Seahawks & COVID destroy 49ers, who face Packers on Thursday Night Foootball
It would be difficult for the San Francisco 49ers to have a more difficult week, which began with a huge loss to the Seattle Seahawks. The Niners didn't just lose the game in embarrassing fashion, they also lost starting quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo and tight end George Kittle to potential season-ending injuries.
The Niners' woes continued as nearly all of their healthy wide receivers -- and their top offensive lineman -- will be inactive for the game, after WR Kendrick Bourne tested positive for COVID-19.
