- 0:00Speaker 1: Hi, it's Phil Henry. Welcome to another Radio Archive Hour
- 0:02Speaker 1: for you from our Radio Hall of Fame show, our
- 0:05Speaker 1: website philhenryshow.com. And we present tonight Chris Norton. Chris is
- 0:10Speaker 1: a dumbass who grew up in, I don't know where
- 0:13Speaker 1: he's from. Oh, it's Verdando Beach. He's Jeff Doudna's cousin.
- 0:17Speaker 1: He's an oversexed guy. He got into adult filmmaking. He
- 0:21Speaker 1: claims to have slept with hundreds of thousands of women.
- 0:23Speaker 1: But anyway, here he is talking about sexual harassment as
- 0:27Speaker 1: it pertains to Arnold Schwarzenegger during the 2003 California recall
- 0:31Speaker 1: election because that's what Schwarzenegger was accused of. And it's
- 0:35Speaker 1: Chris thinking he's being really erudite and really explaining things,
- 0:39Speaker 1: and he sounds like a jackass, especially when he talks
- 0:42Speaker 1: about women's private areas.
- 0:44Speaker 2: Like, well, I won't even tell you. You've got to listen.
- 0:46Speaker 1: Chris Norton here from 2003 on the Phil Henry Show.
- 0:49Speaker 2: Chris Norton joins us. Chris is a, I guess Chris
- 0:54Speaker 2: would say more or less an advisor to the Schwarzenegger
- 0:58Speaker 2: campaign on an informal basis, right?
- 1:01Speaker 3: That's correct, Phil. I got involved with the Schwarzenegger campaign
- 1:05Speaker 3: when they asked for some volunteers to, kind of canvass
- 1:11Speaker 3: the youth vote in a lot of ways. That seemed
- 1:13Speaker 3: to be something we do a lot of call out
- 1:15Speaker 3: in the job that I do. And this has been
- 1:20Speaker 3: kind of a tough week for him, too.
- 1:21Speaker 2: Well, with these accusations of sexually harassing women as well
- 1:27Speaker 2: as the Hitler connection, what did the campaign do immediately
- 1:32Speaker 2: to deal with this?
- 1:35Speaker 3: I was not directly involved in any of that, Phil,
- 1:38Speaker 3: but I think what Arnold Schwarzenegger needed was someone who
- 1:42Speaker 3: could handle the accusations of him touching women in private areas.
- 1:48Speaker 3: And I don't think his campaign did a good job
- 1:50Speaker 3: of that, because they are always at a loss as
- 1:52Speaker 3: to what it means when a man touches a woman
- 1:55Speaker 3: in a dirty way. And the way to position this,
- 1:59Speaker 3: in my opinion... is we think women would welcome the
- 2:02Speaker 3: news that Mr. Schwarzenegger shows a healthy interest in women
- 2:07Speaker 3: and in getting to know them, because what this really
- 2:09Speaker 3: says is he's interested in knowing them and ultimately their issues.
- 2:12Speaker 2: All right, and we're talking about Schwarzenegger fondling women and.
- 2:16Speaker 3: I think it's a language that... What you have to
- 2:20Speaker 3: do is you have to spin it positively, and the
- 2:24Speaker 3: worst thing that's happened, I think, in the last 30
- 2:26Speaker 3: years is this knee-jerk response... on the part of women
- 2:29Speaker 3: that if a man touches them in a dirty way,
- 2:33Speaker 3: it means something dirty. What it does show is a
- 2:36Speaker 3: healthy interest in women.
- 2:38Speaker 2: Well, I mean, this is physical harassment, right? Why is
- 2:40Speaker 2: it coming out this way, with a man touching or
- 2:42Speaker 2: groping a woman?
- 2:43Speaker 3: Well, Phil, it comes out that way because women are,
- 2:46Speaker 3: in a lot of ways, and I'm trying to put
- 2:50Speaker 3: this the best way I can, but women are oftentimes
- 2:52Speaker 3: too stupid to express their real needs and their feelings.
- 2:55Speaker 3: And so men want to.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Too stupid or too insecure?
- 3:00Speaker 3: Well, I think men want to know what those feelings are,
- 3:05Speaker 3: and women oftentimes are too, I guess, stupid to say
- 3:11Speaker 3: what they are, and they act out in a physical way,
- 3:13Speaker 3: which is really a need on an emotional level.
- 3:15Speaker 2: All right, so you're saying that when a man gropes
- 3:17Speaker 2: a woman or physically manhandles her the way that Arnold
- 3:21Speaker 2: Schwarzenegger admits he did, This is a psychological need to
- 3:25Speaker 2: get to know the woman.
- 3:28Speaker 3: Yeah, to know women better and to understand women's issues better.
- 3:31Speaker 3: Arnold Schwarzenegger, this is what his campaign should have done.
- 3:35Speaker 3: He needs to make this clear. Obviously, women get this
- 3:38Speaker 3: on some deeper level because he's going to be elected governor.
- 3:40Speaker 3: So if what I'm saying is not true, then women
- 3:46Speaker 3: would react to that, I think. as if it isn't true,
- 3:48Speaker 3: but there's a large female vote out there for him.
- 3:50Speaker 2: Are you saying that women recognize on some level that
- 3:52Speaker 2: being groped is a man's way of empathizing with them?
- 3:57Speaker 3: I really think so, Phil, and I realize that no
- 3:58Speaker 3: one has ever said this before, and that's why when
- 4:00Speaker 3: I brought this up initially to this, or to the
- 4:03Speaker 3: New York campaign, they kind of looked at me funny,
- 4:05Speaker 3: but I did seek out the opinion of Dr. Jared Banks,
- 4:09Speaker 3: who's at UCLA's School of Psychiatry, as well as Dr.
- 4:13Speaker 3: Julia Husband of the USC School of Neuropharmacology, and they feel...
- 4:17Speaker 3: that this might be a breakthrough view in finally understanding
- 4:20Speaker 3: why women, and we've asked ourselves for many years, why
- 4:23Speaker 3: do women get so violently angry at a man who
- 4:27Speaker 3: is just trying to empathize through his physical groping or
- 4:31Speaker 3: putting his finger in her dirty place? And this is
- 4:34Speaker 3: called acting out, and I would think women would have
- 4:36Speaker 3: more understanding of it.
