- 0:00Speaker 1: Hello gorgeous it's lala kent welcome to untraditionally lala you
- 0:06Speaker 1: want to intro us no okay hello my loves welcome
- 0:13Speaker 1: back to another episode of an unlikely affair i am
- 0:16Speaker 1: here with my heartbeat hello amber hello my love Are
- 0:22Speaker 1: you sick of me yet? No. Because, you know, when
- 0:24Speaker 1: you lived in Montana, there was the distance. But now
- 0:27Speaker 1: it's like, I'm skipping a jump away. You're not kidding.
- 0:31Speaker 1: We're so close. I love it.
- 0:33Speaker 2: You do?
- 0:34Speaker 1: Yes. I'm so happy. We work out together. We podcast together.
- 0:37Speaker 1: We midday matcha together. We do it all. Love a
- 0:41Speaker 1: good midday match. People have been asking so many questions
- 0:46Speaker 1: about our obsessions, whether it's TV shows, music, skin care.
- 0:51Speaker 1: So I thought that that would be like a cute
- 0:52Speaker 1: little episode for us to do today. What are we watching?
- 1:00Speaker 1: Can I tell you what I'm fascinated by right now? What?
- 1:03Speaker 1: Is every time I talk to you, you've told me
- 1:06Speaker 1: a new reality show that you've started. And I'm like,
- 1:09Speaker 1: who is this person I'm talking to? I know. She's
- 1:12Speaker 1: like talking about the appreciation for how different reality shows
- 1:16Speaker 1: are shot, what storylines are captured. Yeah, it's true.
- 1:20Speaker 2: I'm really obsessed with watching reality. And it's, it takes
- 1:24Speaker 2: a lot for me to find like a good scripted
- 1:27Speaker 2: show and they're out there, but at the end of
- 1:30Speaker 2: the day, and you probably got like, gave me that
- 1:33Speaker 2: little hook because you know, when I was coming out
- 1:35Speaker 2: here to LA, we was like either friends or Seinfeld
- 1:38Speaker 2: at night.
- 1:39Speaker 1: Yeah. And so having that, like that noise in the background.
- 1:42Speaker 2: Is, kind of like it I know it is nice
- 1:45Speaker 2: it is so nice but so yeah I think one
- 1:48Speaker 2: of my obsessions right now is oh.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Fuck me I can't believe I'm even saying this is
- 1:53Speaker 1: reality I know I know who am I who am
- 2:00Speaker 1: I well I because obviously we we can't share what's
- 2:06Speaker 1: to come but I told Amber because of what's to
- 2:10Speaker 1: come you know you you need to you need to
- 2:12Speaker 1: watch a little bit of reality tv just to you
- 2:15Speaker 1: know see get the vibe get the vibe and also
- 2:20Speaker 1: everyone's formula is so different like Hulu shows, reality shows,
- 2:26Speaker 1: they're like newer to the reality game, but it's such
- 2:28Speaker 1: a different vibe than like what Bravo makes. Um, so
- 2:33Speaker 1: can you tell me what your favorite one is that
- 2:35Speaker 1: you've watched or been watching?
- 2:37Speaker 2: Well, so I started with Love Thy Nader and then
- 2:39Speaker 2: you're like, okay, I want you to watch something else.
- 2:42Speaker 1: And I was like, okay, I'm not ready to watch Housewives.
- 2:46Speaker 1: And then can I ask you something? Yes. Why did
- 2:48Speaker 1: you feel like you weren't ready for Housewives? It just
- 2:53Speaker 1: felt like a little too... Toxic. Like dramatic. Like I'm
- 3:01Speaker 1: not ready for that good... Although it's funny. I do love.
- 3:08Speaker 2: Like I'm really interested in watching Salt Lake City because
- 3:11Speaker 2: I've heard it from you and I heard it from
- 3:13Speaker 2: so many other people.
- 3:14Speaker 1: People are obsessed with... With Salt Lake City. I know.
- 3:18Speaker 1: And I feel like it's not, it's weird.
- 3:19Speaker 2: I'm not from Salt Lake, but I feel like the
- 3:23Speaker 2: whole growing up Mormon and that whole environment, I just
- 3:26Speaker 2: feel like Salt Lake City is my kind of.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Real housewives in a way. Yeah.
- 3:32Speaker 2: And I also love Atlanta because the girls there are just,
- 3:36Speaker 2: they're just so, I mean, it's reality.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Well, they're authentic. Yeah. It's, they're not performing.
- 3:43Speaker 2: And that's the kind of reality I want to watch.
- 3:44Speaker 2: I want to watch the reality that it's not a
- 3:46Speaker 2: performative reality show.
- 3:47Speaker 1: It's not like cameras are up. Okay. Let's be like
- 3:49Speaker 1: over the top.
- 3:50Speaker 2: It's real life situations happening and they're just, there's almost
- 3:56Speaker 2: in a way, no self-awareness that makes good television. Oh yeah.
- 4:00Speaker 1: It's brilliant. I will say for everyone raved about Salt
- 4:05Speaker 1: Lake when it first came out. And I was like,
- 4:06Speaker 1: I feel like it's, it's good, but like, they're obviously
- 4:10Speaker 1: very aware that there are cameras around and have obviously
- 4:15Speaker 1: seen housewives before. And maybe they're trying to just like
- 4:20Speaker 1: implement things that they've seen on TV into their own show.
- 4:25Speaker 1: The past— I think they were on season seven. The past, like,
- 4:28Speaker 1: three seasons, they've crushed. And I think it's because Jen
- 4:32Speaker 1: Shaw left. And so— and she was a huge, like, piece
- 4:36Speaker 1: of the drama. And you couldn't rely on that anymore.
- 4:39Speaker 1: So it was like, we all have to be, you know,
- 4:41Speaker 1: we have to be in it. And we have to
- 4:43Speaker 1: share every thought and everything that's going on in our lives.
- 4:47Speaker 1: This last episode that they aired, which was the first
- 4:52Speaker 1: episode of the new season— in my opinion, was the
- 4:58Speaker 1: greatest first episode of reality TV, maybe even the greatest
- 5:04Speaker 1: episode of reality TV, I think, ever made. Wow. Ever made.
- 5:09Speaker 1: That's a huge statement coming from you. Yes. Because you
- 5:11Speaker 1: watch a lot of fucking reality. The women crushed it.
- 5:15Speaker 1: The production team crushed it. It was a flawless episode. Okay. Okay.
- 5:23Speaker 2: So do you think that if I start watching, how
- 5:25Speaker 2: many seasons deep is Salt Lake City?
- 5:28Speaker 1: I think seven. Oh my God. I got so much
- 5:31Speaker 1: to catch up on. I know. I can't believe it's
- 5:33Speaker 1: already been seven years. They announced it the very first BravoCon.
- 5:39Speaker 1: And I remember Andy rolled up on me and he
- 5:41Speaker 1: was like, big news is coming today. You're going to die.
- 5:44Speaker 1: And I was like, you have to tell me. I
- 5:45Speaker 1: can't wait. And he was like, the new season is
- 5:47Speaker 1: going to be Salt Lake. And Katie and I, because Katie's,
- 5:51Speaker 1: she's not from Salt Lake, but she's You know, from Utah.
- 5:53Speaker 1: And we just thought this was, like, the greatest thing ever.
