- 0:25Speaker 1: It is time to leave your warriors outside and laugh
- 0:29Speaker 1: with us inside the Treehouse. I'm Daniel Malley along with
- 0:32Speaker 1: Trey Trenholm. Hopefully we have our buddy Raj back on
- 0:38Speaker 1: the show tomorrow, which, by the way, is the day
- 0:41Speaker 1: before our road show. Tomorrow's the day before today. It's
- 0:47Speaker 1: you know, two days before, because in today's Wednesday, the
- 0:49Speaker 1: twenty fifth. This Friday at Shakerton's n Arlington, a Treehouse roadshow,
- 0:54Speaker 1: Whoo Whoop, five to seven pm. Happy Hour made happier
- 1:00Speaker 1: when you do it at Shaker Tins in Arlington with
- 1:03Speaker 1: us while watching a live taping of the Treehouse one
- 1:07Speaker 1: of those episodes kind of like Cheers or all those
- 1:10Speaker 1: old sitcoms where you get to say the Treehouse taped
- 1:13Speaker 1: before a live studio audience. That would be you. You
- 1:16Speaker 1: would be the live studio audience on Friday at Shakerton's
- 1:18Speaker 1: in Arlington. I thirty in Collins five to seven pm.
- 1:22Speaker 1: I have a couple of games and things to give
- 1:24Speaker 1: away and merch available for purchase as well. Looking forward
- 1:28Speaker 1: to seeing and hanging out with you on Friday at
- 1:30Speaker 1: Shaker Tins, Arlington five to seven pm. Yeah, trade, do
- 1:39Speaker 1: you ever think back on the years that we've done
- 1:42Speaker 1: this show, whether it's in radio form or even in
- 1:44Speaker 1: its current digital form. And think, man, if there was
- 1:49Speaker 1: one guest I wish we could have, who would it be?
- 1:53Speaker 1: And I know I'm putting on the spot here, so
- 1:54Speaker 1: take a brief moment to collect your thoughts or maybe
- 1:57Speaker 1: you have someone right off the top of your head.
- 2:02Speaker 2: Ah, there's one guess we could have.
- 2:11Speaker 1: I have lots, but there's one that stands out right
- 2:13Speaker 1: now because I'm going to use it for a secuay.
- 2:19Speaker 2: That that's a lot. That's a.
- 2:22Speaker 1: Big question, right question. Whoever it is, it's probably not
- 2:26Speaker 1: gonna happen, so it really doesn't matter. It's not like
- 2:28Speaker 1: like if you say Scarlet Johansen, probably ain't gonna happen.
- 2:34Speaker 1: But you know, you never never say never, but probably not.
- 2:36Speaker 2: I mean you know that I always say. The two
- 2:45Speaker 2: shockingly just cool nice people were John bon Jovi and
- 2:50Speaker 2: Richie Sambora.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Yeah, those are people that we actually did have on
- 2:54Speaker 1: the show way in.
- 2:55Speaker 2: Studio, and yeah, if you remember they had done morning radio,
- 3:02Speaker 2: they stuck around as we were doing afternoons at the
- 3:03Speaker 2: time on one, five three, and not only stuck around
- 3:07Speaker 2: did the show, but then they stood around for like
- 3:09Speaker 2: another half hour taking pictures with everybody, like everybody in
- 3:13Speaker 2: the station, because obviously that was the one day everyone
- 3:15Speaker 2: in the station was in the building because.
- 3:17Speaker 1: They Yeah, there was no money made at the station
- 3:20Speaker 1: that day, sales did not go out, make any calls.
- 3:23Speaker 1: Everything was done in house.
- 3:24Speaker 2: Yeah. But uh so, Yeah, but that's a fascinating question
- 3:29Speaker 2: I have to ponder.
- 3:32Speaker 1: Well, I've got an answer for it.
- 3:34Speaker 3: For me.
- 3:34Speaker 1: That's currently at the top of my list, and that
- 3:37Speaker 1: is the swat robot that Dallas police used July seventh
- 3:44Speaker 1: to take out the man that killed five officers that day. Okay,
- 3:48Speaker 1: obviously that's impossible because that swat robot gave its life
- 3:54Speaker 1: killing that pos But there's another one that has now
- 4:00Speaker 1: thrust itself into the limelight. Even though we know that
- 4:04Speaker 1: police officers don't typically seek out that attention. Sometimes when
- 4:09Speaker 1: you do just such an amazing job, the spotlight finds you.
- 4:16Speaker 1: There's more than one swat robot in this country, and
- 4:19Speaker 1: there's more than one swat robot in Texas, and they're
- 4:22Speaker 1: not all in major cities either. In fact, Lubbock even
- 4:26Speaker 1: as I mean, look, if if if McKinney can have
- 4:32Speaker 1: a military grade armored personnel carrier that they take out,
- 4:36Speaker 1: you know, for special events and things. By god, Lubbock
- 4:40Speaker 1: can have their own version of a SWAT robot, especially
- 4:44Speaker 1: if they're having to deal with a barricaded person at
- 4:46Speaker 1: a motel and they're just absolutely you know, just sick
- 4:51Speaker 1: of they're you know, and then you send them, you
- 4:54Speaker 1: send them the robot.
- 4:56Speaker 2: I mean, Lubbock has a better chance of needing a
- 4:58Speaker 2: Keg robot, you know, for the Kegger's Gone Wild at
- 5:01Speaker 2: Texas Tech.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Look, if we're being on is it's a dual purpose robot.
