- 1:01Speaker 1: the stupidity of which we have a ton on tap
- 1:04Speaker 1: for today, quick little housekeeping number one. Speaking of watching
- 1:09Speaker 1: the show, I don't do this enough and Trey Trey
- 1:12Speaker 1: called me out on it the other day and we
- 1:14Speaker 1: were in the car together and he's like, Dan as
- 1:17Speaker 1: he grabbed my thigh while driving, which is completely unsafe,
- 1:21Speaker 1: but he did it, but it was important so he
- 1:24Speaker 1: could impart how important the message was. And I like
- 1:30Speaker 1: to think that he grabbed my thigh to grab my attention,
- 1:34Speaker 1: And now that I think back on it, I think
- 1:36Speaker 1: it was just the fact that he had turned fifty
- 1:38Speaker 1: and he's exploring new things with his body. Anyway, Trey
- 1:43Speaker 1: brought up, hey, you need to mention the YouTube channel
- 1:45Speaker 1: more and I said, got it, we'll do. And why
- 1:49Speaker 1: is your head moving higher up my thigh? Felt like
- 1:52Speaker 1: a scene out.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Of Then I said, like, rate and subscribe. You know,
- 1:55Speaker 2: as I was getting.
- 1:57Speaker 1: That's what happens as Trey's hand moves closer to my grown.
- 2:00Speaker 1: That's the light. Great, subscribe, subscribe right there. Yeah. Anyway,
- 2:05Speaker 1: so it felt like it felt like a brief moment
- 2:08Speaker 1: out of the that Pull and Wolverine movie before all
- 2:12Speaker 1: the stabbing. Anyway, so be sure to check out our
- 2:14Speaker 1: YouTube channel. You can subscribe to our YouTube channel. We
- 2:18Speaker 1: have a few different things there, which is mainly visual.

- 2:32Speaker 1: to do. We have a surplus of not just tree
- 2:38Speaker 1: House merchandise, but specific tree House merchandise, and that is
- 2:45Speaker 1: the Saint Tulsa line of Treehouse merchandise, which includes the

- 3:17Speaker 1: Hang on, I gotta pull up the prices. You're gonna
- 3:19Speaker 1: ask me specifics.
- 3:21Speaker 3: Just so people when they should your email have something
- 3:24Speaker 3: like they don't have to expect like emails going back
- 3:26Speaker 3: and forth.
- 3:26Speaker 1: They can like, well they can.
- 3:28Speaker 2: You can.
- 3:28Speaker 1: You can check our social media because I posted the
- 3:30Speaker 1: price list on Instagram and Facebook. T shirts are twenty five,
- 3:35Speaker 1: hats are thirty five, koozies are six, and stickers are

- 3:49Speaker 1: two stickers each order. But if you want a bunch
- 3:51Speaker 1: of stickers, then we'll add that to the total and
- 3:56Speaker 1: a portion of the proceeds benefit or benefits the listeners. Fine,
- 4:00Speaker 1: So there you go Treehouse on Air at gmail dot
- 4:03Speaker 1: com for merch orders and we'll get those sent out asap.
- 4:09Speaker 1: It's going to me close that Facebook post and pull
- 4:11Speaker 1: up a different one because while we do have many
- 4:14Speaker 1: important things to cover today, not the least of which
- 4:17Speaker 1: are birthdays. Because it is Friday, today is one of
- 4:21Speaker 1: those days we are not doing birthdays first, but we
- 4:25Speaker 1: will also cover today another biohazard on a plane. I've
- 4:32Speaker 1: noticed that within the show there seem to be two
- 4:34Speaker 1: running topics that we will jump on every chance we get.
- 4:38Speaker 1: One is aliens and two is biohazards on planes. We
- 4:44Speaker 1: can't help ourselves. We're just knee deep in it. Like
- 4:49Speaker 1: to dive in and swim around. So that'll be happening today.
- 4:54Speaker 1: Also curious what your Olympics watching habits have been over
- 5:00Speaker 1: the last week. But first today, I need to ask
- 5:07Speaker 1: a question of you guys that I meant to ask
- 5:09Speaker 1: at the pull party last week, but I didn't get
- 5:11Speaker 1: a chance because we got distracted by so many things,
- 5:14Speaker 1: not the least of which was Diego bringing uh Rajen
- 5:17Speaker 1: myself quadruple shots of things. Jesus Christ. That man doesn't
- 5:23Speaker 1: take no for an answer.
- 5:24Speaker 3: Yeah, he was getting.
- 5:26Speaker 2: I don't recall y'all saying no, I believe Trey.
- 5:31Speaker 1: I then after after it came over, I just slid
- 5:37Speaker 1: it towards Raj.
- 5:39Speaker 3: I did say no. He was like, you ordered Yeager, right,
- 5:41Speaker 3: and I was like, no, whiskey, So I technically did say.
- 5:47Speaker 1: No, you did, Yeah he did. I was. I was
- 5:49Speaker 1: sitting next to him for that, so that's I don't.
- 5:52Speaker 3: Know why he thought I drank Yeager. I was like,
- 5:53Speaker 3: I don't know why I gave you that impression ever,
- 5:55Speaker 3: because I don't know. That is not something I can handle.
- 5:59Speaker 1: No, most people can't, and honestly no one should, unless,
- 6:04Speaker 1: of course, Jaeger would like to sponsor the show, in
- 6:06Speaker 1: which case we'll have a cold on tap in the corner.
- 6:09Speaker 3: Oh yeah, i'd be that'd be Is that better cold?
- 6:12Speaker 3: I don't know it. Is that how you're supposed to
- 6:14Speaker 3: drink it?
- 6:15Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 6:16Speaker 2: Most people say it's better cold.
- 6:18Speaker 3: Okay, gotcha.
- 6:20Speaker 1: I don't know anyone though, that's ever actually poured it
- 6:23Speaker 1: over ice, So I don't know if anyone does Jaeger
- 6:25Speaker 1: on the rocks. They just get it off the cold tap.
- 6:28Speaker 3: Wow. Yeah, I've never seen that would be like I might,
- 6:33Speaker 3: I might go. The next time I'm going to a bar,
- 6:35Speaker 3: I'm gonna order Jaeger on Jeger Rocks.
- 6:38Speaker 1: And I do think there's Yeah, I do think there's
- 6:41Speaker 1: a marketing opportunity for Jaeger because they already have the
- 6:46Speaker 1: cold tap that they will give to a bar, so
- 6:48Speaker 1: they can put the Yaeger on tap and it comes
- 6:50Speaker 1: to nice and cold. I think what they should do
- 6:53Speaker 1: is take a page out of the Christmas Vacation playbook,
- 6:56Speaker 1: because isn't the deer with the antlers part of their
- 6:59Speaker 1: logos their mass scott for yegermeister.
- 7:01Speaker 3: Yeah, they need to have hunter.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Yeah, they need to have the deer with the antler
- 7:07Speaker 1: shaped shot glasses, kind of like the eggnog mugs in
- 7:11Speaker 1: Christmas Vacation.
- 7:14Speaker 3: See I would laugh there, but I've never seen it,
- 7:16Speaker 3: so and Trade didn't laugh at that part.
- 7:19Speaker 2: So they have shot glasses with the deer and antler
- 7:22Speaker 2: on there.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not talking about it.
- 7:25Speaker 2: You were going to make the tap the deer like
- 7:28Speaker 2: come out of the deer's mouth and you just pull
- 7:30Speaker 2: the antlers.
- 7:31Speaker 3: Oh that's good. Yeah, see dare you?
- 7:34Speaker 1: How dare you one up me? That's brilliant. I want
- 7:39Speaker 1: that in my house. And I don't even drink Yeger,
- 7:43Speaker 1: which actually makes sense because then then it looks like
- 7:45Speaker 1: the deer had too much Jaeger it's throwing it up
- 7:49Speaker 1: into your glass.
