- 0:02Speaker 1: Two Teas in a Pod with Teddy Mellencamp and Tamara Judge.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Hey, guys. Welcome back to another episode of Two Teas
- 0:11Speaker 2: in a Pod with myself and Teddy Mellencamp. Teddy. Hi, Tam. Hi.
- 0:16Speaker 2: This ain't Bravo that we're going to be recapping today. No, no.
- 0:20Speaker 2: This definitely ain't Bravo. This ain't Bravo.
- 0:23Speaker 3: This is a lot. We're going to be talking about
- 0:27Speaker 3: secret lives of Mormon wives and... doing episode one through three.
- 0:32Speaker 2: Yes, because as you guys know, like five episodes dropped
- 0:35Speaker 2: and it's kind of hard to recap like streaming like this.
- 0:39Speaker 2: It was a doozy. The first three episodes. It was
- 0:43Speaker 2: such like Jerry Springer. Yeah.
- 0:48Speaker 3: I mean, the fact that this I mean, they are
- 0:50Speaker 3: so messy.
- 0:54Speaker 2: It's unbelievable.
- 0:55Speaker 3: But before we even get into recapping, Michaela leaving the show.
- 1:00Speaker 3: I know. I know.
- 1:01Speaker 2: It's so sad.
- 1:02Speaker 3: On her Instagram, she said, I made the decision over
- 1:05Speaker 3: a week ago after hearing some news that I will
- 1:07Speaker 3: not be continuing the show after this moment, adding I'm
- 1:10Speaker 3: not comfortable being part of something that continues to platform
- 1:14Speaker 3: behavior I don't agree with. And for me and personally
- 1:17Speaker 3: continuing to directly profit from this behavior feels wrong and unethical.
- 1:21Speaker 3: This shouldn't be relatable or entertaining in any way. It's
- 1:24Speaker 3: enabling for years, and I'm not going to be a
- 1:26Speaker 3: part of that again.
- 1:27Speaker 2: So do you think that she was potentially let go?
- 1:30Speaker 2: Or do you think that she, because they already have
- 1:33Speaker 2: another season banked, right? Yeah. I don't know.
- 1:35Speaker 3: I don't think she, I don't think she was potentially
- 1:37Speaker 3: let go. I think she's done with Taylor Frankie Paul.
- 1:42Speaker 2: And they'll just keep bringing that train wreck back. Yeah.
- 1:44Speaker 3: They're not going to. And I think that them keeping
- 1:48Speaker 3: Taylor on was enough to push Michaela over the edge. Like,
- 1:51Speaker 3: she's like, I just can't do this anymore.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Yeah. Because you could tell it really was starting to
- 1:56Speaker 2: weigh on her. Well, you can see crumbling in this cast.
- 1:59Speaker 2: And I was talking to Caden. I go, I don't
- 2:00Speaker 2: think the show's going to be around much longer. He's like, oh, yes,
- 2:02Speaker 2: it will. It's highly rated. And I'm like, it just
- 2:05Speaker 2: seems like the cast is crumbling. Divorces are happening. People
- 2:08Speaker 2: are leaving. People like Whitney are becoming, she's so talented.
- 2:12Speaker 2: She's becoming so famous that she's going to go on
- 2:14Speaker 2: to do other things. So I don't know. I guess
- 2:17Speaker 2: they've already ordered 20 episodes.
- 2:21Speaker 3: Yeah, 20 more episodes.
- 2:23Speaker 2: But don't you think it needs a little refresh?
- 2:26Speaker 3: I don't know that I think it needs a refresh.
- 2:28Speaker 2: Okay.
- 2:29Speaker 3: Like, I enjoy it. I also, it makes me incredibly
- 2:35Speaker 3: uncomfortable the entire time I'm watching it.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, let's get right into it. So this is
- 2:41Speaker 2: one through three, guys. The season premiere opens with the
- 2:43Speaker 2: girls talking about Taylor Frankie Paul domestic violence allegations. Now,
- 2:47Speaker 2: the girls say in their confessionals there's way more than
- 2:51Speaker 2: what the public actually knows. They flash to tons of
- 2:54Speaker 2: content creators reporting on a DV and The Bachelorette being canceled.
- 3:00Speaker 2: You know what's funny about these reality shows?
- 3:04Speaker 3: What?
- 3:04Speaker 2: Bravo including. They talk about, don't talk to bloggers, don't
- 3:08Speaker 2: talk to bloggers, but they're actually employing bloggers at this point. Yeah.
- 3:12Speaker 3: At this point, they're just like letting that money roll.
- 3:15Speaker 2: Yeah. I think the hard part.
- 3:17Speaker 3: For me to wrap my head around in regards to
- 3:18Speaker 3: this show is that we know that we're a season behind.
- 3:23Speaker 2: Yeah. Like, they've already done an entire season since. Like,
- 3:28Speaker 2: six is already filmed. Yeah, that's crazy. I think the
- 3:32Speaker 2: problem for me this season, like, everything was leaked. Yeah.
- 3:36Speaker 2: Everything was leaked. So we know all this stuff. And
- 3:39Speaker 2: then I keep thinking as she's talking about The Bachelorette,
- 3:42Speaker 2: and I'm like, why are you exposing this? And I remember, oh, shit,
- 3:45Speaker 2: because this was like over a year ago. And they
- 3:48Speaker 2: held on to this. Yeah.
- 3:49Speaker 3: Yeah. I know, but there's still a lot that we
- 3:52Speaker 3: had to learn. I was like, oh my gosh. So
- 3:55Speaker 3: it starts with January 6th. Taylor returns from filming The Bachelorette.
- 3:59Speaker 3: This is five weeks until production pause. Macy, Michaela, and
- 4:04Speaker 3: Jesse met Taylor's top three guys. They hoped she wouldn't
- 4:08Speaker 3: choose Doug. Of course she's going to choose the one
- 4:11Speaker 3: person that nobody else would want her to pick.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Did you catch on that Taylor unfollowed most of her cast? Yeah,
- 4:18Speaker 2: I did.
- 4:19Speaker 3: I saw that.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Like, that's crazy.
- 4:21Speaker 3: It's crazy.
- 4:23Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, all the girls are thriving. They have books.
- 4:26Speaker 3: They have movies.
- 4:27Speaker 2: They have Broadway. Everyone's getting plastic surgery. Jen got her
- 4:31Speaker 2: boobs done. Jessie got her eyes done. Layla got her
- 4:34Speaker 2: boobs look uncomfortable. They look painful. They're in her throat. Yeah.
- 4:38Speaker 2: She's like, I'm like, what are you doing, girl?
- 4:43Speaker 3: In her confessional, Taylor, when she reveals that she's engaged
- 4:47Speaker 3: to Doug, and we already know what's happened. We already
- 4:49Speaker 3: know that shit's hit the fan. Like, Taylor picking the
- 4:53Speaker 3: guy with the most red flags is very on point
- 4:56Speaker 3: for Taylor.
- 4:57Speaker 2: Right, right. But then when we hear them talk on
- 5:00Speaker 2: the— or when she's talking about him or the things she
- 5:03Speaker 2: says about him, it doesn't sound like he's into her.
- 5:06Speaker 2: And she doesn't seem like she's into him either.
- 5:08Speaker 3: No, no.
- 5:10Speaker 2: So why'd they even pick each other?
- 5:11Speaker 3: I mean, we have to also remember she had sex
- 5:13Speaker 3: with Dakota the day before she left and the day
- 5:16Speaker 3: she got back.
- 5:17Speaker 2: And she says, claims she's in love with Ben. In love.
- 5:23Speaker 3: Poor Ben.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Is that the guy that she just let go?
- 5:26Speaker 3: Yeah. Well, Miranda tells Layla that Chase's DUI is now
- 5:31Speaker 3: public information. She's worried how this will affect her children.
- 5:35Speaker 3: Layla uses this lunch to give Miranda some other bad news.
- 5:38Speaker 3: Shania hooked up with Chase while she was living with
- 5:41Speaker 3: Miranda Renfrew.
- 5:43Speaker 2: Shania is nasty. Piece of shit. Like a friend coming
- 5:47Speaker 2: into your house and hooking up with your husband?
- 5:52Speaker 3: Like, ugh.
- 5:54Speaker 2: She's dead to me, too. Yeah. Like, I don't need
- 5:56Speaker 2: to ever hear Shania again.
- 5:58Speaker 3: No. I don't need to see her.
- 5:59Speaker 2: I don't want to.
- 6:00Speaker 3: I mean, I'm glad we didn't see her this season.
- 6:03Speaker 3: I don't know. And then we get kind of a
- 6:05Speaker 3: little bit of like Chase. We see how like Miranda
- 6:09Speaker 3: is constantly protecting Chase. Mm-hmm. Even though Chase pretty much
- 6:14Speaker 3: treats her like dog shit.
- 6:16Speaker 2: Well, I think Miranda is one of the most just
- 6:22Speaker 2: down-to-earth good girl on that show. Yeah. She really is.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Like she puts up with a lot of shit, and
- 6:29Speaker 2: I think she does it just because she wants to
- 6:31Speaker 2: co-parent with this guy. But he's a douche lord.
