
- 8:33has become the de facto leader of the Congressional Epstein Probe,
- 8:36forcing him to balance calls for transparency with the political
- 8:40fallout of Trump's one time relationship with the late convicted
- 8:43sex offender. In other words, his job is to protect
- 8:47Donald Trump, just like I told you. That's what the
- 8:51goal has always been with this committee, and that's why
- 8:53I came out against it so heavily when they first
- 8:55announced it. If they were serious, the first people they
- 8:58would have had up there before the committee was all
- 9:01the survivors who wished to talk, every last one of them.
- 9:05Give them their time, let them tell their story, don't
- 9:08try and force names out of them, let them tell
- 9:11their story and then go from there. But we didn't
- 9:14see that, did we, of course not. It was just
- 9:17a bunch of political rhetoric right off the bat. Oh,
- 9:19this one, that one. Meanwhile, they're missing the whole point
- 9:23and people like Comer don't even want to go and
- 9:25speak to Waxner, so please stop it. Republicans have noticed
- 9:32the connection between the spike and subpoenas and the subsequent
- 9:35increase in roundtables in lieu of hearings. Representative Glenn Grothman,
- 9:42during a March subcommittee roundtable on mental health issues, at
- 9:45one point said, it's no secret why we're not doing
- 9:48a formal hearing today. We'd like this hearing to be
- 9:51solely focused on the issue before you. And there's some
- 9:54concern that both parties are guilty of this, that they
- 9:57make motions in the middle of the hearing and try
- 9:59to bring up on related topics. Well, here's an idea.
- 10:02Why don't you address one topic before you move on
- 10:05to the other, mister Grothman. Republicans have also gone on
- 10:09subpoenas breeze of their own, most notably by forcing the
- 10:12February deposition of Bill and Hillary Clinton. That they absolutely
- 10:17fumbled all those years trying to get Hillary Clinton and
- 10:21Bill Clinton in that chair, and when they finally get there,
- 10:26they send out Anna Paulina Luna as the interrogator, YO
- 10:31talk about the B team. It's like the Savannah Bananas
- 10:34going up against the Yankees. Representative or as I like
- 10:37to call her, influencer, Anna Paulina Luna suggested that she
- 10:41wasn't happy about the new status quo, while stopping short
- 10:45of criticizing roundtables directly, She said in an interview, I'm
- 10:48a fan of committees that like to do the motions
- 10:51to subpoena. I wonder if she's going to send a
- 10:53subpoena to those interdimensional beings she likes to talk about.
- 10:57The last full committee hearing convened by House Oversight. It
- 11:00was in March on fraud Minnesota. At that hearing, Republican
- 11:04Representative Nancy Mace of South Carolina forced a vote to
- 11:07subpoena Bondi for her handling of the federal Epstein investigation.
- 11:12Five Republicans joined all Democrats present in voting for the
- 11:16subpoena motion, and Bondie's recent ouster is in Quellen calls
- 11:20for her to appear before the panel under oath. Well
- 11:24she should. I mean, I'm not going to keep beating
- 11:27this dead horse, but come on, since that time, first
- 11:32Lady Milania Trump delivered a public statement denying she was
- 11:35ever victimized by Epstein and urging Congress to hold hearings
- 11:39with true victims, an entreaty that could resonate with Mace
- 11:43and others who were bought into the subpoena exercise, though
- 11:46Comer has indicated he plans on having such hearings because
- 11:51he has to. Do you think James Comer really cares
- 11:55about the Epstein's revivers? Come on, seriously, do you really
- 11:58think so? And that goes for a lot of these people.
- 12:01Robert Garcia as well. I never heard him say a
- 12:04thing about Epstein throughout the years. Now he's some kind
- 12:08of crusader for the cause. Miss me with all of it.
- 12:12In the meantime, Oversight subcommittees have held five roundtables this
- 12:16year alone on topics such as AI and Internal Revenue Service.
- 12:21The Full Committee's scheduled to convene a six roundtable Tuesday morning,
- 12:25law Fair against American Agriculture, whatever that means. That's compared
- 12:32to two subcommittee round tables listed for all of twenty
- 12:34twenty five. Comer hosted no Full Committee roundtables since becoming
- 12:38chair in twenty twenty three. The panel's website shows several
- 12:43oversight Republicans set in interviews, they appreciate the opportunity to
- 12:46examine policy areas without the partisan mudslinging and subpoena distractions
- 12:51that oversight has become known for. This term, Oh well,
- 12:55isn't that cute? Can't take a little bit of downrange
- 12:59political fire from your colleagues. Maybe you're too soft to
- 13:03be in that position when you're really trying to get
- 13:08to the bottom of something. It's much more conducive way
- 13:10of doing it, said Representative Eric Burlinson. Of course, another
- 13:14Republican representative, Clay Higgins, who voted against the Epstein Transparency Act,
- 13:20by the way, argue during a recent committee hearing on
- 13:22the misuse of federal funds in Minnesota that the subpoena
- 13:25happy approach has taken by his colleagues is undermining the
- 13:29seriousness of the panel's work. Buddy, you're the only one
- 13:33undermining anything serious. Another fool, another moron, another guy who
- 13:37thinks he's smarter than he is. How much money have
- 13:41you made since you've been in office, mister Higgins? How
- 13:45much of that money have you parked in offshore accounts?
- 13:49What exactly have you done for your constituents, mister Higgins,
- 13:53Have the people of Louisiana experienced this incredible rise in
- 13:58lifestyle that nobody knows about while you've been in office?
- 14:01Because what exactly is it that you're doing for your people?
- 14:06Because I can tell you what you're doing on the
- 14:07public stage, the national stage, is nothing but protecting the president.
- 14:12Imagine going down in history as the one dude to
- 14:14vote against the Epstein Transparency Act. In the year twenty
- 14:18seventy five, Hey, little Johnny, in the year twenty twenty
- 14:23five and twenty twenty six, there was a vote about
- 14:26the worst predator in the history of America. His name
- 14:29was Jeffrey Epstein, and only one person voted against him.
- 14:32Who was it? Little Johnny raises his hand again, Oh
- 14:36pick me. It was that moron Hillbilly Clay Higgins, That's
- 14:40who it was. I mean, is this guy for real?
- 14:43What does he think he's going to go down to
- 14:44some hero that people are going to look back on
- 14:46Clay Higgins as the moral standard for Congress. Listen to
- 14:52your uncle, Clay, America. You don't just normally start out
- 14:55with a subpoena introduced as a vote by a member
- 14:58Higgins said, I object to this process. That is false
- 15:01and not reflective of the serious investigative work that the
- 15:04Oversight Committee performs day in and day out. Very well,
- 15:08said Comer, replied, well, I don't know how Comer replied
- 15:12with that, considering he had all of Clay deep down
- 15:15his throat at that time. I'm shocked he was able
- 15:17to get any words out. But folks, let's be real.
- 15:20The whole point of this whole committee and James Comer
- 15:24is to protect Donald Trump. And there is no length
- 15:26that James Comer is not willing to go. And I
- 15:28think that we have plenty of evidence at this point
- 15:31that proves that. So, like usual, we'll keep on keeping
- 15:34on and we'll see what kind of nonsense that the
- 15:37GOP Committee comes up with next. But if they think
- 15:40that they're just gonna get away with it and everybody's
- 15:42just gonna NodD along, they got a whole lass other
- 15:45thing coming. All the information that goes with this episode
