- 0:42Speaker 3: I am well rested.
- 0:45Speaker 1: Pugs. You don't like shits get back. You had a
- 0:48Speaker 1: terrible sole. I know that for a fact.
- 0:50Speaker 3: I literally could not sleep and I drink the entire
- 0:52Speaker 3: night about screwing this up?
- 0:54Speaker 2: How are you screwing it up? Out of curiosity? Was
- 0:56Speaker 2: it like technique wise with the boards there, or was
- 0:58Speaker 2: it your content or all of the above? Key right,
- 1:01Speaker 2: all of the above, Keezy.
- 1:04Speaker 3: No, it was more just in a sense that I
- 1:05Speaker 3: just didn't have my stuff together and I was just
- 1:09Speaker 3: sloppy work. Yeah right, Okay, so you can expect it's
- 1:11Speaker 3: going to be real tight, real refined for the next
- 1:14Speaker 3: four hours.
- 1:15Speaker 2: Brother, what about that content is gonna be pretty shit hot.
- 1:17Speaker 1: Ah CAZy, I've been planning all summer long.
- 1:22Speaker 2: That means he's got nothing, but hey, this show is
- 1:24Speaker 2: still gonna be absolutely excellent. It is Kezy and Pugs
- 1:26Speaker 2: Son for the rest of the week. If you do
- 1:28Speaker 2: need to get in touch, three four eight three is
- 1:30Speaker 2: the number, also, Pugs. Look, it's barely after six am.
- 1:34Speaker 2: It's the first radio shift of the year.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Can we go into something real chill here and just
- 1:38Speaker 1: sort of ease into the year? Yeah? Why not?
- 1:40Speaker 3: Man?
- 1:42Speaker 1: Is this Nirvana?
- 1:44Speaker 2: It's literally the exact opposite of what I asked for.
- 1:45Speaker 2: Pugs rock on Brother.
- 1:47Speaker 1: It's twenty twenty six.
- 1:48Speaker 4: We're off to a terrible start for the Hdarchy. Big
- 1:51Speaker 4: show week days from four on Radio Hodarky.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Is the Gorillas on the Hodarky Breakfast Monday Morning with
- 1:57Speaker 2: Keyzy and old pugsn and I'm to be ones Pugs.
- 2:00Speaker 2: This is the first proper radio we have done in
- 2:03Speaker 2: twenty twenty six. This is the This is kind of
- 2:06Speaker 2: how we're going to start the year, and this level
- 2:08Speaker 2: of quality is going to carry us through for the
- 2:10Speaker 2: rest of the year. All Right, So what I'm saying
- 2:12Speaker 2: is our content needs to be shit hot.
- 2:15Speaker 3: Chris, Can I just say I had a radio shift
- 2:17Speaker 3: yesterday on Hodaki.
- 2:18Speaker 1: It was hot shit.
- 2:20Speaker 2: Okay, so you've.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Come in rearing to go. That's good. It's nail this one.
- 2:23Speaker 1: All right, here we go.
- 2:28Speaker 2: This is breaking news. A Daneitan fish and chip shop
- 2:33Speaker 2: had an unlikely lock in over the weekend as a
- 2:36Speaker 2: stranded sea lion visited the store.
- 2:42Speaker 1: Yes, so I thought, that's when you're going to jump in.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Ah no, you're reading this story. Sorry, yeah, do you
- 2:47Speaker 1: want to go again to it? Oh?
- 2:48Speaker 2: No, that like what I literally just said the whole
- 2:50Speaker 2: thing about we need to start strong.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, because this is going to be carry starting
- 2:54Speaker 1: so strong. I was like, how am I gonna Well,
- 2:56Speaker 1: I just I put the way it works pug.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, yeah, I start basically, I see the
- 3:00Speaker 2: Deneten Fish and Chip shop had an unlikely locking over
- 3:03Speaker 2: the weekend as a stranded sea lion. Yeah, so I
- 3:06Speaker 2: thought you were going to jump in like that's okay.
- 3:09Speaker 1: I was being professional, like I've read the story. No,
- 3:11Speaker 1: you're good, You're good.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Okay, it's fine.
- 3:14Speaker 1: I just basically Dneedin Fish and Chip shop.
- 3:17Speaker 2: They couldn't get out of the shop because the sea
- 3:19Speaker 2: lion walked in, walked in through the front door. Like
- 3:23Speaker 2: on its Well, actually, it probably didn't walk and open
- 3:27Speaker 2: the door. I think it probably flopped.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Get hey, guys, how if shoes off or flippers all good?
- 3:35Speaker 2: You're right, probably sort of flopped in and then just
- 3:38Speaker 2: refused to leave and just sat on the door mat.
- 3:42Speaker 1: They're large, aren't they? Are they the more aggressive ones?
- 3:45Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 3:45Speaker 2: I mean, I'm looking at the photo here. It's bloody
- 3:48Speaker 2: large and it's right in front of the front door there.
- 3:50Speaker 2: So it's not a baby or anything like this. Is
- 3:52Speaker 2: this bloke means business?
- 3:54Speaker 3: I could see why it went to the fish and
- 3:55Speaker 3: chip shop. As a sea lion. If you were going
- 3:58Speaker 3: to go to any store, yeah you get fish. Yeah
- 4:01Speaker 3: that's right, You're not going to go to Bunning's trade.
- 4:03Speaker 1: What do you reckon?
- 4:03Speaker 2: A sea lion would order from a fish and chip shop?
- 4:06Speaker 1: Do you reckon?
- 4:07Speaker 2: It would be like one snapper, scoop of chips, hot dog.
- 4:12Speaker 3: I was gonna say, curry roll, to be fair, curry roll,
- 4:15Speaker 3: get out of here.
- 4:16Speaker 1: Are huge on the curry roll?
- 4:17Speaker 2: Now you just been ridiculous, tell you what I mean.
- 4:20Speaker 2: It started rough, but we got there in the and
- 4:23Speaker 2: I think it's going to be a good year. Space hog.
- 4:29Speaker 4: The hold King Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
- 4:32Speaker 4: Tune in week days at four on Radio Hold iking you.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Two there on the Darkey Breakfast.

- 4:43Speaker 2: it is humming along mate, doing a good job.
- 4:45Speaker 3: Oh thanks man, we're absolutely firing. Great texture and three
- 4:47Speaker 3: for eight three great show so far, fellas.
- 4:49Speaker 2: Really yeah yeah, wow, keep those ticks coming through. We
- 4:52Speaker 2: have got prizes galore, do we We don't know. I
- 4:55Speaker 2: don't think we do, do we?
- 4:56Speaker 3: No.
- 4:56Speaker 2: I'm sure we can rustle up some Reburger bouches or something.
- 4:59Speaker 1: There'll be something around here.
- 5:00Speaker 3: I mean, I'm sure there's going to be a conflict
- 5:01Speaker 3: in the Sponsorship's there if you're giving away Reburger in
- 5:03Speaker 3: the morning? Keezy?
- 5:04Speaker 2: Oh is this not sponsored by Reburger?
- 5:06Speaker 1: I don't. I hate no comment.
- 5:07Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Wait, so it's too early. You can't even say Reburger.
- 5:12Speaker 1: You look listen, man, every time you say it. Man,
- 5:15Speaker 1: we're losing weeks and weeks of sponsorship.
- 5:16Speaker 2: Here, right, Okay, okay, Well, one thing I would like
- 5:20Speaker 2: to sort of plug on the radio, if that's all
- 5:21Speaker 2: good with you. Pugs is my favorite band, well, one
- 5:24Speaker 2: of my favorite bands of all time. Number one band
- 5:27Speaker 2: for me is the Rolling Stones.
- 5:28Speaker 1: Number two.
- 5:29Speaker 2: To be honest, listening wise, number one is probably this
- 5:33Speaker 2: Kiwi band, Fat Frede's Drop.
- 5:34Speaker 1: A Yeah.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Every single year I get my sort of listening habits back.
- 5:38Speaker 1: I'm on Apple Music. I'm that one guy who has
- 5:40Speaker 1: Apple Music rather than Spotify.
- 5:41Speaker 2: Fat Freddy's Drop is always miles out in front and
- 5:45Speaker 2: in May they are performing their debut album based on
- 5:48Speaker 2: a true story from start to finish. They're going around
- 5:50Speaker 2: the country Aukland, Wellington and christ Church and Hodaki is
- 5:54Speaker 2: on board with it, which hopefully means we get free tickets.
- 5:56Speaker 3: But I have been annoying the daylights out of prebs
- 6:02Speaker 3: to see if we can't get some sponsor tickets. Gone yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 6:05Speaker 3: I mean I should just buy them, and I probably
- 6:07Speaker 3: still willow yeah, But come on.