- 5:05Speaker 1: You know, it's not limited to one one function. It
- 5:10Speaker 1: can roll out the back of a police tahoe just
- 5:13Speaker 1: as well as it can a you know, a beer truck.
- 5:16Speaker 2: If you ever want to know why the funding of
- 5:19Speaker 2: things is really screwed up, this is a great example.
- 5:22Speaker 2: And you have big, large metropolitan areas that struggle for
- 5:26Speaker 2: modern day equipment, but then you have suburbs that have
- 5:28Speaker 2: state of the art stuff that they'll never use no offense. McKinney.
- 5:32Speaker 1: Yeah, the chances of them needing it extremely extremely slim. Instead,
- 5:38Speaker 1: they take it, you know, for press things, and they
- 5:40Speaker 1: take it to school isn't the kids climb around? I
- 5:42Speaker 1: don't like it's a piece of jungle gym equipment. Yeah,
- 5:45Speaker 1: But Lubbock, on the other hand, says, no, no, no,
- 5:47Speaker 1: we need us a swat robot, and by god, they
- 5:50Speaker 1: put that bitch to use. Did you see this last week? No,
- 5:56Speaker 1: I would think that. Actually, let me show this to you. Okay,
- 6:00Speaker 1: this is from a news report and it shows the
- 6:04Speaker 1: swat robot that looks like something out of BattleBots going
- 6:08Speaker 1: to get a suspect that's barricaded himself on the second
- 6:11Speaker 1: floor of a motel unit. All right, and hold this up,
- 6:17Speaker 1: and then, luckily we have the handy dandy news crew
- 6:20Speaker 1: to tell you all the details going on as the
- 6:24Speaker 1: video shows the three wheeled robot engaging with the suspect,
- 6:31Speaker 1: taking a.
- 6:31Speaker 4: Closer look at a dramatic Islamic standoff where multiple shots
- 6:35Speaker 4: were fine.
- 6:36Speaker 1: Look, there's lots of things I love about this video,
- 6:38Speaker 1: but one of my favorites, Tray, might actually be the
- 6:43Speaker 1: the graphic that pops in from the Newspeople that says
- 6:48Speaker 1: swat robot and an arrow pointing at the very obvious
- 6:51Speaker 1: robot as if there were multiple in the frame.
- 6:54Speaker 2: That would confuse you it didn't actually say robot swat.
- 6:57Speaker 1: Yes, I'm sorry. It does say robot swat. Sorry, slumb standoff,
- 7:01Speaker 1: robot swat arrow right over the top. Is there another
- 7:04Speaker 1: one in the frame that you were going to be
- 7:06Speaker 1: confused with? There's no other object in that shot other
- 7:10Speaker 1: than the balcony railing. That's it. I've never confused a
- 7:13Speaker 1: balcony railing with a robot, let alone a swat one.
- 7:17Speaker 1: But here we it's West Texas, I guess whatever.
- 7:19Speaker 4: For Multiple shots were fired and one person was injured.
- 7:23Speaker 4: Thirty nine Felix dela Rosa was one.
- 7:26Speaker 1: So Felix Dela Rosa, the suspect decides that he's not
- 7:29Speaker 1: gonna take it from the swat robot, and he's gonna
- 7:32Speaker 1: he's gonna blind it by throwing some sheets and towels
- 7:36Speaker 1: over it so it can't see.
- 7:40Speaker 5: It.
- 7:40Speaker 4: For role violation. That's why officers tracked him to the hotel,
- 7:44Speaker 4: but when he fired shots, they called in the Lebbey
- 7:46Speaker 4: County Swat team. At one point we saw and heard
- 7:49Speaker 4: him fire at a bomb squad robot. Take a listen,
- 7:54Speaker 4: it's frayed tear gas.
- 8:00Speaker 1: Look. I saw this movie in the eighties. It was
- 8:02Speaker 1: called short circuit circuit five and Johnny five whooped some ass. Okay,
- 8:08Speaker 1: that was the eighties version. The twenty first century version,
- 8:12Speaker 1: at least the version that Dallas Police Department deployed with
- 8:16Speaker 1: a barricaded suspect, a barricaded gunman. It told me he
- 8:20Speaker 1: had a phone call, and when he went to grab
- 8:24Speaker 1: a hold of what looked to be a cell phone
- 8:27Speaker 1: turned out to be a big old brick at see
- 8:29Speaker 1: four blew him all to hell. If you're a bad
- 8:33Speaker 1: guy and you see the cops call in robot swat,
- 8:39Speaker 1: just throw the weapon down, put your hands up, and
- 8:42Speaker 1: eat concrete, because I wouldn't trust it. I don't care
- 8:46Speaker 1: if they say you got a phone call. I don't
- 8:48Speaker 1: care if they say it's got a pizza coming for
- 8:51Speaker 1: you or a hot pocket. Don't you take it. You
- 8:54Speaker 1: surrender like a good boy.
- 8:56Speaker 4: I's end of Dela Rosa's hotel room. Initially, Dela rosaid
- 8:59Speaker 4: tried to fight the robot, even throwing sheets of it
- 9:01Speaker 4: looks like towels at it, but that didn't stop the
- 9:04Speaker 4: robot from the ploying gas. We watch his Dally Roussa
- 9:07Speaker 4: crawled out of that window and onto the ground.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Whether now this is my other favorite part. So there's three.
