- 0:42Welcome back at you and sun.star with a blunt penknife.
- 0:48Why are you both looking at me? Like I'm a pervert.
- 0:53I am slob and I'm here with my two Warrior friend.
- 1:01Say hello, Simon. Hello Joe and say hello.
- 1:09Phrase sign op-eds. Sorry.
- 1:17What did you sound like a pervert?
- 1:19They look my up and suck it suck.
- 1:22We're gonna do that. Welcome back to a hamster with a
- 1:24blunt penknife. Alright, I'm here with a
- 1:27fabulous so I heart fabulous, Freddy got, you know them,
- 1:30they've been on 500 of these things.
- 1:32Now that, you know, they are how you doing boys, who could on Gus
- 1:38Yeah, it's good on join this one.
- 1:42Brings up some interesting things, doesn't it doesn't it
- 1:45just, well, I got two phony ones to bring up in this episode
- 1:50alone, you know. Well, yeah, well there's a lot
- 1:52in this episode. So some of the questions we've
- 1:55had deal, particularly with stuff that happens in this this
- 1:58week's episode The go on in, let's have one.
- 2:02Okay, so Where are we? Hang on the lovely.
- 2:09David G. Who is at Pi?
- 2:121883 on Twitter says the comedy Chase sequence.
- 2:17Yay, or nay? Yay, yay, and another yay.
- 2:24Oh my, what your leader. Okay, yes, Scooby Scooby-Doo.
- 2:38Where are you raggy? Is it works because Michael
- 2:48Ferguson shoots the, the chase scene, so beautifully and
- 2:54particularly the mirrored sets, make it stand out from from the
- 2:59crowd. Do you think that's the most
- 3:04fascicle sequence in Doctor Who like out and out fast as in luck
- 3:08from a comedy film, until we get the phone.
- 3:16I also adore. Well, what's fascinating, is
- 3:20that here we are, Patrick troughton is free stories away
- 3:24from the end and he's still finding new ways to play his
- 3:28doctor. I don't think he's played him
- 3:31out and out for comment. Midi to this extent before, and
- 3:35he's having fun doing this. I think he's enjoying his
- 3:41performance here and the audience are swept along with
- 3:44that with him. Yeah, it's a comedy then.
- 3:50Well I'm sorry sir all the ones that are comedies you really
- 3:53love. Well we're supposed to be doing
- 3:57base Under Siege out where yeah we're supposed to be two
- 4:00monsters and think that slapping a far sequence in the middle of
- 4:03all of that. And then again towards the end,
- 4:05maybe that just shows a little bit.
- 4:07It's brushin. You know what?
- 4:09We've had a bit cloning around in the space there in the rocket
- 4:13in episode 2. You know, we've got this seam of
- 4:16all the flapping around in the form, is this are they trying to
- 4:20make this a comedy or is it just it's a bit like you know
- 4:24invasion of time where you know, the comedy comes from the fact
- 4:28that everyone knows that they're in a really just it's that sort
- 4:33of like last day of term feel where, you know, everything's
- 4:36just our whatever money is gone. Scripts on, let's just log
- 4:42about. You know, it was like what is
- 4:44happening here or we're good. It's a comedy because I think
- 4:48there's moments of absolute tragedy and fusion who we
- 4:52haven't really talked about yet is an absolutely tragic and real
- 4:56character. So so not I don't figure, it's
- 5:01it's comedy. I think it's a moment to let the
- 5:04audience have their downtime from the tension and I do and I
- 5:09don't think the chase Aces full circle as all that because the
- 5:14doctor is still in danger. There are ice Warriors
- 5:17everywhere around him, he's going to get captured, but it
- 5:22lowers the tension out for a little moment.
- 5:25So, the orders has got a moment to go.
- 5:27Oh, this is a great funny bit and then he's back in danger
- 5:30straight away because there's a nice Warrior coming in.
- 5:33I've got an alternative reason as to why it's good and that's
- 5:37just because it's troughton, and troughton is so funny and I
- 5:42think had it been like, Tom Baker.
- 5:44It might be a little bit Agra night like that bit.