- 6:09Speaker 2: You're loaded, Pugs man. Just get some cash out, would you. However,
- 6:12Speaker 2: we've got a great offer right now. It's called four
- 6:15Speaker 2: Mates to Freddy's to win tickets to the show of
- 6:17Speaker 2: your choice for you and three mates text fat so
- 6:20Speaker 2: three four eight three You can get all the details
- 6:23Speaker 2: from the gigs page up at Hoducky dot co dot MZ.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Decide which one you'd like to go along to.
- 6:27Speaker 1: But if you're.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Unsure which album is based on a true story? This
- 6:31Speaker 2: album I bought maybe like a week after it came
- 6:34Speaker 2: out and it has been on regular rotate.
- 6:37Speaker 1: It features a couple of these tunes where do you Go?
- 6:42Speaker 1: Where do you Go? I can't help that's roading when
- 6:49Speaker 1: it comes down.
- 6:52Speaker 3: That as a tune you actually give to be that
- 6:54Speaker 3: vinyl when you guys so graciously bought me that vinyl
- 6:57Speaker 3: player last year did we give you based on based
- 6:59Speaker 3: on a true sorry? And I listened to it maybe
- 7:01Speaker 3: once a week.
- 7:02Speaker 2: Hell yeah, I love it. So that's Roady from Fat
- 7:03Speaker 2: Freddy's Drop, and of course Wandering It is a tune
- 7:13Speaker 2: of course, the one that started it all. I kind
- 7:15Speaker 2: of music video as well. They're all working in the
- 7:17Speaker 2: fish and Chip shop, a whole lot of famous kiwis
- 7:19Speaker 2: come in. It's bloody good stuff. Fat Freddy's Drop pretending
- 7:21Speaker 2: in May per forming their groundbreaking album based on a
- 7:24Speaker 2: true story. You've got Awk, and you've got Wellington, You've
- 7:26Speaker 2: got christ Church. If you are keen to go to
- 7:28Speaker 2: any of those with three mates text fat to three
- 7:31Speaker 2: four eight three.
- 7:32Speaker 1: I did wonder why all the Texters were calling me fat.
- 7:35Speaker 4: The hidiarchy Big show was Jason, Mike, and Keezy tune
- 7:38Speaker 4: in four on Radio Hodaki.
- 7:41Speaker 2: Lump Presidents of the USA on the hid Ikey Breakfast Show.
- 7:44Speaker 2: You've got Kezy and pugsun here not only with you
- 7:46Speaker 2: this morning, but also for the rest of the week.
- 7:49Speaker 3: Keezy, I got a possible PR issue that I need
- 7:52Speaker 3: to cover off with you.
- 7:53Speaker 1: Yes, So essentially late last year, is.
- 7:55Speaker 2: This sorry, just quickly, is this big show? Pr Is
- 7:57Speaker 2: it going to look bad for the show?
- 7:59Speaker 1: Potentially could look bad for the show?
- 8:01Speaker 3: Okay, more for me personally or rather professionally around the office.
- 8:05Speaker 2: Oh well, I'm not too fazed.
- 8:06Speaker 1: In sweet shoul we just call it there, no tell
- 8:09Speaker 1: you tell me about it.
- 8:10Speaker 2: It's just like if it's going to make Jason look
- 8:12Speaker 2: bad or Mike or me, you know're.
- 8:14Speaker 1: Going to love it.
- 8:15Speaker 3: So essentially late last year, you might have seen a
- 8:18Speaker 3: few of the items that hang around.
- 8:20Speaker 1: The acc area in the studio. There are essentially six toys.
- 8:25Speaker 2: There are a lot of six toys in there. One
- 8:27Speaker 2: of them like there's a giant purple Fellus.
- 8:31Speaker 1: There's a couple of foullye Actually, this was like it
- 8:36Speaker 1: always freaks me out because at one point was on
- 8:38Speaker 1: the back of the door and you walk and you
- 8:40Speaker 1: close the door and almost get slapped in the face
- 8:42Speaker 1: of this giant purple And they're throwing them around all
- 8:45Speaker 1: the time.
- 8:45Speaker 3: They've got like sponsorship segments and stuff where they're just
- 8:47Speaker 3: buffing them around the office.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Juvenile. Really, it's an hr nightmare.
- 8:51Speaker 3: But there is another toy in there that doesn't resemble
- 8:54Speaker 3: a Fellus, but resembles another human body part that sits
- 9:00Speaker 3: around in the studio.
- 9:01Speaker 1: Okay, now I have thoroughly gone over.
- 9:06Speaker 2: You have visually all of these six toys. Yea, there
- 9:10Speaker 2: is one in particular which is frightening. It is it
- 9:14Speaker 2: is of and I'm just describing it purely so that
- 9:18Speaker 2: the audience gets an idea.
- 9:19Speaker 1: Cover your ears, kids in the car, et cter, et cetera.
- 9:22Speaker 2: Yep, you're allowed to say this word at school a
- 9:24Speaker 2: mouth ah exactly.
- 9:27Speaker 3: So that's been sitting in the ACEC studio, just sort
- 9:29Speaker 3: of tucked around the corner of the heir. Now, late
- 9:32Speaker 3: last year, I remember a conversation that I had with
- 9:35Speaker 3: g Lane head of the ACC where I made a
- 9:38Speaker 3: joke and I said, ah, you're going to come back
- 9:41Speaker 3: from the holidays man, and that that thing's going to
- 9:43Speaker 3: be missing, and lying that I was going to take
- 9:46Speaker 3: it home secretly over the holidays for personal use.
- 9:49Speaker 1: The mouth flashlight thing. Yeah, okay, I like that. You
- 9:53Speaker 1: call it that anyway.
- 9:56Speaker 3: Come to find I was mosying around the a SEC
- 9:59Speaker 3: studio today.
- 10:00Speaker 2: What you're doing in there?
- 10:01Speaker 3: Oh?
- 10:01Speaker 1: Sorry on Friday? Was it Friday? Friday? Unrelated reasons? It
- 10:05Speaker 1: was a Friday.
- 10:06Speaker 3: Wasn't a hoidy j going to see if there's any
- 10:08Speaker 3: chips around kind of moment?
- 10:10Speaker 1: Yeah, I know what it was. It would have been
- 10:11Speaker 1: you stealing free beers out of the fridge.
- 10:13Speaker 3: No, no, okay, I was just looking. I was just
- 10:17Speaker 3: having a nosey, right, And I walked past where I
- 10:21Speaker 3: initially saw this toy late last year and lo and behold,
- 10:26Speaker 3: yeah it's gone. Oh the toy is gone. So over
- 10:30Speaker 3: that break, somebody else has taken it. And now because
- 10:35Speaker 3: I've had that conversation with g Lane, He's going to
- 10:37Speaker 3: get back his holiday see that it's not there, and
- 10:40Speaker 3: who's he going to think of?
- 10:42Speaker 1: Old punks?
- 10:42Speaker 2: Old Pugs. Okay, so there's really only two culprits here.
- 10:46Speaker 2: The guy who said he was going to take it, yeah,
- 10:49Speaker 2: well he's not the one really taking it, or the
- 10:53Speaker 2: guy who knew it was going to be taken so
- 10:56Speaker 2: took it first.
- 10:58Speaker 1: That's actually not a bad shout.
- 10:59Speaker 3: I did not think that he might have just done
- 11:01Speaker 3: that and got a hit of it, because you know,
- 11:03Speaker 3: I maybe gave him a bit of a fright when
- 11:06Speaker 3: I said that I was going to take it. Yeah,
- 11:08Speaker 3: and so he's gone, right. I need to get around
- 11:10Speaker 3: this and get in there before all pugsun.
- 11:11Speaker 2: Does because there's to be honest Pugs. And I mean
- 11:13Speaker 2: this was the utmost respect.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Oh, here we go.
- 11:16Speaker 2: There's only two people I could think of that would.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Love me with gla.
- 11:23Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 11:24Speaker 2: Yeah, you're right, that's too far. That is too far.
- 11:26Speaker 2: So did you take it, Pugs? Because in my mind
- 11:29Speaker 2: also you did take it. You're trying to get out
- 11:30Speaker 2: ahead of.
- 11:31Speaker 3: This and and spin this door. Did not steal the
- 11:35Speaker 3: ac C sex toy. Why are you saying it in
- 11:38Speaker 3: a weird excit like Bell Clinton? Yeah, I know I
- 11:41Speaker 3: get it.
- 11:41Speaker 2: But why it makes you seem more guilty that you
- 11:43Speaker 2: can't even just look me in the eye and say
- 11:45Speaker 2: you didn't look.
- 11:46Speaker 1: I was looking because I wanted to take it all right,
- 11:48Speaker 1: And it's gone right okay, So g Lane's got it properly.