- 5:57Speaker 1: And how many episodes per season? I think the first—
- 6:01Speaker 1: Is it, like, more than 15? I think the baseline
- 6:05Speaker 1: for any Bravo show is around, like, 10 to 15 episodes. Okay.
- 6:09Speaker 1: I think In the City got 10, right? Okay, so
- 6:11Speaker 1: let's talk about In the City. Oh, In the City
- 6:13Speaker 1: is great.
- 6:14Speaker 2: Because I went from Love Thy Nature to— then you said
- 6:16Speaker 2: watch In the City.
- 6:17Speaker 1: And I— love, love. Like I'm like fangirling. It's so good.
- 6:24Speaker 1: All that entire cast. Yeah. They're great. So good. Yeah.
- 6:29Speaker 1: And the way, cause I think for, for you to
- 6:33Speaker 1: like soft launch you in like love thy nadir, I
- 6:37Speaker 1: did not watch. I think I watched like the first
- 6:39Speaker 1: episode and I just think Bravo knows how to make
- 6:42Speaker 1: reality TV shows better than anybody else on the planet.
- 6:45Speaker 1: They like are It's the original, right? Yeah. I think
- 6:48Speaker 1: MTV like started those competition shows and the ones where
- 6:53Speaker 1: they lived in the house together. What was it called again?
- 6:55Speaker 1: Real World. And I watched it. Yes, Real World. But
- 6:58Speaker 1: now they've brought Baskin on to Love Thy Neater, which
- 7:00Speaker 1: I think is a great call. But I'm like, what
- 7:04Speaker 1: will Amber enjoy where it's not super intense, but gives
- 7:10Speaker 1: you a feel for like the shows that Bravo makes?
- 7:13Speaker 1: And when you called me and told me you were
- 7:14Speaker 1: obsessed with In the City, it's so aesthetically pleasing. The
- 7:18Speaker 1: storylines are relatable. I mean, Lindsay Hubs is just like
- 7:21Speaker 1: an OG of making reality TV. She's so good. I
- 7:26Speaker 1: fucking love that you like reality. It's my most favorite
- 7:30Speaker 1: topic is talking about reality TV. Well, just wait.
- 7:32Speaker 2: I'm going to start Real Housewives and you're not going
- 7:34Speaker 2: to be able to shut me up. I'm going to
- 7:35Speaker 2: be calling you every two seconds going, oh my gosh.
- 7:38Speaker 1: Please watch the first episode of the new season of
- 7:40Speaker 1: Salt Lake. Okay. I will. I'm going to do it today.
- 7:44Speaker 1: Was that not like a fantastic episode? Like down to
- 7:48Speaker 1: like the music that they chose and they capture, like
- 7:54Speaker 1: they do this thing with the sky in every episode.
- 7:57Speaker 1: And I really appreciate that because when you go to
- 8:00Speaker 1: Salt Lake, there's something that you can feel where it's like, okay,
- 8:03Speaker 1: this is like, God's town. You know, and then they show, like,
- 8:09Speaker 1: the top of the temple with Moroni, like, doing his horn.
- 8:12Speaker 1: Look at you. I'm into, like, those little details of, like,
- 8:16Speaker 1: things that make a city what they are. Yes. Scripted shows,
- 8:22Speaker 1: you guys know that I've been re-watching Game of Thrones.
- 8:27Speaker 1: I love that for you. Have you watched it? No.
- 8:30Speaker 1: I just watched the one season three where he loses
- 8:34Speaker 1: his hand.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Okay.
- 8:36Speaker 1: Jamie. I get so overwhelmed. They shove his hand off.
- 8:40Speaker 1: His sword hand.
- 8:41Speaker 2: I get so overwhelmed when there's like a hundred seasons
- 8:44Speaker 2: and I'm like, oh, I got to start from season one.
- 8:46Speaker 1: Like, and there's, and then I'm too far behind. That's
- 8:49Speaker 1: so interesting because when I hear there's like seven seasons
- 8:53Speaker 1: of something, I'm like, oh my gosh, I get to
- 8:55Speaker 1: binge it. I don't have to wait. Like Shrinking, I
- 8:57Speaker 1: always watch from the very beginning. Great pilot. Great pilot.
- 9:01Speaker 1: Love that pilot. Love that pilot. So good. I was
- 9:04Speaker 1: hooked from the very beginning. But then you got to
- 9:06Speaker 1: wait for the next season. You got to wait for
- 9:08Speaker 1: the next episode. Like, damn, I really should have started
- 9:11Speaker 1: this later. Yeah. You know? I watched it when I
- 9:16Speaker 1: was in Montana, was The Diplomat. Have you seen that? No,
- 9:20Speaker 1: but you've been raving about this. I love it. It's
- 9:23Speaker 1: so fucking— I don't know if you would like it. YNS
- 9:26Speaker 1: people have been going crazy over it, too. Yes. That
- 9:29Speaker 1: one I should start. I still haven't seen Succession. I
- 9:31Speaker 1: heard Succession's amazing. Succession's bomb. So good. Who has time
- 9:35Speaker 1: to sit down and watch all of these shows? I
- 9:36Speaker 1: watch them at night. I have to. I am so
- 9:39Speaker 1: tired at night. It would actually put me to sleep. See,
- 9:43Speaker 1: that's why I go to Friends, because I don't miss anything. Yeah,
- 9:47Speaker 1: you know exactly what's happening. I know what's happening. Yes.
- 9:50Speaker 1: There's so many shows that I need to watch.
- 9:53Speaker 2: Also, any Taylor Sheridan show, really.
- 9:57Speaker 1: I'm like obsessed with. The Madison. The Madison? What is this?
- 10:03Speaker 2: Because Michelle Pfeiffer is just incredible. The Madison, the one
- 10:07Speaker 2: that takes place in Montana. Well, he has tons of...
- 10:11Speaker 2: So there's Dutton Ranch.
- 10:12Speaker 1: I haven't seen that one. I've heard that one's good, too.
- 10:14Speaker 1: That's the break off of Yellowstone.
- 10:16Speaker 2: And then there's Marshalls is the new one, which I've
- 10:19Speaker 2: been up for... Literally almost booked it three separate times
- 10:22Speaker 2: while I was in Montana. So I definitely feel like
- 10:25Speaker 2: I'm going to at some point either guest star or
- 10:28Speaker 2: end up on one of his shows.
- 10:30Speaker 1: I feel like you would crush one of those shows.
- 10:32Speaker 1: Thank you. Can you please like, yes. Taylor Sheridan, if
- 10:36Speaker 1: you want to listen. Taylor Sheridan. Where you at, buddy? No,
- 10:39Speaker 1: we need you. Book my friend. Yes.
- 10:42Speaker 2: No, I'm obsessed and I know I would crush it.
- 10:44Speaker 1: But the right role will come. You know what? The
- 10:47Speaker 1: universe has a game plan for you. And if you
- 10:50Speaker 1: did not book those roles, it's because they weren't supposed
- 10:52Speaker 1: to be yours. No. And maybe we just tell ourselves
- 10:55Speaker 1: that to make ourselves feel better, but I actually wholeheartedly
- 10:58Speaker 1: believe that. Listen, I've been in this game for a
- 11:00Speaker 1: long time.
- 11:01Speaker 2: I know there's always a plan, but literally every, the
- 11:07Speaker 2: last year, three different times on two different shows, it's
- 11:10Speaker 2: come down to me and another girl, or me and
- 11:13Speaker 2: two other girls. And I'm really good friends with John Papsadera,
- 11:15Speaker 2: the casting director, so it's not like, It's just finding
- 11:19Speaker 2: the right role, right?
