- 0:01Speaker 1: To bless us this first day of the month of March.
- 0:05Speaker 2: We have god Children's servants in our midst God that's
- 0:10Speaker 2: ordaining for a moment like this to bless alive.
- 0:14Speaker 1: All the way from Abuja.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Helm me welcome God's servant, Apostle Joshua Selman, to bless
- 0:23Speaker 2: our lives. Go ahead and celebreth the grace of God
- 0:26Speaker 2: upon this life. Go ahead, go ahead, send it bred
- 0:30Speaker 2: the grace of God upon his life.
- 0:31Speaker 1: Go ahead.
- 0:38Speaker 3: Allelujah, Good evening, everybody. Let me start by communicating my
- 0:44Speaker 3: honor and greetings to His Excellency the Governor and her excellency.
- 0:49Speaker 3: Thank you so much, and all protocols duly observed. I
- 0:53Speaker 3: bless the Lord for this privilege, and I trust that
- 0:57Speaker 3: the moments that we have to share would be most profitable.
- 1:00Speaker 3: In Jesus name, shall we pray, Father, thank you, Thank
- 1:04Speaker 3: you for your grace. The Bible declares that the entrance
- 1:08Speaker 3: of your world give it light and even understanding to
- 1:11Speaker 3: the symbol.
- 1:12Speaker 1: We have come to learn. We have come.
- 1:15Speaker 3: To increase in knowledge, and I pray that you will
- 1:20Speaker 3: grant us access to the truths of the kingdom and
- 1:23Speaker 3: let our lives show In the name of Jesus.
- 1:27Speaker 1: We pray, Oh God, that whilst you do.
- 1:29Speaker 3: This, you will continually lift this state, that acquaibum will
- 1:34Speaker 3: become a sign and a wonder in this nation and
- 1:38Speaker 3: even to the nations of the earth, that you are
- 1:40Speaker 3: people that have been marvelously helped of God.
- 1:44Speaker 1: In Jesus' name, I pray.
- 1:48Speaker 3: I must take a minute or two to sincerely.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Commend this entire prayer project. I was very humbled when
- 1:56Speaker 1: I got to.
- 1:57Speaker 3: Find out that this is a sacrifice that without tale,
- 2:00Speaker 3: happens in this state. It is not something to just
- 2:05Speaker 3: sweep under the carpet. The Bible is very intentional about
- 2:10Speaker 3: what happens to a people and leaders who are very
- 2:14Speaker 3: vocal about God. In fact, the Bible says this about Whosiah.
- 2:18Speaker 3: He said that for as long as he solved the Lord,
- 2:22Speaker 3: the Lord made him to prosper.
- 2:24Speaker 1: Allelujah.
- 2:26Speaker 3: So I truly want to commend this excellency for the courage.
- 2:29Speaker 3: I believe it takes a lot of that to see
- 2:33Speaker 3: to it that this project continues to happen and sad
- 2:36Speaker 3: the Lord honor you and also appreciate all who have
- 2:39Speaker 3: stood by him on this wise.
- 2:42Speaker 1: In the name of Jesus.
- 2:44Speaker 3: I'm teaching very briefly on the subject of prevailing prayer.
- 2:50Speaker 1: I believe that.
- 2:53Speaker 3: Prayer has to be taught for believers to effectively pray.
- 2:58Speaker 3: We are a people of prayer. We are a nation
- 3:01Speaker 3: of prayer. Africa is a continent of prayer. But I
- 3:05Speaker 3: submit to you that with reference to the intelligence that
- 3:09Speaker 3: Scripture provides, most people have not been able to contend
- 3:13Speaker 3: for the kind of prayer that produces results. We see
- 3:18Speaker 3: this in the life of the disciples. There were first
- 3:21Speaker 3: disciples of John before a number of them became the
- 3:25Speaker 3: disciples of Jesus. And they noticed that there was a
- 3:29Speaker 3: way and a manner that Jesus prayed that made him
- 3:33Speaker 3: to have results. And so in their frustration they opened
- 3:36Speaker 3: up to him and they said, teach us to pray.
- 3:39Speaker 1: You find that in Luke chapter eleven, from verse one, teach.
- 3:43Speaker 3: Us to pray. This was not an issue of prayerlessness.
- 3:49Speaker 3: This was an issue of unprofitable, resultless prayer. They were
- 3:54Speaker 3: not prayer less people. They noticed that there was a
- 3:57Speaker 3: way they approached prayer that didn't produce results, and so
- 4:01Speaker 3: they beckoned on Jesus and said, teachers to pray. Like John,
- 4:06Speaker 3: also taught his disciples Allelujah, so prayer can be taught.
- 4:11Speaker 1: The consolation for the believer in.
- 4:13Speaker 3: Prayer is that you are confident that in prayer you
- 4:18Speaker 3: will receive and not just that you receive body to
- 4:21Speaker 3: be made manifest.
- 4:23Speaker 1: It is my considered opinion that no.
- 4:25Speaker 3: Believer will truly become and remain prayer less if you
- 4:30Speaker 3: know how to get results in prayer, because nobody leaves
- 4:33Speaker 3: what works.
- 4:34Speaker 1: Is that true?
- 4:36Speaker 3: The prayerlessness of many believers is an attestation to the
- 4:39Speaker 3: frustration that many have received in an attempt to communicate
- 4:44Speaker 3: with this God who has communicated.
- 4:48Speaker 1: His love and his desire to reach down to people.
- 4:51Speaker 3: We pray using all kinds of formulas, and sadly, for
- 4:54Speaker 3: many believers, it's becoming a ritual that does not have
- 4:58Speaker 3: any potency any results. So my assignment within the moments
- 5:04Speaker 3: that we have is for us to look deeper from
- 5:08Speaker 3: God's world to help construct our understanding about the kind
- 5:12Speaker 3: of prayer that works away Together. For reference, let's look
- 5:16Speaker 3: at James chapter five. I'll begin my reading from verse
- 5:19Speaker 3: thirteen and then will end at eighteen. James chapter five,
- 5:26Speaker 3: he said, it's any among you afflicted, let him pray
- 5:31Speaker 3: so upfront the Bible, the scriptural recommendation for affliction is prayer.
- 5:37Speaker 3: That every time you find out that things are going
- 5:41Speaker 3: in your life as it shouldn't be, the biblical recommendation
- 5:46Speaker 3: to manage that situation is to pray. Is any one
- 5:50Speaker 3: of you afflicted, the Bible says, let him pray, is
- 5:54Speaker 3: any Mary?
- 5:55Speaker 1: Let him sing Psalms to eighteen.
- 5:57Speaker 3: Now he says, it's any sick among you, Let him
- 5:59Speaker 3: call or the elders of the church, and let them
- 6:02Speaker 3: pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name
- 6:05Speaker 3: of the Lord. Then it says, the prayer of faith
- 6:08Speaker 3: shall save the sick. So prayer can save you. See
- 6:12Speaker 3: the character of prayer demonstrated here. Prayer is not an
- 6:16Speaker 3: empty spiritual exercise. It sustains the power to save, in
- 6:21Speaker 3: this case the sick. But it is not only the
- 6:23Speaker 3: sick that prayer saves. Prayer has the character of salvation.
- 6:27Speaker 3: Are we together, he says, And if he had committed
- 6:31Speaker 3: any sins, they shall be forgiven him.
- 6:34Speaker 1: I plead that we read verse sixteen together. If you
- 6:37Speaker 1: can see ready.
- 6:39Speaker 3: It says, confess your faults one to another, and pray
- 6:43Speaker 3: for one another, that ye may be healed.
- 6:46Speaker 1: Now my point of emphasis one to read.
- 6:49Speaker 3: The effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man a vailed much.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Let's just pause here for a moment. He's giving us
- 6:58Speaker 1: a very interesting information.
- 7:02Speaker 3: Number one, that whoever praised this prayer has to be
- 7:05Speaker 3: a righteous man. And then it says, the effectual and
- 7:12Speaker 3: fervent prayer of a righteous man have failed much in
- 7:19Speaker 3: terms of its delivery, in terms of the result.
- 7:22Speaker 1: That it produces.
- 7:24Speaker 3: Now, you see, the character of scripture is that every
- 7:26Speaker 3: time God presents a thought, he does not leave you
- 7:30Speaker 3: in confusion as to the dynamics of the idea he's presenting. Usually,
- 7:36Speaker 3: he will look for an individual in scripture who personifies
- 7:40Speaker 3: his idea and force you to understanding that individual to
- 7:44Speaker 3: become the reference for understanding that thought.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Are we together?
- 7:48Speaker 3: So if he's teaching you on prayer, just leaving you
- 7:51Speaker 3: in the dark as to this might not bring thorough understanding.
- 7:55Speaker 3: The next verse, now is God portracing on the point,
- 7:59Speaker 3: and he uses is an individual to personify his idea,
- 8:03Speaker 3: in this case Elijah. That means Elijah is the personification
- 8:09Speaker 3: of all that has been said. Now, if you study
- 8:12Speaker 3: Elijah and the character of his approach to prayer, you
- 8:15Speaker 3: would learn something from it that will make your prayer effectual.
- 8:20Speaker 1: It's God helping us already, he says.
