- 0:41Speaker 2: Hello everyone, welcome back to the Abundant and Aligned podcast.
- 0:44Speaker 2: I hope you're having a beautiful week.
- 0:47Speaker 2: I am excited to announce that my money program, the Wealthy Woman, is open for enrollment on the 2nd of September.
- 0:57Speaker 2: This is the second time I'm doing this program it was launched last year so I'm very excited to bring this back and really help more of you make more money, create more time freedom and ultimately have more choices in your life, because money is always available to support you.
- 1:13Speaker 2: So if that does interest you, then go and jump on the wait list, which is linked in the show notes below.
- 1:18Speaker 2: I would, of course, love to see you in that program and, like I said, help you just to make your financial dreams a reality.
- 1:27Speaker 2: But today's episode is honestly a bit of a life update.
- 1:31Speaker 2: I guess just some things I'm doing in my life that I wanted to get behind the mic and share with you all, and a lot of the things I'm sharing today was prompted by a book that I'm reading at the moment.
- 1:41Speaker 2: It's called Bending Reality.
- 1:43Speaker 2: I highly recommend it, and there is a chapter in there about well, so far, the book is about living in a place of contraction versus expansion, and contraction being living in a place of fear, shame, guilt, anger, resentment, and a place of expansion, being love, abundance, excitement, passion, gratitude.
- 2:07Speaker 2: And so far what I've read at the book, it's about getting you to a place of expansion, obviously, which is what we're all about here on the podcast, and that is getting you to a place where you are expansive, so that when you focus on something, it shows up for you and, like the title of the book says, bending your reality and really manipulating what is showing up for you in your life.
- 2:28Speaker 2: But yeah, what I wanted to share with you today is some answers that I've found in this book and, as usual, the universe has delivered this book to me at the time that I needed it, because I was kind of already thinking these things and I've been in a weird place in my life at the moment where things that I was doing in my business and life either aren't working anymore or I've been forcing them, and I've only recently come to the realization that what I've done up until this point isn't going to get me to the next point, and that mostly goes for my business, but also just how I want to do life and being a couple of years into my business full time.
- 3:13Speaker 2: It's taken me a little while to kind of get used to that life.
- 3:16Speaker 2: If I'm honest, for the other people out there that went from corporate to self-employed, and even more so those who have an online business where literally your schedule is yours and you don't have to be anywhere on anyone else's time, it took me a long time to get used to that lifestyle.
- 3:30Speaker 2: So I guess, as a result of that, I'm really leaning more into a life of just more flow and more ease and, I guess, really letting go of any stories that I still make up in my head or I have been believing as to like why I can't do that, which I'm going to share with you today.
- 3:51Speaker 2: So, yeah, I guess today's just a bit of a chatty episode, a bit of a life update about what I'm doing in my life, because I know these episodes are always inspiring to hear.
- 3:59Speaker 2: Anyways, this book Bending Reality, like I said, she talks about doing more of the things you love and doing less of the things you don't, which is such a simple thing, but so many of us are not living life that way.
- 4:14Speaker 2: I know that for a fact, and there were some things that I had to reflect on when I was prompted with that question.
- 4:20Speaker 2: But, like I said, it has kind of come at this point where I have really been questioning do I enjoy doing that?
- 4:25Speaker 2: If I don't, why am I still doing it?
- 4:27Speaker 2: And is there another way that I could do this?
- 4:29Speaker 2: And what stories do I need to let go of by wanting to do it that way?
- 4:33Speaker 2: So one of the prompts was what do you love doing?
- 4:36Speaker 2: And if you could only do that, what would that look like?
- 4:39Speaker 2: And then I kind of tack on to this if you you then did do it that way, what story are you making up about that?
- 4:50Speaker 2: So what I came up with when I answered that question was I'm really loving in-person stuff at the moment and I've done a couple of speaking events where I get really dressed up and go to an actual place with real people and interact with them in real time and do these incredible presentations, and yeah, it just really lights me up and I'm loving it.
- 5:13Speaker 2: I'm also loving in-person meetings where we go and have a coffee or a wine or in-person podcast interviews, and, yeah, I'm just like really enjoying that.