- 11:20Speaker 1: That's all it is. And timing. Timing and finding the
- 11:22Speaker 1: right role. Yes. Both of those things.
- 11:25Speaker 2: I'm obsessed with anything that Taylor Sheridan does. He's just
- 11:28Speaker 2: really— and his story's incredible, too, by the way.
- 11:31Speaker 1: You get a chance to listen to, like, how he was—
- 11:33Speaker 1: How he started? Yeah. It's insane. Insane. The next one is,
- 11:38Speaker 1: we know you've been on your fitness grind. You too, bitch.
- 11:41Speaker 1: Spill your favorite ways— To stay active besides working out
- 11:48Speaker 1: with a trainer. Are you joking? Sex. If I don't
- 11:50Speaker 1: have a trainer... Sex is an amazing... You know what?
- 11:55Speaker 1: Sex will teach you if you're working... What you're.
- 11:59Speaker 2: Doing in the gym is actually like helping in other
- 12:03Speaker 2: areas of your life.
- 12:04Speaker 1: Really? Yes. Yes. Because if you're on top... Like, you
- 12:09Speaker 1: either are going to get burned out. Oh, you mean
- 12:11Speaker 1: like strength and stuff? Yes. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah.
- 12:14Speaker 1: It's great. Mm-hmm. Oh. Oh, I love it. It's so good.
- 12:23Speaker 1: It's so good. I'm so. Oh, yes. I'm like, I
- 12:28Speaker 1: can't even take it. I'm like, giddy. About it? Yes.
- 12:31Speaker 1: You know what? All the time? I heard. With the
- 12:34Speaker 1: right person. No, with the right person. Okay. Okay.
- 12:38Speaker 2: I mean, it takes two to tango unless I'm taking
- 12:43Speaker 2: care of myself.
- 12:43Speaker 1: Then that's a different story. Yeah, that doesn't teach much.
- 12:46Speaker 1: Like that doesn't show. Yeah, you don't get much feedback. Jake,
- 12:49Speaker 1: we're doing good. Well, Jake's not my boyfriend, but like
- 12:51Speaker 1: Jake's my trainer. I fucking love Jake. Jake is so
- 12:56Speaker 1: hot and Jake is so on his shit. I mean,
- 13:01Speaker 1: when I hear this man say, let's go, you've got it.
- 13:04Speaker 1: I'm like, okay. Amber's stamina is crazy. Like, the way
- 13:10Speaker 1: she goes from one exercise to the other without even
- 13:14Speaker 1: taking a breath. I finish our round and I'm like,
- 13:17Speaker 1: I'm going to die. I'm fucking going to die. My
- 13:21Speaker 1: heart's going to explode. Well, that's because you vape. Yeah,
- 13:26Speaker 1: as you take a puff. By the way, that's like
- 13:29Speaker 1: a crazy looking vape, by the way. It's like a computer.
- 13:33Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 13:33Speaker 1: And it has this little jelly thing on it to
- 13:35Speaker 1: help with my anxiety. It's like a Hello Kitty vape.
- 13:38Speaker 1: I know, which is not a good thing.
- 13:39Speaker 2: I have to tell you something that I heard London
- 13:42Speaker 2: and Riley on the phone last night talking. And I almost,
- 13:45Speaker 2: I didn't interject because I love that they were connecting.
- 13:48Speaker 2: I forget my babies are growing up. I know, but
- 13:50Speaker 2: you guys, I try to think 12. I was in
- 13:53Speaker 2: the sixth grade. Is Riley in seventh grade?
- 13:54Speaker 1: Seventh. Oh, yeah. Hormones are. I guess I did now.
- 13:58Speaker 1: Hormones are raging. My friends were giving hand jobs in
- 14:01Speaker 1: the seventh grade. Yes.
- 14:02Speaker 2: Yes.
- 14:03Speaker 1: And smoking weed and having like wine coolers.
- 14:05Speaker 2: Yes.
- 14:06Speaker 1: I didn't. No, me neither. I was like a wiener
- 14:09Speaker 1: in my hand. That sounds intimidating. That's disgusting. I'm like, why? Yeah.
- 14:19Speaker 1: I don't even think I had my first kiss until
- 14:20Speaker 1: the eighth grade. Oh, I know my first kiss. It
- 14:24Speaker 1: was on a rooftop and it was raining. Oh, cute. Lance.
- 14:28Speaker 1: My first kiss was with a much older guy. Really? Yeah.
- 14:33Speaker 1: He should have been arrested, probably. Probably. i mean 18
- 14:38Speaker 1: picking up a 14 year old yeah not cool yeah
- 14:41Speaker 1: yeah not cool oh my gosh don't you think that's
- 14:44Speaker 1: a little fucking weird he went to the local high
- 14:48Speaker 1: school and i i don't know maybe at a football
- 14:51Speaker 1: game or something i don't know but not cool little
- 14:56Speaker 1: creepy that was my first kiss Oh, I'm sorry. Don't
- 15:03Speaker 1: be sorry. He was really high. Did he stick his
- 15:05Speaker 1: tongue down your throat? I don't think we ever made out.
- 15:08Speaker 1: It was just a peck. Yeah, I think it was
- 15:10Speaker 1: just a peck. Oh, my God. Where was my mom?
- 15:15Speaker 1: Where's my mom? Right? Lisa, where were you? Eating almonds.
- 15:20Speaker 1: That's what she was doing. Okay, I have a question
- 15:22Speaker 1: for you.
- 15:22Speaker 2: So I'm going to totally go in a different direction.
- 15:25Speaker 1: Wait, hold on. We never answered the question, though. What
- 15:27Speaker 1: do you enjoy? You go hiking and play golf and stuff.
- 15:30Speaker 2: Okay, so my obsession is matcha, golf, pickleball, hiking.
- 15:39Speaker 1: Riley right now is just— she is so delicious.
- 15:43Speaker 2: I love her so much, but you know, she's, it's,
- 15:46Speaker 2: it's hard, but I'm seeing her grow up and like
- 15:48Speaker 2: really change. So I'm obsessed with her obsessed with you, like.
- 15:52Speaker 1: You and you, you, you reality. Okay.
- 15:59Speaker 2: Um, my mattress on the floor still, I'm obsessed with that.
- 16:03Speaker 2: I'm like being on the floor right now. I feel
- 16:05Speaker 2: like I'm camping every night in my room.
- 16:07Speaker 1: So you're in a dorm. Yes. Yes. Fun. Um, What else? Oh, pineapple.
- 16:13Speaker 1: Obsessed with pineapple. Craving pineapple. I'm in my pineapple era.
- 16:17Speaker 1: Can I please share a story? Can I share? Oh
- 16:24Speaker 1: my God. Are you nervous? A little bit. So I,
- 16:30Speaker 1: I have talked about this before where I taste myself
- 16:35Speaker 1: before I have sex. Um, Honestly, I taste myself on
- 16:42Speaker 1: a regular basis just to make sure everything's nice and
- 16:45Speaker 1: right down there, right? So Amber, and I've also hooked
- 16:50Speaker 1: up with women before. Amber has not hooked up with women,
- 16:53Speaker 1: nor has she ever tasted herself. All good. Not a
- 16:56Speaker 1: big deal. But we're driving and she says to me,
- 17:04Speaker 1: That she tasted herself. Wait, this is post-gym workout, by
- 17:07Speaker 1: the way. I'm a filthy motherfucker. But she's like, is
- 17:13Speaker 1: it supposed to taste it? I forgot how she explained it.