- 9:11Speaker 1: There's three major parts that I love about this video.
- 9:14Speaker 1: Number one robot Swat and the very handy dandy graphic
- 9:17Speaker 1: showing us in fact which one was the robot. The
- 9:21Speaker 1: other part is when the robot starts shooting a tear
- 9:27Speaker 1: gas in through the busted at window that this guy
- 9:30Speaker 1: is hiding inside in this motel. And then of course
- 9:33Speaker 1: the tear gas does its job and the man escapes
- 9:35Speaker 1: out of that window through the path of Johnny five
- 9:40Speaker 1: robots Swat from Lubbock. And that's when Johnny five decides
- 9:44Speaker 1: I'm going to engage this suspect.
- 9:46Speaker 4: The robot pinned him until officers took him into custody,
- 9:50Speaker 4: taking out I'm going to melt you.
- 9:53Speaker 1: It did, Johnny five said. You know what, I've never
- 9:55Speaker 1: experienced physical love.
- 9:57Speaker 2: I'm gonna hump your leg.
- 10:01Speaker 1: That's pretty bad though, When when the suspects getting mounted
- 10:04Speaker 1: by the robot SWAD and he starts calling out, can
- 10:07Speaker 1: you send it in the dogs please? I'd much prefer
- 10:14Speaker 1: the fir missile run about now. And here's the other
- 10:19Speaker 1: thing too. You're gonna go to jail, right, You're gonna
- 10:21Speaker 1: go to jail and it's gonna be for a long time,
- 10:23Speaker 1: and when you get there, you're gonna be the guy
- 10:26Speaker 1: that shows up to jail that got arrested by being
- 10:31Speaker 1: humped by the swat robot.
- 10:35Speaker 5: That I mean swat literally is just going. He's going, Hey,
- 10:46Speaker 5: when are you swat robot?
- 10:49Speaker 1: You know they were fighting over it.
- 10:51Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I would have played with Johnny lift.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Let me control the limb. No, you had it last week.
- 10:56Speaker 1: It's my turn. It'd be like you and me fighting
- 10:58Speaker 1: over whose turn it is on Super Mario. I want
- 11:01Speaker 1: to rescue the Princess this time. That would be really
- 11:09Speaker 1: good if it actually made Mario game noises and music
- 11:14Speaker 1: as it ran over the purp and mounted him.
- 11:17Speaker 2: Yeah, that would have been fitting right as he's mounting.
- 11:23Speaker 1: Man, I wish I had that jingle Right now.
- 11:25Speaker 3: You're visit us online at Treehouse on air dot com.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Let's get you into a new car from our friends
- 11:42Speaker 1: at fair Lease. Go to Fairlease dot organ and actually
- 11:45Speaker 1: start shopping inventory that they've got right now available for
- 11:48Speaker 1: you for lease. And you can save a bunch of
- 11:52Speaker 1: time when you shop right there online, not wasting it
- 11:54Speaker 1: at a dealership, and you can save a bunch of
- 11:56Speaker 1: money too, because when you lease versus buy, you save
- 11:59Speaker 1: a lot of money, and you can save even more
- 12:01Speaker 1: money depending on the vehicle that you lease. So that's
- 12:04Speaker 1: what fair Leaves can do for you. Save you time
- 12:06Speaker 1: and they can save you money. And in some cases

- 12:11Speaker 1: down and no payments for ninety days. Wouldn't that be nice?
- 12:15Speaker 1: No car payment for ninety days, and then when one
- 12:17Speaker 1: kicks in, it's going to be less than what it
- 12:19Speaker 1: would be if you were buying that car to dealership.
- 12:22Speaker 1: And even if what you want they don't have in stock,
- 12:25Speaker 1: they'll go get it for you and then they'll bring
- 12:27Speaker 1: it to you. That's a really big aspect of saving
- 12:31Speaker 1: time and then no wasting time inside some sales manager's

- 13:21Speaker 3: air dot com.
- 13:25Speaker 1: Thanks for letting me know if I have any sort
- 13:26Speaker 1: of Internet issues today. I know it's a kind of challenging,
- 13:30Speaker 1: uh sometimes when we do these shows recording remotely, but
- 13:32Speaker 1: it makes it all worthwhile being able to do what
- 13:34Speaker 1: we love from pretty much anywhere, even though right now,
- 13:37Speaker 1: I mean you're in Dallas and I'm in Los Colleen's.
- 13:39Speaker 1: But still we can still do it from anywhere. And
- 13:41Speaker 1: we have also quick reminder that first segment brought to
- 13:45Speaker 1: you by fair Lease. To save time and money on
- 13:47Speaker 1: your next new car, go to fairlease dot org. Give
- 13:51Speaker 1: them a call and tell them, Hey, the boys in
- 13:54Speaker 1: the Treehouse sent me and they said you could help
- 13:55Speaker 1: me save a lot of time and a lot of
- 13:57Speaker 1: money when I lease from you at fair lease and
- 13:59Speaker 1: then they'll do it pretty cool. Go to fairlease dot org.
- 14:02Speaker 1: That's fair lease dot org. Thank you to fair Least
- 14:04Speaker 1: for making five days a week inside the tree house possible. Now,
- 14:10Speaker 1: speaking of being able to do what we love from anywhere,
- 14:15Speaker 1: it's very important. It is essential for us to be
- 14:18Speaker 1: able to do this job from anywhere in the world
- 14:23Speaker 1: because internet got to have the Internet, it's got to
- 14:25Speaker 1: be at least decent enough Internet to where we can
- 14:27Speaker 1: do these video calls and record all of it and
- 14:30Speaker 1: put it in an audio form where everyone can enjoy it.