- 4:39Speaker 2: All right, so when a man gropes or physically finals
- 4:42Speaker 2: a woman, he's acting out on a level of needing
- 4:45Speaker 2: to understand her.
- 4:46Speaker 3: And that's something I think women need to understand about
- 4:48Speaker 3: Arnold Schwarzenegger. He just wants to know what's the most
- 4:54Speaker 3: important issue today with women.
- 4:57Speaker 2: Okay, 1-800-449-8686, 1-800-449-8686. I've got to tell you, I doubt
- 5:04Speaker 2: seriously that any woman who's ever been sexually harassed by
- 5:06Speaker 2: a man would think that that's his need to communicate
- 5:09Speaker 2: with them.
- 5:09Speaker 3: Well, I don't think women understand why men grab them
- 5:14Speaker 3: and touch them in places. I think it may be
- 5:18Speaker 3: a little bit advanced for a lot of women. Women
- 5:20Speaker 3: are still, and you have to understand this, women are still,
- 5:24Speaker 3: in relative terms, emerging from the cave. I mean, women
- 5:28Speaker 3: are still, these advanced theories on why they get angry
- 5:33Speaker 3: are probably a little above most of them. All right, well, Chris.
- 5:36Speaker 2: Let me interrupt you, because you're talking about women right
- 5:38Speaker 2: now as if they're not very bright, that they're socially
- 5:43Speaker 2: behind men, that they may be culturally behind men, and
- 5:47Speaker 2: so the language of a man touching them is meaningful,
- 5:51Speaker 2: and they don't speak that language.
- 5:53Speaker 3: That is exactly correct. And again, I spoke with Dr.
- 5:55Speaker 3: Husband about this. And she agreed with me. She said
- 5:59Speaker 3: most women live in a primitive state, not unlike where
- 6:04Speaker 3: they were in a Neolithic or Mesolithic period, where they're
- 6:09Speaker 3: just in a survival mode. And for them to actually
- 6:11Speaker 3: understand a man when he... I'm going to be going
- 6:15Speaker 3: around to rape crisis centers in the Los Angeles and
- 6:18Speaker 3: Southern California area. I'm going to sit down with the
- 6:20Speaker 3: clients there and try to open up the eyes of
- 6:22Speaker 3: the women to the truth that the man who raped
- 6:24Speaker 3: them was probably just trying to reach out and understand them.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Well, you're not going to get women to understand that.
- 6:30Speaker 3: I'm sorry?
- 6:30Speaker 2: You're not going to get women to understand that, a
- 6:32Speaker 2: woman that's been raped?
- 6:36Speaker 3: I don't want to think women are too stupid. If
- 6:38Speaker 3: they are.
- 6:39Speaker 2: Well, is this about stupidity, or is it about.
- 6:41Speaker 3: It's a very, very subtle psychological place. See, when a
- 6:48Speaker 3: man rapes you, he's probably just trying to reach out
- 6:50Speaker 3: and understand you, but because women are too stupid to
- 6:53Speaker 3: get that, they assume it's rape.
- 6:55Speaker 2: Well, it is rape. It's a violent attack.
- 6:59Speaker 3: Yes, it is. But there is a.
- 7:02Speaker 2: Well, what woman has time to think about the deeper
- 7:04Speaker 2: meaning of being physically assaulted by a human being other
- 7:08Speaker 2: than she's trying to protect herself?
- 7:10Speaker 3: I'm not saying necessarily in a rape situation, but certainly
- 7:13Speaker 3: in Arnold Schwarzenegger's situation, Phil, if he was putting his
- 7:17Speaker 3: finger in her place, where she goes to the bathroom,
- 7:22Speaker 3: he would not... you know, he would not, I don't
- 7:26Speaker 3: think she would be reacting bad. And the other thing
- 7:31Speaker 3: we do is we place out calls to the homes
- 7:32Speaker 3: of rape victims and speak to them directly. We call
- 7:36Speaker 3: around dinner time so we know they'll be there. And,
- 7:38Speaker 3: you know, the husbands, we ask them to butt out
- 7:43Speaker 3: and just talk directly.
- 7:45Speaker 2: All right. We're talking with Chris Norton. I've got to
- 7:47Speaker 2: interrupt here. Our number is 1-800- 449-8686. Chris, you do
- 7:53Speaker 2: telemarketing for a pharmaceutical company?
- 7:56Speaker 3: That is correct, yeah.
- 7:58Speaker 2: And you've done some studying on the phenomenon of why
- 8:03Speaker 2: women get so angry when they're groped?
- 8:07Speaker 3: Yes, when they're physically so-called harassed or groped by a man.
- 8:12Speaker 2: And you have come to the conclusion that women are
- 8:15Speaker 2: too stupid to understand... that it is a man really
- 8:19Speaker 2: reaching out and trying to know them better.
- 8:20Speaker 3: That is correct.
- 8:21Speaker 2: And that was the case in Mr. Schwarzenegger's situation?
- 8:24Speaker 3: I believe it was, because you have a man, Arnold Schwarzenegger,
- 8:27Speaker 3: who's very, very intelligent, very, very, very intelligent, knows... I mean,
- 8:33Speaker 3: this is a man who comes from Austria, and yet
- 8:35Speaker 3: he knows America better than most Americans. He knows California
- 8:38Speaker 3: better than most Californians.
- 8:40Speaker 4: I mean.
- 8:40Speaker 3: This is a very intelligent man, and when he makes
- 8:43Speaker 3: an approach to a woman and he wants to touch
- 8:47Speaker 3: her in her private place, then he's obviously making a
- 8:51Speaker 3: profound statement. I'm sure Mr. Schwarzenegger ran into a lot
- 8:55Speaker 3: of women that were just too stupid to understand that
- 8:57Speaker 3: because it was the movie business. And the women probably
- 9:01Speaker 3: were too stupid to understand it. But I would say.
- 9:04Speaker 2: Well, I want to interrupt you.
- 9:07Speaker 3: No, after.