- 6:36Speaker 3: He's such a douche lord. If you follow him on Instagram,
- 6:40Speaker 3: it's unreal. And he's been posting so many things with Marciano.
- 6:47Speaker 2: Really? Yes. And it just gives me the ick like
- 6:51Speaker 2: no other. Yeah.
- 6:55Speaker 3: But Taylor invited Dakota over to her house the same
- 6:58Speaker 3: night she got home from The Bachelorette.
- 7:03Speaker 2: I mean, in her confessional, Taylor Toast production, she slept
- 7:05Speaker 2: with Dakota while being engaged to Doug. In shocking news,
- 7:11Speaker 2: Dakota also has a girlfriend, Teddy.
- 7:15Speaker 3: There's nothing that they can do to shock me at
- 7:18Speaker 3: this point.
- 7:18Speaker 2: I mean, what the actual Jerry Springer is going on here,
- 7:21Speaker 2: she's comparing Dakota to an addiction. These two thrive off
- 7:25Speaker 2: of dysfunction. I say get married and just live your
- 7:30Speaker 2: life best. Doing the shit you guys do to each other.
- 7:33Speaker 3: I can't because there's so many videos now. There's another
- 7:37Speaker 3: video leak. Did you see it? No.
- 7:40Speaker 2: From Dakota's roommate.
- 7:42Speaker 3: His name's Crew, who now Taylor Frankie Paul's gotten another
- 7:46Speaker 3: restraining order against Crew.
- 7:49Speaker 2: She'll start dating Crew soon. I mean, here is Taylor.
- 7:56Speaker 2: She's engaged, screwing her old baby daddy, who at the
- 8:01Speaker 2: last reunion, they wouldn't even look at each other.
- 8:03Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:04Speaker 2: She's in love with a guy named Ben, and she
- 8:05Speaker 2: has the balls to sit there and go, did you
- 8:07Speaker 2: fuck her? Did you fuck her? Did you fuck her?
- 8:09Speaker 2: And I'm like, shut up. Shut up.
- 8:13Speaker 3: She just can't stop. She can't stop herself. And I
- 8:18Speaker 3: understand that Dakota is obviously toxic, and he's.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Revving her up, and he gets.
- 8:26Speaker 2: Gets her to that spot.
- 8:28Speaker 3: But I also don't understand how she can even, with
- 8:31Speaker 3: a straight face, tell us that she's not in love
- 8:34Speaker 3: with Dakota, that she's in love with Ben.
- 8:36Speaker 2: Who she doesn't really know that well, by the way.
- 8:42Speaker 3: Who... I don't know that Ben's that into her either,
- 8:47Speaker 3: even though it seems like.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Oh, the way he rolled his eyes in the bathtub, like, oh, God,
- 8:50Speaker 2: I got myself a feral one.
- 8:52Speaker 3: I got myself a real toxic one.
- 8:56Speaker 2: Now, Michaela, you see the red spots. You see her
- 9:00Speaker 2: itching her skin. She talks about her health. She's now
- 9:04Speaker 2: going to a dispensary to get THC, and it has
- 9:08Speaker 2: helped her. And I'm like, hey, girl, I'll send you
- 9:10Speaker 2: some Vena.
- 9:11Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah. I know, but I thought that was a
- 9:15Speaker 3: good scene because they were talking, she was, she kind
- 9:17Speaker 3: of made me laugh about the Mormon thing.
- 9:19Speaker 2: She was like, Mormons were also.
- 9:21Speaker 3: Against soda and now look at us. Yeah.
- 9:25Speaker 2: They, they sell it at the college there. Is that
- 9:28Speaker 2: what she was saying? Yeah.
- 9:31Speaker 3: So I think that, you know, she clearly, I'm glad
- 9:35Speaker 3: to see that her and her husband are doing better.
- 9:38Speaker 2: So who split up now at this point? Jesse and
- 9:43Speaker 2: her husband, right? Jesse at this point is still- No, no.
- 9:47Speaker 2: I mean now in real life. Currently. Currently now in
- 9:50Speaker 2: real life.
- 9:50Speaker 3: Jesse split up from her husband. Is Jen pregnant again?
- 9:59Speaker 3: She's a hard one for me to handle.
- 10:02Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:03Speaker 3: She's a hard one for me to handle. Layla's broken
- 10:05Speaker 3: up with Chase's brother.
- 10:07Speaker 2: Thank God.
- 10:08Speaker 3: Michaela, I remember hearing that she was taking a break
- 10:13Speaker 3: from her.
- 10:15Speaker 2: Husband, but I don't know that they actually split. She
- 10:20Speaker 2: just split from the show. No, but for a.
- 10:23Speaker 3: While she, yeah, but for a while she actually split
- 10:28Speaker 3: from him. They took a break.
- 10:32Speaker 2: I'm Kate Hudson. And I'm Oliver Hudson. And Sibling Revelry
- 10:36Speaker 2: is back. Join us for... Deeply personal. Filter-free.
- 10:41Speaker 3: Filter-free.
- 10:42Speaker 2: It's unhinged, slightly. Slightly unhinged. Well, it can get very unhinged.
- 10:46Speaker 2: Very unhinged conversations about family and siblings.
- 10:49Speaker 3: And life and love.
- 10:51Speaker 2: And all the things that bring people purpose. And now
- 10:54Speaker 2: you can watch us on Netflix. So listen to Sibling
- 10:57Speaker 2: Revelry on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you
- 11:01Speaker 2: get your podcasts. While moving into their new rental, Jen
- 11:07Speaker 2: tells Zach that her dream, like her dream, is to
- 11:11Speaker 2: be on the cover of Sports Illustrated. Zach wasn't thrilled.
- 11:13Speaker 2: And then he's like, topless? I'm like, isn't Sports Illustrated
- 11:18Speaker 2: like bikinis?
- 11:20Speaker 3: Yeah, but Sports Illustrated is bikinis. But Zach did a post.
- 11:24Speaker 3: The fact that I saw this, like, really makes me
- 11:28Speaker 3: worry about myself. But Zach cleared something up. He said, listen.
- 11:33Speaker 3: They cropped out what I actually said. We weren't talking
- 11:37Speaker 3: about if she could be on Sports Illustrated. We were
- 11:40Speaker 3: talking about if she was an actress making out with
- 11:42Speaker 3: other people.
- 11:43Speaker 2: Oh.
- 11:44Speaker 3: Like sex scenes.
- 11:45Speaker 2: Oh, editing at its finest.
- 11:48Speaker 3: So it was like that's what he was actually saying
- 11:50Speaker 3: no about. He wasn't saying no, she can't be on
- 11:52Speaker 3: Sports Illustrated. And the fact that I'm having Zach's back
- 11:55Speaker 3: right now really shows the level of people that were.
- 11:59Speaker 2: Do you know that Zach doesn't bug me anymore? Zach
- 12:02Speaker 2: doesn't really bug me either. And I think they both
- 12:04Speaker 2: had a little bit of a glow up.
- 12:07Speaker 3: Well, remember Zach, didn't he have like a, what was
- 12:10Speaker 3: his hair situation?
- 12:11Speaker 2: Didn't he have a long bob?
- 12:14Speaker 3: He had a bob and it was like curly. And
- 12:17Speaker 3: then he was like a real dick to Jen. But
- 12:21Speaker 3: I also, this is the part I, I mean, there's
- 12:24Speaker 3: just so many things. I mean, did you hear that
- 12:27Speaker 3: Layla's into women now?
- 12:29Speaker 2: Yes, I've seen that. I think the best thing for
- 12:31Speaker 2: her is just like work on herself for a little while. Yeah.
- 12:35Speaker 2: And then figure it out.
- 12:36Speaker 3: They very rarely show, they never have shown her ex-husband. No,
- 12:42Speaker 3: they've never shown her ex. We've only seen her kids
- 12:46Speaker 3: one time at that play park.
- 12:49Speaker 2: That's right. But evidently she's got a lot of money.
- 12:52Speaker 2: She's making a lot of money off of this journey
- 12:54Speaker 2: because she's buying that Mason guy like all kinds of presents.
- 12:58Speaker 3: I mean expensive presents.
- 13:01Speaker 2: Yeah. Like Cartier rings. Brightland watch. Trips to all over
- 13:09Speaker 2: the place. And he's like this. He's like brain dead.
- 13:15Speaker 2: Five words. I've heard him say five words.
- 13:20Speaker 3: Got a personality.
- 13:23Speaker 2: Of the rock.
- 13:24Speaker 3: Yeah. I, he, I'm not into him. I, the fact
- 13:27Speaker 3: that I like his brother more than I like him
- 13:29Speaker 3: is a problem.
- 13:30Speaker 2: Well, they're polar opposites, but I think they're the same.
- 13:36Speaker 3: Are they?
- 13:36Speaker 2: I mean, they might have the same morals, but I mean,
- 13:38Speaker 2: personality wise, one just doesn't, one doesn't talk and the
- 13:43Speaker 2: other one doesn't shut the fuck up.
