- 0:02podcast Woo. Wow.
- 0:05Anybody. Know anybody too?
- 0:10You growled again. Growl I I like you.
- 0:16Early on that one a little bit and I'll wrap this up.
- 0:21Can you imagine just recording up?
- 0:22It's always stop after the woos. Welcome into Bangor Management,
- 0:28the fantasy hockey podcast with your host Jake, Josh and Kevin
- 0:34didn't work today. We're going to be doing our Week
- 0:3721 news and updates episode. Wait for it, I'm not done.
- 0:43You can expect some tidbits as well.
- 0:46We almost rioted. Yeah, yes, as always, please
- 0:52follow us on Spotify and Apple Podcast if you like what you
- 0:56hear and rates five stars and you can find the link to our
- 0:59socials in the link tree, which is guess where the podcast
- 1:02subscription, sorry, give it. Away.
- 1:04Was that a rhetorical I was getting also gonna get?
- 1:07Lazaro sorry, next time. Next time.
- 1:09So let's get into the tidbits. Sean Monahan timeline for his
- 1:13injury has been extended. He's not expected to be back
- 1:16until late March. Well.
- 1:21Yep, that's pretty much it. No, I mean, like we already
- 1:23didn't know when he was going to be back, but like, it wasn't
- 1:26gonna be that soon. But they just announced that
- 1:28it's gonna be even later than expected at this point.
- 1:31I'm not counting him as an asset in fantasy.
- 1:33I think he's not going to be back before a fantasy.
- 1:35Season You might come back for week 25, but are you even going
- 1:37to start him in your? That's like a guy coming back
- 1:39from like injury like that. I mean, this is great for
- 1:42Fantilli. If there was any doubt that he's
- 1:44aligned 1. 30 something. Crazy.
- 1:46Yeah, we're going to mention him in our streamers until he gets
- 1:49to that 40% threshold, then we can't talk about him anymore.
- 1:52But yeah, now that's a no brainer.
- 1:54Yeah, the reason most Rozerem, but yeah, always Speaking of
- 1:57Columbus. Would you feel comfortable
- 1:59dropping Sean Monahan IR? Almost, yeah.
- 2:03See if you have the free spot. There's no reason to, but I
- 2:05would not feel bad dropping him. I really don't think he's coming
- 2:07back for the fantasy season. Yeah, alright.
- 2:11Speaking of Columbus. Yegor Chiniki V is healthy and
- 2:16is going to return to line 2 Power play 2 for Columbus.
- 2:19This was what we expected. I think we had some doubts.
- 2:22Maybe he slides back into line one, but like dash, line 1 is
- 2:24just clicking too. Much, But honestly, this line 2
- 2:26is a really good line too. It's Jenner, Johnson and now
- 2:30Chikov. Yeah, I like that a lot in even
- 2:31strength line. I'm less enthused about power
- 2:33play too. Don't think that's gonna do
- 2:35much. But but yeah, I mean, he's a
- 2:37good shooter and hitter. So if you need a guy speculative
- 2:40ad he didn't he's been back for one game.
- 2:42Got like three shots in two hits.
- 2:44Your points, he's more of a bigger than you than you think.
- 2:47Yeah, look at you. Like OK, going to get shots and
- 2:49points, but like he's banging. Yeah, he's very bangaly
- 2:53relevant. And we talk about bangers here.
- 2:56Yep, Yeah. I'm just thinking there's no one
- 2:59he'd really replace on that first power play.
- 3:01Maybe. Maybe Ken Johnson at some point.
- 3:02But not even too well. Yeah.
- 3:04So maybe. He's buried on.
- 3:05The second power play for you really have no reason to change
- 3:08it there. Line one power play one like.
- 3:10It just doesn't make sense. Yeah, OK.
- 3:13Jack Hughes was injured on Sunday.
- 3:16He is out for. The Season out for the season
- 3:21and it's a huge blow to, I mean, fantasy owners absolutely,
- 3:26because obviously he's a stud first round pick for the Devils.
- 3:30They're probably just cost and they already got to play out
- 3:31spots. So they're like, OK, why?
- 3:33They're gonna get the extra cap room.
- 3:34They'll be able to make an extra move probably.
- 3:36Honestly even before this use injury I'm not sold on the
- 3:39Devils even doing really poorly and.
- 3:41But they have a playoff spot, so they're like.
- 3:42Do they though? Because Columbus could pass them
- 3:45in the if you look at their if you look at.
- 3:47The. It's not even that unreasonable.
- 3:49Like Columbus could pass New Jersey and New Jersey could drop
- 3:52out of the playoffs without Jack Hughes.
- 3:55This was the next point, but Dougie Hamilton also day-to-day.
- 3:57Can be injured. The Rangers, too, They close.
- 4:00They're also just have not been good even with these guys in the
- 4:02lineup, so I don't think they're gonna get better with these guys
- 4:04out of the lineup. So we'll see what moves they
- 4:06make at the deadline, but I don't think there's a lock for a
- 4:08playoff spot. The thing is, I'd be shocked if
- 4:11they didn't even slide into a wild card spot.
- 4:15Anything's possible, but. They've been really, really bad.
- 4:18Yeah, they just got married back though.
- 4:20Not that Jake Allen has been bad, but.
- 4:22Yeah. But anyway, so he was out for
- 4:24the season. I think the biggest beneficiary
- 4:25of this is Timo Meyer. Yep, it's demo time.
- 4:28Oh yeah, it's definitely Timo time.
- 4:30What's your Jingle? Is it?
- 4:31Give me fuel, give me fire. Give me Timo Bleeping Meyer.
- 4:36The one with us, No. Just if Timo ever does anything
- 4:41and you go into that his like fantasy chat just being blasted
- 4:44everywhere. That's like Canon song you.
- 4:46Know Canon? But like a little bit different,
- 4:48but gave me free. Yeah, exactly.
- 4:53Yeah, this this sucks for Hughes owners.
- 4:55It's just like probably season ending because you likely picked
- 4:59a first round. You used a first round pick on
- 5:00him, you know? Yeah.
- 5:01Can you pivot out of this if you own Jack Hughes Realistic?
- 5:04Pick up team Will Meyer now. Pick up Turbo Teravainen.
- 5:07Honestly, yeah. You really?
- 5:09I will say one thing with Hughes is that that type of archetype
- 5:13is easier to replace, I think, in like the short term, yeah.
- 5:15Like the thing that you can pick up a guy who will contribute
- 5:19points, like the shots is what makes them so special.
- 5:21So that I think is the hardest to replace.
