- 1:05Speaker 4: He's like, Hey, that Larry Bird jersey I'm missing. Are
- 1:09Speaker 4: you wearing that? You're gonna steal it? At least steal
- 1:11Speaker 4: it right?
- 1:12Speaker 3: Yeah? I thoughts, So, what.
- 1:14Speaker 5: Would you take if you had to take something in here?
- 1:16Speaker 5: Because there's a lot of you know, you could go, oh,
- 1:20Speaker 5: I see it, I see what I got.
- 1:22Speaker 4: I think I would go the techmobile bo Jackson with
- 1:27Speaker 4: the old school Nintendo controller inside of the frame.
- 1:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:30Speaker 4: See, we started talking about taking stuff and Trey walked
- 1:32Speaker 4: out of his office.
- 1:33Speaker 3: Excuse me what?
- 1:34Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, Trey, what's up? If you see us in
- 1:38Speaker 4: a Jose Canseco jersey next week, didn't get it from you.
- 1:41Speaker 4: You didn't know that was part of the deal that
- 1:43Speaker 4: we get to wear one of the jerseys every week.
- 1:45Speaker 4: I'm looking at this autographed Saved by the Bell tank
- 1:49Speaker 4: top back. Wait a minute, who's signed that? Tray Zach Morris,
- 1:54Speaker 4: that's you, Yeah, that's me. I mean we've done two
- 1:57Speaker 4: hour shows where we've talked just about Saved by the
- 1:59Speaker 4: Bell before. Yeah, there's a tank top o there on
- 2:01Speaker 4: a little half torso mannequin. Yeah, and Jesse, Zach Morris
- 2:07Speaker 4: and Jesse Wow, Jesse Spano Spannah For some reason, I
- 2:13Speaker 4: went Jesse cassopos there and that's from full House. It's
- 2:16Speaker 4: on me, Jesse Spanna. Yeah, I mean you can go
- 2:21Speaker 4: back in the archives. We did a two hour show
- 2:23Speaker 4: where I'm pretty sure we talked about Saved by the
- 2:26Speaker 4: Bell for about an hour and forty minutes of the show.
- 2:28Speaker 3: YEP on six D Radio.
- 2:30Speaker 5: When Jesse got addictioned to those caffeine pills, really changed
- 2:33Speaker 5: kids' lives.
- 2:33Speaker 3: It did. She's so excited. So she's so scared, too scared.
- 2:39Speaker 3: Those caffeine pills can get you every single time.
- 2:42Speaker 4: All Right, we are gonna we are gonna have chef
- 2:45Speaker 4: Michael Johnson join us in about fifteen minutes from now.
- 2:50Speaker 3: I do want to ask here, what.
- 2:52Speaker 4: Maybe is the most intriguing thing this week in college
- 2:56Speaker 4: football for you?
- 2:57Speaker 3: It doesn't have to be a game. It can be
- 2:59Speaker 3: a storyline.
- 3:00Speaker 4: It can be based off what happened in week one,
- 3:02Speaker 4: because I know a lot of people can be like
- 3:05Speaker 4: eye hustling Alabama even though they're playing Louisiana Monroe, Like
- 3:08Speaker 4: how do they come out? Like how do they react
- 3:11Speaker 4: to what happened to them in week number one? How
- 3:14Speaker 4: do teams handle success? Because like, for the most part,
- 3:18Speaker 4: like the teams that had success, they got to lay
- 3:21Speaker 4: up this week. Ohio State's playing Grandlin l She's playing
- 3:25Speaker 4: Louisiana Tech, Florida's Florida's playing with who'd you say?
- 3:29Speaker 3: East Texas?
- 3:30Speaker 5: East Texas A and m sure and Commerce Commerce.
- 3:34Speaker 4: We all knows, idiots obvious that your big dummies, big
- 3:41Speaker 4: dummies the Tennessee who had a great Week one. They
- 3:43Speaker 4: played East Tennessee State, and so you know, for all
- 3:47Speaker 4: these teams that had like, you know, some pretty big victories,
- 3:50Speaker 4: like they don't really have a tough test, but there's
- 3:52Speaker 4: still things like you can look like Texas playing San
- 3:55Speaker 4: Jose State, so like it's a great opportunity for them
- 3:58Speaker 4: to bounce back. But of like all the things going
- 4:01Speaker 4: on in college football.
- 4:02Speaker 3: Where are you at?
- 4:03Speaker 5: So I'm looking, I'm trying to look at the slate
- 4:05Speaker 5: here and what is intriguing to me. One of the
- 4:10Speaker 5: bigger matchups and one of the good matchups that we
- 4:12Speaker 5: think is going to happen this week is to see
- 4:14Speaker 5: how Baylor bounces back. They're going and playing at number
- 4:18Speaker 5: seventeen SMU to see.
- 4:19Speaker 3: How they see what that game is like?
- 4:21Speaker 5: Is is Auburn better than we thought they were?
- 4:24Speaker 3: Did they play well?
- 4:25Speaker 5: Of course, Baylor losing a home opener versus an SEC opponent, Well,
- 4:30Speaker 5: you were high on Baylor. We thought they were very
- 4:32Speaker 5: good offensive, we thought they're how do they bounce back?
- 4:34Speaker 5: That's going to be an intriguing one for us to watch.
- 4:37Speaker 5: But just curiosity and hopefulness about the SEC quarterback landscape.
- 4:44Speaker 5: How does John Matteer, how his his improvement because he is,
- 4:50Speaker 5: like we have said, he is this guy that the sky.
- 4:52Speaker 3: Could be the limit.
- 4:54Speaker 5: Is the Oklahoma offense going to be back to where
- 4:57Speaker 5: it was when they were winning heismans after highs and
- 5:00Speaker 5: putting up sixty points a game? Last year they took
- 5:04Speaker 5: a big, big, big step back. They took like ten
- 5:06Speaker 5: steps back offensively, So can they get back to that?
- 5:10Speaker 5: I think Jeometier has some potential, has that electricity like
- 5:13Speaker 5: I just want to see and I can't wait till
- 5:14Speaker 5: he gets more into the sec play. But this is
- 5:17Speaker 5: a good test for him. How is he going to
- 5:19Speaker 5: fit in with the Oklahoma offense? Are they going.
- 5:22Speaker 4: To be able to spread it out enough, move the
- 5:24Speaker 4: ball enough, create big plays which they were just not
- 5:27Speaker 4: able to do a year ago when they were.
- 5:31Speaker 3: Still like that. I like johnme Tier.
- 5:34Speaker 4: I think he is a combination of Matt Flynn and
- 5:36Speaker 4: Baker Mayfield. When I met him, and if you ever
- 5:39Speaker 4: meet him, you'll know exactly.
- 5:40Speaker 3: What I'm talking about.
- 5:42Speaker 4: I'm rooting for that guy until LSU plays them basically
- 5:45Speaker 4: like I just he's an easy guy to root for.