- 5:47We talked about a nightmare ever even saw at the end when he goes
- 5:49into the CT machine. You know, trout is so good at
- 5:52gauging this stuff. And yes, does it make it last?
- 5:56Is it is the question, does it make you laugh?
- 5:58Yeah, it has Expressions on his face, all the things that you
- 6:02sell all of this. This because you are all my
- 6:11words, kind of thing. And I'll be waiting for that
- 6:14moment in my life but 43 years, where I can do an expression
- 6:18like that, welcome back to like that.
- 6:34And that dear listener is. Why doesn't work on audio?
- 6:39The dust. Of course, I really do.
- 6:41Hope it does foolish. We skip into episode 3.
- 6:48Yes we should. And I want to ask you guys a
- 6:50question and tell you why I love the story so much at the same
- 6:53time. Okay.
- 6:54Okay. Okay.
- 6:56So it's all those phrase. It would.
- 6:57You care to calcium? Yep.
- 7:00And 54. Three, two one episode
- 7:06transmitting. Now I was literally gonna say on
- 7:10the back of you count in how sexy your voices and that's it
- 7:13one time, your voice has not been sexy.
- 7:15Well done. Okay, then judge so many
- 7:19question for us. Yeah, I do.
- 7:21I do, well, I've got a statement first and then a question.
- 7:24So the reason I love this story so much is, I think it is the
- 7:29first time that It sticks has stepped in and done a massive
- 7:37repair job on a script. That is very light, has just
- 7:41Fallen apart. And by all accounts, Brian house
- 7:43was very amenable to this. And it's like yo my dear fellow,
- 7:46you know, do whatever you need to do.
- 7:48You know I'm not precious and effectively did a top to toe
- 7:52rewrite. I know he wrote the last half of
- 7:55this at least. Yes.
- 7:58And I think Salvage is what probably would have been an
- 8:03Aleut disaster and he goes on to do that.
- 8:05For five years. In job is time, he does repair
- 8:11job on the job. Yes.
- 8:13On and, and particularly on another bride.
- 8:16Inhales screams. And I think it's worth
- 8:22celebrating for that because I think a lot of probably a lot of
- 8:24the charm of the regulars. I think a lot of the better
- 8:29character moments. I think that sense of sort of
- 8:31pace and Adventure Off It all comes from Terrance dicks.
- 8:34I think he arrived or two in his sleep and phrase of my sight was
- 8:37doing that here. No no I think I think what's
- 8:41Happening Here is Terrence has learned his craft.
- 8:44It's a thing working out. How doctor who works?
- 8:47Yeah he's kind of like how these assisting bit towards the the
- 8:50back end of the record and block that makes up the start of
- 8:55season 6 or sort of like the dominant in the main draw.
- 8:59But he's been assistant neighs promote that the script editor
- 9:02knows who he's very Much now, learning his craft.
- 9:05He's like, he's like ccsi learning what makes top who work
- 9:10and what doesn't work and, you know, he comes into the war
- 9:13games with Mac Hulk and you know, he has ten episodes to
- 9:17rate of that. You know, you does for that.
- 9:20He's had to do a repair job on this.
- 9:22You know, he comes into war games and he's got to do the
- 9:24whole thing. With his mate and do it for 10
- 9:29episodes. And that is, you know, when we
- 9:31talked about the Pearson in episode 2, you know, when I
- 9:36asked, you know, what makes War Games better paced than this
- 9:43story? Perhaps, I think it is, Terrence
- 9:45and Mack are getting it there when they are ready.
- 9:50Dropping the plottin of the war games is so exceptional.
- 9:54In terms of just dropping in B and B and B in this always
- 9:58something to keep you interested and keep you interested.
- 10:00There's a new tiny little Revelation, you know, that's
- 10:03it's not well, or wanted to the doctor's people.
- 10:05It's the time Lords. It just goes on like that.
- 10:07So yeah, I totally agree that this is, this is a great job
- 10:13from from Timmins and he's only got, he's only going to get
- 10:17better from here on in. Again.
- 10:20So, that answers, the question that we had for a big finish
- 10:22author. Johnny Morris who says, is this
- 10:25terrence's? Best script.
