SPEAKER_01: So today's guest is Jacqueline Shaw.

SPEAKER_01: She is a spiritual mentor, a best-selling author, and a sought-after speaker whose voice carries conviction, clarity, and undeniable authority.

SPEAKER_01: She is the kind of woman who walks into a room and shifts atmospheres, not because she's trying to perform, but because she's anchored in such truth.
• 1:11
SPEAKER_01: Jacqueline has built a movement by refusing to follow trends and choosing instead to lead from divine certainty.

• 1:26
SPEAKER_01: She teaches that visibility is not vanity, it's stewardship.
• 1:30
SPEAKER_01: Perhaps the one thing that I really love when I started to be uh introduced to Jaclyn's work is this line God signs my seven-figure paychecks.
• 1:40
  SPEAKER_01: I think that's a great soundbite.
• 1:42
SPEAKER_01: So welcome, Jacqueline, to the Founder Podcast.
• 1:44
SPEAKER_01: Please feel free to provide any more context to our listeners.
• 1:48
  SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh.
• 1:48
  SPEAKER_00: No, that is incredible.
• 1:50
SPEAKER_00: I love that you love that line.
• 1:52
SPEAKER_00: And I mean, you got me right at the beginning when you said we're gonna go deep today.
• 1:56
SPEAKER_00: Like, deep is where I always go.
• 1:58
SPEAKER_00: And so I'm really excited to be here.
• 2:01
  SPEAKER_01: Awesome.
• 2:02
SPEAKER_01: So I do have a few questions right off the get-go.
• 2:04
SPEAKER_01: I think we'll just jump right in.
• 2:06
SPEAKER_01: Um, I love that you you, I mean, this is your talk.
• 2:08
  SPEAKER_01: You go deep.
• 2:09
SPEAKER_01: Like, let's get rid of all the shallow stuff.
• 2:11
SPEAKER_01: And this podcast, and a lot of my listeners are women that are really working at embodying their next level self and their vision.
• 2:20
SPEAKER_01: And and really most of them are environments that don't have that same support where people don't see them that way.
• 2:26
SPEAKER_01: So they're kind of breaking through and trying to figure out.
• 2:28
SPEAKER_01: But the one thing that I really so, first of all, can you give us a little context around how you came?
• 2:34
SPEAKER_01: Because most people don't come to such certainty in spirituality without some kind of transformation point.
• 2:42
SPEAKER_01: So, in a brief description, can you kind of maybe take us on a little bit of a journey and give us a little bit of context for what you do today?
• 2:50
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, absolutely.
• 2:51
SPEAKER_00: So my first book that I wrote, which is a spiritual memoir, was called Spiritual Smackdown.
• 2:58
SPEAKER_00: And this was in 2016 when I was pregnant with my daughter.
• 3:03
SPEAKER_00: It was one of those, I mean, I call it a spiritual smackdown, like dark night of the soul moments where I was, you know, prior to that, there was like I dabbled in faith.
• 3:13
SPEAKER_00: I dabbled in, you know, communion with spirit, angels, universe.
• 3:17
SPEAKER_00: Like God wasn't the word that I would use then.
• 3:20
SPEAKER_00: And dabbled, but wasn't like wasn't really willing to open myself up like fully spiritually.
• 3:30
SPEAKER_00: And then through, I mean, it's I call it my spiritual smackdown when God spoke.
• 3:34
SPEAKER_00: And so that was the major shift in my in my life, in my personal life.
• 3:40
SPEAKER_00: And then it over the years really transitioned into the way I lead, move, speak in my business as well, because I strongly believe and feel, not just for myself, but for all of us, like it it is our walk with God.
• 3:53
SPEAKER_00: It is our walk with God.
• 3:54
SPEAKER_00: That's what we're here to do, is to be the full expression of who we are, to be unapologetic about it.
• 4:00
SPEAKER_01: So when you say your spiritual smack down, for those that might not understand what that means, like where you like heard the voice of God, is that what you said?
• 4:07
SPEAKER_01: I think that's what you said, right?
• 4:08
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I said when God's when God spoke, yeah.
• 4:11
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, there you go.
• 4:11
SPEAKER_01: When God spoke, um, can you maybe just uh elaborate on that a little bit so that um somebody can maybe recognize that they might be in that same spot?
• 4:19
SPEAKER_01: Like, is it one of those things that like I know what mine, when you said yours, mine is I call it a black door.
• 4:24
SPEAKER_01: I had like a black door moment because I'm in the door business, so everything relates to doors, but it's kind of the same thing, right?
• 4:30
SPEAKER_01: So um, so yeah, if you can elaborate on that a little bit.
• 4:33
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean the quickie version of the story, like my spiritual smackdown was was an experience in my life, but it felt really like it was a calling.
