- 1:47And welcome back to TV Boundary Corner Podcast, a part of the
- 1:50College Huddle Network, along with my partners Brian Siegel
- 1:53and Jonathan Talley. And maybe later, a shelter.
- 1:56Moss, I don't know. We thought he was coming, and
- 1:59then he's not here yet. But Shelton's a busy guy.
- 2:02I am Curtis Wilson and as always, we are brought to you by
- 2:05Doctor Jeremy Counts down at the Counts Family Pharmacy, your
- 2:09friendly neighborhood pharmacy three O 1 S Main St. in
- 2:12Blacksburg. We are also brought to you by
- 2:15moments on the Moray. Do you need a weekend getaway to
- 2:19sit by the river and have drinks by the campfire after a hokie's
- 2:23lost? Well, also the more we're down
- 2:25in Lansing in Virginia may be your spot all God by Hokie, who
- 2:30is also constantly texting me and he's pissed about all the
- 2:34situations that are currently going on.
- 2:37It is a little over an hour from Blacksburg.
- 2:39If you want to do that drive as far as in state.
- 2:42You can be there any matter of two hours just from about
- 2:44anywhere. If you're listening to us inside
- 2:46the state of Virginia, like I said, you can still fish and you
- 2:49still kayak, canoe, but sitting by the river with a nice fire
- 2:53pit and a nice drinking hand to throw things, that is also
- 2:58wonderful. Check out the link in the
- 3:00comments section or on Instagram at Moments on the Maori.
- 3:04I can't wait for Phil to hear that one and give me feedback.
- 3:10Need to drown your sorrows after a Hokies loss?
- 3:13Head down to moments on the. Moon, fire, pitch, beer and
- 3:17rhythm. Wonderful ways to soothe the
- 3:19soul after a crushing the feet. Oh man, I got to throw this one
- 3:23up real quick. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 3:28Probably. And the Hokies do have another
- 3:3115 yard penalty, yes. Yes, we do.
- 3:33It's. Literally as any Anytime we say
- 3:35a line, the Hokies just got another personal foul or.
- 3:39It led to a touch. Some sort of dumbass.
- 3:40Penalty. It led to a touchdown.
- 3:42We will hit that later. But Tally, you shaking your
- 3:45head, you ain't saying anything. What you doing man?
- 3:49Man, it ain't nothing to say, man.
- 3:50You know, we fought a coach. We know what we in for.
- 3:55It was bad Saturday, you know, I'll just start by saying the
- 4:00guys that are playing are playing hard and I know we'll
- 4:03touch on some stuff later on 100.
- 4:06Percent. But tonight, before we get into
- 4:10that, as always, we are going to get to know the enemy with a
- 4:14funny son of a bitch already. I'm going to say we were talking
- 4:17before he jumped on. He made me laugh numerous times,
- 4:22tried to make me feel better one time.
- 4:23I don't know if that's going to work right now, that's going to
- 4:26work right now. But anyway, hey, wreck talk.
- 4:31Put him on the line, put him in the video chat.
- 4:33He is our Georgia Tech guy. How's it going?
- 4:37Love the headband by the way. You had to put the headband on.
- 4:40I was sweating with anticipation to get on here.
- 4:43So I played pickleball with the Clemson fan Pigskin Pete, and I
- 4:48thought, hey, put the headband on, man.
- 4:50Like, look, I know about misery. No one knows misery like rec
- 4:55talk. And when you have a channel,
- 4:57people don't realize how low the lows are, right?
- 5:00Because you'll be doing a live stream.
- 5:02Everyone is hate watching you. So you go from like 100 people
- 5:06to 300 that are just there to trash you.
- 5:08And that is the life of YouTube, I guess.
- 5:12But yeah, how you guys doing? Yeah.
- 5:16Man, right now I'm trying to figure out exactly to what
- 5:21degree that I get to be a hater for the rest of the season.
- 5:24Because when when you got a team like Virginia, Texas, like at
- 5:27some point you're just trying to like pick people in the college
- 5:30sports world. Who am I going to hate on?
- 5:31So I can feel a little bit better about my situation.
- 5:34And you brought up a good one just before we jumped on here.
- 5:36Oh. God, yeah.
- 5:38What you. All saying you were like listen
- 5:41y'all ain't. You're not blue to Bill with
- 5:44North Carolina. I mean that he doesn't have a
- 5:47Blue 2. Sponsorship is a crime against
- 5:51humanity in and of itself. Two different people have tried
- 5:54to make documentaries on this complete shit show that is Tar
- 5:58Heel Nation and both have been canceled.
- 6:00One because of his 23 year old girlfriend.
- 6:03I mean this. Who could have seen that this
- 6:06wasn't going to work out? The man that hadn't coached
- 6:07college football. And this is true.
- 6:09I'm not even making this up. I'm a certified ball knower.
- 6:12I couldn't have wrote that by myself.
- 6:13That's all the way over there. I'm all the way over here.
- 6:16He hasn't coached college football since before we landed
- 6:20on the moon. These guys are addicted to
- 6:22hiring geriatric patients that parade around as head coaches.
- 6:26So I don't know. I mean, at least you're do you
- 6:29are doing better than that you. Know what?
- 6:32It could always be worse. We can all we can always we can
- 6:37always be a little bit further in the cellar.
- 6:40It's, it's it's just one of those things that's frustrating
- 6:42the the time in college football that this is happening to
- 6:45Virginia Tech seems to be not not the best time, but hopefully
- 6:53we can get things get the ship righted with with some new, new
- 6:56staff coming in here and things like that.
- 6:58But. We got, we got to put this up.
- 7:00For right now. Man, that, that guy right there,
- 7:03man. My, it's like my dad told me
- 7:06because I, you know, I was an idiot, girl.
- 7:08I still am an idiot. My dad, you said, boy, there's
- 7:11something bad wrong with you, you know, and he just kind of
- 7:14stopped having anything to do with me for a minute.
- 7:16There's something bad wrong with Jeff Collins.
- 7:18In fact, I saw on your message boards before he went to North
- 7:22Carolina, you, some of your fans were tossed around hiring them
- 7:25as DC. You called me before you hired
- 7:28Jeff Collins. We'll do that.
- 7:31Well, let's get into it because we got to talk about your team.
- 7:34And as these two teams get ready to meet down in downtown Atlanta
- 7:39Saturday afternoon, 3:00 will you be in attendance?
- 7:43Yeah, I'll be there. I'll be in Atlanta.
- 7:45I'll be. In fact, we gifted some tickets,
- 7:48so I'm going to go around. There's a guy that's an idiot
- 7:50that sat behind me the other during the Clemson game and
- 7:54yelled for the backup quarterback to come in.
- 7:56So I'm going to go tell him, give him the old what's there,
- 7:58Fred? But I'll be there.
- 8:01Nice. Tally, did you decide?
- 8:04I know you've been playing with driving over from Huntsville.
- 8:06Are you going to go? Yeah, still on the fence.
- 8:11I don't know just yet. We'll know for sure tomorrow.
- 8:14I don't. Know we're talking about it.
- 8:18It's only a 2 hour drive, so he just wakes up that morning.
- 8:20He wants to go, He'll drive and find a ticket.
- 8:22I'll let it go. There you go.
- 8:25You need a. Ticket go to the strip club.
- 8:28Go to the strip. Club over there.
- 8:31I've got 4 tickets now if you want one.
- 8:36Well, me and my wife was going to go, so I may need, I do.
- 8:38I may need to, yeah. I will talk with you a little
- 8:41bit after the show for sure. Yeah, they, they're closing down
- 8:45all the, all the gentlemen's establishments we like, but I, I
- 8:50will find some for you. Look up Claremont Lounge.
- 8:53That's where we'll end up going with.
- 8:57The two meetings of the Live from the Boundary Corner podcast
- 9:01and Rec Talk go downtown Atlanta.
- 9:05There has to be photos of this tally, so please, please I'm.
- 9:08Going to tell you right now there ain't going to be no
- 9:10pickleball playing. I got I got one good thrust in
- 9:14me and then I'm done. I.
- 9:17Fall out under no pressure you admitting this live on the
- 9:21Internet for everybody the. Pickleball is done.
- 9:27Yeah, man. Well, it's like Vegas, you know,
- 9:29I won't tell nobody. I mean, if you don't so.
- 9:35Let's pull this back in. I don't know how I'm I'm
- 9:38cracking up over here. Yeah, so Virginia football.
- 9:43Well, let's talk about y'all man, because I'm, I'm, I'm going
- 9:46to start on offense because good Lord almighty Haynes King.
- 9:50You know what tally you said? Say what you said a few weeks
- 9:53ago about Haynes King and why you loved him so much, about how
- 9:57he's. Playing tough.
- 9:58He's a tough motherfucker, man. Like he just wants to win.
- 10:02If I was our coach or whoever is running the team out every week,
- 10:07I would put videos of Hayes King on the screen and say Kyron,
- 10:12either you do that or you got to come sit down, buddy.
- 10:16He is running the ball. If he has any opening, he is
- 10:20running the ball and they don't want to hit him.
- 10:24I don't even know how big the kid is, but I do know that
- 10:27defense don't want to hit him after about two quarters.
- 10:31So may not be the conventional way to use a quarterback.
- 10:35But he is a Georgia Tech legend by how he plays football.
- 10:39Got to love him man. Yeah, man.
- 10:44So, so rectal, what are you feeling this year?
- 10:47Any different? I mean, part of all he, he is
- 10:50playing unbelievable. He is like what Tally just said.