- 10:27No, no, no. But I do, I think, I personally
- 10:31think Terrance dicks is The greatest contributor to Doctor
- 10:38Who I think. I think he saw the show through
- 10:42like a lot of its most important moments.
- 10:46He kept the show alive when it could have come to an end, you
- 10:50know, really spectacular way. He wrote bloody brilliant
- 10:54scripts in you know they've got his name on it.
- 10:57Five doctors, stay at the K. Robot horror of fang Rock script
- 11:02edited five glorious years of the show.
- 11:05And bike as a celebration. This is, this is the first time.
- 11:10He's really had to sort of stuff because he was sort of code
- 11:14scriptwriter. Wasn't it here?
- 11:16Yeah, yeah. Oh yeah.
- 11:17Very much. So, I mean, particularly, I
- 11:19think episodes because it's free to 6.
- 11:22So we're in. Terrance dicks territory here
- 11:25now. All sorry.
- 11:27I meant with like Derek Sherwin because oh well, oh yes.
- 11:30Oh yeah, he was sharing the roll.
- 11:32Hmm, because they were expecting Peter.
- 11:35It's a move on faster than he did.
- 11:37And don't show when to take over as producer and Terrence to be
- 11:40the full-time script editor. So he's got time to learn his
- 11:43craft. He's worked with Robert Holmes
- 11:46on the Croton sort of in the background and then suddenly the
- 11:52scripting of all the stories they all fall through,
- 11:55everything's gone to shit. And Terrence says, well look,
- 11:59I've got this script that we could just do.
- 12:01Let's do this while some preparing this six part or over
- 12:05it. Exactly.
- 12:07So, you know, it's it's great work and I can't fault her and
- 12:12sticks. I mean he's like Russell T
- 12:15Davies in a lot of ways that I think his Five Years on Doctor
- 12:21Who as a script editor, I don't think there is Like Russell, did
- 12:28he is there for the final pass of each script?
- 12:31And each one of those scripts goes through Terrence his hands
- 12:34at the at the last minute. And he gives it the final polish
- 12:38to bring it up to standard exact and I think his voice is all
- 12:43over those scripts in ways that you don't always know notice.
- 12:48So there was a really good black archive book on Carnival of
- 12:53monsters and Cuz a lot of the notes for Carnival of monsters
- 12:57exist from Robert Holmes has first draft through to the end.
- 13:01And a lot of the things that people celebrate in that story
- 13:05for being classic, Robert. Holmes, what actually additions
- 13:09by Terrance dicks? And when you see what he what he
- 13:13was doing and you think well if he's doing that on this script,
- 13:16what's he done to something? That's a lesser script and I
- 13:20think perhaps the only people that he the only person he
- 13:23doesn't go and edit very much is Barry Letts when perhaps Barry
- 13:28Letts does need it Ty monster but he does exactly we're all
- 13:34thinking it Lassiter's of death commentary like he gives a
- 13:38potted history of what happened with that story and How will,
- 13:41you know? But we cobbled it together in
- 13:43the end, though. Me and Mac, Hulk.
- 13:45I think we cobbled it together. Fairly well.
- 13:47Fraser, would you reckon? Well, it's like what I said when
- 13:51we did that comment read that, you know, terrans, when he's got
- 13:55his back against the wall is best.
- 14:03You know, you're in a position where he's got to Got the
- 14:09perform, you know, you stop it. You know, give him the war games
- 14:17where we've got to do ten episodes and it's the end of the
- 14:19season, and he's got to do ten episodes with very little
- 14:22budget. You're giving me ambassador's of
- 14:24death, where he's got to, you know, come in and rescue David,
- 14:29Whitlock a script and, again, it's 7 episode.
- 14:31So he's he's really Under Pressure, he's got his day job
- 14:35to do as well. You give him sort of the
- 14:36horrifying rock where you're saying, well, you know, All
- 14:39you've got to do this, you can't do what you want to do, because
- 14:43you want to do Dracula, basically, but what he didn't,
- 14:45drop your ass, you've got to do something else.
- 14:47You give them the five doctors where you seen, what you've got
- 14:50to have five doctors in it and no actually, it's only going to
- 14:53be for doctors and this come in or chopping and changing around
- 14:58you. Yeah, yeah.
