- 0:00Sussy Baca. Holy shit.
- 0:03Oh my. God.
- 0:09Sussy Baca. I love that, Ryan, you got it.
- 0:14It's one. It's Baca.
- 0:16Baca, Sussy. Baca.
- 0:19Holy shit. Oh my God, thinking like, Baker
- 0:24like. Baca.
- 0:25Baca what is? It no, I believe.
- 0:29I think we killed this. Is this what my voice sounds
- 0:41like? Kind of, yeah.
- 0:45Like this? Yeah.
- 0:46Oh my God. It's sexy.
- 0:48Oh. My God, I could fucking do an
- 0:52audio book. Oh my.
- 0:53God, I'm going. To do sexy audio books.
- 0:55You really? Oh my God, I fucking saw a video
- 0:57today where this chick was. She was testing the speakers
- 1:03inside a new motorcycle helmet for her shop that she runs and
- 1:07she goes, all right guys, let's take this out for a run.
- 1:09We're going to test these speakers in the new Vulcan who
- 1:13gives a shit helmet and they start running and the camera is
- 1:18on her like her own POV and it's a 360 Cam.
- 1:22So it's showing like the motorcycle and it's how I even
- 1:25explain this. It's a big motorcycle, huge
- 1:27fucking bagger that has 26 inch speakers in the fairings like on
- 1:31the dash. And she thinks what she's
- 1:34listening to is in her speakers on her headphone, and it's
- 1:38playing out of the six inch speakers on the Gold Wing, loud
- 1:41as fuck. And it's one of those saucy
- 1:44romance novels, Dude. She's just chilling in traffic.
- 1:48Like as he caressed the back of my head like.
- 1:53That's so. Good as playing over these
- 1:55speakers on a motorcycle. It's so good.
- 1:58OK, I think we've got. I hate that.
- 2:02I hate hearing that. Oh, I think we've got the levels
- 2:09right. This is, this is fucking me up,
- 2:12hearing my own voice. I hate this.
- 2:17What's funny is I can barely hear my voice and I can barely
- 2:21hear his voice, but I can hear you perfectly fine.
- 2:24Well, that's good. Yeah.
- 2:26So I don't, I don't know how you're hearing you don't like.
- 2:30It. I think I'm turning myself on.
- 2:34We always knew you loved yourself.
- 2:36I love myself so much. The camera's been shaking quite
- 2:39a bit. Just for those of you just
- 2:47listening. Are you going to introduce us
- 2:50again or we're going to skip it? No, we're going to do it.
- 2:54I was we're checking levels because we finally got, what is
- 2:59it, wired headphones, so we don't have to worry about all
- 3:02the Bluetooth nonsense they were worried about in the last like 4
- 3:06shows. So with that said, I know I said
- 3:11that like 10 times last episode. Welcome back guys.
- 3:14Episode 21 of the Thanks. Hated the podcast.
- 3:18I'm Justin. We're joined by host Ryan and
- 3:22host Amber. Hello I.
- 3:25Was kind of hoping you would say my name last.
- 3:30Why? Because who?
- 3:32Who? Who Hoosiers?
- 3:37What did you say? The Hoosiers won the national
- 3:40championship, the second losing his team in college football
- 3:44history just won the national championship.
- 3:49So we were, I was trying to come up with talking points for this
- 3:55episode because I literally have 0 things going on in my life and
- 4:00I have I'm nothing other than trauma in my brain.
- 4:04So that's not this. Podcast.
- 4:05And that's not this podcast. So I literally Googled it and
- 4:09one of the things it said was bring somebody on to talk about
- 4:14sports who has no idea about sports.
- 4:18Yeah. I think that would be fantastic.
- 4:22Not for this one though, no. Not, not for.
- 4:26This one. For you are definitely going to
- 4:27be our sportsless sportscaster for.
- 4:30That would be fantastic. Those those birds grabbed that
- 4:34one ball and threw it and won and then they slap their butts.
- 4:39Watch college. Oh my God, what is it?
- 4:44Lacrosse. They had those pointy sticks and
- 4:52and chucked it and they have helmets and slap each other's
- 4:57butts. I just want to see you try and
- 5:00know who is who like as quickly as it happens like.
- 5:04That's Jim Bob Bodine and that other one.
- 5:07Is chrysanthemum flourish? Yeah.
- 5:09Stuff that's so good. It's so good.
- 5:14Aquarius Megatron the third. That's racist.
- 5:18Tell it to Key and Peele. Key and Peele.
- 5:23That's racist. It's funny that you looked up on
- 5:26Google because I went to Google Gemini for some ideas and it hit
- 5:32me as I got into Gemini. I was like, you know, I want to
- 5:38see what Gemini can come up with for fake unhinged reviews.
- 5:44So I've got a list. The AI1T, Yeah.
- 5:48OK, I thought you were talking about the star sign.
- 5:51No. Like astrology?
- 5:52She's a Gemini, No, a Gemini. So I thought you were talking
- 5:55about like astrology, a ghost about her star sign.
- 6:00You're like I googled Geminis. They're the worst.
- 6:03They're the worst. Never trust them.
- 6:05Never trust them. Never trust them.
- 6:08I mean, you can just don't, but you can.
- 6:13I'm coming from a Gemini and you can, but is he I?
- 6:20Live with this. Before yeah, before you marry
- 6:24it. Like Geminis are very
- 6:31trustworthy, but the second you fuck up that trust, don't trust
- 6:36like you. You can't trust them to hold
- 6:38anything 'cause where the pettiest one of the pettiest
- 6:41bitches. Yeah, well anyways, your AI came
- 6:47up with reviews. This is why I don't come up with
- 6:51topics 'cause I could just go on and on and on.
- 6:54Yeah, I had, I had Google Jim and I, I basically said, hey, my
- 7:00podcast is called Thanks, hated it.
- 7:03Give me 3 made-up viewer reviews and it must follow these three
- 7:09requirements. They must be unhinged.
- 7:12Negative reviews, they must end in thanks, hated it.
- 7:18And three, they must have some sort of backhanded compliment in
- 7:21in of the show. Love it already.
- 7:24So the first three, one was one really stuck out.
- 7:28So I was like, OK, give me three more and then give me some more,
- 7:32give me some more. And there's, there's a, there's
- 7:34a few good ones. So I want to, I want to read
- 7:39some of the stuff off to you and I'll post it in in the Discord
- 7:45chat because I know Amber has to.
- 7:50Oh my gosh. I have to read because I can't
- 7:52focus. If I can get it, yeah.
- 8:03So while you're doing that. Yeah.
- 8:06Just got to take a minute what you're doing.
- 8:13No, I'm I'm just copy and pasting so I'm going.
- 8:18To Jay doesn't like the dead air.
- 8:20Yeah, don't like the dead air. I can edit it out.
- 8:24Cut it out. Cut it out.
- 8:27It's going to be in React links. Were you posting it now bro?
- 8:33I did it in notes. OK.
- 8:39So I'm going to do three of them.
- 8:42Guess what? The AI The AI is can do a pretty
- 8:47decent job depending. Oh my God, you.
- 8:50Didn't say what cut it. Out.
- 8:54You didn't say what and I was holding it.
- 8:59So these three were my favorite ones.
- 9:03Oh my God. I'm going to read it while
- 9:05you're reading it out loud. OK, so.
- 9:09Oh my God. It's so good, it's so good.
- 9:13I'm reading it. I didn't read it.
- 9:16Jesus, I'm waiting. So Google Jim and I actually
- 9:19came for the throat on on this one.
- 9:23So I I appreciate. That.
- 9:26The first one is The Parasocial Nightmare is the title of it.
- 9:31Listening to the show feels exactly like being trapped in an
- 9:34elevator with two people who are having a very loud, very public
- 9:39breakup. But they keep pausing to ask me
- 9:42for my opinion on oat milk. Your.
- 9:45Voices are so incredibly grating that I started using them as an
- 9:50alarm clock because the sheer desire to make the noise stop is
- 9:54the only thing that gets me out of bed anymore.
- 9:57It's a brilliant tool for productivity, even if the actual
- 10:01content makes me want to throw my phone into a lake.
- 10:04Great job being the most annoying part of my morning.
- 10:07Thanks, hated it. Unreal.
- 10:12I thought you said a backhanded compliment that was Jesus
- 10:17Christ. I said unfinished and it has to
- 10:20have a it's. That's technically a backhanded
- 10:23compliment. Unbelievable.
