- 0:35Speaker 2: Irish tight end Todd Furlong, he's a rugby player, is
- 0:39Speaker 2: battling a potato addiction.
- 0:42Speaker 1: According to his.
- 0:45Speaker 2: Nutritions, they report that he eats eight to ten potatoes
- 0:50Speaker 2: a day. The nutrition says, hey, man, on game days,
- 0:53Speaker 2: you can eat that many potatoes.
- 0:55Speaker 1: But on a regular day that's too many potatoes.
- 0:58Speaker 4: You know about the potato diet, though potato died. That's
- 1:01Speaker 4: a real thing where you only eat potatoes. And one
- 1:05Speaker 4: of the bouncers at the Laugh Factory he's also a comedian,
- 1:10Speaker 4: but he did that he lost like maybe like thirty
- 1:13Speaker 4: pounds in like four months.
- 1:15Speaker 3: I thought potatoes made you gain weight?
- 1:17Speaker 5: Okay, they can right, if you work out, potatoes is
- 1:20Speaker 5: great for your help.
- 1:21Speaker 1: Shot.
- 1:21Speaker 4: Well, he does it in conjunction with also like in
- 1:25Speaker 4: a minute fastt but loud. It's a whole thing pan
- 1:28Speaker 4: from pen and Taylor. He's like heavy into that. That's
- 1:31Speaker 4: how he lost. Yes, the one that doesn't talk. Nah,
- 1:35Speaker 4: he's the one that does talk.
- 1:37Speaker 3: Yeah to ten potatoes like an apple, just.
- 1:40Speaker 2: Like eats bab I think he's uh, that's a lot
- 1:45Speaker 2: of potato. Looks like he's eating different kind of ways.
- 1:48Speaker 3: And it's because it's not like I really like these.
- 1:50Speaker 3: It's like I'm addicted.
- 1:51Speaker 1: He'd just be he'd be going head, he'd be knocking
- 1:54Speaker 1: him back like cheese.
- 1:55Speaker 6: It's okay, so here it is right. The rules are simple.
- 1:58Speaker 4: When a potato die, it's a short term dietary plan
- 2:01Speaker 4: where an individual has to eat only potatoes for three
- 2:03Speaker 4: to five days, followed by a week or months, depending
- 2:07Speaker 4: on the person's requirement. This extreme eating plan focuses on
- 2:10Speaker 4: consuming nothing but cooked potatoes for rapid weight loss.
- 2:14Speaker 6: I guess boiled potatoes, yes, bord o baked. People think
- 2:19Speaker 6: that you.
- 2:19Speaker 5: Don't need carbs to lose weight. You actually do need
- 2:22Speaker 5: carbs to lose weight.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Yeah, because they create energy and they burn off the fat.
- 2:26Speaker 5: Yeah, so you have to like, you can't just like
- 2:28Speaker 5: eat carbs and don't work out, though, Like I can
- 2:31Speaker 5: you do.
- 2:32Speaker 1: I love potatoes. That's why I picked this story.
- 2:35Speaker 2: I was just like waffle fries to the baked potatoes,
- 2:38Speaker 2: floaded mashed.
- 2:40Speaker 1: So wait, I'm confused.
- 2:42Speaker 7: So there's some there's some foods that if we're told
- 2:45Speaker 7: to just stay away from, like.
- 2:46Speaker 3: Carbs, don't eat carbs, blah blah blah.
- 2:48Speaker 7: But then those same foods, if you work out, will
- 2:51Speaker 7: help you burn the fat.
- 2:52Speaker 5: Like for instance, people think like white rice isn't good, Like,
- 2:55Speaker 5: if you want to lose weight, don't eat white rice. Actually,
- 2:57Speaker 5: white rice is really good for you, like better than
- 2:59Speaker 5: brown rice.
- 3:01Speaker 6: Is better than brown that's that's the bad get you.
- 3:04Speaker 5: Wait, brown rice ain't it's good. I thought it when
- 3:07Speaker 5: you're working out. Like my trainer he was like, I
- 3:09Speaker 5: don't want you eat brown rice at all. Eat the
- 3:11Speaker 5: white rice. It's better for you. And literally I have
- 3:14Speaker 5: to eat rice. That's how I was losing weight. I
- 3:16Speaker 5: was eating rice twice a day.
- 3:18Speaker 3: Why why white rice? Why why the whites instead of
- 3:22Speaker 3: the brown.
- 3:22Speaker 1: It's right supremacy, right sremacy. What is your favorite type
- 3:31Speaker 1: of rice? Oh? I meant like grain.
- 3:36Speaker 2: That was like, doesn't matter what I like, money.
- 3:41Speaker 3: Or jazz jasmine. I was about to say, I don't
- 3:43Speaker 3: know a lot of the rice types.
- 3:45Speaker 4: I like regular white rice, long grain fried rice, long
- 3:48Speaker 4: grain fried.
- 3:49Speaker 3: Rice, top tier.
- 3:53Speaker 6: I wish ill had it in Saint Louis. I wish
- 3:54Speaker 6: y'all had it, so y'all, okay.
- 3:57Speaker 1: You brought it to the show.
- 3:59Speaker 2: I was surprised by how good the fried rice and
- 4:01Speaker 2: Saint Louis was. Black folks be loving Chinese food, Chinese
- 4:05Speaker 2: food police because.
- 4:06Speaker 3: You know why? I heard this, like back and forgot
- 4:08Speaker 3: what war?
- 4:09Speaker 1: Korean War?