- 14:59You put them under pressure and that's when he, he works the
- 15:02best and I would 100% agree that years, you know, probably the
- 15:08most important. Public beta 2 to all of of
- 15:11Doctor Who I would possibly argue that Bob Holmes is a
- 15:15better script writer and having sticks.
- 15:19Yeah, I think this is a better script editor.
- 15:22Yes absolutely. I think Bob has the best script
- 15:25writer. Yeah.
- 15:25Probably a better writer and it's a very faint.
- 15:29Parents, is very focused on the technical side of writing, so
- 15:34his plots chart? Yeah, absolutely tight.
- 15:38Yeah. And but you can't discount
- 15:41terrence's contribution as the script editor for those five
- 15:45years, you can't discount the scripts that he wrought.
- 15:47You know. Both inside that time and
- 15:49outside have that time you can't discount what he's done with
- 15:52Target novelization. Well, God and not and you think
- 15:55of the the amount of target books, where he fixes the
- 15:59scripts, the Android invasion was almost over.
- 16:06Well, you know, you look at those five Years of the Pertwee
- 16:10when he was scripted in your heart.
- 16:12Barry. Let's working with them.
- 16:14And that is such a beautiful pair and because that is both
- 16:20your script editor and you produce are in absolutes in
- 16:23Practical working saw together on such the same page.
- 16:27And so aligned that that's what makes that you.
- 16:30Our special is that Auntie are harmonious to the Yeah, and it's
- 16:37degrees. Very interesting to compare it
- 16:40to his relationship with Derek Sherwin and Peter.
- 16:43Brian where he doesn't have much, that's good to say about
- 16:48them. There is a gamma Tree on the
- 16:50spear having space, which is terrorist, he's and Derek.
- 16:53Sure. And Terror sticks basically just
- 16:56says, oh I think the second part of a good idea.
- 16:59I love a guy that was a good idea, tasting that a scandal.
- 17:02You guys you basically Lumber me with all of this and then You
- 17:05pop it off to do something else. I'm gonna, I'm gonna take you
- 17:09back to the story for a second because I've got another
- 17:12question for both of you. Okay to hear answers.
- 17:16This is the thorny subject. I said I'd bring up and that's
- 17:19fuchsia is for you show him. A tracer.
- 17:25Is he a bad man? No, I don't think he's a bad
- 17:30man. I think he's a scared man, and
- 17:33he's truck doing whatever he can to stay alive.
- 17:38And if that means, he's got to do these bad things.
- 17:42Then he will. I think he is one of the most
- 17:46tragic characters in the whole of Doctor, Who I think he's a
- 17:50man who is out of his depth in a situation that he can't deal
- 17:55with, who is having Mental breakdown over all of this, over
- 18:00all these things he wants to do. And there's the Fantastic bit
- 18:04where he says I just want to stay alive.
- 18:07I want to live. Yes.
- 18:11And I think that's the key to him.
- 18:12I've been is one of the most unsung performances in the whole
- 18:18of Doctor Who I think Terry Scully is absolutely
- 18:23brilliantly. Convincing as this man who is on
- 18:26the edge. It didn't he has an axe have
- 18:30tricky life, did he take his life?
- 18:32So I imagine that I don't think you do.
- 18:34It's okay, I think I'm still working into the 80s.
- 18:37So I think, okay, I swear, I read or saw something about
- 18:42that. I might look at that are between
- 18:43episodes. What do you think professor?
- 18:45And I agree. 100 percent. I think the, you know,
- 18:49everything's so I said, there is absolutely spot-on.
- 18:53And the only thing I can really add to that is that fuchsia Ms.
- 18:57Victoria. Victoria.
- 19:00Yep. So what are you compare?
- 19:03I said this is the same stories that ice Warriors.
- 19:06What's the big difference? Is there's no Victoria but there
- 19:09is a Victoria, it's Fusion so he plays that rule that Victoria
- 19:14will all of our Sort of POV character with the ice Warriors.
- 19:22So in, I swear, he's a tough little Victoria gets captured by
- 19:25Vargas start and taken to the ship.