- 10:53He is playing. Like in five years, when he
- 10:56walks back in the stadium, it's going to be like, there's the
- 10:58God. Holy fucking shit.
- 11:00It's Haynes King. Yeah.
- 11:02Yeah, I mean, he's a guy that walks in a room.
- 11:04His wiener's been there for 10 minutes already.
- 11:06You know, he's one of them type guys.
- 11:08And here's the thing, Haynes King is a phenomenal player and
- 11:14I might catch shit from my own fan base.
- 11:16He's not really a quarterback like he does throw and he has
- 11:20had serious injury issues. He's just, he's a certified ball
- 11:24player. He's just a ball player.
- 11:25He's a tough son of a gun. You don't really know what
- 11:28you're getting with them. Sometimes, though, like, you
- 11:31know, we did lose against Georgia last year.
- 11:33But I mean, he had like 400 yards of offense against Georgia
- 11:37by himself, won the game against Colorado, spotting them three
- 11:42turnovers by himself. But like then we just refused to
- 11:47play for 1/2 against Wake Forest for some reason.
- 11:51So I don't know, like my thing with Haynes is like he's never
- 11:54going to be 100% healthy. Like he's going to be something
- 11:57but maybe is 80% now is Max. It's like in NCAA 26 y'all play
- 12:02that he you don't know how red he is.
- 12:08Sometimes it's just like the sun just burning there.
- 12:13But now he's a good one. And you know, we have a really
- 12:17good backup, too, if we do have to use them.
- 12:19And Aaron Philo broke Trevor Lawrence's record in Georgia and
- 12:22high school. You got some good supporting
- 12:24cast members and Jamal Haynes and Malachi Hosley at running
- 12:28back. One guy you probably don't know
- 12:30about is a guy named Isaiah Canyon.
- 12:32That's a place wide receiver. He's he's a OK now.
- 12:39Go ahead and roll on him because it was one of the guys we wanted
- 12:42to talk about was Isaiah Canyon. And I mean kid, I mean y'all got
- 12:46him straight out of high school. What second year?
- 12:49True sophomore. Already.
- 12:51This year, man. He probably would have played
- 12:54before now. He tore his labrum his senior
- 12:56year in high school. But he's just big.
- 12:59Like, as bad as Clemson is right now, like their defense has that
- 13:05probably at least five guys are going to get drafted off their
- 13:08defense. And he was dragged.
- 13:10All of them. He was dragging them.
- 13:11He's 64, probably 2-10, something like that.
- 13:16We haven't used them quite as much.
- 13:18Eric Rivers, he was all American.
- 13:19That came out of FIU that we kind of swapped with.
- 13:23We lost Eric Singleton, junior to Auburn.
- 13:26So offensively, like if we hit on all cylinders, like we got
- 13:30guys that can play. I think we're first in the
- 13:32conference and sacks allowed. We've given up the least amount
- 13:36of sacks. Y'all.
- 13:37Are like top 15 in the country and sacks allowed.
- 13:39Y'all are unbelievable. Yeah, and part of that is an
- 13:42artifact of the offense that we run.
- 13:45You know, I'm not saying we have the best offensive line in the
- 13:47country. Miami might might have that.
- 13:51But yeah, the the problems for Georgia Tech are going to be
- 13:53defensively. There are definitely things you
- 13:55could exploit on us defensively. Well.
- 13:59Let me Well, you probably ain't going to have to worry about it
- 14:01much this week. I'll go ahead and tell you.
- 14:06Let me throw one other name out there on office because you
- 14:08mentioned him, but I want to ask how important it is this year is
- 14:12Malachi Hosley because Haynes was here last year and Hanes had
- 14:17a great season. How much, how important is it
- 14:19for what y'all do to have that basically third runner on the
- 14:23field that can do whatever he wants whenever he wants?
- 14:26Because if you ask me, watching all the games, we know what
- 14:30Hanes is going to do. We know what Hanes is going to
- 14:33do. But when you have that third guy
- 14:36and it's like, you know what? We still can do.
- 14:37We can still run it right at you with our third guy, and he's
- 14:40just as damn good as these first two.
- 14:43Yeah, that's not just a Georgia Tech thing.
- 14:44I mean, every team in the country's got to have three
- 14:47running backs that can go and you're going to, you're going to
- 14:50have three. Well, you need to, if you're
- 14:52going to have sustained success, you need 3 running backs and go.
- 14:55One of them's going to get banged up at a minimum for any
- 14:57team throughout the season. But yeah, Jamal hangs.
- 15:01He actually pulled something, I don't know how serious it is in
- 15:04warm ups before. Wait.
- 15:05So we'll see. He didn't have a good game last
- 15:08week, but Malachi Hosley, the guy that came out of Penn, I
- 15:11think he's from Roswell, GA or something like that, Roswell
- 15:13Alpharetta. He he's a guy that as soon as
- 15:16they put like pads on it, practice like he just started
- 15:19running by people. He's not big, but he's really
- 15:23important. And then you get into we get
- 15:25like Chad Alexander back, Trollane Maddox, some other guys
- 15:28that you know, can distribute that load because you can't just
- 15:32bang Jamal Haynes for, you know, all game.
- 15:36You know, you got to, you got to take some weight off his
- 15:38shoulders. Yeah, I mean.
- 15:42Yeah, and you, like you said, you got a, you got 2 running
- 15:45backs there that can, can make a little bit of noise for you.
- 15:48Let's pull back a little bit and talk about the offensive
- 15:52coordinator, Buster Faulkner. When it when it, when it comes
- 15:55to scheme and game plan. Like what does he bring to the
- 15:57table? I know you know, he's a
- 15:58coordinator. He also coaches tight ends for
- 16:00y'all right? So what?
- 16:02What's his? What's his biggest yeah benefit
- 16:06that he brings to the team from a scheme standpoint?
- 16:09So he so it is interesting usually your OC is your
- 16:12quarterbacks coach at almost every school.
- 16:15We have Chris Winky, though, on staff that's really good with
- 16:18quarterbacks. Buster.
- 16:20One thing that he does like and if you watch Georgia Tech at
- 16:23all, almost every play has motion in it lot of motion to
- 16:27get as much information from the defense as you can like the guys
- 16:30running with the slot to the other side of the field.
- 16:32All right, they're probably in man right.
- 16:36He also does a lot of very, I don't know if innovative is the
- 16:41right word. He does a lot of interesting
- 16:42things in the run game, like he'll pull a tight end and
- 16:45tackle on a play on like a quarterback power or something.
- 16:49So Buster is very good at tailoring to the strengths of
- 16:54his teammate. The way he uses Haynes King is
- 16:57ideal for the most part. Like, yeah, you're going to you
- 16:59might stuff some of this power option stuff situationally, but
- 17:05he's going to find a way to to get Haynes King is his rushing
- 17:09yards. And then you know, some
- 17:12interesting past concepts on the back end of it, right, Like
- 17:15throwing it, throwing it deep to damn.
- 17:18I can't remember his name now. We just talked about a big 6
- 17:20foot 4 kid, Isaiah Canyon, right, stretching, stretching
- 17:23the field and then and then running it back on the
- 17:25quarterback power. So I think he calls, you know, a
- 17:29really good game for the most part.
- 17:30Didn't didn't really show against weight last week.
- 17:33But I mean, look, Buster's one of the most popular names and
- 17:36and coaching hires right now and he was last season as well.
- 17:42Nice. Any anything else on offense?
- 17:46Anybody else on offense we have not mentioned that jumps out to
- 17:49you? You've mentioned a bunch of
- 17:50names. I mean, I wanted to talk about
- 17:52Haines King, obviously Jamal Haines and Hosley and he threw
- 17:55up Canyon. And I was like, well, as there's
- 17:58a guy I wanted to hear about and now I'm hearing, well, he's 64,
- 18:02he's 215. He ragdolls defensive backs,
- 18:05yes. Yeah, I mean, I guess the the
- 18:09only other thing I'll say, and I don't even know what to to make
- 18:13of this is in more than one press conference, Brent Key
- 18:17said. Yet, you know, the more hurt
- 18:19Haynes King is, the better he plays, which has been true.
- 18:24It was true way, you know, it was true.
- 18:26Like as soon as he starts pulling this dumb and ass
- 18:29routine, he'd ends up running for 45 yard touchdown or
- 18:33something. So take make that what you will.
- 18:38It seems like he just got that gamer button.
- 18:40Like as soon as he is in those crunch time situations he makes
- 18:43the most of it and just gets gets the job done.
- 18:45It's what Tally has said numerous times.
- 18:48There are certain guys, they're never going to make it pro.
- 18:52Now you're in the area of college football, right?
- 18:55You can make a shit ton of money and you can submit your
- 18:58legendary status. Yeah, it doesn't matter.
- 19:02Look at Tim Tebow. He he was never going to be an
- 19:04NFL starting quarterback for any length of time.
- 19:07He's one of the greatest college football players ever, though.
- 19:10Yep. Yep, not a lot.
- 19:13Let's flip over to defense for a little while here and I want to
- 19:16make something completely didn't know until I started doing my
- 19:20research this week. You guys flipped DC's Tyler
- 19:23Santucci, Georgia Tech after one year after coming over from Duke
- 19:29and Elko's tree comes to y'all has a solid season.
- 19:33Well, first of all, maybe he wasn't a solid because he went
- 19:35up to Baltimore and their defense is absolutely shit right
- 19:38now and he's in linebackers coach up there.
- 19:40So maybe it's him, maybe it's not.
- 19:42But y'all go hire Blake Giddy and his safeties coach up at
- 19:45Texas basically for their deep run last year.
