  The Lord says He will make all things around you a blessing.

  He says in His time He will shower you with blessings.

  He promises you there will be showers of blessings.

  You only have to receive them. It requires you to see Him for who He is.

  You must look around you to be aware of his everlasting and constant presence.
• 1:24
  It is then and only then that you can receive all God has for you.

  Join us in this program, Showers of Blessings, as Kim Miller of Woman at the

  Well Ministries takes us through Ezekiel 34, 26,

  which says, And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing,
• 1:41
  and I will cause the shower to come down in his season.

  There shall be showers of blessing. Hello and welcome to this broadcast of Woman
• 1:49
  at the Well Ministries where there shall be showers of blessings.
• 1:54
  It's a discipline, I believe, to be able to be consciously aware of all that
• 2:01
  God does for us on a moment-by-moment basis.
• 2:05
  I believe that one of the saddest accounts in the scriptures is the one who
• 2:10
  God had blessed, but he never turned around to say thank you.
• 2:15
  And when we read of that account, we think in our minds and we think to ourselves,
• 2:20
  what an ungrateful person.
• 2:23
  Yet most of us do not take the time to reflect, to realize all that God does
• 2:29
  for us each and every day.
• 2:32
  And then there are those days that we get special blessings.
• 2:36
  And perhaps we do acknowledge when something big comes our way,
• 2:41
  but we might forget every day the amazing things he does for us.
• 2:49
  Sometimes we find it quaint when you're in the presence of a saint.
• 2:55
  Who will thank god for another day and
• 2:59
  we often attribute that to the fact that
• 3:01
  they're older and so they're just glad that they
• 3:05
  get one more day on this place we call earth but in reality as you begin to
• 3:11
  speak to some of those old saints of god you realize that as they have gotten
• 3:16
  older they have realized all
• 3:18
  that god does every day to keep their existence in the way that he does,
• 3:23
  And so it's really not about that they're happy they're not dead.
• 3:27
  It's about they have learned to commune with the king of kings and lord of lords
• 3:32
  in such a way that they're very aware of his presence.
• 3:37
  And I wonder if we're honest with ourselves, if we are that aware of his presence.
• 3:45
  We have awakened today if you're listening and i'm speaking we've awakened today
• 3:52
  to the blessings of god that we've come accustomed to the sun is out we assume
• 4:00
  in our hearts that it will.
• 4:02
  Retire in the west this afternoon and
• 4:05
  evening the stars will come out have
• 4:09
  you ever thought about that blessing in itself the fact
• 4:12
  that he didn't make the night time pitch
• 4:15
  black so that if we need to
• 4:18
  maneuver and go around we can have you
• 4:22
  thought about the wonders of the earth as psalms
• 4:26
  8 tells us the stars the
• 4:30
  moon of the light by night the
• 4:34
  water that he covers the earth with
• 4:37
  that we might have life just think about
• 4:40
  that the ocean and the water is far more
• 4:43
  than a piece of entertainment for us to watch and play it
• 4:46
  water is essential for our life and
• 4:49
  though the world discusses the scarcity of it and
• 4:53
  the shortages that seem to come our way the lord
• 4:56
  has provided enough for all of us and he
• 5:00
  continues to do so that's a blessing
• 5:03
  have you ever thought about how it all works with evapotranspiration and the
• 5:07
  clouds and the rain and how he just cycles this water the amazing intricacies
• 5:13
  that every day he puts together from his gravitational pull to his life-giving breath,
• 5:23
  As we see a new life coming to the world. As you watch a flower bloom.
• 5:30
  And you say, well, these are all just things. They're not that.
• 5:33
  They're incredibly important.
• 5:35
  If we had no plants, you could not breathe. And perhaps my science geekness is coming out.
• 5:40
  But let's take a moment to see the very things that most of us today did not
• 5:45
  say, thank you, Lord, for the air I breathe.
• 5:49
  Thank you lord for providing the things
• 5:52
  for me that i neither understand nor know that
• 5:54
  i need did you pray that prayer today
• 5:58
  are you cognitively aware that
• 6:01
  he has showered you with blessings before your feet have hit the ground and
• 6:07
  i realize that many within the sound of my voice may be going through trouble.
• 6:10
  I realize you may have lost a loved one i remember when my father died When
• 6:17
  the paper man delivered the paper the next day, I was completely stunned.
• 6:22
  My world had stopped. His had just gone on. And I couldn't get that for a few minutes.
• 6:29
  And I learned something from that.
