- 1:05Speaker 1: so now we're officially bringing on Andy Cohen, or, as
- 1:08Speaker 1: Howard Stern says, Andy Cohene.
- 1:10Speaker 5: Yes he does right, And Hi ladies, this is surreal. Okay,
- 1:16Speaker 5: thank you for reading my book. I am so impressed,
- 1:19Speaker 5: especially with you.
- 1:20Speaker 6: Miss jeff Well.
- 1:21Speaker 2: Okay, so she listened to it. I actually read.
- 1:24Speaker 6: It, and they both count. Both count.
- 1:28Speaker 4: I don't normally read books because I have a d
- 1:30Speaker 4: D so bad it's really hard. But I read this
- 1:32Speaker 4: book in twelve hours. It was a very easy, good yes, fun.
- 1:36Speaker 6: Did you like it?
- 1:37Speaker 2: I really did?
- 1:37Speaker 6: You did?
- 1:38Speaker 3: And I did?
- 1:39Speaker 6: I literally, I mean there.
- 1:40Speaker 5: Was a if you two didn't. I mean there's a
- 1:42Speaker 5: lot in there for the two of you. Yes, yes, And.
- 1:45Speaker 1: I think there's a lot of things that I related to,
- 1:48Speaker 1: even not as an ex housewife, but the parenting stuff
- 1:51Speaker 1: and the guilt and things that come with working and
- 1:53Speaker 1: the judgment with being in the public eye.
- 1:55Speaker 3: All that's so good and we will get into that.
- 1:57Speaker 4: Ok But it's very it's very interesting to hear your
- 2:00Speaker 4: perspective of being a dad, a single gay man raising
- 2:04Speaker 4: two kids. I think that there's I mean, just open
- 2:07Speaker 4: my eyes to.
- 2:07Speaker 6: So much great.
- 2:08Speaker 3: Thank you, But we are going to start off.
- 2:10Speaker 2: With something that you screw with us all the time.
- 2:12Speaker 3: Okay, plead the fifth Wow, all right with a softball?
- 2:18Speaker 1: Okay, your worst watch what happens live guest ever, Well.
- 2:26Speaker 5: You know, Amber Rose was not up for my Shenanigans.
- 2:29Speaker 5: That was years ago, and Deborah Winger didn't really care
- 2:33Speaker 5: for me too much either.
- 2:34Speaker 2: See I told you he wouldn't say a housewife.
- 2:36Speaker 6: Yeah, no, it's not. Housewives are not bad guests. I
- 2:40Speaker 6: will say.
- 2:40Speaker 5: Sometimes they'll be a I will say the shots of Sunset.
- 2:45Speaker 5: People used to come on and they would be so
- 2:49Speaker 5: amped up from being in New York that they would
- 2:51Speaker 5: just torch the plate like they would torch all their
- 2:54Speaker 5: cast members.
- 2:55Speaker 6: And it would be kind of unsustainable.
- 2:57Speaker 5: Or they'll be or there could be a housewiver or
- 3:00Speaker 5: of a liberty who comes on and maybe it's their
- 3:02Speaker 5: first appearance and they're nervous, but they never you know,
- 3:05Speaker 5: I always give them grace because I mean, as I've
- 3:08Speaker 5: said many times, it's hard to we're plucking normal people
- 3:12Speaker 5: into the public eye and now suddenly they're on a
- 3:14Speaker 5: talk show.
- 3:15Speaker 6: I mean, it's you know, there's no guidebook for it.
- 3:17Speaker 3: But in your.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Book, to just astray for a second, you said there
- 3:21Speaker 1: was one person who will never be invited back to
- 3:23Speaker 1: the club back again, which is who.
- 3:25Speaker 5: I can't say. I know, I can't say, it's not
- 3:28Speaker 5: a house definitely not. No, it's not an ex housewife either. No, No,
- 3:32Speaker 5: it's no one in the bravosphere.
- 3:34Speaker 4: I vaguely remember you saying years ago that Lizzie was
- 3:38Speaker 4: one of the most boring housewife guests You've had.
- 3:43Speaker 6: Impossibility that could be a possibility. I like her very much.
- 3:47Speaker 7: She's very nice.
- 3:49Speaker 6: She was a one or two season O Sea housewife.
- 3:51Speaker 4: One I think, okay, better co host for Kelly Rippa,
- 3:57Speaker 4: Ryan Seacrest or Mark Cusuelis and I think.
- 4:02Speaker 6: They're just which.
- 4:04Speaker 5: As a matter of fact, I was with Kelly and
- 4:06Speaker 5: Mark the other day and we talked about you.
- 4:08Speaker 6: Yes, we did, and.
- 4:09Speaker 4: I'm a week I still say, Eddie, you look just
- 4:13Speaker 4: like I said.
- 4:14Speaker 5: You know that the OC version of the two of
- 4:16Speaker 5: you are? It was it was on an interview the
- 4:18Speaker 5: three of us were on together. I said, you know,
- 4:20Speaker 5: Tamara and Eddie are the OC version and she said,
- 4:23Speaker 5: do you know I've never met Tamra in person?
- 4:26Speaker 6: And I said, you're kidding.
- 4:27Speaker 5: Anyway, we talked about it, so I need to set
- 4:29Speaker 5: that up with her. Yes, anyway, I think Mark and
- 4:34Speaker 5: I think they're just beginning to really figure out how
- 4:39Speaker 5: great this is.
- 4:39Speaker 6: Going to be because a husband and wife never co
- 4:42Speaker 6: host a show, So I think it's going to be great.
- 4:44Speaker 1: Yes, you have to marry one, okay, Anderson Cooper or
- 4:49Speaker 1: John Mayer.
- 4:50Speaker 5: John, Yes, yeah, dred percent.
- 4:54Speaker 3: But then who are you going to have the great
- 4:55Speaker 3: threesomes with?
- 4:57Speaker 6: I know that was kind of taken out.
- 5:01Speaker 4: My god, you can only host one and Housewife Reunion
- 5:05Speaker 4: or CNN New Year's Eve?
- 5:08Speaker 6: Oh wow? Oh really maybe New Years it's really fun.
- 5:14Speaker 3: Sober drunk?
- 5:15Speaker 6: Yeah, no, I had fun sober? Actually, did you do anything?
- 5:19Speaker 6: I mean maybe a nip once or twice after midnight? No? No, no,
- 5:23Speaker 6: imber go on TV? High never? Really? Yeah? Yeah, yeah,
- 5:29Speaker 6: it would be bad. But you've I mean.
- 5:31Speaker 5: We've all, we've all, we've all had alcohol on television
- 5:35Speaker 5: before together.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Yes, you're right, one has to go, Melissa or Teresa.
- 5:44Speaker 6: Well we're figuring that out right now. But I plead
- 5:46Speaker 6: the fifth.
- 5:48Speaker 5: But by the way, plead the fifth is three questions.
- 5:51Speaker 5: So I don't know why we're still in this game.