- 5:23But you can pick up a guy who's gonna get you a lot of points in
- 5:26one week and no banger cats. The difference with a player who
- 5:29obviously makes superstars, he does it throughout the entire
- 5:31season. Yeah, so.
- 5:32But with so little time left in the season, obviously it's a
- 5:35loss no matter what, but you could be able to find a way.
- 5:37Out you can stream like 60 to 80% of his production type of
- 5:41thing like you can get some like two shots a game and and 70% of
- 5:45his points yeah. That's it exactly.
- 5:46It's not like losing one of those like complete like younger
- 5:49players because those guys like you can only really replace
- 5:51their for suction with like 2 separate spots, yeah.
- 5:53Yep. But yeah, so Timo Meyer huge
- 5:56boost. I think most trade deadlines are
- 5:57done. If they're not, I guess probably
- 6:00people are too smart to trade them away at this point once
- 6:01they see the huge. Injury in the first game without
- 6:03cues, you got eight hits, three shots and two points On the 1st
- 6:08power play. Scored a power play goal.
- 6:09Yeah, so it's a good day to be a team of Myer owner, a bad day to
- 6:12be a Jack Hughes owner on the same, you know, talking about
- 6:15the Devils, Devils Dougie Hamilton day-to-day.
- 6:19We don't he like missed most of the game.
- 6:21But they haven't said yet what the issue is.
- 6:23So he could still be back for Friday, but I wouldn't be
- 6:26surprised to see him miss a few games and Luke Hughes will take
- 6:29power play one if he misses any time.
- 6:30Are you interested in Dawson Mercer at all or does this do
- 6:33you think this bumps is value up a little bit?
- 6:35I still don't know, like I know Mercer played a bit of on the
- 6:37power play last game, but I don't know.
- 6:40I don't know if he takes it over Nathan so, but even then I feel
- 6:44like, I feel like in leagues where I feel like Hughes is
- 6:47available in enough leagues that like I would take him over
- 6:49Mercer. And your other Tatar or a pilot
- 6:52or? No, I've had, I've had both of
- 6:54those guys on and off my like a watch list throughout the year
- 6:56and they just never performed consistently.
- 6:58So I'm really not interested. OK, shifting teams.
- 7:02Brady to Chuck, Josh Norris and Shane Pinto all returned to the
- 7:06Senators line up to Chuck his back on power play one and
- 7:08Norris and Pinto are both Power Plate 2.
- 7:11Yeah, this I think the most interesting thing here is going
- 7:13to be between Norris and Shirou, who stays on power play one and
- 7:17who gets power play 2. They've I honestly, I expected
- 7:20Norris to be immediately back on power play one and they've
- 7:22really let Jiru run with it. So now I'm doubting if he's
- 7:25going to lose it at all. I guess it'll really depend on
- 7:27like how well they do, but but yeah, I think that's a really
- 7:31exciting team. They're fighting for a playoff
- 7:33spot. Like they have a great playoff
- 7:34schedule, so and Pinto has just got like a two goal game.
- 7:37I think he has like goals in like two or three straight so.
- 7:40I will say Norris is had a slow start to coming back from
- 7:42injury, like one shot over two games.
- 7:44So definitely not encouraging, but we'll see how it goes.
- 7:47Obviously he's just coming back from another injury.
- 7:49You know, he's a squishy guy. Like he's missed time already.
- 7:51Yeah, super squishy. So we'll see if we can ease into
- 7:54a role, but maybe just wanna be more cautious.
- 7:56I also saw his name and trade rumors like that They're looking
- 7:59to. Trade I've just given up on him
- 8:00honestly. Sometimes you get frustrated as
- 8:02like I don't know if it's like if owners are like fans, you
- 8:04know, but as a fan, like I'm looking at like the haves, like
- 8:07Kirby Doc, right, another season ending injury.
- 8:09Yeah, is like the third year, like he's played like less than
- 8:11half the season and at certain point you're like, alright, we
- 8:13think we have to move on to this guy.
- 8:15It's not that it's their fault. Some a lot of times bad luck,
- 8:17but sometimes. Like scenery can help.
- 8:18Sometimes it exactly, so I wouldn't be surprised if Norris
- 8:22does get moved. I would be surprised actually if
- 8:23a team takes him because of his cap hit and his injury history.
- 8:26Maybe they retain salary. It's like an 8 year deal or
- 8:29something. I don't think you could afford
- 8:30that really. It's a long deal.
- 8:32I mean, who has the room? Would you take him on the Habs?
- 8:35Like if it wasn't for the injury history, Josh, like we really
- 8:38need a line 2C and I really like Josh Norris as a player, but the
- 8:41injury you can't ignore the injury history, you know, and
- 8:43the cap hit, the cap hit super fair if he didn't have the
- 8:45injury history, But with that, then it makes I don't think I
- 8:48would take the risk. Yep, Brad Marshawn out week to
- 8:52week. Morgan Yee takes his spot on
- 8:54power play one. This sucks.
- 8:56Boston definitely like they're sellers at the deadline.
- 8:59They have no chance. I think they've they pretty much
- 9:01given up on this season. When it rained.
- 9:03Terror is finally over. Like not in the playoff hunt and
- 9:08you know, a guy like, you know, on a veteran or a star gets hurt
- 9:12and it's like not a day-to-day thing is a little longer.
- 9:14Like they're just gonna hold him out.
- 9:15Yeah, for sure. And it's funny, like, I think
- 9:17Boston, they kind of gave up on the season while still very much
- 9:20being in the mix. You know, like they're only like
- 9:222-3 points out of a playoff spot, but they've kind of
- 9:24decided like, we're packing it in, we're done.
- 9:27You know, I think this really sucks if you're a swingman.
- 9:29Owner because what do they do? They make the first, they make
- 9:32the wild card in the last wrecked in the first round.
- 9:35So why even do? That it makes sense to to be
- 9:37sellers and to just kind of start the rebuild.
- 9:40Yeah. It sucks for Swamin owners.
- 9:42I think past I think will be fine regardless.
- 9:44He doesn't really depend on Marshall for his production.
- 9:46Hopefully doesn't get banged. Up yeah, I think Geek, he's a
- 9:48great pickup. He's already kind of like solid
- 9:50for bangers leagues. Yeah, he's a category guy.
- 9:52Yeah, exactly. So he's like a solid cat guy,
- 9:54but now that he's getting, he was already lined one also, but
- 9:56now he's power play one as well. I like that a lot.
- 9:59That's a pickup. Lindholm has been a stud.