• 6:32
  God is still on the throne, still working for our good, still providing for
• 6:40
  us and still caring, even in your darkest moment.
• 6:44
  And perhaps it is then, when you by faith ask for his assistance,
• 6:52
  that you will truly see his greatest work in you.
• 6:58
  You see, his greatness is not dependent on outward circumstances.
• 7:04
  His goodness has no dependence upon what's happening around you.
• 7:11
  God is good and God is great.
• 7:16
  And there's nothing that can change either of those two facts.
• 7:23
  And every day that he has given you breath, he has ordered your steps.
• 7:30
  And you have to choose to acknowledge his greatness, to receive his goodness,
• 7:39
  and to allow him to direct your paths that you may find yourself directly where
• 7:45
  the showers of blessings are pouring out.
• 7:47
  And you may be surprised to know that sometimes the places with the greatest
• 7:54
  blessings are the hardest places to go, are the most uncomfortable places to be.
• 8:00
  But when you walk in faith and you follow his direction and you allow him to
• 8:06
  lead, he is the way, the truth and the life.
• 8:10
  And when you are following him, you will have life and you will have it more
• 8:13
  abundantly and you will have joy unspeakable and full of glory.
• 8:17
  And you'll have a peace that passeth understanding.
• 8:20
  I have no idea what your outward life is going to look like.
• 8:24
  I have no idea what you may have to walk through.
• 8:27
  But I know for certain, beyond a shadow of a doubt,
• 8:31
  that if you are following behind the footsteps of the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords,
• 8:37
  and you are listening to him for guidance, and you are following what he asks
• 8:42
  you to do, I promise you there'll be showers of blessings that you can't even begin to realize.
• 8:51
  And as you stand there, soaked in his blessings, dripping with his goodness.
• 8:58
  You won't really mind whatever else is going on around you.
• 9:03
  For you will know that you are in the center of the will of God,
• 9:11
  your maker, your creator, your redeemer, and your savior.
• 9:15
  You will be in perfect alignment with all that he has for you.
• 9:20
  And your love will be so strong that you'll know that whatever's going on is right.
• 9:26
  Because you'll know that he cares for you and that he is great and he is good.
• 9:34
  Perhaps your faith is a little weak and perhaps you might need to stop for a second right here,
• 9:43
  and you might need to begin to just talk to the Lord and you need to get in
• 9:50
  his word and be reminded of his goodness and his greatness.
• 9:55
  He who hung the moon and the stars he lives in you the king of kings and the
• 10:01
  lord of lords he loves you he wants for you that which is good and that which is great.
• 10:08
  And he ever lives to make intercession for you.
• 10:14
  I'd like for you to look, if you would, please, in Psalms chapter 8 with me.
• 10:19
  He says, O Lord, our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth,
• 10:25
  who has set the glory above the heavens.
• 10:28
  Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength,
• 10:32
  because of thine enemies thou mightest still thy enemy and thy avenger.
• 10:36
  And then listen. When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers,
• 10:40
  the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained.
• 10:44
  What is man that thou art mindful of him and the son of man that thou visitest him?
• 10:50
  The king of kings, the Lord of lords.
• 10:56
  He dwells in the heart of every believer. And you were yoked to royalty.
• 11:05
  And his greatness shines about you
• 11:08
  and if you will lose yourself in
• 11:11
  him he will lift you up and you will find greatness
• 11:14
  beyond what you could ever imagine or wonder or
• 11:17
  think or wish for for in Jesus there's perfectness and he will come let come
• 11:25
  to pass that which he has created for you to do if you but just believe in him
• 11:30
  and allow him to lead you there's showers of blessings,
• 11:35
  but we have to get up every day and talk
• 11:38
  to him and we need to train our eyes to see what he's done and we start with
• 11:43
  the things that we know every day that is happening and then we begin to ask
• 11:48
  him lord point out when your hand is upon me point out when your hand is around
• 11:53
  me point out when your marvelous works are surrounding me.
• 11:57
  Help me have eyes to see that you love me and shower me with your blessings.
• 12:03
  Soon you'll be walking around soaked in the goodness of God,
• 12:10
  understanding in your heart and mind that you are.
• 12:13
  Some of you are walking around soaked right now and you just don't know it.
• 12:17
  But there's great joy in being soaked in the showers of the blessings of God.