- 5:55Speaker 3: What happens live? The twats are very different.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Worst casting decision on the How Wife's ever.
- 6:02Speaker 6: That's interesting.
- 6:05Speaker 5: I would preface it by saying that there are no
- 6:08Speaker 5: Bad Housewife casting decisions because you learn something from each one.
- 6:13Speaker 5: And I will say that Quinn on Orange County season
- 6:19Speaker 5: maybe two, was that before your time? Okay, so that
- 6:22Speaker 5: was season three. Her casting had so much promise and
- 6:28Speaker 5: it just didn't. It was an example of someone who
- 6:31Speaker 5: on casting seemed.
- 6:33Speaker 6: Like it was going to be everything.
- 6:35Speaker 5: So I think the lesson there, and we always try
- 6:38Speaker 5: to learn from things that don't work. The lesson was
- 6:41Speaker 5: that you know, maybe you know you we have to
- 6:43Speaker 5: figure out ways so that the casting isn't the only
- 6:47Speaker 5: way that we have to judge someone. So now maybe
- 6:50Speaker 5: we'll get them together with the housewife and have them
- 6:52Speaker 5: shoot what we call scene work, and Tamera will very
- 6:57Speaker 5: kindly say, okay, I'll go to lunch with the new person.
- 7:00Speaker 5: We'll see how it goes work with her. And also
- 7:02Speaker 5: then we can also say to you, how did that
- 7:04Speaker 5: feel to you, Tamera? Did you like hanging out with
- 7:07Speaker 5: that person or whatever?
- 7:09Speaker 7: So yeah, but.
- 7:19Speaker 4: I always say, like, if you get let go after
- 7:21Speaker 4: the first year is not a horrible thing. It's probably
- 7:23Speaker 4: because you're just too normal.
- 7:24Speaker 6: It could be, or you know, it just didn't work
- 7:26Speaker 6: for one reason or another.
- 7:28Speaker 1: Yes, if you could pick one housewife to be your surrogate.
- 7:32Speaker 6: Who would it be, well, a surrogate is the carrier
- 7:36Speaker 6: the carrier?
- 7:37Speaker 3: Yes, Like who would you trust to well?
- 7:38Speaker 6: I would trust.
- 7:39Speaker 5: The thing is I get this a lot about the
- 7:41Speaker 5: housewives and which housewife would you trust a babysit? The
- 7:44Speaker 5: truth is I would trust every one of them. I
- 7:48Speaker 5: think that you all are incredible moms. And also for me,
- 7:54Speaker 5: one of the joys of my relationship with the housewives
- 7:57Speaker 5: has been becoming a dad because it's opened up a
- 8:00Speaker 5: whole new dialogue about parenting that I never had. And
- 8:04Speaker 5: it's just another way that I think we're all connected.
- 8:07Speaker 5: So I would trust anyone to carry my child. It's
- 8:09Speaker 5: an hr issue.
- 8:12Speaker 4: I can't think of a bigger since we're talking about this.
- 8:14Speaker 4: Have you ever hooked up with a watch What Happens
- 8:17Speaker 4: Live guest at Night?
- 8:18Speaker 2: And if so, who.
- 8:20Speaker 5: I haven't I've hooked up with? Now we've been on
- 8:23Speaker 5: fourteen years.
- 8:24Speaker 6: I've looked up with a bartender or two.
- 8:26Speaker 2: But not somebody you didn't fish up the company.
- 8:29Speaker 5: Pond No, no, no, no no. And I've never hooked
- 8:32Speaker 5: up with a Bravoeleberty hold on yeh.
- 8:34Speaker 3: So is tam or not considered a Bravo liberty.
- 8:36Speaker 6: Have we hooked up?
- 8:37Speaker 2: We hook up?
- 8:38Speaker 7: Never?
- 8:38Speaker 3: What about on New Year's.
- 8:40Speaker 6: Eve we made out? I mean sorry, well, I mean
- 8:45Speaker 6: is that hooking? I call hooking up boning dicks out?
- 8:49Speaker 1: Yeah, hooking up is making Did you use time a
- 8:54Speaker 1: little bit?
- 8:56Speaker 6: By the way? You know? What's so funny? And I
- 8:58Speaker 6: know we're going to get to it, But I did?
- 9:00Speaker 6: What did I say? So?
- 9:02Speaker 5: I sent Tamra a copy of the book, and I said,
- 9:04Speaker 5: I think there's.
- 9:06Speaker 6: I did well because she's in it the most.
- 9:09Speaker 5: And I was like, there's going to be things in
- 9:11Speaker 5: here that you're going to have comments on. So I
- 9:15Speaker 5: wanted to get and with me today.
- 9:22Speaker 6: So I said, what was the line that I said
- 9:25Speaker 6: in the book?
- 9:26Speaker 5: I said, some over the years served in sexual chemistry
- 9:31Speaker 5: with some housewives.
- 9:32Speaker 6: And I would say, and is one of them? Yes?
- 9:35Speaker 6: And so I've been thinking about that.
- 9:38Speaker 2: Because who's the other ones?
- 9:40Speaker 6: Well, I mean that's just sensitive.
- 9:43Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm not going to start naming house But then
- 9:46Speaker 5: I was thinking about, well, why have I Well, no, I.
- 9:49Speaker 6: Did name you, but then not only have I seen
- 9:53Speaker 6: your tits?
- 9:53Speaker 5: And now you're reminding me that we've made out I've
- 9:56Speaker 5: never made out with any other housewives.
- 9:58Speaker 6: I mean, it's kind of a stair but we know
- 10:00Speaker 6: a long time.
- 10:01Speaker 1: But the worst part is that when it went right
- 10:04Speaker 1: off of I've never made out with a bra of celebrity, right.
- 10:07Speaker 5: No, I said I've never hooked up. I just our
- 10:09Speaker 5: definition of hooking.
- 10:11Speaker 2: I don't think hook up is making.
- 10:13Speaker 3: It's like how Edwin calls Edwin calls blow jobs sex.
- 10:17Speaker 3: He considered that.
- 10:18Speaker 5: No, I think if you have an orgasm, it's sex.
- 10:22Speaker 3: To mesolute.
- 10:25Speaker 5: Doing a good enough job even if you have an orgasm.
- 10:28Speaker 3: I know, but you could have an orgasm.
- 10:30Speaker 2: But does he always have an orgasm when you blow him?
- 10:32Speaker 3: Yes?
- 10:32Speaker 1: Well, if I I got to do a better job
- 10:36Speaker 1: than well, I learned a trick.
- 10:37Speaker 3: I'll teach it to you later.
- 10:40Speaker 2: No, you're the model.
- 10:42Speaker 3: Oh my gosh.
- 10:42Speaker 1: Okay, So final plead, the fifth is a celebrity question. Well,
- 10:48Speaker 1: so we like to keep you guessing celebrity that you've
- 10:50Speaker 1: gone on a date with or.
- 10:52Speaker 3: Slept with.
- 10:54Speaker 6: Lance pass you slept Do.
