- 0:00SPEAKER_02: Hold on, I want to bring Jordan in for just Jordan.
- 0:02SPEAKER_02: Come back here for a second, but I gotta read a text really quick.
- 0:04SPEAKER_02: 0333.
- 0:06SPEAKER_02: Uh, it's our friend Trisha.
- 0:07SPEAKER_02: She goes, Hey, hey! Lots of ease.
- 0:11SPEAKER_02: Uh, she said, uh, happy Wednesday.
- 0:13SPEAKER_02: It's my birthday.
- 0:14SPEAKER_02: Oh, yay.
- 0:16SPEAKER_02: Can't wait to hear all about uh Ellie's trip.
- 0:18SPEAKER_02: Uh love you both.
- 0:19SPEAKER_02: Okay, well, in the meantime, before we get to this, because I have to come back to what Jordan just said, and then it'll come back to you, is let's go.
- 0:24SPEAKER_02: And a one and a two and a one, two, three.
- 0:27SPEAKER_00: This is your birthday song.
- 0:29SPEAKER_00: It is a very long hey.
- 0:30SPEAKER_02: Somebody's clapping's off, and it really screwed me over.
- 0:33SPEAKER_02: The hell was that?
- 0:34SPEAKER_02: Who was off rhythm?
- 0:36unknown: That was so bad.
- 0:37SPEAKER_02: It was so bad.
- 0:38SPEAKER_00: And she's one of the best listeners ever.
- 0:40SPEAKER_00: I'm so sorry that it was.
- 0:42SPEAKER_00: Who was clapping off beach?
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: I was clapping and you were clapping, and I think we were, I don't know.
- 0:46SPEAKER_00: Were you clapping?
- 0:47SPEAKER_00: No, Jordan wasn't in the office.
- 0:48SPEAKER_02: You weren't clapping?
- 0:49SPEAKER_02: Oh, somebody was way off.
- 0:50SPEAKER_00: All right, Jordan just somebody being me.
- 0:54SPEAKER_00: I'm the only person in the room besides Jordan.
- 0:57SPEAKER_00: Well, hi, I'm here.
- 0:58SPEAKER_00: Oh, okay.
- 0:59SPEAKER_00: So are you saying that you were clapping off beach?
- 1:01SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 1:01SPEAKER_02: I was going, This is your birthday song.
- 1:04SPEAKER_02: It isn't very long.
- 1:05SPEAKER_02: Then all of a sudden I hear in the background the I'm like, what are you slapping over there?
- 1:10SPEAKER_02: Sounds a little off.
- 1:11SPEAKER_02: Uh, okay, so anyway, Jordan just asked off the air, and he's you would say, go ahead, ask the question, Allie.
- 1:17SPEAKER_01: So I just asked you, uh, how was New Orleans and what was the best part?
- 1:20SPEAKER_01: And then your response was Nicolas Cage's tomb.
- 1:24SPEAKER_01: What?
- 1:24SPEAKER_01: Sony's.
- 1:25SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, I forgot that was there.
- 1:27SPEAKER_00: He's alive.
- 1:28SPEAKER_00: One of my girlfriends asked me the exact same thing.
- 1:31SPEAKER_00: She was like, he's still alive, right?
- 1:34SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 1:35SPEAKER_00: Yes, he is still alive, but he purchased a tomb.
- 1:39SPEAKER_00: You know, the it's an above-ground tomb.
- 1:41SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:42SPEAKER_00: It's in the shape of a pyramid, and it's in uh it's called Saint Louis Cemetery number one, and that's where we had our tour.
- 1:50SPEAKER_00: So that's the same place that uh, oh Marie Love.
- 1:54SPEAKER_02: We're not doing the birthday song again.
- 1:56SPEAKER_02: Calm down.
- 1:57SPEAKER_00: But basically, he has so much money that he was able to purchase a tomb in the cemetery because And now you tour his tomb before he's even in it.
- 2:05SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 2:05SPEAKER_00: Isn't that weird?
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: They say he'll probably never actually be put in it.
- 2:09SPEAKER_00: Why?