- 5:48Speaker 4: So that's a good storyline. Rock Obeck and Iowa State,
- 5:51Speaker 4: like if they go out there and they kind of
- 5:53Speaker 4: handle Iowa. I think that's a very impressive win and
- 5:57Speaker 4: may be three and zero, and I think they would
- 5:59Speaker 4: be a real play to win the Big Twelve if
- 6:02Speaker 4: they go out there and do that, even though I
- 6:03Speaker 4: know I was not in the Big Twelve, but that's
- 6:05Speaker 4: a rivalry game you play every single year. You would
- 6:08Speaker 4: have a win over Kansas State, a win over Iowa,
- 6:10Speaker 4: it'd be one of the better resumes in college football.
- 6:13Speaker 4: But another game that nobody's really talking about that I
- 6:17Speaker 4: think is going to be a good game is Illinois
- 6:20Speaker 4: and Duke. That game is at Wallace Wade Stadium in Durham.
- 6:24Speaker 4: Duke is a football team that is good enough to
- 6:27Speaker 4: beat anybody really on their schedule. Not saying they're going
- 6:30Speaker 4: to by any means, but they certainly are good enough.
- 6:32Speaker 4: Many Diaz is somebody who's going to be uber aggressive
- 6:35Speaker 4: on defense. And you got Minta coming over from Tulane
- 6:38Speaker 4: to be your quarterback, and they got some real juice
- 6:40Speaker 4: to them. And Illinois is a team that a lot
- 6:42Speaker 4: of people are putting as the last Big Ten team
- 6:44Speaker 4: in the College Football playoff, and when you look at
- 6:46Speaker 4: their schedule, they have got these are their home games
- 6:50Speaker 4: all right. Their home games are USC, Ohio State, Rutgers, Maryland, Northwestern, Right,
- 6:55Speaker 4: so your toughest game, Ohio State is going to be
- 6:58Speaker 4: at home. Now for them, they got to be good
- 7:01Speaker 4: on the road if they want to fulfill that prophecy
- 7:04Speaker 4: of them being in the College Football Playoff because they
- 7:06Speaker 4: could lose to Ohio State at home.
- 7:08Speaker 3: You win your road games, you're in.
- 7:10Speaker 4: So the road games are at Duke, at Indiana, at Purdue,
- 7:13Speaker 4: at Washington, at Wisconsin.
- 7:15Speaker 6: Right.
- 7:15Speaker 4: So there's some tricky ones in there, but this one
- 7:18Speaker 4: feels like one that they have to have. They can't
- 7:20Speaker 4: lose this one and make it to the College Football playoffs.
- 7:23Speaker 4: So you were in must win mode in week number
- 7:25Speaker 4: two on the road against a team that is good
- 7:28Speaker 4: enough to beat you. Right now, Illinois only a three
- 7:30Speaker 4: and a half point favorite. So I want to see
- 7:33Speaker 4: old Bee Lama. I want to see Luke Altmeyer, who
- 7:36Speaker 4: I picked I picked to be the Big Ten preseason
- 7:39Speaker 4: offensive player of the year.
- 7:41Speaker 3: I think he's going to have every opportunity to do so.
- 7:43Speaker 4: I think he is going to have you passing yards,
- 7:46Speaker 4: rushing yards, passing touchdowns, rushing touchdowns, and so I was
- 7:50Speaker 4: high on Illinois. But this is one of those games
- 7:53Speaker 4: where if you have step into it on the road,
- 7:56Speaker 4: Duke is good enough to beat you. So like that's
- 7:58Speaker 4: a game that it's not ranked on rank, but it
- 8:00Speaker 4: very easily could be.
- 8:02Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean this is I mean, if we're pulling
- 8:05Speaker 5: out an Illinois versus Duke game as one of the
- 8:07Speaker 5: highlights this week, you know it's down week.
- 8:09Speaker 3: I know. See, I knew you were going to say that.
- 8:12Speaker 3: I'm just telling you, I get it. Illinois good.
- 8:15Speaker 5: Illinois is good. But I'm telling you Duke is not
- 8:17Speaker 5: bad either. Okay, I know they beat they whipped up
- 8:19Speaker 5: on Elon last week.
- 8:20Speaker 4: I mean, but remember, like, I mean the thing I know, listen,
- 8:23Speaker 4: I know everything you're about to say.
- 8:24Speaker 3: Gave us seventy eight points.
- 8:27Speaker 6: I know.
- 8:28Speaker 4: But they're a good football team, and this is a
- 8:30Speaker 4: test for Illinois.
- 8:31Speaker 3: If Illinois goes.
- 8:31Speaker 4: Out there and beats them by twenty eight points, I
- 8:34Speaker 4: think I'm just saying that's okay. Notice that, because that
- 8:36Speaker 4: means Illinois is going to be in it for the
- 8:38Speaker 4: long can come got it? Where get all their good players?
- 8:42Speaker 4: Uh transferred portal? Yeah, two lane, I'm all in Blue Devils.
- 8:49Speaker 4: Let's go football.
- 8:50Speaker 3: School.
- 8:50Speaker 4: And it did be Clemson in the opener a couple
- 8:52Speaker 4: of years ago.
- 8:53Speaker 3: We could say we did that too. Now, yeah, we
- 8:57Speaker 3: did that too.
- 8:58Speaker 4: Whipped them with the sixty two grade too. Could have
- 9:03Speaker 4: had a good game in Baylor SMU, but sick them
- 9:06Speaker 4: didn't do their job.
- 9:07Speaker 5: Oh no, that would have been electric too, Yeah. Did
- 9:13Speaker 5: a game day would have been in Dallas. Where is
- 9:15Speaker 5: game day this week there at Oklahoma? Oh yeah, uh yeah,
- 9:19Speaker 5: it's only ring game.
- 9:20Speaker 3: Uh they have gone. Let me tell you something.
- 9:22Speaker 4: If Florida puts it on South Florida, Oh hello, you
- 9:26Speaker 4: could be looking at game day right across the street
- 9:28Speaker 4: here bo.
- 9:30Speaker 3: Right.
- 9:31Speaker 4: Yeah, maybe set up right here out right outside of
- 9:33Speaker 4: Pro Dreams. And why not just do it right there
- 9:35Speaker 4: in the parking lot. Yeah, probably can do it on
- 9:38Speaker 4: the preyground.
- 9:39Speaker 3: But it's giving you a secondary location. If we are
- 9:43Speaker 3: at ESPN affiliate.
- 9:44Speaker 4: So so week three, Week three in college football, I'll
- 9:49Speaker 4: give you some of the games that could be up
- 9:52Speaker 4: for the same conversation. You've got Vanderbilt in South Carolina
- 9:55Speaker 4: in Columbia. You have got Clemson in Georgia, Tech in Atlanta,
- 9:59Speaker 4: they're Bobby Dodd Stadium. You have Wisconsin and Alabama. No,
- 10:04Speaker 4: I don't think that one. You do have Georgia Tennessee. Okay, well,
- 10:08Speaker 4: speaking of this week though, let's stick with it. There
- 10:10Speaker 4: is an SEC matchup. Were you not intrigued at all
- 10:14Speaker 4: by Ole Miss hitting the road and going and taking
- 10:16Speaker 4: on Kentucky we talked about a little bit nowur number one,
- 10:18Speaker 4: you were probably spaced out looking at all the cool
- 10:20Speaker 4: stuff here in prodrens.
