- 1:04Speaker 3: on the Sporting News. League College writer, National College and
- 1:06Speaker 3: NFL Writer.
- 1:07Speaker 4: Bill. Welcome in, sir, How are you.
- 1:09Speaker 5: Hey, Jacob Bill Well, thanks for having me on.
- 1:11Speaker 4: Bill appreciates you as always.
- 1:13Speaker 3: All right, Bill, have you digested this this Louisiana judge
- 1:17Speaker 3: and this ruling yesterday with these NFL players being able
- 1:19Speaker 3: to come back to college.
- 1:22Speaker 5: I'm just looking at some of it before it came on,
- 1:25Speaker 5: and it's messy. You know, when you have thirteen players
- 1:27Speaker 5: that were on NFL rosters in preseason camps that are
- 1:31Speaker 5: trying to get into the portal or in the portal
- 1:34Speaker 5: based on this tros really interesting stuff. And I don't
- 1:39Speaker 5: it's messy because it's almost like practice squad free agent
- 1:44Speaker 5: guys popping into college football right now. And I don't,
- 1:48Speaker 5: you know, I think one way they should have done
- 1:50Speaker 5: this in retrospect, and you know, nothing's perfect times. It's
- 1:53Speaker 5: twenty twenty. But Jack, why didn't they just when they
- 1:56Speaker 5: went to the five for five things, why not have
- 1:59Speaker 5: just said right, it's bad. There's an exception for twenty
- 2:01Speaker 5: twenty two guys. And but they maybe have given him
- 2:06Speaker 5: a deadline or something, say by this day you have
- 2:08Speaker 5: to declare you going NFL or you going college, kind
- 2:11Speaker 5: of like what the NBA does. It's created yet another
- 2:14Speaker 5: mess I can't wait till these guys get on the field,
- 2:17Speaker 5: because these messages just keep piling up off the field.
- 2:21Speaker 4: No, I agree with you and you know it. Just
- 2:23Speaker 4: I have so many questions with this.
- 2:25Speaker 3: I'm assuming, based on the literature I read yesterday, you
- 2:28Speaker 3: don't have to go back to the school you were at.
- 2:30Speaker 3: You can, you know, at least for a week. So
- 2:32Speaker 3: what happens if Kurt Signetti and I'm just using Indiana
- 2:35Speaker 3: as the national champions decides, hey, let you we need
- 2:37Speaker 3: a linebacker. Let's go get that guy right there, and
- 2:40Speaker 3: they've already got a full allotment. Does that mean somebody
- 2:42Speaker 3: gets cut? What if school has already started. It seems
- 2:46Speaker 3: like there's a lot of hurdles here for general managers
- 2:48Speaker 3: and coaches to go through.
- 2:50Speaker 5: Right there are. And again, you had a player that
- 2:52Speaker 5: had two sacks in a preseason game last week and
- 2:55Speaker 5: he's trying to get back to college. It's it's really
- 2:58Speaker 5: strange stuff. It makes it hard to break down the teams.
- 3:01Speaker 5: And yeah, I mean, I don't know what the answer
- 3:03Speaker 5: to your question is. I'm not sure you know what's
- 3:06Speaker 5: stopping them from doing that, Because maybe it can happen
- 3:09Speaker 5: and you'll see some of these guys on the field
- 3:11Speaker 5: or maybe they'll maybe they won't. It really is another
- 3:15Speaker 5: wrinkle where we're playing a lot of things out in
- 3:19Speaker 5: the courtroom this offseason, and it's made it very confusing.
- 3:22Speaker 5: But again, I think this will be a one year
- 3:24Speaker 5: deal because the five for five will take effect after
- 3:27Speaker 5: that and then you have your five years of eligibility.
- 3:30Speaker 5: It's gonna change the way teams use the portal. I
- 3:32Speaker 5: think it's gonna change the way teams recruit. You may
- 3:35Speaker 5: see some smaller recruiting classes. You may see an uptick
- 3:39Speaker 5: and improvement in FCS and Division two football. So I
- 3:43Speaker 5: think the long term benefits of five for five outweigh
- 3:47Speaker 5: this blip. And then I'm not underscoring this blip at all.
- 3:52Speaker 5: It's a big one and we're gonna have some things
- 3:54Speaker 5: to figure out where the season starts.
- 3:56Speaker 4: Bill Bender joining us. He is with the Sporting News.
- 3:59Speaker 3: Make sure to find him on exit Billbinder ninety two
- 4:01Speaker 3: also the Sporting News as well.
- 4:02Speaker 4: Bill. One more question on this, and I want to
- 4:04Speaker 4: move to a piece.
- 4:04Speaker 3: You guys put out ranking college football coaching hires for
- 4:07Speaker 3: twenty twenty six the NFL.
- 4:11Speaker 4: We've never seen this. Can a player be drafted twice?
- 4:13Speaker 3: Meaning if you were, say a seventh round pick this
- 4:16Speaker 3: past year, you go back to college this year. Can
- 4:19Speaker 3: you re enter the draft in the spring, or do
- 4:21Speaker 3: we even know.
- 4:23Speaker 5: But didn't Bo Jackson get drafted twice technically or you
- 4:28Speaker 5: may have to go back and listen the thing. We're
- 4:29Speaker 5: going have to go back and look that up. Where
- 4:31Speaker 5: like Al Davis took a flyer on bow later after
- 4:35Speaker 5: he was taken with the number one pick and sat out. So,
- 4:37Speaker 5: I mean, maybe it's not the first time, but it's
- 4:40Speaker 5: certainly the first time in this era where things happen
- 4:44Speaker 5: like that, and it creates confusion on the NFL level.
- 4:48Speaker 5: I mean, it's kind of like the NBA. I liked
- 4:50Speaker 5: how the NBA used to do it where you could
- 4:52Speaker 5: test the draft. Well, now they have agents anyway. But
- 4:58Speaker 5: you know, once the Bettioco case basketball with Alabama last year, right,
- 5:01Speaker 5: that showed that once you play in the G League,
- 5:04Speaker 5: you can't play college basketball technically. He did play a
- 5:07Speaker 5: couple of games. I think he averaged like you would
- 5:09Speaker 5: do this you were in the middle of the SEC.
- 5:11Speaker 5: I think he averaged like ten and seven. Yeah, but
- 5:14Speaker 5: I hope it doesn't come to football. It's just going
- 5:16Speaker 5: to create a larger mess.