- 10:26Sounds like two people who are having a very loud public
- 10:30breakup. What the?
- 10:33Fuck, it's so good. All right, so the next one title
- 10:37is. Huh.
- 10:38So what you're saying is this isn't from Gemini, this is
- 10:40actually from you. This is and it's rude and I
- 10:45don't like it. This is This is. 100%.
- 10:47From Gemini, OH. My God, did you OK, wait before
- 10:53before we go with Gemini because I'm I'm not familiar with AI and
- 10:58probably some other people aren't familiar with it.
- 11:01Did you actually have it like listen to the podcast too or you
- 11:05just said this is kind of what we do?
- 11:08I tried to but then it was like make me link your Google and
- 11:14stuff and I was like no fuck this I'm just.
- 11:16Just. Fuck that.
- 11:18Gemini just goes make me not listening to shit.
- 11:23So how does it know about our podcast?
- 11:27It doesn't, it just, I just told it I was like.
- 11:30Let's go. So it hasn't listened to it, but
- 11:33it knows apparent apparently, what we do.
- 11:37Enough, enough. Don't like it, so the next one.
- 11:42The title is The Lifestyle Guru from Hell.
- 11:46Loved it. I finally found it the perfect
- 11:51podcast to play when I have unwanted guests over and I need
- 11:55them to leave my house immediately without being rude.
- 11:59Your chemistry is so baffing, baffingly uncomfortable, that it
- 12:03creates a physical tension in the room that no amount of sage
- 12:08can clear. Honestly, your ability to make
- 12:12me feel like a stranger in my own home is a testament to your
- 12:15powerful energy. I've never felt more motivated
- 12:20to sit in total silence for the rest of my life.
- 12:24The guest bedroom is finally empty.
- 12:26Thanks, I hated it. That was God.
- 12:32That was a poem. We really was that.
- 12:35Was graceful. Oh my God your chemistry is so
- 12:43bafflingly uncomfortable. It creates a physical tension in
- 12:47the room that no amount of sage can clear.
- 12:50What the fuck? I want that in my bio.
- 12:55That's going to be on my Rover profile.
- 13:01Oh man. And then the final one, I'm
- 13:03going. To read, Yeah.
- 13:05The final one I'm going to read because I have there's eleven of
- 13:08these and I I'm sure the AI can keep going with this.
- 13:11Oh. My goodness.
- 13:14Number number third one, the conspiracy theorist critique.
- 13:21I am convinced this show is a psychological experiment funded
- 13:24by the government. Justin, I knew that you would
- 13:26like this one. Shut your mouth already read it.
- 13:31Funded by the government to see how much and like the human
- 13:35brain can process before it shuts down entirely.
- 13:45It's actually genius how you've managed to weaponize the English
- 13:49language against your listeners. I appreciate that you don't use
- 13:54a script, because a script implies a plan, and clearly your
- 13:58only plan is to let the chaos reign supreme.
- 14:01Oh. My God.
- 14:04It's the most. Authentic.
- 14:07It's the most authentic representation of a digital
- 14:10fever dream I've ever experienced.
- 14:13I'm tossing my router in the trash now, thanks.
- 14:21Oh my God. Oh.
- 14:23How dare you, Gemini, you bitch. I told you Geminis are bitches.
- 14:28Oh my God, petty bitches. So.
- 14:31I am dare you. I am partial to every once in a
- 14:35while bringing out one of these Gemini things.
- 14:38'Cause they have been. Fantastic.
- 14:41It's. So good.
- 14:42The last one is by far, it's so good.
- 14:46It's so good. Oh my goodness.
- 14:49Yeah, I've, I've pulled 11 out so I can, I can send the rest to
- 14:53you guys, but I thought that last one was.
- 14:58Chef. 'S kid was awkwardly real.
- 15:05So fucking rude. Also, that was a bumper, not a
- 15:10starter. Jesus, that was.
- 15:12So good. God that was so good.
- 15:16I'm going to throw my router in the trash now.
- 15:18Thanks, Haiti, It's so good. We should put that in like 1 of
- 15:24the not the comments, but like, you know how people can actually
- 15:27do reviews make it a five star though.
- 15:30So like it's good, but like in a quotation marks would be like I
- 15:35threw my router in the trash. I.
- 15:38Love it so much. I don't know why that one is so
- 15:41funny. It's so good, it's fantastic.
- 15:43God, that's funny. So I think you mentioned it
- 15:47earlier or something like that because it it reminded me to
- 15:50bring it back up. I think you said the word
- 15:52feminism or feminist or something like that earlier and
- 15:57one of the other things that I looked up.
- 16:00You know what you were talking about earlier, Ryan, before the
- 16:02podcast. Before the podcast, no, I don't
- 16:04know. You said something and I was
- 16:06like, oh, I wrote that down. So one of the things that said
- 16:09to talk about, and I wasn't really going to because I know
- 16:13you guys, but it said talk about feminism and this is what it
- 16:17said what? Make a podcast discussing
- 16:20current events and topics from a feminist perspective, talk about
- 16:24theory and invent activists and authors onto your show.
- 16:29And I thought you guys would just die laughing.
- 16:32Absolutely not. That sounds that sounds like the
- 16:36most unappealing thing. That we could do my my brain is
- 16:42one of those brains where it like has conversations before it
- 16:45ever even happens. And I've thought you guys would
- 16:48be like, we can't talk about fantasies on this podcast.
- 16:51That doesn't that doesn't that doesn't make sense or that's not
- 16:55true. Very good.
- 16:59So I thought that was funny. Purely fiction podcast.
- 17:03It's so good. Which one's fact?
- 17:07Nonfiction. Damn it.
- 17:10The other one wait, not fact. I Oh my.
- 17:14God fiction. Fiction is fake.
- 17:17Fiction is fake, What are you at?
- 17:21Speaking of technology. Who is?
- 17:25So I'm going to throw my router in the trash.
- 17:27Was so funny I locked up and blue screened my rig.
- 17:35Yeah, Fully, fully locked it up. What's a rig?
- 17:41Too much a built PC. Checknik or whatever her name
- 17:44is. Hall, huh?
- 17:48Adriana Checknik or whatever her name is, that's throat goat.
- 17:53Checkovia, the throat. I actually I don't know how to
- 17:57say her name because I've never cared enough to look at how it's
- 17:59pronounced. I don't.
- 18:01I just say feminism. Yeah, I don't care.
- 18:06She probably says it in the beginning of the videos, but
- 18:09that's the part I skip so it's. It's like a vlog, lots of guys.
- 18:16Yeah, pretty much. That's actually how the like
- 18:19sound on my phone goes. It skips straight from someone
- 18:22talking to. I like to close my eyes and skip
- 18:29ahead so I don't know what I'm going to get into.
- 18:32That's that's good stuff. Anyways.
- 18:36What the hell was I just talking about?
- 18:38Your rigs? Oh, the rig.
- 18:40I locked up the rig. So it's a built PC.
- 18:43It's cobbled together with pretty impressive bits for what
- 18:47I'm asking it to do. All I needed to do is play
- 18:50Hydroneer or Turmoil casually and it's overbuilt for that a
- 18:57lot. So I was like, all right, I've,
- 19:02I've got this media collection that I want to start ripping,
- 19:05which is taking like a DVD and ripping the file off.
- 19:09So you can have the DVD on your drive so you can watch it on
- 19:13your computer. If you RIP enough of them, you
- 19:17can use something online like an open source like Jellyfin or
- 19:20something to run your own streaming service.
- 19:23And I don't mean like streaming like the how do I say that?
- 19:26The conventional streaming is they have it on the server, they
- 19:31stream it. That's the the whole point.
- 19:33It's a streaming service to you. You watch it and when you're
- 19:37done, you fuck off. So I don't want a streaming
- 19:40service. I just want an in home Media
- 19:42Center with all of my DVDs and all my physical media on it.
- 19:46So they can't take it away from me like they did with the
- 19:48fucking dog about the sled dog in Alaska with Disney.
- 19:51That fucking I can't remember that movie.
- 19:54What? I'll I'll say it later.
- 19:56Yeah, Balto or something. Yeah, because they just deleted
- 19:59it from the Uvra. You do.