- 13:45Speaker 3: But I think when they're together, they really bring out
- 13:48Speaker 3: the worst in each other. Yeah. Um, Then Jesse, Macy,
- 13:53Speaker 3: and Mikayla meet up with Taylor at a Bachelorette shoot
- 13:56Speaker 3: and find out she's engaged to Doug.
- 13:59Speaker 2: But then in that same moment, we find out that
- 14:03Speaker 2: she slept with Dakota. She just has no problem just
- 14:06Speaker 2: being like, yeah. No, she doesn't even feel bad about it. Uh-uh. No. No.
- 14:12Speaker 2: Not even for one second. She's like, she thinks it's
- 14:14Speaker 2: a game.
- 14:15Speaker 3: She's like laughing about it.
- 14:16Speaker 2: Like, but I already did, you know, with Dakota. But
- 14:20Speaker 2: everyone knew that she was going to run back to Dakota.
- 14:22Speaker 2: They have just a toxic relationship. And like, maybe, like
- 14:27Speaker 2: she said, maybe it's like a drug addiction.
- 14:31Speaker 3: I mean, I'm sure it is like a drug addiction, but,
- 14:33Speaker 3: but still.
- 14:35Speaker 2: Yeah. Why even go on the bachelorette? And you have
- 14:40Speaker 2: to wonder. For the money. That's why she did it.
- 14:42Speaker 2: For fame. Now there's three guys in her life.
- 14:46Speaker 3: Well, Doug isn't even in her life, I don't think.
- 14:49Speaker 3: Doug doesn't even appear on.
- 14:52Speaker 2: Yeah, he was up until then. Until she finished filming.
- 14:57Speaker 2: But I'm sorry. This is one reason why I can't
- 15:01Speaker 2: really get into these dating shows. So you're going to
- 15:04Speaker 2: date somebody on national TV and then you're going to
- 15:06Speaker 2: get engaged to them within six weeks?
- 15:08Speaker 1: Yes.
- 15:08Speaker 3: Yeah, and then you're going to have to not see
- 15:11Speaker 3: them and keep it private.
- 15:12Speaker 2: You shouldn't even get engaged to somebody you meet organically. Like,
- 15:16Speaker 2: you know what I mean? Like, oh, I met this
- 15:17Speaker 2: guy and six weeks later. I mean, it happens. I
- 15:20Speaker 2: know people that were married after a couple weeks, but
- 15:23Speaker 2: you know what? They're spending every minute together. It ended
- 15:27Speaker 2: up in divorce, yeah. Well, not just that.
- 15:29Speaker 3: They're spending– I mean, you've got to think about the
- 15:31Speaker 3: little amount of time that Taylor spent with each one
- 15:34Speaker 3: of these guys.
- 15:35Speaker 2: Yeah. Like– It starts out with whatever it is, 30 guys.
- 15:39Speaker 2: I just can't get behind these kinds of shows. It's
- 15:41Speaker 2: not my thing.
- 15:43Speaker 3: I mean, I used to be obsessed with The Bachelor
- 15:45Speaker 3: and The Bachelorette.
- 15:46Speaker 2: Sometimes it works out, you know, you know, but I
- 15:48Speaker 2: would say it's probably 1%.
- 15:49Speaker 3: Well, I think especially if you go into the show
- 15:54Speaker 3: fully not ready to be in a relationship, like, I
- 15:58Speaker 3: don't know. But also what I don't understand is why
- 16:02Speaker 3: when she's admitting that She's had sex with Dakota once.
- 16:05Speaker 3: She's come back from The Bachelorette. One, like, does she
- 16:08Speaker 3: not think she's breaking some code with The Bachelorette? That's
- 16:11Speaker 3: what her mom said.
- 16:13Speaker 2: Her mom said, do you have an NDA?
- 16:14Speaker 3: Yeah, like, how is The Bachelorette okay with this? How
- 16:18Speaker 3: has she not been fined?
- 16:20Speaker 2: Well, I think it's because they held it for so
- 16:22Speaker 2: long and they canceled the show.
- 16:24Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 16:25Speaker 2: That might be the reason because that's the only thing
- 16:26Speaker 2: I can think of because I kept going, how is
- 16:28Speaker 2: this okay? Then I'm like, well, they canceled the show.
- 16:32Speaker 2: It's been a while.
- 16:33Speaker 3: But even if they hadn't canceled the show, they hadn't
- 16:36Speaker 3: canceled the show when they filmed this season.
- 16:39Speaker 2: Also, there's been talk about airing it.
- 16:43Speaker 3: I know, but I don't think they will.
- 16:44Speaker 2: You don't think they will?
- 16:45Speaker 3: I don't think they will. I mean, I think clearly,
- 16:48Speaker 3: I mean, I think they should just put it on
- 16:50Speaker 3: another network. I don't think that ABC can air The
- 16:53Speaker 3: Bachelor like this. I just can't.
- 16:56Speaker 2: It'll be on YouTube one day.
- 16:57Speaker 3: Yeah, like Secret Lives of Mormon Wives could buy it.
- 17:01Speaker 3: And just bank all the episodes and post them.
- 17:03Speaker 2: I think somebody will buy it. Now, nothing says a
- 17:06Speaker 2: charity event like having Fruity Pebbles in the dunk machine.
- 17:12Speaker 2: I mean, first of all, the subtle dig.
- 17:14Speaker 3: And then, like, Jesse decides to call Chase out for
- 17:18Speaker 3: not having loyalty.
- 17:19Speaker 2: Oh, please. And then Layla jumps in.
- 17:23Speaker 3: And Chase says she's only there because he and Miranda
- 17:25Speaker 3: chose to swing. Not a lie.
- 17:29Speaker 2: Chase really wants a show. He does.
- 17:33Speaker 3: He really wants one.
- 17:34Speaker 2: Well, I mean, he's a good villain on the show.
- 17:37Speaker 2: He is a good villain. And weirdly, this is going
- 17:40Speaker 2: to be bad, I find Chase attractive. Oh, I saw
- 17:43Speaker 2: that from day one. I also thought Dakota was attractive too.
- 17:47Speaker 2: But Chase seems drunk. I mean, drunk. Well, clearly he is.
- 17:52Speaker 3: He's gotten a DUI. Also, I don't think it was
- 17:54Speaker 3: just a DUI. Wasn't it with drugs as well?
- 17:57Speaker 2: I don't remember. I think they said cocaine. But you know,
- 18:01Speaker 2: his ex is like asking him, please don't get too drunk, please.
- 18:04Speaker 2: It's like, oh, we had a couple. I'm like, you
- 18:08Speaker 2: are already, they're talking about your DY and here you
- 18:10Speaker 2: are drunk at a scene. Not a good look.
- 18:12Speaker 3: And you're like belligerent, not making sense. Miranda's so nice
- 18:15Speaker 3: to you. Like the fact, Miranda just like lays on
- 18:18Speaker 3: the sword for him all of the time.
- 18:20Speaker 2: But I had, yeah, I had a guy laughing when
- 18:22Speaker 2: Jesse's like, you have no loyalty. I'm like, Coming from
- 18:25Speaker 2: the girl that cheated on her husband, then talked shit
- 18:29Speaker 2: about this guy, and then dumped her husband and is
- 18:32Speaker 2: now with him.
- 18:33Speaker 3: I mean, the fact that we're having to watch this
- 18:35Speaker 3: season and try and pretend that we don't realize that
- 18:38Speaker 3: Jessie has broken up with her husband.
- 18:40Speaker 2: I know. It's very hard for me. Well, this is
- 18:44Speaker 2: like doing a podcast three months and then banking it
- 18:46Speaker 2: and then airing it later. All that shit's already been
- 18:49Speaker 2: talked about. Like we've already known.
- 18:51Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 18:53Speaker 2: So after Taylor laughs and she's like, yeah, I mean,
- 18:59Speaker 2: I kind of like, you know what happened with Dakota?
- 19:03Speaker 3: Then she's like, but newsflash, guys, I'm actually in love
- 19:08Speaker 3: with someone else.
- 19:10Speaker 2: And you're like, hold on, what? I know.
- 19:14Speaker 3: And then she's like, Ben Lambert, the TikTok fling that
- 19:18Speaker 3: we met last season with the stash.
- 19:22Speaker 2: With the stash. She's nutty.
- 19:25Speaker 3: She's nutty.
- 19:27Speaker 2: But after the whole.
- 19:30Speaker 3: Charity event where they're, you know, throwing people in the
- 19:33Speaker 3: water and Chase is doing the most, the next morning
- 19:36Speaker 3: Miranda confronts Chase about his DUI and hooking up with Shania.
- 19:42Speaker 2: I mean, bless her heart. She's trying so hard to
- 19:46Speaker 2: just kind of keep some normalcy for her children. But
- 19:49Speaker 2: Miranda wants Chase. to be sober, and it ain't going
- 19:51Speaker 2: to happen.
- 19:53Speaker 1: No.
- 19:54Speaker 2: And pretty much, he's just like, oh, sorry about that. Yeah.