- 4:10Speaker 5: There you go, black people they t told them how
- 4:13Speaker 5: to make fried chicken. So they was like, oh we
- 4:15Speaker 5: got season all of this ship.
- 4:16Speaker 1: Up niggas making showing Netflix.
- 4:20Speaker 3: Good and now they're like, this is Chinese food, nah.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Man, Korean people be front.
- 4:24Speaker 3: I remembered so good noodles.
- 4:28Speaker 2: Finding out that black people taught them how to fry
- 4:31Speaker 2: chicken made me feel so good, and I felt bad
- 4:34Speaker 2: being like why is this why this fried I mean
- 4:37Speaker 2: fried chicken is so good and it tastes so close
- 4:40Speaker 2: to the crispiness is really hard to match. Ship was
- 4:45Speaker 2: slapping because, like KFC, the thing I hate about their
- 4:48Speaker 2: chicken their skin.
- 4:50Speaker 1: It feels like a warm paper town.
- 4:52Speaker 6: I just lost white skin. I don't.
- 4:58Speaker 3: They don't match the breast.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Never take eleven herbs and spices? No three? Maybe?
- 5:09Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 5:09Speaker 1: You chasing four? They are eleven? What are they? And
- 5:13Speaker 1: I don't want the secret? I'm curious.
- 5:16Speaker 3: A CAMC movie No with Johns with uh not.
- 5:21Speaker 5: John Stables thought Slater. I did a whole thing on that.
- 5:25Speaker 5: I did a whole rent on this. There's a movie
- 5:28Speaker 5: called It's.
- 5:28Speaker 1: Called Recipe for Seduction and it's.
- 5:31Speaker 5: A young Colonel Sanders. But he looks, oh thiss fuck
- 5:33Speaker 5: he got white hair. Oh that's real, that's a real,
- 5:37Speaker 5: Lifetime said, Lfetime made this movie with KFC that Mario Lopez, Yes,
- 5:42Speaker 5: as a c Slater, I thought that was a joke
- 5:44Speaker 5: when they made the colonel.
- 5:46Speaker 3: No, that's real. And he talks about how he found
- 5:49Speaker 3: the eleven herbs and spices and.
- 5:52Speaker 2: He didn't make that. He didn't get pop until he
- 5:54Speaker 2: was like fifty or sixty. I think it's a good story.
- 5:57Speaker 5: Put a young ass six pack, motherfucker in a wig?
- 6:01Speaker 5: Why just get an old man, old Latin man.
- 6:03Speaker 7: I think they just say eleven herbs and spices because
- 6:06Speaker 7: eleven has the perfect amount of syllables, like saying three herbs.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Five don't make six seven hers even is the perfect
- 6:15Speaker 1: eleven herbs and spies.
- 6:16Speaker 3: Eleven herbs?
- 6:17Speaker 1: What are they?
- 6:19Speaker 5: That makes it sound like like somebody colored, like seasoned it,
- 6:23Speaker 5: because if it was three seasons, you'd be like the
- 6:26Speaker 5: white person.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Melissa, when we lived in Washington, she worked at a
- 6:34Speaker 1: bank I believe in, which is like kind of a
- 6:37Speaker 1: suburb of Tacoma. Old black, old white lady came and
- 6:40Speaker 1: saw her and these people live. She lived in a farm.
- 6:42Speaker 6: I heard this story.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know if I told you, but she
- 6:45Speaker 2: told her you are such a beautiful colored girl. And
- 6:49Speaker 2: Melissa was like thank you.
- 6:52Speaker 6: Yep.
- 6:53Speaker 7: When the age slip out, that slight racism from a
- 6:56Speaker 7: different time.
- 6:58Speaker 3: Yeah, my grandma is like that, Yeah, you're having like
- 7:01Speaker 3: a regular conversation.
- 7:02Speaker 7: And then the Orientals out there's ring it in.
- 7:08Speaker 3: I get it, I get it. You're from a different time.
- 7:12Speaker 2: Oriental used to be the blue flavor of noodles. Yeah,
- 7:16Speaker 2: I think they changed it though. They changed that flavor because.
- 7:18Speaker 3: They got woke.
- 7:20Speaker 7: It's it's offensive to everybody, but the rug they ruin
- 7:24Speaker 7: for me, I'm saying the rug industry, doesn't that mine oriental.
- 7:28Speaker 7: You can still have oriental rug.
- 7:30Speaker 3: Yeah, that's cold blooded though everywhere else.
- 7:32Speaker 1: Yeah, they changed it to soy sauce.
- 7:36Speaker 6: Somebody just typed it. It's called soy sauce.
- 7:38Speaker 7: You got who oriental flavor was soy sauce.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Soy sauce.
- 7:42Speaker 6: They just taste it the same.
- 7:45Speaker 1: By the way, it didn't.
- 7:46Speaker 2: We had ramen in Japan one time, and it did
- 7:48Speaker 2: not dawn on me that what we were eating the packet,
- 7:51Speaker 2: we're eating a poor version of of that, because the
- 7:54Speaker 2: real ramen is so much.
- 7:57Speaker 6: It's a lot.
- 7:57Speaker 2: It's a lot like the derivative of black folks.
- 8:01Speaker 6: It's a soup meals.
- 8:04Speaker 3: Yeah, you didn't know that. I've never seen nobody put
- 8:10Speaker 3: no egg in it.
- 8:12Speaker 6: I never Yeah, she's a k pop kids.
- 8:15Speaker 4: My daughter is big into Asian culture, mainly Korean culture.
- 8:18Speaker 6: Like she can she can speak it type of texted. Yes,
- 8:22Speaker 6: her text board all Korean?