- 8:22Speaker 3: Elijah was a man subject to like passions as we are,
- 8:28Speaker 3: so he already takes away any superstition around Elijah. He's
- 8:32Speaker 3: telling you that Elijah was framed with the limitation that
- 8:37Speaker 3: comes with the fallen man.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Nothing spectacular to him, he says.
- 8:41Speaker 3: And then the Bible says, yet he accessed his secret
- 8:44Speaker 3: and he prayed endlessly that it might not rain, and
- 8:49Speaker 3: it rained not on the earth by the space of three.
- 8:54Speaker 1: Years and six months. What a man. So the power
- 8:58Speaker 1: of that result was not not.
- 9:00Speaker 3: Necessarily the man, but an understanding he had. He approached
- 9:04Speaker 3: prayer in a way that produced a global results. This
- 9:08Speaker 3: is what the Bible is saying, not just a state result,
- 9:11Speaker 3: not just a regional result.
- 9:13Speaker 1: That one man, from one point.
- 9:15Speaker 3: Accessed his secret in prayer, and he engaged that secret,
- 9:20Speaker 3: and the whole earth was affected by the quality of
- 9:24Speaker 3: his understanding about prayer.
- 9:26Speaker 1: Next verse, the Bible says, he prayed again. Please say
- 9:30Speaker 1: after me. Again again means mastery.
- 9:34Speaker 3: Again means you are not trying to lend the principles
- 9:37Speaker 3: you have held it anything you cannot.
- 9:40Speaker 1: Reproduce again and again you have not gained mastery.
- 9:44Speaker 3: And you see the idea of God in building the
- 9:47Speaker 3: Saints is to bring us to a point where we
- 9:50Speaker 3: gain mastery over the things of the kingdom. It was
- 9:53Speaker 3: Paul who was speaking to his son in the Gospel Timothy.
- 9:56Speaker 3: He says, he that strives from mastery is not crowned.
- 10:00Speaker 3: Accept his strifes lawfully. It is not God's desire for
- 10:07Speaker 3: us to continue to shadow box over spiritual principles in
- 10:11Speaker 3: hope that one will work.
- 10:13Speaker 1: God wants us to gain thorough understanding.
- 10:16Speaker 3: And by the way, may I tell you sincerely from
- 10:18Speaker 3: the world of God, that you can gain mastery in
- 10:21Speaker 3: handling the truths of the Kingdom. With the mastery of
- 10:25Speaker 3: a chef, with the mastery of a consultant, with the
- 10:28Speaker 3: mastery of an architect. You can hold on to distruths
- 10:32Speaker 3: of the Kingdom, and they can become predictable in your life.
- 10:37Speaker 3: He prayed again, meaning he was not in confusion as
- 10:41Speaker 3: to what he did the first time. He prayed again,
- 10:45Speaker 3: and the Bible says, and the heaven gave rain, and
- 10:48Speaker 3: the hearth brought forth her foot back to our context,
- 10:53Speaker 3: the phavan and effectual prayer of a righteous man are
- 10:58Speaker 3: rerelate much seen in the life of Elijah, who prayed
- 11:03Speaker 3: and the heavens were shot over a territory, and he
- 11:06Speaker 3: prayed a gay and the heavens were open praise the
- 11:10Speaker 3: name of the Lord. In Luke chapter eleven, we looked
- 11:14Speaker 3: at that a few minutes ago from verse one, and
- 11:18Speaker 3: it is to verse ten. I may not have the
- 11:20Speaker 3: time to talk in details, but now verse one this
- 11:24Speaker 3: is the disciples were asking Jesus.
- 11:27Speaker 1: To teach them to pray.
- 11:29Speaker 3: Then he began his discourse on the subject of prayer.
- 11:32Speaker 3: We may not touch this, but let me just read.
- 11:34Speaker 3: We're reading verse two.
- 11:35Speaker 1: End at ten. Verse two he said, unto them, when
- 11:40Speaker 1: you pray, say.
- 11:42Speaker 3: Now, I may just maybe make a comment or to
- 11:45Speaker 3: ards we passed, but my focus is really Verse nine
- 11:48Speaker 3: to ten, he says, when you pray, this should be
- 11:51Speaker 3: your understanding. It was not just about reciting this like
- 11:56Speaker 3: a chance.
- 11:57Speaker 1: There was an understanding behind it.
- 11:59Speaker 3: He says, when you approach God, you must approach him
- 12:02Speaker 3: as father.
- 12:04Speaker 1: The word father is from the word appa.
- 12:07Speaker 3: It means your source, your sustainer, your protector, your defender.
- 12:11Speaker 1: You do not approach God as though they were an alternity.
- 12:15Speaker 1: He's said, this must be your construct as you approach
- 12:18Speaker 1: him in prayer.
- 12:19Speaker 3: For as long as you have an alternative, you cannot
- 12:22Speaker 3: secure God's participation. His jealousy will not allow you to
- 12:26Speaker 3: put him alongside any.
- 12:28Speaker 1: Other thing our father. Number two he said, which as
- 12:32Speaker 1: in heaven.
- 12:33Speaker 3: That means it will require faith in prayer because he's
- 12:36Speaker 3: in a rem that is not physical.
- 12:38Speaker 1: Are you getting the idea now?
- 12:39Speaker 3: He's telling you that this father you are dealing with
- 12:42Speaker 3: he recites in a rem and a dimension that will
- 12:45Speaker 3: require an agency to connect with him.
- 12:48Speaker 1: This is where faith comes in. Number three, he said,
- 12:51Speaker 1: hall Lord be your name. That means approaching with the
- 12:54Speaker 1: spirit of reference.
- 12:55Speaker 3: Do not allow the confidence you have based on the
- 12:58Speaker 3: access he's giving Christ to sponsor this honor. He is
- 13:02Speaker 3: still God even though he's your father. So you approach
- 13:06Speaker 3: him with the spirit of reverence. Hallowed be your Name.
- 13:09Speaker 3: Then next sentence is that Kingdom come. It means in
- 13:14Speaker 3: order of priority, the context of your prayer should be
- 13:17Speaker 3: that his governing authority be super imposed in your life
- 13:22Speaker 3: and your territory. Do you know why, because most of
- 13:25Speaker 3: what you will be asking else as symptoms of a
- 13:28Speaker 3: principal deficiency. That his kingdom has not yet come. That's
- 13:32Speaker 3: why you even have to pray for daily bread. That
- 13:34Speaker 3: in order of priority. If his kingdom meaning his culture,
- 13:39Speaker 3: his life, his atmosphere, the kingdom of God represents and
- 13:43Speaker 3: is fair where his values are respected. That if his
- 13:46Speaker 3: values are respected within, that's fair. There are many other
- 13:49Speaker 3: prayers you would not need to pray again. Many other
- 13:52Speaker 3: prayer points are there are subsets of a principal deficiency.
- 13:59Speaker 3: So in as much as his benevolent enough to respond
- 14:02Speaker 3: to those smaller requests, his ultimate desire is that his
- 14:06Speaker 3: kingdom would come. And he tells you how his kingdom
- 14:10Speaker 3: comes by his will being done. That every where the
- 14:14Speaker 3: will of the Father is allowed to find expression, his
- 14:17Speaker 3: kingdom comes. So to ask his kingdom to come means
- 14:23Speaker 3: to allow to permit.
- 14:25Speaker 1: His will to be done.
- 14:27Speaker 3: What is his will? His will represents his intent for you.
- 14:31Speaker 3: And the Bible is already declared that God is a
- 14:33Speaker 3: good God. He does not think evil of us. I
- 14:36Speaker 3: know the thoughts that I think.
- 14:37Speaker 1: Towards you Jereman twenty nine and verse eleven.
- 14:40Speaker 3: Thoughts of peace and not of evil, to bring you
- 14:44Speaker 3: a future and.
- 14:45Speaker 1: An expected end.
- 14:46Speaker 3: By that understanding, it sponsors our confidence in asking for
- 14:51Speaker 3: his will, because our interest is captured in his will.
- 14:54Speaker 3: When we are afraid to ask for the will of
- 14:56Speaker 3: God is proof we don't trust him.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Are will learning.
- 15:02Speaker 3: That your will be done in Eth? Notice he never
- 15:06Speaker 3: said let it be done on earth. He says in earth,
- 15:10Speaker 3: that frest, Earth, being you the earthen vessel.
- 15:14Speaker 1: So the will of God be done in this earth.
- 15:17Speaker 3: And then my territory, not just Eth, like the territory you,
- 15:22Speaker 3: the earth, the earthen vessel.
- 15:25Speaker 1: That's three. He says, Give us this day our daily bread.
- 15:31Speaker 3: This is a revelation of the character of God that,
- 15:34Speaker 3: in his benevolence, he's so meticulous he pays attention to
- 15:38Speaker 3: you a day. Give us this day. He knows that
- 15:44Speaker 3: supplies must be consistent.
- 15:47Speaker 1: Give us this day.
- 15:48Speaker 3: Our daily bread. Do you know what this means? I
- 15:52Speaker 3: wish I had the time. Daily bread does not just
- 15:55Speaker 3: mean food. Bread means every provision that means for your survive.
- 16:01Speaker 3: So daily bread can mean the connections that will keep
- 16:04Speaker 3: you moving. It does not always mean food. Bread as
- 16:08Speaker 3: the character of keeping you alive. So in this prayer,
- 16:12Speaker 3: you are saying, Lord you have given me a blank day,
- 16:15Speaker 3: and you are the only one who knows what it
- 16:17Speaker 3: takes for this day to be fruitful.