- 10:21Speaker 3: There's a lot of a lot of shiny objects here.
- 10:24Speaker 4: Look, Kentucky did beat Ole Miss last year. That game
- 10:27Speaker 4: was in Oxford too. I just I don't know that
- 10:32Speaker 4: Kentucky and last year they were bad too, and they
- 10:36Speaker 4: found a way, but they just Look. I picked Toledo
- 10:40Speaker 4: to cover for a reason last week and they did.
- 10:42Speaker 4: I just don't know what Kentucky can give you.
- 10:44Speaker 6: Now.
- 10:44Speaker 4: It's only a nine and a half point spread in
- 10:46Speaker 4: favor of Old Miss, so you know, nobody's really expecting
- 10:49Speaker 4: a blowout. But I just I don't know that Kentucky
- 10:55Speaker 4: right now is in a polution champion Friends of Year
- 10:58Speaker 4: makes them all right with my Kentucky, whether you're Kentucky, yeah,
- 11:02Speaker 4: that's not going to do it. Look, oh poops, he's
- 11:04Speaker 4: just he's done. I think he's gone after this year.
- 11:06Speaker 3: I don't know why you and Ti Bob could not
- 11:09Speaker 3: understand this, all right.
- 11:10Speaker 4: I just I picked teams that I think are undervalued
- 11:14Speaker 4: before the season, and I talk about them because I
- 11:17Speaker 4: think they deserve to get more love. Kentucky just so
- 11:20Speaker 4: happened to be that team for multiple, multiple years.
- 11:22Speaker 3: That's right now, it's now. Now it's Missouri.
- 11:25Speaker 5: Oh, I give you cheer for a team, and I'm
- 11:28Speaker 5: not even saying you're you're gonna be like, oh, I
- 11:30Speaker 5: wouldn't cheering for him. I was just like, I was
- 11:32Speaker 5: just being a sports guy. Uh national sports dude. Well,
- 11:35Speaker 5: if you do that enough, you're a fan. At some
- 11:38Speaker 5: point it turns into.
- 11:41Speaker 4: Oh, I look, okay, I've got no issue full disclosure.
- 11:49Speaker 4: If Mark Stops is playing somebody and it's not one
- 11:51Speaker 4: of the teams that.
- 11:52Speaker 3: I care for, absolutely I would hope they win. That's fine.
- 11:55Speaker 4: I've got a relationship with Shops, just like I got
- 11:58Speaker 4: a relationship with Eli Drinkwitz, and if Drink's not playing
- 12:01Speaker 4: l s U, I wouldn't hate it if Missouri won.
- 12:05Speaker 3: I mean, I'm not rooting for him, but I'm like, oh,
- 12:08Speaker 3: that's cool.
- 12:09Speaker 4: Yeah, I kind of root against Missouri because you don't
- 12:11Speaker 4: think they're in the SEA. I don't. I don't think
- 12:15Speaker 4: they should be. It's kind of a week a week
- 12:23Speaker 4: everything go ahead week name week state.
- 12:26Speaker 3: Week name. How's it a week name Missouri? Week? State?
- 12:30Speaker 3: How's it a week? States to show state?
- 12:33Speaker 4: Just uh yeah, show me, show me, show your way
- 12:36Speaker 4: out the SEC.
- 12:37Speaker 3: Oh my god, you have nothing to back that takeout?
- 12:44Speaker 4: No, I don't. It's just a feeling. Can you explain
- 12:47Speaker 4: feelings sometimes?
- 12:48Speaker 3: Now?
- 12:50Speaker 5: I just it's it's something. I it's a hill. I
- 12:54Speaker 5: decided to die a long time ago. When they first joined.
- 12:56Speaker 5: I just didn't think they needed to be in the SEC.
- 13:00Speaker 5: So I'm just gonna stick with it. Mm hmm sure.
- 13:03Speaker 4: Teapal says old miss to cover is free money. Gotta
- 13:06Speaker 4: know it feels like it, doesn't it. What is this
- 13:08Speaker 4: from nine and a half in favor of old miss
- 13:12Speaker 4: the revs? Yeah, uh, Daniel says Flynn saying Missouri isn't
- 13:18Speaker 4: in the SEC is a Grandpa Simpson take.
- 13:21Speaker 3: It's fine. That is fine.
- 13:25Speaker 4: I don't disagree with you either. Self awareness is uh
- 13:30Speaker 4: elandra blank space Villa Reale. Inside the Bydo four chat,
- 13:33Speaker 4: they don't need to be in the SEC. They're in
- 13:35Speaker 4: the Midwest.
- 13:36Speaker 5: Then go see there you go, Landra gets it. Thank you,
- 13:40Speaker 5: Elandra Foxhall, Jake's not making fun of me.
- 13:44Speaker 3: From old man shout out to Ryan Wooldridge.
- 13:50Speaker 4: Inside the by four chat, he gives us a two
- 13:52Speaker 4: dollars super chat and asks the question, Hi, bro, what
- 13:55Speaker 4: NFL team should I pick for Survivor board? You already
- 13:58Speaker 4: gave that out Eagles Eagles. So we're doing the first
- 14:00Speaker 4: game right out of the gate to.
- 14:02Speaker 5: The gate, so like we're doing an OTB Survivor. We're
- 14:05Speaker 5: going to see how long the foxhold Camega will decide.
- 14:07Speaker 5: We'll figure out which member is going to give the
- 14:11Speaker 5: pick next week.
- 14:12Speaker 4: But since you know, it was kind of my I
- 14:14Speaker 4: thought of this while using the restroom during a break,
- 14:16Speaker 4: that we should do this. We uh, we did it,
- 14:18Speaker 4: and I gave the first pick, and yes, okay, a
- 14:22Speaker 4: little bit of a cop out, I got it. It's
- 14:24Speaker 4: what are they eight and a half point favorites, which
- 14:27Speaker 4: is a very large number in the NFL.
- 14:31Speaker 3: But I just think, you.
- 14:33Speaker 4: Know, it's like a it's like a seventeen and a
- 14:35Speaker 4: half point spread.
- 14:36Speaker 3: And cop pretty much.
- 14:38Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean it's ridiculous, and I just think that
- 14:42Speaker 5: go with what you know. We don't know anything about
- 14:44Speaker 5: these teams right now.
- 14:45Speaker 3: Go let you know. I know the Eagles are really good.
- 14:46Speaker 4: They got the best one of the best rosters, if
- 14:48Speaker 4: not the best roster in the NFL.
- 14:50Speaker 3: And I think they cowboys as much.
- 14:53Speaker 5: As they're going to say all the right things and
- 14:56Speaker 5: do all the right things publicly, I think they're just
- 15:00Speaker 5: so much noise around that program. There is just so
- 15:03Speaker 5: much drama that has been self created. Nobody asked them
- 15:09Speaker 5: to do all this. Their owner did. Jerry Jones asked
- 15:12Speaker 5: for this. He has done this to himself. I just
- 15:17Speaker 5: think it's a pretty simple pick on this one. I
- 15:21Speaker 5: hate to pick the best team in the NFL the
- 15:23Speaker 5: first week too. It's a little bit of a cop out.
- 15:24Speaker 5: But it's week one. We really don't know anything.