- 5:18Speaker 3: Bill You guys did another great piece on the Sporting
- 5:20Speaker 3: News ranking the Coaches of twenty twenty six. I want
- 5:23Speaker 3: to talk about some of these coaches as it pertains
- 5:25Speaker 3: to their program. Grated, James Franklin and A minus. I
- 5:28Speaker 3: don't have a problem with this. I thought Virginia Tech
- 5:30Speaker 3: picked up a heck of a coach for James Franklin.
- 5:33Speaker 3: This is a place where he can reboot his career
- 5:35Speaker 3: and a place where I think he can go win
- 5:37Speaker 3: and maybe depended on you know what, they're allotment of
- 5:40Speaker 3: cash and thanks to that nature could put Virginia Tech
- 5:43Speaker 3: back on the map in the ACC.
- 5:45Speaker 5: Yeah, you know, I think James Franklin will do well there.
- 5:48Speaker 5: Bill Trochy did that piece he ranked the believe didn'y
- 5:50Speaker 5: ranked the seventeen power for coach changings in college football,
- 5:56Speaker 5: ranging from you know, James Franklin to Pat Fitzgerald and
- 5:59Speaker 5: everything in between. Yeah, I'm hoping that for James Franklin.
- 6:02Speaker 5: I think what he did at Penn State was out
- 6:03Speaker 5: of standing. I was at the beginning of the end
- 6:06Speaker 5: the Oregon lost last year. One thing to remember though,
- 6:10Speaker 5: with James Franklin, he knows how to recruits. He knows
- 6:14Speaker 5: he did that at Vanderbilt. You know, Vanderbilt won games
- 6:16Speaker 5: when he was there. He won double digit games at
- 6:18Speaker 5: Penn State several times. He recruited Saquon Barkley and Michael Parsons,
- 6:23Speaker 5: so there's a lot to like. I do think Virginia
- 6:25Speaker 5: Tech will see it a renaissance. I don't want to
- 6:29Speaker 5: push him up too far this year, but we have
- 6:31Speaker 5: him on the outskirts in the top twenty five, and
- 6:33Speaker 5: they're right there with their in state rival, Virginia, who's
- 6:37Speaker 5: going to try to build on last year's appearance in
- 6:41Speaker 5: the ACC Championship game under Tony Elliott.
- 6:45Speaker 3: We haven't talked a lot about Penn State, and obviously
- 6:48Speaker 3: Penn State's in the news for all the wrong reasons
- 6:49Speaker 3: right now with some fraternity issues going on up there.
- 6:52Speaker 3: But Penn State now with Matt Campbell, who was you
- 6:57Speaker 3: know what ten years ago, one of the hottest names
- 6:59Speaker 3: in college foot correct me from wrong. I believe he
- 7:01Speaker 3: was listed as a possible candidate for you know, Ohio
- 7:04Speaker 3: State back in twenty twenty twenty twenty one. In some
- 7:07Speaker 3: other places as well. Hey finally gets the big job
- 7:10Speaker 3: at Penn State, brings over quarterback, brings over a lot
- 7:13Speaker 3: of guys. Are we under selling Penn State? In year
- 7:17Speaker 3: one under Matt Campbell.
- 7:18Speaker 5: Well, I mean not really because of the schedule. I
- 7:21Speaker 5: mean they don't play Oregon, they don't play O High State,
- 7:24Speaker 5: they don't play Indiana. Yeah, you mentioned there. Ten State's
- 7:28Speaker 5: definitely on my timeline right now, but not for the
- 7:30Speaker 5: right reasons. But I think on the football fields with
- 7:34Speaker 5: Matt Campbell, they're gonna do okay. And I like the
- 7:38Speaker 5: Iowa State transfers. I don't you know, I've been asked
- 7:41Speaker 5: a lot this summer and I can't really give you
- 7:43Speaker 5: a great answer of what's that going to look like
- 7:46Speaker 5: in the Big Ten when you have twenty plus players
- 7:48Speaker 5: from Iowa State. I can tell you my first guest
- 7:51Speaker 5: is I've watched them go to toe to toe with
- 7:53Speaker 5: Iowa over the years, and Iowa has tough defense as anybody.
- 7:56Speaker 5: They always play close games. Matt Campbell knows how to
- 7:59Speaker 5: coach and the Big Ten style, and Rock Go Becks
- 8:02Speaker 5: has played a ton of football. So the pieces are
- 8:05Speaker 5: there for Iowa State to have a successful season or not.
- 8:08Speaker 5: Iowa State, Penn State, Sorry Iowa stayed. All those guys left.
- 8:12Speaker 5: It might be a little tougher road for Jimmy Rodgers.
- 8:17Speaker 3: Eric Morris from North Texas to Oklahoma State. Man, what
- 8:21Speaker 3: a you know, what a run he's been on. And
- 8:24Speaker 3: he's you know, brought a lot of guys over there
- 8:26Speaker 3: as well from from North Texas.
- 8:29Speaker 4: That was a two win team.
- 8:30Speaker 3: It just hated to see the way it ended for
- 8:32Speaker 3: Mike Gundy at Oklahoma State. Could he reboot this program
- 8:35Speaker 3: in one year?
- 8:37Speaker 5: I think so. I talked to Eric Morris a couple
- 8:40Speaker 5: of years ago about a feature on TM WARD and
- 8:42Speaker 5: I left that conversation like, man, I don't think that
- 8:45Speaker 5: does well, you know what I mean. I'm not gonna
- 8:46Speaker 5: sit here and say, oh yeah, I knew he was
- 8:48Speaker 5: going to be a huge coach or anything, but I
- 8:51Speaker 5: just liked his way. You could tell you new quarterbacks,
- 8:54Speaker 5: a little bit of a quarterback whisperer with Messa Maker
- 8:57Speaker 5: and Ward recruited John Mattier to Washington State. He got
- 9:01Speaker 5: some good credentials for sure. So I think Eric Morris
- 9:05Speaker 5: is a guy I'm in joint. I saw the story
- 9:07Speaker 5: about him shooting in Armadillo, feel bad for the Armadillo,
- 9:10Speaker 5: But he's definitely got a little bit of that character
- 9:14Speaker 5: and colorfulness that Mike Gundy had. So I'm glad we
- 9:17Speaker 5: still have that in Stillwater as well. They also picked
- 9:20Speaker 5: up Till Hawkins, the guy that had twenty plus touchdowns
- 9:23Speaker 5: at North Texas last year. So I'm looking forward to
- 9:26Speaker 5: see how that offense does. I know they play Oregon
- 9:29Speaker 5: and week two, so let's hope it's a little bit
- 9:31Speaker 5: different story than last time they played Oregon when the
- 9:33Speaker 5: Ducks put sixty nine points on them.