- 8:24Speaker 1: What did she take that?
- 8:25Speaker 6: And she learned it from YouTube? She taught herself Korean
- 8:29Speaker 6: from YouTube.
- 8:31Speaker 3: She knows some words of the song.
- 8:32Speaker 4: They just she just went to their concert, BTS concert
- 8:37Speaker 4: on Monday.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Here yeah Korean. Yeah, that motherfucker know it all?
- 8:44Speaker 6: Can forgot out how to take the trash out?
- 8:47Speaker 3: Difficult in the world, learned Korean.
- 8:50Speaker 6: I don't know what take the motherfucking trash out.
- 8:53Speaker 1: Here's something in English.
- 8:56Speaker 6: She mean with Korean. Motherfucker you know.
- 8:59Speaker 1: Before we got off the subject, I have a question
- 9:01Speaker 1: for y'all. If you're nutrition and said, hey, you're addiced
- 9:03Speaker 1: to the one food based on what you eat currently,
- 9:06Speaker 1: what would they be.
- 9:07Speaker 6: Pe saying coochie coochie, coochie for shell for show.
- 9:12Speaker 1: They gotta take my life for they took that, I'll die.
- 9:17Speaker 3: Ain't no rehab.
- 9:18Speaker 1: I've died eating it.
- 9:19Speaker 3: Rehabit eating.
- 9:23Speaker 2: The second place, not what you eat. No people eat
- 9:28Speaker 2: your couchie. I'm talking about what.
- 9:31Speaker 1: People don't eat your cochin.
- 9:35Speaker 6: No put on.
- 9:40Speaker 3: You, Hey, pull your underwhear care got some big old lips,
- 9:53Speaker 3: That's what cap got the loop for. You can fin
- 10:00Speaker 3: big old fat lips hanging out them cloudy beef curtains?
- 10:05Speaker 1: What kind of food he got?
- 10:10Speaker 3: His little beef curtains sticking up. You have a roast.
- 10:22Speaker 6: He switches so far.
- 10:23Speaker 1: As probably probably be.
- 10:32Speaker 4: To get back to Mexican food is amazing.
- 10:37Speaker 2: We were talking about this room was saying uh. He
- 10:42Speaker 2: was like, so food is number five of his favorite foods.
- 10:47Speaker 2: Is low on the total.
- 10:49Speaker 1: He was saying that, what's what? What's higher than so Food?
- 10:52Speaker 3: I think Mexican food is better?
- 10:57Speaker 6: Is it better or do you enjoy it better?
- 11:01Speaker 7: I think Mexican has more things that you could eat,
- 11:06Speaker 7: like on a day to day basis. SOL food is
- 11:07Speaker 7: like I like keeping soul food to holidays and big events,
- 11:11Speaker 7: but I can't be eaten once it's heavy. So I
- 11:15Speaker 7: think Italian Mexican. Yeah, I think I think you can.
- 11:22Speaker 7: I just prefer it that to SOL because I think
- 11:26Speaker 7: you can. I think you can do more stuff with
- 11:28Speaker 7: Like with soul food, there's like two plates, yeah you
- 11:32Speaker 7: know what I mean, Like there's two plates that you
- 11:33Speaker 7: could fill up and and and it's it's usually like, ah,
- 11:37Speaker 7: the same thing.
- 11:39Speaker 3: Just how good can you do it? You know, how
- 11:41Speaker 3: good can you do fried chicken, greens, mac and stuff
- 11:44Speaker 3: like that?
- 11:44Speaker 6: But how.
- 11:47Speaker 2: About I mean there's a lot more like Johnny Cakes
- 11:50Speaker 2: and Brunswick stew but it ain't stuff that most people make,
- 11:54Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying, most people got to.
- 11:56Speaker 4: We lose these recipes because all the Grandma's done and
- 11:58Speaker 4: these new bids don't know how to cook.
- 12:00Speaker 3: That man, when the last when the last.
- 12:03Speaker 4: Time you've seen a young chick on Instagram post some
- 12:06Speaker 4: smoke turkey legs and some beans.
- 12:07Speaker 1: I follow some how old.
- 12:10Speaker 2: I really follow people that are my age, and maybe
- 12:13Speaker 2: I don't really follow younger women, you know what I'm.
- 12:16Speaker 1: Saying, Like they be making.
- 12:19Speaker 6: Posting the bro they don't know how to like smother
- 12:22Speaker 6: no pork chops real.
- 12:23Speaker 1: Days, Like the women got old souls from a roue.
- 12:31Speaker 2: You said, well, I haven't seen some gravy made from
- 12:33Speaker 2: a route after you, you know, fried pork chop or
- 12:34Speaker 2: whatever you make the gravy.
- 12:35Speaker 7: Widow, I wouldn't worry about today's women because they still
- 12:39Speaker 7: got the big bombers.
- 12:40Speaker 3: It's like the generation after that gonna.
- 12:44Speaker 6: Start for show.
- 12:45Speaker 2: So your father are gonna be one of the ones.
- 12:47Speaker 2: She's one of the ones, for sure, she's gonna be
- 12:49Speaker 2: making and be like I want.
- 12:51Speaker 3: She don't really like.
- 12:52Speaker 6: Soulf she don't.
- 12:53Speaker 4: She's one of those people that I don't like when
- 12:55Speaker 4: her meat touches the bone.
- 12:57Speaker 6: So she don't like chickens. She don't like ribs.
- 13:00Speaker 1: I just don't like greens. Touching corn bread.