- 15:26Speaker 4: We can watch these teams and maybe next week we'll
- 15:28Speaker 4: pick the Panthers or pick the Saints or whatever it is,
- 15:32Speaker 4: and we'll get a little bit more creative, little move,
- 15:33Speaker 4: more juicy. But it's week one, all right. Cajun curveball
- 15:37Speaker 4: into the body four chat bad week for OTB Squad.
- 15:39Speaker 4: Three of the five last shows got pulled off YouTube.
- 15:41Speaker 3: Who's holding us down? That feels like they got pulled
- 15:45Speaker 3: off YouTube? Yeah, and I'm just gonna get him back on.
- 15:47Speaker 4: She's a fixer, probably probably because like the other shows
- 15:51Speaker 4: are like, hey, whoa, guys say something for the rest of.
- 15:54Speaker 3: Us, save something to say some views.
- 15:57Speaker 4: Let's take those down so you know they don't have
- 15:59Speaker 4: the same amount.
- 16:00Speaker 3: Maybe too many people were smashing that like button, I
- 16:02Speaker 3: think that's what it was. These views are making the
- 16:05Speaker 3: rest of us kind of look bad down below, down below,
- 16:08Speaker 3: So that's what that is.

- 16:24Speaker 3: figure that out. It's okay, all right.

- 17:33Speaker 3: Get him out, coach.
- 17:34Speaker 4: He's life and we don't take plays off in this family.
- 17:38Speaker 3: Son, go cups.
- 17:41Speaker 4: All right, we'll take a break, Chef Michael Johnson when

- 18:03Speaker 4: not the kidney shape now, Like Flen pointed out, it

- 19:16Speaker 1: bench with Jacob Hester and Matt Flynn.
- 19:21Speaker 4: Welcome, Welcome, yo yo, cro dreamss is where we're at.
- 19:28Speaker 3: Before we get to our guys.
- 19:29Speaker 4: Chef Michael Johnson shout out to Carly and Side to
- 19:32Speaker 4: buy you four chat. She asked, did she start JD
- 19:35Speaker 4: five or Joe Burrow in Fantasy Week number one? So
- 19:39Speaker 4: JD five going against the Giants at home, I believe,
- 19:42Speaker 4: and then Joe is going against Cleveland away the cleve.
- 19:49Speaker 4: I'm going JD five. I'm going JD five. I'm gonna
- 19:52Speaker 4: go there as well being at home. And then you
- 19:54Speaker 4: get the you know, the dual threat possibilities in Cleveland's
- 19:58Speaker 4: actually got a pretty decent defense. And you never quite
- 20:01Speaker 4: know how the wind in that stadium is going to be.
- 20:04Speaker 4: I mean it can be no matter what time of
- 20:07Speaker 4: the day, time of the year, like the wind it's
- 20:09Speaker 4: a wind tunnel, and you never quite know.
- 20:11Speaker 3: Yeah, you never know.
- 20:12Speaker 5: And then I talk all the time about that year
- 20:15Speaker 5: one to two jump, I mean good what means good?
- 20:18Speaker 3: Lord?
- 20:18Speaker 5: If JD makes a you're one to two jump, what
- 20:20Speaker 5: can he be? So I just looked for him to
- 20:25Speaker 5: improve and get better from a historically amazing rookie season.
- 20:30Speaker 3: I think that kid is special.
- 20:31Speaker 5: I think his mental makeup and certainly his genetic makeup,
- 20:34Speaker 5: but his mental makeup is is very special and different
- 20:39Speaker 5: and could continue on him a very fast paced trajectory.
- 20:43Speaker 4: All right, let's get to our guys, Chef Michael Johnson,
- 20:45Speaker 4: who joins us now to answer your munchie question, Chef,
- 20:48Speaker 4: what's going on?
- 20:49Speaker 3: Brother? How are we doing? How we living?
- 20:51Speaker 6: More of them? Good guys? You know, I gotta I
- 20:53Speaker 6: gotta say the fact that she has to make a
- 20:56Speaker 6: decision between those two.
- 20:59Speaker 3: Incredible, Yeah, Nick kidding?
- 21:02Speaker 4: Like holy holy fantasy football draft, Carly, like say something
- 21:06Speaker 4: for everybody else.
- 21:06Speaker 3: My gosh, it's a great choice to be able to.
- 21:09Speaker 4: Have no running backs. Probably that's all right, right, Sorry,
- 21:12Speaker 4: that's why you go JD five. He's gonna get you
- 21:13Speaker 4: the rushing person. So uh, chef man, it's always our pleasure,
- 21:17Speaker 4: But we gotta we gotta go back before we get
- 21:19Speaker 4: to the munchy questions. How about last week Clemson South Carolina.
- 21:23Speaker 3: I have to imagine the.
- 21:25Speaker 4: Vibes have been at an elite level this week with
- 21:29Speaker 4: the team.
- 21:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 21:30Speaker 6: Absolutely, man. Uh you know, obviously the guys come back
- 21:33Speaker 6: feeling good about that. Man. I I uh just love
- 21:38Speaker 6: being a part of it.
- 21:39Speaker 3: Man.
- 21:39Speaker 6: To see these guys come home up with the number
- 21:41Speaker 6: one way like that, to get the team of that magnitude. Man,
- 21:44Speaker 6: it always feels good. But you know by Thursday, they're refocused.
- 21:49Speaker 6: You know, you don't. You don't reel in it for
- 21:50Speaker 6: too long. You gotta stay focused on what you do.
- 21:52Speaker 6: So that's and that's what I love about the team.
- 21:55Speaker 6: You know, like they they're real in it for a
- 21:57Speaker 6: while and then they then they refocus and understand that
- 22:00Speaker 6: there's more more to do, and there's lots more to do.
- 22:03Speaker 3: Man.
- 22:03Speaker 6: You know I said at last Thursday, I think a
- 22:07Speaker 6: lot of people are going to be surprised by this team,
- 22:08Speaker 6: and I'm standing by those words.
- 22:11Speaker 4: Well, I don't think it's going to be a surprise
- 22:13Speaker 4: anymore after the informers they put on. So I want
- 22:16Speaker 4: to ask you, So I was on a couple of
- 22:18Speaker 4: the teams that I had the privilege to be on
- 22:20Speaker 4: throughout my football career. When you had a big win,
- 22:24Speaker 4: you had kind of like a victory meal, so you
- 22:26Speaker 4: got you got a little bit extra.
- 22:28Speaker 5: Maybe it was a file at instead of a curl on.
- 22:30Speaker 5: Maybe it was just a little bit something extra. And
- 22:34Speaker 5: if you lost, of course you'd probably get your hamburger helpers.
- 22:36Speaker 5: But like, do y'all do anything special for big wins,
- 22:40Speaker 5: you know, like we have in the past, We are
- 22:42Speaker 5: not currently doing that.