- 5:24Speaker 2: That is really my zone of genius at the moment, and so if my business looked more like that and less all about the online space or, in particular, all about having online meetings and things like that.
- 5:40Speaker 2: There's some.
- 5:40Speaker 2: There's some certain things that I would change in my business, which I'm going to get to in a second, but that would ultimately allow me to have more time to do those things that I like and start to let go of the things that I don't typically like anymore and it's not that I don't like it, it just doesn't set me up or light me up as much as it did.
- 5:58Speaker 2: The story, though, that I was making up around that is, my business was very, very, very successful quite early on, and a lot of that success came from one-on-one clients, and so that was like a huge part of my business actually having private one-on-one clients, and what that would look like is a weekly Zoom call with them, plus telegram access.
- 6:18Speaker 2: Plus, they would get access to like my online resources in the academy.
- 6:22Speaker 2: They would get access to like my online resources in the academy, and that worked really well for a long time, and it really lit me up and it really made me the coach that I am today, because I was thrown into the deep end with women who were from so many different areas or places in their life and I was there helping them navigate it, and so I learned a lot and I really became an incredible coach.
- 6:45Speaker 2: Because of it and because it did contribute so much to my success, I've kind of held onto it a little bit.
- 6:51Speaker 2: While I've jigged it a little bit and don't do private one-on-one clients anymore and instead have my mastermind, I was still offering a lot of one-on-one time with me, whether it was as a bonus for getting in the academy early or the mastermind early and I love my time with my clients, but it is taking well, it was taking up a lot of my time and so it was taking me away from being able to do the things I mentioned before that I'm really loving at the moment.
- 7:18Speaker 2: So it's really encouraged me to make even further changes in my business, to free up even more time to go and do those things that I love and just make that okay and just trust that while, yes, the one-on-one setting and having that online client base got me this far, it doesn't mean that whatever I choose next won't take me to the next phase in my business.
- 7:40Speaker 2: So I guess an invitation for everybody just to be okay about pivoting and changing.
- 7:45Speaker 2: Even if what you've done in the past has got you up to this point and it's been quite successful, that doesn't mean that whatever you choose next won't be just as successful if you lean into that and you trust it.
- 7:57Speaker 2: So I guess I would like to turn that question over to you guys.
- 8:00Speaker 2: What do you love doing?
- 8:02Speaker 2: And if you could only do those things, what would life look like?
- 8:07Speaker 2: And what story are you making up about why you can't do that?
- 8:12Speaker 2: So I guess another example I can provide and I was having a conversation with the girls in my mastermind in Telegram about this the other day you may love the idea of a really slow, flowy morning where you wake up, when your body is ready to wake up, you sit and you sip your coffee and you read your book for an hour and then you slowly get ready and you go to the 10 am gym class and you don't get home and start your day until 12 o'clock and maybe that start to your day just fulfills you so much, fills your cup up and allows you to be the best version of you.
- 8:48Speaker 2: However, the reason you don't do that is because you've made up a story that that's lazy.
- 8:52Speaker 2: That is not going to make you a successful person, because successful people get up at 5 am and they go to the gym by 6 and they come home and they do a million things all before 8 and your day has to start at 9.
- 9:04Speaker 2: And so, while those mornings are just so beautiful, incredible for you, you don't do them because of that story that you've made up.
- 9:11Speaker 2: So that's an example of the angle that I'm going down or going for with that journal prompt what do you love?
- 9:18Speaker 2: How would that look if you did more of it?
- 9:20Speaker 2: And what story you make up?
- 9:22Speaker 2: What story are you making up about doing it that way?
- 9:26Speaker 2: On the other end of that again, it come from this book um is, what am I still doing that I don't love?
- 9:35Speaker 2: Or and it's what I loved about this book, it was went further than that.
- 9:41Speaker 2: It was also like what are you doing that you don't love, even though you're really good at it?
- 9:46Speaker 2: And that's, I guess, what prompted the one-on-one and the more client facing part of my business.
- 9:52Speaker 2: I'm really, really good at coaching women.