- 14:32Speaker 2: Right.
- 14:35Speaker 1: The problem sometimes comes in when the Internet hiccups or
- 14:40Speaker 1: doesn't you know, something kind of falls out and then
- 14:42Speaker 1: kicks back in and Wi Fi is not dependable because
- 14:45Speaker 1: it's just over air type of things. So we always
- 14:47Speaker 1: prefer to plug in when possible, Like right now, I'm
- 14:50Speaker 1: plugged in and I'm with this place that I'm renting
- 14:54Speaker 1: right now in Las Colinus uses the spectrum, and we'll
- 14:57Speaker 1: do a speed test before we start in. My speed
- 14:58Speaker 1: test today said two thirty down and anywhere between twenty
- 15:02Speaker 1: and twenty five up. You know what, if you're just
- 15:04Speaker 1: doing normal computer Internet stuff, that's phenomenal. We're you're doing,
- 15:08Speaker 1: you know, hour long video calls or trying to play
- 15:11Speaker 1: the haunting season of Call of Duty. You need better
- 15:14Speaker 1: numbers than that, but we deal with what we got.
- 15:18Speaker 1: It's also pretty disconcerting if you happen to be gaming
- 15:22Speaker 1: or doing a video call a very important work thing
- 15:25Speaker 1: online and you use Spectrum and you hear a commotion outside,
- 15:30Speaker 1: and when you look outside to see whatever is the matter,
- 15:33Speaker 1: it's a truck being stolen with a Spectrum utility worker
- 15:38Speaker 1: still in the bucket.
- 15:40Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:43Speaker 1: I mean that's going to be distracting when you're on
- 15:46Speaker 1: your very important video call with the boss, you know,
- 15:49Speaker 1: trying to look busy and making sure that you know
- 15:51Speaker 1: you're not slacking or trying to improve your KD ratio
- 15:55Speaker 1: is going to be very difficult when there's some guys
- 15:57Speaker 1: screaming past your window going help me in the Spectrum bucket.
- 16:01Speaker 1: But that's exactly what happened recently in Caldwell County, North Carolina.
- 16:08Speaker 1: A major highway reopened more than twelve hours after someone
- 16:11Speaker 1: stolen crashed a Spectrum bucket truck. Police said it happened
- 16:16Speaker 1: while a utility worker was in the bucket repairing a
- 16:19Speaker 1: line along highway eighteen in Caldwell County, North Carolina. Investigators
- 16:24Speaker 1: said the suspect drove south the Long Highway eighteen before crashing.
- 16:29Speaker 1: When the truck was stolen, its boom was extended as
- 16:32Speaker 1: the thief drove more than a half mile down the road,
- 16:35Speaker 1: striking utility lines. If you're the Spectrum dude in the bucket,
- 16:40Speaker 1: you're just crouched in the bucket praying, right, There's really
- 16:43Speaker 1: nothing you can do at that point, no God, I mean,
- 16:48Speaker 1: the only other option is to jump or try to
- 16:50Speaker 1: slide down the boom, and when the vehicle is in motion,
- 16:53Speaker 1: probably not the best of ideas. Police said that while
- 16:56Speaker 1: the spectrum worker was attached to a safety hardness, it's
- 17:05Speaker 1: really terrible just imagining he slips out of the bucket.
- 17:08Speaker 1: Now he's just dangling. At some point he came out
- 17:16Speaker 1: of the bucket and was suspended in the air by
- 17:18Speaker 1: a safety strap attached to the bucket.
- 17:21Speaker 2: So he really did look like a.
- 17:22Speaker 1: Human windsock on the end of this Spectrum bucket. The
- 17:25Speaker 1: poor guy. Oh, the worker was finally able to cut
- 17:29Speaker 1: the safety line and fell to the ground, injuring his leg. So,
- 17:34Speaker 1: after being whipped around at the end of the boom
- 17:36Speaker 1: for a while. He said, I'll effort. I'm just gonna
- 17:39Speaker 1: cut myself loose and see what happens.
- 17:42Speaker 2: I mean that that's a versus moment of what do
- 17:47Speaker 2: you do? Do you ride it out? Do you cut?
- 17:51Speaker 2: Let cut the cord and let gravity would do its work.
- 17:57Speaker 1: All right, here we go, Welcome to this impromptu version
- 18:02Speaker 1: of versus. Today's contestant is Trey, and I'll participate as
- 18:09Speaker 1: both host and contestant. Number two. In verses, we pose
- 18:13Speaker 1: a very difficult scenario in which you have to choose one.
- 18:17Speaker 2: Or the other.
- 18:18Speaker 1: So here we have it. You are a spectrum worker
- 18:20Speaker 1: in the bucket and you are fully extended trying to
- 18:23Speaker 1: repair a line in North Carolina when suddenly the truck
- 18:27Speaker 1: is stolen and you are attached and stuck in the bucket.
- 18:31Speaker 1: And then after they hit a really big speed bump,
- 18:33Speaker 1: you then fall out of the bucket, but you have
- 18:35Speaker 1: a safety harness and you are strapped to the bucket
- 18:39Speaker 1: quote unquote safely. But now you're flapping in the wind
- 18:43Speaker 1: like a wind sock at the airport.