- 7:53Speaker 2: You have too much yegger.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Then got on a plane, which we will get to
- 7:59Speaker 1: here is just the little bit. So first things first,
- 8:02Speaker 1: the question I meant to ask you guys last week
- 8:04Speaker 1: at the Treehouse pool party is this, And I posted
- 8:07Speaker 1: this on our social media on Instagram and Facebook. What
- 8:12Speaker 1: is the greatest pool scene of all time? The greatest
- 8:16Speaker 1: swimming pool scene of all time? And if you have
- 8:18Speaker 1: a hard time coming up with one off the top
- 8:20Speaker 1: of your head. I posted six suggestions just to get
- 8:24Speaker 1: people thinking about it, and they're of the six five
- 8:29Speaker 1: are probably the ones that I think of first when
- 8:34Speaker 1: it comes to great pool scenes of all time. And
- 8:36Speaker 1: then the sixth is just absolutely insane, which I'll share
- 8:41Speaker 1: with you here momentarily. So off the top of your head,
- 8:43Speaker 1: or do you want me to give you the options
- 8:45Speaker 1: for the greatest pool scene of all time?
- 8:48Speaker 3: Who is starting with?
- 8:51Speaker 1: Let's start with Trey, because Raj, I know you haven't
- 8:53Speaker 1: seen as many movies as the rest of us.
- 8:56Speaker 2: I mean, there are two that automatically come to mind,
- 8:58Speaker 2: uh huh of Fast Times at Richmond High.
- 9:01Speaker 1: That is the that is number four on the list
- 9:05Speaker 1: of options that I posted on Instagram and Caddy Shack
- 9:09Speaker 1: and that is number three and those are two very
- 9:13Speaker 1: solid options. No pun there with the Caddy Shack one, RAJ,
- 9:18Speaker 1: what about you?
- 9:18Speaker 3: I was going to say Fast Times at Richiemont High.
- 9:21Speaker 1: Phoebe Kate's getting out of the pool in the middle
- 9:23Speaker 1: of Judge Ryan Holds Fantasy.
- 9:25Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that's a good one.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Vacation would be another one, Christy Christy Brinkley in the pool,
- 9:31Speaker 1: So the first vacation because I didn't I was this
- 9:34Speaker 1: close to posting the vacation movies because there's two. One
- 9:40Speaker 1: is the one you're talking about in the first one
- 9:42Speaker 1: where Christy Brinkley's trying to convince Clark to jump in
- 9:44Speaker 1: the pool and then when he strips down and he does,
- 9:47Speaker 1: it's super cold and he wakes up the entire motel.
- 9:51Speaker 1: But the other was in Christmas Vacation because he's fantasizing
- 9:53Speaker 1: about the department store girl on the diving board and
- 9:58Speaker 1: at first it was cousin Eddie, So that was tempted
- 9:59Speaker 1: to put in there. But those just missed my top
- 10:02Speaker 1: six and that that hurt to leave those out.
- 10:05Speaker 3: Wasn't there a good one in swim Fan that was
- 10:09Speaker 3: that on the list.
- 10:09Speaker 1: I would imagine I didn't put that on the list
- 10:11Speaker 1: partly because of bias. I haven't seen it. I also
- 10:16Speaker 1: feel like that would be too easy in a like
- 10:19Speaker 1: to say, oh, the best pool scene of all time
- 10:21Speaker 1: in a movie called swim Fan. It just sounds too obvious.
- 10:23Speaker 3: Gotcha, But I thought there was a pretty good one.
- 10:26Speaker 3: That's when she turns into the stalker let she Be
- 10:29Speaker 3: comes in the movie. Gotcha.
- 10:31Speaker 1: Yeah, So that's why this is controversial. There's lots of
- 10:35Speaker 1: great pool scenes of all time. So I'm now going
- 10:37Speaker 1: to share with you the top six that that I
- 10:41Speaker 1: came up with for our post, which again I was
- 10:45Speaker 1: supposed to bring up at the pool party, but that's okay.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Number one. Wild Things, Oh yeah, Nev Campbell, Denise Richards
- 10:54Speaker 1: and Wild Things for is jacked up of what is
- 10:59Speaker 1: probably a tear movie. It had two pool scenes, one
- 11:03Speaker 1: of just Denise Richards walking around the pool, getting in
- 11:05Speaker 1: the pool, getting out of the pool, and then the
- 11:07Speaker 1: other one was later onto the movie with one of
- 11:09Speaker 1: the multiple twists, and that was Ned Campbell and Denise
- 11:14Speaker 1: Richards making out before they jump in bed with Matt Dillon.
- 11:18Speaker 1: And that movie, by the way, you also see if
- 11:20Speaker 1: you ever wanted to Kevin Bacon's Wiener. Thankfully that was
- 11:24Speaker 1: not in the pool. That was a shower.
- 11:30Speaker 3: Okay, I've seen the movie. I don't recall. Maybe I've
- 11:34Speaker 3: blocked it out in a therapy session. It will come out.
- 11:37Speaker 3: I saw Kevin Bacon's Winner.
- 11:40Speaker 1: That's exactly how it's gonna come out. Yeah, it was
- 11:44Speaker 1: near the end of the movie.
- 11:46Speaker 3: Okay.
- 11:48Speaker 1: Number two best pool scenes of all time from the
- 11:52Speaker 1: Sandlots Quints and Wendy Peppercorn where he pretends to drown
- 11:56Speaker 1: and gets CPR done on him and then he sticks
- 11:59Speaker 1: his tongue in her mouth and what many in the
- 12:00Speaker 1: twenty first century have called assault. Roger, you've ever seen
- 12:06Speaker 1: the same lot?
- 12:07Speaker 3: I have?
- 12:08Speaker 4: Not?
- 12:09Speaker 1: That gives you the idea right there. Number three is
- 12:12Speaker 1: caddy check and this was a struggle because, let's be honest,
- 12:18Speaker 1: the fifteen minutes that the caddies had to spend in
- 12:21Speaker 1: and around the pool at Bushwood Country Club, they accomplished
- 12:25Speaker 1: a lot. Not only did you get the duty bar
- 12:31Speaker 1: in the pool, which you know, effectively ended the pool
- 12:34Speaker 1: time for the caddies, So they actually did all this
- 12:36Speaker 1: stuff in less than fifteen minutes. They had the candy bar,
- 12:39Speaker 1: they had the synchronized swimming happening. You had the Lacy
- 12:46Speaker 1: what's her name doing the dive off the pool. You
- 12:48Speaker 1: had people sunbathing, chicken fights in the pool. I mean, really,
- 12:53Speaker 1: has there ever been a better use of fifteen minutes
- 12:55Speaker 1: than the caddies in Caddyshack?
- 12:58Speaker 3: No, that was very that was very efficient. They I'm
- 13:01Speaker 3: sure there was a lot of planning in place, like, hey,
- 13:03Speaker 3: when we get when we get in the pool, everybody go.
- 13:08Speaker 3: And then the baby Ruth Varna that was a classic scene.
- 13:11Speaker 3: So yeah, and.
- 13:13Speaker 1: Then of course Bill Murray after he empties the pool
- 13:15Speaker 1: eating it number four fast times at Ridgemont High, Phoebe
- 13:21Speaker 1: Kate's popping out of the pool, nearing Judge Reinhold's fantasy
- 13:24Speaker 1: as he's painting it in the bathroom, And to be honest,
- 13:28Speaker 1: I put it in the post and I think it's
- 13:30Speaker 1: worth saying here, have we ever come of age so hard?
- 13:37Speaker 1: And then number five from Back to School the greatest
- 13:40Speaker 1: dive of all time, Rodney Dangerfield performing the Triple Lindy,
- 13:45Speaker 1: And I wondered, has anyone ever actually attempted the Triple
- 13:48Speaker 1: Lindy in real life?
- 13:49Speaker 3: And survived, we wouldn't know that guy's name either way.
- 13:58Speaker 1: You know what, You're right, because we know Rodney Daingerfield
- 14:00Speaker 1: in the movie because of the dive, and that was fiction. Yeah,
- 14:04Speaker 1: so if someone did it in real life, absolutely we
- 14:07Speaker 1: would all know that person's name.
