- 0:04Speaker 1: Hello, friends from across the nation and around the world.
- 0:08Speaker 1: I'm Martin, and you are listening to Dad's Bedtime Stories. But, uh, yeah,
- 0:14Speaker 1: tonight I could not record a new episode because I
- 0:20Speaker 1: just ran out of time. And, uh, sometimes that happens.
- 0:24Speaker 1: So hopefully I'll get a brand new one out very soon.
- 0:28Speaker 1: But in the meantime, I realized that it's October... And
- 0:33Speaker 1: I haven't told everyone to send me magic costume tree episodes.
- 0:40Speaker 1: And that would break a very important tradition. So, you
- 0:45Speaker 1: have until next week. Which gives you pretty much only
- 0:48Speaker 1: this weekend because I record most of the episodes on Sunday.
- 0:51Speaker 1: But if you put in a great idea for the
- 0:54Speaker 1: magic costume tree, it's possible that it could be made.
- 0:59Speaker 1: But I can only pick one or two. So just
- 1:02Speaker 1: keep that in mind. Anyways, I decided to do a
- 1:06Speaker 1: compilation episode of some amazing Magic Costume Tree episodes, so
- 1:12Speaker 1: I hope you enjoy them. After a, uh, you know,
- 1:16Speaker 1: a word from a possible sponsor or something like that.
- 1:21Speaker 1: Now it's time to get as comfy as you can
- 1:24Speaker 1: in that bed, close your eyes, and imagine yourself doing
- 1:29Speaker 1: what the kid in the story does. Imagine yourself walking
- 1:38Speaker 1: along a sidewalk. It's an ordinary day wherever you live.
- 1:43Speaker 1: But as you walk, you see a strange glowing coming
- 1:48Speaker 1: from the side of the sidewalk. You look towards it
- 1:53Speaker 1: and you see a path that you've never seen before.
- 1:59Speaker 1: A path that seems to lead into the forest. A
- 2:03Speaker 1: forest you didn't even know was there. but something about
- 2:07Speaker 1: it seems very inviting, very peaceful, and very, very safe.
- 2:15Speaker 1: So you decide to follow the path. The path is
- 2:19Speaker 1: lit by little pumpkins on either side, each one carved
- 2:24Speaker 1: into one of your favorite pictures. As you walk along
- 2:29Speaker 1: the path, it winds left and right, and you see
- 2:34Speaker 1: leaves falling from the trees, each one a different color. Eventually,
- 2:42Speaker 1: you walk out into an opening, and inside the opening
- 2:47Speaker 1: is a gigantic and old-looking tree. As you approach the tree,
- 2:55Speaker 1: you see that it actually has a door in the
- 2:57Speaker 1: center of it. You walk up to the door and
- 3:01Speaker 1: you knock a few times. No one answers, so you
- 3:06Speaker 1: knock again. And as you do, the door squeaks open.
- 3:14Speaker 1: You peek inside and you don't see that anyone's there.
- 3:19Speaker 1: But it is light inside for some reason. You step
- 3:23Speaker 1: into the tree and you see that you're surrounded on
- 3:27Speaker 1: all sides by a closet full of clothing? Clothing? Wait
- 3:35Speaker 1: a second, this isn't clothing. These are costumes. Beautiful, amazing
- 3:42Speaker 1: costumes of every shape and every size. You begin looking
- 3:47Speaker 1: through the racks of costumes and you come across one
- 3:51Speaker 1: that looks like wizard robes. You pull them off the
- 3:55Speaker 1: hanger and hold them up in front of you. They
- 4:00Speaker 1: look kind of familiar. They're familiar. Almost like something you
- 4:04Speaker 1: might have read in a book or seen in a movie. Huh.
- 4:10Speaker 1: You hang the hanger back up. And you put your
- 4:14Speaker 1: arm inside the wizard's robe. Swing it around your back
- 4:18Speaker 1: and put your other arm in. You button it up
- 4:22Speaker 1: at the front. And then you realize there's something in
- 4:26Speaker 1: the pocket. A wand. A wand. You pick up the
- 4:31Speaker 1: wand and hold it in your hand, and suddenly a
- 4:35Speaker 1: surge of power passes through your body. You get a
- 4:40Speaker 1: strange chill that runs up your spine, and you can
- 4:46Speaker 1: feel something else, something that feels like another sense. But
- 4:53Speaker 1: instead of allowing you to feel like an arm or
- 4:57Speaker 1: a leg, you can suddenly feel the mystical energy that
- 5:03Speaker 1: runs between all things. And you find that just like
- 5:09Speaker 1: you can bend an arm or a leg, you seem
- 5:12Speaker 1: to be able to change the direction of this energy.
- 5:17Speaker 1: You seem to be able to make contact with things
- 5:20Speaker 1: and change their very reality. This must be what magic
- 5:27Speaker 1: is like. You walk back outside of the tree and
- 5:32Speaker 1: you look around the forest. You lift your wand up
- 5:36Speaker 1: in the air. You focus on a stump in the
- 5:40Speaker 1: distance and you imagine the stump turning into a deer.
- 5:47Speaker 1: Power surges through your wand and you whip it towards
- 5:51Speaker 1: the log. A huge bright light shoots from your wand
- 5:57Speaker 1: to your log. connecting that unforeseen energy that you're able
- 6:01Speaker 1: to feel and manipulate in the air. The energy soars
- 6:07Speaker 1: through the log and changes the log's shape. The log
- 6:14Speaker 1: stretches out, grows four little legs and a little fluffy tail,
- 6:21Speaker 1: and stands up and looks at you.
- 6:23Speaker 2: A wooden deer.
- 6:25Speaker 1: A wooden deer. The deer begins to run around in
- 6:29Speaker 1: circles and then runs off into the forest. Amazing. You
- 6:37Speaker 1: begin walking through the forest and with each leaf you see,
- 6:42Speaker 1: you wave your magic wand and turn it into a
- 6:45Speaker 1: butterfly or a fairy or a bird until magical creatures
- 6:53Speaker 1: made of leaves and twigs are flying all around you
- 6:56Speaker 1: in every direction You use your powers to create swirls
- 7:01Speaker 1: of colors moving all around your body, through the air
- 7:07Speaker 1: and up into a magical dome. You look up at
- 7:11Speaker 1: the sky and you wonder about the stars, but you
- 7:15Speaker 1: can't see them right now because it's light out. And
- 7:20Speaker 1: then you have an idea. You force the magic sphere
- 7:25Speaker 1: of colors straight up into the air. until it explodes
- 7:30Speaker 1: in an amazing show of light and fireworks. But as
- 7:34Speaker 1: the fireworks disappear, you see only a dark sky, a
- 7:41Speaker 1: dark sky dotted with bright stars in every direction. And
- 7:48Speaker 1: as you allow your focus to wander, the light appears again,
- 7:53Speaker 1: and you're standing in the forest in daytime once again,
- 7:59Speaker 1: This is a pretty cool costume, you think. But then
- 8:04Speaker 1: you start to wonder that if this costume gives you
- 8:07Speaker 1: these powers, another costume might give you other powers too.
- 8:14Speaker 1: You head back to the tree. You open the door
- 8:18Speaker 1: and walk inside. You find the curtain where the magician's
- 8:22Speaker 1: costume or wizarding costume or whatever it was was hanging.
- 8:28Speaker 1: You hang the wizard's costume back up and you begin
- 8:31Speaker 1: to look around the room once again. Soon you come
- 8:35Speaker 1: across a red and blue costume that looks a lot
- 8:40Speaker 1: like one of your favorite video game characters. Cool. Well,
- 8:47Speaker 1: this probably doesn't work like the other one, you think,
- 8:49Speaker 1: but you decide to try it on anyways. You step
- 8:54Speaker 1: into the costume and pull it up over top of
- 8:57Speaker 1: your body. There's a zipper at the back that you
- 9:00Speaker 1: pull up with a little string, and then there's a
- 9:03Speaker 1: beautiful red hat that you put on top. As soon
- 9:08Speaker 1: as you put the hat on your head, a strange
- 9:11Speaker 1: power surges through your body. You suddenly feel like you
- 9:16Speaker 1: can jump amazingly high into the air. You have to
- 9:22Speaker 1: test it out. You head back outside. And as soon
- 9:28Speaker 1: as you're in an area where you can jump really,
- 9:30Speaker 1: really high, you bend your legs and you jump up
- 9:35Speaker 1: into the air. There's a strange electronic sound as you
- 9:41Speaker 1: jump up, but you fly higher than you could have expected,
- 9:45Speaker 1: up above the trees, and you gracefully land back down.
- 9:51Speaker 1: It's almost as if the costume changes the speed of
- 9:54Speaker 1: gravity or something. you begin bouncing all over the forest.