- 18:45Speaker 3: What do you do?
- 18:47Speaker 1: Do you cut the line or do you throw yourself
- 18:54Speaker 1: and caution to the wind and just wait it out, Trey.
- 18:58Speaker 1: I'll give you a moment to think about your answer.
- 18:59Speaker 1: I'll do it. Say you're a spectrum worker in a
- 19:02Speaker 1: truck bucket, it gets stolen, you are tossed out of
- 19:05Speaker 1: the bucket while in a high speed pursuit. Do you
- 19:10Speaker 1: cut your safety harness and fall to the ground or
- 19:13Speaker 1: do you wait it out? Srey.
- 19:20Speaker 2: That's a tough one. I'm gonna go with wait it out,
- 19:24Speaker 2: Kinna wait it out?
- 19:25Speaker 1: Yeah, Okay, that's pretty interesting. You know what, I am
- 19:28Speaker 1: absolutely with you. I am not cutting that line. There
- 19:31Speaker 1: is no way in hell I'm cutting that line. It's
- 19:33Speaker 1: called the safety harness for a reason. I'm assuming it
- 19:36Speaker 1: wasn't graded or rated for uh, you know, the truck
- 19:39Speaker 1: being stolen and dealing with you know, certain wind resistance
- 19:43Speaker 1: and things like that. But I feel safer if I
- 19:45Speaker 1: can just try to get myself, try to crawl back
- 19:47Speaker 1: in the bucket and definitely not cut that line.
- 19:52Speaker 2: Yeah, because at least if if you don't cut the line,
- 19:54Speaker 2: you have the hope that the truck slows down, something happens,
- 20:00Speaker 2: and uh you can uh you can fall to the
- 20:04Speaker 2: earth more gently. But if you're in a high going,
- 20:07Speaker 2: high speed you know, you've got it's a lot of factors,
- 20:11Speaker 2: but that's gonna hurt when you when you know one,
- 20:16Speaker 2: if you stay in there, you have a chance that
- 20:18Speaker 2: it won't hurt too bad. But if you cut that line,
- 20:20Speaker 2: you know it's gonna hurt, and.
- 20:22Speaker 1: You're gonna and you're gonna see it come right at
- 20:25Speaker 1: you really fast, and so you'll have that realization like
- 20:28Speaker 1: he probably did really quickly. Oh, I've chosen poorly because
- 20:34Speaker 1: I don't know if you know this, but asphalt hurts.
- 20:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 20:38Speaker 1: Now, I guess the only way where it might get
- 20:40Speaker 1: tempting is if the boom swings out and this particular
- 20:43Speaker 1: highway has a nice, large grassy median in the middle
- 20:48Speaker 1: that you could maybe fall to. Maybe then it might
- 20:52Speaker 1: be tempting. But otherwise I'm just gonna I'm just gonna
- 20:54Speaker 1: remain on the dangle ride. Well.
- 20:56Speaker 2: Yeah, Also, because if you cut the line, you also
- 20:58Speaker 2: and then you land in the road, you also have
- 21:01Speaker 2: to hope that there's not someone else on the road
- 21:04Speaker 2: that is distracted, texting, doing something and plows you over.
- 21:08Speaker 1: As if as if hitting the highway asphalt at seventy
- 21:12Speaker 1: miles an hour wouldn't hurt enough oh, by the way,
- 21:15Speaker 1: here comes a Kia Sedona. Yeah, likew ow, it hurts,
- 21:23Speaker 1: It really hurts. If only there was some way for
- 21:25Speaker 1: someone to end my pain and if I lost my
- 21:29Speaker 1: buttons hang on, Nope, that's wrong one, I went too far.
- 21:34Speaker 1: There it is, there's that Kia. Oh, thank god, it
- 21:36Speaker 1: put me out of my misery. Or even better, when
- 21:41Speaker 1: you when you're at the hospital, if you survive and
- 21:44Speaker 1: your fellow workers show up and say, should have stayed
- 21:47Speaker 1: in the bucket? Dude, Yeah, don't you remember our training?
- 21:52Speaker 1: Always stay in the bucket. That is home. That's where
- 21:56Speaker 1: you want to stay that. If you're it's like you're
- 21:58Speaker 1: a turtle, that's your shell. Don't leave your shell. You
- 22:01Speaker 1: stay in that bucket no matter what. And now he's
- 22:04Speaker 1: a cautionary tale. It doesn't say how badly he hurt
- 22:09Speaker 1: his leg, but I'm imagining it's pretty bad. I don't
- 22:11Speaker 1: think it's one of those that he just had like
- 22:13Speaker 1: a like a raspberry on his knee and e MT
- 22:16Speaker 1: personnel just rate some bac ten on it.
- 22:18Speaker 2: No, that's some that's probably some great a road rash.
- 22:22Speaker 1: Oh god, oh, you don't want bac teine on that.
- 22:29Speaker 1: And they come in to blow on it, which actually
- 22:31Speaker 1: makes it worse. Yeah, you're right, that's you're a turtle.
- 22:38Speaker 1: At that point, I am going back inside and I'm
- 22:41Speaker 1: not sticking my head out again until someone says it's
- 22:44Speaker 1: absolutely safe to do so. I now live in this bucket.