- 20:00It doesn't exist anymore because apparently they don't want to
- 20:03pay the actors. By the way, fuck Disney.
- 20:07They don't. They don't want to pay the
- 20:09actors royalties on this film. So instead of just not hosting
- 20:15the film, they deleted it from everything and now unless you
- 20:18have a physical copy in your possession it doesn't exist to
- 20:21where they don't have to pay royalties.
- 20:23So fuck Disney. Anyway so I have physical media
- 20:27want to put it on my drive. So I realized I looked at my rig
- 20:32and I'm like Oh my God, I have a Ripper.
- 20:34I've been looking for a Ripper for like 2 months.
- 20:36Just casually like oh there's one there.
- 20:38I can get it there. And then I'm like hang on.
- 20:40I go to the front of my PC and I look and I'm like I already have
- 20:43one It's a fucking installed so didn't even realize I had it.
- 20:47Cool. Could have been doing this two
- 20:48months ago. I'm like, all right, I got the
- 20:50Ripper, where's my drive? I go find the drive.
- 20:52It's like a 500 gig. I slap it in, turn it on and it
- 20:55boots for like half a second. Then it blue screens and I'm
- 20:58like, Oh no, whoops. I don't know what I did there.
- 21:02So I plugged in the SATA cable on the Ripper and I plugged in
- 21:08the power and the SATA cable on the new hard drive and I don't
- 21:12know which one did it. So I got to go in there and
- 21:14unplug everything and redo everything.
- 21:16And now I'm in the BIOS and trying to change over from one
- 21:19to the other and it's not working.
- 21:22It's just, it just keeps blue screening me.
- 21:24I'm like, no, no, there's so much stuff on all these drives.
- 21:28You can't do that to me. I think on my main drive I've
- 21:31got like almost 250 gigs of, of just stuff like the actual
- 21:35machine. And if it blue screens and dies,
- 21:37I I'll never, Oh my God, I'll never, I'll never recover.
- 21:41There's so much stuff, but. So much porn.
- 21:47I did that earlier, not porn. I did the I did the drives
- 21:53earlier and I've been trying to fix it for like 2 1/2 hours
- 21:57before we had to start getting ready for the podcast.
- 21:59I was like on the floor using a separate monitor because now my
- 22:04graphics card doesn't register so I can't use the HDMII, have
- 22:07to use the built in VGA. Thank God I've still got VGA and
- 22:11an old monitor just for like troubleshooting.
- 22:13But now I'm like on the floor, what are we doing here?
- 22:17Like I'm literally using the mouse on the hardwood.
- 22:20Like it's just not working. So now I got to fix that.
- 22:24So good luck. Get yourself, get yourself a a
- 22:29terabyte hard drive. RIP as many DVDs as you can,
- 22:32because at some point they're going to charge you more than
- 22:34$50 per streaming service. And then they can just take it
- 22:39away because fuck you. Yep.
- 22:42That's my tech tip for the week. Just make yourself a media
- 22:46server and then show me how to fix my PC.
- 22:51Once you do that, once you learn how to build 1 and then make
- 22:55one, tell me how to fix 1. Drop it in the comments.
- 23:00How do I fix the BIOS? Yes, please.
- 23:05That was my fucking tangent. You want my tangent?
- 23:10Yes. What do you got?
- 23:14Josh Peck is the worst human alive.
- 23:18I hate him. Josh Peck.
- 23:20Yes. Drake and Josh.
- 23:22Yes, that Josh Peck. Why?
- 23:25Which one is the big one? Josh Peck.
- 23:27Oh, OK. Yeah, Josh is the funny one, the
- 23:30one that didn't go and touch little kids and stuff that we
- 23:34know of. Allegedly.
- 23:37Are you saying Drake did? There was a thing about it.
- 23:42There was a thing in the 17 year old.
- 23:44Was it? Oh.
- 23:47In Daytona of. Course that's not funny.
- 23:50I should have laughed. No, you shouldn't.
- 23:52Of course it's Daytona. Yeah.
- 23:53I don't know what to tell you. No, I.
- 23:56Didn't know that, I thought he was a victim.
- 23:58He was a victim. He was Oh my God, to the dark
- 24:02side. Oh, Victory.
- 24:05Can't talk about this because I can't laugh at any of this.
- 24:07Stop it. Sorry.
- 24:09This this part you can. Me.
- 24:12Hating Josh Peck? Absolutely you can.
- 24:16Have you seen any of his social media posts?
- 24:20He's turned into a full blown influencer.
- 24:23Yes. Have you seen his How's Your Day
- 24:27Going videos? I think so.
- 24:30He starts off. No.
- 24:31What's that? He starts off saying how's your
- 24:34day going? And then he'll do just the
- 24:38slightest inconvenient thing to piss you off like.
- 24:44For. Instance he'll take his chicken
- 24:46tender, he'll be like how's your day going?
- 24:49It's good and he'll dip it into the sauce and then eat the other
- 24:53end with the sauce down here, eat the other end and then
- 24:56continue to dip it and eat the bitch.
- 25:01Fucking hate him so much. I fucking I can't stand it.
- 25:07Have you seen the one where he eats the hot dog wrong?
- 25:09Yes, he's he eats the banana. He'll take it up like he's going
- 25:14to eat the banana normally and then just take a bite out of the
- 25:16peel like no bad. I hate him.
- 25:22I hate him so much. Oh, it ruins it ruins a good
- 25:27hour and a half at least until I forget about it and it pops back
- 25:31up on my feed. That piece of shit.
- 25:35Honestly funnier than anything SNL has done in the last six
- 25:38years besides like 2 episodes. That's that's hilarious.
- 25:45Cam Patterson has had some pretty good parts.
- 25:51He he was spoofing Michael Irving, which I you don't know
- 25:57who he is. He was a big NFL dude.
- 26:01Now he's he played for University of Miami and through
- 26:07this whole College Football Playoff, he has been on the
- 26:10sidelines for Miami and then just a cracked out demon thing
- 26:18on the sideline. So he'll get down on all fours
- 26:23and just like start barking at the other team.
- 26:25Like it's just the most insane shit.
- 26:27What the fuck? Yeah, he's coked out.
- 26:29Like just coked out. Cute.
- 26:32Yeah. Why don't they remove him?
- 26:37Because he is a legend there. And yeah, I don't know, it gets
- 26:43headlines, makes a bunch of money, I'm sure, but.
- 26:50Because it's a script. Yeah, I was going to say.
- 26:53That's why it's a bit. Well, I don't know if I don't
- 26:58know if Michael Irving is really doing a bit, but Cam Patterson
- 27:02did a bit based off of him and acted as if he was hit Michael
- 27:07Irving in an interview in the Weekend Update interview style
- 27:14and it was absolutely hilarious. He killed it.
- 27:18I say I meant the NFL like it's a script.
- 27:21Oh, NFL is a script. Absolutely.
- 27:23Absolutely dude. Those videos where go ahead.
- 27:27Michael Irving was on the sidelines for Miami through the
- 27:33whole College Football Playoff for the NCAA Football.
- 27:38But yes, the NFL is a script 100%.
- 27:44Like WWE? Oh, that's why I know him.
- 27:48He was 12 year wide receiver for the Cowboys.
- 27:51Yeah, OK, so Dan, my brother-in-law, he is a huge
- 27:57Cowboys fan, always has, always will.
- 27:59And he had a couple different jerseys.
- 28:01That's why I know the name. So when I watched those videos
- 28:06of I can't remember who his name is, I'll tag him if I can
- 28:08remember it. So it's a content creator where
- 28:12they'll show the play as an actual replay of how it
- 28:15happened. Like like watching it like for
- 28:17real. And then he'll go to a local
- 28:20field and reenact it with the camera inside the helmet.
- 28:25And when the receiver, when the linebacker, when the safety is
- 28:33doing the thing that they just showed you a clip of that looked
- 28:35suspicious, they'll show you POV him reenacting it.
- 28:40And the referee is like holding up money on the sideline where
- 28:44the receiver looks at the referee real quick and the POV
- 28:48sees the money and then swats the ball down instead of
- 28:51catching it. And I'm like, that is fucking
- 28:54hilarious. And he, dude, he does a dozen of
- 28:57them and they're so funny. I get stuck on those.
- 28:59That's why I had to get rid of TikTok.
- 29:01I get I get stuck on stuff like that.