- 11:51Speaker 4: Discuss the Hiarchy Big Show week days from four on
- 11:56Speaker 4: Radio Hurdarchy.
- 11:57Speaker 1: On the Hurdarchy Breakfast.
- 11:58Speaker 2: It is almost seven am this Monday morning, the twelfth
- 12:01Speaker 2: of Jen twenty twenty six. By the way, you got
- 12:02Speaker 2: Kezy here and pugs Son coming up after seven o'clock. Pugs,
- 12:05Speaker 2: we thought we'd dust off a big show favorite whenever
- 12:07Speaker 2: we cover breakfast, it is what's on the Breakfast New
- 12:11Speaker 2: Zealand with me Keesy, Or.
- 12:13Speaker 3: If you're a big fan like us and you like
- 12:14Speaker 3: to colloquialize, what's on the bricky Bricky, Yeah, it's just
- 12:18Speaker 3: bricky time round here man totally.
- 12:20Speaker 2: Pugs Son three four eight three, send through what you
- 12:23Speaker 2: are having for breakfast? Put you in the drawer for
- 12:26Speaker 2: some prizes. The good news is we didn't have any
- 12:27Speaker 2: prizes at the beginning of the show, but Pugs has
- 12:29Speaker 2: been doing some rooting around in the old prize cup.
- 12:32Speaker 1: But there, what have you got for.
- 12:32Speaker 2: Us, Pugs?
- 12:33Speaker 3: Well, I've been in the acc studio and I've got
- 12:35Speaker 3: a whole bunch of FOULI.
- 12:35Speaker 1: To give away. Oh really yeah yeah, sticking it from
- 12:38Speaker 1: the perstl stash.
- 12:39Speaker 2: No vouchers for Reburger anything.
- 12:41Speaker 1: Oh maybe, Okay, I'll see what I can do.
- 12:43Speaker 2: Plus, Pugs has a wacky buzzy related issue with his instagram.
- 12:48Speaker 1: Okay, that's maybe the worst teas of all time. That's
- 12:52Speaker 1: is it not correct?
- 12:53Speaker 3: My explore page has been contaminated. Ah, okay, and it's
- 12:57Speaker 3: it's going to cause a bit of a drummer And
- 12:59Speaker 3: it's not your fault. Well, of course it's not my fault.
- 13:02Speaker 3: What am I an animal? Yes?
- 13:04Speaker 4: Maybe the hood Aching Big Show with J, Mike and Kezy.
- 13:10Speaker 4: Tune in week days at four on Radio Hodaki.
- 13:18Speaker 1: Good Morning New Zealand.
- 13:19Speaker 2: It is Monday, the twelfth of January twenty twenty six.
- 13:22Speaker 2: You do have the Big Show covering Bricky no Hoidy,
- 13:25Speaker 2: J no Mogi, but you do have Keezy and Pugs
- 13:27Speaker 2: on Morning Pugs Morning, Kezy Man, how are you feeling?
- 13:31Speaker 3: I'm feeling a hell of a lot better than I
- 13:33Speaker 3: did an hour ago. Let me say that I've had
- 13:35Speaker 3: a black and instant coffee and two tablespoons of a
- 13:39Speaker 3: cheer pudding.
- 13:40Speaker 2: Perfect. It looks delicious. You've got it in an old
- 13:43Speaker 2: al Paso salsagear.
- 13:45Speaker 1: Like perfect size, perfect size, it's.
- 13:47Speaker 2: A perfect size. My wife often makes a little cheer
- 13:49Speaker 2: seed puddings, which is like, you know, cheer seeds and
- 13:51Speaker 2: yogurts and all sorts of stuff.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Right, you can just bang anything in there, man, Yeah,
- 13:56Speaker 1: it's the pugs On approach to life. Really, just bang
- 13:59Speaker 1: anything in the yeah.
- 14:01Speaker 3: Man.
- 14:02Speaker 2: Speaking of bricky though, Pugs coming up shortly. What's on
- 14:05Speaker 2: the bricky with me?
- 14:06Speaker 1: Keezy?
- 14:06Speaker 2: Keep those texts coming through on three four eight three.
- 14:08Speaker 2: What are you having for breakfast today? They're already flooding
- 14:11Speaker 2: in and tell you what I'm salivating. I'm impressed just
- 14:15Speaker 2: reading these, for example, rittle in an evape banger. Yeah,
- 14:20Speaker 2: that sounds delicious. Keep the ticks coming on three four
- 14:23Speaker 2: eight three. In the meantime, go this is a tune?
- 14:27Speaker 1: Who's this again? Stereophonic?
- 14:31Speaker 2: That's right.

- 19:30Speaker 3: like I've been.
- 19:30Speaker 1: Down with it.
- 19:32Speaker 2: It sounds like you're anti it.
- 19:33Speaker 3: No, no, no, I'm getting down with it because I've
- 19:36Speaker 3: noticed that I've tried a couple of things and they
- 19:38Speaker 3: just taste exactly the same. And I mean, I'm sure
- 19:40Speaker 3: gluten's fine. I'm not really that bothered about that kind
- 19:42Speaker 3: of thing. But if it helps and I get a
- 19:45Speaker 3: gluten free item, right, you know, I'll take the benefit.
- 19:49Speaker 2: So you're saying you quite often have eaten stuff that
- 19:51Speaker 2: is gluten free and thought that's delicious.
- 19:53Speaker 1: Not notice the difference?
- 19:54Speaker 2: Oh really? Yeah, because there is a very like miniaho

- 20:28Speaker 2: washed back with a Rothman red and the gatorade.
- 20:30Speaker 3: That's quite a conflict of flavors there, going from a
- 20:33Speaker 3: Lasagne topper straight to the corn on blue.
- 20:34Speaker 1: I feel like it's quite polarizing. Usually you go one
- 20:37Speaker 1: or the other.
- 20:37Speaker 2: I beg to differ pugs because quite often, and I'm
- 20:40Speaker 2: a huge Lasagna topp of guy, quite often I can't
- 20:43Speaker 2: choose between a court on Blue and Lazangia top because
- 20:45Speaker 2: I love cord On Blues as well. He's just got
- 20:47Speaker 2: both men.
- 20:48Speaker 1: I do respect that.
- 20:49Speaker 3: If you're not sure, go both. I am normally more
- 20:51Speaker 3: of a court on Blue kind of guy.
- 20:53Speaker 1: Fancy boy there, Get a feelers vape, ice latte and
- 20:57Speaker 1: a poop. Get a feel Sorry, he's eating poop for brick.
- 21:02Speaker 2: I think he's gonna do that afternons and we don't
- 21:03Speaker 2: know if it's a dude to a woman. So now
- 21:05Speaker 2: you're being sixers.
- 21:06Speaker 1: Sorry, So they're eating poop for breakfast.
- 21:09Speaker 2: Maybe get a Feeler's protein shaken diesel fumes nice.

- 21:29Speaker 2: I'm serving them humble pie for breakfast.
- 21:31Speaker 1: They're pugs for you, and I get gluten free.
- 21:34Speaker 2: No.
- 21:36Speaker 4: The Hurdiarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy tune
- 21:39Speaker 4: in week days at four on Radio.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Hodach Supergrass on The Hurdicky Breakfast.
- 21:43Speaker 2: Seven thirty nine This Monday Morning with Keezy and PUGSN
- 21:47Speaker 2: and Pugs. Hello, you've got a buzzy problem.
- 21:52Speaker 1: I don't have a Okay, let me just start by
- 21:53Speaker 1: saying this.
- 21:54Speaker 3: I do not have a busy problem, but I do
- 21:56Speaker 3: need some advice from you, keezy.
- 21:57Speaker 1: Okay.
- 21:58Speaker 3: Your Instagram Explorer pages like all felt right, So like
- 22:02Speaker 3: you're sleeezing on their people in between like the voice
- 22:06Speaker 3: breaks that we do here, you're on your phone looking
- 22:10Speaker 3: at I'm on my phone, not even looking at clad people,
- 22:13Speaker 3: not even.
- 22:13Speaker 2: Talking to you, not helping plan content because I don't care.
- 22:18Speaker 1: But people don't.
- 22:18Speaker 2: A lot of people listen, don't even know what an
- 22:20Speaker 2: Instagram explore page is.
- 22:21Speaker 3: Okay, So if you if you're not a favorite Instagram
- 22:24Speaker 3: your explore page is like your feed that you go
- 22:27Speaker 3: to to find new content from people that you don't
- 22:30Speaker 3: necessarily follow, or just popular content on the website.
- 22:34Speaker 2: So your regular your regular pages, people you follow, you're
- 22:37Speaker 2: getting served stuff that you were after. But then you
- 22:39Speaker 2: might decide, oh, I want some new stuff.