- 19:48And he'd been there with Sarkeesian for the last three
- 19:50years. What difference you're seeing on
- 19:53the defensive side of the ball this year, just with Gideon, or
- 19:56is it more, you know what, he steadied the ship and we're
- 19:59still rolling? So Brent Keys had more defensive
- 20:03coordinators than years than he's been head coach at wards
- 20:06attack. So we we brought over or we kept
- 20:12Andrew Thacker, who was a Collins hire for whatever
- 20:15reason. Now I get why our defense was
- 20:18the cornerstone of Keys interim year.
- 20:22He basically assaulted him on the sideline of the Bowling
- 20:25Green loss and then we fire him, promote Kevin Sharer to DC, fire
- 20:30both of them. So he had two DC's in the same
- 20:32year. Then you talked about it.
- 20:33We bring in Santucci, who I didn't even learn his name until
- 20:38he was already gone. I thought his name was Santucci
- 20:41and he was really good, though he came from Duke.
- 20:45He was a linebacker's coach. Our linebacker play had been
- 20:48atrocious up to that point. Blake Gideon came in, which was
- 20:52really exciting for us as Tech fans because we're we're really
- 20:57good or most of our defensive talents in the defensive
- 21:00backroom. Blake Gideon played defensive
- 21:02back when he was at Texas. They had one of the best pass
- 21:06defenses in the country as far as what I've seen from him and
- 21:10and he's never called plays before too.
- 21:12So there there is some learning curve in this for him.
- 21:14Really. The Georgia Tech defense has
- 21:16been been but don't break and they've been really good at
- 21:18times like turning the ball over three straight possessions to
- 21:22start a game. I don't know that I've ever seen
- 21:25that I was melting down, especially because I bet
- 21:29Colorado fans I would drink a 40 year old Coke if they won that
- 21:33game and I was like, Oh my God, I might have to drink a 40 year
- 21:35old Coke. But they gave up three points
- 21:38off those 3 turnovers. I mean a point, a turnover is
- 21:41pretty good. They have been lit up.
- 21:45The The thing is we don't have a pass rush right now.
- 21:48We have to be near last. I think we're 16th in the
- 21:51conference and sacks. So, you know, we've got to be a
- 21:55little more creative with how we drop stunts and blitz, blitz
- 21:59packages. But as far as what I've seen
- 22:02from Blake Guinea, if you look at the rankings, right, 65th in
- 22:05total defense, it's been bend but don't break.
- 22:10OK, All right. And I mean, that's kind of the
- 22:13same style that we try to play, but we've been breaking a whole
- 22:15lot so. Oh yeah?
- 22:17Well, that would just be break. It wouldn't be.
- 22:19It would be No, it's, it's bend and then break and then crumble.
- 22:24Yeah, it's, it's the whole 9 yards there.
- 22:26Let's flip over to. The you're right, you're you're
- 22:29you're 15, not 16. Both 2.
- 22:31The two of the North Carolina schools are worse than y'all
- 22:33would getting sacks when we played already.
- 22:36Yeah, we got. Blue to build.
- 22:38Blue to build. All right, so yeah, let's let's
- 22:41flip it over though. So we got, we got these, we we
- 22:44learned here about the the new DCA little bit.
- 22:47Let's talk about that defensive line.
- 22:50I'll let you jump in with a couple guys that you like.
- 22:52I know we had kind of circled Jordan Vandenberg as kind of
- 22:56being the guy on the interior there, but is there anybody else
- 22:59you want to talk about and let let the fans know about on the
- 23:02Georgia Tech defensive line? Yeah, Vandenberg's good.
- 23:05He came from Penn, like squats, like 600 something pounds or
- 23:09something. You know, he's really the leader
- 23:10on the defensive front. We lost a ton last year on the
- 23:13defensive front. In fact, he's the only one
- 23:15that's really played any meaningful snaps.
- 23:17It's returning this year as opposed to last year.
- 23:21The old money from Texas Tech took Rommelo height.
- 23:24They seem to be doing fantastic right now.
- 23:26Another one. This is interesting, a kilo
- 23:29stone. He's also a defensive tackle
- 23:32left Georgia Tech to go to Ole mess and now he's transferred
- 23:35back to Georgia Tech No, it was in consecutive season so one
- 23:42season he left to get Ole mess played down there next season he
- 23:44came back to play for Georgia Tech.
- 23:46He's been really good for us he's I want to say he's been
- 23:50banged up. I know he's had to come out of
- 23:51games sporadically. King season says Gideon has done
- 23:56solid through five games for a guy who is a first time play
- 23:59collar. But bad for how much we paid
- 24:02him. Well I don't know man.
- 24:03What are we paying him like 800,000 a year?
- 24:05I mean the the highest paid coordinators are defensive
- 24:08coordinators. I think there's ADC that makes
- 24:10over 3 million or something. That's it's it's Knowles of Penn
- 24:15State. We know because he was going to
- 24:16get paid for 1.8 million by us if he hadn't fucking went on
- 24:19that run with Ohio State. There you go.
- 24:22Yeah. Yeah, see.
- 24:25Yeah, I mean where we're weak on that defensive front is at the
- 24:28end and that's where if you want to be really strong on defense
- 24:32and you could pick one position to be really good at, it would
- 24:35be a defensive end. I mean the the less you have to
- 24:38cover, the better, right. You don't have to be that great
- 24:41and in your defensive backfield if you can get to the
- 24:43quarterback and that's great of problems for us.
- 24:46Like Wake was able to just run simple go routes, split, you
- 24:50know, Wake was running cover 2 and split the safety and corner
- 24:54at the boundary multiple, multiple times.
- 24:56We just weren't able to get there.
- 24:57So some work to be desired for sure on the defensive front,
- 25:05which again is making over a million a year, OK.
- 25:09Still don't matter like. That's the one we had to make.
- 25:13But now I'm just going to say the main person that everybody
- 25:17sees or in my opinion, it kind of jumps off the page on your
- 25:20defense is your linebacker. I mean, it looks like he's out
- 25:24of a horror film. Face paint everywhere, got the
- 25:27big cowboy collar. I mean, how has he been playing
- 25:32this year and and what do you think about him?
- 25:35He's been playing well. I mean, he is a menace as far as
- 25:39run stops concerned like and and just like open field tackle and
- 25:43getting a guy on the ground really good Blitzen.
- 25:46But he can be exposed in coverage.
- 25:49You know, anytime I see him matched up on the slot with
- 25:52somebody, 'cause, look, usually your slot receivers, your
- 25:55fastest receiver, like a smaller fast receiver, He he gets
- 26:00exposed a lot. That happened last year.
- 26:01It's happened a few times this year.
- 26:02But Efford, I mean, look, any any dude that wears a cowboy
- 26:06collar and I didn't even know they made those anymore.
- 26:08I I mean, I didn't see anyone wear that until he did.
- 26:12Yeah. So I mean, you got something
- 26:15going on. Hey, real quick, there's another
- 26:17linebacker. I I've kind of noticed a couple
- 26:20times he transferred over from Oregon State and he's, he's
- 26:23great and pretty high in PFF and all categories tackling
- 26:26coverage. And that's Melvin Jordan the
- 26:294th. Where is he lining up?
- 26:31Like is he primarily weak side or is he playing like some of
- 26:34the outside linebacker? I'll be honest with you, I'm not
- 26:39sure I would assume he he's outside.
- 26:41He seems like a more athletic guy like him.
- 26:43We have three more athletic linebackers in like EJ Lightsley
- 26:46that came in from UGA last year, Melvin Jordan came in this year
- 26:51and then a guy named Jackson Hamilton that came in from
- 26:55Louisville. And we've, we, we, we do a
- 26:57pretty good job at rotating situationally those guys in like
- 27:00if we, you know, they bring out four wide receivers, we're
- 27:03probably going to bring E Ford off and put Jordan in or EJ
- 27:06Lightsley in. OK.
- 27:08So he's he's more of a coverage oriented linebacker.
- 27:12Maybe, I don't know. I'll be honest with you, I
- 27:14haven't paid that much attention to it.
- 27:16I've been oogling over Haines King and and stuff like that.
- 27:20As you should, as you should. We went to last one, Brian.
- 27:26Yeah. I mean your secondary, I know
- 27:28you talked about there was some, you know some problems there as
- 27:30you as Wake was coming in, especially the inability to get
- 27:33get pressure on there and you know some coverage breakdowns.
- 27:35But you know, we kind of circled Amari Harvey cornerback, but
- 27:41want you to talk about him a little bit, maybe some of the
- 27:43other guys in that secondary that have been some some
- 27:46playmakers for you. Yeah, Mari Harvey's good.
- 27:49I didn't really know how good he was until I I played NCAA 26 and
- 27:53that he scored like 14 points a game as a defensive back.
- 27:58But now he's been good this season, really good in coverage
- 28:02together as a ton of experience, which is which is needed.
- 28:05Another guy that I'm really high on is a guy named Clayton
- 28:08Powley. We in the past we've been so bad
- 28:11at linebacker, like more toward his sophomore year that he had
- 28:15to play linebacker. So he's a big, you know, £200
- 28:19plus safety. We actually interviewed him on
- 28:21the channel his freshman year. He came out of Westlake, which
- 28:24is where Cam Newton came out of in Georgia.
- 28:27So that they're a football factor.
- 28:29We've got a few kids out of there, but Clayton Powley really
- 28:32good at at being a run stopper out of safety.
- 28:36Just just reading the reading the offense and knowing where to
- 28:39be on the field. I mean, hell, probably more than
- 28:42half of playing defense is just knowing what spot you need to
- 28:46get in. Yeah.