• 4:42
SPEAKER_00: It felt like it was God knocking.
• 4:44
SPEAKER_00: And the reason why it's called a smackdown is I was really blindsided.
• 4:47
SPEAKER_00: I was three months pregnant with my daughter.
• 4:50
SPEAKER_00: My I found out my husband was having an affair.
• 4:53
SPEAKER_00: He moved out, moved down the street with another woman, and I was there with my two-year-olds, pregnant with my daughter, feeling like my life just got flipped upside down and like didn't really know where to turn.
• 5:07
SPEAKER_00: There was so much fear coming in.
• 5:09
SPEAKER_00: And right away I had this knowing, this feeling, this energy moving through me that was like like you're gonna be okay.
• 5:18
SPEAKER_00: And like a very quick call not to step into victimhood.
• 5:21
SPEAKER_00: The tagline of my book is from victim to goddess, and it really is the journey I went on to like go deeper with myself.
• 5:30
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 5:31
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 5:32
  SPEAKER_01: Okay, I love that.
• 5:32
SPEAKER_01: Thank you for elaborating on that.
• 5:34
SPEAKER_01: Because sometimes I think people uh in my experience are either waiting for like, yeah, for like a crack of lightning and God's voice to come like whoa, and and that's they're like, or send me the sign and they don't actually see the sign.
• 5:48
SPEAKER_01: You know what I mean?
• 5:49
SPEAKER_01: Like, yeah, sometimes, and I and I truly believe this through my own walk is there were for me, there were moments where there were promptings, like you said, right?
• 5:57
SPEAKER_01: Like promptings, like you dabbled a little bit, you under, you know, blah, blah, blah.
• 6:01
SPEAKER_01: But there was not that full release and giving in.
• 6:03
SPEAKER_01: And for me, my moment came, my spiritual smack down on a second level, um, came through a physical uh disease that stopped me dead in the tracks.
• 6:14
SPEAKER_01: I felt blindsided, but blindsided by my body.
• 6:17
SPEAKER_01: Whereas so uh, and like for you, like saying blindsided, and that was and so I find that that sometimes it takes something in the physical realm, like running into not that we want that kind of heartache, but that kind of concrete wall smack moment.
• 6:33
SPEAKER_01: So um, thank you for sharing that.
• 6:34
  SPEAKER_01: I know.
• 6:35
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, well, the feel is there with what you said too, is like that's why I said I dabbled in like spirituality before that, but felt like God had kept knocking and knocking and knocking at my door.
• 6:44
SPEAKER_00: And I was like, okay, I'll kind of open it a crack, but I won't really open the door using your door, your door literally use that.
• 6:51
SPEAKER_00: But that's really what it felt like.
• 6:53
SPEAKER_00: And so I call it my smackdown because I was like, my soul was calling for this, and God's like, hey, like here we go.
• 6:58
SPEAKER_00: If this is the only way, then like this is what you're gonna get hit with.
• 7:01
SPEAKER_00: But I found also interesting what you just said there, like people waiting for that like smack of lightning, that bolt of lightning.
• 7:08
SPEAKER_00: For me, my experience with God, even though I say the words like when God spoke, everything changed.
• 7:14
SPEAKER_00: I mean, it wasn't like the voice of God for me is a presence from within, it's like an undeniable presence of God, is what I feel.
• 7:23
  SPEAKER_01: Awesome.
• 7:23
SPEAKER_01: And so then when you now, so over the years you started speaking more boldly on this.
• 7:29
SPEAKER_01: Talk to me a little bit about using your voice for truth, that whole kind of God is writing your paycheck.
• 7:35
SPEAKER_01: Tell me how you made that transition and turned it into now your life's passion.
• 7:40
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, well, honestly, like there were stepping stones into this for me.
• 7:43
SPEAKER_00: Like I began, I began my business, and and I honestly say I fell into, I'm an online business mentor, spiritual mentor.
• 7:50
SPEAKER_00: I talk about God and money everywhere I go.
• 7:53
SPEAKER_00: And I really say I fell into the coaching and mentorship industry because I didn't know it existed.
• 7:58
SPEAKER_00: People were, I had a different business that I had successfully grown.
• 8:02
SPEAKER_00: And then once I had my kids, I completed in that.
• 8:05
SPEAKER_00: And people were like, Why aren't you coaching?
• 8:07
SPEAKER_00: Like you're doing this all the time naturally, anyways.
• 8:09
SPEAKER_00: And so I fell into it and I just went hard on like business coaching.
• 8:13
SPEAKER_00: It was like, yeah, I can teach people how to run a business and how to get going and how to make money.
• 8:16
  SPEAKER_00: Like, absolutely.