- 10:00Speaker 1: you bounce up into the trees and jump from branch
- 10:03Speaker 1: to branch from leaf to leaf until you come across
- 10:08Speaker 1: a strange box that's floating in the air what could
- 10:13Speaker 1: this box be you think You jump up as high
- 10:18Speaker 1: as you can towards the box, and you punch it
- 10:22Speaker 1: with one of your fists. As you punch it, the
- 10:25Speaker 1: box breaks into a whole bunch of pieces, and a
- 10:30Speaker 1: little feather is floating in the middle of it. You
- 10:34Speaker 1: grab the feather, and a strange power passes through your
- 10:38Speaker 1: body once again. Suddenly you feel something on your back,
- 10:43Speaker 1: something that you can move just like it's an arm
- 10:46Speaker 1: or a leg. You look back and you see two
- 10:50Speaker 1: huge wings. Whoa. You begin to flap the wings and
- 10:57Speaker 1: you fly high up in the air, floating high above
- 11:02Speaker 1: the world. You gently glide over the forest. You see
- 11:08Speaker 1: a bird and you begin to join it, flying left
- 11:12Speaker 1: and right and just learning from the bird. Watching as
- 11:17Speaker 1: it rides the currents of air. You do the same.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Then something catches your attention on the ground below you.
- 11:27Speaker 1: A glowing flower of some kind. You fly down towards
- 11:32Speaker 1: the flower and land in a field. The flower is
- 11:37Speaker 1: a bright blue color and it seems to be giving
- 11:40Speaker 1: off a cold feeling. You reach out and touch the flower.
- 11:46Speaker 1: And as you do, your body glows and feels a
- 11:50Speaker 1: surge of power once again. You reach your hand out
- 11:55Speaker 1: and suddenly a little ball of ice shoots out and
- 12:00Speaker 1: hits the tree in front of you, encasing it in ice.
- 12:05Speaker 1: The trees around you begin to shake. And then out
- 12:10Speaker 1: of them walk little tiny creatures that seem to be
- 12:14Speaker 1: made of leaves. One of the creatures jumps up in
- 12:18Speaker 1: the air straight towards you, and instinctively you shoot it
- 12:23Speaker 1: with an ice ball. Ten points, a voice says. What?
- 12:30Speaker 1: Ten points? All of the other leaf creatures begin to
- 12:35Speaker 1: bounce towards you and jump up in the air. So,
- 12:39Speaker 1: you figure your job is to freeze them. One by
- 12:43Speaker 1: one as they jump, You shoot little balls of ice
- 12:46Speaker 1: into the air, catching each one, turning it to ice.
- 12:50Speaker 1: And with each one, you get ten more points.
- 12:55Speaker 2: Cool.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Calculating points, another voice says. Suddenly little coins appear in
- 13:03Speaker 1: the air above you, and then they gently float down
- 13:07Speaker 1: into your hands. You're holding a hundred gold coins. Cool.
- 13:16Speaker 1: You place the gold coins in your pocket and you
- 13:20Speaker 1: decide it might be time to go try on another costume.
- 13:24Speaker 1: You bounce back up into the trees and up into
- 13:28Speaker 1: the air, spreading your wings and gliding back to the
- 13:31Speaker 1: magic tree where you found the costume in the first place.
- 13:36Speaker 1: You land outside the tree and head back in. You
- 13:41Speaker 1: unzip the suit and take off the hat And the
- 13:44Speaker 1: power seems to drop away as well. You hang the
- 13:49Speaker 1: suit back up and you begin to look around the
- 13:51Speaker 1: room for something else. You come across a bright blue
- 13:56Speaker 1: suit with the picture of a lightning bolt on it.
- 14:00Speaker 1: You take the suit off and you believe you recognize
- 14:05Speaker 1: this as well. It's another one of your favorite gaming characters.
- 14:10Speaker 1: One that can move incredibly fast. You quickly step into
- 14:15Speaker 1: the suit, zip it up behind you, and you feel
- 14:20Speaker 1: a surge of power pass through your body. But this
- 14:23Speaker 1: time the power makes you want to move really fast.
- 14:26Speaker 1: It makes you want to do everything really fast. You
- 14:30Speaker 1: jump towards the door and you're there in an instant.
- 14:34Speaker 1: When you think about stepping into the little space in
- 14:37Speaker 1: front of you, you're just there instantly as well. Cool.
- 14:43Speaker 2: Cool.
- 14:45Speaker 1: You line up down a trail and you think about
- 14:48Speaker 1: running really, really quickly. And all around you is a
- 14:54Speaker 1: swirl of air spinning towards the direction you want to go,
- 14:59Speaker 1: shooting leaves up behind you until you release the energy
- 15:03Speaker 1: and you begin running through the forest as fast as
- 15:07Speaker 1: you can possibly imagine. Luckily, when you need it to,
- 15:11Speaker 1: your thoughts seem to slow everything down and it's as
- 15:16Speaker 1: if everything else is in slow motion as you run
- 15:20Speaker 1: by it quickly. The birds and leaves and deer just
- 15:25Speaker 1: seem frozen in the air as you pass at amazing speed,
- 15:30Speaker 1: zooming around trees and over logs until you come to
- 15:36Speaker 1: a stream. As you look at the stream, the water
- 15:41Speaker 1: looks more like ice than water, You have a strange
- 15:46Speaker 1: feeling that you'll be able to run directly onto it,
- 15:49Speaker 1: so you do. And you find that the water doesn't
- 15:54Speaker 1: give way like it probably should. It's a little bit
- 15:58Speaker 1: bouncier than the ground, but just as solid. You begin
- 16:03Speaker 1: running up the stream, and you watch as water splashes
- 16:07Speaker 1: up behind you. But again, the water seems as solid
- 16:13Speaker 1: as anything else. Soon you move so far up the
- 16:17Speaker 1: stream that you come to a waterfall. The little dripping
- 16:21Speaker 1: pieces of water look like stones that you can jump onto,
- 16:25Speaker 1: and you begin jumping left and right off each of
- 16:28Speaker 1: the pieces of water, straight up the waterfall. You land
- 16:34Speaker 1: at the top, run over to the side, and you
- 16:38Speaker 1: suddenly stop running. Everything resumes its normal speed once again,
- 16:46Speaker 1: The birds are flying like they used to and the
- 16:49Speaker 1: deer are running and the leaves are falling and you
- 16:52Speaker 1: can feel the wind against your hair. Whoa, super speed, cool,
- 17:01Speaker 1: you say. You power up the speed once again and
- 17:05Speaker 1: you run down the waterfall, back down the stream and
- 17:10Speaker 1: through the forest. As you see the tree in front
- 17:14Speaker 1: of you, you come to a sudden stop. You open
- 17:18Speaker 1: the door and walk inside. You hear your watch beeping.
- 17:23Speaker 1: Oh no, it's time I'm supposed to be home, you realize.
- 17:27Speaker 1: You quickly take off the special suit and hang it
- 17:30Speaker 1: back up in the tree. Then you step out of
- 17:34Speaker 1: the tree, back into the forest and close the door
- 17:38Speaker 1: behind you. Maybe I'll come back another time. You say
- 17:43Speaker 1: to yourself. You run back down the forest path, but
- 17:48Speaker 1: this time at a normal speed without any special powers.
- 17:53Speaker 1: You head back down the sidewalk and then you take
- 17:57Speaker 1: whatever other series of steps you need to to get
- 17:59Speaker 1: back to your house. You open the door to your home,
- 18:04Speaker 1: walk inside and head straight for your bedroom. You're exhausted
- 18:09Speaker 1: from using all of those different powers. You wave hi
- 18:13Speaker 1: to your adults on the way by, and you go
- 18:17Speaker 1: to lay down in your bed. You pull back the covers,
- 18:23Speaker 1: slide on to the mattress, and you pull the covers
- 18:27Speaker 1: up to your chin. Your eyelids are feeling heavy, so
- 18:32Speaker 1: you just let them close. You begin to take long, slow,
- 18:38Speaker 1: deep breaths, and with each out breath, You let your
- 18:43Speaker 1: muscles relax a little bit. You sink down deeper and
- 18:49Speaker 1: deeper into the mattress and you allow your mind to
- 18:54Speaker 1: wander away to new things and dreams of new adventures
- 19:00Speaker 1: to come. Imagine yourself waking up in the morning, stretching
- 19:05Speaker 1: your arms and legs and getting up out of bed.
- 19:10Speaker 1: You remember that it's costume day at school. You have
- 19:14Speaker 1: to find a costume quickly. You begin running around the house,
- 19:19Speaker 1: looking through all of your drawers and through your closet,
- 19:23Speaker 1: running from place to place, and trying to find where
- 19:26Speaker 1: you put your Halloween costume. But it's nowhere to be found.