- 10:57Speaker 4: You know that we know that you know that Teddy
- 11:01Speaker 4: slept with Matt Damon.
- 11:02Speaker 1: I did well, thanks to you, Tea, which leads me
- 11:07Speaker 1: to a point which gets us into the Daddy Diaries.
- 11:09Speaker 1: And you said in your book that you left some
- 11:12Speaker 1: things out because you had horror about been reading it.
- 11:15Speaker 6: Yes, oh so much.
- 11:17Speaker 1: I mean, that's that's kind of like me when I
- 11:19Speaker 1: was all over every news outlet because Tamra outed I
- 11:23Speaker 1: was a particular relationship.
- 11:24Speaker 3: Well, may or may not have happened.
- 11:25Speaker 2: I didn't lie.
- 11:27Speaker 1: But how do you think you'll go about having conversations
- 11:31Speaker 1: with your kids as they get older.
- 11:33Speaker 5: About things that I've put out there. That's a really
- 11:37Speaker 5: good question. I mean, I don't know, ye too early,
- 11:41Speaker 5: I don't know, But I think that the answer will
- 11:45Speaker 5: come based on what my relationship with them is once
- 11:49Speaker 5: they think.
- 11:49Speaker 2: They're very young right now and it's not going to
- 11:51Speaker 2: affect them.
- 11:52Speaker 4: But Jennifer Lopez just came out in an article recently
- 11:55Speaker 4: yesterday and said that she regrets putting her children in
- 11:58Speaker 4: the public eye because now they're not known for them,
- 12:01Speaker 4: they're known as Jalo's kids.
- 12:03Speaker 5: Well that's why also, I feel like that's why I
- 12:08Speaker 5: still post pictures of Lucy.
- 12:09Speaker 6: I really don't post pictures of better.
- 12:12Speaker 1: I know.
- 12:12Speaker 5: I went the back of his head and there's a
- 12:15Speaker 5: picture of him in the book from the day I
- 12:16Speaker 5: got my Hollywood Star and that to me was kind
- 12:20Speaker 5: of the in my mind the last time that I
- 12:24Speaker 5: kind of want to post him just because of what
- 12:28Speaker 5: you just said.
- 12:29Speaker 6: I mean, I feel like, you know, I want to
- 12:31Speaker 6: post him every day, right, you know you have like
- 12:34Speaker 6: a private right. I have one.
- 12:36Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, family and friends.
- 12:39Speaker 1: You say in your book that if I had a husband,
- 12:42Speaker 1: do you think it's hard.
- 12:44Speaker 3: I mean, I can't even imagine. I know how hard
- 12:46Speaker 3: it is for me.
- 12:47Speaker 1: Yea with even when my husband's traveling and he's doing whatever,
- 12:50Speaker 1: just organizing three nannies.
- 12:53Speaker 3: I do not have three nanni.
- 12:55Speaker 6: If you do, I have no shame.
- 12:56Speaker 3: But here's the thing.
- 12:57Speaker 1: I do notice that that that is something that people
- 12:59Speaker 1: want to throw in your face so often. And I
- 13:00Speaker 1: could hear a tone in your book when you were like,
- 13:04Speaker 1: you almost have to justify that you have capable people
- 13:07Speaker 1: taking care of your kids while you're doing more.
- 13:09Speaker 5: Yes, I mean I feel like I feel like it's
- 13:13Speaker 5: a given that I have help.
- 13:16Speaker 6: I think what.
- 13:16Speaker 5: People don't realize. What I hope that people get from
- 13:20Speaker 5: the book also is how hands on I am.
- 13:23Speaker 6: I definitely okay, good I am. I don't have a
- 13:27Speaker 6: live in nanny, which is important. I was wondering, Yeah,
- 13:30Speaker 6: I don't.
- 13:31Speaker 5: I had a live in baby nurse for both Ben
- 13:33Speaker 5: and Lucy who was the same baby nurse, and she
- 13:35Speaker 5: worked for Anderson.
- 13:36Speaker 6: To Teresa, she's Teresa with an h and Theresa the
- 13:42Speaker 6: other I don't know that audio.
- 13:44Speaker 5: But but I want to be the only one there
- 13:47Speaker 5: at night as much as by the way, I hate
- 13:49Speaker 5: it because Lucy doesn't sleep like Ben does. But I'm
- 13:52Speaker 5: the one that's there, and I want them to know
- 13:55Speaker 5: that this is our family and I'm there and so
- 14:00Speaker 5: come to me, you know. Anyway, So I don't but
- 14:03Speaker 5: and I don't feel the need to apologize for it,
- 14:07Speaker 5: but I do want people to know how involved I am,
- 14:12Speaker 5: and I do every so often, you know. I mean, look,
- 14:14Speaker 5: social media is full of trolls and whatever, and I
- 14:17Speaker 5: get you know, and I'll hear from people being like,
- 14:18Speaker 5: what do you know you have nanny's whatever, But you know, look,
- 14:22Speaker 5: I my mornings are the time where I have three
- 14:26Speaker 5: hours in the morning with Ben every morning and now Lucy,
- 14:30Speaker 5: where I'm getting him ready for school and getting him
- 14:33Speaker 5: and those morning hours are kind of they can be there.
- 14:35Speaker 3: They can be touching, Yes, especially with little ones.
- 14:39Speaker 1: But even if you have help, which I do, yes,
- 14:43Speaker 1: when you are managing a busy schedule, in multiple busy schedules,
- 14:47Speaker 1: and all their classes and their sports and all the things,
- 14:49Speaker 1: and you have.
- 14:49Speaker 6: A job, and you have a job at a lot
- 14:51Speaker 6: five jobs.
- 14:52Speaker 1: But there was a part where you said, you know,
- 14:54Speaker 1: you guys were all at the park. She just stole
- 14:56Speaker 1: my life. You guys were all at the park, and
- 14:59Speaker 1: the other parents had the bathing suits and blah blah blah.
- 15:02Speaker 1: And you're like, if I had a husband, the two
- 15:05Speaker 1: of us could have tagged him, just so you know
- 15:07Speaker 1: I have a husband. My husband never would have thought
- 15:08Speaker 1: of it, right, not for a second. It was a
- 15:12Speaker 1: very eye big moment for me.
- 15:14Speaker 5: I you know what the thing has been for me
- 15:18Speaker 5: in the last year is when Lucy came.
- 15:20Speaker 6: I think it really changed me as a parent.
- 15:25Speaker 5: I felt way more in control when I had just one,
- 15:28Speaker 5: and then when I had two, I not only felt
- 15:31Speaker 5: not I don't want to say I felt out of control,
- 15:34Speaker 5: but I just felt your experience got a little lonelier
- 15:37Speaker 5: for me. I started to feel more vulnerable. And that
- 15:40Speaker 5: day in the park, it was like the sprinklers went off.