- 24:25Speaker 1: you very much. Speaking of wanting to see more of something,
- 24:32Speaker 1: I don't know why, but I'm not. Okay, let me
- 24:36Speaker 1: start over. I love football. I love the NFL. I
- 24:39Speaker 1: love watching the NFL, and I love that they have
- 24:43Speaker 1: multiple nights of football. You got Monday night, Sunday all day,
- 24:47Speaker 1: and in tonight. Later in the season you get Saturday games,
- 24:50Speaker 1: and you also have Thursday Night football. And for whatever reason,
- 24:56Speaker 1: I don't watch it as much as Sunday. I don't
- 24:58Speaker 1: know if it's tradition or what or some times the
- 25:00Speaker 1: matchups on Thursday Night football are not that exciting.
- 25:04Speaker 2: Are the fact that's on Amazon.
- 25:06Speaker 1: There's that now. I'm I'm an Amazon Prime member so
- 25:08Speaker 1: I can see it. But that can be you know,
- 25:12Speaker 1: you know, a hindrance to some people. But Amazon does
- 25:16Speaker 1: a pretty good job with the Thursday night football games.
- 25:20Speaker 1: Al Michaels is, of course a legend. He does great
- 25:22Speaker 1: on the play by play. I'm not sold on Kirk
- 25:26Speaker 1: Herb Street as the color commentator on pro games just
- 25:30Speaker 1: because I'm so used to him being attached to college stuff.
- 25:33Speaker 1: But he's kind of grown on me. I don't know,
- 25:36Speaker 1: It's okay, he.
- 25:37Speaker 2: Does a good job. I'm I prefer him doing college stuff,
- 25:41Speaker 2: but I I get you know, so I totally get
- 25:43Speaker 2: your point. Yeah, he I'll say this, he's seeing he
- 25:48Speaker 2: has more. Obviously, college is something he's i would say,
- 25:52Speaker 2: more passionate about. And you know, and he and Fowler
- 25:55Speaker 2: on Saturday Saturday Night college football are just the best.
- 25:59Speaker 1: They're really out And to dress up the Thursday night
- 26:05Speaker 1: football a little bit, to get more of a presentation
- 26:08Speaker 1: on it, they decided to expand outside of the normal
- 26:14Speaker 1: football realm and bring in some other talent to help
- 26:18Speaker 1: dress up the game presentation. I'm talking about Nikki Glazer's
- 26:22Speaker 1: stand up comedian who anyone who follows stand up comedy
- 26:26Speaker 1: has heard of her. She's very well known in the
- 26:27Speaker 1: comedy world, in the comedy circles. If you've watched any roasts,
- 26:31Speaker 1: you really know who Nikki Glazer is. And she got
- 26:33Speaker 1: really popular, really extra famous after roasting the ever loving
- 26:39Speaker 1: out of Tom Brady on that Netflix roast, and to
- 26:42Speaker 1: capitalize on that attention, Amazon said, hey, Nikki, you want
- 26:46Speaker 1: to come do a bit on Thursday Night Football? And
- 26:50Speaker 1: she said, why, Sure, I'd love to. And I don't
- 26:54Speaker 1: know about you, Trey, but I love when NFL players
- 26:56Speaker 1: get roasted because they don't know how to handle it.
- 26:58Speaker 1: They're not used to being talked to. Fashion No, and uh,
- 27:04Speaker 1: I got I got to say. I think Nicki Glazer
- 27:08Speaker 1: went easy on the Amazon Prime Thursday Night Football. Folks.
- 27:13Speaker 4: Have you seen this?
- 27:14Speaker 2: I have not.
- 27:16Speaker 1: You are You're in for a treat, my friend, You're
- 27:18Speaker 1: in for a treat. This was last week on the
- 27:22Speaker 1: game presentation Amazon Prime, where they've got Carissa Thompson, You've
- 27:27Speaker 1: got uh, Richard Sherman, you got you got twenty Gonzales.
- 27:33Speaker 1: Uh the what's the guy with the beard? She says
- 27:36Speaker 1: it in here. He just retired from the Rams. H Whitworth, Yes,
- 27:40Speaker 1: Andrew Andrew Whitworth. So and now she's now she's gonna
- 27:44Speaker 1: come on TV and she's gonna, you know, and she's
- 27:45Speaker 1: gonna say, Hi, I'm Nicki Glazer. I'm not gonna make
- 27:48Speaker 1: fun of you people, even though we just met. And
- 27:51Speaker 1: I hope that this becomes a regular thing. Hang on saying,
- 27:56Speaker 1: let me get this volume back at where it should be.
- 27:59Speaker 7: I say, it's so nice to finally meet the photo
- 28:02Speaker 7: I show my plastic surgeon.
- 28:04Speaker 1: I should probably say she's talking to Carissa Thompson there.
- 28:13Speaker 7: I just have to say, it's so nice to finally
- 28:15Speaker 7: meet the photo I show my plastic surgeon. But seriously,
- 28:19Speaker 7: you were pretty intimidating. You look like the final boss
- 28:22Speaker 7: at a country club.
- 28:26Speaker 1: See as far as roasts go. Nicki Glazy's being pretty
- 28:29Speaker 1: sweet there to Charrissa Thompson, and she's not wrong. She
- 28:32Speaker 1: does actually kind of look like the final boss at
- 28:33Speaker 1: at a nightclub. Truly, I am so thrilled to be here.
- 28:38Speaker 7: I want to be honest. I am pretty new to football.