- 19:32Speaker 1: Someone calls to you from the kitchen. Honey, it's time
- 19:36Speaker 1: to go to school, the voice says. Oh no, I
- 19:42Speaker 1: have to get going. You go to the kitchen, you
- 19:46Speaker 1: eat a pretty amazing breakfast that's been made for you.
- 19:50Speaker 1: and then you head out the door without a costume.
- 19:55Speaker 1: You begin to walk down the street, and that's when
- 19:58Speaker 1: you remember the costume tree. That tree that you went
- 20:03Speaker 1: to where every costume you put on came to life.
- 20:07Speaker 1: Maybe you could find it again and Maybe you could
- 20:11Speaker 1: find a costume in it to wear today and for Halloween.
- 20:16Speaker 1: You begin to look along the side of the road.
- 20:19Speaker 1: It looks pretty normal for a while. But then you
- 20:23Speaker 1: come to a strange path that seems to lead into
- 20:28Speaker 1: a forest lined with jack-o'-lanterns. Little pumpkins that have been
- 20:33Speaker 1: carved with candles inside them. You follow the path of
- 20:38Speaker 1: jack-o'-lanterns through the forest and you find that there's a
- 20:42Speaker 1: sense of relaxation and calm in the air. You walk
- 20:47Speaker 1: the winding path for a while until you come to
- 20:50Speaker 1: an opening and in the center of the opening is
- 20:54Speaker 1: a huge, very old looking tree. The tree has a
- 21:00Speaker 1: door at its base that goes right into the trunk.
- 21:04Speaker 1: You run up to the door Grab the handle with
- 21:07Speaker 1: your right hand, turn it, and open up the tree.
- 21:13Speaker 1: Just like before, the inside of the tree is like
- 21:16Speaker 1: a huge closet, filled with costumes hanging on every side.
- 21:22Speaker 1: Costumes of all different colors and all different sizes. The
- 21:28Speaker 1: room is lit by something that looks like fireflies that
- 21:32Speaker 1: are floating around in the air. just creating little points
- 21:36Speaker 1: of glowing light everywhere they go. You look around the room,
- 21:40Speaker 1: wondering where you should start. You see a bright, glowing
- 21:45Speaker 1: blue light at the other end. It begins pulsing on
- 21:49Speaker 1: and off. You decide to go check it out. As
- 21:53Speaker 1: you get closer, you see that the light's coming from
- 21:56Speaker 1: a little firebug that's sitting on top of the hangar
- 21:59Speaker 1: to one of the costumes. The firebug flies away, And
- 22:04Speaker 1: you decide to check out the costume that it was
- 22:06Speaker 1: sitting on. You take it off the rack and you
- 22:10Speaker 1: see that it's some sort of superhero costume. It has
- 22:15Speaker 1: a cape. It's made entirely out of red fabric that
- 22:20Speaker 1: feels really neat to the touch. You decide to try
- 22:25Speaker 1: it on. You step your feet inside the legs. Pull
- 22:30Speaker 1: the costume up over your shoulder. and then button it
- 22:34Speaker 1: at the back just behind your head. You hear a
- 22:38Speaker 1: strange noise like a set of bells clinging, and then
- 22:42Speaker 1: a strange sensation passes through your body. A shiver almost
- 22:47Speaker 1: as the suit tightens up around you, changing itself until
- 22:52Speaker 1: it fits you perfectly. Then you feel another sensation, a
- 22:58Speaker 1: sense of strength passing through your muscles. It's as if
- 23:02Speaker 1: every muscle in your body gets a little bigger, a
- 23:06Speaker 1: little bit stronger. You flex your muscles and stretch your
- 23:12Speaker 1: arms out to the side. And then you look down.
- 23:17Speaker 1: You see that you're floating just off of the floor.
- 23:22Speaker 1: You get scared for a moment and fall back down
- 23:25Speaker 1: to the ground, landing pretty gracefully.
- 23:27Speaker 2: You can fly.
- 23:29Speaker 1: You can fly. And you're pretty sure you have super
- 23:34Speaker 1: strength too. This could be the perfect Halloween costume. You
- 23:40Speaker 1: could get from door to door incredibly fast if you
- 23:43Speaker 1: can fly. Just think of all the candy you can collect.
- 23:48Speaker 1: You straighten your body back out and you naturally just
- 23:51Speaker 1: float above the ground. You grab your backpack and you
- 23:55Speaker 1: float out towards the door. Open it up and out
- 23:59Speaker 1: into the forest. You land beside a tree that's nearby
- 24:04Speaker 1: and you decide to test out your strength. You grab
- 24:08Speaker 1: onto the tree and you pull upwards. To your surprise,
- 24:14Speaker 1: the entire tree rips out of the ground. You find
- 24:20Speaker 1: that you can wave it above your head in circles.
- 24:23Speaker 1: It's a huge tree. You begin spinning it around over
- 24:28Speaker 1: your head. tossing it up in the air and catching
- 24:31Speaker 1: it with your other hand. The tree is as easy
- 24:35Speaker 1: to throw around as a tennis ball. Amazing. You straighten
- 24:42Speaker 1: the tree back up and jam it back into the
- 24:45Speaker 1: ground where you found it. Then you use your feet
- 24:48Speaker 1: to pack the dirt around it, hoping that it will
- 24:50Speaker 1: live after this crazy thing that it's been put through
- 24:54Speaker 1: being swung around over a child superhero's head. But in
- 24:59Speaker 1: deciding that that's not really relevant information for the story,
- 25:03Speaker 1: you focus your attention back to the idea of flying.
- 25:09Speaker 1: You do the same thing you did before, stretching your
- 25:12Speaker 1: arms up over your head and then out your sides.
- 25:16Speaker 1: And you can feel a new sense, a sense that
- 25:20Speaker 1: lets you push up off the ground and into the air.
- 25:25Speaker 1: First you float gently up above the trees and then
- 25:31Speaker 1: you let yourself loose, straightening your arms and your legs
- 25:35Speaker 1: and shooting up into the air as quickly as you can.
- 25:40Speaker 1: You quickly shoot up high above the trees, higher than
- 25:44Speaker 1: any building in the area until you pop through the clouds.
- 25:49Speaker 1: You begin bobbing up and down through the clouds using
- 25:53Speaker 1: your newfound superpowers. Then you fly down closer to the
- 25:58Speaker 1: ground looking for something familiar, something that'll help you find
- 26:04Speaker 1: your school. You soon spot it and you follow a
- 26:09Speaker 1: nearby street that looks familiar to you until you come
- 26:13Speaker 1: to your school overhead. You look for a little area
- 26:17Speaker 1: nearby that's secluded where no one will see you flying
- 26:22Speaker 1: because as much as it's really cool to have superpowers,
- 26:26Speaker 1: You're not sure you really want everyone to know you
- 26:29Speaker 1: have superpowers. You land gently, make sure your backpack's secure,
- 26:36Speaker 1: and you walk back out where the other kids are
- 26:39Speaker 1: just entering the school. You join one of the lines,
- 26:43Speaker 1: you go inside and go to your classroom. And the
- 26:47Speaker 1: day's pretty normal. The teachers give out a little more
- 26:51Speaker 1: candy than they normally would, and everyone around you is
- 26:55Speaker 1: dressed up in something After doing some special Halloween-themed class lessons,
- 27:03Speaker 1: you and your friends head outside for recess. Everyone decides
- 27:08Speaker 1: that you should maybe play soccer, or football as many
- 27:11Speaker 1: of you know it as. One of your friends has
- 27:14Speaker 1: brought out a soccer ball. You go and create some
- 27:17Speaker 1: makeshift nets on either side of the field, and you
- 27:21Speaker 1: and your friends begin to play. You're elected to be
- 27:25Speaker 1: the first goalie, so you step back towards the goal
- 27:29Speaker 1: and you get yourself as ready as you can. Your
- 27:32Speaker 1: newfound strength makes it feel like you could jump really,
- 27:36Speaker 1: really fast and move very quickly. Soon, you have your chance.
- 27:44Speaker 1: The soccer ball is headed towards you with one of
- 27:47Speaker 1: your friends kicking it down the field. You focus on
- 27:51Speaker 1: the ball. And you watch as your friend kicks it
- 27:54Speaker 1: as hard as they can. Strangely, all time around you
- 27:59Speaker 1: seems to slow down. You can see the soccer ball
- 28:04Speaker 1: pushing the air to the sides. It's going so slow.
