Mitch Gruber is a Rochester City Council Member at Large & Foodlink’s Vice President and Chief Impact Officer. He also teaches a Local Government class at the U of R in the Spring. Mitch and his family live in the Corn Hill neighborhood.
Social Justice is a driving force in his life. After teaching for Headstart, he realized that teaching small children was not a calling for him but finding a way to address some of the inefficiencies, like the wasting of food in the program every day, was certainly something he felt he could help address.