- 22:41Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 22:41Speaker 2: You go to your explore page and it suggests stuff.
- 22:43Speaker 3: And it suggests stuff a lot of the time using
- 22:45Speaker 3: an algorithm based on your interests or stuff, and you
- 22:48Speaker 3: that you engage with on the site.
- 22:51Speaker 1: So if you like a lot of certain contents.
- 22:53Speaker 3: So, for example, a lot of mine until quite recently
- 22:56Speaker 3: has been Japanese vehicles, right, so you Japanese vehicles or
- 23:01Speaker 3: other nerd stuff, gaming stuff, whatever. However, lately, I've encountered
- 23:07Speaker 3: several scantily clad women on my Instagram explore page feed.
- 23:14Speaker 2: Right now, just every now and then, your explore page
- 23:19Speaker 2: feed can sort of.
- 23:19Speaker 1: Get away on you, not me personally either, Chris, No,
- 23:24Speaker 1: like mine. You've seen my explore page. I've seen it.
- 23:26Speaker 2: No, I'm showing you it right now. What have we
- 23:29Speaker 2: got on there? We have got it's currently Oh my god,
- 23:34Speaker 2: I know someone opening a Pokemon card. For some reason,
- 23:38Speaker 2: Pokemon cards have showed up in my explore page. We've
- 23:42Speaker 2: got all the different years of Sabara and Pritzer in
- 23:44Speaker 2: which WRX looks bes.
- 23:46Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure I've had that exact same post on
- 23:48Speaker 1: my page.
- 23:49Speaker 2: I've got motorbikes, old school motorbikes, old cars and stuff,
- 23:53Speaker 2: and no scantily clared women online. But sometimes you can.
- 23:57Speaker 2: They can infiltrate.
- 23:58Speaker 3: They can infiltrate, and they've started to infiltrate mine.
- 24:00Speaker 1: Now.
- 24:01Speaker 3: I don't consider myself a sleeze er a perv. I
- 24:04Speaker 3: do consider that Instagram is full of a lot of
- 24:07Speaker 3: content like that, so it's probably quite natural for that
- 24:09Speaker 3: to maybe get on your page every now and then.
- 24:11Speaker 1: However, what I've discovered has shocked me.
- 24:15Speaker 3: I've gone on my page and I've had at least
- 24:17Speaker 3: three instances now where I'll be swiping on my Explore
- 24:21Speaker 3: page and a scantily clad lady will come up, and
- 24:23Speaker 3: don't get me wrong, they look fantastic, great for them,
- 24:26Speaker 3: but I'm like, why is this on my page?
- 24:28Speaker 1: I don't engage with this kind of post.
- 24:30Speaker 3: And then I go down and what Instagram will do
- 24:33Speaker 3: is tell you who in your following has liked any
- 24:37Speaker 3: given for your friends, so.
- 24:38Speaker 1: It could be your friends.
- 24:39Speaker 3: And that goes for all the posts that'll say if
- 24:41Speaker 3: they've reposted something or if they've liked something. And I've
- 24:44Speaker 3: been shocked to find that when I go I look
- 24:46Speaker 3: down at who's liked it to try and discover why
- 24:49Speaker 3: that's on my page, my clean nerd page on Instagram.
- 24:54Speaker 3: And it's my father's name, been.
- 25:00Speaker 1: Liking busy Pixel Instagram. That's so good.
- 25:05Speaker 2: So that is so good.
- 25:06Speaker 1: It's my dad's name.
- 25:08Speaker 3: Pops up and the likes there, it'll be like this
- 25:11Speaker 3: man liked like by pugs, other liked by PUGSN signor can.
- 25:17Speaker 2: I just put a little message out there for people, dudes,
- 25:20Speaker 2: especially older dudes. Yeah, following hotties on Instagram? Right, yeah,
- 25:25Speaker 2: follow hotties on Instagram. That's fine, look at hotties like whatever.
- 25:28Speaker 2: You're an old dude, you want to look at hotties.
- 25:30Speaker 2: I get it. You don't have to like the picture.
- 25:32Speaker 1: You don't need to like.
- 25:34Speaker 3: In my head, I'm like, what is he thinking is
- 25:36Speaker 3: going to happen by him liking that? Does he think
- 25:37Speaker 3: that they're going to see that and go oh oh
- 25:39Speaker 3: pug sounds senior? I see he's like the photo. Okay,
- 25:42Speaker 3: now we go again to reach out.
- 25:44Speaker 1: What does he think's going to happen? I don't know.
- 25:46Speaker 2: You don't need to like it. You can like it
- 25:48Speaker 2: within yourself. You can see to yourself. I like that exactly.
- 25:52Speaker 2: But you do not need to double tap the photo
- 25:54Speaker 2: or click the heart or even worse, comment, Do not comment.
- 25:57Speaker 1: Just take your heavier, sleezy look and move on.
- 26:00Speaker 2: Please. Yeah, anyone else's dad's looking at busies on Instagram?
- 26:05Speaker 1: Three?
- 26:07Speaker 4: The Hiarchy Big Show was Jason, Mike, and Kezy tune in.
- 26:13Speaker 2: But Adeshwala on the Hdarky Breakfast Show to seven fifty
- 26:17Speaker 2: six Monday Morning with Keezy and pugsn Coming up after
- 26:20Speaker 2: eight o'clock, Pugs, I want to check Christmas presents. The
- 26:23Speaker 2: reason being I am sick of the fact that I, yes,
- 26:28Speaker 2: I'm in my mid thirties. However, Christmas presents are now boring.
- 26:33Speaker 1: Chris, what if I can call you Chris?
- 26:36Speaker 3: Sure, I'm twenty nine, so I'm not that much younger
- 26:40Speaker 3: than you. Yes, but my Christmas presents absolutely ripped.
- 26:46Speaker 1: Air Pach James. Yeah, can I call you that?
- 26:49Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 26:50Speaker 2: It really breaks my heart to hear that. But I'm
- 26:51Speaker 2: not surprised, and I think the older I get, the
- 26:53Speaker 2: more boring my presents become. But the worst part is
- 26:55Speaker 2: I'm excited by them. But we'll get into that after
- 26:58Speaker 2: eight o'clock, right, all right, I'm looking for to telling
- 27:00Speaker 2: you how ungrateful you being.
- 27:01Speaker 1: Really?
- 27:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, I am being ungrateful, but I I
- 27:04Speaker 2: just wish they'd go back to being exciting again, like
- 27:06Speaker 2: when I was a little kid. Also coming up after
- 27:08Speaker 2: eight o'clock, Pugs, the top ten list of baby names
- 27:12Speaker 2: came out for both boys and girls. Yes, and I
- 27:15Speaker 2: haven't looked at the list of names, but I think
- 27:17Speaker 2: I can guess which names are on there. I'd also
- 27:20Speaker 2: like to guess which names definitely are.
- 27:21Speaker 1: Not on there.
- 27:22Speaker 3: Fantastic looking forward to it, and also maybe afraid if
- 27:26Speaker 3: we're lucky. I went on holiday like everybody did, and
- 27:30Speaker 3: Mike Minogue told me once that nobody ever wants to
- 27:32Speaker 3: hear about what went well on your holiday. I want
- 27:34Speaker 3: to hear what went wrong. So I've got some misadventures
- 27:36Speaker 3: to discuss.
- 27:37Speaker 1: Sounds good, Pugs, it's all coming up after eight o'clock
- 27:39Speaker 1: on that I can agree with.

- 28:43Speaker 2: by busy picks, hot girls and bikinis.
- 28:47Speaker 3: There's been numerous instances now where something's popped up on
- 28:51Speaker 3: my explore page on Instagram, and it's been a scintily

- 30:04Speaker 2: more boring based on the presence that I'm getting. Now
- 30:08Speaker 2: that sounds like massively ungrateful. But the worst part is
- 30:14Speaker 2: I love the prisons I'm getting and I open them
- 30:16Speaker 2: and I go yes, But that's so boring that I
- 30:20Speaker 2: worry that my life has just become boring, and I'm
- 30:23Speaker 2: excited by that.
- 30:23Speaker 1: Okay, you know what I mean.
- 30:24Speaker 2: So before we get into this, Pugs, you said you've
- 30:26Speaker 2: got great prisons for Christmas from Santa. Would you please
- 30:30Speaker 2: just give me a quick rundown of what you got
- 30:32Speaker 2: for Christmas?
