A Charlotte man with a violent history has been arrested after allegedly assaulting a woman and livestreaming the attack on social media. Police identified 32-year-old Di-Quan Schafar Hunt through online footage, which shows him taunting the victim and delivering a punch. The woman suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was hospitalized. Hunt, who has been arrested at least nine times since 2023—including for assault with a deadly weapon and violating protective orders—is now facing charges and is expected to be transferred to county custody.
