in this situation that we're in today is prayer. The only thing that can

And I was actually going through the Book of Danielle, just knowing the times

that we're living in. If you do know my story or my testimony,

I've shared before that I got saved at the age of fifteen, and at

the age of fifteen, I was invited to a Bible study, a home

Bible study. And the person who is teaching it, her name is Benita.

Shout out to Benita and Trey, and Trey actually invited me to the

Bible study fifteen and a half, just about ready to turn sixteen. I

was going through some trying times growing up. I was getting in trouble,

got casstealing. I broke a guy's nose, get him two black eyes.

I was in juvenile, destructive path and doing all of this just to please

my friends and trying to fit in. And who knows where I would have

ended up. But my dad at the time. My dad will always be

my hero. He got me a job, yeah, fifteen years old,

said you know, I need to get out the street. So he taught

me to work. And that's where God met me. I heard the Gospel

of Christ, and Tray invited me to Benita's house and she was teaching out

of the Book of Revelation, and I tell you, my mouth dropped,

like I just could not. I was so just thrown back from everything I

heard out of the Book of Revelation. Like beast coming out of a bottomless

pit. You know, demons like frogs are gonna plague the armies of the

world, and the battle of Armageddon when Jesus returns. All these things are

mark of the beast. And a cashless society, a one world government.

All these things that are taking place even now, and I'm actually consider this

a privilege to be this close and to really see it, to be in

this generation, to really see all these prophecies come into past and they're coming

to pass like clockwork. Like my prayer, our prayer every day should be

Lord, if you come today, let us be found ready, Like we

need to stay ready, We need to stay away from sin our past life.

Like really get disciple, really get with people, because people are going

to hell. People are going to hell. People that I've worked with,

that's in the way. People that I know I grew up with are passing

away. Just people that are friends of people that I know are just just

hearing the reports. People are just just going, just going into eachnity.

And some people I know, at least when I dealt with them, they

did not know Christ. Hopefully they did before they took their final breath.

Hopefully they reached out to the Lord. Because if you go into eternity without

Jesus, you're going to hell. There's no that's what the Bible says,

You're going to hell, going to judgment. And so that's what we're here

too. We're here to prevent here it his how nation, That's what our

ministry is all about is reaching souls for Christ. We want to bring you

We don't have any other hidden agenda. We just want you to get saved.

so that's my heart for this nation, for this country. I always have

this talk, to always have this debate. I grew up pledging the allegiance

to the flag, and somebody let me know in the comments if that is

considered wrong. I've heard some people say that I'm worshiping the flag. I've

heard some people say that, you know, we need to turn our backs

on America because of the wickedness and everything that has taking place in this country.

And we know that this country has its faults. We can't deny it.

But you have faults. I have faults. You're not going to find

a perfect country right in this world. You're not going to find a perfect

person. The only perfect person you're going to find is in Jesus Christ.

And man, that's why we have to follow him. That's why we have

to submit our lives to Him and follow Him. That's the whole point of

the Gospel. I know me, outside of Christ, I'm corrupt. Let's

all get out like I got know nothing, I got no righteousness, I

got no integrity, you know nothing outside of Christ. But what I do

love about this country is you can't deny the hand of God that's been with

the United States every since it's early stages. We have the freedom to worship

here, we have the freedom to serve God, we have the freedom to

establish a relationship with Christ. We don't have to worry about the government breaking

down our doors because we want to pray, or they have not outlawed the

Bible, well at least not yet, right, And so that's what I'm

excited about. Today is the fourth of July. And yeah, you know,

I'm just excited about the hand of God and what a God has done

with the United States. So I'm gonna always pray for this nation. I'm

always going to pray for this country and pray that we do get to a

better place right as a nation. We can stay divided race and the economics

all that that. I mean, we can divide over these things, but

at the end of the day we all got to stand before God in judgment.

That's what matters, amen, Okay, I mean rambling on, y'all.