- 9:36Speaker 3: Let's finish it up with a big with the Sporting
- 9:37Speaker 3: News Bill, Well, appreciate your time. Let's jump into the SEC.
- 9:40Speaker 3: I don't pretend to know the inner workings of Arkansas
- 9:43Speaker 3: Razorback Athletics. We know that they got a ton of
- 9:45Speaker 3: money that they put towards basketball baseball. I would assume football.
- 9:49Speaker 4: Is the same.
- 9:50Speaker 3: Ryan Silverfield though fifty to twenty four coming over from Memphis,
- 9:54Speaker 3: he comes over, wasn't probably the first choice there. The Hogs,
- 9:58Speaker 3: by most accounts, are rated to the worst team in
- 10:00Speaker 3: the SEC and the biggest uphill battle to climb. Can
- 10:04Speaker 3: he win at Arkansas? And about win, I mean, can
- 10:07Speaker 3: he get them back to respectability.
- 10:09Speaker 5: I mean, that's that's the hope. And you know they've
- 10:12Speaker 5: been respectable in the past and it's been a little
- 10:15Speaker 5: bit of a tough road, but I think three really
- 10:17Speaker 5: good American coaches, American Conference coaches came to the league.
- 10:21Speaker 5: He's won Galish at Auburn and then summer all at Florida,
- 10:26Speaker 5: And so when you hire good coaches, I think and
- 10:28Speaker 5: Ryan Silverfield is good Against those guys in the American Conference.
- 10:32Speaker 5: They're gonna throw, They're gonna score a lot of points.
- 10:34Speaker 5: They're gonna try to That's what Memphis did. And I think,
- 10:37Speaker 5: you know, on the Arkansas side, and when I've watched
- 10:39Speaker 5: them in recent seasons, they just didn't have much of
- 10:41Speaker 5: a presence on the defensive side of the ball. Couldn't
- 10:43Speaker 5: stop anybody. So it will be interesting to see how
- 10:46Speaker 5: they climb that. They're right in that bottom tier of
- 10:50Speaker 5: the SEC. And it is a program that's had success
- 10:52Speaker 5: in the past, so we'll see. I mean, I think
- 10:55Speaker 5: some of it is that nil stuff you just talked
- 10:57Speaker 5: about it. I mean, they have the basketball program with
- 10:59Speaker 5: cal Party, the baseball program super successful, right. I don't
- 11:02Speaker 5: know as much about baseball, sorry, but I'm sure they're
- 11:05Speaker 5: pretty good. And you know, we'll see if they can
- 11:08Speaker 5: get it on the football field.
- 11:10Speaker 3: Make sure to get him on X and check them out.
- 11:12Speaker 3: At the Sporting News. He is Bill Bender. Bill, I
- 11:14Speaker 3: hope you have a great weekend. Let's talk next week.
- 11:16Speaker 3: We'll actually have football to talk about.
- 11:18Speaker 5: I can't wait. Yeah, we'll talk about some week zero
- 11:20Speaker 5: games next week. Thanks so much, Jake, I'll talk to
- 11:22Speaker 5: you then. Appreciate it.

- 12:55Speaker 3: jumping in, Rappie Lasparza will join us in the next segment. Recently,
- 13:00Speaker 3: developments courtesy of Pro Football Talk could open the door
- 13:03Speaker 3: for I can't believe I'm able to say this, Diego
- 13:07Speaker 3: Pavia to play college football for another season. If he'd
- 13:10Speaker 3: like to sue to make it happen. I would assume
- 13:13Speaker 3: if Diego Pavia can get back to college football, he will.
- 13:16Speaker 3: I would assume that he will.
- 13:17Speaker 4: That is just interesting.
- 13:19Speaker 3: SMU quarterback Kevin Jennings continues progressing from a jammed index
- 13:23Speaker 3: finger on his throwing hand. On Wednesday yesterday, he went
- 13:26Speaker 3: through seven on seven drills, throwing four straight touchdowns.
- 13:30Speaker 4: Quote look great.
- 13:31Speaker 3: Jennings has not shown any lingering effects and should be
- 13:34Speaker 3: ready for the Week one start against Florida State on
- 13:38Speaker 3: the road on September seventh. Also ros Stellinger, we may
- 13:43Speaker 3: get into this today, if not tomorrow. With the latest
- 13:46Speaker 3: the Protect College Sports I can't believe we're still talking
- 13:48Speaker 3: Protect College Sports Act.
- 13:50Speaker 4: This thing is dead. It's not, but they're going to
- 13:53Speaker 4: keep talking about it.
- 13:54Speaker 3: Expect modifications, possibly to the anti expansion provision, which fired
- 13:59Speaker 3: up a bunch of ACC schools and contributed to the
- 14:02Speaker 3: failed vote attempt. So they're trying to reshuffle this thing,
- 14:07Speaker 3: repackage this thing. It's never gonna go through. We're just
- 14:10Speaker 3: gonna continue to spin wheels here with this thing. Also,
- 14:12Speaker 3: Brent Venables and Oklahoma had football coach Have of Ventables
- 14:17Speaker 3: and the Sooners have agreed on a six year contract
- 14:20Speaker 3: extension courtesy of Pete Nkos. The deal averages ten point
- 14:23Speaker 3: five million dollars. And again, this is a coach that
- 14:29Speaker 3: by all accounts ten million plus a year, with two
- 14:33Speaker 3: hundred thousand dollars increases in each of the remaining five years.
- 14:36Speaker 3: He'll make eleven million dollars on the final year of
- 14:38Speaker 3: the contract.
- 14:40Speaker 4: They're gonna have to win.
- 14:41Speaker 3: I mean a granted they were a college football playoff
- 14:43Speaker 3: team last year, but Venables to a you know a
- 14:48Speaker 3: larger degree if you if you stacked Venables at Oklahoma
- 14:52Speaker 3: and Kaitlyn to Board Alabama. Both are coaches who should
- 14:56Speaker 3: be safe, but if they have a year where the
- 14:58Speaker 3: tires blow out, their fan base is gonna lose it.
- 15:02Speaker 3: And I don't know how safe they are, and both
- 15:04Speaker 3: assigned contracts extensions this year in the off season. Speaking
- 15:08Speaker 3: of Alabama, a leader has emerged in the quarterback race
- 15:11Speaker 3: between Keelon Russell and Austin Mack and we'll get into
- 15:15Speaker 3: that as Keelon Russell looks to be pulling away as
- 15:18Speaker 3: the starting quarterback for the Alabama Crimson Tide. And again,
- 15:21Speaker 3: if you missed it, courtesy of the Magnolia Tribune and others. M. M.