- 22:43Speaker 6: We're just making sure that the guys we kind of
- 22:46Speaker 6: found that, you know, when you serve lots of tales
- 22:48Speaker 6: and crab legs, it's not exactly the comfortable menu that
- 22:51Speaker 6: they're looking for. And what we're looking to do is
- 22:54Speaker 6: make sure that they're going to eat well on Sunday
- 22:56Speaker 6: because it's more importantly the victory. It's a recovery meal, right,
- 23:00Speaker 6: they need to they need their bodies of recovery to
- 23:03Speaker 6: get to recover, to go into money, and it's a
- 23:05Speaker 6: super important meal. So we see we have kind of
- 23:08Speaker 6: dialed back away from the high dollar fancy meals and
- 23:10Speaker 6: gone more to a Southern comfort something that they're gonna
- 23:14Speaker 6: you know, make sure that they're gonna eat right, you know,
- 23:18Speaker 6: lots of comfortable foods, and it seems to be going better.
- 23:21Speaker 3: Yet hashtag munchies.
- 23:24Speaker 4: My wife and I need a ruling on the age
- 23:27Speaker 4: old question. In a dishwasher, do utensils point up?
- 23:33Speaker 6: That's a good.
- 23:34Speaker 3: Question, great question.
- 23:36Speaker 6: I mind point up. The handles go down with the
- 23:40Speaker 6: exception of the knives because I don't want to reach
- 23:42Speaker 6: into my dishwasher and you know, take off any falangies,
- 23:46Speaker 6: so my knives go down, my forks and spins go Yeah.
- 23:49Speaker 4: I think that's how I do it. My wife, Yeah,
- 23:51Speaker 4: I listen and think you do it. You never do
- 23:53Speaker 4: the dishes, and she'd probably be right, But when I do,
- 23:56Speaker 4: that's how I do it.
- 23:58Speaker 3: Yeah, you know.
- 24:00Speaker 6: Actually my first response to that was I was surprised that,
- 24:02Speaker 6: you know, he was washing the distance the judo's on him,
- 24:05Speaker 6: you know.
- 24:06Speaker 4: Yeah, yep, trust me when I say she's probably already
- 24:09Speaker 4: formatting the text.
- 24:10Speaker 3: Uh huh, yeah. We Yeah.
- 24:12Speaker 5: So forever we were handle up, we were handle up family.
- 24:16Speaker 5: I think over the last eighteen months or so, we grow,
- 24:20Speaker 5: We've really grown.
- 24:21Speaker 3: We're a handle down company.
- 24:22Speaker 5: And I get the argument against you don't want to
- 24:24Speaker 5: touch like the business end of a utensil and somebody
- 24:26Speaker 5: else might be eating, but it just for whatever reason,
- 24:29Speaker 5: you can fit more in that basket.
- 24:30Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, that's right.
- 24:32Speaker 5: Uh, let's see, so we got I got a hastack,
- 24:34Speaker 5: might as I got a good one here. It's it's
- 24:35Speaker 5: kind of a Brian question. So like do different cuts
- 24:39Speaker 5: or different animals require different brine ratios?
- 24:43Speaker 6: So the Brian ratio is always good, like the salt
- 24:46Speaker 6: of sugar, salt to sugar to water is pettically going
- 24:49Speaker 6: to be the same, right, Brian is typically meant to
- 24:53Speaker 6: do its thing at a at a particular ratio, but
- 24:57Speaker 6: different flavors that go into those, you know, like you
- 25:00Speaker 6: have a red meat versus a white meat, I think
- 25:02Speaker 6: you will do use different flavors and more importantly, like
- 25:05Speaker 6: tougher cuts, leaner cuts versus more tender cuts. I would
- 25:10Speaker 6: never brine a tender cut of beef or a tender
- 25:12Speaker 6: cut of pork. You know, I'm not putting pork tender
- 25:14Speaker 6: loin into a brine. It's really for like tougher cuts
- 25:17Speaker 6: that have a lot of connected tissue. And I even
- 25:22Speaker 6: go to the point if it's if it's like pork,
- 25:26Speaker 6: for instance, we take the top off of a it's
- 25:30Speaker 6: like a it's it would be like the flat iron
- 25:33Speaker 6: of a beef, but it's called something else off the port.
- 25:36Speaker 6: It's called a I'm brain parting right now, but it's
- 25:40Speaker 6: a it's a tough part of sirloin, if you will,
- 25:42Speaker 6: off of the port, and it's tough, right, And so
- 25:45Speaker 6: we take what's called a jakard. It's it's like a
- 25:49Speaker 6: it almost looks like a block, right, if you can,
- 25:53Speaker 6: like a brick or something, and it has all these
- 25:55Speaker 6: blades that come down out of it and when you
- 25:57Speaker 6: press down onto the meat, the blades go in and
- 25:59Speaker 6: cut the muscle tissues. And what that does it offers
- 26:02Speaker 6: perporation in between the muscle tissues so that the brine
- 26:05Speaker 6: can get in there as well. And it works exceptionally well,
- 26:08Speaker 6: you know, it allows more it allows more brine to well, uh,
- 26:15Speaker 6: you know, like water water from the from the muscle
- 26:18Speaker 6: tissue to exchange. And that's what you're trying to do.
- 26:21Speaker 6: You're trying to you're trying to get the salty water,
- 26:23Speaker 6: salty brining water into the muscle tissue and pull the myoglobein,
- 26:27Speaker 6: if you will, out of the out of the muscle
- 26:30Speaker 6: tissue or that exchange so that when you cook it's
- 26:33Speaker 6: retaining moisture.
- 26:35Speaker 4: That's the smartest thing I've ever heard, and even the
- 26:39Speaker 4: smartest on the show show that just blows me.
- 26:41Speaker 3: Away hashtag munchies.
- 26:44Speaker 4: I got about fifteen pounds of Gator sauce it stashed
- 26:48Speaker 4: up for umber three.
- 26:49Speaker 3: What is the best way to cook it up?
- 26:53Speaker 6: You know, I'm a fan of eating Gator sausage as
- 26:55Speaker 6: it is like in a po boy or something, you know,
- 26:57Speaker 6: and people disagree with me here and I know care.
- 27:00Speaker 6: You know, like I always cook sausage in a steamy
- 27:03Speaker 6: bath first, not boiling, not boiling it and even in
- 27:06Speaker 6: steam because you know, like if you put it down
- 27:08Speaker 6: into the liquid, there's more density there. The skin of
- 27:11Speaker 6: the sausage is going to maintain. It's not going to pop,
- 27:14Speaker 6: it's not gonna break. And specifically with Gator super lean, right,
- 27:17Speaker 6: so you don't want any of the fat to leap
- 27:19Speaker 6: out of it while you're cooking it, or it's going
- 27:21Speaker 6: to be draggater and the you know, then you're going
- 27:23Speaker 6: to have a bad experience. So if you put it
- 27:25Speaker 6: into a steamy bath that you know, like one hundred
- 27:28Speaker 6: and seventy five degrees maybe a little bit lower, even
- 27:31Speaker 6: you don't want too much water motion, you don't want
- 27:34Speaker 6: too much bubbling to you know, like disrupt the sausage
- 27:38Speaker 6: coming apart er out the end, but that water is
- 27:41Speaker 6: going to heat it up faster, more efficiently. And then
- 27:45Speaker 6: once you get it hot, you take it out, you
- 27:47Speaker 6: let the skin steam dry, and then you put it
- 27:49Speaker 6: into your skillet or onto your grill, and you know
- 27:53Speaker 6: it's spending less time on there. If the skin does pop,
- 27:55Speaker 6: it's already ready to eat anyway, because the pin cooked already.