- 28:46Oh, A. 100% being at the right. Spot doing the show lady, sorry.
- 28:56So so going into this game Saturday, obviously y'all are I
- 28:59mean. What?
- 29:00This might be the first. Time ever in this series with
- 29:03Y'all and us going back to 2004 that anybody's ever been this
- 29:09big of a favor in this game. I think it's it was 14 1/2 is
- 29:12where it started. I am not sure where it is right
- 29:14now. It's a lot.
- 29:15Of points. That is a shit ton of points,
- 29:18but where is your? I mean, is there, is there a
- 29:21concern as you're looking through your team through the
- 29:24lens of, OK, we're undefeated, top 18 in the country, we're
- 29:28leading the ACC. Is there any fear right now?
- 29:33Like we're going to fuck this up?
- 29:35Where are you standing going into this game?
- 29:38Yeah, I mean, look, do I think there's only 12 teams in the
- 29:42country better than Georgia Tech?
- 29:43No. No, I don't.
- 29:45Georgia Tech has the benefit of a very easy schedule this year.
- 29:49I mean, you look at their wins, where is the big quality win
- 29:53you'd say for Georgia Tech? They don't have one.
- 29:56You thought Clemson, maybe. But Clemson, you know, you can't
- 29:59get out of their own way. Can't you know they can only
- 30:02beat Troy in North Carolina, which is not a great resume.
- 30:05And yeah, I'm I'm certainly scared.
- 30:10Like never bet. Georgia Tech is a favorite.
- 30:12First of all, I hate sports betting.
- 30:15And I in fact, years ago I told my dad like, I think I'm going
- 30:19to take Ole mess on the money line over Alabama.
- 30:21This what he told me this for all you guys listening, he said
- 30:24well, I guess if you're tired of giving your ex-wife all your
- 30:27money, you can give the rest of the bookie.
- 30:29All right, so don't don't bet on sports.
- 30:32These guys know what they're doing and if you have to bet
- 30:35don't bet tech as a favorite. Go watch last week against
- 30:38weight Tech's a team that plays to the level of talent that is
- 30:44across from them. Like they'll they'll go beat
- 30:46Miami last year, you know, and then lose to Virginia Tech.
- 30:51You know, not to crap on Virginia Tech, but you'd think
- 30:55if you can take care of Miami, you should have been able to
- 30:57take care of Virginia Tech. And we had injury issues and all
- 30:59that. I get it.
- 31:01I they kept showing a stat during the weight game.
- 31:03He's like 9 and one nine and one against ranked ACC opponents
- 31:06after that win and 9 is 8 against unranked ACC opponents.
- 31:12So we it's almost like he holds stuff back for teams that, you
- 31:17know, that are these big marquee matchups that I hope that's not
- 31:21like a a thing that continues with them.
- 31:23But this is the exact type of game that Georgia Tech stumbles
- 31:27in. And it's been a little while
- 31:28since we beat y'all. When was the last time we beat
- 31:30Virginia Tech 21? You beat us in 2021.
- 31:35That was first, first season we I think that was A1 score.
- 31:43Hold on, I'm 90 since years A1 score loss.
- 31:47Yeah, when when you. Said the stuff with the with all
- 31:50when he said the stuff with like holding back for the good teams.
- 31:54I I was getting Fuente vibes for yeah, the hokey fans.
- 31:58I was like, OK, well, because Fuente always, you know, put out
- 32:01a good team, even you win or lose.
- 32:03It was a good game against the quality opponents and, you know,
- 32:06you turn around and lose a bunch of games you had no business
- 32:10losing. And yeah.
- 32:12Yeah, I mean, it's wild. It might have been 2022.
- 32:16It was his interim year, I think because we didn't play the year
- 32:20before last and you beat us last year.
- 32:23That was that was when we had Pyron who ended up transferring
- 32:26out and broke the collarbone and whatnot.
- 32:28But yeah. I think Pyron came in in the
- 32:30game. Y'all beat us too though.
- 32:32Yeah, we started Gibson, who I call cinder block feet and he he
- 32:37transferred to Georgia State and and lost that that competition.
- 32:41So, yeah, but yeah, no, this this game does scare me.
- 32:45The only silver lining for me is it's in Atlanta.
- 32:48Like I, you know, no matter how down Virginia Tech might be, I
- 32:52mean, I think Blacksburg can be a tough place to play.
- 32:56Always laugh. So what it what's your big key
- 32:58this week? I know what you said to play the
- 32:59level of competition. What's the one thing if you say
- 33:02if I look at this, if if I get blackout and drunk pass out,
- 33:06forget what happened Saturday and if I wake up, there's one
- 33:10stat line I'm looking and said if we did that, then we won the
- 33:12game. Combined rushing yards of Jamal
- 33:15Haines and Haines King. If I knew that number, I would
- 33:18tell you if it's above 160, I would say 99 times out of 100,
- 33:23Georgia Tech's going to win that game.
- 33:25And that's that's not just a Virginia Tech thing.
- 33:27If Georgia Tech can get their rushing yards in, they tend to
- 33:31beat whoever they're playing. Got it, Tyler.
- 33:34Anything else you want to ask Mr. Rick?
- 33:36Talk here tonight, Sir. No, man.
- 33:39I mean, he's giving us a lot of information.
- 33:41He's he's the blow. He's been very nice to us today.
- 33:44So I mean, I appreciate him being on it.
- 33:47And Red. Stomped on our grave or
- 33:49anything. Told us we were better than UNC.
- 33:51I mean, what else can you ask for?
- 33:53Well y'all don't do. Having three touchdowns, almost
- 33:57running. Y'all don't do dumb stuff like
- 33:59other fan bases do, like lose everything that's good about
- 34:03your team and say you're going to be better this year.
- 34:04Like, I don't know, Colorado. Or hire a bunch of people that
- 34:08have never coached before and say because they were good NFL
- 34:12players, that's going to mean something.
- 34:14Yeah, I mean, I hadn't done any of that.
- 34:16Right. Hey man, we're checking all the
- 34:19boxes. Then I.
- 34:19Was going to go ahead and get a. Fucking coach.
- 34:21Natty incoming. Hey, oh God, don't we wish?
- 34:27Don't we wish? Well, listen, Rick talk, dude.
- 34:30We talked with you last year. If you were fun then, you're fun
- 34:35now, Tally. Tally is going to hook up with
- 34:38you. Because if Tally comes to
- 34:39Georgia Tech and y'all go to the Claremont Club and do all this
- 34:42stuff, I want pictures because I had a feeling it's going to be
- 34:45one of those nights. Y'all don't.
- 34:46Remember, you should look up Claremont.
- 34:48You're not going to want to. You're going to want pictures.
- 34:52You're. Not going to want to look up
- 34:53Claremont. My own it's you don't even go
- 34:55there for gratification. You go there for entertainment.
- 34:58OK, this is, I mean, what would the dive bar equivalent of of
- 35:05the titty club be? I don't know.
- 35:07That's what it is though, OK. All right, all right.
- 35:11The dive bar equivalent of the titty.
- 35:13Club, just just. Write that down.
- 35:15Just write well. Listen man, we appreciate you
- 35:19taking a little bit of your time this evening.
- 35:21Talk with us on Georgia Tech, Give us a little background.
- 35:24Tell everybody where they can find you in.
- 35:26When will you be going live to talk about this game from
- 35:28y'all's perspective? Yes, you can find me.
- 35:32Just search Rec Talk on YouTube. I'll be there talking trash
- 35:35about someone. I just did a video on old
- 35:38Bluetooth Bill and how I told you that wasn't going to work
- 35:40out and people didn't want to listen to me.
- 35:42And I've been more right about North Carolina than their own
- 35:44fans for the past three years. You can find me on Twitter.
- 35:49Yeah, man, you can find me on Twitter at Rec under score Talk.
- 35:53Because some porn bot hacked my other account so I lost that
- 35:57one. As far as when I'll be going
- 35:59live, I don't know. Probably at some point that
- 36:02night. I usually will stream the like
- 36:04the late late game that night. So like whatever the 1030 game
- 36:08is. I did convert to Mormonism in
- 36:10exchange for a win against Wake Forest.
- 36:13I I converted to Christianity earlier in a previous season and
- 36:19so my soul is pretty cheap. It ended up working out.
- 36:22Explain how we beat weight down 20 to 3.
- 36:25So usually BYU plays at 10:30 and I'll stream them.
- 36:29They are not playing. Are the referees Mormons?
- 36:31Is that is that what's going on? Well.
- 36:34First of all, I wouldn't question the power of Joseph
- 36:37Smith on the stream like that. I mean, you're welcome to, but
- 36:41that's the only thing I can accredit it to.
- 36:43So you're converted to Catholicism Next time you'll
- 36:45play Notre Dame. I would know, first of all,
- 36:48first of all, Notre Dame, you got Jesus overlooking your
- 36:52stadium. When was the last time they they
- 36:55went to a natty last night and win it.
- 36:57They hadn't even won a postseason game prior to that
- 36:59since, I don't know, Lou Holtz was there or something.
- 37:01So it's a little suspicious to me.
- 37:03Oh God. I love it I love it Rick talk
- 37:09great talking with you man. We hope that we continue to play
- 37:12y'all so we can bring you on every year for 40 minutes so
- 37:16unfiltered entertainment. Take care of yourself and
- 37:20appreciate it man. What?
- 37:22By the way, UNC evidently just made a statement about Bill
- 37:25Belichick. I got it up here.
- 37:29This is from the UNC athletic department.