So let's go ahead and dive into this devotion. Pray for United States
16:22
using the prayer of Daniel, powerful prayer in the Book of Daniel, chapter
16:26
nine. When a little background about this story here, Daniel was taken captive

to Babylon. He was around the age of seventeen, him and three other
16:41
of his companions. And we know that when they got to Daniel, they
16:48
chose not to defile I mean Daniel, when they got to Babylon, they
16:52
chose not to defile themselves with the king's meat and drink. Right now,

the Kenezar ordered a special group of young men. I'm not sure if there

are women or young girls involved in this, but we know that it was
17:08
a special group of young men who were very good looking and very intelligent,
17:15
had great intellects to learn the language and to learn different things. And Daniel

purposed in his heart now seventeen years old, now listening up, y'all,

teenagers, a young man purpose in his heart not to defile himself with the
17:30
food that came from the king. And so there was a test. They
17:36
ate vegetables for ten days and they were found ten times better than the other
17:41
youth that were in this group, and they were putting to the King's services.

So Daniel's an amazing book. It's an amazing book. I'm actually getting

I'm to the point where I'm reading about the prophecies because, like I said,

I know the Book of Revelation pretty good. I'm familiar with it,

and I like them bounce off of Daniel in Revelation. He's Ezekiel all these

prophecies, and you know, maybe we can jump on this podcast and kind

of walk you guys through what the Lord has shown me with that. But

right now we're talking about the prayer and so as he was a captive in
18:18
Babylon, he was a very very good student of the Word. Now I

love Daniel. He's an amazing man. I can't wait to meet him when

we get home, when we go to heaven. Daniel was committed. He

was a man of prayer, and he was a man of the Word because

he knew that In the Book of Jeremiah, Jeremiah mentioned that they were going

to be in Babylon for seventy years. They were going to be held captive.

And if you look into the Law of Moses, God told them what
18:49
would happen if they were to forsake him. He would drive him out of
18:55
the land. He will punish them like everything that happened to them was prophesied

or was told to them before it happened. Just like us today, everything
19:04
that happens to us as a nation has already been laid out in the Word
19:11
of God. There are certain reasons why God is gonna judge nations, judging
19:15
nation, there are certain reasons why God will bless the nation, you know
19:18
what I mean. So as a nation, we need to get back to
19:22
the Bible. We need to get back to being obedient to the Word.

And so as Daniel knew that the captivity was just the time was just about

up, he began to pray. He began to make himself available. And

I would encourage all of my brothers and sisters, make yourself available, go

be for God and prayer and say, Hey, what do you want me

to do? And this period, this generation, this time that we're in,
19:51
what is my assignment? What do you want me to do? Trust

me, God has a work for you to do. But you have to

find out what it is, you have to ask him and seek him.

And we can see that Daniel is doing this. He's beginning to intercede because

he knows that the time of captivity is about up. So he's praying for

his nation. I believe he's about eighty years old at this time. And

yeah, let's dive in and let's look at the heart of this amazing man

of God. So Daniel Chapter nine goes from one to nineteen. An induction

here says Daniel's prayer in Daniel nine is a powerful example of intercessory prayer,

where he prays fervently for his nation. As we reflect on his prayer,

we can draw parallels and apply its principles to pray for our nation, the
20:51
United States. Amen. So we can use this as a guide or as

an example. Daniel ninety four I prayed to the Lord, my God,

and confess Lord, the great and awesome God who keeps his covenant of love

with those who love him and keep his commandments. Now here's the application.

Begin by acknowledging, begin by excuse me, Begin by acknowledging God's greatness,

his faithfulness, his love. Remember that God is sovereign over all the nations

and holds the world in his hands. As we pray for the United States,

we affirm God's authority and trust in his plans for our nation. So

let's go ahead and do that real quick. Heavenly Father, we just acknowledge

you, and we confess so God that you are the Lord. You are

great and awesome, and you keep covenant of love with those who love you

and keep your commandments. God, we acknowledge your sovereignty. We acknowledge that

you have the right to do as you desire with all the nations of the

world. You've created each and every nation. Lord God. Yes, God,

and Father God, Oh Lord, that you will. Father God,

be merciful and look upon us. So God, remember our covenant, Lord

God, remember our love and our faithfulness to you, Father God, as

a young nation. Father God, bring us back to our first love.

Father. And we asked this in Jesus Nay. Amen. All right.

