Hello, this is your PCJ Pop, I'm Olivia,
• 0:10
  and I'm Shauna.
• 0:12
And Shauna, what are you recommending this week?
• 0:15
I am going to recommend a movie that came out in mid-June,
• 0:20
so it is a couple months old at this point,
• 0:22
but it's taking the world by storm,
• 0:23
  and I think everybody should,
• 0:24
to have a chance to watch this movie.
• 0:26
It is called "K-Pop Demon Hunters."
• 0:29
It has became my personality since I watched this movie.
• 0:34
It is a musical fantasy film produced by Sony.
• 0:38
It is set in Korea, and it stars in all Asian cast.
• 0:43
It is about a girl group of K-Pop singers
• 0:49
called "The Huntricks," who are also demon hunters,
• 0:53
and they have to face off against a demon boy band
• 0:56
called "The Sajja Boys," who are trying to steal the souls
• 1:01
of all of "Hunt Tricks's Fans."
• 1:03
  This movie is visually stunning.
• 1:05
It is the same animators who made the "Spider-Man:
• 1:09
  into the Spider-Verse" movies,
• 1:11
so it's really colorful and eye-catching.
• 1:14
All of the costumes are insane, and the music is,
• 1:19
  honestly, out of this world.
• 1:20
This movie, the music in this movie, has already topped,
• 1:24
  like, multiple actual music charts.
• 1:28
I think "Hunt Tricks" is the top performing girl group
• 1:32
or "Sajja Boys" is the top performing boy K-Pop group right now,
• 1:37
and they're not even real bands.
• 1:40
  We love an iconic soundtrack.
• 1:42
  Oh my God, yes.
• 1:43
But the actual singers from this are musicians,
• 1:47
and are in other K-Pop bands.
• 1:49
  I think there's a band called "Twice,"
• 1:51
and it's a K-Pop band that a lot of the "Hunt Tricks" members are from,
• 1:57
  and beautiful singers, just incredible.
• 2:00
So don't look at this movie on your Netflix and say,
• 2:04
"That looks like a kid's movie.
• 2:05
  That's a cartoon.
• 2:06
I'm not going to watch it, because I don't have any kids."
• 2:08
And I have been singing "The Soda Pop" so...
• 2:12
I've been singing the entire soundtrack nonstop, so...
• 2:15
I'll leave you a please watch.
• 2:17
K-Pop demon hunters, it'll make you so happy.
• 2:20
  Oh, watch it.
• 2:21
Manly Kizzi said it was giving "Josie and the Pussycats"
• 2:24
  - Yes! - With the soundtrack, so I mean...
• 2:27
  I mean...
• 2:28
So my pop for the week is actually going to also be a Netflix movie documentary,
• 2:37
  Shocker, I'm going documentary again,
• 2:39
  but it's so funny.
• 2:40
I have talked about it multiple times,
• 2:43
because I really can't get out of my head.
• 2:46
  Have you seen "Poop Cruise?"
• 2:48
  Yes!
• 2:49
Yes! Oh, like, we watched it on a family vacation.
• 2:54
With my niece and nephew there, and we're like, "Buddy, look!"
• 2:58
  Simply about "Poop!"
• 3:00
  It's truly a nightmare.
• 3:04
So I had been looking at my credit card points,
• 3:09
and I was like, "Oh, what are the experiences I could get?"
• 3:12
And I was like, "Oh, there are some really great cruises."
• 3:15
And then Netflix dropped "Poop Cruise" and Amy Bradley Documentary,
• 3:21
which are both about "Cruises", Carnival Cruises,
• 3:24
  not taking one of those.
• 3:25
  But the poop cruises...
• 3:26
I've been on one of those.
• 3:27
  Yeah, I think it's in 2012,
• 3:30
where the ship gets stranded in the middle of the ocean with no power,
• 3:35
but if you are on a giant cruise ship and there's no power,
• 3:39
then you also don't have working utilities.
• 3:43
And so the sewage system of the cruise ship
• 3:47
floating in the middle of the ocean for multiple days
• 3:50
is just filled with feces and your...
• 3:54
  It is to the brim.
• 3:56
  It is so close.
• 3:57
Over-flow with through the whole way.
• 3:59
  It is.
• 4:00
  It is wild.
• 4:01
Someone at Netflix has massive beef,
• 4:04
but you've got to watch it.
• 4:05
It's like, you know, despite the gross topic,
• 4:08
it really is just like, "Oh damn!"
• 4:11
But it was a great documentary.
• 4:14
Also, Netflix is doing a lot of their series called "Train Rack."
• 4:19
They came out with the American Apparel Train Rack episode as well,
• 4:24
  which was so good.
• 4:26
So I'm going to pop poop cruise
• 4:28
and all of the other train wreck episodes because they are amazing.
• 4:34
  Oh my God, that's amazing.
• 4:35
  So on Netflix, we are...
• 4:38
  sponsor us.
• 4:39
We are popping "K-Pop Demon Hunters" and "Trainwreck: Poop Cruise."
• 4:44
And that's it for your PCJ Pop.
• 4:47