- 9:56Speaker 2: I help my clients get insane results.
- 9:59Speaker 2: I'm really good at holding a conversation.
- 10:00Speaker 2: I'm really good at coaching women.
- 10:00Speaker 2: I help my clients get insane results.
- 10:01Speaker 2: I'm really good at holding a conversation.
- 10:01Speaker 2: I'm really good at guiding my clients to go to places that they've never been before, based on questions I ask and the perception that I create.
- 10:09Speaker 2: So I'm very, very good at that.
- 10:12Speaker 2: So, again, like the story I was making up prior to this realization was yeah, but you're really good at that.
- 10:18Speaker 2: That created success last time.
- 10:20Speaker 2: Other people create a lot of success doing one-on-one clients.
- 10:23Speaker 2: You can charge a lot of money for one-on-one clients, so you should keep pushing that avenue in your business.
- 10:29Speaker 2: But again, like I realized, like just because you're good at something doesn't mean you have to love it, and so again, I like to flip that over to you guys what are you still doing in your business, but also life as a mom, as a partner, as a friend, as a colleague in your career?
- 10:44Speaker 2: What are you still doing that you don't love and what story are you making up about it?
- 10:50Speaker 2: So why do you keep doing these things, even if you know you don't love them?
- 10:53Speaker 2: Why are you still doing these things, even if, while doing them, you want to be doing other things?
- 10:59Speaker 2: And what story are you making up about that?
- 11:01Speaker 2: The story part will provide your answers as to why you keep showing up in a way that's not aligned with who you really want to be and why you keep living a life that isn't ultimately the life you want to be living.
- 11:13Speaker 2: Because, again, we're trying to fit in this box and this mold and it's like if we don't, we're a bad person, if we don't, I'm a bad mom, I'm a bad partner, I'm a bad business woman.
- 11:22Speaker 2: If I don't, I'm not successful, I'm not like them, if I don't blah, blah, blah.
- 11:32Speaker 2: So figuring out that story and, of course, when you do, it's like forget the story, it's not true, and you get to choose your own rules.
- 11:37Speaker 2: You get to run your own race and you get to make that okay, whatever you do choose.
- 11:41Speaker 2: So if it is that you want to spend four hours in the morning filling your cup up, then make it that you are actually going to be more successful when you do that and make it that that actually makes you a really empowering woman, because you listen to your body and you listen to your needs and you give yourself permission to live life in accordance with what feels good, as opposed to what you should be doing or in the case that you don't want to be showing up online in a certain way and you have been doing it like that because you see other people do it and you see that it works for them, and maybe your mentor told you that's the only way that you'll create success.
- 12:20Speaker 2: And if you stop doing it, then your business won't work out.
- 12:23Speaker 2: We'll just make the story something different.
- 12:25Speaker 2: I want to be unique online and actually, if I create content that I want to be creating, even though no one on the internet's doing it, I'm going to feel really good.
- 12:35Speaker 2: By doing it, I'm going to be super creative, which is a very powerful vibration, and I'm actually going to make more money than I ever have because, again, I'm showing up authentic, unique to me, and I'm having the time of my life while doing it, or even just showing up as a mom.
- 12:51Speaker 2: I know I have a lot of mom clients and people who listen to this podcast.
- 12:57Speaker 2: What mold as a mom are you trying to fit and are you trying to do things as a parent that, while doing it, you're like I don't, like I don't really want to parent this way, or I don't want life to look and feel this way.
- 13:10Speaker 2: I really want it to look this other way, but you just haven't given yourself permission to go there because you're making up some kind of story and again like starting to just like, let go of these BS stories and all of these reasons why, and again to start living your life, do more things that you love, stop doing things you don't.
- 13:30Speaker 2: End of story.
- 13:31Speaker 2: And, like I want us all, like hold me accountable with this as well.
- 13:36Speaker 2: I want us all to live our life in alignment with just that do more of the things you love, stop doing the things you don't.
- 13:42Speaker 2: And, of course, that may trigger a lot of change in your life, but we need to be okay about that, because where it's ultimately leading us is to a life that's so fulfilled, so on.