• 8:18
SPEAKER_00: And I did that for a few years, and then there was a point where I was like, What am I like not really?
• 8:24
SPEAKER_00: Like, what's the conversation I'm not having?
• 8:26
SPEAKER_00: And through my spiritual smackdown, it very much was lessons in choosing, lessons in surrender, lessons in faith, lessons in noticing where I would, you know, try to control things.
• 8:38
SPEAKER_00: Like there was so much like let go and let God frequency.
• 8:41
SPEAKER_00: And I was doing that in my business, but I wasn't speaking about it.
• 8:45
SPEAKER_00: And so behind things, okay, it's like behind the scenes, it was like God was running my business.
• 8:49
SPEAKER_00: I call God my CEO.
• 8:51
SPEAKER_00: He's like my CEO, my appointment setter, signs my paychecks, but I wasn't bringing that fully forward because I was more in like the strategy of business.
• 9:00
SPEAKER_00: And then I shifted a bit to like I'm gonna bring in energetics and frequency work.
• 9:05
SPEAKER_00: And then there became a point where I was just like, You're actually not being the truth of who you are if you're not bringing God into your business because God is behind your business and He is the energetics.
• 9:15
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it was like your clients deserve to know this.
• 9:17
SPEAKER_00: Like your clients are like here for this, and it became with me, you know, it had to come forward from me being willing to be like, yeah, more powerful in my truth and more powerful with my voice, and just like being willing to stand in conviction of who I am and the presence of God in my life and how I move from that energy.
• 9:36
SPEAKER_01: So, what do you think is the question or the conversation that women aren't having?
• 9:42
SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna say women, it could be people, it doesn't have to be women.
• 9:44
SPEAKER_01: Um what do you think the conversation they should be having that they're not having?
• 9:49
SPEAKER_00: I feel like wherever we leave God out of the conversation.
• 9:52
SPEAKER_00: And so, like for me, we often leave God out of the conversation when it comes to money.
• 9:57
SPEAKER_00: So most women, and I mean I lead mostly women, so we'll just say women, yeah.
• 10:02
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
• 10:03
SPEAKER_00: Most women, most you know, people that I lead, they're they come to me and they're like, I have so much faith.
• 10:08
SPEAKER_00: I have so much faith in God.
• 10:09
SPEAKER_00: I'm in communion with God.
• 10:11
SPEAKER_00: I like let God lead in this way and this way and this way.
• 10:13
SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, and what about when money enters the conversation?
• 10:16
SPEAKER_00: And that's usually when it gets uncomfortable.
• 10:19
SPEAKER_00: It's like, wait, like God and money in the same sentence.
• 10:22
SPEAKER_00: Like, am I am I allowed to like let God provide for me in that way?
• 10:26
SPEAKER_00: Don't I need to be like deserving of this?
• 10:29
  SPEAKER_00: Worthy.
• 10:29
  SPEAKER_00: There we go.
• 10:30
SPEAKER_01: There's that value and worth attachment.
• 10:32
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 10:32
SPEAKER_00: And so it comes in, and like in my world, you're worthy because you are, you're worthy because you are a child of God.
• 10:39
SPEAKER_00: And so we really go through and work through like any limitations that we place in our own field because we create these formulas, these ways, like if X plus Y equals Z, or if I do this, then God's gonna reward me.
• 10:52
SPEAKER_00: This was a big conversation I had in my mastermind yesterday.
• 10:54
SPEAKER_00: Actually, we were diving in and we were talking about money, and a woman came forward and she's like, but like I haven't like I forget the way she worded it, but she's like, but like I haven't done anything to be rewarded yet.
• 11:06
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that whole that whole works mentality.
• 11:08
SPEAKER_01: You have to work for, I mean, I spent a lot of years in organized religion.
• 11:12
SPEAKER_01: Um, and I did some theology study, and that whole like you gotta work for your worthy, your value, that whole, I mean, yeah.
• 11:22
SPEAKER_00: And so it's like you've got to work for your worthiness, you've got to work to be loved, you've gotta work for, I mean, I'm gonna say you've gotta work for your money.
• 11:30
SPEAKER_00: And and trust me, I've like built solid businesses, I've built businesses through hustle.
• 11:35
SPEAKER_00: I've built businesses through like I'm powerful and I can do it all.
• 11:38
SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, and I also know it gets to be so much easier.
• 11:42
SPEAKER_00: Like, I don't have to be sacrificing.
• 11:45
SPEAKER_00: I also have two kids that I, you know, two kids, a family, like that I don't desire for my life to be work 24-7 and figuring out how to do it.
• 11:56
SPEAKER_00: Like, I like my work to feel like it's my passion, like that I could do it all day, every day.
• 12:01
SPEAKER_00: Like I could do it all day, every day.