- 27:59Speaker 6: So you really just getting the skin to the place
- 28:01Speaker 6: to where you get the pop, right to where you
- 28:03Speaker 6: buy it, and you get to snap. And it's a
- 28:05Speaker 6: more effective it's a more efficient way of cooking sausage,
- 28:08Speaker 6: any sausage that has the skin on it.
- 28:12Speaker 4: So you just don't throw it on the grill like
- 28:14Speaker 4: I do, just pop it on there straight out of
- 28:15Speaker 4: the fridge. Okay, all right, okay, I'm gonna try your way.
- 28:19Speaker 4: I'm going to improve my sausage cooking here, chef. What's
- 28:23Speaker 4: your schedule like on a home a home game? I
- 28:28Speaker 4: know that I know the team's got to get fed.
- 28:30Speaker 4: You got other yeah, I'm sure you got other sports
- 28:32Speaker 4: to deal with. Do you do you feed the team?
- 28:35Speaker 4: Do you cook?
- 28:35Speaker 5: Do you get a chance to kind of like mingle
- 28:37Speaker 5: around and go check out some of the tailgating culinary fair.
- 28:42Speaker 6: Yeah, Saturdays are my only day off there you go,
- 28:47Speaker 6: good for you. So so people are always like, I know,
- 28:51Speaker 6: you got to do this, you got to do that.
- 28:52Speaker 6: And actually, you know, like I am more likely to
- 28:56Speaker 6: sit go home and you know, be at home, or
- 28:58Speaker 6: be at a friend's house or be a family members
- 28:59Speaker 6: how watching the game from their house. I usually do
- 29:02Speaker 6: make a couple of games a year with my kids
- 29:05Speaker 6: just to enjoy the experience. But you know, I I
- 29:10Speaker 6: love fans, right, but fans say some pretty pretty brutal
- 29:14Speaker 6: stuff about our boys sometimes, and being in that environment
- 29:18Speaker 6: sometimes this isn't always good easy for me, right, Like
- 29:21Speaker 6: listening to average you know, LSU fans kind of go
- 29:25Speaker 6: up and down with their opinion of the guys that
- 29:27Speaker 6: are playing on the field. So you know, I'm fully
- 29:31Speaker 6: brought into this. I'm quite passionate about it as well.
- 29:33Speaker 6: And I know these guys as well as anybody does here,
- 29:36Speaker 6: you know, like personality wise. So sometimes when you hear
- 29:39Speaker 6: that abrasive talk, it gets a little bit difficult, right.
- 29:44Speaker 6: So I cheer from home a lot. I will go
- 29:48Speaker 6: to a couple of games a year, and I do
- 29:49Speaker 6: go go and and mill about the friends tailgates. But honestly,
- 29:55Speaker 6: you know, it's just a lot less stress and and
- 29:58Speaker 6: I mean it's my data relax, So I usually take
- 30:02Speaker 6: that opportunity to do so.
- 30:05Speaker 3: Hashtag munchies.
- 30:07Speaker 4: In the nineteen eighties, LSU used to withhold serving milk
- 30:11Speaker 4: on Saturdays for football players.
- 30:14Speaker 2: Is this still a thing? Wild made them last?
- 30:27Speaker 6: That's a wild No, absolutely not still say thing like
- 30:33Speaker 6: what happened in the eighties.
- 30:36Speaker 4: The first time I've heard that one too, Chef oh Man,
- 30:40Speaker 4: that's a good one.
- 30:41Speaker 3: I actually had. I was on a team. I can't
- 30:43Speaker 3: remember which team it was.
- 30:44Speaker 5: Actually let you have a like one or two beers
- 30:47Speaker 5: the night before a game, so they I think that's
- 30:50Speaker 5: a little bit old school mentality.
- 30:52Speaker 6: Yeah, you know, I know a couple of guys that
- 30:54Speaker 6: are weightlifters that drink beer before they have you know,
- 30:59Speaker 6: like show where they performed, because it's like a caloric
- 31:02Speaker 6: intake without without any calorie or I don't know, I forget,
- 31:07Speaker 6: I forget what the explanation was, but it's it's like
- 31:09Speaker 6: empty calories that allows them to be full without without
- 31:13Speaker 6: actually eating something of that nature. I don't know, but
- 31:15Speaker 6: it's a weird deal.
- 31:16Speaker 3: Some like health terms go drinking beer? Yeah, smart, right, smart?
- 31:24Speaker 4: All right, chef, real quick, last one, where did you
- 31:27Speaker 4: watch the game Saturday?
- 31:31Speaker 6: So believe it or not? I went off short fishing
- 31:34Speaker 6: Saturday with my brother.
- 31:35Speaker 3: I believe it knowing you actually believe it very much.
- 31:38Speaker 6: Yeah, so I watched the game from my brother's camp
- 31:42Speaker 6: and grand out after a long day of fishing.
- 31:45Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 31:45Speaker 4: All right, now that's exactly where I thought you would
- 31:48Speaker 4: be if I'm being completely honest. Chef, we love you,
- 31:52Speaker 4: We thank you, and uh hopefully I'll run into you
- 31:54Speaker 4: on campus this weekend.
- 31:55Speaker 3: If not, I'll see very soon.
- 31:57Speaker 6: All right, look forward to you guys.
- 31:59Speaker 3: All right.
- 31:59Speaker 4: The chef, Michael Johnson joins us every sing Man week
- 32:03Speaker 4: to answer your munchie questions.
- 32:06Speaker 3: He is the man. Always appreciate our conversation. Brings a

- 32:35Speaker 4: Outside of Tiger Stadium, watching from your favorite dive ball,
- 32:39Speaker 4: or you're grilling in your backyard, do Seqis is the

- 35:14Speaker 3: But you know the Saved by the Bell.
- 35:15Speaker 5: Song, Yeah, it was a I think they were. It
- 35:18Speaker 5: was a competition at Bayside High to write the new school.

- 35:29Speaker 4: I remember friends Forever. Yep, the Zack attack Man. Absolutely,
- 35:34Speaker 4: it's solid dream though I know they pulled the rug
- 35:38Speaker 4: out from under us solid dream all those years ago.

- 35:44Speaker 4: Central Plumbing will never pulled the rug out from underneath them.

- 36:27Speaker 5: You invited me here on the show. Actually, a lot
- 36:29Speaker 5: of formal formal invitation.
- 36:33Speaker 4: Laundra is the one that brought your name up, so
- 36:36Speaker 4: so it's on her.
- 36:37Speaker 3: It is all on her. She vouched for me. You
- 36:39Speaker 3: didn't even vouch for me. No, Actually I voted against you.
- 36:43Speaker 4: It's fair if you lost, sure, So that means that
- 36:48Speaker 4: means voted for me.
- 36:50Speaker 3: Laundra voted for me. Yeah, you voted against me. Do
- 36:53Speaker 3: you think I do that? No? Yeah, you're right. You
- 36:57Speaker 3: just abstained from voting.