- 10:02Yeah, he's solid. Yeah, I don't think this Marsha
- 10:05injury actually affects anything, but finally, finally
- 10:08think. Because they play online
- 10:09together and even strength replacement line made is not
- 10:12going to be as good as. Marshall maybe they maybe they
- 10:14stack the. First line is very much past us,
- 10:17Zacha, and that's not changing. Yeah, hopefully it doesn't.
- 10:22Not that he's been so great for points, but at least it's back
- 10:25out. I've woken up.
- 10:25Just slide down. Yeah.
- 10:27Yeah. OK.
- 10:28Jason Zucker is day-to-day with an injury.
- 10:31Alex Tuck is taking his spot on the 1st power play.
- 10:34Alex sucks. Been really good this year.
- 10:36It's funny without power. I had him as like a cell high
- 10:39last week. Yeah, in our last like Cell High
- 10:41episode because. People keep getting hurt.
- 10:42That's it. I was like, this guy, there's no
- 10:44reason, like his deployment is not good enough for him to be
- 10:46doing this well, you know, and then what happens?
- 10:48Jason Zucker gets hurt and he gets power 1 is like, OK,
- 10:50obviously now, you know, I trust this.
- 10:52I trust this production a lot more.
- 10:53Yeah. That being said, I think the
- 10:54second sucker comes back he gets bumped down again so.
- 10:56I wonder if Tucker is in trade talks and that's why they're
- 10:59just like. You know, you think so?
- 11:01I mean, I haven't heard anything about.
- 11:02That I haven't heard anything about that either.
- 11:04I just thought of it now because Zucker's on my team and it's
- 11:07like day-to-day and like next chance to come back will be this
- 11:09game, you know, like they're back-to-back tooth.
- 11:11So. So it's easy to miss both games
- 11:13on back-to-back when you're hurt.
- 11:13I feel like he's been day-to-day for like a week at this point.
- 11:15Yeah. I feel like it's been a lot of
- 11:16like, day-to-day out, day-to-day.
- 11:18Yeah. So it could be some trade thing.
- 11:20You could just be like, it's really not that big of an entry,
- 11:22but it just is taking longer than they expect.
- 11:24So keep an eye on that. But you can't pick up Alex
- 11:27Tucker's already owned in most leagues.
- 11:28But just if you're a duck owner, enjoy it while you can.
- 11:31And again, if you're trade deadline hasn't passed yet, I
- 11:33would really be looking to sell talk before he gets bumped off
- 11:36the power play. Yeah.
- 11:38Yeah, I. Do you think there's any way he
- 11:41stays or no? Like I don't know why I seen.
- 11:43This before people get hurt he gets on there they.
- 11:46Don't think they would like just bum, Jack went.
- 11:47Off and no, no, like they just for some reason, I don't know
- 11:50why they like that looking. At moving dentally, Alex talk
- 11:52like, yeah, just crazy because he went there like from the
- 11:54Vegas deal. He was like his hometown.
- 11:57Like excited to be there. It would be.
- 11:59I think it would be a real mistake for them to get rid of.
- 12:01Him. So it would be classic Buffalo.
- 12:03Yeah, been very good. Yeah, he has been, yeah.
- 12:05I mean, I guess he's on the other side.
- 12:08He's not that old, I don't think.
- 12:10And there's very few players who want to play in Buffalo, you
- 12:12know, like, realistically. So why do you get 1 then?
- 12:15Don't treat ship them out. Exactly.
- 12:16It's ridiculous. Yeah.
- 12:18Yeah, the post Buffalo trade though of course, like all
- 12:21their. Players, yeah, they don't stop.
- 12:23Wherever he goes. So it's going to be exciting,
- 12:26OK? Queen Hughes is day-to-day
- 12:28again. It seems to be a lingering
- 12:30issue. The power play units are a mess
- 12:32and they keep changing so there's no real clear
- 12:35replacement for. Him, yeah.
- 12:36My first instinct when I see Quinn, he was injured is OK, go
- 12:39pick up Phillip Ronick, you know, But I was looking at the
- 12:41power play lines and they just, it's like, it's like if Rod was
- 12:44running, you know, like the Canucks.
- 12:45They keep like shuffling up the lines.
- 12:47Honestly that whole team is a mess and I kinda want no part of
- 12:50it. Yeah, at this point I really
- 12:52thought Patterson would have like a nice turn on, but yeah,
- 12:55yeah, listen, it's really horrible, like.
- 12:58Honest, I like. I don't even know how this
- 13:00happens to. Since the trade, JT Miller has
- 13:0412 points. Yeah, a lot of Patterson is.
- 13:08Yeah, Charles, whatever. Crazy nuts.
- 13:10It's actually crazy. Were you gonna?
- 13:12Say I was gonna say we have some breaking news on a trade, kind
- 13:15of drop it on the pod. Yeah, like just Avin.
- 13:17Yeah, just happened right now. Oh my God.
- 13:19I mean not a huge trade but like some some fantasy relevant guys
- 13:22in deeper in. Deeper leagues like future
- 13:25considerations. Derek for future.
- 13:30No, but Michael Bunting traded from Pittsburgh to Nashville
- 13:35from 4. Tommy Novak and Luke Shen.
- 13:38What? Yeah, very serious.
- 13:39So if you're holding Luke Shen on Nashville for bangers for
- 13:42playoffs, I mean, his schedule just gets decently worse.
- 13:45Yeah, that's crazy though. Buntings out for like the season
- 13:48he's just got. He got he had like I don't know
- 13:50if it was appendicitis or something, but like he's on IR.
- 13:54I guess Nashville doesn't care. They want him for long.
- 13:56Term, probably, yeah. I mean, he's a young guy.
- 13:57Like he can, yeah. They're trading away all their
- 13:59good young. Guys, yeah, that's good.
- 14:01He's good. Yeah, he is what?
- 14:02I mean, Bunting is good too, so I'll give you that.
- 14:05And like, she's pretty old, but like, that's a weird trade.
- 14:08Yeah, well, I I feel like, you know, natural wanna keep the
- 14:11young guys not on a team to compete like Novak.
- 14:13You want. You wouldn't want to get.
- 14:14Rid of That's it. They got it.
- 14:15And then they got rid of Pittsburgh in last.
- 14:17Year gives away bunting for Luke Shen, who's not gonna be
- 14:21relevant to them next year, Probably.
- 14:23Yeah, that's like another old guy that's not.
- 14:25Feel like the Luke, she's kind of like a throw in, like
- 14:28realistically. Because it was some 4th and 5th
- 14:30round picks involved in this table.