• 12:02
SPEAKER_00: I can have a conversation like this literally all day, every day.
• 12:05
SPEAKER_00: Like this is my most spiritual work is getting to talk about God in these conversations.
• 12:09
SPEAKER_00: But even though I could talk about it all day, I also love to like live my life and make magic there.
• 12:15
SPEAKER_00: Like I often say, my creating core memories and experiences is my love language.
• 12:20
  SPEAKER_00: Like, how that's not a love language, I don't even know.
• 12:22
SPEAKER_00: Like that for me is my love language.
• 12:24
SPEAKER_00: And so getting to experience all of it.
• 12:27
SPEAKER_00: I truly believe we come to earth as divine beings, having this human experience to experience all that we are.
• 12:35
SPEAKER_01: So let's um let's break down the word God for a minute.
• 12:38
SPEAKER_01: Um, because I think that there's a lot of like you people use different language to introduce it to be not so to be not so like I don't want to say polarizing, but not so convicted in what they think the universe, angels, spiritual, mother earth, whatever it is.
• 12:56
SPEAKER_01: So tell me how you got to a place, how you've identified, and and I'm sure that this comes up a lot because it's really it can be really challenging for people to be like polarizing with a statement.
• 13:08
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, right.
• 13:09
SPEAKER_01: So does that come up and in the work that you do and how you live your life?
• 13:12
SPEAKER_01: And yeah, tell us a little bit about that because I love that.
• 13:15
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 13:15
SPEAKER_00: Well, the word God just in and of itself, like God literally like fell on top of me.
• 13:21
  SPEAKER_00: So, like again, undeniable.
• 13:23
SPEAKER_00: I grew up Catholic in a Catholic background, and I left the church when I was 12 of my own choice.
• 13:29
SPEAKER_00: And my parents were like, What?
• 13:30
SPEAKER_00: Because I honestly like I just couldn't resonate with what I was being taught, and that God is judgmental and punishes and this and that.
• 13:37
SPEAKER_00: And I just remember being like 11, 12 years old and being like, Because I did this, I'm now like gonna go to hell, or if I don't do this, I'm gonna like, you know, it just didn't make sense in your little mind.
• 13:47
SPEAKER_00: It literally didn't make sense to me.
• 13:49
SPEAKER_00: And then, but I always like again, like had this so I explored like maybe it's spirit or universe or this or that.
• 13:57
SPEAKER_00: And on the other side of what I call my spiritual smackdown, I my daughter was one, my son was three.
• 14:03
SPEAKER_00: We were at this cottage that we had rented, and literally we had been living there for for like a month or something like that.
• 14:10
SPEAKER_00: And out of the bookshelf, this book fell on top of me, like fell on my foot.
• 14:15
SPEAKER_00: And it was, yeah, like literally, and it was thick, it was three books in one.
• 14:18
SPEAKER_00: So it was like a thick book, and I picked it up and I was like, Conversations with God, like that is a weird, like, what the hell is this?
• 14:26
SPEAKER_00: But I opened it up and I read a page in the middle of the book, and I was like, Oh my gosh, like, actually, what is this?
• 14:33
SPEAKER_00: Like, this is like the God that I always thought existed.
• 14:36
SPEAKER_00: And so I began studying that body of work.
• 14:40
SPEAKER_00: Um, and so like that was definitely like the beginning of the shift to be like, oh yeah, like no, it is God, and I'm gonna be unapologetic about my experience with God and my relationship with God.
• 14:51
SPEAKER_00: But my biggest shift came when I stopped experiencing God as outside of me, and I started to experience God within me.
• 15:00
SPEAKER_00: Because before, yeah, this is powerful.
• 15:03
SPEAKER_00: Before, like, yeah, no, before for me, like when I experienced God outside of me, it was like because I'm so powerless.
• 15:10
SPEAKER_00: It's like I'm willing to like let go of my God because I'm so powerful, because I'm not enough, because I'm not worthy, because I'm not this.
• 15:16
SPEAKER_00: And then when I started to experience, I say, God, God's from within me.
• 15:20
SPEAKER_00: And so I started to move as like the creator I am, the divine being I am.
• 15:24
SPEAKER_00: I started to really be like this is my walk with God, and not because God is this higher power, it's like because God is like right here, literally walking with me from within me.
• 15:35
  SPEAKER_01: That's a really powerful shift.
• 15:37
SPEAKER_01: Like that, that I just had to take a moment on that, like because so yeah, it feels like and it's probably you know, from like organized religion and you know, different kind of teachings that that God is outside of us.
• 15:54
SPEAKER_01: Uh that He, you know, we have the whatever, the spirit, soul, Holy Spirit, whatever, all that in us, but God is outside of us.