- 17:16Speaker 1: But I was like, can't really remember. So I was like,
- 17:20Speaker 1: permission to touch myself. She looks at me. She goes,
- 17:23Speaker 1: do you mind? And I shove my hand down my
- 17:27Speaker 1: pants and I taste it. And I was like, I
- 17:30Speaker 1: don't really taste anything. And she was like, well, did
- 17:34Speaker 1: you put it up there or just swirl? And I
- 17:36Speaker 1: was like, I don't really feel comfortable fully figuring myself
- 17:39Speaker 1: in front of you in the car. So no, I
- 17:43Speaker 1: didn't shove it all the way in, but I'll do
- 17:44Speaker 1: it when I get home and let you know. And
- 17:46Speaker 1: it was such a bonding moment for us. So then
- 17:49Speaker 1: I tell her, you know, pineapple is like the goat,
- 17:52Speaker 1: especially for dudes. Like they got to eat some pineapple.
- 17:55Speaker 1: This bitch tells me, she's like, I did what you
- 17:57Speaker 1: told me and went to Whole Foods, got an entire
- 18:01Speaker 1: pineapple and finished it. She goes, I have acid reflux
- 18:03Speaker 1: right now. My esophagus is burning. I was like, I
- 18:07Speaker 1: don't think you need a whole pineapple in one sitting. Oh, yes,
- 18:10Speaker 1: I did. Jesus Christ. It was amazing. My stomach would
- 18:14Speaker 1: be on fire. I'd have cankers. Yes. Oh, that's funny.
- 18:17Speaker 1: My mouth kind of felt funny afterwards. Totally. It's so acidic.
- 18:21Speaker 1: I can't give Sosa pineapple or her bum hole will burn. Oh. Yeah,
- 18:26Speaker 1: she can only have like a couple pieces. Okay, well,
- 18:30Speaker 1: now I'm addicted to pineapple. Well, by the way, I
- 18:33Speaker 1: have jugs upon jugs of that celery pineapple juice. Oh.
- 18:39Speaker 1: From Sosa's birthday party. That was so good. Well, my
- 18:42Speaker 1: cookie's about to be tasting like fucking Fiji, motherfucker. Like,
- 18:46Speaker 1: I'm ready to serve it to whoever wants a taste.
- 18:49Speaker 1: You know? Let's go. It was celery and pineapple, by
- 18:52Speaker 1: the way. Yes, celery and pineapple. That was so good.
- 18:55Speaker 2: Yeah, it was so good. Well, thank you for sharing
- 18:58Speaker 2: that very intimate story.
- 18:59Speaker 1: You're welcome. I love you. I probably should have saved
- 19:03Speaker 1: it for the sex podcast, but whatever. It didn't get
- 19:07Speaker 1: much juicier than that. Um, why did I share that? Because,
- 19:13Speaker 1: because we were talking about pineapple. That's right. Thank you.
- 19:16Speaker 1: Thank you. It felt a little, it felt a little random. Okay. Like, okay.
- 19:21Speaker 1: Start spitting out things you're obsessed with just off the
- 19:23Speaker 1: top of your head. Um, friends, Seinfeld, this lip mask
- 19:27Speaker 1: that I got, um, another lip mask by Laka. I'll
- 19:30Speaker 1: share both of these. Um, I'm obsessed with retin-A right now.
- 19:34Speaker 1: I'm obsessed with street tacos right now. I can't get enough.
- 19:38Speaker 1: I'm obsessed with my children. Obviously, I'm obsessed with working
- 19:42Speaker 1: out at HQ with Jake. And I'm obsessed with the
- 19:46Speaker 1: fact that Bravo has finally, like... given us so many
- 19:51Speaker 1: fucking shows. I don't even know what to do with myself.
- 19:55Speaker 1: All of those things I'm obsessed with. Great. Yeah. Okay,
- 20:09Speaker 1: people say fall is here, which is so weird. No,
- 20:12Speaker 1: it's not fall. It's too hot. Yeah, it's too hot.
- 20:14Speaker 2: But, like, if you go in the stores, there's, like,
- 20:16Speaker 2: people are selling pumpkins and Halloween candy and whatever.
- 20:20Speaker 1: So, do you change.
- 20:23Speaker 2: Your wardrobe based on the season? Do you think, like, oh,
- 20:25Speaker 2: my God, it's fall now, so now I'm going to go, like,
- 20:27Speaker 2: buy some... Or do you just stick to what you
- 20:30Speaker 2: have in your closet?
- 20:30Speaker 1: No, I feel like in Utah I would do that because...
- 20:33Speaker 1: When it's fall, it feels like fall. I quite literally
- 20:35Speaker 1: have to change my wardrobe. But like in LA, it's
- 20:38Speaker 1: like Groundhog's Day. I know. And one day I could
- 20:41Speaker 1: be sitting here in the 60s. Last week, I went
- 20:44Speaker 1: to celebrate my birthday at this with Nick and Joe.
- 20:49Speaker 1: We go to this place called Castaway. It's in Burbank,
- 20:53Speaker 1: up on a hill. It was so fucking hot all
- 20:56Speaker 1: day long. You get up there, it's like 60 degrees.
- 21:00Speaker 1: It was freezing. Oh. Freezing. Nick's over there in a
- 21:04Speaker 1: tank top. He's like, Joe wanted me to wear a
- 21:06Speaker 1: tank top. I'm like, did he tell you to bring
- 21:09Speaker 1: a jacket? Like, you don't know. So I just keep
- 21:13Speaker 1: all of my shit in the same closet and... I
- 21:17Speaker 1: dress just according to the weather. Would I like to
- 21:19Speaker 1: bring out my jackets? Yes. I would like to drink
- 21:23Speaker 1: a hot coffee on a chilly day. I want to
- 21:26Speaker 1: buy a giant scarf from Naked Wardrobe and just sit
- 21:31Speaker 1: in a pile of fabric without sweating.
- 21:36Speaker 2: I want to sit in like a pile of leaves
- 21:39Speaker 2: with some apple cider vinegar.
- 21:42Speaker 1: Wait, what is it called? Apple cider. My brain. I
- 21:43Speaker 1: took two Advil PMs last night. You know where my
- 21:44Speaker 1: mind went? Skin. I was like, yeah, me too. That's
- 22:02Speaker 1: really great for the skin. I'm obsessed with skin right now.
- 22:05Speaker 1: I can't get enough. Your skin looks fabulous. Well, it
- 22:09Speaker 1: should because it is raw and itchy. It does look
- 22:12Speaker 1: a little raw. No, I'm kidding. It's so raw. No,
- 22:15Speaker 1: it does not. It's quite literal. It's like a raw
- 22:18Speaker 1: piece of chicken right now. It hurts. Just, no, slather
- 22:22Speaker 1: Aquaphor all over your face. That's what I've been doing, babe.