- 14:31Not really. It's not competing anytime soon
- 14:33and by the time they're competing again, like she's not
- 14:35going to be on their team. So I view it as a throw in and
- 14:38then so it's pretty much a one for one.
- 14:40Yeah. Both team get kind of young guy
- 14:42although Michael Bunting's like 40 years old but like.
- 14:47This to me says that Raquel is more likely on the move because
- 14:50I think maybe I'll try to play Novak with Crosby.
- 14:54That could be Novak Centre though.
- 14:55Yeah, but like, I'm looking at their centre depth.
- 14:57What, they're gonna put him instead of Cody Gloss on the
- 14:59fourth line? That's strange.
- 15:00You know what I mean? Kevin Hayes third line, maybe
- 15:04Mulkin second and Crosby for Yeah, you know what I mean
- 15:07about. Bing Crosby or Malkin?
- 15:08Play on the wing, though. Yeah, that could maybe work,
- 15:11Yeah. Star started saying.
- 15:14Anymore through no effect on your watch list.
- 15:16Yes, you stand on your watch list too.
- 15:17I mean, he's always good for bangers.
- 15:18Maybe being on the Penguins randomly makes him even.
- 15:21More. Maybe he gets more ice time, I
- 15:22don't know. I can't imagine him getting more
- 15:24ice time on the Penguins, but who knows.
- 15:26I would definitely. Anytime a trade happens, I.
- 15:27Talked to watch just. To see yeah, cool live trade.
- 15:32Man live trade. Yeah, that was fun.
- 15:34Yeah. All right now, big trade.
- 15:37Yeah. Death Jones was traded to
- 15:41Florida for Spencer Knight. Jones lauded into line 2 for
- 15:45management and power play 2 while Knights started
- 15:48immediately and had a ridiculously good game night.
- 15:51Could be a solid pickup for volume rest of season and Jones
- 15:53value decreases with the trade and loss of ice time.
- 15:56Yeah, I just don't see him bumping Eckblad off power Play
- 16:00one. I could see.
- 16:01It I can see it too. But I think it's like I saw like
- 16:04a quote recently where he was like, I'm just happy to be on a
- 16:07team that can win and fully, I'm fully aware.
- 16:09That he doesn't care if he plays keep you one or whatever, he
- 16:11just wants to be in that can win the.
- 16:13Cup, that's it. He was pretty much like, I'm
- 16:14very happy. Like even if I have like a
- 16:16reduced role, I'll do my best in whatever role I'm put in and
- 16:19blah, blah, blah, you know? But like, yeah.
- 16:21So I think if they wanted him on power play one, they would have
- 16:24put him right off the bat. I think at the very least
- 16:26explains getting first shot. Because it's been honestly
- 16:28pretty decent on the property as of late.
- 16:30But if it slows down and whatever then they can.
- 16:33I'm sure they can switch things up.
- 16:34That's pretty. Much it.
- 16:35Yeah, I think. Great for them IRL.
- 16:37Though. IRL for the playoffs I think
- 16:39they needed another huge D because Xbox has been squishy
- 16:42and. Trade for Florida like short
- 16:45term, which is what they want because they are win now team
- 16:48long term. I think it's gonna be a big, I
- 16:49think Spencer and it's gonna be a great goalie in the NHL.
- 16:51But they drafted him and then he know he had off the issues and
- 16:53also, like, Bob just rejuvenated his career to.
- 16:56Yeah. So you can't be paying Bob that
- 16:57much. It's like, it's like Saros and
- 17:00Askarov, right? Like they ask for the future,
- 17:02but Soros is still just that guy.
- 17:04Yeah, he's been that guy. You can't get rid of him.
- 17:06Yeah, I don't know why they picked Knight.
- 17:08Never made sense. I guess like if you go to the
- 17:10best player available, you know. Like like a 13th overall or 15th
- 17:14overall pick for a goalie. Super high like super.
- 17:17They got, they got, they got a top pairing defenseman in
- 17:20return. Yeah, it worked out for.
- 17:22The playoff push, right? You can always trade these guys
- 17:24for. Yeah.
- 17:24I really think this is just excellent for both Ira.
- 17:28This is a great move by Chicago, to be honest.
- 17:30Like, I think he wanted out, you know, You know, they wanted to
- 17:32get. Rid of him and they got a great
- 17:33asset. In return, yeah.
- 17:34And they got a first round pick. Yeah.
- 17:36So no, that's that's great. And I think Spencer Knight, I
- 17:39mean, if we talk about his fantasy value right now, I think
- 17:43he immediately becomes a guy that's worth holding.
- 17:46I think he's a guy like assuming Gibsons injured or traded.
- 17:50I view him very similar to like Lukas Dostal, you know, like one
- 17:53of. Those guys are the best team but
- 17:55will be pretty solid as a good goalie.
- 17:57Has room to develop. You know, on a on a fun team to
- 18:00watch. Yep, Yep.
- 18:03Gustav Nyquist was traded to Minnesota and slaughtered.
- 18:06Line one Power Play 2. Yeah, I think he started off on
- 18:09power play one, but then on to power play 2.
- 18:13I spent some money on him but I mean I'm probably drop him.
- 18:15This week. So I was gonna say I'm I'm not a
- 18:17big fan. I think I think a speculative ad
- 18:19made sense because of how injured they were.
- 18:22He had plenty of opportunity to really jump in, but I just don't
- 18:25think the wild are that good of a team without capris off and
- 18:28Marks and X. So like even I've got like I've
- 18:30got Boldy and Zuccarello right now and I think other than Boldy
- 18:35and. Like I mean got bumped offline
- 18:36one. Yeah, I know.
- 18:37So I'd say like really on the wild forward right now with
- 18:39their injuries, I think Bold is the only like great own.
- 18:43Then Zuccarello and Rossi are both like solid, but there's
- 18:46really no one else I'd be interested in owning on that
- 18:48team. Even if I don't, there's a
- 18:50single defence mode on that team.
- 18:51I don't feel like bangers. Yeah, I took a stab at him
- 18:53because, you know, the deployment was great in the past
- 18:55playoff schedule as well, and I had an open spot for that type
- 18:59of player. Made sense.
- 19:01But like after two games were kind of seeing that, you know,
- 19:04show volumes. Low is playing 15 minutes.
- 19:06He's not on P1. So yeah, long term it doesn't
- 19:09look like it will succeed. I wouldn't be surprised if he
- 19:11has a hot streak, you know, gets a couple of points in a few
- 19:13games, gets picked up again. But it seems like ultimately it
- 19:16won't be fancy relevant. Yeah, this is like, it's just
- 19:20tough for guys like this to make a real impression on their new
- 19:23team. Point specific.