- 30:33Speaker 3: I was very, very lucky, so my partner bought me
- 30:36Speaker 3: a backpack that I really really needed because at the
- 30:41Speaker 3: time that she made the purchase, I was looking at
- 30:43Speaker 3: getting I was looking at getting an electric bike and
- 30:46Speaker 3: so but also I'm taking it to Vna. I was
- 30:48Speaker 3: very cool backpack. Okay cool backpack is very cool? Okay
- 30:52Speaker 3: cool from my family I got. I got a tea
- 30:56Speaker 3: light holder, a decorative Nicknack tea with folks.
- 31:02Speaker 1: I was hoping you would have got cool prisons.
- 31:06Speaker 2: So that my list then sounds boring, But okay, my
- 31:11Speaker 2: list is now going to sound awesome.
- 31:12Speaker 1: Christ I've got two more okay, book a book. Got
- 31:16Speaker 1: a book.
- 31:16Speaker 3: What's a book on It's a storybook called Tomorrow, Tomorrow Tomorrow.
- 31:19Speaker 3: I've been recommended it many times. And finally I got
- 31:22Speaker 3: two handmade Japanese ceramic catching items, one for soy sauce,
- 31:26Speaker 3: a little jug and then want to hold my Chelli fakes.
- 31:29Speaker 1: So anyway, those are my whacky see.
- 31:33Speaker 2: Okay, maybe maybe you're also, I mean you're I don't
- 31:36Speaker 2: think there's boring, No, I see, this is what I'm
- 31:38Speaker 2: talking about, though. All those items are boring.
- 31:42Speaker 3: Okay, okay, no, no, no no, Now you're going after
- 31:45Speaker 3: my no no no no no.
- 31:47Speaker 2: It's exactly what you wanted. It's exactly what you needed,
- 31:49Speaker 2: and you're stoked about it. Right. But back in the day,
- 31:53Speaker 2: it would be Christmas and I'd open something and it
- 31:54Speaker 2: would be like a mean hot wheels race car set.
- 31:59Speaker 3: My mother in law got me a tea shit, a
- 32:01Speaker 3: vintage secondhand tea shit.
- 32:04Speaker 1: And you're beat, you a stoked by I was so stoked.
- 32:07Speaker 1: This is the issue is we're boring. So here's what
- 32:10Speaker 1: I got for Christmas, and I was stoked by all
- 32:13Speaker 1: of this. A packet of undies, great, four pairs of
- 32:17Speaker 1: jockeys too, good quality classic Yeah see that's really good.
- 32:20Speaker 2: Yeah, And I need one of those every year, and
- 32:22Speaker 2: then I sort of get rid of my old ones
- 32:24Speaker 2: and that keeps me up to date in the under front.
- 32:27Speaker 1: Ah, some socks with warriors.
- 32:29Speaker 2: Logos on it. Great, it's exciting. Right, it's got the
- 32:32Speaker 2: Warrior's logo on it.
- 32:35Speaker 1: And you're worried about getting boring gifts men Wars socks?
- 32:38Speaker 1: Are you kidding me?
- 32:39Speaker 2: Oh no, I was stoked and I wore them on
- 32:41Speaker 2: the golf course over the weekend and I got I
- 32:43Speaker 2: gotta comment from someone.
- 32:44Speaker 1: A comment, a positive Okay, right, there was just a.
- 32:47Speaker 2: Little up the Wars and I was like, yeah, baby,
- 32:50Speaker 2: a bottle of truffle oil.
- 32:52Speaker 1: See now that's effect. That's great. Anything in the kitchen
- 32:56Speaker 1: cooking cool stuff, food great.
- 32:59Speaker 3: Boring.
- 33:00Speaker 2: A baking dish because that's boring.
- 33:04Speaker 1: That's so boring.
- 33:05Speaker 2: Because we were making canalone last year and as we
- 33:09Speaker 2: pulled it out of the oven, it was so hot
- 33:11Speaker 2: or something that the baking dish that the canaloni was
- 33:13Speaker 2: and just cracked in half and spilt ricotta all over
- 33:16Speaker 2: my oven. So I've got a new baking dish in
- 33:18Speaker 2: the west part is. I opened it up and went, yes,
- 33:20Speaker 2: we need one of these now we can make lasagna again.
- 33:24Speaker 1: And finally, a new sprinkler for the lawn.
- 33:27Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, see they got more boring as it went on,
- 33:30Speaker 3: because shocker, it's boring. Someone bought me a sprinkler I'd
- 33:35Speaker 3: be so grateful.
- 33:36Speaker 1: I was gonna say, careful. My wife bought there for me.
- 33:38Speaker 2: And the reason she's grateful for your wife is because
- 33:41Speaker 2: I'm watering this patch of lawn and I have to
- 33:42Speaker 2: keep moving the little sprinkler.
- 33:44Speaker 1: So she got me one that will do the whole
- 33:45Speaker 1: lot in one go. I like that you're doing the
- 33:47Speaker 1: action of sprinkling. The sprinkle will spray.
- 33:51Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, but those are all boring back in the
- 33:53Speaker 2: day as I see like hot wheels, maybe a train set,
- 33:56Speaker 2: maybe a new BMX bike.
- 33:57Speaker 1: You know what I mean.
- 33:58Speaker 2: I don't want any of those things now.
- 34:00Speaker 1: No, exactly you need to get this Holy Undies.
- 34:03Speaker 2: So what did you get?
- 34:04Speaker 1: A tea light and a soy sauce bottle and a backpack. God?
- 34:08Speaker 1: This is so rock and roll, isn't it. We're on
- 34:11Speaker 1: Darchy for some reason? Why we should be on coast?
- 34:13Speaker 1: Here's supergroup.
- 34:14Speaker 4: The Hiarchy Big show was Jason, Mike and Kezy tune.
- 34:18Speaker 2: In four Chy pixies. Here comes your man. It is
- 34:22Speaker 2: the Hidarchy Breakfast Show this Monday morning, twenty seven minutes past.
- 34:25Speaker 2: Stay with Keezy and Pugs and Pugs last two hi
- 34:32Speaker 2: the last two years in a row. We've hited over
- 34:35Speaker 2: to Brisbane the sun Corpse Stadium. Yes, we've gone along
- 34:39Speaker 2: to Magic Round for the NRL, which is every single
- 34:42Speaker 2: team in the NRL except for one. There's always one
- 34:44Speaker 2: team on to buy because it's seventeen teams Pugs. Ah,
- 34:47Speaker 2: But it does mean eight games of NRL back to
- 34:50Speaker 2: back to back to back to back to back to
- 34:51Speaker 2: back over a long weekend at Suncorp Stadium. How would
- 34:54Speaker 2: you describe your experience over there.
- 34:56Speaker 1: The first time we went.
- 34:57Speaker 3: I was so because we I hadn't done many overseas
- 35:01Speaker 3: trips of work before, and I also was very inexperienced
- 35:04Speaker 3: in the world of league. Yes, so I went over
- 35:07Speaker 3: there and I was trying really really hard to like
- 35:09Speaker 3: focus on the game, learn as much as I could,
- 35:11Speaker 3: and like be responsible and like look after you cats.
- 35:14Speaker 3: Especially with the whole debacle of us missing our flights.
- 35:17Speaker 3: I was so paranoid about all of that. So I
- 35:20Speaker 3: was like really conscious about getting everything right. This time,
- 35:23Speaker 3: I was an absolute animal.
- 35:24Speaker 1: Yeah, it was.
- 35:25Speaker 2: This time was way more debaucherous, I think one hundred
- 35:27Speaker 2: percent because that first time we went over there two
- 35:29Speaker 2: years ago, the was one on the Sunday. We were
- 35:31Speaker 2: supposed to flow home afterwards. We flagged it, came home
- 35:34Speaker 2: on the Monday and steered. The only flights available were
- 35:35Speaker 2: like premium economy costs a fortune.
- 35:37Speaker 1: So good.
- 35:38Speaker 2: It was excellent, But this last time just gone. It
- 35:40Speaker 2: was just an entire weekend of just diet cokes and
- 35:44Speaker 2: the diet seven ups.
- 35:45Speaker 1: And just whatever they had that was diet and soda
- 35:49Speaker 1: on the menu. We were having it.
- 35:50Speaker 2: We were having it, yeah.
- 35:51Speaker 3: And I think it was also that we were all
- 35:54Speaker 3: it wasn't our first rodeo, and I think that meant
- 35:57Speaker 3: that we really sunk into it more. But also just
- 35:58Speaker 3: the atmosphere is electric, give every time, and so once
- 36:01Speaker 3: we got.
- 36:01Speaker 1: There, we were just meeting people left, right and center.
- 36:04Speaker 1: It was great and partying up. That's right, you chuck
- 36:06Speaker 1: on your vintage NRL jersey you get over there. Also
- 36:09Speaker 1: a good point because it was the second time I've
- 36:11Speaker 1: done it before. Yeah, I didn't feel like any pressure
- 36:14Speaker 1: to go and see as many games as possible, or
- 36:16Speaker 1: do this and do that. Instead, we were just on
- 36:18Speaker 1: Caston Street, walking up and down all the hotels there.