- 14:09Speaker 3: Yeah, good or bad, like how he successfully performed the
- 14:13Speaker 3: triple in the or if he failed on the first board.
- 14:18Speaker 1: I don't think you get credit if you fail on
- 14:19Speaker 1: the first one, because you see it's you go from
- 14:22Speaker 1: the high dive, which is the solid down to a
- 14:26Speaker 1: springboard and then up and over to a springboard next
- 14:29Speaker 1: to that, then down another level to another springboard, and
- 14:33Speaker 1: then diving into the water and you're doing twists and
- 14:35Speaker 1: flips and summersaults, or at least Rodney Dangerfield stunt double
- 14:39Speaker 1: was in between.
- 14:43Speaker 3: How did you get that job? I need you to
- 14:45Speaker 3: be Rodney Danderfield stunt double, like I'm already old.
- 14:49Speaker 1: Well, that's the beauty of the movie is they didn't
- 14:52Speaker 1: even try to hide it. Like there's one scene where
- 14:54Speaker 1: you get like a medium shot of him doing a
- 14:56Speaker 1: summersault from one board to the other, and it's so
- 15:00Speaker 1: obvious that it's just a dude in a wig that
- 15:02Speaker 1: looks kind of like Rodney Dangerfields because you can't be
- 15:06Speaker 1: out of shape and do those twists and turns and flips.
- 15:10Speaker 1: So it's just a dude who's been really good shape.
- 15:12Speaker 1: We're in a Rodney dangerfield wig the bouncing around, so
- 15:16Speaker 1: it really looks like a B movie shot using like
- 15:19Speaker 1: a crash test dummy throwing around.
- 15:22Speaker 3: Okay, now I have to go back and watch that
- 15:24Speaker 3: you do.
- 15:25Speaker 1: Yeah, and speaking of things, you need to go back
- 15:27Speaker 1: and watch or watch if you've never seen it. Number
- 15:29Speaker 1: six on the what's the greatest pool scene of all time?
- 15:33Speaker 1: Show Girls? Mm hmm, raj, have you seen Showgirls?
- 15:38Speaker 3: Unfortunately?
- 15:39Speaker 1: Yes, Trey, have you seen Showgirls? Yes? Okay, I'm going
- 15:43Speaker 1: to ask you, guys the question that I asked in
- 15:45Speaker 1: the post, because it's a weird scene because it was
- 15:49Speaker 1: meant to be sexy and instead it came out stupid.
- 15:54Speaker 2: Not pretty much the synopsis of that whole movie.
- 15:59Speaker 1: Yeah, actually a pretty fair assessment. That's probably one of
- 16:02Speaker 1: the quotes on Rotten Tomatoes. So I'm going to ask
- 16:06Speaker 1: you the question that I posed about show Girls. Have
- 16:10Speaker 1: you ever been having sex in a pool and thought,
- 16:12Speaker 1: I bet she's into drowning because that's what the sex
- 16:18Speaker 1: looks like. And just to make sure that I'm not crazy,
- 16:22Speaker 1: I want you guys to witness again since you've seen
- 16:26Speaker 1: it before, the whoopee scene, the quote unquote hot sex
- 16:35Speaker 1: scene in Showgirls, and you tell me if this is
- 16:39Speaker 1: something that you would deem as sexy. Okay, So here
- 16:44Speaker 1: we go, oh, by the way, and this is after that.
- 16:48Speaker 1: They after they've made out and he's poured champagne all
- 16:52Speaker 1: down her body. Now they're in the pool. I'm about
- 16:54Speaker 1: to get it off. So she's writhing around on him
- 17:03Speaker 1: in the pool, yep, getting faster and faster and faster.
- 17:07Speaker 1: You notice the fountain there. Yeah, so the faster she gets,
- 17:12Speaker 1: I guess in the storyline, the thinking in Kyle McLoughlin's
- 17:16Speaker 1: character's name is this seems to be going pretty well.
- 17:20Speaker 1: So I wonder if she's into waterboarding because he sees
- 17:25Speaker 1: the fountain and then he puts her face underneath it,
- 17:28Speaker 1: and that it really does look like if someone happened
- 17:30Speaker 1: upon this, like the cleaning lady, was to walk out,
- 17:33Speaker 1: she would think he's drowning her. There she goes head
- 17:37Speaker 1: back and crowner.
- 17:44Speaker 3: Yeah, that looks like attempted murder.
- 17:47Speaker 1: I mean, doesn't look like she's being electrocuted.
- 17:54Speaker 3: It's like the thought process in every guy's mind, right, like, hey,
- 17:58Speaker 3: this has worked before in some girl like it, so
- 18:01Speaker 3: maybe they all did.
- 18:02Speaker 1: No, that's what it is. It's not that it worked
- 18:04Speaker 1: before and some girl liked it. What it is is
- 18:07Speaker 1: that he saw it online and assumed that the person
- 18:12Speaker 1: in real life would enjoy this.
- 18:14Speaker 3: Yeah, this is a this is a tragic movie.
- 18:24Speaker 1: She's almost dead, and yeah, she's dead. Yeahs and did
- 18:30Speaker 1: for goodnessure he wraps his hand around her throat just.
- 18:32Speaker 3: A bit, just to make sure he's just gonna her see.
- 18:36Speaker 1: I wonder if that was actually, uh accidentally left in
- 18:41Speaker 1: the movie, because maybe Kyle McLoughlin was actually concerned for
- 18:46Speaker 1: Elizabeth Berkeley uh and was checking her pulse to make
- 18:49Speaker 1: sure he hadn't actually drowned her.
- 18:52Speaker 3: No.
- 18:52Speaker 2: I think he thinkured. Your acting is so bad. I
- 18:54Speaker 2: just need to put you out of your misery.
- 18:59Speaker 1: I to single handedly make sure we don't get a sequel.
- 19:07Speaker 3: You're in the tree House.
- 19:09Speaker 5: Visit us online at treehouseonair dot com.

- 19:40Speaker 1: Then we recently talked about the Country Bear Jamboree at
- 19:44Speaker 1: Disney and how they had to change the name from
- 19:47Speaker 1: Liver Lips mcgrawl to Romeo because it didn't want to
- 19:50Speaker 1: offend alcoholics, not that they'd be in the right mind
- 19:53Speaker 1: to be offended anyway, but they did it, and then
- 19:55Speaker 1: we talked about it, and then the very next day
- 19:57Speaker 1: the damn thing catches on fire. So I'm going to
- 20:02Speaker 1: see if we can actually do this intentionally. Would you

- 21:53Speaker 1: all right, then I've completely misread your face. It's fine
- 22:00Speaker 1: because then that excuse us. Time to before we get
- 22:03Speaker 1: into the biohazard on a plane. Since it is Fred Day,
- 22:07Speaker 1: we havety birthdays. Today is Fred Day, August second, twenty
- 22:14Speaker 1: twenty four birthdays today. Haley Eisenberg turns thirty two. She's
- 22:21Speaker 1: the adorable little girl from the Pepsi commercials back in
- 22:24Speaker 1: the day with the dark, curly hair. She was also
- 22:28Speaker 1: in the Robin Williams Robot movie by Centennial Man. And
- 22:31Speaker 1: if the last name sounds familiar Eisenberg, it is because
- 22:34Speaker 1: she is, in fact, actor Jesse Eisenberg's sister.
- 22:38Speaker 3: Oh that's very cool, all right, yep.
- 22:41Speaker 1: Edward Furlong who was a cute child star and kind
- 22:45Speaker 1: of cute into his adolescent years and then just really
- 22:50Speaker 1: fell face first into a gutter trap. He is forty
- 22:54Speaker 1: seven today, best known as John Connor and Terminator two.