- 37:31I am fully committed to the UNC football program, to UNC
- 37:35football in the building here. Bill Belichick, Coach Belichick
- 37:39has the full support of the Department of Athletics and
- 37:42University. Bubba Cunningham.
- 37:45Therefore, after they lose and get squirrel stomped this
- 37:48weekend, he's going to get fired.
- 37:50It's a guarantee now. If you got to make a statement,
- 37:54you got the full support. You don't have the full support.
- 37:57Yeah, if you have to come out and make a statement like, hey,
- 37:59you know, his girlfriend is not actually coaching the team and,
- 38:03you know, he isn't actually asking for concession money
- 38:06before the games, it's not a good look, man.
- 38:08I mean, I don't. Can you imagine watching Jeff
- 38:12Collins coach at Georgia Tech and say I want that, I think and
- 38:18hiring them. I mean, these guys are addicted
- 38:20to paying buyouts like some crackhead over here in downtown
- 38:23Atlanta. I ain't never seen nothing like
- 38:25it. They ought to.
- 38:26Just do sports betting the they would lose less money just
- 38:31flipping a coin on the spread than than their buyouts.
- 38:34They're paying coaches anyway. Talk to you guys later.
- 38:37Appreciate it man, have a good one.
- 38:39Appreciate it. Oh my God, deep breath here.
- 38:42You know what? They may feel a little bit
- 38:50better for the next few minutes at least before we get over.
- 38:55Don't. You can keep looking at you can
- 39:00keep looking at UNC stuff and understand that the man who made
- 39:03that statement's name is Bubba and laugh at that.
- 39:07Bubba. Bubba Cunningham.
- 39:08Bubba Cunningham Oh my God. Alrighty, well, I think we don't
- 39:13have shovel tonight, so we're going to roll on and let's just
- 39:18talk about Saturday and let's tell the truth because you know,
- 39:23versus Wake Forest, there's a 30 to 23 loss.
- 39:28And what went well? Well, right now we aren't UNC,
- 39:33we aren't Oklahoma State. I was going to say we aren't
- 39:36UCLA, but God damn it, look what they went out and did on
- 39:40Saturday afternoon. Yeah, man.
- 39:42It's but y'all, y'all bronze owe me 30 years, Tal, You've owe me
- 39:47about five years now. I'm a pretty optimistic
- 39:50individual, right? Pretty optimistic.
- 39:52Positive. Yeah.
- 39:55I can't find shit on Saturday that went well and it won't just
- 39:59because we lost there. Was a lot.
- 40:02There was a lot like that. Yeah, I mean, the best thing you
- 40:06could say is like the running game in the first half was
- 40:09decent. Not not spectacular, but not
- 40:14awful. We went away from it too much.
- 40:18Kyron still threw more than he needed to, for for as
- 40:23inefficient as we were passing the football, we still threw the
- 40:27ball way too many times. Good tally.
- 40:31Agreed. Agreed.
- 40:33No, I think the only thing I can say that went well was the kids
- 40:37that are getting in the game are playing hard.
- 40:39And I don't see people that are in the game quitting.
- 40:42You know, we're just taking tons of plays off.
- 40:46I think they're playing hard. I just think we're not a good
- 40:49team. I mean, that's, that's, that's
- 40:53all I can say about. I mean, we, we got some people
- 40:56that are playing that probably shouldn't be playing, but I feel
- 40:59like that 90% of the kids that are getting in the game are
- 41:04playing hard. So that's what I will say about
- 41:07what went well. Not much.
- 41:10Well, the only thing is, and this is what I get any more
- 41:12pissed off about and I'm going to go Randy here for a second.
- 41:17What pisses me off is I couldn't find a damn thing in my opinion
- 41:20that went well and we lost about 7 points.
- 41:23I I could not find anything like I'm trying to say what did we do
- 41:26good? What, what, what, what, what do
- 41:28we do good? I don't see anything that went
- 41:30well. Watch most of the games.
- 41:33Well, Curtis, we can go to flip the flip the pivot to the next
- 41:37thing and say what went bad and it'll tell you why you lost by 7
- 41:42after you couldn't find that much.
- 41:46Number one we'll start with is fucking penalties.
- 41:49That's what went bad. Penalties went horrible.
- 41:54Man penalty penalties are what are what are they doing?
- 41:57So the the problem that I'm seeing with the penalties, like
- 41:59penalties are penalties like you're going to get penalties in
- 42:01the game. We're getting penalties
- 42:04absolutely kills, drives it. It either takes points off the
- 42:07board or gives them points to go on the board, gets us out of
- 42:11field goal rate. Like we get penalties at times.
- 42:15We cannot afford to get penalties all the time, all the
- 42:19time. How many drives it was?
- 42:22I was trying to do the count 17 points right rough in the past.
- 42:28Seven more. I killed 17 roughing the passers
- 42:33extended the drive. They would have had to punt or
- 42:35go forward on like 4th and seven unsportsmanlike that would have
- 42:39ended the drive. 7 special teams over to center.
- 42:45Although I I was going to bust you whole, but then it was like
- 42:49I looked at where that they only threw that damn flag because
- 42:54they missed a field goal and they he had it slightly shoulder
- 42:57over to center. That's the only reason they
- 42:59threw it. If he makes it, they don't throw
- 43:01the flag. So but that's 17 points and when
- 43:06you lose a game by 7, you just want to throw shit like that
- 43:09because it's like take all that off the board, it's a 10 point
- 43:12win. Yeah, I think we had one more,
- 43:15though somewhere. I can't remember what it was.
- 43:18I could not bring myself to go back and watch any of that game
- 43:22because it was so bad, like how I felt.
- 43:26But I feel like it was one more thing that we did, extended a
- 43:30drive for them or something that we hit somebody.
- 43:37Is that it right there? No.
- 43:39That's the rough of the passer, Brian.
- 43:41What else? What else went bad on Saturday?
- 43:44Because I'm going to try to find it.
- 43:45Because I found the rough of the passer.
- 43:47I'll find the other ones in a second here.
- 43:50I mean, you know, the, the second bugaboo on top of the
- 43:54penalties is not finishing drives, man.
- 43:59We're, we're getting historically bad in terms of
- 44:03getting in the red zone and not being able to, to get a
- 44:07touchdown in the process. We're kicking too many field
- 44:11goals. We're, we're, we're, we're
- 44:13letting drives fizzle at the wrong times, whether it be
- 44:16because of those penalties or because of bad execution or, you
- 44:20know, inconsistent play call. There's just, there's so many
- 44:23reasons that we're just fizzling out when we get in the red zone.
- 44:26And you know, some of that's on Kyron, some of that's on, you
- 44:29know, other areas of the of the offense.
- 44:31But at the end of the day, if you're not scoring touchdowns
- 44:35when you drive the field, you're falling behind, man.
- 44:38You can't leave that many points on the field consistently and
- 44:41expect to win football games. Jordan Bass ran somebody over in
- 44:45the second day or two. I don't know if it led to
- 44:48points, but. I think, I think I know what
- 44:51you're talking about like that was API and I do think it, I
- 44:54think it ended up in a field goal.
- 44:56So that would have been another three points.
- 45:00Can I say this defensively though?
- 45:04Y'all, if you want to go to NCAA stats, guess who's dead last in
- 45:09red zone defense. And I'm talking about dead
- 45:12fucking last. I'm talking about tied with the
- 45:15most opportunities and literally cannot stop a score inside 20
- 45:20yards. That's us dead last.
- 45:24Well, we can't score inside of the 20 either, Curtis.
- 45:27Yeah, another thing that went bad.
- 45:28We're we're bad in in the red zone both ways and it hurts.
- 45:34It hurts. Because Saturday, you look at
- 45:37John Loves field goal, what were they like, 31?
- 45:41Yeah. 313334 Yeah, You start doing that math, it's like, wait
- 45:46a second, that means you were like snapping that ball.
- 45:50It's about a six yard snap, right?
- 45:52Y'all both played 6 yards. That means you were.
- 45:55Inside your 15 three times. The last one you were inside the
- 46:00tent. That was the IBM.
- 46:05Can't push the ball in. And I, and you know what I got
- 46:08to, I got to throw a disclaimer out there because I said
- 46:11something about Murray and I didn't mean to talk about him,
- 46:17even though, you know, I got to come back and give my man an
- 46:20apology. I haven't really watched him.
- 46:22I finally he jumped off the the page this past game.
- 46:25But I think whoever what he's #9 right.
- 46:31Yeah. IBM is number 9.
- 46:33So the other corner of safety that's been playing is he #8 no,
- 46:38not 8, that's Christian Ellis. Whatever number was the one that
- 46:41wasn't turning his head, I think it was Brown.
- 46:45Caleb Brown. Yeah, Brown's not.
- 46:47Playing right now. Yeah, I know.
- 46:49But I'm saying in in the first couple of games, in the early.
- 46:53Season. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 46:54yeah, yeah. That's who I was thinking Murray
- 46:57was. I got to, I got to tell my man
- 46:59Murray that hey, man, I apologize.
- 47:01Didn't mean to come at you thinking about Breon Murray.
- 47:04It was actually Brown that was screwing up.
- 47:08But anyway, yeah, we are still had.
- 47:12Murray gave us a good, you know, IBM had gave us a good
- 47:15opportunity to go score some points, get a pick, trying to
- 47:18get to the end zone. When he didn't get to the end
- 47:19zone, Curtis text me and say we ain't going to score, we're
- 47:22about to kick. I did text you that when he
- 47:24didn't get in. 33 plays later, 3 plays later, what happens?