• 16:02
SPEAKER_01: And so there's this real distinction that it's something we someplace we have to approach and look for externally, and to say, like, say that, can you say that again about when you experience God from within?
• 16:17
SPEAKER_01: I just want to pull that as a sound bite, and I want the listeners to really understand that that difference because I think that is so powerful.
• 16:26
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and so for me, it is that shift from outside, like God outside, God is powerful, therefore I am not to like God, God's from within me.
• 16:35
SPEAKER_00: This is my walk with God.
• 16:36
SPEAKER_00: I am a conduit for God, and so this changed the way I speak, it changed the way I move, it changed the way I'm willing to express myself because I'm expressing myself as a vessel of God, as a conduit of God.
• 16:50
SPEAKER_00: And I feel like it's it's actually like my responsibility.
• 16:53
SPEAKER_00: I said this to you before we started this call.
• 16:55
SPEAKER_00: We were talking about how we both love storytelling, and I believe sharing the truth about our lives and our lived experiences is our holy work.
• 17:05
SPEAKER_00: Being the truth of who we are is our holy work, and that can get uncomfortable.
• 17:11
SPEAKER_00: Like I call this my this last year has been a year that I call of like a year of holy fire walks for myself.
• 17:18
SPEAKER_00: I feel like yeah, I mean, I published my first book and then wrote my second book.
• 17:23
SPEAKER_00: And again, I talk about uncomfortable talk books.
• 17:26
SPEAKER_00: I talk about, you know, this my experience of of God and my first mentor.
• 17:32
SPEAKER_00: Well, he told me that my first book was too shameful and I shouldn't publish it when I share the truth about my experience of life.
• 17:39
  SPEAKER_01: My too shameful.
• 17:42
SPEAKER_00: And this is like a very well-known spiritual mentor, very, you know, best-selling author.
• 17:47
SPEAKER_00: And I was like, this is contradictory to your work, but I was like, again, I was like, I can't, I can't change that.
• 17:52
SPEAKER_00: I can't rip out the heart of my story because the story creates the wisdom in the book.
• 17:57
SPEAKER_00: Like, this is my truth, and I want to break the barriers of this is too shameful for women.
• 18:01
SPEAKER_00: So I was like, I am willing to tell this story and I'm willing to stand in the fire of whatever comes at me.
• 18:06
SPEAKER_00: I mean, this has been a big part of my journey.
• 18:08
SPEAKER_00: I'm willing to be misunderstood.
• 18:09
SPEAKER_00: So even in my conversations about God, I'm willing for people to not get it.
• 18:14
SPEAKER_00: Because the ones who do resonate so deeply with me that I transform their lives.
• 18:20
SPEAKER_00: My words, my truth transform their lives, whether they're written through my through my book, whether we come into mentorship together, like they're there for these conversations.
• 18:28
SPEAKER_00: And so people who don't get it, like I'm I'm okay with that.
• 18:31
SPEAKER_00: I'm okay with the misunderstanding because I know that I'm willing to be like that voice, that voice of truth that runs through me.
• 18:37
SPEAKER_00: The second book that I wrote, the editor, my first editor, not my last editor, but my first editor, she like literally her response, like in written comments in my book was, This makes me uncomfortable.
• 18:49
  SPEAKER_00: Change this wording.
• 18:51
SPEAKER_00: You can't talk about God that way.
• 18:53
SPEAKER_00: And I was like, I'm I'm not here to talk about God.
• 18:56
SPEAKER_01: You're like, is that censorship?
• 18:58
SPEAKER_00: Well, but the thing is, is most people want to hear God talked about in a gentle way.
• 19:02
SPEAKER_00: And for me, it's not gentle spirituality.
• 19:04
SPEAKER_00: It's it's like again, being the truth of who we are and being so unapologetic about it.
• 19:10
SPEAKER_00: What I've come to realize this past year is truth in nature is disruptive.
• 19:15
SPEAKER_00: Truth is often very inconvenient, truth is uncomfortable for many.
• 19:20
SPEAKER_00: That doesn't mean that we shouldn't speak it.
• 19:22
SPEAKER_01: Oh, I feel this on so many levels this year for us.
• 19:24
SPEAKER_01: Well, the last probably two years especially.
• 19:26
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's like a different level of when you said like the fire and the it's the dust stop that's happening, the more we claim and keep kind of doubling down in that unapologetically facing the fire.
• 19:39
SPEAKER_01: Um, it really does stir up a lot for the people around you.
• 19:42
SPEAKER_01: But especially if the on the topic of God, like it's just such it creates such um activation for people.
• 19:50
  SPEAKER_01: But you're absolutely right.
• 19:51
SPEAKER_01: For those, you know, that's just could be part of their journey to get to that place, right?