- 16:19Speaker 1: So give me my daily bread.
- 16:21Speaker 3: Means who ord need to be within my rich all
- 16:24Speaker 3: that it will take for my efficiency.
- 16:26Speaker 1: This is prayer.
- 16:27Speaker 3: Now next verse, forgive us our sins, and he leaves
- 16:34Speaker 3: you with an understanding, for we also forgive everyone that
- 16:39Speaker 3: is indebted to us. You know what this means. It
- 16:41Speaker 3: means that for as long as you are alive on
- 16:44Speaker 3: a daily basis, there will always.
- 16:46Speaker 1: Be someone hunting you.
- 16:48Speaker 3: And it says that while you obtain forgiveness, let the
- 16:51Speaker 3: forgiveness of Christ towards you always be a reminder that,
- 16:55Speaker 3: like He has done so for you, you must leave
- 16:57Speaker 3: a space in your heart to reach out to people.
- 17:01Speaker 1: Next verse, are we still together? Media? Verse six?
- 17:07Speaker 3: Okay, no verse five. Now he said unto them, which
- 17:11Speaker 3: of you shall have a friend? Now you see the.
- 17:16Speaker 1: Character of scripture again.
- 17:17Speaker 3: He's taught something on prayer, but he now wants to
- 17:21Speaker 3: personify that idea in a story.
- 17:25Speaker 1: The story is my point of emphasis.
- 17:29Speaker 3: He said onto them, which of you shall have a friend,
- 17:33Speaker 3: And shall go to him by midnight and say to
- 17:37Speaker 3: him friend lend me three loaves verse six. For a
- 17:42Speaker 3: friend of mine in his journey is come to me,
- 17:46Speaker 3: and I have nothing to say before him, And he
- 17:50Speaker 3: from within shall answer and say, trouble me not. The
- 17:54Speaker 3: door is now shut, and my children are with me
- 17:58Speaker 3: in bed. I cannot rise, And guilty understand the context.
- 18:02Speaker 3: Someone outside is about to be embarrassed. Shame and reproach
- 18:06Speaker 3: seems imminent on someone who is outside and he's beckoning
- 18:10Speaker 3: on help. You can see that it takes humility to pray,
- 18:14Speaker 3: because prayer demands that you come into a point where
- 18:17Speaker 3: you know that.
- 18:18Speaker 1: On assisted, you cannot help yourself.
- 18:20Speaker 3: The highest demonstration of humility is prayer. That every time
- 18:26Speaker 3: you pray, it stems from an understanding that I am
- 18:31Speaker 3: unable to help myself on assisted.
- 18:33Speaker 1: This is the story here.
- 18:35Speaker 3: And so he said, look, I need supplies, but that
- 18:39Speaker 3: supplies is.
- 18:40Speaker 1: Not within my reach. It is with you. And the
- 18:42Speaker 1: man with them says, do not distop me by reason
- 18:45Speaker 1: of timing. I am asleep. Wait, and he's showing you
- 18:50Speaker 1: what prayer can do.
- 18:52Speaker 3: He from within shall say, trouble me not, for the
- 18:55Speaker 3: door is now shut, and my children are with me
- 18:58Speaker 3: in men. I cannot rise and give thee. Eight, I
- 19:05Speaker 3: say unto you, Jesus is speaking, though he will not
- 19:08Speaker 3: rise and give him a quieber because of his importunity.
- 19:13Speaker 3: The word importunity means persistence. He's taking power and determination.
- 19:20Speaker 3: Yet because of his importunity, he will rise and give
- 19:24Speaker 3: him how much.
- 19:27Speaker 1: As many?
- 19:28Speaker 3: The man was only asking for three loaf, but he
- 19:31Speaker 3: said the energy that comes from what he's doing can
- 19:34Speaker 3: move beyond three loaves to as many as he needs.
- 19:39Speaker 1: This is prayer. Are we learning? He will give him
- 19:46Speaker 1: as many as he needed.
- 19:50Speaker 3: So prayer is very powerful. It is able to produce results.
- 19:54Speaker 1: Verst. Nine. Let's read to ten and I say unto you.
- 19:58Speaker 3: Ask and it's I'll be given to you amplified, says ask.
- 20:02Speaker 1: And keep asking and it shall be given to you.
- 20:06Speaker 3: Sick and you shall find it, says knock, and it
- 20:11Speaker 3: shall be open onto you. Here is the spiritual law
- 20:14Speaker 3: that governs prayer. First, tend for everyone, Please say everyone.
- 20:20Speaker 3: The advantage of prayer is not for preachers. The advantage
- 20:25Speaker 3: of prayer is not for a particular race.
- 20:27Speaker 1: There are regions that have certain.
- 20:29Speaker 3: Things that may seem to be an advantage for them,
- 20:32Speaker 3: but that prayer can set everyone on.
- 20:34Speaker 1: Common ground to receive it. Says for everyone that.
- 20:38Speaker 3: Asked, receiveth and he that secret find it, and to
- 20:45Speaker 3: him that knocked it shall be open. That means if
- 20:49Speaker 3: you do not receive it is because you didn't ask.
- 20:52Speaker 1: You may say, I verbalize my intention.
- 20:55Speaker 3: Asking is more than verbalizing your intention.
- 20:59Speaker 1: Now I want to share with you, maybe in the
- 21:01Speaker 1: next five or ten minutes, the rules of engagement in prayer.
- 21:05Speaker 3: You will be seeing here the reason why many believers
- 21:09Speaker 3: do not receive answers in prayer.
- 21:14Speaker 1: Let's go to the Book of James.
- 21:16Speaker 3: James, chapter four apost James began to give us and
- 21:20Speaker 3: understanding as to the dynamics of prayer that as.
- 21:24Speaker 1: Simple as prayer looks as kin and receiving. By the way,
- 21:30Speaker 1: maybe I should.
- 21:31Speaker 3: Say this, prayer is very powerful, but we have to
- 21:35Speaker 3: understand that prayer has jurisdictions.
- 21:38Speaker 1: Prayer does not do everything.
- 21:42Speaker 3: Prayer must be involved in everything, but prayer does not
- 21:46Speaker 3: do everything.
- 21:48Speaker 1: Prayer, like all the.
- 21:49Speaker 3: Other keys in the Kingdom, has defined our locations to
- 21:53Speaker 3: what they are able to bring to the life of
- 21:55Speaker 3: the believer. Please understand what I'm saying. Prayer has to
- 22:00Speaker 3: be involved in everything. Why because the Bible says, be
- 22:03Speaker 3: anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication.
- 22:08Speaker 3: It says to make your request known onto God. But
- 22:11Speaker 3: prayer is not the key to everything. Jesus was speaking,
- 22:15Speaker 3: and he said, I will give you the keys this
- 22:19Speaker 3: beautiful facility, here, this auditorium. I look around, and I
- 22:23Speaker 3: see a number of rooms. You can have the key
- 22:27Speaker 3: to the main door. Main door is not the only door.
- 22:32Speaker 3: Main door is a major door, but it is not
- 22:35Speaker 3: the only door. As small as the door to the
- 22:37Speaker 3: restroom is. If you do not have the key there,
- 22:41Speaker 3: the key you have to the main door can leave
- 22:43Speaker 3: you frustrated when.
- 22:44Speaker 1: You need to ease yourself. I want together now.
- 22:47Speaker 3: So the understanding that prayer is the only key a
- 22:51Speaker 3: believer needs, it's not accurate.
- 22:53Speaker 1: Prayer must be involved.
- 22:55Speaker 3: I would always say, in this way, where prayer is
- 22:58Speaker 3: not the key, it becomes the that holds the key.
- 23:01Speaker 1: In any case, you will still need prayer, but.
- 23:04Speaker 3: That in addition to prayer, there are other spiritual dynamics.
- 23:08Speaker 1: So when we say a believer.
- 23:09Speaker 3: Is robots are matured in the things of God, it
- 23:12Speaker 3: means you have been able to bring together within your
- 23:16Speaker 3: reach the keys of the kingdom. These are the keys
- 23:19Speaker 3: that grant you access to command dominion. In experience, dominion
- 23:24Speaker 3: is not an importation, is the resultant effect of your
- 23:27Speaker 3: comprehending the truths of the kingdom having the keys of
- 23:31Speaker 3: the kingdom. So, for instance, the prayer ministry, according to Scripture,
- 23:38Speaker 3: only achieves the platform.
- 23:40Speaker 1: Prayer is a platform to achieve just four things. You
- 23:43Speaker 1: would be surprised.
- 23:44Speaker 3: I may not have the time, but let me mention
- 23:46Speaker 3: it since I've spoken about it. According to the authority
- 23:49Speaker 3: of Scripture, prayer is a platform that grants you access
- 23:53Speaker 3: to achieve four things.
- 23:55Speaker 1: Principally number one.