- 28:41Speaker 7: I used to think it's two min at warning with
- 28:42Speaker 7: something a guy gave you one minute into sex.
- 28:44Speaker 1: But this is one of those moments where I think
- 28:49Speaker 1: everyone on his head is like, WHOA, isn't that what
- 28:52Speaker 1: you brought her on for.
- 28:56Speaker 2: Yeah, you know exactly what you're gonna get, and she delivered.
- 29:02Speaker 2: Uh huh.
- 29:03Speaker 7: For instance, today I found out that I look like
- 29:06Speaker 7: forty nine ers tight ened George Kittle.
- 29:15Speaker 1: Yeah if that is if she, you know, had just
- 29:17Speaker 1: gotten out of the shower at a trailer.
- 29:19Speaker 2: Yeah, okay.
- 29:23Speaker 7: People are probably expecting me to get up here and
- 29:25Speaker 7: just like roast everyone. But this isn't a roast like
- 29:28Speaker 7: you guys didn't sign up for this, so I'm definitely
- 29:31Speaker 7: not gonna say that.
- 29:32Speaker 1: Richard Sherman looks like when you paused, uh huh that
- 29:45Speaker 1: that was my plan because he really does look people,
- 29:51Speaker 1: you gotta be careful about ozimpic if you know, if
- 29:53Speaker 1: you're not, you're not using it properly. You can go
- 29:56Speaker 1: sideways on You're real fast. Oh, I'll be backed up above.
- 30:03Speaker 1: Love that line.
- 30:04Speaker 7: Expect me to get up here and just like roast everyone,
- 30:06Speaker 7: but this isn't a roast like you guys didn't sign
- 30:09Speaker 7: up for this, so I'm definitely not gonna say that.
- 30:12Speaker 7: Richard Sherman looks like I'm gonna do that.
- 30:15Speaker 1: I'm gonna all right. Now here comes Andrew Whitworth's turn. Oh,
- 30:21Speaker 1: So that's the other thing that happens athletes that are
- 30:23Speaker 1: not used to be made fun of to their faces.
- 30:25Speaker 1: They don't know how to react to it, and they
- 30:26Speaker 1: usually react poorly because they think that they're funny and
- 30:29Speaker 1: they can hang when they can't look. She's not going
- 30:33Speaker 1: to be able to Russia pass her. You're not going
- 30:36Speaker 1: to be able to put anything past her. Just keep
- 30:38Speaker 1: your mouth shut and take it.
- 30:41Speaker 7: I'm not gonna do that.
- 30:42Speaker 1: I'm not gonna say that. I'm not going to like
- 30:47Speaker 1: Men's Wearhouse shp Well, while she's roasting them, these are actually,
- 30:56Speaker 1: I mean, with the exception of Ozimpic buster rhymes, the
- 30:59Speaker 1: andrew it Worth Shrek thing is kind of complimentary. Yeah,
- 31:03Speaker 1: now she's really complimentary to Tony Gonzalez, or that Tony.
- 31:08Speaker 7: Gonzalez looks like who my mom thinks about during one
- 31:11Speaker 7: of her long backs.
- 31:20Speaker 1: She's not done with Tony.
- 31:22Speaker 7: I do like your vibe, though you look like a
- 31:24Speaker 7: genie you can only summon by rubbing the crotch of
- 31:27Speaker 7: a sensible Tale of pantsuit.
- 31:35Speaker 5: Oh my god.
- 31:37Speaker 1: Oh, you know what I can't wait for is Thursday
- 31:43Speaker 1: night football this week because you know who's playing. Oh,
- 31:50Speaker 1: it's our Dallas Cowboys up against the New York Football Giants.
- 31:53Speaker 1: And this is coming on the heels of uh of
- 31:58Speaker 1: Jerry eight and a half inch Jones. Yeah, Now, I
- 32:03Speaker 1: hope that God they got Nikki Glazer back for round two.
- 32:06Speaker 2: Oh oh yeah, I hope she uh, I hope she
- 32:12Speaker 2: lays it into Jerry.
- 32:14Speaker 1: I hope she lays it on him.

- 33:43Speaker 1: to seven pm. Five to seven pm Shaker Tins, Arlington
- 33:46Speaker 1: five to seven on Friday. I thirty and Collins. Yesterday
- 33:52Speaker 1: we learned about what's demure and cute and you know
- 33:57Speaker 1: what was the other thing? I forget the other thing,
- 33:58Speaker 1: she said, But you maymember Jules Lebron, who is the
- 34:03Speaker 1: originator of what is to be expected when you go
- 34:06Speaker 1: to work, divas, you need to be demure and and everything.
- 34:11Speaker 1: Just to make sure that we are, you know, properly refreshed.
- 34:16Speaker 1: Let me share this with you one more time so
- 34:19Speaker 1: we can remember how to be demure. See how I
- 34:24Speaker 1: come to work very demure.
- 34:26Speaker 8: I do my makeup, I lay my wig, I do
- 34:29Speaker 8: a little braid, I flatter in my hair, I do
- 34:32Speaker 8: chea cheeth out by.
- 34:33Speaker 1: The way, that's how I get ready for every show.
- 34:37Speaker 2: The braid looks nice.
- 34:38Speaker 1: Thank you appreciate it, you like it, you like my
- 34:40Speaker 1: chee cheese.