- 28:08Speaker 1: But strangely, you feel like you can move at a
- 28:10Speaker 1: normal speed. You simply walk over to the area where
- 28:15Speaker 1: the soccer ball is about to hit. You stick out
- 28:19Speaker 1: one of your hands. And you grab it. The soccer
- 28:23Speaker 1: ball stops and time shoots back to normal. Everyone's amazed
- 28:29Speaker 1: at the save you've just made. To them, it must
- 28:33Speaker 1: have looked like you were going incredibly fast. You pick
- 28:38Speaker 1: up the ball, take a few steps forward, and kick
- 28:41Speaker 1: it back towards the other end. That recess every time
- 28:45Speaker 1: the ball comes towards you. Time just immediately slows down
- 28:50Speaker 1: and you easily stop it. Another power you didn't realize
- 28:55Speaker 1: you had. Super speed. When the recess bell rings, you
- 29:01Speaker 1: head back inside and the rest of the day goes
- 29:04Speaker 1: about like normal. When the end of the day comes,
- 29:08Speaker 1: you're very excited because tonight is Halloween and you have
- 29:13Speaker 1: an amazing costume that will allow you to collect more
- 29:17Speaker 1: candy than ever before. Now instead of getting home like
- 29:21Speaker 1: you normally do, You decide to go back in style.
- 29:26Speaker 1: You head back over to the hidden place where you
- 29:28Speaker 1: landed in the morning. You look around and make sure
- 29:32Speaker 1: no one's looking. Then, you focus your concentration on pushing
- 29:38Speaker 1: that magical energy against the ground. And you shoot yourself
- 29:43Speaker 1: straight up in the air. You move so quickly that
- 29:47Speaker 1: even if someone saw it, they'd probably just think it
- 29:49Speaker 1: was a figment of their imagination. Once again, you fly
- 29:55Speaker 1: up through the clouds... bob up and down through them,
- 29:59Speaker 1: trying to catch them in your arms. But they just
- 30:02Speaker 1: sort of float around you as you pass through. You
- 30:07Speaker 1: fly for a while high up above them, feeling the
- 30:11Speaker 1: sunlight against your skin and the air against your face.
- 30:17Speaker 1: It's an amazing sense of freedom to be able to fly.
- 30:22Speaker 1: But soon down below you, the light dims and it's
- 30:28Speaker 1: time to trick or treat. You quickly fly back down
- 30:33Speaker 1: to your house, landing in your front yard and walking inside.
- 30:38Speaker 1: You put your backpack down and you go and search
- 30:41Speaker 1: through the kitchen for as many bags as you can find.
- 30:45Speaker 1: And when you can't find enough, You head to your bedroom.
- 30:49Speaker 1: You take off the pillowcase to all of your pillows.
- 30:53Speaker 1: And you shove them all inside one pillowcase. Then you
- 30:57Speaker 1: realize you're going to need somewhere to keep the candy.
- 31:00Speaker 1: So you head back to your bedroom. You find some
- 31:04Speaker 1: little strings. You hang them out through the window and
- 31:07Speaker 1: you close the window on top of the strings. You
- 31:11Speaker 1: figure that each time you fill one up, you can
- 31:14Speaker 1: just fly back, tie it to one of the strings,
- 31:17Speaker 1: and leave it hanging from your window, giving you lots
- 31:19Speaker 1: of time to fly back somewhere else and get more candy.
- 31:24Speaker 1: When you're ready, you head outside, look around to see
- 31:29Speaker 1: if anyone's watching, and then you jump up into the
- 31:32Speaker 1: air until you're looking down on the world below. You
- 31:37Speaker 1: fly up high enough to get a good view of
- 31:40Speaker 1: the area below you and you look for the area
- 31:43Speaker 1: that has the most lights thinking that it'll be a
- 31:47Speaker 1: really good neighborhood to go trick-or-treating in. You see an
- 31:52Speaker 1: area that looks very bright and as you fly closer
- 31:56Speaker 1: you see that there's all sorts of Halloween decorations on
- 31:59Speaker 1: almost every lawn in this neighborhood. It looks like the
- 32:04Speaker 1: perfect place to go trick-or-treating. You find a tree nearby
- 32:09Speaker 1: and you slowly lower yourself down just behind it and
- 32:14Speaker 1: land gracefully on the ground. Luckily it's dark now so
- 32:19Speaker 1: you don't have to be as careful about hiding your powers.
- 32:24Speaker 1: You activate your super speed and everything around you seems
- 32:28Speaker 1: to freeze. As it does, you run up to a
- 32:32Speaker 1: door that has a group of trick-or-treaters just knocking on
- 32:35Speaker 1: top of it. and you stop in the back of
- 32:37Speaker 1: the line. You let time go back to normal, and
- 32:42Speaker 1: one by one each of the kids gets candy put
- 32:45Speaker 1: in their bag. You stick yours back out, you say
- 32:48Speaker 1: thank you, and just as everyone's turning around, you turn
- 32:53Speaker 1: your super speed back on. You zoom around the children
- 32:57Speaker 1: from that group, and go to the next house that
- 33:00Speaker 1: has a group of children just about to show up.
- 33:03Speaker 1: once again appearing magically behind them, getting some candy, and
- 33:08Speaker 1: then disappearing right away. You do this again and again
- 33:12Speaker 1: and again until you've filled up two entire pillow sacks with, well,
- 33:17Speaker 1: with candy. With the pillowcase full, you fly back up
- 33:22Speaker 1: into the air, back to your house, and you float
- 33:26Speaker 1: just outside your window, where you tie the bag of
- 33:29Speaker 1: candy up to one of the strings that's hanging outside. Then,
- 33:34Speaker 1: grabbing another bag, you zoom back up into the air
- 33:39Speaker 1: and repeat the process. That night, you fly from neighborhood
- 33:45Speaker 1: to neighborhood, filling up your bag with as much candy
- 33:49Speaker 1: as you can. By the end of the night, you've
- 33:53Speaker 1: collected six entire pillowcases or large grocery bags. full of candy.
- 34:02Speaker 1: Thinking that you might have time to do just one more,
- 34:06Speaker 1: you fly back up into the air and look for
- 34:09Speaker 1: a neighborhood you haven't been to yet. You soon find
- 34:14Speaker 1: one and fly down towards it. That's when you see
- 34:18Speaker 1: something that you do not like. There's two bigger and
- 34:24Speaker 1: older looking kids in mean looking costumes who are bothering
- 34:27Speaker 1: a friend of yours. They seem to be bothering your
- 34:31Speaker 1: friend to give them all of their candy. Your friend
- 34:36Speaker 1: tries to resist, but you watch as they push him over,
- 34:40Speaker 1: grab his bag full of candy, and run away. You
- 34:45Speaker 1: quickly drop down to the ground beside your friend. Are
- 34:49Speaker 1: you okay, you say? Yeah, they just stole all my candy. Well,
- 34:57Speaker 1: don't worry. I'll take care of it, you say. Wait
- 35:02Speaker 1: right here. You quickly activate your super speed. You search
- 35:07Speaker 1: around the neighborhood for as many rocks as you can find,
- 35:12Speaker 1: and quickly, using your super speed powers, you rush from
- 35:16Speaker 1: rock to rock and pick up a whole bunch of them,
- 35:20Speaker 1: filling two sacks with rocks. When they're full, you fly
- 35:25Speaker 1: up into the air and look for the two bullies.
- 35:28Speaker 1: You soon see them walking below back to their houses,
- 35:33Speaker 1: jumping up and giving each other a high five for
- 35:35Speaker 1: what a great job they've done. All of the different
- 35:39Speaker 1: things you could do to get revenge for your friend
- 35:41Speaker 1: pass through your head. But you eventually decide to be
- 35:46Speaker 1: nice about the whole thing. Or sort of nice anyways.
- 35:51Speaker 1: You activate your super speed, freezing time around you. and
- 35:57Speaker 1: you fly down towards the bullies, still moving at incredible speed.
- 36:02Speaker 1: You exchange the sacks that the bullies are holding for
- 36:06Speaker 1: the sacks you've filled up with rocks. Then you jump
- 36:11Speaker 1: back up into the air and fly away. The bullies
- 36:15Speaker 1: have no idea that all of their candy is gone.
- 36:21Speaker 1: You fly back to your friend and land a little
- 36:25Speaker 1: distance behind him, then run up a side. Hey, look
- 36:28Speaker 1: what I got, you say. You hold out the sacks
- 36:32Speaker 1: of candy, and your friend takes them. Amazed, way more
- 36:38Speaker 1: candy than they'd collected in the first place. Thanks, they say.
- 36:44Speaker 1: You're welcome. I'll see you tomorrow at school, you say.