- 23:56Speaker 3: The first assignment of prayer and the assignment of prayer
- 24:01Speaker 3: is as a tool and a platform for transformation. Look
- 24:06Speaker 3: chapter nine and verse twenty nine when you read the
- 24:08Speaker 3: Bible says, when you read twenty eight and twenty nine,
- 24:11Speaker 3: he took Peter, James, and John, the Bible says he
- 24:13Speaker 3: went to pray. And then verse twenty nine. As he prayed,
- 24:18Speaker 3: the Bible says, the version of his countenance was altered
- 24:22Speaker 3: and his raiment was white and blistering. So prayer, the
- 24:26Speaker 3: primary and principal assignment of prayer is to provide the
- 24:30Speaker 3: platform that makes for transformation, evolving into a superior spiritual
- 24:36Speaker 3: version of yourself.
- 24:37Speaker 1: The assignment of.
- 24:38Speaker 3: Prayer more than just petitions. Prayer really affects you, not
- 24:44Speaker 3: just things. That means you can pray yourself to a higher, stronger,
- 24:49Speaker 3: more dex terrorist version of yourself. Number two, The second
- 24:53Speaker 3: assignment of prayer is as a platform to make requests
- 24:57Speaker 3: and obtain promises. That every time you need to make
- 25:01Speaker 3: requests and obtain promises, the authorized platform to make that
- 25:06Speaker 3: happen is prayer.
- 25:08Speaker 1: Mark chapter eleven and verse twenty four.
- 25:11Speaker 3: Jesus was teaching on faith, and he feared to help
- 25:14Speaker 3: them understand the subject of prayer.
- 25:16Speaker 1: Is that therefore I say unto you.
- 25:18Speaker 3: What things soever ye desire? When, not if? When ye pray,
- 25:23Speaker 3: it says, believe that thou receivest them, and thou shalt
- 25:28Speaker 3: have them.
- 25:30Speaker 1: Allelujah.
- 25:32Speaker 3: We read Philippians chapter four, from verse six and seven.
- 25:37Speaker 3: To be anxious for nothing the word fearful. There is
- 25:40Speaker 3: the word anxious, but in everything by prayer and supplication
- 25:45Speaker 3: garnished with thanksgiving. That you let your requests be made
- 25:49Speaker 3: known onto God. Don't assume he knows. Let your requests
- 25:52Speaker 3: be made known on to God. Verse seven says the
- 25:55Speaker 3: God of peace. The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding.
- 26:00Speaker 1: Will garrison your hearts and your mind through Christ Jesus.
- 26:04Speaker 3: The third assignment of prayer in the life of the believer,
- 26:07Speaker 3: as revealed to scripture, is as a tool for spiritual legislation.
- 26:12Speaker 3: That means we are able to make decrease and create
- 26:16Speaker 3: possibilities in our lives through the platform of prayer Job
- 26:20Speaker 3: chapter twenty two and verse twenty eight.
- 26:22Speaker 1: That's what the Bible says. It says Job twenty two
- 26:26Speaker 1: and verse twenty eight.
- 26:30Speaker 3: Thou shall also decree a thing, and it shall be
- 26:34Speaker 3: established onto the who is the deed, the one who
- 26:37Speaker 3: made the decree. So prayer is not only talking to God.
- 26:41Speaker 3: Prayer is a tool for creation. You can create possibilities
- 26:45Speaker 3: in your life. The Bible says, Let the redeemed of
- 26:48Speaker 3: the Lord say so. Let the blessed of the Lord
- 26:52Speaker 3: say so. Let the favor of the Lord say so.
- 26:56Speaker 3: Let the anointed of the Lord say so, not just
- 26:59Speaker 3: think so, say so. Are we blessed? Very important numbers
- 27:07Speaker 3: Chapter fourteen and verse twenty eight. Still on the third
- 27:10Speaker 3: point the assignment of prayer, I thought to quickly chip
- 27:13Speaker 3: that in.
- 27:15Speaker 1: Numbers chapter. Oh dear, I'm not sure I got that.
- 27:20Speaker 3: Please just leave that number four Welfare and intercession. The
- 27:26Speaker 3: fourth assignment of prayer is as a tool for warfare
- 27:31Speaker 3: and intercession. Now I can spend the whole night teaching
- 27:36Speaker 3: on this, believe me, John ten ten. The thief comment not,
- 27:40Speaker 3: that means you'll never see the thief around anywhere except
- 27:44Speaker 3: there is something to kill, there is something to steal,
- 27:47Speaker 3: and there is.
- 27:48Speaker 1: Something to destroy. Do you know what this tells you?
- 27:51Speaker 3: It means Satan himself is a verification system that you
- 27:54Speaker 3: are valuable. That every time you want to verify whether
- 27:59Speaker 3: you are valuable, you check and see whether Satan leaves
- 28:03Speaker 3: you untouched. If Satan has a particular interest in you,
- 28:07Speaker 3: is a confirmation that there is something.
- 28:09Speaker 1: He has seen in your life, even if you do
- 28:11Speaker 1: not know.
- 28:13Speaker 3: The thief comment not means he is busy, determined, looking
- 28:17Speaker 3: for specific people and things, And if you happen to
- 28:20Speaker 3: be one of such people, it's already an information to you.
- 28:24Speaker 3: You do not see an armb robber struggling to entire heart.
- 28:28Speaker 3: The labor versus the reward is not commensurate. But when
- 28:31Speaker 3: an arm robber is struggling to court a security barricade.
- 28:35Speaker 3: He knows that what he will receive would be a
- 28:36Speaker 3: worthy reward for that labor.
- 28:39Speaker 1: So who did be why the devil.
- 28:41Speaker 3: Seems to be determined about you? There is something that
- 28:44Speaker 3: is so valuable he would rather face you than a
- 28:47Speaker 3: thousand other people. The thief comment, not but for to steal,
- 28:54Speaker 3: to kill, and to destroy the trinity of his operations.
- 28:58Speaker 3: You can verify that set has visited a place by
- 29:01Speaker 3: looking for designs. If you do not see killing, stealing,
- 29:07Speaker 3: and destruction, it was not satan.
- 29:09Speaker 1: It is signature.
- 29:12Speaker 3: It says, But I am calm that you may have
- 29:14Speaker 3: life and to have it more abundantly, and we'll still together.
- 29:19Speaker 3: First John, chapter five and verse nineteen. First John, five nineteen.
- 29:24Speaker 3: Apostle John is teaching us something.
- 29:26Speaker 1: He's giving us an information.
- 29:28Speaker 3: And it says, and we know that we are of
- 29:31Speaker 3: God and the whole world, not.
- 29:35Speaker 1: Just a quibomb, not just Nigeria.
- 29:38Speaker 3: When it has to do with wickedness, the rich extends
- 29:41Speaker 3: to the entire globe. That means there is no physical
- 29:44Speaker 3: space you will go that sustains.
- 29:47Speaker 1: Immunity in itself against wickedness.
- 29:50Speaker 3: There must be a system of advantage you build to
- 29:53Speaker 3: super impose this reality.
- 29:56Speaker 1: He says, the whole world lies in wickedness.
- 30:02Speaker 3: One last scripture, first pit Touch, Chapter five and verse eight.
- 30:06Speaker 1: First pit Touch, Chapter five and verse eight.
- 30:08Speaker 3: Just bothressing on the fact that prayer is a platform that.
- 30:11Speaker 1: Allows for warfare and intercession.
- 30:14Speaker 3: This is a dimension that many believers do not understand
- 30:18Speaker 3: or understand properly. It says, to be so bad, be vigilant.
- 30:22Speaker 3: Be vigilant means be discerning. This is a security expression.
- 30:27Speaker 3: Because your adversary, the devil, as a roaring lion, walked
- 30:33Speaker 3: about seeking whom he may devour.
- 30:38Speaker 1: Chances are excellent that he.
- 30:39Speaker 3: Will find you, because the Bible says he's moving around
- 30:43Speaker 3: and seeking whom he may devour. So transformation number one,
- 30:49Speaker 3: Number two obtaining requests and promises. Number three creating possibilities
- 30:55Speaker 3: in your life.
- 30:56Speaker 1: Number four warfare and intercession.
- 30:59Speaker 3: This is the jurisdiction of the prayer ministry in the
- 31:02Speaker 3: life of the believer. Now, very quickly, let's go to
- 31:06Speaker 3: the rules of engagement James Chapter four id said earlier.
- 31:10Speaker 3: Will start from verse one apples.
- 31:13Speaker 1: James is teaching us how to receive answers to prayer.
- 31:16Speaker 3: Now James four will start from verse one, verse one, can.
- 31:25Speaker 1: You help us media? Verse one James four and one
- 31:29Speaker 1: let me talk to it quickly for the sake of time.
- 31:32Speaker 3: James, Chapter four and verse one.
- 31:37Speaker 1: Here's what it says. From whence commeent.
- 31:40Speaker 3: Wars and fightings among you come there not hence even.
- 31:47Speaker 1: From your losts that war within your members. Next verse,
- 31:52Speaker 1: ye lost and have not.
- 31:54Speaker 3: Ye chill and desire to have and cannot obtain You
- 31:58Speaker 3: fight and war, yet ye have not? Because he acts
- 32:02Speaker 3: not very interesting rendition. Do you know what James is saying.
- 32:06Speaker 3: He's saying many fights are unnecessary if you understand that
- 32:10Speaker 3: prayer can.
- 32:11Speaker 1: Give equal platform for reception.