- 36:21Speaker 2: You know, you're into the Warriors fan pub, which just
- 36:24Speaker 2: goes off and is packed to the gunnals. Oh shall
- 36:26Speaker 2: we go watch the next game at the stadium?
- 36:27Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 36:28Speaker 2: Or should we just watch in the car park of
- 36:29Speaker 2: the Caxston Hotel with the thousands of other people eating
- 36:32Speaker 2: Glizzi dogs. It was it was way less pressure. Absolutely
- 36:36Speaker 2: loved it. Cannot wait to go back, and Hoduki is
- 36:38Speaker 2: going back May the fifteenth to the seventeenth. That is
- 36:42Speaker 2: NRL Magic Ground in Brisbane. And while we will be
- 36:45Speaker 2: giving away tickets to join us on that trip, if
- 36:48Speaker 2: you want to guarantee your spot, head to Boystrip dot Co,
- 36:51Speaker 2: dot and Z get your mates together and secure your
- 36:53Speaker 2: package through them. That'll put you on the exact same
- 36:57Speaker 2: itinery and stuff as us. So if you don't win
- 36:59Speaker 2: the prize, you'll still be at the same lunch and
- 37:02Speaker 2: dinner functions that we go to. A few like you
- 37:04Speaker 2: know situations we were all in a big room chatting,
- 37:07Speaker 2: getting free drinks and free food and stuff. It's bloody
- 37:09Speaker 2: awesome and you'll be able to join us at Magic around.
- 37:11Speaker 3: The whole point of the boys Trup packages is to
- 37:13Speaker 3: take the admin out of it for you, that's right, mate,
- 37:15Speaker 3: so you can spend more time getting amongst it with
- 37:17Speaker 3: the fellers having Glizzie dogs and having responsible diet cokes.
- 37:21Speaker 2: That's right, That's that's what it's all about. It includes flights, accommodation, transfers,
- 37:25Speaker 2: tekets to all the games, and access to the functions
- 37:27Speaker 2: hosted by the Foils. Apparently we're hosting a function. How
- 37:30Speaker 2: good is that?
- 37:31Speaker 1: Boys? Trip dot co dot in zid, get stuck in
- 37:34Speaker 1: and we'll see you there.
- 37:36Speaker 4: The Hiarchy big show was ke and Kyzy tune in.
- 37:40Speaker 2: Fat Boys Slim on the Hidarchy Breakfast Show Monday Morning
- 37:44Speaker 2: with Keizy and Pugs. The time is eight forty one
- 37:46Speaker 2: seeing that live that song? Yeah, what did it look like?
- 37:50Speaker 1: Was it a guy?
- 37:51Speaker 3: What did it look like as in the live show
- 37:53Speaker 3: of Fat Boy Slam of that song live? Yeah, it
- 37:55Speaker 3: was Fat Boy Slam DJing.
- 37:58Speaker 2: Was it sick?
- 37:59Speaker 1: It was so sad.
- 38:00Speaker 2: I've never seen like I have, like, you know, various
- 38:03Speaker 2: gigs and stuff, but not really paid close attention to
- 38:06Speaker 2: like just a DJ live gig.
- 38:09Speaker 1: I always going to see bands.
- 38:11Speaker 3: Yeah, but we've been to like we did Synthony and
- 38:13Speaker 3: stuff like that, you know what I mean next DJs?
- 38:15Speaker 2: Yeah, but Synthony also has a one hundred piece live
- 38:17Speaker 2: orchestra behind it or something.
- 38:19Speaker 3: Yeah, but I mean like the side DJs, like the
- 38:21Speaker 3: little side stages. I wasn't over there, Okay, not fear anyway.
- 38:26Speaker 3: The most popular baby names are out for twenty twenty five,
- 38:29Speaker 3: and we can run through the top three just quickly
- 38:31Speaker 3: while we're here. So there were fifty eight thousand odd
- 38:35Speaker 3: births registered.
- 38:36Speaker 1: In in Zi in twenty twenty five.
- 38:37Speaker 3: Well done at nineteen four hundred and fifty seven unique names,
- 38:42Speaker 3: and a lot of these have been.
- 38:43Speaker 1: The most popular before.
- 38:45Speaker 2: Okay.
- 38:46Speaker 3: In fact, I think the number one for the fowlers
- 38:47Speaker 3: has been the same for like three years running. So
- 38:49Speaker 3: top boys' names of twenty twenty five. Number three, you've
- 38:52Speaker 3: got Oliver Ollie.
- 38:53Speaker 1: Okay.
- 38:53Speaker 2: There's a lot of names I've noticed ending with an I. Yeah, okay,
- 38:57Speaker 2: so Olie. Other one name one more poppy, that's a why.
- 39:03Speaker 2: Well that's ay, but you know what I mean, like
- 39:04Speaker 2: the ends and an I like it sounds a.
- 39:07Speaker 1: Bit cute to you. Yeah, I see what you're saying,
- 39:09Speaker 1: but yeah, that's an abbreviation. Okay. So number three Olie.
- 39:12Speaker 1: Number two Luca.
- 39:13Speaker 2: Luky Luca is the second most pope you.
- 39:16Speaker 1: See a yeah, and number one for the third year running.
- 39:20Speaker 1: Is Noah.
- 39:21Speaker 2: Are you kidding me?
- 39:22Speaker 3: No?
- 39:23Speaker 1: One is the most popular name.
- 39:24Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 39:25Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 39:25Speaker 3: And then you've got the top girls names of twenty
- 39:27Speaker 3: twenty five. Number three Amelia, great name, my partner's name, Millie. Yeah,
- 39:32Speaker 3: well yeah, exactly another I e yeah. Number two Charlotte.
- 39:36Speaker 2: Charlotte, great name, my nana's name. I wanted to call
- 39:39Speaker 2: if we're to go, I want to call a Charlotte,
- 39:40Speaker 2: But my sister in law's called Charlotte.
- 39:43Speaker 1: So we can't.
- 39:44Speaker 2: Still, That's what I keep saying.
- 39:45Speaker 3: We're still can And number one Island, which I quite like.
- 39:48Speaker 3: I think that's quite.
- 39:49Speaker 2: Classyilo is quite a nice name as well. Yeah, but
- 39:52Speaker 2: the thing is pugs. I mean, these names are all great. Yeah,
- 39:55Speaker 2: that's fine.
- 39:56Speaker 1: Sure, what happened to naming your kids something seld to
- 39:59Speaker 1: the earth? Like?
- 40:00Speaker 2: The problem is there are certain names that you can't
- 40:03Speaker 2: picture on a baby.
- 40:05Speaker 3: No, Hank, You're really you're making an investment into that
- 40:10Speaker 3: baby so that they're going to grow into their name
- 40:12Speaker 3: rather than something that fits them their entire life. But
- 40:15Speaker 3: but does Ollie is Ollie? Little baby OLLI I think
- 40:19Speaker 3: you'll find the name is Oliver. Oliver fine, and then
- 40:22Speaker 3: you might say Oli e time for dinner.
- 40:24Speaker 1: Ollie, time for dinner.
- 40:25Speaker 2: But yeah, but that like that very much suits a
- 40:28Speaker 2: baby and a kid, yes, and then it needs to
- 40:30Speaker 2: then at some point turn into like a bloke.
- 40:33Speaker 3: I was trying to lowball a guy on Facebook marketplace
- 40:35Speaker 3: two days ago for a bag and his name was Gilbert.
- 40:38Speaker 1: You're getting a bag with.
- 40:41Speaker 3: A bag satchel oh sat, Yeah, his name was Gilbert's
- 40:45Speaker 3: name was Gilbert, And my partner said, oh, I think
- 40:50Speaker 3: that's such a cute name we need to bring back.
- 40:52Speaker 3: And I'm like, have you ever looked at a baby
- 40:53Speaker 3: it's freshly out of the womb and gone Gilbert?
- 40:56Speaker 1: Have you ever looked at a baby that's freshly out
- 40:58Speaker 1: of the womb? Because I yeah, but if I did,
- 41:03Speaker 1: I wouldn't be thinking Gilbert.
- 41:04Speaker 2: Yeah, so like Hank, Gilbert, Nige, Robert Nigel, see Rob Graham, Robbie, No,
- 41:10Speaker 2: Graham was one. I can't beture a baby Graham, thank you,
- 41:14Speaker 2: Murray Murray ut. But just names like that, then you know,
- 41:21Speaker 2: I really missed that. Gertrude Beatrice barely, Gareth Gareth Nah.
- 41:28Speaker 2: I went to score a lot of little gareths.