- 15:43Speaker 5: I didn't know to have a change of clothes. I
- 15:45Speaker 5: looked around. I'm the only single parent there, I'm the
- 15:48Speaker 5: only gay dad. I just felt like I was on
- 15:49Speaker 5: an island. And I went back to my house and
- 15:51Speaker 5: I cried, and I never and I cried more than
- 15:56Speaker 5: once about somehow it opened up.
- 15:58Speaker 6: It was vulnerability. It was just a trigger.
- 16:01Speaker 4: But it was a touching moment in the book that
- 16:03Speaker 4: you said that I feel less than almost because I'm
- 16:06Speaker 4: a single dad and I don't have the proper, you know,
- 16:10Speaker 4: clothing forbidd It's hot out and he wants to run
- 16:13Speaker 4: through the spring feet or whatever it was, and all
- 16:16Speaker 4: the other mothers were prepared.
- 16:17Speaker 2: Yeah, and you never were prepared again at the next time, exactly.
- 16:20Speaker 6: Yes, Yeah, never make the same mistakes.
- 16:22Speaker 2: Everybody being a parent have no rule book or book.
- 16:26Speaker 4: But it's one of those moments that you put in
- 16:28Speaker 4: the book that I thought, oh my god, so many
- 16:29Speaker 4: people are going to relate to that.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Yeah, And at what point would you introduce somebody to
- 16:33Speaker 1: your kids?
- 16:34Speaker 6: You know, I don't know the answer to that.
- 16:36Speaker 5: I've there's a date that I went on in the
- 16:38Speaker 5: book that was this very random this guy who I
- 16:43Speaker 5: could I was like, wait a minute, this guy's a contender.
- 16:45Speaker 6: And then he said, oh I live I live in
- 16:47Speaker 6: the UK.
- 16:48Speaker 5: And he was leaving the next day and I was
- 16:50Speaker 5: coming back into town and the only time we could
- 16:52Speaker 5: meet was like in the afternoon, and I said, well, look,
- 16:56Speaker 5: I'm alone with my kids. I said, look, I'm going
- 16:59Speaker 5: to be in the park if you want to come
- 17:01Speaker 5: meet me. And so that was a first date and
- 17:04Speaker 5: Ben was running around playing. I was like, no, idea,
- 17:07Speaker 5: this is different. No, he had no idea.
- 17:08Speaker 2: Did you see him again?
- 17:09Speaker 6: Yes? I did. I saw him several times.
- 17:11Speaker 1: Do you still see the guy that asked for you
- 17:13Speaker 1: to post a selfie?
- 17:14Speaker 3: That was a red flag for me.
- 17:16Speaker 6: I know me too. I he's someone that I've known
- 17:19Speaker 6: for a while.
- 17:21Speaker 3: Is he somebody in the public eye?
- 17:23Speaker 6: No?
- 17:23Speaker 1: Okay, no, no, No, he was doing it because he was
- 17:26Speaker 1: obsessed with your fame? Or do you think he was
- 17:28Speaker 1: doing it because he wanted to elevate himself.
- 17:31Speaker 6: I don't know. I think you know.
- 17:33Speaker 5: And I said to him, why is this important to you?
- 17:36Speaker 5: Why does this And he said, I always and I've
- 17:40Speaker 5: known this person for a while and he said, I've
- 17:42Speaker 5: always got a kick out of being on your Instagram
- 17:45Speaker 5: like he was honest about it.
- 17:46Speaker 3: But I think or do you think he was trying
- 17:48Speaker 3: to like claim his territory.
- 17:51Speaker 6: No, he was not, he wasn't.
- 17:52Speaker 2: I felt like he was just being honest.
- 17:54Speaker 4: Now, yeah, you talk about in the book that you
- 17:55Speaker 4: were petrified with monkey pox.
- 17:58Speaker 5: I was, Yeah, like most gay men, certainly in big cities,
- 18:03Speaker 5: but yeah, I was on lockdown last summer.
- 18:06Speaker 6: You got it.
- 18:06Speaker 3: How long did you see?
- 18:07Speaker 6: I got the vaccines?
- 18:09Speaker 2: And then how long after that?
- 18:10Speaker 4: I mean you talked about you were more afraid of
- 18:12Speaker 4: giving it to your children.
- 18:13Speaker 5: Well, that was the thing I felt like, Yeah, if
- 18:17Speaker 5: I was a single, yes, I was not only afraid,
- 18:22Speaker 5: I was put I felt like I would have been
- 18:27Speaker 5: in I had deep shame relating to the idea that,
- 18:32Speaker 5: oh my god, if I was so irresponsible as to
- 18:35Speaker 5: get this because it's something in my control, and then
- 18:38Speaker 5: I gave it to my children.
- 18:40Speaker 6: The shame the idea of that was very heavy to me.
- 18:43Speaker 2: And your mom wouldn't like it either, Well, my mom didn't.
- 18:46Speaker 6: My mom was like, what is with you that you're like?
- 18:49Speaker 6: Is it so hard for you?
- 18:50Speaker 3: I'm upset for a summer?
- 18:52Speaker 6: Well?
- 18:53Speaker 3: Right, what did you say to her?
- 18:54Speaker 2: You're like, well, I'm sexually.
- 18:56Speaker 6: Frustrated, right, Yes, I was very sexually frustrated.
- 18:58Speaker 1: I mean that's a long time actually when all you've
- 19:00Speaker 1: got is an oculus.
- 19:01Speaker 6: Thank you.
- 19:02Speaker 2: Can we please talk about the virtual porn?
- 19:04Speaker 6: Yes? Have you ever seen virtual real? No?
- 19:06Speaker 3: But on the private settings on my son's Yes.
- 19:09Speaker 4: But think twice about Cias because she's got the headphone.
- 19:13Speaker 1: Yes, yes, smart but told on the the dinger, for
- 19:19Speaker 1: lack of a better word, comes in three D form, like.
- 19:23Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean you've got the thing on, you have
- 19:26Speaker 5: this head thing on and then all of a sudden
- 19:29Speaker 5: there's kind of porn happening.
- 19:32Speaker 6: In you and you're a spectator or can you porn where?
- 19:38Speaker 6: Well you can't.
- 19:38Speaker 3: I mean, do you think you're a part of it?
- 19:40Speaker 5: Kind of think you are because if you look down
- 19:44Speaker 5: and it's all from different points of view. So there
- 19:46Speaker 5: are porn for women and there's a man who comes in,
- 19:50Speaker 5: and then you look down and you see the whole
- 19:54Speaker 5: genitalia below you. So my friend Jackie was over and
- 19:58Speaker 5: I put on a porn and she looked down. She
- 20:00Speaker 5: was like, oh my god, I have a dick, Like
- 20:02Speaker 5: she couldn't believe it.
- 20:04Speaker 1: I thought you were talking about Jackie when in the
- 20:06Speaker 1: book when you said Jackie, I thought it was Jackie
- 20:08Speaker 1: from Jersey.
- 20:09Speaker 3: I'm like, I wonder how they got that close.