- 9:08Speaker 2: No, I want to interrupt you. You've said something that's scary.
- 9:11Speaker 2: You say that a guy that rapes a woman is.
- 9:13Speaker 3: Well, that's an extreme case. But again, the language is
- 9:17Speaker 3: the same. That the guy is trying to connect. The
- 9:23Speaker 3: women have an intense need to be understood. Verbal communication
- 9:26Speaker 3: doesn't work. physical communication does.
- 9:30Speaker 2: Let me ask you a question, Mr. Norton. How do
- 9:32Speaker 2: you know all of this? You are a pharmaceutical salesman, correct?
- 9:36Speaker 3: That is correct, yeah.
- 9:38Speaker 2: What is your formal education?
- 9:40Speaker 3: I attended four years at Mission Viejo High School, and
- 9:47Speaker 3: now I'm working.
- 9:48Speaker 2: So you don't have any college?
- 9:50Speaker 3: No, I don't.
- 9:51Speaker 2: But what are you basing all this on?
- 9:53Speaker 3: What I'm basing it on are the works of Dr.
- 9:56Speaker 3: Banks and the works of Dr. Husband at USC, and also...
- 10:00Speaker 3: I have, and I want to say this the right way,
- 10:04Speaker 3: but I've been with a lot of women. I'm considered
- 10:08Speaker 3: to be, I'm pretty good looking, and I'm sassy to
- 10:10Speaker 3: a lot of women. So I've had sass with probably....
- 10:16Speaker 2: You know, a lot. All right, hold on.
- 10:19Speaker 3: 1-800-449-8686.
- 10:21Speaker 2: Chris Norton with us. When a man molests or otherwise
- 10:24Speaker 2: sexually harasses a woman, he's actually just trying to get
- 10:26Speaker 2: to know her on a deeper level. Women are not
- 10:29Speaker 2: bright enough to understand this. Barbara, hi, you're on the
- 10:32Speaker 2: Phil Henry Show.
- 10:33Speaker 3: Hi.
- 10:34Speaker 2: Yes, ma'am.
- 10:34Speaker 4: Hi.
- 10:34Speaker 5: I just need to tell Mr. North there that he's
- 10:37Speaker 5: being very irresponsible in the things that he's stating. And
- 10:40Speaker 5: I hope any woman out there who's listening to this
- 10:44Speaker 5: and may be having an emotional problem as one he's
- 10:47Speaker 5: speaking about will not listen to a word he says.
- 10:50Speaker 3: Can I ask you your credentials?
- 10:54Speaker 2: I'm sorry?
- 10:55Speaker 3: Can I ask you what your credentials are?
- 10:57Speaker 6: Well, I'm a.
- 10:58Speaker 5: Woman, and I'm a graduate of higher education. I've never
- 11:03Speaker 5: been attacked, but I have been groped. And I can
- 11:06Speaker 5: tell you that, you know, how do you say that
- 11:10Speaker 5: anyone having unwanted.
- 11:13Speaker 5: Physical touching is making the woman look bad.
- 11:18Speaker 2: She doesn't want this. It's a good question. What's your response, Chris?
- 11:22Speaker 3: I think it is a good question. I think in
- 11:23Speaker 3: the case of Arnold Schwarzenegger, you have a man of
- 11:26Speaker 3: very high intellect dealing with women that were too stupid
- 11:29Speaker 3: to understand. He's on a movie set, and here he
- 11:32Speaker 3: is trying to really get through to women. What's the
- 11:35Speaker 3: number one thing that women want? They want to be understood.
- 11:38Speaker 3: This is the way a man tries to understand a woman,
- 11:42Speaker 3: by putting his hand up, you know.
- 11:46Speaker 5: I really can't believe that you're serious.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Yeah, why... If I'm a man who wants to understand...
- 11:51Speaker 2: Because we.
- 11:51Speaker 3: Recognize that women don't react positively to men who are
- 11:55Speaker 3: overly sensitive. If a guy says, let's have a cup
- 11:57Speaker 3: of coffee, let's talk, women automatically think he's some kind
- 12:01Speaker 3: of a fairy. I mean, what we want to do
- 12:04Speaker 3: and what men want to do.
- 12:05Speaker 5: You know what? If a man puts his hand on me,
- 12:06Speaker 5: I think he's a Neanderthal, and I'll break his hand off.
- 12:10Speaker 4: But.
- 12:10Speaker 3: On a level, you understand that he understands you because
- 12:14Speaker 3: that's what you want.
- 12:15Speaker 2: No, that's not what I want. Wait a minute. When
- 12:18Speaker 2: you say that's what she wants.
- 12:19Speaker 3: Well, no, I'm saying, may I ask you, ma'am, are
- 12:22Speaker 3: you married?
- 12:24Speaker 4: Yes.
- 12:24Speaker 3: Okay.
- 12:25Speaker 5: And I lived in New York where I was on
- 12:28Speaker 5: the subway and people would tend to sometimes touch you.
- 12:31Speaker 6: Right.
- 12:31Speaker 5: Whether it was, you know, intentional or not.
- 12:34Speaker 6: Okay.
- 12:35Speaker 3: Why do you make a big deal out of that?
- 12:38Speaker 3: Because it's disgusting.
- 12:39Speaker 5: It's my body, and no one's going to touch it
- 12:42Speaker 5: because I don't want them to.
- 12:43Speaker 3: Wait a second. Women go out, Mr. Henry and Barbara,
- 12:48Speaker 3: and spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to have their
- 12:50Speaker 3: breasts enlarged only to get angry when someone says, hey,
- 12:59Speaker 3: you've got a nice pair of cans. You see what
- 13:01Speaker 3: I'm saying? That's how stupid this is. If you get
- 13:04Speaker 3: on and you know your butt looks good, Wait, wait, wait.
- 13:07Speaker 2: You are now all of a sudden going down that
- 13:09Speaker 2: road that says if a woman's dressed a certain way,
- 13:11Speaker 2: she's fair game to grab her ring or whatever?
- 13:14Speaker 3: Well, how come she's wearing pants that are up her crack?
- 13:18Speaker 2: What? Are you advising the Schwarzenegger campaign?