- 32:13Speaker 3: He's saying that most of the jealousy and the envy
- 32:16Speaker 3: that we experience in a world is a report platform
- 32:20Speaker 3: the secret frustration of people who have tried to receive
- 32:24Speaker 3: things and have not found.
- 32:26Speaker 1: Are you getting what his teaching us here?
- 32:28Speaker 3: From whence came this on necessary things? He's saying, the
- 32:34Speaker 3: simple reason why you do not have is not because
- 32:37Speaker 3: your neighbor has. Your neighbor's has nothing to do with
- 32:40Speaker 3: your not having. It is just a human thing that
- 32:45Speaker 3: if I have and you do not have, chances are
- 32:48Speaker 3: excellent you will believe it is my having that is
- 32:51Speaker 3: stopping you're not having. And James is saying that it's unnecessary.
- 32:56Speaker 3: You fight and war, yet ye have not play because
- 33:01Speaker 3: you ask not. Now verse three, he says, some of
- 33:06Speaker 3: you have gone further to ask, and shockingly you did
- 33:09Speaker 3: not receive. He is diagnosing the condition, and he's revealing
- 33:14Speaker 3: that there is a certain condition where you can ask
- 33:18Speaker 3: and yet not receive. He says, ye ask and receive
- 33:21Speaker 3: not Why because ye ask a miss.
- 33:27Speaker 1: That ye may consume it upon your lost?
- 33:30Speaker 3: So appostle James here is helping and strengthening our prayer
- 33:35Speaker 3: that just because you are asking does not guarantee that
- 33:38Speaker 3: you will receive.
- 33:39Speaker 1: There are rules of engagement.
- 33:41Speaker 3: There are principles that if not kept, you can be
- 33:44Speaker 3: sure you will not have it. He says, the possibility
- 33:47Speaker 3: exists that a believer, even though well intentioned, can ask amiss. Now,
- 33:53Speaker 3: what does it mean to ask amiss? To ask a
- 33:58Speaker 3: miss has three expressions. One of it is this written
- 34:03Speaker 3: here that you may consume it upon your loss.
- 34:07Speaker 1: That means wrong motive.
- 34:09Speaker 3: The first expression of asking amiss is that your desire
- 34:13Speaker 3: for wanting it.
- 34:15Speaker 1: Is already corrupt.
- 34:17Speaker 3: When a believer ask amiss, it means that you desire
- 34:21Speaker 3: it for your own loss. But let's go to James
- 34:24Speaker 3: very quickly for further explanation James chapter one, and will
- 34:29Speaker 3: go to verse five asking amiss.
- 34:32Speaker 1: This is what we're discussing now.
- 34:33Speaker 3: So the Bible identifies asking amiss as the major.
- 34:37Speaker 1: Secret for not receiving in prayer.
- 34:41Speaker 3: That asking amiss as an expression of number one, asking
- 34:45Speaker 3: for the wrong motive, the wrong motive number two.
- 34:51Speaker 1: If any of you lack, don't worry about what you lack.
- 34:56Speaker 3: If any of you lack, it could be wisdom in discontext,
- 35:00Speaker 3: or any other thing else.
- 35:02Speaker 1: That if the moment you find out that there.
- 35:05Speaker 3: Is deficiency or insufficiency of any provision in your life,
- 35:09Speaker 3: it says, let him ask of God, and that God
- 35:13Speaker 3: is a giver. Are we together now that the moment
- 35:17Speaker 3: you see that there is lack in your life, lack
- 35:21Speaker 3: of favor, lack of opportunities, lack of open doors, in
- 35:24Speaker 3: this case, lack of wisdom, it says to ask of
- 35:27Speaker 3: God that give it to how many men? And how
- 35:31Speaker 3: far does he give liberally? Are we together and upbraided not?
- 35:37Speaker 3: And it shall be given to him quickly he brings
- 35:40Speaker 3: a disclaimer. Verse six, it says, but let him ask
- 35:44Speaker 3: in faith. So here we find one of the keys
- 35:48Speaker 3: again that expresses praying amiss. That when there is no
- 35:52Speaker 3: faith to your prayer, it is praying amiss. There is
- 35:55Speaker 3: no guarantee for an answer. It's God helping us this night.
- 35:59Speaker 3: So one, praying a miss refers to praying for the
- 36:02Speaker 3: wrong motif number two, that there is no faith in
- 36:07Speaker 3: that prayer equation.
- 36:10Speaker 1: And then the Bible says, let him ask.
- 36:12Speaker 3: In faith, nothing wavering. For he that waver it is
- 36:16Speaker 3: like the wave of the sea, those with the wind
- 36:21Speaker 3: and toast.
- 36:22Speaker 1: Verse seven. Very tragic statement. For let not that man
- 36:27Speaker 1: think that he shall receive anything of the Lord.
- 36:34Speaker 3: Praying a miss means number one. Let me structure it
- 36:38Speaker 3: for you. Now, praying without a scriptural backing. Number two,
- 36:43Speaker 3: praying with and for the wrong motif Number three, praying
- 36:48Speaker 3: without faith. This is very powerful praying amiss. Do you
- 36:55Speaker 3: know if you do not pray with the backing of scripture,
- 37:00Speaker 3: the Bible guarantees that you do not have an answer? Why,
- 37:03Speaker 3: because you see, the Word of God is the basis.
- 37:06Speaker 1: For God's commitment to the believer.
- 37:09Speaker 3: As mighty as God is, he cannot be committed to
- 37:12Speaker 3: the believer outside of the provision that the world allows.
- 37:17Speaker 3: Are we together now? Yes, this is very powerful. God
- 37:20Speaker 3: is almighty, Yet he has found himself with principles as
- 37:25Speaker 3: far as his relationship with the believer is concern In
- 37:30Speaker 3: Isaiah forty one and verse twenty one, about to pray
- 37:33Speaker 3: now Isaiah forty one and.
- 37:35Speaker 1: Verse twenty one. Isaiah forty one.
- 37:40Speaker 3: Never forget this scripture of your saying it for the
- 37:42Speaker 3: first time or for some of you.
- 37:43Speaker 1: This is a reminder.
- 37:44Speaker 3: It says, produce your cosse, sayth the Lord. Bring forth
- 37:49Speaker 3: your strong reasons. Why should I lift you? Why should
- 37:54Speaker 3: I give you longevity? Why should I honor you like Daniel?
- 37:59Speaker 3: Why should I live like Joseph? He says, produce your cause?
- 38:02Speaker 3: Don't just ask me to do it. I am committed.
- 38:06Speaker 3: There has to be a basis for it. Are we together?
- 38:13Speaker 3: The Word of God is the basis of our confidence,
- 38:17Speaker 3: the basis of our faith. In first first John, chapter five,
- 38:26Speaker 3: First John five, fourteen and fifteen.
- 38:28Speaker 1: Please First John.
- 38:30Speaker 3: Five, the Bible says, this is the confidence that we have.
- 38:34Speaker 1: Please say, I have this confidence.
- 38:38Speaker 3: This is the confidence that we have in him that
- 38:42Speaker 3: if we ask anything and it is in accordance to
- 38:46Speaker 3: his will, What is his will?
- 38:48Speaker 1: His word? You see that now his will.
- 38:53Speaker 3: If it is in accordance with his word, he gives
- 38:55Speaker 3: us a guarantee that he hear it Coust Verse fifteen.
- 39:00Speaker 3: And we know if we know that he heared us
- 39:03Speaker 3: whatsoever we ask, we know that we.
- 39:05Speaker 1: Have our petitions.
- 39:07Speaker 3: So we can begin to rejoice even before it manifests.
- 39:10Speaker 3: Why the same way a doctor will give a patient
- 39:14Speaker 3: injection and not as the patient to spend the hospital
- 39:17Speaker 3: there on it till he's fine, you can say, go,
- 39:19Speaker 3: you are fine with that confidence. You know why he
- 39:23Speaker 3: spent years in college learning the.
- 39:25Speaker 1: Dynamics of what he put inside that patient.
- 39:28Speaker 3: He is aware of what will happen to the patient.
- 39:32Speaker 3: So when we pray, we can know. When we say God,
- 39:35Speaker 3: bless acquible, open doors of favor, we can say amen
- 39:40Speaker 3: and begin to rejoice with confidence because we have found
- 39:45Speaker 3: in his world. Can I tell you, as loving as
- 39:48Speaker 3: God is, if there is no scriptural basis for your
- 39:52Speaker 3: discussion with him, there is no guarantee for answer. It's
- 39:55Speaker 3: as simple and as honest as that blessed some one
- 40:02Speaker 3: thirty eight and verse two. Very interesting scriptures. We prepare
- 40:05Speaker 3: to pray Some one thirty eight and verse two. It says,
- 40:10Speaker 3: I will worship towards thy holy tempo and praise thy
- 40:14Speaker 3: name for thy loving kindness and for thy truth.
- 40:18Speaker 1: Let's read the remaining sentence.
- 40:19Speaker 3: Ready, read, for thou hast magnified thy word above your name.
- 40:26Speaker 1: His name means his office. That he has lifted his word.
- 40:30Speaker 3: That means if my office compromises the word, do not
- 40:34Speaker 3: regard my office. That's how far God has gone with
- 40:37Speaker 3: his word. So when you say, Lord, lift me, he.