- 41:30Speaker 1: Yeah, but not when they were babies.
- 41:32Speaker 2: Yeah, I went to baby school, POGs.
- 41:34Speaker 1: I needed it.
- 41:36Speaker 2: But look, maybe you've got a baby with a proper
- 41:39Speaker 2: old school name. If so, text us on three four
- 41:42Speaker 2: eight three let us know. I'll be interested to know,
- 41:44Speaker 2: or if.
- 41:44Speaker 3: There's other old school style names that just simply do
- 41:46Speaker 3: not suit a tiny, innocent face of a freshly born baby.
- 41:49Speaker 2: KEIV three four eighths three. Get those ticks coming through.
- 41:53Speaker 2: We've got fifty dollars rebig avouchers to give.
- 41:54Speaker 4: Away the whole Ichy Big Show week days from four
- 41:58Speaker 4: on Radio.
- 41:59Speaker 2: Hold I k on the Hidarky Breakfast Show. It is
- 42:01Speaker 2: Monday morning with keys In pug Son almost nine am, Pugs.
- 42:05Speaker 1: Yes, sorry man, it is almost nine am.
- 42:07Speaker 2: Now.
- 42:07Speaker 3: It's for confirming that I've got a brand new segment
- 42:10Speaker 3: that I'm going to be doing all week because Mike
- 42:12Speaker 3: Minogue taught me that nobody ever wants to hear about
- 42:15Speaker 3: what went so great on your holiday, all right, they
- 42:18Speaker 3: want to hear what went wrong?
- 42:19Speaker 1: Now, don't get me wrong, before I get into any
- 42:21Speaker 1: of this, had a beautiful holiday, right, Okay.
- 42:24Speaker 3: I did the pugsun five hundred, which is where I
- 42:26Speaker 3: drive from Tamaki down to Wellington to see Mafano, then
- 42:29Speaker 3: up to hawks Bathing, back up to Auckland. Then I
- 42:31Speaker 3: went to a festival in Madakana. Nobody cares about that.
- 42:33Speaker 3: They want to hear what went wrong. So this is
- 42:35Speaker 3: pug Son's holiday misadventures.
- 42:41Speaker 1: You've missed that music.
- 42:42Speaker 2: Eh, that's the music we play where we haven't made
- 42:45Speaker 2: a sting and we're pretending that we've got a new segment.
- 42:49Speaker 1: Well, I listen, new segment.
- 42:51Speaker 2: I was lucky too, because I was about to go
- 42:52Speaker 2: all right, well it's a new segment. You've called it
- 42:53Speaker 2: a segment. Let's hear the sting. The sting, by the way,
- 42:56Speaker 2: is a little like audio thing that says pug Soun's misadventures.
- 43:00Speaker 1: That's right, that's what. That's what we just heard. Yeah, okay,
- 43:03Speaker 1: with brand new music.
- 43:04Speaker 2: I love it, Pugs.
- 43:05Speaker 1: All right.
- 43:05Speaker 3: So this is the first day after work finished right
- 43:09Speaker 3: at Hodaki for twenty twenty five. I'm elated, I'm fizzing,
- 43:13Speaker 3: and I'm getting road trip ready because I got to
- 43:15Speaker 3: drive to Wellington to see my family.
- 43:18Speaker 1: Seven hour drive.
- 43:18Speaker 3: Awkward, yeah, seven hour drive. And I don't mind the
- 43:21Speaker 3: long drives these days, I'm used to it. I kind
- 43:23Speaker 3: of just autopilot drive safely obviously, but listen to stuff
- 43:26Speaker 3: ketch up on albums whatever.
- 43:28Speaker 1: So I'm getting ready.
- 43:29Speaker 3: And the responsible thing that my dad always taught me
- 43:31Speaker 3: and my mother was whenever you're going on a long trip,
- 43:33Speaker 3: you check your oil, top up your tires, yep, and
- 43:37Speaker 3: you what's the other one? You water, you cool it
- 43:39Speaker 3: or whatever. Right now, I needed to sort my tires out.
- 43:43Speaker 3: I texted you gave me some advice on the PSI
- 43:45Speaker 3: level that I was going for on a car. I
- 43:47Speaker 3: was texting you at this time. So I go to
- 43:49Speaker 3: a service station to top up my tires and the
- 43:51Speaker 3: first I park up at the tire thing and as
- 43:54Speaker 3: soon as I take the first cap of the first tie,
- 43:56Speaker 3: it falls into a storm drain.
- 43:58Speaker 2: Oh wow, literally not which is not so it's going
- 44:00Speaker 2: out to the ocean. Yeah, so dolphin's going to choke
- 44:02Speaker 2: on that. Not a good one, Pugs.
- 44:05Speaker 3: It is not massively problematic in itself, right, I can
- 44:08Speaker 3: live without that. You can live without those caps, but
- 44:10Speaker 3: it does let it getting your line valve there. And
- 44:14Speaker 3: so I think, you know what, I'm sick of this.
- 44:16Speaker 3: I'm going to get it out of a storm drain.
- 44:18Speaker 3: I can see what are you sick of do you
- 44:20Speaker 3: always do this? I'm at that moment. I was sick
- 44:23Speaker 3: of it being down there anyway, So I have to.
- 44:25Speaker 3: I lift the storm drain great out of the storm drain,
- 44:29Speaker 3: and I didn't realize how heavy they were, so I got.
- 44:32Speaker 1: To I got to lift and pull.
- 44:34Speaker 3: I do like a slavic squad and I got a
- 44:36Speaker 3: lift and pull and as soon as I pull it,
- 44:38Speaker 3: the other end falls into the storm train. And so
- 44:41Speaker 3: my hands go into the storm drain. And this is
- 44:43Speaker 3: on cutting a harpy road at a gas station, so
- 44:46Speaker 3: it's feral.
- 44:47Speaker 1: Is that mobile?
- 44:50Speaker 3: My god?
- 44:50Speaker 1: Yeah? Roast yeah. So my hand's I'm going to gag
- 44:53Speaker 1: thinking about it.
- 44:54Speaker 3: My hands go into the storm drain, skin my hand,
- 44:57Speaker 3: the palm of my hand, so it's open.
- 45:00Speaker 1: I've got an open wound in the.
- 45:01Speaker 3: Storm drain on K Road. And then I'm sitting there
- 45:04Speaker 3: on the squat on the corner of the road where
- 45:05Speaker 3: it's like peak hord traffic.
- 45:06Speaker 1: Everybody's looking like I know, everybody can see me doing
- 45:08Speaker 1: the squat over the storm drain.
- 45:10Speaker 3: Lift it out with all of my might, tell all
- 45:13Speaker 3: the way back, get it out, and what comes out
- 45:15Speaker 3: with it?
- 45:15Speaker 1: The fuel cap?
- 45:18Speaker 3: Why I get it out of the storm drain. Sorry,
- 45:21Speaker 3: the valve cap caught on. Oh wow, so it came out.
- 45:24Speaker 3: But then I have to get the storm drained back
- 45:26Speaker 3: in and when I put the storm drain, great back
- 45:28Speaker 3: on the storm drain, it goes back in the water
- 45:30Speaker 3: and I lose it.
- 45:31Speaker 1: What the valve cap?
- 45:32Speaker 2: Yeah, so did you hit?
- 45:34Speaker 1: Do you have it now or no? It's gone? And
- 45:36Speaker 1: I just skinned my hand and got disease from the
- 45:40Speaker 1: one of the worst roads.
- 45:42Speaker 3: I'm pretty sure I've got sepsis. There was like a
- 45:44Speaker 3: there was like an old surgical glove in there.
- 45:46Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 45:47Speaker 2: Yeah, needles, all sorts. Pugs.
- 45:48Speaker 1: So there's Pugs on holiday Missevention number one. We'll have
- 45:51Speaker 1: another one for you tomorrow. Okay, wait for chapter two. Man,
- 45:53Speaker 1: Well we're going to the Active Monkeys here.
- 45:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 45:56Speaker 4: Man, the whole aking big show with Mike and Keys.
- 46:00Speaker 4: Tune in weekdays afore on radio.
- 46:02Speaker 2: Hold Ike spoon Man, Sound Guarden on the Hodocky break
- 46:05Speaker 2: for show, Kizy and Pugs done with you on a
- 46:07Speaker 2: Monday morning, This says no Ed still smokeo. Brought to
- 46:09Speaker 2: you by Max Raft and fun Fact. Today is my
- 46:12Speaker 2: first day back at work. Pugs your lazy bones.
- 46:14Speaker 3: I started on Friday, and my partner actually started the
- 46:17Speaker 3: day before, but she succumbed to Tuesday. Usually yeah, but
- 46:23Speaker 3: she succumbed to something that we've all experienced, but not
- 46:27Speaker 3: since we were children. And I want to know if
- 46:29Speaker 3: you ever did the same thing. She put her pants cheap.