- 13:21Speaker 3: No, I'm not advising. They asked me questions based upon
- 13:25Speaker 3: the writings of Dr. Jared Banks at UCLA and Dr.
- 13:28Speaker 3: Julia Husband, and I have studied both of them.
- 13:31Speaker 5: You know, I really would like to hear more about
- 13:33Speaker 5: your studies because I don't know where they came from.
- 13:35Speaker 5: You know, I noticed that you flipped and you almost
- 13:38Speaker 5: said a woman's dirty place. And, you know, that goes
- 13:40Speaker 5: to show, sir, that you're not so enlightened. And I
- 13:43Speaker 5: don't know how far out of the cave you've come.
- 13:45Speaker 3: Okay, let me ask you something. Has your husband ever
- 13:48Speaker 3: groped you? Yes. So why do you get violently angry
- 13:51Speaker 3: about it?
- 13:52Speaker 2: Because it's guys that she doesn't know that she doesn't
- 13:55Speaker 2: want to have it done to. Or done from, I
- 13:57Speaker 2: should say, or whatever. 1-800-449-8686. Christopher Norton is with us.
- 14:04Speaker 2: Arnold Schwarzenegger's groping of women back in the 70s and
- 14:08Speaker 2: 80s was actually a very intelligent man's way of trying
- 14:11Speaker 2: to make contact with women. And women are so on
- 14:15Speaker 2: one level, so socially retarded, according to Mr. Norton, that
- 14:18Speaker 2: they don't get... the real language. They don't speak the
- 14:23Speaker 2: language of a man groping them. It means he wants
- 14:26Speaker 2: to know them better and understand them better. One thing
- 14:30Speaker 2: he did say, which I think merits some concern, is
- 14:32Speaker 2: a woman goes out and has her breasts enlarged and
- 14:34Speaker 2: then gets upset when someone actually verbalizes an appreciation for them.
- 14:39Speaker 2: That's a little weird. But we'll talk with him more
- 14:42Speaker 2: about this. Quit getting so uptight when men grope them.
- 14:47Speaker 2: Phil Henry Show. The Phil Henry Show. Pure exhibitionism. The
- 14:53Speaker 2: Phil Henry Show is back. 1-800-449-8686. Chris Norton joins me.
- 14:59Speaker 2: He's a telemarketer who informally advises the Schwarzenegger campaign.
- 15:03Speaker 4: Mr.
- 15:04Speaker 2: Norton, question for you. Do you believe, I really want
- 15:07Speaker 2: to ask you this question. Do you think that this
- 15:09Speaker 2: is helpful to give a message to men that groping
- 15:12Speaker 2: a woman is actually a positive thing?
- 15:16Speaker 3: I don't necessarily think it's me giving the message to
- 15:18Speaker 3: the men. I think it's me saying to the women
- 15:22Speaker 3: that the men are being.
- 15:25Speaker 2: Well, wait a minute. You're saying to men that this
- 15:27Speaker 2: is a positive thing.
- 15:28Speaker 3: Well, men know that. I'm saying that... Do you think.
- 15:31Speaker 2: This is a healthy thing to do?
- 15:33Speaker 3: Well, Arnold Schwarzenegger... Mr. Henry is being vilified right now
- 15:39Speaker 3: because he attempted to communicate with some women 30 years
- 15:42Speaker 3: ago about his inner feelings. And now 30 years later,
- 15:44Speaker 3: they're still too stupid to understand what that means. 30
- 15:49Speaker 3: years later, the women are still too stupid to know
- 15:53Speaker 3: what that means.
- 15:55Speaker 2: All right. 1-800-449-8686. Colleen, go ahead. You're on the Phil
- 15:58Speaker 2: Henry Show. Hello. Colleen, go ahead. You're on the Phil
- 16:02Speaker 2: Henry Show.
- 16:05Speaker 6: That I have a large vocabulary, and the place between
- 16:09Speaker 6: my legs is not a dirty place.
- 16:11Speaker 4: It's actually called my vagina.
- 16:14Speaker 3: Wow, I mean, that's... See how you said that? Well, okay,
- 16:20Speaker 3: so you say that because, what, are you trying to
- 16:22Speaker 3: turn guys on?
- 16:23Speaker 2: Well, it's nice.
- 16:25Speaker 3: There's kids listening.
- 16:31Speaker 2: Proper term, sir?
- 16:31Speaker 6: That's what you would tell a child.
- 16:34Speaker 4: To call that place.
- 16:35Speaker 2: No.
- 16:35Speaker 3: You don't call it a dirty place? No, you don't.
- 16:37Speaker 3: You don't tell a child that. You tell a child
- 16:40Speaker 3: it's the rose or it's your tinkle.
- 16:43Speaker 2: Oh, sir, no, you don't.
- 16:44Speaker 3: You tell the child the proper terminology. Well, ma'am, I
- 16:48Speaker 3: don't believe that, and I think that you're trying to
- 16:50Speaker 3: turn men on by saying that. Why are you trying
- 16:53Speaker 3: to turn men on by saying that?
- 16:54Speaker 2: Wait a minute, wait a minute. The lady used a
- 16:55Speaker 2: clinical term. Is it turning you on?
- 16:57Speaker 3: That's neither here nor there, Mr. Henry. I'm just trying
- 17:00Speaker 3: to respect the fact that this is a family show.
- 17:03Speaker 3: And when Arnold Schwarzenegger put his thing in a lady's
- 17:06Speaker 3: dirty part, is what I call it.
- 17:08Speaker 2: Put his thing in a.
- 17:09Speaker 4: I'm actually making it more dirty.
- 17:11Speaker 6: You're not even able to use your vocabulary.
- 17:15Speaker 4: What it is. And I don't understand why men, only
- 17:18Speaker 4: some men and very few men, can't use their words.
- 17:21Speaker 2: They only can use their hands.
- 17:22Speaker 3: Well, ma'am, words... Every time a man approaches a woman
- 17:25Speaker 3: and says, Would you care to have a cup of coffee?