- 15:25Speaker 3: Roberts Stadium at Southern Miss have affectionately referred to as
- 15:29Speaker 3: the Rock on the campus. Southern Miss is getting a
- 15:31Speaker 3: new name under a new faculty naming deal or facility
- 15:35Speaker 3: naming deal. The Institutions of Higher Learning Board has approved
- 15:38Speaker 3: a facility naming agreement between Southern Miss and Renaissance Bank
- 15:45Speaker 3: for approximately ten years and changing the name of the
- 15:49Speaker 3: Rock to Renaissance Stadium. Surely to God, they're gonna still
- 15:53Speaker 3: call it the Rock. But I mean, if Renaissance paying
- 15:56Speaker 3: for it, I said, what is it the Renaissance Rock.
- 15:58Speaker 3: I mean, I have no idea how they're gonna do this,
- 16:00Speaker 3: but souther myth is gonna get a large sum of
- 16:02Speaker 3: money out of this.
- 16:04Speaker 4: And again, you know, if.
- 16:05Speaker 3: You're a fan of Southern miss and you're not happy
- 16:08Speaker 3: about this, or if you think this is dumb, that
- 16:11Speaker 3: this is what these teams are having to do, these
- 16:12Speaker 3: programs are having to do survive is naming rights deals.
- 16:17Speaker 3: And I've said this before. Some high schools in the
- 16:21Speaker 3: state are already doing this. Not many, but some high
- 16:26Speaker 3: schools are looking to raise more money and to build
- 16:30Speaker 3: facilities from weight rooms to volleyball courts, to pick this,
- 16:35Speaker 3: pick that, gymnasiums, baseball fields, upgrades here, lighting turf, all
- 16:39Speaker 3: the stuff. The way to do it, well, let me
- 16:42Speaker 3: say this, the way not to do it booster club
- 16:45Speaker 3: people is to raise your rates on what you're already selling,
- 16:49Speaker 3: because then you're gonna price yourself out of the market.
- 16:51Speaker 3: You know, if you're going to ex business and you're
- 16:53Speaker 3: charging ten grand to be on the jumbo tron, well
- 16:55Speaker 3: you don't go to twenty grand. You're gonna knock yourself out.
- 16:58Speaker 3: You've got to get creative with naming rights. And that's
- 17:01Speaker 3: what these colleges are having to do right now. Like
- 17:04Speaker 3: Southern miss say, hey, look we need money, so we're
- 17:08Speaker 3: gonna name our stadium after Renaissance Bank. We're gonna name
- 17:11Speaker 3: maybe the press box after this. We're gonna we're gonna
- 17:13Speaker 3: get creative with it. And again, the Big twelve has
- 17:15Speaker 3: been very innovative on this. Brandon Marcelo put this infograph
- 17:20Speaker 3: out college football's most expensive average ticket prices this year,
- 17:26Speaker 3: courtesy of tickpick.
- 17:29Speaker 4: And I have never used I don't know they've ever
- 17:31Speaker 4: heard of tickpick.
- 17:33Speaker 3: I got two hundred and fifty one thousand followers on
- 17:36Speaker 3: X have a promo code Twitter. Theydn't pay me to
- 17:39Speaker 3: say that, but you can go get tickets there anyway.
- 17:41Speaker 3: Average ticket prices courtesy of Tickpick. Texas Number one forty
- 17:46Speaker 3: five point nine percent year of a year. Your average
- 17:48Speaker 3: ticket price to go see the Texas Longhorns in Austin.
- 17:52Speaker 3: I'm assuming these are home games. Three hundred and eighty
- 17:56Speaker 3: eight dollars three hundred and eighty eight bucks. Number two
- 17:59Speaker 3: on this list right here in the state of Mississippi,
- 18:03Speaker 3: Ole Miss. Average ticket price to get into a Rebel
- 18:06Speaker 3: football game at the Vault Hemingway Stadium or Vault at
- 18:09Speaker 3: the Vault three hundred and forty nine dollars. That's what
- 18:13Speaker 3: winning does. Texas A and M number three on the
- 18:15Speaker 3: last three hundred and thirty seven dollars. And by the way,
- 18:19Speaker 3: Ole Miss and Texas A and M both new to
- 18:21Speaker 3: this list at two and three. Let's go to the
- 18:23Speaker 3: Missippi Sports Medicine Carlo Line. Let's go to David David.
- 18:26Speaker 3: Welcome in, sir.
- 18:26Speaker 7: How are you hey, Jake, how you've been doing?
- 18:29Speaker 8: Man?
- 18:30Speaker 4: David, We're going to while, but it's good.
- 18:32Speaker 7: To talk to you.
- 18:33Speaker 4: Absolutely.
- 18:35Speaker 7: But uh, you know all a long time Brendan Bulldog fan,
- 18:38Speaker 7: you know that, Uh, I was going to ask you
- 18:41Speaker 7: tomorrow Night's jamboree at Warren Central. Will it be live
- 18:45Speaker 7: streamed on the Bulldog Network.
- 18:48Speaker 4: Yes, no it will.
- 18:50Speaker 3: It's a six o'clock kick and it's at Bulldog Stadium,
- 18:53Speaker 3: So the Warren Craks are coming to.
- 18:56Speaker 7: All this heat. Now, my hell hasn't been brave here late.
- 19:00Speaker 7: I just you know, I wanted to try to catch
- 19:02Speaker 7: it on live stream if I could, you know.
- 19:05Speaker 3: Yeah, it'll be it'll be a six o'clock kick and
- 19:08Speaker 3: it will be live stream for free on Brandon Bulldogs
- 19:10Speaker 3: not live at sounds.
- 19:13Speaker 7: Great man, listen, Thank you man. You're doing a great
- 19:15Speaker 7: job as always you and b both.
- 19:18Speaker 4: Thank you, David appreciate it.
- 19:19Speaker 7: Thank you much.
- 19:20Speaker 3: John six or one eight nine seven one zero five nine.
- 19:23Speaker 3: You had a lot of preseason games in the MHSA
- 19:26Speaker 3: around the state. Tomorrow night as football is here the
- 19:29Speaker 3: m A I S. You've got some great games in
- 19:31Speaker 3: them A S. MRA is what you can hear right
- 19:34Speaker 3: here tomorrow night. They're heading to Ravenwood, Tennessee. You've got
- 19:37Speaker 3: Sam Williams and ums right gonna be over at Jackson
- 19:40Speaker 3: Prep tomorrow night.
- 19:41Speaker 4: Uh so you just got a whole.
- 19:42Speaker 3: Cluster of football tomorrow night, which is gonna be fun.