- 19:24And he's not a superstar, you know?
- 19:26But they said when they're going to make another move, to be
- 19:28honest, because the way they made this move for Nyquist, I
- 19:30think they still retained salary, if I'm not mistaken,
- 19:34Nashville. So they they have room to make
- 19:36another move. And I think that's what we're
- 19:38gonna do. They said they wanna Nyquist as
- 19:39like an insurance policy in case something doesn't happen or they
- 19:42keep getting injuries or whatnot.
- 19:43The only tough thing with them is that they've kind of
- 19:46committed to both Kaprizov and Erickson coming back in the
- 19:48regular season, so they can't do the LIRR loophole.
- 19:50So they don't have as much money to like play with.
- 19:52Us. We don't know that yet.
- 19:54I mean, like the GM like did say like they're both coming back in
- 19:57the regular season. Obviously things could change,
- 19:59but like if. You're planning to step back in
- 20:01the injury. Yeah, I mean, usually if you're
- 20:02planning on doing the TR loophole, you like kind of like
- 20:04set the scene, you're like, oh, like he's he's cooked, you know,
- 20:07like he he'll maybe come back for game one of the playoffs if
- 20:10we're lucky, you know. So yeah, usually they don't say
- 20:12he's coming. Back.
- 20:13It's gonna be good. In real life, Capresso is gonna
- 20:15be left wing first line and then Nyquist left wing second line
- 20:19with. Probably, yeah.
- 20:21Yeah, it's nice actually. But yeah, fantasy relevant.
- 20:25Like just don't see it happening really OK.
- 20:28Big news. Horrible news, Matthew to Chuck
- 20:32officially out for the season. Bennett takes his spot on power
- 20:34play. One horrible news for Chuck
- 20:36owners. Yeah, no, that's brutal.
- 20:38I mean, this is like 2 pieces of news that this one and the Jack
- 20:41Hughes, that's two first rounders or like late 1st early
- 20:44second round guys who? Are just out for the season like
- 20:47that's. Really brutal.
- 20:48There's just, this is the type of thing you just can't do
- 20:50anything about, you know, it's just bad luck and it sucks.
- 20:56Rodriguez and that's it. If Bennett's available in your
- 20:59league, then snap him up. I doubt he's available in any
- 21:03league that counts what he's good at, which is like Pimms and
- 21:07hits. That's it.
- 21:09But yeah, no, just just sucks for owners and for Florida.
- 21:14I mean, he's out for the regular season.
- 21:16I don't think they said he's out.
- 21:17It's not like Jack Hughes. Like I think I think Chuck will
- 21:20be back for the. Playoffs.
- 21:21Jack is gonna be back for playoffs now.
- 21:22No, he's out. Out he had shoulder surgery and
- 21:24they said that he'll be back training camp next.
- 21:26Year or like? He's he's out.
- 21:28Out. Wow.
- 21:29OK, they don't care about the playoffs anymore.
- 21:31The Devils, that's I'm saying, I really don't think that.
- 21:34I think they can honestly drop out of the playoffs depending.
- 21:37On how the project is not gonna do their best to make the
- 21:39playoffs. Yeah, if Doug is heard, not
- 21:41gonna risk Dougie. Unless they decide to buy they
- 21:44have that LTIR space now if his contracts have like 8 miles to
- 21:47play with. But.
- 21:48They could maybe make a move and then for this year and then see.
- 21:51For next year, loophole only really works when you expect the
- 21:54guy to come back in the playoffs, you know, now you're
- 21:56just trying to replace like, yeah, like for.
- 21:58One year, then if it's you can hold for next year too.
- 22:01But then they won't have the cap space once use.
- 22:02Comes back, yeah, but they can make some stuff happen.
- 22:06That would be crazy. I did see, I did see that
- 22:09Caroline is doing their due diligence.
- 22:10Yeah, if anyone. Wanted Carolina retains 25% of
- 22:13his contract. His his his his.
- 22:16You know it's going to be two point something mil to get
- 22:18random on your team for the rest of the season.
- 22:20Like playoff teams must be salivating.
- 22:22God damn it. I know the Habs got random it.
- 22:27Before our playoff push. We're gonna make the playoffs,
- 22:29guys. I think so too.
- 22:30I'm very hopium right now. I fully bought in actually.
- 22:35Like I was talking to my dad like a week or something to go
- 22:38after the haves. Like just came back from the
- 22:39break and have one good game. Like the haves are making the
- 22:41playoffs. And I was like, you know what?
- 22:42We're playing Carolina tonight. If we beat them all, join you on
- 22:45the bandwagon and then we shut them out for nothing.
- 22:47All right, that's on the poop, you know.
- 22:52Yeah, just to say one of us had Habs finishing ahead of the
- 22:56Bruins in the standings. Honestly, that that was your
- 22:59logic was extremely flawed, but it's gonna.
- 23:01Work out for you. It's the same in.
- 23:03A broken clock is. Exactly.
- 23:05Yeah, it's the same guy who had natural first in the central
- 23:08focus on the win. Also Mackie Samutsevich on
- 23:12Florida. Why wouldn't Jones replace him?
- 23:15Potentially. You don't.
- 23:16Think it's gonna do it? I think that could work, yeah.
- 23:19You know what, it really depends.
- 23:20I don't see why they wouldn't. Like, he's definitely not walk
- 23:22there. No, there's no way.
- 23:23No, it's true. I think Jones can.
- 23:24Maybe it's more just. That I think we're really that's
- 23:27yeah that's yeah that way what makes sense some of.
- 23:31These coaches. They're gonna be back, Galaxy.
- 23:34Brain themselves. To yeah, yeah, people keep
- 23:36taking a page out of Rods playbook.
- 23:38Exactly. All right.
- 23:40Jacob Markstrom is healthy and returned to the lineup on
- 23:43Sunday. Allen is a drop now.
- 23:46Wow, you did not hold back. His only value was marks from
- 23:49being injured. So job great for Markstrom
- 23:52owners, but again, with these news of like the Jack Hughes
- 23:55injury and like possibly Hamilton injury, great goalie,
- 23:59but like yeah, exactly the team as a whole is gonna take.
- 24:01It actually sucks to have held him this whole time.
- 24:03And then he comes. Back and then it just he comes
- 24:05back to the worst possible. Situation.
- 24:07You know that? Like, you know, like a
- 24:08community. Yep.
- 24:10And Troy leaves, and then he comes back holding the pizza and
- 24:13everything's on. Fire.
- 24:15Yeah, I've seen that movie that's like.
- 24:17Markstrom coming back. From injury.