- 19:59Speaker 2: It can't happen again. He's like, oh, no, it won't. Yeah, sure. Yeah, like,
- 20:04Speaker 2: she's like, you know, she's living.
- 20:05Speaker 3: The fact that Shania was living at her house rent-free.
- 20:09Speaker 2: I mean....
- 20:11Speaker 3: But I also want to know how Chase doesn't care
- 20:18Speaker 3: that Shania also hooked up with Dakota before.
- 20:22Speaker 2: Like, nobody cares about this crossover of hookups. This Mormon
- 20:26Speaker 2: religion really is wholesome, isn't it? Spocking everybody from the
- 20:34Speaker 2: age of 14. Like, you're just going for it.
- 20:38Speaker 3: Then we transitioned over to New York City where Whitney
- 20:41Speaker 3: and Connor have moved for Whitney's Broadway debut in Chicago.
- 20:45Speaker 2: I found this very interesting.
- 20:46Speaker 3: Me too.
- 20:47Speaker 2: I mean, getting out of Salt Lake City, seeing them
- 20:50Speaker 2: move into an apartment in New York, her son taking
- 20:53Speaker 2: his pants off. It's just, and how exciting for her.
- 20:58Speaker 2: I know. I mean, to walk through Times Square, to
- 21:01Speaker 2: go to work and see herself every day, you know,
- 21:06Speaker 2: on the big jumbotron. I'm like, that's like an aha moment. Like,
- 21:12Speaker 2: I have made it. Yeah.
- 21:14Speaker 3: I mean, I remember we did it for Erica when
- 21:17Speaker 3: Erica was on Chicago. We walked through from like where
- 21:20Speaker 3: she was staying to, and you could see it on
- 21:22Speaker 3: the way. And it was just like, oh my God. Like,
- 21:26Speaker 3: I can't even imagine.
- 21:27Speaker 2: And there's nothing more humbling than saying, welcome to New
- 21:33Speaker 2: York with the brown water coming out of the faucet. Yeah.
- 21:38Speaker 2: They're lucky a rat didn't run by.
- 21:39Speaker 3: They're like, hold on, let's give them a bath. And
- 21:42Speaker 3: then he's like, there's brown chunks in the water.
- 21:45Speaker 2: Do you think Taylor would drink that water too? Well,
- 21:47Speaker 2: she was in New York when she drank the water. No, ma'am. No,
- 21:53Speaker 2: thank you.
- 21:54Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean, little did she know what we had
- 21:56Speaker 3: already seen. But then Miranda goes over to Taylor's house
- 21:59Speaker 3: to catch up. I mean, Miranda's just such a good person.
- 22:02Speaker 2: She is. She really is.
- 22:05Speaker 3: Doug asked Taylor to take a three-day talking break, but
- 22:08Speaker 3: she's still in love with Ben. Miranda thinks she should
- 22:10Speaker 3: still be single.
- 22:11Speaker 2: Hold on.
- 22:11Speaker 3: Okay. If somebody told you they wanted to take a
- 22:13Speaker 3: three-day talking break. Bye. Bye.
- 22:18Speaker 2: Bye. But Taylor also wears Crocs and a t-shirt that
- 22:22Speaker 2: says number one Taylor. So I don't think it really
- 22:25Speaker 2: clicks with her.
- 22:27Speaker 3: But she doesn't, I don't ever see it for a moment.
- 22:31Speaker 3: And I'm wondering if we saw any of The Bachelorette.
- 22:34Speaker 3: If we would have ever seen her even like Doug
- 22:36Speaker 3: at all.
- 22:37Speaker 2: No, Doug doesn't want to talk to you because he
- 22:39Speaker 2: doesn't love you. But also, why three days?
- 22:45Speaker 3: Was that like how long he was going to be
- 22:47Speaker 3: gone with whoever he was cheating on her with?
- 22:49Speaker 2: I think he was just trying to figure it out.
- 22:50Speaker 2: Or she was saying like, I need time to relax.
- 22:54Speaker 2: And I don't know. I just keep thinking Miranda's the
- 22:57Speaker 2: only level-headed girl.
- 22:59Speaker 3: Well, I think Michaela is too.
- 23:02Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah. I shouldn't say that. Not only. One of
- 23:05Speaker 2: the only.
- 23:06Speaker 3: Yeah, one of the only. You know, Macy, Michaela.
- 23:09Speaker 2: Yeah. Then we go on to episode two, where Leanne,
- 23:12Speaker 2: Taylor's mom's 50th birthday. Taylor tells everyone about her latest
- 23:16Speaker 2: relationship drama. Jessie shares that Chase is going to Sundance
- 23:20Speaker 2: with Marciano, and she is pissed. I mean, this is
- 23:26Speaker 2: the other problem, knowing what we know now.
- 23:28Speaker 3: So she's pissed that they're hanging out with Marciano because
- 23:30Speaker 3: she's trying to make it work with her husband. But
- 23:32Speaker 3: we already know in real time that she's with Marciano.
- 23:36Speaker 2: Yes, and it's very hard to watch. And I just
- 23:38Speaker 2: roll my eyes at Jessie every time she talks about this.
- 23:42Speaker 3: Yeah, because they're like, I mean, not only are they
- 23:45Speaker 3: a fucking mess like those two, but they go above
- 23:48Speaker 3: and beyond to be like PDA in their Instagrams. Like
- 23:52Speaker 3: it is.
- 23:53Speaker 2: So over, he just got a tattoo of her. He
- 23:58Speaker 2: just got a tattoo. I'm not kidding.
- 23:59Speaker 3: I just saw a tattoo on his wrist of her
- 24:04Speaker 3: logo from her business.
- 24:07Speaker 2: And she's like crying and she's like, oh my gosh.
- 24:11Speaker 2: And I'm like, this is narcissism at its finest. This is,
- 24:15Speaker 2: I can't, I cannot. So that's what's hard.
- 24:19Speaker 3: Cause how are we even supposed to believe That Jessie
- 24:23Speaker 3: is wanting to be with her ex when we know
- 24:26Speaker 3: what we know now.
- 24:27Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying. Every time she opened her mouth
- 24:29Speaker 2: and she's like, that guy's trash. That guy's horrible. How
- 24:32Speaker 2: could he go hang out knowing that I'm trying to
- 24:35Speaker 2: work on my marriage? I'm like, something tells me you're
- 24:37Speaker 2: still banging on me.
- 24:38Speaker 3: Well, Jesse's ex-husband, Jordan, remember last season? He was, like,
- 24:44Speaker 3: heated the entire time. We haven't really seen much of
- 24:47Speaker 3: him this season. And I don't know if that's because
- 24:49Speaker 3: they were further along in their breakup than they're admitting
- 24:51Speaker 3: at this point.
- 24:52Speaker 2: Yeah. But, like, she makes it very clear. Like, he
- 24:58Speaker 2: wasn't trying to be one of the boys this season.
- 25:00Speaker 3: He was just trying to get through.
- 25:01Speaker 2: I think he was just trying to get out.
- 25:04Speaker 3: You think he was trying to get out? I think
- 25:05Speaker 3: he was trying to stay in. You think so?
- 25:07Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 25:08Speaker 3: And I love how she's like, you know, I bought
- 25:10Speaker 3: a house, but I made sure to just put it
- 25:12Speaker 3: in my name.
- 25:14Speaker 2: Is this a new house or the house? No, they
- 25:17Speaker 2: just moved into a new house. Yeah. They're all talking
- 25:19Speaker 2: like she's making more money than she can spend. Yeah.
- 25:23Speaker 2: Do you believe that? Yeah.
- 25:25Speaker 3: Huh. Because I think all of her hair stuff, all
- 25:27Speaker 3: of her products that she's selling, I think, you know, it's,
- 25:30Speaker 3: it really is. I think especially in this LDS community,
- 25:33Speaker 3: like they just.
- 25:34Speaker 2: Big deal.
- 25:35Speaker 3: Big deal.
- 25:37Speaker 2: Good for her.
- 25:38Speaker 3: Then Jen says she will be attending Whitney's debut in Chicago,
- 25:42Speaker 3: despite them not talking. Do you think she was doing
- 25:44Speaker 3: this to be a nice person, or do you think
- 25:46Speaker 3: she was doing this to get at Whitney?
- 25:52Speaker 2: I think she was just doing it because she wants
- 25:53Speaker 2: to be part of the show.
- 25:56Speaker 3: She's very odd to me.
- 25:58Speaker 2: She's a little socially awkward. I don't think that she
- 26:03Speaker 2: was trying to get at Whitney, but I don't know.
- 26:05Speaker 2: I might be wrong. I don't think like these girls think.
- 26:12Speaker 2: But it's, I don't know.
- 26:15Speaker 3: She hasn't even told, the fact that Whitney finds out
- 26:18Speaker 3: through somebody else.
- 26:21Speaker 2: I mean, I think the right thing to do was
- 26:22Speaker 2: to say, you know, send her a text or something
- 26:25Speaker 2: and saying, I'm so proud of you. I'll be there
- 26:26Speaker 2: to support you. And what is Whitney going to say?
- 26:29Speaker 2: Don't bother?