- 22:25Speaker 1: Aquaphor and Tubby Todd. Tubby Todd is for diaper rash,
- 22:28Speaker 1: which is literally raw skin. I'm like, this is going
- 22:30Speaker 1: to be great for my raw skin. Apple cider vinegar
- 22:35Speaker 1: mixed with the Aztec mask. You should do that and
- 22:38Speaker 1: sit in a pile of leaves. Sounds lit. Do you
- 22:43Speaker 1: decorate your homes for the season? How do you make
- 22:45Speaker 1: your space feel extra cozy for the fall? Just a
- 22:48Speaker 1: nice candle. Just give me a good... That's it? That's it.
- 22:51Speaker 1: That's it. Happy Halloween. Apple spice candle. Merry Christmas pine
- 22:57Speaker 1: needle candle. Whatever the fuck it is. Cinnamon candle. No,
- 23:03Speaker 1: I'm not like a big... You know, when the kids
- 23:05Speaker 1: were little, I used to decorate like crazy. But now
- 23:09Speaker 1: that they're older, I'm not great. You know who's great
- 23:15Speaker 1: is my mom. My mom.
- 23:16Speaker 2: decorates for every freaking month of the year. And like
- 23:21Speaker 2: does like a whole thing in her house in Montana.
- 23:23Speaker 1: It is so... Or Nebraska. It's so cute. That's like
- 23:27Speaker 1: such a mom thing. I feel like my mom, every
- 23:31Speaker 1: single holiday, it felt like the holiday threw up in
- 23:33Speaker 1: my house. Yes. That's how my mom is. I know.
- 23:36Speaker 1: I'm like, can you get it together and do it here? Yeah. Like,
- 23:41Speaker 1: where's my table, entry table full of Santa Claus? Here's
- 23:44Speaker 1: the thing. I will.
- 23:46Speaker 2: I like decorating, but when it's over and putting it away,
- 23:51Speaker 2: it also just reminds me that time is passing.
- 23:53Speaker 1: Amber, don't do that to me. Don't do that to me.
- 23:59Speaker 1: Get time out of the equation. I will be on
- 24:02Speaker 1: the floor sobbing. I know, but it's true. It's like
- 24:05Speaker 1: I am anticipating.
- 24:07Speaker 2: So from October to December, the months obviously go by
- 24:10Speaker 2: so fast. I'm thinking like, I just want to be
- 24:13Speaker 2: in the present moment. I just need to live. I
- 24:15Speaker 2: need to put my phone down and I need to
- 24:17Speaker 2: be here.
- 24:18Speaker 1: That's it. That's my goal for the next, the last
- 24:21Speaker 1: quarter of 2026. I feel the same way. But can
- 24:25Speaker 1: I tell you, I want to do it for my kids.
- 24:29Speaker 1: Like I want to make sure that during Halloween, it's like,
- 24:32Speaker 1: oh my gosh, there's ghosts and goblins all over this house.
- 24:35Speaker 1: Like I want Ocean to come home and be like
- 24:39Speaker 1: her mind blown. See, here's the thing. Halloween's not— I don't
- 24:42Speaker 1: love Halloween.
- 24:44Speaker 2: Like, I love Christmas. I'll decorate for Christmas. Not a
- 24:47Speaker 2: huge Thanksgiving fan.
- 24:48Speaker 1: I'm not a Grinch. But I love Christmas and New Year's.
- 24:53Speaker 1: What about Thanksgiving do you not like? It's like the
- 24:57Speaker 1: Christmas Eve of the holiday season. That is true. I'll
- 25:01Speaker 1: have to tell you.
- 25:01Speaker 2: I think what it is for me is everyone else
- 25:07Speaker 2: has their families. And the idea of having a mom
- 25:13Speaker 2: and a dad and cousins over, I don't have that.
- 25:16Speaker 1: I get that.
- 25:17Speaker 2: And it just makes me really sad. It's like I'm
- 25:20Speaker 2: reminded of what I wanted and what I don't have
- 25:24Speaker 2: right now.
- 25:25Speaker 1: Doesn't mean I'm not going to have it in the future, right? Right.
- 25:27Speaker 2: But it just makes me feel a little sad. And
- 25:30Speaker 2: I think people who are single moms or live really
- 25:34Speaker 2: far from their family or whatever their case is, there's
- 25:38Speaker 2: just something that is it's just saddening to me yeah
- 25:44Speaker 2: and also I love Mexican food I don't love Thanksgiving
- 25:47Speaker 2: food like I don't love turkey I don't love like
- 25:49Speaker 2: I don't love that stuff.
- 25:50Speaker 1: I do understand because I think when you think about
- 25:57Speaker 1: these families who are they they just decided to grow
- 26:03Speaker 1: up stay where they you know, lived and grew up in.
- 26:06Speaker 1: And then it's easy to get together with your family
- 26:08Speaker 1: because you, you do, it's like copy and paste. Right.
- 26:12Speaker 1: Every generation. Exactly. You and I decided at a very
- 26:16Speaker 1: young age, you very, very young to move and chase
- 26:20Speaker 1: a dream. So we were always going to be far
- 26:23Speaker 1: away from our families. And then you add into the mix,
- 26:26Speaker 1: you know, the cookie cutter life that you thought you
- 26:28Speaker 1: would have in LA with a husband and your children
- 26:31Speaker 1: under one roof. And like, maybe all of you travel
- 26:34Speaker 1: to where you're Parents are, it just, it shattered. And
- 26:38Speaker 1: I understand that. I'm grateful that I have my mom
- 26:42Speaker 1: and my brother, but I hope you know that like,
- 26:46Speaker 1: I know we're not your blood family, but for Thanksgiving,
- 26:50Speaker 1: I already told you, like, let's make the plan. Let's,
- 26:53Speaker 1: let's jump in the car. Let's go celebrate in Palm Springs.
- 26:56Speaker 1: You have a place to stay. You have a bed,
- 26:58Speaker 1: you have a bathroom. You've got, you know, us to,
- 27:02Speaker 1: to love on you. If you can't make it back
- 27:04Speaker 1: to your family. I do understand like nothing's going to
- 27:08Speaker 1: make that better. No, no, no. You watch those movies
- 27:12Speaker 1: and I crave that where I'm like all the cousins and.
- 27:15Speaker 1: Oh my God, like Home.
- 27:16Speaker 2: Alone when they're rushing out on Christmas Eve to go
- 27:18Speaker 2: on the trip. I was like, yes, that is the
- 27:21Speaker 2: chaos that I've always wanted.
- 27:23Speaker 1: I want to be so chaotic that I forget a
- 27:25Speaker 1: child at home. What the fuck? That's all I want.
- 27:29Speaker 1: You're like, oh shit, Ocean, where is she? You know,
- 27:31Speaker 1: Ocean would be like, mom. She would be calling herself
- 27:34Speaker 1: an Uber. LAX. She's not missing that vacation. Are we
- 27:39Speaker 1: spending Thanksgiving together? Yeah, I think we are. Yeah. I
- 27:42Speaker 1: think we are. I will confirm this week. But yes,
- 27:45Speaker 1: I will bring some sort of Mexican dish that kind
- 27:48Speaker 1: of has turkey and gravy in it. A turkey taco.
- 27:53Speaker 1: Turkey tacos. I love that. I love it too.
- 27:56Speaker 2: Last time I made a turkey, by the way, I
- 27:57Speaker 2: accidentally left all the intestines inside in the bag and
- 28:01Speaker 2: cooked it. So I don't think I should be on
- 28:03Speaker 2: turkey duty. Unless I try to.
- 28:06Speaker 1: Wait, you have to remove it on your own? Yes.