- 24:18Literally what happens if the universe is this?
- 24:26OK, Vitek, Vanecek traded to the Panthers.
- 24:29We'll back up a Brovsky and could be good for quality starts
- 24:32on any back to backs coming up. They have five more back to
- 24:35backs this season. Huge.
- 24:37Yeah, he's been kind of like up and down in his career.
- 24:39He got the shot to be the New Jersey guy.
- 24:40Didn't work out, so I don't know how good of a goal he actually
- 24:44is. As a goalie, but just being on
- 24:46the Panthers. Yeah, he'll be another streaming
- 24:49option to have when back to backs are happening.
- 24:53And they have a lot of back-to-back.
- 24:54The end of the season. Five as well, yeah.
- 24:56So he'll get, he'll get plenty of shots.
- 24:58You're not picking him up. You're just like Adam sure
- 25:00watched this when you need a goalie starting as a
- 25:01back-to-back happening like he's one of the names.
- 25:03Considering he's never properly like the only time he was a high
- 25:09quality backup tandem guy was on Washington and then they traded
- 25:12him to New Jersey to be the guy. Somebody just don't have it in
- 25:15them to be starters. So I think he could be a really
- 25:17good complementary goalie for the Panthers like.
- 25:20Truly get the back to backs playing way too well too unless
- 25:23they want to arrest him leading up.
- 25:24And we know that. We know that Bob likes his rest
- 25:27Yeah to play out the best performance.
- 25:29The last couple years, Florida specifically, I think like
- 25:31they've rested Bob towards the end of the season like a lion.
- 25:35He played a bunch of games. I think Stollers played some
- 25:37games like the last couple of. Years line going to the playoffs
- 25:39and then Bob take over so. If you're in a deep league where
- 25:44there's like this is one of your better goalie options on the
- 25:46waiver wire, I'd consider that. I mean, I wouldn't pick him up
- 25:50anytime soon. You have.
- 25:51To like if you you're dropping Alan right now and you need a
- 25:53new goalie like pick up Banachek.
- 25:55No, but I wouldn't hold any check for like weeks hoping that
- 25:57he'll eventually get more stars. So this is more of like a pickup
- 25:59with like 2 weeks left in the season when like once they're
- 26:02showing signs of actually resting because you can't hold
- 26:04on to a guy who's gonna play zero games in a.
- 26:05Week Yeah, our last tidbit. Yanni Gourde and Oliver
- 26:10Bjorkstrand traded to Tampa Bay for Esmont and draft picks.
- 26:14I mean two first round picks so. Yeah, I just didn't include like
- 26:17the details. It doesn't affect fantasy.
- 26:19Yeah, I know, I know. But it's just like, you know,
- 26:21Tampa at it again. First, you know, now it's Gordon
- 26:24Bjorkstrand. Yeah, I will say their first of
- 26:26these types of trades was for Brandon Hagel, and that one
- 26:28worked out insanely. Yeah, literally used.
- 26:30Them for their Would you trade for zombies for Brandon Brandon
- 26:33Hagel right now? Probably Probably right if it's
- 26:35four late round picks. Bjorkstrand now is better than
- 26:38Hagel was when they traded him there.
- 26:40So, you know, obviously it's not gonna happen.
- 26:43But like, you know, the Cooper is such a good coach.
- 26:46Yeah. Cooper gets the most out of his
- 26:48place like no other. So I was.
- 26:50Getting know, Yeah. I was gonna say, I know Tampa
- 26:52loves Gorge, so they're really excited.
- 26:54About him, I think he might be fantasy relevant honestly as I
- 26:57thought he was like. I thought he was more fantasy
- 26:59relevant on Seattle and I expect both him and jerks trying to
- 27:02lose value here just cause they're gonna be buried under
- 27:04much more talented lineup Seattle.
- 27:06Is really surprised their place dial and like performance gets
- 27:09better and because of that they get more fantasy relevant but
- 27:13we'll see like I mean. Regardless, whenever that
- 27:15relevant points wise, I mean they were a little bit, I think
- 27:18they're definitely gonna lose points because.
- 27:20Like I can see gourd as the three C's, like being relevant
- 27:24in deep leagues that have face off wins.
- 27:25You know what? I.
- 27:25Mean I could see that. And Bjorkstrand, like right now,
- 27:29he's logged into line 2 with Cirelli and Hegel.
- 27:31So that's interesting. And line 3 is Paul Gourd
- 27:34Goncalves. So what?
- 27:37That's how you say his name. I.
- 27:38Thought it was John calves. Why do I just assume they're all
- 27:44friends? Brayden Point No, I I actually
- 27:53Really. Like I think they really helped
- 27:55their middle 6. I think it.
- 27:56Really does. This is a great trade.
- 27:58In real life, like, I think this is a great move for them.
- 28:00Like they're parts earlier this season where I was counting them
- 28:03out. I think at this point they're
- 28:04very much a contender again. I mean it also helps that
- 28:06Vasilevsky decide to play like prime Vasilevsky so.
- 28:08Fantasy points wise, I actually think trans gonna.
- 28:11Do I mean he'll get some he's getting line 2P2 time.
- 28:14So if you're looking for somebody that has power play
- 28:16exposure like he just became available and your way is most
- 28:19likely but. Do we there's like a real power
- 28:22play one and two because like Chafee's on power play one at
- 28:25the. Moment, I know.
- 28:25Trust still on both of them. No, no, no.
- 28:27OK, well, whichever. One keep you one now is point
- 28:30future of Gensel Headmen Chafee. Yeah, yeah.
- 28:34But then. 2 front. Yeah.
- 28:38It's not a bad power play too, but I mean.
- 28:40It's good to you when you show. The power play 1 is that good
- 28:42you don't get as. Many whichever 1 Kucherov was on
- 28:44his. Power.
- 28:44That's it, 100%, yeah. Like you might play on both
- 28:47anyway. I think, I think I'm lower on
- 28:48them on these two than than you guys.
- 28:50Are I'm thinking deep leagues, right, like not in a 14 team
- 28:53league that there'll be people to consider during the 12 team
- 28:56league that has, you know, big Ross like 20 plus players that
- 29:00you have face off wins as well. Like I think those are, they
- 29:02become instantly streamable. Yeah, I just, I honestly, I
- 29:05think I liked them more on Seattle as fantasy assets.
- 29:09Let's move on to the Would you rather segment.
- 29:13Should I read some of them? No hold.
- 29:14On. Ohhhhh freezing.
- 29:18So obviously now the trade deadlines have passed, I think
- 29:22the would you rather I'm I'm I decided to make it more towards
- 29:25guys that are lower in roster percentage.