- 26:30Speaker 3: Yeah, don't come.
- 26:31Speaker 2: I mean, but letting her know in advance would have been.
- 26:33Speaker 2: The adult thing to do. I mean, Whitney had to
- 26:36Speaker 2: reach out to her. Yeah.
- 26:39Speaker 3: And so I found this out.
- 26:41Speaker 2: Do you hear Jesse say that Marciano is gross and
- 26:44Speaker 2: only wants to be on the show?
- 26:49Speaker 3: And then we see, like, massive alpha male energy with everybody.
- 26:52Speaker 3: And watching this entire thing, I'm not even sure why
- 26:56Speaker 3: we needed a full scene of these guys or why
- 27:00Speaker 3: there was cameras.
- 27:00Speaker 2: Oh, and Sundance with Chase, Marciano, and Dakota when they
- 27:03Speaker 2: meet up?
- 27:04Speaker 3: Yeah. Like, why?
- 27:05Speaker 2: Why did we need that? Trace douchebags to me. Trace douchebagos.
- 27:13Speaker 2: The way that they were walking, the slow motion, the things,
- 27:15Speaker 2: the outfits. I'm like, no. And then what Marciano with
- 27:19Speaker 2: that little hair flip thing in the, no, no, I'm sorry.
- 27:22Speaker 2: I would add this one. I'd rather Jordan.
- 27:26Speaker 3: No, none of them.
- 27:30Speaker 2: No, no, thank you.
- 27:31Speaker 3: Um, And Macy, Makayla, and their husbands are at dinner.
- 27:37Speaker 3: Macy's sister, McCall, and mom, Cindy Surpriser. McCall is a
- 27:41Speaker 3: cast member of the OC spinoff.
- 27:43Speaker 2: Do we know when this OC spinoff is going to happen?
- 27:46Speaker 3: I feel like it's got to be coming up somewhat soon.
- 27:51Speaker 2: I know a girl that would be perfect for this show.
- 27:53Speaker 2: I think they've already filmed it. Yeah, they did.
- 27:57Speaker 3: Then they start debating whether Macy and Jacob should have
- 28:00Speaker 3: another baby. This is where McCall is a hard pass
- 28:04Speaker 3: for me because she's like, no, I mean, why wouldn't
- 28:07Speaker 3: you have another baby?
- 28:08Speaker 2: That's what you're put on this earth to do. She's
- 28:10Speaker 2: very religious.
- 28:11Speaker 3: Yeah, clearly.
- 28:12Speaker 2: So, yeah, she's got like, what, four or five kids? Yeah,
- 28:16Speaker 2: I think so. Yeah. But it feels very like Danny
- 28:21Speaker 2: and Nia.
- 28:22Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah.
- 28:24Speaker 2: Yeah, well, Jacob, was it Jacob that was going so
- 28:26Speaker 2: deep about his tautsicles that he has on ice? And
- 28:30Speaker 2: where does their soul go? Yeah, like, what do you
- 28:33Speaker 2: think happens to their soul? And what happens here?
- 28:36Speaker 3: And I actually was surprised he was doing this. Why?
- 28:41Speaker 2: Because, like, give her a freaking break. She just had
- 28:46Speaker 2: a baby.
- 28:47Speaker 3: She just had a freaking baby. Give her a break.
- 28:50Speaker 3: She's having to be, like, the wholesome one of the show.
- 28:54Speaker 3: She just had a baby. She's told you she's not
- 28:57Speaker 3: ready to have another one. Like, why do you keep
- 28:58Speaker 3: pushing the issue? And then now you bring in the
- 29:02Speaker 3: sister and the mom surprise her by coming. And then
- 29:05Speaker 3: they surprise her by telling her she needs to have
- 29:08Speaker 3: another baby.
- 29:09Speaker 2: Well, I think that that's their religion. They just have
- 29:12Speaker 2: a lot of babies.
- 29:14Speaker 3: I think it's one thing to, you know, you're just
- 29:16Speaker 3: letting it happen.
- 29:17Speaker 2: But she's like, no, I have to go through IVF.
- 29:20Speaker 2: I think that's the difference. I think not being able
- 29:22Speaker 2: to use birth control.
- 29:25Speaker 3: And just continuously getting pregnant is one thing, like the
- 29:28Speaker 3: way I think that Jen Affleck must be doing it.
- 29:30Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 29:33Speaker 3: But having to go through, you know, massive treatments and
- 29:38Speaker 3: IVF and all that.
- 29:40Speaker 2: Of that, that's a lot. That is a lot. Now, Jessie,
- 29:45Speaker 2: she's concerning all the plastic surgery she's getting, and now
- 29:47Speaker 2: she's trying to fix the facial work that she had done.
- 29:51Speaker 2: She talked to Michaela and Macy about her Internet feud
- 29:55Speaker 2: with Chase. She blocked him after seeing him out Marciano. Like,
- 30:00Speaker 2: why is she like, stop? Like, you're so invested in this.
- 30:03Speaker 2: It's showing that you do care about Marciano.
- 30:05Speaker 3: And I mean, the problem is we also know now
- 30:08Speaker 3: that you are invested in Marciano.
- 30:10Speaker 2: So she's sitting at her plastic surgeon's or injection place
- 30:13Speaker 2: where I'm going today. Not that one, but my own.
- 30:16Speaker 2: Getting my face a little reunion ready a few weeks prior.
- 30:20Speaker 2: And the esthetician's like, No lips. No, we're not doing
- 30:25Speaker 2: your lips. And all I can think is like, you're
- 30:28Speaker 2: way too young. You're making yourself actually look older. I
- 30:31Speaker 2: thought she looked beautiful her first season. Me too. Beautiful. And,
- 30:37Speaker 2: but now she's also saying that she regrets doing it.
- 30:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:42Speaker 2: I understand why. I understand. That crafting scares the shit
- 30:46Speaker 2: out of me.
- 30:47Speaker 3: Well, I just think she just got done one thing
- 30:50Speaker 3: after another. And it's like, I think that's one of
- 30:52Speaker 3: those things where when you're not happy, you think if
- 30:55Speaker 3: I keep changing something internally, that then it's going to
- 30:59Speaker 3: make me happy or externally. Yeah.
- 31:02Speaker 2: I mean, we've all been there, but she's so young
- 31:04Speaker 2: and just to keep doing stuff and doing stuff.
- 31:07Speaker 3: And who are these doctors that do all of these
- 31:09Speaker 3: surgeries at one time?
- 31:10Speaker 2: At once. I know.
- 31:11Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 31:12Speaker 2: I mean, you hear so many.
- 31:14Speaker 3: Horror stories about this, but like, Do they just, in Utah,
- 31:17Speaker 3: they just let you get as many surgeries as you
- 31:19Speaker 3: want as long as you can pay for them?
- 31:21Speaker 2: I guess.
- 31:24Speaker 3: But I never even heard of a lower bleph.
- 31:26Speaker 2: Yeah. They take the skin underneath your eyelashes and pull
- 31:31Speaker 2: it up. And so I had that done.
- 31:34Speaker 3: I thought you had an upper bleph.
- 31:36Speaker 2: I had them both done. When you have a lower facelift,
- 31:40Speaker 2: if you pull this, you're going to get all the
- 31:42Speaker 2: wrinkling underneath your eyes. They got to pull the skin
- 31:45Speaker 2: up as well. They don't have to, but it's better
- 31:48Speaker 2: to do it that way.
- 31:49Speaker 3: I was always wondering why they call it the upper bleph,
- 31:51Speaker 3: because clearly the bleph is you're getting both blephs.
- 31:55Speaker 2: I don't even know what bleph means. What does bleph mean?
- 31:57Speaker 2: I don't know what bleph means either.
- 32:03Speaker 3: But I just, watching this whole thing, and then they're
- 32:08Speaker 3: kind of sitting in there with her while she's doing it.
- 32:11Speaker 3: The doctor's like, enough is enough. She's trying to dissolve stuff.
- 32:16Speaker 3: She's trying to get rid of stuff. She says it's
- 32:18Speaker 3: a huge mistake. She's not even healed from the surgery,
- 32:21Speaker 3: and she's already like, this was a huge mistake.
- 32:24Speaker 2: Yeah, I remember seeing her back on social media and
- 32:27Speaker 2: saying that, I have to delete comments. Well, then stop
- 32:30Speaker 2: posting about your face. Yeah, then stop. When Tamara turned blue.
- 32:34Speaker 3: Or green or whatever color she was, she knew what
- 32:36Speaker 3: was happening.
- 32:39Speaker 2: What color did you turn? Blue.
- 32:40Speaker 3: Blue.
- 32:42Speaker 2: Blue. And yeah, then it probably turned to a nice
- 32:44Speaker 2: shade of green as it was peeling off. That was
- 32:47Speaker 2: Obagi Blue Pill and a CO2 laser at the same time.
- 32:50Speaker 3: Oh my gosh.
- 32:51Speaker 2: My face is starting to itch because I'm using that tretinoin. Yeah.
- 32:55Speaker 2: And it's starting to burn. I'm like, oh.