- 20:12Speaker 4: No, I didn't even know that was possibility. Now I'm
- 20:14Speaker 4: going to have to.
- 20:17Speaker 2: Try for sure.
- 20:18Speaker 1: When Anderson speaking about your mom and sex, Anderson brought
- 20:21Speaker 1: up that you were a top, which I am pretty obvious,
- 20:25Speaker 1: but yes, really okay, I mean yeah, but never a bottom.
- 20:31Speaker 1: Now people want to know have you ever bottomed at all?
- 20:35Speaker 6: People want to know that, Yes, I have, I'm a yes.
- 20:40Speaker 2: I mean haven't we all?
- 20:41Speaker 3: Haven't we all? What bottom? I mean, yeah, I've bottomed.
- 20:46Speaker 3: I mean I didn't go the first time, not because.
- 20:49Speaker 6: You wanted to discussion.
- 20:56Speaker 2: Oh my god, Okay, let's change this conversation.
- 20:58Speaker 3: We might as well.
- 21:00Speaker 6: But sexual before, Oh this is the best. I mean,
- 21:06Speaker 6: this is the best. I was there for this, Tamra
- 21:08Speaker 6: was there for it.
- 21:09Speaker 3: Okay.
- 21:09Speaker 1: So for those of you guys who haven't read the
- 21:11Speaker 1: book yet, you have to read it to get all
- 21:12Speaker 1: the details. Yes, essentially, he had highly recommended that, said
- 21:15Speaker 1: he wanted to do that, said she. She she she
- 21:19Speaker 1: wanted to do a threesome with Andy and her husband
- 21:23Speaker 1: who's never been with a guy before, and then she
- 21:26Speaker 1: ends up showing up to watch what happens.
- 21:28Speaker 3: Like I didn't just show up, she had.
- 21:30Speaker 6: A ticket and she had said she called in the
- 21:32Speaker 6: radio and said.
- 21:33Speaker 2: Did you know she was showing up?
- 21:34Speaker 5: That yes, I did, and she was saying and I said, listen,
- 21:38Speaker 5: just so you know.
- 21:40Speaker 6: This is not gonna happen.
- 21:43Speaker 5: I go, not only am I on lockdown for monkey Pocks?
- 21:47Speaker 6: But yes, I was like, but my parents are the bartenders.
- 21:51Speaker 5: There was so much happening that and I already had
- 21:54Speaker 5: so much trauma relating to Tamra and Vicki coming on together,
- 21:57Speaker 5: which I thought was funny in the book because I
- 21:59Speaker 5: really wrote every bit of the lead up and it's
- 22:02Speaker 5: it's a funny.
- 22:03Speaker 8: Story and including Vicky text rage texting me when I'm
- 22:09Speaker 8: high at a Grateful Dead concert and right, but uh
- 22:15Speaker 8: so they came and it was so funny and I
- 22:19Speaker 8: love this.
- 22:20Speaker 6: I loved it. The Tamra was there and I love.
- 22:22Speaker 5: Being able to kind of share this moment with her
- 22:25Speaker 5: because I said to her, I go, I have to
- 22:26Speaker 5: tell you what's happening. Yes, I go, there's this couple here,
- 22:30Speaker 5: And Tamor was like her mind was so blown and
- 22:34Speaker 5: then she saw them and Tamra then texted me and
- 22:38Speaker 5: said they're still outside waiting for you, and I was
- 22:42Speaker 5: like what And the whole point of it is I'm gay,
- 22:45Speaker 5: Like that is the whole point and almost, yes, I almost, Well,
- 22:52Speaker 5: I did actually mess around with this couple.
- 22:56Speaker 6: It's in my last book, Superficial.
- 22:58Speaker 5: My last diary book is the story of me and
- 23:02Speaker 5: this other couple.
- 23:03Speaker 6: So it is in the realm of possibility.
- 23:05Speaker 2: But it just but it has to feel right.
- 23:07Speaker 6: It has to feel right.
- 23:08Speaker 4: And somebody is that thirsty that they want to come
- 23:11Speaker 4: to you and they want to express you.
- 23:12Speaker 6: I appreciated, appreciate, appreciated.
- 23:17Speaker 2: No, No, Andy, no, because if she's telling me out
- 23:20Speaker 2: in the parking lot out front.
- 23:22Speaker 3: That's where it takes it.
- 23:25Speaker 6: And the husband didn't take a very conservative you know,
- 23:30Speaker 6: he just felt.
- 23:31Speaker 2: Like she controlled him.
- 23:34Speaker 1: Did you just see the Netflix movie, the one where
- 23:36Speaker 1: the two people from the church, the husband and wife,
- 23:39Speaker 1: and they were they were keeping a young.
- 23:42Speaker 6: Man, Oh, the Jerry Fall. Well, it's amazing.
- 23:45Speaker 3: I haven't seen that.
- 23:45Speaker 1: Okay, so good, okay, next question, moving to a little
- 23:52Speaker 1: bit more housewives the way from Yes, why did you
- 23:55Speaker 1: choose Renna and Garcel to be at your Hollywood Walk
- 23:58Speaker 1: of Fame or did you?
- 24:00Speaker 6: Well? No, I did, and it was.
- 24:06Speaker 1: It was.
- 24:08Speaker 5: We We just figured I had a conversation with Bravo
- 24:13Speaker 5: and I knew John Mayer was doing it. I wanted
- 24:17Speaker 5: there to be housewives there. I think OC might have
- 24:23Speaker 5: been in. Well, Beverly Hills was in production too. We
- 24:28Speaker 5: basically no, well no, we basically were like, we want
- 24:31Speaker 5: to do Beverly Hills because there, look, we talked about
- 24:35Speaker 5: like flying someone in or I talked about you know that,
- 24:39Speaker 5: you know, would it be you and VICKI I've known
- 24:42Speaker 5: you the longest stuff pretty much anybody. Yeah, there were
- 24:48Speaker 5: a lot of It meant something to me and I
- 24:50Speaker 5: was like, so then we I think Kyle was shooting
- 24:55Speaker 5: Halloween too, and so then we just thought Rinna and
- 24:59Speaker 5: Garcel will be right, and that's how we chose it.
- 25:01Speaker 3: And you also only told Kyle and one other housewife.
- 25:05Speaker 6: Candy, Candy that I was having that I was having another.
- 25:10Speaker 3: An How would you take that if a housewife didn't
- 25:13Speaker 3: want to.
- 25:14Speaker 5: Share open Well, a housewife is on a reality show
- 25:17Speaker 5: about their lives, yep, right, and I'm not And also
- 25:20Speaker 5: I was also really trying to keep it a secret.
- 25:25Speaker 5: I didn't I was keeping in a secret for the
- 25:27Speaker 5: privacy of my surrogate who lived in New York, and
- 25:31Speaker 5: I just didn't want a friend of mine had a
- 25:34Speaker 5: surrogate and it was known that there was a surrogate,
- 25:38Speaker 5: and the paparazzi started coming at the surg and whatever.
- 25:41Speaker 6: So I was just how did my friend no you.