- 13:55Speaker 2: And when we're living a life that's so on purpose and so fulfilling, we're so happy, life is so fun.
- 14:03Speaker 2: Isn't that what we're here to create?
- 14:05Speaker 2: And when life is so fun and you're so happy, guess what else also happens?
- 14:09Speaker 2: You make a lot of money, opportunities show up for you, synchronicities happen, life becomes easy.
- 14:16Speaker 2: You're moving with the flow of the universe.
- 14:18Speaker 2: So let's not be so regimented, let's not be so stuck.
- 14:23Speaker 2: Let's listen up to what we need, want love, what fires us up, even if no one else around us is doing it, even if it doesn't make logical sense.
- 14:32Speaker 2: Let's just start listening to our heart a little bit more, as opposed to our head, and breaking some rules because we can.
- 14:44Speaker 2: So, like I said, I have made, I've, I've made already or I am making some changes in my business and also my personal life as a result of this reflection, realizing that I don't like doing those things anymore and I want to do this instead.
- 14:52Speaker 2: Or realizing I'm spending a lot of time on this that doesn't really light me up and I don't feel excited by doing it.
- 14:59Speaker 2: So I'm not going to do it anymore and I'm going to change the way that I'm living my life running my business and change the way I feel within myself as a woman.
- 15:08Speaker 2: So, changes in the business.
- 15:10Speaker 2: Like I mentioned before, I'm feeling really excited by this life of complete freedom, and I have a lot of freedom right now, but I still have client meetings that I have to be at home and ready for um, you know podcast interviews like well, I'll get to that in a second, but there are parts of my business that still require me to like be in the office in meetings by certain times and I'm just loving the idea of like traveling and just being able to just be wherever and go wherever and not have this more regimented work that I've kind of created in my business a little bit.
- 15:47Speaker 2: And I'm really loving the idea of, instead of having these like huge, big launches while I'll still definitely be doing the launches, because I do love them instead of my entire business resting on these big launches and these big highs and these big lows having more online courses where it's just like I'm making money every single day.
- 16:05Speaker 2: It can happen from wherever, it's all super passive and people can learn from me, buy from me at any time of the day, not just when I'm switched on in a launch or whatever it may be.
- 16:15Speaker 2: So, with that being said you guys are actually the first to hear this I am launching a couple of new like online courses.
- 16:23Speaker 2: They will be all evergreen, which means there'll be no live component to these courses, but it just gives you guys the opportunity to learn from me at any time, not wait around for my live programs.
- 16:33Speaker 2: The Academy and Her Empire will still be live.
- 16:36Speaker 2: They will always be a live program because you get that mentorship with me, which I still love and I don't want to take that away.
- 16:44Speaker 2: I still love that client facing aspect to my business, but I don't want my entire business to be like that.
- 16:49Speaker 2: So you'll also have the opportunity to do courses whenever you want.
- 16:54Speaker 2: Actually, quickly just reminds me, the wealthy woman, for example, is is at launching soon, which I mentioned.
- 16:59Speaker 2: This will be the last time.
- 17:00Speaker 2: Probably I might change my mind and if I do, that's okay.
- 17:03Speaker 2: Um, might be the last time that I do this course live.
- 17:06Speaker 2: So if you want a live Q and a session with me as part of the wealthy woman, then make sure you're in this round, because it might not be around next year.
- 17:17Speaker 2: It might just be an evergreen course, which means it's super self-paced.
- 17:21Speaker 2: You guys enroll, you work through the course curriculum in your own time and, yeah, like you still learn from me.
- 17:29Speaker 2: Obviously I'm in all of the workshops, but they're just not that um live component.
- 17:34Speaker 2: So just an FYI.
- 17:36Speaker 2: But, yeah, really excited to be launching some more online courses that are just available on demand for you guys.
- 17:41Speaker 2: One of them is going to be just a manifestation course.
- 17:44Speaker 2: So I teach a lot of that in the Academy, but it's just going to be like a watered down version for someone who may not be ready for the full investment that the Academy is, because that's everything and you just want access to the manifestation principles.
- 17:58Speaker 2: And then, very excited about this next one, like very, very excited about this next one.