I'm going to keep these prayers a little short and sweet unless the Holy Spirit

says something differently, But just agree with me in prayer or even as you

read it. As we go through this, you know, pray whatever is

on your heart. As long as we're in agreement and on one accord,

Now confess our sins. Right as a nation, we need to confess our

sins. And let's look at a prophet Daniel in nine, verse six,

verse five and six. We have sin and have done wrong. We have

been wicked and have rebelled. We have turned away from your commands and laws.

We have not listened to your servants, the prophets who spoke in your
23:34
name, to our kings, our princes, and our ancestors, and to
23:41
all the people of the land. Wow, Wow, that is deep.

They did not listen to the prophets. How many pastors and preachers over the

centuries has been faithful to preach God's word, God's word and we just ignored

them. How many faithful Christians that we know on the job, at work,

at school, that our faithful witnesses to the word of God and we

ignore them just by not listening. We can find ourselves in a place of

judgment. Here's application. Confession is a crucial part of intercession. Like Daniel,

we must confess the sins of our nation turning away from God and ignoring
24:32
his commandments and neglecting His word humbly acknowledging our nation's failures opens the door for
24:40
God's mercy and forgiveness. So let's confess, Father God, we do confess

the sins of the United States of America. We confess the greed. Father.

We confess Lord, that we have been greedy, that we have been
24:56
selfish. Father, that we have served served money rather than serving you,

Father God, we have served mammon. We've made mammon the priority, Father

God, Father God, forgive us of our sexual immorality. Father God,

forgive us for our unfaithfulness to our husbands and our unfaithfulness to our wives.

Father God, forgive us for not being chased virgins. Father God, forgive

us Lord for the pornography in this nation, the pornography that we have shipped

all across the world, the influence that we've had on the world, Father

God, sexually and then morally, Father God, help us, Lord God,

get to get back to your regional intent for marriage, Oh God,

And for the family, and for sexual Father God, Oh Lord, gratification,

Lord God, and the confines of marriage. Father forgive us for our

lives and the blood in our streets, the murder in our neighborhoods, Father

God, the violence and our nation. O God, the racial motivated hatred,

Father God, the greed, Father God, the robbery. Oh God,

forgive us, Father God, for the innocent, innocent blood that was

shed in this nation. Forgive us, o God, for abortion or mean

and murdering babies. Father God, forgive us, o God, Oh Lord,

Father God, for allowing the innocent to be unprotected in our nation.

Father God, we confess our sins. Oh God, forgive us, Father

God, Oh Lord, for opening the door to witchcraft, Oh God,

to the opening the door to the occult, Father God, for allowing evil,

Father God to just flood our media, our TV, and our radios,

Oh God, our internet in our streets. So God, not protecting

our children, Oh God, not protecting holiness and righteousness. So God,

forgive us for ignoring, Oh God, you're pastors, and for God,

those who were standing on the wall. Father God, sounding the alarm,

Father God, help us. Lord, we're listening now. Father forgive us

for the sins of our government. Father God, forgive us, o Lord,

for the sins and the school system, Oh God, Academy God for

the corrupt and wicked and ungodly organizations, Oh God, in the business place,

So God, forgive us, Father God, help us Lord, to

turn to you, Father God, we ask for your mercy, Lord,

in Jesus' name. Amen. Amen, that was deep. God was just

showing me different things. It's almost overwhelming, O, God, the things

that we're involved in as a nation. We need to be repenting. We

need to be asking God for forgiveness for our nations. If we want to

continue to enjoy our freedom and our independence. We need to get back to

God, y'all, Hey man, Now Daniel ninety nine, Daniel is seeking

God's mercy. The Lord, our God is merciful and forgiving, even though
27:53
we have rebelled against him. Now, I want to say this that it's

by his mercy, it's not by our goodness. Even though we have been
28:07
unfaithful and rebelled against him, God is still merciful. So we need to

appeal to his mercy and his forgiveness if we're gonna survive. This thing is

a nation right now, here's the application. See God's mercy for the USA.

Despite our national shortcomings, God's mercy is abundant. Pray for his forgiveness

and for a revival that will turn hearts back to him. God's mercy can
28:40
bring healing and restoration to the land, so God's mercy can heal our land.