- 2:10SPEAKER_00: Which is weird, but money really does talk in this thing.
- 2:13SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but why wouldn't you?
- 2:13SPEAKER_02: If you've got it already, I mean, listen, if you've got a plot, do you think we're not throwing you in that?
- 2:17SPEAKER_00: Oh, exactly.
- 2:18SPEAKER_02: Do you have a plot?
- 2:19SPEAKER_02: I never asked you this question.
- 2:20SPEAKER_02: Oh, okay.
- 2:20SPEAKER_02: No, I don't.
- 2:21SPEAKER_01: I just see him coming back from the dead, from the the dead as a ghost and just saying, Oh, I give you guys permission to carry my body between California and New Orleans where I want.
- 2:32SPEAKER_02: Or get on a motorcycle and his head's flaming.
- 2:35SPEAKER_02: When you said ghost, that was a reference to ghost writers.
- 2:38SPEAKER_00: Oh, I didn't understand that at all.
- 2:40SPEAKER_02: He got it.
- 2:40SPEAKER_00: Okay, good.
- 2:41SPEAKER_00: I'm glad somebody did, because it wasn't me.
- 2:43SPEAKER_02: That's all right.
- 2:43SPEAKER_02: But birthday car.
- 2:45SPEAKER_00: I'm just excited for the birthday song, okay?
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 2:49SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 2:49SPEAKER_00: So the tomb, the cemetery tour was definitely one of my favorite things.
- 2:52SPEAKER_00: The Nicolas Cage thing was just funny.
- 2:54SPEAKER_00: That is funny.
- 2:55SPEAKER_00: It's obnoxiously big.
- 2:57SPEAKER_00: It's not even just, hey, here's a little tomb.
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: No, it's this massive pyramid.
- 3:02SPEAKER_02: And as far as the payoff doesn't even pay off because he's not there.
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: And do you know?
- 3:08SPEAKER_00: I think a lot of pre people probably think that same thing.
- 3:11SPEAKER_00: Like, wait a second, is he still alive?
- 3:12SPEAKER_00: Is he not still alive?
- 3:14SPEAKER_00: Also, second best favorite thing, the food.
- 3:17SPEAKER_00: Because I went there at the lowest weight I'd been in quite some time.
- 3:22SPEAKER_00: Because, you know, you get into a happy relationship, you start to gain a little weight.
- 3:25SPEAKER_00: So I got my weight down a little bit.
- 3:27SPEAKER_00: Oh no.
- 3:32SPEAKER_00: I stood on the scale.
- 3:33SPEAKER_00: I gained seven pounds.
- 3:35SPEAKER_00: Oh my God.
- 3:36SPEAKER_00: Seven pounds in five days.
- 3:39SPEAKER_02: Was there a lot of salt in the food and stuff like that?
- 3:41SPEAKER_02: You know, because that could some of that you might have only gained five.
- 3:45SPEAKER_00: Not only salt, but you're eating fried chicken late at night.
- 3:49SPEAKER_00: We ate fried.
- 3:50SPEAKER_00: Oh, I had fried catfish for breakfast one day.
- 3:53SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 3:53SPEAKER_00: But it's so good.
- 3:54SPEAKER_00: So they had it was French toast.
- 3:56SPEAKER_00: It's just a normal breakfast food.
- 3:58SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 3:58SPEAKER_00: And then, okay, what what would you like your side to be?
- 4:01SPEAKER_00: So I'm looking at the size, and one of them was catfish.
- 4:04SPEAKER_00: Three bucks.
- 4:05SPEAKER_00: So I'm like, all right, let me just maybe they'll just give you like a little piece or whatever.
- 4:10SPEAKER_02: Whole damn fish laid out.
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: And I ate the whole thing.
- 4:14SPEAKER_01: It is so good.
- 4:15SPEAKER_01: With French toast.
- 4:16SPEAKER_01: You guys didn't indulge in any uh beignets, did you?
- 4:19SPEAKER_00: Oh yeah, twice.
- 4:20SPEAKER_00: So we went.
- 4:21SPEAKER_00: What's that?