- 19:29And she is our in to the ice Warriors, and what they're up
- 19:32to. And it's exactly the same with
- 19:33fuchsia with the is a very similar, sort of character in,
- 19:38as much as you know, Victoria is spent the whole time being
- 19:42scared and frightened and screaming and You know, having
- 19:48to do what the ice Warriors wanted to do fusions exactly the
- 19:52same and it's just it's more interesting because he's a male
- 19:55character, you know, it's not what you expect of a milk out.
- 19:58There is more energy because he's a male character, I think
- 20:01is more interesting because one I think he's a better actor than
- 20:03Debra walk thing and to I think he's in a sort of a dicey
- 20:08situation or at least he plays it, he plays it for real,
- 20:12whereas Victoria just sort of Sniffles off camera, you know?
- 20:17It's So Jamie. What's going on?
- 20:21And that's kind of expect of the Victoria but you know, you're
- 20:28bringing fuchsia. Mm.
- 20:29You bring in a guy who's supposed to be a guy and it's
- 20:35for the time that this is made and even probably.
- 20:37Now it's quite a agenda reversed rule which makes it really,
- 20:41really interesting for me. That, you know, you would have,
- 20:48you've got misskelley it, we've said is very strong character,
- 20:53very strong personality, very authoritative, very capable and
- 21:00Technical. And she's the only one that can
- 21:02fix. T mutton has to go to the Moon,
- 21:04fix team at where you've got fish in there, who is
- 21:06essentially the Damsel in Distress.
- 21:08It's a really clever gender role-reversal, which you might
- 21:13not get it. This time, we'll wait, will be a
- 21:15bit more Progressive than that. But for certainly, for the time,
- 21:20it was made quite sophisticated writing for Doctor Who, as it's
- 21:23not, don't get many characters like this ever, again, while
- 21:27putting characters in impossible, situations, like
- 21:29this and asking hard questions. Would you do this?
- 21:33Or would you kill you? Yeah, sacrifice yourself.
- 21:36That's not a place Doctor Who would go very often that's quite
- 21:38an adult place to go. And in the middle of this, rumpy
- 21:42run around is even more. Interesting, isn't it to have
- 21:45all of that going on in the background but we have had a few
- 21:48characters in The buildup. In the first episode who have
- 21:52done that, they have the guy that sabotages the And the
- 21:58communications in the team at the start with who, you know,
- 22:04will get the POV shot from the ice Warriors you as equate, you
- 22:08know, calm, Lisa days. And don't, you know, he's quite
- 22:11smug about the fact that he's, he's right.
- 22:13The team at even though he knows he's going to get You know,
- 22:16executed, he dies, yeah, because that's what happens to people
- 22:19who do this, and this is what sense future.
- 22:21I'm over the edge and that's but that but fusions already on the
- 22:25edge. Yes.
- 22:27Because there's already doubts about the character before.
- 22:30Yeah, we met before we when he's at his best fuchsia Ms. Two
- 22:34steps away from getting into the team up and going back to Earth.
- 22:37Have been already. Booked it, something up, you
- 22:41know, made a made an ass of one of the transmission sir you
- 22:45know, a Russians had a dressing down and he's literally two
- 22:48steps away from getting in the team and getting off the moon
- 22:50before the ice Warriors. Coming already know that what
- 22:55type of character fugitives were know that he is.
- 23:01He's for a sick person who is promoted out of their depth and
- 23:06he can't deal with his job. Yeah.
- 23:10Yes, we knew. Yeah, that that adds more than
- 23:16the live of sort of interest to the character that would know
- 23:19that he's, you shouldn't, he shouldn't be.
- 23:21There is is not who you are, you know?
- 23:24Right from the very start with no, he's not here with any.
- 23:27It does exactly what you would expect them to do.
- 23:28In that scenario, we eat does what the ice Warriors.
- 23:32Ask him, I do for his survival for the survival of others as
- 23:35well. It's not just, you know what?
- 23:37I want to levitate if I don't, I don't fix this.
- 23:39What? All going to die.
- 23:40We're all going to get nice and it's it's really interesting
- 23:44because it's not like the ice Lord.
- 23:47Sloth is manipulating him into doing this.