- 13:01Speaker 2: That's where I draw the lot soaking it in greens
- 13:05Speaker 2: juice be you swear you didn't get no juice.
- 13:07Speaker 3: It's seasoned good.
- 13:08Speaker 6: Though.
- 13:10Speaker 2: I don't like wet corn bread. I don't mind macaroni
- 13:13Speaker 2: and was made to touch.
- 13:17Speaker 5: What there was a sweet potato has the macaroni on top,
- 13:21Speaker 5: and they bacon.
- 13:22Speaker 3: It looked kind of good. I hate it looks kind
- 13:24Speaker 3: of good. Mac and cheese is a solo artist.
- 13:27Speaker 7: There's so many chefs that, oh the burgers that have
- 13:29Speaker 7: mac and cheese on it.
- 13:30Speaker 3: That's blowing up right now. Like I don't like.
- 13:33Speaker 7: I feel like it should be mac and cheese, and
- 13:35Speaker 7: the most you should do with it is like lobster
- 13:36Speaker 7: mac or like adding one thing I hate.
- 13:39Speaker 3: There's a brisket mac and cheese.
- 13:41Speaker 6: I do that? Do that? One of the stots we
- 13:48Speaker 6: went to on food show.
- 13:50Speaker 4: This dude had baked up here fried chicken and you
- 13:55Speaker 4: take a bite it had one of them had macaron i.
- 13:58Speaker 6: Didn't like that.
- 13:58Speaker 1: I look nasty macaroni cheese inside of a.
- 14:01Speaker 3: Wing wing.
- 14:04Speaker 1: Chicken. It was.
- 14:05Speaker 6: It was a stuffed chicken wing.
- 14:06Speaker 7: Well, now, soul food pop pie that I've been seeing,
- 14:09Speaker 7: that's the one thing I can It's like a chicken
- 14:12Speaker 7: pot pie, but like in it, it's like it's made
- 14:14Speaker 7: with corn bread on the outside, and there's like mac
- 14:16Speaker 7: and cheese and turkey and and.
- 14:19Speaker 1: What about you to hear where's soufu ring?
- 14:24Speaker 8: Mmm?
- 14:25Speaker 6: Maybe?
- 14:25Speaker 2: Third?
- 14:26Speaker 1: What's beating soul food?
- 14:29Speaker 3: Wasn't?
- 14:30Speaker 6: It's crazy?
- 14:31Speaker 4: I really do be liking Mexican food. I didn't realize
- 14:33Speaker 4: how much I did enjoy Mexican food.
- 14:35Speaker 1: But did you eat it before you moved.
- 14:36Speaker 6: To l A Taco Bell. That's what we had. I
- 14:42Speaker 6: don't need all that heavy breathing and ship in the hood.
- 14:45Speaker 5: We had Taco Bell, we had China, even Mexican food,
- 14:49Speaker 5: Mexicans in St.
- 14:50Speaker 7: Louis.
- 14:53Speaker 6: You know what I'm saying?
- 14:54Speaker 3: That makes sense?
- 14:55Speaker 4: Stuff I would probably go. I would probably go Mexican
- 15:00Speaker 4: Chinese food, and then soul food.
- 15:03Speaker 3: I like Chinese food. It's just too different restaurant to restaurant.
- 15:07Speaker 9: You know.
- 15:09Speaker 4: I like being a local as a regular places. So
- 15:13Speaker 4: when I find a good place, I usually just even.
- 15:15Speaker 5: Though sauces don't taste good, like you can go one
- 15:17Speaker 5: place that duck sauce or soy sauce or whatever you
- 15:20Speaker 5: do taste the same.
- 15:21Speaker 7: I admittedly like americanized places the most because when I
- 15:25Speaker 7: found out that stuff like the burrito or like orange chicken,
- 15:28Speaker 7: like all this, this is my favorite stuff at these
- 15:30Speaker 7: like other cuisines, that's all American like stuff that we grew.
- 15:34Speaker 3: Up eating American cuisines, like.
- 15:38Speaker 1: American remixesought orange chicken was Yeah, I.
- 15:43Speaker 3: Didn't really grow up American food.
- 15:44Speaker 5: Like my parents are immigrants, Mamani.
- 15:49Speaker 3: Like rice and peas, so.
- 15:55Speaker 5: We do like rice and beans.
- 15:57Speaker 3: And goat meat oxtown goat meat. Yeah, you open up
- 16:02Speaker 3: the freezer and see some goat my mom. Yeah, my
- 16:04Speaker 3: mom will make make fish.
- 16:06Speaker 5: Soup, cow foot soup. It's like a beef soup. Cow foot.
- 16:16Speaker 5: They call it cowfoot, but it is it has beef
- 16:20Speaker 5: in it, like cow.
- 16:21Speaker 3: That's when you make yeah, specific names, call it something.
- 16:25Speaker 6: Somebody else said.
- 16:27Speaker 3: Cap yeah.
- 16:32Speaker 5: For breakfast, I wasn't like I would eat like you know,
- 16:35Speaker 5: my father would eat like rice with eggs and planting,
- 16:38Speaker 5: or banadas with some eggs and sausages breakfast.
- 16:42Speaker 1: Yeah, undefeated.
- 16:45Speaker 5: That's my favorite thing to make. That's what I want
- 16:46Speaker 5: to make it. I want to have a bakery. I
- 16:47Speaker 5: could just make panada.
- 16:50Speaker 4: So as she got to go, she knew it will
- 16:55Speaker 4: would be to.
- 16:59Speaker 6: Go about the food.
- 17:04Speaker 1: That's a good world.
