Shaykh Yasir Qadhi discusses the events happening in the Conquest of Mecca and many highlights are seen. The Prophet ﷺ divided the entire Muslim army into three major contingents which were Ansaris, Muhajiroun and a mixture of the two. Sa'd ibn Ubadah was heading the Ansar and Khalid ibn Waleed was heading the Muhajiroun and the middle army was being led by Abd Ubaidah Amr ibn Jarrah.