- 19:45Speaker 3: And then everybody's playing for all the marvels a week
- 19:49Speaker 3: from tomorrow. Average ticket prices Tennessee number four. Top four
- 19:54Speaker 3: teams in the country with the average ticket prices at
- 19:56Speaker 3: the highs are all SEC teams Texas, Ole, Miss Texas A,
- 19:59Speaker 3: and m tennis See three hundred two bucks to get
- 20:01Speaker 3: into a Tennessee ball game, Notre Dame number five, two
- 20:04Speaker 3: hundred and ninety nine American dollars, Ohio State number six,
- 20:07Speaker 3: two hundred ninety one. Alabama, They're up thirty three point
- 20:10Speaker 3: seven percent two hundred and seventy four dollars per ticket
- 20:13Speaker 3: on average to get into an Alabama game.
- 20:15Speaker 4: And again these are averages because think about this.
- 20:18Speaker 3: We know the ole Miss LSU ticket prices right now
- 20:21Speaker 3: and I haven't looked at them in a few weeks.
- 20:23Speaker 3: Third party is going to be close to one thousand bucks,
- 20:26Speaker 3: and it may be more than that by now. I
- 20:28Speaker 3: have no idea.
- 20:28Speaker 4: And as the teams win.
- 20:31Speaker 3: If Ole Miss beats Louisville next weekend and LSU beats Clemson, the.
- 20:35Speaker 4: Tickets are going to straight straight on up.
- 20:38Speaker 3: Georgia number eight, two hundred and seventy one dollars. Nor
- 20:42Speaker 3: how is Northwestern up two hundred and forty eight dollars
- 20:45Speaker 3: to get.
- 20:46Speaker 4: Into a Northwestern football game? Now, I don't know that
- 20:49Speaker 4: you could give me one.
- 20:50Speaker 3: And Wisconsin at number ten, two hundred and forty six,
- 20:52Speaker 3: I don't know how you know Wisconsin. Obviously, that's a
- 20:55Speaker 3: there's a lot of history with Wisconsin football. They love
- 20:58Speaker 3: the Badgers in Wisconsin, but two hundred and forty six
- 21:03Speaker 3: number one of Texas three eighty eight, So that's a
- 21:05Speaker 3: difference top ten of one hundred and thirty thirty two
- 21:10Speaker 3: dollars the one hundred and forty two dollars one hundred
- 21:13Speaker 3: and forty two ucs, So there's some ticket prices their
- 21:15Speaker 3: courtesy of Brandon Marcello.
- 21:17Speaker 4: Also, this came out earlier today.
- 21:19Speaker 3: Ex Ohio state kicker Jaden Fielding has filed guess what,
- 21:23Speaker 3: a lawsuit in Illinois against the NCAA seeking the ability
- 21:28Speaker 3: to transfer and use his fifth season of eligibility. His lawyer,
- 21:32Speaker 3: Whoever Heightener, is tel CBS Sports, the former All Big
- 21:36Speaker 3: Ten selection.
- 21:37Speaker 4: Fielding hit sixteen to twenty.
- 21:38Speaker 3: Fil goal attempts during the twenty twenty five season, and
- 21:43Speaker 3: they put his agent on here as well, so you
- 21:46Speaker 3: can contact his agent. Yeah, here's the thing, there's not
- 21:52Speaker 3: enough spots. If all the guys that graduated and left
- 21:57Speaker 3: college after thee this past year, they were the graduating
- 22:03Speaker 3: class of twenty twenty five, they can't all come back.
- 22:07Speaker 4: There's not enough spots.
- 22:09Speaker 3: Remember you, you had an influx as always a freshman
- 22:13Speaker 3: guys that came in.
- 22:15Speaker 4: There's just not enough spots and this whole thing is
- 22:18Speaker 4: a mess.
- 22:18Speaker 3: I mean some of these guys you know, who knows
- 22:20Speaker 3: if this fielding character will be eligible.
- 22:23Speaker 4: We'll see.
- 22:24Speaker 3: Hey, we are brought to you by Vans Outdoors and

- 23:38Speaker 1: the day on ESPN one five point nine own and
- 23:41Speaker 1: online at his own one o.
- 23:42Speaker 2: Five nine dot com.
- 24:07Speaker 3: Checking in on a Thursday, were on to you by
- 24:10Speaker 3: my bookie dot ag ropelas Sparza. He is on your radio.
- 24:13Speaker 3: Use the promo code patio patio and you can get
- 24:16Speaker 3: a sign up bonus on my BOOKI dot ag a Sparza.
- 24:20Speaker 4: Welcome in. Are you in the transfer portal? Everybody else is?
- 24:23Speaker 8: Uh No, I am too old for the transfer portal.
- 24:26Speaker 8: My back will not let me go into the transfer portal.
- 24:29Speaker 8: So no.
- 24:31Speaker 3: You and I talked about this last night, but more
- 24:33Speaker 3: guys are jumping in this this deal. I got so
- 24:36Speaker 3: many questions on this These judges, Well, let me ask
- 24:38Speaker 3: you this, Why are judges and I get it.
- 24:42Speaker 4: Judges are powerful. They can do a lot of things.
- 24:45Speaker 3: Why are judges able to dictate which guys can come back?
- 24:51Speaker 3: Tell the NCAA to shut up? I mean you would
- 24:53Speaker 3: think the nc DOABA has zero power. I mean that
- 24:55Speaker 3: there's nothing they can do about anything.
- 24:59Speaker 8: I mean, to look at these judges. Where do these
- 25:01Speaker 8: judges graduate from? I mean, I think it's the first
- 25:04Speaker 8: thing you would have to look at when they're making
- 25:07Speaker 8: these decisions. A perfect example was what wasn't it one
- 25:09Speaker 8: of the Texas Tech judges? It was a Texas Tech
- 25:11Speaker 8: donor that was trying to get the kid from back
- 25:15Speaker 8: over there. So I think that's the first thing you
- 25:18Speaker 8: would have to look at. But I think we talked
- 25:21Speaker 8: about this last night. I just don't see this going
- 25:24Speaker 8: through yet. It's probably the talk of the town right now.
- 25:27Speaker 8: But I mean if some of these college coaches, like
- 25:29Speaker 8: I said, yeah, it may be good for them now,
- 25:31Speaker 8: but it could probably bite them in a butt down
- 25:33Speaker 8: the road.
- 25:35Speaker 4: Let me ask you this. I was talking with Bill
- 25:36Speaker 4: Bender from the Sporting News and I asked him this.
- 25:40Speaker 3: Let's say you got drafted this past year, seventh round,
- 25:44Speaker 3: you get cut, you go back to college.