- 23:50He's just telling you what to do it and fuchsia is doing it.
- 23:53He's not he puts up a token amount of resistance and
- 23:58questions it. Yeah.
- 23:59But only to a small extent so it's not like he's eating from
- 24:03being tricked into doing this. He is doing this off, his own
- 24:05volition, there's then it gets really interesting when Sloth
- 24:10sadistically mates, him beam somebody out.
- 24:14He makes him kill somebody and that.
- 24:16If but I think the most interesting moment for fuchsia
- 24:20is that silent scene before Miss Kelly beams onto the moon and
- 24:26the camera is high and it comes down on him.
- 24:28Just sitting there waiting and he knows that they're going to
- 24:31know that. He's collaborated and secondary
- 24:34characters and Doctor Who don't get moments like that very
- 24:37often. We said it in Genesis of the
- 24:38Daleks, when the Europe and around a room with gunfire
- 24:41rattling. And davros was just sort of
- 24:43passing his Claw on his chair. Like you don't get like silent
- 24:50seems like that for many guest characters.
- 24:52Hey, so interesting, isn't it? It's almost too interesting for
- 24:57this story as. Yeah, and we're at this moment
- 24:59here where the doctor is questioning him about.
- 25:03Why are you helping them? And yeah, his answers are
- 25:08fascinating. And yet does he doesn't know
- 25:13that does he that sending the seed pods to Earth and then they
- 25:18tell him by the way. Yeah, you've destroyed the early
- 25:21human rights and he's met like with his head in his hands all
- 25:31the way he doesn't go completely.
- 25:35Off off the rails completely and he has a heroic ending which is
- 25:40one of the fault. It's not played like a big hero
- 25:44moment. Is it?
- 25:45O, is he still a very uncharismatic, man?
- 25:48So he doesn't get like a don't kill me.
- 25:51No. Just looking at Terry scully's
- 25:57pedia and we saw, he didn't take his own life.
- 26:00He did. And I've stroked in 2001.
- 26:05Oh, okay, 64 now then also did. Yes, you had a nervous breakdown
- 26:10while Steve was filming survivors.
- 26:12Oh, yes. Because the cut.
- 26:14Yeah, does. The character he plays is recast
- 26:17when it when he returns. Yes.
- 26:19Yeah. So there's not much on them
- 26:23after Or that or whether he becomes he doesn't, he doesn't
- 26:26like seven after that. It does it doesn't break seven.
- 26:31There's it's not the biggest Wikipedia entry.
- 26:34No. And he does want to turn
- 26:37sticks'. I'm classic cereals I've been
- 26:40cuz well, if I remember correctly, it's such a lovely
- 26:44sort of Twitchy, anxious performers.
- 26:47So, isn't it? It is, I find it a bit
- 26:49uncomfortable to watch. Yes, and that's the thing, isn't
- 26:52it? That's That's the that's the
- 26:55most stroke of his performance is that you're not, you
- 27:00understand the character, and you're not sure if you'd like
- 27:02him and you mean he makes you feel uncomfortable, because
- 27:05you're thinking all that time. What would I be doing in?
- 27:09If I was this person? What I'd be doing this.
- 27:12It's a question. Yeah.
- 27:14On would you sacrifice yourself or would you do what?
- 27:18And I think if we're honest a lot of us would be fuchsia.
- 27:22Mm yeah. Yeah, absolutely.
- 27:25I just do as I'm told it's well, so you can just take these seed
- 27:29pods as he boards. Okay, they are balloons, aren't
- 27:37they? That was just going off in his
- 27:41face. He's probably gonna need a
- 27:42holiday or something. After this, I can't see that.
- 27:50I'm quite fabulous, 15 minutes gushing about Fusion.
- 27:59There was Jamie and Zoe were just sort of tiptoeing about a
- 28:03bit and hard to Bianco little things like that.
- 28:06I've got to say it's like I said, no, not many regulars are
- 28:09put up this this sort of repetitive running around for,
- 28:12but I just feel they're great, like, I just.
- 28:15Okay. They're just hard to be on doors
- 28:16in plain sight like Scooby-Doo, they are gorgeous.