- 40:42Speaker 1: Says, I desire to. But what is the basis for
- 40:45Speaker 1: your lifting?
- 40:46Speaker 3: Then you go to scripture and says your word says
- 40:49Speaker 3: Deuteronomy twenty eight, from verse one and two, that it
- 40:52Speaker 3: shall come to pass if I diligently happen to the
- 40:54Speaker 3: voice of the Lord to do and observe all that
- 40:57Speaker 3: you have commanded me this day, that I shall be
- 40:59Speaker 3: a resulted above the nations of the earth, and that
- 41:02Speaker 3: all these blessings shall come upon me and overtake me.
- 41:05Speaker 1: Now you have brought a.
- 41:07Speaker 3: Scriptural basis that becomes the platform for your Liftin for instance,
- 41:12Speaker 3: the Bible says the path of the jost is as
- 41:15Speaker 3: a shining light that shines ever brighter onto the perfect day,
- 41:19Speaker 3: that can become the basis for committing God to your rising.
- 41:25Speaker 1: This is where the mistake of prayer.
- 41:27Speaker 3: In Africa and even this our dear nation, we pray
- 41:31Speaker 3: a lot of superstitious, emotionally consoling prayers that do not
- 41:36Speaker 3: have a scriptural basis for answer.
- 41:39Speaker 1: God, will you keep watching me like this? Are you
- 41:41Speaker 1: not the one exalted?
- 41:43Speaker 3: That is a very emotionally comforting prayer, but based on
- 41:47Speaker 3: the rules of engagement, there is a guarantee that the
- 41:51Speaker 3: best you will only receive from that prayer is an
- 41:54Speaker 3: emotional consolation that you have expressed yourself to a deity
- 41:58Speaker 3: that you believe is higher than you. But as first
- 42:00Speaker 3: an size concerned, the Bible assures you already to not
- 42:04Speaker 3: be surprised if it does not come, I will learn
- 42:11Speaker 3: something tonight.
- 42:18Speaker 1: Jesus was don't fasting and praying? Please look up.
- 42:22Speaker 3: Jesus was don't fasting and praying for forty days, according
- 42:25Speaker 3: to Matthew chapter four, and the Bible says Satan came to.
- 42:29Speaker 1: Him immediately three temptations.
- 42:32Speaker 3: Temptations number one, He says, if you are truly the
- 42:36Speaker 3: son of God. Turn this stone to prayer. You would
- 42:39Speaker 3: think Jesus would say, I've been praying, leave me. No,
- 42:43Speaker 3: Satan seem to not even respect his prayer and fasting.
- 42:47Speaker 3: What gave credence to his prayer was.
- 42:49Speaker 1: His honor for the world.
- 42:50Speaker 3: It is written, not I am saying it is written.
- 42:56Speaker 3: The basis for the victory is not what I am saying.
- 42:59Speaker 3: It is that it is written.
- 43:01Speaker 1: Man shall not live by bread alone.
- 43:03Speaker 3: Jesus the word had to use it is written as
- 43:06Speaker 3: his system of defense. Satan took him to a holy mountain,
- 43:13Speaker 3: a holy temple, and it's a fall down after all,
- 43:17Speaker 3: the Bible says, he will put his angels.
- 43:20Speaker 1: Chat over you.
- 43:21Speaker 3: You see how Satan switched to and Jesus said, it
- 43:24Speaker 3: is written.
- 43:27Speaker 1: Finally, he took him into an exceeding high mountain, the
- 43:30Speaker 1: Bible says.
- 43:31Speaker 3: Showed him the glories of the world and said, bow
- 43:33Speaker 3: to me, and I would give you because all this
- 43:35Speaker 3: has been given to me.
- 43:36Speaker 1: It is written.
- 43:38Speaker 3: So your prayer is only powerful to the degree to
- 43:42Speaker 3: which the content of that prayer is consistent with what
- 43:45Speaker 3: is written.
- 43:48Speaker 1: When what is written becomes what.
- 43:50Speaker 3: You are speaking, then you are praying let me say
- 43:54Speaker 3: it again. When what is written becomes what you are speaking, then.
- 43:59Speaker 1: You are pray. But if you are just speaking, I'm
- 44:03Speaker 1: speaking my mind. Oh God, of course He's merciful.
- 44:07Speaker 3: Many answers happen at the platform of messy because if
- 44:10Speaker 3: God is to answer was based on what we're saying.
- 44:13Speaker 1: The truth is that many people may not receive.
- 44:15Speaker 3: They may receive one answer a decade or one answer
- 44:18Speaker 3: a year. So we're about to pray for his excellency
- 44:26Speaker 3: and excellency, we're about to pray for the prophetic destiny
- 44:29Speaker 3: of acquible. My question is, have you found in scripture
- 44:33Speaker 3: where God has vowed to defend you? Have you found
- 44:37Speaker 3: in scripture where God has vowed that this government will
- 44:40Speaker 3: continue to rise?
- 44:42Speaker 1: Have you found in scripture where he has pledged his.
- 44:45Speaker 3: Commitments that if people seek him corporately, he.
- 44:48Speaker 1: Will defend them. Just knowing it is there does not
- 44:52Speaker 1: bring results. You must find it and you must engage
- 44:55Speaker 1: Him when you engage scripture.
- 44:59Speaker 3: Now you have come within the jurisdiction the boundary.
- 45:03Speaker 1: Of answered prayer.
- 45:08Speaker 3: Are we blessed on today that answers prayer shall all
- 45:13Speaker 3: flesh come? We have confidence when we pray because we
- 45:19Speaker 3: know that we're not praying and miss our motive remains
- 45:23Speaker 3: to see Jesus glorified. I can tell you this. When
- 45:26Speaker 3: I stepped in here and I sat down, I was
- 45:28Speaker 3: just thinking. I said, my God, it takes a heart
- 45:30Speaker 3: for God to do this. You know, sometimes it's easy
- 45:33Speaker 3: to see leaders do spectacular things and think they're just
- 45:36Speaker 3: doing it.
- 45:36Speaker 1: It is very difficult to.
- 45:38Speaker 3: Be vocal about certain things in certain positions. And I
- 45:46Speaker 3: really wish other states that were professing states had these
- 45:52Speaker 3: kinds of thing.
- 45:54Speaker 1: It is not vain to seek God.
- 45:56Speaker 3: Go and read your Bible and see there are the
- 45:59Speaker 3: blessed of this that you are doing may not necessarily
- 46:03Speaker 3: come on many people now in its weightiness. It is
- 46:06Speaker 3: the third and fourth generation God. Because God, you see,
- 46:09Speaker 3: is a covenant.
- 46:10Speaker 1: Keep in God.
- 46:11Speaker 3: You will find out that years after that, when the
- 46:14Speaker 3: devil wanves will come and destroy the state, you will
- 46:16Speaker 3: find out that a particular government has lifted gave prayer
- 46:20Speaker 3: garrison to cover the destiny of that state. Most times,
- 46:23Speaker 3: you see, when you are involved in prophetic intercession, you
- 46:27Speaker 3: must look beyond your personal comfort.
- 46:30Speaker 1: At the moment. It is a sacrifice you are making
- 46:33Speaker 1: for other people. Allelujah.
- 46:42Speaker 3: So we're going to pray. I believe in the power
- 46:45Speaker 3: of prayer. I have come firstfied my life and the
- 46:48Speaker 3: bits that God has gone in and through my life
- 46:51Speaker 3: on account of prayer. I did not come from a
- 46:54Speaker 3: background that provides any significant advantage by default.
- 46:58Speaker 1: I know what prayer can do.
- 47:00Speaker 3: You can evolve into superior versions of yourself.
- 47:04Speaker 1: In and through prayer.
- 47:06Speaker 3: So I know that we have prayed. The Man of
- 47:08Speaker 3: God who came so powerfully led us. You see the
- 47:11Speaker 3: character when he was leading through the prayer, the scriptures
- 47:15Speaker 3: that were as simple as this is. Your first assignment
- 47:19Speaker 3: in wanting to pray is to put together the scriptural
- 47:23Speaker 3: arsenals that become the basis of your engaging the Almighty.
- 47:28Speaker 3: I'm tired of my child behaving this way. I want
- 47:32Speaker 3: him to improve. Oh God, do something that's not prayer.
- 47:35Speaker 3: Your first assignment is to be like a spiritual archeologist.
- 47:39Speaker 1: Go to scripture and find whereas God committed himself to
- 47:44Speaker 1: lived and to bless you.
- 47:45Speaker 3: Then you go to some one twelve blessed this the
- 47:48Speaker 3: man that heared, the Lord that delighted greatly in his commands.
- 47:52Speaker 3: He said, his seed shall be mighty upon earth. Now
- 47:55Speaker 3: you go to God in prayer. Lord, I delight myself
- 47:58Speaker 3: in your world, and I hear you by the grace
- 48:00Speaker 3: you have invested in me, my.
- 48:02Speaker 1: Seat should not be small. That becomes the basis of
- 48:05Speaker 1: your defense. Are you saying that?
- 48:08Speaker 3: Now It says the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
- 48:12Speaker 3: Then it says wealth and riches shall be in his house,
- 48:15Speaker 3: and yet his righteousness endals forever. That becomes the basis.
- 48:21Speaker 3: If you are accessing the world of God and it
- 48:24Speaker 3: looks like you are going down, you have a right
- 48:26Speaker 3: to go to God.