- 28:10Speaker 1: You have to go in there and get like. Even
- 28:12Speaker 1: in a butterball turkey? I don't even know what that is.
- 28:16Speaker 1: Like the mass turkey company, I think. Yeah, I think
- 28:19Speaker 1: you have to remove the bag of... The gizzard.
- 28:24Speaker 2: Then I think of some little turkey that was roaming around, like,
- 28:27Speaker 2: just living its best life on the land, and then
- 28:30Speaker 2: someone killed it and then plucked the... I just don't...
- 28:33Speaker 2: I'll eat it, but I don't want to do the
- 28:35Speaker 2: preparation from, like, raw.
- 28:37Speaker 1: You should not be the spokesperson for Thanksgiving. That is
- 28:39Speaker 1: for sure. I'm impulsed. Would you do it? No, I've
- 28:44Speaker 1: never done that before. Yeah, it's disgusting. That's why I'm like,
- 28:47Speaker 1: are you sure? That's it. Let's just go to Taco
- 28:49Speaker 1: Bell for Thanksgiving. Taco Bell it is. Much better. Yeah.
- 28:55Speaker 1: What song do you have on repeat right now? Oh, jeez. Oh. Oh.
- 29:00Speaker 1: I mean, I know what you have. Hey, Janice, shut
- 29:03Speaker 1: the fuck up. Yep, Drake. That's what I have on repeat.
- 29:06Speaker 1: A little Drake. You know what I love? You and
- 29:08Speaker 1: Riley are really bonding over Drake right now. Riley and
- 29:11Speaker 1: I are bonding over quite a lot these days. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah.
- 29:16Speaker 1: You guys, Riley and I were talking, and I showed
- 29:18Speaker 1: her a picture of this man who is going to
- 29:22Speaker 1: be my husband one day. And she goes, oh, damn.
- 29:27Speaker 1: And Ocean peeks over, and she goes, Oh, wow, mom. Oh, wow, mom.
- 29:33Speaker 1: That's what Osher says to me. Yeah. We had just
- 29:36Speaker 1: picked him up from the bus stop. It is unbelievable.
- 29:41Speaker 1: I was like, wow, all right. I really think Riley
- 29:43Speaker 1: is your child, and so says mine. Oh, my little
- 29:48Speaker 1: Spanish-speaking baby. Yeah. You guys at the birthday party, everyone
- 29:52Speaker 1: was telling me that when Cynthia, the angel who who
- 30:00Speaker 1: takes care of Sosa when I am working, they have
- 30:03Speaker 1: a play date with Cynthia's sister and the little boy
- 30:07Speaker 1: she nannies. And the little boy came to the birthday
- 30:11Speaker 1: with his parents. And his parents said that Sosa and
- 30:15Speaker 1: their son sit there and speak to each other in
- 30:18Speaker 1: Spanish at the play date. Yeah. How cute is that?
- 30:22Speaker 1: Is that not the cutest thing ever? See, that makes
- 30:23Speaker 1: me want to have another baby. It's really, really cute.
- 30:27Speaker 1: And then... One of the party planners came up to
- 30:30Speaker 1: me and was like, I just want to say, I
- 30:33Speaker 1: am so excited to be doing this birthday party because
- 30:36Speaker 1: my family lives in Mexico. And they obviously watch Miss Issa.
- 30:44Speaker 1: And she was like, I called them telling them that
- 30:46Speaker 1: I'm doing a Miss Issa birthday party here. My daughter
- 30:49Speaker 1: is obsessed. And for those of you who don't know
- 30:50Speaker 1: who Miss Issa is, she is... Like Miss Rachel, but
- 30:55Speaker 1: Spanish speaking. Okay, we love Miss Issa. She is our go-to.
- 30:59Speaker 1: She goes, hola, baby. And Sosa goes, Issa! Mama! Oh,
- 31:06Speaker 1: and every time she sees flags, I was wearing a
- 31:09Speaker 1: sweatshirt the other day that has all of the flags.
- 31:12Speaker 1: It's like from some old school Olympic games, right? The
- 31:20Speaker 1: Mexican flag is right here. So somebody comes to me
- 31:24Speaker 1: and goes, Mexico, mama, Mexico, Mexico, mama, Mexico. I'm like,
- 31:29Speaker 1: what the fuck? I can't wait to take her to Mexico. Oh,
- 31:33Speaker 1: I can't either. I want to go to, please don't,
- 31:35Speaker 1: I want to be there. She is going to thrive.
- 31:37Speaker 1: She is going to thrive. She is going to be
- 31:40Speaker 1: a little. My little, I'm obsessed. Yeah, she's so cute.
- 31:44Speaker 1: It's so good, you guys. We had to take her
- 31:46Speaker 1: to Mexico City. Oh, yeah. You should have seen her
- 31:48Speaker 1: with Cynthia and the family yesterday because Cynthia's family came.
- 31:52Speaker 1: They were dancing with Sosa and Sosa was Knowing all
- 31:56Speaker 1: the words to a Spanish-speaking song. I'm like, I got
- 32:00Speaker 1: to step my game up. I need to be able
- 32:01Speaker 1: to talk to this person that is my child. This
- 32:05Speaker 1: little human that I created. That is actually really funny.
- 32:09Speaker 1: That is hysterical. Aw, she's so cute. Have you seen
- 32:12Speaker 1: that Kevin Hart bit where he's talking about his daughter
- 32:15Speaker 1: when she's super young? He's like, I know what she's saying.
- 32:18Speaker 1: you stupid bitch like and I feel like Sosa's looking
- 32:21Speaker 1: at me being like you dumb hoe mass milk.
- 32:25Speaker 2: Bitch oh wait what is that little character um the
- 32:30Speaker 2: the little baby that talks like that it's a cartoon.
- 32:33Speaker 1: The little baby Stewie Stewie fucking Stewie family guy yes
- 32:37Speaker 1: thank you wow Stewie yes that reminds me he's like
- 32:41Speaker 1: walking up and he's like The fat man. And he's
- 32:44Speaker 1: like talking about his dad. Yeah. Fat man's so fucking stupid.
- 32:47Speaker 1: By the way, I could watch that and fall asleep. Oh. Actually,
- 32:51Speaker 1: I think I'm going to start that too. It's a
- 32:52Speaker 1: damn shame that you don't get high anymore. Neither do I.
- 32:55Speaker 1: But Family Guy, stoned out of your mind, is the
- 32:58Speaker 1: greatest experience ever. On like weed or mushrooms? Weed. Oh.
- 33:04Speaker 1: No mushrooms, you got to be outside on the land. Yeah,
- 33:06Speaker 1: I know. By feeling the earth breathe into you. See,
- 33:09Speaker 1: that's my vibe. That is so my vibe. Yeah, where
- 33:11Speaker 1: you're like holding the dirt and it's like pulsating and
- 33:14Speaker 1: you're like, oh my God. No, it takes you to
- 33:17Speaker 1: another dimension. But it's still, you're still in control. What
- 33:21Speaker 1: is the point of this episode? I love it. I
- 33:25Speaker 1: love it. It's a, yeah, smorgasbord. We call this, that
- 33:31Speaker 1: should be the name of it. What's one little luxury
- 33:45Speaker 1: or indulgence you're obsessed with lately? Something totally unnecessary that
- 33:49Speaker 1: makes you happy. Something unnecessary that makes me happy? I
- 33:52Speaker 1: feel like everything is necessary. Everything is necessary. But I
- 33:56Speaker 1: have to tell you guys, there's this perfume that I've
- 33:59Speaker 1: become obsessed with. completely obsessed with when i was dealing
- 34:03Speaker 1: with this perfume i know i gotta look it up
- 34:06Speaker 1: real quick x nihilo i think is what it's called
- 34:10Speaker 1: it is the greatest thing you'll ever smell in your
- 34:14Speaker 1: fucking life i think this is the one i have.