- 17:27Speaker 3: I'd like to get to know you better. She thinks
- 17:28Speaker 3: he's a wimp. and he's not going to be any
- 17:30Speaker 3: good in bed. What woman is that? Every woman. Every
- 17:34Speaker 3: woman thinks that a man that's good at conversation right
- 17:37Speaker 3: away is some cardigan sweater-wearing, lightweight, who is quasi-homosexual and
- 17:43Speaker 3: probably would be a lot of fun to go to
- 17:45Speaker 3: a Woody Allen movie with, but, you know... And I'm
- 17:47Speaker 3: trying to help, ma'am.
- 17:48Speaker 6: I think your opinions belong in the cave.
- 17:51Speaker 3: And by the way, ma'am.
- 17:52Speaker 5: I'd love to go out for coffee with a gentleman.
- 17:53Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 17:54Speaker 4: And I'd love to go to a movie with a gentleman.
- 17:56Speaker 3: You want to have sex with him? And I wouldn't
- 17:56Speaker 3: go out with someone who used their hands. You want
- 17:58Speaker 3: to have sex with that guy, though? No, you don't.
- 18:01Speaker 5: Yeah!
- 18:01Speaker 3: And I don't think it's proper, by the way, Colleen,
- 18:03Speaker 3: for a little girl to tell a room full of
- 18:05Speaker 3: people that her vagina is itchy. I think that's really disgusting.
- 18:10Speaker 3: But what makes her a sign of dirty? And her
- 18:13Speaker 3: flower is that she is more proper.
- 18:15Speaker 2: Okay, can we get off of this conversation? It's making
- 18:17Speaker 2: me a little uncomfortable.
- 18:18Speaker 3: Absolutely. Well, she started it. She started in on it,
- 18:21Speaker 3: trying to turn everybody on.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Well, I don't think she's trying to turn everybody on.
- 18:26Speaker 2: I mean, it was just that she took exception to
- 18:27Speaker 2: you saying her dirty place.
- 18:30Speaker 3: All right, her taco, or whatever you want to call it.
- 18:33Speaker 4: You are ignorant with your terminology.
- 18:36Speaker 3: Oh, okay.
- 18:36Speaker 6: I think you need to take a revisit back to
- 18:38Speaker 6: your high school and look at what they called it
- 18:40Speaker 6: back then.
- 18:41Speaker 3: Ma'am, we didn't talk about it then.
- 18:45Speaker 4: But we do talk about it now in school, and
- 18:47Speaker 4: children are taught properly. They, of course, don't walk around
- 18:51Speaker 4: and say that. They don't point it out in normal conversation.
- 18:54Speaker 3: Oh, so let me ask you, Colleen. Colleen, what do
- 18:56Speaker 3: you do at a party? Do you pull up your
- 18:57Speaker 3: skirt and go, and this is my.
- 18:59Speaker 2: Okay, I don't think she said that. Colleen, thank you
- 19:02Speaker 2: for your call. We're going to take a break. Arnold
- 19:04Speaker 2: Schwarzenegger groping women was actually his way of trying to
- 19:08Speaker 2: understand them, and women don't get it, Joe. The Phil
- 19:11Speaker 2: Henry Show. Kittens are tasty. The Phil Henry Show is back.
- 19:15Speaker 2: All right, Chris Norton with me. Arnold Schwarzenegger's problems will
- 19:19Speaker 2: follow him to the polls. When I say problems, do
- 19:22Speaker 2: you think these are problems that he has, this groping
- 19:23Speaker 2: of women?
- 19:24Speaker 3: No, I really don't, Mr. Henry. But, again, I think
- 19:26Speaker 3: a California voter understands what Mr. Schwarzenegger is doing. I
- 19:30Speaker 3: think when he was a young man groping women, he
- 19:34Speaker 3: was acting out of total natural instinct. It's the woman
- 19:38Speaker 3: who has made it negative. It's the woman who has
- 19:43Speaker 3: turned it into... Because she knows that when a man...
- 19:48Speaker 3: grabs her by any area he's going right for that
- 19:53Speaker 3: place that she secretly wants him to but doesn't want
- 19:58Speaker 3: to say and that makes women angry because they want
- 20:03Speaker 3: to feel like they're playing hard to get and they
- 20:04Speaker 3: want to feel like they're harder to get to than that.
- 20:07Speaker 2: Well, again, I got to say, this is a dangerous thing,
- 20:10Speaker 2: in my opinion.
- 20:11Speaker 3: Sir, you keep saying how dangerous this is.
- 20:13Speaker 2: No, it's a dangerous thing to encourage men.
- 20:15Speaker 3: I'm not encouraging men. Arnold Schwarzenegger has been vilified over
- 20:18Speaker 3: the last two weeks. He's been called some kind of
- 20:20Speaker 3: a perv, like he's some kind of a perv, pulling
- 20:23Speaker 3: open his coat and letting his thing hang out. And
- 20:27Speaker 3: women are, you know, and they think we men have
- 20:30Speaker 3: to beg to get it.
- 20:33Speaker 2: There's something about the way you talk that sounds almost predatory.
- 20:37Speaker 2: And it scares me a little bit.
- 20:38Speaker 3: Why?
- 20:39Speaker 2: I mean, well, they're teasing, and they want it, and
- 20:41Speaker 2: it's like a rapist talking.
- 20:43Speaker 4: Mr.
- 20:43Speaker 3: Henry, that is slanderous. All right, all right.
- 20:46Speaker 2: I'm sorry I didn't mean to say rapist, but it
- 20:49Speaker 2: sounds a little creepy. All right, 1-800-449-8686. Michelle, you're on
- 20:53Speaker 2: The Phil Henry Show. Go ahead. Hi, yes. Yeah, go ahead, ma'am.
- 20:58Speaker 4: I have a point for your speaker about the women groping.
- 21:04Speaker 4: And not being very intelligent. If you go into a
- 21:07Speaker 4: strip bar, you would get kicked out of the strip
- 21:10Speaker 4: bar for touching a woman.
- 21:11Speaker 3: Well, yeah, but you've got to pay for it in there.
- 21:14Speaker 2: See?
- 21:15Speaker 3: That's totally different. You're just like stealing when you do
- 21:19Speaker 3: it in there. See what I'm saying?
- 21:22Speaker 4: You're stealing?
- 21:23Speaker 3: Yeah. In a strip bar, you have to pay.