- 17:10Speaker 3: Nigga that across the ll C ST.
- 17:15Speaker 1: You gotta be like, is that a g I would put.
- 17:24Speaker 2: I said this up the other day to Jamaican food
- 17:28Speaker 2: is top tears.
- 17:29Speaker 4: It's my favorite food Jamaica. Jamaican food is jernk chicken
- 17:36Speaker 4: and it ox heils. I don't used to nothing else.
- 17:39Speaker 2: Okay, so I used to be like that too, right,
- 17:41Speaker 2: But my my Jamaican spot, I was one day that
- 17:44Speaker 2: was out of oxtail.
- 17:45Speaker 1: You know.
- 17:46Speaker 2: Usually I'd be like, I'm out. You ain't got the ox.
- 17:49Speaker 2: We know I've got. I got some brown stew chicken.
- 17:53Speaker 2: Just to sing, nigga.
- 17:56Speaker 3: That's like chicken like in Cuban food.
- 17:58Speaker 6: Yeah, kind of kind.
- 18:02Speaker 1: And low key. Cuban food is amazing. Well the Cuban sandwich, Cuban.
- 18:07Speaker 7: Sandwich, Cuban or did we do that because that's not
- 18:10Speaker 7: sandwiches Cuban.
- 18:11Speaker 5: I remember all those Caribbean cultures like we're all in
- 18:14Speaker 5: the same same yeah, so we just take out the
- 18:17Speaker 5: same ship.
- 18:18Speaker 7: Were just like, that's the Caribbean food over soul food actually.

- 18:35Speaker 1: is like.
- 18:36Speaker 3: And what's salt fish? I mean the type of fish.
- 18:38Speaker 3: I mean, is the type of fish I thought it
- 18:40Speaker 3: was prepared?
- 18:41Speaker 1: No, no, it's a white fish.
- 18:43Speaker 6: It's a white fish.
- 18:44Speaker 1: It's so cocky. What is hokey? It's not that yellow stuff?
- 18:48Speaker 9: Right?
- 18:49Speaker 1: Is the fruit?
- 18:49Speaker 2: Okay, it's a fruit like we make my phongo is like, yeah,
- 18:54Speaker 2: I had that in Puerto Rico.
- 18:57Speaker 5: It's called a different something like is called my phone.
- 19:00Speaker 5: I think Puerto Ricans call it, uh ship. They call
- 19:04Speaker 5: it something else but not more fun What they call
- 19:06Speaker 5: it somebody in the chat, somebody in the shot.
- 19:09Speaker 2: I think it's called because I know, yeah, it's call
- 19:13Speaker 2: them my funger because I had I went.
- 19:15Speaker 1: We went to Puerto Rico a couple of years ago,
- 19:17Speaker 1: and I hate it.
- 19:19Speaker 3: Like my mother makes up a man like I know
- 19:20Speaker 3: how to make it now.
- 19:21Speaker 2: It's yeah, my sister laws perto Rican and she makes
- 19:25Speaker 2: her Spanish rice. Bro it is so good. We eat
- 19:27Speaker 2: it with Thanksgiving and you like it. Don't go like
- 19:30Speaker 2: that rice. Don't go with Spanish rice.
- 19:32Speaker 3: Yeah, so my Thanksgivings are always different.
- 19:35Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying.
- 19:36Speaker 6: We can do right.
- 19:38Speaker 1: And in the bottom it's burned. It's like a bean.
- 19:43Speaker 5: Yeah, when it's still stuck to the pot.
- 19:46Speaker 3: What we call it hong kolong. It's like a stick
- 19:52Speaker 3: to the pot a little bit.
- 19:52Speaker 6: So it's like the burn on like youth.
- 19:57Speaker 2: When burn the bottom come kolong up man. Hawaiian food
- 20:02Speaker 2: is good, somebody said down on Patreon. I like Hawaiian
- 20:05Speaker 2: food too, but I don't know if I could eat.

- 20:10Speaker 1: Sam chick.
- 20:13Speaker 2: There's a lot of rice, and that's why a lot
- 20:15Speaker 2: of times, yeah, Sam moves to.
- 20:17Speaker 7: Be what's it called chick potato SALADOI.
- 20:23Speaker 6: Their food always has like a sweeter tas everything.
- 20:26Speaker 2: Well, I like fo to, but to pass point out,
- 20:31Speaker 2: I don't. I could go a month without without eating
- 20:34Speaker 2: a full souf. We might have fried chicken, we might
- 20:38Speaker 2: have macaroni.
- 20:39Speaker 7: Put that for breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day, like
- 20:42Speaker 7: I feel like there's ways to do that with Mexican.
- 20:43Speaker 7: There's ways to do that, because left Thanksgiving you'd be
- 20:47Speaker 7: like rice.
- 20:50Speaker 10: In the morning mother mother ports some grains.
- 21:02Speaker 3: That's a weird meal period.
- 21:03Speaker 6: But breakfast.
- 21:08Speaker 11: Wonder turkey, and you got your eggs and eggs.
- 21:13Speaker 1: Yams and rice. That's heavy dress.
- 21:24Speaker 6: Just to take it, dap.
- 21:27Speaker 3: You ain't got no microwave elementary to woe.
- 21:30Speaker 7: No, you gotta be cool with the teachers, be in
- 21:35Speaker 7: the lounge.
- 21:36Speaker 3: What's up, Susan?
- 21:45Speaker 1: All right?
- 21:45Speaker 2: Next topic we got to that are both interesting. Neither
- 21:49Speaker 2: is probably enough for a full segment, so we'll split
- 21:50Speaker 2: them in half.