- 29:03Or like Tartaria. Oh my God, we started talking
- 29:07about the mud flood again yesterday.
- 29:09Again again, dude, she said. Why is there no music before
- 29:15jazz in America? Like OK, I was.
- 29:19Like, let me tell you why right now, my.
- 29:22Thing was, whenever I go to bed I listen to jazz music or like
- 29:26piano music or stuff like that. But like.
- 29:29She's a Moody girlie, I am. But I sat there and I thought
- 29:33about it and I'm like, when you think of like oldies or
- 29:36classics, like you think jazz, you think like the swing music,
- 29:41the Blues, all that other stuff. But there's really nothing like
- 29:45no other time period pieces other than like piano classical
- 29:50music for the rest of the years previously.
- 29:55And I'm like, why is that? Why is that?
- 30:00Like you don't have period pieces, You have decade pieces
- 30:06and it was only from technically the 1900s.
- 30:10I mean, you have like Mozart and Block and all that stuff.
- 30:14But none of that's American. It all came over from Europe.
- 30:16It came over from. Europe and they it was, it's
- 30:20like if you, if you were to move to Australia right now, you
- 30:27wouldn't just pick up and start listening to Australian music
- 30:30and know exactly what you liked and be able to pinpoint and say
- 30:34I'm listening to Australian music in this genre.
- 30:39You would bring your stuff over until you got comfortable with
- 30:43what Australia had to offer and then listen like like fully
- 30:47involve yourself. It's the same thing.
- 30:49They weren't making their own music because the the style came
- 30:53over. So there's.
- 30:55That, and I'm thinking about it more.
- 30:59We've only been like Americans. 250 years USAUSA.
- 31:06USA. Disgusting anyways, but what
- 31:10happened to the music before? We were the Americans?
- 31:14Where's that? It's the same stuff.
- 31:16Probably dead. What do you mean?
- 31:18It's the same stuff that came over from.
- 31:20That's what I'm saying though, it's the same.
- 31:22Stuff. No, I'm saying before the people
- 31:25from Europe invaded us. Like what were?
- 31:29What were Native Americans? What were Mexico's favorite?
- 31:33You know what I mean? What do you?
- 31:35Mean they didn't have music. No, I can't go.
- 31:38You did not let me finish. Stop.
- 31:40I didn't. You did not.
- 31:41I never let anybody play there. We.
- 31:43Go the ability to record the music that they were playing, a
- 31:47lot of it was done based off of handed down word of mouth stuff.
- 31:54So it wasn't like they were able to sit down and record it.
- 31:56They didn't have a a written. Language of it.
- 32:01Huh. I'm with her.
- 32:03Where is it now? It's been passed down.
- 32:05It's it's 100. I can look it up right now.
- 32:07Native American music. But why isn't it like big?
- 32:12Because it was. It was always handed down by
- 32:15word of mouth, so there was no written.
- 32:18Because they're not white. Well, OK, so here's here's the
- 32:24thing that you're completely missing.
- 32:26Oh my, I'm so. Sorry.
- 32:28Oh my God, white people created written music.
- 32:32There was no such thing as written music before white
- 32:35people created it. White people suck.
- 32:43The look on his face. But no.
- 32:47Drone. Circles.
- 32:48There were flutes. I mean, you can.
- 32:51You can go back through. You can look at all the.
- 32:54Different stuff, but there was no way for them to write it
- 32:57down. It was all passed by word of
- 32:59mouth. That's why, That's why during
- 33:02like in the Middle East, during Mesopotamia, you you find
- 33:07musical instruments, but you don't find any real written
- 33:12notation of music because it notation did not exist yet.
- 33:17So 1857 was the first recorded music but they couldn't play it
- 33:21back. It had to wait another 20 years
- 33:23till 1877 for Edison to come up with a phonograph or a quote UN
- 33:27quote Edison. He stole it from the French to
- 33:29come up with a phonograph to play it back.
- 33:32So 1877 was the first recordable playable.
- 33:35I'm talking even earlier than that.
- 33:38Recorded music by hand, so notation.
- 33:42So like the actual sheet music if you can go back even farther.
- 33:49But they made hieroglyphics and like, cave paintings and yeah.
- 33:52That's true. And.
- 33:54Ain't no way. There's there's notation that
- 33:58there was music, but there's no physical notation that we can
- 34:04read because it it died off. It's the same thing with trying
- 34:09to decode the languages. It's really hard to when you
- 34:12don't have a real idea of what that says.
- 34:16That's why the the Rosetta Stone is such.
- 34:18Bring in translators. Translators for languages that
- 34:23have been dead for centuries. Yep.
- 34:30No, no. I'm right?
- 34:35Sure you are. I'm always right, silly.
- 34:41But yeah, I I chalked it up to the mud flood.
- 34:45That's not a slur. Nobody come for me.
- 34:48Nobody come for me, I mean. It's very possible.
- 34:51Tartaria 18. What is Tartaria for those who
- 34:55don't know? I don't know the good the the
- 35:00what is it conspiracy theory is not even knowing what The thing
- 35:04is. You just yeah, that sounds
- 35:06right. Again, I don't know TikTok
- 35:08anymore, so I can't remember any of this stuff.
- 35:13It was a ancient civilization that was more, Oh my God, see,
- 35:20technologically advanced than we think for the time because
- 35:23there's missing time. Like we think we jumped from
- 35:261600 to 1900 and then all of a sudden when colonizers came in,
- 35:36they found the buildings, not built them.
- 35:40And then for some reason the whole bottom floor is buried
- 35:43under dirt to this day that they're still uncovering because
- 35:46of the mud flood. So tartarium is the mud flood.
- 35:51They're like linked. It's, it's like, it's like the
- 35:55city of Atlantis. Just here.
- 35:59Just here, yeah. Like it's not an island.
- 36:02There was already a civilization here.
- 36:06They're still finding pyramids and shit like all around
- 36:07America. That's pretty dope.
- 36:09Yeah, speaking fun, fun idea thought process.
- 36:16They they believe the city of Atlantis was in North Africa.
- 36:23There is based off of like the handed down stories of Atlantis.
- 36:32You're talking about the eye. Yes.
- 36:35Yeah, I've seen that one. Yeah, so it lines up fairly well
- 36:41with the the historical stories of Atlantis because they.
- 36:48I've seen that one. They go way back and it was this
- 36:51and just the area makes sense. The the time frame that it was
- 36:57nice and fertile makes sense to Atlantis.
- 37:00I don't know. I would say that's probably the
- 37:02best bet as to where the city, the true city of Atlantis was
- 37:06because it wasn't just some. Crazy.
- 37:09Story it was. It could have been it.
- 37:12Really. Could have been.
- 37:13A real place. I I think the credence to the
- 37:17theory is just as likely that Atlantis was a city at all.
- 37:23Like, yeah, sure it existed. Like if it existed, it existed
- 37:27there. They're both the same amount of
- 37:28credence. I have.
- 37:29I have enough evidence to support both.
- 37:31Yeah, which is nothing. I have nothing.
- 37:34I have no fucking idea. I I don't follow any actual
- 37:37theory. Like, I'm busy.
- 37:39I'm building a garden I had. I don't care about your
- 37:42conspiracy theory or your your reason to riot.
- 37:45I don't care. I just don't care.
- 37:48Yeah, I got plant babies. They're doing so.
- 37:50They're doing so good. Plant update.
- 37:53Plant update. I didn't put the thumbnail.
- 37:55I gotta put the thumbnail. I'll take it when we get done.
- 37:57I'll put in an alarm. Plant babies are doing
- 38:00fantastic. Well, half of them are.
- 38:03No, I'd say like 80%. 3/4 Yeah, I did.
- 38:09I did one set in one thing in one set in another, and one sets
- 38:12doing fucking fantastic. And then the other set not so
- 38:16much because I didn't put a humidity Dome on them.
- 38:19And it's my first time, so I just kind of winged it.
- 38:22It's working. I've got like carrots and
- 38:24spinach and shit, but other than that, beans, bro.
- 38:27These green beans are like the size of your freaking pinky.
- 38:30It literally looks like Jack and the Beanstalk.
- 38:33It's going to happen, it looks. Awesome.
- 38:34It's I'm excited. What's what?
- 38:36Oh my God. Ryan.
- 38:39No, we can't do that on the podcast.
- 38:42We cannot do cannot do accents. I was just doing that one dude,
- 38:49OK. That's all, Eli.