- 21:27Speaker 4: I get very offended when you call women stupid and
- 21:30Speaker 4: wanting to be groped and touched by what they wear.
- 21:32Speaker 3: Well, no. But, I mean, let's face it. If you
- 21:35Speaker 3: spend $ 15, 000 on brand new cans and I say, hey,
- 21:39Speaker 3: nice breasts, and you get mad.
- 21:40Speaker 4: Well, first of all, they're not $ 15, 000. They're worth $ 5, 000.
- 21:43Speaker 3: Okay, but if you go out of your way to
- 21:45Speaker 3: show them off and then a guy makes a comment
- 21:47Speaker 3: about them and you get all upset... And I'm getting
- 21:51Speaker 3: hot and everything.
- 21:52Speaker 2: Who cares whether you're getting hot or not?
- 21:55Speaker 3: She wants me to see it.
- 21:57Speaker 4: You're talking about Arnold Schwarzenegger and women that are coming
- 22:00Speaker 4: forward talking about that they're not bright enough. And then
- 22:03Speaker 4: they're asking for it and want to be gross.
- 22:05Speaker 3: No, I got proof. It took these women, it's been
- 22:08Speaker 3: 30 years since Arnold Schwarzenegger showed a real interest in
- 22:13Speaker 3: these women. And 30 years later, they still don't get it.
- 22:16Speaker 3: If that isn't stupid... then I, you know.
- 22:21Speaker 4: Well, I don't think, I mean, me personally, I make
- 22:23Speaker 4: six figures a year. I'm a very intelligent woman. And
- 22:26Speaker 4: because of what I wear and what I do doesn't
- 22:28Speaker 4: think that gives you the right.
- 22:29Speaker 3: To grope me. Well, what if I have genuine interest
- 22:32Speaker 3: in your career?
- 22:34Speaker 4: Well, if you have genuine interest, why would you grope me?
- 22:36Speaker 3: Well, okay, so what? I'm going to ask you out
- 22:38Speaker 3: for a drink and you're going to go, look at
- 22:39Speaker 3: this wimp. I mean, this guy, you know, why don't
- 22:41Speaker 3: you just go for it?
- 22:43Speaker 2: See?
- 22:43Speaker 3: If women take the stigma away from their dirty, you know,
- 22:46Speaker 3: from their... Where they go to the bathroom, it's not
- 22:50Speaker 3: bad anymore. I encourage women to do that. Yellow.
- 22:57Speaker 4: I'm here. I'm sorry.
- 22:59Speaker 3: Did you hear what I said, ma'am?
- 23:00Speaker 4: No, I did not hear what you said.
- 23:01Speaker 3: I said if women will take the stigma away from
- 23:04Speaker 3: their place where they go to the bathroom, men won't
- 23:06Speaker 3: be upset.
- 23:08Speaker 4: I think that you're the one that's obsessed with the
- 23:10Speaker 4: place to go to the bathroom.
- 23:11Speaker 3: Well, what do you want me to call it? I'm
- 23:13Speaker 3: trying to be clean.
- 23:16Speaker 2: Can't you say something like private area or.
- 23:18Speaker 3: I.
- 23:19Speaker 4: Mean, I thought it was a joke. When I heard
- 23:23Speaker 4: you on the radio, I thought it was a joke.
- 23:24Speaker 4: I started laughing. I could not believe my eyes. And
- 23:27Speaker 4: then you've got this, I mean, are you in a
- 23:28Speaker 4: bowling alley? Because that's what you hear in the background.
- 23:31Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean, all of a sudden that's against the
- 23:33Speaker 3: law then.
- 23:33Speaker 2: I'm not saying it's.
- 23:34Speaker 4: Against the law. Please don't get offended. But I do
- 23:36Speaker 4: have one question for you. You made a comment about
- 23:39Speaker 4: how you have been out with tons and tons of
- 23:40Speaker 4: women and had sex with all these women. Now, are
- 23:43Speaker 4: they from the same educational background in which you're from
- 23:48Speaker 4: that like to be groped and asked for it by
- 23:50Speaker 4: the place they go to the bathroom?
- 23:52Speaker 3: Okay, I'm not so stupid as to not know you're
- 23:56Speaker 3: being sarcastic with me, but I will say this. I
- 24:00Speaker 3: think it is a very serious matter. I think it's
- 24:03Speaker 3: a very serious matter.
- 24:05Speaker 4: I apologize for calling in because the things that you're
- 24:07Speaker 4: saying are so ridiculous, and you're making yourself sound really,
- 24:10Speaker 4: really stupid, and I hope that you're not really using
- 24:12Speaker 4: your name because women out there, if you thought you
- 24:14Speaker 4: had a chance with any of them, you probably just
- 24:17Speaker 4: ruined that for the ones that actually have a brain.
- 24:18Speaker 3: Wait a minute. I think it's very serious when a
- 24:22Speaker 3: man's political career is put into jeopardy by some sluts
- 24:27Speaker 3: who are... No, no, no, we don't have to.
- 24:29Speaker 4: People that are intelligent, that listen and follow politics, are
- 24:32Speaker 4: not going to believe, or maybe they do believe women
- 24:35Speaker 4: that come out. I mean, Arnold Schwarzenegger, how long has
- 24:37Speaker 4: this been going on? He's just come out a couple
- 24:40Speaker 4: of days before the campaign. Do you think that's real?
- 24:43Speaker 3: Exactly, and she said he put his hand in.
- 24:45Speaker 4: They're obviously trying to sabotage Arnold Schwarzenegger.
- 24:49Speaker 3: Okay, so what are you getting upset about?
- 24:50Speaker 4: I'm not upset about all sorts of anger or the
- 24:55Speaker 4: women or anything.
- 24:56Speaker 3: Well, you're saying that it was okay for him to
- 24:58Speaker 3: touch them.
- 24:58Speaker 4: Like you have no education whatsoever.
- 25:01Speaker 3: No, you're saying it's okay for him to touch them,
- 25:04Speaker 3: but men can't touch other women?
- 25:07Speaker 2: No, she didn't say that. She said that... I bet.