- 28:21As well. I think that really helps both
- 28:23of them are lovely and they're absolutely tiny.
- 28:27This is the, this is the least, tall taller, this team in the
- 28:31whole of Doctor Who. And so you automatically just
- 28:35want to put your arm around them and say it's all right, you'll
- 28:39be okay because they all seem really small and vulnerable
- 28:42against all these really monsters well and then they
- 28:45bring in the side man. The ice Warriors.
- 28:48Do you know things that? Don't you?
- 28:50Above all. It's very easy to make trout and
- 28:55sort of cower in Haiti. Yeah.
- 28:59Did you know his Miss Kelly then put in a free pin plug?
- 29:04As long as you has not Advanced too much on the moon, you know?
- 29:06Well it's a it's safety, it's fine.
- 29:11Oh that's it. That was at the first knows the
- 29:14Second Use. Wasn't it of the solar amplifier
- 29:17death which is comes very important obviously later on in
- 29:19the story. Yeah.
- 29:22Is that way to go but I had to feel about that although we're
- 29:24gonna get there but not only is killing people.
- 29:27But boy, he looks so cute with all that lash up all around him,
- 29:30all those wires but yeah that's that you can see it's that
- 29:34dichotomy that that juxtaposition between us.
- 29:39I keep going, come on I could use problem.
- 29:42I'm well-educated. I don't I you've been swallowing
- 29:46I fear for us this way. You can go on holiday meself,
- 29:50mediator. It will behave.
- 29:57Okay. So the first seed pod is heading
- 29:59to Earth. Yep.
- 30:02It's obviously London. Does it explode in front of
- 30:05eldradimon Radner? Yes, don't worry.
- 30:08Because it kills Brent, who's there who's sort of been in the
- 30:13background a bit in team, at control?
- 30:17Angela, if you pick something up and it starts, you know, growing
- 30:22it miserably. Just drop it or run away.
- 30:24Yeah, mmm. And then expel it all into
- 30:28London are outside. Perfect that will sort out as
- 30:33quite an interesting idea, as well as I do.
- 30:34Like the fact that we've established a team at is all
- 30:38around the world. So the pods are going or rather
- 30:41I said we do have a wide scale fret even though we're never
- 30:44going to go to any of those places.
- 30:47The stakes are signs of them you know just London and if it was
- 30:52the new series now you'd see that cropping up in in cat in
- 30:56Ottawa and all those other places that are named on that
- 30:59that's green and it's either - Trinity Wells on the Telly.
- 31:03Oh my God. Imagine before that I would like
- 31:05fairy liquid Subs around this is between 0 and Norm.
- 31:13This expanding balloon. Yes.
- 31:16We got solutely to the most intriguing Cliffhanger yet, the
- 31:25best player in the world. Did we are, you know, we've seen
- 31:30the doctor has been disabled and disarmed by By one of the polls.
- 31:42So if it well we know there's a bit of danger to go with this.
- 31:45So like I probably would have ended there.
- 31:49That would have been my Cliffhanger that thing going off
- 31:51in his face. Yeah, but you've still got five
- 31:55minutes to fill. So let me say it, you can fill
- 32:00it with a bit of running around. Yeah, we talked all over that
- 32:03file. See, we did.
- 32:05But definitely, we covered that before we got there, so that's
- 32:08fine. I didn't realize I was so many
- 32:10laws shots of him sort of Dashing from what side of the
- 32:13screen to the other. What I like in that sea is that
- 32:16his running gets, it gets shorter and shorter and shorter
- 32:20as the ice Warriors are advancing in.
- 32:22So you get quite a long A bit of in running and then he's come in
- 32:26and he's back then he's back a bit and then yeah.
- 32:28And then before, you know, it he's just turning around and
- 32:30they're all around it and, you know, it's a sort of weird
- 32:33pattern of the floor, the fun. I know, I know I'm talking about
- 32:37set design again, but like I don't know, it's just, it's not
- 32:41your typical Doctor Who visually is it?
- 32:45No, I mean that's that's Practically.
- 32:49That is not a great bit of design because that's not
- 32:53practical for moving. Anything around.
- 32:55You will that bit of equipment down the corridor?
- 32:57No.