- 47:30We kicking a foot? The field goal from the fucking
- 47:3210. Wait a second, didn't we get a
- 47:34penalty too on that drive to back this up a couple yards,
- 47:37yes. We did.
- 47:39We got a couple on. On 3rd and it was like third and
- 47:41one or third and two or something, we get a penalty,
- 47:44takes us back to like the seven or eight.
- 47:46Curtis if the drive started with first down, we got a penalty on
- 47:49it. That's bad.
- 47:52That's bad. That's bad.
- 47:54Pitiful, Brian, what about this? Because we we mentioned Congress
- 47:58play, we talked about that a little bit more, but and I don't
- 48:01think Hasbro's won't get fixed this year.
- 48:04No, I mean, you know, some of the elements that we we were
- 48:07expecting to have have are no longer in the game, two of them
- 48:13in particular. And they're not going to be
- 48:17coming back. They are off the roster and it's
- 48:21hard to absorb that type of loss and expected to be consistent
- 48:26because even the guys behind it, if they Got Talent, they you
- 48:29know, there's a reason they're behind there.
- 48:30They may not be ready for one reason or another.
- 48:32And we just can't we can't get after the passer.
- 48:36And that was already a problem because we were still working in
- 48:42a somewhat inexperienced secondary behind Dante Lovett,
- 48:45who is also no longer playing on this on this football team.
- 48:49So you have a bad combination of a lack of pass rush and a
- 48:54secondary, particularly a cornerback group that is pretty
- 48:59inexperienced, and it's starting to show.
- 49:01And you know when you add into that Christian Ellis being out
- 49:04this game, that that that put them in even deeper bind.
- 49:10So you're not a lot of good. And now, and I'm going to say
- 49:14this and make people mad, we're O and three at home.
- 49:19O and three and unless you beat Cal in three weeks, 2 weeks, 2
- 49:27weeks, there's not going to be a home win this year.
- 49:32Yeah. There's not going to be a home
- 49:33win this year. That is just being brutally
- 49:37honest. Barring a miracle.
- 49:40Barring a miracle, you ain't being Louisville.
- 49:43You ain't, we ain't being Miami. So be prepared for that Friday
- 49:49night game. Better be the Super Bowl for the
- 49:51kids. All right, I'm going to go with
- 49:53my what did anything happen that we weren't prepared for?
- 49:58Me and Tali sat here and I confidence and said we're not
- 50:01winning this game. But for me, my thought was Damon
- 50:06Claiborne is going to run over us.
- 50:07He's going to have 120 yards, 2 touchdowns.
- 50:10All the kids from King William going down there to watch him
- 50:13are going to see it. Well, he gets hurt.
- 50:16They don't have a running game. He goes for 29 yards.
- 50:20We keep them to 90 yards on the ground.
- 50:22You tell me we kept that team to 90 yards on the ground.
- 50:25It was like, well, we won the game.
- 50:28Like now, you lost and they scored 30.
- 50:33Where did those points come from?
- 50:35Points come from. They couldn't.
- 50:37Win the ball, but it goes back if you can't, if you can't pass
- 50:40rush and you got inexperienced cover guys.
- 50:44Even those ducks that were getting thrown out of the
- 50:46backfield there were getting home.
- 50:49You dropped at least three interceptions that I saw.
- 50:56Just not good, man. Just not good.
- 50:57And again, there's no disrespect to the coaches.
- 51:00No, I mean no disrespect to the kids that's playing, but it's
- 51:04like you fired your head coach because he wasn't getting it
- 51:07done. And you've had, I think we've
- 51:10had four or five defensive starters that have been out
- 51:15that's not playing or, you know, leaving and maybe 6 or 7, two
- 51:20deep guys. I mean, you almost got to hold
- 51:23you've. You've lost almost half of your
- 51:25two deep in one way or another between guys that are Portland
- 51:29and guys that are injured. Yeah, right.
- 51:31So it's like it's never an excuse.
- 51:33You definitely want to go and win a game, but for me, I'm
- 51:36like, I'm still watching, I'm still getting upset when we
- 51:40don't win. But realistically, taking a step
- 51:42back, looking at things, I'm like, man, these kids, right?
- 51:45They can't win. They can't win together.
- 51:46They don't know how to win. I mean, you've been under a
- 51:49coaching staff that doesn't know how to win and now you got kids
- 51:53that don't know how to win. You know, they just, they don't.
- 51:56But again, we can talk a little bit.
- 52:00We ain't going to stay on that long, but we can talk a little
- 52:03bit about the landscape of college football and coaching.
- 52:07It's coming up. I think Curtis messaged me
- 52:09earlier today and said we ain't got to talk about it now.
- 52:13But if. Yeah, he said, we ain't got to
- 52:15talk about it now. But if you had one person that
- 52:18you're looking at as head coach, who would it be?
- 52:20And I thought about it because I throw different names out to
- 52:23Curtis all the time, sometimes playing, sometimes, you know,
- 52:27just bouncing it off to see what he says.
- 52:29And then I was thinking to myself, really, I don't know.
- 52:32I really do not know because I really feel like any name that
- 52:37you throw out, it's going to be a a crab in a bucket in four
- 52:42more weeks because it's going to be some coaches, more coaches
- 52:46get fired. It's going to be more coaches
- 52:48get shuffled. So it's like who who do you look
- 52:51at? Somebody put Jimbo in the in the
- 52:53in the chat again. We going to answer all the
- 52:57coaching things, but I, I don't know.
- 53:01I don't know how I feel about it.
- 53:02Well, we're not answering that for two reasons, because next
- 53:04week we have to talk about this game and all y'all who have been
- 53:08willing to talk about coaching for the last month, next week's
- 53:12going to be a week because we're going to let you come on and you
- 53:16going to put your face on screen and you don't say who you want
- 53:19to be The next head coach. College book of the Virginia
- 53:21Tech opies I've got. Mark it down.
- 53:24Mark it down. Save the coach.
- 53:26Batter for next week. We are thinking it's Monday
- 53:29because we've got things going on all our lives that where it
- 53:32ain't going to be a Tuesday. Wednesday.
- 53:34Bryan, by the way, you didn't respond.
- 53:35Is Monday good next week? For you, Monday is great.
- 53:38Monday next week we're going to talk about the Georgia Tech
- 53:41game. Maybe something good.
- 53:45I highly doubt it, but bring who you think you want the head
- 53:49coach to be. Why did I say give you all a few
- 53:51weeks? Everybody was all over John
- 53:53Summerall's ass. I want the Tulane coach.
- 53:56He looked like shit against Ole Miss, didn't he?
- 53:58Anybody talked about him anymore.
- 54:00But why not? Why don't you go with him?
- 54:02He's a good coach. Now he looks like crap.
- 54:05Somebody saying James Franklin, you got somebody in mind?
- 54:09You're going to come here and you're going to see it live on
- 54:11there and it's going to be recorded.
- 54:13So if you say something, really something stupid, everybody in
- 54:17the world that watches our program is going to know and
- 54:21we're going to reveal ours too. We're going to reveal our tally.
- 54:24You got five days, you got 5 days.
- 54:27Think about who you want, who you want, and you can make it
- 54:30realistic, unrealistic. So that's next week.
- 54:33This is what I'll ask though. This is what I'll ask the the
- 54:36chat when you come next weekend to talk about your coaches.
- 54:41At least give us some background on why you picking this coach,
- 54:45why you think they'll be good. Give us something.
- 54:47Don't just come in here and say Nick Saban.
- 54:50It can be unrealistic, but at least give us something.
- 54:54Hey, I think Saban could come in.
- 54:55He could build a program up. He may do it for two years.
- 54:58Take it on as a, you know, take it on as a as a project.
- 55:02He's from West Virginia. Have some kind of substance
- 55:05behind it if you're going to pop on.
- 55:07I get it, man. We'll run a space just to talk
- 55:09crap. So when we get on air and we
- 55:11want to do some talking, still don't mind talking crap, but I
- 55:14just want a little bit of substance.
- 55:16If you're going to come on, give me a little bit of reason why
- 55:18you pick that person. What you what you're feeling.
- 55:22Somebody said James Franklin. I'm hearing James Franklin's
- 55:25buyout is $50 million. OK.
- 55:30It's probably not going to be James Franklin.
- 55:31So Pat Fitzgerald. Me selling out, hey, I want to
- 55:36say this because you said it about bringing the sauce.
- 55:39The last time we did this, people would have got on,
- 55:42brought the sauce. Y'all brought it that that was
- 55:46one reason when this happened, I didn't want to do it right then
- 55:48because you need to see how things matriculate.
- 55:50You need to see other coaches being fired.
- 55:52You need to figure out OK, who's who's a realistic option.
- 55:56And next week we're going to be about a month and a half out
- 55:58from when it's going to be announced.
- 55:59It's not going to be beforehand. The only way it's going to be
- 56:02beforehand is if it's a coach not coaching right now.
- 56:05That's the one let's do for him. All right, last piece what we
- 56:09can do better moving forward and I'm going to throw this to
- 56:12Brian. First tally you go second all.
- 56:15Right. We love Kyron.
- 56:18We've interviewed him. He is a hell of a young man,
- 56:21nice as he can be, plays hard. But should there be a
- 56:26quarterback change before some point this season?
- 56:31This for me. This is you first, then Tally
- 56:34can chime in. At this point, I say yes,
- 56:39because at, at this point we know what Kyron is and what he
- 56:44isn't. We, we've, we've seen enough
- 56:46tape at this point where I don't think we're all of a sudden
- 56:50going to see a different football player roll out there
- 56:54next week. Now what what he does is that he
- 56:57does have games where he is playing confidently and can can
- 57:03play a notch up. But the issue that we have has
- 57:07always been consistency. And we haven't found the recipe
- 57:14to to to get him to a point where he can play his best
- 57:19consistently. And I think at this point, it's
- 57:23probably better served for us to figure out what we have behind
- 57:27him, regardless of who the next coach is, because there's going
- 57:30to be conversations of who you can keep, who you can pay, all
- 57:33these things. And you got two guys behind him.