- 22:59Speaker 1: He also reprise the role in Terminator Dark Fate Sam
- 23:03Speaker 1: Worthington from the Avatar movies. He is forty eighty. Tin
- 23:12Speaker 1: de Barrett. It's from the Netflix show Bloodline. She started
- 23:16Speaker 1: off as a cast member on Real World London. It's
- 23:19Speaker 1: interesting to see how twenty thirty years later some of
- 23:22Speaker 1: the Real World cast members have actually gone on to
- 23:25Speaker 1: do some fairly impressive things. And when I say that
- 23:27Speaker 1: there's only like a handful of him, Roger, you don't.
- 23:30Speaker 3: Think so which one?
- 23:34Speaker 1: So just de Barrett went on to become an actress.
- 23:36Speaker 1: She's been in more stuff than I just mentioned. I
- 23:37Speaker 1: think she was.
- 23:40Speaker 3: Also model once she got the show.
- 23:42Speaker 1: Yeah, so, I mean it wasn't a huge surprise from
- 23:46Speaker 1: the Boston, was it from Real World Boston? Also Sean Duffy,
- 23:52Speaker 1: he's the one that you see on Fox News and
- 23:54Speaker 1: News Max a lot because he's now an elected official.
- 23:56Speaker 1: He is a Congressman, Sean Duffy, or at least he was,
- 23:59Speaker 1: I'm sure if he still is. And his wife is
- 24:02Speaker 1: tough also from MTV, remember me, not tough, but Rachel.
- 24:09Speaker 1: I think it was Rachel Duffy. His wife was also
- 24:11Speaker 1: on Real World and now so she does interviews and
- 24:15Speaker 1: things I think on Fox on Fox Jams and kids. Yes, yeah,
- 24:21Speaker 1: they they do not believe in any sort of Earth
- 24:25Speaker 1: control whatsoever. And also probably at this point I never
- 24:30Speaker 1: would have thought it, but one of the most successful
- 24:32Speaker 1: Real World alum, Theo Vonn from Real World road Rules,
- 24:39Speaker 1: has one of the not only is he a very
- 24:41Speaker 1: successful touring comedian, but he has one of the biggest
- 24:44Speaker 1: podcast slash YouTube shows and all the land.
- 24:47Speaker 3: He was always one of my at the laugh after
- 24:49Speaker 3: one of my favorites to bring up on stage because
- 24:52Speaker 3: his outro for you for Me every time was just
- 24:57Speaker 3: the It was just hilarious. And he's like, I would
- 25:00Speaker 3: be like, please, please welcome THEO on and he's like,
- 25:02Speaker 3: give it a for that handsome man, that handsome dark
- 25:05Speaker 3: chocolate man. And he just would keep going and I'm like, okay,
- 25:08Speaker 3: that's and it's just I can't even do it justice
- 25:11Speaker 3: he was. And then he would just sit on the
- 25:13Speaker 3: stools because he'll look at his watch and it would
- 25:16Speaker 3: wait to die and he goes a falcon just died,
- 25:21Speaker 3: and were like, what is like, I have an app
- 25:23Speaker 3: on a watch that tells me when falcons die. And
- 25:25Speaker 3: I was like, Okay, this is gonna be the greatest set.
- 25:26Speaker 1: I've ever seen.
- 25:28Speaker 3: And uh, I didn't know this because I asked him.
- 25:30Speaker 3: He was a comic before he got So everybody's like, oh,
- 25:33Speaker 3: he got into stand up beforehand. He was doing stand
- 25:36Speaker 3: up when he got the show, so he put his
- 25:39Speaker 3: stand up career on hold but locally to do the show.
- 25:44Speaker 3: So yeah, that's yeah, I forgot. There was one guy
- 25:48Speaker 3: the Blank in that same season, the black guy from
- 25:51Speaker 3: Road Rules A Real World. He is an investment guy
- 25:55Speaker 3: in Irving because we would work out at the same
- 25:58Speaker 3: twenty four hour fitness Oh yeah, so he's a worker.
- 26:02Speaker 1: The people you work out whe are way better than mine.
- 26:05Speaker 1: Like when I was when I was living in Dallas
- 26:07Speaker 1: and working out at the La Fitness I got. I
- 26:09Speaker 1: got a retired Quincy Carter.
- 26:13Speaker 3: My nightclub is the one that retired him.
- 26:16Speaker 1: It's amazing how things come full circle, isn't it.
- 26:21Speaker 3: Yeah, so I guess a couple of because he's a
- 26:23Speaker 3: very successful investment guy. Uh I can't remember his name,
- 26:26Speaker 3: but yeah, that's pretty okay. So maybe I was wrong.
- 26:28Speaker 3: I just kept thinking that the guy who everybody went
- 26:30Speaker 3: to was that.
- 26:30Speaker 1: Eric n Y.
- 26:33Speaker 3: Yeah, like he had the workout videos, exercise videos. Yeah.
- 26:39Speaker 1: Yeah, he wasn't quite Tibo level, but he did fine.
- 26:42Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 26:43Speaker 2: I think Puck had a line of bikes for a
- 26:44Speaker 2: little bit. Yeah, and then that that's about where I
- 26:49Speaker 2: I like that encompasses the first two seasons of the
- 26:52Speaker 2: Real World, and that's where.
- 26:53Speaker 3: I want to know what happened to the cowboy? Remember
- 26:56Speaker 3: there was like John Oh, that's I don't know why.
- 26:59Speaker 1: I remember him because he looked like one of my
- 27:01Speaker 1: sister's boyfriends in high school.
- 27:03Speaker 3: Okay, I wonder whatever happened to that guy?
- 27:05Speaker 2: I think he was because you know, they did that
- 27:07Speaker 2: reunion special like with the original Real World cast like
- 27:13Speaker 2: five six years ago, and I don't think any of
- 27:17Speaker 2: them had faired that well.
- 27:18Speaker 1: Okay, well not can use that platform for betterment.
- 27:24Speaker 3: I mean, he could have had a line of cowboy
- 27:25Speaker 3: hats or line dancing videos. Like there was a there
- 27:28Speaker 3: was a moment, there was an opportunity for him. I
- 27:30Speaker 3: just don't think he capitalized on it. Like, wasn't he
- 27:32Speaker 3: supposed to be like the virgin cowboy guy?
- 27:35Speaker 1: And oh he got that, that was what he claimed.
- 27:37Speaker 1: He's like, I'm a virgin and I'm a country singer
- 27:39Speaker 1: trying to make it in La.
- 27:41Speaker 3: Yeah, that's right he was.
- 27:42Speaker 1: And not only not only was he seeing black people
- 27:44Speaker 1: on equal footing for the first time, in his life
- 27:46Speaker 1: from where he was from, but he was also living
- 27:49Speaker 1: with them. Tell me I'm wrong. That's exactly how it
- 27:55Speaker 1: was portrayed on that season.
- 27:56Speaker 3: Yeah, that's uh okay, I gotta go look up whatever
- 28:00Speaker 3: happened to John the Cowboy. Just for my own benefit,
- 28:03Speaker 3: I just gotta laugh at that.
- 28:07Speaker 1: All right, that's birthdays for today. Now we need to
- 28:10Speaker 1: jump into the most important story of the day, and
- 28:13Speaker 1: that is yet another bio hazard has diverted a flight
- 28:17Speaker 1: in the United States. This is what the second one
- 28:23Speaker 1: this year.
- 28:25Speaker 2: Evidently there have been more than that, but this is
- 28:27Speaker 2: the second one with audio.
- 28:31Speaker 1: Which is the reason why it gets inside the treehouse.
- 28:35Speaker 1: So let me set the stage for you. Yet another
- 28:38Speaker 1: biohazard has occurred in the air. A biohazard on a
- 28:43Speaker 1: United Airlines flight is the latest midair incident to trigger
- 28:47Speaker 1: an unplanned early landing of a commercial plane. You know
- 28:52Speaker 1: how they say when you're on a plane, when they
- 28:55Speaker 1: bring out the life vest and they say, in the
- 28:58Speaker 1: unlikely event of a water landing, supposed to say, in
- 29:01Speaker 1: case we crash into the ocean or a lake.