- 34:42Speaker 8: See how I come to work very demure. I do
- 34:45Speaker 8: my makeup, I lay my wig, I do a little braid,
- 34:48Speaker 8: I flatter in my hair, I do chea cheeth out,
- 34:51Speaker 8: I do viral vanilla, very demure, very mindful.
- 34:57Speaker 1: The uh. I also think it's interesting about that, is
- 34:59Speaker 1: her or four pumps of viral vanilla is about the
- 35:02Speaker 1: same number of pumps I did a drug hard in
- 35:04Speaker 1: the war when I was in sixth grade.
- 35:06Speaker 2: That's Georgia drug hard war polo.
- 35:09Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a and and the other nineties kicker cool
- 35:14Speaker 1: water baby, Yeah, very demure.
- 35:17Speaker 2: And uh, if you're spraying yourself with a scent, that's viral. Yeah.
- 35:26Speaker 1: That's not the best name for a fragrance.
- 35:28Speaker 2: Yeah, I know. Uh huh.
- 35:33Speaker 1: So anyway, Uh, Since learning about Jules Lebron and how
- 35:37Speaker 1: to properly be demure at work, which I've obviously taken
- 35:42Speaker 1: to heart, as has Trey clearly because you can tell
- 35:44Speaker 1: by the lay of this wig and my che cheese, uh,
- 35:48Speaker 1: we learned that people have started naming their babies after
- 35:51Speaker 1: this TikTok trend, So there is now a Demure. I
- 35:54Speaker 1: think I forget what the last name was, but some
- 35:56Speaker 1: mom posted on TikTok saying, oh say hello to baby
- 36:00Speaker 1: your no, I've I have fully believed that the While
- 36:08Speaker 1: the Internet is full of amazing technological advancements making this
- 36:13Speaker 1: huge planet of ours smaller and more connected, there's a
- 36:18Speaker 1: line that we've crossed and we're now two connected to
- 36:21Speaker 1: where people get baby names from viral TikTok trends like
- 36:26Speaker 1: baby Demure and it's stupid.
- 36:32Speaker 2: I mean, is it any dumber than you know, like
- 36:36Speaker 2: all the babies that were named after characters in Twilight
- 36:41Speaker 2: when the Twilight saw.
- 36:43Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, the Twilight saga had what were some
- 36:46Speaker 1: of those names? Because I will admit, while I did
- 36:49Speaker 1: see the original Twilight movie, I don't think I saw
- 36:52Speaker 1: any of the sequels. And just before you start ragging
- 36:58Speaker 1: on me about having watched any of the Twilight movies,
- 37:00Speaker 1: I would like to point out that the only reason
- 37:03Speaker 1: I watched the first Twilight movie is because that was
- 37:05Speaker 1: when I was unemployed. That was when Live one O
- 37:07Speaker 1: five three changed four Master one O five through the
- 37:09Speaker 1: fan and I was on unemployment and I was a
- 37:11Speaker 1: little sad and there was nothing else on, so I
- 37:14Speaker 1: watched Twilight, and I watched so I watched The Sparkly Vampires.
- 37:17Speaker 1: But I don't really remember anybody's name. Oh Bella. I
- 37:20Speaker 1: remember Bella, and the reason I remember that is because
- 37:22Speaker 1: that's my dog's name. But I'm not naming a kid Bella.
- 37:25Speaker 1: That's my dog. It's kind of like Indiana Jones in
- 37:30Speaker 1: the Indiana Jones in the Last Crusade, when Sean Connery
- 37:33Speaker 1: looks at Harrison Fordes as Indiana. No, we named the
- 37:35Speaker 1: dog Indiana. It's kind of the same thing. It's like, no,
- 37:38Speaker 1: we named the dog Bella or Demir Jamir has A.
- 37:41Speaker 1: That's a nice name for a cat or perhaps a hamster,
- 37:44Speaker 1: not for a baby. I don't think, I.
- 37:48Speaker 2: Mean, but I don't know why we're surprised anymore. I mean,
- 37:53Speaker 2: people have. The naming of children has has gotten progressively
- 37:58Speaker 2: just dumber.
- 38:00Speaker 1: The Twilight characters not so bad. Edward Bella, Okay, that's
- 38:04Speaker 1: a dog name. Jacob he was the uh uh, he
- 38:08Speaker 1: was the werewolf. Then you got Alice and Jasper Rosalie.
- 38:12Speaker 1: Those are pretty normal. Then you get like something like Arrow,
- 38:15Speaker 1: and I don't think any I don't think there's any
- 38:18Speaker 1: baby Rinesmi's running around? But is the internet the place
- 38:23Speaker 1: you really want to go to? Is are viral trends
- 38:26Speaker 1: really the places you want to go to to find
- 38:28Speaker 1: new baby names?
- 38:31Speaker 2: Look at my baby her bees.
- 38:35Speaker 1: Here's my baby blue waffle actually as uh oh a
- 38:42Speaker 1: meat meat are new born William William Hung, little baby
- 38:47Speaker 1: William Hung, and uh there's twins and his brother's name
- 38:51Speaker 1: is is little baby Taizon Day very sweet, sings chocolate rain.
- 38:54Speaker 1: Everybody loves. He's a huge hit at the nursery. What
- 38:58Speaker 1: are some other ones?
- 39:01Speaker 2: Oh?
- 39:02Speaker 1: I bet you can't wait to get your baby shower?
- 39:05Speaker 1: Invitation to Little Hawk to a Thompson's event, which, honest
- 39:12Speaker 1: to god, after she went viral, who hasn't called their