- 36:58Speaker 4: Yeah, can I confirm nor deny that. I look, I
- 37:05Speaker 4: I'll jokes aside. I am fired up for high school
- 37:07Speaker 4: football tonight, and I'm gonna give a shout out my
- 37:11Speaker 4: oldest son, Jackson.
- 37:12Speaker 3: He's a coach. Jackson gonna get his.
- 37:14Speaker 4: First real opportunity to go out there with the varsity squad.
- 37:18Speaker 4: And but he did really well. Last week he played
- 37:21Speaker 4: really good against Dunham.
- 37:22Speaker 3: High effort, high motor.
- 37:24Speaker 4: And so we have a lot of our listeners right
- 37:29Speaker 4: now that have gone through this process that have either
- 37:31Speaker 4: been through it and went through it ten, fifteen, twenty
- 37:33Speaker 4: years ago, they're currently going through it right now.
- 37:35Speaker 3: Or like you like you're one day you'll go through
- 37:37Speaker 3: it with Huck right now.
- 37:39Speaker 4: Man, I I'm really excited for this process, but I'm
- 37:43Speaker 4: really nervous.
- 37:44Speaker 3: Have you ever been nervous for a game? Now?
- 37:46Speaker 5: I'm assuming cause I get that way with like fight,
- 37:49Speaker 5: like watch him do anything right.
- 37:50Speaker 3: Yeah, It's like I was never just nervous for myself.
- 37:53Speaker 4: No, like, oh no, I can only imagine like sitting there,
- 37:56Speaker 4: he's throwing the pads on, going against them like the
- 37:59Speaker 4: the best of the best than high school football, about
- 38:02Speaker 4: the hit people in the face and get hit in
- 38:05Speaker 4: the face.
- 38:06Speaker 3: Yeah, I can't imagine.
- 38:08Speaker 4: Yeah, It's it is hard to explain because I'm just
- 38:12Speaker 4: not a nervous person when I play football, like not
- 38:16Speaker 4: one game and people will like find that hard. I'm
- 38:18Speaker 4: just no, because like I always felt like I was prepared.
- 38:20Speaker 4: I was ready to go. And if like if you're
- 38:21Speaker 4: not ready, like you're gonna get exposed, so you better
- 38:23Speaker 4: be ready. It doesn't matter the game, National Championship, first,
- 38:28Speaker 4: NFL game last, and what like whatever for your son
- 38:32Speaker 4: playing high school football. I'm like, oh, you know, you
- 38:35Speaker 4: can't control it obviously, Like that's a part of it.
- 38:38Speaker 3: You don't have the control.
- 38:39Speaker 4: Like it's him, like it's the work that he's put in,
- 38:41Speaker 4: and you can't you know, you don't have a say
- 38:44Speaker 4: in the outcome. You're sitting there in your a spectator
- 38:46Speaker 4: and then like also like you know, look, I don't
- 38:48Speaker 4: I don't want to be the dad. It's like, you know,
- 38:50Speaker 4: trying to tell you what to do, certainly like during
- 38:52Speaker 4: the game, like coaches, I mean, did I say I
- 38:55Speaker 4: was gonna yell out there if he's given lack of effort.
- 38:57Speaker 4: That's the only time if you give a lack of effort,
- 39:00Speaker 4: I hear me. But I am very excited. Man. He's
- 39:03Speaker 4: put in a lot of hard work, and you know
- 39:05Speaker 4: a lot of people have always told us this, but
- 39:06Speaker 4: like these are some of the times, like you can't
- 39:08Speaker 4: get them back. You only get so many, and so
- 39:11Speaker 4: our our high school football journey starts.
- 39:14Speaker 5: To get I'm excited about how excited that like I know,
- 39:18Speaker 5: just like you said, the listeners that have been through
- 39:20Speaker 5: it are going through it currently or now. Of course,
- 39:22Speaker 5: I got a lot of friends that have already been
- 39:24Speaker 5: through that, and they say, it's like the best part. Well,
- 39:27Speaker 5: some of the best parts of life is enjoying your
- 39:30Speaker 5: child do what they love to do, whether it's football,
- 39:32Speaker 5: whether it's dance, whatever, whatever it is. But to be
- 39:34Speaker 5: able there and sit and watch them do something that
- 39:37Speaker 5: they work hard for. I mean, that's all you can
- 39:40Speaker 5: hope and hope that they, you know, succeed with it.
- 39:43Speaker 5: But success comes in many different ways with kids. So
- 39:46Speaker 5: like it's a lot of people starting that journey, a
- 39:48Speaker 5: lot of people are continuing that journey this week with
- 39:51Speaker 5: with high school football, we wish all the high schools
- 39:53Speaker 5: out there successful seasons, enjoyable seasons, great games, great comp petition,
- 40:00Speaker 5: great victories.
- 40:01Speaker 4: Man, it's gonna be fun. Uh but man, what time,
- 40:04Speaker 4: What a time for those kids' lives. And yeah, good
- 40:07Speaker 4: luck to your son. I know he's gonna play well.
- 40:09Speaker 4: Coach Andy Martin over there running an incredible, incredible program.
- 40:13Speaker 3: I know y'all gonna have a good team. So just excited.
- 40:16Speaker 3: I can't wait to see all those big in inner city.
- 40:18Speaker 4: Matchups this week or this uh this year. Yeah, it's
- 40:21Speaker 4: gonna be some great ones. I mean, you know, it's
- 40:24Speaker 4: fun getting to play done on the last week and uh,
- 40:26Speaker 4: you know you High Catholic are gonna play.
- 40:28Speaker 3: Uh and the Car's got a.
- 40:30Speaker 4: National game coming up next week, American Heritage coming to
- 40:33Speaker 4: the Superdome. So I think it's actually I think it's
- 40:36Speaker 4: you High and Rummel are going to get it kicked
- 40:38Speaker 4: off in the Superdome and then American Heritage and the
- 40:41Speaker 4: Car playing each other. That's gonna be a massive That's
- 40:43Speaker 4: a nationally televised game, so cool.
- 40:46Speaker 3: And that what experience for those kids too? Man.
- 40:48Speaker 5: I I kind of know that experience because I still
- 40:52Speaker 5: have I remember very vividly, like being able to play
- 40:55Speaker 5: as a high school kid in Texas Stadium, like the
- 40:58Speaker 5: old school Texas Stadium. So like for those kids, we
- 41:00Speaker 5: want to go playing the Dome and let alone, but
- 41:03Speaker 5: playing on television.
- 41:04Speaker 3: Can you imagine maybe y'all did it. I don't know.
- 41:07Speaker 5: I'm sure y'all did do it. You just running the
- 41:09Speaker 5: coatails of rock Berlin. I get it smart, but I
- 41:12Speaker 5: couldn't imagine like how nervous I would be like you.
- 41:15Speaker 5: I was kind of nervous because, like what I did
- 41:17Speaker 5: was kind of like a fine motor skill position. I
- 41:19Speaker 5: think kickers, hitters, pitchers, quarterbacks get a little bit more
- 41:23Speaker 5: nervous because it's like if you're a little bit off,
- 41:25Speaker 5: Like it's very noticeable, like if you miss a block
- 41:27Speaker 5: by like if you hit his outside shoulder so it's
- 41:29Speaker 5: inside shoulders, it's not like real.