- 29:03Speaker 2: You know.
- 29:04Speaker 1: Yeah, if they keep having these biohazards, they're gonna have
- 29:07Speaker 1: to add that into the safety training and have like
- 29:11Speaker 1: a suit or something that will pop down next to you, know,
- 29:15Speaker 1: your your air conditioning vent, and they're gonna have to say,
- 29:19Speaker 1: in the event of an unplanned biohazard spraying body suits
- 29:25Speaker 1: will pop down and you're supposed to secure yourself first
- 29:29Speaker 1: then the children.
- 29:32Speaker 3: Anyway, Spirit will charge you extra for that.
- 29:35Speaker 1: Yeah, no, that'll that'll be coin operated, or it'll be
- 29:40Speaker 1: the skiing swipe. Yeah, it'll be a swipe machine. You're
- 29:43Speaker 1: gonna have to it'll that'll be one hundred dollars easy.
- 29:47Speaker 1: United Airlines says one passenger's medical issue caused flight twenty
- 29:51Speaker 1: four to seventy seven to land in Virginia, where the
- 29:54Speaker 1: plane had to be deep cleaned flight aware. Flight Aware
- 30:01Speaker 1: shows the flight departing Houston on Sunday morning, then diverting
- 30:05Speaker 1: to Washington Dulles International Airport about two hours into the trip,
- 30:09Speaker 1: just enough time for all that food to get through
- 30:11Speaker 1: the system. The flight was bound for Boston Logan International Airport. However,
- 30:17Speaker 1: with this audio between the pilot and traffic air traffic
- 30:24Speaker 1: Control they decided that maybe it's better we don't finish
- 30:28Speaker 1: the flight all the way to Boston, but instead maybe
- 30:31Speaker 1: we should, you know, divert this.
- 30:33Speaker 9: Thing to the doctor. And I talked to the crew
- 30:38Speaker 9: and sounds like it's quite bad back there. It's still
- 30:41Speaker 9: really bad. The crew is vomite.
- 30:50Speaker 1: I've seen this scene and family guy, I don't like.
- 30:56Speaker 1: I understand that. You know, the flight crew, they go
- 30:59Speaker 1: through a lot of training for various things, and they
- 31:03Speaker 1: clearly need to, I guess, do a new course on biohazards,
- 31:11Speaker 1: because the last thing you want during your flight is
- 31:13Speaker 1: to have the flight crew looking or sounding or being
- 31:19Speaker 1: alarmed in such a fashion where they are also involved
- 31:22Speaker 1: in all the vomiting around the plane.
- 31:23Speaker 3: I just don't want to be the person that has
- 31:24Speaker 3: to write the booklet for the the Explosive Diarrhea Manual
- 31:29Speaker 3: for United. I don't ever want to get that credit.
- 31:33Speaker 3: It's like, oh man, that's the guy. That's the guy
- 31:35Speaker 3: who wrote it right there.
- 31:37Speaker 1: Also, what's that light look like when you when you
- 31:39Speaker 1: illuminate it? You got to hit the brown button?
- 31:50Speaker 3: Oh lord?
- 31:50Speaker 9: So okay, the crew is vomiting and passengers all around
- 31:58Speaker 9: are asking for bath parte, et cetera. And uh it
- 32:03Speaker 9: sounds like I think you know, twenty minute of light
- 32:06Speaker 9: to Cleveland is probably the better option instead of going
- 32:10Speaker 9: to an hour and forty to uh straight ahead the boss,
- 32:14Speaker 9: especially with it's kind of being a biohouse. Should I
- 32:16Speaker 9: think we need to probably get this plane on the ground.
- 32:18Speaker 1: A sap, Yeah, yeah, I think.
- 32:26Speaker 3: My only thought is like that every when you have
- 32:29Speaker 3: to dboard that plane and so so does that person
- 32:33Speaker 3: right right?
- 32:35Speaker 1: Do they get off first? Or do you stick them
- 32:37Speaker 1: in the back?
- 32:39Speaker 3: I don't know what that I don't I think that
- 32:41Speaker 3: you know that one one side door that nobody ever
- 32:44Speaker 3: there's no uh like nowhere to get out of.
- 32:47Speaker 1: Yeah, there's like the back exit. But then there's also
- 32:51Speaker 1: on the other side of the plane where they bring
- 32:53Speaker 1: on the food and stuff.
- 32:59Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I think you had done something that bad
- 33:02Speaker 2: you would just lock yourself in the bathroom, yeah.
- 33:06Speaker 1: And not and not ever come out.
- 33:07Speaker 3: Yeah, that's when they open that one side like that
- 33:10Speaker 3: not where the food comes in, but the other one
- 33:12Speaker 3: they should throw you down the slide and like you
- 33:14Speaker 3: walk home.
- 33:15Speaker 2: My god.
- 33:16Speaker 1: That's the other thing too, is they tell you it's
- 33:18Speaker 1: a water slide, but in reality.
- 33:32Speaker 7: You're listening to the tree House because of us online,
- 33:35Speaker 7: that Treehouse on air dot com.
- 33:39Speaker 1: That's the poop slide.
- 33:42Speaker 3: That's the poop shoot.
- 33:51Speaker 1: Let's get Jacqueline from Brooks Plumbing into the treehouse now
- 33:54Speaker 1: phone number two one four thirty six, eight thirty eight
- 33:56Speaker 1: thirty eight for any and all of those plumbing wants
- 33:58Speaker 1: and needs, and the website of course, Brooks Texas dot com.
- 34:01Speaker 8: Now.
- 34:01Speaker 1: Jacqueline is a dog lover, she's a horse lover, she's
- 34:04Speaker 1: a plumbing lover when it comes to the business world,
- 34:07Speaker 1: and she also loves to give back. What did you
- 34:11Speaker 1: do recently, Jacqueline to help out your community?
- 34:13Speaker 4: We filled a horse trailer because that's what we had
- 34:18Speaker 4: access to at the time, full of blankets, pillows, umbrellas, ponchos,
- 34:23Speaker 4: and towels and took them to the Dallas Veterans Resource
- 34:28Speaker 4: Center on Lancaster and donated to them. The Veterans Resource Center,
- 34:35Speaker 4: the VRC has a bunch of different kind of arms
- 34:38Speaker 4: of what it does, and one of the things that
- 34:40Speaker 4: it does is it has an outreach for homeless veterans
- 34:43Speaker 4: in the Dallas part of the metroplex. There's kind of
- 34:46Speaker 4: a similar facility in Terran County, but really cool. I
- 34:51Speaker 4: like that organization a lot. And it all started with
- 34:53Speaker 4: this guy his name is Kenneth, and Kenneth spent his
- 34:56Speaker 4: time as a retiree just volunteering to give rides to
- 35:00Speaker 4: physically disabled veterans from their homes to the VA for
- 35:03Speaker 4: their appointments. And it grew from Kenneth in a very
- 35:06Speaker 4: sketchy looking van to a whole facility that now offers
- 35:10Speaker 4: free of charge welding certificate training two veterans that are
- 35:15Speaker 4: struggling so they can go out and get a job.
- 35:17Speaker 4: So this facility feeds and has facilities for homeless veterans
- 35:22Speaker 4: to shower and come get things that they need, all
- 35:24Speaker 4: the way down to welding training, and they also have
- 35:28Speaker 4: for any veterans in the in the audience. It's very
- 35:30Speaker 4: hard to get a hold of the VA, and they
- 35:32Speaker 4: have full time employees that do nothing but bridge the
- 35:34Speaker 4: gap and help you get through to the right department
- 35:37Speaker 4: in the VA to get the benefits that you need.
- 35:39Speaker 4: So they're great advocates for veterans who are both struggling
- 35:43Speaker 4: and who just need help on the phone, because being
- 35:45Speaker 4: on hold at the VA makes you want to throw
- 35:47Speaker 4: your phone out of the window.
- 35:48Speaker 9: Just gone, I did it.