- 25:45Speaker 2: You said that the surrogate in your book.
- 25:47Speaker 3: It ended up being.
- 25:48Speaker 6: Leaked that, Oh, I don't know somehow US. Yes, I
- 25:53Speaker 6: don't know.
- 25:53Speaker 3: Do you think it was the same leak that said
- 25:55Speaker 3: that you were fired from CNN?
- 25:57Speaker 6: That was just Radar online making shit up.
- 26:00Speaker 3: But wasn't making sure up when they said I was fired,
- 26:03Speaker 3: because it happened the.
- 26:04Speaker 6: Next well, but the US Weekly thing they found out
- 26:07Speaker 6: that I was.
- 26:08Speaker 5: Yeah, So I just didn't want I was really nervous
- 26:12Speaker 5: it would be something that I would tell everyone. I
- 26:14Speaker 5: told everyone the first time, like six weeks before, because
- 26:18Speaker 5: I was just so excited.
- 26:19Speaker 6: And I wanted to and I'm so glad I did
- 26:21Speaker 6: this one.
- 26:21Speaker 5: I wanted to keep undercover and I don't know how
- 26:25Speaker 5: it came up with Kyle and Candy, but.
- 26:26Speaker 3: It did, and did you use the same egg donor.
- 26:31Speaker 6: They are biological siblings.
- 26:33Speaker 3: That's so awesome. And I do think that Lucy's gonna
- 26:35Speaker 3: have blue eyes.
- 26:36Speaker 6: She is the surrogate. The carrier is different because.
- 26:43Speaker 2: It's yes, exactly difference. You said in your book. That
- 26:47Speaker 2: is the Lucy is one of.
- 26:48Speaker 6: The first baby be a surrogate in New York. I
- 26:53Speaker 6: worked really hard to get I was illegal in New York.
- 26:58Speaker 4: Wid you told me that at your be showers, and
- 27:00Speaker 4: I was very shocked to hear that in New York,
- 27:03Speaker 4: a man.
- 27:04Speaker 6: You couldn't do that. Stunning as anyone couldn't do it.
- 27:06Speaker 6: It was illegal, right, And.
- 27:20Speaker 1: Then something that I actually was a little bit confused
- 27:23Speaker 1: about when I was listening to the book and also intrigued.
- 27:25Speaker 6: I love this, by the way. I love it that
- 27:28Speaker 6: you both read this book.
- 27:29Speaker 2: And you are I love that you know this is
- 27:32Speaker 2: the most nerve wracket interview.
- 27:33Speaker 3: We both were like, all right, we got we got
- 27:36Speaker 3: a team.
- 27:38Speaker 2: Really, I really appreciate that for me would have been Candy. Okay,
- 27:43Speaker 2: Candy was really hard interview because she she's so media worldwide.
- 27:49Speaker 3: She's a full sweat.
- 27:50Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, yeah, that was hard. She was hard.
- 27:54Speaker 1: But throughout the book you'll be like, oh, I was
- 27:56Speaker 1: taking notes tonight on the O C or this right,
- 28:00Speaker 1: How involved are you at this point? Because sometimes you'll
- 28:02Speaker 1: hear you say impressed, or maybe it's clicked by like oh,
- 28:05Speaker 1: I don't have anything to do with that, or I
- 28:06Speaker 1: didn't know this person was getting fired or that.
- 28:08Speaker 6: But then with the Housewives, I do.
- 28:10Speaker 3: But Housewives it's everything, yes, not the other show.
- 28:13Speaker 6: The other shows I am not.
- 28:14Speaker 5: I was an EP on vander Pump Rules for the
- 28:16Speaker 5: first maybe eight seasons.
- 28:19Speaker 6: I left when I was in charge of programming and
- 28:22Speaker 6: development at Bravo.
- 28:23Speaker 5: I was an EP of every show on Bravo. When
- 28:26Speaker 5: I when Watch What Happens, I became five days a week.
- 28:28Speaker 5: I stayed and was had still head of development at Bravo,
- 28:33Speaker 5: and we developed Below Deck was one of the last
- 28:36Speaker 5: shows that was Our team did maybe Southern Charm, and
- 28:41Speaker 5: then I left. And when I left my day job
- 28:45Speaker 5: at Bravo, I retained EP on all the Housewives. So
- 28:51Speaker 5: I give notes on every episode of every Housewives show,
- 28:56Speaker 5: and they can my notes have gotten way less. I
- 29:00Speaker 5: look at a later cut now of episodes, and the
- 29:04Speaker 5: later the cut, the.
- 29:05Speaker 6: More finished it is, and so it will.
- 29:10Speaker 5: You know, a lot of times my notes are about
- 29:11Speaker 5: I don't understand that person's motive.
- 29:14Speaker 6: Why did she You know, I'll say, why did Tamera
- 29:19Speaker 6: say that? If that's her friend?
- 29:20Speaker 2: Why one more interview we need?
- 29:25Speaker 5: Yeah exactly? Or the music is it right? Or this
- 29:28Speaker 5: next on is boring? Or change the teas, or there's
- 29:32Speaker 5: a thousand things.
- 29:33Speaker 1: That I call because something I related to in that
- 29:36Speaker 1: in your book is when you kept saying you would
- 29:38Speaker 1: have moments, even with your kids or life, where you'd
- 29:40Speaker 1: get frustrated and you're like, I have this rage or
- 29:44Speaker 1: this anger or whatever, and then I pull it together
- 29:45Speaker 1: and then I'm the nicest human being ever, and the
- 29:47Speaker 1: person at the sandwich shop would be like the hostess
- 29:51Speaker 1: exactly all But what is your patient's level when it
- 29:54Speaker 1: comes to watching housewives?
- 29:55Speaker 5: Because I know now that we are watching Housewives, my
- 29:58Speaker 5: patience level is great, But because I actually still love
- 30:01Speaker 5: the show and it makes me so happy.
- 30:03Speaker 6: Like with o C, I've been and it's part of
- 30:06Speaker 6: the reason why I was. I was. You know, everyone
- 30:09Speaker 6: for so many months was like, where's the trailer, Where's
- 30:11Speaker 6: the trailer? The season must suck. They're doing something here.
- 30:14Speaker 5: I am, you know, and we're so ahead of the
- 30:17Speaker 5: edit schedule because I think the air date wound up
- 30:19Speaker 5: getting moved.
- 30:20Speaker 6: I think it originally was going to be earlier and
- 30:22Speaker 6: then it was later. So here I am deep into
- 30:25Speaker 6: the season and loving it for so many reasons.
- 30:27Speaker 3: You love it?
- 30:28Speaker 6: Yes, Oh, I love it. It's great. It feels like
- 30:31Speaker 6: a return to Fred.
- 30:31Speaker 3: You're able to answer what your favorite franchise is.
- 30:34Speaker 6: No, because they're all they.
- 30:37Speaker 3: It's true that you have they flow different, they do.