- 18:02Speaker 2: It's going to be a course that helps you guys create an online business.
- 18:07Speaker 2: So, no matter what industry you are in right now or what career you're in, if you have the goal to be working online, then this course is going to help you do that.
- 18:17Speaker 2: Literally a one on one-on-one foundational type of course where it's like how to do X, y and Z, and I'm going to take you through the entire process, from coming up with a online business idea to the branding, to the marketing, to actually creating your course and then obviously, filling it up and making a lot of money from it.
- 18:36Speaker 2: So I'm really excited for that course because my ultimate mission is to help women have a life of time freedom and I realized that online, online businesses are the key or the golden ticket to make that your reality.
- 18:50Speaker 2: While I love you guys who still work a nine to five and I'm like I'm all for you guys, I love that you should still show up to the podcast what sets my soul on fire is the idea of a woman who's completely independent, who has complete time freedom.
- 19:08Speaker 2: Her entire life is on her own schedule, she makes a lot of money doing it and she can just be wherever she wants, doing whatever she wants, and it doesn't impact her success.
- 19:16Speaker 2: She can also be there for her family, with her family, ultimately prioritizing the things that she loves.
- 19:23Speaker 2: So that's kind of what's inspired that course.
- 19:26Speaker 2: So just an FYI on that, but that's a big sidetrack.
- 19:30Speaker 2: So, yeah, some changes in the business to really line up with the fact that I want my, my life.
- 19:35Speaker 2: While it is very free at the moment and pretty cruisy and easy, I want it to be even more cruisy and even more easy, and I'm not making that mean that's going to impact my success and I'm not trying to fit in a box of like in order to be successful, you need to be working your ass off in an office from seven till seven.
- 19:53Speaker 2: I'm like, no, I'm making a lot of money while traveling and having this easy, flowy life.
- 19:58Speaker 2: The next change that I'm making is, as I said, it's come off the back of that question.
- 20:03Speaker 2: It's like what am I loving right now?
- 20:04Speaker 2: And I love that it's finishing that prompt of like right now, because, again, what you love now and what you love next year might change, and that's also fine.
- 20:12Speaker 2: Again, it's important to give yourself permission to pivot when it's needed and really just doing this audit all the time of like okay, am I still enjoying this or is it time to change it up?
- 20:22Speaker 2: And if it's time to change it up, do that and be okay about it.
- 20:26Speaker 2: So what I, as I said, what I'm loving at the moment is getting all dressed up and going to these in-person events where I'm on a panel or I'm speaking and being there with people, like actually being able to have a champagne with them and watch their faces when I share something and be behind the mic, and I'm loving it, I'm absolutely loving it.
- 20:46Speaker 2: So I'm going to be doing more of them.
- 20:47Speaker 2: Of course, I have my own Gold Coast one day immersion coming up on the 21st of September, which, if you haven't got your ticket, go and do that.
- 20:55Speaker 2: So I'm very excited for that and I'm 100% making this a huge, big component of my business.
- 21:00Speaker 2: I intend on doing a like an event on the Gold Coast every year or in other parts of Australia, but also going over to the States and then doing one in Europe as well.
- 21:10Speaker 2: So this is just the start of what these immersions are going to look like in my business, but I also want to be involved in a lot of other people's events, so I've had the privilege of speaking at a couple recently.
- 21:22Speaker 2: I've got more coming up on the calendar this year, but definitely want to expand into that area because I'm liking it at moment and because that's what I want to do.
- 21:30Speaker 2: Same thing with podcast interviews, like finding a studio or even, you know, building my own, which is definitely on the cards, so that I can have that in in person interview, interaction with people Because, again, I'm just loving it.
- 21:43Speaker 2: I love the idea of getting all dressed up and just having somewhere to go, as opposed to just being in this home office by myself all day.
- 21:50Speaker 2: Um, and then finally, changes in the business is realizing that less is okay in some areas and, again, like I don't have to be so busy and doing all of the things and sitting behind my computer in order to be successful, and I'm finding that I'm really drawn to entrepreneurs at the moment who are making a lot of money but they're constantly traveling the world while doing it.