- 29:28So we can talk about, you know, guys that maybe fringe on your
- 29:30roster or maybe available on waivers and how they stack up
- 29:33against each other and who maybe take a shot at the rest of the
- 29:35season. Throw you off your other.
- 29:38It didn't work out. And corrupt the Gotham's white
- 29:42knight. Sorry.
- 29:43Oh my God. Or Brown Knight, I don't know.
- 29:48OK, so rest of season, would you rather Ryan O'Reilly or Elias
- 29:54Lindholm? Ryan O'reilly's 35% owned,
- 29:57Lindholm 34% owned. So they're kind of in the same
- 29:59bracket right there. For me, I'm going O'Reilly
- 30:03overland home. Yeah, I think.
- 30:05Is it the playoff? Schedule.
- 30:06The playoff schedule helps. I think O'Reilly gets more
- 30:08points than home. Like guaranteed he's lined One
- 30:10power play one versus Lindholm was line 2 power play one.
- 30:12Hmm, well those been killing it though lately.
- 30:14I mean, he's been doing really well for backup, but it's like
- 30:18he's been doing much points whereas O'Reilly has actually
- 30:20been getting a lot of points lately, so.
- 30:22For some reason Lindholm became a monster and shots over the
- 30:25last like. Three weeks.
- 30:26I like blind homes shots and hits more, but I think the
- 30:30points upside on O'Reilly makes me prefer him and the playoff
- 30:33schedule. Jake, what do you think?
- 30:35Probably O'Reilly as well. Yeah, yeah, I just.
- 30:39He closed down 30% of leagues and he's, you know, line one
- 30:42people one on Nashville who still has some stars there.
- 30:44Right, yeah. I just think they're peripherals
- 30:46are similar enough. It's not much of a difference
- 30:49maker, but the points I would say are more reliably gonna come
- 30:53from O'Reilly. Yeah.
- 30:56All right. Next one.
- 30:57Spicy. These guys are not the same
- 30:59archetype, but would rather on your team for the rest of the
- 31:01fantasy season. Ken Johnson 27% owned or Brayden
- 31:05Schenn, 30% owned. I gotta go with Brayden Schenn
- 31:09on this one. I think Johnson's been
- 31:12absolutely unreal points wise in a points league.
- 31:14No question I'm going Johnson, but this is really, this is
- 31:17Bangor management after all. So yeah, I just think the floor
- 31:23of Brayden Schenn combined with his points potential because he
- 31:26has been putting up points also getting to play with like
- 31:28everyone. Holloway is like, really?
- 31:30You might get traded though, but I think Blues are now in the
- 31:32playoff mix. So like, yeah, we don't want to
- 31:34sell anymore. That's it.
- 31:35Yeah. So I think Johnson gets more
- 31:37points than Shannon, but I think the back cats difference for
- 31:39Shen will make up more than make up for it.
- 31:41So I'm going Shen. Same.
- 31:43Yeah I think Shen just does too much like non points wise to not
- 31:49be the pig here. Almost certain, like, OK, I'm
- 31:53like fairly certain in Bangor League Shen, but like in points,
- 31:57definitely Johnson. I know we're dealing with
- 31:59beggars. No, I agree.
- 32:00But like, I'm like way more confidence than Ken Johnson's
- 32:03voice. But I think that the floor and
- 32:05what he could do for your team. Brayden Schenn, like I'd rather
- 32:07him. Yeah.
- 32:09Yeah, Shannon for you too. Yeah, then for me.
- 32:12All right, next one, Spicy drops.
- 32:13Would love this. Jason Zucker who is currently
- 32:16hurt, 21% owned versus Quentin Byfield, 42% owned.
- 32:22I like what I field. I think I would take a healthy
- 32:25sucker over By Field. I just think that sucker's been
- 32:28doing this well all season, whereas By Fields only just
- 32:31recently starting doing this well, but and they both have the
- 32:35same playoff schedule. Obviously there's the soccer
- 32:37injury, but but yeah, I would take soccer over by Fields.
- 32:40But I like Byfield a lot. I have on my team and and I
- 32:43think he's really these types of guys who are like these high
- 32:45draft picks but underperforming. I feel like they always do
- 32:47really well towards the end of the season.
- 32:49Yeah, and you know what else it does?
- 32:50Why field? He gets to play with second-half
- 32:52Fiala. That all those points for the
- 32:55last 30 days are assessed, Yeah, yeah, that's a good sign.
- 33:00Who's gonna look like a foundation?
- 33:02Yeah, it's. Like the opposite of one.
- 33:04Soccer scores a lot of goals. Yeah, it's like the opposite
- 33:06when you say all these points are goals, they must be.
- 33:08It must regress, you know? Yeah, when all of them are
- 33:10assist, I feel like it regresses the other way cause he's got to
- 33:12score some. Goals.
- 33:12Yeah, and I don't think that necessarily means we'll be
- 33:14getting less, just like two goals added into the mix.
- 33:17His minutes have been sick all. Year.
- 33:18The biggest difference, I think, is Zucker's power play
- 33:21production like it's. Really awesome, super solid
- 33:24power play 1. So deployment wise, you gotta go
- 33:27sucker. Hmm.
- 33:29Alright, next one. Vlasic or Hanafin.
- 33:34Vlasic, 10% owned and you power play one quarterback in Chicago
- 33:39or Noah Hanifin 67% owned. He's had a big name, right?
- 33:42So he's been on Ross when he shouldn't be.
- 33:44Yeah, but now he's the one guy there and you know, he's getting
- 33:46a lot of points. Yeah, I really like this one,
- 33:48but Vlasic, yeah, I just, I don't, I like, I mean, there's a
- 33:54reason when a player is starts on power play 1, gets demoted
- 34:00and then goes back there, especially when it's a
- 34:02defenseman because of an injury, that's usually like not a good
- 34:06sign. Otherwise it would have been
- 34:07there the whole time. You know what I mean?
- 34:08If you're comparing this to someone who's been like a
- 34:10mainstay on their power play all year, then I would that would be
- 34:13really serious. But the only reason Vlasic
- 34:15wasn't there because Seth Jones was clearly, clearly a better
- 34:19player. But I think that when Jones was
- 34:22hurt and Vlasic was the the mainstay on that power play, it
- 34:26was really, really nice to see how well he was doing.
- 34:29It's a fun team. They're a young team and I think
- 34:32that power play points are gonna go classics way and it's going
- 34:35to be a lot of fun. I'm going to go with Hannafin on
- 34:38this one. I think just Vegas is such a
- 34:42better team than than Chicago. They have.