- 21:51Speaker 4: Oh wait, that was a good one. Note which somebody
- 21:53Speaker 4: says its fishing grits breakfast, shrimping.
- 21:56Speaker 6: Grits, fishing grits.
- 21:58Speaker 1: I don't think I ever have fishing grits. Fish now.
- 22:01Speaker 2: You don't eat srimpen grits for breakfast. I usually eat
- 22:03Speaker 2: it for brunch. I never had for fishing grits. Cat
- 22:08Speaker 2: Fish and grits would be good. I have Cavin calf
- 22:12Speaker 2: fish and grits.
- 22:13Speaker 1: I was in St. Louis, Midwest. I was like this
- 22:15Speaker 1: saying a thing, but it is a thing. It's it's
- 22:18Speaker 1: fantastic too, Like spaghetti.
- 22:20Speaker 2: Niggas eat more spaghetti than Italian people like y'all don't
- 22:23Speaker 2: know about spagetti for I know y'all made it, but
- 22:25Speaker 2: we perfected.
- 22:27Speaker 7: Part of spaghetti is just like it sucked as a kid,
- 22:30Speaker 7: but like as an adult.
- 22:33Speaker 3: I remember when dudes be like, come over, I'm gona
- 22:35Speaker 3: cook for you.
- 22:36Speaker 6: No spaghetti Niggas.
- 22:39Speaker 3: Be bold, bro, I would never.
- 22:41Speaker 1: What do you cook? Or do you not cook for women?
- 22:44Speaker 6: Do you respect?
- 22:46Speaker 1: You don't respect?
- 22:47Speaker 3: It's like Postmates.
- 22:52Speaker 1: What shows your skills off?
- 22:56Speaker 7: I've made I've made the classic niggas stuff for tacos salmon.
- 23:02Speaker 7: I think the craziest thing was like crab salad or
- 23:05Speaker 7: something crab salad.
- 23:07Speaker 1: So she told somebody about that.
- 23:09Speaker 7: Hell yeah, making it a crab salad. Inherited that recipe
- 23:17Speaker 7: for my auntie homemade crab. Yeah, it's like auntie recipe too.
- 23:23Speaker 2: With Melissa, this is so stupid. I call myself making breakfast,
- 23:27Speaker 2: called myself. I made her waffles, pancakes, what toast?
- 23:34Speaker 3: Why all these.
- 23:35Speaker 2: Breaking bacon and eggs? And she got to tell what
- 23:38Speaker 2: she was like, there's a lot of bread.
- 23:43Speaker 3: Did you say waffles? Pancakes and toast.
- 23:46Speaker 6: But did you not know what she would want?
- 23:48Speaker 3: Two bread items and bread, that's your side bread. Here's
- 23:53Speaker 3: bread with a side of bread, and then beer.
- 24:03Speaker 2: Ever bacon and eggs and three bread And she literally
- 24:07Speaker 2: was like, man, I probably you could just probably did
- 24:08Speaker 2: one of these. The most confusing thing is she said,
- 24:13Speaker 2: why would you make waffles and pancakes?
- 24:15Speaker 5: That was what they were. They were a waffle maker.
- 24:19Speaker 3: Is that how your breakfast when you were alone?
- 24:22Speaker 4: He's like you playing guys.
- 24:32Speaker 3: I never noticed the difference. Didn't know that's a troll.
- 24:41Speaker 6: That's where the pigsies.
- 24:42Speaker 1: I don't want to.
- 24:48Speaker 6: That's what you invited.
- 24:49Speaker 3: Listen. Just just know how much.
- 24:55Speaker 6: Like listen, you.
- 25:03Speaker 3: Can have your farmer's calling.
- 25:04Speaker 12: You're supposed to go we we we all the right
- 25:10Speaker 12: home farmers said you should have let people know you're
- 25:13Speaker 12: having company.
- 25:17Speaker 3: Tell him after traffic, so you just let everything out
- 25:28Speaker 3: of planes and was like, I just throw the plane
- 25:31Speaker 3: in there to plan plan like Parsley and stuff on
- 25:48Speaker 3: it designs him come up only to take a shot
- 25:54Speaker 3: of sirp it's in a glass. He looks up.
- 26:00Speaker 8: Melissa is gone, Well, where's the troll? Bat in the
- 26:13Speaker 8: living rooms.
- 26:14Speaker 6: On the window.
- 26:15Speaker 3: S ship's out back.
- 26:20Speaker 1: Going crazy, Keep him coming back tender.
- 26:25Speaker 3: There's two candles about the trunk sides over there.
- 26:30Speaker 6: This is worm just chills and the refrigerator takes it down.
- 26:34Speaker 6: Oh yeah, this is the one.
- 26:40Speaker 1: Trunk.
- 26:41Speaker 3: This is before it.
- 26:41Speaker 6: Became this old birl.
- 26:43Speaker 1: This is a vintage on Jemimah original package, before just became.
- 26:48Speaker 3: Two white glasses.
- 27:13Speaker 6: I'm doing.
- 27:20Speaker 3: I'm not con laugh anymore.
- 27:22Speaker 8: My head hurts.
- 27:25Speaker 3: Pancakes and I didn't make her breakfast for like three
- 27:28Speaker 3: years after that.
- 27:28Speaker 1: I was so embarrassed because I wanted it to be good.
- 27:31Speaker 1: I wanted her to do that like buffet right, like
- 27:34Speaker 1: all of the break with the town. I didn't even
- 27:37Speaker 1: cross my mind. It's weird until she brought it up.
