  time. Mike, Let's look ahead to the weekend. Here Boston College team

  that is currently ranked fourth in the country. A lot of Hockey East teams

  are ranked. Boy, this is a phenomenal year for the conference so far.

  It is. Yeah. I was talking about it with a couple coaches.

  I talked about it with Scotti Borock the other day when they came in

  on Thursday to practice. How there's just no easy nights, you know,

  you don't get a break. Is It's a grind every night and that's the

  way it should be though. That's the fun part about playing in this league.

  Yeah. I think last year Merrimack might have been the team that surprised

  everybody getting on the radar based on pre season rankings. New Hampshire and Maine

  are suddenly making noise and mains in the top ten now at this point.

  So it just speaks to every year there are teams that are going to work

  their way up and exceed expectations. Yeah, and there's still a lot of

  hockey to be played. So and we learned that last year. You know,

  I think we started off maybe nine to one in one or something.

  So it is a lot of hockey to be played. You just have to

  keep the thing about this league, and it's so hard is you just really

  have to stay focused on just the next game in hand, because it just
• 1:23
  becomes overwhelming if you just start looking at the schedule. We get them this

  week and these guys have following week, and yeah, you know, you
• 1:32
  drive yourself mad. So you just stay focused on the next game you're playing.

  All right, what have you seen so far about BC? Either seven

  too and one gay prol I'm gonna guess he's a defenseman, two goals thirteen.

  We know about Cutter Goach, We know about Colby Ambrosio. He hasn't

  gone anywhere. It seems like they if I remember right, they had they
• 1:51
  have a very good freshman classif Paro's actually a forward. Paros, Smith and
• 1:56
  Leonard were aligned for the national program last year. They're all first round draft
• 2:01
  picks. You know, Cutters a first round draft pick, and they get
• 2:05
  a freshman goalie who is I think a third round draft pick. They're littered
• 2:08
  with a lot of future NHL talent, super skilled, So it's gonna be
• 2:15
  a game that we're gonna have to come really. You know, this is

  a game where you have to manage a puck. You can't turn it over
• 2:23
  five feet either side of the blue liner. It's going to come back and

  hurt you. So it's something that will certainly be a focal point of practice

  this week managing the puck. Well. Of those players, Will Smith was
• 2:35
  the highest of the drafted. He was drafted fourth overall, highest drafted player
• 2:38
  in Boston college history. What makes him so special. He's a great skater,
• 2:43
  He's slick with the puck. He can score, he can shoot it
• 2:46
  by the goaltender, he can makes great passes. He's just an all around
• 2:53
  really skilled player. Yeah, Mike, what about their special teams? Well,
• 2:57
  he had two power plays that are deadly. You know, on one
• 3:00
  they have got to the ripping pucks on a flank and on the next one
• 3:04
  they have Ryan Leonard ripping pucks on a flank. So you know they've they've
• 3:08
  got a lot of skill. And that's another area where you know, we
• 3:14
  can't afford to take penalties like we took the other night. It's just we
• 3:19
  won't be given our team a chance to fair chance to win. It'll be
• 3:23
  really difficult to win if we're taking eight penalties against that club seven and one.

  So there haven't been too many missteps for them. But have you seen
• 3:30
  moments where their freshmen look like freshmen or have they stepped up and just played
• 3:36
  great? They've played at such a high level for a long time. I

  don't think that's the issue. But like anybody else, it's it's a team

  game, and you know we'll be looking forward to the challenge, that's for

  sure. Yeah, they've had a lot of home games as well. Michael.

  If I remember right, this is Hall of Fame weekend for the NHL,

  and I know you've been up to Toronto, Jerry, right, it

  did go a couple of years ago. Yeah, I did. That's a

  fun weekend. I've been up there once and it was a pretty good class

  spork coffee, Murphy, Cliff Letcher, and then of course my friend Chuck

  Kayton was in inducted, got the Foster Huete Award. That was a fun

  time. Yeah, it was. It was a great night. I remember

  going up It was a Monday night, yep, and we went up and

  it was just such a special It's such a special place to begin with.

  But then to watch a guy that you worked for for eighteen years be the

  only college guy ever going to the National Hockey League Hall of Fame, it

  was it was a really fun, cool night. Did you get a chance

  to walk around the hall? Oh? Yeah, yeah, it was Uh,

  I'd been there before. Yeah, it's a yeah. I'm going back

  into great December, great spot for this induction class. Tom Brosso, Ken