- 35:49Speaker 1: It's terrible. Suld not only make sure you're taken care of,
- 35:52Speaker 1: but her community as well. Give Brooks Plumbing a call
- 35:54Speaker 1: for any and all of those plumbing once and needs

- 36:24Speaker 1: four three six eight thirty eight thirty eight the website
- 36:26Speaker 1: Brooks Plumbing Texas dot com. Have you guys been watching
- 36:32Speaker 1: the Olympics?
- 36:33Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 36:34Speaker 1: What have you been watching?
- 36:37Speaker 3: I caught some of the equestrian stuff yesterday. I caught
- 36:41Speaker 3: some of the swimming stuff. The other day men's gymnastics.
- 36:47Speaker 3: I was watching that and what else. I accidentally turned
- 36:52Speaker 3: on fencing and then I very quickly turned it off.
- 36:56Speaker 3: One of my favorite uh I can't remember who, but
- 36:58Speaker 3: I know the other lady was that that were that
- 37:00Speaker 3: was fencing was Korean and she she scored a point.
- 37:04Speaker 3: And the lady that was commentating clearly from Europe and
- 37:08Speaker 3: doesn't understand that you can't say certain things in a
- 37:10Speaker 3: certain way and those uh, you can't let your guard
- 37:14Speaker 3: down around Korean Oh, they're they're they're very quick, they're
- 37:20Speaker 3: very fast. I was, okay, that's probably okay, that's I guess.
- 37:25Speaker 1: I guess there really is a fine line between judging
- 37:28Speaker 1: and interpreting athletic skill. Yeah, then certain teams because just
- 37:33Speaker 1: like baseball teams, football teams, different teams in those sports
- 37:38Speaker 1: have different identities, and I guess in the Olympics in fencing,
- 37:42Speaker 1: different teams have different identities. Maybe that's what it is.
- 37:45Speaker 1: I'm just trying to find a way where she doesn't
- 37:47Speaker 1: get canceled.
- 37:49Speaker 3: She's European, clearly very European, because she could have just said, uh,
- 37:54Speaker 3: you gotta be you gotta be found. You gotta be
- 37:56Speaker 3: more prepared for the Korean fencer in a situation like this,
- 38:00Speaker 3: because they're very fast and they are very skilled in
- 38:03Speaker 3: this certain maneuver or whatever. She's like, you can't let
- 38:05Speaker 3: your guard down. It just sounds like something your grandpa
- 38:07Speaker 3: would say. Can't let your guard down or run a
- 38:09Speaker 3: Korean You know you can't.
- 38:11Speaker 1: Actually, you're right, just just replace Korean with Japanese and
- 38:15Speaker 1: you've got my great uncle, yeah, or Bill Parcels actually.
- 38:25Speaker 3: Yeah so, but I caught some of that, and.
- 38:30Speaker 1: I know the women's gymnastics team once again nabbed gold
- 38:33Speaker 1: on the uh on the back of Simone Biles again. Trey,
- 38:37Speaker 1: what have you been watching any Olympics or are you
- 38:39Speaker 1: just like that?
- 38:40Speaker 2: I've watched some of it. I honestly, it's It's one
- 38:44Speaker 2: of those things. I love the Olympics, but I hate
- 38:45Speaker 2: the fact that when it's it's on a time difference
- 38:48Speaker 2: and you know the results, you have to even like
- 38:51Speaker 2: completely embargo yourself on social media, and you know, if
- 38:55Speaker 2: you're not watching it live, to watch it in the evening,
- 38:57Speaker 2: so you don't know what happened otherwise, you know all
- 38:59Speaker 2: the rest I have watched. I watched some of the
- 39:02Speaker 2: women's gymnastics, watch some of the swimming, you know, anything
- 39:07Speaker 2: that had Snoop Dogg in it.
- 39:09Speaker 1: Yep. That's been like a lot of the stuff lately
- 39:12Speaker 1: that I've been watching is instead of TV, I've been
- 39:14Speaker 1: watching social media clips of things, whether it's news stuff
- 39:19Speaker 1: like the like the presidential debate. I didn't watch it
- 39:21Speaker 1: in its entirety. I watched it through clips on social media.
- 39:25Speaker 1: Same thing so far with the Olympics. I've been watching
- 39:27Speaker 1: clips on social media for the most part.
- 39:29Speaker 5: And.
- 39:32Speaker 1: I absolutely thoroughly enjoyed Snoop Dogg's color commentary. And I
- 39:37Speaker 1: probably shouldn't say it that way, but what of badminton?
- 39:41Speaker 2: I mean, well that and he did a little thing
- 39:44Speaker 2: with Michael Phelps in the pool that was hilarious. His
- 39:47Speaker 2: deal with Kevin Hart, you know, Olympic highlights talking about
- 39:50Speaker 2: the horse crip walking that was priceless.
- 39:55Speaker 1: And it's really interesting how certain celebrities have adopted certain
- 40:00Speaker 1: Olympics teams. Right, So you've got Snoop Dogg is pretty
- 40:03Speaker 1: much everywhere because he's he's the special correspondent for NBC.
- 40:08Speaker 1: And I remember when they first announced that, My first
- 40:10Speaker 1: thought was what are you thinking? And then immediately followed
- 40:14Speaker 1: with you're a genius because they've used him brilliantly. But
- 40:18Speaker 1: he was really big on covering all the Olympic stuff.
- 40:21Speaker 1: But he got really big by covering the badminton, right,
- 40:24Speaker 1: doing the commentary on the badminton that one viral. But
- 40:27Speaker 1: then you've got Flavor Flave, who has taken who has
- 40:30Speaker 1: taken the women's water polo team and sponsored them after
- 40:35Speaker 1: he found out they're having to work multiple jobs on
- 40:38Speaker 1: top of training, so he sponsored them and gave them
- 40:41Speaker 1: all this money for you know, living expenses, food equipment,
- 40:45Speaker 1: all this kind of stuff. And then I see a
- 40:50Speaker 1: few days ago Travis Kelce has sort of adopted the
- 40:56Speaker 1: US women's rugby team. Yeah, And the only reason I
- 41:00Speaker 1: found that out was because I was scrolling through social
- 41:03Speaker 1: media and I saw this video of the United States
- 41:08Speaker 1: women's rugby and a woman I've never seen before, even
- 41:12Speaker 1: though she's been in the Olympics before, the first time
- 41:14Speaker 1: that I've seen her, and I think her name is
- 41:16Speaker 1: pronounced Alona Mar. She is from Vermont, and if she
- 41:20Speaker 1: is not immediately made the official state person of Vermont,
- 41:25Speaker 1: they need to rethink some things because I see this
- 41:29Speaker 1: highlight video of her playing rugby, and it's really not
- 41:32Speaker 1: even fair to say it's her playing rugby. It's this
- 41:35Speaker 1: highlight video of Alona Mar murdering bitches on the pitch,
- 41:40Speaker 1: is what it amounts to. I mean, it's like hitting
- 41:45Speaker 1: all four buttons at once on Madden. That's what it's
- 41:48Speaker 1: like watching her play rugby against these other competitors. It's
- 41:52Speaker 1: not even fair. She's running chicks over. She's stiff arming
- 41:56Speaker 1: people better than Derrick Henry does.
- 41:58Speaker 2: Oh, she had a stiff arm like Earl Camp. It's
- 42:02Speaker 2: not a stiff arm. It's an assault to the head.
- 42:05Speaker 1: Yes, that's exactly what it is. It is It is sanctioned,
- 42:09Speaker 1: legalized assault that is happening on a rugby pitch when
- 42:12Speaker 1: Alana Mar has the ball and she's taking out whatever
- 42:16Speaker 1: aggression she has built up throughout her life on that
- 42:20Speaker 1: poor soul standing in front of her. It really is
- 42:23Speaker 1: reminiscent of watching a grown adult playing a sport against children.
- 42:30Speaker 3: At times, it's like and brock Lesner and rugby back
- 42:34Speaker 3: in his college days, that would be.