- 22:13Speaker 2: Their business is like so cruisy and so easy and so flowy, like I'm finding I'm drawn to those people and that's obviously because I see something in them that I want and that is inspiring.
- 22:25Speaker 2: So I should just say, like if you are finding you're drawn to people, it's because they have something you want.
- 22:29Speaker 2: So, like you know, lean into that like question like what are they doing?
- 22:34Speaker 2: Am I doing what they're doing?
- 22:35Speaker 2: And, if not, give yourself permission to do the things that they're doing, because if they can, so can you?
- 22:41Speaker 2: So now some changes in my personal life as a result.
- 22:43Speaker 2: Again I've asked myself these questions like what do I love, what am I drawn to and what do I want to do at the moment.
- 22:51Speaker 2: So this has kind of been something that's like been evolving for the last probably year.
- 22:56Speaker 2: But I love my friends and I love my family, but I'm loving being less social.
- 23:02Speaker 2: I used to be such a social person, would have something on every single weekend, would always, always say yes to social events, would be the first person there like bells on yeah, I'm there.
- 23:12Speaker 2: But I've really been loving just hanging out at home or spending time with Bart or just doing things by myself, and for a long time I was like you can't be that person, jess, like you need to make an effort with people all the time, so keep going to coffee most mornings, keep booking in dinners and social events on the weekends, because you have to do that kind of stuff.
- 23:32Speaker 2: But I was like actually no, and again like going back to what story you're making up about things.
- 23:37Speaker 2: I'm just in this like phase of life where I'm loving being on my own, I'm loving just staying home and just relaxing and, as I said, it's like doing things for me, whether it's reading a book or just watching something on Netflix or just pottering around the home or going to a cop, like going to coffee or even going for a solo lunch or wine date, and again like that might sound so depressing to some people, but I'm just really enjoying my own time and I'm making that Okay.
- 24:09Speaker 2: So, as I said, as a result of that, like saying no to social events and not feeling guilty or not trying to justify it, just saying no won't be there and going to do what I want to do instead.
- 24:20Speaker 2: And I know a lot of people that will really hit home for a lot of people because I know, as women.
- 24:25Speaker 2: We wear a lot of hats and, without even realizing, we're stretching our time so much and expanding our capacity so much and we're not actually making a lot of time for what we really want.
- 24:36Speaker 2: So again, invitation to listen to what do you want?
- 24:39Speaker 2: Like, if there was no rule book, if you could just live life how you want, like, what would that look like?
- 24:44Speaker 2: And let's make an effort to start doing it.
- 24:48Speaker 2: Another little thing I've done recently is like I get the groceries delivered and I literally have one have the time to go and do grocery shopping.
- 24:55Speaker 2: I work for myself and my schedule is pretty much mine.
- 24:58Speaker 2: The grocery store is literally five minutes away from my house, but I just realized I hated going to do the groceries, especially because we would usually do the groceries on a weekend, and I hated that.
- 25:09Speaker 2: My weekend was spent in the grocery store.
- 25:11Speaker 2: Some people love grocery shopping and I would see people making it so romantic on Instagram and I'm like I've got to be that person.
- 25:19Speaker 2: No, I hate grocery shopping.
- 25:21Speaker 2: We're getting them delivered and that's something we've been doing and it's been the best thing ever.
- 25:26Speaker 2: Um, it's so, and it just means that I'm doing one less thing that I don't want to do and that I don't enjoy doing.
- 25:34Speaker 2: On that same note, cooking less as well.
- 25:36Speaker 2: So I used to be one of those people that's like no Monday through to Friday.
- 25:41Speaker 2: We've got to stay home, we've got to cook a home meal.
- 25:44Speaker 2: It's got to be healthy, you know all the things.
- 25:47Speaker 2: And I was like I sometimes can not be fucked to cook and I've been okay about that.
- 25:52Speaker 2: I'm like let's just get takeaway tonight, let's get Uber Eats tonight, let's just get a pizza tonight, and being okay about that and not making up that that's lazy and you know that's not very feminine of you not to be in the kitchen and cooking food and you've got the times you should be.