- 34:19Speaker 2: Oh you know what while you're looking at that yeah
- 34:21Speaker 2: my new eyebrow pencil i would say i'm oh that's
- 34:24Speaker 2: a great one the one that i showed you this
- 34:25Speaker 2: morning that's not.
- 34:26Speaker 1: Really breaking the bank though is it No. Oh, it's
- 34:29Speaker 1: supposed to be breaking the bank? I don't think it
- 34:31Speaker 1: has to. I mean, I just, I don't feel like
- 34:34Speaker 1: there's unnecessary things that I spend money on. Like the
- 34:37Speaker 1: other day I spent 400 on a facial. Yeah. I
- 34:42Speaker 1: don't feel like that's unnecessary though. And I haven't had
- 34:44Speaker 1: a facial in like a couple years. Well, if you
- 34:47Speaker 1: break that down per month, that actually makes sense. That's
- 34:49Speaker 1: what I do now. If I'm buying something that's really big,
- 34:51Speaker 1: I'm like, okay, over the next 12 months, this is
- 34:53Speaker 1: what it would be. This is what it would cost
- 34:55Speaker 1: me each month. Well, then I start having a panic attack. Oh, really?
- 35:00Speaker 1: Like when it starts being a monthly thing. Yeah, I
- 35:02Speaker 1: feel like $ 400 every month on a facial is unnecessary.
- 35:06Speaker 2: I just went to Target yesterday and I spent $ 375
- 35:09Speaker 2: and I'm like, I don't even know what I bought.
- 35:12Speaker 1: I don't even know what I bought. Target's crazy. The
- 35:17Speaker 1: Ex Nihilo. The greatest perfume ever. Really? And it's around $ 500,
- 35:23Speaker 1: but it is... I went in there during like massive heartbreak.
- 35:28Speaker 1: You know who I'm talking about. And I was like, this,
- 35:32Speaker 1: the smell in here is incredible. And the woman sprayed
- 35:34Speaker 1: it on me and she said, I was like, I
- 35:38Speaker 1: love it. I want it. And she goes, this is
- 35:39Speaker 1: what I think you should do. And it's not like
- 35:41Speaker 1: I was sitting here like back and forth. I just said,
- 35:43Speaker 1: I love it. I want it because I was like
- 35:44Speaker 1: just sad and I needed to fill the hole, which is,
- 35:47Speaker 1: you know, buying something. Um, She was like, wear it
- 35:51Speaker 1: for the day. If you can't stop thinking about it,
- 35:54Speaker 1: that's when you know that it's a perfume you have
- 35:56Speaker 1: to have. Oh, I love that trick. Yes. And I
- 35:58Speaker 1: was like, this woman's like the greatest salesman ever. And
- 36:01Speaker 1: in that moment, I was like connected to her. I
- 36:05Speaker 1: felt like she saw me being heartbroken and didn't want
- 36:08Speaker 1: me to be impulsive. Because do you ever buy a
- 36:10Speaker 1: perfume and you love it in the moment? And then
- 36:12Speaker 1: after a while, you're like, I fucking hate this smell.
- 36:14Speaker 1: And I'm just wearing it to get rid of it. Oh, see,
- 36:16Speaker 1: I don't do, I'm not a big perfume. I don't
- 36:18Speaker 1: buy a lot of perfume. I love a good perfume.
- 36:21Speaker 1: There are two scents that I'm obsessed with. This is
- 36:24Speaker 1: one of them. And then Purette, which is an oil
- 36:26Speaker 1: that is to die for. But in that moment, too,
- 36:30Speaker 1: I told her, I'm like, there's a really hot guy
- 36:31Speaker 1: that works here. Here's my phone number. Have him text
- 36:35Speaker 1: me or call me. And here's my Instagram so we can, like,
- 36:37Speaker 1: make sure he's not— And now, that is Mallman. I
- 36:40Speaker 1: love Mallman. And we went to the mall, and we
- 36:42Speaker 1: were stalking him the other day. I'm kidding. Remember, we're
- 36:45Speaker 1: sitting out eating Wetzel pretzel on the couch? Yes! Yes!
- 36:49Speaker 1: I do. You're like, look to see if he's working.
- 36:51Speaker 1: Because I wanted to see what mall man looked like.
- 36:52Speaker 1: Mall man is fucking hot. Okay. I mean, he is
- 36:56Speaker 1: a real snack. A what? A real snack. He's a
- 37:01Speaker 1: whole snack. Oh, a snack. A snack. Anyway, there's my
- 37:03Speaker 1: unnecessary obsession. $ 500 perfume. But it lasts forever. And with
- 37:09Speaker 1: the $ 500 bottle, you also get... Oh, a travel size thing.
- 37:14Speaker 1: A travel size. That's right. And by the way, I
- 37:16Speaker 1: love that.
- 37:17Speaker 2: I only have one perfume that I wear, and I
- 37:19Speaker 2: usually only wear it when I'm like going on date
- 37:22Speaker 2: night or something.
- 37:23Speaker 1: I'm not a huge perfume fan. They say it's not
- 37:25Speaker 1: good to put on your skin. Oh, God. Well, it's true.
- 37:29Speaker 1: That's why you don't wear it all the time. That's
- 37:30Speaker 1: why I don't like deodorant. Like, my hand is fucking hot. Wait,
- 37:33Speaker 1: let me see. I don't know about that. He's, he's, he's.
- 37:41Speaker 1: He is so cute. We'll ask Riley. Riley's going to
- 37:45Speaker 1: be obsessed with them. I'll tell you that much. Don't
- 37:48Speaker 1: you come from all man, bitch. Is there something TikTok
- 37:52Speaker 1: or Instagram influenced you to buy that surprisingly lived up
- 37:55Speaker 1: to the hype?
- 37:56Speaker 2: Oh, I got this new golf outfit and tennis outfit
- 38:00Speaker 2: from a TikTok shop.
- 38:02Speaker 1: And you love it? <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL>.
- 38:10Speaker 2: Yes, I actually love it and the quality is great
- 38:12Speaker 2: and it's good for tennis or pickleball or golf.
- 38:14Speaker 1: Is it like a skirt? Yes, it's the blue. Oh,
- 38:16Speaker 1: that's cute. It's blue. Oh, you wore it and posted. Yes.
- 38:19Speaker 1: You should have done a link. I'm obsessed. I'll do
- 38:21Speaker 1: a link. Do a link. I'm obsessed and they have really,
- 38:24Speaker 1: really cute colors. So. These are the ones that I...
- 38:28Speaker 1: So the Laka, L-A-K-A, it's a soothing prep lip mask.
- 38:33Speaker 1: It's amazing. You put it on, leave it there for
- 38:35Speaker 1: a minute, and then you just roll it off. And
- 38:38Speaker 1: then I pair it with... Tocobo. T-O-C-O-B-O. Is this Korean skincare? Absolutely. No,
- 38:45Speaker 1: this is the lip one you bought the other day
- 38:47Speaker 1: when we were at the mall. Oh, my God. You're
- 38:50Speaker 1: still obsessed with it? Oh, my God. I can't get enough. Okay.