- 42:36Speaker 1: I'd you know what, No, I'd say if you put
- 42:38Speaker 1: brock Lesnar in the middle of a badminton game, told
- 42:42Speaker 1: him that full and you told him it's full contact badminton.
- 42:46Speaker 3: Now I would watch badminton. It was full contact bad.
- 42:53Speaker 1: Yeah. So the so I see this video of Alona
- 42:55Speaker 1: Mar just destroying women on the pitch, and the US
- 43:00Speaker 1: women's team goes on and wins bronze, which was apparently
- 43:03Speaker 1: a huge surprise, and.
- 43:05Speaker 2: They beat Australia, which nation they are exactly.
- 43:12Speaker 1: The equivalent would be if Australia came and beat the
- 43:14Speaker 1: US at baseball, we would be stunned. We might just
- 43:18Speaker 1: send all that, we might send everyone on that team
- 43:21Speaker 1: away if that was to happen.
- 43:23Speaker 3: Yeah, it's the the winning the winning score for I
- 43:27Speaker 3: don't know if it's not a touchdown, I don't know
- 43:28Speaker 3: what they call it in rugby. But that play is
- 43:32Speaker 3: on every highlight reel right now. And that that lady
- 43:35Speaker 3: that that scored, that is on every media circuit right
- 43:39Speaker 3: now because she basically single handed. I'm not single handedly,
- 43:41Speaker 3: but that run is what got them.
- 43:43Speaker 2: That's that's that was. I believe that was the Alona
- 43:46Speaker 2: mar was not.
- 43:47Speaker 3: I don't know it was.
- 43:48Speaker 1: It was a different player was. I made sure to
- 43:50Speaker 1: make make sure to mention because I think it's Sedgwick.
- 43:53Speaker 1: I'm gonna I'll look it up here in a second,
- 43:55Speaker 1: but that that particular play that clinched the metal for
- 44:00Speaker 1: the US against Australia was a different player.
- 44:05Speaker 2: Excepted out. I don't even know if this is an
- 44:06Speaker 2: Olympics related so much, but I didn't know the US
- 44:10Speaker 2: had a cricket team.
- 44:11Speaker 3: They do, really, Yeah, they're not. They're not very Compton
- 44:16Speaker 3: has a cricket team and I'm not making that up.
- 44:19Speaker 3: You can actually look up the Compton cricket.
- 44:21Speaker 1: Team, so please tell me that's not their mascot. Snoop
- 44:29Speaker 1: Trade knows. If you're our age, you know, you know
- 44:34Speaker 1: that that's bad. It's up there with Bill Parcells, yeah,
- 44:39Speaker 1: and our grandparents as far as things you used to say.
- 44:42Speaker 3: Yeah, I understand, but yeah, So the US has a
- 44:45Speaker 3: cricket team and the Cricket World Cup was in New
- 44:47Speaker 3: York and I believe I think India that got them out,
- 44:53Speaker 3: or I can't remember it was India, London, the or
- 44:56Speaker 3: the UK that got them out. England's cricket team that
- 44:59Speaker 3: they have that somebody and then they did that was
- 45:02Speaker 3: the big stunners, like they won. They won.
- 45:07Speaker 1: Now to me, it's still the big stunnard that the
- 45:09Speaker 1: US even has a cricket team.
- 45:10Speaker 3: Yeah, it's it's one of those again, like where you're
- 45:12Speaker 3: having to work multiple jobs, you know, like and here's
- 45:17Speaker 3: and going back to the Olympics, when how bad are
- 45:20Speaker 3: times when Flavor flav is.
- 45:21Speaker 1: Sponsoring you like the way?
- 45:23Speaker 2: Here's even better question is how good was the music
- 45:27Speaker 2: industry thirty years ago? That Flavor Flame has that kind
- 45:30Speaker 2: of money.
- 45:31Speaker 3: He didn't. That's the thing that you guys not remember
- 45:33Speaker 3: like they had. He was arrested for trying to buy
- 45:37Speaker 3: I believe it was crack or cocaine, one or the
- 45:39Speaker 3: other on a bike and he got arrested.
- 45:42Speaker 2: And then I thought that was Odb.
- 45:45Speaker 3: No. No, Odb got arrested for on on camera cashing
- 45:49Speaker 3: a welfare check, well welfare check while he was one
- 45:54Speaker 3: of the highest paid members of the Wu Tang clan.
- 45:57Speaker 1: Well you're not wrong, though, because if you were really
- 45:59Speaker 1: successful in the music industry thirty years ago, like Snoop,
- 46:02Speaker 1: and successful enough like Flavor Flav to where you can
- 46:05Speaker 1: in essence sponsor these Olympic teams. Yeah, look, that didn't
- 46:09Speaker 1: happen for everybody. I mean, the guys in Color Me
- 46:11Speaker 1: Bad aren't exactly sponsoring the discus throwers. They might as well.
- 46:15Speaker 3: The one guy's throwing tires in Oklahoma. I'm not even
- 46:19Speaker 3: making that up. Like the lead singer I guess of
- 46:22Speaker 3: whatever you want to call them, is literally throwing. He's
- 46:24Speaker 3: got a tire shop I think in Oklahoma. And now
- 46:27Speaker 3: they're back on tour. So Flavor it was Flavor of
- 46:30Speaker 3: Love that got Flavor Flavor back into the mix and
- 46:33Speaker 3: getting sponsored with stuff, and then there was other shows
- 46:36Speaker 3: and spin offs of that, and the whole Brigitte Nielsen
- 46:39Speaker 3: and Flavor Flav catastrophe was fantastic to watch.
- 46:44Speaker 1: Speaking of fantastic to watch the one hundred three yard
- 46:46Speaker 1: game winning score by US women's rugby player Alex Cedric
- 46:51Speaker 1: helped team usay stun Australia.
- 46:54Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what it was. One hundred and three yards.
- 46:56Speaker 3: It was amazing, like she bowled over those people as well,
- 47:00Speaker 3: like she just not it was I think it was
- 47:02Speaker 3: two or three people trying to tackle her and then
- 47:04Speaker 3: she was off to the races. It was fantastic.
- 47:05Speaker 1: It was great. But I go back to that video
- 47:08Speaker 1: I saw of Alona mar just destroying competitors left and
- 47:13Speaker 1: right on the pitch. One of my favorite things about
- 47:15Speaker 1: watching that video, which I cannot find now because there's
- 47:18Speaker 1: all these other videos that have buried it. So if
- 47:21Speaker 1: you see this highlight video, please send it to me.
- 47:23Speaker 1: And I don't mean just the one stiff arm or
- 47:25Speaker 1: the one that she runs over this this other competitor.
- 47:27Speaker 1: I mean it's like a minute long video of her
- 47:29Speaker 1: absolutely destroying people. Because in parts of it instead of
- 47:34Speaker 1: sprinting past some of these people. Yeah, she actually does.
- 47:38Speaker 1: She'll run past you and then she'll slow down, wait
- 47:42Speaker 1: for you to catch up from behind, and then plant
- 47:45Speaker 1: you on the pitch.
- 47:46Speaker 3: Yeah. How tough is How tough is life in Vermont?
- 47:49Speaker 3: Like you're that angry? I gotta check this out because yeah,
- 47:55Speaker 3: if you're if you're waiting for the if you slow
- 47:57Speaker 3: down for them to catch you so you can literally
- 48:00Speaker 3: hurt them, that's my kind of chick. I like it.
- 48:04Speaker 3: Keep going. More power to you. That's incredible alonea more
- 48:08Speaker 3: I'll see if I can find this.
- 48:09Speaker 1: Yes, you're going to be thoroughly impressed. She's she's also
- 48:16Speaker 1: big into body positivity because she's had to struggle with
- 48:18Speaker 1: that a lot growing up. She's as an adult, she's
- 48:21Speaker 1: five tends Okay, which is I'm correct? I think that
- 48:28Speaker 1: was Trey's playing weight back in the day.