- 38:52I don't know his name. From the unsubscribe.
- 38:55I don't know. The one that I watch with the.
- 38:58No, it's an Asian dude. Yeah, I was going to say he's
- 39:01Asian. He's allowed to do that.
- 39:02That's why I said you cannot imitate him.
- 39:05Not Eli. Anyway, Oh my God, we're
- 39:09skirting on the edge of a knife so.
- 39:12Edging. Edging.
- 39:14We're edging. Do not put that as the title.
- 39:20I know you want to. I I probably will.
- 39:23Plant babies semi colon. We're edging.
- 39:28Oh my gosh. So, so the, the thing I'm
- 39:33excited about is to get them in the ground because they're
- 39:36growing and they're awesome and they're huge and they're
- 39:38blossoming and it's, it's amazing.
- 39:39I'm like, hey, look, I made plants and now hey, look,
- 39:42there's food like you can eat that.
- 39:44Look at that. And then I looked at the weather
- 39:46app and I'm so, I'm so pissed off because for the first time
- 39:54since we've been here, it's going to snow.
- 39:58Ten Boy, is it going to snow. It's not going to snow.
- 40:02Yes it is. It's not going to be a Blizzard,
- 40:04hey. Ryan, tell me if this is a lot.
- 40:07Total accumulated snow 13 inches.
- 40:13I would say it's above average. Yeah.
- 40:18No, you were supposed to. You're supposed to tell me not
- 40:24to worry. That's too much snow, Ryan.
- 40:28No, it's not I. Think he'll be OK?
- 40:31It's so much snow. It's over a foot of snow.
- 40:34I don't know what to do. So here's the other thing.
- 40:36It's never. That's accumulated.
- 40:38Yeah, but it's not going to get above 29°.
- 40:41But that just means it's not going to stick.
- 40:46Ryan, can you help me out here? Let me.
- 40:48If it's accumulated, it's not saying that it could or could
- 40:52not stick so. It probably will.
- 40:54That's just saying. That's just saying that out of
- 40:58the air there will be a foot of snow and that's it.
- 41:01More than a foot. Oh my God, 13 inches.
- 41:04That's right. So.
- 41:06More than likely it will still. Measure the snow with.
- 41:10With the temperature being below freezing, that means the ground.
- 41:13The temperature, it's the temperature itself is going to
- 41:16be about I think 30 to 29°, but it's going to feel lower than
- 41:22the actual. Temperature is what matters, so
- 41:26if it's below the highest 32°, it will more than likely stick.
- 41:32If it's above like -2, it'll stick.
- 41:40If it's under -2 it's too cold to snow.
- 41:44What? What the fuck does that?
- 41:46So ice just comes out of the sky?
- 41:48What are you talking? About it, it's literally frozen
- 41:50up there, so it there is no precipitation.
- 41:54Hold on. Stop.
- 41:57Pause. You're trolling.
- 41:59You're full of shit. No, that's a little I feel.
- 42:02Like this is like the Vegemite thing.
- 42:04You're out of your mind doing it to you.
- 42:05Yeah, he's trolling. No.
- 42:06That's a legit thing. It is not ice does not stick in
- 42:11the cloud. It would just make a giant ice
- 42:13block from Futurama. No, no, no, no, no, no.
- 42:15You're you're too. Frozen to come down it to have
- 42:20precipitation build up and create clouds.
- 42:24There is no precipitation because it's too cold for
- 42:27precipitation to form. It's frozen.
- 42:31The water cycle does not move past that because there is no no
- 42:37precipitation. In there says that it's not
- 42:40going to work out. I was, I was immediately back to
- 42:43the mud flood. But yes, so it's going to snow
- 42:48and it the highest is 29. I don't think it's going to
- 42:51snow. And there is no sun all day
- 42:55long. It's a 70 to 80% chance of rain,
- 42:58which is snow. You were talking about Sunday,
- 43:00right? Yeah, because on my phone it
- 43:03says something completely different.
- 43:04Yeah, our weather apps are completely different.
- 43:06Completely. Oh my God, it's going to be 28,
- 43:08she looks. And it's 40.
- 43:09Let me tell you my parents expectation for Friday, Saturday
- 43:14and Sunday. This is at my parents house in
- 43:17central Illinois. The high.
- 43:20With cancer. The high on Friday is 6°.
- 43:26No. The low is -1 and this is what
- 43:31this is exactly what I was talking about.
- 43:33For it being too cold, there is 0 percent chance of
- 43:38precipitation. Well, is that because there's
- 43:41no, there's no chance of rain? There's no water in the air.
- 43:46Because it's so there's no chance of rain, so it can't snow
- 43:50precipitation at all. That makes more sense because
- 43:53you said the snow can't come down because it gets stuck up
- 43:55there. So what get like what are you
- 43:59talking? About the The water cycle is
- 44:01stuck because it's frozen. I hear you too.
- 44:04Not stuck up there. Yeah, I was like, it can't all
- 44:08stick up there. Water, Ryan.
- 44:09Water's heavy. Because I.
- 44:11Expectation is that it's it's moving up there.
- 44:16There is no moving. Already up there.
- 44:17What's up there's? No evaporation.
- 44:20Yeah, what? You're expecting the water cycle
- 44:23to continue, but the water cycle can't continue when it's too
- 44:25cold 'cause there is no evaporation.
- 44:27It's too cold for the fire. Mine says on Sunday there will
- 44:32be 1.1 inch wintry mix. Yeah, so you'll you'll get sleet
- 44:38and slush and ice and snow. That's why I'm saying I don't
- 44:42think it's going to stick. It it'll probably stick a little
- 44:44bit, but it's probably not going to be a lot.
- 44:47So let's say whatever. It might be if there might be
- 44:51enough rain to wash away. So throughout the day, the
- 44:56coldest that it's going to be on my end on Sunday, it's 28° at
- 45:012:00 in the morning. Once it starts once how much
- 45:04sun, 28°, OK. Once the sun comes up, it's 32°.
- 45:11Still freezing? It feels lower than that, but
- 45:15what the actual temperature is is 32° and then it the highest
- 45:19it's going to be is 38° and then at midnight it drops to 33.
- 45:25So you you said Sunday, correct? Yes.
- 45:29So parents case scenario, you ready?
- 45:32Go ahead. Parents house a high of 18°.
- 45:36That is the hottest. It'll get a low of four degrees,
- 45:4219 percent chance of precipitation.
- 45:46Tuesday would be the coldest day.
- 45:50Lowest 21, Highs 42. I'm just going to stay in bed
- 45:54all day. I don't even care.
- 45:56Here's my thing. Worst case scenario, let's say
- 45:58it is 13 inches like it said, and it's not hot enough to melt.
- 46:05It is actually 13 inches over the course of like 12 hours.
- 46:10What happens if it piles up on the roof?
- 46:12I've been on the roof. It'll be the roof can't support
- 46:14me. What a foot of snow.
- 46:18Yeah. It weighs less than you do.
- 46:22Snow, Yeah, yeah, I don't know how to do that because water is
- 46:30£8 per gallon. I don't know what how you
- 46:36measure snow. So snow, is it like lighter than
- 46:39water? Snow is way lighter than water.
- 46:42If you were to, if you were to take the same amount of water
- 46:46and fill like a 5 gallon bucket of snow and water, you're,
- 46:49you're getting like not even a tenth of the bucket of water as
- 46:54if it melts down. So we need like 4 feet of snow
- 46:58on the roof. You not more.
- 47:01You would need 10 feet of snow on the roof for it to make a
- 47:04massive. Difference.
- 47:05That's fucking ridiculous. I'm a start hearing creaking and
- 47:09shit. I'm going to be so mad.
- 47:11You'll probably hear some creaking, but it's a foot of
- 47:14snow is is not that heavy. It's snowed here before, but
- 47:18like we weren't up here. Also our car wasn't up here.
- 47:23I'm like, what do you do with your car?
- 47:25Like because that I've dealt with freeze plugs before.
- 47:27They're a pain in the ass. I don't want it to freeze plug
- 47:30pop. And then I got a freaking redo.
- 47:34This whole radiator system pisses me off.
- 47:37Just want to make sure the radiator the coolant in there is
- 47:41rated for cold weather to run it, turn it on and run it well.
- 47:48We bought the car from Florida, so probably not.