- 41:30Speaker 4: Yeah, noticeable running back and also helped me out. Yeah,
- 41:34Speaker 4: may have for it, Yeah for sure.
- 41:36Speaker 3: Yeah. We played a day loss out out of California
- 41:38Speaker 3: on ESPN. Smoked them.
- 41:40Speaker 4: No, that was a team that head one hundred and
- 41:42Speaker 4: fifteen game winning streak. We lost twenty twenty seven fourteen.
- 41:48Speaker 3: Yeah, we talked about that they were super well coached.
- 41:50Speaker 3: Oh my god, down sit.
- 41:53Speaker 4: It was like like the three step motion there.
- 41:56Speaker 3: So good luck to everybody.
- 41:58Speaker 4: Good Yeah, man, this is an incredible time, not only
- 42:01Speaker 4: for you as the player, but for the parents, grandparents, siblings,
- 42:05Speaker 4: Like I'm realizing you only get one opportunity at this
- 42:09Speaker 4: and I'm very excited that we're starting that journey.
- 42:11Speaker 3: And good luck to everybody. Yeah, good luck, stay safe
- 42:14Speaker 3: out there.
- 42:14Speaker 4: All right, we'll take our last break of the show.
- 42:17Speaker 4: We'll wrap it up answering your questions like we always do.
- 42:20Speaker 4: A little asked tomnch here on O TV off the.
- 42:23Speaker 3: Bench, all right.
- 42:26Speaker 4: So since the nineteen thirty Supreme Rice has been a
- 42:30Speaker 4: Louisiana favorite, the go to rice for jambalayas at two
- 42:34Speaker 4: Phase two's red beans and gumbos. So no matter your style,
- 42:37Speaker 4: it can be brown rice, long grain, medium grain, and jasmine.
- 42:41Speaker 3: Which is my personal favorite.
- 42:43Speaker 4: Our got Handy put me on that years ago and
- 42:46Speaker 4: I have not gotten off since. Supreme Rice makes your
- 42:49Speaker 4: favorite dishes even better. So Supreme Rice, you know, built
- 42:53Speaker 4: for those tailgates we got coming up this weekend, holidays,
- 42:56Speaker 4: or anytime you're bringing people together around the table. But
- 43:00Speaker 4: and you talk about tailgate season, Supreme Rice should be
- 43:02Speaker 4: at every single tailgate. Every bag is grown melt in
- 43:06Speaker 4: process right here in southwest Louisiana. So when you buy
- 43:09Speaker 4: your Supreme Rice, you're supporting Louisiana's farmers and saving money.
- 43:13Speaker 4: So the next time you're shopping pick up a bag
- 43:16Speaker 4: of Supreme Rice, it's going to be at Rouse's, Walmart, Kroger,
- 43:19Speaker 4: any ag food store. And for recipes and more, you
- 43:23Speaker 4: can always check them out at supremerice dot com. Again
- 43:26Speaker 4: it is the rice of tailgating season. So go to
- 43:29Speaker 4: that website today.
- 43:30Speaker 7: Supremerice dot com two thousand and seven.
- 43:58Speaker 1: Shams purple and gold to the core. This is off
- 44:02Speaker 1: the Bench with Hester and Flynn Matton Rougees go to
- 44:05Speaker 1: for all things Louisiana sports.
- 44:10Speaker 3: All right, welcome back again.
- 44:12Speaker 4: One final segment here one of mind your better friends
- 44:14Speaker 4: over at go flow iv spo, Go flow iv dot com,
- 44:17Speaker 4: Go flow iv dot com. Go see them today. Go
- 44:20Speaker 4: ahead and get your mind right again, good proactive for
- 44:24Speaker 4: the tailgating season that is upon you. And lookay if
- 44:28Speaker 4: you know, maybe you don't and you didn't listen to us,
- 44:30Speaker 4: It's okay.
- 44:31Speaker 3: Like Sunday, Like you know, you're like, oh my god,
- 44:33Speaker 3: Monday morning.
- 44:34Speaker 4: You can go see them as well on Sunday to
- 44:38Speaker 4: get to feeling a little bit better like your normal self.
- 44:41Speaker 3: Go flowiv dot com.
- 44:43Speaker 4: All right, let's get to some of your questions inside
- 44:45Speaker 4: about you four to chat here. Let's see ask the
- 44:53Speaker 4: bench what do you most want to see from l
- 44:56Speaker 4: s U Saturday.
- 44:59Speaker 5: Execute And that's a big broad statement, I get it,
- 45:03Speaker 5: But execute the little things. The intensity of the passion
- 45:06Speaker 5: is going to be manufactured this week. It's not gonna
- 45:08Speaker 5: be organic like it was in a big first week
- 45:12Speaker 5: game on the road against the Clemson. Look, you're gonna
- 45:14Speaker 5: have to manufacture your energy. You're gonna have to have
- 45:16Speaker 5: the leaders step up and make sure that there is
- 45:19Speaker 5: no dip in execution. So what I mean by that,
- 45:22Speaker 5: make sure we're making the right mic calls on the
- 45:24Speaker 5: offensive line, make sure we are are blocking schemes are correct.
- 45:27Speaker 5: Make sure we're playing throw and catch the same way
- 45:30Speaker 5: on defense. Make sure we're being gaps ound, make sure
- 45:32Speaker 5: we're dropping. There's limit the mental errors. That is what
- 45:36Speaker 5: I want to see.
- 45:37Speaker 3: Execute, Execute, Execute.
- 45:39Speaker 4: When a game that I know that the passion is
- 45:41Speaker 4: going to be a little bit down, just rely on
- 45:43Speaker 4: the x's and o's and execute.
- 45:45Speaker 3: Yeah, I think I'm right there with you.
- 45:47Speaker 4: I mean, I just want to see it be clean
- 45:49Speaker 4: and crispy and look like it's on schedule. And you know,
- 45:54Speaker 4: no mental bus, no coverage bus, no misassignments where it's
- 45:59Speaker 4: like a glaring like you're gonna miss like some small assignments.
- 46:02Speaker 4: But you know, hey, you know we're supposed to be
- 46:04Speaker 4: playing quarters and this side's playing quarters. But this side's
- 46:07Speaker 4: over here playing quarter quarter half and it's like, you know,
- 46:10Speaker 4: nobody's on the same page back there, Like just.
- 46:12Speaker 3: Make sure it's a clean game.
- 46:14Speaker 4: And I think that's exactly what you're gonna get from
- 46:17Speaker 4: the LSU Tiger.
- 46:18Speaker 3: So we're looking forward to it.
- 46:20Speaker 4: Remember we're gonna be on location at Rouse's tomorrow on Burbank.
- 46:24Speaker 4: But this has been a lot of fun, So go
- 46:26Speaker 4: check them out pro dash Dreams dot com. We'll see
- 46:29Speaker 4: you at the same time, the same place tomorrow. Until then,
- 46:31Speaker 4: enjoy the rest of your morning later.
- 46:34Speaker 3: Off the bench, after bench. All Right.

- 46:43Speaker 4: up to work with. And as we've told you over