- 34:45He gets to play with equal on power play 1.
- 34:47And I think Eichel is really unreal, especially this year.
- 34:50So I think Anna's gonna get more points.
- 34:52He's gonna get more power play points.
- 34:53He gets way more shots than Vlasic.
- 34:56The only thing that I give LASIK over Hennepin is blocks.
- 34:58He is like much more blocks. But I think I'd rather get the
- 35:01shots and the points and power play points from Hannafin.
- 35:04I think, I think Hennepin's really kind of come into his own
- 35:07with the extra, you know, the extra responsibility these last
- 35:11couple weeks since the Four Nations faced off in Theodore
- 35:13being out. I do really like Alex last rest
- 35:15of season. I think he's a strong pickup in
- 35:17your league, especially, you know, in deeper leagues where
- 35:20there's not really many power play quarterbacks available on
- 35:23waivers. The blocks are really the only
- 35:25thing that differentiates them in terms of like what they hit
- 35:27category wise. So it's nice to get the extra
- 35:29like, you know, over like around 2 blocks a game from LASIK.
- 35:32A little less maybe, But Hannafin, you've just been on
- 35:35fire. He's getting shots.
- 35:36He's on the power play. I think maybe come end of the
- 35:40season, velocity ends up being like better than he is.
- 35:43I think he's young, right, So he can he just got paid to like
- 35:45he's like a my product could be their quarterback of the future,
- 35:49right. So maybe he's developing some
- 35:51chemistry with bar, like he has a room to be improved into what
- 35:54he's doing right right now. But yeah, I'm going to take the
- 35:58reliability of head of him being just like a, you know, star NHL
- 36:01and like a good guy to have even though his category coverage is
- 36:04worse. Yeah, nice.
- 36:06Alright, last one goalie time, Sam Ursin 26% owned or Spencer
- 36:13Knight 24% owned the rest of season.
- 36:18Damn, that's a tough one. Yeah.
- 36:20I think tonight. Yeah, say it in the mic.
- 36:24Spencer Night, but it's so close.
- 36:29We've seen Ersin be like honestly a revelation for
- 36:31fantasy. You know, Philly is not a the
- 36:34best team in the league and yet he's been like really solid.
- 36:36He's one weeks on his own in our league specifically, we seen him
- 36:40have like his lows. Just last game he was 2 for
- 36:44five. But Spencer Knight, you know,
- 36:47he's coming into all these volume starts.
- 36:49He's a good goalie, too. Chicago's kind of fun.
- 36:52How much worse can Chicago get though?
- 36:55Like we know how bad Chicago. Is I don't really get anywhere.
- 36:57They just stay the same. That's what I'm.
- 36:59Saying but stable, Yeah. But Philly can get a lot.
- 37:02Worse, Yeah. Well, honestly, I view, I know
- 37:05that Philly's decently higher in the standings, but to me they're
- 37:07both bottom feeder teams. So like, I don't really view the
- 37:10team as that much of a difference for both of them.
- 37:13I think Knights the more talented goalie, but I think
- 37:16Ursin has proven this year that he can be really good.
- 37:19Is very like, very streaky, but like, I've been really impressed
- 37:23with him for like, really long stretches.
- 37:24Yeah. So that's just more like
- 37:26unproven. Like on this new team he had one
- 37:28insane game. So I'm like super into the hype
- 37:30and I think he's a really great player and like gonna be a
- 37:32really good player. It's really tough, honestly.
- 37:35This one, yeah. It sounds really feels like a
- 37:38coin flip, I guess, like I'm trying to picture like my team
- 37:40assuming I had an empty coli slot and I had to choose one for
- 37:43rest this season. I think I might go Ursin just
- 37:46cause of what he's done so far this year.
- 37:47Like I just think like even though, like you said, he just
- 37:50had a he's like maybe on a bad stretch right now.
- 37:52And trust me, I do not think the Flyers are anything good, but
- 37:55just he's had really, really long stretches of solid play.
- 37:58So I think I would go there and. I'm going Spencer night and my
- 38:03logic is I feel like towards the end of the season, Philly is
- 38:06going to really regress. We're gonna sell players off
- 38:07their team as well. Where I feel like Knight is
- 38:11coming into a situation where, you know, he was the backup
- 38:13playing very minimal games, finally gets the opportunity to
- 38:15just like play a lot of games and have fun and like develop
- 38:19too. So I think he gets the
- 38:20opportunity to know, showcase his stuff with a lot of volume.
- 38:24I think he works his way into like being a really good fantasy
- 38:26goalie. Whereas Arsenic can feel like
- 38:28his volatility will be stronger. And if I want something in my
- 38:33fantasy, I want the less volatile asset, especially when
- 38:36it comes to goalies. For one more game of sample
- 38:39sizes like yeah, so much. He's not gonna get 40 saves
- 38:43every game, right? Like he'll probably get go 20
- 38:45for 24 next game or something and get the hell.
- 38:47But yeah, that's my reasoning. It was just encouraging to see.
- 38:52And like, honestly, look, I don't think that Chicago is
- 38:54going to be a force by any means, but like I think that
- 38:57they could get a bit better. And if Philly does make moves or
- 39:00going to get substantially worse.
- 39:01So that's true. There's already like
- 39:04inconsistency baked into the cake with arson that we've seen
- 39:07with Spencer and it. At least there's that known.
- 39:08And because of that, I think there's something.
- 39:10Encouraging. Yeah.
- 39:11You know, I guess I will say persons like kind of a known
- 39:14quantity. And Knight is a lottery ticket.
- 39:16Yeah. Anderson's not a valuable enough
- 39:19known quantity, yeah, that I wouldn't be willing to drop him
- 39:21for a lottery ticket. That's kind of how I felt.
- 39:23So like with Vanicek, we were saying not to do this right, but
- 39:26these two be guys who would pick up.
- 39:28If you're going to be the backup where you know I'm saying.
- 39:31So if you're dropping Jake Allen, you're gonna pick up a
- 39:33new goalie. Between these two I would
- 39:36probably pick up. Nights, I'll take night for the
- 39:38upside. I think designing us person has
- 39:39a better floor, but when you're picking up a goalie like this,
- 39:42like you gotta be going like, you know, for the upside.
- 39:44Yeah, at this point in the season.
- 39:45Exactly. Like erson higher floor, lower
- 39:48ceiling height, opposite. Yeah, that was, that was a
- 39:51really good series, Kevin, not gonna lie.
- 39:53Like these were, these were tough.
- 39:55These were tough. Were good ones.