I believe that we're going into a time that this country has never experienced.

If we don't get this right, we don't tease merciful. He doesn't

want to judge us, but he's a good God and he's a just God.

He will judge us if we force his hand. Acknowledging the consequences of

sin Daniel nine to eleven, Daniel says, all Israel has transgressed your law

and turned away, refusing to obey you. Therefore, the curse and sworn

judgment written in the law of Moses, the servant of God, has been

poured out on us because we have sinned against you. Now I mentioned this

earlier. It says the curse and the sworn judgment of God that was written

in the Moses, the Servant of God. Right, God warned them.

This is not a surprise. It shouldn't be a shock. Right, even

now, even in generation that we're living in today, we can know what's

going on. That's why we're not freaking out. Those who know what's going

on, those who know what's really up, what's happening, and God's are

those who study the Word, and because we know him, we're not freaking

out. But we understand. We understand that this nation is going to be

judged because of our unfaithfulness to God. And if we appeal to his mercy

and his grace, there's a promise attached to it. It says that he

will heal our land. Our land is going through turmoil just because of us

turning our backs against him. We took prayer off the schools. We took

the Ten Commandments from the public arena, from the courthouse and from the school

like. We removed God from our national conscience in this nation. And now

we see the results of that, and it has written the judgments and everything

that will happen. Now here's an application recognize the consequence of national sins.

Daniel understood that the hardship's Israel face were a result of their disobedience. Pray

that our nation knowledges and confesses and and excuse me, pray that our nation

acknowledges the consequences of straining from God's path and seek to return to His way.

Amen. So, finding God, I do look up the United States

of America, and Father, we have a heart for the whole world.

But specifically today, on the fourth of July. I'm lifting up our I'm

lifting up this country, that we as a nation will acknowledge the consequences of

turning our backs on You. That we will see and open up our eyes.

We'll see the natural disasters, the earthquakes and the hurricanes, and the

destruction in the cities, O God, and our beautiful land, O God

Lord, as a national God, open up the hearts and minds. So

God, I removed the blindness of the enemy, Oh God, and the

attacks of the adversary, O God, Oh Lord, that would keep people,

Father God, deceived and in the dark, Old God. But I

removed the darkness. Lord. Let the darkness become light, Lord God,

before this national God, and let us acknowledge that these consequences are happening because

we have strayed away and walked away from You. Yes, and Jesus saying

Amen mane verse five. Now stick with me. This is good, this

Now we do have the obligation and the privilege to pray for a restoration.

In verse seventeen, he goes in. He says, now, our

God, hear the prayers and petition of your servant. For your sake,

heart of Daniel. Daniel is appealing to God. And this is a personal

appeal because Daniel has a personal can connection to God. You know, living

here in Las Vegas, they always say it's not what you know, it's

who you know. Who are you connected to? Right, Well, Daniel

is connected to the God of the universe, the God of Israel, and

we're connected to him as well if we have a relationship through Jesus Christ.

Jesus his whole mission to come to our planet, to come to Earth,

was to bring us and to reconcile us back to God. Have you received

Christ as your Lord and personal savior? Have you accepted Christ into your life

so that you can have that connection we stored back to God. And see,

your connection to God can be the difference in a nation. This country

is depending desiring and they need you to be connected to God. They need

us be connected to God. We need to be faithful servants. We need

to actually be in our word, not just go to church now just be

heroes of the word. But we need to have that prayer life, have

that connection. We need to study his word, We need to apply his

word, do his word, walk it out on a daily basis so that

we can have that connection. He said, you're servant. Here are the

petitions of your servant. He could say that with conviction, God, I

am your servant, and I'm saying that as well. I mean, I'm

not saying I'm like Daniel, but I'm striving to get there, you know

what I mean. But as his servants, we can go before him and

what he's doing, he is standing in the gap. Are you standing in

the gap for our nation? Or are you just such self absorbed and such

a selfish person and you just care about what you want that you don't care

that this nation is going to destruction, that death is creeping up on the

land. Well, we can intercede and stand in the gap, just like