- 25:10Speaker 3: You'd allow Arnold to grope you, wouldn't you? Wouldn't you?
- 25:13Speaker 3: Go on, be honest. I can't hear you. I bet
- 25:16Speaker 3: you would allow Arnold Schwarzenegger to grope you.
- 25:19Speaker 4: Why would I allow Arnold Schwarzenegger to grope me?
- 25:22Speaker 5: Yeah!
- 25:23Speaker 3: Nice shot.
- 25:24Speaker 4: What?
- 25:25Speaker 2: What are you doing, man? Are you watching a bowling
- 25:27Speaker 2: game or are you talking to the caller?
- 25:29Speaker 3: Hold on for a minute. Spare.
- 25:32Speaker 4: Is that the bullet?
- 25:33Speaker 3: Pick up the spare. I'm asking you, would you allow
- 25:36Speaker 3: Arnold Schwarzenegger to put his finger in the dirty area?
- 25:39Speaker 2: Okay, look.
- 25:40Speaker 4: I would no longer allow. I would not allow Arnold
- 25:43Speaker 4: Schwarzenegger to touch me.
- 25:45Speaker 3: I mean, would you?
- 25:46Speaker 5: What?
- 25:46Speaker 3: What do you mean, would I? Am I a fad?
- 25:48Speaker 2: No. You know, for a political.
- 25:51Speaker 3: Nice shot.
- 25:52Speaker 2: For a political... I'm going to ask you to step
- 25:55Speaker 2: away from the... You're.
- 25:56Speaker 4: Such a waste of time.
- 25:57Speaker 2: Yeah, no kidding.
- 25:57Speaker 4: I'm not going to even waste my time anymore.
- 25:59Speaker 3: Okay, well, fine. Have fun.
- 26:01Speaker 4: Okay, have fun bowling.
- 26:03Speaker 3: Yeah, well, it's better than being at home alone. All right.
- 26:07Speaker 2: I've got one more call here. Louise, go ahead. You're
- 26:12Speaker 2: on the Phil Henry Show. Hi. Yes, ma'am.
- 26:15Speaker 3: First off, I came in as a footer after seven.
- 26:19Speaker 5: What?
- 26:20Speaker 6: Pardon me?
- 26:20Speaker 3: What? Are you listening?
- 26:22Speaker 2: Yes, ma'am.
- 26:23Speaker 3: What did you say?
- 26:24Speaker 6: I came into this, I turned the radio on at
- 26:26Speaker 6: quarter after seven after my son's soccer game.
- 26:28Speaker 3: Okay.
- 26:28Speaker 6: I could not believe what I was hearing. This was
- 26:31Speaker 6: before I even heard Arnold's name come up at all.
- 26:33Speaker 3: Okay, would you let Arnold Schwarzenegger grope you, yes or no?
- 26:37Speaker 6: I wouldn't let anyone grope me.
- 26:39Speaker 3: Not even your husband?
- 26:40Speaker 6: In my body.
- 26:41Speaker 3: Not even your husband?
- 26:42Speaker 6: And I'm intelligent enough to decide who I do things
- 26:44Speaker 6: with and who I don't do things with.
- 26:46Speaker 3: Okay.
- 26:47Speaker 6: Whether he's a star or not, I don't care if
- 26:49Speaker 6: he's got millions of dollars.
- 26:50Speaker 3: So if Arnold Schwarzenegger said... He wanted to get to
- 26:54Speaker 3: know you better and know what your thinking was, because
- 26:57Speaker 3: that's what I really think is behind this.
- 26:58Speaker 2: Well, fine.
- 27:00Speaker 6: I will sit and I will talk for hours.
- 27:02Speaker 3: Okay, can I ask you a question? Do you let
- 27:03Speaker 3: your husband touch your bathroom area?
- 27:06Speaker 6: First of all, that's a really degrading word, the way
- 27:09Speaker 6: you're saying it.
- 27:09Speaker 3: Oh, so what am I supposed to... You want me
- 27:11Speaker 3: to use the C word?
- 27:11Speaker 2: No, but use it.
- 27:12Speaker 6: You want me to use the C word?
- 27:13Speaker 4: Yeah, use crotch, okay?
- 27:15Speaker 6: That's a lot better than bathroom area.
- 27:17Speaker 3: What's wrong with that?
- 27:18Speaker 6: I think that's really degrading. And what my husband and
- 27:20Speaker 6: I do... is our business because that's my husband i
- 27:23Speaker 6: told him to just be my partner well.
- 27:26Speaker 3: There you just said it you let him touch you
- 27:27Speaker 3: in your.
- 27:27Speaker 2: Business but this is my she didn't say that okay
- 27:31Speaker 2: you said you would let nobody grow.
- 27:33Speaker 6: You keep turning everyone's words around and you have to
- 27:36Speaker 6: realize you're going to get all kinds of females just
- 27:38Speaker 6: going nuts on.
- 27:39Speaker 3: You no what i'm trying to do is make women
- 27:41Speaker 3: understand nice shot but you know what you got to
- 27:43Speaker 3: pick the.
- 27:44Speaker 2: Spare up You know what?
- 27:47Speaker 4: Who are you playing?
- 27:48Speaker 3: I'm bowling with a couple of professors from UCLA.
- 27:51Speaker 6: Well, then, you know, if you're bowling with them, then
- 27:52Speaker 6: move away so we can have this conversation.
- 27:55Speaker 3: Tell the truth.
- 27:56Speaker 6: Because, you know, you're making me feel, like, very belittled.
- 27:58Speaker 3: Well, ma'am, I'm not trying to make you feel belittled.
- 28:01Speaker 3: I'm just playing. I'm bowling with two professors from UCLA's
- 28:04Speaker 3: Institute of Pharmacology, and I bet them about $ 20 on
- 28:07Speaker 3: the game. That's all. That's nice.
- 28:09Speaker 6: That's really nice of you.
- 28:10Speaker 3: Right now we're having a conversation. Okay, would you tell
- 28:12Speaker 3: me the truth? You'd want Arnold... If he was wearing
- 28:15Speaker 3: that Conan O'Brien outfit... And he grabbed your potty spot
- 28:19Speaker 3: and say, hello, my name.