- 48:27Speaker 1: And petition him in prayer.
- 48:29Speaker 3: You see that now in Job chapter twenty nine, Remember
- 48:31Speaker 3: what Job said, all that I was in the days
- 48:34Speaker 3: of my youth when his light was upon me. It
- 48:37Speaker 3: is impossible for his light to be upon you, and.
- 48:40Speaker 1: Then darkness surrounds you everywhere.
- 48:42Speaker 3: There are two kinds of lights, the one that shines
- 48:44Speaker 3: on your head and the one that shines.
- 48:46Speaker 1: On your feet.
- 48:47Speaker 3: The one that shines on your head gives you illumination
- 48:49Speaker 3: and intelligence.
- 48:51Speaker 1: The one that shines on your feet gives you direction.
- 48:53Speaker 1: You need both.
- 48:56Speaker 3: It says, on account of that the young men saw
- 48:59Speaker 3: me and ste the elders. He began to express the
- 49:02Speaker 3: kind of results that came from that life.
- 49:05Speaker 1: Any believer, including.
- 49:07Speaker 3: The dear people, see that he is headed by his excellency,
- 49:10Speaker 3: can become a uniquely distinguished.
- 49:13Speaker 1: People on the strength of the truths that we know.
- 49:17Speaker 3: It is my desire to see the glory of the
- 49:22Speaker 3: Lord rise even within the city and.
- 49:25Speaker 1: Even within these states.
- 49:26Speaker 3: You have vocally expressed your love for Jesus, and I
- 49:30Speaker 3: can tell you give him.
- 49:31Speaker 1: A chance to prove once.
- 49:34Speaker 3: And again what he can do with the people who
- 49:37Speaker 3: love him and honor him greatly.
- 49:41Speaker 4: From the rising of the sun to the seting of
- 49:48Speaker 4: the same, your.
- 49:51Speaker 1: Name is to be hallo Ah. From the rising of
- 50:03Speaker 1: the sun to the city the same, your name.
- 50:12Speaker 3: Is to you and Ah. We can change things in prayer.
- 50:25Speaker 3: We can create the spiritual climate in prayer. We can
- 50:29Speaker 3: fight crime in prayer. Thank God for the judiciary, thank
- 50:34Speaker 3: God for the police and the military.
- 50:36Speaker 1: What my Bible says, accept the Lord.
- 50:38Speaker 3: Duilty house, It says they label in vain that du died.
- 50:42Speaker 1: Accept the Lord watches over a city.
- 50:46Speaker 3: He said, the watchman watch it, but in vain that
- 50:49Speaker 3: it is vain to wake up early in the morning
- 50:51Speaker 3: and to sleep late in the night only to eat
- 50:54Speaker 3: the bread of sorrow, but that he can leave his
- 50:57Speaker 3: loved sleep. Sleep means rest ready to pray. Thank the
- 51:01Speaker 3: Lord for this world. That's the first prayer point. Even
- 51:04Speaker 3: this night, please lift your voice unless pray thanking Him
- 51:08Speaker 3: for the abundance of his word. The Bible declares that
- 51:12Speaker 3: the entrance of his word gives light and even understanding
- 51:16Speaker 3: to the simple. Someone is saying, thank you to Jesus
- 51:20Speaker 3: for opening your eyes to see and to understand. Efficiency
- 51:25Speaker 3: of the one Pass eighteen says, having their understanding taket
- 51:30Speaker 3: it has been alienated from the life of God through
- 51:33Speaker 3: the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness
- 51:36Speaker 3: of their minds. Thank you, Father for your word. You
- 51:41Speaker 3: have brought your word to teach me what it means
- 51:45Speaker 3: to pray. The kind of prayer that prevails the pathot
- 51:49Speaker 3: effectual prayer of the Aquibum citizen, the fathet and effectual
- 51:56Speaker 3: prayer of the aquie Bomb state government can prey fail
- 52:01Speaker 3: and can produce power dynamic in its working.
- 52:13Speaker 1: In the name of Jesus Christ. In the name of
- 52:16Speaker 1: Jesus Christ.
- 52:18Speaker 3: Now I'll just lead us through three prayer points. If
- 52:20Speaker 3: you allow me, and then we'll be done. The first
- 52:24Speaker 3: prayer point has to do with our personal lives and.
- 52:28Speaker 1: Our personal results.
- 52:30Speaker 3: I believe that territorial transformation starts from personal transformation. If
- 52:35Speaker 3: you do not experience growth and advancement and increase, chances
- 52:40Speaker 3: are excellent that you will not have the strength to
- 52:43Speaker 3: sit with that your territory becomes that heathen. Is that
- 52:47Speaker 3: true God desires for us to do well and to prosper.
- 52:52Speaker 3: He says, I wish above all things that thou mayors
- 52:56Speaker 3: prosper and be in.
- 52:58Speaker 1: Health, even as that prosperates.
- 53:01Speaker 3: So we're going to pray for ourselves as individuals, and
- 53:05Speaker 3: to pray as the entire theme of the government, that
- 53:08Speaker 3: God himself would visit individuals and cause that individuals excel.
- 53:14Speaker 3: The state can excel corporately, and yet individuals may not
- 53:18Speaker 3: be doing well. It is God's desire that we do
- 53:21Speaker 3: well distinctly, And then it speels over to the state.
- 53:25Speaker 1: Is someone ready to pray? I like you to lift
- 53:27Speaker 1: your voice.
- 53:28Speaker 3: And begin to ask the Lord to lift you, ask
- 53:30Speaker 3: the Lord to bless you, asks.
- 53:32Speaker 1: The Lord to honor you.
- 53:33Speaker 3: The Bible says the path of the trust is as.
- 53:37Speaker 1: A shining light that shines ever bright.
- 53:40Speaker 3: And if someone pray, we're praying to the God that
- 53:43Speaker 3: answers prayers. Lift your voice and pray to the God
- 53:49Speaker 3: that answers prayers.
- 53:58Speaker 1: We're praying to the God that I am. Sirs prayers.
- 54:06Speaker 3: Thank you, Jesus, lay black Satin Bandama, Thank you Jesus.
- 54:13Speaker 1: Alan Ria. First some well, chapter twelfth, place and verse six.
- 54:17Speaker 3: First some well, very quickly, you may want to write
- 54:19Speaker 3: this scripture down very powerful. First some well, chapter twelfth
- 54:23Speaker 3: and verse six and some well said onto the people
- 54:27Speaker 3: of a Quibo, he said, it is the Lord that
- 54:31Speaker 3: advanced Moses and Eron and brought your fathers out of
- 54:36Speaker 3: the land of Egypt. Who advances men? That means when
- 54:40Speaker 3: you see people moving forward and accomplishing strikes, It says
- 54:45Speaker 3: there is an invisible hand that can push men.
- 54:48Speaker 1: Men do not just move forward.
- 54:50Speaker 3: It takes more than intention and a good hard to advance.
- 54:54Speaker 1: It says, it is the Lord that advanced Moses.
- 54:57Speaker 3: It is the Lord that advances ex Let's see, it
- 55:00Speaker 3: is a lord that advanced you.
- 55:02Speaker 1: You're going to pray and make it declaration, Lord.
- 55:06Speaker 3: Advance me, I release myself and I content for advancement
- 55:10Speaker 3: based on the integrity of your world.
- 55:12Speaker 1: Are you ready to pray?
- 55:13Speaker 3: Go ahead and pray advancement territorially, advancement in my health,
- 55:19Speaker 3: advancement in my finances, advancement in every area of my life,
- 55:28Speaker 3: advancement even by the spirit of the Living God.
- 55:33Speaker 1: I decree and declare in.
- 55:35Speaker 3: The name of Jesus Christ, I advance by the mighty
- 55:39Speaker 3: hand of God. Allelujah. Still on advancement. Sam eighteen and pustuating,
- 56:00Speaker 3: please very quickly. You have about five or so minutes
- 56:04Speaker 3: Some eighteen and verse twenty nine. It says four by
- 56:07Speaker 3: the I have run through a troop, and by my God,
- 56:11Speaker 3: I have lived over a war. It is not normal
- 56:14Speaker 3: to live over a war, but not when God is
- 56:16Speaker 3: holding you.
- 56:17Speaker 1: When that is visible and holds you, you can scale
- 56:20Speaker 1: any war.
- 56:21Speaker 3: Is someone ready to pray, Lord, I obtain grace to
- 56:24Speaker 3: advance if it means me leaping over a wall, if
- 56:28Speaker 3: it means me moving over a troop, Are you obtain
- 56:30Speaker 3: that grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Someone
- 56:34Speaker 3: is praying, by day, I have run through a troop.
- 56:39Speaker 3: By my God, I have lived over a wall. No
- 56:43Speaker 3: limitations in my advancement. In the name of Jesus and
- 56:47Speaker 3: by the power of the Holy Spirit, Allelujah. Jenesis twenty
- 56:56Speaker 3: four and verse one. Genesis twenty four and verse one,
- 57:01Speaker 3: the Bible says, and Abraham was old and well stricken
- 57:05Speaker 3: in age. Help me read the remaining part. And the
- 57:08Speaker 3: Lord had blessed.