• 19:55
SPEAKER_01: You could, and I and I said this, I went through a real like blind side in my business recently.
• 20:01
SPEAKER_01: And um, it was pretty, it was pretty, it was pretty devastating.
• 20:05
SPEAKER_01: And um, and I had said at one point, listen, if I have to be the villain in your story, in order for you to have recognized that there's more for you in this life than you thought, then that then that's that's the role I play in your in your life, and and I'm okay with that.
• 20:24
  SPEAKER_00: Now my gosh.
• 20:25
SPEAKER_00: I like I literally have goosebumps right now.
• 20:27
SPEAKER_00: I'll just like touch on this quickly and then hand it back over to you.
• 20:30
SPEAKER_00: But I went through a huge disruption in a business and a partnership three months ago, and I literally said those exact words.
• 20:37
SPEAKER_00: It was like, I am willing to be the villain in this in in your story.
• 20:40
SPEAKER_00: Like, I am willing to be the villain.
• 20:42
SPEAKER_00: People ask, like, why don't you defend yourself?
• 20:44
SPEAKER_00: Why don't you like that?
• 20:45
  SPEAKER_00: Those are lies.
• 20:46
SPEAKER_00: Because there was a lot of lies, like actual lies told about me that yes, I could defend myself.
• 20:51
SPEAKER_00: Yes, I could prove otherwise.
• 20:52
SPEAKER_00: And I was like, I'm actually willing to be the villain in the story right now, and I'm just gonna double down on my my mission instead of trying to rewrite that I'm not the villain.
• 21:01
  SPEAKER_01: Right.
• 21:02
SPEAKER_01: Okay, so this is exactly so this is exactly it.
• 21:05
SPEAKER_01: Uh it's happened to both my husband and I in different ways, but it impacts us both, especially in this uh this chapter of our life.
• 21:13
SPEAKER_01: And recently I had somebody say, Well, are you gonna, are you going to say something?
• 21:19
SPEAKER_01: And I it's so funny because back in back in my young mother days, I mean, I was a homeschooler, we were religious fanatics, like all that kind of stuff.
• 21:27
SPEAKER_01: We walked around with WWJD everywhere.
• 21:30
SPEAKER_01: And there's been a number of years since I've parted from that kind of like um hardcore compliance, let's say.
• 21:37
SPEAKER_01: But this experience what took me to a different level.
• 21:41
SPEAKER_01: And I actually returned to a and I what I was like, wait, is this a WWJD moment coming back to me?
• 21:48
  SPEAKER_01: Like, wait a second.
• 21:50
SPEAKER_01: And not that I, you know, I didn't want to position myself as like, oh, I'm just being persecuted, but I did take the moment to think of the betrayal of Judas, of Judas.
• 22:00
SPEAKER_01: Jesus and what did Jesus do when Judas betrayed him?
• 22:03
SPEAKER_01: He didn't stop and try to convince him.
• 22:06
SPEAKER_01: He didn't try to tell a story and a narrative to everybody else.
• 22:09
SPEAKER_01: He didn't try to repair the relationship, even.
• 22:13
SPEAKER_01: He continued on with his truth and his mission.
• 22:16
SPEAKER_01: And so it was, it was kind of not lost on me.
• 22:18
SPEAKER_01: I was like, oh I'm and I literally had to remind myself and bring on these mantras because they can also take you off guard a little bit, right?
• 22:27
SPEAKER_01: And then you're like, then you have to realize, oh, wait a second.
• 22:30
SPEAKER_01: I have to always take the high road.
• 22:32
SPEAKER_01: This is my calling, my calling.
• 22:34
SPEAKER_01: And sometimes because everywhere I've del everywhere I've grown and gone, somebody doesn't like what I'm doing.
• 22:42
SPEAKER_01: It triggers them, activates them, and it shows them that they want more, whatever that is.
• 22:48
SPEAKER_01: And so now I'm like, okay, I can be the villain.
• 22:51
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that was exactly like that.
• 22:52
SPEAKER_00: Has been exactly my feels.
• 22:54
  SPEAKER_00: It's like, I was like, I can't let this distract me.
• 22:56
SPEAKER_00: I can't let this slow me down.
• 22:57
SPEAKER_00: Like, can I actually get louder in my mission?
• 22:59
SPEAKER_00: Can I go all in on my voice, my truth?
• 23:03
SPEAKER_00: This is when I was birthing new offers into the world that were again another another level of me being unapologetic in who I am.
• 23:10
SPEAKER_00: Like they're called get paid by God, which is a free offer, a mastermind called Employed by God.
• 23:14
SPEAKER_00: God speaks is a daily attainment.
• 23:16
SPEAKER_00: Like it was just like, can I be more of who I am versus like hiding here?