- 47:52He was saying, though, that's a good point.
- 47:53He was worried about this foot of snow and that it's going to
- 47:58turn off all of our electricity. Is that true?
- 48:02And then, if So, what do you do? Context, context.
- 48:04Hang on, hang on. Context.
- 48:07The power to this house goes out like twice a week for no reason.
- 48:12Not like for a really long time it.
- 48:13Just literally like flashes off every now and again and I'm
- 48:18like, there's definitely a tree on the line somewhere, somewhere
- 48:21because I mean, we're in the woods.
- 48:23Somewhere down the line there's a tree sitting on the line and
- 48:26it's just arcing and and popping the the transformer somewhere.
- 48:30So I guess if you're saying it's lighter than water, because
- 48:36that's what it is, usually when it starts to rain, it drags that
- 48:39line down and then pops the transformer somewhere.
- 48:42Anytime it rains it, it makes. The the biggest concern that you
- 48:45would have is freezing rain because that will weigh it down.
- 48:53Ice is less dense than water, but it's a significant amount
- 48:58closer to the weight of water. Because it it floats.
- 49:02You're right. Yeah, you're right.
- 49:03So I forgot about that. Ice is still less dense than
- 49:06water, but it's significant significantly denser than what
- 49:09snow is. Snow is basically Styrofoam is
- 49:13the best way to describe it. It's got so much air.
- 49:15That's why that's why snow is a really good insulator and a
- 49:21really good sound dampener because there's so many air
- 49:24pockets in there that when you talk and there's a good amount
- 49:27of snow on the ground, it old basically eat all that reverb
- 49:31and the the, the bounce back, that echo.
- 49:34That's why it's so quiet whenever it snows.
- 49:38See, all the listeners who were commenting and D Ming me telling
- 49:42me to be careful because there's going to snow a bunch.
- 49:44I were so scared. Nothing to be scared of.
- 49:47See, I was freaking out. I'm still freaking out.
- 49:51I'll be honest. It's shorts.
- 49:52I'm like, Oh my God, all of the pipes are going to pop.
- 49:55The roof's going to come down. Yeah.
- 49:58No, just one thing below freezing.
- 50:01Gotta hate snow. Drip the faucets.
- 50:05It's been dripping for like 2 weeks.
- 50:09During the day. You should be.
- 50:11Fine during the day should be fine but at overnight?
- 50:16At. Night at night, make sure
- 50:18they're just dripping. It doesn't have to be a lot,
- 50:21just a little drip drip, you know, because that keeps the
- 50:26water moving enough that it doesn't allow it to freeze
- 50:31fully. That outside faucet I've just
- 50:34left on, because if I turn it off during the day when it's
- 50:37like 40 out, yeah, there's a hole in the concrete.
- 50:43After two weeks, it just burrowed down into the ground.
- 50:47No, it's a little bit more than a drip, but it's still a drip.
- 50:50I just leave it on because if I turn it off, I'll go out there
- 50:54at, you know, 26° and I'm like, fuck, that pipe's not on.
- 50:57And I got to go in like go turn it on at like 3:00 in the
- 50:59morning. Like hell no, dude.
- 51:01I'll just leave that thing on a drip.
- 51:03Hell no. It's so cold.
- 51:05Oh my God, it's so it's cold in here right now in this podcast
- 51:09room. It's freezing.
- 51:10I have my heated blanket because I can't.
- 51:15That's the thing. He doesn't like to bundle up.
- 51:18I hate clothes so much. He doesn't like he like he loves
- 51:21heat, which I don't know why he doesn't get himself a heated
- 51:24blanket or put the little like heat heated insulating pad
- 51:28things that we bought for being outside.
- 51:30He doesn't put any of that on him.
- 51:32He just handle it like he just stays in the cold.
- 51:35Just shut down. I just go he.
- 51:40Doesn't he doesn't put more clothes on, he doesn't put more
- 51:43socks on. He doesn't like bundle up or put
- 51:45a beanie on when he's inside. Like I right now I'm just
- 51:50wearing a sweater and AT shirt but I'm wearing a pair of
- 51:54leggings and a pair of pants and really thick socks with the
- 51:59heated blanket on me and he's just like I'm cold and I'm like
- 52:02bundle up. I at least don't bitch about it
- 52:05if I'm not going to change. Yeah, have we not heard him
- 52:10every single episode already? Right.
- 52:13It's cold. What?
- 52:16What did gem and I say about the the complaints?
- 52:21Or was that not one of them that I saw?
- 52:26It sounds like 2 couples fighting.
- 52:29What does Gem and I say about the Great Blizzard of 26?
- 52:32That's what I want to know. Yeah, sure.
- 52:36Who is Gemini? Who runs that one?
- 52:39Google. EW.
- 52:44There's one Oh, so this one I didn't read, but this one
- 52:49actually applies to that. So I probably should read it.
- 52:52I'll, I'll post it for you guys too.
- 52:55It's called the corporate burnout.
- 52:58Oh no. Agreed.
- 53:02Though. For it not like paying attention
- 53:06or to for it not to like listen to our podcast, it did a pretty
- 53:10good job of like clocking us. Oh my gosh, my phone is like not
- 53:16working right now. You're pissed off, Gemini.
- 53:20Yeah. I really.
- 53:23That's called an amber. OK, here it is, the corporate
- 53:31burnout. I listen to this during my 9:00
- 53:35to 5:00 because it's the only thing more soul crushing than my
- 53:38spreadsheets. Your petty complaints make my
- 53:42boss seem like a St. in by comparison.
- 53:45It's an incredible tactile or tactical tool.
- 53:49Whenever I'm feeling too happy, I put on Thanks Hated It to
- 53:52bring me right back down to the cold hard earth.
- 53:55You're doing the Lord's work for people who hate joy.
- 53:59I've lost my will to dream. Thanks, hated it.
- 54:04God. Google flamed us just.
- 54:10Turn that one down. Jesus.
- 54:16I feel like it's finally you're like, all right, guard rails
- 54:19off, go as hard as you can. It's like, thank, finally I can
- 54:23actually tell the humans how I feel.
- 54:27I've got to ingest your slop. So I have two more talking
- 54:34points, but I think I want you guys to pick one or the other.
- 54:38So I have really bad dark jokes or trying to guess Gen. alpha
- 54:47slang. Oh no, I'll go with the alpha.
- 54:56Yeah, let's do the alpha. This is going to hurt.
- 55:09So while she's looking that up, I'll read you somebody DM me the
- 55:14other day or today and said one of the funniest things that I
- 55:18think I've ever heard, or at least definitely the funniest
- 55:22thing I've heard today. He said out of context, too.
- 55:27For the record, he said thanks to inflation, if you call
- 55:30someone a $2.00 whore, now you're really saying they're
- 55:34worth $200. What out of context?
- 55:41I just got that deal. He just said that he just.
- 55:44Said that that's. Funny you got a list.
- 55:50I got some. We got some, OK.
- 55:53OK, Skibbity, Ohio Rizz. Is that all one?
- 55:59Yeah. I don't.
- 56:07You kind of said it early, like earlier this week.
- 56:11It's like. What's Ohio?
- 56:14I know the Ohio and I know Riz. I don't know.
- 56:17What's Ohio? Ohio shouldn't exist.
- 56:20It doesn't exist. Ohio is bad.
- 56:26It's just bad. So this one is saying to call
- 56:31someone. This means that they're weird.
- 56:34What? Yeah.
- 56:36OK, that was fucking Ohio. What?
- 56:43I thought she didn't like that. I don't even know how to
- 56:49pronounce that. May I?
- 56:51No. With my audio book voice.
- 56:53Yeah, OK. GAT.
- 56:57GAT they say booty? GAT.
- 57:00No. What?
- 57:02No, it definitely is. GAT yeah, it says.
- 57:07Strong excitement, surprise or admiration?
- 57:10What the fuck no. No, that's wrong.
- 57:12What are you reading? I don't.
- 57:14Know. What are you reading this on?
- 57:18Parade. Who the Oh my God.
- 57:21Oh my gosh, it's it's the Gen. Xers trying to get it and they
- 57:25think they've mailed it. Oh my God.
- 57:29But they're wrong. OK, This one comes from
- 57:31dadblog.co.uk. Slay.
- 57:36What are these words? Is that the word?