- 36:49Speaker 1: You run back off until you're in a dark enough
- 36:51Speaker 1: area that you can jump back up into the air
- 36:54Speaker 1: and fly. You decide that that's probably good enough for
- 36:59Speaker 1: a day's work, and you fly back towards your house,
- 37:04Speaker 1: landing in the front yard and walking inside. No time
- 37:10Speaker 1: to go back to the costume tree right now. You
- 37:15Speaker 1: walk into your room and you unbuckle the costume. As
- 37:19Speaker 1: soon as you undo the button on the back of
- 37:21Speaker 1: your neck, the costume suddenly grows again and becomes very
- 37:25Speaker 1: easy to take off. You put it on a hanger
- 37:29Speaker 1: and hang it up in your room. Then, extremely tired
- 37:34Speaker 1: from the night and knowing that you have lots and
- 37:38Speaker 1: lots of candy hanging safely outside your window, you climb
- 37:43Speaker 1: into your bed and pull the covers up over top
- 37:47Speaker 1: of yourself to your chin Your eyes are becoming heavy,
- 37:52Speaker 1: so you let them close and you let your head
- 37:56Speaker 1: sink down into the pillow. You begin to focus on
- 38:00Speaker 1: your breath, just noticing it as it goes in and out.
- 38:06Speaker 1: And with each breath, you allow your muscles to drain
- 38:11Speaker 1: all of their energy and you allow them to sink
- 38:15Speaker 1: down deep into the mattress. And with each breath, you
- 38:22Speaker 1: go deeper and deeper, allowing your muscles to melt and
- 38:31Speaker 1: allowing your mind to go wherever it wants to go. Now,
- 38:37Speaker 1: if you've listened to Magic Costume Tree episodes before, you
- 38:43Speaker 1: would know that the Magic Costume Tree always appears to
- 38:48Speaker 1: those in need of adventure And today is no different.
- 38:55Speaker 1: You wake up in the morning, go through your usual
- 39:00Speaker 1: morning routine, eat some breakfast, and head outside. As you're
- 39:07Speaker 1: exploring around home, you notice something you haven't seen before.
- 39:14Speaker 1: A little trail off to the side. cutting through all
- 39:18Speaker 1: sorts of branches and little trees, you decide to go
- 39:24Speaker 1: check it out. As you walk through the little path,
- 39:29Speaker 1: you feel a pulse of energy a pulse of energy
- 39:34Speaker 1: that you have felt before you continue down the path
- 39:40Speaker 1: and standing directly in front of you is a gigantic
- 39:45Speaker 1: and very ancient looking tree with a door on the front.
- 39:52Speaker 1: You look behind you and, well, it seems like the
- 39:56Speaker 1: path to home has just sort of disappeared. You walk
- 40:02Speaker 1: up to the large ancient tree, swing open the door,
- 40:07Speaker 1: and step inside. Row upon row upon row of costumes
- 40:15Speaker 1: are hanging in the thing, and As always, one of
- 40:21Speaker 1: them is lit up. It looks kind of furry. You
- 40:26Speaker 1: walk over to the costume that seems to be lit
- 40:30Speaker 1: up by a spotlight. You pick it up off of
- 40:34Speaker 1: the rack and look at it. At first you wonder
- 40:38Speaker 1: if it might be like a monkey costume or something,
- 40:43Speaker 1: but you soon realize that it's a Sasquatch. A sasquatch costume.
- 40:52Speaker 1: You quickly unzip the back, hang up the hanger again,
- 40:56Speaker 1: and step into the costume, one foot at a time.
- 41:02Speaker 1: You zip up the back using a pull string, and
- 41:07Speaker 1: then you feel a strange tingling sensation, as if the
- 41:12Speaker 1: costume and your body are becoming one. You can now
- 41:18Speaker 1: feel every part of the costume as well. The gigantic
- 41:24Speaker 1: costume feet have become your feet. You can bend the
- 41:30Speaker 1: gigantic toes and curl the gigantic feet. Cool. You also
- 41:37Speaker 1: feel stronger somehow, as if you could run 50 miles
- 41:42Speaker 1: without any effort. A sudden clunking sound startles you. You
- 41:49Speaker 1: jump back away from it and, well, you realize it
- 41:53Speaker 1: was just the hanger falling off the rack. You must
- 41:56Speaker 1: not have hung it up properly. But what? What's going
- 42:02Speaker 1: on with your arms and legs? As you look down, you, well,
- 42:07Speaker 1: you can't really see them anymore. You take a deep
- 42:12Speaker 1: breath and relax your body, and as you do, your
- 42:18Speaker 1: arms and legs come back into view. That must be
- 42:23Speaker 1: some sort of Sasquatch reflex. Invisibility. You practice for a moment,
- 42:32Speaker 1: turning the invisibility on and off. You find that by
- 42:36Speaker 1: sort of thinking about that startled state you were in
- 42:40Speaker 1: for a second, the invisibility activates. And by relaxing your
- 42:47Speaker 1: body and muscles, well, you become visible again. You grab
- 42:53Speaker 1: the hanger and hang it up properly this time, and
- 42:57Speaker 1: you decide to head outside, wondering exactly what this Sasquatch
- 43:03Speaker 1: costume can do, and why the magic costume tree appeared
- 43:09Speaker 1: to you today. There's always a reason after all. When
- 43:14Speaker 1: you step outside, you find that the magic costume tree
- 43:19Speaker 1: has somehow relocated itself into the center of a huge forest.
- 43:26Speaker 1: Gigantic old trees grow on either side, which is kind
- 43:33Speaker 1: of perfect for you because for some reason, running through
- 43:38Speaker 1: the forest, Feels like the best thing you could possibly do.
- 43:43Speaker 1: You run towards the trees and jump up in the air,
- 43:48Speaker 1: instinctively grabbing onto a branch and swinging up higher. You
- 43:54Speaker 1: land on top of another branch and, well, you're blown
- 43:59Speaker 1: away that you just did that. Your arms feel like
- 44:03Speaker 1: they could throw you straight upwards. So much power. You
- 44:09Speaker 1: try again, leaping to another branch and using your arms
- 44:13Speaker 1: to throw yourself up into the air. You fly through
- 44:18Speaker 1: the air, catch on to another branch, and continue to swing,
- 44:23Speaker 1: kind of like a monkey, branch to branch, only you
- 44:29Speaker 1: have so much power that you're able to swing gigantic
- 44:34Speaker 1: distances away. You find yourself sailing through the air, but
- 44:41Speaker 1: it's almost as if the trees are moving towards you
- 44:46Speaker 1: as well. I mean, you're certainly throwing yourself through the
- 44:50Speaker 1: trees and through the air with incredible power and speed,
- 44:54Speaker 1: but the branches seem to move towards your hands too.
- 45:00Speaker 1: You decide to put that to the test. You stop
- 45:04Speaker 1: for a second, hanging from one of the branches, and
- 45:08Speaker 1: reach your arm out. A vine shoots out and wraps
- 45:13Speaker 1: around your hand. Cool. You let go of the branch
- 45:19Speaker 1: and swing down on the vine, moving towards the ground
- 45:24Speaker 1: before shooting upward again. You leap into the air, reach
- 45:29Speaker 1: out your hand, and sure enough, another vine shoots towards you.
- 45:36Speaker 1: You spend a little bit of time making your way
- 45:39Speaker 1: through the forest, jumping from tree to tree, branch to branch,
- 45:44Speaker 1: vine to vine, until you finally allow yourself to drop
- 45:51Speaker 1: down to the ground once again. Your gigantic feet pad
- 45:56Speaker 1: your landing perfectly. Sasquatch must be able to really move.
- 46:03Speaker 1: Surrounded by the trees, you feel your connection to nature
- 46:08Speaker 1: as well. Every bird, every bug, every living creature, every
- 46:16Speaker 1: living plant in the area gives off some kind of
- 46:20Speaker 1: special signal. And when you close your eyes and focus,
- 46:26Speaker 1: you can still sense them. You can feel their life
- 46:30Speaker 1: around you. It's a really neat sensation... And it feels
- 46:36Speaker 1: like it goes deeper than that... You reach your hands out...
- 46:42Speaker 1: Focus your mind... And you start to call the trees
- 46:48Speaker 1: and the flowers to grow... You feel them respond... You
- 46:54Speaker 1: feel them growing up higher and taller... And as you
- 46:59Speaker 1: open your eyes... You watch them do just that. The
- 47:04Speaker 1: trees which were once mere seedlings begin to grow up
- 47:09Speaker 1: through the others, up towards the sky. And below them,
- 47:14Speaker 1: on the ground, beautiful wildflowers bloom at will. You walk
- 47:22Speaker 1: down the forest path and wherever you go, You leave
- 47:27Speaker 1: a trail of incredible wildflowers growing behind you. But you
- 47:34Speaker 1: start to sense something else. Something in the distance. You
- 47:40Speaker 1: start to hear voices, movement. Interesting. You walk over towards
- 47:49Speaker 1: the area where you hear them. You duck down behind
- 47:53Speaker 1: a bush and you look out. There's a huge campsite.