- 57:38Correct me if I'm wrong. Both of them have remaining
- 57:40eligibility. So I'd at least want to see what
- 57:44they have. I'd like to see what they can do
- 57:47with the roster that's remaining for this team because obviously
- 57:51they don't have they're they're not coming into this like Kyron
- 57:55where where they've, they've worked with some of these guys
- 57:58for, you know, a couple years at this point.
- 58:00And you know, they, they're, they're coming in fresh.
- 58:01I'd like to see what they can do with some of the talent that's
- 58:03already on the roster because we know Kyron's not going to be
- 58:06here next year one way or the other.
- 58:08So. Now, Kyron's a senior SO.
- 58:11Yeah, exactly. So he's not going to be here one
- 58:12way or the other. Exactly.
- 58:13So at at the end of the day, I'd like to, I'd like to see some
- 58:19new blood in there and just see, see what if that can bring a
- 58:22little bit of a spark to the offense.
- 58:25Yeah, no, definitely. Even if you just doing it for a
- 58:28series or a couple of plays and trying to throw some different
- 58:32wrinkles in. I mean, you got to do something.
- 58:36You got to try to go win some games.
- 58:37You got to go try to, you know, give some kids the opportunity
- 58:41because everybody's, you know, vying for a position, whether
- 58:44it's at Virginia Tech or if it's at William and Mary, you know,
- 58:47whatever. If they're thinking about
- 58:49transferring to, I will say if I'm the coach and I'm leaving
- 58:53Kyron in, I'm not. He's not passing the ball 30 * a
- 58:57game or 25 * a game. I think his sweet spot for me
- 59:02passing the ball is probably 15 to 20 * a game.
- 59:07And guess what you're going to be doing on those other plays?
- 59:09You're going to be running it. You got to, you got to.
- 59:13I mean, if you're going to look right now, Hanes King has 108
- 59:18pass attempts, 74 completions for 758 yards.
- 59:24Again, that schedule has been easy, but still, you still got
- 59:28to go out and win the games. You know he's got 3. 100 he's
- 59:31got 3 touchdown passes. Yeah, he's not, he's not, he's
- 59:36not a passing. He's not a like like, Rick Talk
- 59:40said. He's not really a quarterback,
- 59:41you know, He's a football player.
- 59:43He just goes out and does what needs to be done to win the
- 59:45game. Now Kyron, on the other hand,
- 59:47almost has 100 more pass attempts than him, you know, and
- 59:52that's great. We're not getting anywhere with
- 59:53this crazy. Not at all, and I know.
- 59:55They got an extra 197. Still.
- 59:57Yeah, and I'm with y'all on this and I think it's more for the
- 1:00:02fact of for wrangle and pop than anything.
- 1:00:05And I don't care who plays and who doesn't.
- 1:00:08Or both of them play. You got to be fair to those
- 1:00:11guys, they came here, they expected to be backups and then
- 1:00:14expect to compete in the future for the job If, and you don't
- 1:00:19know if they're going to be able to stay here or not, right?
- 1:00:22You don't, You don't because we don't know who the coach is yet.
- 1:00:25At least get them some game film and everybody's like, well what
- 1:00:30about winning the game y'all? We ain't doing.
- 1:00:35It we ain't doing it. We ain't five and one in
- 1:00:38struggling. We're two and four.
- 1:00:42It's it's one of those things where at some point, you know,
- 1:00:46I'm not saying cut losses, but you need to look at up and down
- 1:00:49the roster, like what's happening on defense with like
- 1:00:51Chambers and Robinson playing over young older guys, JoJo Crim
- 1:00:55playing over some older guys, a couple different Brett Clatter
- 1:00:58Brawl's playing a couple older guys.
- 1:01:00Well, eventually you've just got to be to the young guys.
- 1:01:02Like, listen, go out there and play because if you're not here
- 1:01:04next year, at least you've got, you know, 5000 snaps of game
- 1:01:09film where you can go show somebody.
- 1:01:11Hey listen, this is what I am. Yeah.
- 1:01:13Let me ask you this because I mean, we're, we're getting to a
- 1:01:17point now where just doing the math and looking at the schedule
- 1:01:22and I know the schedule is what it is, but when you look at it,
- 1:01:27you don't see a a lot of wins left on this on the schedule.
- 1:01:30So the one goal that potentially is still on the table is highly
- 1:01:35unlikely, which would be making a bowl game, right?
- 1:01:37So that's highly unlikely at this point.
- 1:01:40So the next best thing is to get the guys that have remaining
- 1:01:43eligibility a whole lot of snaps or as many snaps as you can get
- 1:01:48them. I I, I don't necessarily like
- 1:01:50you want to win the game. Yes, you want to go out there
- 1:01:52and put your best out there. Yes, every week, but at the same
- 1:01:55time you want to see what you have because this we're playing
- 1:01:58the long game at this point. Not that this season doesn't
- 1:02:01matter anymore, but the outcomes of this season matter a whole
- 1:02:06lot less than what's coming in 2026 and in the future. 100% All
- 1:02:13right, So real quick, I mean, we, we talked with Rhett talk.
- 1:02:19Y'all got a key for this week? A key, A key.
- 1:02:26What's the key to a if if the hope if we're sitting here next
- 1:02:29Monday before we'd go into coach talk and we're like holy bleep,
- 1:02:33we did it. How do we do with Brian Siegel?
- 1:02:35What's the key? The the key is going to be when
- 1:02:39they get inside the 20, you force them to kick for three,
- 1:02:43and when we get inside the 20, we're scoring touchdowns because
- 1:02:46we've been awful in both directions.
- 1:02:48If we do that with any degree of competence, we'll at least make
- 1:02:53that a game. Haynes King's health and us
- 1:02:59having somebody having a God game and like Stewart had
- 1:03:05against North Carolina State, that's the two things.
- 1:03:08Somebody having a crazy game, running the ball because it's
- 1:03:11not going to happen in the past. And then and then the receiving
- 1:03:14yards and Haynes King. I don't want nobody to get
- 1:03:17injured. I'm just saying how Haynes King
- 1:03:20plays and like Rick Talk said, it's a lot of times where, you
- 1:03:25know, he could get banged up a little bit.
- 1:03:28So his health and thus running. But he also plays better when
- 1:03:35he's when he's nicked. So if he's going to get nicked,
- 1:03:39he's got to get nicked enough to get out the game.
- 1:03:42Yeah, if you if you've asked. Me how to win this game, He
- 1:03:48needs to pass the ball like 40 times.
- 1:03:52If Hank's Kings passed the ball 40 times, then we have a shot
- 1:03:56because that tells me we stopped.
- 1:03:59We slowed them down enough running and we did what Brian
- 1:04:02said. We scored a couple touchdowns
- 1:04:05inside the red zone. So now they're like, all right,
- 1:04:08we got to pass the ball. 40 times if he throws it 40 times,
- 1:04:13then that that's what I'm saying the rails, well, that's what I'm
- 1:04:16saying his. Highest this year is 28.
- 1:04:19That was against Clemson. But what I'm saying is if he has
- 1:04:22to pass that much again, that was a three-point win against
- 1:04:26Clemson. If he has to pass that much,
- 1:04:28that's our only chance. If you tell me he's at like 18,
- 1:04:32Oh God. It's going to be it's they
- 1:04:34going, they going to easily cover, easily cover 14, Yeah.
- 1:04:39Because, because at that point if like Wreck talk was talking
- 1:04:42about, you look at the, the Russian attack, they're, they're
- 1:04:44going to be easily over that, that 160 mark that he was
- 1:04:47talking about, there'll be somewhere north of 200 in those
- 1:04:49rushing yards if he's only throwing 18 times. 100% All
- 1:04:54righty, Brian, I, I put on there, let's talk about the
- 1:04:58portal. Fuck the portal.
- 1:04:59We'll talk about the portal next week and we got a little more
- 1:05:01time. Fuck that portal.
- 1:05:03Fuck the portal right now. Next week, let's get
- 1:05:07predictions. Is anybody predicting to win?
- 1:05:09I'm not. No.
- 1:05:11Dally. No.
- 1:05:14I mean, I'm, I'm respectable. I'm tempted to to say Georgia
- 1:05:18Tech covers Georgia. No I think I think Virginia Tech
- 1:05:22would cover it. May be a 14 point game.
- 1:05:24It was a 14 1/2 last we checked. It was.
- 1:05:28Hold on. That's what it opened at.
- 1:05:30Let me see where it's at now. Hold on, let me get to my out
- 1:05:33here. That indicates how much it's
- 1:05:35going. To be, they'll RIP my heart out
- 1:05:37and lose by, you know, 14 points or 10 points or something crazy
- 1:05:42like that. 14 1/2 Fourteen and a half Fourteen and a half 14 1/2
- 1:05:46Is it? 10 to 14 point game is what I
- 1:05:49think Georgia Tech's winning. 10 to 14 Georgia Tech Good point
- 1:05:53here by King season. He did throw 42 times in a game
- 1:05:58they should have lost. That was against Wake.
- 1:06:00They're 42 times. All right, well, let's get to
- 1:06:04it, Brian. Let's look at our gambling picks
- 1:06:06because, you know, why not? We ain't got much else to do.