- 38:52Speaker 1: I had to buy it. I'm on my second jar. Really? Yes.
- 38:55Speaker 1: It's like between that and my Retin-A, it's a real problem. Yeah.
- 39:02Speaker 1: I told myself I'm going to do one more round
- 39:06Speaker 1: of Retin-A, which means just like one night before— We
- 39:10Speaker 1: start something. Three nights later, I've done it. And I'm like,
- 39:15Speaker 1: I'm going to be a peely mess by the time
- 39:17Speaker 1: we start. You're obsessed. Does it look okay, though? My
- 39:22Speaker 1: skin feels really nice. It looks fabulous. Okay, good. Your
- 39:26Speaker 1: skin looks great. You know what I love that you
- 39:28Speaker 1: introduced me to is that lampshade. skin. Face polish. The
- 39:34Speaker 1: face polish. That is amazing.
- 39:38Speaker 2: So I just started out on Amazon. I found like
- 39:40Speaker 2: the three little tubes. I didn't buy the big tube.
- 39:43Speaker 1: And it's good for traveling. As well. I'm obsessed with that.
- 39:47Speaker 1: When it comes with the face wash, the scrub. Yes,
- 39:49Speaker 1: and the face oil. Oh. So when I use it, I, and.
- 39:52Speaker 2: I don't love harsh things on my skin because it will,
- 39:55Speaker 2: you know, my skin's so fair, but it.
- 39:57Speaker 1: Makes my skin feel good. I can't even tell you.
- 40:01Speaker 1: It's amazing. I'm addicted to that. I would, I would
- 40:03Speaker 1: do it.
- 40:03Speaker 2: I'm like, you have to slow down cause you're going
- 40:05Speaker 2: to make your face raw, but it's dude on my hands.
- 40:08Speaker 1: Cause it's just.
- 40:09Speaker 2: Coarse enough where like you actually feel like it's working.
- 40:12Speaker 2: I don't like those face scrubs that are like, there's
- 40:14Speaker 2: nothing in there.
- 40:15Speaker 1: Nothing there. It's like basically an oil with little tiny beads.
- 40:19Speaker 1: I'm like, this is not exfoliating. That Lancer brand is fantastic.
- 40:23Speaker 1: Did you use St. Ives apricot scrub when you were younger? Yes.
- 40:28Speaker 1: But when I was younger, I stopped using it maybe
- 40:30Speaker 1: like five years ago. You stopped using it the moment
- 40:35Speaker 1: you found Lancer? Yes. But I'm telling you, that shit,
- 40:38Speaker 1: I loved that stuff. Yes. Yes. But the Lancer is
- 40:41Speaker 1: like very fine. So it doesn't, I felt like St. Ives,
- 40:46Speaker 1: even though it was amazing, it was like before its time, right? Yeah.
- 40:49Speaker 1: Where I think the things were a little rigid. Yeah.
- 40:52Speaker 1: A little too, like, razor sharp. A little bit. Like,
- 40:54Speaker 1: little razors. Slices. Does my face look good as you have, like,
- 40:59Speaker 1: cat marks all over your face? Yes. Lancer is, like, actual, like,
- 41:06Speaker 1: very tiny. It feels like a polish. Yeah. It's like grains,
- 41:08Speaker 1: but with polish in it. That's why it's called a
- 41:10Speaker 1: skin polish. Ah, bingo. There we go. Oh, we know
- 41:17Speaker 1: you're both obsessed with each other. What's your favorite thing
- 41:19Speaker 1: about one another? This is a cute one to end
- 41:22Speaker 1: it on. Did I make sense just now?
- 41:25Speaker 2: Yes.
- 41:25Speaker 1: This is a cute one to end it on. Yeah,
- 41:29Speaker 1: that makes sense.
- 41:30Speaker 2: Your English is muy bueno. This hit me yesterday in
- 41:38Speaker 2: the kitchen. I don't know what I said, but it
- 41:42Speaker 2: was something to do.
- 41:44Speaker 1: Oh, when I was talking about the.
- 41:47Speaker 2: It wasn't an issue, just something that had been brought
- 41:49Speaker 2: up with someone that I'm dating. And you were like, yes,
- 41:53Speaker 2: I get it. And sometimes I have these moments with
- 41:55Speaker 2: you where no one else understands our emotions. But when
- 42:02Speaker 2: I see you and I clock you, it's like you're
- 42:05Speaker 2: in my body and you know that exact same experience.
- 42:09Speaker 1: Right. It's very odd. And I've never really found.
- 42:12Speaker 2: a girlfriend or a friendship or anyone that has that
- 42:17Speaker 2: like interconnectedness.
- 42:18Speaker 1: Before, if that makes sense. It makes total sense because
- 42:21Speaker 1: I feel that exact same way where like, I feel
- 42:25Speaker 1: like you know me better than anybody, which is very
- 42:29Speaker 1: strange because I have friendships that I've had since the
- 42:31Speaker 1: time I was like a tiny little tot, right? But
- 42:34Speaker 1: just the life experiences and what we both came to
- 42:38Speaker 1: LA to do and the situations we found ourselves in,
- 42:42Speaker 1: And the largest part of, you know, having babies and
- 42:47Speaker 1: trying to figure out who we are after something goes south. Like,
- 42:51Speaker 1: we're just in sync on a cosmic level. Yeah, I
- 42:55Speaker 1: feel like we're fraternal twins or something. Yeah. Fraternal? Identical. Oh,
- 43:01Speaker 1: we're identical. Yeah. I'm like, I feel more in sync
- 43:07Speaker 1: with you than fraternal. Identical twins. We're identical twins. And
- 43:13Speaker 1: I love you so much. Can I tell you what
- 43:16Speaker 1: I appreciate so much about you is I can be...
- 43:19Speaker 1: I can be exactly who I am without buffering anything.
- 43:26Speaker 1: Tell you exactly how I'm feeling. I can, when you're talking, say,
- 43:29Speaker 1: this is how I feel about what you're saying. And
- 43:31Speaker 1: you do not get offended. And I don't know if
- 43:34Speaker 1: that's because... You know my intentions with you are like
- 43:38Speaker 1: always very pure. Or if you're just a tough bitch.
- 43:42Speaker 1: But I just feel like we can totally call each
- 43:45Speaker 1: other out on things and nothing goes unsaid. And we're...
- 43:49Speaker 1: Not we. I can taste myself in front of you
- 43:52Speaker 1: in the car and feel no judgment and have you
- 43:54Speaker 1: laugh about it. Like, do you really? I would never
- 43:58Speaker 1: do that in front of anybody. Really? No! I adore
- 44:02Speaker 1: everything about you. Thank you. I feel the same way.
- 44:04Speaker 1: Everything about you is my most favorite thing. Aw, I
- 44:06Speaker 1: love you. That's so sweet. You're so welcome. I love you.
- 44:09Speaker 1: You guys, thank you for listening to a very chaotic, random,
- 44:13Speaker 1: and super fun episode of An Unlikely Affair. We're going
- 44:16Speaker 1: to catch you guys next week. Love you. Bye. Bye. Bye.
- 44:23Speaker 1: Thank you.