- 57:09Speaker 1: Him in all things. All things. Now, man, the captain
- 57:14Speaker 1: of the Syrian army had some things, but let us
- 57:18Speaker 1: he still remain.
- 57:19Speaker 3: And the slave girl, through the ministry of that slave girl,
- 57:22Speaker 3: he received perfection. Someone is about to pray, Lord, you
- 57:26Speaker 3: have helped me in this area, but this other area, by.
- 57:29Speaker 1: The spirit of grace, grabbed me all around.
- 57:31Speaker 3: Rest If someone praying all things, he says that God,
- 57:35Speaker 3: when he blesses men, he blesses them in all things.
- 57:39Speaker 3: He does not bless your finances and leave your health.
- 57:42Speaker 3: He does not bless your end of.
- 57:45Speaker 1: One leaves your finances.
- 57:47Speaker 3: If it is God he blesses in all things, Please
- 57:50Speaker 3: leave your voice.
- 57:50Speaker 1: And pray Allelbia press alone.
- 58:07Speaker 3: Now let's prey for a Kwaibom Second Chronicles fifteen and
- 58:11Speaker 3: verse three. Second Chronicles, Chapter fifteen and US three. Now,
- 58:17Speaker 3: for a long season, Israel had been without the True
- 58:21Speaker 3: God and without a teaching priest and without law. Verse four,
- 58:30Speaker 3: it says, but when they in their trouble, because trouble
- 58:35Speaker 3: will be imminent in any city that does not have
- 58:38Speaker 3: these three things. Number one, the recognition of the One
- 58:42Speaker 3: True God.
- 58:43Speaker 1: Number two, teaching.
- 58:44Speaker 3: Priests models that help to shape the spiritual and the
- 58:48Speaker 3: moral convictions of people within a territory. If a territory
- 58:52Speaker 3: is bankrupt of such people, there will be imminent moral decadems.
- 58:57Speaker 3: And then number three laws are the three things that
- 59:01Speaker 3: keep any society the consciousness of the authority that is
- 59:05Speaker 3: above them in heaven. Number two the presence of teaching priests,
- 59:09Speaker 3: men and women who help to shape the spiritual and
- 59:13Speaker 3: the moral convictions of the people. The spiritual health of
- 59:18Speaker 3: the average individual within any geographic region is a report
- 59:24Speaker 3: card as to the quality of the teaching priests within
- 59:28Speaker 3: that territory. And then number three know nor when a
- 59:32Speaker 3: people are lawless. When a territory is lawless, three cadems
- 59:37Speaker 3: is imminent. The Bible says, But when they, in their
- 59:40Speaker 3: trouble did turn to the Lord God of Israel and
- 59:44Speaker 3: sought him, the Bible says he was found of them.
- 59:47Speaker 1: Are you ready to pray Father.
- 59:49Speaker 3: That acquibom will continue to acknowledge Jesus as the head
- 59:54Speaker 3: over the state, that you will continue to honor the
- 59:57Speaker 3: ministry of teaching priests, men and men of God's spiritual leaders,
- 1:00:01Speaker 3: and all of that, and that when it has to
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: do with the law and those who enforce the law,
- 1:00:06Speaker 3: grant wisdom, and we pray, please lift your voice and
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: pray over the state, that continually Jesus will be lifted.
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: And glorified over the state.
- 1:00:21Speaker 3: Continually, continually, continually lifted and glorified over the states, lifted
- 1:00:32Speaker 3: and glorified over the States, in the name of Jesus.
- 1:00:39Speaker 3: First Demotive, Chapter two. Please from verse one and two.
- 1:00:42Speaker 3: Wrapping up now, First Demotive, Chapter two. I exhort therefore
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: that first of all supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of
- 1:00:54Speaker 3: things be made for all men, but particularly for kings
- 1:00:59Speaker 3: and for all that are in authority, Why that we
- 1:01:03Speaker 3: may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness
- 1:01:08Speaker 3: and honesty. We have a responsibility to pray for the
- 1:01:13Speaker 3: leaders led by His Excellency and Her Excellency, and I
- 1:01:17Speaker 3: want us to pray. We're going to use them as
- 1:01:19Speaker 3: a point of contact and cry that in the name
- 1:01:23Speaker 3: of Jesus that God himself will find the excellencies alongside
- 1:01:29Speaker 3: all the members that make the executive cabinets and all
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: who are involved in the affairs of the state. Were
- 1:01:36Speaker 3: going to pray that they remain mariable versuls for the
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: purposes of God to find expression within the state.
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: Are you in agreement, live to avoide in one minute
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: and less, pray.
- 1:01:47Speaker 3: Pray for your Governor, Pray for her excellency, Pray for
- 1:01:52Speaker 3: the Deputy Governor. Pray for all the members of Parliament
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: the State House. This sharing, let it be from the
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: depth of your heart. Were wrapping up your.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: Pray now.
- 1:02:20Speaker 3: That they will continue to prosper. Allelujah. Last scripture, Second
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: Chronicles twenty six. I'll read from verse three to five,
- 1:02:34Speaker 3: Second Chronicles twenty six. Sixteen years old was Hsiah when
- 1:02:40Speaker 3: he began to reign, and he reigned fifty and two
- 1:02:45Speaker 3: years in Jerusalem. His mother's name was Jacolia of Jerusalem.
- 1:02:50Speaker 3: The Bible says he did what was right in the
- 1:02:53Speaker 3: sight of the Lord, according to all that his father
- 1:02:56Speaker 3: Amasiah did verse five, and his son Lord in the
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God,
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: and as long as he sought the Lord. God made
- 1:03:09Speaker 3: him to prosper as long as he soorts the Lord.
- 1:03:14Speaker 3: We're going to pray still.
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: For the governor and the entire cabinet. We're going to pray. Lord.
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: They will seek the Lord. They will seek you and
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: seek your waist.
- 1:03:26Speaker 3: And you will prosper this state while they seek you.

- 1:03:53Speaker 3: The Holy Spirit just put a scripture in my heart
- 1:03:56Speaker 3: that I want us to look at Proverbs chapter twenty four.
- 1:03:59Speaker 3: I believe twenty four from US three and four. The
- 1:04:03Speaker 3: Lord said, we have to pray this over. A quibo
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: through wisdom is a house builded by understanding.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: It is established by knowledge.
- 1:04:16Speaker 3: Shall the chambers be filled with all pressure stings, wisdom, knowledge, understanding.
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: Inasmuch as we are spiritual.
- 1:04:25Speaker 3: People when it has to do with bringing policies and
- 1:04:29Speaker 3: dealing with the cosmos, we need our spirituality to translate
- 1:04:32Speaker 3: into a context of wisdom, a context of understanding and
- 1:04:36Speaker 3: knowledge that becomes it becomes evident.
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: To the state.
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: I am convinced that spirituality must translate into a context
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: that produces a level of intelligence that our territory can
- 1:04:50Speaker 3: relate with.
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: Are in agreement on that.
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: So final prayer Point Lord, for this state, for the leaders,
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: and for everyone who is part of this state, Your wisdom,
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: understanding and knowledge upon them.
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: Please lift your voice and pray.

- 1:05:19Speaker 3: Of God, for politicians, the judiciary, the police, the law
- 1:05:25Speaker 3: enforcement agents. We pray for wisdom the ability to translate
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: spiritual truth to a context.
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: That can improve and better society.
- 1:05:37Speaker 3: In the name of Jesus Christ, by the privilege of
- 1:05:40Speaker 3: priesthood and by the privilege of the election of Grace,
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: I led my voice with every man of God, every
- 1:05:47Speaker 3: minister of the Gospel here represented and in this state.
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: And I joined my faith with you to speak.
- 1:05:52Speaker 3: Over the state that in the name that is above
- 1:05:55Speaker 3: all names, led it the new season for this state.
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: In the name of Jesus, I pray for its excellency
- 1:06:02Speaker 3: and all the cabinet members. I decree and declare supernatural
- 1:06:06Speaker 3: wisdom from the Spirit.
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: In the name of Jesus Christ.
- 1:06:10Speaker 3: I pray for all who are part of this state,
- 1:06:13Speaker 3: it will only be for you from glory to glory.
- 1:06:16Speaker 3: By prophecy, we fortify the spiritual borders over Aquibomb. Darkness
- 1:06:20Speaker 3: terroorism will never penetrate this system. We command the head
- 1:06:25Speaker 3: to charge the evil to us in.
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: The name of Jesus Christ. Let the decline.
- 1:06:31Speaker 3: Let there be a multiplied decline in moral decadems in
- 1:06:36Speaker 3: the name of Jesus Christ. Let the young men and
- 1:06:38Speaker 3: women in this stage continue to be responsible people. I
- 1:06:42Speaker 3: decree and declare that Acquiebomb will only go from glory
- 1:06:45Speaker 3: to glory.
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: And grace to grace. Let it be so in the
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: name of Jesus. Let it be so in the name of.
- 1:06:52Speaker 3: Jesus that decades after now, Acquiebomb will not look like
- 1:06:56Speaker 3: a shadow of itself. It will only be an improvement
- 1:06:59Speaker 3: from glory to glory. In Jesus' name, I pray thank
- 1:07:04Speaker 3: you once again for the honor to bring the word.
- 1:07:06Speaker 3: The Lord blessed you in Jesus Nay