- 48:01Speaker 1: A whole bunch of people. Families, maybe? Kids and adults.
- 48:08Speaker 1: All hanging out in various tents. Really, really large tents.
- 48:15Speaker 1: Cooking meals on campfires. Hanging out and telling stories. And
- 48:22Speaker 1: that's when you hear a scream. You look over to
- 48:26Speaker 1: your right... and see a little girl pointing at you
- 48:31Speaker 1: and yelling at the top of her lungs. You instinctively
- 48:36Speaker 1: activate your invisibility, and the girl looks confused. Her parents,
- 48:42Speaker 1: and someone you assume to be her older brother, run
- 48:46Speaker 1: over to see what's going on. I saw a Sasquatch.
- 48:52Speaker 1: There was a Sasquatch right there. Oh, honey, Sasquatch aren't real.
- 48:59Speaker 1: I'm sure you're just imagining things. It could have been
- 49:02Speaker 1: the shadows or something, her father says. Come on, breakfast
- 49:08Speaker 1: is ready. This way. The family walks over towards a
- 49:13Speaker 1: large tent, a tent where they're cooking breakfast for the
- 49:17Speaker 1: whole group. The girl keeps looking backwards and, well, looking
- 49:23Speaker 1: rather confused. She knows what she saw after all. You
- 49:29Speaker 1: stay invisible and decide to get a better vantage point.
- 49:34Speaker 1: You kinda wanna see what's going on. You throw yourself
- 49:38Speaker 1: up a tree as quickly as you can until you
- 49:41Speaker 1: can see out over the entire camp. As you listen in,
- 49:47Speaker 1: you discover that it's some sort of company camping trip
- 49:51Speaker 1: for employees and their families. When they're done breakfast, the
- 49:57Speaker 1: boss gathers them around. Alright everybody, thank you for coming
- 50:03Speaker 1: to our annual camping trip. As you know, It's very
- 50:10Speaker 1: important to us to have everyone together. It builds teamwork
- 50:17Speaker 1: and camaraderie. And this year, we have a very special edition.
- 50:26Speaker 1: I'm here to announce the prize for winning the family competition. $ 5, 000
- 50:33Speaker 1: cash and.
- 50:39Speaker 1: This wonderful trophy. The crowd gasps. That's a lot of money.
- 50:47Speaker 1: I'll be keeping all of this in our tent right here.
- 50:52Speaker 1: The company tent. While the rest of us go off
- 50:58Speaker 1: to the egg on a spoon competition. Follow me, everyone.
- 51:06Speaker 1: The man moves inside his tent and, well, you can
- 51:10Speaker 1: tell that he places the money and the gigantic trophy inside.
- 51:16Speaker 1: Then he leads the crowd away, presumably to one of
- 51:20Speaker 1: those competitions where you have to hold an egg on
- 51:23Speaker 1: a spoon and run around an obstacle course without breaking it.
- 51:27Speaker 1: Classic company camping stuff. You're about to go watch to
- 51:33Speaker 1: see who wins the competition. when your Sasquatch senses tell
- 51:38Speaker 1: you that somebody else is here, somebody else is nearby.
- 51:46Speaker 1: You jump to the next tree and begin to swing
- 51:49Speaker 1: through the air, still completely invisible. You land atop a
- 51:55Speaker 1: nice sturdy branch and look down below you. Two men
- 52:01Speaker 1: dressed in camouflage And holding bows and arrows are peeking
- 52:07Speaker 1: out on the campsite as well. Did you hear that?
- 52:13Speaker 1: One of them says. Five thousand dollars. And look at
- 52:19Speaker 1: all this camping gear they have. These people are glampers.
- 52:27Speaker 1: Expensive coolers. Expensive supplies. If we can take it for
- 52:36Speaker 1: our own, we'll make out like bandits. But what are
- 52:43Speaker 1: we going to do with all that camping stuff? The
- 52:46Speaker 1: other man asks. Well, I'll pawn it or something. I
- 52:52Speaker 1: don't know, but at least that $ 5, 000 cash won't be
- 52:56Speaker 1: hard to get rid of. Oh, no. They're planning to
- 53:04Speaker 1: rob the company camping trip? That's terrible. You continue to
- 53:11Speaker 1: watch as the two men in camouflage sneak through the
- 53:16Speaker 1: now mostly empty campsite. You can still hear the campers
- 53:22Speaker 1: off in the distance, cheering and laughing and crying as
- 53:28Speaker 1: they compete for the best egg spoon holder person. The
- 53:34Speaker 1: men unzip the tent, step inside, and begin to rummage around.
- 53:41Speaker 1: You can't let this happen, you realize. And with your
- 53:47Speaker 1: Sasquatch powers, maybe you don't have to. You leap down
- 53:53Speaker 1: off of the tree and land gracefully using your gigantic
- 53:58Speaker 1: Sasquatch feet. You quietly move over to the entrance of
- 54:04Speaker 1: the tent, and you watch as the men grab the $ 5, 000
- 54:08Speaker 1: and shove it in their pockets. Then, they grab a
- 54:14Speaker 1: gigantic and very nice looking cooler, dump the food out
- 54:19Speaker 1: on the ground, and start shoving everything else they can
- 54:24Speaker 1: find inside it, anything that looks valuable at all. You
- 54:30Speaker 1: hear someone else approaching as well. I'll be right back.
- 54:35Speaker 1: I'll just go grab that from the company tent, the
- 54:38Speaker 1: voice says. The same father from before. You back up
- 54:45Speaker 1: to allow him to move towards the tent. He looks
- 54:49Speaker 1: inside and meets eyes with the two men. Hey, who
- 54:55Speaker 1: are you and what are you doing here?
- 54:58Speaker 2: You.
- 55:00Speaker 1: Oh, no. The men hold up their bows and point
- 55:05Speaker 1: them towards the guy. I didn't see anything. I'm sorry.
- 55:11Speaker 1: It's too late for that. We're gonna have to tie
- 55:17Speaker 1: you up until we can get out of here. Oh,
- 55:23Speaker 1: no need for that. I won't tell anyone at all.
- 55:27Speaker 1: You decide that this might be your moment to act.
- 55:32Speaker 1: You step into the tent, still invisible, and then appear
- 55:37Speaker 1: out of nowhere. You quickly reach out and grab one
- 55:42Speaker 1: of the bows and arrows. You throw it outside as
- 55:45Speaker 1: quickly as you can. All three men yell in surprise,
- 55:51Speaker 1: and the other man points his bow and arrow towards you.
- 55:55Speaker 1: Before he can shoot, vines shoot up out of the ground.
- 56:00Speaker 1: Vines that you've instinctively called on. They wrap around the
- 56:06Speaker 1: bow and arrow, around the man's legs and arms. The
- 56:11Speaker 1: other man looks at his friend, looks at you, and
- 56:15Speaker 1: tries to run outside. You quickly reach out and grab
- 56:20Speaker 1: his jacket, lifting him up into the air in front
- 56:24Speaker 1: of you. Wow, you really are powerful. Vines shoot out
- 56:30Speaker 1: of the ground again and tie him up as well. There,
- 56:36Speaker 1: there really is a Sasquatch, the other guy says. Um, yes,
- 56:45Speaker 1: you respond, trying to use the deepest voice you can.
- 56:50Speaker 1: We Sasquatch are here to help you. Do not be afraid. Uh, okay.
- 57:00Speaker 1: I guess not. You did save us after all. That
- 57:05Speaker 1: man has stolen your money. You will find it in
- 57:11Speaker 1: his pockets. Uh, okay. Looks like they dumped out all
- 57:18Speaker 1: of our food too. It's covered in dirt. It's not
- 57:22Speaker 1: going to be any good at all anymore. No, I
- 57:28Speaker 1: am sorry. Perhaps I can help. You walk outside and
- 57:38Speaker 1: reach down into the ground using your mind. Suddenly, things
- 57:44Speaker 1: begin to grow. Little plants, little bushes, little trees shoot
- 57:50Speaker 1: up out of the ground. They grow flowers, and the
- 57:55Speaker 1: flowers turn into fruit and berries. Until there's a, well,
- 58:02Speaker 1: kind of a gigantic food forest sitting in front of you,
- 58:07Speaker 1: just outside the tent. How, how did you do that?
- 58:13Speaker 1: the man asks. We Sasquatch have our secrets. Now, um,
- 58:22Speaker 1: call the police or something. I must go. Oh, uh,
- 58:30Speaker 1: thank you, and, uh, see you later? Yes, or probably not.