• 23:21
SPEAKER_00: And wildly enough, I just have to tell you this right now where you went in the conversation.
• 23:26
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I love it.
• 23:27
SPEAKER_00: When I posted on Instagram, like probably an hour before this, says, Do you know who else was and is wildly misunderstood?
• 23:35
  SPEAKER_00: Jesus.
• 23:35
SPEAKER_00: And it didn't stop him.
• 23:37
  SPEAKER_00: Oh, yes.
• 23:38
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
• 23:39
SPEAKER_00: Like, of course, right before this conversation, like, but that's the energy that I am like just feeling.
• 23:44
SPEAKER_00: It's like what you just shared, it's what I shared.
• 23:45
SPEAKER_00: It's like, we we can't let being misunderstood, and this is such a thing for again.
• 23:51
SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna say women in business, but humans in general.
• 23:54
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, we fear being misunderstood, we fear being judged, we fear people not getting it, we fear it not making making sense to everyone else.
• 24:03
SPEAKER_00: And so we hold back, we restrict our truth, we contract in our energy field, we don't say the thing that we're really here to say, and that's not the calling.
• 24:11
SPEAKER_01: So then how do you how how would you um encourage somebody or how um to know the difference between the God within you that's and versus your ego and what's I'm like this is a whole other podcast.
• 24:27
  SPEAKER_00: No, right?
• 24:28
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, I know.
• 24:28
SPEAKER_00: Like I I mean for me, the ego wants to be right.
• 24:34
SPEAKER_00: The ego is like you said, not not willing to be the villain.
• 24:38
SPEAKER_00: And so, like, I if I wanted to be right, it would have shifted how I've operated.
• 24:42
SPEAKER_00: I mean, in my spiritual smackdown, in the experience that we just talked about, yeah, publishing my books.
• 24:47
SPEAKER_00: It's like I don't need to so if you're trying to convince anyone, if you're trying to be right, if you're trying to win the argument when self-righteousness kicks in because they deserve it, or because you should be the one who's like there to punish them.
• 25:01
SPEAKER_00: You can't let them get away with it.
• 25:03
  SPEAKER_00: Like that's all ego.
• 25:06
SPEAKER_00: Like when you're in judgment of anyone else, that's ego.
• 25:11
  SPEAKER_01: That's beautiful.
• 25:12
SPEAKER_01: So you wouldn't say that that's be like some sometimes people like, well, I'm not gonna let so and so like blah blah blah, me or whatever.
• 25:20
SPEAKER_01: So would that be the difference between so some people think taking that step of defending whatever that is, that's their them defending and not being a victim?
• 25:32
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, right.
• 25:33
SPEAKER_01: So sometimes people think not saying anything is being a victim.
• 25:37
SPEAKER_00: So again, it depends the energy of this as well.
• 25:40
SPEAKER_00: And so for me, it's it's actually neither.
• 25:42
SPEAKER_00: It's like, can I just actually be the truth of who I am within this experience?
• 25:46
SPEAKER_00: And so the question always comes back to who am I choosing to be?
• 25:51
SPEAKER_00: No matter what experience it is, who am I choosing to be?
• 25:54
SPEAKER_00: Who am I choosing to be within this experience?
• 25:56
SPEAKER_00: Do I dip into victimhood?
• 25:57
SPEAKER_00: Do I dip into villainhood?
• 25:59
SPEAKER_00: Because if you're operating from the victim, that's also not you being the truth of who you are.
• 26:03
SPEAKER_00: And so this is why I come back to this saying again and again and again.
• 26:09
SPEAKER_00: It's my walk with God, my walk with God and who I'm choosing to be in any given moment.
• 26:14
SPEAKER_00: Am I choosing to be love?
• 26:17
SPEAKER_00: Am I choosing to see through the lens of God?
• 26:20
SPEAKER_00: And for me, the lens of God is the lens of love where it is seeing someone at a soul-to-soul level.
• 26:26
SPEAKER_00: Now, I think the fear that people come into with this is like, well, everyone just gets away with everything then, and you're not holding anyone accountable and blah, blah, blah, blah.
• 26:35
SPEAKER_00: It's that doesn't mean that you get to remain in my life.
• 26:38
SPEAKER_00: That doesn't mean anything, but I'm just gonna like stand in who I am.
• 26:42
SPEAKER_00: Again, I'm gonna get louder in my in my mission.
• 26:45
SPEAKER_00: You want to tell lies, you want to tell lies.
• 26:46
SPEAKER_00: I trust that that's gonna get, you know, sorted for you as well, but I'm not letting that create interference for me.
• 26:53
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's beautiful.
• 26:55
SPEAKER_00: Um we sit in victimhood, you know, when we sit in victimhood and decide we need to punish people, we need to hold somebody else accountable.