- 25:46Speaker 4: Can you re you know, the draft this spring.
- 25:48Speaker 8: In the spring, I'm guessing probably, But boy, if what
- 25:53Speaker 8: is okay? If you got drafted in the seventh round,
- 25:56Speaker 8: you go back to school, well you think you're gonna
- 25:58Speaker 8: be a first rounder? You're probably gonna to be because
- 26:00Speaker 8: now you have that negativity of trying to screw the
- 26:06Speaker 8: system to go back to college because you couldn't make
- 26:08Speaker 8: it in the NFL. So it's the NFL is like,
- 26:10Speaker 8: oh this guy, Well, let's take a chance on this guy.
- 26:13Speaker 8: And no, I think I hurt his chances in being
- 26:15Speaker 8: drafted again. So again I think down the road, it's
- 26:18Speaker 8: gonna kill itself.
- 26:20Speaker 3: Raphaelas Barza on your radio, it is Thursday. We'll tell
- 26:23Speaker 3: you where you can follow him here in just a bit.
- 26:26Speaker 3: NFL preseason are you are you dollating and anything?
- 26:30Speaker 4: Tonight?
- 26:30Speaker 3: You got a couple of ball games tonight? Hey, I mean,
- 26:32Speaker 3: doz is gonna play for half tonight for the writers.
- 26:34Speaker 3: He's gone for that job.
- 26:36Speaker 8: Yeah, it's I think that's gonna be interesting to watch.
- 26:39Speaker 8: I mean the Unders. There were seventeen games last week
- 26:42Speaker 8: in preseason Week one, twelve of them went under the total.
- 26:45Speaker 8: It went shocked. We have both of these games go under,
- 26:48Speaker 8: especially the forty nine Ers and Chargers A little bit
- 26:51Speaker 8: shocked that you could still get plus one and a
- 26:52Speaker 8: half on the Chargers. I mean, San Francisco was all
- 26:56Speaker 8: banged up. Their injury list is so huge, and I
- 27:00Speaker 8: think the Chargers will establish the run and I want
- 27:03Speaker 8: to run the ball and even cook good battle at
- 27:05Speaker 8: QB with Trey Lance and DJ. I'm not even gonna
- 27:08Speaker 8: try to pronounce his last name because I always Butcher.
- 27:10Speaker 8: It's so I could see them having a nice quarterback battle.
- 27:15Speaker 8: So I think under on both games. I probably, especially
- 27:18Speaker 8: now if the Raider total just moved to thirty nine
- 27:22Speaker 8: just now as we're speaking.
- 27:23Speaker 3: And of course you got a full slight of preseason games.
- 27:26Speaker 3: This is kind of like the last week. I think
- 27:28Speaker 3: that we'll see all the starters, and you know, next
- 27:32Speaker 3: week is we're getting down to you know, cutting season
- 27:34Speaker 3: to get down to the fifty three mans, so this
- 27:37Speaker 3: will be the last you know, I guess exciting week.
- 27:38Speaker 3: Next week is just kind of a prep for the
- 27:40Speaker 3: next week.
- 27:42Speaker 8: That's troupe. So if if let's say, if DJ beats
- 27:45Speaker 8: trade Lance for the backup quarterback in trade Lance, come
- 27:49Speaker 8: back to school is that what we were talking about.
- 27:53Speaker 4: I mean, why not, right, I mean.
- 27:55Speaker 8: I just wanted to make sure if that we were
- 27:57Speaker 8: in the same boat.
- 27:58Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, you could be. Let me ask you this.
- 28:00Speaker 4: Look at some futures in the NFL.
- 28:02Speaker 3: We've talked some futures in college, you know, when you
- 28:06Speaker 3: look at the futures, and we talked about this a
- 28:08Speaker 3: little bit with you. But when you look at the
- 28:10Speaker 3: futures for the Super Bowl, the Rams obviously way out
- 28:13Speaker 3: in front. Who is the best team in the AFC?
- 28:15Speaker 3: I mean Buffalo right now at ten to one that
- 28:17Speaker 3: I'm looking at here in the shop to win the
- 28:19Speaker 3: Super Bowl. Baltimore at eleven to one, Chiefs fifteen to one,
- 28:23Speaker 3: Chargers seventeen to one.
- 28:25Speaker 8: Yeah, the Chiefs are anywhere between fifteen and seventeen to one.
- 28:29Speaker 8: Is the second largest number. Patrick Mahomes had his rookie
- 28:33Speaker 8: year they were thirty to one. It's a little bit crazy.
- 28:36Speaker 8: I know. I still think it's the can be the
- 28:38Speaker 8: Chargers in Denver. I like those two are the way
- 28:43Speaker 8: the Chargers they getting between eighteen to one to twenty,
- 28:47Speaker 8: Chargers at twenty. I'm not sold at Baltimore. I'm not
- 28:50Speaker 8: sold at Buffalo. I think the Super Bowl Champions has
- 28:52Speaker 8: closed both teams and the Chiefs. The Chiefs still have
- 28:57Speaker 8: so many questions, question marks with the health of Patrick Mahomes,
- 29:01Speaker 8: the newlywed that they really didn't improve their defense. Too
- 29:05Speaker 8: many questions marks for me in Kansas City.
- 29:08Speaker 3: You know, when you look at some of these divisional
- 29:10Speaker 3: races out there, some of them are really really close,
- 29:14Speaker 3: you know, then some of them are not. I mean,
- 29:15Speaker 3: obviously Buffalo the leader at the in the AFC East
- 29:18Speaker 3: and what I'm looking at minus one forty eight New
- 29:19Speaker 3: England plus one thirty five the Dolphins and Jets way
- 29:22Speaker 3: out of the scope there, Ravens a significant favorite to
- 29:26Speaker 3: win the North. In the AFC the South. Who is
- 29:30Speaker 3: the best team in the South, is it? I mean,
- 29:31Speaker 3: Texans are the leader in the clubhouse right now, you know,
- 29:34Speaker 3: Curtisey if you guys the Insiders. But Jaguars, Colts, Titans
- 29:38Speaker 3: are out of that thing, probably, but maybe a three
- 29:40Speaker 3: team race in that division.
- 29:42Speaker 8: Probably, But I mean, Houston's just got devastating news last
- 29:45Speaker 8: was it yesterday when they lost their ride receiver. I
- 29:48Speaker 8: like Jacksonville. I mean, no one's talking about the Jaguars.
- 29:51Speaker 8: They were really good last year. I think their defense
- 29:53Speaker 8: is going to be just as good as last year.