- 58:38Speaker 1: You respond. You activate your invisibility once again. and you
- 58:44Speaker 1: run away from the campsite. You jump to the trees,
- 58:50Speaker 1: grab onto a branch, and begin to swing, branch to branch,
- 58:56Speaker 1: vine to vine, flying gracefully through the air. At times
- 59:02Speaker 1: you run, and at times you move through the trees
- 59:06Speaker 1: until you see the familiar ghost of the magic costume
- 59:13Speaker 1: tree you leap out of the forest and land in
- 59:18Speaker 1: the clearing outside the thing it feels as though it's
- 59:23Speaker 1: calling you once again you walk up to the door
- 59:28Speaker 1: swing it open and step inside. You suddenly feel the
- 59:35Speaker 1: costume sort of detach from your body, becoming less a
- 59:41Speaker 1: part of you and more a costume once again. You
- 59:47Speaker 1: unzip the back zipper and pull the costume off. It
- 59:53Speaker 1: feels weird to be normal again. You grab the hanger
- 59:58Speaker 1: and hang it up, zip it up, and put it
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: back on the rack. Thank you, costume tree, you say.
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: That was a fun adventure. In response, the tree just
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: sort of glows. You swing the door open again and
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: step outside. You find that you're no longer in the
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: center of the forest. You see the same path ahead
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: of you that you took to get to the costume
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: tree in the first place. You wave goodbye to the tree,
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: head down the path until you see your home right
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: in front of you. You look back and the path
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: has completely disappeared once again. You head inside your home
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: and directly to your bed. Somehow, even though the Sasquatch
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: costume did most of the work, your muscles are still
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: kind of sore and achy. You climb into your bed,
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: you pull the covers up over top of yourself, and
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: you close your tired eyes. With each breath, you let
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: go of a little more tension in your muscles and
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: sinking down deeper and deeper into the bed. You let
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: go of the tension in your arms. You let go
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: of any tension in your legs. You allow your shoulders
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: to relax and sink into the bed, and you allow
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: your face to sort of soften into a nice half-smile,
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: And once it feels like you're just floating on a cloud,
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: you allow your mind to wander off too. Off to
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: thoughts of new dreams, new adventures, and new costumes to come.
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: Good night, everyone. You wake up in your very own bed,
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: inside your very own home. There's a strange feeling in
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: the air, a tingling sensation of sorts that makes the
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: hair on your arms and legs stand on end. It's
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: the same feeling you normally get when the magic costume
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: tree appears. You quickly get dressed, eat breakfast, and run outside,
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: hopeful that wherever you go, the magic costume tree may
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: be waiting. You start to search all around your home,
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: behind it, beside it, in front of it, you know,
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: every direction you can walk, but no matter where you go,
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: you don't see the magic costume tree anywhere. You sit
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: down on the ground, place your elbows on your knees,
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: and smack your hand into your head, disappointed. You were
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: really hoping you'd see it today. When you look up, well,
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: you realize that you're not standing where you were before. Somehow,
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: you're in the middle of a forest. You look to
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: your right, and sure enough, the magic costume tree is
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: standing there, in the middle of a clearing surrounded by trees. Excited,
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: you get up and run towards the magic costume tree,
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: swinging the door open and jumping inside. Inside, there is
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: row upon row upon row of costumes. You begin to
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: look through all of them, until one of them has
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: that Special glow. That special highlighted glow that tells you
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: it might be the right one for today. It's a large,
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: draping black costume. You pick up the hanger and take
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: it off of the rack. A dragon costume? You unzip
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: the costume, place the hanger back on the rack, and
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: begin to step inside. At first, the costume seems sort
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: of loose and baggy, too big for you. You pull
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: the dragon head hood up over top of your face,
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: and the costume starts to tingle. And then, it begins
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: to change. It shrinks down until it perfectly fits to
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: your body.
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: And.
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: You feel other sensations too, as if the costume is
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: becoming part of your body. Your head merges with the
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: dragon head, and you suddenly have large teeth and eyes
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: that can see things you couldn't see before. Your hands
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: merge with the claws and become one with them, and...
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: I don't know. What's that behind you? You have a
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: few other senses that you didn't used to have. A
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: tail and wings. You also feel wildly, wildly powerful. There's
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: a certain strength running through your muscles that makes you
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: feel like you could pick up a car and throw it.
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: And There's something else deep inside you too. Something that feels, well, hot.
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: You look over in the mirror and you see that, well,
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: you see that you actually look like a real dragon.
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: Or at least a real dragon person. You step outside
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: to get a better idea of your dragon powers. You
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: start by moving over towards a tree. Now, most of
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: the time you wouldn't think that you could, like, you know,
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: pick up a tree. But something feels different today. You
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: take a hold of the tree with both of your claws,
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: which actually sort of dig into it with very little effort.
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: Then you pull upwards and the tree rips out of
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: the ground, roots and all. You swing the tree around
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: your head and throw it up into the air. You
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: watch as the tree sails through the sky and crashes
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: into the other trees below. Cool, you say, before suddenly
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: feeling bad that you just ripped a tree out of
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: the ground for no reason. Maybe you should be a
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: little less destructive with such powerful powers. Next, you decide
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: to test whatever that feeling is in your core. The
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: hot one. Knowing that you're a dragon, you have a
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: pretty good guess. You open your large dragon mouth. You
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: focus on that core of heat inside you. Point your
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: head up straight in the air and breathe out. A
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: huge plume of fire shoots directly up into the sky. Cool. Next,
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: you need to test your wings. You've never had wings before,
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: but something about them is just sort of second nature.
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: You stretch them out to the sides, and you flap
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: them downwards. Now, when you move your hands through the air...
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: It doesn't really feel like you're pushing through anything substantial.
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: But when you push down on giant wings, you can
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: really feel the air. It shoots you up into the sky, and...
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: you flap them again and again and again, rising higher
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: and higher and higher above the magic costume tree and
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: above the forest you were somehow magically transported to. The
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: hot sensation inside your stomach or core or whatever you
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: want to call it suddenly flares up as well. Instead
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: of wanting to shoot fire out of your mouth, it
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: seems to want to shoot out of your wings. You
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: allow the sensation to take over as you spread your
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: wings as wide as they'll go. and you suddenly start
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: to shoot through the air. The fire, or whatever it
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: is in your core, sort of pushes you forward like
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: a thruster or a jet engine. You straighten your body, arms,
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: and legs, and you begin to push forward through the sky,
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: rising high up above the clouds. doing rolls and flips
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: and turns. You spend the next little while getting used
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: to flight. You learn that you can change direction in
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: an instant. You can do barrel rolls and loop-de-loops. The
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: whole thing is incredibly thrilling, honestly. You continue to blast
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: through the sky, high above the forest, high above the world.
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: until something catches your eye. Something catches your dragon eye, anyways.
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: Something you're pretty sure you wouldn't have been able to
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: see with your normal human eyes. There's something on top
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: of the clouds. You shoot directly towards it, and as
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: you get closer, you can make out more and more
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: of it. It looks like Well, it looks kind of
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: like a city floating high above the clouds. And there's
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: other creatures moving around it too. Other dragon creatures. The
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: closer you get, the more dragons you see. Dragons of
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: all different shapes and all different sizes entering the city.
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: leaving the city, and just sort of flying around the city.
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: When you finally get close enough, you glide down and
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: land on the ginormous streets, surrounded by ginormous buildings, each
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: one with ginormous doors. Everything here is made to be
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: big enough for even the largest dragons. Who are you?
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: A voice says from beside you. You turn your head
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: to see a bright blue dragon. Me? Uh, you know,
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: I'm just your everyday, perfectly normal, non-suspicious dragon, you answer. Hmm,
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: I've never seen you before. You must be from one
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: of the other dragon cities. Maybe the southern one? I
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: heard people look kinda weird in the southern one. And
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: you look kinda weird, the dragon says. Uh, yeah, I'm
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: from the southern dragons. We do look kinda different, you say,
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: shrugging your shoulders and allowing your wings to fall down
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: to your side. What's your name, you ask?
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: Me? Me?
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: My name is Millie, and I am a water dragon.
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: As if to demonstrate the point, Millie unleashes a blast
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: of water straight up in the air, which then kind
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: of rains down on top of you. Oh, uh, nice
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: to meet you, Millie. What kind of dragon are you?
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: Millie asks.
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: Huh, well.
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: I'm, uh, I guess I'm a, I'm a fire dragon,
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: you say? And, copying what Millie did, you take in
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: a deep breath and unleash a blast of fire straight
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: up in the air. Oh, fire dragons. Very respectful. Well,
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: are you coming to the meeting? Millie asks. Uh, what meeting?
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: you respond. The meeting with the great dragon. He has
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: called for us all to attend. Oh, well, I guess
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: I'm going to the meeting then. Lead the way, you say.