- 32:57Speaker 3: You're starting to feel it a little.
- 32:58Speaker 2: Yeah. It's like when it gets that ugly where you
- 33:00Speaker 2: actually look older before you look younger because your skin
- 33:03Speaker 2: gets so damn dry and peely. I'm like, can't wait
- 33:06Speaker 2: for that. You're like, loves it. Yeah.
- 33:09Speaker 3: Then Taylor, Layla, Chase, and Mason hang out. At their
- 33:13Speaker 3: friend Lydia's house. And Taylor comes clean about sleeping with Dakota.
- 33:18Speaker 2: At this point, I don't give a shit anymore. Three times.
- 33:20Speaker 3: Three times. Oh, yeah.
- 33:22Speaker 2: Not just once. Three times. I don't think Taylor.
- 33:25Speaker 3: Should ever be able to, like, have a hand in
- 33:27Speaker 3: telling anybody how to approach a relationship.
- 33:31Speaker 2: Like, the fact that we, I mean.
- 33:35Speaker 3: And also the stuff that Taylor has been posting on
- 33:38Speaker 3: Instagram right now is wild.
- 33:40Speaker 2: What is she doing now?
- 33:42Speaker 3: She's just like, she's really leaning into like the bad
- 33:45Speaker 3: girl of this. And she's like, you know, I just
- 33:48Speaker 3: have this star power that not everybody has.
- 33:50Speaker 2: And people are just jealous of it. Stop it. Yes.
- 33:54Speaker 2: And continues on and on and on.
- 33:55Speaker 3: I mean, there's been like 20 posts about how people
- 33:58Speaker 3: are just jealous at how much she just.
- 34:02Speaker 2: She keeps it up. She's going to lose everything. Yeah.
- 34:04Speaker 2: She's like, you know, it doesn't even matter if there's
- 34:06Speaker 2: drama involving me. I just have the it factor. And
- 34:09Speaker 2: then she unfollowed everybody from the cast. Yeah. Um, but it's,
- 34:15Speaker 2: it's still a lot.
- 34:16Speaker 3: Um, it's a lot.
- 34:18Speaker 2: Then the girls tell Jesse, she should leave Jordan.
- 34:22Speaker 3: She did.
- 34:23Speaker 2: She did.
- 34:25Speaker 3: She did.
- 34:25Speaker 2: I'm like, we don't even need to see this. Cause
- 34:28Speaker 2: we know that she did. We already know. Yeah. With
- 34:32Speaker 2: other dudes.
- 34:33Speaker 3: Now we know that that happened.
- 34:35Speaker 2: They're too far behind.
- 34:36Speaker 3: Um, Then in New York, Whitney FaceTimes Layla and learns
- 34:40Speaker 3: that Jen is coming to her Broadway debut. Whitney thinks
- 34:43Speaker 3: it's just disingenuous because the last thing that happened between
- 34:47Speaker 3: them was Zach showing up for their talk instead of Jen.
- 34:49Speaker 3: I had totally forgotten that she had sent Zach in
- 34:52Speaker 3: her place.
- 34:52Speaker 2: Should Whitney be happy Jen's going to support her or
- 34:55Speaker 2: is it performative like she said?
- 34:59Speaker 3: I think that Jen should have called Whitney and said, Hey, Whitney,
- 35:03Speaker 3: I'm really sorry about what happened.
- 35:06Speaker 2: I want to be there to support you. Is that
- 35:08Speaker 2: okay with you?
- 35:08Speaker 3: Like, I don't want to be there to affect anything that,
- 35:12Speaker 3: you know, like your biggest night of your life.
- 35:15Speaker 2: Well, Whitney's like, enjoy the show, bitch.
- 35:17Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 35:18Speaker 2: She's like, yeah, whatever. Okay. I really like Whitney. I
- 35:21Speaker 2: do too. She's so talented.
- 35:25Speaker 3: She's so talented.
- 35:25Speaker 2: I feel like I had no idea. Like, I feel
- 35:28Speaker 2: like they didn't really touch. Maybe they did, and I
- 35:30Speaker 2: don't remember. Like, all her training and dancing, and I
- 35:34Speaker 2: think it was one of the Dance with the Stars,
- 35:38Speaker 2: the pros said, oh, I danced my whole life with Whitney.
- 35:42Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 35:42Speaker 2: And I'm like, did we all know that? And I
- 35:46Speaker 2: also am loving Whitney's husband. Yeah. Which we didn't like
- 35:49Speaker 2: him in the past either. And he's on Dance with
- 35:51Speaker 2: the Stars, right? Yeah, Connor. He's on Dancing with the Stars.
- 35:55Speaker 2: And then she keeps doing like cameos on his reels.
- 36:00Speaker 3: To help promote him.
- 36:02Speaker 2: I love watching her dancing.
- 36:04Speaker 3: I love watching her dancing, too. I'm also know who
- 36:06Speaker 3: I'm loving watching dancing. Who? I'm loving Tyler Cameron and
- 36:10Speaker 3: Sharna Burgess's posts.
- 36:13Speaker 2: Like, I can't get enough of them. They're on Dancing
- 36:15Speaker 2: with the Stars.
- 36:16Speaker 3: Oh, somebody DMed me, and they're like, of course, they're like,
- 36:20Speaker 3: why don't you guys recap Dancing with the Stars?
- 36:22Speaker 2: I'm like, Tam would never.
- 36:24Speaker 3: And then they're like, why don't you and Tam go
- 36:26Speaker 3: on Dancing with the Stars?
- 36:27Speaker 2: And I was like, we would never. Tam would never.
- 36:31Speaker 2: We would never.
- 36:33Speaker 3: Like, we know our strengths and our weaknesses, and that
- 36:36Speaker 3: is beyond a weakness that we're.
- 36:37Speaker 2: Like, why would I want to embarrass myself like that?
- 36:39Speaker 2: I do that enough on Orange County, okay?
- 36:43Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean, just even watching them practice or do,
- 36:47Speaker 3: I couldn't even do one of these reels.
- 36:48Speaker 2: And then thinking about having to compete against Jenna Dewan. No, no.
- 36:53Speaker 2: And she's like so sexy and she looks so hot.
- 36:56Speaker 3: And I'm like, me trying to do a sexy move,
- 36:58Speaker 3: it couldn't be more awkward. Right.
- 37:01Speaker 2: I mean, I'm always up for a challenge, but I
- 37:03Speaker 2: also know my limitations. Somebody's like, well, it's because people
- 37:07Speaker 2: watch it because they want to see growth.
- 37:08Speaker 3: I'm like, yeah, that's before everybody was famous on the show.
- 37:11Speaker 2: Well, now they hire professional dancers like Whitney. Yeah.
- 37:16Speaker 3: And if they're not professional dancers, they've already shown that
- 37:19Speaker 3: they have dance experience through.
- 37:21Speaker 1: Trained.
- 37:22Speaker 3: Yeah. They're good at it.
- 37:24Speaker 2: They have rhythm.
- 37:24Speaker 3: We have none of those things.
- 37:25Speaker 2: Which I think is not fair, honestly.
- 37:28Speaker 3: I don't think it.
- 37:29Speaker 2: I think it takes a wave.
- 37:30Speaker 3: I think it makes it for a cool, you know,
- 37:33Speaker 3: thing if you love dancing to be able to watch
- 37:35Speaker 3: somebody that's incredible dancing. But like it's also enough can
- 37:40Speaker 3: be enough. Yeah. It's going to detour people from doing
- 37:44Speaker 3: that show.
- 37:44Speaker 2: Right. Well, let's move on. So in the car, Jesse, Macy,
- 37:48Speaker 2: and Michaela plan to ambush Chase and crash Dakota's birthday party.
- 37:52Speaker 2: Jesse jokes that his car will be easy to spot
- 37:55Speaker 2: because it's a white Tesla with a breathalyzer attached. I mean,
- 37:59Speaker 2: it's not attached to the outside, but I thought that
- 38:01Speaker 2: was pretty funny.
- 38:02Speaker 3: That was pretty funny.
- 38:03Speaker 2: And then she's like, should I park here? And somebody's like, oh,
- 38:05Speaker 2: nobody's going to notice a blue G-Wagon. Yeah, nobody should
- 38:09Speaker 2: notice it.
- 38:10Speaker 3: Chase pulls up and the girls confront him. And then
- 38:12Speaker 3: Michaela says, this is our show. And he says, might
- 38:15Speaker 3: be ours now, Michaela, because I'm on it too.
- 38:22Speaker 2: He's not a leading actor on that show.
- 38:24Speaker 3: No.
- 38:24Speaker 2: He's a backup singer. Well, when Jesse asked him if
- 38:27Speaker 2: he has the same salary as them, he says, I
- 38:31Speaker 2: got more than your husband. That's actually interesting. I'm wondering
- 38:34Speaker 2: if that's true. I don't know if he meant more
- 38:38Speaker 2: than your husband in normal life or more than your
- 38:40Speaker 2: husband gets for participating on this show.
- 38:43Speaker 3: Well, I need to know how much Chase is getting paid.
- 38:46Speaker 3: And is he getting paid per episode that he appears in?