- 27:39Speaker 2: I was like, I was like, I to defend myself.
- 27:44Speaker 2: I was like, first of all, it's not the same
- 27:47Speaker 2: jelly goes on the toast, so even like the pancakes,
- 27:51Speaker 2: I'll give you that, but they got different texts.
- 27:54Speaker 3: I'm you're this close to doing French toast, that's all three.
- 27:59Speaker 1: Three is too hard to make bread.
- 28:04Speaker 6: That is mid.
- 28:05Speaker 3: French toast is mid.
- 28:07Speaker 2: One of those things that is done right. It is
- 28:09Speaker 2: the best amazing. It is so often not done amazing French.
- 28:13Speaker 2: I don't because when it's a bad pancake, it's only
- 28:16Speaker 2: so bad.
- 28:17Speaker 6: It can best be really bad pancakes.
- 28:20Speaker 1: I think the worst French toast you have is way
- 28:22Speaker 1: worse than the worst pancake you waffle.
- 28:24Speaker 3: I feel like it's top tier.
- 28:25Speaker 7: A good waffle is better than a good good French
- 28:28Speaker 7: toast and a good pancake. A bad pancake like the
- 28:30Speaker 7: limp wet ones, those are trash. But French toast is
- 28:33Speaker 7: just even when it's at its best, I don't know,
- 28:37Speaker 7: it's got.
- 28:39Speaker 3: So if it's done right, a French toast is fantastic.
- 28:42Speaker 1: Yeah, that's got excited.
- 28:53Speaker 2: There's a restaurant in San Francisco called Mama's I believe,
- 28:59Speaker 2: and they make Nigga.
- 29:01Speaker 1: It's a French toast sandwich Monty Cristo.
- 29:04Speaker 4: That was amazing in the middle and cheese and then
- 29:10Speaker 4: they sprinkled the white uh with the powder powdered sugar.
- 29:14Speaker 13: That was real.
- 29:15Speaker 1: It's so good. But I've had so many bad French toasters.
- 29:18Speaker 3: It's bad.
- 29:19Speaker 1: Texas toast be good.
- 29:20Speaker 7: To Brio changed the bread game, Like, is this a
- 29:25Speaker 7: new bread that came out like ten years in the game.
- 29:28Speaker 3: By now it can't.
- 29:30Speaker 1: It's been around, but it's it's it's been more popular
- 29:32Speaker 1: the last ten years.
- 29:34Speaker 2: Makes regular sandwich stuff on Brios bread feel like the
- 29:37Speaker 2: sandwich is better.
- 29:38Speaker 1: Croissants make a good sandwich.
- 29:41Speaker 3: Kings Hawaiian like a good like a good ham and turkey.
- 29:44Speaker 3: I mean, any sandwiches you should choose over whatever else.
- 29:50Speaker 3: B l t on a croissant.
- 29:52Speaker 6: I love it.
- 29:55Speaker 3: Salad chicken.
- 29:59Speaker 1: Meat for sandwich.
- 30:00Speaker 2: Crazy bacon in a standout an extra bacon, extra bacon.
- 30:06Speaker 1: I don't like tomatoes either either, so bacon is not strong.
- 30:09Speaker 3: I had a bot recently. It was like a bacon sandwich.
- 30:12Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 30:12Speaker 3: I feel that it should be like with like.
- 30:15Speaker 7: Bacon and a burger, bacon and turkey, bacon and chicken.
- 30:18Speaker 6: Doing it right. You gotta get that. I like Mayo,
- 30:23Speaker 6: Hold on, hit you out put that bacon on the
- 30:26Speaker 6: slice of cheese. Did Li cut tomato? Slice of cheese?
- 30:31Speaker 6: More bacon, Mayo?
- 30:32Speaker 1: How much bacon was putting on?
- 30:34Speaker 6: Don't worry about that, you just put on slices.
- 30:38Speaker 3: I was basically eating bacon with toast cheese. You know
- 30:41Speaker 3: there's cheese on your belt. Yeah, cheese on.
- 30:44Speaker 1: BLCT is what you wanted to be.
- 30:49Speaker 6: If you're paying, they're gonna do whatever they asked you.
- 30:51Speaker 1: As my son loved. Melissa makes be all the time.
- 30:55Speaker 3: And I've never made one by myself ever, and that's good.
- 30:58Speaker 1: You shouldn't have to.
- 31:00Speaker 7: That's a If I make bacon, I probably just eat
- 31:02Speaker 7: it right after it comes out of the school day Bacon.
- 31:05Speaker 1: There's a restaurant in the South.
- 31:06Speaker 2: I can't remember what it's called, but they have something
- 31:08Speaker 2: called million Millionaire Bacon or million dollar Bacon, and it's
- 31:11Speaker 2: like bacon thick thick cup bacon bacon, and they like
- 31:15Speaker 2: cover it in pancakes syrup and then they bring it
- 31:18Speaker 2: to you and just be like a pancakes.
- 31:21Speaker 3: It's just bacon with syrup.
- 31:22Speaker 6: Bacon. Make bandy millionnare bacon.
- 31:32Speaker 1: I wonder if you.
- 31:33Speaker 5: Take bacon they dip it into like like the pot
- 31:37Speaker 5: like a pancake mix and then fry.
- 31:40Speaker 3: It and you never have pancake bacon.
- 31:43Speaker 1: I've never heard of this.
- 31:44Speaker 2: I thought I made.
- 31:45Speaker 6: I thought I just made.
- 31:46Speaker 1: There's a song.
- 31:48Speaker 7: On Adventure Time making pancakes bacon bacon pancakes, and.