• 27:02
  SPEAKER_00: Like that's the piece.
• 27:03
SPEAKER_00: Like, I don't need to hold anyone else accountable.
• 27:05
SPEAKER_00: I need to hold myself accountable for who I say I am.
• 27:08
  SPEAKER_01: Wow, I love that.
• 27:10
  SPEAKER_01: I love it.
• 27:10
SPEAKER_01: It's just that it really just puts that radical responsibility back onto yourself, which radical responsibility allows you to have all of the power, not in a power tripping way, but it removes that victimhood.
• 27:24
  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
• 27:25
SPEAKER_00: And I often, yeah, and this for me is that walk with God energy.
• 27:30
SPEAKER_00: It's oftentimes like where you see where you're about to step into victimhood, where you see where you're about to control things to like have an outcome, where you're about to like manipulate the energetic so this person like gets what's coming to them, they get punished when when fear kicks in, when shame kicks in, when guilt kicks in.
• 27:50
SPEAKER_00: I see all of that as a gift from God.
• 27:52
SPEAKER_00: It's like, wait a second, the fear's a gift from God, yes.
• 27:54
SPEAKER_00: The shame's a gift from God, yes, because guess what it's showing you?
• 27:58
SPEAKER_00: God's literally like, here, let me show you exactly where your limitation lies.
• 28:03
SPEAKER_00: Let me show you exactly where you're not operating, like as who you truly are, and you have an opportunity right now to shift this, to recode this, to break through here.
• 28:14
SPEAKER_00: That's when the responsibility then comes on on onto you.
• 28:17
SPEAKER_00: That radical responsibility you were just talking about.
• 28:19
SPEAKER_00: God's like, I have so clearly shown you right now, I've done my part, you do yours.
• 28:23
  SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
• 28:24
  SPEAKER_01: Oh, this is beautiful.
• 28:25
SPEAKER_01: You're speaking to my soul.
• 28:26
SPEAKER_01: We're quickly running out of time.
• 28:28
SPEAKER_01: Where can people find more of you?
• 28:29
SPEAKER_01: I know you have your own podcast, so we'll make sure we put stuff in our notes as well so people can.
• 28:34
SPEAKER_01: But where can people start to get to know you and hang out with you a little bit online?
• 28:38
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, the Jaclyn Shaw show is my podcast.
• 28:41
SPEAKER_00: Instagram is the social media site I hang out on most.
• 28:44
  SPEAKER_00: It's it's the dot Jacqueline Shaw.
• 28:47
SPEAKER_00: I am rebuilding there because Meta just deleted all of my social media accounts.
• 28:52
SPEAKER_00: So that's but honestly, again, holy fire moment.
• 28:56
SPEAKER_00: I'm like using this, I am rebuilding.
• 28:58
SPEAKER_00: So it is a very potent time to be in my field on social media.
• 29:03
SPEAKER_00: So definitely come follow there.
• 29:05
SPEAKER_00: And I mean, for this, if this conversation particularly is resonating, and God and money is a conversation that anyone wants to have, I would highly suggest coming into my free offer.
• 29:18
SPEAKER_00: It's called Get Paid by God.
• 29:19
  SPEAKER_00: Okay.
• 29:20
  SPEAKER_00: Three days.
• 29:21
SPEAKER_00: Day one is really powerful in a lot of what we've talked about here, like really harnessing your personal power, coming into that communion with the God within so that you're not leaking energy all over the place, that your power is not based on circumstances or results.
• 29:35
SPEAKER_00: And then we go into we go deeper into the money conversation, the God signing my seven-figure paychecks conversation, and that that it's three days, it's epic, it's free, so it's an incredible place to oh, awesome!
• 29:47
SPEAKER_01: I really encourage all my listeners.
• 29:48
SPEAKER_01: Jackson, I love this conversation.
• 29:50
SPEAKER_01: It really spoke to my soul.
• 29:51
SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna take clippets of it and use it in in uh my own life.
• 29:56
SPEAKER_01: Thank you so much for your time.
• 29:57
SPEAKER_01: This time went by so fast.
• 29:59
SPEAKER_01: I would love to have you back on the show.
• 30:01
SPEAKER_01: And I can't wait for all you ladies out there to listen and get to know Jacqueline.
• 30:05
SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh, thank you so much.
• 30:07
SPEAKER_00: I would love to like this conversation.
• 30:08
SPEAKER_00: Like I literally said, this feels like my most spiritual work.
• 30:11
SPEAKER_00: I feel like you and I just, yeah, right away clicked in on this.
• 30:16
SPEAKER_00: So I would love to have more and more and more conversations as well.
• 30:19
  SPEAKER_01: Awesome.