- 38:49Speaker 2: Probably. He's paying his episodic rate. He probably is getting
- 38:52Speaker 2: paid a lot because he is a shitster.
- 38:54Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 38:55Speaker 2: Let's face it. Her husband doesn't do much. I mean,
- 38:58Speaker 2: but her husband's– like, I like her husband. Yeah. So
- 39:02Speaker 2: Macy gives Dakota her book for his birthday. I just
- 39:07Speaker 2: don't even know why they're wasting their time with Chase.
- 39:10Speaker 3: I don't know why they're wasting their time with Chase.
- 39:13Speaker 3: And like, I'm not sure if I feel like if
- 39:16Speaker 3: I left my book, like one, can Dakota read?
- 39:19Speaker 2: Two, like, is it going to happen? Really? What is
- 39:25Speaker 2: the point? Yes. Okay. They got to promote your book again,
- 39:28Speaker 2: but let's, be really clear.
- 39:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 39:29Speaker 2: I mean, honestly, I mean, oh, I might have one
- 39:32Speaker 2: of your books in the back of my car. Go
- 39:35Speaker 2: back there and look. Oh, and guess what? There's a
- 39:37Speaker 2: Sharpie right next to it.
- 39:43Speaker 1: Back to School is here, and you know what that means.
- 39:46Speaker 1: Dirty Rush is on. As campuses come back to life
- 39:49Speaker 1: and Rush Week kicks into high gear, we're taking you
- 39:52Speaker 1: inside the mysterious journey of a sorority girl, from pledging
- 39:55Speaker 1: to initiation and just about everything in between. Join me,
- 39:59Speaker 1: Gia Giudice, Daisy Kent, and Jen Fessler.
- 40:02Speaker 2: Dirty Rush takes you deep inside Greek life.
- 40:05Speaker 3: Let's get dirty.
- 40:07Speaker 1: Download the free iHeartRadio app, search Dirty Rush, and listen now.
- 40:15Speaker 3: Then Mom Talk meets up at a gym to film
- 40:18Speaker 3: contact before heading to New York.
- 40:21Speaker 2: I can't even imagine if we were like, all right, everybody,
- 40:24Speaker 2: come on, troops, let's meet. We're all going to dance around.
- 40:27Speaker 2: I mean, this is, it's a lot to take in. Yeah.
- 40:34Speaker 3: We get back to more of Whitney being surprised that
- 40:37Speaker 3: Jen is coming, but Jen says she's already committed to it,
- 40:39Speaker 3: so she'll be there.
- 40:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 40:41Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 40:42Speaker 2: Too bad. See you there.
- 40:43Speaker 3: Too bad.
- 40:44Speaker 2: Smell you later. I'm coming.
- 40:47Speaker 3: Then Taylor brings Michaela and Macy to tour homes with
- 40:50Speaker 3: her mom, who doesn't know she's slept with Dakota since
- 40:52Speaker 3: coming back from The Bachelorette.
- 40:56Speaker 2: And she probably shouldn't tell her either. I mean, she
- 41:02Speaker 2: shouldn't tell her.
- 41:03Speaker 3: But also I feel like this shows where Macy and
- 41:05Speaker 3: Michaela have reached their breaking point by enabling Taylor's bad
- 41:08Speaker 3: decisions and secrets.
- 41:10Speaker 2: Yeah. And like, how does the.
- 41:11Speaker 3: Mom not know?
- 41:14Speaker 2: I can go on with that, but I'm not going to.
- 41:17Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean, because the mom seems very invested in
- 41:20Speaker 3: knowing what's going on and wanting to be on the
- 41:22Speaker 3: show as well.
- 41:23Speaker 2: Her mom is just an older version of Taylor. Yeah.
- 41:27Speaker 3: And I, but I also think I don't see Taylor
- 41:31Speaker 3: not telling her mom. Well, I mean, I feel like
- 41:36Speaker 3: she was so excited to tell everybody that. Why was
- 41:39Speaker 3: she so excited to tell everybody she was cheating on
- 41:42Speaker 3: her fiancé with multiple people?
- 41:45Speaker 2: Girl, I don't know. I don't know. Not self-aware.
- 41:48Speaker 3: Maybe it makes sense.
- 41:49Speaker 2: Well, then it gets exciting in episode three where MomTalk
- 41:52Speaker 2: makes it to New York City. Whitney thinks it'll be
- 41:55Speaker 2: good for Taylor to be on a girl's trip away.
- 41:58Speaker 2: No men. Meanwhile, Ben is waiting in Taylor's penthouse for her.
- 42:03Speaker 2: I got so embarrassed for Ben at this moment. And
- 42:06Speaker 2: I don't ever want a 10-floor penthouse with stairs.
- 42:10Speaker 3: No.
- 42:11Speaker 2: I've never even heard of that hotel.
- 42:13Speaker 3: When he was sitting right outside the elevator waiting for her,
- 42:15Speaker 3: and I was like, no, Ben.
- 42:18Speaker 2: Well, Ben, he checks in as Taylor's brother. Taylor just
- 42:21Speaker 2: seems to give zero fucks about the NDA with the bachelorette.
- 42:25Speaker 2: And then we find out that Jessie, who just said
- 42:28Speaker 2: she's not having any more procedures, wasn't there because she
- 42:30Speaker 2: had a breast procedure that she's having pain.
- 42:33Speaker 3: Yeah. And we're like, hold on, there's more surgeries.
- 42:40Speaker 2: But she's still coming.
- 42:41Speaker 3: She's just waiting an extra day because she wants to
- 42:43Speaker 3: heal a little more. I'm like, I'm sure that day
- 42:45Speaker 3: is going to do it. But then Taylor joins the
- 42:49Speaker 3: girls for dinner with, I feel like guilt is painted
- 42:52Speaker 3: all over her face.
- 42:54Speaker 2: Well, I almost feel like she wanted it to get out.
- 42:56Speaker 2: She's like, I'm like, what are you doing? I just
- 43:03Speaker 2: got to go. I got to go. Oh, is there
- 43:07Speaker 2: a guy? And then she leads them on, like, are
- 43:09Speaker 2: you taking nude?
- 43:09Speaker 3: She's like, I would never take a nude. What do
- 43:11Speaker 3: you mean? I would never take a nude.
- 43:13Speaker 2: I'm like, oh, yeah, you would never do a.
- 43:14Speaker 3: Lot of things.
- 43:15Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 43:16Speaker 3: I'm so sure.
- 43:16Speaker 2: It's not a good idea. Tell my kids that all
- 43:19Speaker 2: the time. Don't ever take a nude and send it
- 43:21Speaker 2: to anybody. No, you can't. My oldest son did that
- 43:27Speaker 2: 18 years ago. We talked about this in Big Bear
- 43:30Speaker 2: the other day when he was there with his girlfriend.
- 43:32Speaker 2: And then he, she put it on the internet. Nowadays
- 43:37Speaker 2: you get sued for that. And then he, I remember
- 43:39Speaker 2: him calling me and going, mom, if you get a
- 43:41Speaker 2: Google alert with my name on it or you see
- 43:43Speaker 2: an article, do not open it. Do not open it.
- 43:48Speaker 3: And I'm like, why?
- 43:49Speaker 2: He wouldn't even tell me. Of course I'm going to
- 43:50Speaker 2: open it.
- 43:52Speaker 3: Well, then Jen asked the girls if they think Whitney
- 43:55Speaker 3: actually wants to be friends with her.
- 43:58Speaker 2: The fact that they all can muster.
- 43:59Speaker 3: Up enough fakeness to say that they think she does
- 44:02Speaker 3: is amazing.
- 44:02Speaker 1: I know.
- 44:03Speaker 2: They're like, sure, we need you to be here right now, Jen. So, yep, we.
- 44:08Speaker 3: Definitely think she's thinking about you.
- 44:10Speaker 2: You're on the top of her priority list right now.
- 44:12Speaker 2: Then you have Taylor over there nonstop texting Ben at dinner.
- 44:17Speaker 2: It was so annoying. And then she's giggling. And I'm like, oh,
- 44:21Speaker 2: my God, this girl is sending me over the edge.
- 44:24Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 44:24Speaker 2: And then she's like, then she orders every dessert on
- 44:27Speaker 2: the menu. And then leaves. And then leaves. But I'm like,
- 44:32Speaker 2: Taylor's like, oh, you know, I'm.
- 44:33Speaker 3: Going to make this bill for dinner. So expensive. But
- 44:37Speaker 3: I have no use in it. Like, I'm just doing this, like,
- 44:40Speaker 3: as if she's taking over the bill. Like, no, we
- 44:42Speaker 3: know production's paying for this dinner.
- 44:43Speaker 2: Yeah, we do. Yeah. And, like, the guy's like, there's
- 44:47Speaker 2: a lot of desserts. You don't want to do all
- 44:48Speaker 2: of them. She's like, let's do them all. And this
- 44:50Speaker 2: is where they lost me. The whole Eminem Incorporated was
- 44:54Speaker 2: going to go check out– Taylor's room, they damn well
- 44:59Speaker 2: know that Ben's up there. I mean, this is where
- 45:01Speaker 2: the show really starts to look staged and scripted. The
- 45:05Speaker 2: girls think Taylor's using Ben to get back at Dakota.