- 1:06:10Why not? So.
- 1:06:12We're looking like the Hokies out here, man, What the hell?
- 1:06:14All right, well, Tally and Tally and Shelton could come back to
- 1:06:19500 this week. I'm truly looking like the
- 1:06:21Hokies. We not coming back.
- 1:06:23I know I'm not. So how did how did I go?
- 1:06:27Actually 500 last week. That was unexpected.
- 1:06:31If you bet with me last week for the first time since I think
- 1:06:34week 1, you would have at least broke even. 100% who knows
- 1:06:41Brian, you went all, you went a couple of sideways ones and it
- 1:06:44works sometimes. I think you took you took UVA,
- 1:06:48that was 1, you took UVA and what was your other one?
- 1:06:54Hold on. Blank and Jafferdin hang on a.
- 1:06:55Minute averdin here, where is it?
- 1:06:57I got it wrote down somewhere. Miami Miami saved you the two
- 1:07:09biggest rival puts Brian in 500 last week.
- 1:07:13Well, this week, by the way, we, we, we talked about it when we
- 1:07:17were chatting. Tal, I think you said it or
- 1:07:19maybe Brian, y'all said one of y'all said it.
- 1:07:21Like, holy shit, there's a bunch of good games this weekend.
- 1:07:24A ton of good. Games, yeah.
- 1:07:26At least what, four or five? Ranked versus ranked.
- 1:07:30Yeah, right, Four or five ranked versus ranked couple, 5 huge
- 1:07:33rivalry games. And I'll start it off and I am
- 1:07:37going to the biggest rivalry game this weekend at the Texas
- 1:07:42State Fair in the Cotton Bowl, the Red River Shootout.
- 1:07:46You ever call it a rivalry? You're not a fucking college
- 1:07:49football saying go away, go away.
- 1:07:52I wish I could change my bet based on the news that literally
- 1:07:55broke an hour ago and I sent you all the message.
- 1:07:59Like damn it, John Matee is now questionable to play.
- 1:08:05John Matee is Oklahoma's quarterback who's been balling
- 1:08:07this season before he fucked up his thumb, but we.
- 1:08:10Did you take Texas? I'll go ahead play.
- 1:08:13Texas, I think, because if Matee wasn't going to play, I think
- 1:08:16Texas had a chance to win this game.
- 1:08:18I'll have to stick with it because that's what you know,
- 1:08:21when we when when we make our picks at the time it's time to
- 1:08:25make the picks. That was my knowledge.
- 1:08:27Texas 1 1/2. Please don't let Matique play.
- 1:08:32Y'all can beat Texas by a point without Jon Matique playing and
- 1:08:37still get a win. Texas.
- 1:08:41Sheldon Rd. letter right along with you there bud.
- 1:08:44Tally you. Texas.
- 1:08:50And even without the information on quarterback, I went OU here I
- 1:08:54think. That you did.
- 1:08:56I thought it was going to be a scraper by OU.
- 1:08:58Regardless, I I haven't liked what I've seen from Texas at all
- 1:09:01this year so far so. They trash.
- 1:09:04They do, right? They're trash.
- 1:09:06I mean, they got stomped in the swamp by the Florida team.
- 1:09:09So yeah. All right, next game is who's up
- 1:09:15next, Sally. Hi, Lee.
- 1:09:20I'm definitely going to be a LSU fan for this game.
- 1:09:25I hope they win by 40 points because I'm a hater and one of
- 1:09:29the things I want to hate on is South Carolina.
- 1:09:31But I am taking South Carolina in this this point spread just
- 1:09:37because I want LSU to do that. And unless you that defense
- 1:09:41hadn't looked that great to me. I mean, offense, the office
- 1:09:43hadn't looked that great to me, so I don't think they're going
- 1:09:46to score enough points to beat them by 10 points.
- 1:09:50Yeah, when we were when we were doing the picks for this and,
- 1:09:54and and Tally dropped his and I was like, you know, he gave his
- 1:09:57justification. I was like, OK, so we're we're
- 1:09:59in full hate mode at at this point that that's all we have to
- 1:10:05cling on to for the rest of the season is being haters.
- 1:10:07And I'll, it's fun. As depressing as it is, it's at
- 1:10:12least a little fun to hate on that.
- 1:10:13But I think South Carolina's going to keep this one close
- 1:10:16enough to to cover there. But I do think LSU takes the
- 1:10:19victory, so I'll take South Carolina as well.
- 1:10:25I'm going to take South Carolina as well, but for for another
- 1:10:30reason. A no Smyers out Garrett.
- 1:10:33No Smyers not playing anymore this year.
- 1:10:36He's done done. Yep.
- 1:10:38And I think 9 1/2, and by all means, I mean South Carolina
- 1:10:45could have been in Missouri the other week.
- 1:10:48South Carolina could easily be 4 and one right now.
- 1:10:50I think they cover and I think they got a chance to like pull
- 1:10:54off a massive upset down in Death Valley.
- 1:10:58I mean, I mean, because if you shame the first thing you throw
- 1:11:04is just throw the line like they ain't got a starting
- 1:11:06quarterback. And they say they're going to be
- 1:11:07just about 10 points. Yeah.
- 1:11:10Shelton, I think he rode along with us.
- 1:11:12That is a across the board. That's a BCP suite baby.
- 1:11:16Yep, next is Shelton's pick. Not here.
- 1:11:21BYU, Arizona. Arizona, the unranked team at
- 1:11:27home getting the 1 1/2 points. An 8:00 game out of 1030 game by
- 1:11:34the way. So this will not be rec talks
- 1:11:36game of the week that he live streaming.
- 1:11:38But Sheldon, what did he say? What did Sheldon say?
- 1:11:41Sheldon's riding with Zona Tally.
- 1:11:45I'm riding with Zona as well. B Ron All.
- 1:11:50Right. Not so fast, guys.
- 1:11:52I'm gonna go with this. I'm gonna go with the Mormons,
- 1:11:54man. We had we had them come up
- 1:11:57earlier. Might as well ride with them,
- 1:11:59baby. All right.
- 1:12:01I'm going Arizona too, and here's why.
- 1:12:04Unranked team. Y'all know who BYU is playing
- 1:12:06next week? Who we got?
- 1:12:08They play in Utah in the Holy War.
- 1:12:10Their mind is not going to be on play in Arizona.
- 1:12:13Their mind is going to be playing Utah at Utah next week.
- 1:12:18They are going to stumble, lose their undefeated record before
- 1:12:21they go to the Holy War. Arizona plus 1 1/2.
- 1:12:26Ryan, where's our last stop on this wonderful trip?
- 1:12:32Oh, you know where we're going. Eugene, OR.
- 1:12:36Yes, Sir, yes Sir. This is probably the marquee
- 1:12:40matchup of the week. I was kind of fighting back and
- 1:12:46forth on this one, even with that line.
- 1:12:48But ultimately where I landed is I think it's going to be about a
- 1:12:51touchdown victory for Oregon. That hook was a little too much
- 1:12:56for me. I think Oregon's going to roll
- 1:13:01them. I don't think I think I would
- 1:13:03have taken this at 9:00 or 9 1/2.
- 1:13:05Oregon rolls up there. Indiana crashes back to earth.
- 1:13:09They're truly first. We saw what happened last year.
- 1:13:12They beat shit out of everybody. Then they had to play a big boy
- 1:13:14and they got thumped. They going to get thumped again.
- 1:13:18Yeah, I got to go Oregon. I can't really.
- 1:13:22I can't really choose any Indiana games.
- 1:13:26I think it was Jason last year. Was it Jason or Robbie J?
- 1:13:31Jason, that would throw. Throw some in there, yeah.
- 1:13:33Yeah. Yeah, it was.
- 1:13:36Robbie, Robbie was a hater. He's like, he's like anytime
- 1:13:39Indiana's on here go against them because they don't win the
- 1:13:42big games. So Robbie's who I'm talking
- 1:13:44about then? Yeah.
- 1:13:45So Robbie said there was pretenders last year, not saying
- 1:13:48they're pretenders this year. I just need to see more for me
- 1:13:51to put them on the on the win column, on the on the spread
- 1:13:54all. Right, so there it is.
- 1:13:58There's all our big screeners. A little short episode this week
- 1:14:02because I do believe in next Monday we're going to probably
- 1:14:05go a full 2 hours easy. 2 hours because we'll talk about the
- 1:14:11Georgia Tech start. Jumping on start talking about
- 1:14:13the coaching. It's going, it's going to go a
- 1:14:15little bit bad. So there's some new folks in
- 1:14:17here, Brian. Just tell them what will happen
- 1:14:19next week so they're prepared. Yeah, so next week, what we're
- 1:14:23going to do, we're going to have, we're going, you know,
- 1:14:25recap what happened with Georgia Tech.
- 1:14:27We'll, we'll, we'll break that down.
- 1:14:30And at some point in the episode, I will drop the link to
- 1:14:34join the stream as people, you know, click the link.
- 1:14:38They'll come into the the green room there and we'll try to work
- 1:14:42you on as, as quick as we can. Try to come in, make your .2 to
- 1:14:473 minutes, something like that. Try to try to be succinct, get
- 1:14:50your point across, but but definitely, as Tally said
- 1:14:53earlier, come with come with some, some credentials, some
- 1:14:56backup as as far as the reasoning and and all that.
- 1:14:59Don't just, you know, throw names at a wall and say, all
- 1:15:02right, see you later. Exactly.
- 1:15:04All right. With that being said, Tally, we
- 1:15:07turn it in early tonight. Let's get some sleep, boys.