- 26:10Speaker 2: It's like I don't want to cook every night and I'm going to be okay about that.
- 26:13Speaker 2: And like we make kind of Thursday nights a pizza night and I it's one of my favorite nights of the week we get a pizza, have a glass of wine, we sit on the couch and we watch something on Netflix and I'm really enjoying those nights and I'm making that totally fine and, again, just removing the stories that I made may have made up around having to, yeah, be in this really regimented schedule throughout the week.
- 26:38Speaker 2: Um, because that's how I got brought up.
- 26:41Speaker 2: Same thing with my gym routine.
- 26:42Speaker 2: That's also kind of changed up a little bit.
- 26:44Speaker 2: So for a long time I was doing like high intensity training.
- 26:48Speaker 2: We were going to body fit if you're familiar with that on the Gold Coast and then we were going to a high altitude training place and I was just finding that I wasn't really excited to do that kind of training and I wasn't looking forward to it.
- 27:02Speaker 2: But, as I used to always do, I would just force it.
- 27:06Speaker 2: Anyway.
- 27:07Speaker 2: There was a group of us that would go.
- 27:09Speaker 2: So you know, there was that kind of commitment there that we'd meet at the gym and we'd do the things and and whatever.
- 27:17Speaker 2: And then one day I was like I don't enjoy it and I don't really want to make my gym social.
- 27:22Speaker 2: I just want to be able to get up, go and train by myself, not have to talk to anyone, and come home and have my breakfast and just do that all by myself.
- 27:30Speaker 2: So yeah, I guess just started saying no to like certain forms of movement.
- 27:35Speaker 2: I left that gym and now I'm just in my own little flow, going to my Pilates classes or my spin class, all by myself, coming home making breakfast, and again like not making that mean like a weird story about myself of like what's wrong with you, why don't you want to be social and go to the gym with people?
- 27:52Speaker 2: Because that's what you used to do, and just being like this is kind of what feels good for me right now and again just like giving myself permission to do that.
- 27:59Speaker 2: So some changes that I've made that have like, honestly, for a little while, like I did have that back and forth because certain things that I've changed used to work so well for me and was so part of my identity and who I was.
- 28:13Speaker 2: But again it's just realizing we're allowed to change things up, we're allowed to pivot, and it doesn't need to mean anything bad about us and honestly, like I think it's such an empowering thing to do in your life is to run your own race and be okay about that and not worry about what others think or if you're going to upset other people.
- 28:32Speaker 2: It's like living your life for you and when you do that, you'll find that the ripple effect beyond you is incredible and you inspire others to live life like that as well.
- 28:42Speaker 2: Um, so so, yeah, anyways, there are some changes that I've made in my life.
- 28:47Speaker 2: And, yeah, not making it mean that you're selfish or that you're going to be a bad mom or a bad wife or a bad friend or a bad business person If you make those changes that are more in line with more in line with living a life that you love, um, and yet it's giving yourself permission to do all of those things.
- 29:04Speaker 2: So I'll pop those journal prompts in the show notes below and I really encourage everybody to work through that themselves and figure out what they love, figure out what they don't love and then make some moves to be in accordance with that.
- 29:15Speaker 2: Because when you are doing more of the things you love and your life is more about fun and play and creativity, everything does become easier.
- 29:24Speaker 2: It's just how the universe operates.
- 29:27Speaker 2: When you are experiencing emotions like love and passion and pleasure and inspiration, your energetic field is much more expanded, which means things just start to show up a lot easier for you.
- 29:40Speaker 2: So it's really a win, win, win, win, win.
- 29:44Speaker 2: So, yeah, I hope this episode has inspired you guys to make some changes in your own life and yeah, of course, let me know if this has inspired you and what changes you'll be making and what permission slip you're giving to yourself.
- 29:56Speaker 2: And finally, if you want to read that book again, it's called Bending Reality by, I want to say, victoria Song, maybe.
- 30:03Speaker 2: Anyways, we'll leave it there.
- 30:05Speaker 2: Thank you so much for tuning in and I will talk to you guys in the next one.