- 30:41Speaker 5: Listen sometimes if a season of the Housewives is having
- 30:43Speaker 5: an off season, I may it will be a bummer
- 30:47Speaker 5: for me because I just want them all to be
- 30:50Speaker 5: as successful as they possibly can, and I want every
- 30:52Speaker 5: housewive to be as success.
- 30:54Speaker 2: Can we talk about New York a little bit?
- 30:56Speaker 4: Yeah, because you know a lot of shows you know
- 30:58Speaker 4: have good seasons have been Yes, But what was your
- 31:00Speaker 4: final decision decision? Because you say you're on a plane,
- 31:03Speaker 4: you're making an email or something like that, saying.
- 31:05Speaker 2: I have a great idea. Yes, it's a great idea.
- 31:08Speaker 2: We're going to do a legacy.
- 31:09Speaker 6: We're going to write what why it was New York?
- 31:13Speaker 2: It was that bad?
- 31:14Speaker 6: Well?
- 31:14Speaker 5: No, I think New York was in flux. There was
- 31:17Speaker 5: a question of of the current cast. Look, I don't
- 31:23Speaker 5: want to relitigate why that season didn't work. It was
- 31:25Speaker 5: shot during COVID, there were only five housewives, like it's
- 31:28Speaker 5: to and by the way, right, okay, Well, I would
- 31:32Speaker 5: also argue that it was not as bad as people
- 31:37Speaker 5: you know, like to say that that season of Ronnie.
- 31:41Speaker 6: But I think that it was.
- 31:43Speaker 5: Really at a crossroads in terms of Also there was
- 31:47Speaker 5: clearly a mandate to.
- 31:50Speaker 6: Diversify and represent a more realistic or more current.
- 31:57Speaker 5: Version of what New York is. And we have tried
- 32:00Speaker 5: for so many years to to bring it, yes, but
- 32:05Speaker 5: also to bring some color into New York. And you
- 32:08Speaker 5: can ask the you know, we were always saying to
- 32:10Speaker 5: lu Anne, like, you know, who are your friends of color?
- 32:14Speaker 5: And we were putting people on tape and there were
- 32:17Speaker 5: there were a few very high profile people. One with
- 32:20Speaker 5: someone that Bethany knew and someone that I knew socially
- 32:23Speaker 5: who years ago we almost got and then her husband
- 32:25Speaker 5: kaibashed its no no, but but anyway, we were just
- 32:32Speaker 5: at a major crossroads with Ronie and it felt like
- 32:38Speaker 5: bringing new people in to this.
- 32:44Speaker 6: The women have so much.
- 32:45Speaker 3: History and it just felt sexy trailer I have to do.
- 32:49Speaker 5: But anyway, so getting back to that, it just felt
- 32:52Speaker 5: like it felt dishonest to even try anymore than to
- 32:58Speaker 5: do anything but tell the story of these five women
- 33:03Speaker 5: who just were who they were.
- 33:05Speaker 6: And so that's why I thought, well, let's do too.
- 33:10Speaker 2: Do you think that there's gonna be legacy for other
- 33:13Speaker 2: shows that this works out?
- 33:14Speaker 6: I don't know. I had wanted. I had wanted to
- 33:17Speaker 6: do OC legacy on Peacock a couple years ago.
- 33:24Speaker 5: I talked about it with Sherry Levine and she was
- 33:27Speaker 5: very worried that it would take away from Orange County
- 33:32Speaker 5: as it is right now.
- 33:33Speaker 6: And I think if you look, and I think.
- 33:35Speaker 5: Now, if you look at the fact that you and
- 33:37Speaker 5: Heather are back on Orange County, I think that's and
- 33:41Speaker 5: that Vicky's around, I think that's a really good argument
- 33:44Speaker 5: for not doing OC legacy, you know, And I think so.
- 33:49Speaker 6: I like the idea in a sense, but also, you
- 33:52Speaker 6: don't want to take.
- 33:52Speaker 5: Away from what I would call the mothership, which is
- 33:55Speaker 5: the Real Housewives of Orange County, and I love that
- 33:57Speaker 5: show to its core.
- 33:59Speaker 6: I wouldn't want anything to take away from that lot
- 34:03Speaker 6: of fun.
- 34:04Speaker 5: Yes, and I think it's I think with Rony it's
- 34:07Speaker 5: easier if you're saying, Okay, we're gonna do a totally
- 34:10Speaker 5: nor version.
- 34:12Speaker 6: It's a let's let's swim. Does what worry me?
- 34:16Speaker 4: Having a brand new cast and because like it was
- 34:18Speaker 4: a little rough for a little bit with Bai, Yeah,
- 34:20Speaker 4: I mean, by the way, Dubai season two is so good.
- 34:24Speaker 6: I could get goosebumps thinking about how good it is.
- 34:27Speaker 6: So I think, does it worry me? Of course? Of
- 34:30Speaker 6: course it does.
- 34:31Speaker 5: It's so hard you're introducing six new women, and you know, you,
- 34:37Speaker 5: when you're watching it, you're like, but wait a.
- 34:40Speaker 6: Minute, were's lou Anne.
- 34:41Speaker 1: You know?
- 34:42Speaker 6: So it does. But actually they so stand on their
- 34:47Speaker 6: own and they're so legit.
- 34:48Speaker 5: What I want is I just hope that people will
- 34:53Speaker 5: not discount it based on one episode.
- 34:56Speaker 6: You you've gotta go on the ya season two and
- 35:01Speaker 6: then season two when it.
- 35:02Speaker 5: Really gels and they know because you know, you, you know,
- 35:07Speaker 5: people kind of become housewives in a weird way.
- 35:10Speaker 6: Well now, I mean I would.
- 35:10Speaker 5: I am. Caroline Stanbury and chanel Ian were born housewives.
- 35:15Speaker 1: I mean they just do you know all the fights
- 35:18Speaker 1: we created in Bravocon between the Dubai Housewives speak for yourself.
- 35:23Speaker 3: Oh you were that, you were a part of it too.
- 35:25Speaker 1: I mean it was a lot, so I can only
- 35:28Speaker 1: imagine it's going to be an explosive season.
- 35:31Speaker 6: It's really good.
- 35:32Speaker 3: The conversations I had with Chanel and Carolyn Brooks.
- 35:36Speaker 5: Yes, well, I'm very excited about that. But also I'm
- 35:40Speaker 5: really excited about Ronnie. I think it's I think it's great,
- 35:43Speaker 5: and I think the other children. I'm excited.
- 35:46Speaker 6: You're gonna die when you see Luanna and Sonya. Welcome
- 35:50Speaker 6: to Crappy Lake. Is so funny. It airs in July.
- 35:54Speaker 6: It is and by the way, I have nothing to
- 35:57Speaker 6: do with it. It is so funny.
- 36:00Speaker 5: I laughed out loud. So and I'm not a big
- 36:02Speaker 5: laugh out loud guy. I was howling at this show.
- 36:07Speaker 6: Yeah, she is.