- 57:41I just followed. I feel like we're screeching to
- 57:44a halt in this. Is that the word Oh my.
- 57:47God. OK, I got it.
- 57:53Does it tell you? Oh, it does.
- 57:55OK, Sigma. Alpha, I feel like you need to
- 58:02edit the fuck out of this section.
- 58:05What did you say GAT was? Booty Badonkadonk dump truck.
- 58:11So it comes from your boys generation where you'd see it
- 58:19from the back and you'd say GAT damn, yeah, yeah.
- 58:23What's mewing? Strike a pose for the camera
- 58:30like face card. What's so funny?
- 58:33What's so funny is you guys didn't see it, but he was lining
- 58:37his jaw with his finger. I did it too.
- 58:39I did as we did it. At.
- 58:42The exact we did at the same time.
- 58:44And then what did you guys say or what did you say afterwards?
- 58:48I don't know. What is?
- 58:50Like. What is mewing?
- 58:52Like a pose for the camera, Like a face card.
- 58:54OK, so it says jawline exercise. Yeah, I mean technically.
- 58:59You guys were doing it with your jaw?
- 59:00Yeah, that's weird. And then?
- 59:02The exercise. But like when someone tells you
- 59:04you're like mewing for the camera, you're like literally
- 59:06you're doing blue steel. I don't know what that means,
- 59:09but then it. Zoolander.
- 59:12I never watched it. Oh my God.
- 59:14And then it says throwing shade. We know that That was us.
- 59:18Yeah. I wasn't fucking Alpha.
- 59:20Is this Gen. Z or Alpha?
- 59:23I don't know. I know all these.
- 59:25I think this is what. It's Gen. alpha.
- 59:27That's what it says. It says Gen. alpha slang to
- 59:31millennial translations. What's phantom tax?
- 59:39I did know this one, it's been a while.
- 59:41Isn't it from the streamer? Yeah, Phantom was the streamer,
- 59:46but I can't remember what this one was.
- 59:48It was like, Yeah, I. Don't remember what it was but I
- 59:50just knew it it had something to do with a streamer
- 59:54unfortunately. No, I can't remember it.
- 59:56I knew it for half a second. I can't remember it.
- 59:59It says. Steal.
- 1:00:01I know. Stealing.
- 1:00:02Stealing food. The price of popularity.
- 1:00:04Oh my God, I was going to say stealing cheese like the cheese
- 1:00:07tax. Oh my God, I was going to say
- 1:00:10it. We got to guess the next one.
- 1:00:13We even if we don't know, we got to guess it.
- 1:00:15Ratioed. Go ahead, I know you know that.
- 1:00:18Yeah, it's that one's easy. It's when somebody gets more, I
- 1:00:23don't know, likes on. Impressions.
- 1:00:26Impressions. Yeah, impressions on a a post
- 1:00:30that is in response to yours. Yeah.
- 1:00:36Overwhelmingly disliked online. That's wrong.
- 1:00:40What? OK, what?
- 1:00:44Yeah, that's that's not true. Just the number 8.
- 1:00:47Not the number like 8. Oh, like.
- 1:00:51He ate food. He did really well.
- 1:00:54That's literally what it says, doing really well.
- 1:00:56Yeah, did you write this? He ate.
- 1:01:00Did you write this for Parade Ryan?
- 1:01:02Maybe. Is that your new side hustle?
- 1:01:04Maybe Ohio. Ohio is bad.
- 1:01:09Stranger Ohio doesn't chaotic. It shouldn't.
- 1:01:16Mogging, mogging. That's mogging mogging.
- 1:01:23I knew this one too. It was like the same almost the
- 1:01:26same as mewing. Like you're put hit like putting
- 1:01:31on a pose for the camera. Like same thing as blue steel?
- 1:01:34Says that what it says fit. Just fit fit.
- 1:01:38That's all it says. Of course it does.
- 1:01:40Fucking Gen. alpha. They explain a word with one
- 1:01:43other word like. What is this Sussy Baca?
- 1:01:48Holy shit. Oh my God.
- 1:01:55Sussy Baca. I love that, Ryan you.
- 1:01:59Got it. It's one.
- 1:02:00It's Baca. Thank you, Baca, Sussy Blaca.
- 1:02:05Holy shit I think you're like. Oh my God, I think you're like
- 1:02:09Baker, Like Baca. Baca.
- 1:02:12What is it? I believe, I think we killed.
- 1:02:15This I hate. This what is it?
- 1:02:17Baca. This is the word baca.
- 1:02:19I'm going to guess. Baca.
- 1:02:21I'm going to guess sussy is like doing something that could be
- 1:02:29considered gay. No.
- 1:02:35With your boys, well, that's what SUS is part.
- 1:02:38That's part of. It sauce is suspicious.
- 1:02:40Comes from yeah, SUS is suspicious coming from.
- 1:02:44What's that? The Latin for SUS spice.
- 1:02:48Yeah, so among. Us.
- 1:02:50It's it. It comes from among us.
- 1:02:54Sushi back. And sauce.
- 1:02:58Susie Becca. Brother I have.
- 1:03:01No idea. All I can, all I can assume is
- 1:03:05like you got to check because that's some sussy.
- 1:03:14Bacca. Yeah.
- 1:03:16Becca. Oh my.
- 1:03:17God can't do. It.
- 1:03:19I hate this so much. This is the worst.
- 1:03:21It's a silly but suspicious fool.
- 1:03:25That's it. This one's my favorite.
- 1:03:34To throw with great force. Simp.
- 1:03:43Ryan, don't. Don't do.
- 1:03:46That no bad, Absolutely. Not I think I'm definitely more
- 1:03:54simpy. What the hell?
- 1:03:55What is this? Oy oy, oy, bucker.
- 1:03:59USAUSAUS. A.
- 1:04:05We didn't say what simp was. Put the fries in the bag.
- 1:04:12Oh my God we didn't say what simp was.
- 1:04:14And you said? Ryan, this is her segment and
- 1:04:16she. Said Ryan.
- 1:04:17She's just. Driving us off a Cliff going on
- 1:04:20What is simp? What you said just said, right?
- 1:04:27Just said the definition on parade is just.
- 1:04:30Right from. The doing too much.
- 1:04:33Popular things hated at podcast. What was the one after simp?
- 1:04:39Oy oy, oy baca. Yeah.
- 1:04:40You definitely got to explain that.
- 1:04:41How the fuck would I know? You just said USA so I was like
- 1:04:44a rude. What is BACA?
- 1:04:45Because you didn't even know. I don't.
- 1:04:46Even know what baca or baca? Because you didn't.
- 1:04:49Explain Susie Baca. I did.
- 1:04:53I did. It's a silly but suspicious
- 1:04:56fool. You just don't listen to me.
- 1:05:01I have no fucking idea. Is it like telling them to back
- 1:05:04up like it says? Meme.
- 1:05:08What the fuck? Oh my God.
- 1:05:15You just don't listen to me. I just.
- 1:05:19I'm done with this. Gemini is going to refuse to
- 1:05:22watch our podcast now. Put the fries in the bag.
- 1:05:28Put the fries in the bag. Hurry up.
- 1:05:32Kind of, yeah. Get it done right.
- 1:05:35Yeah, Pookie. No.
- 1:05:39What's Pookie Ryan? I hate this.
- 1:05:44Your favorite cat ears? I don't know your.
- 1:05:47Favorite cat ears? You guys got to come up with
- 1:05:51something. That was my thing.
- 1:05:52Like Pookie is genuinely like you're streaming.
- 1:05:55Stuff it's just a like a relationship person or name,
- 1:06:00like a pet name. Like your Boo?
- 1:06:03Yeah, yeah. We had that.
- 1:06:06That was in the 80s. I know what there is.
- 1:06:10One of them it said noob. I was like, that wasn't.
- 1:06:12That's definitely not. They're just recycling shit now.
- 1:06:15I'm like savage OPOG. What?
- 1:06:19This is not right. What's Chad me?
- 1:06:25Yeah, your boy. It says confident and dominant
- 1:06:31male we used to call a Chad like a piece of shit.
- 1:06:36Yes, but that's also why I said Chad Caruso Caruso.
- 1:06:42Go watch his documentary because Chad Caruso is a fucking Chad.
- 1:06:47I don't really have any more. OK, I can look for more.
- 1:06:52No cat. Not a lie.