- 46:36Speaker 1: At work, nervous for the new year.
- 46:41Speaker 3: No, she just share herself. Damn man, it happens to well,
- 46:44Speaker 3: not me, but no, it happens to her a lot. No, no, no,
- 46:47Speaker 3: that's not what happened at all. We were getting I
- 46:49Speaker 3: was helping her get ready for work and you know,
- 46:51Speaker 3: packing lunches and things like that, et cetera. And she
- 46:55Speaker 3: grabs her bag, she's a work bag that she uses
- 46:57Speaker 3: every single day, and takes it off the whole and
- 47:00Speaker 3: then as she takes it off, the hooks the hooks.
- 47:03Speaker 3: Two hooks I've got, I've got like coat hooks, bad
- 47:05Speaker 3: cooks by my front door. It's really not the story.
- 47:09Speaker 3: It is a large bags. It's an oversized tote bag.
- 47:12Speaker 3: She puts in bloody Pillarate's gear in there, and et cetera,
- 47:15Speaker 3: et cetera. It's not pertinent to the story. Chris I've
- 47:17Speaker 3: seen it with it, Chris, it's a huge bag, Parks.
- 47:22Speaker 1: I'm just saying you. Missus has a massive bag, all right.
- 47:24Speaker 1: It's like wagon and fight up. You will not see
- 47:27Speaker 1: her without a huge bag in her hand. Poopy pants, sorry, takes.
- 47:34Speaker 3: It off, the bag cocks and there and what then
- 47:38Speaker 3: ensues as a flurry of flies.
- 47:42Speaker 1: Ah, she left a lunch in there from the last
- 47:44Speaker 1: hour of school. Was that it.
- 47:46Speaker 3: She took the bag and emptied it out onto our balcony,
- 47:50Speaker 3: out on the concrete balcony there and out fell, if
- 47:54Speaker 3: I recall correctly, like some biscuits, A small jar of
- 47:58Speaker 3: peanut butter and a banana the first day of school.
- 48:03Speaker 3: Banana in the backpack scenario.
- 48:05Speaker 1: We've all been there. I've been there, this banana. Forgive me.
- 48:09Speaker 1: Hopefully you've already had breakfast. Cove to maggots.
- 48:11Speaker 3: Oh my god, outwalks the biggest cockroach I've ever seen
- 48:15Speaker 3: in my life. Just waltz is on out of there,
- 48:19Speaker 3: strutted stuff, making footsteps.
- 48:21Speaker 1: It was so large. And then now just fruit fly city.
- 48:24Speaker 1: We've never had flies in our apartment once.
- 48:27Speaker 3: This banana was she disturbed, the banana and the giant
- 48:30Speaker 3: bag and now we've got flies.
- 48:33Speaker 1: That is rank. Yeah, it was really rank. But we've
- 48:35Speaker 1: you know, I've even done that since school.
- 48:38Speaker 3: I remember I had the exact same yarn and I
- 48:39Speaker 3: opened my school bag and I literally vomited because it
- 48:42Speaker 3: was so fas vomited, one hundred percent vomited. I've got
- 48:45Speaker 3: a very sensitive I'm very sick once I get a
- 48:47Speaker 3: thought in my head about how gross something is.
- 48:49Speaker 1: Half for me to escape.
- 48:50Speaker 2: It was what was in your school bag when you're
- 48:53Speaker 2: a kid.
- 48:53Speaker 1: That it was a banana?
- 48:54Speaker 3: Just it was a banana, just like dead sour mashed,
- 48:57Speaker 3: whereas this one, great, thank god, was still intact right,
- 49:01Speaker 3: and so they got to it, but it was not.
- 49:03Speaker 2: It was unopened right, so the structural integrity of the
- 49:05Speaker 2: banana wasn't as the peal was not peeled right.
- 49:08Speaker 1: So what did you do with it?
- 49:09Speaker 2: Is it just still on the belt?
- 49:09Speaker 1: What did I do with it? I just brought it inside,
- 49:12Speaker 1: chucked them in the fruit bowl? What do you reckon?
- 49:14Speaker 2: Pugs?
- 49:16Speaker 1: Enough of the sas, brother, it's my first day of school,
- 49:18Speaker 1: all right, let's go.
- 49:20Speaker 3: Damn it.
- 49:21Speaker 1: Damn it? Did you throw it over the balcony or
- 49:24Speaker 1: put it in the burns? I wanted to open it
- 49:25Speaker 1: into the neighbor's belt. Yeah, good on your brother over
- 49:28Speaker 1: the air place this peel Jam.
- 49:31Speaker 4: The Hdarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio
- 49:35Speaker 4: hod ACU is.
- 49:35Speaker 2: The Hdarchy brick for show with Kezy and Pugs Aunt
- 49:38Speaker 2: covering all week and it is no Ed still Smoker
- 49:41Speaker 2: as well. And that is a brand new tune, I believe,
- 49:42Speaker 2: Pugs from the Phoenix Foundation.
- 49:44Speaker 3: That's a kesy and anti capitalist smash. Have you heard
- 49:47Speaker 3: about the guy that is staying young? He's trying to
- 49:51Speaker 3: stay by putting his son's blood into him.
- 49:53Speaker 1: Is that what he's doing? Yeah, sex stuff. So that
- 49:56Speaker 1: was like one of the references for the song.
- 49:57Speaker 3: Anyway, if you want to read about the new tune
- 49:59Speaker 3: from the Phoenix Foundation, you can find out more at
- 50:01Speaker 3: the locals only page at hodaki dot co dot inzt
- 50:04Speaker 3: and you can give it a red.
- 50:05Speaker 1: Listen there as well. What's it called the title of
- 50:07Speaker 1: the track, Vampire Class.
- 50:09Speaker 2: Vampire Class Phoenix Foundation Good Stuff, something that is very
- 50:13Speaker 2: near and dear to my heart, pugsn is the classic
- 50:16Speaker 2: car scene I grew up going to. You know, I
- 50:20Speaker 2: grew up pretty much on the side of the drag strip.
- 50:23Speaker 2: My dad and my brother are big drag races classic cars.
- 50:26Speaker 2: Grew up going to the beach Hop, going with swap
- 50:28Speaker 2: meets and stuff all around New Zealand, my dad wheeling
- 50:31Speaker 2: and dealing and various old stuff to do with old
- 50:33Speaker 2: Chevs and Dodgers and blah blah blah. This week in
- 50:36Speaker 2: up in Auckland is the Kumiu Classic Cars and hot
- 50:38Speaker 2: Rod Festival.
- 50:40Speaker 1: There are two there were.
- 50:41Speaker 2: There were two events when I was growing up that
- 50:43Speaker 2: my family circled an entire weekend and it was a
- 50:45Speaker 2: huge deal. One was the Beach Hop and Funka Matar,
- 50:48Speaker 2: which we don't go to anymore. But the Kumu Classic
- 50:50Speaker 2: Car and hot Rod Festival was a huge one because
- 50:52Speaker 2: it was a sort of part swap meet, part car show.
- 50:56Speaker 2: But then they'd have all sorts of other crazy stuff
- 50:58Speaker 2: going on there. There'd be bands and things going on too.
- 51:00Speaker 2: We used to My dad would buy a couple of sites,
- 51:03Speaker 2: drive the motor home up there. We'd spend the entire
- 51:06Speaker 2: weekend there, three four days he'd sat. I remember going
- 51:09Speaker 2: up there and mom and Dad had about three old
- 51:11Speaker 2: cars that they brought in from the States for sale
- 51:13Speaker 2: and old and parlor.
- 51:14Speaker 1: They brought them in.
- 51:15Speaker 2: Yeah, my dad used to ship and he stopped, you know,
- 51:18Speaker 2: probably five six years ago, but he used to bring
- 51:20Speaker 2: in old American cars, put them on the road in
- 51:22Speaker 2: their original condition, but get them, you know, warranted and
- 51:25Speaker 2: ready to go and then sell them.
- 51:27Speaker 1: Like that sactly.
- 51:28Speaker 2: Originally, Yeah, it was pretty cool to grap around. But
- 51:31Speaker 2: that is happening this very weekend Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
- 51:35Speaker 2: It is the Ripco Kumuu Classic Car and hot Rod Festival.
- 51:37Speaker 2: Even if you are not into the nitty gritty of
- 51:41Speaker 2: classic cars, but you just want something to take the
- 51:44Speaker 2: kids to, or you just want to walk around and
- 51:46Speaker 2: see awesome stuff. Highly highly highly recommend. I've been to

- 53:34Speaker 2: Well, look, let's tackle this tomorrow because I'm actually of