- 36:09Speaker 4: Yeah, do you see that being in the future for
- 36:12Speaker 4: other like let's take I don't, no, I don't know,
- 36:16Speaker 4: I don't, I don't.
- 36:18Speaker 3: I'm not like Vicky.
- 36:19Speaker 4: I don't have jealousy of a question about So this
- 36:25Speaker 4: has nothing to do with your book question. Yes, so
- 36:28Speaker 4: Real House of New York.
- 36:29Speaker 2: They already have commercials on Bravo and they are two
- 36:33Speaker 2: months from area.
- 36:34Speaker 6: You're asking why there aren't.
- 36:37Speaker 5: I think because this is a brand new show completely,
- 36:41Speaker 5: we have to introduce six new women. We have to
- 36:44Speaker 5: get people's head around the idea that this is. You know,
- 36:50Speaker 5: I know, but you've you know, you're you promote yourself,
- 36:53Speaker 5: you know what I mean.
- 36:55Speaker 2: So that's why I knew that was gonna be your answer.
- 36:58Speaker 6: Yeah, well then you know, but I just wanted to know,
- 37:01Speaker 6: And then I wanted.
- 37:02Speaker 1: To know who would you say, of all time, your
- 37:04Speaker 1: favorite house husband and your least favorite house husband talk
- 37:09Speaker 1: about the house husband's much in the.
- 37:10Speaker 5: Book, No, I don't my I mean, I think Joe
- 37:15Speaker 5: Gorga has always been very funny on the show.
- 37:18Speaker 6: He just cracks me up.
- 37:19Speaker 7: Uh.
- 37:20Speaker 5: And I think that the husband of Amber, who was
- 37:25Speaker 5: on the one bad season of Jersey. It was that
- 37:28Speaker 5: transition season with the twins and Amber her.
- 37:32Speaker 3: Husband had the issues on the plane. Not a good
- 37:34Speaker 3: Oh yeah, he's worse some Brooks.
- 37:39Speaker 6: I mean, Brooks was not really a husband.
- 37:41Speaker 3: By the way. He's remarried. We just learned good.
- 37:45Speaker 4: So talking about Miami, we were talking about them minute ago.
- 37:49Speaker 4: What made you guys decide to put him back on Bravo?
- 37:52Speaker 6: I don't know, I don't think it matters, and people
- 37:56Speaker 6: were like, yay, we won, it's back on Bravo. I'm like,
- 37:58Speaker 6: who cares where it is? No, I mean they didn't.
- 38:01Speaker 3: I don't know. I like streaming better.
- 38:03Speaker 6: Yeah, right, I do too.
- 38:04Speaker 5: Actually, I was like, why are we Yeah exactly, so
- 38:08Speaker 5: you know, you'll obviously still be able to watch it
- 38:10Speaker 5: on Peacock.
- 38:11Speaker 6: But I I was, uh, I don't know.
- 38:14Speaker 2: Do you think Housewives will eventually go to Peacock?
- 38:18Speaker 6: I don't know. I don't think it matters.
- 38:20Speaker 2: So what is it now?
- 38:21Speaker 6: So they air on and then I think the next day, yeah,
- 38:25Speaker 6: I think so.
- 38:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 38:26Speaker 1: But when we talk you talked a lot about not
- 38:29Speaker 1: a lot, but you talked about marysol a little bit
- 38:31Speaker 1: about how much you like her and when you came
- 38:33Speaker 1: to Miami she's the person that you were.
- 38:35Speaker 3: But then I was wondering. I was like, if he
- 38:37Speaker 3: likes her so much?
- 38:39Speaker 6: Because we wanted to.
- 38:40Speaker 5: We felt strongly that if we brought it back, we
- 38:43Speaker 5: wanted you. You want people to connect with the show
- 38:47Speaker 5: that they loved, the nostalgia of the show that they loved,
- 38:50Speaker 5: But you're trying to build a show that will last
- 38:54Speaker 5: for the future, and so you need as much new
- 38:57Speaker 5: blood as possible, and we that.
- 39:02Speaker 6: Was the call we made.
- 39:03Speaker 5: And I think the more people on any show the
- 39:08Speaker 5: better in a sense. And also it just seemed like, yeah,
- 39:14Speaker 5: I just think and you know, Marisol has said that
- 39:19Speaker 5: she felt so much lighter as a friend, she felt
- 39:22Speaker 5: less responsibility.
- 39:24Speaker 6: She could come in and out.
- 39:25Speaker 2: She is, but we're not to admit I thought about
- 39:28Speaker 2: coming back as a friend.
- 39:29Speaker 5: Well, I mean, it's like it it's there is a
- 39:31Speaker 5: pressure off of you when you come out as a friend.
- 39:34Speaker 5: And I thought it's one of the reasons why I
- 39:36Speaker 5: think Vicki works so well this season. She can drop in,
- 39:40Speaker 5: she can be herself, she can leave.
- 39:42Speaker 4: It's not Do you think maybe we can have her
- 39:44Speaker 4: back next year as a friends?
- 39:47Speaker 6: I think yes.
- 39:48Speaker 2: I think she's really good as a friend.
- 39:49Speaker 3: I do too.
- 39:50Speaker 6: I wonder what she yeah, exactly.
- 39:54Speaker 3: Next question, which is.
- 39:57Speaker 1: There's a couple Housewives that we've heard say I'll never
- 40:00Speaker 1: film with this person again. And we just saw the
- 40:02Speaker 1: article I think it was on People magazine.
- 40:05Speaker 5: Says that you know how that works because it's never
- 40:08Speaker 5: really worked on Housewives. Rules is not the Housewives, and
- 40:14Speaker 5: I'm not an EP of that show, so I have
- 40:17Speaker 5: nothing really, you know, it's I'm sure they're all talking
- 40:20Speaker 5: about that right now.
- 40:22Speaker 6: But I think with the Housewives, it doesn't work. It
- 40:25Speaker 6: never worked. You know, we had we had a situation
- 40:28Speaker 6: with I remember on early there were early Rony situations
- 40:36Speaker 6: where it was like I won't be with this person,
- 40:38Speaker 6: and it's like, well you don't and.
- 40:40Speaker 1: You're not on the show group yeah, because we had
- 40:42Speaker 1: we had Marisol and Alexia Alexia Alexia on and they
- 40:47Speaker 1: said they refused to film with Adriana, and I was like.
- 40:49Speaker 3: I think that's bullshit, right, I think, like I like,
- 40:53Speaker 3: show up and go or don't be on the show.
- 40:55Speaker 4: Right, Well, you can maybe go into it that season
- 40:57Speaker 4: thinking you're not going to, but eventually you have to.
- 40:59Speaker 2: Yeah, right, I mean it's inevitable that you have to, right,
- 41:02Speaker 2: you have to.
- 41:02Speaker 1: All Right, y'all, this is so good. We've decided we're
- 41:06Speaker 1: going to make it a two parter and we come back.
- 41:09Speaker 1: We're going to discuss camera