- 28:20Speaker 2: Will you knock it off with potty spot and bathroom
- 28:23Speaker 2: area and everything else, please?
- 28:24Speaker 6: First of all, I would not get myself in a
- 28:27Speaker 6: position where someone could be grabbing me, period.
- 28:29Speaker 3: What about your milk machine?
- 28:30Speaker 2: All right, that's it. I'm done with this guy. I'm sorry.
- 28:33Speaker 6: You know, I'm sorry that this is really rude conversation.
- 28:36Speaker 2: Milk machine.
- 28:38Speaker 6: No, you know, you're super, super rude. And when you
- 28:41Speaker 6: don't realize this, you've got me in a conversation where
- 28:43Speaker 6: I am absolutely livid right now.
- 28:46Speaker 2: I hung up on him, ma'am. I hung up on him.
- 28:48Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 28:49Speaker 5: I'm sorry, but.
- 28:50Speaker 2: Well, I mean, the guy is... What is wrong with
- 28:52Speaker 2: this guy? I mean, every time I see... What? Get
- 28:57Speaker 2: rid of him!
- 28:58Speaker 6: And I guess I missed the part of the conversation
- 29:01Speaker 6: where he had something to do with Arnold Schwarzenegger.
- 29:03Speaker 2: No, he has written letters to the campaign advising them.
- 29:07Speaker 2: I doubt seriously whether they would take him... seriously.
- 29:10Speaker 6: It's all in his dreams type thing.
- 29:12Speaker 2: Probably i mean years ago would you hang up on
- 29:16Speaker 2: that guy all right thank you very much louise you're
- 29:22Speaker 2: welcome bye-bye chris norton was is with me you've been
- 29:25Speaker 2: advising the schwarzenegger you've been writing letters to the schwarzenegger
- 29:27Speaker 2: campaign about this matter of him groping women.
- 29:32Speaker 6: Mr.
- 29:32Speaker 3: Henry, I think the bottom line of what we've been
- 29:34Speaker 3: talking about is simply this. Until men and women can
- 29:37Speaker 3: get to a point where they can go to the
- 29:39Speaker 3: bathroom in front of me. each other, we're not going
- 29:41Speaker 3: to make the breakthroughs that the Europeans have made, that
- 29:44Speaker 3: the French have made, that the Germans have made. Okay?
- 29:48Speaker 3: And when I talk about Mr. Schwarzenegger groping women or
- 29:52Speaker 3: women getting angry, what I'm hoping this leads to is
- 29:56Speaker 3: eventually a beautiful day in the future where when we
- 29:59Speaker 3: have so transcended our sexual roles that we can go
- 30:03Speaker 3: to the bathroom in front of each other. And I
- 30:06Speaker 3: think the key to.
- 30:07Speaker 2: So have you been talking to the Schwarzenegger campaign about this?
- 30:10Speaker 3: Yes, sir, I have, yeah. We have tried to get
- 30:13Speaker 3: them to put this into their campaign. Because the key
- 30:17Speaker 3: to true intimacy is if couples would allow each other
- 30:19Speaker 3: to watch each other's, you know, watch their chocolate train
- 30:23Speaker 3: pull into the station.
- 30:24Speaker 2: Okay, all right, look it, look it, look it, look it.
- 30:25Speaker 2: Let's be adults or not at all.
- 30:29Speaker 5: What?
- 30:29Speaker 3: I'm just.
- 30:29Speaker 2: Let's be adults or not at all.
- 30:32Speaker 3: Okay.
- 30:32Speaker 2: Huh?
- 30:33Speaker 3: Okay.
- 30:35Speaker 2: I can't hear you.
- 30:35Speaker 3: I said okay.
- 30:39Speaker 2: Here's Krista. Krista, go ahead.
- 30:41Speaker 4: Hello?
- 30:42Speaker 3: Hi, ma'am.
- 30:42Speaker 2: Go ahead. You're on The Phil Hendricks Show.
- 30:43Speaker 1: Okay.
- 30:45Speaker 7: Phil, I just was on my way home from work,
- 30:48Speaker 7: and I just couldn't help myself to call in because
- 30:52Speaker 7: I have met many individuals being in sales, many men
- 30:57Speaker 7: in my entire life. I have never anybody met who
- 31:03Speaker 7: is so disrespectful towards women, ignorant, and not only that,
- 31:09Speaker 7: irresponsible on top of it, than this individual you have
- 31:13Speaker 7: on the line.
- 31:14Speaker 3: Do you think that Hitler was irresponsible?
- 31:17Speaker 7: If he belongs to the Schwarzenegger campaign, and I hope
- 31:21Speaker 7: he doesn't, then, I mean, I hope that no woman...
- 31:25Speaker 7: in North America will ever vote for this guy, because
- 31:29Speaker 7: if that represents what Schwarzenegger thinks about women, God, Lord,
- 31:35Speaker 7: help us. This is just incredible. Something so ignorant, not
- 31:40Speaker 7: only that, downright stupid. It would be much better for him.
- 31:44Speaker 7: If you think that you have Schwarzenegger, you are very
- 31:47Speaker 7: much mistaken, sir. I can tell you that.
- 31:50Speaker 2: Let me, Krista, let me interrupt you. Let me interrupt you.
- 31:53Speaker 3: You are an.
- 31:53Speaker 7: Uneducated, low-down, stupid individual who has no clue what he's
- 32:00Speaker 7: basically talking about.
- 32:01Speaker 3: Is this Arianna Huffington?
- 32:03Speaker 2: All right, you got your line in.
- 32:04Speaker 7: You get some education before you really speak so dumb.
- 32:08Speaker 5: Honey, there's nothing like saying to a woman.
- 32:12Speaker 3: Hey, baby, I just laid some pipe. Right?
- 32:14Speaker 7: You're insulting and ignorant. I didn't hear that. And that's
- 32:18Speaker 7: what it is, and that is all I have to say.
- 32:21Speaker 3: Yeah, well, I tell you what, Megan.
- 32:22Speaker 2: All right, I'll just... Thanks very much, Krista. That was good. And, uh.
- 32:28Speaker 3: Okay.
- 32:29Speaker 2: All right.