- 4:21SPEAKER_00: It's like uh honestly, it's called uh it's fried dough, basically.
- 4:25SPEAKER_00: It's a fried dough puff with a bunch of powdered sugar on it.
- 4:29SPEAKER_00: So there is this one.
- 4:30SPEAKER_02: So you actually went to the county fair while you were in New Orleans.
- 4:33SPEAKER_00: Pretty much.
- 4:33SPEAKER_00: There is this one place that's famous for it called Cafe Du Monde.
- 4:38SPEAKER_00: We went there and they also have something that has is like a chicory coffee.
- 4:42SPEAKER_00: So the coffee's really strong.
- 4:43SPEAKER_00: Scott, I think you would love it.
- 4:45SPEAKER_02: Oh, I love it.
- 4:45SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it sounds great.
- 4:47SPEAKER_00: I need to bring it in so you can try it.
- 4:48SPEAKER_02: Oh, you brought some back.
- 4:49SPEAKER_00: I oh yeah.
- 4:50SPEAKER_02: Oh yeah, you have to definitely do that.
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: And then we also had beignets somewhere else because some people say, well, Cafe Du Mond's like the touristy one, try it somewhere else.
- 4:58SPEAKER_02: Oh, that makes sense.
- 4:59SPEAKER_00: So we went to another place called Cafe Beignet and from beignon to beignet.
- 5:04SPEAKER_00: And it was it was delicious.
- 5:06SPEAKER_00: They're really good.
- 5:07SPEAKER_00: I I'm not a big sweets person, so I just like took a bite of Zach's and took a bite from my friend Donna.
- 5:12SPEAKER_02: Did you uh uh do jambalaya and stuff like that?
- 5:15SPEAKER_00: I did.
- 5:18SPEAKER_00: Did I?
- 5:18SPEAKER_02: Was that expulsion of gas from your system still?
- 5:22SPEAKER_00: At one point, we did Zach and I shared a meal.
- 5:25SPEAKER_00: It was called Taste of New Orleans.
- 5:27SPEAKER_00: So it had that smart.
- 5:28SPEAKER_00: Oh yeah.
- 5:29SPEAKER_00: It had jambalaya, gumbo, etouffe, and red beans and touffe.
- 5:35SPEAKER_02: I mean, I know A touffé to be honest with you.
- 5:39SPEAKER_00: Most everything is just like a seafood soupy ricey dish.
- 5:43SPEAKER_00: Oh, all right, yeah.
- 5:44SPEAKER_00: So that's that's the basic job.
- 5:45SPEAKER_00: Kind of the thing.
- 5:46SPEAKER_02: Seafood good down there?
- 5:47SPEAKER_02: Because you're right on the golf.
- 5:49SPEAKER_00: Amazing.
- 5:49SPEAKER_00: I had seafood for pretty much every single day.
- 5:51SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that actually is a great question because remember you uh uh you were uh profusely uh vomiting before you left from a weird shrimp.
- 5:59SPEAKER_00: Okay, I have an answer for that, but I'll tell you that next because that's a whole different story.
- 6:04SPEAKER_02: What what the cause to that?
- 6:06SPEAKER_00: I think I know the cause.
- 6:07SPEAKER_02: So did I.
- 6:08SPEAKER_02: It was it was a weird shrimp.
- 6:09SPEAKER_02: It was not.
- 6:10SPEAKER_02: Since we're crossing into the medical transition of the show, I have an update for you on uh my tooth.
- 6:16SPEAKER_00: Um I'm very curious because you said you have a dentist appointment today.
- 6:19SPEAKER_00: I well, good.
- 6:20SPEAKER_02: Well, today's the cleaning, but but just wait because when you hear this, I'm the toughest son of a bitch in this room right now when you hear what happened.
- 6:28SPEAKER_02: You guys are all gonna be like, we boy.
- 6:30SPEAKER_02: You're walking around with what?
- 6:31SPEAKER_00: After after I gaining seven pounds, I am not the toughest.
- 6:35SPEAKER_00: I'm the squishiest in the room.