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: And Millie begins to walk down the street. You follow
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: behind her. As you walk, you pass... All sorts of
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: different dragons. Dragons that seem to be able to command nature,
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: causing plants to grow at will. Dragons that seem to
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: be one with the earth, tossing stones up in the
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: air and, you know, juggling them around. Dragons that seem
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: to rest and float on the air. Must be air dragons,
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: you assume. Some dragons seemed to be sparking with electricity,
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: others glowing with a strange glow, and one even seemed
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: to be a, well, a space dragon if you weren't mistaken.
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: A jet black dragon with little spots that glowed like stars. Eventually,
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: you and Millie arrive at a large castle in the
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: center of the city. Many of the other dragons follow
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: slowly behind. You enter inside and come to a gigantic
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: room that looks like a huge dragon stadium. A large
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: opening in the middle, sort of at the bottom, and
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: huge rings surrounding it. Rings on all different levels, filled
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: by all different kinds of dragons. It takes a while,
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: but soon the whole stadium is completely packed. A door
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: at the bottom of the arena opens up, and all
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: of the dragons instinctively hush. A huge dragon wanders out
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: very slowly, each of his steps perched shakes the stadium
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: just a little bit. Uh, who's that, you ask? You
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: really aren't from around here, are you? Millie says. That
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: is our elder dragon, the ruler of this city. I
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: think he's about to make a speech. The large dragon
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: clears his throat. And... A huge necklace around his neck
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: with a gigantic gem on it begins to glow. Welcome,
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: brothers and sisters. I have gathered you here for a
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: very good reason. I believe it is time. to show
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: the humans the power of the dragons. For far too long,
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: we have allowed the humans to rule the world, or
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: to believe they do anyways. Some of what they have
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: done is good, But other choices are proving less desirable.
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: Today is the day we take over. You're shocked to
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: hear these words. Really? Dragons are going to take over
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: the world?
- 1:18:28Speaker 2: What?
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: You look to your left and right, wondering if all
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: of the dragons feel this way. But all you see
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: is their eyes glowing red. The same color red as
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: the elder dragon's necklace. We will listen. we will obey
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: the dragons respond uh Millie are you okay you ask
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: must listen must obey Lily says, her eyes still glowing
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: a bright red color. You look down at the elder
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: dragon and the necklace that he's wearing around his neck.
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: It does have a strange pull to it. Your eyes
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: almost get lost in it for a second, but the
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: human parts of you seem to take over and you're
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: able to shake it off. The dragons begin to leave
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: the stadium. Then, they leave the castle. You follow behind,
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: seeing exactly where it is that Millie's about to go.
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: As soon as the dragons exit, one by one they
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: take off into the sky. They fly up over top
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: of the city and down towards the earth. Oh no,
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: this can't be good, you say. You jump into the air,
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: spreading your wings and activating your sort of natural dragon thrusters.
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: You blast up over top of the city and dive
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: down towards the earth, following Millie as carefully as you can,
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: even though she pretty clearly seems to be in some
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: sort of trance. You dive down towards the ground and
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: you watch as swarms of dragons begin to unleash their
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: powers towards the cities and towns below, blasting them with
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: ice and fire, lightning, water, and even poison in some cases. Millie,
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: I don't think this is a good idea, you say.
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: You think about fighting back, but there's just so many
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: of them. There's no way you could stop this many
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: dragons who are under, well, mind control? Is that what's
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: going on? Wait a second. It's the necklace, isn't it?
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: You realize? If you're gonna stop all of this, then
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: you need to stop the elder dragon. And You need
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: to destroy the necklace or steal it or something. It
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: does look like a big dragon, but at least it's
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: only one dragon and not an entire dragon army. You
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: turn back and activate your thrusters in your wings once again,
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: shooting you up high into the sky. You swoop up
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: over top of the clouds until you spot the Dragon
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: City once again. You blast off towards it, and without hesitation,
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: you zip into the castle, into the arena, and float
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: high up above the Elder Dragon, who's just sort of
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: standing there with his eyes closed, You spot the necklace
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: hanging around his neck, and you decide that, well, you
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: should probably just go for it before he realizes that
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: something's up. You aim at the necklace, and with all
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: of your might and with all of your willpower, you
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: shoot straight down towards it. Your natural dragon thruster is
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: pushing you downward at incredible speed. You reach out your
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: dragon claws and you snatch the necklace straight off of
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: the elder dragon's neck, rolling on the ground as you land.
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: Who are you? the elder dragon says. Give me back
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: that necklace. I don't really think I should, you say.
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: And with that, you spread your wings again and shoot
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: up into the air, above the arena, through the castle,
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: and out the door. Unfortunately, you hear something coming after you.
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: The top of the castle suddenly breaks open stone flying
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: everywhere as the huge elder dragon flies into the sky.
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: I'll give you one more chance. Give it to me now,
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: or I'll take it. You turn to face the dragon.
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: I don't really think I should give it back to you.
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: You're trying to take over the world. Well then... You
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: leave me no choice. The dragon takes in a huge breath,
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: its mouth begins to glow a bright red, and it
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: shoots a beam of laser directly towards you. Your dragon
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: instincts kick in and you move to the left quickly,
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: narrowly missing the dragon laser blast or whatever that was.
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: The elder dragon continues to unleash blasts of laser, and
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: you continue to dodge left, right, up, down, until the
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: dragon begins to get sort of tired. You asked for it.
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: The elder dragon's eyes glow, and the crystal in your
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: hands begins to glow as well. I'm going to need
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: some support here, he says to, well, no one you
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: can see. But sure enough, one by one, dragons begin
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: to appear, surrounding you from all sides. Unsure what else
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: to do, you look down at the glowing necklace. You
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: reach inward for all of your dragon's strength, and you
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: press the gem together, trying to crush it with all
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: of your might. It resists at first, but as you
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: flex your muscles as hard as you can, the gem
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: gives way and collapses between your hands, breaking into little
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: pieces that luckily don't hurt you at all. The gem
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: suddenly explodes in a blast of light, one that doesn't
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: hurt you, but does temporarily blind you, forcing you to
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: look in the other direction. As you begin to blink
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: your eyes open once again, you look around you and
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: you see all of the dragons kind of rubbing their
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: eyes and shaking their heads. Millie flies over beside you. Wait,
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: what just happened? she asks. I believe that the elder
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: dragon was using some sort of mind control crystal to
- 1:27:14Speaker 1: convince all of you to take over the world. He
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: was what? That is against the dragon code. Very against
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: the dragon code, Millie says, staring over at the elder dragon.
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: The elder dragon just sort of looks left, looks right,
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: and begins to slowly step away as the other dragons
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: slowly surround him with very disappointed glares.
- 1:27:54Speaker 2: Ha ha.
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: We are sorry about this, Millie says. Please tell your
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: people at the Southern Dragon Tribe, or wherever it is
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: you weird-looking creatures come from, that we are sorry. We
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: will take care of our elder. Thank you for freeing us.
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: You're welcome, you say. and a strange pull starts to
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: tug on you. Your wings spread, and you float up
- 1:28:30Speaker 1: into the air. I guess it's time for me to go,
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: you say, waving goodbye as you're drunk. costume starts to
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: pull you back towards the costume tree. You shoot through
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: the sky, down and above the forest, until you soon
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: float down and into the costume tree once again. You
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: land softly on the ground, and with a sudden, kind
- 1:29:06Speaker 1: of shivering feeling, the costume detaches itself from your body.
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: It grows bigger and sort of hangs off of you
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: like it did before. You unzip the zipper, step out
- 1:29:24Speaker 1: of the costume, and hang it up once again. Knowing
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: that the adventure is over, at least for now, you
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: leave the magic costume tree and you see a path
- 1:29:39Speaker 1: in front of you, one that you hadn't noticed before.
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: You walk through the path, push apart some trees and shrubs,
- 1:29:51Speaker 1: and emerge directly in front of your home once again.
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: You look back and... the forest is entirely gone. You
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: enter your home, go straight to your bed, and crash
- 1:30:09Speaker 1: down on top of it. You pull the covers up
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: over top of yourself, you close your eyes, and you
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: begin to just breathe. Your muscles feel different without the
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: dragon costume on, but They also feel very, very relaxed.
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: With each breath, you sink down a little deeper into
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: the mattress, and your mind begins to wander off to
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: new dreams, new adventures, and new costumes to come. Good night, everyone.
- 1:31:39Speaker 2: Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
- 1:36:03Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 1:37:09Speaker 2: Thank you. Thank you.
- 1:38:39Speaker 1: Amen.
- 1:39:37Speaker 2: Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
- 1:45:49Speaker 2: Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
- 1:49:24Speaker 1: Amen.
- 1:50:17Speaker 2: You Thank you. Thank you.
- 1:53:50Speaker 1: You you.