- 48:31Speaker 2: A little taller but about the same.
- 48:33Speaker 3: Wow. Okay, but that's not true.
- 48:36Speaker 2: And she has a better stiff arm than I ever did.
- 48:43Speaker 3: I'm so glad you said orm.
- 48:50Speaker 8: You're listening to the Treehouse visitors online at Treehouse on
- 48:55Speaker 8: air dot com.
- 49:09Speaker 5: You're in the Treehouse listen is online a Treehouse on
- 49:14Speaker 5: Air dot com.
- 49:16Speaker 1: Don't forget to check out that YouTube channel YouTube dot com,
- 49:19Speaker 1: slash at Treehouse on Air, the website Treehouse on Air
- 49:22Speaker 1: dot com. Social media at Treehouse on Air. Speaking of
- 49:27Speaker 1: social media, I made sure to post it, but I
- 49:31Speaker 1: don't think Trey and Raj have seen it yet. But
- 49:34Speaker 1: I'm gonna show them what I posted. And it is
- 49:39Speaker 1: because I am not above hijacking popular viral things to
- 49:46Speaker 1: see if we can insert the Treehouse name into the
- 49:48Speaker 1: middle of it and get some attention out of it. Okay,
- 49:51Speaker 1: like it, and I'm referring to right now, Deadpool and Wolverine.
- 49:57Speaker 1: Trey and I saw it this past weekend. Raj, I
- 49:59Speaker 1: don't thin think you've seen it yet.
- 50:00Speaker 3: I have not going Friday. I mean, sorry tonight.
- 50:03Speaker 1: There you go.
- 50:04Speaker 2: It's brilliant.
- 50:05Speaker 1: It really is a phenomenal, phenomenal fun time at the theater.
- 50:11Speaker 1: I even I did a quick Treehouse review in picture
- 50:17Speaker 1: form the other day on Instagram. I'm not sure if
- 50:19Speaker 1: you guys noticed it, but I posted, you know, Marvel Studios,
- 50:24Speaker 1: Dead Pull and Wolverine a Treehouse podcast review and they
- 50:26Speaker 1: need to swipe. And it's like multiple photos, gratuitous violence,
- 50:30Speaker 1: raunchy humor, extreme profanity, and we think it's effing awesome.
- 50:37Speaker 2: It was kind of disturbing when Tara noted that Dan
- 50:40Speaker 2: and I were laughing at spots where no one else.
- 50:43Speaker 3: Was, Yeah, this is gonna be good. It'll probably be
- 50:51Speaker 3: the same part that I laugh at and I'll just
- 50:53Speaker 3: text you guys like that.
- 50:53Speaker 1: That was exactly and I did make sure to mention
- 50:58Speaker 1: in that post I did earlier this week about it,
- 51:00Speaker 1: as you know, thinking people involved, because I think it's
- 51:05Speaker 1: good to thank people when they do things that you
- 51:07Speaker 1: truly appreciate. And that's so I'm saying, you know, thank you,
- 51:10Speaker 1: Ryan Reynolds, you Jackman, the director, Sean Levy and Marvel
- 51:13Speaker 1: and everyone involved in the most fun we've had in
- 51:15Speaker 1: a non adult movie theater in a long, long time.
- 51:19Speaker 1: So if you have not seen it, we highly recommend
- 51:21Speaker 1: it rise you'll see it tonight. Can't wait to hear
- 51:23Speaker 1: what you think about it. But the other part of
- 51:25Speaker 1: the Deadpool and Wolverine phenomenon all this week has been
- 51:30Speaker 1: all the cameos that are in the film, some that
- 51:34Speaker 1: you see, some that you notice, and then there's some
- 51:38Speaker 1: that you don't see. Because in the film there is
- 51:41Speaker 1: a scene where there's a number of Deadpool variants and
- 51:46Speaker 1: that is where a number of actors are hidden, people
- 51:49Speaker 1: that you know. For example, Ryan Reynolds family is in
- 51:55Speaker 1: the scene.
- 51:57Speaker 3: Oh okay, all of them, Okaye.
- 52:02Speaker 1: Kids, all of them. There's also some other hidden celebrities
- 52:07Speaker 1: in that particular scene, all dressed as various versions of Deadpool,
- 52:12Speaker 1: one of which was Paul Mullens from Wrexham. He was
- 52:17Speaker 1: he was Welsh Pool. There was one supposedly Matthew McConaughey
- 52:22Speaker 1: was Cowboy Pool. Okay, Tom Holland who plays Spider Man,
- 52:28Speaker 1: his brother played one of the Deadpools. And apparently Ryan
- 52:33Speaker 1: Reynolds didn't even know about it. That's what he had
- 52:34Speaker 1: posted the other day. But out of all the cameos
- 52:39Speaker 1: in the dead Pool and Wolverine film, there was one
- 52:43Speaker 1: that hasn't been as public, and we are here to
- 52:46Speaker 1: make it public. Okay, all right, our varying own. Trey
- 52:51Speaker 1: Trenholm had a cameo in the Deadpool and Wolverine film.
- 52:57Speaker 1: He did, he was one of the variants, and they
- 52:59Speaker 1: even took a photo on set. They even took a
- 53:06Speaker 1: photo on set of Trey and Ryan Reynolds in their
- 53:12Speaker 1: Deadpool costumes. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you Trey
- 53:15Speaker 1: Trenholm in his cameo of Deadpool and Wolverine as Soberpool.
- 53:28Speaker 1: That's him. He's right there standing next to Ryan Reynolds
- 53:32Speaker 1: on the day of the shoot. And you can tell
- 53:35Speaker 1: that it's Trey because you can see his face. But
- 53:38Speaker 1: in the scene you can't see his face because he's wearing,
- 53:40Speaker 1: you know, the Deadpool slash Soberpool mask. But you know
- 53:44Speaker 1: it's Trey because of the insignia on the chest and
- 53:46Speaker 1: that is the alcohol with the slash through it.
- 53:51Speaker 3: Yes, that is a That is a great And I
- 53:53Speaker 3: didn't I did not realize, Trey, how large your head was.
- 53:59Speaker 3: That's compared to Ryan Reynolds.
- 54:02Speaker 1: They had to they had to do that that photo
- 54:05Speaker 1: a number of times just to make sure that the
- 54:07Speaker 1: head size was somewhat matched.
- 54:13Speaker 3: The photographer you mean.
- 54:15Speaker 1: Yes, that's what I mean. The photographer, yes, not the
- 54:17Speaker 1: not the photo shopper to get.
- 54:20Speaker 2: The right angle.
- 54:24Speaker 1: All right, I'm not good at photoshop. I just needed
- 54:27Speaker 1: to be just enough to where you guys might actually
- 54:30Speaker 1: scroll through on Instagram and think, is that tray with
- 54:32Speaker 1: Ryan Reynolds.
- 54:34Speaker 3: I would that would be my first thought. I was like, Oh,
- 54:36Speaker 3: that's awesome. He's in the movie. How big is his head?
- 54:43Speaker 3: I stood next to the man. I didn't notice, or
- 54:47Speaker 3: did I, and I don't want to say anything.
- 54:50Speaker 1: Well, they couldn't cast him as head Pool because that
- 54:53Speaker 1: role was already taken. Arraj enjoyed the movie. Yeah, well,
- 55:07Speaker 1: I'm certain that you're going to laugh at the same
- 55:09Speaker 1: part that it was just me and Trey laughing because
- 55:11Speaker 1: I think other people just don't hit some of those jokes.
- 55:14Speaker 1: Some of those jokes don't hit other people the way
- 55:15Speaker 1: they might for trading myself.
- 55:18Speaker 3: Then I'm excited.
- 55:21Speaker 1: All right, there we go Treehouse Friday, episode forty eight.
- 55:23Speaker 1: Things ringing out inside the Treehouse. We will see you
- 55:25Speaker 1: next time. Be sure to check out all things Treehouse
- 55:27Speaker 1: at Treehouse on Air dot com.