- 45:09Speaker 2: I don't know if that's true. Don't really care.
- 45:13Speaker 3: Before that even happens, they enter and they find Ben
- 45:16Speaker 3: hidden on the third floor.
- 45:18Speaker 2: Yeah. Like, please. Well, then how about when Ben tells
- 45:23Speaker 2: Taylor he wants a stable, long-term relationship? But honey, Taylor's
- 45:27Speaker 2: not your girl. She's quite the opposite. But I felt like.
- 45:31Speaker 3: When she first saw Ben, I feel like this is
- 45:34Speaker 3: the definition of what love bombing is. I think at
- 45:36Speaker 3: first she was really into Ben. I think she was
- 45:40Speaker 3: really bringing him in.
- 45:41Speaker 2: Yeah, that TikTok relationship, long distance, really pulled her in
- 45:47Speaker 2: and made her fall in love. Well, that's why I
- 45:50Speaker 2: think it's love bombing.
- 45:51Speaker 3: I think because then she's ended up posting– picture of
- 45:56Speaker 3: flowers that he sent her, like thinking of you.
- 45:59Speaker 2: I know you're probably sick of flowers, but I want
- 46:01Speaker 2: to see you.
- 46:02Speaker 3: But I don't know. Eminem Incorporated going up there and
- 46:06Speaker 3: finding him, I agree with you, felt a little staged.
- 46:09Speaker 3: But I love Eminem Incorporated. Then the next day, Taylor
- 46:12Speaker 3: and Ben take a bubble bath together and Taylor drinks
- 46:15Speaker 3: from the faucet.
- 46:16Speaker 2: This clip is clearly going viral.
- 46:20Speaker 3: And I understand why.
- 46:20Speaker 2: Look on her face. She's so crazy. Look on his face.
- 46:25Speaker 2: He was like. He was disgusted.
- 46:27Speaker 3: You could even see his little stash like.
- 46:32Speaker 2: Yeah, but even the bubble, the whole. I don't know.
- 46:36Speaker 3: You've taken a bath with somebody. I'm not a big
- 46:38Speaker 3: let me take a bath with somebody person.
- 46:40Speaker 2: Well, this really outdid my bubble bath scene. It really
- 46:45Speaker 2: outdid it.
- 46:46Speaker 3: Also, they started, you know, back to like this looking
- 46:50Speaker 3: at each other.
- 46:51Speaker 2: And then they rotated to being.
- 46:53Speaker 3: There, and then that's when she decided to taste the water,
- 46:55Speaker 3: and he looked disgusted. I also feel no sexual chemistry
- 46:59Speaker 3: between these two.
- 47:00Speaker 2: No, it's all weird. Zero.
- 47:02Speaker 3: While shopping, Layla tells the girls that she bought Mason
- 47:05Speaker 3: a Breitling watch for going back to school. The watch
- 47:07Speaker 3: is anywhere between $ 3, 500 and $ 48, 000.
- 47:11Speaker 2: I mean, that's a big price gap. Yeah. I seriously
- 47:14Speaker 2: doubt she bought the $ 48, 000 one, but I didn't realize
- 47:17Speaker 2: you needed a watch, a fancy watch for school. I
- 47:21Speaker 2: feel like I need Layla to take a class on
- 47:24Speaker 2: how not to get used. Yeah. I also feel like
- 47:27Speaker 2: a lot of this show is endorsement stuff, even down
- 47:29Speaker 2: to the reunion where they have the swig and all
- 47:31Speaker 2: that crap. Yeah. I just feel like, oh, did Brightland
- 47:37Speaker 2: pay you to say that? The show is just a
- 47:40Speaker 2: little bit too product placement. Yeah, product placement and staged.
- 47:45Speaker 3: But the girls ask Layla what Mason has gifted her recently,
- 47:48Speaker 3: and the only thing she can think of is a soda.
- 47:50Speaker 2: Yeah. Oh, you got yourself a winner. Winner, winner, chicken dinner.
- 47:56Speaker 3: I've taken him on multiple vacations, but he got me
- 47:59Speaker 3: a soda once.
- 48:00Speaker 2: No, he hasn't even gotten her a chicken dinner.
- 48:02Speaker 3: Then Taylor's getting ready for the night when Ben asks
- 48:06Speaker 3: if they would raise their hypothetical kids in the Mormon church.
- 48:09Speaker 3: And Taylor's like, well, I mean, there are hypotheticals.
- 48:15Speaker 2: He's like, well, your kids are already going to the church, right?
- 48:18Speaker 2: And she's like, I'm talking about ours. I mean, girl,
- 48:23Speaker 2: weren't you engaged to another man last week? We're talking
- 48:26Speaker 2: about kids now?
- 48:28Speaker 3: And we find out in a day from now you
- 48:30Speaker 3: don't even like him, but you're making him go down
- 48:33Speaker 3: the freaking kids spiral right now? Yeah.
- 48:39Speaker 2: Well, then we get to Whitney and her Broadway debut.
- 48:42Speaker 2: I wish we could have seen it, but we can't.
- 48:44Speaker 2: And the ladies thought she was incredible, which she is.
- 48:46Speaker 2: She's very talented. Jen slowly approaches Whitney. It was a
- 48:52Speaker 2: little bit cringy. She's slowly sneaking up on her.
- 48:56Speaker 3: I was self-conscious watching it. Like, I was like, don't
- 49:00Speaker 3: do this.
- 49:00Speaker 2: Yeah, so Jen approaches Whitney at the after party and
- 49:04Speaker 2: congratulates her, saying there's a lot of things you need
- 49:07Speaker 2: to talk about. But she didn't say it just once.
- 49:09Speaker 2: She said it like a few times, but not tonight,
- 49:11Speaker 2: not tonight. All I can think is, Whitney, you are
- 49:14Speaker 2: way too talented for this show. I think we can
- 49:18Speaker 2: see why Whitney's going to be gone soon. Yeah, yeah.
- 49:21Speaker 3: Like Whitney's got too much going on. And then I
- 49:24Speaker 3: also was like, I thought Jen didn't want to be
- 49:26Speaker 3: on the show. Now Jen is gung-ho for it. I
- 49:29Speaker 3: don't get it. And why did I just see pictures
- 49:31Speaker 3: of Jen moving, being like eight months pregnant, lifting heavy boxes?
- 49:36Speaker 2: I know, I saw that.
- 49:37Speaker 3: Then the girls end up talking to Layla and saying, like,
- 49:39Speaker 3: you need to have this conversation. And you can tell
- 49:41Speaker 3: Layla has no interest in having it. Yeah.
- 49:44Speaker 2: Your boyfriend is not good for you. And then we
- 49:47Speaker 2: do find out that they did break up. Yeah. And
- 49:50Speaker 2: so they're like, you know. And he's just sitting there,
- 49:52Speaker 2: taking it, not saying a word. It's an uncomfortable conversation.
- 49:57Speaker 2: Layla's on the other side. And she's just sitting there.
- 50:00Speaker 2: I mean, they're in the room.
- 50:02Speaker 3: Layla initiates a conversation with Mason about the imbalance in
- 50:05Speaker 3: their relationship.
- 50:06Speaker 2: I don't think that was the way to do it.
- 50:08Speaker 2: I'm sorry.
- 50:08Speaker 3: She could have just been like, I feel like you
- 50:12Speaker 3: don't really care about me. The fact that she made
- 50:15Speaker 3: it about an imbalance and like her all about money,
- 50:18Speaker 3: I think was.
- 50:19Speaker 2: Well, I think that she was tippy-toeing around it. She
- 50:22Speaker 2: was afraid if she said what she really wanted to say, like, listen,
- 50:26Speaker 2: I pay for everything. You don't do anything. But I
- 50:30Speaker 2: still think the fact that she.
- 50:32Speaker 3: Said an imbalance, I think that's why he wouldn't even
- 50:35Speaker 3: stay with her. She made the choice to pay for
- 50:37Speaker 3: everything for him.
- 50:40Speaker 2: It's not like he's sitting there.
- 50:41Speaker 3: Saying, can I have a Breitling watch?
- 50:43Speaker 2: Right, right, right, right. That's what I'm saying. I think
- 50:45Speaker 2: she needs a bit of therapy.
- 50:48Speaker 3: Yeah. And then all the women meet for lunch and
- 50:51Speaker 3: Whitney discusses her goals for the future. Jen seems a
- 50:55Speaker 3: bit jealous. And then Jen pulls Whitney away from the
- 50:57Speaker 3: table to talk one-on-one. And the conversation goes south. And
- 51:01Speaker 3: we will talk about that when we get back.
- 51:05Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah. I can't wait for that. I feel like
- 51:09Speaker 2: Jen is a bit jealous of Whitney. She has everything
- 51:12Speaker 2: that Jen wants.
- 51:13Speaker 3: All right, guys. Thank you.
- 51:15Speaker 2: See you soon.