- 29:56Speaker 8: But I think the reason why Houston money is coming
- 29:57Speaker 8: in because we all rever how great that de Deen was,
- 30:00Speaker 8: but still have question marks and offensive side. But I'll
- 30:04Speaker 8: take the two two to one or higher on Jacksonville.
- 30:10Speaker 3: Is the NFC North? Could we make an argument this year?
- 30:12Speaker 3: Is that the toughest division in football? Kyler Murray Minnesota,
- 30:16Speaker 3: I know they're the you know, back end of the
- 30:17Speaker 3: bus here at five to one to win the NFC North.
- 30:20Speaker 3: Calibilliams in Chicago, Green Bay, Detroit, Detroit that leader at
- 30:24Speaker 3: plus one sixty.
- 30:26Speaker 8: Oh, that's that's the toughest division in football. I mean
- 30:29Speaker 8: NFC North. It's so wide open, and I love the
- 30:34Speaker 8: Vikings at Florida one and the division. I'm not sold
- 30:37Speaker 8: on Detroit. They don't have that two headed monster running
- 30:41Speaker 8: backs anymore. Is Jordan Love finally going to get out
- 30:44Speaker 8: of the shadow and do something? Can the Bears repeat
- 30:47Speaker 8: what they did last year? That's why I'll give me
- 30:50Speaker 8: the Vikings. I love Kyler Murray in that spot. I'll
- 30:54Speaker 8: take the Florida One.
- 30:55Speaker 4: What else is going on this week?
- 30:57Speaker 8: Boy? You don't want to talk about the great that
- 30:59Speaker 8: their NFC out it's a great division and stuff like that. No,
- 31:02Speaker 8: we won't talk about that. It's we have pre season
- 31:05Speaker 8: week two, we have baseball, we got boxing, and we
- 31:07Speaker 8: got UFC this weekend. In horse racing, it's my favorite
- 31:12Speaker 8: time at Delmark California, the Pacific Classic. I used to
- 31:15Speaker 8: attend that all the time. So it's just a great
- 31:17Speaker 8: weekend to stay inside, put the air conditioning on even
- 31:21Speaker 8: lower because it's hot everywhere, especially in the patio that
- 31:24Speaker 8: no one ever invites me to go outside of the patio. Uh,
- 31:27Speaker 8: but it's just a stay inside in the air conditioning
- 31:30Speaker 8: and watch a lot of sports. Literally World Series come on.
- 31:33Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, Well do you'll do numbers for that?
- 31:36Speaker 8: Unfortunately? Yes, But you know he's a quick story. There's
- 31:40Speaker 8: more betting action on California to win the Little League
- 31:43Speaker 8: World Series than there is Chelsea to win the English
- 31:46Speaker 8: Premier League.
- 31:47Speaker 3: Can you believe that? That's unbelievable? He's Rotelo Sparsa. Tell
- 31:51Speaker 3: that to find you, I want to come and see you.
- 31:53Speaker 8: You can find me on at bside x Sports. You

- 33:11Speaker 3: one eight eight five three seven seven six Brad Crawford
- 33:14Speaker 3: and that's the Calvil Maloney's text line. Calvin Maloney's the
- 33:17Speaker 3: store that gives you more thirteen locations around the state
- 33:19Speaker 3: online at Cawbour Malonies dot com. Brad Crawford two four
- 33:23Speaker 3: seven Sports. Also CBS has dropped his Bowl projection.
- 33:28Speaker 4: How about that.
- 33:28Speaker 3: Let's see if where our Missippi teams land and what
- 33:31Speaker 3: he's got for the college football playoff. He's got his
- 33:34Speaker 3: play in games or his first round games rather not
- 33:37Speaker 3: to play in first round games campus destination.
- 33:41Speaker 4: He has.
- 33:41Speaker 3: December eighteenth, Columbus Ohio number eight Ohio State taken on
- 33:46Speaker 3: number nine LSU.
- 33:48Speaker 4: That'd be a big game.
- 33:50Speaker 3: If LSU was to go to Ohio State week one
- 33:52Speaker 3: of the playoffs, that would be a big, big game.
- 33:55Speaker 3: December nineteenth, which will have three ball games. Bloomington, Indiana
- 34:01Speaker 3: Memorial Stadium, Indiana as a seventh seed hosting ten seed BYU,
- 34:05Speaker 3: which means BYU would have won the Big Twelve. December nineteenth,
- 34:09Speaker 3: Jones at and T Stadium, Lubbock, Texas, Texas Tech as
- 34:14Speaker 3: a sixth seed. Check that he's got two Big twelve teams,
- 34:17Speaker 3: Texas Tech winning it and BYU is the runner up,
- 34:20Speaker 3: Texas Tech taking on number eleven seed SMU and his
- 34:24Speaker 3: final first round ball game dk R Texas Stadium, Austin, Texas,
- 34:28Speaker 3: number five, Texas hosting number twelve UNLV, and his projected
- 34:35Speaker 3: order finish going into the playoff. He has Miami as
- 34:37Speaker 3: the one seed, undefeated, Oregon the two seed at twelve
- 34:41Speaker 3: and one, Georgia the three seed at twelve and one
- 34:43Speaker 3: Notre Dame at eleven to one, number four Texas, Texas, Tech, Indiana,
- 34:47Speaker 3: Ohio State, LSU, and BYU. That rounds out the top
- 34:51Speaker 3: ten and then SMU and UNLV. So by virtue of
- 34:57Speaker 3: two big twelve teams, that likely leaves out a team
- 34:59Speaker 3: like Miss Alabama. And you know for the SEC and
- 35:05Speaker 3: Crawford's he's got to see Georgia's one, Texas to LSU.
- 35:09Speaker 3: He's got three SEC teams three if the SEC, and
- 35:13Speaker 3: look that could happen. This nine game schedule is really
- 35:18Speaker 3: going to create, you know, a wrecked room of sorts
- 35:21Speaker 3: in the SEC. And I think you're going to see
- 35:24Speaker 3: several nine and three teams get left out moving on
- 35:27Speaker 3: in his playoff projections, January first Peach Bowl in Atlanta,
- 35:33Speaker 3: Number one Miami versus number eight Ohio State. December thirtieth
- 35:39Speaker 3: Fiesta Bowl Game, Glendale, Arizona, number two, Oregan versus Number
- 35:42Speaker 3: seven Indiana two January first Games, the Cotton Bowl Georgia
- 35:46Speaker 3: third seed versus Texas Tech sixth seed, and also the
- 35:49Speaker 3: Rose Bowl Pasadena Notre Dame four seed, Texas five seed.