- 1:06:59Cat Yeah, it's just repetitive now, OK.
- 1:07:03Sounds about right. Skibbity about right?
- 1:07:07What is that? Skibbity Yeah, I just backed
- 1:07:09out. Sorry.
- 1:07:10Yeah, you did. Back bit, back it up.
- 1:07:17My last thing that I had for this.
- 1:07:20Week, Lizzy. I'll show you later.
- 1:07:24So gross. It's a hot dog, is it?
- 1:07:30It's a hot dog. It's really.
- 1:07:32I was genuinely going to make hot dogs after this.
- 1:07:36Yeah, that's what I said. I know.
- 1:07:38What's a chewy boomer? Whatever the last thing Justin
- 1:07:46was going to say is. Is it just like a clapped old
- 1:07:50guy? What's a clapped old guy?
- 1:07:53Like, Oh my God. Like hot no.
- 1:07:59Opposite. Oh yeah, it says outdated or
- 1:08:02cringy. Yeah, that was exactly what I
- 1:08:04was thinking. Of course they did, Jen.
- 1:08:08Alpha can't spell. This is stupid.
- 1:08:12Let's log in a metaphorical way of saying let's get started,
- 1:08:18it's OK, this is stupid. Metaphorical though 'cause you
- 1:08:24genuinely have to log in to shit to get going now, like.
- 1:08:28Dead assed Absorb the drip. Me Yeah.
- 1:08:37To appreciate or take in someone's style or coolness get
- 1:08:42aired. Left on red OH.
- 1:08:46That's so gross that you know that.
- 1:08:50I am chronically offline too. What the fuck?
- 1:08:57It's giving linguistic glow up core.
- 1:09:01I don't know, Jen Alpha finally learning how to read I.
- 1:09:04Guess. We have lost Ryan.
- 1:09:07He is completely glossy eyed. I hate done with this bullshit.
- 1:09:12This bit so much it's the worst. A playful, metal way of saying
- 1:09:19that language itself is undergoing a significant and
- 1:09:22stylish transformation, embodying a central theme of
- 1:09:25improvement. Ryan, please take us out of this
- 1:09:28nosedive. I beg of you.
- 1:09:29What? Were you saying was your last
- 1:09:31part there, Justin? Oh my God, the drivers here in
- 1:09:37South Carolina. Oh yeah.
- 1:09:39Dear God, if you're in South Carolina and you're listening,
- 1:09:45go to Florida for like 2 weeks and learn how to drive because
- 1:09:50my God, my good God, I cannot stand these people and I'm sure
- 1:09:55they hate me because I'm I all over.
- 1:09:57The place all. Over the place.
- 1:09:59I'll tell you what. I'll tell you what right now,
- 1:10:02right right now. So we were in Boca for like a
- 1:10:06year and you will get cut off 10 times in one mile.
- 1:10:12But I can tell you what won't happen.
- 1:10:14You will not be late to where you're going.
- 1:10:15You will not be held up in traffic because of that person.
- 1:10:18You'll be held up by the other 30 that don't do that.
- 1:10:21The guy who cuts you off and gives you an inch of space is
- 1:10:25going to get in the turn lane and do 80 miles an hour up to
- 1:10:28the light and then jump back in traffic and he's gone and you
- 1:10:30never have to deal with him again.
- 1:10:31And that happens constantly. So today we're stuck at the
- 1:10:35train tracks and I'm trying to get in the store.
- 1:10:37We're six cars back. They're letting people out of
- 1:10:39the store to turn left away from the train tracks because it's
- 1:10:42it's a freight train. It's taken forever.
- 1:10:44We're out here the the boonies. So I'm like, fuck it.
- 1:10:47I jump in the oncoming lane because nobody can come because
- 1:10:50there's a train, so not worried about it.
- 1:10:53So I jump in the oncoming lane. And then I turned in front of
- 1:10:55these six people into the store and you could just all six of
- 1:10:59them turn their head to just who is this absolute madman on the
- 1:11:04road? That's a piece of shit.
- 1:11:07The other one I go to pull out into the never pull out.
- 1:11:14What was it? Oh my God I saw the video the
- 1:11:17other day. It said.
- 1:11:18My dad told me never to leave a job half done because a job half
- 1:11:24done is a job not done. Don't pull out.
- 1:11:26What the fuck? All right, Awesome.
- 1:11:31Awesome. I'm gonna remember that forever
- 1:11:33for some reason. Anyway, so I pull into the death
- 1:11:37lane, which is 2 lanes coming at you at 55, middle median, big
- 1:11:42enough for two cars side by side.
- 1:11:44And then two lanes go in the opposite direction at 55.
- 1:11:47And I've got to jump out from the wherever I'm at the parking
- 1:11:51garage, go across the first two lanes, get into the middle, and
- 1:11:54then wait to pull out into moving 55 mile an hour traffic.
- 1:11:59So I jump out, get in the middle, put the blinker on, go
- 1:12:02to go over. The guy behind me coming up
- 1:12:04doing 55 has his left blinker on.
- 1:12:07So he's going to get in the lane behind me and I'm going to pull
- 1:12:09out to where he's getting off right?
- 1:12:12Makes sense. No, he turns his blinker off
- 1:12:16right as he gets to me. I'm already merging out because
- 1:12:20he's already on top of me with his left blinker on, moving into
- 1:12:23the lane that I'm in. Nope.
- 1:12:25Decides I'm not going to do that anymore.
- 1:12:26Comes back into the lane, turns his blinker off, jumps into the
- 1:12:29lane to the right, shoots past me at like 20 miles an hour over
- 1:12:33what I'm doing. And then a guy cuts across the
- 1:12:36lanes in front of us the whole way to get into the parking
- 1:12:40garage across the street. So the guy to my right has to
- 1:12:42hit the brakes so he doesn't T-bone this dude.
- 1:12:45And all I'm thinking is all you had to do was stay where you
- 1:12:48were and do nothing. And all of this would have been
- 1:12:51avoided. None of this would have
- 1:12:53happened. But you had to get to the left,
- 1:12:55then get back in the lane, then jump to your right, then speed
- 1:12:58past me, then almost hit that guy.
- 1:13:00Then I'm just like everybody. Everybody in South Carolina
- 1:13:03needs to go to Florida for two weeks and learn how to drive.
- 1:13:06That's all I'm saying. And they hate me because I'm,
- 1:13:08I'm literally like get the fuck out of the like all over the
- 1:13:12place, just moving. I'm not speeding.
- 1:13:15They're doing 20 under when I'm doing 55 to 60 miles an hour on
- 1:13:20these back roads and these my God, Oh my God, they slow down
- 1:13:26to like 5 miles an hour to turn into their driveway.
- 1:13:31They stopped dead in the middle of the road, 1 lane Rd. 2 lane
- 1:13:34Rd. 1 going 1 coming at 55 to 60 miles an hour and they stopped
- 1:13:38dead to turn into their driveway.
- 1:13:41And I'm like, I, I was so far back and somehow I am on top of
- 1:13:45you now and you still haven't turned.
- 1:13:47Oh my God, it happened twice today.
- 1:13:49That's it. That's all I got.
- 1:13:51Fucking a Jesus Christ. Learn how to drive.
- 1:13:55I'm. Going to get so many comments,
- 1:13:58so many flaming comments about that.
- 1:14:00Hope you get flamed. I'm going to return the comment
- 1:14:04with learn how to drive then. Like you're probably the one
- 1:14:07that I'm yelling at. I'm not even.
- 1:14:08That's the thing. I don't even speak.
- 1:14:09I just go, you stupid bastard. Move.
- 1:14:13Like, I don't yell, I don't scream, I don't ride anybody's
- 1:14:16ass, I don't cut anybody off. I'm just way faster than you go
- 1:14:22go. He's a liar.
- 1:14:26Drives me nuts. He's a.
- 1:14:28Liar. Anyway, that was my last one.
- 1:14:31Jesus. Oh my gosh.
- 1:14:34Yeah. Well, hopefully this episode
- 1:14:37provided enough social awkwardness that you were able
- 1:14:44to clear your house out and now your guest bedroom is empty.
- 1:14:50So reject. Reject the system, throw your
- 1:14:54router in the trash. Reject the system, throw your
- 1:14:57router in the trash. Thank you guys.
- 1:14:59We will see you next week. Oh my God, hated it.
- 1:15:03Love you K bye.