- 31:51Speaker 3: They made it a thing.
- 31:52Speaker 13: You.
- 31:52Speaker 7: Basically you cook the bacon first, yeah, and then you
- 31:55Speaker 7: pour the the like the pancake.
- 31:57Speaker 3: Sauce around it, and then you flip it and.
- 31:58Speaker 7: It's basically like a drip the batter you talk about battery, Yeah,
- 32:04Speaker 7: and it's basically like a pancake in a bake in bacon.
- 32:07Speaker 1: Nothing new under the sun, lou Damn. I was gonna
- 32:10Speaker 1: sell that the Texas Fair.
- 32:12Speaker 3: M But it's also uh pancakes and and waffles that
- 32:16Speaker 3: they just put bacon.
- 32:17Speaker 7: In the mix and they'll give you the whole thing
- 32:19Speaker 7: with the bacon in it, sweet and salty.
- 32:22Speaker 3: You could ruin that though.
- 32:23Speaker 7: I had one that just had one strip of bacon
- 32:24Speaker 7: and the rest of the waffle was regular, so it
- 32:27Speaker 7: just looked like a waffle that had like a bacon
- 32:29Speaker 7: tips coming out of it. So lazy.
- 32:33Speaker 6: Now I want the bacon dipped.
- 32:34Speaker 2: In is where it's at. Pick your poison before we
- 32:40Speaker 2: go pretend. Pretend you're a cat and give a stranger
- 32:47Speaker 2: a tongue bath once a year. Or forget your significant
- 32:50Speaker 2: other's birthday every year.
- 32:51Speaker 3: This Wizard's particulous.
- 32:53Speaker 1: Significant other is someone you love and spend a lot
- 32:55Speaker 1: of time with.
- 32:57Speaker 3: Forget Forget that.
- 33:00Speaker 11: Forget their birthday, say the birthday, forget that, but think
- 33:03Speaker 11: about it, I don't want to who you are.
- 33:08Speaker 7: After three years, they're gonna be like, oh, this is
- 33:10Speaker 7: the thing. You know, You're probably just gonna have to
- 33:12Speaker 7: rough it out a few years. You gotta lick a
- 33:14Speaker 7: nigga down every year.
- 33:17Speaker 1: Wait, you don't have to be a man.
- 33:21Speaker 3: Oh No, when I said nigga for me, is it's interchangeable?
- 33:28Speaker 13: God? Yeah?
- 33:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 33:30Speaker 3: Anyway, I mean I'm not even trying. I don't want
- 33:32Speaker 3: to lick nobody down. But I feel like forgetting somebody
- 33:35Speaker 3: you might get some ship.
- 33:36Speaker 5: No, because you know why that he like when it's
- 33:38Speaker 5: when it's like he's gonna forget my birth I forget
- 33:40Speaker 5: their birthday, right, You forget their birthday every year, so
- 33:42Speaker 5: the funk around, he.
- 33:43Speaker 3: Gonna forget mine, and then I don't get shipped. I
- 33:45Speaker 3: don't like that.
- 33:46Speaker 6: Well, get the present.
- 33:49Speaker 3: Here's the loophole, be like, I'm a belated birthday type
- 33:53Speaker 3: of person.
- 33:54Speaker 7: So you forget every year, but the next day you
- 33:56Speaker 7: always have something fire players and then you don't lick nobody.
- 34:02Speaker 1: Except thishole.
- 34:04Speaker 3: I like that. I'm going with that loo hole.
- 34:05Speaker 1: I would look the stranger though I couldn't. You would,
- 34:07Speaker 1: I would?
- 34:08Speaker 11: You know what youbody's loub what strangers you look here?
- 34:11Speaker 11: You gotta you gotta clean their buttons. It's cap coming
- 34:14Speaker 11: from all the way all their whole body. That means armpits.
- 34:19Speaker 6: But don't watch.
- 34:23Speaker 3: Belly button, the belly button.
- 34:25Speaker 1: But but I got to go to Melissa every year
- 34:27Speaker 1: and forget her birthday.
- 34:28Speaker 3: But the next day you could like live it up.
- 34:30Speaker 1: She gonna be mad.
- 34:31Speaker 7: You rather go to her every year smelling like another
- 34:35Speaker 7: woman or man all in your face.
- 34:37Speaker 6: Your mouth might be all over you because what.
- 34:41Speaker 3: If they sweat on you? So one night of you
- 34:43Speaker 3: you turn into a cat. And then no, it says,
- 34:45Speaker 3: pretend you a cat.
- 34:46Speaker 6: Pretending So you guys, you're.

- 35:01Speaker 7: they're like start with defeat this year.
- 35:04Speaker 1: Hey man, get it.
- 35:05Speaker 6: Out of the way.

- 35:29Speaker 5: Because if you pull off a great joint the next day,
- 35:32Speaker 5: she gonna forget about that you forgot yesterday.

- 35:39Speaker 6: Birth They and friendships off a missing birth and nothing.
- 35:43Speaker 2: Gonna hit the same when you don't forgot it's all

- 35:48Speaker 1: It's the thought that counts. And you completely forget their
- 35:51Speaker 1: birthday and you try to scramble.
- 35:53Speaker 3: They dance out to you, like, what's up?

- 36:15Speaker 3: Yeah, I gotta shoot.
- 36:18Speaker 6: That way way.
- 36:18Speaker 4: Wait, here's the thing, because here's the thing. It's really
- 36:20Speaker 4: hard to forget somebody's day all day, especially your significant other.