- 35:53Speaker 3: Some of his bowl projections out here, he has just
- 35:57Speaker 3: looking at some of these early bowls, like Georgia Southern
- 36:00Speaker 3: Washington State in the Puerto Rico Bowl. He's got Maba
- 36:05Speaker 3: of Ohio President State in the Frisco Bowl, Florida, South
- 36:10Speaker 3: Florida in the Cure Bowl. That's exactly where Gator Matt
- 36:14Speaker 3: wants to go.
- 36:14Speaker 4: Is the Cure Bowl.
- 36:15Speaker 3: Florida versus South Florida, South Carolina, Virginia in the Gasparilla Bowl,
- 36:21Speaker 3: Liberty Old Dominion in the New Orleans Bowl, Memphis versus Kansas,
- 36:25Speaker 3: and the Armed Force Bowl. The Independence Bowl used to
- 36:29Speaker 3: be people from the South net Well two Lane versus
- 36:31Speaker 3: West Virginia.
- 36:33Speaker 8: Oh.
- 36:33Speaker 4: Let's see here he has Army North North Carolina.
- 36:37Speaker 3: North Carolina's not making a bowl game Army North Carolina
- 36:40Speaker 3: and the Fenway Bowl Florida State Nebraska and the Mayo Bowl.
- 36:45Speaker 3: He's also got Auburn Utsa in the Birmingham Bowl. That's
- 36:50Speaker 3: exactly where Auburn wants to go to Birmingham to play
- 36:52Speaker 3: play a bowl game, Pop Tarts Bowl, Louisville versus Houston.
- 36:55Speaker 3: He's got TCU Tennessee in the Texas Bowl, North Texas
- 37:01Speaker 3: Duke in the First Responders Bowl, Missouri versus Oklahoma State,
- 37:04Speaker 3: there's Oklahoma City, and in the Liberty Bowl, it's got
- 37:08Speaker 3: Oklahoma versus Clemson. In the Gator Bowl, Texas A and
- 37:11Speaker 3: m Michigan in the Music City Bowl, Alabama versus Iowa
- 37:16Speaker 3: and the Reloquest Bowl. That's exactly what Alabama fans want
- 37:19Speaker 3: paying Kaylin to bore with the money they're paying him.
- 37:22Speaker 3: Penn State versus Ole miss and the Citrus Bowl and
- 37:25Speaker 3: Missisppi State and so the missmission a bowl game. So
- 37:29Speaker 3: that would mean State is under six wins. And again
- 37:33Speaker 3: what does that mean for Jeff Levy six one eight
- 37:36Speaker 3: nine seven one zero five nine, if you want to
- 37:37Speaker 3: call us, that is the Missisippi Sports Medicine collar line.
- 37:41Speaker 4: Let me get some more notes before we get to
- 37:42Speaker 4: the top of the hour, and we will have Keith
- 37:44Speaker 4: Harty back with us some in hour number three.
- 37:48Speaker 3: Let's see here, we're going through a lot of these
- 37:50Speaker 3: guys that are trying to get back in the transfer
- 37:51Speaker 3: portal if you care.
- 37:54Speaker 4: Beaver's favorite guy, R J.
- 37:56Speaker 3: Young has listed his UH top one thirty and let's
- 38:02Speaker 3: see who does he have as number one. I'm just
- 38:06Speaker 3: curious who argent one thirty Eight's the Minutemen of Minnesota.
- 38:11Speaker 3: Minnesota's number one thirty eight in just about every polls.
- 38:15Speaker 4: Worst program in the country. Let's see Ucla. I'm going
- 38:18Speaker 4: all the way to the bottom.
- 38:19Speaker 3: Ucla at thirty two or thirty three. His number one
- 38:23Speaker 3: team is Indiana and his number two team is Ohio State.
- 38:28Speaker 3: Number three team is Georgia four, Oregon five, Texas six,
- 38:35Speaker 3: Notre Dame seven, Miami eight, LSU nine, Texas A and
- 38:40Speaker 3: m ten USC that's his top ten. And let's see
- 38:44Speaker 3: here Oklahoma at number eleven, Ole miss at number twelve,
- 38:48Speaker 3: We'll go to fifteen, Alabama at thirteen, Texas Tech fourteen,
- 38:54Speaker 3: and Michigan checks in at number fifteen.
- 38:59Speaker 8: So R. J.
- 38:59Speaker 4: Young is out there.
- 39:00Speaker 3: And the pair ratings who did a lot in baseball
- 39:04Speaker 3: on X at P E A AR pair excuse be
- 39:08Speaker 3: the P ratings p e A R P e A
- 39:10Speaker 3: r A t I n g s the P ratings
- 39:14Speaker 3: they have their college football simulation done on their analytics,
- 39:16Speaker 3: they have Georgia win in the whole thing. Georgia went
- 39:18Speaker 3: in the national championship over Texas A and M, and
- 39:22Speaker 3: their field looks like this. Boise As A twelve taken
- 39:25Speaker 3: on Oregon as A five eight nine matchup, Texas Tech eight,
- 39:29Speaker 3: Miami nine, six to eleven matchup, Ohio State Penn State
- 39:34Speaker 3: ten to seven matchup.
- 39:35Speaker 1: They have.
- 39:39Speaker 3: LSU versus Notre Dame Ole Miss one of the first
- 39:41Speaker 3: teams out, along with Louisville, Alabama, Washington, Oklahoma, and Iowa.
- 39:47Speaker 3: They have Oregon taken out Indiana in the second round,
- 39:51Speaker 3: Georgia taken out Texas Tech, Texas A and M defeats
- 39:54Speaker 3: Penn State, Texas defeach Notre Dame. So the p ratings
- 39:58Speaker 3: has a Texas Texas A and M final four game
- 40:00Speaker 3: and then an Oregon Georgia game. That'd be three SEC
- 40:03Speaker 3: teams in the final four. I think the SEC would
- 40:05Speaker 3: be thrilled about that, And if the SEC got an
- 40:07Speaker 3: all SEC championship game, they would.
- 40:10Speaker 4: Be ecstatic about that.
- 40:11Speaker 3: But Georgia beating Texas A and M and again, I
- 40:15Speaker 3: could see this this scenario happening. I really could I've
- 40:19Speaker 3: said it again and I'll continue to say it. I
- 40:20Speaker 3: think the field is that deep, and I think you know,
- 40:25Speaker 3: eight teams can win, and there's about another five or
- 40:28Speaker 3: six that can make a run Tennessee, Texas. A and
- 40:30Speaker 3: M would fall in that five to six teams outside
- 40:34Speaker 3: the eight. We're brought to you by Maristar Casino. Get
